- 2:05Speaker 2: Listening to the voice come on dig me now, one
- 2:08Speaker 2: and only Steve Harvin got a radio show, keep saying
- 2:12Speaker 2: it can't stop. Man, oh man, oh man, what a
- 2:15Speaker 2: journey it has been. I thank God for every single
- 2:18Speaker 2: step of the way. I learned to thank him for
- 2:20Speaker 2: the bad times too, because it taught me something. All
- 2:24Speaker 2: the bad times, all the failures, they became valuable experiences
- 2:28Speaker 2: in my life. Every time I failed, I learned a
- 2:31Speaker 2: little bit more about getting up. Every time I was
- 2:34Speaker 2: told no, it moved me one step closer to yes.
- 2:37Speaker 2: It made me stronger, It toughened my skin. It made
- 2:40Speaker 2: me learn how to deal with haters. It made me
- 2:43Speaker 2: learn how to deal with people who don't have your
- 2:46Speaker 2: best interest at heart. Man, ain't y'all all out there
- 2:49Speaker 2: feeling me on this one right here. It teaches you
- 2:52Speaker 2: who is who in your life. It shows you who
- 2:55Speaker 2: you can depend on and who you came. And at
- 2:58Speaker 2: the end of the day, what has taught me most
- 3:00Speaker 2: of all my hardships in my life? And it's really
- 3:02Speaker 2: about me and God. That is the one factor that
- 3:07Speaker 2: has been never changed in my life. God has always
- 3:12Speaker 2: been the same for me and for you and for
- 3:15Speaker 2: all of us. His word is true. It don't waiver,
- 3:19Speaker 2: it don't shake. You can shape it, readjust it if
- 3:22Speaker 2: you want to. It is really the way it's written.
- 3:24Speaker 1: It really is.
- 3:26Speaker 2: You have your version of it if you want to.
- 3:28Speaker 2: But if you just read it the way it is,
- 3:30Speaker 2: it's real clear. Ain't no loopholes in it. Every time
- 3:34Speaker 2: you jump through a loophole, there's something over there written
- 3:36Speaker 2: that that counters that.
- 3:38Speaker 1: So is what I want to get to today. Listen
- 3:41Speaker 1: to me.
- 3:42Speaker 2: You got it within you? Oh it's there, Just use it.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Listen to me close. You got it within you. Oh
- 3:52Speaker 2: it's there.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Just use it. If you hear me clearly, I'm really
- 3:57Speaker 1: finn to show you something this morning. Within you, Oh
- 4:01Speaker 1: is there? Just use it.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Steve, what you're talking about. See, here's what's wrong with
- 4:07Speaker 2: a lot of people. Here's what's stopping so many people.
- 4:12Speaker 2: You keep looking. We keep looking for others to save us.
- 4:18Speaker 2: We keep looking for someone else to rescue us. We
- 4:23Speaker 2: always looking for some group of people or somebody to
- 4:26Speaker 2: accept us. We keep looking for someone else's approval. We
- 4:33Speaker 2: always looking for some group or somebody to deliver us, somebody,
- 4:38Speaker 2: some group of people to give us credibility, somebody or.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Some group of people who says we matter.
- 4:47Speaker 2: We spend so much time right there, and when the
- 4:51Speaker 2: cavalry don't come over the hill, when it ain't no saving,
- 4:54Speaker 2: it ain't no deliverance, And hey, you don't get accepted,
- 4:57Speaker 2: and don't nobody really come to save you, and there't
- 5:01Speaker 2: nobody vouching for you and giving you credibility and throw
- 5:04Speaker 2: you into something naw, you into this little state of man.
- 5:07Speaker 2: I don't know what I'm gonna do. Oh you got
- 5:10Speaker 2: it within you, Oh it's there, Just use it. You
- 5:14Speaker 2: want to know what the real deal is, y'all? It's
- 5:17Speaker 2: you and God, and it's the God in you.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Man. I wish I could explain this right to you today.
- 5:26Speaker 2: I want you to fill me on this right here,
- 5:29Speaker 2: when you shake everything out the way, get rid of
- 5:32Speaker 2: all your expectations of people. The relationship you thought was
- 5:35Speaker 2: gonna last forever that didn't make it, the child that
- 5:38Speaker 2: you wanted to be, this that turned out to be that,
- 5:41Speaker 2: your friend you thought was your friend, that stabbed you.
- 5:43Speaker 1: In the back.
- 5:44Speaker 2: You found out they wouldn't the job you thought was
- 5:46Speaker 2: gonna keep you and you'd retire on they didn't, closed down,
- 5:49Speaker 2: gave you a pink slip.
- 5:51Speaker 1: All of this.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Man that death promised that somebody told you they was
- 5:54Speaker 2: gonna loan you this money, and on loan day they
- 5:56Speaker 2: say they ain't got it. Oh man, oh man, oh man.
- 6:00Speaker 2: This money you thought was gonna come through on this check.
- 6:03Speaker 2: The check ain't there?
- 6:04Speaker 1: Oh man?
- 6:05Speaker 2: How many disappointments in life can you get? You thought
- 6:08Speaker 2: you had enough credit hour was to graduate. You found
- 6:11Speaker 2: out two weeks before you didn't.
- 6:12Speaker 1: You can't graduate. Oh listen here, man, what's gonna happen? Man?
- 6:16Speaker 2: Look at the disappointment in my life right now? But
- 6:19Speaker 2: let me explain something to you. When you get rid
- 6:22Speaker 2: of all of that, guess what you really got? You
- 6:25Speaker 2: got God, that's the whole enchilada. Baby, that's the ball
- 6:29Speaker 2: of wax. That's the monkeys in the barrel, that's the
- 6:31Speaker 2: bag of chips.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Listen to me.
- 6:33Speaker 2: If you got God, do you understand that that's sufficient?
- 6:37Speaker 2: That that say all you need? Can you feel me?
- 6:40Speaker 5: Now?
- 6:41Speaker 1: You and God and the God in you, it's really.
- 6:46Speaker 5: What you need.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Stop looking for all these outside sources for approval, to
- 6:51Speaker 2: gain acceptance, to get credibility, somebody to save you, the
- 6:55Speaker 2: calvary coming over the hill. Why won't they recognize me?
- 6:59Speaker 2: Why won't they get me closure? Why they fire me?
- 7:02Speaker 2: Why they forek closing on my house? Don't they know
- 7:05Speaker 2: I'm laid off. When you get through it, all of
- 7:07Speaker 2: that whining, it's gonna come down to you and God
- 7:11Speaker 2: and the God in you. If God created man in
- 7:15Speaker 2: his own image, God is a part of you, that
- 7:19Speaker 2: is a piece of you that's godly.
- 7:22Speaker 1: I don't care who you are. I don't care what
- 7:24Speaker 1: mistake you made.
- 7:26Speaker 2: The murderer that's sitting in jail today because of a
- 7:29Speaker 2: moment in his life that he's now paying for, has
- 7:33Speaker 2: God in him.
- 7:35Speaker 1: The biggest criminal.
- 7:37Speaker 2: When he gets through criminalizing or whatever you want to
- 7:40Speaker 2: call it, he's sitting there by his self.
- 7:42Speaker 1: That is a piece of God in him that lets
- 7:46Speaker 1: him know this ain't the way. This's wrong. You can
- 7:48Speaker 1: love his money if you want to put you out
- 7:50Speaker 1: of line, and you gonna pay. At the end of
- 7:53Speaker 1: the day.
- 7:54Speaker 2: When I get through on this microphone, on this TV,
- 7:57Speaker 2: all these articles, when I get through it all of that,
- 7:59Speaker 2: you know what it comes down to. Because see, it
- 8:01Speaker 2: ain't always been this way for me. You know, I've
- 8:03Speaker 2: been trying to get here, trying to get there. Listen
- 8:05Speaker 2: to me, it's been me and God and it's been
- 8:09Speaker 2: to God in me. When I woke up a few
- 8:12Speaker 2: years back and I realized that's really what it was,
- 8:15Speaker 2: it changed my whole life.
- 8:18Speaker 1: It changed my whole life.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Your whole life can get changed when you realize that
- 8:23Speaker 2: it's really you and God and the God in you,
- 8:25Speaker 2: really man. People disappoint you, You argue with people, You
- 8:29Speaker 2: fall out with people, You break up with people, You
- 8:31Speaker 2: divorce people. You got people who you thought was friends,
- 8:34Speaker 2: all of a sudden you find out they're talking about it's.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Crazy out of here. You been going what's going on?
- 8:39Speaker 1: What's really going on?
- 8:41Speaker 2: But that's because guess what you got all yours banked
- 8:45Speaker 2: on them? When you going bank it on the one
- 8:47Speaker 2: thing that you can count on.
- 8:49Speaker 1: God's word ain't changed since we got here. It's solid.
- 8:53Speaker 2: If you pray, believe, work hard, don't doubt you'll get
- 8:56Speaker 2: whatever you ask for. That's the fact that ain't no
- 8:59Speaker 2: rumor speakle out here doing it every day. Now, if
- 9:01Speaker 2: you ain't trying that, listen to me. You got it
- 9:04Speaker 2: within you.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Oh it's there. You just gotta use it. There is
- 9:08Speaker 1: a weapon available to man called prayer.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Use that.
- 9:12Speaker 2: See. I look at my life, man, whenever I get
- 9:14Speaker 2: a little shaky, I look back. Oh hey, man, I
- 9:17Speaker 2: ain't really talk with him too much yesterday. Oh, tighten up.
- 9:21Speaker 2: I'm just telling you real. You got a better answer.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Oh oh, oh, I know what.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Oh my bad, Steve. Now, Steve, I ain't winning costs.
- 9:29Speaker 2: They ain't get me the loan all now, Steve, I
- 9:31Speaker 2: ain't winning costs.
- 9:32Speaker 1: She left me. He left me.
- 9:34Speaker 2: I ain't winning, Steve, because I got stuck with these kids.
- 9:36Speaker 2: I got a divorce. They fired me. They foreclothes on
- 9:40Speaker 2: my own. That's why I ain't winning. You ain't winning
- 9:42Speaker 2: cause you ain't praying. You got to pray and believe
- 9:45Speaker 2: in work. That's the key. Come on, man, you got
- 9:49Speaker 2: it within you. Oh, it's there. You just got to
- 9:52Speaker 2: use it. It's just you and God, and it's to
- 9:54Speaker 2: God in you. And what y'all gonna do about that?
- 9:57Speaker 2: You're listening hard morning, Ladies and gentlemen. We are here today,

- 10:54Speaker 1: He see that? Jay, what do you think you could
- 11:03Speaker 1: get a blue ribbon.
- 11:04Speaker 4: In ignorance from nowhere? When you don't think it's coming straight?
- 11:08Speaker 2: Ignorant ignorance out of nowhere, Nephew, Tommy, share with us
- 11:14Speaker 2: what you could get a blue ribbon in that you
- 11:18Speaker 2: have probably already had thousands.
- 11:21Speaker 8: The seriousness of stupidity, I bring it to a whole
- 11:26Speaker 8: other level.
- 11:27Speaker 9: I just have to say one thing, seriously, Junior, I
- 11:31Speaker 9: take offense with what you did, because on the show,
- 11:35Speaker 9: I do animal noises.

- 14:04Speaker 11: Uh, this is a Nate.
- 14:06Speaker 5: My aster's calling.
- 14:08Speaker 8: I'm the principal at the high school where your daughter goes.
- 14:10Speaker 8: This is mister Porter.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Porter. How are you doing today?
- 14:13Speaker 5: I'm fine? Is everything good? Yeah?
- 14:15Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, yeah, every every everything, Everything is fine. Now
- 14:18Speaker 8: your daughter is tenth grade Crystal right?
- 14:21Speaker 5: Correct?
- 14:22Speaker 8: Okay, okay. I want to make sure i'm you know,
- 14:25Speaker 8: we got so many kids with the same names. I
- 14:27Speaker 8: wanted to make sure I had the right person. So
- 14:29Speaker 8: here's the issue. You say your name is Nate. Yeah, okay, Nate.
- 14:33Speaker 8: What were the problem we're having here at the school
- 14:35Speaker 8: is I don't know if you are aware of it,
- 14:38Speaker 8: but when your your wife drops Crystal off at school,
- 14:42Speaker 8: we've got the parents as well as some of the teachers.
- 14:46Speaker 8: They're they're complaining about what she's what she's wearing. What
- 14:50Speaker 8: your wife is, Yeah, what she's wearing when she drops
- 14:53Speaker 8: the kids off. Evidently her clothes are very skimpy and
- 14:57Speaker 8: her butt cheeks, her butt cheeks are out. You know,
- 15:00Speaker 8: I don't know if she's I haven't actually seen her,
- 15:03Speaker 8: but I've been getting these reports from uh, we've been getting.
- 15:07Speaker 5: That's a little strange to me. I'm typically at work.
- 15:10Speaker 11: I mean, I don't know what she's wearing. I'm gonna
- 15:13Speaker 11: have to talk to her later on today.
- 15:16Speaker 8: Okay, Well, what I what I was gonna suggest is uh,
- 15:20Speaker 8: you know, I actually I thought I was calling her phone.
- 15:23Speaker 8: I didn't know I was. I was going to get you.
- 15:25Speaker 8: But what I wanted to do is get her to
- 15:28Speaker 8: come up here so I can see what she's wearing.
- 15:31Speaker 5: You know. No, no, no, I think I got this
- 15:33Speaker 5: handl dude, I can take care of it.
- 15:35Speaker 8: Well, well, well, I think it's gonna be better for
- 15:38Speaker 8: both of us, Like if I was able to see
- 15:40Speaker 8: her uh in the and and.
- 15:42Speaker 11: Let her look player, look, look, I got it, my daughter.
- 15:47Speaker 11: This is not even really concerning my daughter. This is
- 15:50Speaker 11: uh you know, this is this is above that take grade.
- 15:52Speaker 11: Let me handle it so you know, you know, my
- 15:56Speaker 11: daughter going to principal's office is one thing. I'll be
- 15:58Speaker 11: on top of that, but I'm definitely gonna be on
- 15:59Speaker 11: top of this. So so, like I said, I think
- 16:01Speaker 11: I got this handled right now.
- 16:03Speaker 8: What now, your wife, Carmen, is she there?
- 16:06Speaker 11: Uh?
- 16:07Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, I mean, is there any way I can
- 16:09Speaker 1: talk to her?
- 16:10Speaker 5: No? Like I told you, I think I think I
- 16:13Speaker 5: got this one. I could take care of this.
- 16:17Speaker 11: And you know, my thing is, I've already told you
- 16:20Speaker 11: that three times. I don't know where you're really going
- 16:22Speaker 11: with this. You know, I'm gonna I'm gonna talk to
- 16:24Speaker 11: her and get the.
- 16:25Speaker 5: Situation situational rectified as soon as I can.
- 16:28Speaker 11: Okay, but we don't you know, you don't need to
- 16:30Speaker 11: you don't need to see her, you know, talk to
- 16:32Speaker 11: her well being.
- 16:33Speaker 1: The principal here at the school, sir.
- 16:36Speaker 8: Uh Like I said, you know, I'm just trying to,
- 16:39Speaker 8: you know, handle the school in orderly fashion and make
- 16:41Speaker 8: sure that all things are taking care of around here
- 16:44Speaker 8: and we have no issues and no problems.
- 16:46Speaker 5: So what why you're not talking to my daughter? You're
- 16:48Speaker 5: talking to me.
- 16:49Speaker 11: I'm a I'm a husband, I'm a father. I'm telling
- 16:52Speaker 11: what I tell you I got to handle.
- 16:54Speaker 1: I got to handle I understand it. I have to
- 16:57Speaker 1: handle my school. Though. You understand that I have to
- 17:00Speaker 1: the school.
- 17:01Speaker 5: I will drop my door off myself.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Okay, I understand that.
- 17:03Speaker 5: Well, No, I mean, do I need to come up
- 17:05Speaker 5: there and talk to you?
- 17:06Speaker 12: No?
- 17:06Speaker 1: I need your wife to come talk to me. I
- 17:08Speaker 1: need to see what she be wearing.
- 17:09Speaker 5: Don't need to talk to my wife. Player, Do you
- 17:11Speaker 5: have a wife?
- 17:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I have a wife, and.
- 17:14Speaker 5: Come to my office.
- 17:15Speaker 3: But what what what do you?
- 17:16Speaker 5: What do you?
- 17:16Speaker 1: What are you? What are you talking about?
- 17:17Speaker 5: No? What are you talking about that? My wife needs
- 17:19Speaker 5: to come and and and so you can inspect her outfit.
- 17:22Speaker 11: I'm not playing that game, player, I'm not We're not
- 17:24Speaker 11: doing that.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Okay.
- 17:25Speaker 8: I need to see what your wife be wearing when
- 17:27Speaker 8: she's dropping these.
- 17:28Speaker 5: Keys me yourself. One, I send you a picture.
- 17:31Speaker 8: Man, and I think we must have gone down the
- 17:33Speaker 8: wrong street, which is yeah, No, we definitely.
- 17:35Speaker 5: Down the wrong boulevard on this one. Player.
- 17:37Speaker 11: Let me let me just make it very clear to you.
- 17:40Speaker 11: My wife, you're seeing that in the office and all
- 17:42Speaker 11: that maybe wouldn't come up there tomorrow. It's gonna be
- 17:45Speaker 11: me and her no, he's not coming up to the
- 17:47Speaker 11: principal's office. We don't need to do all but.
- 17:48Speaker 1: We don't have a problem with you. We just need her.
- 17:51Speaker 1: I just need to know.
- 17:52Speaker 11: You're gonna have a problem with me if we keep
- 17:55Speaker 11: going down this road right.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Now, okay.
- 17:56Speaker 8: So, so it's okay for her to have her butt
- 17:59Speaker 8: cheeks out when she dropped the kids off, but as
- 18:01Speaker 8: soon as I want to have her come out of
- 18:03Speaker 8: office for a meeting about this situation right now, right now.
- 18:06Speaker 11: You you said you're claiming her butt ceases out like
- 18:10Speaker 11: seases out right now?
- 18:11Speaker 5: You out of pocket?
- 18:12Speaker 8: Okay, No, it was out of pocket when she pulled
- 18:14Speaker 8: up and got out the car and her butt was

- 20:52Speaker 9: All right, guys, time out for us the c l O.
- 20:55Speaker 9: C l O Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey. This one
- 20:58Speaker 9: is from Ken and Dothan, Alabama. Ken says, my sister
- 21:02Speaker 9: and I were awarded a good amount of money from
- 21:05Speaker 9: a car accident. I'm fully recovered, but she still has
- 21:08Speaker 9: to have one more surgery on her leg because of that,
- 21:12Speaker 9: and since it was her car that was totaled, she
- 21:14Speaker 9: wants to split the money. Sixty forty the insurance company
- 21:18Speaker 9: gave her the money for a car and paid a
- 21:20Speaker 9: settlement for pain and suffering. She claims she's had more
- 21:24Speaker 9: pain and has suffered more. She says she will take
- 21:27Speaker 9: me to court.
- 21:27Speaker 6: If I don't agree to it. I still can't believe
- 21:30Speaker 6: she's tripping.
- 21:31Speaker 3: What should I do?
- 21:33Speaker 2: I mean, money make people trip, so, you know. I mean,
- 21:38Speaker 2: I don't understand how y'all settlement is together that I've
- 21:42Speaker 2: never heard of.
- 21:43Speaker 6: Well, maybe they were both in the car.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Well, I've been in a car accidents before. Everybody's settlement
- 21:49Speaker 2: is separate. I don't know how they got They just
- 21:52Speaker 2: paid one lump sum. Now, is she wanted to be
- 21:55Speaker 2: sixty forty?
- 21:57Speaker 1: Dog? You threw power? Yeah, just give us sixty forty? No,
- 22:02Speaker 1: you already know.
- 22:03Speaker 6: Come on, man, she has to go through one more surgery.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Come on, no, just let her have it. But y'all
- 22:08Speaker 1: gonna break up over this twenty percent? That's his sister? Yeah, yeah,
- 22:13Speaker 1: I mean, now she wrong for that, because that ain't high.
- 22:17Speaker 5: Go.
- 22:17Speaker 2: You're supposed to split the money, but I don't know
- 22:20Speaker 2: since I really i've never heard of that before. I'm
- 22:22Speaker 2: gonna be honest with you. In all my years, I've
- 22:24Speaker 2: never heard of a group settlement. And here is the settlement.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Y'all work it out, because it's usually you get this
- 22:31Speaker 2: and you get that based on your injuries and all
- 22:33Speaker 2: like that.
- 22:34Speaker 1: She doing, Just give us sixty forty what you're tripping for?
- 22:37Speaker 9: Man, he says, he's fully recovered.
- 22:39Speaker 6: She still has to have one more surgery.
- 22:41Speaker 10: On her leg.
- 22:43Speaker 1: No, just let her have it. It ain't worth that, man,
- 22:45Speaker 1: it's not.
- 22:46Speaker 6: He didn't say it was a sizeable settlement. He's just saying.
- 22:51Speaker 9: He just said the insurance company gave her money for
- 22:53Speaker 9: a car, paid a settlement for pain and suffering, and
- 22:57Speaker 9: she still wants to split the money sixty forty because
- 23:00Speaker 9: she has more pain and has suffered more, which is.
- 23:03Speaker 1: True, Yeah she has.
- 23:05Speaker 2: Well, the car was hers, obviously, Yeah it was her,
- 23:08Speaker 2: so they paid for the car. Now the pain is suffering.
- 23:12Speaker 2: I don't know how they lumped it together. I've never
- 23:15Speaker 2: heard of at again, But okay, let's just say let's
- 23:19Speaker 2: for practical purpose, it's a hundred thousand. Let's say that
- 23:21Speaker 2: it's a hundred thousand. You give her sixty, you get
- 23:24Speaker 2: forty thousand.
- 23:26Speaker 9: No good, Yeah, why would you want to tie this
- 23:30Speaker 9: up in court?
- 23:31Speaker 6: Get attorneys have to pay them.
- 23:33Speaker 1: That's crazy.
- 23:34Speaker 6: Just take the forty and she still got to have
- 23:36Speaker 6: another surgery.
- 23:36Speaker 1: Come on, brother, h the do Wasn't that hurt? No day?
- 23:40Speaker 6: Right?
- 23:41Speaker 1: Right? That's why he ain't going right me. The car
- 23:46Speaker 1: slammed into her side of the car.
- 23:48Speaker 6: Yeah, and she's all right.
- 23:51Speaker 9: Jonison Harlem says, I'm dating my cousin's ex and she
- 23:55Speaker 9: recently told him about us. He said he doesn't mind
- 23:58Speaker 9: and gave me his blessing. But every time my cousin
- 24:01Speaker 9: and I are with our boys, he makes jokes about
- 24:04Speaker 9: me getting his sloppy seconds seconds. I can take the joking,
- 24:08Speaker 9: but he also talks about how he used to make
- 24:10Speaker 9: her squeal and call out his name. That's when I
- 24:12Speaker 9: get to the point of wanting to fight him. Mind you,
- 24:15Speaker 9: he dated her when they were twenty, and he's thirty
- 24:18Speaker 9: one and he's thirty one, and it must mean she's
- 24:24Speaker 9: thirty one and he's thirty two. Now, probably, how do
- 24:28Speaker 9: I get him to stop disrespecting me and my girlfriend, pull.
- 24:31Speaker 1: Him over to the side and say, hey, dog, listen
- 24:34Speaker 1: to me. Now.
- 24:36Speaker 2: You gave me your blessing. She told me it was cool.
- 24:38Speaker 2: But what I don't appreciate is you dog and her
- 24:41Speaker 2: in front of everybody and real men.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Don't do that.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Dog, Just leave my girl's name out your mouth. I'm
- 24:48Speaker 2: gonna ask you come. But if you keep doing it, bro,
- 24:51Speaker 2: then I'm gonna have a problem with that. And you're
- 24:53Speaker 2: disrespecting her and me when you do that. That's a
- 24:56Speaker 2: simple conversation. Then if he do it after that, then
- 25:00Speaker 2: you got to go and do something to it. What Yeah,
- 25:04Speaker 2: you got to go and do something to it.
- 25:06Speaker 1: We have to as after that. It's just man law.
- 25:10Speaker 1: After that.
- 25:10Speaker 2: If I asked you not to disrespect my girl no more,
- 25:14Speaker 2: and I talk, I come to you man, a man
- 25:15Speaker 2: away from the other fellas, and you get right back
- 25:18Speaker 2: in front of me and you do it again. What
- 25:20Speaker 2: you're saying is I do what I won't do. I
- 25:21Speaker 2: don't give a damn about you. Now, I've talked to you,
- 25:24Speaker 2: so obviously that wasn't the point. So when I bust
- 25:27Speaker 2: you upside, your damn fauehead. I bet you understand me,
- 25:31Speaker 2: then don't.
- 25:31Speaker 1: We're not shooting.
- 25:32Speaker 6: We fight yet you have dated your cousin's ex.
- 25:38Speaker 1: We have didn't. Lot of that depend on how fine
- 25:40Speaker 1: she is.
- 25:41Speaker 5: I do.
- 25:41Speaker 3: That's what.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Twelve years ago.
- 25:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean twelve years ago, a lot of things changed.
- 25:50Speaker 2: I don't know how it happened, but you know, you
- 25:52Speaker 2: know they probably wasn't that close that could happen.
- 25:56Speaker 9: It sounds like they're pretty close, but okay, Shakida and
- 26:00Speaker 9: Birmingham says, I'm dating a guy that thinks he's a
- 26:02Speaker 9: great comedian, but he's not. He's almost forty and he's
- 26:07Speaker 9: still doing private events and can't get into any of
- 26:09Speaker 9: the bigger events. I know he's not funny, but I
- 26:12Speaker 9: can't tell him. I think his appearance is a problem too.
- 26:15Speaker 9: He's only five eight and he's stocky, not fat, but stocky.
- 26:20Speaker 2: The almost a lot of comedians five eight and fat
- 26:23Speaker 2: that ain't got none to do. It'sdam damn jokes, he telling.
- 26:27Speaker 9: The audience at his last show talked about him, and
- 26:30Speaker 9: their jokes were funnier than his.
- 26:32Speaker 6: How can I give him a little feedback without hurting
- 26:34Speaker 6: his pride?
- 26:36Speaker 2: Hi, he ain't getting a feedback. The audience is telling
- 26:40Speaker 2: jokes to him. That's funny in him, But is he listening?
- 26:47Speaker 1: Listen to me.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Comedians don't need feedback. It's instant. The thing about our
- 26:52Speaker 2: profession is it's instant. The saint, you know, you write
- 26:56Speaker 2: a song, you release it, you hope they like it.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Now you tell let joke you know that night immediately instant.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Instant.
- 27:10Speaker 6: Well, but she doesn't want to hurt his ego and
- 27:14Speaker 6: his pride.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Well, the king of comedy just told you listen. If
- 27:18Speaker 1: you started up that dying, there's no worse pain, you
- 27:22Speaker 1: might as well go and tell him. He just But
- 27:25Speaker 1: there's a lot of people that here laughs in their head,
- 27:28Speaker 1: that ain't there. I know, some just be telling joke.
- 27:32Speaker 1: It'll be hot in they mind. They hear a concept.
- 27:35Speaker 1: All right, thank you, Feelo, you're listening.
- 27:39Speaker 10: Morning show.
- 27:42Speaker 9: Anyone in a relationship notes that no matter how much
- 27:45Speaker 9: you love someone you know, kissy, kissy, smoochie, all of that,
- 27:49Speaker 9: how much you love them, there are things about them
- 27:52Speaker 9: they get on your nerves.
- 27:53Speaker 10: Okay.
- 27:55Speaker 9: A redded pole asked, what's the one thing you wish
- 27:58Speaker 9: you could say to your spouse or your man? But
- 28:00Speaker 9: you cannot bring yourself to say it because you know
- 28:04Speaker 9: it's gonna cost World War three?
- 28:07Speaker 6: Up in there, some had you know, like little bitty
- 28:10Speaker 6: gripes like we can just.
- 28:11Speaker 5: Go with that.
- 28:12Speaker 1: I got all right, Oh why don't you shuck up?
- 28:16Speaker 1: Oh okay, let me that's not mean, Let me just mean.
- 28:22Speaker 9: Let me ask this question before you jump the gun.

- 28:43Speaker 1: I'll say it one more time. Why is my answer
- 28:46Speaker 1: not sufficient?
- 28:48Speaker 10: It's not that it's not sufficient.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Agression on you? Yes, are you serious?
- 28:56Speaker 2: Don't act like y'll see what killed me now? Not

- 29:15Speaker 13: There are times in a relationship, and I've been in
- 29:17Speaker 13: a lot when a man really don't want to hear

- 29:23Speaker 4: At all?
- 29:24Speaker 9: Okay, now I understand I get that, Okay, but to

- 43:05Speaker 5: How many years ago? Your aunt passed?
- 43:07Speaker 17: It was about five years ago.
- 43:09Speaker 5: Okay, listen, I'm over here at the funeral home. Uh my, my,
- 43:14Speaker 5: my sister just passed away, and uh, they gave me
- 43:18Speaker 5: your phone number. Did you guys? We're going through a
- 43:21Speaker 5: little bit of a situation here, did you guys? Aren't
- 43:24Speaker 5: have you know your aunt was a heavyset woman? Is
- 43:26Speaker 5: that right?
- 43:27Speaker 11: Yes?
- 43:27Speaker 5: She was? Okay, Now they had to did they have
- 43:30Speaker 5: to put her in a in a Did they have
- 43:32Speaker 5: a build a special casket for her?
- 43:35Speaker 12: Yeah?
- 43:36Speaker 5: Okay, that's what we're kind of going through with my sister.
- 43:39Speaker 5: We ordered a special casket for for for my sister,
- 43:44Speaker 5: and I'm assuming this is the same thing that you
- 43:47Speaker 5: guys went through. I've called several of her children, but
- 43:50Speaker 5: I wasn't able to get in touch with anybody. But
- 43:52Speaker 5: the funeral home actually had your name on file as well,
- 43:55Speaker 5: so they gave me your number where I will be
- 43:57Speaker 5: able to talk to you. Is that is that? Okay?
- 44:00Speaker 12: Yeah, that's okay. You can speak to me.
- 44:02Speaker 17: But you know what seems to be a problem.
- 44:05Speaker 5: Well, listen, we the funeral is actually in two days, okay,
- 44:10Speaker 5: and we ordered one of those special caskets, but it
- 44:13Speaker 5: doesn't look like it's going to be in for another week,
- 44:16Speaker 5: so you know, it's almost like we're gonna, we're gonna,
- 44:19Speaker 5: we're not gonna have a casket for her, you know,
- 44:22Speaker 5: for the funeral. And you know, like I said, the
- 44:25Speaker 5: funeral told us about you know that. You guys, we
- 44:27Speaker 5: are the last ones that ordered a casket of that size,
- 44:31Speaker 5: and you know, me and the rest of the family
- 44:33Speaker 5: has been you know, we've been trying to figure out
- 44:35Speaker 5: what to do and what to do. Do you think
- 44:37Speaker 5: it's anyone possible we can borrow the casket that your
- 44:43Speaker 5: aim is in, and then when the casket comes in
- 44:46Speaker 5: that we ordered, we can put her in that casket
- 44:50Speaker 5: and put her back down to rest like she's always been.
- 44:53Speaker 5: Do you think that's right? Hello?
- 44:57Speaker 12: Hello, if peat yourself, what exactly are you asking me?
- 45:02Speaker 5: Well, what I'm saying is, do you think we can
- 45:04Speaker 5: borrow your ain'm casket because you know, the funerals in
- 45:08Speaker 5: two days and the casket is not going to be
- 45:11Speaker 5: in in order for us to be to bury her
- 45:13Speaker 5: in a casket for you know, to accommodate her size.
- 45:17Speaker 5: That's what I'm asking.
- 45:18Speaker 12: What kind of is this you're talking about?
- 45:21Speaker 5: First of all, who is this? Okay, No, my name
- 45:23Speaker 5: is Larry, Like I said, my name is Larry, I
- 45:25Speaker 5: got you. I got you guys. Like I said, I
- 45:27Speaker 5: tried to call some of her kids, but nobody ever
- 45:30Speaker 5: picked up. When I called, I had her niece's number
- 45:35Speaker 5: on file too. You are her niece, Vicky, right, Yes,
- 45:38Speaker 5: I am. Okay, Well that's what I'm saying. Do you
- 45:41Speaker 5: think that maybe you can talk to the children and
- 45:44Speaker 5: see if we can maybe use that particular casket?
- 45:47Speaker 12: Oh okay, wait a minute, what the talking about this?
- 45:51Speaker 12: First of all, who is this you? You gotta be
- 45:54Speaker 12: losing your mind if you think I'm gonna let you
- 45:56Speaker 12: dig up my ami for just to bury your nose.
- 45:59Speaker 5: Yeah, but I understand where you come from. But what
- 46:01Speaker 5: I'm trying to say is that we don't have a
- 46:04Speaker 5: casket big enough. And they would say they let us
- 46:06Speaker 5: know that you guys were the last ones that had
- 46:08Speaker 5: a casket.
- 46:09Speaker 17: That you know you gotta do with us.
- 46:12Speaker 12: That's your stuff out?
- 46:15Speaker 9: No?
- 46:16Speaker 5: No, well, okay, First of all, what I'm trying to
- 46:18Speaker 5: do is this the family been grieving pretty hard, and
- 46:21Speaker 5: I just wanted to make sure that the funeral will
- 46:23Speaker 5: be right, and it ain't.
- 46:24Speaker 12: Gonna be right, and we don't have we don't bring
- 46:27Speaker 12: my family gonna feel digg in my Any of you.
- 46:29Speaker 17: Lost your they don't call me because who is the
- 46:33Speaker 17: funeral home that gave you my number to ask me
- 46:37Speaker 17: to use the casket so you can bury your sister.
- 46:40Speaker 12: Who is the name of that person?
- 46:41Speaker 5: I can't remember, but it was it was a guy.
- 46:44Speaker 5: The funeral director let me know that you guys had
- 46:46Speaker 5: went through a situation where you had to bury your
- 46:49Speaker 5: your your your aunt.
- 46:50Speaker 17: Like I said, I call what's your name again?
- 46:53Speaker 5: My name is Larry?
- 46:55Speaker 12: Okay, mar this is this is I don't know what
- 46:58Speaker 12: you my phone number because call me asking you just don't.
- 47:01Speaker 1: Can you believe us?
- 47:03Speaker 12: They call here asking me so can they dig up
- 47:06Speaker 12: so they can bury.
- 47:07Speaker 5: That sister's foster sister don't have a cash No your fault. No,
- 47:14Speaker 5: I understand it's not your fault. What I'm trying to
- 47:17Speaker 5: say is wi y'all show some sympathy and some love
- 47:20Speaker 5: for what me and are family going through because we
- 47:22Speaker 5: don't have a cask. Like I say, my sister, my
- 47:25Speaker 5: sister was was you know, whether if the heavens was
- 47:27Speaker 5: a hemish want?
- 47:28Speaker 2: Oh good?
- 47:29Speaker 12: You know, my condoleces go out to you and your family.
- 47:31Speaker 12: You know I'm trying to be as reserved as I
- 47:34Speaker 12: can with this whole situation. But do you understand what
- 47:37Speaker 12: kind of stupid you're asking me right now to actually
- 47:40Speaker 12: dig up my aunt? Who is are you being a
- 47:43Speaker 12: ground for five years because bury your sister.
- 47:51Speaker 2: Like this?
- 47:53Speaker 5: We you You ain't ain't gonna know, she ain't gonna
- 47:55Speaker 5: know where.
- 47:56Speaker 17: You for you to say to me, stupid.
- 48:04Speaker 12: Moking crack.
- 48:07Speaker 5: First of all, you know what I First of all,
- 48:10Speaker 5: I appreciate you trying to work with me, but I
- 48:12Speaker 5: want to say is you don't even have the authority
- 48:14Speaker 5: to make that decision if you give me one of
- 48:16Speaker 5: the numbers to one of your cousins.
- 48:20Speaker 12: I was really trying to be nice and be calm.
- 48:23Speaker 11: But guess what, we're not doing this, stupid.
- 48:25Speaker 12: I'm trying to be nice to you and tell and
- 48:27Speaker 12: trying to help you out. No, you want me to
- 48:29Speaker 12: get ignorance and act stupid. I was trying to be
- 48:32Speaker 12: nice and sympathetics, but.
- 48:33Speaker 17: We're not doing it.

- 51:54Speaker 6: Subject, thank you, junior.
- 51:57Speaker 9: Subject tired. I'm tired of sneaking around with her. Stephen Shirley.
- 52:01Speaker 9: I'm a twenty seven year old single man and I
- 52:03Speaker 9: would love to stop sneaking around with the love of
- 52:06Speaker 9: my life. I've been friends with my secret lover for
- 52:09Speaker 9: twenty years, and our parents are best friends. Our families
- 52:13Speaker 9: did everything together for over twenty years, but they have
- 52:16Speaker 9: no idea about our secret romance. She and I have
- 52:20Speaker 9: been best friends since we were seven. By the time
- 52:23Speaker 9: we turned thirteen, she was blossoming.
- 52:25Speaker 6: Into a woman and I liked it. She was curious
- 52:30Speaker 6: about my body and I enjoyed caressing hers.
- 52:32Speaker 9: When she let me on her seventeenth birthday, she told
- 52:35Speaker 9: me she was ready to have sex and she wanted
- 52:38Speaker 9: me to be her first. That was the moment I
- 52:42Speaker 9: had been waiting for, so we both had sex for
- 52:45Speaker 9: the first time. I fell in love with her by
- 52:48Speaker 9: the time I was eighteen. We continue to secretly have
- 52:52Speaker 9: sex throughout college, and now that we're grown, she still
- 52:55Speaker 9: likes to sneak around with me. I've dated other girls,
- 52:59Speaker 9: but no woman compares to her. I have asked her
- 53:03Speaker 9: to be my girlfriend so many times, but she is
- 53:05Speaker 9: afraid of what her parents will think. She's been dating
- 53:09Speaker 9: a guy for almost two years and we still have
- 53:12Speaker 9: sex often. But we still have sex often. She's told
- 53:15Speaker 9: me that she's not had sex with him, and I
- 53:18Speaker 9: believed her until recently, when she told me that he's
- 53:21Speaker 9: talking about marriage. My heart started beating fast, and I
- 53:24Speaker 9: panicked and poured out all of my feelings to her
- 53:28Speaker 9: and said I wanted to be with her and marry her.
- 53:31Speaker 9: She said we could never be together because although we
- 53:34Speaker 9: are not blood relatives, our families are linked so closely
- 53:39Speaker 9: it's like we're related. I yelled at her that I
- 53:42Speaker 9: don't make love to my relatives. Why won't she give
- 53:46Speaker 9: us a chance? I don't want to lose her for good,
- 53:49Speaker 9: So what should I do? Wow, you don't want to
- 53:53Speaker 9: lose her for good?
- 53:54Speaker 6: Well, she's gone.
- 53:55Speaker 9: I mean you've already lost her. She never wanted you
- 54:01Speaker 9: for anything more than a side piece anyway. Everything was
- 54:04Speaker 9: always in secret. Okay, She's never given you any reason
- 54:08Speaker 9: to think otherwise. All you have to do is listen
- 54:10Speaker 9: to her and read between her lines. You are her
- 54:13Speaker 9: side piece, her jump off, her plaything, and that's it.
- 54:18Speaker 9: I mean, there are clues throughout the letter.
- 54:20Speaker 5: You say.
- 54:21Speaker 9: Now that we're grown, she still likes to sneak around
- 54:24Speaker 9: with you. Yeah, she wants to keep you a secret.
- 54:26Speaker 9: She won't date you because she's afraid of what her
- 54:28Speaker 9: parents might think. Really, but she's grown. You just said
- 54:34Speaker 9: you guys are grown. You've told her you want to
- 54:38Speaker 9: be with her and you want to marry her. Still
- 54:40Speaker 9: nothing from her. Nothing.
- 54:42Speaker 6: She's thinking about marrying some other guy.
- 54:44Speaker 9: She said, you guys could never be together because your relatives.
- 54:49Speaker 6: Excuse after excuse after excuse with this one.
- 54:53Speaker 9: She knows you're not related, but she's using that so
- 54:57Speaker 9: she can keep things as they are so you can
- 54:59Speaker 9: be her little secret.
- 55:01Speaker 6: Okay, you know she just wants you for sex.
- 55:06Speaker 1: I hope you know that.
- 55:07Speaker 9: And because you're in love with her, you just keep
- 55:10Speaker 9: giving her what you want, what she wants whenever she
- 55:13Speaker 9: wants it, which means she gets to have you and
- 55:16Speaker 9: her fiance.
- 55:17Speaker 6: She gets her cake and she can eat it too.
- 55:21Speaker 9: Who is this woman? I mean, what is this hold
- 55:24Speaker 9: on you she has? You got to move on from her,
- 55:27Speaker 9: you do. I know you've dated other women, but you
- 55:30Speaker 9: can't stop comparing them to her.
- 55:32Speaker 1: You got to stop that. That's the way you move on.
- 55:35Speaker 9: I mean you got to step back and take a
- 55:36Speaker 9: look at what's really what's really going on here.
- 55:39Speaker 1: I just say, wake up, stay woke.
- 55:41Speaker 6: After you wake up from this dream you're in about her, then.
- 55:46Speaker 9: Maybe hopefully you'll stop being her little you know, secret,
- 55:50Speaker 9: her little guinea pig, her little play thing, and you
- 55:53Speaker 9: can move on from there.
- 55:54Speaker 2: Steve one hundred percent completely disagree. Hell boy, come on now,
- 56:06Speaker 2: this opportunity pimp, don't uh let me walk you through
- 56:11Speaker 2: this thing. I'm tired of sneaking around with her. Twenty
- 56:17Speaker 2: seven year old single man. You want to stop sneaking around.
- 56:20Speaker 1: With the love of your life. Boy.
- 56:22Speaker 2: Come on, do you know how many women are dying
- 56:26Speaker 2: to hear that? That's why I know we got a
- 56:29Speaker 2: chance here. I've been friends with my secret lover for
- 56:32Speaker 2: over twenty years. I didn't know what the hell was
- 56:35Speaker 2: going on here. Seven were best friends, our family did
- 56:39Speaker 2: everything together for twenty years, but they had no idea
- 56:41Speaker 2: about our secret romance.
- 56:44Speaker 1: Now this wasn't.
- 56:44Speaker 2: Let her take a little bit of a delusional turn.
- 56:47Speaker 2: She and I have been best friends since we were seven.
- 56:51Speaker 2: By the time we turned thirteen, she was blossoming into
- 56:55Speaker 2: a woman.
- 57:00Speaker 1: Don't know. She wasn't atty, Doggie, No, she wasn't, Sulie.
- 57:08Speaker 1: You was flat Chester.
- 57:10Speaker 3: Okay, keep with.
- 57:13Speaker 9: Thirteen.
- 57:13Speaker 2: Yeah, look at Monica over there, shaking her head. This
- 57:18Speaker 2: line healthy.
- 57:19Speaker 1: She say that.
- 57:21Speaker 2: By the time and she was time thirteen, she was
- 57:25Speaker 2: blossoming into the woman, and I like it, dog know,
- 57:27Speaker 2: she wasn't. She was cursed about my body and I
- 57:30Speaker 2: enjoyed caressing Herris and were on seventeenth birthday. She was
- 57:33Speaker 2: ready to have sex. She wanted me to be her first.
- 57:38Speaker 2: That was the moment I had been waiting for my dude.
- 57:43Speaker 2: So we both had sex for the first time I
- 57:46Speaker 2: fell in love with her. By the time I was eighteen.
- 57:50Speaker 2: We secretly had sex throughout college, and now we've grown.
- 57:53Speaker 2: She still likes to sneak around with me. I updated
- 57:56Speaker 2: other girls, but no other woman come passed to her.
- 58:00Speaker 2: Asked her to be my girlfriend many times, but she's
- 58:02Speaker 2: afraid of what her parents would think.
- 58:03Speaker 1: When we come back, won't wait for the get down.
- 58:07Speaker 9: We'll have part two of Steve's response to the Strawberry
- 58:09Speaker 9: Letter coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour,
- 58:12Speaker 9: subject I'm tired of sneaking around with her. We'll get
- 58:15Speaker 9: back into it right after this. You're listening Steve Hardy
- 58:19Speaker 9: Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's
- 58:23Speaker 9: Strawberry letter. We totally disagree on this one.
- 58:25Speaker 2: Yeah, a little dude been in completely friends with this
- 58:28Speaker 2: girl since they was seven day twenty seven. Now turned thirteen,
- 58:32Speaker 2: she started developing into a woman. I tried to tell
- 58:35Speaker 2: this boy and this letter she wasn't a woman at thirteen.
- 58:38Speaker 1: Y'all, sir.
- 58:39Speaker 2: Got to seventeen, y'all had sex for the first time
- 58:42Speaker 2: for the both of y'all.
- 58:43Speaker 1: You fell in love with her.
- 58:44Speaker 2: About eighteen, y'all had sex all throughout college, secretly without
- 58:49Speaker 2: your parents.
- 58:49Speaker 1: Though.
- 58:50Speaker 2: I don't know how cool these damn parents he is.
- 58:53Speaker 2: Why they wouldn't be all right today? Babies linking up together.
- 58:57Speaker 2: I don't know what this damn they she should he is.
- 59:00Speaker 2: Y'all parents got it, but it's too big. In this letter,
- 59:05Speaker 2: y'all had sex for the first time. This was the
- 59:08Speaker 2: moment I've been waiting for.
- 59:10Speaker 1: Yes, yes, it is.
- 59:13Speaker 5: So.
- 59:13Speaker 2: We both had sex for the first time. I fell
- 59:15Speaker 2: in love with her by the time I was eighteen.
- 59:18Speaker 2: We had sex throughout college, and now we've grown. She
- 59:21Speaker 2: still likes to sneak around.
- 59:22Speaker 5: With me.
- 59:24Speaker 2: Updated other girls. Here we go, but no other woman
- 59:28Speaker 2: compares to her. No thing compass to you.
- 59:35Speaker 1: Oh man, that was the jam boy. See they got
- 59:41Speaker 1: songs about this. I just need to get to the course.
- 59:56Speaker 1: Boom boom, God money you've been gone. Oh yeah, but
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: another another take away.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: Here we go, Sha come back.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Nothing compass to you? Nothing? Whoa baby, whoaby whobby man.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: It's been so lonely without Thank you so much for
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: that day.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: You know, I just wanted to drop that in there,
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: because back in the day, we wrote songs about situations,
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: and this boy says nothing compass, nothing compassed to you.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: That boy met this man. I just wanted to drop
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: that in the middle of the letter.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: Anyway, I've asked her to be my girlfriend so many times,
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: but she's afraid of what her parents would think. She's
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: been dating a guy for two years, but we still
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: have sex often. She told me she ain't having sex
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: with him.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: I believed her too. Recently, when she told me he's
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: talking about.
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: Marriage he would go. My heart started beating fast. I panicked.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: I poured all my feelings to her, and I said
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: I wanted to be with her. I want to marry her.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: She said we could never be together because although we
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: are not blood relatives, our families are linked together so
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: closely it's like we related. I yelled at her, I
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: don't make love to my relatives. Why won't she give
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: us a chance.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: I don't want to lose her for good? So what
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: should I do? And we got to go to wall?
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: Baby, We got to fight, young homie, you twenty seven,
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: listen to somebody that had been to wall before. You
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: got to fight for this love of your life. You
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: can't let this punk ass dude when who is he?
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: And I said it right? You can't let this punker
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: ass do win.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: Who is he?
- 1:02:06Speaker 11: Nah?
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: Yes she do, Hirley. She just got this thing with
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: this family. She won't him. She just don't know how
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: to explain it. All this sneaking.
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: Around and now she didn't have this boyfriend for two years,
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: but she's still been sneaking around with the secret lover.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: She can't explain it because she in love with this boy.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: She'll just love what he do. Side but the side
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: piece got her turn.
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: Up though, See, because all through the relationships she still
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: got to get the side piece. It's because the side
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: piece is really the main course. He ain't a side dish.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: He the folk piece. Now, see, Charlie, he ain't the
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: cold slaw. He the folk piece. This dude is the
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: cold slow but the cold slough been gone public. So
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: now she's trying to turn cold slough and mashed potatoes
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: into a damn entree. And it ain't fit to work
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: because I ain't gonna let it go down like that.
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: Got home because we got to get up here and
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: go to walk. We had Burke, we finn to put
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: it in work. You let me explain something to you, don't.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: She ain't gonna get away this is your shot, homie.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: And see, listen to me.
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: We got to erase what the parents think. You still
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: in the game. Compare yourself to him. This is when
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: it's time. It's time to get the mud out. Now
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: it's mud slanging time.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: M h Who is he? And what is he to you?
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: My friend?
- 1:03:34Speaker 10: You want to hear that? Now?
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: It's their up pointed do tag. They keep trying to
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: tell me that I ought to not let you just
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: walk on me. Yeah, yes, she do.
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: S you don't know what I know, Charlon, Hey, you
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: don't understand, Sheerlon, we come back. I'm gonna finish up
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: with this letter. Come on, Bill, take us out now
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: we ain't Yes we do.
- 1:04:07Speaker 9: You're listening.
- 1:04:10Speaker 10: Morning show?
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: All right, here we are part three of the Strawberry Letter.
- 1:04:16Speaker 6: I disagree.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: There, appointed do too.
- 1:04:21Speaker 6: I'm tired of sneaking around with her.
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: Well, see, Shirley, this is the love of his life
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: and it's time for her to understand what they really have. See,
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: she don't even know what's the love of her life
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: because they're so busy trying to keep it a secret.
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: And then Mamma, then well when you gonna get somebody? Now,
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: she'd have showed up this boyfriend for two years. Now,
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: how you're gonna come back and tell her it's always
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: been your friend? That's the problem she got. She done,
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: got herself in the spider web. Well, since we're in
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: the spider web, that's gonna get all tangled up, because
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: now you got to start slinging mud. It's mud slinging
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: time now, homie. You got to start comparing yourself to him?
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: Who is he and what is he to you?
- 1:05:03Speaker 6: You understand here what he could get enough? All these
- 1:05:07Speaker 6: women out here, that's the.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: One he won't. No, No, the one he won't is
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: the love of his life. Shirley. Yeah, you don't always give,
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: but you can fight for it though. Compare yourself to her.
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: He can't love you like I do. He can't treat
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: you the way I can treat you. He can't won't
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: you the way I won't you.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: Ass moment, juice, brain, No damn night.
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: You don't bring no nineties world in the meat judy
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: bringing no damn jagget.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: Edge, No damn jagget as.
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: He can't love you like I love you?
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: What that is?
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: He can't protect you like I'll protect you. I have
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: loved you since the moment I saw you. You have
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: been the love of my life, since the moment we
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: touched to one another.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: I can't live without you. I don't breathe without you.
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: I want you more than I won't ad I love
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: you more than I love myself. That ain't a lot
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: of women can walk away from this sun, I'm telling you.
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: But now what you're gonna have to do is you're
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: gonna have to take your love for her public. Oh lord,
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: public affirmation is about time to come. If she don't,
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: then we go for the break. I'll go public with
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: my love for her. I'll go online and say I'm sorry,
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: and I just tell her in front of the world
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: that it may end it, but this is your shot.
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: But do not let the love of your life get
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: away just because she's dating this punk ass boy.
- 1:06:55Speaker 9: All right, See that ends, I hope Part three of
- 1:06:59Speaker 9: Today's Strubberry.
- 1:07:00Speaker 6: Okay, you're listening.
- 1:07:03Speaker 10: Morning show.
- 1:07:07Speaker 9: Steve's voicemail, and if you'd like to leave a message
- 1:07:10Speaker 9: for Steve, call him eight seven seven twenty nine Steve.
- 1:07:13Speaker 9: That's eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve. Well, you might
- 1:07:17Speaker 9: just hear your call on the air.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: Here we go.
- 1:07:19Speaker 6: Howard from Atlanta, Steve Tay Steve.
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: I'm Howard from Atlanta.
- 1:07:24Speaker 6: I'm a white guy that loves your.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: Show and I like black girls.
- 1:07:28Speaker 5: What advice will you do you have for me in
- 1:07:30Speaker 5: dating black girls? Because I keep striking out because I'm
- 1:07:33Speaker 5: too white? Sakes, Steve's love you man.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Well, I got two things for you.
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: When you say too white, I've never been that before,
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: so I really don't have any advice for your own
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: being too white. I've been accused of being too black before. Sah, yeah, yeah, well,
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: never been in the too white zone.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: Soul opposite.
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: You know, be proud of whoever you are, whatever you're doing,
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: be pride, take pride in yourself. All tanning is a
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: suggestion I might try, unless your whiteness is you're referring to.
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: Your soul content and your actions.
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: Like for example, if you try to date a girl
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: and go over their house and you bring some a dish,
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: you can't take punkin towel over there.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: That's too white. You know, you got to know that
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: that's just too white.
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: You can't bring the dressing to Thanksgiving and it's in
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: a box called stovetop.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: That's we just that's too white.
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: It's just some things you can't do just because it's
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: a missile toe hanging. You can't kiss everybody under the mistletoe.
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: That's grandmama. You don't grandmama.
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: Don't WoT that's too white.
- 1:08:54Speaker 5: Now.
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: The other advice if you do land a sister, buttle up,
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: hold on tight, come on you in for the ride
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: of your life. And this is not a sexual connotation.
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: I'm talking about all the rest of them. You are
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: going to be questioned about things, and I think you're
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: going trying to date some of the greatest forensic scientists
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: ever created. Yes, and they love to have a good time.
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: Let me give you the upside to dating sisters. I
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: don't think you can find nobody more beautiful. I don't
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: think they come any sexier. I don't think you can
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: walk any better. Come on, I don't think man, that
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: when they love you, you could get loved anymore. So
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: that right there is what's special about them. And that's
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: not to say that's not the case with anybody else.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: Said you will get it in a way that you
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: may have never had it before, not saying that other
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: people not capable of that. But I'm commending my sisters
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: because I know what they do. That's all I never had.
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: But you know, I know they talk about when you
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: become well off and all this, they always.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: Go somewhere else. I've been.
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: I've been at that crib the whole time. I don't
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: know nothing else. I appreciate them. I love I love
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: when the sheets go back.
- 1:10:28Speaker 3: M what happens?
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: Sheets go? This took a turn.
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: All of these tones is under that darkness?
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: Lord hens, are you listening to Howard?
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: Shades and tones? Each each area has a different tone
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: to That's what most most boles that I have been
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: with you have been at minimum try colored.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: I've always had a try colored woman. Yeah.
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: Three tone, mostly folk, because you got the skin, then
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: you've got the mouth, and then you got the dish,
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: and then you got home plate.
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: Years up.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: I think you're talking to Howard time.
- 1:11:38Speaker 12: The house.
- 1:11:41Speaker 9: Yeah, all right, thank you, Thank you Howard for your call,
- 1:11:46Speaker 9: and thank you Steve.

- 1:14:11Speaker 2: by your chests, that dry ice cloud comes out your crack,
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: leases up over the hump of your booty and slides
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: along your waist time roll up over your elbow, and
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: if it come down behind your shoulder, it looks like
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: dry ice, except it's invisible.
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: But it's going that white dry ice smoke. And then
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: it comes round your face and it just lock on
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: your face. You can't get it off.

- 1:15:07Speaker 7: You just need to stop walking.
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: If you walking and fly just buzzing round you just following, you,
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: just buzz You're looking like pig peeing on Charlie Brown?
- 1:15:25Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:15:26Speaker 9: Would you rather never age physically? Never age physically, or
- 1:15:30Speaker 9: would you rather never age mentally?
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: I could stay right here, I'm saying right here, I
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: got enough to make it on in If I think
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: like this at a hundred, I'll.
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: Be cool with it. Yeah, so physic physically, oh, physically,
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: stay right here? You would you rather never on the show?
- 1:15:47Speaker 5: You know?
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: You know, you know we're a pretty good look at
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: morning show when you look at it.
- 1:15:51Speaker 5: You know.
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: Yes, Tommy and Jr. Can still run. I can trot
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: for short distances.
- 1:16:01Speaker 7: We probably mobile shop.
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: For shocking distances.
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: If I do an outburst, it's got to be about
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: four five steps.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: I gotta ship it down. I immediately got to pull
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: up because I have heard about to come right after that.
- 1:16:18Speaker 6: Don't hurt nothing, don't pull anything.
- 1:16:22Speaker 8: Yeah, and Junior, what about you?
- 1:16:24Speaker 6: Would you rather never age physically or mentally?
- 1:16:27Speaker 5: No?
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: Mentally?
- 1:16:27Speaker 7: I want to be mentally, but physically it ain't working
- 1:16:30Speaker 7: for me. Now I'm just in there. I'm in it him,
- 1:16:32Speaker 7: but it ain't. Ain't nothing happening in.
- 1:16:34Speaker 9: There, Tommy quickly physically okay, okay, all right, well thank you.
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: That's our round.
- 1:16:43Speaker 5: There.
- 1:16:44Speaker 9: Then we'll be back with our last break.
- 1:16:48Speaker 11: Up the day and close.
- 1:16:51Speaker 5: Minutes after.
- 1:16:51Speaker 9: Right after that, you're listening.
- 1:16:55Speaker 10: Morning show.
- 1:16:56Speaker 9: All right, here we are, guys, our last break of
- 1:16:59Speaker 9: the day.
- 1:17:00Speaker 6: On this Monday. It's been a good day.
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, really really really Yeah. Kind of went by
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: kind of quick though it didn't. Yeah, I wasn't as
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: snappy today as I wanted to be.
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: I don't know what that. I just wasn't as snappy
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: as I wanted to be. Better, get snappy because I'm
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: not to take my but to work, so again, shit
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: off one job and go to another one.
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: Yeah, at least we got commercial breaks on this job.
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: You standing in front of that camera. I ain't no
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: off so you know, uh, let me let me say
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: this in closing. You know, I want to keep encouraging
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: people to keep to keep making an effort to make
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: your dreams come true. Look, I know that life can
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: be tough, at times, And I know there are times
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: when life seems like it's completely unfair. But life ain't
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: really fair. But life ain't really fair for anybody. And
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: what I mean by that's not fair, the unexpected always happens.
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: I mean, you know, as prepared as you may be,
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: you can be setting your plan for your day to
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: go one way or another way, and then something completely
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: happens out of the blue, and it seems unfair. Well,
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: I just want to remind you that that happens to everybody.
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: That's not just happening to you. Life happens to everybody,
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: And these sudden surprises they seem so unfair, but that's life.
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: The counter that you have for the unexpected is if
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: you are a believer, if you can work yourself up
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: to become a person of faith, if you can form
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: a relationship with your creator. The thing that will help
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: you get through all of that is the realization that
- 1:18:47Speaker 2: even though the unthinkable has happened, even though this unforeseen
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: circumstance has popped up, this unexplainable moment, just the fact
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: of knowing that God is with me no matter what happens.
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: He is a very present help for me in the good.
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: Times and the bad times, when it's sunny, when it's raining,
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: when it's thunderstorming, when the waves is real high, when
- 1:19:18Speaker 2: your ship gets turned over, it can get righted again.
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: You know, I want you to understand. Stop wanting everything
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: to be smooth for yourself. That's not realistic, y'all. That's
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: not what life is.
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: If life was.
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: Smooth for us all the time, we would have no
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: level of appreciation. We would have no need for faith,
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: We would have no relationship with God. I promise you
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: we wouldn't. If everything was level and smooth, there would
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: be no flow to life. You wouldn't even have really
- 1:19:59Speaker 2: mo if it stayed smooth all the time, you would
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: have no appreciation for sunny days because if the sun
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: shine every day, because we are human, all of us,
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: we would just get accustomed to it and we would
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: just go about thinking, oh, well, this is how it's
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: supposed to go.
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: But God treats the weather just like life.
- 1:20:25Speaker 2: It has its sunny days, it has its partly cloudy days,
- 1:20:30Speaker 2: it has its days when it's thunderstorming. It has its
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: days where it's windy outside. It has days where it's
- 1:20:38Speaker 2: just great. Then it has some days where it's just
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: perfectly beautiful weather. And then, just like life, the weather,
- 1:20:46Speaker 2: it has seasons to it. You have a season whereas
- 1:20:50Speaker 2: it just seems like for a period of time you're
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: just out here tall and working, and then it seems
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: like there's a period of time where it might seem
- 1:20:59Speaker 2: like all your crops is dead and it ain't nothing
- 1:21:02Speaker 2: coming out the ground. And then you'll have seasons in
- 1:21:05Speaker 2: your life where you're just harvesting the fruit and the
- 1:21:09Speaker 2: manner and the crops are coming all in. That's life,
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: and God gives us these examples of life, all through
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: nature and everything. When the leaves turn brown and orange,
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: how beautiful they can be. But if some people, if
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: you don't see the beauty of the orange and the
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: scarlets and the red and the oranges of the leaves,
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: then you miss the beauty of fall. If you just
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: sitting there going, oh, whoa lord, it's finna be winter now,
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: you spend the whole beautiful fall worried about.
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: When winter come.
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: When winter come, and that beautiful snow is coming out
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: the sky and you're able to go snowboarding and skiing
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: and sliding and making snow cream and making ice ice
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: milk and making snow men and making angels and stuff.
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: You missed the beauty of winter. Fix your mind, y'all.
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: This is life.
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: Life has all these ebbing flows, and we all wake
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: and alive to partake of all these heaven flows.
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: And it's a beautiful thing to be able to partake
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: of life with all this ups and downs, sunny days,
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: rainy days. What you need rain for flowers to go.
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: It's like God's word. It's just like the rain.
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: God does not send rain and snow to earth without
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: it returning something.
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: You know what I mean.
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: When the rain falls from the sky, it returns flowers.
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: When the rain falls from the sky, it returns greenery
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: in trees, it returns It supplies nourishment for seeds that
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: when rain going. When God gives his word, God don't
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: give you his word without a return. Open your mind
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: to God's word, man, It has a return value to it, y'all.
- 1:22:51Speaker 2: Get into a Get into your faith and understand what
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: God is saying to you. Don't let nobody fool you
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: at all this Illuminati conversation and all this foolishness right here.
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: God is real, man, God is very very real. He's
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: the truth of the matter. Sit up here and let
- 1:23:08Speaker 2: these people talk you into some okie dope that ain't real.
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: God is real, man. That Bible been around system, you
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: don't even know what it wasn't around. Every word in
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: it checking because it's truth. Get into your faith, y'all.
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: God loves you, man, It would be the best thing
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: for you. Talk to God.
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: He loved you. You don't have faith. Ask God for all.
