- 0:00Speaker 1: You look at New York. I mean, he's a nice guy,
- 0:03Speaker 1: calls me all the time, says Hi. But his policies
- 0:08Speaker 1: are no good. He's chasing people out and causing a
- 0:11Speaker 1: lot of harm to everybody. I mean, everybody's taxes are
- 0:13Speaker 1: going through the roof. Addition, you, in addition to no
- 0:16Speaker 1: tax on Social Security open fifty one million seniors now pay.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Seniors are loving me, and I love them. Of course
- 0:24Speaker 1: I'm not a senior, so you know I cater to
- 0:27Speaker 1: the seniors, but I don't happen to be a senior myself.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Thank you very much.
- 0:31Speaker 2: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.
- 0:35Speaker 3: Good Saturday morning. Nice to have you with us on
- 0:37Speaker 3: the forty seven Morning Update. Well, if you want to
- 0:40Speaker 3: know what Democrats are going to do if they gain
- 0:42Speaker 3: control of the House and the Senate this coming midterm elections,
- 0:45Speaker 3: well you don't have to guess. Hillary Clinton is now
- 0:48Speaker 3: getting in on the action and telling you exactly what
- 0:51Speaker 3: their playbook is and guess what it includes. Impeaching Donald
- 0:55Speaker 3: Trump yet again, I have all the details.
- 0:58Speaker 4: I want to take a quick moment.
- 1:00Speaker 3: I talk to you about an incredible organization and it
- 1:02Speaker 3: is called Compassion International and how you can get involved.
- 1:07Speaker 3: I want to be honest with you for a second
- 1:09Speaker 3: about how an act of compassion really feels. A couple
- 1:13Speaker 3: of years ago, I made the choice to partner with
- 1:16Speaker 3: an amazing organization called Compassion International. Why because I wanted
- 1:21Speaker 3: to sponsor a child in need. It was a nice idea, sure,
- 1:25Speaker 3: but I had no idea just how much that simple
- 1:28Speaker 3: act would change my life as well. I sponsored Nadia
- 1:33Speaker 3: and got to watch your life change right in front
- 1:35Speaker 3: of my eyes, going from starving literally alone on the streets,
- 1:40Speaker 3: to getting the healthcare and education she needs to reach
- 1:43Speaker 3: her God given full potential. I got to be a
- 1:47Speaker 3: part of that change, and the light of that compassion
- 1:50Speaker 3: not only illuminates in her, it illuminates now in me.
- 1:54Speaker 3: That is the power of compassion. The light of Christ
- 1:58Speaker 3: shines on all of us. Feel it for yourself and
- 2:02Speaker 3: change literally a child's life, change the world, and you
- 2:06Speaker 3: also change yourself. You can sponsor child today. Visit Compassion
- 2:11Speaker 3: dot com. That's Compassion dot com. It's a forty seven
- 2:16Speaker 3: morning update and it starts right now.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Well, we know what the Democrats are going to say
- 2:23Speaker 3: ahead of the midterms, that Donald Trump is a narcissistic,
- 2:27Speaker 3: reckless person that cannot be trusted with power.
- 2:32Speaker 4: Not kidding that is now what is being said.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Hillary Clinton is now the face, I guess of all
- 2:39Speaker 3: of this. Reining in, she says, a reckless Trump before
- 2:43Speaker 3: he does irrepairable damage is the new talking point, as
- 2:48Speaker 3: she called into Morning Joe the former Secretary of State,
- 2:52Speaker 3: saying Republicans need to reign in the present, otherwise it
- 2:56Speaker 3: could destroy America.
- 2:58Speaker 4: Here she is, in her own words.
- 3:01Speaker 5: Render deal by Trump. But the bigger question is what
- 3:04Speaker 5: does Trump do now? You know, I teach a course
- 3:07Speaker 5: at Columbia University with the dean of the School of
- 3:09Speaker 5: International Public Affairs. We've been on your program, and among
- 3:13Speaker 5: the things we teach is behavior of leaders. And there's
- 3:17Speaker 5: something called domain of loss, which means when a leader
- 3:20Speaker 5: feels that he's losing, he actually becomes more reckless. And
- 3:26Speaker 5: I fear that with Trump. You know, he's found the
- 3:29Speaker 5: joy of ordering our military to go do things that
- 3:32Speaker 5: give him a lot of dopamine. I guess when he's
- 3:36Speaker 5: in the situation room watching them, you know, take out
- 3:39Speaker 5: Maduro from you know, Venezuela, or attack Iran or whatever.
- 3:45Speaker 5: I just worried that he's going to become more reckless.
- 3:48Speaker 5: And this is a call to the Congress, including the Republicans,
- 3:53Speaker 5: to step up and do your constitutional duty rein in
- 3:59Speaker 5: this presence before he causes absolutely irreparable damage to our country,
- 4:06Speaker 5: to our military, standing, to our authority and leadership. Do
- 4:11Speaker 5: not let him continue to be a rogue player in
- 4:15Speaker 5: the international arena, because I fear he will get more reckless.
- 4:21Speaker 5: And I will tell you when we win these midterm elections,
- 4:23Speaker 5: because look, if the elections were today or next week
- 4:26Speaker 5: or the following week, we would win both the House
- 4:28Speaker 5: and the Senate. And I hope that's what happens in November,
- 4:31Speaker 5: both because I want to see change, but also I
- 4:34Speaker 5: want to see him held accountable. And so let's do
- 4:38Speaker 5: it now, because I'm not sure we can wait and
- 4:41Speaker 5: allow him, you know, free range to along with his
- 4:45Speaker 5: buddy Hagsath, to you know, tell our military to go
- 4:49Speaker 5: do things that are not even in the interests of
- 4:52Speaker 5: the United States, as well as breaching you know, the
- 4:55Speaker 5: laws of war. So look, I worry a lot about
- 5:00Speaker 5: now more irrational and unhinged he could become.
- 5:05Speaker 3: You listen to Hillary Clinton there and the translation from
- 5:09Speaker 3: what you just heard is we are going to impeach
- 5:12Speaker 3: Donald Trump if we win the midterms. We are going
- 5:15Speaker 3: to impeach him. We're going to go after head seth,
- 5:18Speaker 3: We're going to go after JD. Vance, and we're going
- 5:21Speaker 3: to overthrow the will of the people because you cannot
- 5:25Speaker 3: trust the American people to choose their leader. That is
- 5:28Speaker 3: what Hillary Clinton is advocating for there. This, by the way,
- 5:33Speaker 3: should not be surprising at all because it's exactly what
- 5:37Speaker 3: the Democrats did in twenty sixteen when Hillary Clinton lost
- 5:41Speaker 3: the election. What do the Democrats do? They said, Oh, no, no,
- 5:45Speaker 3: we'll fix it. Don't worry, we will fix it. How
- 5:51Speaker 3: do they do it? They said, And I'll go back
- 5:54Speaker 3: to the FBI Peter Struckley's a page. We're not going
- 5:57Speaker 3: to let that happen, right, We're going to go after
- 5:59Speaker 3: the We're going to entrap him. We're going to get
- 6:03Speaker 3: him out of office. We will get rid of him. Now,
- 6:09Speaker 3: what's amazing this time is, I guess you could say
- 6:11Speaker 3: how tone death, and it really is tone death?
- 6:15Speaker 4: How tone death.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Hillary Clinton seems to be over what she did in
- 6:21Speaker 3: the past. And that is the part here that is
- 6:25Speaker 3: truly shocking to me is that she's like, let's go
- 6:29Speaker 3: back and do the exact same thing that we did before,
- 6:33Speaker 3: and we'll see if it happens to work.
- 6:38Speaker 4: She wasn't done there, by the way.
- 6:40Speaker 3: The second part of the interview, and you're gonna hear
- 6:44Speaker 3: it here with Morning Joe hosts and co hosts Mika
- 6:48Speaker 3: and Joe Scarborough, but listen to how they're trying to
- 6:51Speaker 3: rally the troops the Democratic Party that hey, we can
- 6:54Speaker 3: get rid of Trump, we can get rid of anybody
- 6:57Speaker 3: that we want to if you just give us power
- 6:59Speaker 3: in the mid terms and away Clinton's like, well, you
- 7:02Speaker 3: can't even wait till then, which is insane.
- 7:05Speaker 4: Let's talk about Israel.
- 7:06Speaker 6: You spoke briefly about NETANYAHUO in Israel. I know you've
- 7:09Speaker 6: always been a strong supporter of Israel. You've spoken out
- 7:12Speaker 6: aggressively against anti Semitism. You've in fact been attacked time
- 7:18Speaker 6: and time again when you give speeches because people believe
- 7:22Speaker 6: that you are too strong of a supporter of Israel.
- 7:26Speaker 6: And yet you I've heard you and President Clinton talk
- 7:31Speaker 6: about the tragedy of how far net Yeah, who has
- 7:35Speaker 6: taken us from where the Clinton administration had us in
- 7:39Speaker 6: the Oslo Accords, where there was an extraordinary deal for
- 7:43Speaker 6: the Palestinians that they passed up on, which led to
- 7:47Speaker 6: the saying to begin the Palestinians ever passed up an opportunity,
- 7:51Speaker 6: to pass up an opportunity that said, here we are
- 7:54Speaker 6: all these years later and net Yahoo continuing endless war,
- 8:01Speaker 6: the bombing of it seems like half of Lebanon. We
- 8:04Speaker 6: saw what happened in Gaza. Every day, horrors being visited
- 8:10Speaker 6: upon the people of the West Bank. Talk about talk
- 8:15Speaker 6: about the real damage that Benjamin et Yahoo is doing, not.
- 8:21Speaker 4: Just to the region, but also to Israel.
- 8:23Speaker 6: You've seen, you've seen how a majority of Americans have
- 8:27Speaker 6: now turned against Israel in our time.
- 8:31Speaker 4: That was unheard of.
- 8:32Speaker 6: Madam Secretary, what's the future for Israel?
- 8:37Speaker 5: Well, he's got a pretty good summary of the problem. Joe,
- 8:41Speaker 5: I do support Israel. I am a staunch supporter of Israel,
- 8:45Speaker 5: and I am a staunch opponent of Benjamin Netnyahu. He
- 8:48Speaker 5: has stayed too long. He has, in my view, undermined
- 8:53Speaker 5: Israel's long term security, and I am very worried about
- 9:00Speaker 5: what's happening. You know, when people say, well, you've got
- 9:03Speaker 5: to support net Yahoo if you are, you know, pro
- 9:08Speaker 5: Israeli or Israel. Well, I say, look, I love America
- 9:12Speaker 5: and I'm really opposed to Donald Trump. Does that make
- 9:15Speaker 5: me anti American? I don't think so. It makes me
- 9:19Speaker 5: a you know, fair observer in my view of you know,
- 9:22Speaker 5: assessing what is in the best interests of my country,
- 9:26Speaker 5: and I feel the same way about Israel. Now, look,
- 9:29Speaker 5: I think there has been a very important effort to
- 9:37Speaker 5: push back and to defeat the axis of the enemies
- 9:42Speaker 5: that Iran put together Hamas, which remember started, you know,
- 9:47Speaker 5: the terrible sequence of events back on October seventh of
- 9:51Speaker 5: twenty twenty three, and his law. But we see his
- 9:55Speaker 5: law is not by any means defeated because we're engaged
- 9:58Speaker 5: in an war now in southern Lebanon. I would wish
- 10:04Speaker 5: the following number one, And finally, there seems to be
- 10:08Speaker 5: some opening here. I've been advocating behind the scenes for
- 10:11Speaker 5: this now for several months. Israel should support this Lebanese government.
- 10:16Speaker 5: There has not been a better Lebanese government since the
- 10:20Speaker 5: Syrians and Iranians assassinated Hereari. They are trying, they do,
- 10:25Speaker 5: they have all the capacity they need, know, but they
- 10:29Speaker 5: are trying to set up a government in Lebanon that
- 10:33Speaker 5: can deal with the threat that his law poses internally
- 10:37Speaker 5: to Lebanon. And so rather than making their task even harder,
- 10:42Speaker 5: you know, work with this new government in Lebanon. See
- 10:45Speaker 5: how far you can help them to go to disarm
- 10:48Speaker 5: his law, to create better conditions for a lasting, secure
- 10:54Speaker 5: peace between Lebanon and Israel. And for Heaven's sake, rein
- 10:58Speaker 5: in the settler islands. It is unacceptable. The West Bank
- 11:03Speaker 5: is filled with people who want a better future for
- 11:06Speaker 5: themselves and their families. Let's help them with that. Let's
- 11:11Speaker 5: make it more likely that they could be allies instead
- 11:15Speaker 5: of adversaries. But if you're going to continue to blow
- 11:17Speaker 5: up their homes and allow people to destroy their olive
- 11:20Speaker 5: growths and everything else that is going on now, you're
- 11:23Speaker 5: just creating the next generation of people who are going
- 11:26Speaker 5: to hate what does next door to them in Israel.
- 11:29Speaker 5: That is no way to try to create a secure
- 11:33Speaker 5: Israel going forward.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Isn't it interesting how Hillary Clinton there just completely contradicts herself.
- 11:39Speaker 3: She's like, I'm the biggest advocate for Israel, but I
- 11:43Speaker 3: hate the Israeli leader and I think he is a
- 11:45Speaker 3: terrible person and we should be done with them, and
- 11:46Speaker 3: then she immediately says that Israel is evil and mean
- 11:51Speaker 3: because they're blowing up terrists homes and making a buffer
- 11:56Speaker 3: zone because of the terrorists Hamas and hees Blah that
- 12:01Speaker 3: she admits are a terrorist group, a terrorist organization. Like
- 12:06Speaker 3: the idea here that Hillary Clinton is still the leader
- 12:10Speaker 3: de facto in the Democratic Party in many ways, and
- 12:14Speaker 3: you're hearing it during this interview. She is acting as
- 12:17Speaker 3: if she is the king maker moving forward, and she
- 12:20Speaker 3: very well may be. That is like legitimate, real, real possibility.
- 12:30Speaker 3: I think it is shocking to hear her describe the
- 12:34Speaker 3: situation the way she is and at the same time
- 12:37Speaker 3: say I am pro Israel. If that is pro Israel,
- 12:41Speaker 3: then don't count me in because I would never want
- 12:44Speaker 3: to act as if and talk about Israel the way
- 12:47Speaker 3: that Hillary Clinton is. So as we go into these midterms,
- 12:51Speaker 3: understand the playbook is still the same. Have a weak
- 12:55Speaker 3: foreign policy, criticize your allies more than the terrorists. You
- 13:00Speaker 3: just heard it from Hillary Clinton there, and we're going
- 13:04Speaker 3: to get rid of Donald Trump at all costs.
- 13:07Speaker 4: That is the entire ball game.
