- 0:01Speaker 1: So there are some big headlines breaking the deal with
- 0:04Speaker 1: Hunter Biden. Hunter Biden probe is being mishandled. A new
- 0:08Speaker 1: whistle blower is now saying from the IRS. An IRS
- 0:14Speaker 1: supervisor says through a letter to lawmakers from a lawyer,
- 0:19Speaker 1: that he has information regarding the investigation of a high profile,
- 0:24Speaker 1: controversial subject. This IRS supervisor telling lawmakers that he has
- 0:31Speaker 1: information that suggests the Biden administration is improperly handling the
- 0:36Speaker 1: criminal investigation into President Biden's son, Hunter Biden, and is
- 0:41Speaker 1: seeking whistleblower protections, according to people familiar with the matter,
- 0:45Speaker 1: a letter sent to Congress this week says a career
- 0:50Speaker 1: IRS supervisor special agent has information that would contradict sworn
- 0:57Speaker 1: testimony by a senior political appointee. The supervisor also has
- 1:04Speaker 1: information about a failure to mitigate clear conflicts of interest
- 1:08Speaker 1: in the ultimate depth disposition of the case, according to
- 1:14Speaker 1: a letter, we now have a copy of that letter.
- 1:18Speaker 1: I want to read for you what is being said
- 1:21Speaker 1: in this letter, but first I want to play for
- 1:23Speaker 1: you something that's even more shocking, and that is the
- 1:26Speaker 1: fact that CBS Evening News for the first time led
- 1:30Speaker 1: a newscast with a Hunter Biden's story. They were the
- 1:34Speaker 1: ones that got their hands on this bomb show IRS
- 1:37Speaker 1: whistleblower report, and here is how CBS covered it for
- 1:41Speaker 1: an entire minute and thirty nine seconds. That's longer than
- 1:46Speaker 1: any story they've ever done on Hunter Biden and the
- 1:48Speaker 1: Biden crime family.
- 1:50Speaker 2: There is breaking news in the federal criminal investigation into
- 1:53Speaker 2: Hunter Biden's tax returns. An attorney for an IRS supervisor
- 1:57Speaker 2: sent a letter to lawmakers today asking for whistleblower protection,
- 2:01Speaker 2: saying his client has information that suggests the investigation is
- 2:05Speaker 2: being improperly influenced by quote, preferential treatment and politics. Here,
- 2:11Speaker 2: CBS News Chief Investigative correspondent Jim Axelrod.
- 2:16Speaker 3: My client wants to come forward to Congress. He's ready
- 2:19Speaker 3: to be questioned about what he knows and what he
- 2:21Speaker 3: experienced under the proper legal protections.
- 2:24Speaker 4: Attorney Mark Ladl's client is a supervisory special agent at
- 2:28Speaker 4: the IRS who's prepared to tell Congress the investigation he's
- 2:32Speaker 4: been working on has been hampered by what he thinks
- 2:35Speaker 4: is special treatment.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Typical steps that a law enforcement investigator would take were
- 2:41Speaker 3: compromised because of political considerations.
- 2:45Speaker 4: Lytel wouldn't talk in specifics declining to identify either his
- 2:48Speaker 4: client or the target of the investigation his client helped conduct.
- 2:53Speaker 4: Can you identify him?
- 2:54Speaker 3: I can't at this stage, Jim.
- 2:56Speaker 4: But CBS News has learned the investigation the whistleblower worked
- 3:00Speaker 4: on is about Hunter Biden.
- 3:02Speaker 5: What we're doing is is being completely cooperative.
- 3:05Speaker 6: That was Biden.
- 3:06Speaker 4: Two years ago, after the DOJ opened an investigation into
- 3:10Speaker 4: his finances, the FBI collected what it believed was sufficient
- 3:14Speaker 4: evidence to charge Biden with tax crimes, and last year
- 3:18Speaker 4: Senates findings to the US attorney in Delaware. Since then, silence.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Now we have a copy of that letter that they
- 3:28Speaker 1: were just talking about there, and I want to read
- 3:30Speaker 1: you this letter so that you understand exactly what this
- 3:34Speaker 1: all means. The letter was sent from this attorney, and
- 3:39Speaker 1: the attorney sent the email or this letter, I should say,
- 3:43Speaker 1: to the Honorable Ron Widen, the Chairman the Committee on Finance,
- 3:48Speaker 1: the co chair Whistleblower Protection Caucus to the United States Senate.
- 3:53Speaker 1: This also went to the Honorable Mike Mike Crapo, He's
- 3:56Speaker 1: the ranking member Committee on Finance, United States Senate. The
- 4:00Speaker 1: Honorable Richard Durbin. Dick Durbin, the hardcore Lefty Chairman Committee
- 4:04Speaker 1: of the Judiciary Committee, United States Senate, The Honorable Lindsay Graham,
- 4:08Speaker 1: Ranking Member, Committee on the Judiciary, Charles Grassley Chuck Grassley,
- 4:12Speaker 1: co Chair Whistle Or Protection Caucus Member, Committee on Finance,
- 4:16Speaker 1: United States, The Honorable Jason Smith, Chairman, Committee on Ways
- 4:20Speaker 1: and Means, the Honorable Richard Neil, Ranking Member Committee on
- 4:23Speaker 1: Ways and Means, the Honorable Jim Jordan's Chairman, Committee on
- 4:26Speaker 1: the Judiciary, United States Representatives, and the Honorable Liberal Jerry Nadler,
- 4:30Speaker 1: Ranking Member Committee on Judiciary, United States House Representatives. Now
- 4:34Speaker 1: I give you that list because these are people that
- 4:36Speaker 1: now know about this and have this letter. They cannot
- 4:39Speaker 1: act like they didn't get this letter. This lawyer very
- 4:42Speaker 1: smart to add all of these high ranking Democrats on
- 4:46Speaker 1: there and put this out to the public. Otherwise they're
- 4:49Speaker 1: just going to act like it never happened. The letter
- 4:53Speaker 1: reads this way, Dear Chairs and ranking Members, I represent
- 4:58Speaker 1: a career IRS criminal Supervisory special agent who has been
- 5:04Speaker 1: overseeing the ongoing insensitive investigation of a high profile, controversial
- 5:09Speaker 1: subject since early twenty twenty and would like to make
- 5:14Speaker 1: protected whistle blower disclosures to Congress. Despite serious risks of retaliation.
- 5:20Speaker 1: My client is offering to provide you with information necessary
- 5:26Speaker 1: to exercise your constitutional oversight function and wishes to make
- 5:30Speaker 1: the disclosures in a non partisan manner to the leadership
- 5:35Speaker 1: of the relevant committees on both sides of the political aisle.
- 5:39Speaker 1: My client has already made legally protected disclosures internally at
- 5:45Speaker 1: the IRS through Council to the US Treasury Inspector General
- 5:51Speaker 1: for Tax Administration. So he's already blown the whistle as
- 5:55Speaker 1: high as he can internally, is what this lawyer is
- 5:57Speaker 1: now laying out, and to the Departpartment of Justice, the
- 6:02Speaker 1: Office of Inspector General. Now let's just stop there and
- 6:05Speaker 1: and and think about that part. This client has already
- 6:10Speaker 1: made legally protected disclosures to the I R. S Okay,
- 6:15Speaker 1: then the US Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration, then
- 6:20Speaker 1: to the Department of Justice, then to the Office of
- 6:23Speaker 1: Inspector General. That's four different agencies of the government, and
- 6:26Speaker 1: we can assume from this letter none of them have
- 6:29Speaker 1: done a damn thing. All these organizations of our government
- 6:33Speaker 1: that I just listed are all under the leadership of
- 6:36Speaker 1: Joe Biden.
- 6:37Speaker 7: Never forget that. Now, this is why you go public the.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Protected disclosures, the lawyer continues, contradict sworn testimony to Congress
- 6:51Speaker 1: by a senior political appointee involve failure to mitigate clear
- 6:57Speaker 1: conflicts of interest and the ultimate disposition of the case.
- 7:02Speaker 1: And three detail examples of preferential treatment and politics in
- 7:09Speaker 1: properly infecting decisions and protocols that would normally be followed
- 7:15Speaker 1: by career law enforcement professionals in similar circumstances if the
- 7:21Speaker 1: subject were not politically connected. Some of the protected disclosures
- 7:27Speaker 1: contain information that is restricted by statue from unauthorized disclosure
- 7:35Speaker 1: to protect taxpayer and tax return information. My client would
- 7:43Speaker 1: like to share the same legally protected disclosures with Congress
- 7:47Speaker 1: pursuant to twenty six USC. Dash and a bunch of
- 7:51Speaker 1: other stuff there. Just I'll skip that for you, and
- 7:54Speaker 1: the protections afforded by five USC. Twenty three h two
- 7:59Speaker 1: be a that has that he has already shared with
- 8:06Speaker 1: other oversight authorities out of an abundance of caution. The
- 8:10Speaker 1: lawyer goes on to say, regarding taxpayer privacy laws, my
- 8:14Speaker 1: client is refrained from sharing certain information even with me
- 8:18Speaker 1: in the course of seeking legal advice. Thus it is
- 8:21Speaker 1: challenging for me to make fully informed judgments about how
- 8:24Speaker 1: best to proceed. The attorney continues, my goal is to
- 8:29Speaker 1: ensure that my client can properly share his lawfully protected
- 8:32Speaker 1: disclosures with Congressional committees. Thus, I respectfully request that your
- 8:39Speaker 1: committees work with me to facilitate sharing this information with
- 8:44Speaker 1: Congress legally and with a fully informed advice of counsel,
- 8:49Speaker 1: with the appropriate legal protections and in the appropriate setting.
- 8:54Speaker 1: I would be happy to meet with you and provide
- 8:56Speaker 1: a more detailed pro offer of the testimony my client
- 9:00Speaker 1: could provide to Congress. Sincerely, Mark Ltdele the partner he
- 9:05Speaker 1: c seed also the Honorable Michael Horowitz, US Inspector General
- 9:11Speaker 1: US Department of Justice, and the Honorable Russell George, Inspector
- 9:15Speaker 1: General for Tax Administration, US Department of Treasury. This lawyer
- 9:19Speaker 1: could not have done a better job of naming people
- 9:22Speaker 1: in this letter that is now public, so that it
- 9:25Speaker 1: is impossible for them to ignore and or cover up
- 9:29Speaker 1: what this whistleblower is wanting to do. The question is
- 9:35Speaker 1: will he get this whistleblower protection. I think the answer
- 9:39Speaker 1: is obviously yes. That's exactly why we have whistleblower protection
- 9:43Speaker 1: in Congress within our government. Let me also just remind
- 9:48Speaker 1: you of something else when it comes to the bank
- 9:51Speaker 1: records of the Bidens. Bank records we now know show
- 9:56Speaker 1: that Joe funneled money to his son Hunter every time
- 10:00Speaker 1: he needed it, and he funneled money to his son
- 10:03Speaker 1: for prostitutes. We know now from bank records that Hunter
- 10:08Speaker 1: spent up to thirty thousand dollars on escorts in five months.
- 10:12Speaker 1: We know that he was paying to traffic Russian sex
- 10:16Speaker 1: workers across state lines and disguising payments as medical expenses.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Not only is the Biden crime family corrupt, the Biden
- 10:25Speaker 1: crime family is literally no pun intended in bed with Russians.
- 10:31Speaker 7: We know that now.
- 10:33Speaker 1: All Right, Before I get into that, I want to
- 10:34Speaker 1: talk to you real quick about our friends over at
- 10:36Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile. They are now offering a performance guarantee. If
- 10:41Speaker 1: you're not happy with your coverage, you can switch between
- 10:43Speaker 1: the three major carriers for free.
- 10:46Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile is America's only Christian conservative wireless provider. They
- 10:52Speaker 1: are for nationwide coverage on the best G four and
- 10:54Speaker 1: G five networks, the same network and towers are using
- 10:57Speaker 1: right now. The difference is not only do you get
- 11:01Speaker 1: the same great quality that you're used to, but they
- 11:05Speaker 1: actually are a company that fights to preserve or God
- 11:08Speaker 1: given rights and freedoms. So this year resolved to stop
- 11:12Speaker 1: spending your money with companies that don't align with your values,
- 11:16Speaker 1: in fact, actually fight against what you believe in. Switch
- 11:19Speaker 1: to Patriot Mobile. You'll be supporting First and Second Amendment groups,
- 11:23Speaker 1: the rights of unborn children, and even helping with adoptions.
- 11:26Speaker 7: It is easy to switch.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Call them right now, or go online to Patriotmobile dot
- 11:31Speaker 1: com slash ferguson. That's Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson. Or
- 11:36Speaker 1: call them eight seven eight Patriot. You're gonna get free
- 11:39Speaker 1: activation with the offer code ferguson. That's eight seven eight
- 11:43Speaker 1: Patriot or Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson.
- 11:47Speaker 7: Now, all of.
- 11:48Speaker 1: This that I just told you about this whistleblower at
- 11:51Speaker 1: the IRS, high level person that's been there for a
- 11:54Speaker 1: long time, also comes as we're finding out more about
- 11:58Speaker 1: how many Bidens are on take. The Biden crime family
- 12:03Speaker 1: is big. The Biden crime family continues to get bigger.
- 12:09Speaker 1: That's why Representative James Comer said, we've identified these six
- 12:13Speaker 1: new Biden family members involved in shady foreign transactions. After
- 12:18Speaker 1: you heard what I just read from you from this
- 12:21Speaker 1: letter of this IRS whistleblower. Now listen again to what
- 12:25Speaker 1: James Comer said, Listen to the words that he's using.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Listen to where he is trying to explain where you
- 12:31Speaker 1: need to go with this intel.
- 12:33Speaker 8: There are thousands of pages of documents relating to financial transactions.
- 12:37Speaker 8: And let me be very clear, this isn't just about
- 12:40Speaker 8: the president's son or the president's brother. We've identified six
- 12:45Speaker 8: new Biden family members involved in shady foreign transactions.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Let's just stop there, shady foreign transactions with James Comber,
- 12:57Speaker 1: and I think he's trying to be careful and how
- 12:58Speaker 1: he does this, but he's also so letting you know
- 13:00Speaker 1: this is changing significantly from.
- 13:03Speaker 7: What we thought it was before.
- 13:06Speaker 1: These transactions were transactions that equate to the in essence
- 13:13Speaker 1: money laundering. There's the laundering of money into anyone with
- 13:19Speaker 1: a last name Biden.
- 13:22Speaker 7: Okay, that's what it is.
- 13:24Speaker 1: The laundering of cash that is coming in to anybody
- 13:30Speaker 1: with the last name Biden.
- 13:32Speaker 7: We don't care who you are.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Pay them countless LLCs to launder this money in countless
- 13:41Speaker 1: bank accounts where money could be laundered into the Biden
- 13:44Speaker 1: crime family. We don't care how you get it to us, right,
- 13:47Speaker 1: use different avenues, use different people within the Biden crime family.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Send the money this time to her. Now, next time,
- 13:54Speaker 1: send it to this family member. The next time after that,
- 13:57Speaker 1: send to this family member. The next time after that,
- 13:59Speaker 1: sent to that family member. This was a money laundering
- 14:04Speaker 1: scheme that went on, from what we understand, for decades.
- 14:09Speaker 1: This started, by the way, when Hunter Biden was a
- 14:12Speaker 1: little tyke. Okay, also understand that like this started a
- 14:17Speaker 1: long time ago, and now we have these suspicious activity
- 14:22Speaker 1: reports that have even blown the minds of those that
- 14:25Speaker 1: were investigating the Biden's because they didn't even see all
- 14:28Speaker 1: of this and couldn't imagine it now expanding to nine
- 14:32Speaker 1: different family members with the last name Biden.
- 14:35Speaker 7: That is a fact.
- 14:37Speaker 1: That's a hell of a lot of people with the
- 14:39Speaker 1: last name Biden taking money from foreign entities, adversaries of
- 14:44Speaker 1: the United States of America. These are not our friends,
- 14:47Speaker 1: These are our adversaries. How do we know that, because
- 14:52Speaker 1: that's how he described it.
- 14:54Speaker 8: Keep listening that we believe we're a direct result of
- 14:57Speaker 8: influence peddling. That brings the number of Biden family members
- 15:01Speaker 8: now to nine. That were involved in the Biden family
- 15:04Speaker 8: influenced peddling, and we still have more family members that
- 15:08Speaker 8: we suspect were involved. So this is a family affair.
- 15:12Speaker 8: This is something that should be troubling to every American.
- 15:15Speaker 8: And what we've learned from going through these records are
- 15:17Speaker 8: there a lot of additional LLCs, a lot of additional
- 15:21Speaker 8: bank accounts that we didn't know prior to going to
- 15:24Speaker 8: the Treasury Cabinet. So we've learned a lot. This investigation
- 15:27Speaker 8: is ongoing, but I can tell you without hesitation, it's
- 15:31Speaker 8: very serious and the President of Ied States is going
- 15:33Speaker 8: to have a very hard time explaining how so many
- 15:37Speaker 8: of his family members have received so much money from
- 15:40Speaker 8: our adversaries around the.
- 15:41Speaker 1: World at I talked by the way to someone on
- 15:45Speaker 1: Capitol Hill about this yesterday and I wanted just some
- 15:49Speaker 1: more background generically, and I said, okay, if it's nine
- 15:52Speaker 1: business family members, explain to me a little bit more
- 15:56Speaker 1: of what we think how this scheme work. And the
- 15:58Speaker 1: way they described it to me he was actually very simple.
- 16:02Speaker 1: You can't just keep having the money come into one
- 16:04Speaker 1: bank account. You got to spread around so that people
- 16:06Speaker 1: don't catch on to it. You need new LLCs, that
- 16:09Speaker 1: are constantly changing, new fake companies that you claim are
- 16:13Speaker 1: doing different things that make it harder to connect dots.
- 16:17Speaker 1: You need different family members who get cash. So I'm assuming,
- 16:21Speaker 1: based on it jumping to nine, that this is probably
- 16:25Speaker 1: one of those scenarios where you went to the Bidens,
- 16:28Speaker 1: went to their wives, went to their husbands, and we're like, hey, man,
- 16:33Speaker 1: we got to set up a new LLC. We got
- 16:34Speaker 1: some cash coming in from China. Hey, we got to
- 16:37Speaker 1: set up another LLC. We got some cash we're gonna
- 16:39Speaker 1: get paid coming in from Russia. Hey, we've got these
- 16:41Speaker 1: Russian oligarchs who to this day have still not made
- 16:45Speaker 1: it onto the sanctions list. That we're sending millions of
- 16:47Speaker 1: dollars to the Biden crime family. We got to get
- 16:49Speaker 1: another LLC for this money to come in. This goes
- 16:53Speaker 1: back to how compromised the president clearly is. If you're
- 16:57Speaker 1: sending money to his family, you have those financial transactions
- 17:03Speaker 1: to show to investigators. This Chinese bank, recently, Chinese American
- 17:08Speaker 1: Bank was the first bank to come forward and to say, hey,
- 17:11Speaker 1: you can have all of the financial records on the
- 17:13Speaker 1: Bidens if you want them.
- 17:14Speaker 7: Here.
- 17:14Speaker 1: They are Many people believe, as do I that the
- 17:18Speaker 1: reason why that Chinese bank did that is to remind
- 17:21Speaker 1: the Bidens how compromised they are. It was a shot
- 17:24Speaker 1: across the bow. You guys better shut up. You guys,
- 17:27Speaker 1: better pay attention. You guys, better listen. You guys better
- 17:32Speaker 1: remember just how much damning information we have on you.
- 17:37Speaker 1: You guys better really hunker down over there and understand
- 17:43Speaker 1: that we're not screwing around. You guys better pay attention
- 17:49Speaker 1: to what you say and what you do, because we
- 17:52Speaker 1: can bury you. That's what this goes. That's what all
- 17:56Speaker 1: this basically comes down down to. The Biden crime family
- 18:02Speaker 1: is owned by our adversaries. That's why James Comer said
- 18:06Speaker 1: them at the end, there was no legitimate businesses that
- 18:10Speaker 1: were being run from the Bidens. That's the other thing
- 18:12Speaker 1: that we understand from these disclosures. The money was only
- 18:15Speaker 1: coming in from overseas. The money was only coming in
- 18:19Speaker 1: from shady actors overseas. The money was only coming in
- 18:23Speaker 1: from people that wanted to buy influence in the United
- 18:27Speaker 1: States of America, and they realized they could do it
- 18:30Speaker 1: by buying off the Vice President of the United States
- 18:33Speaker 1: of America, who is now the President of the United
- 18:35Speaker 1: States of America. Not a bad deal when you think
- 18:39Speaker 1: about it that way. I want to go back to
- 18:42Speaker 1: the IRS for a second. This whistleblower who has come
- 18:45Speaker 1: forward right and said, hey, I got intel on Hunter
- 18:50Speaker 1: Biden and preferential treatment and the law is not being
- 18:53Speaker 1: followed the right way. And I've been a career guy. Here, investigator,
- 18:56Speaker 1: I need some help. He got a lawyer, he's whistleblown.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Now he needs whistleble or protections to tell you just
- 19:02Speaker 1: how corrupt the IRS is on behalf of the Biden
- 19:06Speaker 1: crime family.
- 19:08Speaker 7: Now do we know that there is corruption at the IRS?
- 19:11Speaker 7: Is there? Let's ask that question. The answer is yes.
- 19:14Speaker 7: How do we know that?
- 19:14Speaker 1: We know this from back when the IRS was targeting
- 19:17Speaker 1: conservative and tea party groups. We also know that there's
- 19:21Speaker 1: corruption at the IRS even more recently. Great example of
- 19:26Speaker 1: that is this week Matt Taby, who's a reporter you
- 19:30Speaker 1: may remember his name, because when the Twitter files were
- 19:33Speaker 1: being dumped, okay, Elon Musk gave access to different reporters
- 19:39Speaker 1: to come in and see what they had unearthed about
- 19:42Speaker 1: the corruption at Twitter, the silencing of people, the shadow
- 19:46Speaker 1: banning of people. The list really goes on and on
- 19:49Speaker 1: of what they were doing at Twitter, including getting constant
- 19:55Speaker 1: direction from the federal government of who to silence, who
- 19:58Speaker 1: to shut down, and even when to spy on you.
- 20:01Speaker 1: We've also found out about being able to read people's
- 20:03Speaker 1: direct messages, sources and journalists who may have had info
- 20:08Speaker 1: come into them. Right now, we know this. It's disgusting
- 20:13Speaker 1: and I understand it now. It's pretty I mean, it's
- 20:15Speaker 1: pretty disgusting right that this is what is happening now.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Before I get into more of this story, I want
- 20:21Speaker 1: to say thank you and tell you about our good
- 20:23Speaker 1: friends at the Augusta Precious Medals. You can get free

- 21:25Speaker 1: their power under the Biden administration to silence their critics. Now,
- 21:29Speaker 1: Matt Tebe is a reporter, that's a journalist that is
- 21:31Speaker 1: not a conservative. I won't you understand that he's actually
- 21:34Speaker 1: a liberal. But Elon Musk liked his hardcore reporting style
- 21:38Speaker 1: and that's one of the reasons why he decided to
- 21:40Speaker 1: give him access to the Twitter files. He was then
- 21:44Speaker 1: asked to come to Congress to talk about those Twitter files.
- 21:49Speaker 1: And guess what happened. Well, Matt Tabe was sitting before
- 21:58Speaker 1: Congress doing House testimony about what he found in those
- 22:04Speaker 1: Twitter files before Congress, the IRS decided to send agents
- 22:08Speaker 1: to Matt Tabe's home during that House testimony. If that's
- 22:12Speaker 1: not a shout across the bow, I don't know what is.
- 22:15Speaker 1: This guy's on National TV. Everybody knows he's there. He's
- 22:18Speaker 1: on the front pages of newspapers, they can see him live,
- 22:21Speaker 1: they know where he is, and the IRS agents all
- 22:24Speaker 1: of a sudden show up at his door and come
- 22:25Speaker 1: and knocking.
- 22:27Speaker 7: Ron Johnson Center.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Johnson asked the IRS Commissioner on his agents on why
- 22:33Speaker 1: they were going to Matt Tabe's house during his house testimony.
- 22:36Speaker 9: Listen, I think this is pretty well documented that an
- 22:38Speaker 9: IRS agent showed up putting a note on mister Tabee's
- 22:42Speaker 9: doors call them in four days, which he did.
- 22:46Speaker 6: They explained what the situation is.
- 22:48Speaker 9: I find that unbelievably unusual, and I'm asking you, is
- 22:52Speaker 9: iOS Commissioner, does that happen often? How unusual is that
- 22:57Speaker 9: that an IRS aasan would show up at a taxpayer
- 23:00Speaker 9: home and tell them give us a call.
- 23:03Speaker 6: Now, throw on top of that, an.
- 23:06Speaker 9: IRS agent showing up at a taxpayer's home that taxpayer
- 23:10Speaker 9: just happens to be testifying before the House Judiciary Committee
- 23:14Speaker 9: on the weaponization of government against US citizens.
- 23:20Speaker 6: I mean, the chance of.
- 23:21Speaker 9: That happening is infinitesimal, but it happened. So I'm just saying,
- 23:29Speaker 9: in general, how often does the IRS show up as
- 23:32Speaker 9: the first notice that there may be an issue with
- 23:34Speaker 9: the problem with taxpayer's return and makes a personal appearance
- 23:38Speaker 9: of that taxpayer's home.
- 23:40Speaker 6: Is that part of your procedures. Has that happen very often?
- 23:43Speaker 10: Again, I want to be cautious in my answer to
- 23:46Speaker 10: make sure that I am not violating.
- 23:48Speaker 6: A PROHIBI that's fine talk in general.
- 23:50Speaker 10: Talk generally that if a taxpayer, if the IRS is
- 23:56Speaker 10: reaching out to you directly, it is more likely the
- 24:00Speaker 10: case that there has been some issue with your return.
- 24:03Speaker 10: Where we've tried reaching you through less intrusive means, we
- 24:10Speaker 10: have been unsuccessful. We want to help and get a
- 24:13Speaker 10: handle on why you may not have filed, on why
- 24:16Speaker 10: you might have an outstanding balance.
- 24:18Speaker 9: Dude, you're not asking my question in terms of how
- 24:21Speaker 9: often that would happen. My time is running out, So
- 24:23Speaker 9: all I can say is, I know Chairman Jordan has
- 24:26Speaker 9: sent you and Secretary Yellen a letter requesting all the
- 24:29Speaker 9: information on that I would be.
- 24:31Speaker 6: Sending a similar letter.
- 24:32Speaker 9: I'd like it if the Chairman would join me in
- 24:34Speaker 9: that letter to get this information, because this is very
- 24:37Speaker 9: troubling to have the IRS take that type of action. Again,
- 24:42Speaker 9: the chances are so infinitesimally small that Iron Station could
- 24:46Speaker 9: show up at the journalist's door the day that journalist
- 24:50Speaker 9: is testifying for a House committee.
- 24:52Speaker 7: Why would you do that if you're the IRS to Rattlin,
- 24:57Speaker 7: you know.
- 24:57Speaker 1: He's going to get a text message, probably from his
- 25:01Speaker 1: wife or whoever they thought would be home. Hey man,
- 25:04Speaker 1: the I R S Is knocking on your door, bro.
- 25:06Speaker 1: I think that would throw you off your game if
- 25:08Speaker 1: you're about to testify. Yeah, Kirby, he was asked about this.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Kirby at the White House was asked about this and
- 25:19Speaker 1: what did what did?
- 25:20Speaker 7: What did?
- 25:20Speaker 1: What did John Kirby have to say? Oh, don't worry,
- 25:24Speaker 1: great answer. Right, we can't talk about it. We would
- 25:27Speaker 1: never do this. We're going to refer you back to
- 25:29Speaker 1: the IRS.
- 25:30Speaker 11: The journalists Matt Taibe this week said that the IRS
- 25:34Speaker 11: visited his home on the same day as he testified
- 25:37Speaker 11: to a House subcommittee on the alleged weaponization of government.
- 25:41Speaker 7: Tybee worked on the.
- 25:41Speaker 11: Twitter Files project that revealed the government cooperation with the
- 25:44Speaker 11: Twitter to censor disfavorite speech. President Biden said, just now
- 25:49Speaker 11: the proof democracy gathering that we should have a quote
- 25:52Speaker 11: be better protecting activists and journalists from cyber threats, harassment,
- 25:57Speaker 11: and of use. There of course been domestic issue with
- 26:00Speaker 11: the US treatment of journalists, as a colleague in our
- 26:02Speaker 11: sixth row could attest. But I was wondering if you
- 26:05Speaker 11: could respond to this Tybee visit by the IRS and
- 26:09Speaker 11: say whether this is part of a capaid to brass
- 26:11Speaker 11: or intimidate him related to his journalism.
- 26:13Speaker 6: Oh afraid, I'm gonna.
- 26:14Speaker 10: Have to refer it to the IRS.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Okay, I'm afraid I'm going to have to refer you
- 26:20Speaker 1: to the IRS. There's the White House's position. We would
- 26:24Speaker 1: never weaponize our government right to do this. Oh no, no,
- 26:29Speaker 1: we would. We would never ever do anything like that.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Jim Jordan, by the way, talking about this issue, wanting
- 26:38Speaker 1: answers on why this individual you know, was harassed this way.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Listen to what Jim Jordan had to say on the
- 26:44Speaker 1: House side.
- 26:45Speaker 12: I'm surprised that Jennyellen didn't know anything about this.
- 26:48Speaker 5: This is actually a.
- 26:48Speaker 12: Pretty pretty big development in America and the United States
- 26:52Speaker 12: of America, where you know, you're not supposed to have
- 26:54Speaker 12: the government being.
- 26:54Speaker 5: Turned on the very people.
- 26:55Speaker 12: It's supposed to serve, which looks like it may have
- 26:58Speaker 12: been what was going on here.
- 27:00Speaker 5: I think the context is important.
- 27:02Speaker 12: Remember the day before mister Tyabe testifies, we all learned
- 27:06Speaker 12: that the FTC sent a letter to Twitter asking Twitter,
- 27:09Speaker 12: who are the journalists you're talking to?
- 27:11Speaker 5: Named mister Tayibi personally.
- 27:13Speaker 12: The very next day he testifies and Democrat members of
- 27:15Speaker 12: the committee ask.
- 27:17Speaker 5: Him, who are your sources?
- 27:18Speaker 12: Give us your sources a direct attack on the First Amendment.
- 27:21Speaker 12: And while they're asking those questions, the IRS is at
- 27:25Speaker 12: his door. And think about what it meant to him personally,
- 27:27Speaker 12: because they leave a note and they said, don't worry,
- 27:29Speaker 12: we'll get back with you on Monday.
- 27:31Speaker 5: Holy cow, this is the IRS.
- 27:33Speaker 12: We all fear this agency and they leave a note
- 27:36Speaker 12: saying we'll get back with you on Monday.
- 27:38Speaker 5: What that means for a normal person who has to
- 27:40Speaker 5: go through that. So this is why we want to
- 27:43Speaker 5: know what's going on. And frankly, we want to know.
- 27:44Speaker 12: Is there a chance this is one of those new
- 27:47Speaker 12: eighty seven thousand HIGHRS agents that the eighty billion dollars
- 27:50Speaker 12: was supposed to finance and hire. I don't know, but
- 27:53Speaker 12: we want to get answers to those questions.
- 27:55Speaker 1: I think we can all agree there's no doubt this
- 27:57Speaker 1: was a hit job from the United States government. Going
- 27:59Speaker 1: after journalists who talk out of turn, and Janet Yellen
- 28:04Speaker 1: she has no answer on how or why the IRS
- 28:07Speaker 1: showed up at Matt Tabey's house. No answer at all, right,
- 28:09Speaker 1: because you just keep saying I don't know, I don't know,
- 28:12Speaker 1: I don't know, and eventually then people might believe you.
- 28:15Speaker 13: I mean, you're an economists, you're a mathematician. What are
- 28:17Speaker 13: the chances of that being just luck that the high
- 28:22Speaker 13: r S appeared at someone's home while he's testifying about weaponization,
- 28:25Speaker 13: et cetergum before Congress. Because I think it's menuscool. I
- 28:28Speaker 13: think it's one in a million or less. And you
- 28:32Speaker 13: weren't aware of that. But now I've told you about it,
- 28:34Speaker 13: I need to ask you, with the direct oversight of
- 28:36Speaker 13: the RS, does that bother you.
- 28:39Speaker 14: It's certainly something that I would want to look into.
- 28:44Speaker 14: I'm not aware that IRIS agents do that, except, as
- 28:48Speaker 14: you said, in cases where there's an investigation.
- 28:53Speaker 1: That's exactly unless there's an actual investigation. There's no investigation
- 28:59Speaker 1: into Matt TV. They're just harassing Matt TV based on
- 29:04Speaker 1: what we understand on the exact day he's in front
- 29:06Speaker 1: of Congress.
- 29:08Speaker 7: Hey, let's rattle this guy.
- 29:09Speaker 1: And remind him who's really in charge in the United
- 29:11Speaker 1: States of America. Right, Let's let's rattle Matt taebe and
- 29:15Speaker 1: really make it where he's got some sleepless nights here.
- 29:18Speaker 7: Let's shoot at.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Let's take a shot across the bow here and just
- 29:22Speaker 1: let him know, let him understand that we're not to
- 29:25Speaker 1: be screwed with. Maybe you should shut up as a
- 29:29Speaker 1: journalist and sit down. Maybe you should stop exposing the
- 29:32Speaker 1: Twitter files. Maybe he needs to understand that he's just
- 29:35Speaker 1: a little fish in the pond and we can swallow
- 29:38Speaker 1: him up. Maybe that's what we need to be telling
- 29:40Speaker 1: this guy. How do we do that? Oh hey, let's
- 29:44Speaker 1: go to his house. I don't screw with him. No, no,
- 29:47Speaker 1: Let's go to his house on the day that he
- 29:49Speaker 1: has testifying to Congress and get him off his game.
- 29:53Speaker 7: Let's rattle the cages a little bit.
- 29:55Speaker 1: And warn him right before he's speaking to Congress or
- 30:00Speaker 1: ring his time there that he might want to choose
- 30:03Speaker 1: his words wisely. Let's get him a text message coming
- 30:07Speaker 1: from the people that are his house, just reminding him
- 30:10Speaker 1: that the US government is watching what you're testifying to today,
- 30:14Speaker 1: is watching what you're saying today. That's why the IRS
- 30:18Speaker 1: agent showed up that day. We all know that you
- 30:20Speaker 1: don't have to be smart or special to understand this
- 30:24Speaker 1: or to connect these dots. Make sure by the way,
