- 0:02Speaker 1: Y'all know what time of y'all don't know y'all back
- 0:09Speaker 1: a suit on, looking back to back down, giving them
- 0:13Speaker 1: more like amazing buck things. And it's not doing me
- 0:19Speaker 1: true good at Steve to move together for star please
- 0:37Speaker 1: by I don't join join me to be doing me.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta use that turn. You gotta turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out. Turn't got to turn them out. Then the water,
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water come come on your back at it. I
- 2:02Speaker 1: shore will a good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 1: come on dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey
- 2:09Speaker 1: got a radio show. Oh man, Steve Harvey got a
- 2:13Speaker 1: radio show because God. Because God is simply amazing, because
- 2:17Speaker 1: God is off the chain, because God is over the top,
- 2:22Speaker 1: because God is all that in a bag of chips.
- 2:24Speaker 1: God is amazing man. God will take you places that
- 2:28Speaker 1: you never ever thought you would go, or you know
- 2:32Speaker 1: what it Sometimes it amazes me when I'm watching all
- 2:36Speaker 1: people talk about themselves and their careers and where they're
- 2:39Speaker 1: adding life and things and they and I hear people say,
- 2:43Speaker 1: you know, always dreamed of being him. You know, I
- 2:47Speaker 1: can understand when a person says that I've always dreamed
- 2:51Speaker 1: of something like this would happen to me. But I
- 2:53Speaker 1: want you to think about that for a second. Did
- 2:58Speaker 1: you really see it just like that though? Did you
- 3:02Speaker 1: really really see it just like that? Did you really
- 3:09Speaker 1: know that God was gonna bring you through all he
- 3:12Speaker 1: bought you through to get you to this place? Did
- 3:16Speaker 1: you know that, in spite of the losses along the
- 3:19Speaker 1: way that would crumble the average person, that somehow He
- 3:23Speaker 1: kept you through it all and that's how you got here?
- 3:27Speaker 1: Did you think of you know? I mean, you know,
- 3:30Speaker 1: you know. I mean, since you're so busy talking about
- 3:32Speaker 1: yourself now, have you forgotten all the times He was
- 3:37Speaker 1: bringing you through when you didn't see no way that
- 3:41Speaker 1: you was gonna get through? Do you remember that? So
- 3:44Speaker 1: when you sit there and you say, I dreamed of this,
- 3:48Speaker 1: this is what I always saw happening, I don't really think. So,
- 3:53Speaker 1: I don't really think. If you take inventory, or real
- 3:56Speaker 1: close inventory of your life and you look back on
- 3:59Speaker 1: it all, stop looking at the moment right now, remember
- 4:02Speaker 1: where you come from. See, that's what gets me emotional sometimes,
- 4:05Speaker 1: that's what makes me tear up, because when something is
- 4:08Speaker 1: happening to me in the moment, it ain't the moment
- 4:12Speaker 1: for me it's the memory of how I got there.
- 4:16Speaker 1: It's the recollection of all the things, all the nights,
- 4:21Speaker 1: all the days in that car, all the times by
- 4:24Speaker 1: myself when I felt like I wasn't gonna make it.
- 4:28Speaker 1: But somehow I'm standing somewhere and somebody passing out an
- 4:31Speaker 1: award to me or somebody calling my name. That's that.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Did you really think you was gonna make it? Then?
- 4:38Speaker 1: So so so, since you're talking about this is what
- 4:40Speaker 1: I always dreamed of, did you really think in those
- 4:44Speaker 1: moments right there that you would even be standing here today?
- 4:47Speaker 1: That's why I try to I try to give people
- 4:49Speaker 1: to understand, you know, and and and and this is
- 4:51Speaker 1: kind of for young people today what I'm about to say.
- 4:55Speaker 1: But then guess what I sometimes I have to remind
- 4:57Speaker 1: myself of it, So I guess it's still kind of
- 4:59Speaker 1: for every everybody, you know, because I work with a
- 5:02Speaker 1: lot of young people, and so many times, man, young
- 5:05Speaker 1: people just don't understand what all it takes. And I know,
- 5:12Speaker 1: and if you're a full grown adult, if you're forty,
- 5:14Speaker 1: you you really understanding where I'm coming from, because you know,
- 5:20Speaker 1: it's listen to me, young people or anybody that don't
- 5:23Speaker 1: understand this that you got to do some things that
- 5:27Speaker 1: you don't want to do in order to do what
- 5:30Speaker 1: you want to do. You have to understand this principle
- 5:34Speaker 1: of success or else you are not going to become successful.
- 5:39Speaker 1: I got what you want to do. I got your
- 5:42Speaker 1: ultimate goal? Is this, that, and the other? I got
- 5:45Speaker 1: all of that. But in the meantime, though, there are
- 5:49Speaker 1: some necessary steps that you have to take in order
- 5:52Speaker 1: to become successful, and you cannot skip these steps. You
- 5:56Speaker 1: can't jump over these steps just because you want to
- 5:58Speaker 1: be rich, Friday, I got that. I got that. Everybody
- 6:03Speaker 1: got that. But if you want this whatever you're talking about,
- 6:07Speaker 1: whether it's money or success or fame or climbing the
- 6:11Speaker 1: corporate letter or this is the position or you all,
- 6:14Speaker 1: that's fine, and Danny, please hold on to your dreams.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Dreams come true. But in the meantime, let me remind
- 6:23Speaker 1: you of something that you gotta do some things you
- 6:26Speaker 1: don't want to do in order to do what you
- 6:29Speaker 1: want to do. You must get this in your head.
- 6:33Speaker 1: There are some survival things that you have to master
- 6:38Speaker 1: in order to do what you want to do. Let's
- 6:40Speaker 1: take it them. Let's say you want to be rich
- 6:43Speaker 1: and famous. Let's just say that's it for you. Let's
- 6:46Speaker 1: sit It's a lot of other ways of being successful.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Please don't think that's the only one. But I'm just saying,
- 6:50Speaker 1: let's just say yours is rich and famous, and let's
- 6:54Speaker 1: say some miraculous way God made you rich and famous.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Next Friday, Taya you rich and you famous? Next Friday?
- 7:04Speaker 1: Can I share something with you? This is not going
- 7:07Speaker 1: to last for you. You know why because you have
- 7:10Speaker 1: not done the things necessary. You have not done the
- 7:15Speaker 1: things that you have to do in order to do
- 7:18Speaker 1: the things you want. So now you're rich and famous,
- 7:22Speaker 1: How you gonna know how to budget money? How are
- 7:26Speaker 1: you gonna know how to get up and keep clawing
- 7:28Speaker 1: towards the top when you fall off your pedestal? How
- 7:32Speaker 1: are you gonna know how to reinvent yourself if you
- 7:34Speaker 1: didn't even invent yourself in the first place. See, it's
- 7:38Speaker 1: so many things. You got to know about something, and
- 7:41Speaker 1: you think, because it's what you want right now, it's
- 7:44Speaker 1: supposed to happen just now. It's a process. When you
- 7:47Speaker 1: ask God for something. Please know, God know the process.
- 7:51Speaker 1: He knows the necessary steps to take you through. Don't
- 7:54Speaker 1: lose your patience with God because your dreams ain't coming
- 7:57Speaker 1: true right now? Man? You know you know I think
- 8:03Speaker 1: the best way y'all is for me. I just used
- 8:05Speaker 1: myself as an example. I really do understand why God
- 8:08Speaker 1: has given me the life he's giving me so far.
- 8:11Speaker 1: I understand that being a homeless part. Now I get
- 8:14Speaker 1: the not being successful when I want it too, part,
- 8:17Speaker 1: Now I get it. I got the delayed entry into
- 8:20Speaker 1: the field of choice for myself. I got it now.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I've been wanting to be on TV and a little
- 8:26Speaker 1: comedian since I was nine years old. But guess what,
- 8:29Speaker 1: I didn't get there until I was twenty eight. But see,
- 8:32Speaker 1: I didn't get it then. I was mad at God.
- 8:35Speaker 1: You know what, I won't knop sent it here here.
- 8:37Speaker 1: I got exactly what you want. But I got this process.
- 8:40Speaker 1: I want you to go through to get here too,
- 8:42Speaker 1: because see, I'm fit to take you somewhere. You don't
- 8:44Speaker 1: know nothing, but one day you're gonna have a radio
- 8:46Speaker 1: show with You're a little stupid behind. You don't know
- 8:48Speaker 1: this yet. I'm gonna bless you with a radio show.
- 8:51Speaker 1: You don't even know it. That's why I say every morning,
- 8:53Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show, because see I didn't
- 8:56Speaker 1: I didn't see this one coming. But see God had
- 8:58Speaker 1: a plan for me. It was in the blueprint of
- 9:00Speaker 1: my life. So God said, what I'm gonna do is,
- 9:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna make your life a little rough for you.
- 9:06Speaker 1: I'm gonna toss you up a little bit. I'm I'm
- 9:09Speaker 1: gonna let you make some of these stupid decisions you
- 9:11Speaker 1: wanna make it I'm gonna make you learn from them.
- 9:13Speaker 1: I'm I'm gonna let you be homeless for a little while.
- 9:17Speaker 1: I'm gonna let you not get into your feel a
- 9:19Speaker 1: choice until you're twenty eight. I'm gonna have people talking
- 9:22Speaker 1: about if we had only seen him when he was younger.
- 9:24Speaker 1: I ain't gonna let you get your first can your
- 9:26Speaker 1: name till your thirty eight. I'm gonna make you go
- 9:29Speaker 1: through some things because one day I'm gonna put a
- 9:32Speaker 1: microphone in front of your mouth, and I want you
- 9:34Speaker 1: to honor me. I want you to talk about me.
- 9:37Speaker 1: I want you to tell people what I bought you through.
- 9:39Speaker 1: I want you to give people inspirational moments where they
- 9:42Speaker 1: can see that your life was jacked up for a
- 9:45Speaker 1: minute and I turned your life around for you. That's
- 9:48Speaker 1: God dealing with me. See, so now I finally understand
- 9:52Speaker 1: why I went through the life I went through, so
- 9:55Speaker 1: I can have something to say. See, I ain't over
- 9:57Speaker 1: here telling you about what I think are happened. I'm
- 10:00Speaker 1: telling you what I know can happen. That God does
- 10:03Speaker 1: make dreams come true, but sometime it take a minute.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Sometimes you're gonna have to do some things you don't
- 10:09Speaker 1: want to do in order to do what you want
- 10:11Speaker 1: to do. Yeah, I finally got on TV, but I
- 10:14Speaker 1: had to learn some things along the way. See, maybe
- 10:17Speaker 1: he waited for me to get some of these messages
- 10:19Speaker 1: for he gave me this gift that I want so
- 10:21Speaker 1: I would appreciate it more. See when you don't get
- 10:24Speaker 1: into comedy when you to you twenty eight and you've
- 10:26Speaker 1: been wanting it since you nine, Now when you get
- 10:28Speaker 1: into it, you appreciate it more. Then. Guess what I'd
- 10:31Speaker 1: been through so many struggles and a divorce and life
- 10:34Speaker 1: had turned me around. So when I became homeless, I
- 10:37Speaker 1: still didn't give up because I had appreciated the fact
- 10:41Speaker 1: that it took me so long to get here that
- 10:43Speaker 1: nothing was gonna deter me. And he gave me the
- 10:46Speaker 1: fortitude and the strength to hang on in there. Just
- 10:49Speaker 1: don't leave him out the mix, okay, because you're trying
- 10:51Speaker 1: to do this by yourself and it ain't working for you.
- 10:54Speaker 1: All right, all that you, I'm gonna be tripping it
- 10:56Speaker 1: day you're listening. Show ladies, gentlemen, boys, girls, monkeys, zookeepers,

- 12:40Speaker 1: Why is that? And I'm doing it before? He's been
- 12:44Speaker 1: doing that. Everybody knows that about him. First you see
- 12:47Speaker 1: the cloud, then you see Snoop And I'm here to
- 12:51Speaker 1: tell you as I don't know what it is. He's
- 12:54Speaker 1: got rolled up, but it makes you go somewhere and
- 12:57Speaker 1: sit the hell down. You know, well, he was on
- 13:02Speaker 1: the junior You can tell the story, ju you tell
- 13:05Speaker 1: a story. Jay found out that Snoop was up here,
- 13:07Speaker 1: and he said he had to go smoke with him.
- 13:11Speaker 1: And in the green room and the whole hallway you
- 13:14Speaker 1: can you knew Snoop was here, the whole hallway for real. Yeah.
- 13:19Speaker 1: So Jay goes in there and he stands next to
- 13:22Speaker 1: Snoop while Snoop is smoking, and Jay says, let me
- 13:25Speaker 1: hit that Snoop said this, and he gave it to him.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Jay Hit took two puffs too, And next time I
- 13:39Speaker 1: see Jay, he's sitting on the steps in the hallway.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Man Jay said, Man, I got to go home. Man
- 13:58Speaker 1: Jay told about is it hiding him. That stuff he
- 14:04Speaker 1: smokes should be called that's what you need. You know
- 14:09Speaker 1: what I'd like to see. I'd like to see Snoop
- 14:11Speaker 1: and Willing Melson hang out. They've done that. Yeah, I
- 14:14Speaker 1: think they've done that time. Wow. Wow, that funny. It's
- 14:19Speaker 1: funny to what. Yeah, Friday Day, it's pleasure, Jay, Thank
- 14:29Speaker 1: you for that law. We started off with this this morning.
- 14:35Speaker 1: That's how we started, y'all know how that is? All? Right?
- 14:38Speaker 1: Back with the Boy the Steve Harvey Morning Show right
- 14:41Speaker 1: after this thirty something Friday's coming. You're listening to st show. Well, guys,
- 14:49Speaker 1: the holidays, you know, are supposed to be a time
- 14:51Speaker 1: for peace and love and joy and all of that.
- 14:54Speaker 1: You know, well, we all know the truth. It's usually
- 14:57Speaker 1: filled with tons of stress, plenty of arguments. So how
- 15:01Speaker 1: bad does it get you ask? Well, according to a
- 15:04Speaker 1: brand new survey, eighty eight percent that's a lot of
- 15:08Speaker 1: people of eighty eight percent of respondents say they get
- 15:13Speaker 1: stressed out celebrating the holidays, with the average couple having
- 15:17Speaker 1: seven arguments throughout the season, seven, that's a lot. That's
- 15:23Speaker 1: a lot. That's a lot. Living up to the expectations
- 15:26Speaker 1: of Christmas. Man because what you see on television, ain't
- 15:29Speaker 1: know is what you got in your house. So I've
- 15:33Speaker 1: never had that on TV. We never had that Christmas,
- 15:38Speaker 1: all right, So let's talk. Not ever never had Christmas
- 15:45Speaker 1: Christmas I've had. I've woken up to my dad and
- 15:47Speaker 1: his drawn passed out in the floor. I got to
- 15:50Speaker 1: step up with him to go play with my toys.
- 15:52Speaker 1: I can top that one. I can definitely talk. You're
- 15:56Speaker 1: always so sad. Come on my Christmas is will always said.
- 15:59Speaker 1: All I asked my parents to do. My mom and
- 16:02Speaker 1: my dad to get my bicycle fixed. But Christmas not
- 16:07Speaker 1: a new one, a new one. Just get just get
- 16:10Speaker 1: me a flat. Get fixed the flat and I can
- 16:14Speaker 1: ride with everybody else who had a bike. I go
- 16:17Speaker 1: downstairs on Christmas. All I see is pajama tops and
- 16:22Speaker 1: pajama bottoms. I don't I'm not saying who had on what? Okay?
- 16:27Speaker 1: And they was passed the hell out, That's all I'm saying.
- 16:31Speaker 1: I saw pajama tops, and I saw the jama bottoms
- 16:34Speaker 1: and passed out. You didn't get your bike fixed? Can't
- 16:37Speaker 1: get the bike fixed? You got you got an old
- 16:41Speaker 1: new bike. It just don't work. I got a nice
- 16:44Speaker 1: bike six time, and that was easy back in the day.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Right to fix the flat, that was simple. Actually blow
- 16:55Speaker 1: it up with your lips. To tire pick you will
- 17:00Speaker 1: be to put that patch on that jay. Yeah up, okay,
- 17:04Speaker 1: so listen, guys, I see. Well, here's what people are
- 17:08Speaker 1: fighting about. The biggest source of arguments is deciding where
- 17:11Speaker 1: to spend the holidays. Okay, you want to spend it
- 17:14Speaker 1: with your side of the family. She wants to spend
- 17:16Speaker 1: it with family. Yeah, all of that okay, followed by
- 17:20Speaker 1: how much money you're going to spend on gifts? I
- 17:24Speaker 1: think gifts it's so overrated. We do too much with that. Whatever. However,
- 17:31Speaker 1: I don't even hear you right now. I don't even
- 17:33Speaker 1: hear you all that in the mall, just dragging bags
- 17:37Speaker 1: and trying to where can y'all get it in. It's
- 17:43Speaker 1: too much money money with you. I do too. That's
- 17:51Speaker 1: what's come up to you, man, Just give him the money. Yeah.
- 17:53Speaker 1: I don't have the patience anymore to shop for everyone else,
- 17:56Speaker 1: because if I go to Christmas shopping, everything is for me,
- 17:59Speaker 1: but everything that's act for you. But I did give
- 18:08Speaker 1: me that's kid, that's cute. Yeah, it's me exactly. Well,
- 18:17Speaker 1: I need one of these plait a minute. Yeah. So um,
- 18:21Speaker 1: you know, so we know from Jay his stress from
- 18:24Speaker 1: the holiday was not getting his ya. Yeah, well you
- 18:28Speaker 1: you went childhood on this, Jay. But what about now
- 18:31Speaker 1: as an adult? You know they're talking about the arguments, right,
- 18:36Speaker 1: you know what I've been missed out? What I don't
- 18:38Speaker 1: know what I've been doing. I've been now since they
- 18:41Speaker 1: don't get me what I want? Who tell my wife?
- 18:45Speaker 1: My kids? Yeah? You know they say I have everything,
- 18:48Speaker 1: so they don't get me. You know, they don't know
- 18:49Speaker 1: what to get. So I go out and I buy
- 18:52Speaker 1: four or five gifts from me, get them rout. Yeah.
- 18:55Speaker 1: I put them under the tree from time and to
- 18:58Speaker 1: a time. Yeah, I'm the most person. When I opened
- 19:02Speaker 1: it up on Christmas Day, oh my god, look what
- 19:06Speaker 1: I got me? I thought that commercial time y off Walmart?
- 19:11Speaker 1: Did you see what a lady h? Yeah? Yeah, I
- 19:17Speaker 1: mean I would be excited for appliance. But my stress
- 19:20Speaker 1: for Christmas is like my daughter is so the opposite
- 19:24Speaker 1: of me. I could not sleep Christmas Eve waiting on
- 19:27Speaker 1: Christmas she gets up. I mean, we have the Christmas tree,
- 19:31Speaker 1: all decorated, presents, all under the tree, twelve o'clock. She's
- 19:35Speaker 1: still sleeping one o'clock. This is in the after next day. Finally,
- 19:41Speaker 1: let Christmas like, what whose whose kid are you? That?
- 19:47Speaker 1: That was my stress for Christmas? My daughter never she
- 19:50Speaker 1: never got up early enough. Yeah, I'm gonna say this,
- 19:55Speaker 1: no sex on Christmas. It's very stressed. I'm just saying,
- 19:59Speaker 1: I mean, that's my wait, wait about someone holiday stress.
- 20:03Speaker 1: A lot of people out that's the name. You know.
- 20:04Speaker 1: We should do that. We should all pitch in and
- 20:07Speaker 1: get Jay a bike. We should all pitch in and
- 20:09Speaker 1: get Jay a bike. I mean, you know, just with
- 20:12Speaker 1: a new bike. For a new bike and run it.
- 20:16Speaker 1: All right, we gotta go. Coming up next, it is
- 20:19Speaker 1: a nephew with run that frank back. Right after this,
- 20:23Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at
- 20:27Speaker 1: the top of the hour, Guys and Entertainment News, Golden

- 20:34Speaker 1: Cohen we all know him, says he wants the same
- 20:37Speaker 1: treatment get this that DMX got for tax evasion. Yeah right,
- 20:44Speaker 1: name right now, the nephew, run that brank back. Come on,
- 20:53Speaker 1: that's change for my hunted, change for my hunting lord.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Hey you know, oh you strip us out there? Let
- 20:59Speaker 1: me you want somebody to give you a hunty? You know, uh,

- 22:49Speaker 1: y'all up as far as doing the Bachelor Billy Billy,
- 22:52Speaker 1: the ones that got yaller to come and do the
- 22:53Speaker 1: Bachelorrette party. What I'm trying to, you know, tell you
- 22:57Speaker 1: is is that I got the number from him, Okay, okay,

- 23:47Speaker 1: that's it. The other money that I was blown to be.

- 26:01Speaker 1: kind of silence for you know you you don't try

- 26:58Speaker 1: Are you listening to the name can I don't call
- 27:01Speaker 1: me with that? I'm killing do what you got to say?
- 27:04Speaker 1: You can kill? I said, I want more things to
- 27:09Speaker 1: say to you. Are you what do you got to
- 27:12Speaker 1: say that? Which is it? Nephew tom Me from the
- 27:16Speaker 1: Steve harp In Morning Show. You just got pranked by
- 27:20Speaker 1: your girl friend? Who is this? Hello? Hello, Hello from me?
- 27:40Speaker 1: That makes you get your killed? I'm gonna cutting you
- 27:43Speaker 1: in your baby? Okay, I'm all right. That'd be good.
- 27:58Speaker 1: That makes sense? Did that make sense? Don't it make sense?
- 28:03Speaker 1: I won't change for my heart. I'm still against it. Okay,
- 28:08Speaker 1: you ain't stripping that coal. She's out there working hard
- 28:11Speaker 1: for her money. Okay, for your money? Changed containers around
- 28:17Speaker 1: their waist? Why not? A fan of peck. I know
- 28:22Speaker 1: I need a whole six all right, thank you of you.
- 28:24Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, we're gonna
- 28:27Speaker 1: talk about Kevin Hart and entertainment news. In case you
- 28:29Speaker 1: don't know, he stepped down from hosting the Oscars entertainment news.
- 28:34Speaker 1: We'll talk about Kevin Hart. You're listening to show, all right.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Kevin Hart, our friend, our family member, says he is
- 28:44Speaker 1: out as host of the Academy Awards of the Oscars
- 28:48Speaker 1: this year after criticism for some homophobic tweets he made
- 28:53Speaker 1: years ago. He has since that he's evolved and he's changed,
- 28:56Speaker 1: but he's stepping down as host because some people are
- 29:00Speaker 1: by his remarks. Take a listen. So I just got
- 29:03Speaker 1: a call from the Academy, and that call basically said,
- 29:06Speaker 1: Kevin apologized for your tweets of old or we're gonna
- 29:10Speaker 1: have to move on to final other host talk about
- 29:12Speaker 1: to tweets from two thousand and nine, two thousand and ten.
- 29:14Speaker 1: I chose the past. I passed on the apology. Reason
- 29:17Speaker 1: why I passed it because I've addressed this several times.
- 29:19Speaker 1: This is not the first time this has come up.
- 29:21Speaker 1: I've addressed him, I've spoken on it, I've said where
- 29:24Speaker 1: the rights and wrongs were. I've said who I am
- 29:28Speaker 1: now versus who I was then, I've done it. I've
- 29:30Speaker 1: done it. I'm not going to continue to go back
- 29:33Speaker 1: and tap into the days of old when I moved
- 29:36Speaker 1: on and I'm in a complete different space in my life.
- 29:39Speaker 1: The same energy that went into finding those old tweets
- 29:41Speaker 1: could be the same energy put into finding the response
- 29:45Speaker 1: to the questions that have been asked years after years
- 29:47Speaker 1: after years. We feed in the Internet trolls and we
- 29:50Speaker 1: reward them. I'm not gonna do it, man, I'm gonna
- 29:54Speaker 1: be me. I'm gonna stay in my ground regardless, Academy.
- 29:57Speaker 1: I'm thankful and appreciative of the opportunity. If it goes away,
- 30:00Speaker 1: no harm, no foul. Wow. That was the voice of
- 30:03Speaker 1: Kevin Hurt. He posted his response on Instagram yesterday, saying
- 30:08Speaker 1: that he made the choice to step down from hosting
- 30:11Speaker 1: because he does not want to be a distraction on
- 30:13Speaker 1: a night that should be celebrated by so many amazing,
- 30:16Speaker 1: talented artists. He says he sincerely apologizes through the LGBTQ
- 30:21Speaker 1: community for his insensitive words from his past. So there
- 30:27Speaker 1: you go. I mean, you know, it was something that
- 30:31Speaker 1: he's wanted to do all his life, and he said,
- 30:35Speaker 1: you know, maybe they'll meet again. In one of his
- 30:37Speaker 1: post he said, Steve, here's what I think. First of all,
- 30:44Speaker 1: I agree with what Kevin said. It is a shame
- 30:50Speaker 1: that we are hail to all of our past transgressions
- 30:55Speaker 1: for the rest of our lives and the rest of
- 30:58Speaker 1: our careers because we have turned into such a politically
- 31:04Speaker 1: correct nation, which oh, by the way, we are not.
- 31:10Speaker 1: But we have this hippocritical viewpoint all of a sudden.
- 31:15Speaker 1: And I think that Kevin is right. He's addressed this
- 31:18Speaker 1: before and apologized and said where he was wrong. But
- 31:22Speaker 1: the people who dug this up on the internet, they
- 31:26Speaker 1: could have also dug up his response. And but with
- 31:31Speaker 1: that have been enough for those But if we're constantly
- 31:35Speaker 1: looking for a way to have our feelings hurt and
- 31:40Speaker 1: to not forgive or move on or to hold a person,
- 31:44Speaker 1: we as people should not have the right to put
- 31:48Speaker 1: our knee on another person's neck and hold it there
- 31:52Speaker 1: as long as we see fit, because who are we?
- 31:58Speaker 1: Who are we? And I like the fact that he
- 32:03Speaker 1: stepped away and that he's not going to be a distraction.
- 32:08Speaker 1: I have more to say about this, but Kevin, Kevin
- 32:12Speaker 1: is spot on, man, and I want to I want
- 32:14Speaker 1: to ask you all a question when I come back.
- 32:17Speaker 1: All right, we'll be back with part two of this.
- 32:20Speaker 1: In case you're just joining us. Kevin Hart has stepped
- 32:22Speaker 1: down as host of the Oscars. You're listening, all right,
- 32:29Speaker 1: So Steve. Before we went to break, we were talking
- 32:31Speaker 1: about Kevin Hard how he is stepping down from hosting
- 32:34Speaker 1: the Oscars in February because of some um tweets from
- 32:39Speaker 1: his past that have come out where he was expressing
- 32:42Speaker 1: some homophobic, homophobic views and uh, some people were offended
- 32:47Speaker 1: by that wanted him to apologize. He said, he has
- 32:50Speaker 1: apologized in the past, and uh now he just you know,
- 32:54Speaker 1: prefers to just move on with his life. Here's your question.
- 32:56Speaker 1: I want to ask everybody. I'm asking every audience member,
- 33:00Speaker 1: and I'm asking you on the team here. Would you
- 33:04Speaker 1: be okay if someone denied you an opportunity and you
- 33:12Speaker 1: were not allowed to partake in this opportunity because of
- 33:17Speaker 1: something you did that was not criminal. You're saying, what
- 33:21Speaker 1: would be okay with it? I'm just asking would you
- 33:25Speaker 1: be okay if someone denied you an opportunity and you
- 33:30Speaker 1: were not allowed to partake of the opportunity because of
- 33:33Speaker 1: something that you said or did in your past. But
- 33:36Speaker 1: it wasn't criminal. I mean, you know, no, I will
- 33:40Speaker 1: not be okay with that. Yeah, I think said and
- 33:45Speaker 1: done some things in our past. Like you said, if
- 33:47Speaker 1: you're gonna judge us on our past, then we are.
- 33:54Speaker 1: Then if that's the case, I shouldn't be on this
- 33:56Speaker 1: show then right absolutely, or anywhere else for that matter,
- 34:01Speaker 1: you know. I mean that's so so tough. I mean,
- 34:03Speaker 1: that was Kevin's decision to step down because of what
- 34:06Speaker 1: he did in the past, and um, you know it
- 34:09Speaker 1: was the right one for him. But yeah, I mean
- 34:11Speaker 1: we wouldn't be okay. You know, we'd probably be saying
- 34:14Speaker 1: stuff like, dang, this is gonna follow me till the
- 34:16Speaker 1: end of my life. I can't do it. And because
- 34:18Speaker 1: of social media, things like this does follow you to
- 34:22Speaker 1: the end of your life now because somebody die, Yeah,
- 34:25Speaker 1: pull us your name and see yours from that judgment,
- 34:29Speaker 1: that's absolutely wrong on so many levels because and and
- 34:34Speaker 1: it's not a double edged sword, because it's a double
- 34:38Speaker 1: edged sword, because this is bought up by people who
- 34:42Speaker 1: we know troll the internet looking for reasons to hate,
- 34:48Speaker 1: and then we let them win by succumbing to them
- 34:53Speaker 1: with these these these fears, these fears if a man
- 34:59Speaker 1: says something eight years ago, whether he's a comedian or what.
- 35:04Speaker 1: You know, we write a lot of stuff off as comedians.
- 35:06Speaker 1: I got that, But let's just say whether he's a comedian.
- 35:09Speaker 1: Nine he said it eight years ago. Why do we
- 35:12Speaker 1: allow people to still put their knee on the man's
- 35:17Speaker 1: neck over it? That's not right, man, it's not right.
- 35:24Speaker 1: He didn't He didn't end it for nobody. People still
- 35:28Speaker 1: got the right to do and love who they want
- 35:30Speaker 1: to love. Yeah, he didn't put a dint in it,
- 35:33Speaker 1: all right, Steve, we can continue this take a short
- 35:36Speaker 1: break right here. Coming up next to thirty four after
- 35:38Speaker 1: the hour, more on this Kevin Hart situation. Kevin has
- 35:41Speaker 1: stepped down from hosting the Oscars. We'll talk about it
- 35:44Speaker 1: more right after this. You're listening, okay, Steve. We're still
- 35:51Speaker 1: continuing this conversation about Kevin Harden stepping down from hosting
- 35:55Speaker 1: the Oscars, because as soon as he accepted the invitation
- 36:00Speaker 1: from the Academy, the internet trolls got busy and started,
- 36:04Speaker 1: you know, bringing up the hate and bringing up the
- 36:06Speaker 1: past and what he said in the past, what you said,
- 36:09Speaker 1: what you did at one point in time. All of
- 36:13Speaker 1: us are going to have to get up and move
- 36:17Speaker 1: on from whatever it is that was stopping us or
- 36:21Speaker 1: holding us in the past. All of us are required
- 36:24Speaker 1: to do that, to get up and move past. What
- 36:29Speaker 1: the problem is. We allow people who have little or
- 36:33Speaker 1: nothing to do with something to dig up something and
- 36:37Speaker 1: become an issue. That's so crazy to me. I'm sorry.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Let me give you an off color example. Black people
- 36:48Speaker 1: are not allowed to keep bringing up slave We can't
- 36:52Speaker 1: keep bringing it up. Ain't nobody trying to hear that
- 36:56Speaker 1: it was in the past one hundred years ago. Seem
- 37:02Speaker 1: forget that there's still racism, right, We can't even bring
- 37:06Speaker 1: that up. Really, Yeah, we're not allowed to bring it up.
- 37:10Speaker 1: We can't kneel for it. Yeah, it's a problem. See,
- 37:17Speaker 1: you can't kneel for it. Nothing. So I understand what
- 37:24Speaker 1: it's like to have to forgive and move on. I
- 37:28Speaker 1: know full well what it feels like to have to
- 37:33Speaker 1: get over it. Let bygones be bygones. Enough said, what
- 37:37Speaker 1: are you gonna harp on that? What are you gonna
- 37:39Speaker 1: lay in the mud and wallow in it? I know
- 37:42Speaker 1: full well, as do all of you know full well
- 37:45Speaker 1: what it is like that to wake up and have
- 37:47Speaker 1: to grapple and get on with it every day. So
- 37:50Speaker 1: why is it that Kevin is not allowed? What did
- 37:55Speaker 1: he do that was so horrible that it's unforgivable? And
- 38:00Speaker 1: so before you attack Steve Harvey for defending his friend,
- 38:06Speaker 1: excuse me, but I forgave slavery. So now you quit
- 38:11Speaker 1: talking to me because and see, it's not that far
- 38:15Speaker 1: fetched of a notion. I'm sixty one. I've seen colors
- 38:20Speaker 1: only water fountains. I've seen colors only rest rooms. I've
- 38:25Speaker 1: been told that we pay at the back. I'm sixty one,
- 38:30Speaker 1: and ain't that far away? Now? I have managed to
- 38:35Speaker 1: get up and make something out of myself in spite
- 38:39Speaker 1: of without holding it against everybody that I would consider
- 38:44Speaker 1: an oppressor, because everybody ain't you got at one point
- 38:51Speaker 1: in time? Man, We have to allow people to grow.
- 38:57Speaker 1: Like he said, he was a different person back then,
- 39:00Speaker 1: but he's apologized. What more do you want a man
- 39:04Speaker 1: to do? So? Like he said, for those of you
- 39:07Speaker 1: that dug up the tweets, you could have dug up
- 39:10Speaker 1: his response to the tweets too, and we would have
- 39:13Speaker 1: found out that the man said he made a mistake.
- 39:16Speaker 1: This is where he airs all of us. All of
- 39:19Speaker 1: us have a pass. All of us have done something
- 39:21Speaker 1: that we that we cannot erase. Man, So I look
- 39:25Speaker 1: at it like this. We should not be prisoners of
- 39:27Speaker 1: our past. That you know this, this, this is a lesson.
- 39:32Speaker 1: It ain't a life sentence. Yeah, or we would never
- 39:34Speaker 1: do anything. We would never do anything. We would never
- 39:37Speaker 1: have any accomplishments in our life. You know, you should
- 39:40Speaker 1: use your pass to propel you into greatness and to
- 39:43Speaker 1: better learn, to learn. Absolutely. So, who's gonna host the Oscars?
- 39:48Speaker 1: Because I think the pope is tied up? Yeah? Yeah,
- 39:57Speaker 1: you need somebody with no mistake. They need g Jesus.
- 40:00Speaker 1: Yeah he's coming. I don't think he's coming back down.
- 40:03Speaker 1: I want you to pick someone who two's gonna host
- 40:07Speaker 1: to Oscar who has never ever used the N word?
- 40:12Speaker 1: Whoa Oh okay, okay, all right, that's the challenge right there,
- 40:16Speaker 1: Steve Ye just that right? Wow? Well I how many
- 40:27Speaker 1: people ain't gonna be Yeah, it's definitely looking forward to Kevi.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Some people that's our favor something some people we really love.
- 40:33Speaker 1: All right, Uh, we'll change gears and lighten things up
- 40:38Speaker 1: a bit. The nephew's up next with a prank phone call.
- 40:40Speaker 1: We'll be back right after this. You're listening to show
- 40:45Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 40:48Speaker 1: four minutes after. It's today's Strawberry Letters subject. I'd rather
- 40:52Speaker 1: watch him than talk to them. I'd rather watch him
- 40:55Speaker 1: than talk to them. But right now the nephew is
- 40:58Speaker 1: in the bill tang with today's prying phone call. What
- 41:01Speaker 1: you got nough? My refrigerent wat whoa my refrigera, my refrigerator?
- 41:10Speaker 1: It is listen, hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach you, mister. Please,
- 41:15Speaker 1: miss this is Jackson. I'm the driver. Man, I'm actually

- 51:02Speaker 1: My friends and family say that I have a problem.
- 51:06Speaker 1: I don't think I do. Here's the issue at hand.
- 51:09Speaker 1: I'm in love with a married, handsome, Debonair bald Man.
- 51:15Speaker 1: He's married to a very beautiful woman, and he has
- 51:18Speaker 1: a beautiful family that he adores greatly. I want to
- 51:22Speaker 1: be clear. I'm not in love with him in a
- 51:25Speaker 1: sexual way. I'm just in love with his TV shows.
- 51:30Speaker 1: I'm totally hooked. Can I get through the letter? Please?
- 51:33Speaker 1: Thank you. I watch all of his shows, and I
- 51:36Speaker 1: listen to him daily on the radio. I can watch
- 51:40Speaker 1: I can watch two shows at a time because I
- 51:43Speaker 1: have a firestick, I DVR anything I miss, and I
- 51:47Speaker 1: follow all of his social media pages. I even watch
- 51:51Speaker 1: YouTube clips at work on my break My friends and
- 51:54Speaker 1: my husband constantly tell me that there are other shows
- 51:57Speaker 1: on TV, but not to me. When this show moved
- 52:01Speaker 1: from Chicago to LA, I was heartbroken. I live in
- 52:07Speaker 1: a Chicago suburb and it just felt good to be
- 52:09Speaker 1: in the same city with him. I hate that I
- 52:12Speaker 1: never go. I never got to see one of his
- 52:14Speaker 1: TV show live tapings in Chicago. I don't think I'll
- 52:18Speaker 1: ever make it to LA to see him, and this
- 52:21Speaker 1: has started to take over my life. But now it's
- 52:23Speaker 1: all I do for fun. Do you see this as
- 52:26Speaker 1: being a problem. If so, how can I wean myself
- 52:30Speaker 1: from my TV and this addiction so that I can
- 52:33Speaker 1: joy the holidays with my family and friends. I'm sick
- 52:37Speaker 1: of the jokes and remarks. Please help me. Who is
- 52:42Speaker 1: this strange man you speak about? TV shows? Social media
- 52:47Speaker 1: page moved from Chicago to La sounds like Steve Harvey
- 52:56Speaker 1: to me, huh, all right, we're we know it's Steve Harvey.
- 53:03Speaker 1: You're in love with Steve Harvey, Tommy, Jay and Junior.
- 53:06Speaker 1: I'm mad right now because you call him handsome. But
- 53:09Speaker 1: and you know they think they're all fine and handsome
- 53:11Speaker 1: in everything. But at least especially Tommy, at least you
- 53:15Speaker 1: said you weren't in love with him in a sexual way,
- 53:17Speaker 1: so they may be all right on that. There are
- 53:21Speaker 1: no twelve step programs to help you get rid of
- 53:24Speaker 1: your obsession with Steve Harvey, and yes it is an obsession,
- 53:27Speaker 1: and yes you do need some help. So I say
- 53:30Speaker 1: you're just gonna have to You're just gonna have to
- 53:32Speaker 1: figure out how to live with this situation. I say
- 53:35Speaker 1: you start off by listening to his radio show, continuing
- 53:38Speaker 1: to do that, you know, the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 53:40Speaker 1: starting at six am Eastern five Central where you are,
- 53:44Speaker 1: because you know that, with a healthy dose of his
- 53:48Speaker 1: talk show. Steve then follow that up with a nice
- 53:51Speaker 1: serving of family feud and celebrity family feud and not
- 53:54Speaker 1: to mention, you wrote us just in time to catch
- 53:57Speaker 1: him on the Miss Universe pageant. Okay, he said, you're
- 54:00Speaker 1: gonna be busy over the holidays, girl. Basically, basically, Steve
- 54:05Speaker 1: loves his fans. Okay, he loves his fans. Uh, You're
- 54:09Speaker 1: gonna be fine. Um, And I'm sure glad that you
- 54:13Speaker 1: know he's gonna respect your loyalty because he is. But ps,
- 54:17Speaker 1: please cut some help because you are obsessed with him.
- 54:20Speaker 1: You are. It is getting a little out of control.
- 54:22Speaker 1: But he does love his fans, and we respect and
- 54:24Speaker 1: love you too. Steve. Man of the moment a whole.
- 54:36Speaker 1: I'm in love with a married handsel Debor Naw, yeah,
- 54:44Speaker 1: did you just look off anybody else? I'm sure feeling
- 54:55Speaker 1: this right. I'm feeling this right now. This is really
- 54:58Speaker 1: about me. It is he's married to a very beautiful woman.
- 55:02Speaker 1: He's got a beautiful family here doors greatly. I want
- 55:06Speaker 1: to be clear, I'm not in love with him in
- 55:08Speaker 1: a sexual way. I'm just in love with his TV show.
- 55:13Speaker 1: I'm totally who. I watch you every damn day. I
- 55:18Speaker 1: listened to him on the reader. I watched two shows

- 55:33Speaker 1: dv are anything I missed, and I follow all his
- 55:37Speaker 1: social media pages. I watch YouTube clips at work on
- 55:40Speaker 1: my break My friends now hit the keyword, and my husband,
- 55:46Speaker 1: yes she's married, constantly tell me that the other shows
- 55:49Speaker 1: on TV, but not to me. When this show moved
- 55:52Speaker 1: from Chicago to LA I was heartbroken. It was too
- 55:55Speaker 1: cold up there. I couldn't take another damn vortex. You
- 56:02Speaker 1: know it's cold when they quit calling Nicole is Hell
- 56:04Speaker 1: and they rename it to Vortex Scientific. I hate that
- 56:10Speaker 1: I never got to see one of his shows live.
- 56:13Speaker 1: Sometimes you have to find things to thank God for.
- 56:16Speaker 1: You ever had to thank God for something you didn't
- 56:18Speaker 1: know nothing about? One of them? I hate that I
- 56:23Speaker 1: never got to see one of his TV shows in Chicago.
- 56:25Speaker 1: I don't think I ever make it there later. See
- 56:29Speaker 1: see how God keep giving you reason to thank you.
- 56:31Speaker 1: That wall start to take over my life and now
- 56:36Speaker 1: it's all I do for fun? Do you see that's
- 56:39Speaker 1: as being a problem. I do, yes, I absolutely because
- 56:45Speaker 1: it the key word and this whole thing for me
- 56:47Speaker 1: is my husband. I don't need his ass looking for me.
- 56:55Speaker 1: How can I wean myself from his TV in this
- 57:01Speaker 1: addiction so I can enjoy the holidays with my family
- 57:04Speaker 1: and friends. I'm sick of the jokes and the remarks.
- 57:06Speaker 1: Please help, Well, she's a loyal fan. Yeah, the only
- 57:16Speaker 1: thing I see happening in this ladder, regrettably, because I'm

- 1:20:37Speaker 1: John Travolta, and Willie Nelson were also mentioned. Cohen recently
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: admitted to lying to Congress about Trump's business dealings with Russia.
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: Will you mentioned with me what I've been through? I
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: tak care of me, You take care of you. What
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: problem is a good time to say? I'm back here?
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: What do you think about that? Steve Wow? I mean,
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: tax problems are so delicate, scary to me. I don't
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: want to say nothing before it could have been me
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: but for the grace of gold. So I don't know.
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: I mean the Cohen dude, they tried. They gotta cut
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: some deals. You know what, This Cohen guy can't be
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: guilty of all these things and none of it touches
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: Donald Trump. The only problem is you can't convict or
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: bring under indictment against a sitting president. You can't do that, can't. No,
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: that's what I understand. Yeah, that's the whole thing. What
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: about a man peach him? They can charge him with
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: a crime while he's in office, him starting eachment. The
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: impeachment is different than filing charges. It's that's the one
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: thing you can't do with the sitting president to impeachment
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: is filing charges against God. Yeah, go ahead, he's charged
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: with a crime while in office. All right, go ahead?
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: So far? What go ahead? Because I'm you know, you
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: can't bring charges. The impeachment is a different process. That's
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: the government. You're talking about. Indicting a sitting president not
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: going to happen now, if you're going to impeach him
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: and Act of Congress, y'all got to hear your thing together.
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: But I don't think you can bring actual charges against
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: a sitting president. I think you can't. Well, well, okay,
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: why why his ass ain't got no charges? Okay? Yea.
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: The Muller investigation isn't even finished yet. I mean they're
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: gathering information. I'm sure I can, y'all probably right. I
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: just got you. I'm just trying to come in and
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: be effective. One other entertainment news, we'll move on, Steve.
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: Another entertainment news. Nominees for the seventy six annual Golden
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: Globe Awards were announced yesterday. Best Most Motion Picture Drama,
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: Black Panther, Black Klansman, Bohemian Rhapsody, If Beal Street Could Talk,
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: A Star is Born, And these are some of them.
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: And Best Performance of Drama, not for Best Drama Book
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: Best Drama. That was a great movie though. All right,
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: we'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: Show right after this. You're listening to show. Shout out
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: to Tyler Perry, our friend, Tyler Perry, and your friend,
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: especially Steve. Tyler Perry found a brand new way to
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: spread joy this holiday season. He paid off hundreds of
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: layaway bills for people he's never even met. He doesn't
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: even know these people. This is according to your website,
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: Steve Steve Harvey FM. Yesterday Tyler sent some huge checks
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: to two Atlanta area Walmart stores. He dropped off one
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: hundred and seventy eight thousand dollars at one store in Atlanta,
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: and then another check for two hundred and fifty six
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: thousand dollars at a nearby store in Douglasville, Georgia. He
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: talked about it on social media. Take a listen. So
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: I was trying to do this anonymously, but due to
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: some circumstances. You know enough and stay secret these days,
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: so I just wanted to go ahead and tell you
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: if you have a layaway at the Walmart at eight
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: forty four Cleveland Avenue in East Point, Georgia, in Atlanta,
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: or if you have a layoway at the Walmart at
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: seven zero zero one Concourse Parkway in Douglasville, Georgia. If
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: you ever layowad either place and it was in there
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: as of nine thirty this morning, it was already in
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: layaway before nine thirty this morning. I have paid for
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: all of your lay aways for Christmas. So Merry Christmas, everybody.
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: You got to go into Walmart, get your lay away,
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: pay a penny, one penny, and you get your lay away.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: I know it's hard times. A lot of people are struggling,
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: and I'm just really really grateful to be able to
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: be in a position to do this. So God, lets
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: you go get your stuff. Marry Christmas. Wine. Wow Tyler,
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: if you're listening, I gotta Range roll on lay away.
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: If you can stop by the Aamar and then I
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: just come back after you and put that penny down.
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: I'd like to roll out just like that, if that's possible. Life. Hello, Range.
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: It was very nice for him to help Underpinnish people.
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: Really nice. You're trifling behind fortunate, that's real. I found
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: some kind of way about that though. What do you
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: mean Jack Well, because he knew that I paid for
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: three a couple of weeks ago. Yes, what did I
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: do to help people? And I paid for three? They
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: always here comes Tyler, Here comes Tyler trying to show
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: me up. That's oh, this is personal. I'm gonna be
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: honest with you, Jamie and kill when you said three,
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: ween thing, I didn't move you? It out? Three? You did?
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: All right? Jake? How much a buckady? It's all good?
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: That's right, Tyler said, he was trying to be anonymous
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: with it. Not let his right hand know what his
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: left hand was doing. No, no, no, two hundred thousand
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: left hand, right legs and everybody gonna that was really sweet. Yeah, No,
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: that was Superman. That's also big great man. Yeah. Coming up,
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: we'll close out the show. It's been a good day
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: this Friday. Come back with our last break of the day.
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: That's right, Jay, right after this you're listening to all right,
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: here we go the end of the show. We've made
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: it last break of the day. What a day it
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: has been too. Uh. As mentioned as Steve has brought
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: us closing remarks back. We um love to hear your
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: inspirational closing remarks Steve your motivational closing remarks, and today
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: I got one for you today. I um, I think
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: it's important that everybody, everybody really really up your expectations.
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: I mean really really focusing focus on upping your expectations.
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: Uh this year really put a positive twist on your life.
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: You can do that, man, you can. You can up
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: your expectations. You have a so in your outcome. But
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: you have to adjust the attitude. You've got to think positive.
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: You've got to focus on the positive things that's happening
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: in your life. You have to take inventory constantly of
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: everything that's going right in your life. Stop focusing on
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: the negative. Everybody got something wrong. That's not a person
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: living that ain't got something wrong. So what Yeah you
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: got something wrong. Yeah you're not where you want to be,
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: But guess what you can be on your way. And
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: that's the thing that people lose focus of. Sometimes they
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: get so caught up into where they are now that
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: they lose focus on the where they could be going,
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: where you're headed, where you're at now. Let me explain
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: something to you about right now. Right now is a
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: very fleeting moment, because let's say you're talking about something
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: now do you know in just one sixty seconds is
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: now a part of the past. It doesn't matter where
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: you are, it's where you're going. Don't get stuck in
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: where you are. Somebody sent me a plaque one time,
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: and I keep it on my desk in Atlanta, and
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: I was going through a real, real, real dog period
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: in my life. And he's a friend of mine, and
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: he knew it. He's an accountant. As a matter of fact.
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: It is Rogers salted and I'm saying my financial en Chicago,
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: and he knew I was going through a dog dog
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: period in my life. And he sent me a plaque
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: and I keep it on my desk. And the plaque said,
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: when you're going through hell, just keep going. And that
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: registered with me, because why would you be going through
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: hell and stop there? So you're just gonna put it
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: on park in the middle of hell? Or doesn't make
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: sense to keep going because it just ties into what
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: I'm telling you. It doesn't matter where you are, it's
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: where you're going. You've got to get your focus to
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: move in the right direction. I'm gonna give you this
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: scripture again in case all of you. It's something I
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: read all the time. It's Ephesians three twenty, and I
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: read it every day, you know, I memorize it. But
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: it says God will do exceedingly and abundantly above all
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: that I ask or think, because I honor Him, His
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: blessings will chase me down and overtake me. I will
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: be in the right place at the right time. People
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: will go out of their way to be good to me.
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: I am surrounded by God's favor. This is my declaration.
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: If you read this every day and you implement this
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: once again, it's Ephesians three twenty. Now I got the
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: Bible with the four different translations in it, so I
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: can understand what I'm saying. So this is not the
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: King James version I gave you. It's a translation of
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: what it actually means. But memorizing the scripture for how
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: what it means is what you need. You don't gotta
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: go word for word. You need to get the meaning
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: of it. Don't trip on that other part right there.
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: But if you incorporate this in your life on a
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: day to day, you'd be amazed what can happen to you.
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: You all can put your life into the realm of expectation.
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: I expect good things to happen to me. Even when
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: something bad happens to me, I still look for something
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: good to happen to me, and it always does. I
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: don't care what mistake I've made. God has always gotten
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: me through it. And He's done the exact same thing
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: for you. He's always gotten you through it. Just look
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: at your life. All that stuff you thought you wasn't
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: gonna make it through, he got you, man, He pulled
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: you through it somehow, all them days you didn't think
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: you was gonna make it. You remember where you was,
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: and they look at where you at now. Now, if
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: you think that you're in a worst place now than
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: you were in your past, why don't you get back
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: to that expect something good to happen to you. Live
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: a life filled with positive expectations. Don't do not bury
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: yourself by going through hell and then staying there. Some
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: people cannot get out of their misery because they won't
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: quit acknowledging the misery. Look, if the Bible says a
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: man is as he thinking, and all you ever think
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: is old woe is me, then guess what old woe
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: is me. But if you look for the upside, the
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: bright side, if you look for and live a life
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: expectation that there are some good out there for you,
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: then good comes your way. It's that's the way it is.
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: That's not a theory of mine. That's a promise of God.
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: I ain't up in his spear and nothing. I think
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: I'd have seen this stuff work for me. You know
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: how many public mistakes I've made, y'all been watching me, y'all, y'all,
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: it's been fans of minds for years. You all have
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: seen the evolution of me. Now, he ain't through with
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: me yet, but you've seen me back when I was this,
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: when I was that, when I made that mistake, when
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: I made this mistake. But you know it, I never
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: allowed the mistakes to bury me or define me. I
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: expected something good to happen. And guess what I've recovered
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: from them all. He's pulled me through them all. He'd
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: do the same thing for you. Epeesians three twenty. Start
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: reading it every day, man, and live your life in
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: a positive expectation. That'll help you. Yes, So you better
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: say that, man. I just did follow us on Steve
