- 2:01Speaker 1: Uh huh, I sure will. A good morning everybody. You're
- 2:05Speaker 1: listening to the voice, come on dig me now. One
- 2:09Speaker 1: and only Steve Harley got a radio show, Yeah, I
- 2:12Speaker 1: got one. And I got a message for you today
- 2:16Speaker 1: to something I was thinking about that might help you
- 2:19Speaker 1: along the way. Um the thing I appreciate about so
- 2:23Speaker 1: many uh people that I learned from Bishop Jake's, Kenneth Omer,
- 2:30Speaker 1: Donnie McClerkin, Kirk Franklin, um, Joel Oldstein. I can't tell
- 2:39Speaker 1: you and and and and many more than that. I mean,
- 2:43Speaker 1: you know, I mean I'm naming you know, famous people
- 2:49Speaker 1: because because I know you know these names. But my father,
- 2:53Speaker 1: who you never met, was so great in my development
- 2:57Speaker 1: as a man. But my mother at him mercy. My
- 3:01Speaker 1: mother was um. She taught me about faith. She gave
- 3:08Speaker 1: me the things I needed to know about. What I
- 3:11Speaker 1: speak about every day, that basis was given to me
- 3:13Speaker 1: by her. So there's so many great people. But here's
- 3:17Speaker 1: here's here's the thing that I've had to learn, and
- 3:22Speaker 1: that is that if God got you through it, it's done.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Move on. See, I can't tell you how many people
- 3:31Speaker 1: don't really pay attention to that close enough. If God
- 3:35Speaker 1: got you through it, it's done. Move on. How many
- 3:42Speaker 1: times have we as people allowed God to get us
- 3:46Speaker 1: through something, get us beyond something, get us over something,
- 3:51Speaker 1: get us through something, and then even after it's completion,
- 3:56Speaker 1: we sit there and we dwell on it, and we
- 3:59Speaker 1: dwell on it to the point where it becomes an
- 4:01Speaker 1: anchor around our neck and we can't move on. We
- 4:07Speaker 1: can't move on because we just won't let it go.
- 4:13Speaker 1: It's done. If God got you through it, it's done.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Move on. Stop harboring on the pass. Stop hanging on
- 4:23Speaker 1: to every time you fail, Stop hanging on to every
- 4:26Speaker 1: time you slipped up and messed up. Stop hanging on
- 4:30Speaker 1: to every time you didn't get it right. So what
- 4:33Speaker 1: everybody makes mistakes, Everybody messes up, Everybody don't get it right.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Everybody is struggling with something. You ain't the only one,
- 4:46Speaker 1: but my God. Man, if God got you through it,
- 4:50Speaker 1: it's done. Move on. You're hanging on to it, for
- 4:54Speaker 1: that's why He got it, got you through it, so
- 4:57Speaker 1: you can move on from it. See a lot lot
- 5:00Speaker 1: of things that happened to us that we think are
- 5:03Speaker 1: negative or bad experience. These are lessons and what and
- 5:08Speaker 1: what not to do. This is a this uh, this
- 5:13Speaker 1: is a this is a way to have a now
- 5:16Speaker 1: or bearing on. Lookout for it the next time. You
- 5:20Speaker 1: know you you you you you You got me once,
- 5:24Speaker 1: you can't get me again. I'm telling you, man, if
- 5:28Speaker 1: God got you through it, it's done. Move on. You
- 5:33Speaker 1: have got to move on. I use this analogy all
- 5:36Speaker 1: the time. I'm gonna add a little bit to it.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Bishop Jake's told me you cannot drive your car looking
- 5:45Speaker 1: in the rear view mirror. I was talking to a
- 5:51Speaker 1: young singer yesterday who I ran up into and man,
- 5:55Speaker 1: let me tell you something. This this this analogy, And
- 6:00Speaker 1: I told him. We had about twenty minute conversational. See
- 6:04Speaker 1: you know what your rear view mirror is actually for
- 6:06Speaker 1: in your car. I was just tripping on this one day. Actually,
- 6:11Speaker 1: your rear view mirror is designed and this is what
- 6:16Speaker 1: I use it for. After I pass a car and
- 6:21Speaker 1: I want to emerge into that lane or I want
- 6:24Speaker 1: to make another move, I look up in the rear
- 6:30Speaker 1: view mirror, and all I use it for it shows
- 6:34Speaker 1: me that I've gotten past it. I've gotten past the
- 6:38Speaker 1: vehicle I was passing, and I got enough room, not clear,
- 6:42Speaker 1: to make my next move. That's what I used my
- 6:45Speaker 1: rear view mirror for. I used my rear view mirror
- 6:48Speaker 1: to just glance up every now and then to see
- 6:51Speaker 1: what's coming up on me. That's all I use it for.
- 6:57Speaker 1: The rear view mirror when you're passing through something. Listen
- 7:01Speaker 1: to me real close now. Your rear view mirror on
- 7:05Speaker 1: your car is after you're passing something or you're passing
- 7:09Speaker 1: by something, you can look up in the rear view
- 7:12Speaker 1: mirror and it lets you know you're past it, You're
- 7:16Speaker 1: beyond it. It's clear. Now it's in the past. You
- 7:20Speaker 1: no longer have to deal with it as the car
- 7:23Speaker 1: that was in front of you blocking your way. You
- 7:26Speaker 1: have passed it. You look up in the mirror, you've
- 7:30Speaker 1: cleared it. Now if you want to switch lanes, could
- 7:34Speaker 1: slide on over. You got room. But that rear view
- 7:37Speaker 1: mirror also lets you see if anything is coming up
- 7:41Speaker 1: on you, and you just need to glance, because if
- 7:43Speaker 1: you're moving forward, ain't a whole lot can come up
- 7:47Speaker 1: on you. You just glancing every now and then, and
- 7:49Speaker 1: it reminds you that you got through something and you
- 7:52Speaker 1: got beyond something. That's what the rear view mirror for. Now,
- 7:56Speaker 1: let's talk about that wind shield. While you think that
- 8:00Speaker 1: wind shields so big on your car, that's the biggest
- 8:04Speaker 1: window on your car. You know why the wind shield
- 8:08Speaker 1: so big because it's where you're going. Because even the
- 8:14Speaker 1: automobile makers want you to have a wide view of
- 8:17Speaker 1: where you're going so you can see what's up ahead.
- 8:22Speaker 1: They put lights on the car night so you can
- 8:24Speaker 1: have night vision and see what's up ahead. But you
- 8:27Speaker 1: can oh man, uh see not? Why is that? Look?
- 8:31Speaker 1: Think about that now? Before I move forward with this one,
- 8:34Speaker 1: think about that wind shield. Man, why is that wind
- 8:37Speaker 1: shields so big so you can see where you're going?
- 8:41Speaker 1: It's way more important where you're going there where you're being,
- 8:45Speaker 1: don't you see that. That's why the rear view mirror
- 8:48Speaker 1: is so small, because it is nowhere there as important
- 8:51Speaker 1: as it is as to where you're going, why you're being.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Just allows you to take a glance so you can
- 8:58Speaker 1: make sure you clear it, so you can see if
- 9:00Speaker 1: it's room enough for you to make your next move,
- 9:02Speaker 1: so you can know that you've gone through it and
- 9:04Speaker 1: go head on about your business. But that windshield, that
- 9:08Speaker 1: windshield is for vision a man without a dream of
- 9:12Speaker 1: visions your parish. That windshield is for somebody going somewhere.
- 9:16Speaker 1: That windshielding for somebody else there trying to make another move.
- 9:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna go right, I'm on left. I'm gonna get
- 9:22Speaker 1: off on this exit. I'm gonna take this D two.
- 9:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna handle it. Signed, there's a new route. There's
- 9:26Speaker 1: only so many miles left to go. That's what the
- 9:29Speaker 1: windshield got. Let me tell you something, man, when you
- 9:32Speaker 1: see a mile signed, you're driving on the freeway, you're
- 9:34Speaker 1: on the interstate, and you let's say you're driv into
- 9:36Speaker 1: a particular city and you see a sign that says
- 9:39Speaker 1: that city is thirty eight hunting, thirty eight miles away,
- 9:44Speaker 1: that lets you know where you're going, and you're on
- 9:46Speaker 1: the right path now. If you keep looking in the
- 9:50Speaker 1: rear view mirror, you'll never know how close you are.
- 9:55Speaker 1: You'll never know because you're driving your car. Look in
- 9:58Speaker 1: the reverview mirror, you all on shoulder, You hear them
- 10:01Speaker 1: rocks up under your car. You have scared yourself to
- 10:03Speaker 1: death because you know why, because you keep looking in
- 10:06Speaker 1: the rear view mirror. Get out the rear view mirror.
- 10:10Speaker 1: If God got you through, it is done. Move on.
- 10:13Speaker 1: So what he so what? He don't love you know more?
- 10:19Speaker 1: And it was probably the best thing could have happened
- 10:23Speaker 1: to him. But guess what, he wasn't the best thing
- 10:26Speaker 1: that happened to you. So what you're sitting there man,
- 10:30Speaker 1: beating yourself up, self up fall like that's the end all.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Let me ask you a question. Who did God create?
- 10:37Speaker 1: Let me ask you this, Who has God created on
- 10:40Speaker 1: the faith of this earth, on the face of this earth,
- 10:44Speaker 1: that He has given power over you? What that in description?
- 10:49Speaker 1: Tell me the name of the person that was created
- 10:53Speaker 1: over on this earth that shall have domain over you.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Show me in the scripture any writing a person that
- 11:03Speaker 1: God created that should be the control of your destiny
- 11:07Speaker 1: and your happiness other than you and God. Please show
- 11:11Speaker 1: that to me, man, so I can go sit down
- 11:14Speaker 1: somewhere and quit talking. He don't exist. Now, if that
- 11:21Speaker 1: person don't exist, why do you keep creating this person?
- 11:25Speaker 1: Why you keep giving the power to somebody that God
- 11:28Speaker 1: didn't even give it to? So what he gone? You
- 11:32Speaker 1: wanted him? He was your world where you wasn't he though, Man,
- 11:36Speaker 1: Let's move on. If God got you through, it is done.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Move on. God got something for you. If you get
- 11:43Speaker 1: out your rear view mirror and get up in that windshield.
- 11:46Speaker 1: God's got something for your upp ahead. But you can't
- 11:50Speaker 1: see what's up ahead because you in that rear view mirror.
- 11:53Speaker 1: If God got you through, it is done. Let's move on.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Come on, y'all, don't let the past beat your up.
- 12:00Speaker 1: That's the ingredients in the cake. You didn't made that already.
- 12:05Speaker 1: That's done. Let's go God, look in the wind shield,
- 12:07Speaker 1: see what God Mobla got something new for you. If
- 12:10Speaker 1: you get out the rear view mirror and look over
- 12:12Speaker 1: up your eyes and see. All right, let's go Today.
- 12:15Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show eighteen minutes after
- 12:23Speaker 1: the hour eighteen. Here we are welcome to the ride
- 12:26Speaker 1: off Steve Harvey Morning show Man. Man up doing it?
- 12:37Speaker 1: Beat the Express, Come on and do it? Yeah, do
- 12:43Speaker 1: it to you satisfied? Whatever it is, Do it to
- 12:49Speaker 1: you satisfied. That ain't the melody, but that's the words. Yeah,
- 12:55Speaker 1: you're a little flowing melody. Yeah. I didn't want to
- 12:59Speaker 1: do the whole hadn't thought it out. I just blurted
- 13:01Speaker 1: it out. I ain't had time pick up meloy on
- 13:04Speaker 1: that one like that. Ain't how the song go with them?
- 13:06Speaker 1: The words though? What you're good this morning? Do it?
- 13:16Speaker 1: Do it to you satisfied? Whatever it is, go do it?
- 13:20Speaker 1: Do it to Come on and do we finally got
- 13:26Speaker 1: I didn't know who got the melody. You got the
- 13:28Speaker 1: melody right there? Young, You don't know. I'm I'm usually
- 13:35Speaker 1: mm hmm. I'll be all right to somebody say so
- 13:38Speaker 1: ignorant to me? Well, let me help you out there?
- 13:43Speaker 1: Used to you? Yeah? What did you do this morning? Pimp?
- 13:50Speaker 1: I worked out this morning? Yeah, we know, but I'm hurt.
- 13:55Speaker 1: How that big as Jim in your big house? Wow? Yeah?
- 14:04Speaker 1: How big is yo? Jim man down got signs on
- 14:07Speaker 1: it like you in public saw you working out on
- 14:12Speaker 1: your little alphamat mm hmmm. That it was his house,
- 14:26Speaker 1: that was in your house, that was not my house.
- 14:30Speaker 1: How much don't run on him? How much you got time?
- 14:33Speaker 1: You got money? Man? Ain't your big boy? No, I don't.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Human resources. Yeah, half rich or half riches, two months
- 14:47Speaker 1: away from messing it all up? Hey, check away from poverty. Huh.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Got to ask somebody, Yeah, hey, hey see, have you've
- 14:56Speaker 1: been watching the news lately? No that really wants well, uh,
- 15:03Speaker 1: this is just so crazy. Um, have you heard about
- 15:06Speaker 1: Bill O'Reilly and his insult to Congresswoman Maxine Waters. First
- 15:11Speaker 1: of all, I mean I wanted your take on that.
- 15:15Speaker 1: I mean, and then April Ryan, um, a journalist, a
- 15:20Speaker 1: reporter in the White House. Um, she kind of got chastise,
- 15:24Speaker 1: let's say, by Sean Spicer. But first of all, uh,
- 15:28Speaker 1: Bill O'Reilly, we all know he's from Fox News. He's
- 15:31Speaker 1: he seemed to criticize her. He did criticize representing Maxie
- 15:35Speaker 1: Representative Maxie Waters because of her appearance, comparing her hair
- 15:40Speaker 1: to James Brown Wig. You know, she was talking about
- 15:44Speaker 1: black people and their patriotism and and and things like that,
- 15:48Speaker 1: and Bill, Bill O'Reilly was asked about it, and he
- 15:51Speaker 1: said he couldn't hear words she was saying because he
- 15:54Speaker 1: was fixated on her. James brown Wig. First of all,
- 16:00Speaker 1: that's ignorant. That's an ignorant thing to say, especially from
- 16:05Speaker 1: a guy like that who's supposed to be about issues,
- 16:09Speaker 1: whose whole show is the No Spin Zone. So and
- 16:12Speaker 1: then sometimes, in uh, your attempt to be funny, you
- 16:18Speaker 1: also have to remember, as I have had to learn
- 16:22Speaker 1: that in this PC climate today, you can't say nothing
- 16:27Speaker 1: about nobody at no point in time now. Maxine Waters
- 16:32Speaker 1: is one of the great voices of public service for
- 16:37Speaker 1: for US. Maxine Waters has been one of the standout
- 16:42Speaker 1: voices for US for a long long time. She has
- 16:47Speaker 1: never forgotten a small man ever. Ever, her record is impeccable.
- 16:55Speaker 1: When they tried to come for her, they had to
- 16:57Speaker 1: go away. She was stood all that scrutiny a few
- 17:02Speaker 1: couple of years ago. The woman is on point. Yes,
- 17:09Speaker 1: Bill O'Reilly, but yeah, and he had to yeah, And
- 17:12Speaker 1: he had to because in his attempt to be funny,
- 17:18Speaker 1: I've learned you just can't do that. You can't do
- 17:20Speaker 1: that date day day. You can't say a damn thing
- 17:23Speaker 1: no more. I know. And then later and then vaccine
- 17:27Speaker 1: Waters is always fly. You see how it fits somewhere. Yeah,
- 17:39Speaker 1: when when our show originated from California, from l A,
- 17:42Speaker 1: when she would come on the show to visit, she
- 17:45Speaker 1: was always impeccably dressed, beautiful. I mean, you know, just
- 17:49Speaker 1: such a brilliant, intelligent woman. And they're mad because she's
- 17:53Speaker 1: called for the impeachment of our current president Donald Trump.
- 17:58Speaker 1: And she did that what two weeks two weeks in
- 18:03Speaker 1: to his term. And I mean, you know, look, I mean, look, man,
- 18:06Speaker 1: when you ain't got nothing else to say about a
- 18:09Speaker 1: person except now you're gonna come after they appeared, that's
- 18:13Speaker 1: that's not real savvy. He apologized. I heard, Yeah, yeah,
- 18:19Speaker 1: he kind of chuckled even with the apologies, like, I'm sorry,
- 18:23Speaker 1: you know about you know, somebody didn't hear that. I
- 18:26Speaker 1: just read it. I didn't hear, okay. And then in
- 18:29Speaker 1: a press briefing later, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer,
- 18:35Speaker 1: who's always seems to be on edge about something, he's
- 18:39Speaker 1: defensive about everything. Uh now, April Ryan, she's a reporter.
- 18:45Speaker 1: He told her to please stop shaking her head again.
- 18:47Speaker 1: She brought up the whole Russia thing. And you know,
- 18:50Speaker 1: she was asking him questions about that, and um, and
- 18:54Speaker 1: she kind of, you know, she kind of put her
- 18:56Speaker 1: head down and I guess shook it a little bit,
- 18:58Speaker 1: and he was like, please stop shaking your head. You know,
- 19:02Speaker 1: wait a minute, now, I'm a grown woman. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 19:08Speaker 1: I can disagree with you. Yeah. Now, isn't April Ryan.
- 19:14Speaker 1: She's always at the White House briefings. She she's the
- 19:17Speaker 1: same one that President Trump asked her if she knew
- 19:20Speaker 1: anyone in the Black Caucus because she set up a meeting. Yes, back, yeah,
- 19:27Speaker 1: she does have a book. Um, House correspondent for a
- 19:32Speaker 1: long time, A long time, long time. I mean they
- 19:35Speaker 1: even got Hillary Clinton to chime in on these two things. Uh,
- 19:39Speaker 1: you know, just saying that. Um, it's a case of
- 19:43Speaker 1: everyday sexism. Women have to deal with structural barriers all
- 19:48Speaker 1: of that. So we'll get into it a little later
- 19:50Speaker 1: this morning, I'm sure. But um, just craziness going on,
- 19:55Speaker 1: you know, all right, when we come back from the
- 19:57Speaker 1: break at thirty four after the hours, Steve Harvey's something
- 20:01Speaker 1: funny coming up. You're listening, Steve Harvey, Well, here we go,
- 20:07Speaker 1: coming up during the next thirty something funny. Um, I
- 20:11Speaker 1: don't know. They got to write a room. Y'all working
- 20:13Speaker 1: on something. We'll be right back, coming in again. You're
- 20:16Speaker 1: gonna leave it again, Yeah, and it's getting on my nerve.
- 20:27Speaker 1: All right, we're back. What is it that boy? I
- 20:33Speaker 1: don't like how your hand us? Uh? Oh he handed
- 20:36Speaker 1: you got me? Okay, So let me answer this on.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Just tell me if I'm right. You know there's a
- 20:43Speaker 1: number two pencil right now? Shouldn't have number two pencil
- 20:48Speaker 1: the number one because it's the most popular. You don't
- 20:53Speaker 1: even know where to buy number one pence? Am I right? Aroung?
- 20:58Speaker 1: Now the number two pencil is really should be the
- 21:02Speaker 1: number one pence? Why is it number two? Mm hmm yeah,
- 21:09Speaker 1: And then he hangs up on me, wouldn't you? Because
- 21:13Speaker 1: way I got time to figure out if number two
- 21:15Speaker 1: is really more popular than number one? Time. Well, it's
- 21:19Speaker 1: the question I asked you, junior. I asked you, why
- 21:22Speaker 1: is it that number two don't get the respect? Why
- 21:25Speaker 1: is number two number two when number two should be
- 21:27Speaker 1: really number one? Because number one you don't even know
- 21:30Speaker 1: where to buy number one. So I'm asking you why
- 21:32Speaker 1: number two eight number one? You're gonna sit here and
- 21:35Speaker 1: go ahead, you know how many bills I got on
- 21:37Speaker 1: my table timing. Huh, you know what I mean? Bill,
- 21:41Speaker 1: you're my stuff I'm paying for, Junior. This is what
- 21:45Speaker 1: you call philosophy. We here just philosophering. How old are you? Who?
- 21:54Speaker 1: What that's got to do with the number two pence?
- 21:59Speaker 1: Why are you overs up? And what we're talking about?
- 22:00Speaker 1: We're talking about the number two pencils, version number one.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Whenever you use the number one pencier. I've never used
- 22:08Speaker 1: the number one piences except you've always used the number two.
- 22:14Speaker 1: They're not in drafting the mechanical drawing you what kind
- 22:18Speaker 1: of pience did you use? Number one? They had that?
- 22:24Speaker 1: Don't make that one most popular, Junior, is what I'm saying. Well,
- 22:28Speaker 1: you're not gonna lisk my words, boy, I said asked
- 22:32Speaker 1: you The reason I asked you how all you was
- 22:34Speaker 1: because in May, when you turned fifty, you will be
- 22:39Speaker 1: the number one dumbest fifty year old all time. That
- 22:44Speaker 1: is a promise, not running the escaping that because there
- 22:48Speaker 1: ain't nobody else fifty wondering about this. But you, yep,
- 22:54Speaker 1: I don't know nobody with no mechanical pencils. First of all,
- 22:59Speaker 1: I don't know where you pick can them up in?
- 23:00Speaker 1: And when was you drafted? You ain't never said, and
- 23:03Speaker 1: it drew nothing. Now you're gonna sit in here and
- 23:05Speaker 1: jumping here. Tell me you had a number one pence?
- 23:07Speaker 1: How long ago was that at that time that you
- 23:10Speaker 1: had a number one pencil. I'm actually pretty good at
- 23:13Speaker 1: mechanical rooms. I'm gonna say this. I can actually I
- 23:19Speaker 1: can actually make a blueprint. That's fine. I'm glad you
- 23:23Speaker 1: can do that. Good for you do with this number
- 23:27Speaker 1: two pencil. That's so every schoolhouse across the country. Well, actually,
- 23:32Speaker 1: well let me give you an example. Go ahead and say, Colin,
- 23:35Speaker 1: what is that? Shut up? When we're doing right and wrong?
- 23:40Speaker 1: Don't you get in here and get in between? That
- 23:43Speaker 1: starting to sound like Sean Spicer at the White House.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Don't you here, Hey Tommy, what was it a number
- 23:51Speaker 1: two pencil or number one pencil that you wrote the
- 23:55Speaker 1: world famous who stole proper rate money? I get ready
- 24:03Speaker 1: to ignorance continues. We're gonna run that brank back when
- 24:07Speaker 1: we come back. I got eras. Yeah, you're listening Steve
- 24:15Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Here we go coming up at top
- 24:22Speaker 1: of that. I'm just saying, I'm gonna be here with
- 24:23Speaker 1: today's national headlines, including the latest developments on the White House,
- 24:30Speaker 1: plus folks still mad at Bill O'Reilly and the White
- 24:32Speaker 1: House Press Secretary Sean Spicson for disrespecting black women. But
- 24:38Speaker 1: up next, tell me gonna run that prank back? Your
- 24:41Speaker 1: daughter beat my son? Just from tell them beating my son,
- 24:47Speaker 1: it gonna be a problem. Shut up like you didn't
- 24:54Speaker 1: have a number. One comes, I just ask you one.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Don't do for lots of things? Oh no, please hello, hello,
- 25:03Speaker 1: m speak this is look do you do you do
- 25:10Speaker 1: your daughter go to the little academy? Yes? And her
- 25:14Speaker 1: name is Yes? Who's this? Listen? Your daughter and bit
- 25:18Speaker 1: my son? Uh, Joshua want on the back? This is Wilson,
- 25:23Speaker 1: your daughter and bit my son down. You can't just
- 25:27Speaker 1: call my house and tell me my daughter bay and
- 25:29Speaker 1: be cussing at me. Lady. I just said, your daughter
- 25:33Speaker 1: Secura bit my son Joshua in the back. And I
- 25:36Speaker 1: just said no two things. One my daughter wouldn't bite nobody,
- 25:39Speaker 1: and too, don't call my house with this tone. I
- 25:42Speaker 1: called with any kind of tone when I want to
- 25:44Speaker 1: call with all I'm saying is your daughter then bait
- 25:47Speaker 1: my son in the back. And I'm gonna tell you.
- 25:49Speaker 1: All I'm saying is, don't call my house with this
- 25:53Speaker 1: to saying something that my daughter beat your child in
- 25:56Speaker 1: the back. My daughter has manners and she wouldn't be
- 25:58Speaker 1: biting nobody in the back. You know, somebody, how the
- 26:03Speaker 1: hell you know what your daughter gonna be doing? If
- 26:04Speaker 1: you ain't there my daughter, you're raised, She ain't your son.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Are you just come in one month and trying to
- 26:12Speaker 1: do some kind of daddy work? But four years old?
- 26:15Speaker 1: How nails? You? Don't you know how that? Damn well,
- 26:18Speaker 1: I've been with her for four years. You being my
- 26:20Speaker 1: daughter does not be biting people around in the back
- 26:22Speaker 1: of the neck or anything like that. What the hell
- 26:25Speaker 1: is wrong with you? Don't call my house where I
- 26:28Speaker 1: get who? I don't you figure I'm a weekend daddy.
- 26:31Speaker 1: I'm calling you about what's going on with my child.
- 26:34Speaker 1: But I don't think you got your back straight. So
- 26:36Speaker 1: next time you call somebody to tell him about the chill,
- 26:39Speaker 1: figure out everything about your child. First. All I'm saying
- 26:43Speaker 1: is that the people at the academy said secure my
- 26:46Speaker 1: son Joshua were in the back. Well, I can't understand
- 26:49Speaker 1: she's saying, because I don't like your tongue, So don't
- 26:51Speaker 1: call me about my baby. Have her mama called me?
- 26:55Speaker 1: It don't make no difference if a mama or daddy
- 26:57Speaker 1: called along with somebody, call hello, call her back? Hello?
- 27:02Speaker 1: Is this Carol? This is Why are you hanging up
- 27:05Speaker 1: on me? Why are you still calling me? And why
- 27:07Speaker 1: are you yelling at me? My child didn't bite your
- 27:11Speaker 1: child in the back. When I picked up my child,
- 27:12Speaker 1: they didn't say to me your child is body in
- 27:14Speaker 1: the back? My child my child every day. Like I
- 27:18Speaker 1: said in the first lady, you must be some kind
- 27:20Speaker 1: of weekend daddy. How you know my child? I'm with
- 27:23Speaker 1: my child every day. How you are you? I'm with
- 27:26Speaker 1: my I don't even know who Joshua is. She should
- 27:29Speaker 1: have just hit him in the head. Ain't what you
- 27:31Speaker 1: ain't gonna do with city and talk about my baby? Now?
- 27:34Speaker 1: You asked me to lower my child. You know what
- 27:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna do. I'm gonna hang up one moment. Hello
- 27:41Speaker 1: Hello called call her back? Cat Hello, don't hang up
- 27:48Speaker 1: on me no more. Lay again. I'm gonna call you
- 27:52Speaker 1: until you tell me why you your child is just
- 27:55Speaker 1: bite my child in the back. I am not in
- 27:57Speaker 1: the mood to play with you right now. You're gonna
- 27:59Speaker 1: mess you to get you and your child. You and
- 28:02Speaker 1: your child work. You don't whoa whoa, whoa. Guess what
- 28:06Speaker 1: Shaquira got her daddy? You're talking about whipping somebody here.
- 28:09Speaker 1: Daddy's else to say. You can't call my house and
- 28:13Speaker 1: threatened me and my job. If my child beat up child,
- 28:16Speaker 1: well that's what your child deserved. He got. Whoops, daughter
- 28:20Speaker 1: whooped your son? This? Molly want me to laught tryning
- 28:23Speaker 1: the little fast not in those kids get this. Don't
- 28:26Speaker 1: be talking about when the fake fact she didn't bite
- 28:30Speaker 1: him in the back. She might have worked, but my
- 28:33Speaker 1: daughter don't play now, keep talking. You found my phone number,
- 28:39Speaker 1: find my address and have kids. Daddy beat you. I said,
- 28:44Speaker 1: bring your over again my babies. Mina care with your babies.
- 28:49Speaker 1: My baby, daddy gonna whoop you. Bring it on. I'm
- 28:51Speaker 1: coming over there and beat you and your child. You
- 28:54Speaker 1: don't call a woman and telling you coming over and
- 28:56Speaker 1: behind a child. You come over here and beat her.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Daddy's to come over here and be shakis did he don't?
- 29:02Speaker 1: He don't want none to me, you don't want it.
- 29:05Speaker 1: I'm ow my way overout nothing. Bring somebody gonna get
- 29:09Speaker 1: take daddy. He ain't got no damn job. He got
- 29:16Speaker 1: a job. Y'all gonna make me come over that a night.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Bring it on right now? Do you know what I'm
- 29:21Speaker 1: gonna tell you? Selling up to tell me something else?
- 29:24Speaker 1: You're gonna get bit and your baby gonna get bit too.
- 29:27Speaker 1: You don't bite and my baby gonna whoop? Yo? Can
- 29:31Speaker 1: I say something to you? Say something to me, nephew
- 29:34Speaker 1: timing from the Steve Harvard Morning Show. You just got prank. Oh,
- 29:43Speaker 1: I have shame, just got pranking. Your sister Glenda said,
- 29:52Speaker 1: give me. She said get She said you always till
- 29:55Speaker 1: never give me that when happened to me. You call
- 30:00Speaker 1: somebody talking about baby, That's that's where it killman. Don't
- 30:09Speaker 1: don't call nobody. But you got my hearth hearted. Look.
- 30:13Speaker 1: Can I ask you something? Let me ask you something.
- 30:15Speaker 1: What if the baddest radio show in the land, Steve
- 30:19Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You stupid and most stupid, But we're
- 30:24Speaker 1: gonna be stupid somewhere? Come said that, Junior. Please tell
- 30:28Speaker 1: them where we come. We're going to the township by
- 30:31Speaker 1: the tour. But to love me South Carolina, Aby Food's
- 30:33Speaker 1: Night Southern Fran com to do. What's you're talking about?
- 30:35Speaker 1: Tell them they already know. Get your tickets. They don't
- 30:38Speaker 1: see you written. Now that's Southern for that Southern f
- 30:42Speaker 1: South Caca lak and come only and then get your
- 30:44Speaker 1: Southern proud on Southern Brad. You don't want to. You're
- 30:47Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Show. Hey, Steve, we are
- 30:53Speaker 1: still mad or furious. We're really upset a Bill O'Riley
- 30:56Speaker 1: and Sean Spicer uh. Fox News host Bill Riley's said
- 31:00Speaker 1: Tuesday that he didn't hear a word Representative Maxine Waters, Congress,
- 31:05Speaker 1: and Waters said uh during recent comments on the House
- 31:08Speaker 1: floor because he was focused on the James Brown wig
- 31:12Speaker 1: she was wearing. O'Reilly later apologized for his comments. I
- 31:15Speaker 1: know this is so ugly, calling the remark about the
- 31:18Speaker 1: James Brown wig dumb. If you missed Maxine waters response
- 31:22Speaker 1: to Bill O'Reilly, take a listen to this. Come on, congresswoman.
- 31:27Speaker 1: I'm a strong black woman and I cannot be intimidated,
- 31:31Speaker 1: I cannot be undermined. I cannot be thought to be
- 31:36Speaker 1: a friend of Bill O'Reilly or anybody. And I'd like
- 31:40Speaker 1: to say to women out there everywhere. Don't allow these
- 31:45Speaker 1: right wing talking heads, these dishonorable people to intimidate you
- 31:50Speaker 1: or scare you. Be who you are, do what you do,
- 31:54Speaker 1: and let us get on with discussing the real issues
- 31:58Speaker 1: of this country. Bill Riley and Roger Els have no credibility. Uh,
- 32:05Speaker 1: they have been sued by women. They have had to
- 32:08Speaker 1: pay millions of dollars out in fines for harassment and
- 32:12Speaker 1: other kinds of things. And so we know about that
- 32:15Speaker 1: checker pass. And we also know that when a woman
- 32:19Speaker 1: stands up and speaks truth to power, that there will
- 32:22Speaker 1: be attempts to put her down. And so I'm not
- 32:26Speaker 1: going to be put down. I'm not going to go anywhere.
- 32:30Speaker 1: I'm going to stay on the issues. Thank you, applause.
- 32:37Speaker 1: You know, um, all of what she said is very true,
- 32:41Speaker 1: and so you know what we have to do is
- 32:45Speaker 1: we have to keep up, keep up the good fight,
- 32:47Speaker 1: and we have to fight this fight from several angles. Um.
- 32:52Speaker 1: And what she's doing is exactly right. You're not gonna
- 32:55Speaker 1: throw her off track of what the issue is. And
- 32:59Speaker 1: what we have to be conscious of is let's not
- 33:02Speaker 1: make such a big deal out of the hair and
- 33:05Speaker 1: stay on the issue. Because she didn't handle the hair.
- 33:08Speaker 1: The woman is absolutely class. That's she is one class.
- 33:14Speaker 1: She is always appropriate, reach appropriately dressed, and always well presented.
- 33:21Speaker 1: I ain't never seen high to lot. Ever, I don't
- 33:23Speaker 1: even know what he's talking about. So when you hear
- 33:25Speaker 1: a person like that, look, when a person is digging
- 33:28Speaker 1: off in your behind, all you got is your breath.
- 33:32Speaker 1: Stin't what my breath? No, no, actually, what's coming out
- 33:39Speaker 1: of my mouth? It's what you're doing. That's what staks
- 33:42Speaker 1: see and and you you know, you know when you
- 33:45Speaker 1: when you hit the bully too hard, they don't, they don't.
- 33:49Speaker 1: They're gonna come back with some mixed Stop shaking your head,
- 33:53Speaker 1: Stop shaking my head? Are we down to that? So
- 33:58Speaker 1: what happens is a lot of people's frustration comes out
- 34:03Speaker 1: in very immature and childlike way. So now you're gonna
- 34:07Speaker 1: call a woman a name because she nailing your ways.
- 34:12Speaker 1: I love what what Hillary Clinton said as well. Um
- 34:16Speaker 1: she said these women were simply doing their job. She
- 34:20Speaker 1: was speaking at the Professional Business Women of California conference
- 34:23Speaker 1: in San Francisco yesterday. She said too many women, especially
- 34:27Speaker 1: women of color, have had a lifetime of practice taking
- 34:30Speaker 1: precisely these kinds of indignities and stride, But why should
- 34:35Speaker 1: we have to And any woman who thinks this couldn't
- 34:38Speaker 1: be directed at her is living in a dream world.
- 34:42Speaker 1: So true. But you know these cats, I'm telling you, man,
- 34:46Speaker 1: these sexual harassment lawsuits to get brushed under the rug.
- 34:50Speaker 1: It happens, man, Oh yeah, it happens, and it's very
- 34:54Speaker 1: very real, and they've done a masterful job of masking it.
- 34:59Speaker 1: But it is what is, you know, And so you know,
- 35:03Speaker 1: everybody's got something they're dealing with. But the name calling,
- 35:09Speaker 1: the name calling, you know, it's like Don Imus and
- 35:13Speaker 1: you're you're you're a reporter, you're a journalist. You know,
- 35:16Speaker 1: better listen to me. They meant at the end of
- 35:23Speaker 1: the day, when they get comfortable, they're gonna say what
- 35:26Speaker 1: men say. Same thing Donald Trump did when he was
- 35:30Speaker 1: on that bus with Billy Bush skipped. He a billionaire,
- 35:34Speaker 1: he didn't know he's gonna run for president. He's on
- 35:37Speaker 1: that bus saying what he wanted to say, just up
- 35:40Speaker 1: there saying what he wanted to say. Comfortable, Billy Bush,
- 35:43Speaker 1: do not Billy Bush lose his job for he didn't
- 35:48Speaker 1: say it. The other man is the president, all right?
- 35:55Speaker 1: Introduced Mr Andy, we'll leave on that note right there,
- 36:00Speaker 1: group together, ladies and gentlemen. Here she is the lovely
- 36:05Speaker 1: and talented miss A Trip Yes, thank you, yes, and
- 36:10Speaker 1: uh on that note, yes, okay, we go to the news.
- 36:13Speaker 1: This is answered for the news. Everybody in Washington to send.
- 36:16Speaker 1: Intelligence Committee is scheduled to hold this first public hearing today. Now,
- 36:20Speaker 1: this is the Senate, of course, on Russia's possible meddling
- 36:23Speaker 1: in our election. The committee's ranking Democrat is Senator Mark Warner,
- 36:26Speaker 1: who says the committee is going to be seeking as
- 36:28Speaker 1: much information as possible. We cannot tell the American people
- 36:32Speaker 1: our conclusions unless we have access to all the pertinent information.
- 36:36Speaker 1: And one of the things that I really appreciate is
- 36:39Speaker 1: that the chairman I have committed to getting them, and
- 36:41Speaker 1: the panel's GOP chairman agree, saying that the probe is
- 36:43Speaker 1: going to be thoroughly bipartisan and that the committee will
- 36:46Speaker 1: be looking at all the activities that Moscow might have
- 36:49Speaker 1: been involved into either alter or influence our election. Meanwhile,
- 36:52Speaker 1: in the House, this week's schedule hearings have been postponed.
- 36:56Speaker 1: As Intelligence Committee chairman, they have Devin Nunez keeps resisting
- 36:59Speaker 1: calls for him to stay down. Democrats say Nunez has
- 37:01Speaker 1: shown himself to be unable to lead an impartial investigation.
- 37:04Speaker 1: He's too much in the pocket, they say, of the
- 37:06Speaker 1: of President Trump. Okay, Fox News is in the news again,
- 37:10Speaker 1: and for the second time this week. Yesterday, Yes, we
- 37:12Speaker 1: heard about host Bill O'Reilly's condescending remark about Congressman Maxine
- 37:16Speaker 1: Waters and her hairstyle. Didn't I was looking at the
- 37:21Speaker 1: James Brown wig. Yeah, besides the fact that James Brown
- 37:23Speaker 1: didn't wear wigs, dummy. And also that miss Waters, our congressman,
- 37:27Speaker 1: is always well co off, and today we find her.
- 37:30Speaker 1: The two black female Fox employees are suing Fox, claiming
- 37:33Speaker 1: they were subjected to a racially insensitive work environment there
- 37:36Speaker 1: for years, that a white female boss of them would
- 37:39Speaker 1: say she was afraid of black people and and make
- 37:42Speaker 1: say the black people mispronounced words and make them practice
- 37:44Speaker 1: words out loud and stuff like that, mocking the Black
- 37:47Speaker 1: Lives movement, asking one woman with more than one child
- 37:50Speaker 1: if all the children were by the same man. This woman,
- 37:52Speaker 1: Judah Slater, has since been fired me while the right
- 37:55Speaker 1: wing network still dealing with the legal fallout from last
- 37:58Speaker 1: summer's forced a parture of the ALT former CEO Roger Ales,
- 38:02Speaker 1: and that was over sexual harassment charges. Sand News. In Texas,
- 38:05Speaker 1: a small church bus carrying senior sistants home from a
- 38:08Speaker 1: prairie retreat collided with a pickup in San Antonio yesterday.
- 38:11Speaker 1: Thirteen people were killed. The victims were from the First
- 38:14Speaker 1: Baptist Church in New Braunfield. Only one person who board
- 38:17Speaker 1: the bus survived. That person in critical condition. The driver
- 38:20Speaker 1: of the pickup listed in stable condition. Singer George Michael
- 38:23Speaker 1: finally laid to rest this week, three months after his
- 38:26Speaker 1: passing and was in London. He's buried next to his mom,
- 38:28Speaker 1: who died around twenty years ago. Authority see the cause
- 38:31Speaker 1: of death listed as dilated cardio miopathy, a condition they
- 38:34Speaker 1: say usually caused by inflammation which is caused by a
- 38:37Speaker 1: viral infection of some sort. And today National Doctor's Day,
- 38:41Speaker 1: National I'm in Control Day, and National take a Walk
- 38:44Speaker 1: in the Park Days O O O. And this is
- 38:57Speaker 1: an trip on the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up
- 39:00Speaker 1: at eighteen after the hour. The Butterfly is up next
- 39:04Speaker 1: with a butterfly blog. I think it's a butterfly or
- 39:06Speaker 1: is it open? You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 39:11Speaker 1: Here we go, ladies and gentlemen. We don't know what's
- 39:14Speaker 1: going on. Is it Eugene, is it oatmeal? Is it
- 39:17Speaker 1: the blog? Is it a flog? We don't know. He's
- 39:25Speaker 1: a step Good morning everyone, Stephen, Timmy, Shirley Corllege Jr.

- 39:41Speaker 1: are on this show? That out now? So you didn't
- 39:44Speaker 1: come prepared right there? Ain't prepared? But you know, hey,
- 39:54Speaker 1: oh faithful, if you need me the blood something, I'm

- 40:45Speaker 1: we really want to make this a social media thing
- 40:49Speaker 1: and let them let the people vote. Let's go to
- 40:54Speaker 1: the phone. Eight seven seven twenty nine. Let's go to
- 40:59Speaker 1: the phones. Call us right now the rest of the

- 41:29Speaker 1: gotta see the result or hear don't cry whatever happens,
- 41:36Speaker 1: and do not on the real life. I really think
- 41:39Speaker 1: I got a conclusion of how we could do this
- 41:42Speaker 1: when you ain't even got to hear them bows. I
- 41:44Speaker 1: don't want abody to get any hoard break or whatever.
- 41:46Speaker 1: I'm just saying I got. I think I know how
- 41:47Speaker 1: we could do what you're thinking, Old Meal, because it
- 41:50Speaker 1: could be something similar out look at you. First of all,
- 41:53Speaker 1: this is what he see me for. So what I'm thinking,
- 41:56Speaker 1: mrs Or let him do Mondy Wind but o'mea do
- 42:01Speaker 1: Tues and oh m hmm. That's something. So we wouldn't
- 42:08Speaker 1: have to hear him every day. Huh. I mean so
- 42:10Speaker 1: he would have alternate days. Huh? Why would I share
- 42:13Speaker 1: my Tuesday and Thursday? Right now? Right right, I try
- 42:20Speaker 1: to get a new make it worry for both can
- 42:24Speaker 1: do a little. So your dream hard to give up
- 42:28Speaker 1: his segment, I understand, but your dream, I think your
- 42:30Speaker 1: popularity has really slid over the passion and the half
- 42:35Speaker 1: My popularity has not sleeping. People love me. I have
- 42:38Speaker 1: a very good public and they come out and see
- 42:40Speaker 1: me when we do showers. What are you talking about?
- 42:43Speaker 1: Anybody asked you to do no strip a letter every
- 42:45Speaker 1: other day? Are we gonna have to Are we gonna
- 42:48Speaker 1: have to wait till tomorrow to get the final resource? Well,
- 42:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you right now. The votes is really
- 42:52Speaker 1: in and it's not really favorable for everybody. Stopped shaking
- 42:56Speaker 1: your heads because it's time to go and we don't
- 42:59Speaker 1: know the vote yet. I guess we'll have to wait
- 43:01Speaker 1: to tune in tomorrow. Well, here it is. I'm just
- 43:04Speaker 1: gonna say this before I reveal it tomorrow. The votes
- 43:08Speaker 1: are in and it's heavily unfavorable for one of you.
- 43:13Speaker 1: And so I don't know if it should take the
- 43:16Speaker 1: deal that Old Meal made and have a Monday, Wednesday
- 43:20Speaker 1: Fried to Eugene, Tuesday and Thursday Old Mill or if
- 43:25Speaker 1: the fans have voted for Eugene, then Old meals out.
- 43:28Speaker 1: But if they voted for Old Meal, didn't pose I
- 43:33Speaker 1: read and I want to recount fake news, alternative facts.
- 43:40Speaker 1: We gotta go tomorrow. Is it, folks? You're listening ste
- 43:50Speaker 1: thirty folk minutes after the hour. It is what it is?
- 43:55Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. It is what it is?
- 44:00Speaker 1: What it you? I questioned a week Uh, do you
- 44:05Speaker 1: have someone that you jealous of? M m? And why
- 44:10Speaker 1: see anybody you jealous of? Tommy? Mm hmm. You ain't
- 44:15Speaker 1: an answer the question all week? Man, you want to
- 44:17Speaker 1: just keep on dancing around. Answer anybody else comes answering
- 44:23Speaker 1: me what you do? You maybe call us and tell
- 44:35Speaker 1: us to you're jealous of and never admitted. Okay, let's
- 44:38Speaker 1: go to line seven. Cat and talked to Brittany out
- 44:41Speaker 1: of California. Guys, So, Brittany, is anybody that you're jealous
- 44:47Speaker 1: of or anybody your kids look to look up to? Well,
- 44:50Speaker 1: thank the Lord, I don't have no kids. Kids are
- 44:52Speaker 1: a blessing, but I don't have any of those right now.
- 44:55Speaker 1: But I wouldn't say I was a jealous person until
- 44:58Speaker 1: I moved to l A. And it's not necessarily a person,
- 45:02Speaker 1: but a people white privilege. I didn't get jealous until
- 45:06Speaker 1: I moved out here because I'm from the Midwest. I'm
- 45:08Speaker 1: from a country time. It's not too many white people
- 45:10Speaker 1: out there, so I only time I heard about white privilege.
- 45:13Speaker 1: Who wont TV now out here? Oh honey, that's a
- 45:16Speaker 1: different thing. I see it every day. Jealous. I'm light skinned,
- 45:19Speaker 1: but I'm not that light so I can't pass. But
- 45:22Speaker 1: white privilege out here something. Now, You've go ahead, temmy,
- 45:32Speaker 1: Like we can't confessions to me. I love, I love
- 45:37Speaker 1: being black, I love everything about being African American, honey.
- 45:41Speaker 1: But white privilege is real and it is rampant out here, honey.
- 45:44Speaker 1: Like I mean, but can I ask you a questions? Seriously? Thought,
- 45:48Speaker 1: what do you mean by that? When you save white privilege?
- 45:50Speaker 1: What what do you mean? Well, I was gonna give you,
- 45:53Speaker 1: Thank the Lord. I've been blessed enough to work at
- 45:55Speaker 1: a couple of prestigious places out here. So I've been around,
- 45:58Speaker 1: you know, a couple of influence to people in the conversations.
- 46:01Speaker 1: Just being a fly on the wall. This guy said,
- 46:04Speaker 1: my father when I graduated from high school, he gave
- 46:07Speaker 1: me two options. Either you can take this money and
- 46:09Speaker 1: make a movie, or you can go to college. Those
- 46:12Speaker 1: were his options, make a movie or go to college.
- 46:17Speaker 1: I have to go to college and get a job.
- 46:18Speaker 1: All I know, I was getting off the house. But
- 46:20Speaker 1: it's just stuff like that, is just the options that
- 46:23Speaker 1: they have, and it's it's it's I don't know, it's surreal.
- 46:26Speaker 1: Sometimes like well, I don't feel like working the job anymore.
- 46:30Speaker 1: So I'm gonna go backpack across the South to France
- 46:32Speaker 1: and my father is gonna pay for everything, and it's okay.
- 46:34Speaker 1: I can work for his company when I get back here.
- 46:37Speaker 1: Never seen anything like it, but I see it everything,
- 46:40Speaker 1: And I'm gonna tell you something. We've got to create
- 46:43Speaker 1: those type of options and opportunities. That's what I think,
- 46:48Speaker 1: that's what I get from it. Said again, Steve, say
- 46:51Speaker 1: that again. I said, I think that we have to
- 46:54Speaker 1: create these types of options for our children because it
- 46:58Speaker 1: is available to all of of us to provide this Now, generationally,
- 47:04Speaker 1: we've had some problems over the years, and I do
- 47:06Speaker 1: understand that full well. I'm sixty years old, trust and believe,
- 47:12Speaker 1: I've seen every side of racism, every side of biggot tree.
- 47:19Speaker 1: I've I've seen people who hate you because of the
- 47:23Speaker 1: colored skin. I've met a lot of people got no
- 47:25Speaker 1: problem with you because of the color day skined. So
- 47:28Speaker 1: I've taken it as an opportunity to learn and to
- 47:32Speaker 1: duplicate that process so I can begin a new generation
- 47:37Speaker 1: where my children have some options. I want my grandchildren
- 47:42Speaker 1: to have options like that, you can take this money
- 47:46Speaker 1: and go to college, or you can make a movie.
- 47:48Speaker 1: I really want to create that opportunity for Roles and
- 47:51Speaker 1: Noah and all and b J. Now, that's what I
- 47:54Speaker 1: wanna do. And I hope that they have those types
- 47:57Speaker 1: of options when I get through work. I really I
- 48:00Speaker 1: want them to know what that is, because, man, we
- 48:04Speaker 1: should not require that our children struggle like we do. Yeah,
- 48:10Speaker 1: and that's all we know. Yeah, that's all we know.
- 48:13Speaker 1: And there you know, it's like institutionalized welfare people who
- 48:18Speaker 1: teach it to their children. You're listening to Steve Harvey
- 48:22Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, here we go y'all coming up
- 48:27Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. We got strawberry letter book. Nephew,
- 48:30Speaker 1: what you got food? I got a big dog. Let's
- 48:33Speaker 1: go out to all them cheer leaders out there and
- 48:35Speaker 1: chill lead them. Mom. This is called bottom Mother Appear Bottom, Mother,
- 48:41Speaker 1: appear me. Hello, Hello, Hello, can you hear me? I'm
- 49:00Speaker 1: trying to reach Angela and on just a second, let
- 49:03Speaker 1: me count it down. Okay, Hi, how are you trying
- 49:08Speaker 1: to reach I'm trying to reach Angela. This is Angela.
- 49:10Speaker 1: Oh yeah, this hi angel This is Chip Chip. I'm
- 49:14Speaker 1: the new camp director for the cheerleading camp for the summer.
- 49:17Speaker 1: Oh hi, Kimp, what can I do for you? I
- 49:19Speaker 1: just wanted to give your courtesy call your daughter. You
- 49:22Speaker 1: got her signed up for four weeks with the camp,
- 49:25Speaker 1: right yeah. Yeah. This is your guys third year being
- 49:29Speaker 1: a part of the camp, yep and she's really excited.
- 49:31Speaker 1: She loved coming to the camp and we think it's
- 49:34Speaker 1: a great thing for how to be involved in. What's that? Okay?
- 49:36Speaker 1: You guys just finished the whole cheerleading season two? Am
- 49:39Speaker 1: I right? The competition season? Yes, that's coming off of that,
- 49:43Speaker 1: right right? Okay, Well we're getting ready for the summer,
- 49:45Speaker 1: and everybody's excited about coming out and being a part
- 49:48Speaker 1: of what's going on. So here's what I wanted to
- 49:50Speaker 1: give you a little bit. Like I said, I'm the
- 49:52Speaker 1: new camp director. I was just starting at this job.
- 49:55Speaker 1: I got a few notes that that we're given to
- 49:58Speaker 1: me about about, so I wanted to give you a
- 50:02Speaker 1: call and see if I could talk to you about it.
- 50:04Speaker 1: A few notes given to you about Yeah, just a
- 50:06Speaker 1: couple of notes. I don't think it's anything that we
- 50:07Speaker 1: can't make sure it's okay. What kind of note. Well,
- 50:10Speaker 1: it's been brought to my attention that some of the
- 50:12Speaker 1: parents whose daughters are out there as well, there's gonna
- 50:15Speaker 1: be there this summer a little concerned about her being
- 50:19Speaker 1: on top of the pyramid, that she's uh is feeling
- 50:24Speaker 1: a little heavy, should she uh wait wait wait wait
- 50:27Speaker 1: wait wait wait wait wait wait wait ho ho ho?
- 50:30Speaker 1: You calling me about some some other parents and said
- 50:33Speaker 1: about how big my child is or how much my
- 50:37Speaker 1: child ways, if that was what I wanted to let
- 50:40Speaker 1: you know, was we're gonna put as a base. Oh no,
- 50:46Speaker 1: you ain't gonna put no bake. I don't not relicate
- 50:48Speaker 1: my money, and what you say your name is Chip,
- 50:52Speaker 1: and um, how long have you been the director? Because
- 50:53Speaker 1: I was just up there two weeks ago and they
- 50:56Speaker 1: told me that she was gonna be the same position
- 50:59Speaker 1: that she would last year, because that is what worked,
- 51:01Speaker 1: that's the formation that works. So I don't even know
- 51:03Speaker 1: what the world Supposedly that some of the girls are
- 51:06Speaker 1: complaining that she's too heavy to hold up. So that's
- 51:09Speaker 1: what seems to be the problem in there. They're not
- 51:11Speaker 1: getting a strong enough pier man. And wait a minute,
- 51:14Speaker 1: wait a minute, I know, well she ain't the biggest
- 51:17Speaker 1: one I fell. If you been myself, My child is
- 51:20Speaker 1: not the biggest child. I tell women, because honestly, you
- 51:23Speaker 1: have not seen these hills. And if somebody's so most
- 51:26Speaker 1: I felt, Okay, hang on a second, Angela, I want
- 51:28Speaker 1: you to calm down a bit. Now, anybody gonna calm down,
- 51:31Speaker 1: because I would not already paid my money and this
- 51:33Speaker 1: that I'll be talking about what parents? What Harrison said?
- 51:36Speaker 1: Something is it? Is it? Carrie Man, I'm not I'm
- 51:39Speaker 1: not gonna state who it is, but let's just say
- 51:41Speaker 1: it was several Harris has got something to say about
- 51:46Speaker 1: my child and her position on the chill leaders quad,
- 51:48Speaker 1: because if you ain't gonna up no name, then I'm
- 51:50Speaker 1: gonna listen what you're calling me about. I'll tell you
- 51:53Speaker 1: one thing. When she get I fell, I didn't pay
- 51:55Speaker 1: my money. She better not be on no base. She
- 51:58Speaker 1: better be in the air. I guarantee you that. Right now,
- 52:01Speaker 1: I've been hanging with and I don't nobody said nothing
- 52:05Speaker 1: to me about in her way and all this. Okay, Angela,
- 52:08Speaker 1: can you hear me? I just wanted you to hear
- 52:10Speaker 1: me clearly. I haven't seen these young ladies yet. Once
- 52:13Speaker 1: I see them, I will critique what I think. You
- 52:16Speaker 1: don't even need to be calling me because you ain't
- 52:17Speaker 1: even seen nothing. So you're calling me with him? He says,
- 52:20Speaker 1: she's from some other parents that's been skinny and grinned
- 52:23Speaker 1: in my face, and they now wanted to say nothing
- 52:25Speaker 1: to me. They have been in my house. We didn't
- 52:27Speaker 1: have parties over here with the competition every week he
- 52:30Speaker 1: and every other day, and they couldn't say nothing to
- 52:32Speaker 1: me about my baby. I tell you what, why don't
- 52:34Speaker 1: you call your girls on the three way? Miss the
- 52:37Speaker 1: chip If you can't call him on the three now
- 52:40Speaker 1: I got them. I called him on the three way Okay, okay,
- 52:43Speaker 1: Look man, all I wanted to do is make you
- 52:46Speaker 1: aware of the possibility that she may be. Thank you
- 52:50Speaker 1: you have made me aware. And I guarantee you that
- 52:52Speaker 1: if I bring my big yellow something and come to
- 52:54Speaker 1: the practice, I guarantee you you want me to base
- 52:56Speaker 1: how much you want to be on that. Mr Chip, Look,
- 52:59Speaker 1: you're gonna quit high around me. And I told you
- 53:01Speaker 1: I would try to take a look at these girls.
- 53:03Speaker 1: But I tell you what your thought is gonna be
- 53:05Speaker 1: a face or she's gonna be a back support, whichever
- 53:07Speaker 1: I decide she's to do? Who and the do you
- 53:10Speaker 1: think you're holling that? Mr? Chill, No, that's not how
- 53:16Speaker 1: it's gonna go down, as a matter of fact. As
- 53:17Speaker 1: a matter of fact, Mr Chief, are you at the
- 53:19Speaker 1: registration table two days? I'm here now while people are registering.
- 53:24Speaker 1: Let me turn it around. I'll tell you what. I'm
- 53:26Speaker 1: all my way up there. Why don't you and the
- 53:29Speaker 1: parents have been complaining, Why don't all y'all come to
- 53:32Speaker 1: the table, and we don't have come to Jesus meeting
- 53:34Speaker 1: about whether it's gonna be But it's coming up season
- 53:37Speaker 1: because I'm not going to tolerate this I've been told you,
- 53:40Speaker 1: I haven't paid my money and this high is going down.
- 53:44Speaker 1: What what is it that you know, whether game wait
- 53:46Speaker 1: or not? What does they have to do with her
- 53:48Speaker 1: chip meeting? Do you agree that probably bigger than most
- 53:52Speaker 1: of the girls on the team, is not bigger than
- 53:54Speaker 1: most of the girls on the team? Uh mo, daughter,
- 53:57Speaker 1: it's bigger than and she wasn't no base last ship
- 54:00Speaker 1: they hiked up up something you don't get up, So
- 54:02Speaker 1: we are just gonna be big and prop up in
- 54:04Speaker 1: the air. Don't turn the round. And I'm here to
- 54:06Speaker 1: tell you the table, so let me with it before
- 54:11Speaker 1: you get here. There's something else I need to tell you.
- 54:13Speaker 1: Ain't gonna tell me something. All you gotta do is men,
- 54:16Speaker 1: have you and the pairs around that table when I
- 54:18Speaker 1: get there, because I'm on my way up there right now,
- 54:21Speaker 1: then y'all can say all y'all gotta say in my
- 54:23Speaker 1: face before you get here. I just want to let
- 54:26Speaker 1: you know, man, what this is nephew time? Who this
- 54:32Speaker 1: is on this phone? Wait? Wait, wait, waving hol hollo,
- 54:36Speaker 1: what did you just say? This is a nephew time
- 54:39Speaker 1: from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. To be good? Oh lord, Rochelle.
- 54:51Speaker 1: That's another pair named Rochelle. She told for y'all a
- 54:53Speaker 1: good friends out there. Oh she got so she want
- 54:56Speaker 1: to break out. H all right, we're gonna see the
- 54:58Speaker 1: season start. My I don't start the uniform be able
- 55:01Speaker 1: to perform, and we look at her. I want to
- 55:05Speaker 1: break out. Oh man, what is the baddest and I
- 55:10Speaker 1: mean the baddest radio show in the leg show stupid
- 55:18Speaker 1: and most stupid. But we're gonna be stupid somewhere. Come
- 55:22Speaker 1: said that, Junior. Please tell them where we come. We're
- 55:25Speaker 1: going to the township by the tour to Love You
- 55:27Speaker 1: South Carolina, Abri Food's Night, Southern Fried Conference. What's you
- 55:30Speaker 1: talking about? Tell them they already know. Get your tickets
- 55:33Speaker 1: they own see written now that's Southern Southern South Caca
- 55:38Speaker 1: Lak and come on in then and get your Southern
- 55:40Speaker 1: frid on Southern Frad County. You don't want to miss it.
- 55:42Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. It's that time.
- 55:48Speaker 1: It's that time. Buckle up and hold on time. It
- 55:50Speaker 1: is strawberry and letters. All right, here we go subject
- 55:53Speaker 1: side line Shirley and Steve. I am a forty year
- 55:57Speaker 1: old black female and I have found myself in a
- 56:00Speaker 1: no win situation. For the past few months, I've been
- 56:04Speaker 1: seeing a married man and not really sure why I'm
- 56:07Speaker 1: settling or doing this. We see each other Friday night.
- 56:10Speaker 1: We don't have to call each other because we're used
- 56:13Speaker 1: to seeing each other that day and pretty much know
- 56:16Speaker 1: it's only sex. His wife phoned me and was questioning
- 56:19Speaker 1: why I was calling her husband and leaving him messages.
- 56:22Speaker 1: I told her that she should speak to him and
- 56:24Speaker 1: not me, and I hung up. I was so ashamed,
- 56:27Speaker 1: but have continued to see him. I have seen I
- 56:30Speaker 1: have been to her home several times because her job
- 56:33Speaker 1: requires her to be away at least a day or
- 56:35Speaker 1: so during the week. They have three boys together, and
- 56:38Speaker 1: I don't want or expect him to leave his wife.
- 56:42Speaker 1: There were times when I know my self esteem was
- 56:44Speaker 1: in the gutter. But now that I'm revamped and I
- 56:48Speaker 1: am doing things for myself and working on me, I
- 56:50Speaker 1: am feeling a lot better about me and I know
- 56:53Speaker 1: this is not for me. Even if he wasn't with
- 56:56Speaker 1: his wife, he would not be a man that I
- 56:58Speaker 1: would want a permanent relation and ship with. How can
- 57:01Speaker 1: I break this off so I can continue to work
- 57:03Speaker 1: on me and be a better woman and eventually find
- 57:06Speaker 1: the man of my dreams. Signed Sideline. Well, I was
- 57:12Speaker 1: so mad, you know, at reading the beginning of this letter,
- 57:15Speaker 1: I was like, you know, I mean I would have
- 57:17Speaker 1: said something like you're really out of order. It's bad
- 57:19Speaker 1: enough you're seeing a married man, but you're seeing him
- 57:21Speaker 1: at his home where his wife also lived. I mean,
- 57:25Speaker 1: how stupid is this? You're all up in this woman's home.
- 57:28Speaker 1: You could get killed, you know. But then about yeah,
- 57:31Speaker 1: about two thirds of the way down in the letter,
- 57:33Speaker 1: you write about how your self esteem was in the
- 57:35Speaker 1: gutter and how you're now working on yourself and how
- 57:38Speaker 1: you've realized that this is not for you. He's not
- 57:40Speaker 1: the man that you would choose. Okay, so that's great
- 57:43Speaker 1: to that, I say, thank you Jesus. You know, everyone
- 57:46Speaker 1: makes mistakes, everyone, you know, we all have those dark
- 57:49Speaker 1: places that we can go to at times if we
- 57:52Speaker 1: choose that. But now you want out, and you don't
- 57:55Speaker 1: know you know exactly how to do that, And let
- 57:57Speaker 1: me just say that there's no proper way, uh, no
- 58:00Speaker 1: way to do it with any kind of etiquette or anything.
- 58:03Speaker 1: Just do it. Leave this man, Okay, you you should
- 58:08Speaker 1: stop talking to him, change your number, just move on.
- 58:11Speaker 1: You don't owe this man anything, You owe him nothing.
- 58:15Speaker 1: I'm just so glad you woke up before his wife,
- 58:17Speaker 1: you know, really caught you guys in her house or
- 58:20Speaker 1: something crazy like that. Steve Um. Okay, this is another letter,
- 58:28Speaker 1: but here we go. So let me give you what
- 58:30Speaker 1: I do best. Though. I'm gonna tell you some points
- 58:33Speaker 1: in your letter, but then I'm gonna tell you the
- 58:35Speaker 1: male thought process behind. So that's what that that's that's
- 58:39Speaker 1: what throws women so many times. Okay, you may need
- 58:43Speaker 1: help with how you're feeling about something, but please let
- 58:46Speaker 1: me help you speed up the process by telling you
- 58:49Speaker 1: how we view these situations. So you understand. Okay, you'rford
- 58:53Speaker 1: of your old black female. I don't know what that
- 58:54Speaker 1: has to do with it at all, really, for the
- 58:59Speaker 1: year old Hebrew woman, for the year old UH Peruvian woman?
- 59:04Speaker 1: What what? What does it matter? That this situation is
- 59:07Speaker 1: common everywhere? You're in a no win situation? This is
- 59:11Speaker 1: what you say you in you've been seeing a married man.
- 59:15Speaker 1: Not really sure why I'm settling or doing this. Okay,
- 59:18Speaker 1: let me tell you why you're settling or doing this,
- 59:20Speaker 1: because you've decided that at this time in your life,
- 59:24Speaker 1: this is your worth. That's why you do it. That's
- 59:28Speaker 1: why you play second, because you've decided, at this particular time,
- 59:31Speaker 1: for whatever the reason, since the man of your dreams
- 59:34Speaker 1: is not available, that this is your worth at this time.
- 59:39Speaker 1: Women have got to stop devaluing themselves because you're not
- 59:42Speaker 1: you haven't found him yet, or or or Mr Wright
- 59:45Speaker 1: hasn't come along you. You can't devalue yourself because that's
- 59:49Speaker 1: the situation. Guess what in the process of devaluing yourself
- 59:53Speaker 1: when Mr Wright does come along, guess what, he's gonna
- 59:56Speaker 1: see a lower value person than you really are, because
- 59:59Speaker 1: you're gonna exude that after a while, just like you
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: exude it. Now. We see each other every Friday night.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: We don't even have to call each other because we
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: know that we're seeing each other that day and pretty much, no,
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: it's only sex. Okay, So now check this out. This
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: is the male mindset. You are the Friday girl. Please,
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: don't ever expect to be the Sunday girl or the
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: Wednesday girl, none of that. Don't ever expect to be
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: anything else. You are the Friday girl. That's going to
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: be no more to this you are pretty much know
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: it's only for sex. Okay, cool? Then I have to
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: inform you of something about men. Listen to me carefully, Ladies,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: if you are just for Fridays and just for sex,
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: here's the real deal about us as men. We never
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: ever use you just for sex and then graduate you
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: to the next level. We don't do that. I don't
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: care who you are. If you're involved with a man
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: just for sex and you have the hope one day
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: of it becoming more, stop hoping. We never ever graduate
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: women who we use just for sex because we only
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: see you as that. If you don't see yourself as
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: nothing more, please know that there's not a man that's
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: looking for the potential in you. So understand that about us.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: Do you feel me sure? We never graduate if you're
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: just the Friday girl for sex only. Please know that
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: no man living is graduating you to the next level
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: because he he men are not that gifted. See, women
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: can find the potential in men. We can't find the
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: potential in women. Were not that deep. So you the
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: Friday girl just for sex, then guess what you'll be
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: that from now And if you don't want that, then
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: you'll just be nothing. You understand that. Now later on
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: in the letter, you want to know how to stop.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: I got there for you to when we come back
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: right after this, okay, al right after the break at
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: eighteen after the hour, part two of Steve's response to
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry Letter. I get crazier and crazier. You're listening,
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: all right. I got part to it is, I'm so
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: exhausted from these people. Then they don't win me out.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: He said, you were going to tell us how many? Okay,
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: here's here's first of all, I gotta get something I
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: miss I have been up in her home several times. Okay, Now,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: you and this man is trifling. Please understand when a
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: man cheats, you know he's being trifling. I'll give you that.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: You know, ladies get upset. One lady wrote in on
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: an open Winterfrey show and kind of threw me off
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: a little bit. She said that off. I was very
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: disappointed in your answer. Your number one reason why me
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: and cheating, because there's so many women out there who
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: are willing to cheat with them. Well, that's still the
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: true statement. You don't gotta like it, it's it's just
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: still a true statement. And here's a woman right here
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: a perfect example of a woman who's willing to cheat. See,
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: and if you've got a lot of your friends or
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: women who don't have standards and stuff, and then all
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: you gotta do is run into a guy. That's all
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: you gotta do is run into a guy that don't
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: have himself together. Now you two people hook up, and
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: now some message created by this man's for this man's
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: wife and three kids. Now they left with the residue
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: of the man not having himself together. And now he
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: didn't met a woman who has no standards for herself. Okay,
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: but she all up in this woman's house. That that
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: right there is trife. Man, do you understand how trifling
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: he is? Though he is even more trifling to have
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: somebody in the sanctity of his own home cheap. Okay,
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: but now let's get to that. Uh. There are times
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: when I know myself esteem was in the gutter. But
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: now that I've read vamped and I am doing things
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: for myself and working on me and feeling a lot
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: better about me, I know this is not for me. Okay,
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: great epiphany, it's the word Shirley, just talk. Great epiphany.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Light bulb went off. We got it. Then right after that,
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: she says, even if he wasn't with his wife, he
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: would not be the man that I would want in
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: a permanent relationship with Wow, another light bulb went off.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: This woman has gotten it right right after that, how
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: can I break this off so I can continue to
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: work on me and be a better woman and eventually
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: find a man of my dream. Science how I've said
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: it time and time again, there is another example. You
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: cannot find the man that you need if you're gonna
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: keep doing what you want. You are simply doing what
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: you want. And here's how you stop this. Are you
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: listening to yourself? You just wrote all the stuff that
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: I could ever tell you or Shirley, but you're not
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: listening to yourself. If you know all of this, he
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: ain't the man for you. You've revamped and gotten yourself together.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: Here's my question to you, ma'am. Why are you still
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: kicking it with him? Because guess what he is the
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: part you having fixed. This is still all you think
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: you're worth. Until you change your worth, your value, you're
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: gonna keep devaluing yourself by doing worthless stuff, and this
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: is a worthless relationship. Look, lady, get it through your head.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: You're the Friday girl. That's just for sex. That's what
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: you are. You're nothing more. He's not gonna graduate you
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: to his wife. We don't. We don't upgrade sex only girls.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: We don't do that. We don't do that. But how
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: does she leave? Just leave? Stop taking stop talking to him,
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: quit going over his wife house. Do that, move on,
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: stop quick, quit taking the call. Do what you feel.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: This is crazy. I love it all right, good job.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: Steve is always Today's strawberry letters posted on Steve Harvey

- 1:06:41Speaker 1: she is, Sheryl the Republican Underwood, Steve Harvey, just get out,
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: get out. It's gonna be ladies. It's gonna be a
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: ladies night. Or Ladies Day. It's gonna be us right,
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: all the dudes get the get get us stepping because
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: we don't tell ladies stuff, because we gotta get together
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: the first, ladies. If you see me in the airport,
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: I'm on my way to fellowship with the Brothers of
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: Omegas five in Western Florida. They're having their district meeting
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: Shirland Carler, because you know, I think fellowshiping with other
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: organizations is a good thing to do. Then, Carl, I
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: got to go pick up me some little money on
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: the side over at Next Level Entertainment in Jackson, Mississippi.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: A Jackson vision being so full restaurants. Soon as I land,
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: I gotta get over there, right, so we get the full,
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: but it's not so full that we sisters can't get together.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: What's the hashtag? After Bill o'roney was running his mouth
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: talking about a good sister, soldier, politician, doing her thing,
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: always taking it to the street. Stay wolf Max c Waters,
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: What is this? What is this going on? What's what?
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: Black women at work? Right? Right? Black women at work?
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: We were that's right, we have work, we have worked,
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: and it's not just about money, it's about respect. What
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: was the sister's name. Who was the Republican that the
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: reporter that Sean Spices told her to stop shaking her head?
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: April Bryan, And what what news will do? What's she worked?
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: What's she works from? She works for the American Urban Radio.
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: You are saying, yeah, you are. Let me tell you something.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: See President Trump, I'm just gonna say this. This is
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: my opinion. So call me if you want to highlight
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: me about it. See he don't gass these dudes up,
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: Bill o'rilly Spicer. Everybody, how you having a healthcare reform meeting.
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: Ain't no women in it, ain't no black women in it,
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: Ain't no black ain't no politicians. And so all this
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: leaning in we did. All it did was allowing them
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: to push us out. But we ain't going nowhere. Max
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: said it right, I'm strong, I'm black, and I ain't
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: going girl. Let me tell you something. I was so
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: proud of her when you proud, call them very proud.
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: She went cooking lions right on that ass. I love,
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: I love, I love real talk because we tired of
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: this mess. And see what I think is odd is
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: this is the time where not just all women need
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: to come together, all men need to stand together with us.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: Where's the man to stand up for Maxim? Where's the Democrats?
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: Where this is an attack on your colleague, this is
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: an attack. Where's the news reporters? Am I right? Am
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: I right? All right? Democrats? We won't stick together. She
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: needs some of them to come to her defense. That's right,
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: that's that's that's right, that's right. They tripped hard about
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: Susan b. Anthony, but you won't trip when you got
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: two black women doing their job, standing the strongest, standing
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: by their self. That's why we can't come together and
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: defeat them. I'm in the Republican Party. I know what's up.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: And they not turned it all the way back to
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: the early seventeen hundreds where we didn't have no we
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: didn't have no land, we didn't have no power, we
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: didn't have no money. But we ain't going back. There
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: ain't no place go. You ain't gotta take nothing back
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: because I ain't going back nowhere. You ain't gotta make
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: nothing great because we was always great. You trimping. See
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: I'm about to cuss on the radio. Hold it right there, Cheryl,
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: Thank you so much. We love you. We love you girl,
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: Thank you. We got your girl. Yes, we do. Black
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: women at work? Hast black women at work right now? Yeah,
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: here's the question of the week. Have a great day, Cheryl.

- 1:12:15Speaker 1: What created equal? When we come back, We're gonna find equal, y'all.

- 1:13:08Speaker 1: We're doing good? Shae? Who are you jealous? I'm jealous
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: of my ex? First? Interesting? Why? Because he gets the
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: easy way down. He pays child support every week and
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: I have to be the bad parents. It's good times
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: with him. Yes, he he's paying child support? Look at
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: the break. Is he good with your kids? No, sir,
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: he's not a great dad. Um, that is working on him. Okay, well,
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: but he's send the money though, they take it right
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: on at his check every week. M hm. So when
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: you say you're the bad parent, Shae, what do you

- 1:13:58Speaker 1: I have to tell my child know um that she
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: can go with him? When really is that she is
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: not willing to get her I don't want to tell
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: her that. I'm trying to let her see it for herself. Wow,
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: wow she will hold Yeah? Well yeah she will. Wow.
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: That's no good. You know something, man? I said it yesterday.
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: I can't think of where I was. You know, Man,
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: if every father, every father of every child would just
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: be a daddy. Man, just be the daddy, man, and
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: anybody can be a father. It don't take nothing for
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: you to say I'm a father. The special cat is
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: the dude, that's the daddy. You've got to have relationship
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: with your kids. Man. Your kid cannot be saying where
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: is my daddy? You can't do that, man. I did
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: that for a period in my life. Man, I was
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: so caught up in building my career. Man Brandon called
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: him my oldest son. They didn't see me for long
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: periods of time. That ain't good. Man. I've done that.
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: I did that years and years and years ago. It's
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: not good to do. Man, it's not good to do.
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: I don't care how busy you are. You gotta take
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: time out. Man. Y'all got ways to communicate now. You
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: can face time, Skype, you got texts, all that. You know.
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: Back then that technology didn't exist. But still, I mean, man,
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: you can't do that. Man. You gotta be a daddy.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: You gotta be a daddy. You've got to be It's important,
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: so important to the family. It is for the boy
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: and the girl girl, please, and I'll get it together.
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: Come on, fellas, come on, man, just call him, just
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: spend some time when and saying hey, look, I'm your dad.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: You know I don't talk to you much, but I
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: don't you know, I think about you often. I love you.
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: If you need anything, called me. Here's a number. I
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: don't have a lot right now to fell on some
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: hard times, but here here, my this is how you
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: can call me and leave a message and I'll get
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: right back to you. I'll be that for you. Man.
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: If you just told a child that boy or girl,
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: you know what that would mean to them that they
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: have a connection to their daddy somewhere. Yeah. And this
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: is a case where a child support. He's paying child support.
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: That's good. A child support in this case isn't enough.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: Your daughter needs to see you, she wants yea. And
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: these dudes that's thinking cause you're paying child supporting. Man,
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: you ain't doing nobody, no damn favor. I'm sorry, Broye.
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: I'm sorry, but if you was there, you'd be spending
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: more money than that. I know it seemed like you
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: wouldn't because I know how dudes feel about child support.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: She taking this money, all this ain't going towards this girl. Well,
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: all of it can't go towards the child because there's
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: a cost of living. The child gotta stay somewhere. The
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: child want to go to programs and take gas some
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: money to run these kids in this program? You want
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: to send a kid on the fact your trip, that
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: costs money. They want phones, they want close they want
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: they want to go out to eat with their friends.
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: All that cost money. It ain't just you buying school
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: clothes and a computer. Oh that ain't it. Man. You're
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: paying that money because that woman has got to take
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: care of the infrastructure. You know. Man, we gotta come on, man,
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: we gotta we gotta think like this. Just because you
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: pay child support, you don't get a pad on the
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: bat for paying child support. You ain't doing nothing you're
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: supposed to be doing. The damn shame is that they
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: got to take it out their check and make you. Yeah,
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: that's the shame you gotta be told to do for
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: your blood. You're alone. I paid child support and my
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: son was actually living with me. Tell me about that,
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: timmy man, dog dog. Don't you don't even understand? Man? Wow,
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: now now it just got real the show, right, here
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: just had a real moment. Yeah she did, Yeah, in
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: a real moment. That that was real. Yeah it's tough, man,
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: you said up here in cold you gotta be kidding me.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: And I just not that I'm coming down on dudes,
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: you know, like I'm all that because I had appeared
