- 2:04Speaker 2: You are listening to the voice, come on, dig me now,
- 2:07Speaker 2: one and all this Steve Harvey got a radio show,
- 2:10Speaker 2: Man one more time.
- 2:12Speaker 9: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yeah, I do, man,
- 2:15Speaker 9: I thank God for it every day.
- 2:18Speaker 10: You know.
- 2:20Speaker 9: My message this morning, man, is real clear. It's something
- 2:23Speaker 9: that's been on me to share, and it's it's amazing.
- 2:28Speaker 9: You know, God can do some amazing things for you.
- 2:37Speaker 9: But what happens along the way is and I don't
- 2:41Speaker 9: know that I mean to say, but but the fact
- 2:44Speaker 9: that God can do some amazing things for you, that
- 2:48Speaker 9: comes adversity along with it. Every single time, it just
- 2:57Speaker 9: goes without saying. And I've uh I was having a
- 3:01Speaker 9: a faily. I mean, well, not fairly, but a hugely
- 3:06Speaker 9: successful week. I had never seen this type of hatred before.
- 3:12Speaker 9: I hadn't seen it, and it was It's a great
- 3:17Speaker 9: trick that the devil does. You know, when when God
- 3:19Speaker 9: is blessing you and giving you some some some great
- 3:22Speaker 9: opportunities in your life, as all of you have gone through,
- 3:26Speaker 9: and it is. Isn't it amazing how some negative thing
- 3:30Speaker 9: crops up and that's what you have to focus on.
- 3:33Speaker 9: I found out that I don't have to, but you
- 3:36Speaker 9: wind up focusing on it, and your energy goes over
- 3:39Speaker 9: to that to try to deal with it, counteract. Wonder
- 3:43Speaker 9: why it was happening. You got to make phone calls,
- 3:45Speaker 9: what was this about? Blah blah blah blah blah, and
- 3:47Speaker 9: and it and it, and it throws you off the
- 3:50Speaker 9: course you are on the beginning of the week. I
- 3:54Speaker 9: was so grateful. I was so amazed. I was really
- 3:57Speaker 9: thanking God for opportunity. For this brief moment, the enemy
- 4:02Speaker 9: slides this little factor in that it causes you and
- 4:07Speaker 9: it requires your attention. You have to pay it attention
- 4:09Speaker 9: because you don't know what you're going. Wow, man, let
- 4:12Speaker 9: me see what this could really be. How much dirt
- 4:15Speaker 9: is this really that they're trying to do, and so
- 4:18Speaker 9: it requires your attention. But in that attention, you lose
- 4:22Speaker 9: your focus on really all the blessings and the good
- 4:26Speaker 9: thing that God does for you. The enemy has an
- 4:30Speaker 9: amazing trick that he does that. And it was in
- 4:34Speaker 9: my head. I gotta tell y'all all week long, man,
- 4:36Speaker 9: and I was doing some amazing stuff. I was having
- 4:40Speaker 9: such a blessed week, man, in terms of press and
- 4:43Speaker 9: pr and where God was taking me. And then when
- 4:47Speaker 9: I got back, I was talking with my wife, and
- 4:51Speaker 9: then I was talking to a good friend of ours
- 4:54Speaker 9: and they shared something that really helped me out. And
- 5:00Speaker 9: they said to me, new level, new devil. You know
- 5:06Speaker 9: it's it's it's something really simple, but new level new devil.
- 5:10Speaker 9: Every time you go to another level, every time you
- 5:16Speaker 9: go a little bit higher, every time God has a
- 5:20Speaker 9: blessing in store for you, every time He moves you
- 5:23Speaker 9: in position. Do you understand that the enemy's job is
- 5:28Speaker 9: to make you not see the blessing, make you not
- 5:31Speaker 9: be grateful for it, lose your focus and focus on
- 5:35Speaker 9: this that I just threw in your way, this stumbling block,
- 5:38Speaker 9: this obstacle, this trickery, And.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Man, I was, I was, I got it.
- 5:43Speaker 9: I just got to tell you, man, I mean, it
- 5:45Speaker 9: was so filled with hatred that I had to I
- 5:48Speaker 9: really spend some time addressing it, and I got publicists
- 5:51Speaker 9: on the phone.
- 5:52Speaker 2: I said, what's what's happening here? Y'all? Not watching this?
- 5:54Speaker 2: Y'all not?
- 5:55Speaker 11: What was?
- 5:56Speaker 2: What was this attack? You knew?
- 5:57Speaker 10: Do?
- 5:57Speaker 2: You didn't know these angles? What was?
- 5:59Speaker 9: And you know, Steve Chill, new level, new devil. If
- 6:06Speaker 9: you get a promotion on your job, guess what. Somebody
- 6:10Speaker 9: ain't happy that you got the promotion. So here come
- 6:13Speaker 9: the hay. You don't even really know these people. You
- 6:16Speaker 9: have no idea.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Every time you make a decision to make your relationship
- 6:22Speaker 2: with your spouse better, man, this is it. You know
- 6:26Speaker 2: what I'm gonna start doing.
- 6:26Speaker 9: I'm gonna do this, man, So me and my girl
- 6:29Speaker 9: can go on and have this, or me and my
- 6:30Speaker 9: man can go on and have this. Watch what happened
- 6:33Speaker 9: every single time? Here comes the new level, the new devil,
- 6:39Speaker 9: the trick. You don't need to do that. What you're
- 6:41Speaker 9: doing that for her? She don't appreciate it. He ain't
- 6:43Speaker 9: gonna appreciate it. Look over here, man, look at that
- 6:46Speaker 9: right there.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Ain't he no?
- 6:48Speaker 9: You know he missed he ain't call you, and he
- 6:50Speaker 9: said it was gonna all types of stuff. It just
- 6:52Speaker 9: happens all the time. And I was sitting here talking
- 6:55Speaker 9: with this friend, really good friend, very spiritual person, and
- 6:59Speaker 9: they said something, Steve. You know, I was talking to
- 7:02Speaker 9: Jesus and said I was having this conversation with Christ.
- 7:06Speaker 9: And I said, God, for real, you mean to tell
- 7:10Speaker 9: me every time that something good happens to me? You
- 7:15Speaker 9: mean every time I try to go to the next level,
- 7:18Speaker 9: every time you put me on the next level. You
- 7:20Speaker 9: mean to tell me that I got to go through
- 7:22Speaker 9: this right here? Are you for real? And then my
- 7:27Speaker 9: friend said, Jesus said to her, they did it to me,
- 7:33Speaker 9: and we just fell out laughing. They did it to me.
- 7:37Speaker 9: They did it to him. They did it to him
- 7:40Speaker 9: for him to go to the next level. And you know,
- 7:43Speaker 9: I was just I was just going over the whole
- 7:46Speaker 9: story about the crucifixion and everything that had to be
- 7:49Speaker 9: amazing man of all the hate he had, ended, all
- 7:52Speaker 9: the prosecuting he had do it. They thought, ultimately, what
- 7:56Speaker 9: we'll do is we'll nail him on a cross in
- 7:59Speaker 9: cruise and that'll be the end of him. And we'll
- 8:02Speaker 9: put him in this tune, and we'll put this big
- 8:04Speaker 9: stone up there and that'll be the end of him.
- 8:07Speaker 9: But what they did not know was all you was
- 8:10Speaker 9: doing was setting the tone for the next level, because
- 8:13Speaker 9: eventually the stone got rolled away and he went and
- 8:16Speaker 9: got placed with his father where he was headed to. Anyway,
- 8:21Speaker 9: he ultimately knew that his ultimate goal was to get
- 8:25Speaker 9: to his father. So when you when you when you
- 8:30Speaker 9: thought you were doing what you were doing to him,
- 8:34Speaker 9: and you put him in the tune and you put
- 8:35Speaker 9: the big stone up in there, and the stone got rolls,
- 8:39Speaker 9: got rolled away, and he went eventually to where he
- 8:41Speaker 9: was trying to get to. That story is in place
- 8:47Speaker 9: for all of us to remember that when we are
- 8:51Speaker 9: going through some things, could it be because we're going
- 8:55Speaker 9: to a place, you know, It could be just a
- 8:57Speaker 9: place in life. It could be just as a different
- 9:01Speaker 9: level in life. That's all it has to be. But
- 9:03Speaker 9: there's going to be the adversarial challenges that come with it,
- 9:09Speaker 9: and those are the moments we must expect, expect and
- 9:13Speaker 9: take them head on and still not lose your focus
- 9:16Speaker 9: or appreciation for what God has done for you. So
- 9:19Speaker 9: in light of all of that, I'm able to say
- 9:21Speaker 9: today that I thank my heavenly Father, I really do
- 9:25Speaker 9: for all the blessing seeds to bestowed upon me and
- 9:28Speaker 9: all of the haters and all of the liars, and
- 9:32Speaker 9: all of the backstabers and all those people. When you
- 9:35Speaker 9: get through lyon, when you get through stabbing, when you
- 9:40Speaker 9: get through gossiping and doing what you do, I'm still
- 9:45Speaker 9: going to the next level. I'm still going. You cannot
- 9:51Speaker 9: stop what God has in store for you.
- 9:55Speaker 2: No one can stop.
- 9:56Speaker 4: That morning show.

- 11:13Speaker 9: we appreciate the haters too. You gotta have haters. Haters
- 11:17Speaker 9: make you greater. Haters let you know you're doing something.
- 11:19Speaker 9: If you ain't got no haters, it's because you ain't
- 11:21Speaker 9: doing nothing. So appreciate your haters. Keep on hating, and
- 11:24Speaker 9: we're gonna keep on shining, and we're gonna stay covered
- 11:27Speaker 9: by God. Ain't God good? This is a great day today, man.

- 13:08Speaker 9: Sonic Boom was they had to face they fans, which
- 13:11Speaker 9: was like thirteen people, and then playing to them. And
- 13:15Speaker 9: then when FAM came on, they turned around and let

- 13:55Speaker 2: What can we borrow your cask? Let's go care.
- 13:58Speaker 8: Hello, I'm trying to re Vicky.
- 14:02Speaker 10: Hey, Vicky, how you doing? Are you the are you
- 14:05Speaker 10: the niece of of of Uh? Uh? I think it's
- 14:12Speaker 10: your aunt?
- 14:13Speaker 13: Yes?
- 14:14Speaker 10: Okay, and you know now your aunt passed away? How
- 14:17Speaker 10: many how many years ago? Your aunt passed?
- 14:19Speaker 8: It was about five years ago?
- 14:21Speaker 10: Okay, listen, I'm over here at the funeral home. Uh my,
- 14:25Speaker 10: my my sister just passed away, and they gave me
- 14:29Speaker 10: your phone number. Did you guys? We're going through a
- 14:32Speaker 10: little bit of a situation here, did you guys? Your
- 14:35Speaker 10: aunt was a heavyset woman. Is that right?
- 14:37Speaker 14: Yes?
- 14:37Speaker 13: You was?
- 14:38Speaker 10: Okay, Now they had to did they have to put
- 14:40Speaker 10: her in a in a Did they have a build
- 14:43Speaker 10: a special casket for her?
- 14:45Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 14:46Speaker 10: Okay, that's what we're kind of going through with my sister.
- 14:49Speaker 10: We ordered a special casket for for for my sister,
- 14:54Speaker 10: and uh, I'm assuming this is the same thing that
- 14:57Speaker 10: you guys went through. I called several of her, but
- 15:00Speaker 10: I wasn't able to get in touch with anybody, but
- 15:02Speaker 10: that the funeral home actually had your name on file
- 15:05Speaker 10: as well, so they gave me your number where I
- 15:07Speaker 10: will be able to talk to you. Is that is that? Okay?
- 15:10Speaker 8: Yeah, that's okay, you can speak to me. But you
- 15:13Speaker 8: know what seems to be a problem.
- 15:15Speaker 10: Well, listen, the funeral is actually in two days, okay,
- 15:20Speaker 10: and we ordered one of those special caskets, but it
- 15:24Speaker 10: doesn't look like it's going to be in for another week.
- 15:27Speaker 10: So you know, it's almost like we're gonna we're gonna
- 15:30Speaker 10: we're not gonna have a casket for her, you know,
- 15:33Speaker 10: for the funeral. And you know, like I said, the
- 15:36Speaker 10: funeral home told us about you know that you guys
- 15:38Speaker 10: were the last ones that ordered a casket of that size.
- 15:42Speaker 10: And do you think it's any way possible we can
- 15:46Speaker 10: borrow the casket that your aim is in and then
- 15:51Speaker 10: when the casket comes in that we ordered, we can
- 15:54Speaker 10: put her in that casket and put her back down
- 15:58Speaker 10: to rest like she's always been. Do you think that's.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Me?
- 16:03Speaker 10: Hello?
- 16:04Speaker 14: Hello?
- 16:05Speaker 8: If you think that, you repeat yourself, what exactly are
- 16:08Speaker 8: you asking.
- 16:09Speaker 10: Me, Well, what I'm saying is do you think we
- 16:11Speaker 10: can bar your aim casket because you know, the funerals
- 16:15Speaker 10: in two days and the casket is not going to
- 16:18Speaker 10: be in in order for us to be to bury
- 16:20Speaker 10: her in a in a casket for you know, to
- 16:23Speaker 10: accommodate her size. That's what I'm asking.
- 16:26Speaker 8: What kind of is this you're talking about? First of all,
- 16:29Speaker 8: who is this?
- 16:30Speaker 10: Like I said, my name is Larry. Like I said,
- 16:32Speaker 10: I tried to call some of her kids, but nobody
- 16:35Speaker 10: ever picked up. When I called, he had her niece's
- 16:40Speaker 10: number on file. To you, you are her niece, Vicky, right, yes,
- 16:43Speaker 10: I am. Okay, Well that's what I'm saying. Do you
- 16:47Speaker 10: think that maybe you can talk to the children and
- 16:49Speaker 10: see if we can maybe used that particular casket?
- 16:53Speaker 8: Oh okay, wait a minute, what the talking about this?
- 16:57Speaker 8: First of all, who is this? You gotta be losing
- 16:59Speaker 8: your mind if you think I'm gonna let you dig
- 17:02Speaker 8: up my ani for just to bury your numbers.
- 17:05Speaker 10: But I understand where you're coming from. But what I'm
- 17:07Speaker 10: trying to say is that we don't have a casket
- 17:10Speaker 10: big enough and they would they let us know that.
- 17:12Speaker 10: You guys were the last ones that had a casket
- 17:15Speaker 10: that you.
- 17:15Speaker 8: Know you gotta do with us? That's your truff it out?
- 17:20Speaker 10: Have you lost your No?
- 17:22Speaker 8: No?
- 17:22Speaker 10: Well okay, first of all, what I'm trying to do
- 17:25Speaker 10: is this. The family been grieving pretty hard, and I
- 17:27Speaker 10: just wanted to make sure that the funeral will be right.
- 17:30Speaker 8: We don't bring my family gonna feel digging my any
- 17:34Speaker 8: of you lost your They don't call.
- 17:36Speaker 13: Me with this.
- 17:37Speaker 8: Who is the funeral home that gave you my number
- 17:42Speaker 8: to ask me to use the casket so you can
- 17:44Speaker 8: bury your sister?
- 17:46Speaker 10: I can't remember, but it was. It was a guy,
- 17:48Speaker 10: the funeral director let me know that you guys had
- 17:51Speaker 10: went through a situation where you had to bury your
- 17:53Speaker 10: your your aunt.
- 17:55Speaker 8: Like I said, I what's your name again?
- 17:58Speaker 10: My name is Larry?
- 18:00Speaker 13: Say lord?
- 18:00Speaker 8: This is this is because I don't know what if
- 18:03Speaker 8: you my phone number to call me asking you just don't.
- 18:06Speaker 8: Can you believe us? They call here asking me so
- 18:09Speaker 8: can they dig up and taken Barry? The sister's a
- 18:13Speaker 8: fox sister, don't have a castle.
- 18:16Speaker 10: No, what's your fault? No, I understand it's not your fault.
- 18:21Speaker 10: What I'm trying to say is will y'all show some
- 18:23Speaker 10: sympathy and some love for what you are family going
- 18:26Speaker 10: through because we don't have a cask like I say,
- 18:29Speaker 10: my sister, my sister was was you know, whether if
- 18:31Speaker 10: the heavens was a hemisht walk.
- 18:33Speaker 8: Oh you're good, you know, my condoss go out to
- 18:36Speaker 8: you and your family. You know, I'm trying to be
- 18:38Speaker 8: as reserved as I can with this whole situation. But
- 18:42Speaker 8: do you understand what kind of stupid you're asking me
- 18:45Speaker 8: right now to actually dig up my aunt who was armed,
- 18:48Speaker 8: who's been abound for five years because bury your sister.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Like this.
- 18:56Speaker 10: If we you, you ain't ain't gonna know, she ain't
- 18:59Speaker 10: gonna know you.
- 19:02Speaker 8: For you to say to me what.
- 19:07Speaker 13: You talking smoking?
- 19:08Speaker 10: Crack?
- 19:09Speaker 13: What don't know?
- 19:12Speaker 10: First of all, you know what I First of all,
- 19:14Speaker 10: I appreciate you trying to work with me, but I
- 19:16Speaker 10: want to say it is you. You don't even have
- 19:18Speaker 10: the authority to make that diseason if you give me
- 19:21Speaker 10: one of the numbers to one of your cousins.
- 19:25Speaker 8: I was really trying to be nice and be calm.
- 19:27Speaker 8: But guess what we're not doing this stupid. I'm trying
- 19:31Speaker 8: to be nice to you and tell and trying to

- 30:36Speaker 9: damn mad when I found out he was blind.
- 30:41Speaker 2: I just thought he was wearing the radioactive ass glasses,
- 30:44Speaker 2: you know, to keep that radiation out of radio from

- 34:01Speaker 1: And also I love this story too.
- 34:03Speaker 11: A concert attendee at the Drakes It's All a Blur
- 34:06Speaker 11: tour in Vegas held up a sign reading I spent
- 34:09Speaker 11: my furniture money on tickets to your two shows. The
- 34:13Speaker 11: sign got Drake's attention, and Drake told the guy, my
- 34:16Speaker 11: manager is my DJ. You know what, man, your furniture money.
- 34:21Speaker 11: I'm going to give you fifty bands. That's come on,
- 34:24Speaker 11: fifty thousand dollars. He then turned to his DJ and said,
- 34:27Speaker 11: make sure he gets the money tonight.
- 34:30Speaker 2: I love it. Well, I need furniture money, he had me.
- 34:39Speaker 10: I love that.
- 34:41Speaker 11: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, we're going
- 34:44Speaker 11: to talk about Steve prime time and then your advice
- 34:47Speaker 11: on dealing with haters.
- 34:49Speaker 1: Okay, we talk about that right after you're listening Hard
- 34:54Speaker 1: morning show.
- 34:56Speaker 11: So later on next hour, I'm sure Junior is going
- 34:58Speaker 11: to talk about the stats and highlights of the big
- 35:01Speaker 11: Colorado win against TCU with primetime. Dion Sanders, making his debut,
- 35:07Speaker 11: is Colorado's head coach. So did you guys see the game?
- 35:10Speaker 11: You see it when you feel a lot of booze
- 35:15Speaker 11: from the crowd, huh yeah.
- 35:17Speaker 2: Well he at TCU stadium, Yeah yeah.
- 35:20Speaker 11: And then Steve, Just like Dion, there were plenty of
- 35:23Speaker 11: listeners out there dealing with haters too in their lives
- 35:25Speaker 11: at the job at work at school, et cetera, et cetera.
- 35:29Speaker 1: So what advice do you have for people dealing with haters.
- 35:33Speaker 9: Well, it's a couple of things, you know. And I
- 35:36Speaker 9: live through it all the time and I exist in it,
- 35:39Speaker 9: so I mean, I'm dealing with it right now. But
- 35:44Speaker 9: it's very simple. My wife and I were talking about it,
- 35:47Speaker 9: and we've gotten so many calls from people that love us,
- 35:50Speaker 9: you know. And one thing about haters is really listen
- 35:54Speaker 9: to me. For those who love you, no explanation necessary.
- 35:58Speaker 9: For those that hate you, no explanation acceptable. So it's
- 36:02Speaker 9: nothing you can say to the bottom feeders out there
- 36:05Speaker 9: except to let them go. But you have to understand
- 36:08Speaker 9: what's going on. They only come for you when you're
- 36:10Speaker 9: doing something.
- 36:11Speaker 2: If you ain't doing nothing, the haters that have nothing,
- 36:13Speaker 2: You can't be clickbait if you ain't clickable. And here's
- 36:17Speaker 2: the other thing I learned. The devil don't come for
- 36:20Speaker 2: you if he already got you. He don't come for you.
- 36:25Speaker 2: He's singing you. And it's a lot of imps out
- 36:28Speaker 2: there that it's just busy man trying to profit on
- 36:33Speaker 2: the demise of another person.
- 36:36Speaker 9: That's not a good business to be in. Young people.
- 36:39Speaker 9: That's just not a smart way to try to go
- 36:42Speaker 9: about your success. Your success cannot be at the demise
- 36:46Speaker 9: of somebody else. That's not a good way to go
- 36:49Speaker 9: about it. And the devil will allow you to have
- 36:52Speaker 9: some measure of success. But you only get hated on
- 36:56Speaker 9: by people who are less than you. Nobody doing better
- 37:00Speaker 9: and you hates on you. It's always say, nobody doing
- 37:04Speaker 9: better than you hates on you. Your haters are not
- 37:07Speaker 9: people that's doing better than you. That it's always the
- 37:11Speaker 9: lesser than it's all. They always hate, always come from
- 37:16Speaker 9: the bottom. That's why they call them bottom feeders. Now,
- 37:20Speaker 9: what you can't do is like God has positioned you
- 37:25Speaker 9: as well as myself up on the wall.
- 37:27Speaker 2: We're climbing to a destiny that's so great.
- 37:32Speaker 9: When they start throwing rocks and they pulled from the bottom,
- 37:35Speaker 9: you cannot get down off the wall. You cannot stop
- 37:39Speaker 9: your forward progress to climb down and address them because
- 37:42Speaker 9: you stopping your progress.
- 37:44Speaker 2: And they don't have power unless you give it to them.
- 37:47Speaker 1: And then prime time win that game.
- 37:50Speaker 4: Okay, I told them all of me.
- 37:54Speaker 2: He was twenty point underdog.
- 37:57Speaker 9: Coach had WALLGA don't understand thousand dollars on that game.
- 38:03Speaker 2: I love it.
- 38:04Speaker 13: Who?
- 38:04Speaker 10: All right?
- 38:05Speaker 11: I love coming up in thirty four minutes after the hour,
- 38:08Speaker 11: we're gonna play a game called who on the show?
- 38:11Speaker 11: Right after this you're listening hard morning show? All right,
- 38:16Speaker 11: this is a game called who on the show. I'm
- 38:19Speaker 11: just gonna ask you, guys some questions, and your answer
- 38:22Speaker 11: is someone on this morning show?
- 38:24Speaker 1: You ready?
- 38:25Speaker 2: All right? All right?
- 38:26Speaker 1: The game is called who on the show? Okay? Who
- 38:29Speaker 1: on the show? Would you co sign alone for?
- 38:34Speaker 2: Steve? Yeah?
- 38:36Speaker 3: He needs.
- 38:38Speaker 2: I'm just want his credit? Yeah, I don't know did
- 38:43Speaker 2: he even know his credits?
- 38:44Speaker 7: Call?

- 53:02Speaker 11: and my boyfriend is a sixty three year old, handsome gentleman.
- 53:06Speaker 11: He was married for thirty two years, and I got
- 53:08Speaker 11: him right after the divorce, so I understood when he
- 53:12Speaker 11: called me his ex wife's name. When we first met,
- 53:15Speaker 11: I wanted him to go out and date other women,
- 53:18Speaker 11: but he locked in on me right away. He thought
- 53:21Speaker 11: I wasn't interested in him when I tried to get
- 53:23Speaker 11: him to date a little bit before jumping into another relationship.
- 53:26Speaker 11: When he felt like I was trying to get rid
- 53:28Speaker 11: of him, he went overboard to show me that I
- 53:31Speaker 11: was the one. I started getting expensive gifts, and he
- 53:34Speaker 11: took me on a trip that I'd always dreamed about.
- 53:38Speaker 11: He had an outdoor kitchen put on my deck, and
- 53:41Speaker 11: he landscaped my yard. Some things he did were a
- 53:45Speaker 11: bit much, though, like replacing my mattress because other men
- 53:48Speaker 11: had been in my bed, and he started playing tennis
- 53:52Speaker 11: with me, and that's the one thing I could enjoy
- 53:54Speaker 11: by myself. He had a coach and he was taking
- 53:57Speaker 11: lessons until recently and he pulled a hamstring. The doctor
- 54:02Speaker 11: said it was pretty bad and he had to stop
- 54:04Speaker 11: playing and we had to hold off on sex. It's
- 54:07Speaker 11: been almost two weeks since we've had sex, and he's
- 54:10Speaker 11: losing his mind. Every day he asks if I'm all
- 54:14Speaker 11: right and if I need him to do other things
- 54:16Speaker 11: to please me. I keep assuring him that I'm fine,
- 54:19Speaker 11: but he's so worried. I don't want this old man
- 54:22Speaker 11: to feel that kind of pressure. He's laid up now
- 54:25Speaker 11: and limping around, so he's no good to me like that.
- 54:28Speaker 11: It makes me think either he cheated or his ex
- 54:31Speaker 11: wife cheated on him because he's so paranoid. How do
- 54:34Speaker 11: I get him to relax and let me get to
- 54:38Speaker 11: know the real him?
- 54:40Speaker 1: Please help?
- 54:42Speaker 11: Okay, Now it's a great time to talk to him
- 54:44Speaker 11: because he can't get around as well. You know, you
- 54:47Speaker 11: said he's limping around and he's laid up, So now's
- 54:49Speaker 11: a great time to talk to him, you know, due
- 54:52Speaker 11: to the hamstring thing. You gotta let him know that
- 54:54Speaker 11: he's making it worse when he's tripping like this. He
- 54:58Speaker 11: is twenty plus years older than you, and at sixty three,
- 55:01Speaker 11: he should know he can't always keep up with everything
- 55:04Speaker 11: you're doing. And that's okay, that is perfectly fine. You
- 55:07Speaker 11: obviously like and appreciate him. But he doesn't get that,
- 55:11Speaker 11: and he's trying too hard. It looks like maybe you
- 55:14Speaker 11: guys could make it. I mean, you guys have a
- 55:16Speaker 11: chance to make it. He seems like a great guy,
- 55:18Speaker 11: just a bit paranoid and possessive and all that. He
- 55:21Speaker 11: just needs to calm down and be himself because that's
- 55:24Speaker 11: what you want. He can't keep up with you all
- 55:27Speaker 11: the time. So what he cannot do, though, is start
- 55:31Speaker 11: this insecure thing, this possessiveness. He is worried, and we
- 55:36Speaker 11: all know is because he's older. You're twenty years younger.
- 55:39Speaker 11: He's afraid, you know, some young guy is going to
- 55:41Speaker 11: come and scoop you up. There's no room for his paranoia,
- 55:46Speaker 11: but he is scared. I mean, he doesn't want this
- 55:48Speaker 11: younger man to come in the picture. Let him know,
- 55:51Speaker 11: and know uncertain terms that that's not going to happen.
- 55:53Speaker 11: But make sure he's sitting down and resting and all
- 55:56Speaker 11: of that. When you do that and he is now,
- 55:58Speaker 11: So going in there and talk to him and let it.
- 56:00Speaker 5: Steve, what.
- 56:05Speaker 2: This letter right here?
- 56:07Speaker 9: But what letter did I read? I guess she's I
- 56:13Speaker 9: already know there is something wrong with me. I already
- 56:16Speaker 9: know that. So I apologize already. You know he's sixty three,
- 56:21Speaker 9: I'm sixty six. I already know what the deal is
- 56:23Speaker 9: all this. Yes, let me tell you what's really happened.
- 56:27Speaker 9: You're forty one years old. Your boyfriend sixty three? He
- 56:30Speaker 9: uh he he twenty two years younger than you. H oh,
- 56:38Speaker 9: So you understood if he called you your ex wife's name.
- 56:42Speaker 9: When y'all first met all this here, you wanted to
- 56:46Speaker 9: go date other women, but he locked in on you
- 56:48Speaker 9: right away.
- 56:49Speaker 2: He know what he wanted. I thought I wasn't interested in.
- 56:51Speaker 9: He thought I wasn't interested in because I told him
- 56:53Speaker 9: to date for a little bit before jumping into another relationship.
- 56:56Speaker 9: He felt like I was trying to get rid of him.
- 56:58Speaker 9: You know, he went over, boy, just show me here
- 57:00Speaker 9: we go now, just the letter with the old boy,
- 57:03Speaker 9: to show.
- 57:03Speaker 2: Me that I was the one.
- 57:05Speaker 9: I started getting extensive gifts, and he took me on
- 57:10Speaker 9: a trip that I've always dreamed about.
- 57:14Speaker 2: Then he had an outdoor kitchen put on my deck,
- 57:19Speaker 2: and he landscaped my yard. What the hell is wrong
- 57:26Speaker 2: with you, girl? If you don't go somewhere and sit
- 57:30Speaker 2: your ass down and enjoy your life.
- 57:35Speaker 9: What trips, expensive, guilt outdop kitchen in your backyard and landscaping?
- 57:45Speaker 9: Most women can't get nobody to do that. Far, he
- 57:51Speaker 9: all in and obviously doing well. So far, I don't
- 57:55Speaker 9: see the problem.
- 57:57Speaker 2: Some things he did was a bit too much, like
- 58:00Speaker 2: replacing my mattress because.
- 58:02Speaker 9: Other men had been in my bean. Okay, you don't
- 58:09Speaker 9: see the new mattress, blessing. You don't see that brand
- 58:14Speaker 9: new mattress.
- 58:15Speaker 10: You don't.
- 58:17Speaker 2: You know, you don't see that. He started. Now here's
- 58:21Speaker 2: where we got the problem.
- 58:22Speaker 9: He started playing tennis with me, and that's the one
- 58:25Speaker 9: thing I can enjoy it by myself. You need some
- 58:28Speaker 9: meet He had a coach and he was taking lessons
- 58:32Speaker 9: until recently he pulled a ham. Now let me tell
- 58:35Speaker 9: you about this lesson. He trying to spend as much
- 58:37Speaker 9: time with you as he can. But I got news
- 58:40Speaker 9: for you.
- 58:40Speaker 2: Twenty two young twenty two years younger.
- 58:42Speaker 9: And then you woman is ass on that tennis hevene
- 58:45Speaker 9: had to go get a coach and everything. He's just
- 58:47Speaker 9: taking it. He's just taking an ass woman on that
- 58:49Speaker 9: tennis court. You running his old ass raggedly.
- 58:52Speaker 2: Tennis ain't the sport you want to start picking up
- 58:55Speaker 2: at sixty three. Should have took it.
- 58:58Speaker 9: The old ass out there trying to be with you.
- 59:00Speaker 9: Now you're just beating his ass all over the court.
- 59:02Speaker 9: Now he done wind and got a coach and everything.
- 59:04Speaker 9: Too old to be out here. Now he'd ane pulling
- 59:07Speaker 9: damn hamstring.
- 59:08Speaker 11: Hang on, we'll have a part two of Steve's responds
- 59:11Speaker 11: coming up in twenty three minutes after the hour of
- 59:14Speaker 11: today's Strawberry Letter. Subject is so wild, he pulled a hamstring.
- 59:17Speaker 11: We'll get back into it right after this.
- 59:20Speaker 4: You're listening hard morning show.
- 59:23Speaker 11: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 59:26Speaker 11: The subject is so wild he pulled a hamstring.
- 59:30Speaker 9: Well, this lady dating the man is twenty two years
- 59:32Speaker 9: older than her. She forty one, he's sixty three. He
- 59:37Speaker 9: had over heels for her. She had geez, recently divorced.
- 59:42Speaker 9: She wanted him to spend time dating other people and
- 59:46Speaker 9: not jump into a relationship. He latched onto her right away.
- 59:50Speaker 9: He thought she was trying to get rid of him
- 59:52Speaker 9: by telling the date of other people, so he started
- 59:54Speaker 9: pulling it on heavy expensit gifts, whole out do kitchen,
- 59:59Speaker 9: then landscape. The y'all brought you a new mattress because
- 1:00:02Speaker 9: he didn't like other men had been in your bed,
- 1:00:04Speaker 9: brought your new masters.
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: What is you mad? And how is that?
- 1:00:07Speaker 9: The one you thought was too much? Hell a man
- 1:00:10Speaker 9: by you? An outdoor kitchen, landscape, yo yard by you.
- 1:00:12Speaker 9: Explicit gift and the.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: One thing you want to bring up this cause some
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: things he did was a little bit too much, like
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: replacing my mattress because other men had been in my bed.
- 1:00:22Speaker 9: You didn't see the gift of just a new mattress. Okay, cool.
- 1:00:28Speaker 9: Then he started playing at tennis, I did. This is
- 1:00:33Speaker 9: where you could at least get away from his.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: Old, needy ass.
- 1:00:37Speaker 9: And now here he come out here playing tennis, sixty
- 1:00:41Speaker 9: three years old, you twenty two years younger. You running
- 1:00:44Speaker 9: his ass, raggety. He hitting the ball all out the gate.
- 1:00:48Speaker 9: Y'all gotta have thirty tennis balls with y'all because he
- 1:00:52Speaker 9: finish knocked eighty eighteen of them over the damn fence.
- 1:00:55Speaker 9: It's just horrible. He done went and got a coach
- 1:00:57Speaker 9: and everything. He out there doing stuff to his body.
- 1:01:00Speaker 9: He ain't done in years trying to hang with this
- 1:01:03Speaker 9: young ass girl. Now he done pulled a hamstringer. See
- 1:01:08Speaker 9: is how I know he old. The doctor said it
- 1:01:11Speaker 9: was pretty bad and he had to stop playing and
- 1:01:16Speaker 9: we had to hold off on sex. It's been almost
- 1:01:19Speaker 9: two weeks since we had sex.
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: And he loses his mind. See right there. This is
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: how you know your own.
- 1:01:25Speaker 9: When a ham string, now I got you can't play tennis,
- 1:01:31Speaker 9: But when a hamstring stop you from having sex?
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: You old, you, old caau. What do the ham string
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: have to do with.
- 1:01:42Speaker 9: You having six? You don't even need that other leg.
- 1:01:47Speaker 9: You can hang it off on the edge of the bed.
- 1:01:50Speaker 9: You can have sex with one bad leg. It's people
- 1:01:54Speaker 9: with one leg having sick. He got a hamstring and
- 1:01:57Speaker 9: he can't That's how you know he owes. What do
- 1:02:00Speaker 9: that damn ham string have to do with you having sex?
- 1:02:06Speaker 9: What do you need that other leg off? If it's
- 1:02:11Speaker 9: the left leg, lay it out the bed and put
- 1:02:15Speaker 9: your right leg up on the bed.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: If it's your.
- 1:02:19Speaker 9: Right leg, lay it off the side of the bed
- 1:02:22Speaker 9: and put your left leg up on that whatever leg,
- 1:02:25Speaker 9: whatever side the hamstring pull is on, you get her
- 1:02:29Speaker 9: ankle in that same side.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: See, if it's your left hand string, you gotta get
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: her right ankle in your hand, extend it out, and
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: it negates the need for the ham string, because now
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: her right hand string is out of action and your
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: left ham string is out of action.
- 1:02:53Speaker 9: Now we both dealing with the same problem. What are
- 1:02:56Speaker 9: our hamstrings? Ain't involved in this? For what they got
- 1:02:59Speaker 9: to do with it?
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: And he don't know that class.
- 1:03:03Speaker 9: See, he don't even know what he doing. That's because
- 1:03:05Speaker 9: he owes me. Now he wearing because you because he
- 1:03:08Speaker 9: Now I want to know if you are right? And
- 1:03:10Speaker 9: do you need him to do other things.
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: To please me?
- 1:03:13Speaker 9: What you're asking that question for? It's been two weeks.
- 1:03:16Speaker 9: Why don't you just do something else? What are you
- 1:03:18Speaker 9: asking her?
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: Cars? Get to work? You know what you got to do.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: I ain't gonna have to say it, Emma, but you
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: know what you need to do. Now. You got to
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: make something happen. I don't know what's wrong with him anyway.
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: What the hell of hamstra ain't got to do what
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: happens anyway.
- 1:03:38Speaker 9: I don't want this old man to feel that kind
- 1:03:40Speaker 9: of pressure. He's laid up now, limping around. See right now,
- 1:03:43Speaker 9: this relationship ain't gonna work, she said, because I don't
- 1:03:46Speaker 9: want this old man to feel that kind of pressure.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: He's laid up now and limping around, so he's no
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: good to me like that. See, this relationship ain't gonna work.
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: He's an old man. He walking around limping, He's no
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: good to me like that. These are all temporary statement relationship.
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: This ain't nobody locked in for the ride. This ride
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: is over with him. You've got your out door kitchen,
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: You've got a few expensive gifts, you got your yard
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: lads cakes. Now he walking around limping.
- 1:04:19Speaker 9: He ain't no good to All it take is one
- 1:04:22Speaker 9: hamstring injury, and now all of a sudden, this relationship
- 1:04:25Speaker 9: is down there.
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: He ain't no good to me, girl, This ain't going nowhere.
- 1:04:29Speaker 9: He's laid up now and all this it makes me
- 1:04:31Speaker 9: think either he cheated or his ex wife cheated on him.
- 1:04:35Speaker 9: Because he's so paranoid. How do I get him to
- 1:04:38Speaker 9: relax and let me know the real him?
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: Please?
- 1:04:42Speaker 9: Help the real him is he? He this dude right here,

- 1:06:25Speaker 9: Well they even leek Corso the old dudes on college
- 1:06:30Speaker 9: game day was saying that he does not like the
- 1:06:33Speaker 9: way Dion went about shaping the program, getting rid of
- 1:06:37Speaker 9: all those players, bringing in all those new players. Dion
- 1:06:41Speaker 9: looked at the field, bought the players in. He cut
- 1:06:44Speaker 9: twenty football players. The rest of them quit. See that's
- 1:06:48Speaker 9: what people don't know.
- 1:06:50Speaker 13: Cut.
- 1:06:50Speaker 9: He cut twenty football players from Colorado. The rest of
- 1:06:54Speaker 9: them quit. They saw the writing on the wall. They

- 1:07:24Speaker 2: I'm gonna win that. Yeah. Yeah, And that's exactly what
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: he went out there and did.
- 1:07:29Speaker 12: Man, I don't I don't see the wrong because the
- 1:07:31Speaker 12: press conference was everything for me. That's all it was.
- 1:07:35Speaker 12: It's just them talking trash. He just talked cash money too.
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: And Butjunia like how he don't cuss though? Now, I
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: mean this bull crap you wrote this. I sift through it.
- 1:07:45Speaker 5: I sifted through it. That's all it is.
- 1:07:53Speaker 10: Man.
- 1:07:53Speaker 12: And you know what it does it have anything to
- 1:07:55Speaker 12: this because he's a black head coach at a major
- 1:07:57Speaker 12: UH program up is that what they problem is that
- 1:08:00Speaker 12: they have a problem him, how he's running his program,
- 1:08:02Speaker 12: the flair that he puts on it.
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: Listen to me, man, it does not matter. You have
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: to factor in race in everything you do.
- 1:08:12Speaker 9: If you are a black man in this world, if
- 1:08:16Speaker 9: you're a black woman in this world. Black people have
- 1:08:19Speaker 9: to factory in race in all their decisions. Where we're
- 1:08:23Speaker 9: gonna move, where our kids gonna go to school, you
- 1:08:27Speaker 9: know all this. You can't just move go where. You

- 1:09:00Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 1:09:03Speaker 4: Morning show?
- 1:09:05Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:09:06Speaker 15: So Steve, this is from Zoe on Steve Harvey FM.
- 1:09:11Speaker 15: Zoe writes, Man, this is crazy.
- 1:09:13Speaker 11: Yesterday I was at my parents' place and my mom
- 1:09:16Speaker 11: asked me to eat mail a file that was on
- 1:09:18Speaker 11: her laptop.
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: I opened the wrong file and there she was, in
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: all her naked glory.
- 1:09:24Speaker 11: Once my eyes stopped burning, I realized that these pictures
- 1:09:28Speaker 11: weren't for my pops, and my mom had been sending
- 1:09:31Speaker 11: them to another man. I didn't tell my mother that
- 1:09:34Speaker 11: I saw them and never want to see them. Again
- 1:09:37Speaker 11: or even acknowledge their existence. But now I'm torn if
- 1:09:40Speaker 11: I say anything to my dad about it, because I
- 1:09:42Speaker 11: can't even think about how much it would.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: Break my pop's heart if he ever found out.
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: What should I do?
- 1:09:50Speaker 13: Yeah?
- 1:09:51Speaker 9: Mind, you biz just ain't your world. It's ready to
- 1:09:55Speaker 9: break your pop's heart. You don't know what your popped
- 1:09:57Speaker 9: had done and your mom over the years. You don't, No,
- 1:10:00Speaker 9: you don't know. You have no idea, mind your business,
- 1:10:05Speaker 9: mind you forget you saw it now. I know it's
- 1:10:07Speaker 9: gonna be hard. You need therapy.
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: Her eyes are burning.
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:10:13Speaker 9: I can't even imagine. I can't even not my lord,
- 1:10:18Speaker 9: I would want to get hypnotized. And I was born
- 1:10:23Speaker 9: in nineteen fifty seven. Ain't no telling what them photos
- 1:10:25Speaker 9: would look like. I don't even know. I don't even
- 1:10:30Speaker 9: know if they got naked before that. I don't even
- 1:10:32Speaker 9: know what. I just don't even know what was going
- 1:10:36Speaker 9: on back then. But so I feel for you, man,
- 1:10:39Speaker 9: But you need to forget about what you saw.
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: Ignore it.
- 1:10:42Speaker 9: You open up the wrong file and privately winning your business.
- 1:10:46Speaker 9: You stay out of that, stay out of that. You
- 1:10:49Speaker 9: don't you have no idea what's going on?
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:10:53Speaker 11: I think we have time for another one. This one's
- 1:10:55Speaker 11: from Alicia on Facebook. Alicia says, during my twenties, I
- 1:10:59Speaker 11: was extremely focused on my career, and as a result,
- 1:11:02Speaker 11: I'm in a senior role at my job and have
- 1:11:04Speaker 11: more than a dozen people working under me. Last month,
- 1:11:08Speaker 11: I got married and took a week off for our honeymoon.
- 1:11:11Speaker 11: My husband also has a very demanding job, and he
- 1:11:13Speaker 11: makes enough money for us both to comfortably live on.
- 1:11:17Speaker 11: He'd liked me to scale back my work obligation so
- 1:11:20Speaker 11: I can be free to run our household and focus
- 1:11:23Speaker 11: on activities that I enjoy, since we don't need the
- 1:11:26Speaker 11: extra income. I have mixed feelings about this. I know
- 1:11:29Speaker 11: he's coming from a place of kindness, but I've worked
- 1:11:33Speaker 11: very hard to get where I am at work, and
- 1:11:35Speaker 11: I'm not sure I want to give that up. Am
- 1:11:37Speaker 11: I crazy for not wanting to live a life of
- 1:11:39Speaker 11: leisure while I'm able to?
- 1:11:41Speaker 9: Well, it's not that you're crazy. You all should have
- 1:11:46Speaker 9: had these discussions before you got married. Yeah, but you
- 1:11:50Speaker 9: know that would have fixed it all. But I think
- 1:11:52Speaker 9: him offering that to you is noble. That's a good thing.
- 1:11:59Speaker 9: At people like to hold on to what they've what
- 1:12:02Speaker 9: they've worked and accomplished and all of that. So I mean,
- 1:12:07Speaker 9: I can't be mad at you for wanting to hang
- 1:12:08Speaker 9: on to that. But at the same time, I mean,
- 1:12:11Speaker 9: all you got to do.
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: If I were you, I would sit down and weigh
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: it out.
- 1:12:14Speaker 9: Sit down with your husband and you all have a
- 1:12:17Speaker 9: group discussion and weigh out the pros and cons. Have
- 1:12:19Speaker 9: an honest conversation. Tell him what you're honestly feeling and
- 1:12:23Speaker 9: share that with him, and y'all put it on a
- 1:12:25Speaker 9: piece of paper. Here's the pros of it, here's the
- 1:12:27Speaker 9: cons of us, and then make your decision.
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: After that, I'll be at the house.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: You quit everything.
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: I worsh somebody would come in here with me talking.
- 1:12:42Speaker 9: Here's a billion dollars. But you're gonna have to get
- 1:12:44Speaker 9: the call. Family, few call who call it, call who
- 1:12:53Speaker 9: I'm not hauling? Nobody can. You can notify them, but.
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: They just know where you don't show.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: Well, we just been here at work saying where's Steve.

- 1:13:24Speaker 2: have every right to you know, but her career means
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: a lot to it.
- 1:13:28Speaker 9: If that's the case, I understand it. Yeah, yeah, I

- 1:16:17Speaker 2: with hate. I'm gonna complain the whole time. I'm now,
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: but I'm gonna ask about to check though. Keep asking
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: about it, all right?
- 1:16:26Speaker 11: Would you rather become the president of the United States?

- 1:16:39Speaker 9: And I know the country to be one in and
- 1:16:41Speaker 9: y'all don't nobody who y'all be over there. It's good
- 1:16:47Speaker 9: to be getting voted out, none of that. No, right, Oh,
- 1:16:52Speaker 9: it's good to be king, baby, Lord, have mercy.
- 1:16:58Speaker 11: Would you rather die of eating poisonous food or would
- 1:17:01Speaker 11: you rather die of starvations?
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: You live in America.
- 1:17:04Speaker 9: That's how we going anyway, that's what we're doing now.
- 1:17:08Speaker 9: We don't even understand, man, we eat poisonous foods.
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: Y'all listen to me. Do you know that the ingredients
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: in McDonald's French fries in Europe and Africa they have
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: three ingredients salt, potatoes, and oil. Do you know in
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: America there's nineteen ingredients in the French fries.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: Oh, that's why they're so good.
- 1:17:29Speaker 9: That it's flavor additives, it's color additives, it's preservatives.
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: It's a lot.
- 1:17:35Speaker 3: We are.
- 1:17:36Speaker 9: We have got to become more conscious of what we
- 1:17:39Speaker 9: put in our mouths. Now, I know this food is
- 1:17:42Speaker 9: delicious because they got it made that way. They got
- 1:17:45Speaker 9: corn syrup and it fruit toast, they got folic acid
- 1:17:48Speaker 9: in it, they got everything in that, man, that is
- 1:17:51Speaker 9: conditioned to be addictive to you. That's why it's so
- 1:17:54Speaker 9: hard to give up sweets and sugar. That's why it's
- 1:17:57Speaker 9: so addictive, man. Sugar is a huge proponent of cancer.
- 1:18:03Speaker 9: And we've just got to pay better attention to what
- 1:18:07Speaker 9: we eat. I made a commitment, and I do it
- 1:18:10Speaker 9: pretty much ninety percent of the time. I decided to
- 1:18:15Speaker 9: only eat one ingredient foods okay, and that has helped
- 1:18:19Speaker 9: me tremendously with body fat, blood pressure. It's helped me
- 1:18:23Speaker 9: with my energy levels. It's helped me lose body fat. Listen, man,
- 1:18:30Speaker 9: one ingredient food. If it's broccoli, it just has broccoli
- 1:18:33Speaker 9: in it. Let us has let us in a carriage carres,
- 1:18:35Speaker 9: but fish has fish in it, beef fast beef in it.
- 1:18:38Speaker 9: You eat single ingredient food, you will feel better and
- 1:18:42Speaker 9: probably extend you'll stay here on earth.
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: All right, Thank you, Steve.
- 1:18:46Speaker 11: Coming up at forty nine minutes after the hour, it
- 1:18:48Speaker 11: is our last break of the day, and we'll close
- 1:18:50Speaker 11: out the show with the one and only Steve Harvey
- 1:18:53Speaker 11: right after this.
- 1:18:54Speaker 4: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:57Speaker 11: All right, guys, here we are last breakup of the
- 1:19:00Speaker 11: day on this Tuesday, and Steve, before we get out
- 1:19:06Speaker 11: of here, we do have one more clo question for
- 1:19:08Speaker 11: you from Maria in Jacksonville. Maria says, my mom cheated
- 1:19:13Speaker 11: on my dad finally after years of him treating her
- 1:19:17Speaker 11: like a child. I want to visit and he's mad
- 1:19:20Speaker 11: because I'm not mad at my mom.
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: Am I supposed to pick a side.
- 1:19:25Speaker 9: No, no, no, you're not, and you shouldn't. That's their business.
- 1:19:33Speaker 9: But see Dad can't then what Dad mad at you?
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: Fall right?
- 1:19:38Speaker 9: But you know what, Dad steal that? Though, Dad steal
- 1:19:43Speaker 9: that because Dad know what he did. Dad ain't stupid. Everybody, no, man,
- 1:19:50Speaker 9: So it's cool. You know they always known, you know
- 1:19:52Speaker 9: your own. I don't think there's anything for you to
- 1:19:57Speaker 9: be concerned with. You should just say, Dad, that's between
- 1:20:00Speaker 9: you and mom. You know, everybody does adult things. You've
- 1:20:06Speaker 9: done adult things, you know, and everybody got to own
- 1:20:09Speaker 9: up to the end of the bargain. I'm just out
- 1:20:12Speaker 9: here trusting God, and that's that's that really. Do what
- 1:20:16Speaker 9: I done got down to, Yes, sir a manjah.
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: And you know at the back of my shirt says,
- 1:20:22Speaker 2: let me see if I can show you the back God.
- 1:20:28Speaker 9: I mean, man, that's how I feel. That's how me
- 1:20:31Speaker 9: and my wife both feel. It's just like we live
- 1:20:35Speaker 9: in a different world now, man. And if you don't
- 1:20:39Speaker 9: have a relationship with God, then you could fall pray
- 1:20:43Speaker 9: and subject to the devil out here with all the
- 1:20:46Speaker 9: moves he make it. Because the devil is busy. Man,
- 1:20:48Speaker 9: the devil got imps working for him twenty four to
- 1:20:51Speaker 9: seven and all he can just press a button and
- 1:20:53Speaker 9: they just and they joyously go to work. I mean,
- 1:20:57Speaker 9: and they go to work without any regard of anybody else.
- 1:21:02Speaker 9: And I've just learned, man, over course of time and
- 1:21:07Speaker 9: even of late that, Man, when God got you covered,
- 1:21:11Speaker 9: what difference do it make? People can say whatever they
- 1:21:15Speaker 9: want to say about.
- 1:21:16Speaker 2: You if it ain't true.
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: It ain't true.
- 1:21:19Speaker 9: Just because you say it over and over and over
- 1:21:23Speaker 9: and you redial it up and you print it another way,
- 1:21:26Speaker 9: it still don't make it true. And I don't care
- 1:21:30Speaker 9: what you do, man, if you're covet by God, it's
- 1:21:33Speaker 9: nothing they can do to you.
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: Nothing. That's the that's the great thing.
- 1:21:41Speaker 9: About having a relationship with God, that he has a
- 1:21:44Speaker 9: word that he has given to you that you can
- 1:21:47Speaker 9: rely on. His word is real, His word is true.
- 1:21:53Speaker 9: It's one hundred all days. And you have to understand
- 1:21:58Speaker 9: why some things happen to you. It's a lot of
- 1:22:01Speaker 9: stuff happened to you because it's just your season. It's
- 1:22:05Speaker 9: just things are happening to you because look, the devil
- 1:22:08Speaker 9: see what God is doing in your life, and he
- 1:22:11Speaker 9: got to try to distract you and.
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: Throw you off course. So he sending imps after the man.
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: What elp?
- 1:22:18Speaker 9: You ain't got no imp, You ain't got no story,
- 1:22:21Speaker 9: you ain't got no lie. You ain't got nothing bigger
- 1:22:25Speaker 9: than my God. You have nothing bigger than my God.
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: Nothing. I don't care how you.
- 1:22:31Speaker 9: Printed, type it, photograph it, photo shop it, fake interviews,
- 1:22:36Speaker 9: fake news, you can put it all together.
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: You got nothing bigger than my God. I bet you don't.
- 1:22:45Speaker 9: And see guess what. I'm trusting on that and leaning
- 1:22:49Speaker 9: on that. I got people all the time. Man, you
- 1:22:51Speaker 9: ought to do this, you ought to do that. I
- 1:22:53Speaker 9: ain't gota do nothing. I ain't got to do nothing.
- 1:22:55Speaker 9: I'm covering do something for what? Why take the time
- 1:23:02Speaker 9: to give some people some of your energy who ain't
- 1:23:06Speaker 9: got no power, open none.
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: None, y'all. Stops letting people shake your treat.
- 1:23:16Speaker 9: Stay rooted in God, and stay rooted in His promises
- 1:23:21Speaker 9: and his words, and stop letting everybody shake your treuth.
- 1:23:27Speaker 2: Man, I don't care what you do. I don't care
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: what you say, as long as I know it ain't truth.
- 1:23:32Speaker 2: What does it do with man?
- 1:23:35Speaker 9: Man, I'm so I'm so cool with what I've had
- 1:23:37Speaker 9: to learn and sometimes, Man, in order for you to
- 1:23:40Speaker 9: learn a.
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: Lesson, you got to get talk to us. See.
- 1:23:44Speaker 9: So don't get mad. Man, when trouble come your way,
- 1:23:47Speaker 9: don't get mad. When when you get challenged, don't don't
- 1:23:51Speaker 9: don't get mad.
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: When you got to.
- 1:23:53Speaker 9: Deal with something that seems like it's out of your control.
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: It can be out of your control. That don't matter.
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: But if you put it in God's hands, I bet you,
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: I bet you hitting control. I bet you that. And
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: you just gotta have peace.
- 1:24:12Speaker 7: Man.
- 1:24:13Speaker 2: You have to go and find peace. It's a beautiful
- 1:24:16Speaker 2: thing to be in peace.
- 1:24:17Speaker 9: Man, to rest on God's words, to trust that God
- 1:24:21Speaker 9: got you covered, that you ain't got to worry about nothing.
- 1:24:24Speaker 9: I don't care the slings and the arrows they can
- 1:24:28Speaker 9: hit me, but all they bouncing off of is that armor.
- 1:24:32Speaker 9: We got that arm on man, we covert. God got
- 1:24:34Speaker 9: us coming. So all them slings and arrows people be shooting. Yeah,
- 1:24:38Speaker 9: y'all think y'all hitting me, but they bouncing off the armor.
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: I don't even feel it. I feel no pain.
- 1:24:44Speaker 9: I feel absolutely no pain none. What's us It's like
- 1:24:50Speaker 9: it's like Isaiah forty three one and two. I'm telling
- 1:24:53Speaker 9: you that you can walk through the river and you
- 1:24:55Speaker 9: will not be drowned. That you can walk through fire,
- 1:24:58Speaker 9: and nor will you You'll not get burned, nor will
- 1:25:01Speaker 9: kindling set upon your clothing.
- 1:25:03Speaker 2: You know what that means.
- 1:25:04Speaker 9: That means I can walk through the fire. You can't
- 1:25:07Speaker 9: burn me with your fire. And when I come through
- 1:25:10Speaker 9: the fire, there will be no kindling on my clothing.
- 1:25:12Speaker 2: That would be no soo okay, there would be no
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: signs that I was ever in the fire.
- 1:25:17Speaker 9: Now, God didn't say it wouldn't be hot. It's be hot,
- 1:25:21Speaker 9: but you ain't gonna burn me though. I'm good with that.
- 1:25:25Speaker 2: Covert.
- 1:25:26Speaker 9: Y'all get covered by God. Ask God to cover you,
- 1:25:29Speaker 9: and don't worry about the rest.
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: Of this world. Y'all have a great data man, y'all
