- 0:00Speaker 1: Bad news with the economy and how did we get
- 0:03Speaker 1: to where we are today because of the Biden administration.
- 0:06Speaker 1: We now know that the US added just three hundred
- 0:10Speaker 1: and eleven thousand jobs in February. Now, I say just
- 0:14Speaker 1: because that number is actually not great overall. However, that
- 0:19Speaker 1: number is hotter than expected, and that means that inflation
- 0:23Speaker 1: is on the rise. Economists had forecasts that payrolls would
- 0:28Speaker 1: grow by two hundred and twenty three thousand and the
- 0:31Speaker 1: unemployment rate would hold steady at three point four percent.
- 0:35Speaker 1: The problem now is unemployment rate has actually gone up
- 0:38Speaker 1: to three point six percent, and the Labor Department's Job
- 0:42Speaker 1: Openings and Labor Turnover Survey, known as JOLTS, show that
- 0:47Speaker 1: there were ten point eight million job openings in America
- 0:51Speaker 1: today and around one point nine vacancies for every unemployed person.
- 0:58Speaker 1: That's not good news because that means people are gonna
- 1:01Speaker 1: start paying much higher wages to fill those positions. When
- 1:04Speaker 1: you have a two to one ratio, there one worker
- 1:07Speaker 1: for every two jobs. That is why it is fueling inflation.
- 1:13Speaker 1: This on top of the fact that the Biden administration
- 1:17Speaker 1: is ready to raise your taxes. Biden said, don't worry,
- 1:20Speaker 1: no one making less than four hundred thousand dollars a year,
- 1:24Speaker 1: we'll pay a penny more in federal taxes. Do you
- 1:26Speaker 1: believe him? I don't listen. No one making less than
- 1:31Speaker 1: four hundred thousand dollars we'll see a penny in federal
- 1:35Speaker 1: taxes go up, not a single penny. Now, why to
- 1:38Speaker 1: do it four hundred thousand, because I doubt anybody here
- 1:40Speaker 1: makes four hundred thousand. I did it to make the
- 1:43Speaker 1: case that I'm not going after anything remotely any ordinary folks,
- 1:49Speaker 1: because they're paying their share. Because they're paying their share,
- 1:54Speaker 1: all right. So if you make four hundred thousand dollars
- 1:56Speaker 1: or more year, how much do you pay in taxes
- 1:59Speaker 1: a lot? There's a good chance you're paying close to
- 2:01Speaker 1: one hundred thousand dollars, if not more, depending on how
- 2:05Speaker 1: you have your businesses and how you pay your taxes
- 2:08Speaker 1: and how you invest your funds. In other words, you're
- 2:11Speaker 1: going to be paying probably more than one hundred thousand
- 2:13Speaker 1: dollars a year. And now he wants more of your money.
- 2:16Speaker 1: If you make four hundred thousand dollars a year more,
- 2:18Speaker 1: there's a very good chance that you also employed quite
- 2:20Speaker 1: a few people. That means you're helping the economy, you're
- 2:24Speaker 1: a small business owner, you're taking risks, you're investing in things,
- 2:28Speaker 1: and of the Biden team, you are now apparently public
- 2:32Speaker 1: enemy number one. Now the White House also at the
- 2:35Speaker 1: same time, has come out with their budget. Yeah, their budget.
- 2:42Speaker 1: I want you to take a listen to what is
- 2:44Speaker 1: in this budget. And before I get to that, I
- 2:49Speaker 1: also want you to know what they believe in. With
- 2:52Speaker 1: this White House. It's not about actually what's helping you
- 2:54Speaker 1: as the American people. It's actually about pushing agenda items
- 2:58Speaker 1: like climate change, transgender ism, and inner sex. Yes, these
- 3:04Speaker 1: are all words used in Biden's new budget. Take a
- 3:08Speaker 1: list of this from Senator Ted Cruz. The agenda, This
- 3:11Speaker 1: is Bernie Sanders's budget, This is AOC, this is Elizabeth Warren.
- 3:15Speaker 1: And let me show you just some amazing stats just
- 3:19Speaker 1: on a quick review of the budget. All right, here's
- 3:24Speaker 1: how many times the following words appear in the budget.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Equity sixty three times, climate one hundred and forty eight times,
- 3:34Speaker 1: environmental justice twenty five times, transgender eight times, intersects which
- 3:40Speaker 1: I have no idea what that is. Seven times. Now
- 3:46Speaker 1: none of us know either. That's more a Yale thing.
- 3:53Speaker 1: So let me give you the other side of that, John,
- 3:57Speaker 1: I hope you don't have yel people sing glad real quick.
- 4:02Speaker 1: So things the American people care about inflation only ten times,
- 4:06Speaker 1: fentanyl twice, border security eight times, police four times, law
- 4:11Speaker 1: enforcement nine times, crime twenty four times, and gas prices
- 4:15Speaker 1: three times. They tell you who they are. Senator Cruz
- 4:20Speaker 1: there on Hannity with a live studio audience. I love
- 4:22Speaker 1: the energy there. If you haven't watched Hannity with a
- 4:25Speaker 1: live audience, it's really cool. But what Senator Cruz was
- 4:28Speaker 1: talking about there is the fact that this budget is
- 4:30Speaker 1: not actually a budget. This is a propaganda budget about equity,
- 4:36Speaker 1: climate change, transgenderism. This isn't a budget. Equity used sixty
- 4:41Speaker 1: three times, climate a hundred and forty eight times, environmental
- 4:46Speaker 1: justice twenty five times, transgender eight times in a budget,
- 4:52Speaker 1: intersects as he put out, no idea what that means
- 4:55Speaker 1: seven times. Now it's compared to things like the American people,
- 5:00Speaker 1: what does this tell you? They don't care about a budget.
- 5:03Speaker 1: They care about changing fundamentally this country. That's one of
- 5:07Speaker 1: the biggest issues here. When you have a budget and
- 5:10Speaker 1: you only mentioned inflation ten times, fetinal twice, board of
- 5:13Speaker 1: security eight times, and gas prices three times. But you
- 5:16Speaker 1: have these other words one hundred and forty eight times
- 5:19Speaker 1: a word climate and equity sixty three times. You know
- 5:23Speaker 1: this administration is pushing an agenda, awoke agenda that they
- 5:28Speaker 1: want you to pay for, and they want you to
- 5:30Speaker 1: pay a lot of money for it, billions and billions
- 5:33Speaker 1: of dollars. Now, we looked up intersects to just so
- 5:37Speaker 1: you understand what it means, because this is apparently important
- 5:39Speaker 1: in our United States budget. Intersex is a general term,
- 5:44Speaker 1: and this is in our budget use for a variety
- 5:48Speaker 1: of situations in which a person is born with reproductive
- 5:52Speaker 1: or sexual anatomy that doesn't fit the boxes of female
- 5:57Speaker 1: or male. Sometimes doctors do surgeries on intersects babies and
- 6:02Speaker 1: children to make their bodies fit the binary ideas of
- 6:07Speaker 1: quote male or female. So that is in our budget. Now,
- 6:11Speaker 1: does that have anything to do with our budget? Of course,
- 6:13Speaker 1: it doesn't have anything to do with our budget. Of course,
- 6:17Speaker 1: this has nothing to do with our budget. But it's
- 6:21Speaker 1: in there. And if you want to know why we've
- 6:24Speaker 1: gone to hell in a handbasket in this country with
- 6:26Speaker 1: this budget, this is exactly why. This is exactly why
- 6:31Speaker 1: our country has gone to hell in a handbasket under
- 6:34Speaker 1: the Biden administration because they're not running the country the
- 6:37Speaker 1: way that you would run a country. They're not running
- 6:39Speaker 1: the country in a fiscally responsible manner. They're running our
- 6:44Speaker 1: country using the budget to push an extreme, woke ideology.
- 6:48Speaker 1: That is the truth, and you just have to read
- 6:51Speaker 1: the budget to understand it. This is a woke Bernie
- 6:54Speaker 1: Sanders budget. There was also something else that center Cruz said,
- 6:58Speaker 1: and he went in a much more detail on this
- 7:01Speaker 1: on Verdict with Ted Cruise, our podcast that I co
- 7:03Speaker 1: host with him. But I want you to hear this
- 7:05Speaker 1: and again this is with the studio audience on Handy
- 7:07Speaker 1: last night, saying the sad truth is we have a
- 7:10Speaker 1: White House isn't being run by the Democratic Party. We
- 7:12Speaker 1: have a white House that's being run by socialists. Senator
- 7:16Speaker 1: I gave the numbers. We see the economy. We see
- 7:20Speaker 1: two thirds of the American people now can't make ends meet.
- 7:23Speaker 1: You see people cashing in their retirement plans to make
- 7:26Speaker 1: ends meet, people for bare necessities or using credit cards.
- 7:30Speaker 1: It's never been this bad in my life. Emily Sean,
- 7:34Speaker 1: the sad truth is the sad truth is the socialist
- 7:38Speaker 1: or in charge of the White House. Joe Biden certainly isn't.
- 7:40Speaker 1: But the people he surrounded him with, they have a
- 7:44Speaker 1: very simple approach to everything. They want to spend money
- 7:46Speaker 1: they don't want to have. They want to raise taxes
- 7:48Speaker 1: on you. They've unleashed record inflation. This budget that Biden
- 7:55Speaker 1: put out would create a fifty trillion dollar national debt.
- 7:59Speaker 1: And their view is they can just keep printing money
- 8:02Speaker 1: and unleashing inflation and borrowing money from China, and it
- 8:06Speaker 1: is wildly irresponsible. You know what's not in this budget
- 8:09Speaker 1: funds to secure our southern border. That they want to
- 8:12Speaker 1: fund eighty seven thousand new IRS agents, but they don't
- 8:15Speaker 1: have funds for significant numbers of new border patrol agents.
- 8:19Speaker 1: They don't have funds for significant number of new DA
- 8:22Speaker 1: agents to stop the fentanol crisis, the over one hundred
- 8:26Speaker 1: thousand overdoses that happened last year on Biden's watch. This
- 8:30Speaker 1: is a tax and spend budget, and amazingly some of
- 8:34Speaker 1: the taxes. They've got five point five trillion dollars in
- 8:36Speaker 1: new taxes in this budget. That includes taxes directly on energy,
- 8:41Speaker 1: so remember all the Democrats who said, gosh, we want
- 8:43Speaker 1: your gas prices low, they were lying. Joe Biden's budget
- 8:47Speaker 1: is saying he wants gas gas prices much much higher,
- 8:51Speaker 1: and he's going to put taxes on him where he
- 8:53Speaker 1: wants to in order to drive the prices up. Senator Cruise,
- 8:57Speaker 1: and the point that he is pointing out here is
- 8:59Speaker 1: being a member of the Senate and he's going to
- 9:01Speaker 1: have to vote on this budget is this is a
- 9:04Speaker 1: massive in expansion of government, trillions of dollars in new taxation,
- 9:10Speaker 1: and Democrats are now going back to what they wanted
- 9:13Speaker 1: to do all along. They are going to go after
- 9:17Speaker 1: oil and gas. We know the oil and gas prices
- 9:20Speaker 1: skyrocketing destroyed the economy. Democrats don't have a problem with that,
- 9:25Speaker 1: because they want to force you into alternative and green energy.
- 9:29Speaker 1: They want to force you into a hybrid. They want
- 9:31Speaker 1: to force you to change the way that you live
- 9:34Speaker 1: your life. So they don't have a problem with this.
- 9:37Speaker 1: They are completely fine with it. And the proof of
- 9:41Speaker 1: it is not that they're just fine with it. They're
- 9:42Speaker 1: gonna do it. They're advocating for it, they're moving forward,
- 9:45Speaker 1: They've written a bill for this. How many Democrats have
- 9:49Speaker 1: come out saying it's absurd to raise taxes trillions of
- 9:52Speaker 1: dollars right now in this country while we're already in
- 9:55Speaker 1: a recession and we're in a recession. It doesn't matter
- 9:59Speaker 1: how the meeting it tries to spend this or this
- 10:01Speaker 1: idea that we're in a possible recession or moving possibly
- 10:05Speaker 1: towards a recession. All that is crap. We are in
- 10:08Speaker 1: a recession. Okay, we're in it. It's clear. You can
- 10:11Speaker 1: feel it, you can watch it. You can see it
- 10:13Speaker 1: the prices at the grocery store. You can see it
- 10:16Speaker 1: with the prices of interestrying and see it with a
- 10:17Speaker 1: housing market. You can see it with the employment market.
- 10:20Speaker 1: We have two openings for every one possible employee in
- 10:24Speaker 1: this country right now. Wages are increasing and that is
- 10:27Speaker 1: pushing up inflation. The cost of goods and services are
- 10:31Speaker 1: going through the roof. Why do you think so many
- 10:33Speaker 1: people are not buying a house right now because of
- 10:36Speaker 1: not just interest rates but the pricing and talk about
- 10:39Speaker 1: new goods and services through the roof, labors through the roof.
- 10:44Speaker 1: That's why the US economy is again on fire in
- 10:48Speaker 1: two different ways, one with inflation and on fire as
- 10:52Speaker 1: it's hurting all of us now. There are also people
- 10:56Speaker 1: that are worried about other things that are happening. A
- 10:59Speaker 1: Silicon on Valley Bank, for example, shares have been halted
- 11:05Speaker 1: on Wall Street after a plunge deepens the bank SVB
- 11:10Speaker 1: Silicon Valley Bank. This is the same thing that happened
- 11:15Speaker 1: with Bear Stearns and the economy back in the In
- 11:19Speaker 1: the Bush Air twenty six seven eight, trading and shares
- 11:23Speaker 1: of the holding company of Silicon Valley Bank were halted
- 11:26Speaker 1: for Penning News on Friday after pre market price indicators
- 11:30Speaker 1: plunged by sixty three percent. SVB Financial Group set on
- 11:36Speaker 1: Wednesday that it was issueing at two point two five
- 11:39Speaker 1: billion of shares to bolster its capital position after a
- 11:42Speaker 1: significant loss in its investment portfolio. Prominent venture capitalists, reportedly
- 11:49Speaker 1: including Peter Thield, have reportedly told portfolio companies to withdraw
- 11:54Speaker 1: funds from the bank. CNBC is now reporting that the
- 11:59Speaker 1: attempted capital raise has quote failed. Instead, the bank is
- 12:04Speaker 1: now looking to sell itself, according to CNBC, The bank
- 12:09Speaker 1: set on Wednesday that would that it would book a
- 12:11Speaker 1: one point eight billion after tax loss on sales of investments,
- 12:17Speaker 1: sparking panic that has led some depositors to withdraw their
- 12:21Speaker 1: funds from the bank. Rising rates hurt the value of
- 12:25Speaker 1: bond portfolios held by this bank. What's more, customers are
- 12:29Speaker 1: lured out of bank deposits seeking higher yields and safe
- 12:32Speaker 1: assets such as short term treasuries. Perishing Square CEO Bill
- 12:37Speaker 1: Ackman compare the collapse of this bank Silicon Valley Bank
- 12:43Speaker 1: SVP to bear sterns and a tweet on Friday indicating
- 12:46Speaker 1: that the government may need to help, may need to
- 12:48Speaker 1: step in to make sure depositors were safe in order
- 12:51Speaker 1: to stem a broader bank run. It's happening, folks, the
- 12:57Speaker 1: economy right now. This is where we are. They can
- 13:00Speaker 1: lie to you and tell you that things are fine,
- 13:02Speaker 1: and the president can walk out there and tell you
- 13:04Speaker 1: we need to raise taxes. But this is the economy.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Why the hell would you raise taxes right now. Don't worry, though,
- 13:11Speaker 1: Joe Biden says, Hey, we're only going to screw the
- 13:13Speaker 1: people that are actually employing people. Those making over four
- 13:16Speaker 1: hundred thousand dollars a year are just going to pay
- 13:18Speaker 1: for the trillions of new spending. No one making less
- 13:22Speaker 1: than four hundred thousand dollars. We'll see a penny in
- 13:26Speaker 1: federal taxes go up, not a single penny. Now, why
- 13:29Speaker 1: to do it four hundred thousand, because I doubt anybody
- 13:31Speaker 1: here makes four hundred thousand. I did it to make
- 13:34Speaker 1: the case that I'm not going after anything remotely, and
- 13:39Speaker 1: even ordinary folks, because they're paying their share. Because they're
- 13:44Speaker 1: paying their fair share. Yeah, this goes back to the
- 13:49Speaker 1: democratic playbook. We see this every single time. What do
- 13:53Speaker 1: they say, you're not paying your fair share? Right? You
- 13:57Speaker 1: go to war with people, and you turn the good
- 13:59Speaker 1: guys into the back guys. You turn the employers into
- 14:01Speaker 1: the evil ones. You turn the rich people into the
- 14:03Speaker 1: evil ones. You tell the country that they're public enemy
- 14:07Speaker 1: number one, that they're the ones that are screwing you,
- 14:10Speaker 1: even though they're the ones that are paying the mass
- 14:13Speaker 1: majority of taxes. I'll tell you what, when I was younger,
- 14:16Speaker 1: growing up, I love this country a lot more than
- 14:19Speaker 1: I do love the government right now. I loved our
- 14:21Speaker 1: government a lot more than I like the government right now.
- 14:24Speaker 1: But when you start riding a check, when you have
- 14:26Speaker 1: good years and you take big risks, and you work
- 14:28Speaker 1: your tail off for six figures and taxes, and I've
- 14:30Speaker 1: had to do that and you realize what you don't
- 14:33Speaker 1: get in return for six figures of work. When you
- 14:36Speaker 1: realize that I work January February March to pay my
- 14:41Speaker 1: taxes and then I get start earning money. That's how
- 14:43Speaker 1: long I work for the United States government every year,
- 14:47Speaker 1: no matter what. It'll really make you angry, and it
- 14:51Speaker 1: should make you angry by the way. It is infuriating.
- 14:55Speaker 1: It is infuriating that that's where we are in this country,
- 14:58Speaker 1: and now they want more from me. When I take risks,
- 15:01Speaker 1: when I start businesses, when I work as hard as
- 15:04Speaker 1: I can to provide for my family, when I take
- 15:08Speaker 1: huge losses through COVID and businesses and small businesses, when
- 15:12Speaker 1: I have income that drops fifty sixty seventy percent a
- 15:15Speaker 1: year because of the economy, because of advertising, for example,
- 15:18Speaker 1: They're not going to be there to help me. They're
- 15:21Speaker 1: just gonna take every damn dime then get their hands on.
- 15:25Speaker 1: And it's not just because I'm conservative, It's because I
- 15:27Speaker 1: am fighting hard and working hard. Self made small business owners.
- 15:34Speaker 1: They don't punch a clock. They do whatever it takes
- 15:38Speaker 1: for as many hours as it takes to get it done.
- 15:42Speaker 1: And the federal government now is putting their foot on
- 15:45Speaker 1: all of our necks to the tune of trillions and
- 15:49Speaker 1: news spending. And this is the Democratic Socialist Party. They're
- 15:53Speaker 1: not Democrats, they're socialists. You look at this budget. It's
- 15:57Speaker 1: not a budget. It's a socialist manifesto that now actually
- 16:05Speaker 1: has funding connected to it. This isn't just some random idea, okay,
- 16:13Speaker 1: This is an actual manifesto. This is a manifesto that says,
- 16:20Speaker 1: now we would like to move on to the funding stage,
- 16:24Speaker 1: and if you have money, we're going to take it
- 16:27Speaker 1: from you, and we're gonna give it to the government
- 16:30Speaker 1: who's ain't going to debut it out to people that
- 16:32Speaker 1: we like that people that we think are good, people
- 16:35Speaker 1: that we think will vote for us. There isn't an
- 16:39Speaker 1: economist in the country right now that would believe and
- 16:44Speaker 1: advocate for the idea that now is the right time
- 16:48Speaker 1: to raise taxes, okay, And there's not a single person
- 16:55Speaker 1: right now that would say this is the time to
- 16:57Speaker 1: do it. Janet Yellen, by the way, saying Biden's policies
- 17:02Speaker 1: have made a meaningful difference for American families. I want
- 17:06Speaker 1: to know why the Treasury Secretary is making political statements
- 17:10Speaker 1: like this about the presidents twenty twenty four budget. Listen
- 17:13Speaker 1: to your Treasury Secretary now. Our task is to navigate
- 17:17Speaker 1: our economy's transition from rapid recovery to sustainable growth. Our
- 17:23Speaker 1: administration's top economic priority remains bringing down inflation. We've seen
- 17:30Speaker 1: some moderation and headline inflation, but more work needs to
- 17:34Speaker 1: be done. Our administration will continue to build on the
- 17:38Speaker 1: actions we've taken to expand supply and provide cost relief
- 17:44Speaker 1: in areas like energy and healthcare. These actions have made
- 17:49Speaker 1: a meaningful difference for American families. So we now have
- 17:54Speaker 1: a Treasury secretary that's pushing this socialist propaganda. Kevin McCarthy,
- 18:01Speaker 1: the Speaker of the House, he did an interview earlier
- 18:05Speaker 1: today talking about Joe Biden's budget, and he put it
- 18:08Speaker 1: into perspective a little bit different way. He said, what
- 18:13Speaker 1: Joe Biden's trying to do is create the biggest government
- 18:15Speaker 1: we've ever seen in the history of the world. We
- 18:18Speaker 1: disagree and then fight it out on the Commress. I'd
- 18:20Speaker 1: ready to meet with the Speaker anytime tomorrow if he
- 18:24Speaker 1: has his budget. Just heard the President say he's ready
- 18:27Speaker 1: for you. Are you ready for him? I've been ready
- 18:30Speaker 1: to meet with him since the day he got in,
- 18:32Speaker 1: but he's been avoiding. You know, he's been more than
- 18:34Speaker 1: a month late with producing this budget. He's known it
- 18:37Speaker 1: for more than two years. And anybody who's took economy
- 18:40Speaker 1: one oh one would know this is the wrong approach.
- 18:43Speaker 1: We've got an economy worried about whether we're going to
- 18:46Speaker 1: go downward, and he wants to take taxes. That's all
- 18:49Speaker 1: he ever wants to do to create the biggest government
- 18:51Speaker 1: we've ever had. And then what does he do about
- 18:54Speaker 1: the deficit? He just adds to it. And we've just
- 18:56Speaker 1: had the Congressional Budget Office come out and tell us
- 19:00Speaker 1: why do we have inflation? All that spending Democrats did
- 19:03Speaker 1: why they were in power, and now he wants to
- 19:06Speaker 1: spend more. So now we have to pay the piper.
- 19:08Speaker 1: We're going to pay more than ten point five trillion
- 19:11Speaker 1: in the next ten years just on interest. But for
- 19:14Speaker 1: the American public to know, since nineteen forty to today,
- 19:18Speaker 1: we've only paid nine trillion dollars in interest. So he's
- 19:21Speaker 1: going to do what took us eighty some years to
- 19:24Speaker 1: happen in less than ten years, and for the first
- 19:27Speaker 1: time in a ten year window, by the Congressional Budget Office.
- 19:31Speaker 1: All three trust funds go insolvent, the Highway Trust Fund, Medicare,
- 19:36Speaker 1: and Social Security. And he has no answer, And why
- 19:40Speaker 1: is it going insolvent? Because they rated it when they
- 19:43Speaker 1: did Obamacare. They rated it when they passed their last
- 19:46Speaker 1: big all Democrat bill, their American Rescue. They continue to
- 19:51Speaker 1: have the worst policies for this country. It's to take
- 19:55Speaker 1: more and make government bigger, take more and make government bigger,
- 20:00Speaker 1: trying to make the biggest government we've ever seen in
- 20:02Speaker 1: the history of this country. And Joe Biden just says, Hey,
- 20:05Speaker 1: we're in a bad economy, let's raise taxes. Janet yellen
- 20:09Speaker 1: policies have made a meaningful different in American families. Yeah,
- 20:12Speaker 1: they have less money now than they've ever had before.
- 20:15Speaker 1: And the President just walked out trying to spend all
- 20:18Speaker 1: of this news at the White House, saying a moment ago,
- 20:21Speaker 1: the February jobs report shows that my economic plan his words,
- 20:27Speaker 1: is working. I think we've got a good jobs report.
- 20:30Speaker 1: I'm happy to report that our economy has created over
- 20:33Speaker 1: three hundred thousand new jobs last month. And that's on
- 20:37Speaker 1: top of a half million jobs we added the month before.
- 20:41Speaker 1: All told, we've created more than twelve thousand, twelve thousand
- 20:45Speaker 1: jobs since they took office, nearly eight thousand of the
- 20:48Speaker 1: manufacturing jobs. That means overall, we've created more jobs in
- 20:52Speaker 1: two years than any administrations have created in the first
- 20:55Speaker 1: four years. And I think all this matters. By the way,
- 21:00Speaker 1: do any of you believe any of this when he says,
- 21:03Speaker 1: you know, we've created more jobs anybody else than in
- 21:05Speaker 1: the first two years, and you didn't create those jobs.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Mister president, What you did do is you shut down
- 21:13Speaker 1: the country and did everything you could to keep it
- 21:17Speaker 1: shut down, and then you came back. You're like, all right,
- 21:22Speaker 1: now that we've shut everything down, we're gonna open it
- 21:26Speaker 1: back up. And then hiring went through the roof. That's
- 21:30Speaker 1: not you creating a job. That's people just going back
- 21:34Speaker 1: to the jobs that you help shut down when you
- 21:39Speaker 1: shut down the economy and then finally people got to
- 21:42Speaker 1: go back to work. That's not creating a job. Okay,
- 21:50Speaker 1: you can't take credit for that. That's not creating anything
- 21:58Speaker 1: at all. But he wants you to believe that somehow
- 22:01Speaker 1: he's creating jobs literally out of thin air. It means
- 22:08Speaker 1: our economic plan is working. And when I took office
- 22:12Speaker 1: the recovery and the economy was there was no recovery
- 22:15Speaker 1: in the economy was really and the eighteen million people
- 22:19Speaker 1: were unemployed on unemployment insurance compared to less than two
- 22:23Speaker 1: millions a day. Unemployment was six point three percent, and
- 22:27Speaker 1: nonpartisan Congressional budget officers predicted it wouldn't get below four
- 22:31Speaker 1: percent until twenty twenty six. Because of our economic plan,
- 22:35Speaker 1: unemployment has been below four percent for fourteen straight months
- 22:39Speaker 1: since January twenty twenty two. Last month, that unemployment rate
- 22:43Speaker 1: remained near the lowest level in fifty years. Fifty years,
- 22:48Speaker 1: and that's really good news. People who were staying out
- 22:51Speaker 1: of the job market, this is a particularly good news,
- 22:53Speaker 1: are now getting back into the job market. They're coming
- 22:56Speaker 1: off the sidelines. They're getting back into the job market.
- 22:59Speaker 1: The share of working age folks who are in the
- 23:02Speaker 1: labor force, it's higher than it has been anytime since
- 23:05Speaker 1: two thousand and eight. That was one of the big
- 23:07Speaker 1: predictors everybody's looking at. So Joe Biden wants you to
- 23:11Speaker 1: believe the economy is great. You should pat him on
- 23:14Speaker 1: the back, that inflation isn't real, that the expansion of
- 23:18Speaker 1: government and higher taxes is all a good thing and
- 23:22Speaker 1: part of his plan. The White House also claiming this
- 23:29Speaker 1: morning that his fiscal policies are somehow responsible, even though
- 23:34Speaker 1: we're borrowing record number of dollars and trillion dollar deficits
- 23:40Speaker 1: when we talk about deficit reduction, when we talk about
- 23:44Speaker 1: having being fiscally responsible. This is something that the President
- 23:47Speaker 1: has talked about since the campaign. And you hear me
- 23:50Speaker 1: just as I did moments ago, talk about the one
- 23:52Speaker 1: point seven trillion dollars deficit that he did the first
- 23:55Speaker 1: two years. Yeah, they're now telling you he's actually cutting
- 23:59Speaker 1: your deficit, that things are better because of him, not worse,
- 24:04Speaker 1: And the White House Press Corps not pushing back on this,
- 24:07Speaker 1: They're just reporting this. You go out and talk to
- 24:10Speaker 1: any American right now and they will tell you that
- 24:12Speaker 1: they are hurting. We know from the data that there
- 24:16Speaker 1: are more Americans now than in any other time in
- 24:18Speaker 1: my lifetime, living literally paycheck to paycheck, taking money out
- 24:23Speaker 1: of their retirement accounts, out of their four oh one case,
- 24:28Speaker 1: just to try to make ends meet. Yes, we know that.
- 24:31Speaker 1: I'm honest about this. Some wages have gone up, but
- 24:34Speaker 1: the amount of money that you're making now is instantly
- 24:38Speaker 1: disappearing because the costs of goods and services have skyrocketed.
- 24:44Speaker 1: You can't say that the economy is in great shape
- 24:47Speaker 1: when the American people are struggling just to put food
- 24:50Speaker 1: on the table. I was talking to a banker the
- 24:53Speaker 1: other day and they were talking about the massive increase
- 24:56Speaker 1: in overdrafts on debit cards. This areted late last year,
- 25:02Speaker 1: and they say, is continuing to get worse and worse
- 25:08Speaker 1: and worse. Why is that happening? How is it getting
- 25:14Speaker 1: and why is it getting worse and worse? Because Americans
- 25:17Speaker 1: are running out of money each month before they get
- 25:20Speaker 1: their next paycheck. Would increasing taxes fix that problem or
- 25:27Speaker 1: make it even worse? It would make it worse. Talk
- 25:29Speaker 1: to any economists. They would say, now is not the
- 25:32Speaker 1: right time to raise taxes. This would be a colossal
- 25:38Speaker 1: failure to raise taxes right now, at this moment in time.
- 25:44Speaker 1: They don't care. So when they tell you that things
- 25:51Speaker 1: are good, go look at your bank account. When they
- 25:55Speaker 1: tell you things are good, go look at the costs
- 25:57Speaker 1: of a gallon of milk. Go look at the record
- 26:00Speaker 1: setting prices for basic necessities like eggs. Have you looked
- 26:06Speaker 1: at egg prices lately? Have you looked at bread? How
- 26:10Speaker 1: have you looked at butter. Have you looked at not
- 26:13Speaker 1: just butter, have you looked at the price of chicken.
- 26:16Speaker 1: I bought chicken breasts the other day, took a cook
- 26:19Speaker 1: at home, right save a little money. Fourteen dollars for
- 26:23Speaker 1: my family for chicken. I've never paid that in my life.
- 26:26Speaker 1: It was over four dollars a pound for chicken breasts.
- 26:29Speaker 1: And I wasn't buying like the organic we gave the kids.
- 26:33Speaker 1: You know, the chickens hugs every morning chicken breasts either.
- 26:36Speaker 1: This was just straight up chicken breasts. I've never paid
- 26:40Speaker 1: what I'm paying right now for a gallon of milk.
- 26:41Speaker 1: I've never paid what I'm paying right now for butter.
- 26:44Speaker 1: I've never paid what I'm paying right now for beef.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Are those prices coming down? No, And the American people
- 26:52Speaker 1: are feeling this, and they want to raise your taxes
- 26:58Speaker 1: because ultimately what they need is a very every week
- 27:00Speaker 1: economy so that you're dependent on the government for your survival.
- 27:04Speaker 1: That's how democrats get power. Make sure you share a
