- 1:41Speaker 1: them out. Turn you got to turn out to turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: turn water to the water. Got come come on your thing,
- 2:01Speaker 1: h I sure will. I come horned everybody you are
- 2:06Speaker 1: listening to the voice, come on dig me now, one
- 2:09Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey, Oh yeah, man, got a radio show.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Do you understand that? I'm telling you God been big
- 2:17Speaker 1: in my life. I'm not gonna kid you. I'm telling
- 2:19Speaker 1: you in here to do the same thing for you. God.
- 2:23Speaker 1: God is a gentleman, you know. I want to I
- 2:25Speaker 1: want to point that out to you. God is an
- 2:28Speaker 1: absolute gentleman. He will not come in unless he's invited.
- 2:35Speaker 1: He don't just barge into your life. He gives us
- 2:39Speaker 1: the power of choice. You know, if you say you
- 2:43Speaker 1: got it, I don't need you. He let you have it.
- 2:46Speaker 1: If you say I need you, come see about me.
- 2:49Speaker 1: He right there. It's just a real simple thing. Man.
- 2:54Speaker 1: So always say to people this if you've gotten yourself
- 2:58Speaker 1: into something, and please know I have. I was stuck.
- 3:05Speaker 1: I thought a couple of times, well, might not make
- 3:10Speaker 1: it past this one. But then if I don't make
- 3:13Speaker 1: it past it, what's gonna happen? And then I held
- 3:17Speaker 1: on to this little thing that my mother kept talking
- 3:20Speaker 1: to me about. She said, sometimes, so when you ain't
- 3:23Speaker 1: got nothing else in you, just hope, she said, Just
- 3:27Speaker 1: hope it'll be all right, you know. And what I've
- 3:30Speaker 1: learned in my life is that hope. It's the beginning
- 3:33Speaker 1: of faith. Hope. It's just is there a possibility out
- 3:39Speaker 1: there for me? I sure hope something happened. See hope,
- 3:46Speaker 1: hope it's okay, man, Because like I say, for me,
- 3:51Speaker 1: the way I've lived my life, hope was the beginning
- 3:53Speaker 1: of faith. It was just the idea. It's just the
- 3:57Speaker 1: thought that something could change from me, that something could
- 4:00Speaker 1: be a little bit different from me, that maybe, man,
- 4:04Speaker 1: just maybe for some reason, I could be saved, I
- 4:08Speaker 1: could be rescued. Things could turn around, it could head
- 4:12Speaker 1: any other direction. Maybe I could quit messing up. Maybe
- 4:16Speaker 1: somebody will forgive me, Maybe somebody will just say all right.
- 4:21Speaker 1: I don't know, but I can't count the times I've
- 4:24Speaker 1: been in that position. But then once I hope a
- 4:27Speaker 1: little bit, and then I remember also my mother, because
- 4:29Speaker 1: she was a Sunday school teacher, she taught me the
- 4:33Speaker 1: most valuable lesson I've ever learned in my life. Nothing
- 4:36Speaker 1: has been greater in my life than my faith. She
- 4:39Speaker 1: taught me to pray. Mamma used to say, when it
- 4:42Speaker 1: get real, dog for your son, prad changes things. She said,
- 4:46Speaker 1: When you seem like you lost and you can't finding
- 4:49Speaker 1: your way, stop and pray, she said, because prad changes things.
- 4:55Speaker 1: You know, when you get a point in your life
- 4:57Speaker 1: when you've done all you can do and you can't
- 4:58Speaker 1: do no more, and you I don't know what to
- 5:01Speaker 1: do next, she says, stop suh, pray and combine that
- 5:06Speaker 1: prayer with that hope that you got, she said, because
- 5:10Speaker 1: that hope is the beginning of faith. She said. If
- 5:13Speaker 1: you pray just hoping, she's saying that God come through
- 5:17Speaker 1: for you. That will give you confidence that he can
- 5:20Speaker 1: do it again. And then after a while you quit hoping,
- 5:23Speaker 1: she's saying, you start believing. She saying, that's when you're
- 5:26Speaker 1: on to something. If you can turn that hope into belief,
- 5:31Speaker 1: that hope into faith, the ability to believe in something
- 5:35Speaker 1: that you can't see. But the key though the faith
- 5:38Speaker 1: is you're believing in something that you can't see. See
- 5:43Speaker 1: hoping a little bit different from me now, I'm pretty sure,
- 5:46Speaker 1: Like I say oftentimes to tell a lot of people
- 5:48Speaker 1: who can explain this thing a lot better than I
- 5:50Speaker 1: can to you, but just from my side of it,
- 5:54Speaker 1: being as real as I can be rich. See, hope
- 5:57Speaker 1: helps man. If you ain't strong enough to have, have hope,
- 6:01Speaker 1: and then if you pray with some hope and God
- 6:04Speaker 1: answers your prayer, then that hope gains a little confidence
- 6:08Speaker 1: and after a while that confidence becomes faith. Now ain't
- 6:13Speaker 1: just hoping, but I'm believing. I'm believing in something that
- 6:17Speaker 1: I cannot see. Faith has been the key to my
- 6:24Speaker 1: entire existence, even when I didn't have any It was faith,
- 6:30Speaker 1: as I look back on it, that has gotten me here,
- 6:34Speaker 1: and not just faith, but my faith. See, you will
- 6:38Speaker 1: only get to where you're going in your life based
- 6:42Speaker 1: on your faith. See A lot of people get the
- 6:46Speaker 1: word faith confused, like what's your faith? And then they
- 6:49Speaker 1: started going down this whole list of all these different
- 6:52Speaker 1: religions out here, But really an essence. Man, when I
- 6:55Speaker 1: talk to people about faith, I'm talking to you about
- 6:59Speaker 1: your your belief. How much do you believe in the unseen?
- 7:06Speaker 1: How much do you believe in the things you can't see?
- 7:09Speaker 1: How much do you believe in the impossible? How much
- 7:13Speaker 1: do you believe see? Because faith is the belief in
- 7:19Speaker 1: things that you cannot see. Faith is the core of
- 7:25Speaker 1: all that is happening to me today. It is the
- 7:28Speaker 1: faith that I have in my relationship with God that
- 7:32Speaker 1: enables me to just oftentimes, if I stay on the
- 7:38Speaker 1: right course and believe a certain way and act a
- 7:42Speaker 1: certain way, his blessings just poor. They just come. And
- 7:48Speaker 1: it comes in a lot of little ways too. I've
- 7:50Speaker 1: started to notice, see it ain't just a lot of
- 7:53Speaker 1: people think blessings is money. Now now, man, that ain't it.
- 7:57Speaker 1: It's coverage. It's every time my plan ain't land safe.
- 8:02Speaker 1: It's every time they predict bad weather and I get
- 8:05Speaker 1: up in the sky and it don't be no bad weather.
- 8:08Speaker 1: You know this, This is favor. These are blessings that
- 8:12Speaker 1: get poured out to me. Somebody call me and offer
- 8:16Speaker 1: me something, not money, but an opportunity. You know. Somebody say, hey, man,
- 8:23Speaker 1: I don't know, but I sent this to you. I
- 8:25Speaker 1: thought you might be interested in it. Somebody has sent
- 8:27Speaker 1: me a scripture, or somebody will send me something that's favor,
- 8:32Speaker 1: and it always comes at a time when I need
- 8:35Speaker 1: it the most. That's favor, that's pouring out blessings. Now
- 8:40Speaker 1: I'm also the recipient of a lot of other blessings too.
- 8:45Speaker 1: You know, I've been blessed with health. That's amazing blessing. Man.
- 8:49Speaker 1: I've been blessed with a spirit of not quitting. I've
- 8:53Speaker 1: been blessed with the ability to shoulder huge amounts of responsibility. See,
- 9:00Speaker 1: blessings come a lot of ways. But once you tie
- 9:04Speaker 1: into God, once you tie in and you start doing
- 9:09Speaker 1: the best you can do, and you start asking for
- 9:12Speaker 1: him to make you a better person, to help shape
- 9:15Speaker 1: and mold you into the kind of man or person
- 9:19Speaker 1: that he wants you to be. You be amazed what
- 9:21Speaker 1: God can do with you. Man, if you just invite
- 9:24Speaker 1: me in and allow him to be a part of
- 9:26Speaker 1: your life. I mean, what you got to lose out there?
- 9:29Speaker 1: Come on, if you're sitting in the cell this morning,
- 9:32Speaker 1: why why would you not change? You have a chance
- 9:36Speaker 1: to turn your life around with a relationship with God.
- 9:38Speaker 1: What you're waiting on? Are you gonna just keep doing
- 9:41Speaker 1: it like that? Huh? Really? Come on, man, why would
- 9:45Speaker 1: you do that to yourself? Why would you not allow
- 9:48Speaker 1: God to be a part of your life so you
- 9:51Speaker 1: can get the way He want you to be. God
- 9:52Speaker 1: got some big plans for you. If he didn't, you
- 9:55Speaker 1: wouldn't keep waking up morning everybody. You ain't had no
- 10:19Speaker 1: fitness trying to hold it anyway. I don't know what
- 10:23Speaker 1: he now. You get into sum and you can't stop
- 10:26Speaker 1: my my my body was going, Okay, that's enough. That
- 10:30Speaker 1: is enough. Good morning everybody, Good morning showing, Shrubberry and

- 14:16Speaker 1: Anonymous writes, I'm a forty seven year old married man
- 14:18Speaker 1: and my parents owe me a large sum of money.
- 14:23Speaker 1: My parents had a fire last year in the backyard
- 14:25Speaker 1: and it damaged the back of the house. I paid
- 14:28Speaker 1: to have most of the repairs done and their insurance
- 14:30Speaker 1: paid the rest. My dad was supposed to pay me
- 14:33Speaker 1: in December, but he hasn't. My wife nags me constantly
- 14:38Speaker 1: to confront my parents, but I'm not going to do that.
- 14:41Speaker 1: How do I get my wife to be more respectful?
- 14:44Speaker 1: You need to break it down to your wife and
- 14:47Speaker 1: let them let her know what your parents. There's a
- 14:50Speaker 1: song out Paul, no charge, remember that gospel song, No charge,
- 14:57Speaker 1: no child, no damn charge, And tell your wife your
- 15:02Speaker 1: parents don't owe you nothing nothing. Chalk it up as
- 15:06Speaker 1: you're able to take care of your mama and daddy.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Now you don't take care of her parents. That's on her.
- 15:12Speaker 1: If her mom and you got to come out, tell
- 15:16Speaker 1: you gotta go both ways time. If they house burned down,
- 15:21Speaker 1: you gotta help them too. I don't time man changed
- 15:26Speaker 1: the philosophy. What you're gonna do, what you gonna do,
- 15:29Speaker 1: what your own? Yeah, when her mom and daddy needs
- 15:34Speaker 1: some money, Oh no, Nam and daddy, that's that's gone.
- 15:41Speaker 1: You don't even look. Yeah, your mom and daddy, you
- 15:43Speaker 1: got it. That's done. You'll never get that back. Yeah,
- 15:45Speaker 1: chalk that up. Smiley, gotta love that name. Smiley and
- 15:49Speaker 1: Tampa says. I'm in my mid sixties and I've been
- 15:52Speaker 1: in the hospital for a week and my girlfriend has
- 15:55Speaker 1: been staying with me. I woke up in the middle
- 15:58Speaker 1: of the night last night and she was gone. When
- 16:01Speaker 1: I got up this morning, she was back. My handsome
- 16:05Speaker 1: young doctor came in and thanked her for helping him
- 16:08Speaker 1: stay awake last night. I tried to hide my anger,
- 16:11Speaker 1: but I've seen how she looks at him. She's forty
- 16:14Speaker 1: one and still very sexy. I told her not to
- 16:17Speaker 1: stay overnight in my room anymore, and she called me paranoid.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Should I be paranoid or not? Look, your ass is
- 16:24Speaker 1: sit and damn you can do Okay, it's nothing nothing,
- 16:30Speaker 1: there's nothing. You can barely blow the paper off a straw,
- 16:35Speaker 1: so there ain't nothing. Then to him, can he can
- 16:41Speaker 1: he rode down the hallways and do in the morning,
- 16:44Speaker 1: manly you can bally open your jello. There ain't nothing
- 16:49Speaker 1: you can do. Okay, but they did it though you
- 16:53Speaker 1: know they did it, and the fine young doc they
- 16:59Speaker 1: did it. Not only that that don't keep yours in
- 17:03Speaker 1: the hospital as long as he kid that's right, more tests.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Looks like we're gonna have to keep you a little
- 17:16Speaker 1: somebody else working reading surgery and everything open words of complications.
- 17:24Speaker 1: In the words of a great singer, you got your feelings.
- 17:27Speaker 1: That's what you need to do, all right? All right? Well,
- 17:33Speaker 1: moving on. Cara in San Diego or carap says, I
- 17:37Speaker 1: recently moved to a new area and I'm trying to
- 17:39Speaker 1: meet people and make friends. I've had a nice man
- 17:42Speaker 1: and he's been showing me around the city. The only
- 17:45Speaker 1: problem is he's married, and I don't want to get
- 17:48Speaker 1: too attached to him. He said his wife is open
- 17:50Speaker 1: to him having female friends, and he wants me to
- 17:53Speaker 1: meet her. My mom said, it sounds like they're in
- 17:57Speaker 1: an open relationship, and I need to be careful. Should
- 18:00Speaker 1: I come out and ask him or steer clear of him?
- 18:03Speaker 1: Bitcher Man I can't wait for this response. Don't listen
- 18:07Speaker 1: to your mom, The man said, his wife already gave him. Okay,
- 18:10Speaker 1: you need to meet new people. That's where you moved
- 18:12Speaker 1: to a new town to meet new damn people. You
- 18:16Speaker 1: met a person, You met a person who wants you
- 18:19Speaker 1: to meet other people, and now you're holding back what
- 18:29Speaker 1: You've met a nice guy who showed you the town,
- 18:31Speaker 1: and now he says, I have more people for you
- 18:34Speaker 1: to meet, and you like, I don't know that you
- 18:41Speaker 1: hated when people don't see naked invitations. Thank you, thank you. Yeah,
- 18:46Speaker 1: your mama to stay out of this. You met a
- 18:49Speaker 1: nice man who showing you the town, and he just said,
- 18:53Speaker 1: I have other people for you to meet. I don't
- 18:55Speaker 1: mean the people, so it don't matter if it's his
- 18:59Speaker 1: wife and that don't go ahead on Matt. Yeah, that's
- 19:02Speaker 1: even better. They're friendly. That's in San Diego, in case
- 19:14Speaker 1: you guys forgotten that quick, okay. Terriica Terrica in high
- 19:21Speaker 1: Point as we move on, says, my brother and sister
- 19:24Speaker 1: in law are divorcing and it's tearing my family apart.
- 19:28Speaker 1: My sister in law cheated with my first cousin and
- 19:31Speaker 1: it happened to be in my guest bedroom. So my
- 19:34Speaker 1: brother blames me for not stopping it. I didn't know
- 19:38Speaker 1: they had slipped away to have sex. That was the
- 19:42Speaker 1: furthest thing from my mind. Shouldn't he be more upset
- 19:46Speaker 1: with our cousin and a wife and my cousin are
- 19:49Speaker 1: still messing around. But my brother blames me. What's up
- 19:53Speaker 1: with that? You supposed to be You supposed to be
- 20:00Speaker 1: in charge of who's doing who in the house. And
- 20:03Speaker 1: if you don't keep an eye out, well who's doing who?
- 20:08Speaker 1: You're slipping on your responsibility, sir, as a mailing, you
- 20:12Speaker 1: are slipping You open these doors, we don't shut no
- 20:18Speaker 1: toes round we're going yeah, yeah, everybody needs be in
- 20:23Speaker 1: the same room, saying, keep my eye on you. You know.
- 20:27Speaker 1: So you're agreeing with her brother. You think this is
- 20:30Speaker 1: it's his fault. It is his her fault. The rooms
- 20:36Speaker 1: in here, that's what happened. You live at Hilf Point, Yeah,
- 20:39Speaker 1: cautin furniture, and every y'all took quiet back that what
- 20:43Speaker 1: you're doing back the breathing? All right, all right, thank you,
- 20:49Speaker 1: bitter man. You lived up to your disclaimer. You did
- 20:53Speaker 1: not help the soul, all right, coming up next, the
- 20:57Speaker 1: nephew would run that frank back right after. You're listening
- 21:01Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the

- 22:39Speaker 1: I'm not at liberty to speak upon that. But but
- 22:42Speaker 1: what I was doing is getting around and making sure
- 22:45Speaker 1: I met everyone because I haven't met everyone yet and
- 22:48Speaker 1: I wanted to reach out to um everyone at the church.
- 22:52Speaker 1: But listen, let me, let me get down to some
- 22:54Speaker 1: more business. Because I've spoken with the pastor. Uh that's
- 23:00Speaker 1: a bishop, yes, bishop, yes, man, I know you knew,
- 23:03Speaker 1: but it's bishop Okay. I spoke with him on yesterday
- 23:08Speaker 1: and we have narrowed some things down over a few
- 23:12Speaker 1: changes we're going to be making at the church. And
- 23:14Speaker 1: what we want to do is um. One of the
- 23:17Speaker 1: major subjects that have come up, sous to please that
- 23:20Speaker 1: we're wanting you, if at all possible, and the deacons
- 23:24Speaker 1: were in on this meeting as well, but wanting you
- 23:26Speaker 1: to change your attitude when people are coming in and
- 23:30Speaker 1: you're seating them. From my understanding, it's gotten to the
- 23:32Speaker 1: point where they think you're wait wait wait wait wait,
- 23:35Speaker 1: wait wait a minute, wait a minute, thank you. I've
- 23:37Speaker 1: had a meeting on meet Well, it wasn't a meeting.
- 23:39Speaker 1: I don't want to listen here. I've been ushering on
- 23:42Speaker 1: that on a usher board for forty seven years. I
- 23:46Speaker 1: am the senor usher on that unsherboard, and I literally
- 23:50Speaker 1: I've been trying to be nuts about it. But I
- 23:51Speaker 1: don't understand how y'all don't have a meeting without me.
- 23:56Speaker 1: But now you're gonna call him and tell me that
- 24:00Speaker 1: having a meeting on me about me being nice, always nice, Well, ma'am,
- 24:05Speaker 1: that doesn't seem to be a problem with that. Sounds
- 24:09Speaker 1: twenty seven? Man, can't they some bar to call me?
- 24:14Speaker 1: Don't make no type of what is it? Well, what
- 24:18Speaker 1: that's actually my call, man, is that maybe we figured
- 24:21Speaker 1: if I would call and speak with you about the matter,
- 24:23Speaker 1: that maybe we can get to some type of rectifying
- 24:28Speaker 1: this situation to where we can we gonna rectify here.
- 24:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna rectify you calling me this time a night
- 24:34Speaker 1: taught my some meeting. Just don't make no time. I
- 24:37Speaker 1: don't appationate you calling me any time a night way
- 24:42Speaker 1: is Bishop, I need to speaks. I've been at this
- 24:48Speaker 1: church a part of seven years. I haven't say, Oh
- 24:50Speaker 1: my life, this don't make no type of sense. You
- 24:52Speaker 1: calling me here with this man. No y'all going to
- 24:55Speaker 1: make me cause I'm trying to be a question. But
- 24:58Speaker 1: y'all not gonna cost me be a Chris. You just
- 25:00Speaker 1: gonna just gonna agitate me with this mess for telling
- 25:03Speaker 1: me about something. Be nice, Mamber. That's saying that they're
- 25:06Speaker 1: having problems when you're seating the people, and that's all
- 25:09Speaker 1: that we're trying to get rectified. People don't want to
- 25:12Speaker 1: sit down. They want to go over here, they want
- 25:14Speaker 1: to go up there. They want to have the children
- 25:16Speaker 1: runner two and through. It's like a bunch of demons
- 25:18Speaker 1: a while he just bucking around in a turch like
- 25:20Speaker 1: they ain't got no sense. And I'm not gonna have
- 25:23Speaker 1: it in my sextion. My section is gonna be straight.
- 25:26Speaker 1: And I understand. Let you know what, since the h
- 25:29Speaker 1: I think if we did this, if you would do
- 25:31Speaker 1: me a favor and hold your phone, and if you
- 25:33Speaker 1: would just bow your head right now for me, maybe
- 25:36Speaker 1: we can come to to get to get the man up.
- 25:39Speaker 1: What am I bound my head? That's clean, baby, if
- 25:44Speaker 1: we can get your lords, it's clean. It's hospital corfe it.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Don't make no fence for what if I bound my head?
- 25:49Speaker 1: If you could, maybe if you could close your eyes
- 25:52Speaker 1: since the want close my said, you call me and
- 25:56Speaker 1: won't be here by to my fleet with this mess
- 25:58Speaker 1: I'm meeting. I am very knowed at this and I
- 26:01Speaker 1: don't appreciate it. I'm gonna tell you right now, I'm
- 26:03Speaker 1: gonna speak to me now. Father. We asked that you
- 26:06Speaker 1: look down up on some stick. We asked that you
- 26:08Speaker 1: look down upon her right now, right now, asking that
- 26:12Speaker 1: you put a smile on her face on Sunday morning,
- 26:15Speaker 1: asking that you put some joy in her heart on
- 26:18Speaker 1: Sunday morning, asking that you draw all the pain that
- 26:22Speaker 1: she in the Anglish that she might be going through,
- 26:24Speaker 1: whatever demon there is inside. We asked that you draw
- 26:28Speaker 1: that demon out. We asked that you pour that demon
- 26:31Speaker 1: went away from stet right now. In your name, we
- 26:35Speaker 1: ask all of these blessings to come, because I don't
- 26:38Speaker 1: appreciate this boy. I don't even know who you is.
- 26:41Speaker 1: You number. A pastor gave me the number one and
- 26:44Speaker 1: asked me to call I am like I said, I'm
- 26:46Speaker 1: Sean Williams. We haven't met yet, and I am the news.
- 26:49Speaker 1: He don't, he don't. He don't act that way. And
- 26:51Speaker 1: it's bishop. For the third time. I've told you, boy,
- 26:54Speaker 1: bishable be respectful of the folks. See, that's what makes
- 26:57Speaker 1: me angry. Let me let me let me say this
- 26:59Speaker 1: right here, sister, and maybe this will shed some light
- 27:04Speaker 1: on things a little bit clearer. I'm trying to listen
- 27:06Speaker 1: to you. Boy ahead, this is nephew Timmy from Steve

- 28:08Speaker 1: we get sister. How we do that? We do we
- 28:13Speaker 1: will do a plank on her bills. I paying a
- 28:16Speaker 1: couple of bills, you know, because she show a little
- 28:22Speaker 1: her business. What is the baddest radio show in the land,
- 28:28Speaker 1: The Steve Harved Morning Show and look timing and Hardy
- 28:33Speaker 1: Mother love sharing him little devil. She is so cute.
- 28:36Speaker 1: I love this is so y'all. I'm so sorry at
- 28:41Speaker 1: please forgive me crazy. I did pray on that thing.
- 28:49Speaker 1: I'm nothing shuts down a Christian like a prayer man. Well,
- 29:00Speaker 1: thank the Lord, No, especially when they start without even
- 29:04Speaker 1: talking to you, fathera God. Right now, Hey, wait a minute,
- 29:09Speaker 1: what happened to value head? Please wait and close your eyes? Yes, yes, wow,
- 29:15Speaker 1: all right, nephew, thank you. Coming up at the top
- 29:17Speaker 1: of the hour entertainment of national news for you. Right
- 29:20Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show.
- 29:25Speaker 1: All right. So New York Governor Andrew Cuomo gave his
- 29:28Speaker 1: own address and defended himself before he announced his resignation.
- 29:33Speaker 1: It is effective in two weeks. Wow. Although although Cuomo
- 29:38Speaker 1: insists he is a fighter and wanted to fight the allegations.
- 29:40Speaker 1: He says he will step down for the good of
- 29:43Speaker 1: the state. He said, the best way I can help
- 29:45Speaker 1: now is if I step aside and the government get
- 29:47Speaker 1: back to governing, and therefore that's what I'll do. Lieutenant
- 29:52Speaker 1: Governor Kathie Houlkel will take over. She will be the
- 29:55Speaker 1: first female governor in the state's history. So congratulations going
- 30:00Speaker 1: out to her girl's power. Yes, she's a real strong
- 30:04Speaker 1: candidate to keep that job. She's already visited all the
- 30:07Speaker 1: counties up there in New York. Yeah, he's on the
- 30:09Speaker 1: top of it. So I think the Republicans would have
- 30:12Speaker 1: a hard time trying to put somebody up another guy
- 30:15Speaker 1: to beat her. She she kind of saw the writing
- 30:17Speaker 1: on the wall, and she's like, you know, people don't
- 30:21Speaker 1: really know her. So this is a good time for
- 30:24Speaker 1: you know, female right. So yeah, he did the right
- 30:28Speaker 1: thing to step down, though. Yeah, yeah, you know who,
- 30:32Speaker 1: I feel sorry for them. I just feel sorry for
- 30:34Speaker 1: his brother, man, Chris's Yeah, you just call that bad situation,
- 30:39Speaker 1: you right. He is and he's a journalist, and he's
- 30:43Speaker 1: a and he's a good one, you know, he's a
- 30:45Speaker 1: good one. Yeah, And he's an attorney. Yeah, but the
- 30:48Speaker 1: rules have to apply. Yeah, I'm sorry. If my suster
- 30:53Speaker 1: do something like this, I'm on the news the next
- 30:56Speaker 1: damn day talking about it. I no loyalty. Let my sister.
- 31:06Speaker 1: I would be I would be the first team exclusive. Yeah, yeah,
- 31:11Speaker 1: breaking the news. Yeah, I'm gonna have a big pitch
- 31:14Speaker 1: of my sister behind me. Look at my damn sister,
- 31:17Speaker 1: so Ja and Julia. So by the time it's over,
- 31:19Speaker 1: you you lead ankle. By the time you just oh yeah,
- 31:26Speaker 1: I wait for the question to finish. Time. And she
- 31:28Speaker 1: did it. She did she already, She's been doing it
- 31:31Speaker 1: a whole life. She did tell them how you did? Yeah,
- 31:37Speaker 1: she did now and now she's not speaking to me
- 31:41Speaker 1: for what she did. Can y'all gonna leave the nerve? Oh? Man,
- 31:50Speaker 1: what your mother say about your sister? Jay? Oh, my sister.
- 31:53Speaker 1: My mother was my mother. My sister was the favorite
- 31:56Speaker 1: because my sister was an honest student all the way
- 31:59Speaker 1: through straight aged, straight age with the college on a scholarship,
- 32:05Speaker 1: graduated from college. You know, but I always got my
- 32:08Speaker 1: sister back. I was able to give my sister my
- 32:10Speaker 1: mother way better gifts than my sister. It just thrilled me.
- 32:16Speaker 1: What you get, Mama, telling she said, I gave a car,
- 32:19Speaker 1: and I'm that I bought a car. How about face
- 32:24Speaker 1: in your face, your open that, I'm you win where
- 32:35Speaker 1: you can win here what you buy? Mom? I bought
- 32:37Speaker 1: her a house in your face? Yeah, I send MoMA
- 32:45Speaker 1: on a trip. Yeah yeah. And your sister, you were
- 32:50Speaker 1: busted her out right on national team. That is interest
- 32:58Speaker 1: or anything like that. Jay, Huh, that's a conflict of interest. No, no,
- 33:04Speaker 1: we ain't no, not mean no. Let let my sister
- 33:07Speaker 1: mess up. And she's a Christian person, go to church
- 33:10Speaker 1: every suddenly prayed straight up. But if she ever slipped,
- 33:14Speaker 1: that's her ass. That is he stupid. All right, Jay,
- 33:23Speaker 1: with your crazy felp, let's go to miss Anne. Please.
- 33:27Speaker 1: She hurt everybody. It's time for miss and trip. She'd
- 33:30Speaker 1: be talking about my sister check it out exactly. And
- 33:34Speaker 1: I'm not talking about my brother. I love my brother.
- 33:37Speaker 1: This is a trip with the news. Looks like President
- 33:39Speaker 1: Biden secured the strong bipartisan support in the Senate that
- 33:42Speaker 1: he was hoping for his one trillion dollar traditional infrastructure
- 33:46Speaker 1: bill that's for bridges and roads and stuff like that.
- 33:48Speaker 1: But the Senate also passed the Democrats three and a
- 33:52Speaker 1: half trillion dollars so called Human Infrastructure Bill overnight strictly
- 33:57Speaker 1: along party lines, which means the Democrats vote for them.
- 33:59Speaker 1: In the Publicans did not vote for it, but there
- 34:01Speaker 1: were more Democrats than the majority, just by one hair.
- 34:04Speaker 1: But any way, it passed. And that includes money for
- 34:07Speaker 1: things like paid family leave and affordable housing and stuff
- 34:09Speaker 1: like that that the President says we need as a
- 34:11Speaker 1: human infrastructure measure. New York States Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo,
- 34:16Speaker 1: as you just heard, announced his resignation yesterday. That was
- 34:20Speaker 1: after months of resisting calls to step down for members
- 34:22Speaker 1: of his own party, including the President and White House
- 34:26Speaker 1: spokesperson Jen Psaki says that mister Biden didn't know that
- 34:29Speaker 1: the governor was going to throw in the towel, but
- 34:31Speaker 1: she provide her own reaction to the situation. This is
- 34:34Speaker 1: a story about these courageous women who came forward, told
- 34:38Speaker 1: their stories, shared their stories, and an investigation overseen by
- 34:44Speaker 1: the Attorney General that of course concluded today, an outcome
- 34:49Speaker 1: that the President called for. Just last week, Governor Cuomo
- 34:52Speaker 1: faced impeachment but still denies engaging in any egregious behavior,
- 34:56Speaker 1: though he does acknowledge. He says behaving it in ways
- 34:59Speaker 1: that maybe we're out dated and insensitive, but he says
- 35:02Speaker 1: he's leaving for the good of the people. Best way
- 35:04Speaker 1: I can help now is if I step aside and
- 35:08Speaker 1: let government get back to governing. Governor Cuomo still faces
- 35:13Speaker 1: possible misdemeanor sexual harassment charges in Albany County. That's in
- 35:17Speaker 1: New York State. Dominion Voting Systems is suing two far
- 35:21Speaker 1: right media companies for lying. Dominion cuses Newsmax Media Inc.
- 35:25Speaker 1: And one American news network of spreading lies that the
- 35:28Speaker 1: dominions of people supposedly rig their machines in favor of
- 35:31Speaker 1: Joe Biden. They say that's a lie. The voting machine
- 35:34Speaker 1: company also suing overstock dot COM's former chief exect Patrick Byrne.
- 35:38Speaker 1: Dominion is see king more than one point six billion
- 35:41Speaker 1: dollars in damages from each suit, and apparently well known
- 35:45Speaker 1: white nationalist has been kicked out of the US military.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Was discovered he'd been rolled in the Air Force, and
- 35:49Speaker 1: he said he had to go. Sean McCaffrey has a
- 35:51Speaker 1: page and a website of five far right stuff talking
- 35:54Speaker 1: about hate against women, Jews, blacks, everybody, and today is
- 35:57Speaker 1: the day we shamed a devil. Well, shame on you. Goodbye.
- 36:04Speaker 1: Now back to Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening Steve
- 36:08Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, Tommy, it is your boy,
- 36:11Speaker 1: the president and CEO of Team Tommy. Please do the
- 36:15Speaker 1: honors and introduce him. Ladies and gentlemen, We're about to

- 36:45Speaker 1: last night. Hope Flood had a nice party. Here we go. Okay,
- 36:48Speaker 1: this is a brand new comedy that I like to
- 36:50Speaker 1: call us. I'm talking to you. I'm not gonna call
- 36:53Speaker 1: your name, but you know who I'm talking to. Let
- 36:56Speaker 1: me said, ok, I'm talking to you. I'm not gonna
- 37:00Speaker 1: call your name, but you know who I'm talking to. Hey, mister.
- 37:05Speaker 1: A couple of days ago, on Instagram, you tweeted that
- 37:09Speaker 1: black people did not like you because you're in an
- 37:11Speaker 1: interracial relationship, you're married. Let me tell you something, sir,
- 37:16Speaker 1: we don't give a damn who you w. We could
- 37:21Speaker 1: care less. We love you, we respect you, we all

- 37:31Speaker 1: I can tell you right now, Shirley, do you care?
- 37:34Speaker 1: I don't give a darn Carla do you can't? Not
- 37:37Speaker 1: at all? Junior? Do you can? I just want to

- 37:44Speaker 1: I don't give a good God, no, Well there you go.
- 37:47Speaker 1: Not see that. Nobody on this show really cast what
- 37:53Speaker 1: you do, who you sleeping with, who you're changing stick,
- 37:57Speaker 1: But we don't care. We really don't give a damn. Man,
- 38:02Speaker 1: And for your information, Will Smith don't even care. I
- 38:09Speaker 1: don't know if you know it or not, but you
- 38:11Speaker 1: were not our favorite. You were not. We were surprised
- 38:16Speaker 1: how close you were to acting on the show to
- 38:18Speaker 1: your real life. We were to surprise you weren't acting.
- 38:22Speaker 1: You were playing your damn self. But he was really
- 38:26Speaker 1: really need to know. We think it's time that you
- 38:30Speaker 1: really stop doing that. Stupid ass dance. That's what we
- 38:34Speaker 1: really need to do. You reach the age where you
- 38:38Speaker 1: need to stop doing that. Look around you the only
- 38:41Speaker 1: one doing it. Nobody else is doing it. Stop doing it.
- 38:46Speaker 1: This has been I'm talking to you. I didn't call

- 40:25Speaker 1: because she goes shopping and don't tell her hood and

- 40:53Speaker 1: calmed down. She saidn't hand of water? I said, what
- 40:55Speaker 1: is the water going through? Bottle of water? She kept
- 41:01Speaker 1: pressing the button and they was like, ma'am, they're coming,
- 41:04Speaker 1: They're coming. She just kept pressing the button. When are
- 41:06Speaker 1: they coming? When are they coming? From the sip from

- 42:13Speaker 1: living there, I was going, I swear every other day
- 42:16Speaker 1: I was at a Broadway show every That's what I
- 42:19Speaker 1: like about it, timy Broadway shows. But these yeah, it's
- 42:21Speaker 1: a lot of stuff you can do. And there it's
- 42:23Speaker 1: a sit like they say, it never sleeps, never sleep.
- 42:26Speaker 1: It's always something to do. Thereways, great shop, theater, everything,
- 42:33Speaker 1: it's right there in New York City. That's why it's
- 42:35Speaker 1: And I'm I'm one of the people that if you
- 42:37Speaker 1: cooking on the street, damn, and I'm eating it, I don't.
- 42:41Speaker 1: I don't know why particularly, but it just goes to
- 42:50Speaker 1: show they've been cooking it for a long while and
- 42:52Speaker 1: if it was bad, they shut them down. They still there.
- 42:56Speaker 1: It's got to be good. So I'm not hot hot
- 42:58Speaker 1: dog and a slice. Yes, that's heaven. That's heaven right there. Yeah,
- 43:06Speaker 1: we love you New York Apple in Jersey to Jersey. Yes, yes.
- 43:14Speaker 1: And let me tell you my favorite story that I
- 43:21Speaker 1: used to ride the ferry home right across the Hudson River.
- 43:27Speaker 1: So one time, the bus driver, because you know, you
- 43:30Speaker 1: had to get on the bus and then go to
- 43:32Speaker 1: you know, ride the ferry and all that, and so
- 43:34Speaker 1: it was a whole bunch of police cars and you know, sirens,
- 43:39Speaker 1: everything going on. So I was hesitating getting on the bus,
- 43:41Speaker 1: and so I wonder, what's going on there? So I
- 43:45Speaker 1: looked at the bus driver. I said, what's happening over there?
- 43:47Speaker 1: The bus driver looked at me, he said, I don't know,
- 43:50Speaker 1: And what is this white folks moment you have? And
- 43:53Speaker 1: get on this bus and let's go. Fell I'll get
- 44:00Speaker 1: on the book h business, okay, white person. Yeah, and that,
- 44:14Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, is why we love New York. Thank
- 44:16Speaker 1: you much. Yes. Coming up next, the nephew with Today's

- 54:09Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry Letter, all right. Subject I'm in
- 54:13Speaker 1: love with the Devil. Dear Stephen Shirley. I've been married
- 54:17Speaker 1: for exactly one year to the devil. My husband is
- 54:20Speaker 1: an IT manager and I'm a veterinarian. I celebrated our
- 54:24Speaker 1: one year anniversary, and then I went to visit my
- 54:27Speaker 1: parents for the weekend. My visit was cut short when
- 54:30Speaker 1: I got a call from my neighbor saying there were
- 54:32Speaker 1: a lot of cars at my house and she knew
- 54:35Speaker 1: I was out of town. It was one am when
- 54:38Speaker 1: I got the call, so I did not bother to
- 54:40Speaker 1: call my husband. I knew something wasn't right, so I
- 54:44Speaker 1: drove home. It was a two hour drive, so I
- 54:47Speaker 1: got there around three thirty am, and I parked in
- 54:50Speaker 1: front of my neighbor's house. I walked in my front
- 54:53Speaker 1: door because the garage was down. I saw bottles of
- 54:57Speaker 1: alcohol and a little weed on the coffee table, and
- 55:01Speaker 1: my hand started shaking. As I walked towards my bedroom,
- 55:05Speaker 1: I got my bat out of the hall closet because
- 55:08Speaker 1: I knew something wasn't right. I saw my husband and
- 55:12Speaker 1: two other women asleep in my bed. Wait, that's not
- 55:18Speaker 1: even the worst part. One of the women was my
- 55:20Speaker 1: best friend. I tapped each one of them with the
- 55:25Speaker 1: bat so they would wake up. I love that My
- 55:30Speaker 1: husband jumped up first and tried to take the bat
- 55:32Speaker 1: from me. My best friend woke up and I hid
- 55:35Speaker 1: her in the back of her knees as she tried
- 55:37Speaker 1: to run to the bathroom, to my bathroom. She was
- 55:40Speaker 1: the only one I wanted to hurt because she was
- 55:42Speaker 1: my maid of honor in my wedding. There is no
- 55:47Speaker 1: way I'd ever believe my husband would do me like this.
- 55:50Speaker 1: My best friend is engaged to be married, so I
- 55:53Speaker 1: called her fiance right away and ruined her plans. I'm
- 55:58Speaker 1: most upset with my husband, and I kept asking him
- 56:01Speaker 1: why he chose my best friend. He said it was
- 56:04Speaker 1: her oral skills that got him hooked months ago. He admitted,
- 56:07Speaker 1: it's been going on for a while, and she's better
- 56:10Speaker 1: than me in bed. This hurt me to my core.
- 56:14Speaker 1: He's the devil and I want revenge. What should I do? Oh,
- 56:21Speaker 1: it's all nothing. Well, you've done a lot. I love
- 56:25Speaker 1: you getting the bat. I love that. I love you
- 56:27Speaker 1: calling her fiance and ruining her wedding. But honestly, I'm
- 56:32Speaker 1: not your revenge type of girl, okay, because life always
- 56:38Speaker 1: has a way of paying you back for your wrongs.
- 56:40Speaker 1: It just does. That's just how it goes. But let
- 56:44Speaker 1: me say, like I said, it was a smooth move
- 56:46Speaker 1: calling her fiance. That was some good revenge right there. Now.
- 56:51Speaker 1: If I were a revenge type of girl, I would
- 56:54Speaker 1: have taken her clothes and made her leave my house.
- 56:57Speaker 1: But you know what, naked, I would have taken pictures
- 57:02Speaker 1: of all three of them in my bed. I would
- 57:03Speaker 1: have sent them to her fiance and her family and
- 57:07Speaker 1: his family. Then I would have sent pictures to her
- 57:10Speaker 1: boss and all of her co workers. Then I would
- 57:14Speaker 1: have posted them all over social media with the hashtag
- 57:17Speaker 1: husband stealing STD carrying blank. I would have downloaded Shirley
- 57:24Speaker 1: Murdoch's song As We Lay, but I would have put
- 57:28Speaker 1: that with a picture, you know, the picture up there
- 57:31Speaker 1: with the song under it. All. I would have done
- 57:34Speaker 1: all of this. Let me see, did I leave anything out? Oh?
- 57:37Speaker 1: I would have gone to her church, told her pastor
- 57:39Speaker 1: and the whole congregation. Oh. I would go to the
- 57:44Speaker 1: hair salon, because you know they tell everything. I would
- 57:47Speaker 1: have gone to the hair salon where she gets her
- 57:49Speaker 1: hair done. I would have told everyone there she's sleeping
- 57:52Speaker 1: with all of her husbands and she got some sort
- 57:54Speaker 1: of nasty disease that she's spreading, so they better go
- 57:57Speaker 1: to the doctor immediately. And of course I would tell
- 58:01Speaker 1: all her other girlfriends so they could light her up,
- 58:04Speaker 1: tell her how stink she is. But then again, I'm
- 58:07Speaker 1: not your revenge type of girl. So were you so
- 58:11Speaker 1: started eight who you had a lot that you did
- 58:19Speaker 1: not do? Shirley that I'm not your revenge. You know,
- 58:23Speaker 1: I'm not a revenge now you're not into that. You're
- 58:25Speaker 1: a nice person personally. I can agree with Shirley, but
- 58:32Speaker 1: here's where I disagree. It's like a movie The Five Heartbeams.
- 58:37Speaker 1: Quoting the movie is this ain't about you j T,
- 58:41Speaker 1: which means just letting your damn party. You wouldn't even
- 58:45Speaker 1: invited to the damn party. Why you are knowing this?
- 58:49Speaker 1: You just ain't got nothing to do with you. Why
- 58:53Speaker 1: do you want to go and party swinging a batten? Everything?
- 59:00Speaker 1: Shit just ain't what he had planned when he put
- 59:03Speaker 1: a party together. Guess what y'all later on, My wife

- 59:09Speaker 1: out of every damn body. He wouldn't have had people there,
- 59:12Speaker 1: and he put that on the invitation just ain't about you.
- 59:17Speaker 1: You're gonna come in the room and make this about you.
- 59:21Speaker 1: It wasn't about you. Just ain't got nothing to do
- 59:25Speaker 1: with you and mess up up. The man had it
- 59:38Speaker 1: all plan You're the hard it is to get a
- 59:41Speaker 1: free over two freaks and a come on, that's a planning,
- 59:47Speaker 1: that's right scheduling. Thank you, just ain't got nothing to
- 59:55Speaker 1: do with you. Can't tell you what so you know
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: I read the letter. You know I will say out
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: we need to start. Did you sound like a sermon
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: at church time? It could be well, but let's thank
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: God for nosing naples, say nosing neighbors. I keep you
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: in a situation you ain't got to be in long.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: It's only one year. They still get out this marriage
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: if one fourth and you know the MTE. Girl. I
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: don't mean to call you this late, but this show
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: with a lot of activat y'all have all that music
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: out over there and hold on. We'll have part two
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: of today's Strawberry Letter, I'm in Love with the Devil,
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: at twenty three minutes after. Right after this, you're listening
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, let's
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: recap today's Strawberry Letter. The subject I'm in Love with
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: the Devil. A woman wrote in she's been married for
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: exactly one year. She says, she's been married to the devil. Um.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: They have a good marriage. She's a veterinarian, her husband's
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: an it manager. They's just celebrated their one year anniversary.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: The wife celebrated, then she went to visit her parents,
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: which is about a two hour drive away. While she
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: was there, her neighbor called and said there were a
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: lot of cars at her house. She knew she was
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: out of town. So the wife said, Okay, I'm not
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: gonna call my husband. Something doesn't feel right. I'm just
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: gonna go home because this is like one o'clock in
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: the morning. So she drives home, sees weed on the
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: coffee table, bottles of alcohol everywhere. She parked in front
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: of her neighbor's house so nobody saw her come in.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: She went right in through the front door. Her husband
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: as she went into the bedroom. But before she did that,
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: she stopped at the closet to get a bat because
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: she didn't know what she was going to run into.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: So when she got to the bedroom, she saw her
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: husband asleep with two women. One of the women was
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: her best friend, and she hit that woman in the
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: back of her knees with the bat because she was
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: set with her, especially because she was the bridesmaid. She
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: was the maid of honor and her wedding, so of
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: course she had to get hit. Then, you know, her
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: husband and woke up and tried to explain and tried
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: to take the bat from her and all of that.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: And she the best friend, was engaged to be married,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: so she called her fiance and ruined all of that.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: But she said, of course she's most upset with her husband.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: And her husband told her why he did what he
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: did because her husband, her best friend's earl game, got
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: him hooked and she's better in bed than his wife.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: She said. It hurt her to the cores and she
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: wants revenge. What should she do? I said, I'm not
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: a revenge type of girl, but I gave her a
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: couple of suggestions, but I'm not into revenge, you know.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: Jay said, it wasn't about her as the wife. And
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: of course Junior said, this sounds like a sermon. Yeah,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: and the title is what Junior, thank God for nosing nighbors.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: That's right, That's all I could tell you, thank God
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: for nosing neighbors, because you know, to know, the neighbors
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: saw the people going into the house. Jay, you know,
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: she said, So you know you and show look nice
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: where your wife fast? You know? She said, Then she
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: went and made the phone call and here you come
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: home at three thirty in the morning. But you want
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: to know about what revenge? Well, I notice you's a veterinarian,
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: which means you got access to animals. Well, since since
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: since he like cats and stuff, let's go ahead and
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: put these lines in there. Let's get these tigers in
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: this house and left the wrong round, so where he coming. Now,
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: let's see how you do with this tyger. Let's see
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: how you do with this to this line. Let's see
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: how you gonna do with you got access to animal
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: political rilla. Now we're gonna see who gonna be who
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: chest first. Then you can go ahead and get reved
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: like this, Get you somebody and go out of town
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: with and then you'll show who that is you with
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: you just post body parts like an arm. That's all
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: he sees you with, somebody with an all. Then you
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: see somebody with a chest, and y'all out on the beach.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: See that's how you get your reven. Now he at
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: home crying, worry about what you doing. Then get the divorce.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: I ain't gonna let to stay there. Yeah, since we
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: then wrote the same damn thing, let me figured back
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: that you are a veterinarian. You got access to animals,
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: so you are snakes. Ought to be in his car
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: with he on his way to work in the morning.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: As soon as he get on the pedal. You ought
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: to be snakes running everywhere. When he come on an evening,
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: kangaroo in the garage. Kick you gotta kick you are
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: you're a veterinarian, baby, you got access to everything. Possums,
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: possums in the bathroom. As soon as he come up
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: in the three of he can't handle it. You got
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: to put this pressure on it. And if you really,
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: when you really upset them pit bulls, it's gonna do
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: the work for that's gonna be. I really don't, I
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: really don't really on suggestive pit bulls. That's like a
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: bit too far. You don't want to do that, But
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: I strick I back. You won't put that in the back, y'all.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: Put these animals on his ass the same way Moses
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: did back in the day. You ought to be just
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: let it little, let it loose. Yeah, he pigs is good.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: Pigs is real good. Don't get skunks could work skunks.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: It's gonna be funky, but it's gonna be. It's gonna
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: be nice, all right, Get to help. Just I don't
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: know what. I don't know what noises skunks make up.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: They don't have to make no noise. When you got
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: that kind of fume, you don't need to make the
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: smell is once loud. You don't have to make I
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: like animal noises stuff. Well, when this tail, that's it.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: When they hit you with that, it's over with you.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: Anywhere you hear that. Boy, your ever hit a skunk
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: by mistake? You? That's something you never forget. Man, I'm
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: coming here. Wow has that happened to you? That's never
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: happened to me. Yeah, you never. Oh my god, it
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: takes weeks that normal thing. Not only does it stink,
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: it makes you itch. It's all your body. Yeah, you
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: deal it all what you're supposed to bathe and you're
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: supposed to bathe in something that was killing, but it
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: made us. Yeah, take the smell off, the and the
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: itch out. And if you don't handle tomato, just put
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: some ragou in there and rug and if the water
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: is not enough, throw some you might well cook you
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: get it out yet, It all right? Guys? Thank you

- 1:08:01Speaker 1: there's a few things worst. First of all, there is
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: a documentary documentary alert that I just watched the other day.
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: Man is really good and it tells the story. Uh
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: it's remember you remember the Malice at the Palace the
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: brawl so Netflix in Detroit with Yeah, in Detroit with
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: It happened in two thousand and four from but run
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: our Tests with Jermaine O'Neill and Stephen Jackson Man. Yeah,
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: Ben Wallace was involved in that too, and Ben Wallace
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: was in the fight too, And it tells the story
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: from the angles from the players. Remember, because that's when
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: they changed the dress code in the NBA because it
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: happened act they wanted to start wearing suits and stuff. Man,
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: if I tell you that, Jermaine O'Neill and Stephen Jackson
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: and run our test man tell the story from what
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: they had to go through and how there was no
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: security in the understand in the stadium nowhere it was
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: just them versus twenty thousand man. And I'll tell you
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: right now, Jermaine O'Neill, I got a lot of respect
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: for you, brother, because you remember Ronald tests left the
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: Pacers and went and won a championship with the Lakers,
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: and they felt like he bailed on the man. It's
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: a great story. And that would cause Reggie military tire.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: Why is such a great story, y'all have to see
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: that man. Also in other news, though, I do want
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: to talk about this because this is important. Man. You
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: know every since the rules have changed on July first,
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: that dal student athletes can use their likeness to get endorsements.
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: I'm always talk about Alabama. They always talk about all
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: these other schools at least want to shut out some
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: players from the HBCUs that's getting checks. Come on, come on, man,
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: I gotta give it up for Kyle. His name's Kyle
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: On dukes Man. He's a freshman wide receiver. He has
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: become the first HBCU athlete to sign an endorsement and
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: he's gone with both jangles. Now he plays for Johnson C.
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: Smith University. And now there are some other players. There
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: is Xabrian Moore, a wide receiver Alabama and m and
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: Gary Charles they signed the boost Mobile. They're getting phones
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: these boys. This is absolutely great. Yeah, this is a
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: nice check. And then Jackson thanky, I want to set
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: out to Antoine on three Kings grooming. This boy got
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: hair privates already at eighteen fifty. Thank you, Junior. Coming
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, we'll talk about
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: holding Grudge's nephew. Right after this, you're listening to the
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, guys and trending topics, we're
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: going to talk about holding a grudge. Writer director Quentin
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: Tarantino revealed that he has never given his mother, Connie,
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: a dime on a recent episode of the Moment with
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: Brian Coppelman that podcast, Quentin said that when he was
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: twelve years old, his mother belittled his screenwriting aspirations and
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: writing abilities, and he vowed right then to never give
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: her any money when he became famous. I go, okay, lady,
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: when I become a successful writer, you will never see
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: one penny from my success. There will be no house
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: for you. There's no occation for you, no Elvis Cadillac
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: from mommy. You get thing because you said that. Wow,
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: that's kind of rough. Okay, Okay, I don't like being
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: tad did this go? I don't like how you put
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: my name with this. I take it back now, yeah, mama,
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: my mama. That's a question with it just about holding grudges? No, yeah,
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: but but he was just saying he didn't like his
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: name tied to a period, and I get that, tummy,
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: and I take that back. But I do want to
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: ask you're you're the grudge holder on the show, so
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: I'm your neighborhood grudge hold ahead. So that's why you're immediate.
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: You know what. I try to do right by everybody.
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: I just when you cross me, you have cross to me,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: and I'm done with you once you cross me, and
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: and once I feel like and you deliberately crossed me.
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: Oh no, we're done. We're done. What's more for to
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: talk about? What? Nah? So I'm my mama though though
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: I could never do. My mama like forgiveness bone in
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: your body. You don't forgive. I'm forgiven people in the past. Yes, okay,
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: you are capable. I'm capable. I'm capable, but but but
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: depend on what they do. It depends on what was done.
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: I'm done with you when I when I when I
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: come up with an idea and you take it and
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: go make money off of it and then come look
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: at me at my face. Yeah, I'm done with you. Play,
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: I'm done. Done. Now you're getting specific, Oh yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: and you know who the hell I'm talking to. Done.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: But there's such a thing as forgiving but not forgetting
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: or forgiving and being being distant from that person. You
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: don't have to invite them back in your life. I'm
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: inviting them to you for me. I'm with you when
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: you feel you're inviting them something. When you when you
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: feel you've helped them, you out of your way to
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: help that person to do one everthing, and then you
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: find out that this person stole from you. I'm done.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: I'm finished with you. I'm done, but I'm just I'm finished,
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: you know. And every other people who get mad real
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: quick and the next minute you they'll act like you
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: didn't have an argument. That's the way I am. But
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: like you said, when I'm done, when I'm really done,
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: I'm done, you know, But you can forget someone and
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: and for you know, yeah you can. You can forgive
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: someone still and be done with them, but you could
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: forget you can, like, go ahead, I'm sorry, I won't say.
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: You know, like if I stop asking about your family,
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: your ass is done, you your mom and your kids. Nothing.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: I'm done, all the way done. I'm not doing nothing
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: for you. And I don't have I don't have no
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: long list, you know what I mean. But it's just
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: it's some people that would just try you do you crossing?
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: And I just don't like because I because I try to,
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: but don't. Don't you build that Sometimes it's good. It's
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: good to cut people loose. I mean, it is absolutely
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: absolutely have to. All I'm saying is you can forgive
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: them them and still and still mos on with your life. Okay,
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: let me ask you what is the forgiveness? Fuck? What
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: is it? Because you want to be forgiven because you're
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: not perfect? You want me to forgive you? Yes, yeah,
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: I'm not to be them, but it could be someone
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: else who you may you know a lot of mistakes.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: I ain't ross nobody. Ain't you want to be forgiven?
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: So you ask for give this time and you can
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: ask for forgive to Timmy. But you still ain't got
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: to talk to the person. Right, That's right, that's all say.
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: You ain't got to talk to I'm just gonna write it. No,
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: I forget you. I only want to talk to you.
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: I don't I don't want to. I don't want to Childishly,
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: I'm done with you, man, I'm thrown. All right, we'll
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: have more. We'll calm him down, mister hothead, and then
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: we'll have more of today brought this story of who
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: wrote this story? Right after hothead? You're listening to Steve
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show, y'all to roll this up about forgiving somebody,
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: We back up, it's about holding a grudge. Okay, y'all
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: want somebody to forgive people. But when somebody did something
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: completely disrespectful to you, why am I supposed to forgive
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: them for that? Why? Well, if you don't forgive, can
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: you let it go? Let it go, and I let
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: it go till I see them again, Yeah, till I
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: see them again. But when I see them again, this

- 1:15:39Speaker 1: want it. I don't want it. Who are you're hollering? Sorry?
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: I don't want it. I don't want My daddy is
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: to take some of that base at your voice, please
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: not your eyeballs, Jake. Y'all know, y'all got some people

- 1:16:13Speaker 1: like that, Tommy, but now this stage in my life, yeah,
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: you have to grow. But this stage in my life,
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: call this stage in my life, I'm not whooping. They ain't.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: You know what I'm gotten past, you know, okay, Because
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: I used to send some people to holler at you.

- 1:16:48Speaker 1: We'll be back right after this. You're listening to morning show.
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: A right, So New York Governor Andrew Cuomo gave his
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: own address and defended himself before he announced his resignation.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: It is effective in two weeks wow. Although although Cuomo
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: insists he is a fighter and wanted to fight the allegations,
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: he says he will step down for the good of
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: the state. He said, the best way I can help
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: now is if I step aside and the government get
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: back to governing. And therefore that's what I'll do. Lieutenant
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: Governor Kathy Hokel will take over. She will be the
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: first female governor in the state's history. So congratulations going
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: out to her girl power. Yes, he's a real strong
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: candidate to keep that job. She's already visited all the
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: counties up there in New York. Yeah, she's on top
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: of it. So I think the Republicans will have a
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: hard time trying to put somebody up another guy to
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: beat her. She she kind of saw the writing on
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: the walls, and I'm she's uncredicted. She's you know, people
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: don't really know her. Yeah, he did the right thing. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: you know who. I feel sorry for them. I just
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: feel sorry for his brother, man Chris. Yeah, you just
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: because he's not a bad situation. You're right there. He is.

- 1:18:07Speaker 1: You know, he's a good one. Yeah, and he's an attorney. Yeah,
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: but the rules have to apply. Yeah, I'm sorry if
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: my sister do something like this. I'm on the news.
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: The next damn day talking about it. No loyal teachers,
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: I would be I would be the first to teach.
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, breaking the news. Yeah, I'm gonna have a
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: big pitch of my sister behind me. Look at my
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: damn sister yea so Ja and Julius. By the time
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: it's over, you lead ankle by the time you just
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: oh yeah, I ain't wait for the question to finish. Time.
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: And she did it. She did she always, She's been
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: doing it all life. She didn't tell them how you did?
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah now and now she's not speaking to
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: me for what she did. Can y'all want to leave
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: the nerve? Oh? Man, what your mother say about your sister? Jay? Oh,
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: my sister. My mother was my mother. My sister was
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: the favorite because my sister was an honor student all
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: the way through school, straight age, straight age with the
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: college on a scholarship, graduated from college. You know, but
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: I always got my sister back. I was able to
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: give my sister my mother way better gifts than my sister,
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: And it just thrilled me. Did you get Mama? Tell
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: she said, I gave a car, and I'm that I
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: bought a car. Face in your face, I'm you win
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: where you can win here with you by mother? I

- 1:21:55Speaker 1: So I have a question for you guys. Okay, check
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: this out. Now, what child hood accomplishments. Think about this? Now?
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: What childhood accomplishments do you still try to work into conversations?
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: For instance, were you an amazing track star in the
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: eighth grade? Did you win the spelling bee? Or did
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: you just get really good at basketball for exactly one summer?
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: For instance, Um, I got an A in geometry. Okay,
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: I still talk about that and al yeah, I still
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: talk about that. So what about you guys? Still try
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: to work it in? When I was in when I
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: was in the tenth grade, I was failing. I was
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: definitely failing English and I was definitely gonna fail. But
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: I did a play. It's called it's about the last survivor.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: I can't think of the name of the play. Has
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: to do it all the black people leaving the earth
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: for one day. I can't remember the name of the play.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: I was so good in the play that the ladies said,
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: I'm going to give you a passing grade because of
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: what you did in the play. So I always try
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: to bring up you know, I was I was in
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: the play. Speaking of pays, I'm funny you brought up
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: play let me play I was in. We were talking
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: about plays, though, what I what I'm what I what
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: I'm working? I do this and it's not something I
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: should be proud of what I am? Okay, yeah, what
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: I was proud of. You know, my great grandbrother really
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: didn't like me as a kid. For whatever reason. She
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: ain't liked me. I just could never do nothing right.
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: And you know, if I messed up, she could be
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: supposed to be blind, but she could see what I
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: missed up. You know, I her vision come back when
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: I messed up. Well, she like to monopoly, and you
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: bringing you bringing this up, and you start talking about
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: Tid who remembers I work in the back guy. I
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: used to cheat her own the Monopoly game because she
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: didn't like to play if she didn't win. Board Walk,
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: I made show she paid the electric bill every time
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: she went around the board. And I working here. Now
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: that's what I'd be proud of. Because she couldn't see
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: I was supposed to be on board Walk. I said,
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: but you're not. You're right here on the electric company.
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: Seventy five or ten percent? Pay your mother. I work, all, yes,
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: great is the company. Let's see. Okay. So when I
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: was question again, oh, it's like, what childhood accomplishment do
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: you still try to work into conversations today today. So
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: when I was in the third grade, Tommy, I was
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: in Chicago, and my third grade teacher, she told me
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: and my mom that I was a leader and I
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: was a star, and I was gonna be a boss
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: and I was gonna, you know, do something and be
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: very very successful. So to this day, I was still
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: work at in the conversation, you know, missus Balanov in
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: the third grade saying that I was a leader, you know.
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: And when I was in the sixth grade, I was
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: a spelling B champ. Yeah yeah, yeah, I can top that.
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: When I was seven, I went to a spelling B competition.
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: How about it's all about come on childhood, all right, childhood?
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: You know? Uh yeah, you know I went to state
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: you know, uh, one act play. You know what I'm saying.
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: Then we won state. Do you understand what I'm saying?
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: So I have to work that and I know we're
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: talking about cutting yards, But yes, I was in the
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: state one act play A play, that's right. It was
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: called Total Abandoned and we won? Yes, and uh yeah,
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: that's you know. The rest is bringing that. How does
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: that just come about? How you well, you know what,
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: I know, you guys want to come over the house.
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: Some glasses were wine. But did I tell y'all I
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: one act play? Yes, it was called Total Abandoned? Yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: yes I was. I was all star cast and never
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: think and then you know, yeah we yeah, after that,
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: the theater scholarship to Texas and him. The rest is history. Yeah,
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: it really is. What kind of wine? You have another one?
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: I know you have another one? Speaking of play? Did
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: I tell y'all about the time I was in this? Anyway?
