- 0:46Speaker 1: money making conversations. My man ain't saw him in a
- 0:48Speaker 1: long time. Last Alonzo, Hey, I'm doing good, my friend. Look,
- 0:56Speaker 1: first of all, Man, you know I know you, I
- 0:58Speaker 1: know you have you have faith, I know you. Your
- 1:01Speaker 1: career is tied to hard work. Just just a blessing. Man.
- 1:05Speaker 1: To see the diversity or your resume, That's what really
- 1:09Speaker 1: impresses me about your performance schedule. Man, can you talk
- 1:12Speaker 1: about that a little bit, thank you, man. Yeah, man,
- 1:16Speaker 1: I mean I've always wanted to to uh dibble and
- 1:20Speaker 1: dabble and do you know, as a film as well
- 1:22Speaker 1: as TV. Right now, TV is at a level where,
- 1:27Speaker 1: uh it's just as good and in some cases better
- 1:30Speaker 1: than film. Right so you can really get a lot
- 1:32Speaker 1: done in both mediums where you're reaching people in their
- 1:35Speaker 1: own home theaters and at the same time doing stuff,
- 1:39Speaker 1: you know, in a traditional sense, which is you know TV.
- 1:42Speaker 1: I mean that film and having people come out and
- 1:45Speaker 1: make it an event type of situation, which is what
- 1:47Speaker 1: you know, Fashion Furious and Avatar. That's event type of
- 1:51Speaker 1: films where people playing around, going to those you know,
- 1:53Speaker 1: the Marvel movie things like that. We know. There's the
- 1:56Speaker 1: thing thing about because I gotta mention because every time
- 1:58Speaker 1: I don't care what it is, but I'm going to
- 2:00Speaker 1: watch the last forty minutes of Avatar. I'm gonna watch it.
- 2:05Speaker 1: I gotta see you die, man, get get shot off
- 2:07Speaker 1: the back of that plane. You know it's sad after
- 2:11Speaker 1: you get that big old speech to my man and
- 2:14Speaker 1: everybody rallying behind him. That movie, man, was that was
- 2:17Speaker 1: that a career changer for you or just on your
- 2:20Speaker 1: resume because it just became so big and he became
- 2:24Speaker 1: big to the world. Yeah, man, I mean it's still
- 2:28Speaker 1: the highest grossing film of all time. Uh. The Avengers
- 2:33Speaker 1: Endgame just re released trying to take us down. But
- 2:37Speaker 1: I don't think they're not gonna. They've been able to
- 2:39Speaker 1: do it. Thirty seven million sharp, bro, that's a lot
- 2:42Speaker 1: to make up on the movie, man, because the thing
- 2:44Speaker 1: about it they did well though, that ain't nothing to
- 2:47Speaker 1: you know that. You know, you can't take it away
- 2:49Speaker 1: from him. They did a great movie too. I enjoyed it.
- 2:51Speaker 1: I want to go see it absolutely. But um, but yeah, man,
- 2:55Speaker 1: I think what I think. Even we were surprised, to
- 2:57Speaker 1: be honest with you about Avatar because I remember when
- 2:59Speaker 1: we were filming this movie. Um, James Cameron would tell us,
- 3:02Speaker 1: you know, uh, don't expect to beat Titanic. Told he said,
- 3:07Speaker 1: our success or failure is not whether or not we
- 3:11Speaker 1: beat Titanic. He said. The difference between Nothing Titanic was
- 3:15Speaker 1: was you had a young, you know, good looking Leonardo
- 3:18Speaker 1: DiCaprio where high school girls were going out to see it,
- 3:21Speaker 1: you know, five six times a week with all their girlfriends,
- 3:26Speaker 1: you know, all the little high school girls. They were
- 3:27Speaker 1: like high school girls are gonna come out to see
- 3:30Speaker 1: Blue People five or six times a week. And so
- 3:34Speaker 1: so our expectations weren't to be in the number one spot.
- 3:38Speaker 1: We just wanted to do a great film. Man. I
- 3:40Speaker 1: think sometimes you know, when you stay focused on the
- 3:43Speaker 1: craft and you stay focused on doing the absolute best. Yeah,
- 3:47Speaker 1: you know, for me, it was this was my opportunity
- 3:50Speaker 1: to do my Star Wars. You know, I wanted to
- 3:54Speaker 1: be in Star Wars when I was a kid. I
- 3:56Speaker 1: grew up watching Star Wars. That was the movie that
- 3:58Speaker 1: I grew up idolizing. So when I got this opportunity,
- 4:01Speaker 1: I said, Okay, this is my Star Wars. And so
- 4:04Speaker 1: I was already happy to be in the film. Um
- 4:07Speaker 1: once as I started for the first time, you know,
- 4:09Speaker 1: we screened it and it was crazy because at the time,
- 4:12Speaker 1: you know, Arnold Schwartznaker was governor, you know, Steven Spielberg
- 4:16Speaker 1: was at the screen and I didn't expect to see
- 4:18Speaker 1: all these types of people at the screening. And I
- 4:20Speaker 1: was like, Okay, I hope I did a good job,
- 4:24Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, and uh, and I was.
- 4:28Speaker 1: I was pleasantly surprised. Man like thirty minutes into the movie,
- 4:31Speaker 1: I didn't care who was in there. I was so
- 4:34Speaker 1: locked in. I was like, Okay, we really made something
- 4:37Speaker 1: special here. That's when I started to really really feel it.
- 4:40Speaker 1: You know the thing about it, I I look at
- 4:42Speaker 1: it because I know who you are, you know, as
- 4:45Speaker 1: an as an Acreen actor, and I know a lot
- 4:47Speaker 1: of people who don't understand the about it. It It actually
- 4:49Speaker 1: will work to do those type of roles. Were you
- 4:52Speaker 1: morphing into the character makeup and all that stuff, and
- 4:55Speaker 1: blue screen and green screen, all kind of stuff to
- 4:57Speaker 1: be able to accomplish those casts. That's a lot of work.
- 5:00Speaker 1: That That means you have to be patient, You have
- 5:01Speaker 1: to be polite, You have to be aware that it
- 5:05Speaker 1: might it might be one, two, three, four or five
- 5:07Speaker 1: six takes to get it right. What holds you true
- 5:10Speaker 1: to your craft when people see the success of your
- 5:12Speaker 1: story and I know the journey way back in the
- 5:15Speaker 1: l A back in two thousands. You know, when Steve
- 5:17Speaker 1: Harvey and I were doing the radio and you were
- 5:19Speaker 1: just just like everybody else, man, and I guess what,
- 5:22Speaker 1: we're not comfortable, But you know, back then there were
- 5:24Speaker 1: no options. It was just I had a dream right,
- 5:26Speaker 1: talk about that journey a right, Um, you know want
- 5:30Speaker 1: for me? Um, you know the first parties question when
- 5:33Speaker 1: you talk about the transformation, that's what I pride myself on.
- 5:37Speaker 1: You know, uh I didn't want to be one of
- 5:40Speaker 1: these actors that played the same exact character every single
- 5:43Speaker 1: movie where it really seems like they're playing themselves. You know,
- 5:45Speaker 1: you if you can imitate an actor, then they didn't transform.
- 5:50Speaker 1: You know, they can gave you what they always give you,
- 5:53Speaker 1: whereas uh I wanted to always become a completely different
- 5:57Speaker 1: human being in every single role, to the point where
- 5:59Speaker 1: you don't recognizing where it's an unrecognizable person from me,
- 6:04Speaker 1: from yan to me, that's acting right. And you know,
- 6:10Speaker 1: I'll never forget when I did Spike LEAs movie Miracle
- 6:13Speaker 1: at Saint Anna, people thought it was Jeffrey Right that
- 6:16Speaker 1: played the old man in the film. Now, I wan't
- 6:19Speaker 1: huge Jeffrey Right game. So to me, that was a
- 6:22Speaker 1: compliment to be confused to have my work confused for
- 6:25Speaker 1: his Jeffrey Right, because that's telling me that, Yeah, that's
- 6:27Speaker 1: that's telling me that, Okay, that was a good for Camers.
- 6:31Speaker 1: You know, you never hear his name in a bad
- 6:32Speaker 1: performance and absolutely not. But but but yeah, man, I
- 6:36Speaker 1: mean that that was my goal was not to be
- 6:39Speaker 1: not not that I wanted to be confused with Jeffrey
- 6:41Speaker 1: right but you're just when there's a body of people
- 6:44Speaker 1: out there that you like. Jeffrey Righty started recently started
- 6:47Speaker 1: the Westwood series on HBO an amazing actor is all right.
- 6:52Speaker 1: But the thing that when I look at you in Boardwalk,
- 6:55Speaker 1: he was in Boardwalker as well. And so if you
- 6:57Speaker 1: look when I look at your work, you know, like
- 6:59Speaker 1: when I saw you, asked you furious and you you know,
- 7:02Speaker 1: here's the thing. When Denzel did a Man on Fire
- 7:05Speaker 1: and he was speaking spat, I went wow, And then
- 7:09Speaker 1: I heard you speak in Spanish in fast and furious.
- 7:12Speaker 1: That to me, it's another level to me, that's I
- 7:15Speaker 1: mean that that means that you're you're willing to be yourself.
- 7:17Speaker 1: You want to articulate and then be and and guess
- 7:21Speaker 1: what didn't feel like a character. And I think that's
- 7:23Speaker 1: important when you make those decisions in your role. And
- 7:26Speaker 1: I'm just letting you know. You know we're gonna get
- 7:28Speaker 1: into the boys, but I just want to let you
- 7:30Speaker 1: know as a fan, as a producer, as a guy
- 7:32Speaker 1: who's casting and see many talented people, and I also
- 7:36Speaker 1: discovered some talented people. You. Every one of your roles
- 7:39Speaker 1: feels different, man, every one of your role feels different.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Thank you, Thank you that to see that. That to me,
- 7:47Speaker 1: that's a compliment. You know when when you can look
- 7:50Speaker 1: at two pieces of my work. You look at this
- 7:53Speaker 1: Christmas and you look at Fast and Furious, and you
- 7:55Speaker 1: don't see the same person. You know, that's my objective.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Oh no, jump in the broom or stuff to y'all. Okay,
- 8:02Speaker 1: all that that body of work man is you know,
- 8:05Speaker 1: like you said that Despike Lee movie. I remember that movie.
- 8:08Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, you know, and there was
- 8:10Speaker 1: a Wards War movie and so all that it's like,
- 8:13Speaker 1: um allows me to believe that when when you're going
- 8:16Speaker 1: forward the opportunity to get a role, they just see
- 8:19Speaker 1: you as an actor. They don't see you. And now
- 8:22Speaker 1: I like to believe that when I say that, because
- 8:24Speaker 1: I've seen your body of work and I've been a
- 8:26Speaker 1: fan of your body of work and even as shows
- 8:29Speaker 1: you got to talk about to come up on Amazon Prime.
- 8:31Speaker 1: We're gonna continue the next break, but I just want
- 8:33Speaker 1: to let everybody know who you are because we were
- 8:36Speaker 1: talking about the series The Boys or Amazon original series.
- 8:39Speaker 1: We're gonna take a break about thirty seconds and it it
- 8:41Speaker 1: won't come right back on the next break, and when
- 8:43Speaker 1: we're gonna finish it all that's all we're gonna talk about.
- 8:45Speaker 1: It's The Boys. But I just had to tell everybody
- 8:47Speaker 1: about my man last along asough. We gotta talk about
- 8:50Speaker 1: two thousand two man, when I took you and Steve
- 8:52Speaker 1: advice to okay, cool coming out. We're gonna do that.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Okay cool, coming right back. Hi, just with Sean McDonald.
- 8:59Speaker 1: You're listening to money making conversations, a show about it
- 9:02Speaker 1: about entrepreneurship, entertainment on the show is a deer. Uh.
- 9:07Speaker 1: I like to see you. I'm a mentor. He's a
- 9:09Speaker 1: mentee because I like to look at him as a
- 9:11Speaker 1: person that, uh, that I've seen over the years and
- 9:14Speaker 1: I've been up I had. I feel played the role
- 9:16Speaker 1: in his life because I try to be who I
- 9:18Speaker 1: am and be consistent about who I am. He's starting
- 9:20Speaker 1: a new Amazon original series called The Boys. The Serious
- 9:23Speaker 1: premiers on July on Friday, July twenty six, and all
- 9:27Speaker 1: episodes will be available and on Amazon Prime Video. You
- 9:30Speaker 1: about before with the break, you about to say something
- 9:32Speaker 1: about something that that Steve Harvey and I, uh play
- 9:35Speaker 1: the role in focus. Yeah. I mean like nowadays, you know,
- 9:38Speaker 1: I see a lot of uh. You know, we have
- 9:41Speaker 1: Instagram and we have all these social media, so you
- 9:44Speaker 1: actually see people on the daily basis, whereas back in
- 9:47Speaker 1: the day, you wouldn't wouldn't see cats unless you ran
- 9:50Speaker 1: into him at an audition, or you ran or you
- 9:52Speaker 1: saw him on screen. And one thing that I've noticed
- 9:56Speaker 1: is that patience is so low. I think we live
- 9:58Speaker 1: in a society now where you can it everything immediately,
- 10:01Speaker 1: go online, see somebody, you know, FaceTime, somebody you want
- 10:05Speaker 1: to send some money, you can just transfer it. You
- 10:07Speaker 1: know that people don't understand that to accomplish things, you
- 10:11Speaker 1: gotta also be patient and believe. And I remember one
- 10:14Speaker 1: morning man, when you and Steve were doing l A
- 10:18Speaker 1: you know, the morning show here and y'all had you know,
- 10:20Speaker 1: I mean, y'all they've always been doing everything, just take
- 10:23Speaker 1: the platforms. At one time, I used to be a
- 10:26Speaker 1: faithful listener, you know, to that morning show. Uh, And
- 10:30Speaker 1: I remember one morning Steve said, the way to accomplish
- 10:34Speaker 1: your those is to write them down and read them
- 10:36Speaker 1: every morning and every night, right before you go to
- 10:39Speaker 1: sleep and right when you wake up first thing in
- 10:41Speaker 1: the morning, and to read them out loud and to
- 10:43Speaker 1: really feel them, you know. And I incorporated that. You know,
- 10:46Speaker 1: I saw what chard we're doing, and y'all are people
- 10:49Speaker 1: that I looked up to, and so I started doing it.
- 10:52Speaker 1: And I'm gonna tell you, man, Uh, that became a
- 10:55Speaker 1: a a way of life for me. You know, it
- 10:57Speaker 1: became part of my lifestyle to where you know, I
- 11:00Speaker 1: was getting so good at it. Man, three months down,
- 11:03Speaker 1: I could knock off and everything off the listen and
- 11:05Speaker 1: write a new list, you know. And so it just
- 11:09Speaker 1: taught me patience. It taught me to really trust and
- 11:11Speaker 1: lean on my face, and it taught me to you know,
- 11:14Speaker 1: to be able to focus stay focused on my goals
- 11:17Speaker 1: once I make them. So I want to thank you
- 11:19Speaker 1: for that. Man. Well I'm gonna tell you something. I
- 11:21Speaker 1: appreciate this the thanks, but more importantly, you know, because
- 11:24Speaker 1: you know, when I when I hear you, because I
- 11:26Speaker 1: know what you're saying means a lot to me. And
- 11:30Speaker 1: and and you just believe in yourself. Last, that's all
- 11:35Speaker 1: and all we were trying to tell and That's all
- 11:37Speaker 1: I try to tell people to show is that just
- 11:39Speaker 1: stop stop listening to people telling you what you can't do.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Just some relatives out there there will put some blinders
- 11:46Speaker 1: on you because they don't understand your dream. Because everybody understands,
- 11:50Speaker 1: you know, a bank teller's job, or or a secretary's job,
- 11:54Speaker 1: or maybe not even understand the executive jobs. That's why
- 11:57Speaker 1: they tell you not to reach for those positions because
- 11:59Speaker 1: they can't explain it to you. Know, I can't tell
- 12:01Speaker 1: me my everyday job, nor can you. If somebody asks
- 12:04Speaker 1: you what you do today, you go, wow. You you
- 12:07Speaker 1: take a step back because you go, okay, I did that.
- 12:11Speaker 1: But it doesn't even sound like much. But it consumes
- 12:13Speaker 1: a lot of mental time, physical time planning because you know,
- 12:17Speaker 1: for yourself, it's a job, but it's a job that
- 12:20Speaker 1: cannot be explained. It's a job that's driven by faith. Because, brother,
- 12:24Speaker 1: if you don't have it, then you're gonna slow down,
- 12:27Speaker 1: because you need to be turned around praying to somebody
- 12:30Speaker 1: that this opportunity has been given to you and also
- 12:32Speaker 1: giving you the strength to be an accomplished the opportunity
- 12:35Speaker 1: that's been given to you. And one of the opportunities
- 12:37Speaker 1: we're talking about. Right now, brother, we're gonna say, well,
- 12:39Speaker 1: with this new series called The Boys, Now, are you
- 12:42Speaker 1: play the superhero in this series? Are you playing? Are
- 12:47Speaker 1: you playing a superhero in this series? Ah? So here's
- 12:52Speaker 1: the thing, man, It really defines on what It really
- 12:54Speaker 1: depends on what you define super I mean superheroes good
- 13:01Speaker 1: or are superheroes bad people? There you go, you know,
- 13:05Speaker 1: having superpowers all of a sudden make you a hero
- 13:09Speaker 1: or does it just mean that you're just a bad
- 13:11Speaker 1: person with some superpowers? You know? Those are the That's
- 13:14Speaker 1: where our show is different from a regular superhero show. Right,
- 13:18Speaker 1: So the measure happy because this is pretty deep in
- 13:21Speaker 1: what you just said here last okay, because you you
- 13:23Speaker 1: step back on me. Hold up, now, what what do
- 13:26Speaker 1: you mean a superhero? Because because you know I would
- 13:29Speaker 1: black Panther, you know, no, no, noish, I would Avenge
- 13:33Speaker 1: just na na no. So so I went and saw
- 13:37Speaker 1: some of the trailers and it was talking about it
- 13:39Speaker 1: like this just this company called VAT right, uh, and
- 13:43Speaker 1: they have these superheroes, but they're not nice superheroes. Correct. Well,
- 13:49Speaker 1: what what it talks about is its superheroes really are
- 13:52Speaker 1: just people. Yes, they're just human beings that have a
- 13:55Speaker 1: little different power than you. You know, your power might
- 13:59Speaker 1: be the cool food on the able every night for
- 14:00Speaker 1: your children. You know. Your power might be, you know,
- 14:03Speaker 1: to donate some bone marrow to somebody that needs it.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Or your power might be to donate some blood, you know,
- 14:08Speaker 1: somebody who's dying and needs a blood transfusion. Or trust me,
- 14:11Speaker 1: you've got more power than than Superman can if your
- 14:14Speaker 1: blood saved their life or their mama's life, or the childlife.
- 14:17Speaker 1: You know. So it really depends on how we define
- 14:19Speaker 1: a hero in this particular world. And the Boys, the
- 14:22Speaker 1: so called superheroes are just people that still has They
- 14:26Speaker 1: have all these great superpowers where we consider superpowers, but
- 14:29Speaker 1: they're still insecure. They're still they still have uh. They
- 14:35Speaker 1: still jealousies, suffer from jealousy and envy. They still hate
- 14:38Speaker 1: on each other. And so what we do as the
- 14:43Speaker 1: Boys is we decide we're gonna pull the sheet down
- 14:48Speaker 1: and we're gonna expose who these so called superheroes really are.
- 14:53Speaker 1: And sometimes you don't need powers to be able to
- 14:56Speaker 1: do that. Okay, okay, okay, but that's day though. If
- 15:00Speaker 1: you don't have powers, trying to mess with people with powers? Correct, exactly, exactly.
- 15:05Speaker 1: We are a team of vigilantes that are gonna defend uh,
- 15:11Speaker 1: what's going on right now because we have these people
- 15:14Speaker 1: with powers that are supposed to be the good guys,
- 15:17Speaker 1: and we discover that they are also doing some pretty
- 15:20Speaker 1: bad things. Now it says the powerless against the superpowerful.
- 15:24Speaker 1: It's the Boss embark on the heroic quest to expose
- 15:27Speaker 1: the truth about the Seventh and the company they work
- 15:30Speaker 1: for called Vaughte, the multibillion dollar conglomerate that manages these
- 15:35Speaker 1: superheroes and cover of all their dirty secrets. So how
- 15:39Speaker 1: do you get involved? How do they recruit you into this? This?
- 15:43Speaker 1: This I guess a vigilante team. Well, I'm gonna tell you, man. Like,
- 15:48Speaker 1: after I finished my last series for NBC called Mysteries
- 15:52Speaker 1: su Mysteries of Laura, I decided, okay, from from my
- 15:56Speaker 1: next phase in my career, I want to work on
- 16:00Speaker 1: stuff that really really speaks to something that's happening in society,
- 16:04Speaker 1: something that really, you know, addresses something. And so the
- 16:09Speaker 1: first project that I worked on after that series was
- 16:13Speaker 1: a film by the name of Detroit that talked about
- 16:15Speaker 1: the nighteties and the Detroit riot, you know, and that
- 16:18Speaker 1: was that was during the time when Kaepernick was kneeling
- 16:21Speaker 1: and there was a lot of police silence. You know,
- 16:23Speaker 1: on a daily basis, we would get bombarred with somebody
- 16:25Speaker 1: got shot, and I felt like that was the type
- 16:28Speaker 1: of project that I wanted to work on at that time. Um.
- 16:31Speaker 1: After that, I worked on the film with Dion Taylor,
- 16:35Speaker 1: Robert Frederick Smith, the brother that donated you know, all
- 16:39Speaker 1: that money to Moore House the graduates to get him
- 16:42Speaker 1: out of that. Um. He was the executive producer, Rock
- 16:45Speaker 1: Sanda Van executive producer. Then when we called Traffic and
- 16:48Speaker 1: I was reunited with uh Paula Patton, worked with omar
- 16:51Speaker 1: Ax Roslin Sanchez. And then when we talked about that's trafficking,
- 16:55Speaker 1: which we don't talk about it in US. I mean,
- 16:59Speaker 1: Atlanta is the number one city where sex trafficking happens
- 17:03Speaker 1: in the United States of America, the first two. Sacramento
- 17:08Speaker 1: is number two, you know. So this stuff is happening
- 17:11Speaker 1: right under our noses, and it's people of color that
- 17:15Speaker 1: are suffering the most, and nobody's talking about it. Um.
- 17:19Speaker 1: And then this this show came around, and when I
- 17:22Speaker 1: read the log line, I said, this is. This is
- 17:25Speaker 1: in the same light of the type of projects that
- 17:28Speaker 1: I want to be a part of, projects that means something,
- 17:31Speaker 1: not just explosions for the sake of explosions. But you know,
- 17:34Speaker 1: here we're talking about a society where people have unchecked power,
- 17:40Speaker 1: and with unchecked power comes corruption and how does how
- 17:43Speaker 1: do regular people stand up against and resist that corruption?
- 17:48Speaker 1: And I think if you turn on the news every day,
- 17:50Speaker 1: we see examples of that happening every single day. So
- 17:54Speaker 1: I felt like this project was timely. I felt like
- 17:57Speaker 1: it was on point. I felt like it was entertaining
- 17:59Speaker 1: and crazy. And crazy thing is it's based on a
- 18:03Speaker 1: comic book that was written back in the nineties, right right, right,
- 18:06Speaker 1: right right. You know the things that the thing I
- 18:09Speaker 1: love about your about your emotions and your passion. And
- 18:12Speaker 1: this is that the reason the exciting about the series
- 18:14Speaker 1: now because you're telling me that all these series was
- 18:17Speaker 1: the super because these superpowers or X Men is just
- 18:20Speaker 1: about racism. You know, the people who are different, they
- 18:22Speaker 1: get treated different. That's all X Men is about. That's
- 18:24Speaker 1: really all about super That's all this is about people.
- 18:28Speaker 1: People can can can thro shade at you and these
- 18:31Speaker 1: superheroes who are treated differently. That's why that's why the
- 18:34Speaker 1: Avengers became such a because people became afraid of them.
- 18:38Speaker 1: And that's why you know, Tony Stark and Captain America
- 18:41Speaker 1: had issue. They want to control them by signing these
- 18:44Speaker 1: people paper. You can't do anything just because you're different.
- 18:47Speaker 1: And that's all you're saying about this series. This series
- 18:49Speaker 1: just exposes people who are considered special but have the
- 18:53Speaker 1: same issues as people who are not considered special. So
- 18:56Speaker 1: the Visionlante group called the Bars are there to correct
- 18:59Speaker 1: the wrong or a perceived success story that really isn't successful.
- 19:03Speaker 1: That's powerful, man, that's powerful. Oh boy, it's gonna be fun, man.
- 19:11Speaker 1: But at the same time, you know, you're still gonna
- 19:13Speaker 1: get what you want out of the TV and your
- 19:19Speaker 1: blood and your explosions and all that stuff. Supero trama.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Hey man, this is this is awesome. This is awesome. Yeah,
- 19:28Speaker 1: but you know we also covered some real stuff too.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Well that's what I like about it. And now you know,
- 19:32Speaker 1: I was going to wrap up saying this to you, man,
- 19:34Speaker 1: is uh. You know, first of all, thank you for
- 19:36Speaker 1: taking the time to come on the show. And that's
- 19:39Speaker 1: you know, when you mentioned Detroit. If you got Netflix,
- 19:41Speaker 1: Please watch. That's a great show. I've seen it two
- 19:43Speaker 1: times now. So it's a hard to watch show because
- 19:46Speaker 1: there's some serious that that goes wrong with African American
- 19:50Speaker 1: men in a situation that you know, because because some
- 19:53Speaker 1: people are supposed to be there of color, and that's
- 19:55Speaker 1: how they got treated differently that way because of that
- 19:57Speaker 1: as well. But the boys like it's it stars my
- 20:00Speaker 1: man last Alonzo's Uh It's premieres July seven on on
- 20:08Speaker 1: Amazon Prime Network and you scoose me Amazon from Friday
