Concerns over mental health, substance abuse treatment continue as county restructures behavioral health system
The Box Elder County Commission formally terminated its former mental health services contract with Bear River Mental Health Services on Aug. 12 as part of the region’s behavioral health restructuring, while Beacon Recovery representatives and supporters renewed objections over Medicaid patient choice, provider access and system capacity.
