- 0:08Speaker 3: that came out of prisons or.

- 0:29Speaker 3: and here are the two big stories that are coming
- 0:31Speaker 3: out of the White House this morning. First up, there
- 0:34Speaker 3: was a massive win for the President when it comes
- 0:37Speaker 3: to deploying the National Guard, this time coming from the
- 0:40Speaker 3: ninth US Circuit decision dealing with him doing exactly this
- 0:45Speaker 3: in Portland and what does this mean for other cities
- 0:48Speaker 3: around the country. Also, a massive bombshell, this time coming
- 0:52Speaker 3: from Senator Chuck Grassley saying he now has proof that
- 0:56Speaker 3: Biden's Attorney General Merrick Garland and Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monico,
- 1:01Speaker 3: plus the FBI Director chrispher Ray all personally approved opening
- 1:07Speaker 3: Arctic frost to go after Donald Trump and conservatives that
- 1:12Speaker 3: we're aiding and supporting him.
- 1:15Speaker 1: I'll have more details on that in.
- 1:16Speaker 3: A second, but first, every so often something happens that
- 1:20Speaker 3: reminds us just how fragile our freedoms are. We can't
- 1:24Speaker 3: afford to take our rights for granted. We must draw
- 1:27Speaker 3: a line in the sand, and our friends at Patriot
- 1:30Speaker 3: Mobile have been doing just that for more than twelve years.
- 1:34Speaker 3: The truth is there is only one provider that boldly

- 1:40Speaker 3: we're fighting for, and that company is Patriot Mobile. Not

- 3:00Speaker 3: slash ben forty seven or nine seven to Patriot and
- 3:05Speaker 3: make the switch today. It's the forty seven Morning Update
- 3:09Speaker 3: and it starts right now. Story number one, the ninth
- 3:13Speaker 3: Circuit saying that President Trump can send the National Guard
- 3:16Speaker 3: to Portland is another massive win for law and order.
- 3:21Speaker 3: And if you think that the left is going to
- 3:24Speaker 3: sit down and just say, okay, fine, the President's going
- 3:27Speaker 3: to be able to be the president, and he has
- 3:29Speaker 3: the authority to do this and he was elected to
- 3:31Speaker 3: do it, you're wrong. MSNBC having a total meltdown as
- 3:35Speaker 3: Lisa Rubin had to read the ninth Circuit decision authorizing
- 3:39Speaker 3: Trump to deploy the National Guard in Portland. Take a
- 3:42Speaker 3: listen to how they spun it on MSNBC.
- 3:45Speaker 4: Yeah, And I want to just correct one thing and
- 3:47Speaker 4: then explain why functional. Okay, it is the same. This
- 3:49Speaker 4: is a stay of Judge Immigrant's opinion, and that's why
- 3:53Speaker 4: it reached the Ninth Circuit as soon as it did,
- 3:55Speaker 4: because this is an emergency motion to essentially pause for order.
- 3:58Speaker 4: But as a functional no matter, you are absolutely correct,
- 4:01Speaker 4: it has the function of overturning her order and thereby
- 4:06Speaker 4: allowing the President to send the National Guard back onto
- 4:09Speaker 4: the streets of Portland. And Katy, I want to read
- 4:11Speaker 4: if I can, just from a little bit of the
- 4:13Speaker 4: beginning of this ninety three page opinion, it says, after
- 4:16Speaker 4: considering the record, and by the record they mean all
- 4:19Speaker 4: the factual evidence at this preliminary stage, we conclude that
- 4:22Speaker 4: it is likely that the President lawfully exercised his statutory
- 4:26Speaker 4: authority under ten USC. Section twelve four oh six. That's
- 4:31Speaker 4: the statute we've been referring to as Title ten when
- 4:33Speaker 4: we have conversations about the National Guard deployments, which authorizes
- 4:37Speaker 4: the federalization of the National Guard. When the president is
- 4:40Speaker 4: unable with the regular forces to execute the laws of
- 4:43Speaker 4: the United States. And this is the important part. The
- 4:45Speaker 4: evidence the president relied on reflects quote, a colorable assessment
- 4:50Speaker 4: of the facts in law within a range of honest judgment.
- 4:53Speaker 4: We thus conclude that defendants are likely to succeed on
- 4:57Speaker 4: the merits of their appeal. Basically say saying when and
- 5:00Speaker 4: if a court considers all of the record in this
- 5:03Speaker 4: matter is tried and it gets back to an appellate
- 5:06Speaker 4: court through an ordinary process where they have full briefing
- 5:09Speaker 4: and full evidence, that they still think Donald Trump is
- 5:12Speaker 4: likely to prevail there because he has the discretion to
- 5:17Speaker 4: determine as the president, within a range of honest judgment.
- 5:21Speaker 4: So it is reasonable.
- 5:22Speaker 2: This is what you and I were talking about last week.
- 5:25Speaker 3: It is very clear the left realizes now they're running
- 5:28Speaker 3: out of ways to stop President Trump from doing his job,
- 5:31Speaker 3: a job that he was elected by the American people
- 5:34Speaker 3: to do, and they're going to do everything they can
- 5:37Speaker 3: to continue to try to stop him. But as we
- 5:39Speaker 3: witness what is happening now in Portland and the total
- 5:42Speaker 3: number of arrast nationwide in the last nine months in
- 5:46Speaker 3: law and order, that is also being restored to incredibly
- 5:50Speaker 3: violent cities like Portland, Washington, d C. Memphis, Tennessee, and
- 5:56Speaker 3: many more to come, including Chicago. What you're witnessing is
- 5:59Speaker 3: a president that is doing exactly what he promised he
- 6:02Speaker 3: was going to do, keep all Americans safe, no matter
- 6:06Speaker 3: where you live.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Now, story number two.
- 6:08Speaker 3: It happened several years ago, but we're now finally starting
- 6:12Speaker 3: to get to the bottom of the corruption at the
- 6:14Speaker 3: deep state under Joe Biden's leadership. You may remember us
- 6:19Speaker 3: talking about Arctic Frost and that was an FBI DOJ
- 6:23Speaker 3: investigation that was open in April of twenty twenty two
- 6:27Speaker 3: as a quote sensitive investigative matter. It focused on efforts,
- 6:33Speaker 3: they claimed at the time, to overturn the twenty twenty election.
- 6:38Speaker 3: That's right, they were saying that Donald Trump was trying
- 6:42Speaker 3: to overthrow.
- 6:42Speaker 1: The will of the people.
- 6:44Speaker 3: Multiple outlets and Senator Chuck Grassey's committee are now describing
- 6:49Speaker 3: it as a precursor to Jack Smith's DC case against
- 6:54Speaker 3: Donald Trump. Grassley's office says agents issued one hundred of subpoenas,
- 7:01Speaker 3: conducted dozens of interviews, and sought call records for eight
- 7:05Speaker 3: Republican senators and one House member from January the fourth
- 7:10Speaker 3: through the seventh of twenty twenty one. We now know
- 7:13Speaker 3: that list has expanded and now include Senator Ted Cruz.
- 7:17Speaker 3: We also know that not only were they spawing on
- 7:19Speaker 3: elected members of Congress that were Republicans only, they also
- 7:24Speaker 3: targeted GOP aligned organizations. Notable actions linked to Arctic Frost
- 7:31Speaker 3: include the FBI's August ninth, twenty twenty two seizure of
- 7:36Speaker 3: Representative Scott Perry's phone, surveillance es to locate him and
- 7:41Speaker 3: broad a request tied to alternate electors. Later elements fed
- 7:47Speaker 3: into Special Council Jack Smith's.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Work, which brings us to the new bombshell.
- 7:54Speaker 3: Chuck Grassley has now released documents he says show proof
- 7:59Speaker 3: that the Attorney Merrick Garland, the Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monico,
- 8:04Speaker 3: and FBI Director Chrisopher Ray personally approved opening Arctic Frost
- 8:09Speaker 3: in April of twenty twenty two. Multiple write ups cite
- 8:13Speaker 3: the memo and handwritten sign offs, and Grassley posted the
- 8:17Speaker 3: claims publicly as well. Now, Grasseley's characterization is simple. He
- 8:23Speaker 3: framed Arctic Frost as a sweeping partisan overreach that weaponized
- 8:29Speaker 3: law enforcement and surveilled members of Congress. He ties it
- 8:34Speaker 3: to Smiths now dismissed DC case. And that's just the
- 8:38Speaker 3: tip of the iceberg. So let's break this down a
- 8:41Speaker 3: little bit more. The former Attorney General Merrick Garland and
- 8:44Speaker 3: former FBI Director Ray decided to approve the sense of
- 8:48Speaker 3: matter and that led to the surveillance of virtually every
- 8:52Speaker 3: Republican that we know of right now. It helped spark
- 8:56Speaker 3: a special Council probe, which was what it was designed
- 8:59Speaker 3: to do at a Donald truy Rump's quote efforts to
- 9:02Speaker 3: overturn the twenty twenty election that obviously was a lie.
- 9:06Speaker 3: Grassley now signed the new documents he received for the
- 9:09Speaker 3: Department of Justice and Garland's approval of the Sensitive Investigation
- 9:14Speaker 3: Matter on April the fifth of twenty twenty two, recommended
- 9:18Speaker 3: by the Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monico, and what it
- 9:21Speaker 3: did was authorize the FBI's Washington Field office to launch
- 9:27Speaker 3: a quote full investigation into what officials described as an
- 9:33Speaker 3: artecutable factual basis indicating the existence of a federal crime
- 9:38Speaker 3: quote unquote they said involved Trump and individuals closely associated
- 9:43Speaker 3: with Donald Trump, which is exactly how they opened the
- 9:46Speaker 3: fishing expedition to go after Trump and to try to
- 9:49Speaker 3: lock him up.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Now.
- 9:50Speaker 3: The launch of Arctic Frost and the investigation would then
- 9:54Speaker 3: lead to the appointment of the Special Council Jack Smith
- 9:57Speaker 3: in November of twenty twenty two. Quote proof that bien
- 10:01Speaker 3: Attorney General Merrit Garland, deput Attorney General Lisa Monico, and
- 10:05Speaker 3: FBI Director Ray All personally approved opening Arctic Frost.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Grassley said in his statement.
- 10:12Speaker 3: This investigation least unchecked government power at the highest levels.
- 10:18Speaker 3: My oversight will continue, Grassley says. Grasseley also announced earlier
- 10:23Speaker 3: this month that at least nine Republican centers now were
- 10:26Speaker 3: targeted by the FBI in this probe. On October the sixth,
- 10:31Speaker 3: Grassley said FBI agents conducted toll record analysis, a form
- 10:36Speaker 3: of communications metadata review, on several GOP lawmakers, including Center
- 10:41Speaker 3: Lindsay Graham of South Carolina, Josh Harley and Missouri, Ron
- 10:45Speaker 3: Johnson Wisconsin, and Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee. The toll analysis
- 10:50Speaker 3: of the phones could have revealed whom each lawmaker contacted
- 10:54Speaker 3: by call or texts in the day surrounding the January sixth,
- 10:58Speaker 3: twenty twenty one Capital riot. Grassley called this worse than Watergate.
- 11:05Speaker 3: In addition, ninety two Republican or conservative aligned groups and individuals,
- 11:11Speaker 3: including Turning Point USA, co founded by slain conservative leader
- 11:16Speaker 3: Charlie Kirk, were also targeted, suggesting that Arctich Frost was
- 11:21Speaker 3: quote much broader than just an electoral matter, Grassley said
- 11:25Speaker 3: during the briefing. He said, this shows now that they
- 11:29Speaker 3: were targeting their political adversaries. Arctich Frost wasn't just a
- 11:34Speaker 3: case to politically investigate Trump. It was the vehicle by
- 11:38Speaker 3: which partisan GOP agents and DOJ prosecutors could achieve their
- 11:44Speaker 3: partisan INDs and improperly investigate the entire Republican political apparatus,
- 11:52Speaker 3: Grassley added. FBI Director Caspittel also coming out vowing transparency
- 11:59Speaker 3: and accountability following the revelations. After Grassley's announcement, we terminate employees,
- 12:06Speaker 3: we abolished the weaponized cr DASH fifteen squad, and we
- 12:11Speaker 3: initiated an ongoing investigation with more accountability measures ahead. Patel
- 12:16Speaker 3: said CR fifteen was the FBI's at Washington Field office
- 12:21Speaker 3: squad focused on investigating federal public corruption. In reality, it
- 12:26Speaker 3: was just going after conservatives. In May, the FBI quietly
- 12:30Speaker 3: disbanded CR DASH fifteen and reassigned its agents as part
- 12:35Speaker 3: of a broader reorganization and shift in priorities. So here
- 12:40Speaker 3: we are with even more evidence that the Biden administration
- 12:43Speaker 3: did everything they could not only to go after Donald Trump,
- 12:47Speaker 3: but to go after anyone that supported Donald Trump politically,
- 12:51Speaker 3: and any up and coming conservative that they found a
- 12:55Speaker 3: threat was then put on their lists to be investigated.
- 12:59Speaker 3: Thank goodness, and Trump is now in the Oval Office
- 13:02Speaker 3: and the people around him are.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Making sure that this never happens again.
