- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a suit like the don giving
- 0:13Speaker 1: them like the million bucks things and the stuffings not
- 0:20Speaker 1: true good it hasten to other. Please, I don't join jo.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Don't give me turn ing you're going. You gotta turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: to turn them out? Turn you love, got the turnout
- 1:45Speaker 1: the turn turn water the water go. Come come on
- 1:58Speaker 1: your thing. Uh huh, I sure will come on everybody,
- 2:05Speaker 1: y'all listen to the voice. Come on, dig me now,
- 2:07Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey. Uh how a radio show? Yep? Yep.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Sometimes I saw all I can say. Yelp, Man, how
- 2:20Speaker 1: far I've come is really unbelievable. But you know I
- 2:23Speaker 1: finally figured it out. Man. God allowed me to have
- 2:29Speaker 1: the life I've had so that I can become experienced
- 2:34Speaker 1: at so many different things. And then this experience when
- 2:38Speaker 1: I'm talking and sharing with people, I will be able
- 2:42Speaker 1: to relate to a lot of different circumstances, not exact,
- 2:45Speaker 1: but just the circumstances. You know. You know, if a
- 2:48Speaker 1: person comes to men, they say, man, I've been down
- 2:50Speaker 1: and out. Okay, Well I know what that is, man,
- 2:53Speaker 1: I didn't I didn't have any direction. Okay, got that
- 2:56Speaker 1: been there, man. At one point in time, I just
- 3:00Speaker 1: kept piling mistake on top of mistakes. Okay. So you know,
- 3:08Speaker 1: I think what I'm trying to say to everybody is
- 3:10Speaker 1: when you're going through life and life is dealing the
- 3:14Speaker 1: cards that it deals, I want you to understand that
- 3:18Speaker 1: life deals everybody these cards. The disappointment card, the setback card,
- 3:25Speaker 1: the failure card, the mishap card, the unexpected misery card.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Everybody gonna get, the grief card, everybody gonna get, the
- 3:37Speaker 1: rash of bad decision card, everybody gonna get them. Understand
- 3:42Speaker 1: that going in that everybody is gonna get these cards.
- 3:51Speaker 1: It's how you play them, though, you know, from time
- 3:55Speaker 1: to time, one more time, it's how you play them,
- 3:58Speaker 1: you know. From time to time when I'm watch TV,
- 4:00Speaker 1: I love to watch the World Series of Poker. I
- 4:04Speaker 1: like watching poker tournaments on TV because it's it's really weird,
- 4:10Speaker 1: what's happened to a sport? To a poker they're actually
- 4:14Speaker 1: trying to call it a sport, you know, And as
- 4:16Speaker 1: the everyday guy that doesn't have to be athletically inclined
- 4:20Speaker 1: to anything, who has a shot of winning a title
- 4:25Speaker 1: if they play their cards right. The best poker players
- 4:29Speaker 1: in the world don't have the best hands, They just
- 4:33Speaker 1: make the best plays. I've seen guys win a hand
- 4:38Speaker 1: with nine two in their hand as nothing and win
- 4:42Speaker 1: the hand because they knew the bluff, they knew the odds,
- 4:47Speaker 1: they calculated risks, they made the stakes higher than the
- 4:51Speaker 1: other person was willing to pay. They gave off the
- 4:55Speaker 1: illusion that they had something with an actuality. They had nothing.
- 5:01Speaker 1: So what I what I enjoy about poker and watching
- 5:04Speaker 1: it is that these people, these people here, played the
- 5:10Speaker 1: hand they dealt, and it ain't always a good hand.
- 5:13Speaker 1: But it ain't whether your hand is good, And it
- 5:16Speaker 1: ain't whether you're gonna get dealt bad cards or not.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Because you're gonna get dealt some bad cards. Everybody ain't
- 5:21Speaker 1: gonna get two bullets in their hand. You ain't gonna
- 5:22Speaker 1: get two aces when you get dealt. Uh. You know,
- 5:26Speaker 1: when you play a draw poker, some of your cards
- 5:28Speaker 1: gonna be nothing. But you got to turn that nothing
- 5:31Speaker 1: into something. So when you get dealt these cards in life,
- 5:34Speaker 1: it ain't the fact that you get keep getting them dealt.
- 5:37Speaker 1: I was talking with a young person yesterday and we
- 5:40Speaker 1: were talking, and we keep having the same conversation over
- 5:43Speaker 1: and over and over, and they could not understand why
- 5:46Speaker 1: they were not moving forward. But I said, you don't understand.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Every time we talk we have the exact same conversation.
- 5:53Speaker 1: It is simply because you keep getting your cards and
- 5:58Speaker 1: you playing them the same way. See, until you make
- 6:01Speaker 1: a conscientious, the conscious decision to do something different, the
- 6:07Speaker 1: results will continue to be the same. See here's the
- 6:14Speaker 1: way this works. When you're dealt to disappointments in life,
- 6:18Speaker 1: it's how you handle the disappointments that determined the outcome
- 6:22Speaker 1: and who you are. Because everybody gonna be disappointment, Everybody
- 6:26Speaker 1: gonna lose a love one, Everybody gonna make a bad decision,
- 6:29Speaker 1: Everybody gonna end wake up one morning they have done
- 6:32Speaker 1: something they regretted. Everybody gonna get caught at the wrong time.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Every everybody gonna make a mistake. It ain't just you.
- 6:40Speaker 1: That is how you play your cards when they get
- 6:43Speaker 1: dealt to you, that determine who you are. Na, how
- 6:46Speaker 1: do I play my cards better? First of all, it's
- 6:48Speaker 1: a mindset. Quit looking at everything as just the end
- 6:52Speaker 1: when it happens to you. Oh lord, woe is me. Nah,
- 6:57Speaker 1: everybody got your circum stances somewhere. It ain't old. Woe
- 7:02Speaker 1: is me. It's hold on, man, Okay, let me play
- 7:05Speaker 1: this out to see how God then connected this to
- 7:08Speaker 1: something else. See, as soon as a person have a setback,
- 7:11Speaker 1: what's the first thing A lot of people do, they
- 7:12Speaker 1: go straight negative. I can't see him to get a break.
- 7:15Speaker 1: I can't see him move forward. Hold on, man, do
- 7:18Speaker 1: you realize this could be connected to something? See you
- 7:22Speaker 1: got to understand, man, that this thing is all connected.
- 7:25Speaker 1: That you're not having these mishaps and these spills and
- 7:28Speaker 1: accidents and falls for no reason. It's so you can
- 7:31Speaker 1: become experienced at them. So when he takes you to
- 7:34Speaker 1: the next level, when it happens again, you have no
- 7:36Speaker 1: how and how to handle it. If you keep throwing
- 7:39Speaker 1: yourself off the cliff every time something happened, you're just
- 7:43Speaker 1: gonna be a cliff diver. Man, Stop tripping yourself out.
- 7:47Speaker 1: I was talking to this young person. I kept saying,
- 7:49Speaker 1: and you know what they tried to tell me. I'm
- 7:52Speaker 1: trying to stay positive. But the people around here, they're
- 7:55Speaker 1: just killing that. Oh. I see. So when you learn
- 7:59Speaker 1: something and you know something, you don't take ownership of it.
- 8:03Speaker 1: You allow other people to come into what you know
- 8:06Speaker 1: and believe and shake it loose from you. I don't
- 8:09Speaker 1: care who you are. You're not doing me like that.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Here's a deal. I have a gift that was given
- 8:14Speaker 1: to me from God. That is the gift of comedy.
- 8:16Speaker 1: That's what I've done. I've made the bulk of my
- 8:19Speaker 1: living on that skill set. Right there. That are comedians
- 8:23Speaker 1: who are supposedly friends of mine, who I've worked with,
- 8:26Speaker 1: who get around in huddles with one another and they say, man,
- 8:30Speaker 1: Steve really ain't funny. I don't see what they'd be
- 8:32Speaker 1: laughing at. He ain't funny to me. He wasn't the
- 8:35Speaker 1: funniest king to me. Excuse me, you're irrelevant in this
- 8:40Speaker 1: conversation because it regardless as to how you feel about me.
- 8:44Speaker 1: That are people think that I'm knocked down kill over funny.
- 8:47Speaker 1: But more importantly, I own the gift that God gave
- 8:51Speaker 1: to me. I take ownership of his blessing. Because you
- 8:55Speaker 1: don't think it's so. You ain't taking that from me.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Stop letting people steal your joy. Stop letting people take
- 9:02Speaker 1: what you're supposed to know. Look, I'm a I'm a
- 9:05Speaker 1: I'm a I'm a kind person at heart. Man. You
- 9:08Speaker 1: ain't nothing now you said if you're going, man, I
- 9:10Speaker 1: guess I ain't what you're tripping for. You are a
- 9:13Speaker 1: kind person, own that take ownership of it. Stop letting
- 9:20Speaker 1: things God has given you be taken away from others.
- 9:23Speaker 1: The devil's a cold player, and he got cold players
- 9:26Speaker 1: working for him, just shaking, just taking stuff from you.
- 9:29Speaker 1: You know, I'm a hard worker. I really am intelligent.
- 9:33Speaker 1: You stupid man. I thought I was a hard worker. Man.
- 9:36Speaker 1: It came in here and said I was stupid. Man,
- 9:38Speaker 1: I don't know what I'm doing wrong. What excuse me?
- 9:42Speaker 1: You're a very bright person. Hey, y'all take ownership. When
- 9:46Speaker 1: God gives you something, blesses you would have gifted talent,
- 9:48Speaker 1: a skill set, a mindset. Own it. Don't let people
- 9:52Speaker 1: come in here and take it from you. Man, Okay,
- 9:55Speaker 1: I probably shouldn't have with it. You're listening show ladies
- 10:02Speaker 1: and gentlemen. Man, I have your undivided attention. Please. This
- 10:05Speaker 1: is the beginning of the Steve Harvey Morning Show, and
- 10:07Speaker 1: it will begin immediately as soon as I introduced this
- 10:11Speaker 1: person here, Shirley Strawberry, And now we're rolling on to
- 10:16Speaker 1: the next person, which is junior. Here spates Mounc. I'm here, last,
- 10:22Speaker 1: but not least, the King of Pranks, nephew, Tommy Yah
- 10:26Speaker 1: and undeniably the forefront. Then entitled name on the show,
- 10:31Speaker 1: which is not the most important component. But it's pretty
- 10:34Speaker 1: good though, Ladies and gentlemen. That damned Steve hark Well,
- 10:43Speaker 1: we're all here. Yes, yes, everybody's been coming to me
- 10:49Speaker 1: telling me how fly. I just had to say that
- 10:52Speaker 1: right out the gate, how fly you are? Everyone? I mean,
- 10:57Speaker 1: hands down, they're talking about all your outfit. This is
- 11:03Speaker 1: what started at all. First of all, when I'm not
- 11:07Speaker 1: on TV, who I have to walk next to? The blueprint?
- 11:13Speaker 1: Yet that's who I have to walk next to. Secondly,
- 11:20Speaker 1: here's two things. Here's two things that happened. Facebook Watch
- 11:24Speaker 1: said we don't want you to dress like you did
- 11:29Speaker 1: on your talk show because what we saw two years
- 11:32Speaker 1: ago on NFL Honors. We'd like for you to dress
- 11:34Speaker 1: like that. I said, well, I got plenty of that stuff.
- 11:36Speaker 1: I said, I'm just not allowed to wear it because
- 11:39Speaker 1: I was trying to fit into the mode of a
- 11:40Speaker 1: talk show host. You know, take late night and put
- 11:43Speaker 1: a little splash to it. And then when Marjorie convinced
- 11:46Speaker 1: me to hire Ellie. Ellie is a person who's really
- 11:50Speaker 1: a stylist and he knows everything is coming out beforehand.
- 11:54Speaker 1: He only asked me one question, mister Harvey, what would
- 11:57Speaker 1: you like to be different? And I said, i want
- 11:59Speaker 1: to go back to colors, man, because I'm tired of
- 12:01Speaker 1: war navy, blue suits, pinstripes, allright, this because and I
- 12:05Speaker 1: won't go back to colors like I did. Kings of comment, right,
- 12:08Speaker 1: He said done, and then he started going out and
- 12:13Speaker 1: pulling things of that nature for me, and it really
- 12:15Speaker 1: changed the whole game. But let me say this, it's
- 12:18Speaker 1: more than the fact that you are fly and what
- 12:21Speaker 1: you have on and everybody likes the pictures. It's like
- 12:24Speaker 1: a movement in that you're showing older gentlemen you know
- 12:29Speaker 1: what to aspire you know to what to aspire to
- 12:33Speaker 1: and all of that. They like the fact that you've
- 12:36Speaker 1: created this niche for you know, these zaddies, for lack
- 12:40Speaker 1: of a better word, to just look good and in
- 12:43Speaker 1: old age, you know, in their older age, as they
- 12:47Speaker 1: get older, instead of going the other way, you're going
- 12:51Speaker 1: the opposite way, which is what they're talking about. Ellie
- 12:54Speaker 1: said it was in the interview he did was you
- 12:56Speaker 1: should not fall into a category because of your age,
- 13:00Speaker 1: not stuff age appropriate, Like if you're asking sixty four,
- 13:03Speaker 1: you really should not be in skinny jeans. Let's stop
- 13:06Speaker 1: this dog. That's not for you. You really shouldn't be
- 13:09Speaker 1: in sneakers that's not tied up. That ain't that ain't me.
- 13:14Speaker 1: I'm I don't, I don't, I'm not. I'm not fit
- 13:16Speaker 1: to do that. You know, I'm not fit to wear
- 13:18Speaker 1: a head red, right, but I still want it to
- 13:20Speaker 1: be fly and do the things I would do. But
- 13:24Speaker 1: his ability to go out and see what's out there
- 13:26Speaker 1: and introduced because I don't go to stores. Yeah, so, Steve,
- 13:30Speaker 1: all you have to say now is you're welcome, really
- 13:33Speaker 1: so much very You're welcome, shouldn't. All right, I'm coming
- 13:38Speaker 1: up at thirty two minutes after the hour, asked the CLLO.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 13:47Speaker 1: All right, time now for ask the CLLO. The Chief
- 13:50Speaker 1: Love Officer, Steve Harvey is in the building and this
- 13:54Speaker 1: one is from Mary Anne and Elmo, South Carolina. Uh
- 14:00Speaker 1: almost said, yeah, I never heard of Elmo. All right,
- 14:09Speaker 1: send all your love questions to the celo and he'll
- 14:12Speaker 1: help you out. By the way, mary Anne writes, there's
- 14:15Speaker 1: a boutique in town that I go to all the time,
- 14:18Speaker 1: and the other day I walked in and my friend's
- 14:20Speaker 1: husband came from the back of the store with the
- 14:23Speaker 1: girl that works there. He whispered to her, I thought
- 14:26Speaker 1: you locked the door, and it was very awkward for
- 14:29Speaker 1: a moment. I asked if he was there shopping for
- 14:32Speaker 1: his wife, so the wife would know he's married, and
- 14:35Speaker 1: I left the store. His wife called me later and
- 14:37Speaker 1: thanked me for helping her husband pick out a dress.
- 14:41Speaker 1: I wanted to tell her he's lying, but I didn't.
- 14:44Speaker 1: I wasn't gonna tell on him. But since he told,
- 14:46Speaker 1: should I tell her the truth? She's going to find out.
- 14:56Speaker 1: And see, thought you locked the door. That's all he
- 14:59Speaker 1: had to say to that, you stupid food. While you
- 15:02Speaker 1: said loud enough for her to here. That wasn't a
- 15:05Speaker 1: whisper what you come out to front folk, right, She
- 15:11Speaker 1: just a lot of what you stupid? I thought you?
- 15:14Speaker 1: I thought you boy? Yeah no, but definitely don't say anything.
- 15:20Speaker 1: She's going to find out because he's stupid. Okay, question question, Yes,
- 15:24Speaker 1: where are you pleased with the fact that he did
- 15:27Speaker 1: take a dress home to his wife and drug her
- 15:35Speaker 1: friend in it. Yeah, she said, I saw out, thank
- 15:41Speaker 1: you so much. That was cold right there. That was
- 15:47Speaker 1: straight gangster me. But that ain't gonna last them typing.
- 15:50Speaker 1: What listen to me, fellas, Listen to me. Dragging your
- 15:54Speaker 1: boy into the lie is one thing. When you dragged
- 15:58Speaker 1: her girlfriend into the lie, that's that's not that's unintelligent. Yeah,
- 16:04Speaker 1: she's considering optional. Your boy would just go, hey, man,
- 16:07Speaker 1: let me know what you need me to say. I
- 16:09Speaker 1: thank you for Oh yeah, no problem. Hey dog, you
- 16:11Speaker 1: were down the mind dress. You told your wife I
- 16:13Speaker 1: was helping you. Yeah, okay, cool. Now you don't involve
- 16:16Speaker 1: her friend. You're stupid. Yeah, yeah, yes, stay out of it, Marianne.
- 16:23Speaker 1: According to the CLO, all right Michelle and Irving, Texas says,
- 16:27Speaker 1: I have a problem with my husband's mom talking about
- 16:30Speaker 1: me behind my back. She has told my eleven year
- 16:33Speaker 1: old daughter that she needs to watch what she eats
- 16:35Speaker 1: because she doesn't want to be wide like her mother.
- 16:39Speaker 1: She told my sister that I must take after my father,
- 16:42Speaker 1: who I do not do. I don't know because my
- 16:45Speaker 1: mother is splendor. I know I'm wider than I've ever been,
- 16:48Speaker 1: but I don't need this kind of ridicule. My husband
- 16:51Speaker 1: said his mom is doing an out of love and
- 16:53Speaker 1: concern for me. Am I overthinking this? Or is she wrong? Oh?
- 16:57Speaker 1: She dad wrong ed it out of love and concern.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Stop eating, baby, before you end up like your mama.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Your mama must take after her daddy because her mama slim.
- 17:10Speaker 1: I don't know what she's doing. Why. I don't even
- 17:13Speaker 1: know your daddy, So you think that's being helpful? Yeah?
- 17:18Speaker 1: And then you said, I know I'm wider than I be.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Well when you use wide, ever, why what size is that?
- 17:36Speaker 1: Please excuse me? I'm looking for dress. Can you point
- 17:40Speaker 1: me to love seat? Second? Yeah? Yeah, you're not overthinking it.
- 17:48Speaker 1: Your mother in law's dead wrong she is, according to
- 17:52Speaker 1: the CLO. All right. Moving on, Tia and Jacksonville says,
- 17:56Speaker 1: I'm in a situationship with a man that I went
- 17:59Speaker 1: to high school with twenty five years ago. We reconnected
- 18:02Speaker 1: and things are going great, but he doesn't know I'm married.
- 18:06Speaker 1: I spend a lot of time at my parents' house,
- 18:08Speaker 1: helping them out because they're in their late eighties. I
- 18:11Speaker 1: see my side dude whenever I'm there. So it has
- 18:14Speaker 1: worked out so far, but now he wants to take
- 18:17Speaker 1: a mini vacation and I don't think I can. Should
- 18:20Speaker 1: I tell him I'm married and see what happened? Yes,
- 18:24Speaker 1: because this man needs to know that he's in the
- 18:27Speaker 1: death zone. He could get killed, not even know why.
- 18:35Speaker 1: You gotta at least tell them. Man, the risk he
- 18:38Speaker 1: is what you want to know if he was married? Yeah,
- 18:41Speaker 1: give him the option. Don't nobody want to wake up
- 18:44Speaker 1: dead and don't know why? God, for no reason. I
- 18:50Speaker 1: was just I was just dying now and you try
- 18:54Speaker 1: to what Hey, dogs, so you've been sold? So you
- 18:59Speaker 1: the want to sleep in my wife? Man know you lie?
- 19:05Speaker 1: So now he assumes you lie because he assumes you know.
- 19:07Speaker 1: You have to tell this man. And I don't know
- 19:10Speaker 1: if you see anything. She's saying that they see each
- 19:12Speaker 1: other at at at at her mom and Neil. Yeah,
- 19:15Speaker 1: when she well, not at the house, but when she's
- 19:17Speaker 1: in town to take care of them. How you ain't
- 19:20Speaker 1: told us, man? God tell us man, you mar This
- 19:24Speaker 1: is normally the U from a male perspective, it's always
- 19:28Speaker 1: oh yeah, that's why he's so he wants her to
- 19:33Speaker 1: tell the truth, right, You got to end Like dudes,
- 19:36Speaker 1: if you're married and you see any girl, you have
- 19:38Speaker 1: to tell the woman that you're married so she can
- 19:41Speaker 1: assess the damage. Man. Just let them figure out if
- 19:44Speaker 1: that's what they want to do or nothing. But you
- 19:45Speaker 1: got this man in the death zone right here, right, yeah, yeah,
- 19:49Speaker 1: all right. Shannon in Florida says my husband and boyfriend
- 19:52Speaker 1: are in the same local chapter of their fraternity and
- 19:54Speaker 1: it's causing me a lot of stress. I've been with
- 19:57Speaker 1: my boyfriend for several years and recently he's been trying
- 20:00Speaker 1: to break it off with me. My husband and my boyfriend, Yeah,
- 20:05Speaker 1: they're in the same frat in the same chapter. I'm
- 20:09Speaker 1: hearing this oh he and oh this hill I heard it,
- 20:13Speaker 1: and I just go ahead. Shit, I don't know if
- 20:16Speaker 1: we're gonna have time, but anyway, all right. I've been
- 20:19Speaker 1: with my boyfriend for several years, and recently he's been
- 20:21Speaker 1: trying to break it off of me. He won't come
- 20:23Speaker 1: out and say it, but he's been doing weird things
- 20:27Speaker 1: like joining the same chapter my husband belongs to. Is
- 20:30Speaker 1: it a coincidence or should I be worried that he's
- 20:32Speaker 1: getting close to my husband? He's tripping. What do I do?
- 20:36Speaker 1: He getting close to your husband? And the same chapter
- 20:40Speaker 1: you understand what this is. They didn't pass the cup?
- 20:43Speaker 1: Oh boy, I ain't clubs. They're in the same chapter.
- 20:46Speaker 1: You don't even know? Men? Did you little girl to go?
- 20:51Speaker 1: All right? Coming up? Oh, y'all in the death zone.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Church complaints. Right after this, you're listening the Steve Harvey

- 22:45Speaker 1: I just want you to know, Luck, I don't mind

- 23:03Speaker 1: be some type of exchange from giving. Well, but y'all
- 23:08Speaker 1: ya all the ones, don't nobody you know that new
- 23:14Speaker 1: girl Scout cookie? I like the chocolate Mitch, Yeah, and
- 23:20Speaker 1: then this is my favorite? And what another one? Or
- 23:24Speaker 1: what's the other for the peanut butter? And like that
- 23:31Speaker 1: other cooking? Don't that the old man's cup? The triful sketchy,
- 23:36Speaker 1: it's sketchy, very triful tastes like raising bread to me,
- 23:44Speaker 1: pressed raising bread. Other than that, I'm pretty sure sister
- 23:51Speaker 1: Carlin was here. She want to take that out. Car
- 23:54Speaker 1: brother calls her baby selling girl. But that ain't one
- 23:57Speaker 1: of my damn proper alright, when we do have we
- 24:01Speaker 1: dog in the cookies that don't taste all right? Battle,
- 24:07Speaker 1: we got a situation. We want to ban all chilly

- 24:13Speaker 1: don't care for that either. She's not here. I'm getting something.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Take them here in the hair bowls out the let
- 24:21Speaker 1: him flip. All right, it's Deak and it's not Timmy.
- 24:27Speaker 1: It's two different people. We have a light skinned, dog
- 24:32Speaker 1: skin stand off about who sits on the front pew. Well,
- 24:35Speaker 1: let me just stop you right there. I got all
- 24:37Speaker 1: my money on the dog skinned people. Yeah, get down
- 24:45Speaker 1: to an ass. I'll tell you right up. Well, let
- 24:48Speaker 1: me tell you. Let me let me tell you who's
- 24:50Speaker 1: arging past. Like I said, we have a dark skinned,
- 24:52Speaker 1: light skins standoff who sits on the front pews. He
- 24:56Speaker 1: had to check our interest ever, but and Terrence Howard
- 24:59Speaker 1: are at odds. So who you think win that? Right there?
- 25:03Speaker 1: I don't care gonna be Howard, Go ahead, Nick, Well,
- 25:10Speaker 1: the problem is is that they are about to come
- 25:14Speaker 1: to blows. But they won't. It ain't gonna last anybody
- 25:17Speaker 1: else now, it's just tearing and and Edrid well all
- 25:23Speaker 1: my money, Well, we want you to talk to him. Before.
- 25:29Speaker 1: I'm putting money on mine right here, that boards straight
- 25:33Speaker 1: out of here. He gonna he gonna beat the slave
- 25:41Speaker 1: on the auditives. Anyway, move along. I'm sorry, I didn't
- 25:51Speaker 1: know gonna go that way. The old right over this,
- 26:04Speaker 1: you sneaking in the quarters that night. Anyway, this church,
- 26:10Speaker 1: and yes, I'm sure I'm cool with that. Run it
- 26:19Speaker 1: on all right. I don't really want to be the
- 26:23Speaker 1: bearer of bad news, but the congregation is asking for
- 26:27Speaker 1: me to be their new pastor because they don't think
- 26:32Speaker 1: you're taking the church seriously anymore. Would you consider stepping down? Right?
- 26:37Speaker 1: We all know the elswer to that why we're bringing
- 26:40Speaker 1: it forward. She's not gonna be the first of all,
- 26:46Speaker 1: we're leaving the podium the same height as it is now.
- 26:52Speaker 1: I'm putting it in head. Don't get the overseas. I guess.
- 27:02Speaker 1: I guess I'll take that back to the take that
- 27:07Speaker 1: back to take that back our three white members, that
- 27:15Speaker 1: members he had to change. We're at the capital on
- 27:18Speaker 1: January six. They won't I support and asking if we
- 27:22Speaker 1: can get Benjamin turning Benjamin Crump to plead their cases.
- 27:27Speaker 1: It's not gonna happen now. And as far as your
- 27:33Speaker 1: ass being a member here. Now you can stop saying
- 27:35Speaker 1: that while he was climbing over that wall, you should
- 27:41Speaker 1: have found a new church to climb into because you
- 27:44Speaker 1: out of the jackpot joint of Jerufe, you might have
- 27:48Speaker 1: will a head on. That raccoon had falls uncles. One
- 27:57Speaker 1: of them is one of him is the biking guy.
- 28:04Speaker 1: I just thought I exactly who I thought it was.
- 28:06Speaker 1: And the other white one had his feet up on
- 28:09Speaker 1: their SI polotic desk. Get his ass too. A matter fact,
- 28:13Speaker 1: we're cooperating with the FBI and the Special Department of
- 28:17Speaker 1: Justice or committee on or January sixth. A matter of fact,
- 28:21Speaker 1: I'm breaking nude. I'm heading up the committee. Amen. But
- 28:27Speaker 1: well they dont a trouble in trouble too. I got
- 28:32Speaker 1: the whole tape for him telling them we all to
- 28:34Speaker 1: go down there. Why they act here in this tape
- 28:37Speaker 1: is everywhere now passed it? Do we want to pay
- 28:40Speaker 1: pray Donald Trump? Did we want to happen? Proud for him?
- 28:48Speaker 1: Already have him so far as working. The indictments is
- 28:51Speaker 1: coming in, Thank you Lord. We gotta stop committed for God.
- 29:02Speaker 1: Indictments good coming up at the top of the hour.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Entertainment and we'll have some national news right after this.
- 29:12Speaker 1: You're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show. Philadelphia native
- 29:18Speaker 1: iconic rapper, actress and television host Eve Our Girl, Eve
- 29:23Speaker 1: is expecting her first child with her husband, Maximillion Cooper.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Max has four children from a previous marriage, but he
- 29:30Speaker 1: and Eve have been trying to have a child for
- 29:32Speaker 1: quite a while now. They've been married since twenty fourteen,
- 29:36Speaker 1: and we're happy for them both. That is really really
- 29:39Speaker 1: good news. Eve is due in February. He was a
- 29:42Speaker 1: nice person. Yeah, so first you do not succeed. Keep trying,
- 29:51Speaker 1: keep trying. And congratulations again to Usher and his girlfriend
- 29:56Speaker 1: on the birth of their son, Cyre Castrello. The couple
- 30:00Speaker 1: welcome their baby boy on September twenty ninth. Sire Castrello. Yes,
- 30:07Speaker 1: they also have a one year old daughter, Sovereign Bow.
- 30:10Speaker 1: Sovereign Bow. You know, I'm gonna have a baby named
- 30:14Speaker 1: Mystical Equation. Mystical Equation. Okay, there's two things wrong with
- 30:20Speaker 1: that with that. First, first, you have you having a baby.
- 30:25Speaker 1: That's wrong. I kill muscle a creole, a creole spurping
- 30:38Speaker 1: Steve about a bassinet. What Courcy communicating with no words,
- 30:47Speaker 1: we cry, you mean whole met stroller? Stroller all right?
- 30:59Speaker 1: Also in other news, we're gonna move on here. Actor
- 31:02Speaker 1: Jesse Smalett his last ditch effort now to have a
- 31:06Speaker 1: judge dismissed his criminal case was denied. It has been denied.
- 31:10Speaker 1: A grand jury indeed a Smallett in March back in
- 31:14Speaker 1: twenty nineteen for disorderly conduct after he made a false
- 31:17Speaker 1: report to police about being the victim of a racist
- 31:20Speaker 1: and homophobic hate crime. All charges were unexpectedly dropped just
- 31:25Speaker 1: weeks later, sparking outrage. We all remember this. The case, however,
- 31:29Speaker 1: was revived by a special prosecutor and Smallett was again
- 31:33Speaker 1: charged with disorderly conduct. Jesse's attorney said his rights were
- 31:37Speaker 1: being violated since he had already performed community service and
- 31:41Speaker 1: forfeited a ten thousand dollars bond under a previous deal
- 31:45Speaker 1: to drop the charges in Cook County. In court Friday,
- 31:48Speaker 1: Smallett's attorney said, hey, a deal's a deal. That's ancient principle.
- 31:53Speaker 1: But Judge James Lynn said the case is now being
- 31:56Speaker 1: led by a special prosecutor appointed by another judge. He
- 32:00Speaker 1: would not upset that arrangement. Therefore, Jesse's criminal case will
- 32:04Speaker 1: move forward. Wow. I thought, you know, yeah, yeah, I
- 32:08Speaker 1: thought he had a deal myself. So you know, once
- 32:10Speaker 1: he did the deal and did the community service and
- 32:13Speaker 1: pay the money, I thought that was it. But they
- 32:16Speaker 1: were so angry with this guy. They just gonna they're
- 32:18Speaker 1: gonna try to make an example out of them. But
- 32:21Speaker 1: you know, y'all, y'all, y'all letting police officers go with
- 32:25Speaker 1: killing black thoms. So I'm okay with Jesse's smully going home. Man,
- 32:31Speaker 1: y'all were sitting a bit, we got way. Look and
- 32:34Speaker 1: it happened a while back, and he did a deal
- 32:36Speaker 1: and he paid the money and he did the community
- 32:39Speaker 1: shop and he was wrong very much so because you
- 32:43Speaker 1: know what I mean, started a firestorm and it was
- 32:46Speaker 1: a victimless crime. So what he had American said he
- 32:50Speaker 1: had a mega hat on when you know what they
- 32:52Speaker 1: say with the hat on actually saying, do they driving
- 32:55Speaker 1: the crowds and kill people with cars and it and
- 32:58Speaker 1: they climb over walls at the y'all do that fix?
- 33:01Speaker 1: January six, Instead of trying to fix the Jesse Smullet case,
- 33:07Speaker 1: I want to see some convictions at some time, sir,
- 33:10Speaker 1: for breaking up into that building. If there was black
- 33:14Speaker 1: people man want, they still be locked up for that. Yeah,
- 33:19Speaker 1: all right, Steve, We're gonna move on here. Time for headlines,
- 33:22Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. Miss Anne trip okay, thank you very
- 33:25Speaker 1: very much. Authorities say that a group of American Christian
- 33:28Speaker 1: missionaries has been kidnapped in Haiti. According to the BBC,
- 33:32Speaker 1: at least fifteen men, women and children were abducted from
- 33:34Speaker 1: a bus right after visiting an orphanage. Haiti has one
- 33:38Speaker 1: of the highest kidnap rates in the world, with powerful
- 33:41Speaker 1: gangs exploiting the currently unsettled political and chaotic situation down
- 33:46Speaker 1: there to make money off ransom payments. Since the assassination
- 33:49Speaker 1: of President Moisse, rival gangs have been trying to gain
- 33:52Speaker 1: control of the country. The Biden administration right now working
- 33:55Speaker 1: with Haitian authorities as they are to get those people back.
- 33:59Speaker 1: Jury's election begins in Brunswick, Georgia today for the three
- 34:02Speaker 1: white men accused of murdering an innocent, unarmed black jargon
- 34:05Speaker 1: named Armed Aubury back in February twenty twenty. Aubrey chased
- 34:09Speaker 1: down for no reason by white men in pickup trucks,
- 34:12Speaker 1: cornered and shot to death. They claimed Aubrey was a
- 34:16Speaker 1: thief and that they murdered him in self defense. That's
- 34:18Speaker 1: despite the fact that prosecute to say Aubrey had no
- 34:21Speaker 1: stolen goods on him and wasn't armed with anything. No
- 34:25Speaker 1: charges brought against the defendants for three months, and only
- 34:28Speaker 1: after the story went national passor John Perry is the
- 34:31Speaker 1: former head of the local NAACP. They were given a
- 34:34Speaker 1: courtesy that the normal citizen would not have received, and
- 34:38Speaker 1: particularly in the black community, if you were found to
- 34:42Speaker 1: have killed someone, you know you're getting handcuffed and you're
- 34:46Speaker 1: getting booked armed. Aubrey just one more in the name
- 34:49Speaker 1: of his horrific list, including Brianna Taylor, Trayvon Martin, and
- 34:53Speaker 1: George Floyd far President Trump has been called to testify
- 34:56Speaker 1: under opened by video today in connection with a civil lawsuit.
- 35:00Speaker 1: The case in question dates back to before Trump was
- 35:02Speaker 1: elected commander in chief, stemming from a twenty fifteen altercation
- 35:05Speaker 1: outside Manhattan's Trump Towers, when a group of Mexican demonstrators
- 35:09Speaker 1: say they were roughed up by Trump's security guards. They
- 35:12Speaker 1: claimed Trump was responsible because his guards were acting on
- 35:14Speaker 1: his behalf, and a judge agreed that there was evidence
- 35:17Speaker 1: to suggest it. Trump has denied any wrongdoing, and the
- 35:20Speaker 1: trial could begin before the year is out. We have
- 35:22Speaker 1: no word actually if he's going to testify today or not.
- 35:26Speaker 1: The demonstrates were very upset because he had called Mexican
- 35:29Speaker 1: immigrants rapists and drug dealers. Police in Houston are still
- 35:32Speaker 1: searching for a gunman who shot three police deputies on Saturday,
- 35:36Speaker 1: killing one of them, leaving the other two hospitalized. One
- 35:39Speaker 1: man in custody. However, reportedly authorities don't consider him the shooter.
- 35:43Speaker 1: President Clinton, the former president, been just charged from a
- 35:46Speaker 1: southern California hospital where he's been under treatment for an
- 35:49Speaker 1: infection since last Tuesday. He's to finish his treatment up
- 35:52Speaker 1: in New York and finally, well maybe major Hollywood studios
- 35:56Speaker 1: and union crew members tendantly agreed to a new contract,
- 35:59Speaker 1: but it's not signed. Stay tuned. Now back to the
- 36:01Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 36:04Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, guys, we're gonna do something different here.
- 36:08Speaker 1: We're gonna play a game of would you rather Okay,

- 39:19Speaker 1: upstate New York, billionaire Bill Gates's oldest daughter got married.
- 39:23Speaker 1: It was on her one hundred and twenty four acre
- 39:25Speaker 1: horse farm that her father bought her. Design crews and
- 39:29Speaker 1: wedding planners created a lavish venue and spared no expense,
- 39:33Speaker 1: of course not Reportedly, four new buildings were built on
- 39:37Speaker 1: the property, massive pavilions with Florida ceiling windows and a
- 39:42Speaker 1: large semicircular stage. Weeks of construction caused a problem with
- 39:47Speaker 1: the neighbors, so the wedding planner extended invitations to the
- 39:50Speaker 1: neighbors and delivered restaurant gift vouchers and bottles of wine
- 39:53Speaker 1: with personalized apologies. So, Steve, you've had two daughters to
- 39:59Speaker 1: get married, and we've been to those weddings. Did you
- 40:01Speaker 1: spare any expense like Bill Gates? How Well, I ain't
- 40:05Speaker 1: got Bill Gates money, of course, probably my maid with
- 40:08Speaker 1: my daughters was I promised him, I give them the
- 40:10Speaker 1: day of their dreams. What I should have put it
- 40:13Speaker 1: was a budget attached to it. What should a wedding cost?
- 40:18Speaker 1: What should it? Really? Not as much as they do. Yeah,
- 40:23Speaker 1: the problem is you keep adding, and I mean like like, like,
- 40:27Speaker 1: what's a good number fifty thousand dollars for yo? Let's
- 40:32Speaker 1: let's you're not gonna get away with that. You stop
- 40:35Speaker 1: that right now? You can stop that. Yeah, you have
- 40:40Speaker 1: rolls royces. Stop uh. Whatever the car costs get up
- 40:46Speaker 1: in that range. There's threesome? Are you crazy? But one
- 40:51Speaker 1: day watch? Oh oh my god. Okay, I should want
- 40:58Speaker 1: to hear when Sydney coming in and tell you that's
- 41:00Speaker 1: what she wants. I want to hear your dumb mass
- 41:02Speaker 1: say no, I don't want when you held as his baby.
- 41:09Speaker 1: I want to hear it. I want to hear no.
- 41:13Speaker 1: And she's such a great kid anyway, straight A's all
- 41:17Speaker 1: of that. No problems at all with her. None. Ain't
- 41:20Speaker 1: like our sons come in to ask for that boy.
- 41:26Speaker 1: You wouldn't if he come in here for fifty dollars
- 41:28Speaker 1: for what? She didn't fifty dollars fire? What what the
- 41:37Speaker 1: hell costs exactly fifty exactly? What about shoot you and
- 41:43Speaker 1: you're in your nephew, Why don't Hell no, he an't
- 41:47Speaker 1: got no drivers license. He's still uber at eighteen. Hell
- 41:50Speaker 1: no himself to the stove. No he ubers everywhere, a
- 41:56Speaker 1: lot of kids, he said, Yeah, they do that. You
- 41:58Speaker 1: don't have no drive like nothing. He don't need no money.
- 42:01Speaker 1: You had any job, but my pay is count No, mom,
- 42:05Speaker 1: do you know how much? If what the thrill I had?
- 42:09Speaker 1: But my mom would send me around the corner at
- 42:11Speaker 1: sixteen in the car. Yeah, get something? Do you know
- 42:14Speaker 1: the thrill I had? He was asking, Oh, I forgot
- 42:18Speaker 1: some episode. Let me go back and get the rest
- 42:20Speaker 1: of you want? You want a garlic pot? I bought
- 42:23Speaker 1: garlics out. Let me go get the garlic poder up. Yeah,
- 42:25Speaker 1: I get a receipt. Man. Because you everybody had to
- 42:30Speaker 1: see you in the dayborhood, everybody to see you. You
- 42:33Speaker 1: took the long way around the whole neighborhood. Man. Drive.
- 42:38Speaker 1: Oh my god. Yeah, that was such freedom, the freedom.
- 42:42Speaker 1: Don't do that no more. Three hundred thousand dollars. Way, boy,
- 42:49Speaker 1: I'm not gonna believe high school. Add up the venue
- 42:53Speaker 1: the number of guests. You got the plates per plate.
- 42:56Speaker 1: Then you got to decorate the place. Then she probably
- 42:58Speaker 1: gonna want to have it at the church in the
- 42:59Speaker 1: set convenion. Then you gotta get caused. Then she got
- 43:02Speaker 1: browed apart. You got a pre dinner. Then you got

- 43:08Speaker 1: and all the bridesmaid's got to fly that's youth. The

- 45:39Speaker 1: That scared me. Your trash, Your trash stinks. Let's go
- 45:44Speaker 1: cat dog. Hello. Hello, Hey, I'm trying to I'm trying
- 45:49Speaker 1: to read swerve. Yeah. How you doing, man, I'm on it.
- 45:54Speaker 1: I'm one of your neighbors, but I'm one street over
- 45:56Speaker 1: from you. You over the river n dry Yeah, that's right?
- 46:02Speaker 1: Little is this rico? Man? How are you doing? I'm
- 46:04Speaker 1: one of your neighbors on the next street though. How
- 46:06Speaker 1: are you doing? Okay, I'm doing good? But how you
- 46:08Speaker 1: how you getting my Another one of the neighbors on
- 46:11Speaker 1: your block gave me the number. Man. We was we
- 46:12Speaker 1: were having a little situation. Wanted to reach out to you, Uh,
- 46:16Speaker 1: some stuff going on here in the neighborhood, man, and
- 46:18Speaker 1: wanted to try to make you aware of it. Well,
- 46:20Speaker 1: what what's going on? Uh? It seemed like, um, well,
- 46:24Speaker 1: you know the trash man run on on Tuesday, okay
- 46:27Speaker 1: and Saturday. Right now. The problem is that that that
- 46:32Speaker 1: that a lot of people. I guess since the holiday
- 46:34Speaker 1: just passed. You know a lot of people got their
- 46:36Speaker 1: stuff out on the on the curve already right right now.
- 46:41Speaker 1: The problem is that that that they're saying, man, is
- 46:44Speaker 1: that yo yo trash is actually really really fouled. It's
- 46:48Speaker 1: smelling and smelling pretty bad. And we wanted to call you,
- 46:51Speaker 1: man and see if you do not hold on. You
- 46:55Speaker 1: say you calling me because you smell my trash. Well yeah,
- 46:59Speaker 1: they say, you're just the one that's really stinking man.
- 47:01Speaker 1: And if you could actually maybe put it in, put
- 47:03Speaker 1: it back in the in the in the garage and
- 47:05Speaker 1: tip tuesday, you know, no trash and no garade. That's
- 47:09Speaker 1: why I put it outside. I didn't have enough room
- 47:11Speaker 1: in the garage. Okay, see that man, who is everybody
- 47:14Speaker 1: saying my trash saying? Hey, listen, I'm saying I'm not

- 47:35Speaker 1: I pay rent over here, my brother. Hey, we're not
- 47:38Speaker 1: gonna go back, and I'm not gonna go back. I

- 47:46Speaker 1: Well listen, man, aren't you concerned that you're trans is
- 47:49Speaker 1: thinking and reading through the whole neighborhood. I don't give
- 47:51Speaker 1: a damn who smell my chances they got a problem
- 47:54Speaker 1: with it, telling them come take it out? Still the end,
- 47:56Speaker 1: it's saying out there, okay, whether that's the problem. The
- 47:59Speaker 1: problem is that you took it out, and you took
- 48:01Speaker 1: it out too early. You shouldn't have put this out
- 48:03Speaker 1: till Tuesday morning, and now duny inside it. If I
- 48:08Speaker 1: put it out there, it's saying out esterday, come get it.
- 48:10Speaker 1: I'm not gonna go back and forth with you, man, Okay,
- 48:13Speaker 1: even damn what you're gonna do. You ain't gonna call

- 48:19Speaker 1: How if everybody's smelling my trad out of everybody on
- 48:22Speaker 1: the I don't know for my understanding, it's just a
- 48:26Speaker 1: couple of holes in it and some food or something
- 48:28Speaker 1: much that got out. I don't know if one of
- 48:30Speaker 1: the roads or dog got into the what the case
- 48:32Speaker 1: may be. But you know we need to try to
- 48:34Speaker 1: get your trash in the backyard. My trash ain't going

- 49:01Speaker 1: we listen, litten swerve, just we we decide on the
- 49:03Speaker 1: case we got to this situation with you, How I
- 49:06Speaker 1: trust that I just come over there and put the
- 49:09Speaker 1: trash in your backyard and just tuesday morning and Tuesday morning,
- 49:12Speaker 1: I'll come back over there and take it out that way,

- 49:26Speaker 1: me take it this. If you come over here, you
- 49:28Speaker 1: might well call holies. That's who you gonna need. You
- 49:31Speaker 1: come over here, bring all of them. They had a
- 49:33Speaker 1: father saying my trash to come over here and take
- 49:36Speaker 1: it out. We man, you, I mean you. You're trying.
- 49:38Speaker 1: You're trying to you're trying to act like it don't smell. Man,
- 49:41Speaker 1: I don't give it. If this smell, I'll tell you
- 49:43Speaker 1: what I do. I'll go out to pool flu So
- 49:45Speaker 1: when that when that when they helped you out of
- 49:47Speaker 1: live here? Okay, But see that's not what the people
- 49:50Speaker 1: in the neighborhood want. We want you to give a
- 49:52Speaker 1: damn what take walk? I'm telling you what I'm gonna do.
- 49:55Speaker 1: And how to did you get my phone over y down?
- 49:58Speaker 1: I'd already told you, man, I got you number for
- 50:00Speaker 1: one of the neighbors on your street that said they
- 50:02Speaker 1: don't want to get should have left one right? Which one? Listen? Listen, listen, swerve.
- 50:09Speaker 1: Won't you get to the meet of the problem. The
- 50:11Speaker 1: problem is your trash? Think don't how is my chand
- 50:14Speaker 1: how the hell y'all pillpoint my chad out of everybody

- 50:21Speaker 1: I don't know if you're trads busted, o't open up
- 50:23Speaker 1: what the deal is. But everybody's saying everybody's saying it
- 50:26Speaker 1: swerve tradsh that's that's think that's too much pads that
- 50:30Speaker 1: needs to be gone. Do time and see what I think.
- 50:32Speaker 1: It's back chad out there and it's gonna say out
- 50:35Speaker 1: there I said it, ain't come get it and you

- 50:48Speaker 1: to come on, get the chads. And if I tell
- 50:50Speaker 1: you what, put y'all over here right now, I'll put
- 50:52Speaker 1: on my shoes. I'm standing on the points right now.
- 50:54Speaker 1: Bring at the close. Come on, Rico over, Rico. I'm
- 50:59Speaker 1: Rico on one street and I'm smelling your nash trash man,
- 51:03Speaker 1: take your chash out my make smell. But you ain't
- 51:06Speaker 1: gonna come take it out. I set you that. He

- 51:33Speaker 1: talk about of my name and swear? Come over here.
- 51:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna show you what I'm gonna do. Okay, way
- 51:38Speaker 1: then it is what it is. Bottom line, I'm on
- 51:40Speaker 1: my way over at the moon. That damn trash come up,
- 51:42Speaker 1: Come over here, come over here, moving. I'm on the
- 51:44Speaker 1: points right, Nah, come on over there, meet me at

- 53:57Speaker 1: it could be yours, could be yours. Buckle up and
- 54:01Speaker 1: hold on tight. We got it. Poor you here at
- 54:03Speaker 1: ease Strawberry lettas thank you enough. Subject he doesn't want
- 54:07Speaker 1: his ex to hate him. Dear Stephen Shirley, I've been
- 54:11Speaker 1: dating a man for almost two years, and I won't
- 54:14Speaker 1: move in with him until I get a ring and
- 54:16Speaker 1: he's fully over his ex. He was in a ten
- 54:20Speaker 1: year relationship when we met, and he said that he
- 54:23Speaker 1: was just looking for reason to leave. He said that
- 54:26Speaker 1: he doesn't love her and would never marry her because
- 54:29Speaker 1: she has anger issues and she started smoking cigarettes. We
- 54:33Speaker 1: became the best of friends and I helped him work
- 54:36Speaker 1: through the breakup with her. About six months after he
- 54:39Speaker 1: was officially done with her, he asked me to be
- 54:42Speaker 1: his girlfriend. We are in our mid forties, so I
- 54:45Speaker 1: told him I wasn't going to date him unless his
- 54:48Speaker 1: intention was to eventually get married. He promised that his
- 54:52Speaker 1: goal for us was for us to be husband and wife.
- 54:56Speaker 1: But he has a problem. It's his ex girlfriend. She
- 55:00Speaker 1: calls him to then about her problems at work, or
- 55:03Speaker 1: she'll call him to tell him good news about her son. Basically,
- 55:07Speaker 1: any reason is a good reason for her to call him.
- 55:10Speaker 1: I have asked him why he takes her calls, and
- 55:12Speaker 1: he said it's because he doesn't want her to hate him.
- 55:15Speaker 1: He said he still wants to maintain a friendship with
- 55:18Speaker 1: her because he was with her for so long. There
- 55:22Speaker 1: have been times that she calls and he will go
- 55:24Speaker 1: into the kitchen to talk to her, and if I
- 55:26Speaker 1: listen in, I hear him telling her to let stuff
- 55:29Speaker 1: go and not let stuff bother her. I've told him
- 55:33Speaker 1: many times that she's still got him wrapped around her finger,
- 55:37Speaker 1: but he says it ain't. So I have told him
- 55:40Speaker 1: that he only needs to worry about me and make
- 55:43Speaker 1: sure I don't hate him. I don't think he still
- 55:46Speaker 1: wants her because he talks to her in front of
- 55:48Speaker 1: me ninety eight percent of the time. But what about
- 55:51Speaker 1: that two percent that I don't get to hear. Should
- 55:54Speaker 1: I worry about him backsliding with her? Well, I mean
- 55:58Speaker 1: there's definitely a possibility because they still have that connection.
- 56:02Speaker 1: That phone connection seems pretty strong. But you know you're
- 56:06Speaker 1: putting up with this. I mean, you're you're not saying
- 56:09Speaker 1: anything or really you know, doing too much when he
- 56:13Speaker 1: is talking to him, and I think this letter is
- 56:16Speaker 1: really about the two of them, not the two of you,
- 56:20Speaker 1: not you and him. You don't need to move in
- 56:23Speaker 1: with him because basically, I think if you did at
- 56:26Speaker 1: this point, it would be like a threesome. Because he
- 56:28Speaker 1: spends so much time with her, it's more like you
- 56:32Speaker 1: him and her in this situation. It doesn't matter whether
- 56:35Speaker 1: he talks to her in front of you or not.
- 56:37Speaker 1: He shouldn't be talking to her at all at this point.
- 56:41Speaker 1: He should have let that go. Like he told her
- 56:43Speaker 1: to let those things go, he should do it too.
- 56:46Speaker 1: I don't think neither of them have let anything go.
- 56:49Speaker 1: The truth is he obviously does still have feelings for
- 56:52Speaker 1: her and doesn't see or care that this is totally
- 56:55Speaker 1: disrespectful to you and you, guys, is a relationship. I
- 56:59Speaker 1: think you need to tell him that you've had it
- 57:01Speaker 1: with her calling him and him talking to her, and
- 57:05Speaker 1: he needs to act like it because he's with you now.
- 57:08Speaker 1: I mean, what happened to your plans about getting a
- 57:10Speaker 1: ring and becoming husband and wife and all of that.
- 57:14Speaker 1: You haven't even talked about those things lately, have you.
- 57:18Speaker 1: I don't think it's gonna happen as long as she's
- 57:20Speaker 1: in the picture, and she needs to go, and if
- 57:22Speaker 1: she doesn't go, you need to go. Steve Wow, Well
- 57:30Speaker 1: I don't. I don't get anything about this letter, to
- 57:35Speaker 1: be honest with you, he doesn't want his ex to
- 57:39Speaker 1: hate him. I ain't wont man hate me either, But
- 57:44Speaker 1: it ain't work out like that. The hate is real,
- 57:50Speaker 1: as real as it can get, you know, I hate
- 57:57Speaker 1: trid to be moore exact. Hate is not a strong
- 58:01Speaker 1: enough word that has happened in my life before. Oh
- 58:08Speaker 1: repudiate h I'm trying to think a word to despise.
- 58:15Speaker 1: Uh yeah, disdained? H hope the worst for you? What
- 58:24Speaker 1: praying for your undoing? You die that? Yeah? Oh oh
- 58:29Speaker 1: here you hope you die. A matter of fact, I
- 58:31Speaker 1: will attempt several attempts on your life. I've had that.
- 58:35Speaker 1: So this little punk ass letter, you don't rot? Yeah,
- 58:41Speaker 1: this did it? Like? Wait, did a little pooty put
- 58:43Speaker 1: letter right here? The ruddy poot right here. Boy, this
- 58:46Speaker 1: ain't nothing right. Uh, you've been dating a man for
- 58:50Speaker 1: two years and you ain't gonna move an m until
- 58:53Speaker 1: you get you ain't gonna move in with him until
- 58:54Speaker 1: you get a ring. And he's fully over his ex.
- 58:58Speaker 1: He was in a ten year relationship when we said.
- 59:00Speaker 1: He was he was looking for a reason to leave.
- 59:04Speaker 1: Excuse me, he couldn't think of something. This is what
- 59:09Speaker 1: I don't understand this. Right here, he said, you know,
- 59:13Speaker 1: he was in a tenue relationship when we met, and
- 59:15Speaker 1: he was just looking for a reason to leave. He
- 59:18Speaker 1: couldn't think of nothing. I could. He said that he
- 59:24Speaker 1: don't love her, would never marry her because she got
- 59:26Speaker 1: anger issues, and he started to start smoking cigarettes. I
- 59:30Speaker 1: think what the real problem with this letter is he
- 59:34Speaker 1: don't want his actually hate him because he's scared of him.
- 59:38Speaker 1: I think he's scared of this woman with this anger management.
- 59:41Speaker 1: He trying to take cool because she got something hanging
- 59:43Speaker 1: over on his head. That's what I think this whole
- 59:46Speaker 1: thing is about. Because I don't give a damn how
- 59:48Speaker 1: you feel about me, miss me with your love. I
- 59:51Speaker 1: don't give a damn if you ever consider me again.
- 59:54Speaker 1: Bye for Licia, We come back out be there. I'm
- 59:59Speaker 1: an expert on it's right here. Okay, Steve, One thing
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: this letter is not about you. Feel like it though,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: Bring off to hate him? Who don't? I tried that route.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: It don't work. All right, Well, we'll have part two
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: of Steve's response coming up with twenty three minutes after
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: he doesn't want his ex to hate him. We'll get
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening show, all right,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter. Uh. The
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: subject is he doesn't want his ex to hate him? Yeah?
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: This man right his he's got it so confused. He
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: don't want his ex to hate him? Man, get in line, homing.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: It don't always work like that. In a tenure relationship,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: when he met and he said he was just looking
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: for a reason to leave. Like I said before, he
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: couldn't thank or something. He said he didn't love her
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: and never would mar her because she has anger issues
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: and started smoking cigarettes. So y'all became the best of friends.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: You helped him work through the breakup. And then about
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: six months after this, efficially down where he asked you
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: to be his girlfriend. Were I med forties and I
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: told him I wasn't gonna date unless his intention was
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: eventually getting married. You're in your forties, he was, He
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: was girlfriend. He was in a relationship with a woman
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: that was a girlfriend, so he liked girlfriends. That's what
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: they was in a ten year relationship. They wasn't married,
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: so Dave was Dave was girlfriends. Now he got you
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: you like he liked girlfriends. Yeah, he don't like wives
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: and commitments. He liked girlfriends, forty year old girlfriends. That's
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: cute anyway. I told him I wasn't gonna date hi
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: unless his intention was eventually getting married. He promised that
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: his goal was us to be husband and wife. But
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: he has a problem. It's his ex girlfriend. She caused
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: him to vent about her problems at work, or she
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: called them tell him good news about her son. Basically,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: any reason is a good reason for her to call him.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: I ask him why he wants why he takes her calls,
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: and he said it's because he doesn't want her to
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: hate him. This is the key to the letter. He
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: don't want her to hate him. The reason they broke
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: up is because she starts smoking cigarettes and has anger issues.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: Ain't nothing worse than a mad ass woman smoking a cigarette.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: I got that cigarette just dangling on the tip of
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: her time. I'll tell you one thing. When I see her,
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: I swear to God him m keilly. Soon I get
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: my hand. KI got that cigarette, the dangl to tick
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: a tip her lip like your uncle that work on calls.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: You know, I think with that cigarette, I tell you
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: what I tell what you have? Fred? You have Fred?
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: But I'm here. I walked through. I woked him by
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: the aird. But that but that cigarette, that cigarette just
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: be talking the whole time. She talking, that cigarette going
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: up down, ashes flicking off on her dress and stuff.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: But she mad. He's scared up. He is scared of Hug.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: He don't want Hut and hate him. He say he
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: still want to maintain a friendship with her because he
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: was with her for so long. But what they gotta
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: do it if you want to maintain the friendship, she
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: shouldn't stay with her. But he said a minute ago,
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: he was just looking for a reason to leave because
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: he's scared of Hull. He's she crazy. That's why he
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: got to talk her down off the bridge when he called.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: He got to go in the kitchen. Baby, stop letting
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: everything bother you. Stop talking about killing people. Stop. Baby,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: can't kill everybody in time to get mad at you.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: You got to stop this. Baby, stop this to No,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: you shouldn't kill hum so what she won the same
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: dress to work with you. Baby, Stop baby, baby, Baby,
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: Hold up, baby, Baby, stop smoking him damn cigarettes now, baby,
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: were talking the phone up, Baby, Baby, we're talking. Don't
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: blow the smoke in my face. Don't do this. I know,
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: I know, I know, baby. I'm still cool with you.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: Don't I'm still cool with you because because me and
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: you were cool, you ain't got to say all that.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: You ain't got to You ain't got to call my
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: job no more. Don't call down no no mold. Stop
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: saying stuff like that. Baby, I look, I'm still okay.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: Just don't download nothing else on Facebook around me. Leave.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna talk with you. I still love your son.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: You know, still I was. I was saying his life
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: for ten years. I know he's twenty five. That's okay.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: He can still call me that. Baby. I promise you
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: ain't gonna change. Baby. Hold on I'll be off in
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: a minute. Look I'm talking. I was talking to talking
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: to my to my, to my, a woman in here
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: because she she my woman and me and you broke up. Baby,
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: I said, give me a minute now, Look, she and
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: that tripping. I just let me talk to her because
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: you know, I'm child. I'm trying to maintain this friendship
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: with us because me and you we've been cool all
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: this time. Huh. I know. I know you got something
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: on me. I know that, but you ain't gotta keep
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: saying that dough. Oh my god, baby, looking, wait a minute, baby,
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: I was talking to her now, but I can't make here.

- 1:06:36Speaker 1: I hear you Load, I hear you load. N I
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: know what She'll stop putting Bill listen and let's just talk.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: Coming up next more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: right after this running your you're listening to the Steve
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. The National GOP came to Cardi B's
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: defense after Cardi tweeted last Thursday that she's going to
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: stop sharing her political views. Carti tweeted, I was tired
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: of getting bullied by the Republicans and also getting bashed
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: by the same people I was standing up for. Paris Denard,
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: a National GOP spokesperson, told TMZ that Carti should continue
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: talking politics because if she stops, young people will also
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: be scared to express themselves for fear of backlash from
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: Democrats and Republicans alike. Denard insists that having an influencer
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: like Cardi B sets an example for others, particularly young people.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: So here's the question, what do you guys think about
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: that Cardi B is an influencer because she has been,
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: especially during the last election. I may not think she's
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: an important voice. All voices are important because we have
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: to combat what's going on. And you know, listen, man,
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: you have to combat the lies. You can't just sit
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: still and just let the lie get told the election
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: was stolen. No it wasn't, it wasn't. And here's a deal.
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: The right has some some some some decent viewpoints, the
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: left has some different viewpoints. We got to find the
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: ground where we both can exist. Everything Joe Biden do
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: ain't wrong just cause you a Republican. But they're making
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: but they're politicizing stuff they're politicize and the vaccination they politicize,
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: and you know, the vaccine, what hies that a political
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: a person to have the right to do what they
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: want to do. Man, y'all miss me with that. But
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: then you turn around and you tell a woman what
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: she got to do with her body when it comes
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: to and to come so everything else, you get your
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: pick and choose what you want to do with your body.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: But now when it comes to abortion, you're gonna try
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: to ram that down everybody's throat. But the hypocrisy of
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: that statement right there is right. It is a known
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: fact that Republicans get just as many abortions as do Democrats.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: This man, stop this acting, but you get them evangelicals
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: all fired up. They ask gets abortions to right, put
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: it down on paper. Promise you they do them people
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: is gay to y'all sitting up here an act like
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: something wrong with being gay because you're evangelical. But you
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: gay too, So stop this foolishness, man, and then y'all
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: will not stand up for anything that happened to black people.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: Evangelicals don't raise their voice against racism or police brutality.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: So miss me when you raise your voice against anything else,
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: because all y'all doing that too, every last one of y'all.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: Bet you send me the facts that say you ain't,
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: because I bet you is. Uncle Steve said, yeah, so
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: curtiebe keep doing what you're doing. Girl. Hell yeah me too.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: Watch this after that hour for of the Steve Harvey
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: Morning Show. Right after this, you're listening to the Steve

- 1:11:09Speaker 1: I think, take that money and make that money, make money.

- 1:12:26Speaker 1: in front of them, I'm going out. You're gonna fake
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: your death? What Why wouldn't I? I can't. They can't.

- 1:20:13Speaker 1: You better put them kids over there with that spouse. Yeah,
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: that was because that'd be a strange looking little girl. Man,
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: she has some pretty hair, though. Damn, baby, you look
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: jail like Junior. I don't string you look jes like
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: your uncle Steve. Yeah, but Tommy would send his wife
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: to jail? Man? Really, guys, I'm gonna go see ya
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: on the weekend. What is the problem. Would you rather
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: sending your wife to jail? I have her cheat on jail, Frank, Frank,
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: but she's going to jail. I'm sorry, that's the one
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: I'm choosing. Okay, thank you. If I have to go
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: to jail, right, somebody's gonna end up in jail during
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: this prank. I see that now. Yeah, and I bet
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: not find that you in there and then and hooked
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: up with somebody. We then we really got another problem.
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: She's coming to the window introducing you. Who is regainer?
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: Who the hell is Regina? Your friends were regaining that? Huh? Yeah,
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: we're free for the body. My bad, My bad, my bad.
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: That's exactly what I need. To go ahead on now ignorant.
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: You know you get out in six months your old locus.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: Let me put let me, let me put something on
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: your books. Dog my bad? Okay o, man, I like spice,
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: say how I cheat those hey? You know inclosing? Let
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: me say this to people. Yeah, just try to I
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: don't know how when people ask me for advice on
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: success career, on my marriage, on my ability to reinvent myself,
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: on my ability to remain relevant, I don't know how
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: I can answer this question and not mention faith. I
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: just don't know how. Uh and so. And I can
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: see the look on some people's face when they come
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: to no, no, no. I was talking about, like, what's
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: my next move? Who should I talk to? Your next
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: move should be to talk to God. I'm telling you man,
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: somebody came to me and they attend therapy, which I
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: have no problem with. I think it's really greatful a
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: lot of people, So please understand what I'm saying. And
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: I'm saying this up top. And they said, Steve, have
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: you ever gone to therapy? And I said, yeah, man,
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: quite a few times. And they said, well, who did
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: you go? See? I said, I see, I went to God.
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: And he went, no, I'm talking about when you going
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: to therapy God, and my faith has been my therapy.
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: Now I'm not saying you shouldn't go see a therapist.
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: Please don't understand, because if that's working for you, that's fine.
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: But when they asked me about and I told him
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: I had gone. But my therapist has always been God.
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: I have not taken a problem that I've had to
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: God and he didn't have a solution. I've not needed
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: to talk to God in prayer and he was ever
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: too busy to hear me. That has been my therapy
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: my entire life. I've had some people close to me
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: talking about will you go to therapy for me? I've
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: talked to therapists for people. But do you know what,
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: and I kid you not. I'm not making this up.
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: I'm not saying it's just because we're on the radio.
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: Every therapist I've ever talked to you know what they
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: told me after we got through talking to me, you
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: won't have to come here anymore, mister Herber. You seem
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: to be fine, thank you. But I knew that before
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: I came here. But I went for the person because
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: I care about the person, and they felt like it
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: would help them. So I went to a session with it,
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: and I got no problem once again with going to therapy.
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: I think it works for a lot of people. My
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: therapy has always been my Heavenly Father, my faith, my
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: understanding of prayer, my understanding of meditation, my understanding of
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: sitting down and writing down my dreams and visions. But nothing,
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: nothing has helped me more in my life than prayer. Nothing,
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: not a single thing. So when you come to me
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: and you ask Uncle Steve about success, what he did,
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: what's your next move? I just don't know how I
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: can ever talk to a person without mentioning faith. I
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: just don't know how, y'all. I really don't. And I'm
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: not telling you once again before you start getting in
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: an email bag and dealing me and all this your
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: comments about therapy. Don't worry about my comments about therapy.
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: I'm telling you about mine. If you have a therapist,
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: I'm one percent down with you, and I think it
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: benefits a lot of people. I am not knocking it,
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: but there is no better therapist than your heavenly Father.
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: If you have the faith, he's available. If you need
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: somebody to listen, he's always available. If you need somebody
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: that got a real answer for you. His answers is
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: immediate and fail proof. He will never tell you wrong,
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: and he already know what you need. He ain't got
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: to wait on you to tell him what's wrong and
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: then feed the information back to you. To y'all both
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: come to a conclusion. He could tell you right away
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: what's going on. It's about faith. Y'all develop a relationship
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: with God and it can change your whole trajectory in life,
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: and it starts immediately. Your faith works. Now those are
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: my clothes remarks. Y'all have a good one. Man. We'll
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: see y'all tomorrow. Kate for all Steve Every contests No
