- 2:03Speaker 1: morning everybody, y'all listen to the bars, come on dig
- 2:06Speaker 1: me now, want and on it. Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 1: radio show, Man on man on man. Grateful for it
- 2:14Speaker 1: comes through a huge amount of responsibility. I didn't really
- 2:18Speaker 1: know I was gonna have to be this responsible, you know, Um,
- 2:21Speaker 1: can I share something with y'all? I started out to
- 2:25Speaker 1: Finally I had gotten on track and was able to
- 2:28Speaker 1: see a way to even uh pursue my dream. It
- 2:33Speaker 1: has been a long, a long trip that I've been on,
- 2:36Speaker 1: and I've gone through so many phases of it. It
- 2:40Speaker 1: is rewarding along the way to accomplish your dreams. What
- 2:45Speaker 1: I'm saying is this, let me, let me put it together,
- 2:48Speaker 1: because I got so much running through my head right now.
- 2:51Speaker 1: You know it's it's one thing to accomplish your dreams,
- 2:55Speaker 1: but there's joy in the process of achieving it. See,
- 3:00Speaker 1: some people are so caught up in the goal, the
- 3:04Speaker 1: final goal, that they find no joy, no enjoyment in
- 3:10Speaker 1: the process. If you have found what it is you
- 3:16Speaker 1: want to do and you strike out on that journey,
- 3:20Speaker 1: please understand you are far more blessed than the average person.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Do you understand that to know what it is you
- 3:29Speaker 1: really want to do, to find your work in life,
- 3:34Speaker 1: your purpose, to find out what direction you want to
- 3:38Speaker 1: go in, is such a blessing. The average person, if
- 3:42Speaker 1: you sit down and talk to them, oftentimes don't have
- 3:46Speaker 1: their life on track. And it'd be some people that
- 3:48Speaker 1: you're looking at you think, God it going on because
- 3:51Speaker 1: of their appearance, their swagger. Oh they walk like it,
- 3:55Speaker 1: they talk like it, they look like it. But if
- 3:57Speaker 1: you sit down and talk to the average person, to
- 4:00Speaker 1: the average person, man does not know what their purpose is,
- 4:05Speaker 1: has not discovered what they wanna do, and have no
- 4:09Speaker 1: idea how to get there. If you are on the
- 4:12Speaker 1: other side of that, if you understand your purpose, if
- 4:16Speaker 1: you have an idea of what you wanna be, and
- 4:19Speaker 1: you are on your way there, you are truly blessed.
- 4:24Speaker 1: And in that blessing, you must recognize it as a blessed.
- 4:29Speaker 1: You must recognize the fact that you are you are
- 4:34Speaker 1: on the right side, and that there should be a
- 4:37Speaker 1: sense of accomplishment and a feeling of pride in you
- 4:41Speaker 1: that you are on track to accomplish your goal. See
- 4:45Speaker 1: what used to happen was sometimes I used to keep
- 4:47Speaker 1: my nose so on the grindstone that I wouldn't even
- 4:52Speaker 1: look up and realize. Man, hey, man, I know you're
- 4:56Speaker 1: trying to get here, but Steve, hold on, man, can't
- 4:59Speaker 1: you see what you've done so far? Can't you find
- 5:02Speaker 1: just some joy in the process. See, a lot of
- 5:06Speaker 1: us lose the joy of the blessings God has given
- 5:09Speaker 1: us because we're looking at the end tomorrow. I ain't
- 5:11Speaker 1: there yet, You're on your way. I'm gonna give you
- 5:15Speaker 1: an example. I had a friend who told me that
- 5:18Speaker 1: they wanted to be a million now, and they asked
- 5:21Speaker 1: me some questions, and I told him so they started
- 5:25Speaker 1: the process. And I am telling you, this dude works
- 5:30Speaker 1: extremely hard. So about a year later we were talking.
- 5:37Speaker 1: He had found this business, he had uh set his goal,
- 5:43Speaker 1: and he was working towards. Then about two years later
- 5:47Speaker 1: I ran up into him again. We were talking about
- 5:49Speaker 1: it and everything. It's a man really really appreciate advice,
- 5:52Speaker 1: he said, Man, but this is this is it is
- 5:55Speaker 1: all jacked up, man, because I still ain't made that
- 5:58Speaker 1: million I was talking about. I said, well, hey, man,
- 6:01Speaker 1: just just keep at it. It's coming. He's a man.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Keep at it, man, you know how long I've been
- 6:06Speaker 1: doing this? And I got quiet because, yeah, I know
- 6:08Speaker 1: exactly how long you've been been two years now. And
- 6:12Speaker 1: I didn't say that to him, but I said to myself, yeah,
- 6:15Speaker 1: two years. He's a man. I've been grinding so long. Man,
- 6:17Speaker 1: it's just it ain't having it from me. I said,
- 6:21Speaker 1: wait a minute, man, hold hold on, hold on. I said,
- 6:23Speaker 1: about how much you're making right now a year? Man,
- 6:27Speaker 1: about two hundred fifty thousands. I quit breathing. I said, well,
- 6:33Speaker 1: my man, two years ago you didn't have a clue.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Two years later, you're making a quarter of a million dollars.
- 6:44Speaker 1: I said, man, do you understand how blessed you are?
- 6:47Speaker 1: I said, Man, your family was about to get put
- 6:50Speaker 1: out two years ago. You don't borrough the house? Yeah, man,
- 6:55Speaker 1: but this ain't the house. I really won't. Oh partner,
- 6:58Speaker 1: whoa I got that? I got that house? You really
- 7:02Speaker 1: won't make my car five eight million? I don't know.
- 7:05Speaker 1: But man, y'all got a house, you're making a payments,
- 7:09Speaker 1: you're driving. You ain't out nor more. I said, holdly, mane,
- 7:11Speaker 1: you gotta stop. I said, you got to stop. I said, man,
- 7:14Speaker 1: because right now, man, you you're coming across as real
- 7:16Speaker 1: ungrateful to me. So I know God who has done
- 7:20Speaker 1: all this for you got to be looking at you
- 7:21Speaker 1: with his own folded. But then he God, so he
- 7:24Speaker 1: probably handled it all together different. I was just speculating
- 7:27Speaker 1: with him, and so he said, man, why are you
- 7:28Speaker 1: tripping like that? Man? Man, you act like don't nobody
- 7:31Speaker 1: want to have nothing but you? I said, WHOA? Man?
- 7:33Speaker 1: Where you going with this conversation? I said, Oh, I
- 7:36Speaker 1: didn't come to you. I just came to you and
- 7:37Speaker 1: ask you how you doing. And I'm trying to point
- 7:40Speaker 1: out to you that the journey that you started on
- 7:43Speaker 1: that you are on your way, and you are in
- 7:45Speaker 1: the process of accomplishing your goals, and can you not
- 7:49Speaker 1: feel some joy and some pleasure in your accomplishment. Quit
- 7:53Speaker 1: tripping on the fact that you ain't made a million yet.
- 7:56Speaker 1: You on your way. You don't went from your He thought,
- 7:58Speaker 1: this dude was making fifteen out knowls a year. You're
- 8:00Speaker 1: making quarter of a million dollars in two years. May
- 8:02Speaker 1: come on, man, can't you see can't you see? So?
- 8:07Speaker 1: He said? Eventually A man, I kind of see what
- 8:09Speaker 1: you're saying. But that ain't about nothing to me because
- 8:11Speaker 1: I ran up into him a year and a half later.
- 8:16Speaker 1: How you doing, man, man, I show wish I had
- 8:20Speaker 1: appreciated my life when I had it like that. I said,
- 8:23Speaker 1: what you may had it like that and just fell
- 8:25Speaker 1: on some hard times. Man, I'm right back why I was.
- 8:30Speaker 1: And then we talked. I said, hey, man, don't worry
- 8:32Speaker 1: about it. I said. Once you know how to accomplish something,
- 8:34Speaker 1: I said, you just reapply the same principles and start
- 8:37Speaker 1: on over again. Man, you know how hard it is
- 8:40Speaker 1: to be the start over. Okay, my man, hold up, partner,
- 8:42Speaker 1: you can do yourself like this again. First, she wasn't
- 8:45Speaker 1: grateful for what you had. Now you're looking at the
- 8:48Speaker 1: fact that you might have to start over, and you
- 8:50Speaker 1: know how hard it is to start over. But you
- 8:52Speaker 1: have the knowledge, the principles, and you got a little
- 8:55Speaker 1: bit of money to go on and get it going again.
- 8:57Speaker 1: I said, Man, don't keep doing this to yourself. I said, Man,
- 9:00Speaker 1: you ain't grateful no matter what God do for you.
- 9:02Speaker 1: So what you need to do, partner, stop reassess yourself
- 9:07Speaker 1: the fact that you were not grateful in the first place.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Could that be the reason why? You know? Man? Maybe
- 9:14Speaker 1: I'm not calling it cause I ain't God. I do
- 9:16Speaker 1: not know how he thinks, nor do I claim to know.
- 9:18Speaker 1: But let's just imagine for a moment. Let's just say,
- 9:23Speaker 1: maybe for a moment, maybe God said, Okay, you ain't
- 9:28Speaker 1: happy with this. Okay, didn't handle it your way? You
- 9:32Speaker 1: obviously ain't happy with the way I'm bringing it into
- 9:34Speaker 1: your life. You want to handle it your way, Go
- 9:36Speaker 1: ahead and handle it because He will let you have
- 9:38Speaker 1: it your way. Can I tell you that he will
- 9:41Speaker 1: let you do it exactly the way you want to
- 9:43Speaker 1: it because He gives us all the power of choice.
- 9:45Speaker 1: So then maybe he said, Okay, you don't appreciate the
- 9:48Speaker 1: way I'm doing it. You don't like the favor I'm
- 9:50Speaker 1: showing you, you think it's take it too long. I'm
- 9:52Speaker 1: gonna let you do it your way. I'm not gonna
- 9:54Speaker 1: turn my back on you. I'm just gonna let you
- 9:56Speaker 1: do it your way. Just just say. Maybe he said that,
- 10:00Speaker 1: and now he right back where he was. So what
- 10:02Speaker 1: I try to get the young cat to understand was, man,
- 10:05Speaker 1: appreciate your life for what it is. Because like um life,
- 10:10Speaker 1: Jenny's got that song that he got out off this album. Still,
- 10:13Speaker 1: I still believe it could have been worse. And now
- 10:16Speaker 1: that it is worse, what's on your mind now, folks,
- 10:21Speaker 1: if you are on that side of life where you
- 10:23Speaker 1: have figured out what you wanna do, you know how
- 10:25Speaker 1: you're gonna get there, and you know your purpose. You're
- 10:28Speaker 1: accomplishing what the majority of people never ever do. So
- 10:31Speaker 1: be grateful for your process. Don't tumble yourself, don't throw
- 10:35Speaker 1: yourself off the cliff. It's gonna be all right. Success
- 10:38Speaker 1: takes a measure of time. It is not easy. If
- 10:42Speaker 1: success were easy, everybody would be successful. All right, y'all.
- 10:47Speaker 1: I'm sorry this morning if I sounded a little all
- 10:50Speaker 1: over the place in a little jumble. But that's how
- 10:52Speaker 1: it came to me. So you know, uh, y'all, keep
- 10:56Speaker 1: your head up. Welcome to the ride, everybody. Welcome to
- 11:03Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. We are live in always
- 11:08Speaker 1: living color. Today's show is dedicated to everybody that voted
- 11:15Speaker 1: for Trump. You need This show is dedicated to everybody
- 11:25Speaker 1: that voted for Trump. To you too, Reset you want
- 11:33Speaker 1: to do over your vote back? Yeah, you can't go
- 11:40Speaker 1: along with none of this. You'll go along with any
- 11:43Speaker 1: of this right now? Any of this? There's something wrong
- 11:47Speaker 1: with you? Definitely? Is he going along with it? Everything
- 11:53Speaker 1: he says, everything he does? Are you kidding me? He
- 11:59Speaker 1: has a radio show on every day. Yeah, is riding
- 12:04Speaker 1: with his boy, Yes, the pizza guy. Yeah, you got
- 12:08Speaker 1: the kidding her pain is going with her and you
- 12:11Speaker 1: can't go with Yeah, Yeah, you can't go with it.
- 12:15Speaker 1: It's everybody, I know what's trying to distance. They say,
- 12:20Speaker 1: this airplane is going down. I'm jumping out. I got
- 12:24Speaker 1: a parachute. This is really different president. You know what,
- 12:31Speaker 1: I ain't listened to a lot of presidents. I'm just
- 12:34Speaker 1: gonna be honest. I've never really like listened to a
- 12:37Speaker 1: lot of these speeches when they just see yeah, because
- 12:40Speaker 1: when the speeches on, I go to sports, and because
- 12:42Speaker 1: sports don't interrupt nothing, Yeah, they give you something else
- 12:47Speaker 1: for sports. So I've never really listened to all of
- 12:50Speaker 1: the presidents. I haven't listen to all, but this got
- 12:55Speaker 1: to be the damned thist thing a president has ever
- 12:59Speaker 1: said ever. I mean, look, I can't think of it. Reagan,
- 13:05Speaker 1: Reagan looking real cool right now. All the bushes looking
- 13:09Speaker 1: good right now. You know, I'm even in disagreement with
- 13:12Speaker 1: Jesse Jackson. Stay in the bush, Stay out the bush.
- 13:16Speaker 1: I want to now, where the hell is the bush?
- 13:19Speaker 1: A jam starting to look good right now? Rubio starting
- 13:25Speaker 1: to look that coward. Cruise is starting to because I
- 13:29Speaker 1: really don't like Ted Cruise because he chicken. If you
- 13:32Speaker 1: talk about my wife and I'm not going up on stage.
- 13:37Speaker 1: How getting many pictures together, taking a picture of me
- 13:42Speaker 1: all my wife, Jean McCain cool, Oh yeah, that's my
- 13:47Speaker 1: name for Nixon. Nixon was cool. Water game took the
- 14:02Speaker 1: tape coup. You know how many times you didn't want
- 14:05Speaker 1: it to get a tape video text? How many you
- 14:13Speaker 1: can trying to keep back? I have tried to get
- 14:17Speaker 1: a memo back, memo. I wanted a memo back, and
- 14:26Speaker 1: then let me say something I didn't. I didn't think
- 14:29Speaker 1: nothing of it until I woke up one morning and
- 14:31Speaker 1: it was on see anything. All right, we gotta go,
- 14:37Speaker 1: Steve coming up. It's none of your business, none of you,
- 14:40Speaker 1: none of yours. We'll be back at thirty two. Haf
- 14:42Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 14:46Speaker 1: here we go, Jay Jr. Tell me it's none of
- 14:49Speaker 1: your business. Let's go. You want to playing. You see
- 14:56Speaker 1: things shirley from time to time, and if you see
- 14:59Speaker 1: it and it's happen, I don't care what it is.
- 15:02Speaker 1: It ain't your damn business. It's not it's not at all.
- 15:04Speaker 1: It's for instance, you in check you got to check, right,
- 15:09Speaker 1: somebody puts in a five. Yeah they put a five plate,
- 15:13Speaker 1: put the five in and they they got a twenty.
- 15:19Speaker 1: That got to do with y. I don't even know
- 15:23Speaker 1: how that hurts you. That is my business? Why what
- 15:29Speaker 1: is that? That could have been from last week? Old
- 15:33Speaker 1: you're probably gonna have got it, James last week. The
- 15:36Speaker 1: only word is if I'm sitting next to you and
- 15:40Speaker 1: I just put your twinter, that's the only one that
- 15:44Speaker 1: twin you get another twinter. But if you touch the
- 15:47Speaker 1: twin another, you gonna be in the past. You got it,
- 15:55Speaker 1: absolutely absolutely all right, junior, you got one up. I'll
- 15:58Speaker 1: tell you what. Wouldn't baby come out white and he
- 16:01Speaker 1: pitched black? That ain't been nothing. No, that's none of
- 16:04Speaker 1: your iven not say that. Let's go along with it.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Just go along with it. That's just go along. There
- 16:18Speaker 1: ain't none of your nobody. As a matter of fact,
- 16:24Speaker 1: just say what you know. I'm just saying that boy,
- 16:29Speaker 1: beautiful baby, I tell beautiful place. Let me say this ahead, man,
- 16:34Speaker 1: if you come home uh and your daddy got on
- 16:38Speaker 1: your mama blind that you that ain't none of my bit.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Just back out of that. Back come home and your
- 16:53Speaker 1: daddy got on your mama blind, you back back back
- 17:00Speaker 1: out and makes them coming in that you got a
- 17:08Speaker 1: co work that looks exactly like amble roll Okay. But
- 17:17Speaker 1: the next day he Beyonce, I, well I have come from.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Don't worry about it. Put it on, stay out of it.
- 17:38Speaker 1: I like that, all right, I got one of that one.
- 17:41Speaker 1: You know for a fact, your neighbor's lights are out.
- 17:45Speaker 1: You know the out, you know the out because he
- 17:48Speaker 1: ain't watching TV nothing. It's dog over there round eight o'clock.
- 17:53Speaker 1: But the next day you see him climbing that pole
- 17:56Speaker 1: to try to get his lights back on. Is that
- 17:59Speaker 1: your while you're talking what for what? Yeah, but you're
- 18:06Speaker 1: bringing that over that ain't got nothing to called like else?
- 18:13Speaker 1: All right? Well? Then what if you walk outside and
- 18:16Speaker 1: see a cop put a boot on your neighbor's car?
- 18:19Speaker 1: Is that that ain't none of your ass? You just
- 18:26Speaker 1: gotta keep walking, keep walking. I'll tell you something else
- 18:29Speaker 1: close to that. If I'm out in the parking lot
- 18:32Speaker 1: and a co worker mine that I do not care for,
- 18:36Speaker 1: and I see somebody steal in his car that he
- 18:39Speaker 1: meet it, it comes none of my Yeah he killed,
- 18:43Speaker 1: that transaction is completed. I'm probably ain't gonna say, give
- 18:50Speaker 1: me more pleasure to go back in there and go man,
- 18:54Speaker 1: I just saw somebody drive off the other car. I
- 18:58Speaker 1: actually saw him bust the one. That's a pleasure. It
- 19:01Speaker 1: took five minutes of hog, but I set through the
- 19:04Speaker 1: whole thing. If you don't like the you actually can't
- 19:08Speaker 1: assist it, and you ain't got to rush down coming out.
- 19:13Speaker 1: I got one. I think we all haven't seen this one.
- 19:17Speaker 1: I have seen somebody run through the parking lot at
- 19:20Speaker 1: the airport, get to the airport, to the ticketing and
- 19:24Speaker 1: then get in a wheelchair and roll right through with
- 19:28Speaker 1: somebody pushing them. That it ain't. But I really want
- 19:31Speaker 1: to say something coming confession. That one time cambled all
- 19:39Speaker 1: night and we was missing the flight. So when we
- 19:43Speaker 1: pulled up out the curtain, I told him I needed
- 19:47Speaker 1: a wheelchair. They gave me a wheelchair. You know in Vegas, man,
- 19:52Speaker 1: that airport line is. They took me to the front
- 19:56Speaker 1: of security, the front of TSA. I stood up real ginger,
- 20:03Speaker 1: put my stuff on the conveyor, but they walked that
- 20:05Speaker 1: wheel chair through. I went right on through that. The
- 20:07Speaker 1: lady came back with the wheelchair. I see the trains.
- 20:10Speaker 1: I'm good. I know business. You got here when you
- 20:20Speaker 1: saw the trade one, I got one at that one.
- 20:23Speaker 1: You see a lady, you see a lady. You see
- 20:27Speaker 1: a lady take a ham, You take a hand in
- 20:30Speaker 1: the ahead. He takes a ham, some chips, some sodas,
- 20:37Speaker 1: a pound of grapes, put him in a crotch and
- 20:40Speaker 1: walk right out. Not in them. Is that your business?
- 20:44Speaker 1: Does that bother you? That's a strong crotch, a lot
- 20:51Speaker 1: of stuff that you As a matter of fact, I
- 21:00Speaker 1: had to respect that you can put a hand holding
- 21:10Speaker 1: hand on Yeah, yeah, no, it's wrong to have her
- 21:27Speaker 1: number that when you go kind of like when you
- 21:30Speaker 1: see people go to the dressing room, they take five
- 21:34Speaker 1: shirts and they come back, but did they come back
- 21:38Speaker 1: with one? Put him on the phone. Alright, I got
- 21:43Speaker 1: your damn all right, this is it's time for nephew.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Tommy's run that frank back when we come back. You're
- 21:51Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. It's time now for
- 21:55Speaker 1: Tommy's run that brank back. What you got nef? What're
- 21:58Speaker 1: running back? Word? Gools? Calm worker's calm workers, calm worker,
- 22:05Speaker 1: car you can't say it, workers, calm. A lot of
- 22:12Speaker 1: paper winning there, porker's com many'll be on y'all. Haven't
- 22:21Speaker 1: had a little bit of it. I ain't never had.
- 22:24Speaker 1: It's a nice little check when you get it to men, workers,
- 22:28Speaker 1: nice check if you ain't doing nothing, you ain't working
- 22:31Speaker 1: else coming in at Yeah, but it ain't but a
- 22:35Speaker 1: piece of what you had when you were. Be happy
- 22:40Speaker 1: to get that though you will, but between those checks,
- 22:43Speaker 1: you're looking seriously for a job. And you're looking for

- 25:26Speaker 1: but I don't mean disrespect you. Is that because you're

- 27:29Speaker 1: Y'all think y'all can do illegal and talk to people crazy,

- 29:21Speaker 1: I got one more question, man, what is the baddest
- 29:24Speaker 1: and I mean the baddest radio show in the land,
- 29:27Speaker 1: of course, no doubt. Man. If the Steve Harvey Morning
- 29:31Speaker 1: Show always will be especially y'all don't got me like
- 29:34Speaker 1: this here keep here. I'm working on two people who
- 29:45Speaker 1: I'm working on. It's a t DJs them, the two.
- 29:50Speaker 1: I won't right Tommy first of all, Joe Old Steve
- 29:58Speaker 1: don't know you. Okay, he don't know me. I don't
- 30:02Speaker 1: want to get No, no, he won't see Now you're
- 30:07Speaker 1: into a whole another world. You were to reside and
- 30:09Speaker 1: you think you d make a fifth one time you're
- 30:15Speaker 1: going to because coming up you won't do. President Donald
- 30:23Speaker 1: Trump agrees to fund key Obamacare subsidies. We'll be back
- 30:28Speaker 1: to talk about that. Well, you know need somethod news.
- 30:32Speaker 1: You know who's gonna be able to get it, though
- 30:35Speaker 1: You're only gonna be able to get it Trump Care.
- 30:36Speaker 1: If you got a statue in front of you, you're
- 30:40Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show, Hey, listen, you don't
- 30:45Speaker 1: want to miss Joy Anthony Ground's murder the hit today.
- 30:49Speaker 1: We're gonna get to that. Jack all right, what's my Russian?
- 30:54Speaker 1: Nobody what you're saying though, if you're in the news,
- 30:58Speaker 1: if you no, I don't have anybody listen to news today.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Nobody did anything. Yeah yeah, yeah, So coming up later
- 31:14Speaker 1: in the morning, j Anthony Brown's murder the Hit. But first,
- 31:17Speaker 1: the federal government government will keep funding key Obamacare subsidies
- 31:22Speaker 1: this month, despite President Trump's threat to end those payments,
- 31:27Speaker 1: which total about seven billion dollars this year. The White
- 31:30Speaker 1: House confirmed the decision to cover August cost sharing payments
- 31:34Speaker 1: yesterday afternoon. The move comes a day after the Congressional
- 31:37Speaker 1: Budget Office warned that cutting off federal funding would cause
- 31:41Speaker 1: Obamacare premiums to soar another beyond the latest projections. Trump
- 31:47Speaker 1: had threatened to end the payments for low income Obama
- 31:50Speaker 1: customers after Senate Republicans failed to pass a bill to
- 31:53Speaker 1: replace the Affordable Care Act. Uh, those payments are worth
- 31:57Speaker 1: and estimated, like I said, seven billion dollars a year.
- 32:00Speaker 1: Who's um, how's that repeal and replaced Obamacare going not
- 32:05Speaker 1: not so gown? Yeah? Yeah, you know why because they
- 32:08Speaker 1: had too many good components to it, got a couple
- 32:11Speaker 1: of problems in it, but they're making it like it's
- 32:14Speaker 1: it's not an inherited problem. Healthcare premiums traditionally go up
- 32:19Speaker 1: the same amount every year, and it's not no five
- 32:22Speaker 1: percent increase either. It's a big jump. It's nationally that's
- 32:27Speaker 1: been happening for years. Now, you want a dumping on
- 32:29Speaker 1: Obamacare when it's been happening for years. But remember when
- 32:34Speaker 1: the news media asked people the two questions, how do
- 32:38Speaker 1: you feel about the Obamacare? I don't like it at all.
- 32:41Speaker 1: I don't like it. How do you feel about it? For?
- 32:43Speaker 1: But oh, that's good that the Republicans did a masterful
- 32:50Speaker 1: job of painting a picture at Obamacare's this big, evil
- 32:56Speaker 1: crisis that's hit America and it's the ruination of this country.
- 33:00Speaker 1: When it's not. It did so many great things for
- 33:03Speaker 1: people with number one pre existing They kept kids on
- 33:10Speaker 1: their parents coverage a lot longer because they couldn't get it. Look, man,
- 33:15Speaker 1: your kid twenty two, He can't fall off your policy. Boy,
- 33:19Speaker 1: ain't got nothing. And so it did so many good things.
- 33:24Speaker 1: But they ran on repeal and replaced repeal in place,
- 33:27Speaker 1: and now that they got it, the Republicans can't even
- 33:31Speaker 1: repeal and replace it because they have nothing to repeal
- 33:35Speaker 1: it and nothing. Nothing. They've just been lying to people.
- 33:40Speaker 1: And if they do repeal and replace it, they got
- 33:42Speaker 1: to explain the same people and put them in why
- 33:46Speaker 1: you didn't took their health care from because a lot
- 33:48Speaker 1: of people got healthcare that didn't have nothing. Seventy three
- 33:53Speaker 1: days for your hour, for the three minutes that's when
- 33:58Speaker 1: the moving trucks would be en up to the fight house.
- 34:01Speaker 1: That's how much time we got lem hunted seve me
- 34:03Speaker 1: three days. He's gonna quit me for the four years.
- 34:08Speaker 1: He's gonna quit. He's not gonna make the home for you.
- 34:12Speaker 1: You don't think so. No, he's gonna quit. I think
- 34:14Speaker 1: I think the main thing, the real thing for me.
- 34:17Speaker 1: It's my opinion. He's really upset about this investigation. That's
- 34:21Speaker 1: what's really the Russia investigation that's upset, and and he's
- 34:29Speaker 1: just starting to fight with everybody over us. Your wife
- 34:34Speaker 1: gonna quit first. Yeah, I don't know that he's gonna quit.
- 34:38Speaker 1: He just doesn't seem to me. I mean, with the
- 34:41Speaker 1: success that he's had throughout his life, time to be
- 34:45Speaker 1: a quitter to stop. I don't think it's gonna quit.
- 34:47Speaker 1: But I'll tell you what though, traditionally the sitting president
- 34:52Speaker 1: always runs again because the disaster for the Republican Party
- 34:57Speaker 1: is to come in with the replacement that was then
- 34:59Speaker 1: at meant that their president fa So they normally take
- 35:04Speaker 1: the sitting president and make him run again. The problem
- 35:07Speaker 1: you have now is how many people are truly disgrunted
- 35:12Speaker 1: with him. But now remember this, folks, did we not
- 35:15Speaker 1: think that after the tour bus scandal, they're grabbing the
- 35:20Speaker 1: woman by her pete? Did we not think that would
- 35:23Speaker 1: be the end? I thought, I just knew. I said,
- 35:25Speaker 1: I said, that's it, that's it. You can't degrade women
- 35:28Speaker 1: like that, and everybody could vote for him. But then
- 35:33Speaker 1: Comy came back a few days after that and talked
- 35:37Speaker 1: about Hillary's email. That tell you something, man, Oh what's this?
- 35:46Speaker 1: Boy used to be? Giuliani was sitting Fox and he said,
- 35:52Speaker 1: we have something big before it even came out, and
- 35:55Speaker 1: they knew. And then two days later he came to
- 35:57Speaker 1: announcement about the email and that email crushed that Hillary
- 36:02Speaker 1: Clinton and crush is the opportunity that emails. That was
- 36:08Speaker 1: one of the most damning things that happened in that
- 36:10Speaker 1: whole thing. And boy, they played up on that, but
- 36:13Speaker 1: they went up and they voted for this reality so
- 36:17Speaker 1: and um, and it was quite telling what you said.
- 36:20Speaker 1: I think it was yesterday about the woman with a
- 36:22Speaker 1: T shirt said Donald Trump can't grab might and he
- 36:28Speaker 1: had an arrow. And I'm just going one a minute, man,
- 36:32Speaker 1: what's what's wrong with our world today? And this was
- 36:34Speaker 1: not no young girl, no, no, no, this was he
- 36:45Speaker 1: Trump grabbed up when they won't. Yeah, you know. Yeah.
- 36:51Speaker 1: And so in four years when it's time to re
- 36:54Speaker 1: up the new president, I just wonder, really what the
- 36:57Speaker 1: Republicans are gonna do. And the Democrats better learn how
- 37:01Speaker 1: to fight because they better not do what the Republicans
- 37:04Speaker 1: did with Obama. They we got to prepare candidate now today,
- 37:08Speaker 1: You're right, was the face of the Democrats we got? Yeah, alright,
- 37:12Speaker 1: Kanye right now? I think Kanye the first one? Yeah,
- 37:18Speaker 1: look real good? Right now. Butterfly, butterfly waiting in the wings.
- 37:22Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 37:26Speaker 1: we go back and forth on this one. Jay, I
- 37:28Speaker 1: think it's your turn. It is one day to do it.
- 37:32Speaker 1: But yeah, yea for the one. Yes, yes he is good.
- 37:42Speaker 1: Stephen Flood of your wings, girl, you know how to
- 37:49Speaker 1: bring me out the best. You make me want to
- 37:55Speaker 1: get some licorice. Anyway, it's a good morning's Stephen Shirley
- 37:59Speaker 1: Carl Tommy Jr. Speaking Hey, Hey, Steve, how are you
- 38:15Speaker 1: doing today? No? No, no, how are you I'm getting?
- 38:20Speaker 1: Come on, take us down? What you got? Can me
- 38:23Speaker 1: take us down? Now? It's uplifting. It's Friday, Stephen. Don't
- 38:27Speaker 1: act like that. It's a beautiful, beautiful Friday. And this
- 38:29Speaker 1: is about Stephen. This is about getting getting close to
- 38:34Speaker 1: people that you're not close to. And that's something to
- 38:37Speaker 1: do this weekend. So I'm thinking you and I, okay,
- 38:42Speaker 1: maybe maybe just do something an excursion this weekend. I'm working,
- 38:50Speaker 1: you work doing the working I'm working. No, you don't.
- 38:54Speaker 1: I don't need the boys do all of the stand
- 38:56Speaker 1: up working. You don't. You weren't doing the week So
- 38:59Speaker 1: I'm thinking you and I can go go cart riding
- 39:03Speaker 1: this weekend. I have the goggles and a scarf for
- 39:07Speaker 1: both of us. That's going around. Yeah, you know, so
- 39:15Speaker 1: we don't get no bugs eyes, but we can get
- 39:17Speaker 1: anna that saying that? Are you saying down? Listen, We're
- 39:27Speaker 1: gonna go cart and something that I really like to do.
- 39:30Speaker 1: We gotta get on a pogo stick. You remember stick.
- 39:36Speaker 1: We gonna just bounce around on that stick and have
- 39:38Speaker 1: some fun. You know, we could raise one another. It
- 39:43Speaker 1: would be good. We're just I'm just wanting us to
- 39:45Speaker 1: get out and do something so that we can be
- 39:47Speaker 1: more comfortable around each other. Okay, because Colin is not
- 39:51Speaker 1: on the psychiatrists called to me to every time she calling,
- 39:54Speaker 1: I gotta pay you. But we like her though. We
- 39:57Speaker 1: must say that Steve definitely like her. The psychiatrist, the
- 40:01Speaker 1: therapist bear yeah, because really it's slid. Yeah, she just
- 40:09Speaker 1: tells the truth. She did tell me that you and
- 40:13Speaker 1: I tried. Need to try and do something again. Like
- 40:15Speaker 1: what if we went we don't need one bike? What
- 40:18Speaker 1: if we went bank riding? You know, I ride on
- 40:20Speaker 1: the handballs on the back seat and you can't do bicycle,
- 40:26Speaker 1: but on the on the on the handlebar, the hand
- 40:31Speaker 1: I just ride be hand you. I ride behind you
- 40:38Speaker 1: and hold on to your way like a motorcycle. Yeah,
- 40:42Speaker 1: like the amount of cycle and when the when and
- 40:46Speaker 1: when the wind is blown. If you can't hear me,
- 40:48Speaker 1: then I just talked into your ear. Okay, we gotta go.
- 40:52Speaker 1: Coming up after the break, Anthony Brown is gonna Murder
- 40:56Speaker 1: another hit, will be back at thirty four after the
- 40:59Speaker 1: hour you're listening to the Steve Show. Come on. Steve
- 41:06Speaker 1: introduced Jay, It's time for murder another hit yet take offense,

- 45:30Speaker 1: boy came there, said, hey, daddy, I ain't got no kids.
- 45:36Speaker 1: I'm so scared of that. I got him, never went
- 45:40Speaker 1: back and she was fine too. Oh what daddy, I
- 45:47Speaker 1: ain't got nothing to help nobody with. All right, coming
- 45:51Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, right about four
- 45:53Speaker 1: minutes after coming up next nephew Timmys prying phone call.
- 45:56Speaker 1: We'll be back. You're listening, Steve Morning Show. Alright, coming

- 46:03Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, get ready for today's Strawberry letter.
- 46:07Speaker 1: But up next, nephew Tommy's prank phone call. Y'all need
- 46:11Speaker 1: to do something about that pecan tree. Y'all need to
- 46:17Speaker 1: do something about that pecan tree. He's so angry. How
- 46:23Speaker 1: you sign on the phone. You tell like this, Yeah,
- 46:29Speaker 1: you don't need to do something about that pecan tree.
- 46:34Speaker 1: You're gonna get done whispering. Try it, try it. Let's see,
- 46:44Speaker 1: I don't worry. Y'all need to do something about that
- 46:48Speaker 1: pecan tree. Right, that's better. That's much better. Let me
- 46:55Speaker 1: do y'all need to huh what you say? Is that
- 46:59Speaker 1: any way we can discuss the pe country? Yeah, that's bad.
- 47:04Speaker 1: That's definitely the way it should go. That's nicer, nicer,
- 47:08Speaker 1: not whispering, though, y'all that's too much. Need to do
- 47:14Speaker 1: something about the pecan Nobody asked you to say. Yeah, Hello, Hello,
- 47:28Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach uh lc hey, let me let
- 47:33Speaker 1: me Hey. My name is Marcus, uh My my mama
- 47:36Speaker 1: name a little next dough to you, uh Mr and
- 47:39Speaker 1: mrs My mom and daddy little next dough to you.
- 47:41Speaker 1: And I was calling because y'all gotta pa country in
- 47:45Speaker 1: your backyard, I mean right on the fish line and
- 47:49Speaker 1: to keep you know, pecan and stuff keep falling over
- 47:52Speaker 1: to my mom and theam yard. So I'm told to
- 47:54Speaker 1: see if y'all can do something man where y'all can
- 47:58Speaker 1: pick up I mean, my mama them they got a
- 48:00Speaker 1: little older. You know we've been picking them up for
- 48:02Speaker 1: a long time, but I need somebody to, like, maybe
- 48:05Speaker 1: you can cut the lions back that's hanging over so
- 48:08Speaker 1: that they won't you know, the pecans won't be falling
- 48:11Speaker 1: over into my mom and them yard because you know,
- 48:13Speaker 1: for them to be bending over like they're picking up
- 48:15Speaker 1: their paca, and it's a lot of them. So, you know, Mr,
- 48:18Speaker 1: I just wanted to how let you and see if
- 48:20Speaker 1: you don't mind maybe cutting the limbs back, because even
- 48:23Speaker 1: when we turned the lamo on and stuff, man, it
- 48:25Speaker 1: just you know, the beacons and stuff be coming out
- 48:28Speaker 1: of the lamo just shooting all over the place. Well,
- 48:31Speaker 1: first of all, Mama coms old com. You know it's well,
- 48:38Speaker 1: and I can't see me cutting it well, I mean not.
- 48:42Speaker 1: I'm not saying you can maintain your y'all, but I
- 48:48Speaker 1: mean you your mother, you can maintain your mother's yaw.
- 48:52Speaker 1: So I go by my mother's house, you know, every
- 48:55Speaker 1: other day and check on them, But I don't have
- 48:57Speaker 1: time to go on the back and pick up pecans
- 48:59Speaker 1: and stuff. You know what I'm saying. I mean, if
- 49:01Speaker 1: you just it don't seem no more than like maybe
- 49:03Speaker 1: four or five limbs that's hanging over there. But them
- 49:06Speaker 1: four or five limbs, I mean they they there's a
- 49:08Speaker 1: lot of pecans falling off of that. So if Macon
- 49:12Speaker 1: tree to say I go back there, there's no no
- 49:16Speaker 1: kind of nothing back the okay whatever, sir. I'm not
- 49:22Speaker 1: cutting my tree for a little like that. Sir. Listen,
- 49:25Speaker 1: what I'm what I'm trying to get you to do
- 49:26Speaker 1: is I'm not I don't want you cutting your entire
- 49:28Speaker 1: tree down. I just want you to cut a few limbs, sir,
- 49:31Speaker 1: so you know those that way that those are the
- 49:34Speaker 1: ones that are hanging over it won't be you know,
- 49:36Speaker 1: the pecans won't be falling over into my mom's them yard.
- 49:39Speaker 1: And and and you know, like I said, they're older now, man,
- 49:41Speaker 1: they can't be bending over like that. So you know,
- 49:44Speaker 1: I'm I'm just coming to you as a man right
- 49:46Speaker 1: now and asking you when you please cut this down
- 49:49Speaker 1: to these pecans can quit falling over my mom and
- 49:51Speaker 1: them yard. I'm asking you. All you can do is
- 49:54Speaker 1: hire someone, Okay, someone I know your mother. Don't cut
- 49:58Speaker 1: your yard. No, it's it's a it's a guy that
- 50:01Speaker 1: cuts the yard. But even when he cutting the yard,
- 50:03Speaker 1: these pecans is flying out from underneath the yard. The
- 50:07Speaker 1: law more that soon, a lady, we're gonna be breaking
- 50:09Speaker 1: windows over that. What kind of lord person you have
- 50:13Speaker 1: that don't pick up before they cut? Why am I
- 50:16Speaker 1: arguing with you about picking up stuff and all of this?
- 50:18Speaker 1: I'm asking you to cut a funky left five limbs
- 50:21Speaker 1: so these dogs onna pecans ain't are falling off my
- 50:24Speaker 1: mama yard. You you want to cut, you you're gonna
- 50:27Speaker 1: make me come over here and cut the hold. I
- 50:29Speaker 1: would come cut the whole damn tree down. You ain't
- 50:32Speaker 1: gonna put my tree. I grew that tree from when
- 50:35Speaker 1: I was the kids, and that long I stay though, sir, look,
- 50:40Speaker 1: I didn't ask you like a man to cut your
- 50:42Speaker 1: little funking pecan tree down. Now. I ain't in the hat?
- 50:46Speaker 1: What what gus? What you you you bad? You can't
- 50:51Speaker 1: cut it. I've been look sir out tonight today rather
- 50:55Speaker 1: this evening. It's either gonna be two things happening. Either
- 50:59Speaker 1: you're gonna cut the five limbs that I won't cut.
- 51:01Speaker 1: I'm gonna cut, cut the whole damn for corn tree down.
- 51:05Speaker 1: That's my tree in any game, nobody with my tree.
- 51:08Speaker 1: I'm here right now, I'm you're not here in the
- 51:10Speaker 1: yard right now? Come on, is you over that right now?

- 51:28Speaker 1: I ain't used my creaking something in along top. Any way,
- 51:32Speaker 1: I've been waiting on them like you. You didn't lost
- 51:35Speaker 1: your damn mind. You live, y'all. Cook. I told you
- 51:38Speaker 1: once and I told you twice. I'm old. You're young.
- 51:43Speaker 1: Don't do that. See that's what's right. Then. You know
- 51:46Speaker 1: what you can do? Tell your mom to make up
- 51:48Speaker 1: a car. What you say by my mom? Tell her
- 51:52Speaker 1: to make corn pop and come for me. Tip Tell

- 55:56Speaker 1: it's cutting off payments to more than three dozen hate
- 55:59Speaker 1: groups and its streamist organizations, including all Right dot com um,
- 56:05Speaker 1: a white nationalist group led by Richard Spencer. The move
- 56:08Speaker 1: comes in the wake of last week's violent white nationalist
- 56:11Speaker 1: rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. The online payment company uh says,
- 56:16Speaker 1: regardless of the individual or organization in question, we work
- 56:20Speaker 1: to ensure that our services are not used to accept
- 56:24Speaker 1: payments or donations for activities that promote hate, violence, or
- 56:29Speaker 1: racial intolerance. I love that. Yeah. A day earlier, the
- 56:34Speaker 1: Southern Poverty Law Center and Advocacy organization specializing in civil
- 56:39Speaker 1: rights says PayPal was used by hate groups to raise fund.
- 56:43Speaker 1: Other payment companies like Visa and MasterCard are being encouraged
- 56:47Speaker 1: to follow suit and stop doing business with hate groups.
- 56:50Speaker 1: Discover already announced that it has terminated merchant agreements with
- 56:54Speaker 1: hate groups. That's one way like that, Yeah, particular hate
- 57:00Speaker 1: have done that and get your money on it. Just
- 57:02Speaker 1: like down at the croker. You're making this out right right. Yes,
- 57:22Speaker 1: you didn't pick up money and then they wouldn't give me. Man, Man,
- 57:25Speaker 1: you ain't got that code. Man. That is the worst
- 57:28Speaker 1: sealing in the world. That is the worst because you
- 57:31Speaker 1: need that money and it timesbody sending you money. You
- 57:33Speaker 1: need that money, man, and you get the cash right past.
- 57:37Speaker 1: You send some money and they won't release it. How
- 57:41Speaker 1: do you know this person? It was? I sent the money?
- 57:48Speaker 1: How long you know faith? I'm telling you, man, Or
- 57:52Speaker 1: you send somebody some money and they worried the hell
- 57:55Speaker 1: out of you. Did you send it? Did you send it?
- 57:58Speaker 1: Did you send it? I got stuff to do. Did
- 58:01Speaker 1: you say what? Asking for money and rushing? This is
- 58:06Speaker 1: messing up my day waiting for the money. A friend
- 58:09Speaker 1: of mine just put cash cash in a card and
- 58:14Speaker 1: mailed it in a regular mailbox. Who does that mean
- 58:16Speaker 1: a lot of people like a birthday card? Yeah, like
- 58:21Speaker 1: a birthday Yeah, they're taking that. That could be dangerous.
- 58:26Speaker 1: I'm waiting here all day long. I don't have all
- 58:28Speaker 1: day to wait put this money. When is this money coming?
- 58:33Speaker 1: Because every twenty minutes. I noticed they call every every twenties.
- 58:38Speaker 1: You made it over there, yet I'm at the bait
- 58:41Speaker 1: getting your money. Okay? Yeah, yeah, yeah, this is messing
- 58:46Speaker 1: up my day. I got stuff to do. And why
- 58:49Speaker 1: you put it way over there? I gotta driveway on
- 58:51Speaker 1: the other side of town. They don't have one close
- 58:54Speaker 1: to where I live. Yeah, they say that you send
- 58:58Speaker 1: people money to that's what that crazy. Yeah, I didn't
- 59:02Speaker 1: know that. They called you every moment on it. That's
- 59:07Speaker 1: what makes you hurt. Yeah, because they've got on your nerves.
- 59:12Speaker 1: They really need it, They really need it. Man. Yeah,
- 59:15Speaker 1: you're trying to help out and they take an hour
- 59:20Speaker 1: or two for them to get it. You might as
- 59:23Speaker 1: well tell somebody they getting the executed. They make not
- 59:27Speaker 1: because the weight get you here on the other end
- 59:30Speaker 1: of the phone. How long they take? How long? Yeah? Man,
- 59:36Speaker 1: damn man, No, you can't call them and tell them
- 59:39Speaker 1: put a rush on it. No, I did my part.
- 59:45Speaker 1: Or they call you with the people on the phone,
- 59:47Speaker 1: they call coming outside. I have something similar to that
- 59:57Speaker 1: on my phone. I have the cash app. You guys
- 59:59Speaker 1: have the CA kids. Oh my god, every five minutes,
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: so she's calling me. Did you send it yet? Yes,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: I said it. They will turn you out and you
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: go back out there and turn it back on. In
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: the hood when I was out of work, I had
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: to reconnection. So oh yeah, you mean you did every
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: time your kissing. You got that story. I have to
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: get it all right, all right, NewView, Let's do the letter.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: Let's do it. Buckle up and hold on. Type we
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: gotta fight you in the Strawberry Ladder. Subject selfish or
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: being played just Steven, Shirley Steve. I met a man recently,
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: the type that most women would love to have. Tall
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: six three pounds, College professor Hey Moner, forty one years old.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: I am cute, sexy, fifty and enjoying my life. We
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: have a lot in common music, church, art, school, and
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: several other things. We've had some really special moments together,
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: great chemistry. He is a single parent, born in Nigeria,
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: living in California raising two boys. I met him before
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: the boys came to live with him. Now that the
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: boys are here, obviously his days are full. I see
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: him maybe once or twice every week if I am lucky. Nowadays,
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: I have registered my concerns with him regarding this. He
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: seems to think that I am not being understanding or
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: sympathetic to how busy his days can become. When we
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: do get together, now we go out to dinner, a movie,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: and a night between the sheets. I've raised four kids
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: as well, but I always made time for date. Even
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: when I was married, my husband and I went out
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: on date. I have stopped the between the sheets dates
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: because I'm beginning to think he makes time for me
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: only when he wants some special attention, and my eyes,
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: it boils down to him getting what he wants while
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: I am liking the quality time I want from him.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: He texts. He texts during the day to say hello
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: or send an email from work, but rarely do we
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: talk over the phone. Now, even when we do speak
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: over the phone, sometimes his English can be hard to understand.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: What do you think, Steve, am I the selfish one
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: as he puts it? Or is he simply playing me
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: der self selfish are being played. Uh. You know, I'm
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: just of the belief that people make time for what
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: they want to make time for. I just don't think
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: anyone is that busy. Yeah, the boys are there, so
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: there has to be better time management on his part.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: But of course it can be done. People do it
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: all the time. Uh. Now you see him once or
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: twice a week if you're lucky, you say, and you've
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: spoken to him about it. Uh, You've let him know
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: how you feel. Uh, I just say the rest is
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: up to you. Now. If you don't want just dinner,
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: a movie and a night between the sheets, as you
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: call it, then stop. You say you've stopped the nights
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: between the sheets. All I can say is you control you. Uh.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: He can't do anything if you don't want him to
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: do it. So uh, if you know, all of a
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: sudden he's changed his ways, maybe baby Mama's come back,
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: maybe some other stuff is going on. But trust me,
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: if he really really really wanted to be with you,
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: he would be with you. And that's the bottom line.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: I don't think you're being selfish. I think you're onto
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: something and uh, maybe you need to really have a
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: serious talk with them about it twelve minutes after Ko Cracker.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: Any codes in this one, lots of them. You're listening
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show, all right, coming up
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: in about twenty minutes. Get ready for another exciting episode
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: of What Steve Harvey Morning Shows. Bad acting theater, it's
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: so harper it's called the Chapman's But come on, Steve.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: Finished with your response to part two of today's Strawberry Letter,
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: A subjects selfish or being played Steven Shirley. I met
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: a man recently, the type that most women would love
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: to have. Tall six ft three, two hundred and thirty
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: five pounds, college professor, homeowner, forty one years old. Now
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: I'm acute, sexy, fifty and enjoying my life. We have
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: a lot in common music, church, arts, school, and several
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: other things. We've had some really special moments together, great chemistry.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: He's a single parent, born in Nigeria, living in California,
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: raising two boys. I met him before the boys came
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: to live with him. Now that the boys are here,
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: obviously his days are full. I see him maybe once
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: or twice a week if I'm lucky. Nowadays, I've registered
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: my concerns with him Regarding this, he seemed to think
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: that I'm not being understanding or sympathetic to how busy
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: his days can become. When we do get together now
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: we go out to dinner. When we do get together,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: now we go out to dinner, a movie, and a
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: night between the sheets. I've raised four kids as well,
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: but always made time for date. Even when I was married,
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: my husband and I went out on dates. I have
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: stopped in between the sheet dates because I'm beginning to
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: think he makes time for me only when he wants
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: some special attention. In my eyes, it boils down to
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: him getting what he wants while I am lacking the
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: quality time that I want from him. He may text
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: doing a day to say hello or send an email
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: from work, but rarely do we talk over the phone. Now.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: Even when we do speak over the phone, sometimes his
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: English can be hard to understand. What do you think, Steve,
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: Am I the selfish one as he puts it? Or
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: is he simply playing me? Well? You know you have
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: met this Nigerian dude. He's six three, two thirty five pounds,
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: college professor, homeowner, forty one years old. You know, and
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: you you say yourself that this is somebody that most
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: women would love to have. And then you say you
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: cute actually in fifty enjoying your life. Um, if you
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: enjoying your life so much, but now you seem to
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: have complicated it. But I don't really see the problem though. Uh,
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: his two boys have come and now he has custody
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: of my guests and moved in with him. Okay, he's
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: forty one, so I'm assuming that the boys have should
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: be probably teenagers somewhere. That takes some time. It really
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: really does, man, especially when you're a single father and
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: you're trying to keep these boys on the straight and arrow.
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: I think that maybe, just maybe the man could be
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: quite busy. But then, like Shirley said, when a man
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: wants to make time for something he wants, he gonna
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: make time for it. Well, he is making time. You say,
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: y'all only uh go out a couple of times a week, now,
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: I think that's what she said. We do that. We
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: go to dinner, a movie, and the night between the sheets. Now,
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: you raised folk kids yourself, but you always made time
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: for dates. Even when I was married, my husband and
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: I went out on dates. Well, you and your husband
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: lived at the same house. See see you in two
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: separate households. Right now. You can't ride his house from
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: from cross town no more than you expected him to
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: run your house from cross town. So I think that
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: you are being a big selfish But then here's the
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: thing that sticks out. You say, he only has time
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: for me when he wants some special attention. That's most people.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: Or could it be that he's making the time for
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: you that he has while he's still trying to raise
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: his boys. And yeah, he wants some special attention and
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: you do too. But now you've cut off the between
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: the sheet dates because you think that's what it is.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: But see, wasn't that what it was for you too though?
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: So not he ain't on of won't getting cut out,
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: You're getting cut out too. Sometimes ladies, y'all seem to
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: think that that's the cure all for everything. And you
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: gotta stop thinking that. You gotta stop thinking if you
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: quit giving up when he's supposed to say cooking no
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: more cause of that lady with the email, okay, cool cookie,
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: what do we say it was cookie? We try to
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: call it something else when she was wrong. So when
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: you you think if you cut the cookie off, that
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: that's the answer to everything that your cookie might not
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: have nothing to do with it. You know, maybe you're
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: really driving the wedge between this man because maybe you
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: ain't being an understanding of how busy is life and
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: God he has these two boys that just got in
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: there with him, and he trying to tighten up the ship.
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: It could be that the man is that busy. Kids
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: take time. Now, let's get to He sends your email.
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: But we were rarely talk over the phone. Now here's
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: what we're getting into. Even when we do speak over
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: the phone, sometimes his English can be hard to understand.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: What do you think, Steve? And myself is one okay,
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: wait a minute, hold on how where are all of
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: a sudden the English guy? That what I want? That's
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: where I need to go. So what I want to
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: do right now? Sherley, I want you to be the
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: woman and ask me some questions. I'm gonna be the
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: Nigerian and we're gonna see how what the line I
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: think it could be? But hello, hey manby how you doing?
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: I am fine? How you I'm good? Thank you? I
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: was wondering, you know, if we could get together tonight
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: for date night? Anna what I said? I am now honey,
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: I just want to know if we can get together
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: for a date. That that's all. What are you saying?
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: I said? And listen to me, Kevin. I'm listening all right, Steve,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: we gotta go. You can email or instagram us your
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: thoughts on today's Strawberry Letter at my Girl. Surely. I

- 1:12:36Speaker 1: worry about Bogd because Bogard, mama, it's Bouregard. Sorry. Before
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: we start, here's a phone call from George Wallace as
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: to why he didn't show up. Hopefully it was not
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: my fault or the phone that comes from. Don't write
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: my part out, don't write up your holding right here,
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: don't come back over here. I got come on you right.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: I want to know we've been talking to each other
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: like that, long years, longer than that? Oh yeah, like
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: thirty yeah, thirty years, long time. Man. Okay, who needs
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: him or his mama? Wait a minute, Yes that's great. Yeah,
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: I'm so sorry. Now let's get back to this week's episode.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: We call it Where's My Money Now. We start off
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: this week by listening to Earl, who's in his office
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: talking to himself just in. I have an ideal. I'm
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: going to write a memo all all the Poke Ryan
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: producers in the country and asked them to vote for me,
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: and I'll be a win win for everybody. Let's vote now.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: Don't call or talk to me when you see me
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: in the hallway, because hell, I'm busy. Wait a minute, memo.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: That's how Steve Harvey got here. Now, let's listen in
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: on Chester played by Tommy, who's been kidnapped by Frenchie,
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: who should have been played by George Wallace, also played
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: by Tommy. Shut up, shut up, shut up, all the crime. Well,
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: I'll give you something to cry about, like I'll make
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: your watch old movie star on me and just just play.
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: I'm just gonna play my part. Leave. Please don't do that.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: I'll be quiet. I should help my daddy pay for
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: the ransom Moody so I could go whatever. A million
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: dollars in your business playing and you'll never see your star. Well,
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: i'll tell you what. I'll give you two million to
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: keep you. Now. Let's now, let's listen. In this KK
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: talks to Beauregard about the money he promised from the
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: information she gave him to bring down Earl. Stop playing, Beauregard.
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: I know it's you. I don't put my foot up
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: in you and Reverend ad noise behind it. If I
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: don't give my money and my patty pass Patty, Patty,
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: compleave a message and someone will call you back. Keep
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: playing if you want to Beauregard, this is gonna end
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: real ugly, I promise you. But guess what, Junior heard
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: kk's conversation. I knew it. I knew it. I knew
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: KK was trying to sell Dad out. She's up to
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: no good and I'm gonna tell Dad and he'll be
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: out of me. Shut up, Junior. Join us next week
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: when you'll hear KK all up in Beauregard and Reverend
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: ad Nords behind. Where is my money? Raing had no?
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: Where is my money? For? Father? Jesus? Oh lord, Oh
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: what I told you this would happen. I'm not gonna
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: stop one of y'all paid off my money, oh father?
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: Join us next week for the Chapman's This has been
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: your host, Shirley Strawberry, Thank thank I like the stupid
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: it's bad acting. You ain't you gotta work? Yeah? Who
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: was who was the executive producer of this? So well?
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: We don't know who it is. He's the writer? Okay,
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: all this hill? Do you see us getting picked up at?
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: Bad actors? Really bad? About as bad as your reading?
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: When you ain't post to sound good? Had that called it?
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: Steve Hubby is great acting and we miss up to Yeah,
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: I'm calling what it is? Yeah, Reverse psychology, but surely
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: got to keep reading. She keep a polyguy. He's so bushy.
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: Bad apologies why we call it bad? I'm so suy.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: You're listening, Steve hard morning. Yeah, they were auctioning off
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: on fantasy Yeah, they were auctioning off players in fantasy football.
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: But the term auction and the players, they don't They
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: didn't mean it because they were looking him as football players.
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: But you know, some people took not right now, not
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: not not not not a good time to hold off.
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: I don't give it them. They got a hell many
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: pans on yeah nothing or not. Somebody I was looking
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: on TV. Some official now, Oh, General General Robert E.
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: Lee's great grandson has spoke out and said this violence
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: is not what he stood for, and he would be ashamed.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: He said, I think these statues should be taken down
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: and placed in some form of New Zealand, as you suggested.
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: As you suggested, but as anyone lestay get anyone is anyone, well,
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: they're gonna have to listen because and that's that's the
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: smart way to do it. Like I said, the African
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: American Museum had to be here. We gotta buy the
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: Motown Museum. You know, we gotta have the Civil Rights Museum.
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: We gotta raise money for all this stuff Black people,
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: white people contribute to. But everybody got to raise money
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: to keep these things alive that we care about. You
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: care about the Civil War and the Confederate flag and
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: all these generals, No problem, get your money together, get
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: you a building, and have you a museum, and that
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: way you can go into it. And then if you
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: don't want to go in there, or you don't want
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: to have it in your face, you don't have to
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: see it. That's that's real sing. And then everybody can
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: live the American dream. Freedom of speech. And are you're
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: gonna say what the hell you want from? Say something else?
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: You need to do? Though, let me just go and
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: put this out there. Have you ever been to Stone
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: Mountain in Georgia? Has seen the Laser Show? Okay? And
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: I packed my family up Levin. Yeah, I got my
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: family up and left. But what because I'm not sitting
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: through this many The Laser Show is supposed to be
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: an attaining but it's all about the South. It's all
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: about these generals ride and stones, roll and horses and
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: the South arise again and the hell Billy be standing
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: up Raven flat. Isn't that a round where the KKK started?
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: So I said, hold up, man, it ain't for my family.
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: So I told my family, get up. I got the
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: sprinter ball background. There we out of here. I'm trying
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: to sit up here. This this ain't nothing. This finish
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: it's shocking, ain't when you see that, when you see
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: him ride up the mountain, that's that's that's at the
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: end when they liked the mountain up dog and then
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: they'd be standing up saying it caling. I'll be going, no, man,
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: the South ain't rising again. And this is in modern
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: day Stone. This is the closing presentation in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: In Stone Mountain, Georgia, and all about the Confederates. Now
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: I packed my family. I got all my family in
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: the van first because I already know me this ain't
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: gonna go like y'all think it's gonna go. Don't come
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: over here with that. And and the plantation right across
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: the street. Bro hey man, when that he'll billy stood
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: up about about fox families over and started, once you
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: start that holiday right now, be offended. Then he pull
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: out a flag, he just waving it. It's gonna get
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: your standing up, clapping, peering up and stuff bringing up. Man,
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: they say it's about that mess down, and that's cool.
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: That's cool if you want to remember history and the
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: Civil War and your relatives died in the Civil War.
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: I ain't got no problem with that. Man. Do you
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: get yourself a museum, because what you can't do is
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: expect me to pay taxes and have to walk past
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: it and look at it every day. Now not maintaining
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: your stature. I'm not cutting the grass around it, and
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: I'm not paying forward to examst Take you and them
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: hell billits and put him in a building somewhere, and
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: you're gonna look at them all you want. See. They
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: don't want to go to the Civil Rights Museum. We
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: had to get on. They don't want to African America.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: We had to build on that thing in Memphis. We
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: had build it, you know. But sometimes, man, it's sort
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: of crazy because it don't mean that to some people.
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: Like I met a guy who had a Confederate flag
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: in the window of his pickup trouble. How was in Arkansas, man,
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: and I was and my car had broken down, and uh,
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: this truck pulled up and he passed me, and then
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: he pulled up and he started backing up to me.
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: I said, okay, man, it's dude right here. Don't know
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: what he feel. That's crazy right here. But I was

- 1:23:03Speaker 1: me help you lift you heard up? Let me hear
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: that dude fixed my car right there on the side
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: of the road. And uh he was pulling off. He said, uh,

- 1:24:08Speaker 1: meet your seat. The law is the same for every action.
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: That's equal and opposite reactions. So once you come at
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: me with hate, what you want me to do? Now,
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: I can try to love you out of this, but
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: I'm really not good at that. First I got to

- 1:24:51Speaker 1: we'll be back right after this. You're listening to Steve
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, a California woman, you guys, Uh,
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: this is interesting one because we're all in California now
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: and that's where the comparison stops. But a California woman
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: is suing her own parents, guys, for two million dollars.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: That's a lot of money to see your parents for.
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: First of all, why are you suing your parents, Gary Coleman.
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: But yeah, okay, well, this woman is suing her parents
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: for two million because she blames her parents because she's ugly.
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: Haven't you hit it? She's right about you. Have you
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: seen her? No? I ain't seen her. But if you
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: know you, well you got to be. If you're suing
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: for two million, you have looked in the mirror and
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: decided you can't do nothing with that. And I hope
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: you got a lawyer that has agreed to she's suing
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: her parents for ugly jeans. Her name is Annabelle Jefferson.
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: She's forty four. Yeah, she's forty four, and she's saying
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: you got a man or. She's saying her parents are
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: fully responsible for her unpleasant physical features. I like the
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: way you should put that unpleasant physical features which have
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: which have led her to three divorce. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: she's had three divorces and a succession of depression and
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: physiological physiological trouble, psychological troubles, psychologically, but she's been married
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: three times, three times? Who do number three? Because clearly
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: I've looked at the picture. There they are her. I
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: have no interest in meeting, she said. Both of my
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: parents are so dang ugly. There is no way they
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: should have been allowed to reproduce themselves. Ugly, crazy, ugly
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: people shouldn't had at me kids. Uh, one of you
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: all had to have some type of attractive because if
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: two of y'all ugly about, guaranteed the baby gonna be ugly,
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: if not while as an infant, once they grow up
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: and developed. But I've been too uglies make up pretty
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: though I never Oh man, well, how do you explain
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: the three husbands? You think? Blind? What you think y'all?
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: Yeah you might be. I've been that monkey. You gotta
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: get to that because it's so visual. You guys are
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: still visual. Can't do it. You guys are very very visual,
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: so you couldn't do it. Can't get that dog not
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: pull the shade down, pull the sun down. We need
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: any mother to stand up. I gotta get it dark in.
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: You don't drag you into bed shooting coming. Can't pass
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: this up. Still, Jake, you couldn't do it. You know
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: I say that you could. Don't turn down because because
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: you don't let that hold you back. Don't let that
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: hold you back. But still visual wait a minute back
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: in the I don't like, wait a minute the time
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: that you can do with Jake. Ain't nobody else sleptbody
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: They didn't regret, you know, you know question question I
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: didn't go to sleep off with. And they get uglier
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: in the morning because I've known plenty of women that
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: have dated back. We'll be back. You're listening to morning show, alright. So, uh,
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: when we left off, this woman out of California suitor
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: is suing her parents for two million dollars because of
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: their ugly jeans. They said that there she said that
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: there's no way these two ugly parents should have been
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: able to When I was in junior high h they
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: had a little dance and you're supposed to ask a
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: girl to just call the Sadie Hawkins day, and I
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: wanted to go to the Sadie Hawkins dance and I
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: asked this girl to go to the dance with me,
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: and she said to me, I don't like your facial features.

- 1:30:23Speaker 1: a crush me. Your first sign of ugly that you no, no, no, no,
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: no no no no. I knew. I knew I wasn't
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: gonna be attractive because my mama told me. Yeah, my
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: mother told me. She said something. Listen to me. We
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: don't have a lot attractive men in it. Mama told
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: me the same thing. So listen to me. Always take
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: care of yourself, dress nice and smell good. Give a
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: woman something to look at because we don't have a
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: real attractive men in this point. And I've been trying
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: to get that through the timing for years, way before
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: I was born, you know. But that's why I was
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: telling you're still in the family time you're not attractive.

- 1:34:40Speaker 1: my friends is on the track. I think, God, I
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: don't have one attractive friend. I ain't got one cute friend.
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: That man, if we give you a nickname, we care
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: about you. That's that's the real plus. Look, man, no,
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: I don't have cute friends. My friend looked like men. Yeah,
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: they look all my friends. He ain't the one my
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: drive Cliff Man from Houston. Nobody in the neighborhood ned
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: never came out the South for I'm on, hold on,
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: hold on this how he is. I'm on the plane
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: with Cliff one day. We're going somewhere. I close by.
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: I look up in the seat next to me. He
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: didn't put on a dude rag with the tail on.
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: It got little waves in this. You put a scarf on.
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: I said that you don't wear that on this plane.
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: One hundred though. Just put it on cause I think
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: I'm gonna go to sleep. You don't keep my ways,
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: keep your ways, keep you waffy just because you're bald.
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: I mean people that have waves like their ways. You
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: don't do that thee on the plane. Do that at home,
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: not in first class. That's not a good book. Yeah,
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: even on a Friday plane, you don't embarrass. You just
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: got to put that on because the outher they gotta
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: keep it wave. So you gotta have something, man, gotta quiet,
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: something to make him look like I said, all my
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: friends are on the track. You know, Junior has waves,
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: so you're in his lane right now. But I got kids,
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: we speak, y gotta have from hell dropping out. Junior
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: had as we talk. I'm in one time time I
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: came home from school and he was crying, uh about
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: you know, I'm nineteen. Is this a little Tommy's story
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: of Johnson? I said, so, I said, no, I didn't
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: this this really have no, I said, I said, man,
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: that's what's going on, Nicky telling the kids don't like
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: I said, why why do I don't like it? Because
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: this girl her saying I was ugly? I said, well,
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: is it Tommy? That's true. Look man, look that's true.
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: That's true. You can't get mad any time somebody tell
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: you the truth, because you're gonna stay mad because you're
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: not cute. So you know, look, man, this is a
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: good woman. She honest. Wish she had told me. And
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: I was right, stay in front of everybody to the
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: side and just saying, please stop talking because there's no
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: way I can date you and doctor we've all had that, man,
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: we have. I asked, why, what is it? What is it?
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: I said, Is it because I'm ugly? He said, yes,
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: it's because it's because you're ugly, and you got to
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: deal with that what you want to do it. So
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: that's why I'm a comedian today. You know why I
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: don't even call thing. You know why I don't hurt me.
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: He called ugly because my mama s thoughted, what did
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: your mother say? Just like your damn dad show ugly
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: ass go in your room? Talked like that was my
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: monger though, jor it sounds like that was. I don't care. Hey, hey,
- 1:38:35Speaker 1: when your grandmother second it up? Bring your little lass
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: hill what you accept when you go with you, it's
- 1:38:44Speaker 1: easier get on with your mine. Yeah. You stop sitting
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: around trying to be cute because you're not, and you
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: come on, come on, ugly one. I just said, is
- 1:38:59Speaker 1: this ugly? You're gonna quick calling me that you ain't cute.
- 1:39:04Speaker 1: I'm not, I'm not, I'm not you. It's something wrong
