- 1:41Speaker 1: to turn them out. Turn You haven't got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 1: them out to turn the water the water go. Come,
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your thing, I show will Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You are listening to the voice, Come on dig me
- 2:07Speaker 1: now one and old. It's Steve Harvey. Got a radio
- 2:09Speaker 1: show partickling me this morning. Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Feel with nothing but joy and hope about it too.
- 2:21Speaker 1: You know, it's a great thing to be able to
- 2:23Speaker 1: wake up in the morning with peace in your heart
- 2:26Speaker 1: and joy. Peace and joy is is immeasurable. It has
- 2:31Speaker 1: a value attached to it, and I have no idea
- 2:34Speaker 1: what it is. It's invaluable. It is worth so much
- 2:37Speaker 1: more than any amount of money you can make. Peace
- 2:41Speaker 1: and joy. I have not always had that. I have
- 2:46Speaker 1: not always been a peaceful person or a person who
- 2:50Speaker 1: lived his life in a joy spirit. It took an
- 2:54Speaker 1: arrival at this moment. Some people arrive sooner than others.
- 3:00Speaker 1: I wish I had arrived at this point sooner, but
- 3:04Speaker 1: I think it was necessary for me to learn a
- 3:06Speaker 1: few things too. That's the amazing thing I've learned about
- 3:10Speaker 1: life is that instead of reflecting on your past incidences
- 3:17Speaker 1: and calling them failures, instead of focusing on the negative
- 3:21Speaker 1: and calling them bad times, I look at them now
- 3:27Speaker 1: as experiences. I had to have those experiences that were negative,
- 3:32Speaker 1: that were good, positive, wrong, even I had to have
- 3:37Speaker 1: all those experiences to become, to shape who we are today.
- 3:44Speaker 1: We all have to have them. If you look back
- 3:47Speaker 1: at all the negative experiences you've had, all the things
- 3:51Speaker 1: that you called failures, all the businesses I started that
- 3:55Speaker 1: went under, all of the jobs I had that I
- 3:57Speaker 1: was fired from, all the show that were canceled, all
- 4:02Speaker 1: of the times I thought I was gonna get something
- 4:05Speaker 1: happened in my way and turned out I didn't get
- 4:07Speaker 1: it at all. When you look at all of it,
- 4:10Speaker 1: all of it, hopefully along the way, what you have
- 4:13Speaker 1: done as a person is you've taken those negatives and
- 4:17Speaker 1: those failures and you've used them for what they actually are.
- 4:21Speaker 1: They are experiences, and they've now created in you an
- 4:26Speaker 1: experienced person and you know that is worth something. That's
- 4:33Speaker 1: then it becomes a positive. But what too many people
- 4:37Speaker 1: do is they let the negative things that have happened
- 4:40Speaker 1: in their life. They allow the failures that have happened
- 4:43Speaker 1: in them lives never to manifest themselves as experiences. And
- 4:48Speaker 1: you sit up there and you dwell on it, and
- 4:50Speaker 1: you dwell on it until you have this woe is
- 4:53Speaker 1: me attitude. Stop looking at it like that, y'all. You
- 4:57Speaker 1: go through things in order to become the person that
- 5:00Speaker 1: you are today. I'll tell you who you sometimes have
- 5:03Speaker 1: to sit down and talk to. Sometimes you are to
- 5:05Speaker 1: sit down to an inmate that really gets it, an
- 5:09Speaker 1: inmate that says, man, I've actually heard inmates say it
- 5:13Speaker 1: to me and write to me, and they've said things like, man,
- 5:17Speaker 1: coming to prison, save my life. Now, those of you
- 5:20Speaker 1: have never gone, how can he say a thing like that?
- 5:22Speaker 1: But some men, no, Man, I was so far out
- 5:26Speaker 1: there that if I had stayed out there, I wouldn't
- 5:28Speaker 1: even be here today. This actually allowed me to stop,
- 5:31Speaker 1: spend some time with myself and learn some things about me.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Now does that happen for everybody like that? Now? But
- 5:38Speaker 1: here's a person who was taking an experience that could
- 5:41Speaker 1: be considered a failure or a negative and turning it
- 5:43Speaker 1: into a positive and using it to enrich their lives.
- 5:47Speaker 1: You can do it no matter what your set of
- 5:49Speaker 1: circumstances is. I recommend to everybody that you try changing
- 5:54Speaker 1: your outlook in order to change your outcome. Everything that
- 5:58Speaker 1: happens to you that's negative or you can said of
- 6:00Speaker 1: failure their experiences. You've got to go through these things
- 6:03Speaker 1: in order to have the knowledge that you have today.
- 6:06Speaker 1: So I wish that I had come to this arrival,
- 6:09Speaker 1: that I may now this place of peace and joy.
- 6:12Speaker 1: But then guess what, I would not know what I know.
- 6:15Speaker 1: I could not share some of the things that I'm
- 6:18Speaker 1: able to share if I had not gone through some
- 6:20Speaker 1: of them. And sometimes that's the purpose of them, is
- 6:23Speaker 1: to teach you a lesson because you know, God has
- 6:25Speaker 1: a plan for you, He really really does, and eventually
- 6:29Speaker 1: he can use you no matter how old you are,
- 6:32Speaker 1: and he can use you no matter how young you are.
- 6:34Speaker 1: If you just say, Okay, I'm ready to hear your plan.
- 6:38Speaker 1: I've tried mine, mine ain't worked out. What's your plan
- 6:41Speaker 1: for me? God, what do you want me to do?
- 6:44Speaker 1: That's why I say every day Steve already got radio show, y'all,
- 6:47Speaker 1: Because man, I ain't see it coming. I didn't see
- 6:50Speaker 1: that coming. I ain't see this book coming. I ain't
- 6:52Speaker 1: seen I ain't seen it. Half of the amazing things
- 6:55Speaker 1: that are happened to me, I didn't plan them. I
- 6:58Speaker 1: was sitting there, man, asking God for some direction. And
- 7:02Speaker 1: then I got smart enough to stay watchful, be a
- 7:06Speaker 1: hard worker now because faithful, our works is dead, and
- 7:09Speaker 1: it came. And I remind you of this. God has
- 7:11Speaker 1: given all of you a gift. Every last one of
- 7:14Speaker 1: you listening has a gift. God has never created a
- 7:17Speaker 1: soul that he did not provide a gift to. God
- 7:20Speaker 1: gives everyone a gift, and a gift is not just singing,
- 7:24Speaker 1: rapping entertainment. The richer gifts are much more than that.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Teachers are gifted people who really have the gift of
- 7:32Speaker 1: sharing information. That's a gift, you know, and in that
- 7:37Speaker 1: you can become great. You know a lot of people
- 7:43Speaker 1: people think that successful and greatness is the same thing.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Cornell West said it at my daughter's graduation. He was
- 7:50Speaker 1: a spokesperson. He says something so pointed. He said, don't
- 7:53Speaker 1: ever confuse success with greatness. The two have nothing to
- 7:58Speaker 1: do with each other. See people determined success about money
- 8:01Speaker 1: and fame and all this here, but greatness. Greatness ain't
- 8:05Speaker 1: got nothing to do with your money. It ain't got
- 8:07Speaker 1: nothing to do with your fame. It's how you conduct
- 8:10Speaker 1: your life. It's how meaningful and significant you become in
- 8:14Speaker 1: your community, at your church, on your job, to the
- 8:18Speaker 1: cub Scout unit that you run, to the little girls
- 8:21Speaker 1: lives that you change, that that little center in the hood.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Who are you just one place of hope to so
- 8:27Speaker 1: many people and they come back. And I used example
- 8:30Speaker 1: of lou Danzler who passed away in LA who had
- 8:32Speaker 1: the Boys and Girls Challenges Club out in LA. And
- 8:35Speaker 1: he wasn't a rich man at all, and if you
- 8:38Speaker 1: walk by him, you wouldn't even know who he was.
- 8:40Speaker 1: But if you look at all the people who have
- 8:42Speaker 1: gone on to become politicians, who have gone on to
- 8:45Speaker 1: become CEO's, who have gone on to become athletes, that
- 8:49Speaker 1: have passed through this man's small building in the hood
- 8:52Speaker 1: in La, he was a great trust me man prad
- 8:57Speaker 1: changes things. I said all the time. But when you
- 8:59Speaker 1: see people become successful or great, that somebody praying somewhere
- 9:03Speaker 1: may not even beat them. Maybe it's day mama. You know,
- 9:06Speaker 1: I think of Tiger Woods and all the greatness he's accomplished.
- 9:09Speaker 1: You know they always talk about as farther than all
- 9:12Speaker 1: this here, somebody somewhere praying for Tiger Woods. I got
- 9:16Speaker 1: cash money riding on that Tiger Woods. Mama is a
- 9:19Speaker 1: praying woman or something. My mother was. She prayed me
- 9:22Speaker 1: into this place because she should call me all the time.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Praying for your boy and prayer changes things, It really does.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Try it today. It can change you. It has changed
- 9:33Speaker 1: millions of people. Open up yourself to the greatness that's
- 9:36Speaker 1: in you because God is giving you a gift mat
- 9:39Speaker 1: the fact that you ain't using it. Who fought you
- 9:41Speaker 1: think that is? I'm just telling you you got one,
- 9:44Speaker 1: and if you start praying about it, it'll manifest itself
- 9:49Speaker 1: and you can become one or two things, successful or
- 9:52Speaker 1: great or both. You can make the decision. Today you're
- 9:59Speaker 1: say m morning, ladies and gentlemen. Here it is the
- 10:04Speaker 1: start of a new day. Praise God for that. Thank
- 10:07Speaker 1: you Lord, a new day. I thanked him already, but
- 10:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna do it again. Just as a reminder to
- 10:13Speaker 1: all of us. Gratitude affects your altitude, which is a
- 10:17Speaker 1: direct correlation with your altitude. Thank you. Do you want
- 10:21Speaker 1: me to start very calling for real? Mouth to the south,
- 10:25Speaker 1: Junior and me and me? What's going on? Man? No? No, no,
- 10:33Speaker 1: I just me and me. Only what you got for
- 10:40Speaker 1: me today, Junior? You know what up? Man? We had
- 10:43Speaker 1: so many conversations. I was reminded something, Man. I just
- 10:45Speaker 1: looked back over my career and I thought about it. Man.
- 10:48Speaker 1: We was in la and we was in your office
- 10:50Speaker 1: and you sat down, we was talking, and you spoke
- 10:52Speaker 1: about speaking the language of success, man, and how important
- 10:56Speaker 1: that is to my career. Just tell people how you
- 10:59Speaker 1: look at spe in this language of success and everything
- 11:02Speaker 1: that you do. It's the language of affirmation. That's the
- 11:05Speaker 1: only only language that I choose to speak. I speak
- 11:10Speaker 1: what I want to receive. I speak what I expectations,
- 11:18Speaker 1: and I speak results into my life. Because you have
- 11:23Speaker 1: to understand the words that come out of your mouth
- 11:25Speaker 1: and the thoughts that come out of your head works
- 11:27Speaker 1: exactly the way the remote control works on your television set.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Oh lord, he would go. Now see the remote control
- 11:36Speaker 1: concept was taken from the Bible. The Bible says a
- 11:40Speaker 1: man is as he thinking. So man took that concept
- 11:46Speaker 1: and created the remote. They even have the remote now
- 11:50Speaker 1: where you can hit the microphone and you can say
- 11:54Speaker 1: what you want and guess what, that's what your TV does.
- 11:59Speaker 1: You can press it in the button and press okay,
- 12:02Speaker 1: and that's what your TV does. Where do you think
- 12:05Speaker 1: they got that from? They got from the concept in
- 12:08Speaker 1: the Bible that a man is as he thinking. That
- 12:12Speaker 1: remote control to your TV is affirmation. If SportsCenter's channel
- 12:20Speaker 1: two sixty eight and you press two sixty eight and
- 12:23Speaker 1: you press okay, you expect SportsCenter to appear on your
- 12:29Speaker 1: television set, guess what comes on your TV? Sports Center.
- 12:35Speaker 1: So you've you've got to learn how to speak the
- 12:39Speaker 1: language of affirmation in your life. I will succeed. I
- 12:44Speaker 1: will be able to handle whatever besets me. I am
- 12:48Speaker 1: good at problem solving. I will get through this. And
- 12:52Speaker 1: then on the days where it's rough, you have prayer.
- 12:57Speaker 1: But if you use prayer on the day as when
- 13:00Speaker 1: it's good and don't wait until it's rough, you now
- 13:05Speaker 1: have once formed a relationship. Come on, doctor man, and
- 13:09Speaker 1: when you got this relationship with God, I don't want
- 13:13Speaker 1: when something happened bad to me that I have to
- 13:16Speaker 1: introduce myself to God. I want him to already have
- 13:20Speaker 1: been talking to me about gratitude and everything. So when
- 13:23Speaker 1: I come for some help, I'm familiar. Yes, right, don't
- 13:27Speaker 1: wait till midnight of affirmation. All right, thank you? Let
- 13:34Speaker 1: the church say amen. Amen, heymen, coming up at thirty
- 13:39Speaker 1: two minutes after the hour, we'll have a junior in
- 13:42Speaker 1: for the nephew to run that prank back right after this.
- 13:45Speaker 1: You're listening to show and it's time now to start
- 13:49Speaker 1: your morning off with run that prank back, junior. What
- 13:52Speaker 1: you got, I'll tell you what I got, Shirley, Me
- 13:55Speaker 1: and my Jesus, Me and my Jesus. Come on, cat, Hello,
- 14:02Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach your sister. How you doing. I'm
- 14:07Speaker 1: giving you a call on behalf of Baptist Church. You
- 14:11Speaker 1: are a member there? Am I right? I am? Okay, listen,
- 14:15Speaker 1: I'm calling you. They are Some of the members have
- 14:18Speaker 1: gotten together and had a meeting and wanted me to
- 14:21Speaker 1: give you a call. It seems that a lot of
- 14:25Speaker 1: them are complaining about Sunday services that go on and
- 14:30Speaker 1: wanted for me to give you a call on their behalf.
- 14:33Speaker 1: So that we can see if we can address the
- 14:35Speaker 1: problem and talk to you diligently as possible and try
- 14:38Speaker 1: to get the problem rectified. What's going on, Well, it
- 14:42Speaker 1: seems like that a lot of members are complaining I'm sorry,
- 14:48Speaker 1: and what is your name against my name is man,
- 14:52Speaker 1: I'm not actually a member of the church. I've just
- 14:54Speaker 1: been the one that they've been asked to give you
- 14:56Speaker 1: a call and try to talk on the members behalf,
- 14:58Speaker 1: so maybe we can get this problem rectify that you
- 15:01Speaker 1: that they have as far as you are concerned, Now, okay,
- 15:05Speaker 1: go ahead. What I'm just trying to see what this
- 15:06Speaker 1: is in regards to go ahead, Well, it seems like
- 15:09Speaker 1: the members of the church are complaining about that you're
- 15:12Speaker 1: doing too much shouting at church on Sunday, and it
- 15:17Speaker 1: seems to be going on every Sunday. You're running up
- 15:19Speaker 1: and down the aisle and you're shouting all over the place,
- 15:22Speaker 1: and it's me I've been singled out about my shouting.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Is that what you're saying, wellever Dinny's distracting, man, You're
- 15:30Speaker 1: distracting everyone from me getting the word and listening to
- 15:32Speaker 1: the word and being involved in the service. And that's
- 15:35Speaker 1: the purpose of the call is to see if we
- 15:37Speaker 1: can get you to tone it down some. Okay, So
- 15:40Speaker 1: the whole church is complaining about me shouting the way
- 15:42Speaker 1: people run up and down them off every Sunday and
- 15:46Speaker 1: almost saying cart wheels and flips, and they singling me.
- 15:49Speaker 1: I complained about me. Well, ma'am, I don't know how
- 15:52Speaker 1: it is that you can see everybody else doing cart
- 15:54Speaker 1: wheels when you're the ones that they say is the
- 15:56Speaker 1: one that's doing them. Am I being singled out? Man?
- 16:00Speaker 1: All I'm saying is that they're saying that you're doing
- 16:03Speaker 1: too much shouting and too much running at this church. Now,
- 16:05Speaker 1: I'm just the message. Say what. They can't tell me
- 16:08Speaker 1: how to shout, They don't. They can't tell me what's
- 16:10Speaker 1: going on in my life? What's gonna keep me from
- 16:12Speaker 1: praising God? And they I mean, they could go somewhere
- 16:15Speaker 1: else with that, but they're not gonna tell me that
- 16:17Speaker 1: I can't praise my God. They don't know how good
- 16:20Speaker 1: God it's being to me. And you know what, I
- 16:22Speaker 1: understand that I agree with you wholeheartedly, but it's becoming
- 16:26Speaker 1: a distraction. I mean, they was at the point last
- 16:28Speaker 1: night talking about should we put some seatbelts on the pews,
- 16:32Speaker 1: so so you can stay down, we stay well to
- 16:34Speaker 1: put some seat. But how they gonna tell people they
- 16:36Speaker 1: can't shout in church and brace God? What do we
- 16:38Speaker 1: come to church for? Well? You do come to We
- 16:41Speaker 1: need to be trying to praise God and get they
- 16:42Speaker 1: all shout on and stop looking at me and avery
- 16:44Speaker 1: about what I'm doing. Were gonna need you to quit
- 16:47Speaker 1: running up and down these aisles and doing what you go.
- 16:49Speaker 1: I'm sorry, you know, I'm trying to stay calm. I'm
- 16:52Speaker 1: trying my best. Who Jesus chief sir that that's not happening.
- 16:57Speaker 1: You can't tell me I gotta stop shouting? Okay, man,
- 17:00Speaker 1: But let me ask you, are you running now? Aren't
- 17:02Speaker 1: you just standing still? Talking? But I don't have to
- 17:04Speaker 1: run right now? What I'm trying to get you to do?
- 17:07Speaker 1: If I want to run up and down this street
- 17:09Speaker 1: right now, I can run up and down the street
- 17:10Speaker 1: and place God. But they're not gonna tell me to
- 17:12Speaker 1: stop tchouting at church? Can we get you to be
- 17:14Speaker 1: a little bit more reserved as what we see? Man?
- 17:17Speaker 1: Let me let me go ahead and go further on
- 17:18Speaker 1: what they do the spirit moves? Okay, Well, let me
- 17:23Speaker 1: move and tell you what they've told me. Now, if
- 17:27Speaker 1: we can't get to the point where you can, you know,
- 17:29Speaker 1: tone it down, then we may have to ask you
- 17:32Speaker 1: to leave them. Ask me, Jesus, Jesus, you let them
- 17:39Speaker 1: ask me. Why don't they want me to leave the church.
- 17:42Speaker 1: I've been at that church for fifteen years. I'm not
- 17:45Speaker 1: leaving the church. I'm gonna run up and down. I'm
- 17:47Speaker 1: not gonna run on the church. I ain't even turn
- 17:49Speaker 1: me where I feel like it. Now, listen, that's all
- 17:54Speaker 1: I'm okay, go ahead, but I'm gonna be there. I'm
- 17:56Speaker 1: going to I am going to be there on Sunday. Man,
- 17:59Speaker 1: and I have been the person that's been appointed to
- 18:02Speaker 1: make sure that you're not running up and down these
- 18:04Speaker 1: house and shotting like this. You got to keep yourself
- 18:07Speaker 1: reserved so people can hear the word of God. You
- 18:09Speaker 1: are standing in people's word. That's what you're doing. You're
- 18:12Speaker 1: in the whale. If they come trying to send me down,
- 18:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna get him a word and it ain't gonna
- 18:16Speaker 1: be your God. So let him put that hands up
- 18:18Speaker 1: on me here now, listen, I'm telling you that. Now
- 18:21Speaker 1: you could say I haven't been in that church fifteen years.
- 18:24Speaker 1: If I want to run, dance, shout, jump, un whatever
- 18:27Speaker 1: I want to do, I'm gonna do it. It ain't
- 18:29Speaker 1: nobody gonna stop me. You're gonna have to stop this.
- 18:31Speaker 1: This past Sunday was your last Sunday doing it, and
- 18:34Speaker 1: you're not gonna do with this Sunday. Like I said,
- 18:37Speaker 1: just why let and I'm telling you could tell the
- 18:39Speaker 1: I don't choose the deacon void. The deacon asked the
- 18:41Speaker 1: minister's wives or who all asks you want to tell?
- 18:44Speaker 1: Let him put their hands on me and see if
- 18:45Speaker 1: I don't sling on them, I'm gonna come run about
- 18:47Speaker 1: the spirit and swing on it. I'm telling you that
- 18:50Speaker 1: now because he said you can really push me on
- 18:52Speaker 1: and tried on and try. Let me ask you this here. Well,
- 18:55Speaker 1: you're trying to show that I'm saved and never but
- 18:58Speaker 1: you make it you if you're making me revert back
- 19:00Speaker 1: to my own ways and you you ran me out,
- 19:02Speaker 1: that's what you're gonna do. Okay, Well, let me ask
- 19:04Speaker 1: you this, where is the God at right now? And
- 19:07Speaker 1: you where's the one that say, yeah, it was the
- 19:10Speaker 1: God was in me when I was trying to be
- 19:12Speaker 1: called with you at first to tell you don't be
- 19:13Speaker 1: calling me with this foolishness. But now you have to
- 19:16Speaker 1: make the other sign of me roll he's up. Well,
- 19:17Speaker 1: you wouldn't raise it up in You wouldn't raise it
- 19:20Speaker 1: up in me too. Guess what come signing? You're gonna
- 19:22Speaker 1: set y'all in a pew and you ain't gonna you
- 19:25Speaker 1: know when you call yourself a man, because we can

- 20:12Speaker 1: really hitting my nerve. I got one more thing I
- 20:14Speaker 1: need to say to you, ladies. You better fan real
- 20:17Speaker 1: quick because you're gonna talk to this operator that's his
- 20:19Speaker 1: nephew timing from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just
- 20:24Speaker 1: got brank by your girl. You're not you know, oh,
- 20:31Speaker 1: I'm oh, I'm oh, I'm gonna kill but oh Lord
- 20:38Speaker 1: up here cursing on the part. Okay, Jesus, I got
- 20:40Speaker 1: one more thing, baby, Let me ask you something. What
- 20:43Speaker 1: is the baddest I'm talking about the baddest radio show
- 20:46Speaker 1: in the land? Ud Harvey Morning? There. You gonna shirt
- 20:51Speaker 1: me and my Jesus. All right, thank you, Junior coming
- 20:55Speaker 1: up next to his ass the cello Chief Love Officer
- 20:57Speaker 1: Steve Harvey in the building ready for you and your
- 21:01Speaker 1: love questions. Right after this, you're listening to the Stave
- 21:05Speaker 1: Morning Show coming up at the top of the hour.
- 21:09Speaker 1: In entertainment news, Jay Z and Beyonce are balling on
- 21:13Speaker 1: a big mega yacht vacation. I love it, I love it,
- 21:17Speaker 1: and Usher this is great news. Usher's Vegas, Vegas residency
- 21:21Speaker 1: has been renewed. Yes, Lord, thank you. More skating. That's
- 21:27Speaker 1: a superstar what he is. Plus in trending sports entertainment news,
- 21:33Speaker 1: Dennis Robin has changed his mind. He will not be
- 21:36Speaker 1: traveling to Russia to free Brittney Grinder. We'll tell you why.
- 21:40Speaker 1: We'll talk about all of these stories at the top
- 21:42Speaker 1: of the hour, but right now it is time to
- 21:44Speaker 1: ask the CLO that is Chief Love Officer, mister Steve Harvey.
- 21:50Speaker 1: All right. This one is from Patrina in Kalamazoo. Patrina writes,
- 21:55Speaker 1: I'm a forty four year old single mother and my
- 21:58Speaker 1: nineteen year old son is dating a seventeen year old girl.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Technically she is a minor, but very advanced for her age.
- 22:07Speaker 1: I heard her on FaceTime telling my son what she
- 22:09Speaker 1: wanted to do to him sexually. I wish he would
- 22:12Speaker 1: leave her alone, but he's not going to. How can
- 22:16Speaker 1: I reach him at this age? All I can tell
- 22:19Speaker 1: you is because it's difficult she talking to this boy
- 22:24Speaker 1: like this. It's hard for you to counter this conversation.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Talk to your son about protecting himself and protecting young lady.
- 22:33Speaker 1: If you could, well, this ain't gonna go good for you.
- 22:38Speaker 1: You gotta put some prayer on this situation, and you
- 22:40Speaker 1: got to talk to your son about responsibility and protecting
- 22:44Speaker 1: himself and the young lady and let him understand the
- 22:47Speaker 1: importance of that. And that's really other than prayer, what
- 22:53Speaker 1: you can do on it. Back in the day, you
- 22:56Speaker 1: could call the girl's parent parent to alert them to say, hey,
- 23:00Speaker 1: I want you to be aware of this situation. But
- 23:03Speaker 1: then you're doing your son a disservice if you do that,
- 23:07Speaker 1: because now the parents could get some ideas and they
- 23:09Speaker 1: head about the illegal thing that your son is doing
- 23:13Speaker 1: with the minor daughter. So you can't turn your son
- 23:16Speaker 1: in because people nowadays look for any kind of way
- 23:20Speaker 1: to get over. So that's my suggestion to you. And
- 23:25Speaker 1: hope this girl turned eighteen and a hurry, yeah, yeah,
- 23:30Speaker 1: all right. Moving on to a mirror indicator. A mirror says,
- 23:34Speaker 1: I'm getting a divorce, but my husband and I are
- 23:36Speaker 1: living together until we sell the house. He's moved on
- 23:40Speaker 1: and is dating a woman that worked at our daughter's school.
- 23:43Speaker 1: She comes to my house but never goes past the kitchen.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Should I keep acting like I don't care, or should
- 23:49Speaker 1: I ask him to be a little more considerate. Holy
- 23:52Speaker 1: wait a minute, wait a minute, you're getting a divorce.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Say yeah, they're getting a divorce. No no, no, no
- 23:59Speaker 1: no no no no no no no no no no
- 24:01Speaker 1: this heafer can't come in here. I mean, you know,
- 24:05Speaker 1: it ain't gonna come past the kitchen. No no no,
- 24:08Speaker 1: no no no no no no no no no no
- 24:11Speaker 1: no no. I don't know how that works. He got
- 24:15Speaker 1: he got a lot of gall he got it. He
- 24:17Speaker 1: got some guts. But I do believe this is your
- 24:21Speaker 1: house unless the judge says otherwise. Well it's her house
- 24:26Speaker 1: right now. No, yeah, until the divorce is final. No,
- 24:31Speaker 1: I think that's no no, no, what means? And I think, yeah,
- 24:36Speaker 1: and you ain't gotta talk. You can talk to him
- 24:38Speaker 1: about it, but you can tell her get out right right, Yeah,
- 24:43Speaker 1: turn your little ass round. Yeah I wish, I wish.
- 24:47Speaker 1: I wish I was getting a divorce and a man
- 24:51Speaker 1: came in my house. I wish to WHI Yeah she is,
- 25:02Speaker 1: she she knows better. She wouldn't want that to be
- 25:05Speaker 1: done to her, all right. Uh. Moving on to Lexius
- 25:08Speaker 1: and Raleigh, Steve Alexia said, I married my college sweetheart
- 25:14Speaker 1: and we had a short marriage. He got remarried and
- 25:17Speaker 1: after twelve years of marriage, he just got divorced. Now
- 25:21Speaker 1: he wants me back. I still love him, but I
- 25:24Speaker 1: cannot forget how he left me and had a family
- 25:27Speaker 1: with another woman at age forty. I'd love to get remarried,
- 25:32Speaker 1: But is he for real this time? Well? I don't know. Yeah,
- 25:39Speaker 1: how do I know? M But I'll tell you what.
- 25:42Speaker 1: If you haven't second thoughts, I wouldn't do it right, Uh, ladies.
- 25:48Speaker 1: That thing that you all have called intuition, intuition, it works, yeah,
- 25:55Speaker 1: especially on those red flags. It works as it does, Yes,
- 26:00Speaker 1: it works. Yeah yeah, And just because you're forty doesn't
- 26:06Speaker 1: mean you have to get remarried. Yeah yeah, I mean
- 26:15Speaker 1: she still loves him. But yeah, all right, thank you, Steve. Yeah,
- 26:20Speaker 1: do it, don't do it? All right? This is the
- 26:23Speaker 1: last one. This is the last one, ZERI and DC says.
- 26:27Speaker 1: My girlfriends and I went to a singles mixer and
- 26:31Speaker 1: I met the perfect guy. We went out on a
- 26:34Speaker 1: few dates, had sex, and now he's acting funny. I
- 26:40Speaker 1: told my girls in our group chat about how weird
- 26:44Speaker 1: he's acting, and one of them replied that he's texted
- 26:47Speaker 1: her and asked her out. We're not friends anymore. Should
- 26:51Speaker 1: I be mad at her? Or should I be mad
- 26:53Speaker 1: at him? What's you mad at her for? She told
- 26:56Speaker 1: you the truth. M M, wait a minute, what you're
- 27:00Speaker 1: mad at her for? They're not even friends anymore. Didn't
- 27:04Speaker 1: you just say he was acting funny? Yeah, hello, he's
- 27:09Speaker 1: not serious. You didn't wait to find out if he
- 27:12Speaker 1: was serious before you slept with him. You thought, like
- 27:17Speaker 1: a lot of people think, if I have sex with
- 27:20Speaker 1: this guy, he'll get serious with me. No, that's not
- 27:24Speaker 1: how it works, because when guys are just serious about sex,
- 27:30Speaker 1: then they're gonna have it way over and whenever they can.
- 27:33Speaker 1: It won't change until they serious about you. But you
- 27:39Speaker 1: think by giving him sex that will make him serious
- 27:42Speaker 1: about you. No, you know, get getting it right with
- 27:48Speaker 1: a man is almost as hard as losing weight. The comparison.
- 27:55Speaker 1: The comparison. I'm intrigued, cause you always got to figure
- 27:59Speaker 1: out out your micronutrients, to figure out what fits with
- 28:04Speaker 1: your body and your mind and your lifestyle in order
- 28:09Speaker 1: to keep a man or to lose the weight. But
- 28:12Speaker 1: you got to figure out the micro nutrients all the time.
- 28:16Speaker 1: And I be damned, ain't that hard to do? But
- 28:20Speaker 1: you have got to develop a sense, a set of
- 28:23Speaker 1: standards in order to go about it. And if a
- 28:26Speaker 1: man don't meet the standards, he can't get the cookie.
- 28:30Speaker 1: That's right, that's rule number one. But if you're praising
- 28:34Speaker 1: out cookie first, we win. Yeah. Yeah, So let me
- 28:38Speaker 1: ask you about this, Steve, so she can be clear.
- 28:41Speaker 1: And the women that listened to the show, she said,
- 28:44Speaker 1: one of them replied that he's texted her and asked
- 28:46Speaker 1: her out. We're not friends anymore. And now she wants
- 28:50Speaker 1: to know should she be mad at the woman? You
- 28:52Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, So no, Why are you made
- 28:55Speaker 1: at the woman? You put your stuff into group texts?
- 28:58Speaker 1: She put herself in the group tex, what's the matter?
- 29:02Speaker 1: Stop group texting? Man? Y'all? What's y'all? Y'all want to
- 29:07Speaker 1: know the truth? Dear, somebody tell you truth? Now you mad?
- 29:10Speaker 1: That's the truth? Free is no more? She dropped her friend. Yeah. See,
- 29:14Speaker 1: that's why. That's why I don't tell the truth. That's
- 29:16Speaker 1: why you lie. All right, thanks Cello. Coming up at
- 29:22Speaker 1: the top of the hour, we'll have some entertainment and
- 29:24Speaker 1: trending headline news for you. Right after this. You're listening
- 29:28Speaker 1: to morning show, Well, Beyonce and Jay Z are vacationing
- 29:35Speaker 1: right now. They're doing it on a mega yacht in
- 29:38Speaker 1: Europe near Croatia. The paparazzi managed to get shots to
- 29:42Speaker 1: both Jay and Bay taking pictures enjoying the fun in
- 29:46Speaker 1: the sun. And you can see their kids playing in
- 29:49Speaker 1: the pool with the nannies and the staff right there.
- 29:53Speaker 1: So here's a question for you, Steve, you and Marjorie
- 29:55Speaker 1: vacation on a mega yacht as well in Europe. M
- 30:00Speaker 1: So you know what, what are they experiencing. What are
- 30:03Speaker 1: some of the things they're doing. I mean, the yacht
- 30:05Speaker 1: is incredible. They I don't have any money. Yeah, it
- 30:14Speaker 1: ain't gonna be the same. Please send me the picture.
- 30:16Speaker 1: I know the boat, but now whether I can get
- 30:21Speaker 1: the boat. I could get the boat, but we're not
- 30:24Speaker 1: gonna be able to go shopping or eat, but we
- 30:31Speaker 1: won't pull out of port. Yeah, send me a picture
- 30:37Speaker 1: of the boat. But if they're coming down Croatia, I
- 30:39Speaker 1: know that exact rounde. I've done that before. It's absolutely beautiful.
- 30:43Speaker 1: We boarded in Venice and came down the coast of Croatia.
- 30:47Speaker 1: That's actually it's wonderful when you go because you can
- 30:51Speaker 1: go see where they shoot Game or Throne. Oh that
- 30:56Speaker 1: big castle, whether dragon killed the lady and all that. Yeah,
- 31:02Speaker 1: all that's up there. Wow, did you do that as
- 31:07Speaker 1: much as you loved Game of Thrones? Way too many
- 31:11Speaker 1: people up there, Oh a lot of Yeah, I was
- 31:15Speaker 1: looking from the vote you're expected. Oh yeah, hey, I
- 31:22Speaker 1: got off and went to a watch store. I can't
- 31:26Speaker 1: imagine J and B walking through that. I can't imagine.
- 31:30Speaker 1: I love the kids, and the kids have their nannies.
- 31:33Speaker 1: I love all of that. So mom and dad can
- 31:35Speaker 1: have some fun. Yeah, all right, uh and other entertainment.
- 31:41Speaker 1: News can't get too much of a good thing. Usher
- 31:44Speaker 1: Usher Baby has extended his Vegas run until twenty twenty three,
- 31:49Speaker 1: and additional twenty five dates have been added, extending his
- 31:53Speaker 1: Veggas stay into next summer. The run of twenty five
- 31:56Speaker 1: news shows begins March March third of next year. So
- 32:01Speaker 1: that's really really good news because everybody says the show
- 32:04Speaker 1: is awesome. The skate, I mean, everything that he has
- 32:08Speaker 1: is phenomenal, and if you haven't had a chance to
- 32:12Speaker 1: see it, like me, now you have a chance. Now
- 32:16Speaker 1: you have a chance to go check him out. In
- 32:17Speaker 1: Vega's Okay, Yeah, I want to go Moss Monica, husband,
- 32:24Speaker 1: but we haven't seen it. Yeah, we got to make
- 32:26Speaker 1: that a girl's trip for sure, because we love us
- 32:28Speaker 1: a musha. We do. Uh. And In trending viral sports news,
- 32:35Speaker 1: former NBA star Dennis Rodman recently announced that he was
- 32:38Speaker 1: going to Russia to help freew NBA star Brittany Griner.
- 32:42Speaker 1: But it turns out that the Biden administration is not
- 32:45Speaker 1: down with his plan at all, and now Dennis Rodman
- 32:48Speaker 1: will not be going to Russia. Okay. When asked about
- 32:52Speaker 1: his plan during a pre press briefing, the State Department
- 32:56Speaker 1: spokesman Ned Price said it was important to keep negotiation
- 33:00Speaker 1: for Griner's release within the quote unquote established channel to
- 33:04Speaker 1: avoid complicating matters. The State Department has a Level four
- 33:08Speaker 1: do not travel to Russia advisory in place due to
- 33:11Speaker 1: the nation's conflict um with the Ukraine and I mean
- 33:15Speaker 1: with Russia. So they don't want Dennis to go because
- 33:20Speaker 1: of that. Yeah, they looked and Dennis bag say, no,
- 33:24Speaker 1: I don't take your ass over them even get you angry.
- 33:31Speaker 1: Then well, it's it's a couple of things that play.
- 33:35Speaker 1: I'm not sure that Dennis has the relationship with Wooded
- 33:39Speaker 1: he thinks he has, because no one has. Yeah. And
- 33:44Speaker 1: then number there's another thing, if there was any chance
- 33:49Speaker 1: of him being successful, it would make the Biden administration
- 33:53Speaker 1: look horribly bad. Yeah. Yeah. And then because he could
- 33:58Speaker 1: do what they could what they were unable to be. Oh, absolutely,
- 34:02Speaker 1: they're worried about that. Hell y, this woman. They don't
- 34:06Speaker 1: no no, no, no no, they want to free hut
- 34:08Speaker 1: they can't have it go some other way. But then
- 34:11Speaker 1: I'm just saying these are things that's on the table
- 34:14Speaker 1: that they're up there discussion our bet. And also it's
- 34:17Speaker 1: the four who traveling the Russia right now, right level
- 34:22Speaker 1: four do not travel to Russia. And I mean, come on, man,
- 34:26Speaker 1: m you know I'm I got I'm friends with Putin?
- 34:30Speaker 1: What you wore last time you talked to him? Dinner?
- 34:33Speaker 1: Mess rounding your ass? Gonna be over that with huh
- 34:36Speaker 1: his friends with Putin? Man? What No, your friends with
- 34:42Speaker 1: some messed up people though dictators? Yeah? People, come on, Yeah,
- 34:49Speaker 1: so I think once but then he said he had
- 34:52Speaker 1: permission to go, But the Biden he never know from
- 34:55Speaker 1: whom who gave him permission? Who did he ask? I
- 34:59Speaker 1: never was clear on that. Facts surely. All right. Finally
- 35:05Speaker 1: when he talked to Poop, yeah, you know, now met
- 35:09Speaker 1: they went over there. I hope he could get this
- 35:11Speaker 1: girl out. Yeah. And then sometimes governments like that to
- 35:15Speaker 1: do stuff to embarrass the ugly government. But I think
- 35:20Speaker 1: they're holding Britney grinning. I think this Russian arms dealer
- 35:24Speaker 1: has a lot to do with this. I don't know. Yeah.
- 35:27Speaker 1: One thing about foreign policy is change. We as Americans
- 35:31Speaker 1: are not allowed to vote or know anything about for
- 35:34Speaker 1: a policy. All right, final story, Um, we've all seen
- 35:39Speaker 1: this horrific viral video of three Arkansas law enforcement officers
- 35:42Speaker 1: punching and kicking a homeless man. Well, cops were called
- 35:45Speaker 1: to a small town convenience store gas station right outside
- 35:48Speaker 1: of Little Rock because a homeless man allegedly threatened the
- 35:51Speaker 1: story's clerk. The two Crawford County sheriff's departments seen on
- 35:55Speaker 1: the video have been suspended and all so another one
- 36:00Speaker 1: has been put on administrative leaves. The federal authorities say
- 36:04Speaker 1: they've started a civil rights violation investigation. Thank god. All right,
- 36:08Speaker 1: coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have
- 36:10Speaker 1: more of a Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 36:13Speaker 1: You're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show. According to
- 36:17Speaker 1: MSN dot com, a Georgia's Special Prosecutor announced that murder
- 36:21Speaker 1: and assault charges will be dismissed against two Atlanta police
- 36:26Speaker 1: officers involved in the fatal shooting of Rachchard Brooks back
- 36:30Speaker 1: in June of twenty twenty, saying the officers acted reasonably
- 36:34Speaker 1: in response to a deadly threat. Special prosecutor said that
- 36:38Speaker 1: both officers acted in accordance with well established law and
- 36:43Speaker 1: were justified in the use of force regarding the situation.
- 36:48Speaker 1: Raychard Brooks, if you recall, was shot and killed outside
- 36:51Speaker 1: of Wendy's Restaurant after he fought two officers who tried
- 36:55Speaker 1: to arrest him for DUI. During the struggle, Brooks over
- 37:00Speaker 1: howard the officers and ran away. According to prosecutors, while running,
- 37:04Speaker 1: he turned back and fired the stolen taser. The officers
- 37:09Speaker 1: then shot Brooks twice in the back twice in the buttocks,
- 37:12Speaker 1: killing him now. If you recall, This fatal shooting happened
- 37:16Speaker 1: less than three weeks after the police killing of George
- 37:19Speaker 1: Floyd and Minneapolis, which sparked protests across Atlanta and beyond
- 37:24Speaker 1: amid national demonstration demonstrations over police brutality and racial injustice.
- 37:29Speaker 1: In Atlanta, the Wendy's restaurant was set on fire, Hundreds
- 37:33Speaker 1: blocked a major intersection, authorities fired tear gas, and the
- 37:37Speaker 1: police chief stepped down. That's a lie. It's a whole
- 37:42Speaker 1: whole lot of stuff going on with this police brutality
- 37:46Speaker 1: oftentimes get away with. Look, if a police officer says
- 37:51Speaker 1: I fear for my life, if that's they constant loophole,
- 37:56Speaker 1: or if they're gonna use it was within our rights,
- 38:00Speaker 1: then that's a whole another loophole. I just don't know
- 38:03Speaker 1: when it's in your right to kill a person. And
- 38:06Speaker 1: because they all say they like they felt their life
- 38:09Speaker 1: in danger, every time you have a case that's to
- 38:12Speaker 1: go to line, they're protected. I forgot what that law is,
- 38:17Speaker 1: but they're protected too, and so I think what it's done.
- 38:20Speaker 1: It gives a lot of officers, not a few. It
- 38:23Speaker 1: gives a lot of officers a badge to behave badly.
- 38:28Speaker 1: Just gonna have to start being some stronger ramification for
- 38:32Speaker 1: police officers who step outside the bounds. And we need
- 38:36Speaker 1: to look at these laws that protect police officers because
- 38:40Speaker 1: if the citizens who paid taxes don't get to benefit
- 38:44Speaker 1: from the same laws. Then how they get to do it.
- 38:47Speaker 1: If you're paid to serve and protect, you're not paid
- 38:50Speaker 1: to judge and jury and issue out punishment. That's not
- 38:54Speaker 1: what you're paid to do. And I just watch in
- 38:57Speaker 1: other countries that how they subdue people and get people
- 39:01Speaker 1: into custody. It's very different than here. Yeah, yeah, and
- 39:05Speaker 1: we need all right, yeah, all right, Steve, we're gonna
- 39:09Speaker 1: move on and switch gears here. Thank you for that.
- 39:12Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour, We're
- 39:14Speaker 1: gonna check Steve's voicemail at eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve,
- 39:18Speaker 1: that's coming up right after this. You're listening Steve Hardy
- 39:23Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, Steve, it's time to check your voicemail.
- 39:28Speaker 1: If you want to leave Steve a voicemail, call um
- 39:30Speaker 1: eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve,
- 39:34Speaker 1: let's go to the first caller. Her name is Michelle.
- 39:36Speaker 1: She's from Greenville, Mississippi. Hey, Steve, my name is Michelle.
- 39:41Speaker 1: I'm from Greenville, Mississippi. I was driving and listening to
- 39:44Speaker 1: your closing remarks and it almost brought me to tears.
- 39:48Speaker 1: I had this exact same conversation your closing remarks mentioned
- 39:52Speaker 1: with my son yesterday, and I googled him, and I
- 39:55Speaker 1: hope it's somewhere online that he can actually listen to
- 39:58Speaker 1: let him know it's just not me hooking. That it
- 40:01Speaker 1: is true statements that are from people you don't even
- 40:03Speaker 1: know in person. But I thank you for that, and
- 40:06Speaker 1: I pray that my son listens to that message, because Steve,
- 40:09Speaker 1: he is so lost. He's only twenty two, and I
- 40:12Speaker 1: believe I'm about to lose my chiut. But thank you
- 40:14Speaker 1: so very much. Thank you. Bye. I believe you're talking
- 40:18Speaker 1: about the one with pastor Will, the one that we
- 40:21Speaker 1: played the phone called the other day, and you followed
- 40:24Speaker 1: up with that talking about God, and it was very
- 40:27Speaker 1: moving what you were saying. So I believe this is
- 40:30Speaker 1: what Miss Michelle from Mississippi was referring to. Well, thank you,
- 40:33Speaker 1: but keep praying for your son though he ain't totally lost.
- 40:36Speaker 1: Don't ever give up on prayer. Prayer changes things, Prayer
- 40:40Speaker 1: change people too. That's right, all right, Steve. As we
- 40:45Speaker 1: move on, this caller needs some relationship advice about trusting
- 40:49Speaker 1: a cheating husband, will say Steve, hoping for some information
- 40:55Speaker 1: and advice from you. I was how victim of infidelity.
- 41:00Speaker 1: I'm not going to say a victim. I'm gonna say
- 41:02Speaker 1: my husband cheated on me. I'll just say that. And
- 41:06Speaker 1: it's been several years and I decided to stay and
- 41:10Speaker 1: we're working it out, but I just don't trust them.
- 41:13Speaker 1: Can you give me some advice on how I can
- 41:16Speaker 1: start trusting to my husband again. I really love them,
- 41:19Speaker 1: I want us to stay together, but I just don't
- 41:23Speaker 1: trust them, and I really want to thank you. Well,
- 41:27Speaker 1: I don't know the exact answer to that, to be
- 41:30Speaker 1: honest with you, because there's so many particulars when you
- 41:33Speaker 1: get into things like this, but one thing is if
- 41:39Speaker 1: your husband's behavior has changed, then it could mean it's
- 41:43Speaker 1: been a change in him. Now, if you're going to
- 41:47Speaker 1: hang on to these feelings that you have, there's nothing
- 41:52Speaker 1: I or anybody else can do, because if you're going
- 41:55Speaker 1: to stay in that feeling for whatever the reason, now,
- 41:59Speaker 1: you may be very legitimizing that feeling now because that
- 42:03Speaker 1: maybe you seeing a reoccurring pattern which causing you not
- 42:08Speaker 1: to fully trust again, or maybe your intuition is telling
- 42:12Speaker 1: you something is still happening even though you see a
- 42:15Speaker 1: little bit of change. See, I don't know what that is,
- 42:19Speaker 1: so I really can't advise you on this. But you
- 42:23Speaker 1: cannot live your life in an untrusting atmosphere. You just can't.
- 42:30Speaker 1: That's hard to do for anybody, to keep walking in
- 42:36Speaker 1: a door into a home. That's not a peaceful existence
- 42:41Speaker 1: for you. And I got you wanted to work. But
- 42:45Speaker 1: you gotta ask yourself a couple of questions. It's this,
- 42:49Speaker 1: my soul mate, you got you gotta ask yourself that
- 42:53Speaker 1: am I staying in this simply because I've been in it?
- 42:56Speaker 1: Because a lot of people don't want to leave a
- 42:58Speaker 1: relationship because the time they have invested in it. Right,
- 43:02Speaker 1: And then I always ask people the same question, Well,
- 43:05Speaker 1: I've been with him eight years and if I just
- 43:08Speaker 1: leave it all be for nothing. Well to man, ask
- 43:10Speaker 1: you this question, do you want eight more years of
- 43:12Speaker 1: the previous eight years? You got to ask that question too, Yes, man,
- 43:18Speaker 1: I can't. Yeah, time, yeah, yeah, you hang on to
- 43:22Speaker 1: that time instead of hanging on to what you want
- 43:25Speaker 1: or what you deserve. But but on the other side
- 43:29Speaker 1: of that, Steve, with just a few seconds left, if
- 43:32Speaker 1: he if he has cheated, can he change his ways? Absolutely? Women?
- 43:38Speaker 1: Have you all up spreading bad information. Once a cheatah,
- 43:41Speaker 1: always a Cheatah. That's not true. People change and get
- 43:46Speaker 1: it right all the time. Once a thief don't make
- 43:49Speaker 1: you always a thief. Okay, all right, I just wanted
- 43:52Speaker 1: you to point that out. A hold on real quick,
- 43:56Speaker 1: like that dude on TikTok said, just because calls I
- 44:00Speaker 1: cheated one time, I'm a cheater if I cut your
- 44:04Speaker 1: hair one time in my ball Yeah all right, now,
- 44:11Speaker 1: all right, okay, all right, Coming up next our prank
- 44:16Speaker 1: phone call for it today. Right after this, you're listening
- 44:19Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the top
- 44:24Speaker 1: of the hour right about four minutes after. It's my
- 44:27Speaker 1: strawberry letter for today and the subject is traditional ways
- 44:31Speaker 1: for me. We'll find out what that's about. But right now,
- 44:35Speaker 1: Junior is in for the nephew with today's prank phone call.
- 44:38Speaker 1: What you got for its Junior? Now, I'm not saying it,
- 44:41Speaker 1: but the nephew eats Stay's prank is what must Sun
- 44:46Speaker 1: because you need to know you hate no Okay, you
- 44:50Speaker 1: you see your friend you talk about father son that
- 44:53Speaker 1: you bring him out and everybody knows is turned up
- 44:56Speaker 1: must Sun. It's day's frank, Okay, bag. Hello. Hello, I'm
- 45:03Speaker 1: trying to reach Vanessa. Please. My name is Robert. I'm
- 45:08Speaker 1: the one of the owners. You know, my wife Michelle.
- 45:11Speaker 1: We own the Baycare. Yeah, how can I help you? Okay,
- 45:16Speaker 1: we've been uh I think we've had your son, Malik,
- 45:18Speaker 1: probably close to a year now. I'm all right, yes
- 45:21Speaker 1: you have is everything? Okay? So everything's fine, Everything is fine.
- 45:24Speaker 1: I don't think we have a problem that we can't
- 45:26Speaker 1: clear up. I have a question for you. Have you
- 45:29Speaker 1: been noticing anything different about Malik? Um, like concerning hygiene
- 45:35Speaker 1: at all? Hygiene? No, not that I can be called.
- 45:39Speaker 1: What are you talking about? Okay? How old is Malik?
- 45:42Speaker 1: He's too? Okay, Well, we all soon have come across
- 45:46Speaker 1: a little glitch here that we're gonna try to take
- 45:48Speaker 1: care of here at the at the daycare. Actually my
- 45:51Speaker 1: wife didn't. I told her I would make the phone
- 45:53Speaker 1: call and leave her out of it. I know you
- 45:55Speaker 1: see her every day. One. Yeah, what are you talking about?
- 45:58Speaker 1: What what is this glitch? I'm sorry, glitch? What is
- 46:01Speaker 1: this glitch that you want to talk about? I'm confused. Okay. Well,
- 46:04Speaker 1: actually what we're having is it seems like every day
- 46:08Speaker 1: here lately for the last two months, Malik has been
- 46:12Speaker 1: you know, very musty. You know, he hasn't been really sweaty,
- 46:16Speaker 1: but just real musty. Okay, you clearly have the wrong
- 46:19Speaker 1: child because I give my son a bath every night,
- 46:22Speaker 1: and most Martin is before he leaves to school, I
- 46:24Speaker 1: give another bath again. So yeah, I'm pretty positive you
- 46:27Speaker 1: have the wrong child. Oh man, your son is Malik, right,
- 46:30Speaker 1: and he's two years old. You guys have been here
- 46:32Speaker 1: with us right close to a year now, correct, yes,
- 46:36Speaker 1: and okay, and he's a cute little kid with the
- 46:39Speaker 1: curly hair. I know exactly which one is. So what
- 46:42Speaker 1: I'm what I'm saying to you is that we are
- 46:44Speaker 1: having problems. He's just he's just reeking. You know, he's
- 46:47Speaker 1: real musty. Okay, you know what my son does not reek.
- 46:50Speaker 1: I don't know what child you're talking about, but you're
- 46:52Speaker 1: not talking about my child. I just told you and
- 46:54Speaker 1: make sure that he gets a bath every night, So
- 46:56Speaker 1: that's not my child. My child is very clean. Okay.
- 46:59Speaker 1: Well on, Vanessa, What I'm trying to get you to
- 47:01Speaker 1: understand is I'm trying to this is why my wife
- 47:03Speaker 1: didn't want to call. Okay, and I'm glad I'm actually
- 47:06Speaker 1: the one that made the call. What we need to do.
- 47:08Speaker 1: This is what I'm gonna do. I'm just gonna try
- 47:10Speaker 1: a little experiment for the next month or so. Experiment. No, no,
- 47:14Speaker 1: I'm sorry. Well what do you mean experiment? What kind
- 47:16Speaker 1: of experiment? Well, what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna
- 47:18Speaker 1: put some male deodorant on him for the next well
- 47:22Speaker 1: just for the next month, and we'll see how it
- 47:24Speaker 1: plays out. No, no, no, you're not You're not gonna
- 47:25Speaker 1: put anything on my child. That's not gonna happen. Okay, Well, man,
- 47:28Speaker 1: I'm trying to I'm trying to fix the problem here.
- 47:31Speaker 1: I just wanted to call it doesn't have a problem.
- 47:33Speaker 1: I'm already told you that my son is clean. You're
- 47:35Speaker 1: not gonna put any coment on him, and if you do,
- 47:37Speaker 1: it's going to be a problem. Do you understand me? Okay, man,
- 47:40Speaker 1: I'm not trying to have an argument with you. What
- 47:42Speaker 1: I want you to know is I'm not trying to
- 47:44Speaker 1: argument either. But you're trying to talking about putting Theodora
- 47:47Speaker 1: on my child. You can't do that. I'm not gonna
- 47:50Speaker 1: have to happen in Please don't make me have to
- 47:51Speaker 1: come that to that school for you and your wife. Okay,
- 47:54Speaker 1: now listen, we're gonna have to do something about your child.
- 47:57Speaker 1: Your child is musty, okay, And you say you're getting
- 48:00Speaker 1: an attitude with me, and I'm trying to let you
- 48:02Speaker 1: know your child is not nonsense. Maybe you're the one
- 48:05Speaker 1: that is musty. Maybe you and your wife are musty.
- 48:07Speaker 1: My child is not musty. I keep telling you that
- 48:09Speaker 1: I bathed him every night. Which part of that don't
- 48:11Speaker 1: you understand? I understand everything that you're saying. Maybe it's
- 48:14Speaker 1: the soap, maybe something that is not taking effect. I'm
- 48:17Speaker 1: not sure. Okay, maybe he doesn't smell because I don't
- 48:20Speaker 1: know what d you We're not using melder on my child.
- 48:25Speaker 1: Do I need to come down there for you with
- 48:27Speaker 1: the cop and suit your entire establishment. You don't want
- 48:30Speaker 1: that to happen staying away from my child? Are you crazy?
- 48:33Speaker 1: You know? Man? A fact, gras my son. Man, your satisfying.
- 48:35Speaker 1: Your son is in there with the rest of the kids.
- 48:37Speaker 1: They're playing. You know, today is the first day I
- 48:39Speaker 1: sprayed a little bit of mel theodor and understand how
- 48:42Speaker 1: that works, Cheryl, So can you come for me for
- 48:46Speaker 1: a couple of minutes. I I'm na right now. I'll
- 48:49Speaker 1: be there within the hour because you must be crazy.
- 48:52Speaker 1: But you mean you sprayed my son, spam. I just
- 48:54Speaker 1: sprayed a little bit of the older and on him,
- 48:56Speaker 1: just to see if we can get the commission to
- 48:58Speaker 1: do that. And I keep telling you, I said there's
- 49:00Speaker 1: nothing wrong with my child, and you took us on
- 49:02Speaker 1: here chalk to go and spray my child. And you
- 49:04Speaker 1: weren't about to Joe. Are you see? I'm reading my
- 49:07Speaker 1: right now? Okay? Well, what are you coming here for?
- 49:09Speaker 1: The boy? Is? You're the son of the leak? Is fine?
- 49:12Speaker 1: Why are you coming here? You know he's curling that fine?
- 49:14Speaker 1: If you're going around spread, how don't you space? Because
- 49:18Speaker 1: clearly is you're smelling and riaking and funky as hell.
- 49:21Speaker 1: I didn't give you no my child. I'm gonna I
- 49:25Speaker 1: promise you. I promise you. I'm ana ah y'all because

- 50:21Speaker 1: I need, I need to tell you one more thing
- 50:23Speaker 1: about your side. Okay, please, you possibly have to tell me.

- 50:33Speaker 1: Your girlfriend Serl got me to play FA call you
- 50:40Speaker 1: master that I'm standing here in the park a lot
- 50:47Speaker 1: about them coming down. Never I've never exactly what I
- 50:51Speaker 1: was about. I'm gonna get her. I don't forget it
- 50:53Speaker 1: because I'm Nigga. I know my child and must set
- 50:55Speaker 1: I know my child is clean and you don't smell.

- 51:19Speaker 1: nice and clean and smelling right, So, I don't know
- 51:21Speaker 1: what the hell you were talking about. I was like,
- 51:23Speaker 1: my child, You got the wrong child. You are about
- 51:25Speaker 1: to get it. You don't even know. Oh man, Vanessa,
- 51:29Speaker 1: you gotta tell me one more thing. But what's the
- 51:31Speaker 1: baddest and I mean the baddest radio show in the lakes,
- 51:37Speaker 1: the one and only Steve running in shower? Yeah, yeah,
- 51:44Speaker 1: right there with her though, Yeah, not my baby. No,
- 51:49Speaker 1: you're not putting this on my baby. I'm coming down. Yeah,
- 51:54Speaker 1: she was so serious about her baby. My baby is
- 51:58Speaker 1: not musty. Yeah, I sprayed it with some male deodor.
- 52:08Speaker 1: Coming down. I'm gonna tell you that. I'm serious by
- 52:14Speaker 1: my friends saying though, I mean to tell you stop
- 52:17Speaker 1: picking the baby by his arms. You gotta broke the
- 52:19Speaker 1: seal on them. And old people say that, don't pick
- 52:23Speaker 1: the babies up by their arms. You're gonna break the
- 52:24Speaker 1: seal on them, don't make a musket, stop messing with
- 52:33Speaker 1: the kid, pick them up from their waist, don't pick
- 52:36Speaker 1: them up by their arms. Break the gonna be strong? Yeah,
- 52:41Speaker 1: the other people say that we're gonna be strong being
- 52:46Speaker 1: around some musty kids. Uh, hell yeah. I grew up
- 52:51Speaker 1: with all boys, all of us steak. We was just
- 52:56Speaker 1: a little pack of steak running around. What you're talking about.
- 53:00Speaker 1: Have I been around musty kids? Yeah, all of us,
- 53:04Speaker 1: the whole hundred and twelfth Street crew. We stay. We
- 53:08Speaker 1: should grow up on the porch. My mama used to say,
- 53:13Speaker 1: thank you, thank you. Yeah. Coming up next Strawberry Letter,
- 53:18Speaker 1: Traditional Ways Bore Me is the subject Traditional Ways Bore Me.
- 53:22Speaker 1: We'll be back right after this. You're listening to the
- 53:25Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. It is time now for today's

- 53:36Speaker 1: and more. Please submit your Strawberry Letter to Steve HARVEYFM
- 53:39Speaker 1: dot com and click submit Strawberry Letter. We could be
- 53:42Speaker 1: reading your letter live on the air, just like we're
- 53:46Speaker 1: gonna read this one right here right now. Ever, know
- 53:49Speaker 1: it could be yours all right, ladies and Gentlemen's time
- 53:52Speaker 1: for the Strawberry letter. But my good friend, Shirley Strawberry,
- 53:56Speaker 1: thank you, my good friend. Junior subject, traditional way bore me.
- 54:01Speaker 1: Traditional ways bore me. Dear Stephen, Shirley. I've been married
- 54:05Speaker 1: for twenty three years and my wife is very set
- 54:09Speaker 1: in her ways. I listen to you all all the time,
- 54:12Speaker 1: and I want your opinion on how to keep the
- 54:14Speaker 1: spice in my marriage. Everything about my wife is old
- 54:18Speaker 1: school and she doesn't like change. We have not bought
- 54:22Speaker 1: new furniture in fifteen years, and when I try to
- 54:25Speaker 1: redo my man cave, she got her sister's old couch
- 54:29Speaker 1: and recliner and had it in the basement when I
- 54:31Speaker 1: got home one day. I never go against what she
- 54:34Speaker 1: wants to do, but it's getting tiresome. I want to
- 54:38Speaker 1: live a little now that our children are grown. I
- 54:40Speaker 1: want to go back to the movies again and get
- 54:42Speaker 1: on an airplane for a nice vacation, or take my
- 54:45Speaker 1: wife to an outdoor concert like I used to. My
- 54:48Speaker 1: wife is consumed with all that's going on with the
- 54:51Speaker 1: pandemic and now the new ugly disease that's spreading. I
- 54:56Speaker 1: think our church is a big downer for her because
- 55:00Speaker 1: all they do is stand around after church and talk
- 55:02Speaker 1: about the sick and shut in. I just go sit
- 55:04Speaker 1: in the car and have to hear about how rude
- 55:06Speaker 1: I am all the way home. I cannot be the
- 55:09Speaker 1: old man she wants me to be. I remember my
- 55:12Speaker 1: girl could darn near do flips in the bedroom, and
- 55:15Speaker 1: what initiates sex with me all over the house, even
- 55:18Speaker 1: while our children were there. Now it's only in the bedroom,
- 55:22Speaker 1: lights out, TV off, and one position only. She won't
- 55:27Speaker 1: do the cowgirl for me or the pregame activities we
- 55:30Speaker 1: used to enjoy. These traditional ways are boring me, and
- 55:33Speaker 1: you have to know it's bad because I would never
- 55:36Speaker 1: have written you all for help. I want to burn
- 55:39Speaker 1: her long night gowns and give her get the vixen
- 55:42Speaker 1: back that I'm married. We're not even sixty yet, and
- 55:45Speaker 1: she acts like she's ready for a retirement home. I
- 55:48Speaker 1: really don't want to cheat on her, So how can
- 55:50Speaker 1: I get the magic back in my marriage? Well, you know,
- 55:57Speaker 1: getting older is something we all have to do if
- 55:59Speaker 1: we keep living right. But the point is to grow
- 56:03Speaker 1: into it gracefully, not just give up and let old
- 56:06Speaker 1: age just come and take you and then one day
- 56:09Speaker 1: you're just old that's why it's called anti aging. Yeah,
- 56:13Speaker 1: and your wife sounds like she's given up. She's forgotten
- 56:16Speaker 1: the woman that she once was, the woman that you
- 56:18Speaker 1: take to outdoor concerts and would have sex all over
- 56:22Speaker 1: the house. She's forgotten that Older doesn't mean you stop,
- 56:25Speaker 1: It doesn't mean things are over. It just means you know,
- 56:28Speaker 1: you still have to live your life. And you guys
- 56:30Speaker 1: are married, so so both of you have to continue
- 56:33Speaker 1: to put that work in. Instead of growing together, you
- 56:36Speaker 1: guys are growing farther and farther apart. I mean you
- 56:39Speaker 1: even put in here you don't want to cheat on her.
- 56:41Speaker 1: That that's a sign right there. So, husband, since you
- 56:46Speaker 1: took the steps to write us, which you said you
- 56:48Speaker 1: would not ordinarily do if you weren't in trouble, why
- 56:51Speaker 1: don't you just jump start this phase you know, of
- 56:55Speaker 1: you and your wife's new life. I say start with
- 56:57Speaker 1: some romance by taking her out on a date right
- 57:00Speaker 1: there in the house at first, you know, since she
- 57:03Speaker 1: doesn't like to go out anymore because of COVID and
- 57:05Speaker 1: monkey pots, so you know, treat her nicely in the house.
- 57:08Speaker 1: Get some candles, get some rolls, pedal you know, run
- 57:12Speaker 1: her a bath, give her a bath, Find something sexy
- 57:14Speaker 1: for her to put on, not those gowns that you
- 57:16Speaker 1: don't like. I'm sure she had something else in there.
- 57:19Speaker 1: You know, get some dinner going, you can order out,
- 57:21Speaker 1: put some sexy music on, you know, some soft lights,
- 57:25Speaker 1: all of the above, and then you know, maybe pull
- 57:28Speaker 1: out some old pictures. Take her down memory lane. Talk
- 57:31Speaker 1: to her. Give her a foot rub. Women love foot rubs,
- 57:34Speaker 1: you know, reminiscent what you guys used to do, how
- 57:38Speaker 1: you met all of that. You know, be vulnerable, talk
- 57:41Speaker 1: to her, talk about the fun you guys used to have.
- 57:44Speaker 1: Make her feel special again, like a woman again, and
- 57:48Speaker 1: be consistent with what you started. Give her your undivided attention.
- 57:52Speaker 1: You know, things that will bring out her softness. You
- 57:55Speaker 1: have the power right now to awaken those old memories
- 57:58Speaker 1: in her and give her new hope and anything is
- 58:00Speaker 1: worth to try to get her to do some version
- 58:03Speaker 1: of those flips again, right, and it could save your
- 58:06Speaker 1: marriage if you if you bring some romance into it.
- 58:09Speaker 1: And I say that because you didn't mention that in
- 58:11Speaker 1: the letter, Steve. No, no, no, no, no no no.
- 58:21Speaker 1: I believe Shirley. If this man followed all your instructions
- 58:27Speaker 1: to the t If the problem was what you're saying,
- 58:30Speaker 1: all of what you said would be working very helpful.
- 58:35Speaker 1: It ain't. He ain't trying. The problem in this letter
- 58:39Speaker 1: is she didn't stop trying. He didn't try it all.
- 58:44Speaker 1: It's when a man, she first of all traditional ways
- 58:47Speaker 1: bore me. I really thought a woman wrote this letter. Yeah,
- 58:51Speaker 1: I know. This man even said somewhere down in the
- 58:54Speaker 1: letter he sayd these traditional ways are boring me. And
- 58:57Speaker 1: you have to know it's bad because I never would
- 59:00Speaker 1: have written you all for help. Lord Jesus, I can't tell.
- 59:05Speaker 1: And this man is in his fifties. Let me tell
- 59:08Speaker 1: you something. Man, this is bad. She finna lose this dude,
- 59:14Speaker 1: but he's crying for help. Now. I'm gonna try to help.
- 59:20Speaker 1: But see, he wrote the letter and not her. If
- 59:24Speaker 1: she had wrote the letter, says Steve, what can I
- 59:27Speaker 1: do different to put the sparks again? He didn tried everything, Sherley.
- 59:30Speaker 1: That's why this man writing this letter. She don't want
- 59:33Speaker 1: to do nothing. They've been married twenty three years. He
- 59:37Speaker 1: wants our opinion on how to keep the spice in
- 59:39Speaker 1: my marriage. Everything about her is old school and she
- 59:43Speaker 1: don't like change. We ain't bought new furniture in fifteen
- 59:47Speaker 1: years now when a man started complaining about the furniture
- 59:51Speaker 1: in the house. It's bad. I'm telling you it is bad.
- 59:55Speaker 1: And lady, you all know that if a man says so,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: when we come back, I'm gonna tell you it's not
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: on this guy. It's almost nothing he can do. I
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: don't know if we're gonna help it. Hang on, hang on, okay,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: hang on right there. We'll have part two of your
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: Today's strawberry letter subject is traditional ways bore me. We'll
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: get back into it right after this. You're listening to
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve, let's recap
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. The subject is traditional ways bore me.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: I really thought that a woman wrote this letter. But
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: like his man said at the bottom of the letter,
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: he says, these traditional ways are boring me. And you
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: gotta know it's bad because I never would have written
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: you all for help. And I'm telling you, when a
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: man cries out like this, Shirley, it's because he has
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: tried everything. He didn't invited her to the movie, he
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: didn't tried rubbing her. He didn't tried running bath water.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: He didn't tried coming in the house with some sexy lingerie.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: She wearing the gowns and stuff. Let me tell you
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: what's wrong with her head when a man right in
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: and says, she don't like change. We ain't bought new
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: furniture in fifteen years. When a man mentioned how the
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: furniture looking in the house, it's bad. And then when
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: he tried to redo his man cave, she got her
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: sister's own couch and recliner and had it in the basement.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: When I got home one day, No nobody want this
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: old sugar honey iced tea. We agree there for sure.
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: What the fudge is just about? Almost man, she trifling.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: I never go against what she wants to do. That's
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: a man that's trying to have a happy wife, happy life,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: but it's getting ties of I want to live a
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: little now, the children grown. I want to go back
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: to the movies again, get on an airplane for a
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: nice vacation. Take my wife too. I'll don't concert like
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: I used to. My wife is consumed with all that's
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: going on with the pandemic and now the new ugly
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: disease that's spreading. I think our church is a big
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: downer for her because all they do is stand around
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: after church and talk about the sick and shut in.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: Right there. I don't like that, sound like sick and
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: shut in. That ain't my list. The reason I don't
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: got to care about the sick and shut in because
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: I'm not the pastor. That's the number one reason I
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: won't go into the ministry today because I am not
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: going to visit the sick and shut in. Well, they're
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: ministers that do that in the church. You don't have to, sir,
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: I'm not going, but you gotta have compassion, Steve. I
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: do have compassion, but I can't go there for the
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: sick or the shitty, and I'm not good at that.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: Now we can get a committee to go down now
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: some mothers of the church. But past I just said,
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: I'm not doing it. Well, what are they standing around
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: talking about it? For? They? And they is shut in.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: Let's get in the car, shut up, and I just
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: go sit in the car. And then I got to
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: hear about how rude I am all the way home.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: I can't be the old man she wants me to be.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: I remember my girl could don there do flips in
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: the bedroom. Come on now, because she was doing what
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: she's doing to get you, but the same thing it
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: took to get your babyhood just just gonna take the
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: same thing to keep us seat and would initiate sexual
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: me all over the house, even while our children were
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: the Nah, it's only in the bedroom, lights out, TV off,
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: one position only. She won't do the cow girl for
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: me or the pregame activities we used to do. And
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: see want the cow girl? Yeah, you know how the
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: car girls she rides. That's the cord girl. We got it. No,
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: you didn't know we got it. Well, I'm just paid.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: You have made your point. Oh, these traditional ways of
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: boy men. You have to know it's bad because I
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: never would have ridden you off for help. I want
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: to burn her long nightgowns and get the vixing back
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: that I met. I'm throwing the nightgowns away. Marjorie had
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: a pair of pajamas that she bought six pair of
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: in the same color. Okay, she went to pass one time.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: When she came home, she couldn't find them. Then I
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: saw online trying to order some more, and I stopped.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: Yet I had admit that I had them thrown away.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: Why then she realized how much I hated him at all,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: So she changed and got some different ones than you. Yeah. Um,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: we're not even sixty yet, and she acts like she's
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: ready for retirement home. I really don't want to cheat
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: on her. But how can I get the magic back
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: in my mid? Man? Right now, let me explain something.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: The best advice I could give you, dog is to
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: hand her this letter. That's the best advice I can give,
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: because see, sometimes you can't get through the people. But
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: if you hand her this letter and say, baby, nobody
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: knows this me, but this is how down I have
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: been about it. And here's the letter. Now, I want
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: you to take the line out that says I really
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: don't want to cheat on her. I want you to
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: take that line out and just go. She acts like
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: she's ready for a retirement home. So how can I
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: get the magic back in my mid You just got
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: to take that I really don't want to cheat on
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: her line. I can't because let me tell you something,
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: that's all the damn letter fitting to be about this.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: Absolutely See, ain't all you said before, I ain't gonna matter.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: So my man, take the I don't want to cheat
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: on her line out and just so I can get
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: the magic back in my man, then you're have an Effectively,
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: it would generate the conversation you all need, and she
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: will go, I can't believe you what baby? Don't nobody
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: know us up? But he don't. Yeah, that's it, And
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: he ain't And he loved his wife but he won't
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: her back. Yeah, y'all got to quit wearing all this
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: hunting stuff to bed. Post your comments on today's Strawberry
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: Letter at Steve Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook. Check
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: out the Strawberry Letter podcast Done to Man coming up
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: at forty six minutes after the hour. It's Junior and
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: sports Stock right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: All right, it is time now for Junior and sports Stock. Junior?
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: What you got? Okay, Shirley, But let me lettle know.
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: Seven days from now, Huntsville, Alabama. I'm gonna be there
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: Stand up Line September first, Go get your tickets stand
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: Up Live dot Com, Go get him play cousin coming. Okay,
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: let's talk about it. Nick Saban gets an extension, making
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: him the highest paid college head coach. He got ninety
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: three point six million through twenty thirty. Kirby Smart was
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: the highest paid college coach, and he got that contract
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: on August fourth. Well, here we are today with Kirby
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: with Texas now your University of Georgia. Well, Kurty Smart was,
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: you know, he just signed his big deal. And then
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: do Alabama said, well, we're gonna make Nick saving back
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: the highest paid head coach. So he got him that.
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: These players money, oh he getting He got ninety three
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: point six extension through twenty thirty. Ninety three point six
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: men make any kind of sense. Yeah, but y'all land
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: these boys for going out here getting this type of
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: money with these deals, y'all can't make no money. Wait
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: a minute, now, boys is making money now, yeah, thank goodness. Yeah.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: And because they make these they make these universities hundreds
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: of beauty. Ye, so year all of the games. Well
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: you know what also speaking to Buddy was, you know,
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: Kevin Durant decided to go back home to Brooklyn. He
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: does not want to be traded no more. He said,
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: I'm just gonna stay and play because it cannot find
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: anybody to trade him too, and knows that we could
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: get the value back. So Kevin Durant will be in
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: Brooklyn next year lower Kyrie Irving and Ben Simmons. He
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: has signed an extension up. Get this, This will make
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: you stay though one hundred and ninety eight million over
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: four years. You can. You can stay for that balla
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: you've been trying to passing the ball, everything, hanging out
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: y'all helping him down on the floor as was crazy.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: And then Simmons ass was scared you playing, you playing man,
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: I'm shooting. I think this is the best move for
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: Durant because Levin would have made it would have tarnished
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: his reputation. Yeah, I want to talk with him because
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: this is one of the premier talents in all of
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: basketball as and this guy has. If he stays there,
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: if Kyrie just act half ass right and Ben Simmons
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: put acting like he's scared them boys right, there could
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: be something special to watch. But it all depends on
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: if Kyrie can keep his head in the game. Quit
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: wearing about Israel because he gets bow damn issues. But
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: not Kyrie though. Let us worry back. Yeah, if you
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: ain't got to get the vaccine, just get your ass
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: on the court, search and play some basketball. Coming up
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. We'll have more of
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: to the String Show. Earlier week, you know, we talked
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: about Usher extending his Vegas residency. Well, Usher is also
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: trending because he recently commented on Diddy's question who killed
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: R and B? Or is R and B dead? Usher
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: recently said in a podcast that he believes that R
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: and B music is alive and well. Usher also said
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: that Diddie sounds nuts to me. It sounds crazy, knowing
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: that he was a pioneer and understanding and a beneficiary
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: of it. Chris Brown also responded to Diddy and said,
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: shut up respectfully claimed real singers, I love this. I
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: love this, so Steve. The question for you, of course,
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: is how do you feel about the state of R
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: and B? And is it dead? And no, it's not dead.
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: Listen to me. Here's a statement I heard and it
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: makes perfect sense. Everybody don't like app Not everybody likes rap.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: It's not a slam on it or nothing like that.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: It's just a fact. Everybody don't like rep. Everybody likes
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: a good song, everybody, I'm sorry. Everybody likes a good
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: song even rappery. Ask them what they listened to when
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: they sitting around. You ain't listening to somebody else rap
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: you with your girl. You put on songs music. Now.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: Has it changed over the years? Of course? Has the
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: record industry gone in another direction a lot, But it's
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: not dead. You gotta have songs, man, song makes the
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: world go round. It's love. If you take that out
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: to mix, what do we have call for rep? Well?
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: Why did he say? Who is he? Well? He went
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: out alive and said it. And you know Mary J. Blige,
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: she she commented on it. So it's kind of been
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: like the song going thing, this thing. Yeah yeah, but
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: it's like, no, no, look he never it's on Instagram
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: smoking weed getting a massage. Who did he did it? Yeah?
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: So I mean what, yeah, what I just think yet?
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: I mean, that's cool. I saw that. Yeah, but I
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: mean I don't care. You know, there's things about him
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: that I that I respect, you know what I mean.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: But just because I respect you, I ain't gonna like
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: everything you say. That's right, you don't know. Let me
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: tell you what. Rmbing never died to me ever, ever,
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: it's never gonna I got all of it. We found
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: who you want? Ye give us a little example this morning?
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: Who are you? Who are you feeling this morning? What
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: looks one keebow? How is that dying? Oh? My love me?
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: Pebo though, yeah, I'm do, I'll be there. One of
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: the greatest singers ever, Pebo Bryson, Yes, Yes, R and
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: B singers, Luther, Yeah, ask and know that I love
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: Are you on stage right now? Where are you? Where
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: are you sing? He performed, anyone who's ever dream could
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: look at me and no, I dream of you, No
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: love you? So that could be one of my all
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: time favorite. Luther sung anyone who had a home that
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: that could be mine because that we're right there every
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: time I here, I tell because anybody who has a
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: heart can look at me and know that I love you.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: Anybody who ever dreamed can look at me and know
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: I dream of you. Why would I be that I
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: was walking to the club and the shot me. Everybody
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: in the club and Lenny Williams take us out, come on,
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: huh uh uh uh uh, we'll be back. You're listening to.
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: Officials from the Little League World Series released a statement
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: Monday after ESPN's broadcast during MLB Little League Classic showed
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: footage of Little League white players wearing jerseys from the
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: Midwest region sticking pieces of cotton into a young black
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: player's hair. In the statement, the officials said there was
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: no let me say this, there was quote no ill
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: intent behind the incident, which sparked considerable black backlash from
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: viewers online. As only one player appeared on the broadcast,
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: Little League International understands that the action shown could be
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: perceived as racially insensitive. We have spoken with the player's
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: mother and the coaches, who have assured us that there
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: was no ill intent behind the action shown during the broadcast.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: So they're saying it was not racial. This is something
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: they do. They showed a picture of a little white
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: kid having it done too. But I just was feeling
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: some kind of way when I saw I did not
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: like it. Put yeah, it was that image. And then
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: he said, this is little leaguers being little leaguers. Yeah,
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: but he said it's so quick. It didn't sound like that.
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: You had to listen to it. That's just little leaguers
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: being a little league. Yea. And the way he said
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: the real fast, I said, and they said, it's just
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: little ends being a little Yeah. I was because I
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: thought he had lost his mind. I said, this, dude's
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: whole career gone. I can understand kids. You know, we've
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: just been around too much. That's all I say about it.
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: You got bigger, all right? In thirty three minutes after
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: the hour, we'll play around it. Would you rather? Right

- 1:17:12Speaker 1: that ship. Your ass gots to sit there. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: all right? Would you rather get cheated on and know

- 1:19:52Speaker 1: All right, we gotta go time for our last break
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: of the day, and at forty nine minutes after some
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: closing remarks from the one end only Steve Harvey. Right
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: after this, you're listening all right? Here we are our
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: last break of the day on this Thursday, heading into
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: the weekend tomorrow, Baby, great day. We got a good day, um,
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: as always Steve. Before we go, before your closing remarks, UM,
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: we had a voicemail from a caller named Miss l
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: from Chicago. She listens on D one oh three and
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: she has something to say. Hi, good afternoon. My name
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: is selling homes and I am just calling just for
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: us some comments. I just want to say that the
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show, it's a great it's a great tool.
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: It's a great show. Are for listening. I love it,
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: I love the staff, and I especially love Steve Harvey.
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: I'm my mom who is now in Heaven has gone
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: away to be with the Lord. She loved Steve Harvey
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: so much and got so much from his inspirational and
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: motivational talks that he gives and the morning at the
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: end of the morning show, He's such an inspiration to us.
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: Uh and we just love him. He gives such good UH.
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: Prep Fox and inspirational talks and talks about God, and um,
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: you know how God has blessed him and given us
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: motivation to continue to pray and to serve God. And
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: it's such a blessing. It is such a blessing. And
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: I just wanted you guys to know that I enjoy
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: your show. I love the Saturday show also, uh um
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: the morning showed us the old dusties are and it's
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: so wonderful to get up and clean up on um
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: and and and Sunday show. Also I love gospel music.
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: But I just wanted to say about Steve Harvey. We
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: love him and for him to continue on and they
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: God to continue to bless him and to continue to
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: give this motivational species and its moments of inspiration. Okay,
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: thank you, I appreciate you. Die God lest Yeah, that
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: was a great message, you know what, And that kind
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: of leads me into my closing remarks to it. I
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: thank her for that because faith has been an intricral
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: part of my life. It has been the cornerstone, the
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: foundation of everything that I've overcome and everything I have
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: become see because of my faith, it has been the
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: cornerstone of everything I have overcome and everything I have become.
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: It is also the foundation my faith of things to come.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: I'm I'm real about that. I was raised this way
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: by my mother in Las Via. Harvey gets full credit
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: for this the faith aspect of my life, and I
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: have tried to honor my promise to God. When I
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: was out there struggling, I was homeless, I made a
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: promise to him that if he let me make it,
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: when I get there, I was gonna tell everybody about it.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: So that is what the first twelve minutes of my
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: radio show is about. That is why I dropped information
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: about God all the time. That's why a lot of
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: times in my closing remarks, I use this platform to
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: talk about my faith in God. Now I've traveled the
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: world and I was raised also by the same mother.
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: To respect all people in all faiths. It doesn't matter
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: that a faith don't see exactly what I see. That's
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: not my calling. It's not for me to judge. It
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: is for me to respect. I have friends from all faiths.
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: I have people I do business with, I have associates.
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: But I know a lot of Jewish people, I know
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: a lot of Muslim people. I know a lot of
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: Islamic people. I know people from all faiths. I respect
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: them all because I was taught that. So whatever you
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: hear about me, know the fact, you can just base
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: it on everything you've ever heard me say. I talk
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: about it because of his goodness, because of his grace,
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: because of his favor, because of his mercy. And you
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: got to be careful, man, when you out there and
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: you hear people talking all the time, When you hear
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: people out there slaming other people, you got to understand
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: why they slamming other people who gives them the power
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: and the right. Somebody said out there, I'm not gonna
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: say no name that, but somebody said that Steve Harvey
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: starting a new religion called Chris Slan. I've never said that.
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: Why would I? Who am I to start a religion?
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: I have a religion, I have a faith, I have
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: a God, I have a Jesus. I have a method
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: of prayer. I'm not changing that. That's the way I
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: was raised. But can I not honor people for who
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: they are? Because I have Muslim friends that are doing
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: very very well. They believe in God, just like I
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: believe in God? Who am I? And it works? I
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: got a partner of mine who praised five times a day.
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: The average Christian don't do that. He lives a successful life.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: He's a great person, a great family man. I just
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: happened to honor faith. When you hear somebody talking about
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: Steve Harvey and start a new religion, you ain't never
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: heard me say nothing like that. And I despaire all
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: of that. And I stand on that. I stand on
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: my faith in who I am. I've been. I've been
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: this way the whole time. You ain't never heard me
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: wave or jump off this hill boat. That's me. That's
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: the God I served, That's the faith I have. I
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: don't know all the scriptures, but I know enough that
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: then got me here, and I know enough that's gonna
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: get me the rest of the way. Be careful who
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: you hear things from. Everybody standing up there talking about it,
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: Maine boy, just be careful, y'all. No God for yourself,
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: have your faith together for yourself. Those are my closing remarks. Hey, listen,
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: talk to God today, y'all. He loved to hear from
