- 1:06Speaker 5: Love you gotta turn.
- 1:31Speaker 4: I can't.
- 1:41Speaker 6: Go to turn the mouth turn probably got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 6: mouth turn out a.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Wad of the morning up.
- 1:49Speaker 7: Look, come.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Come out you think that? Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice, come on
- 2:07Speaker 2: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got this
- 2:12Speaker 2: radio show. Man, How I got here? I really can't
- 2:17Speaker 2: explain it. Only by the grace of God, that's all
- 2:21Speaker 2: I can really tell you. I was talking with a
- 2:25Speaker 2: buddy the other day and he was telling me. He said, Man,
- 2:28Speaker 2: he had an interesting philosophy about it. He say. You know,
- 2:32Speaker 2: you can have dreams and visions, he say, but God,
- 2:37Speaker 2: God will never show you what all he has for you.
- 2:43Speaker 2: He won't show you all of it because he knows
- 2:46Speaker 2: you'll mess it up. And you know what, man, I
- 2:50Speaker 2: thought about that, and wow, how true is that? Okay?
- 2:56Speaker 2: I know that I got a radio show, and see it,
- 3:00Speaker 2: it's just become this major blessing for me. I didn't
- 3:04Speaker 2: see it. But if I would have seen it and
- 3:07Speaker 2: known when he had planned on giving it to me,
- 3:11Speaker 2: I would have messed it up because Number one, my
- 3:14Speaker 2: first question would have been to him, why I got
- 3:17Speaker 2: to wait so long? Why don't I go down hill
- 3:21Speaker 2: and start on the radio now? And then I'll be
- 3:25Speaker 2: in radio and then TYD, I see there God. But
- 3:29Speaker 2: see the thing about God is God don't need your help.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Matter of fact, he don't really want it. All he
- 3:36Speaker 2: wants is you to love him and obey if you
- 3:39Speaker 2: can do them two things I think I could be wrong.
- 3:43Speaker 2: I think he'd be really cool with us. So had
- 3:46Speaker 2: I known about these blessings that he had for me,
- 3:51Speaker 2: I would have messed him up because I would have
- 3:53Speaker 2: put my thinking in the figuring process, and that would
- 3:56Speaker 2: ejected it all up. That's the first thing I ask
- 4:00Speaker 2: why I got away so long? And then if he'd
- 4:03Speaker 2: shown me what I was gonna have to do to
- 4:05Speaker 2: get it, I would have showed messed that up. Man,
- 4:08Speaker 2: I ain't finna do that. I ain't finna do all
- 4:11Speaker 2: of that. Wait a minute, I got to go through
- 4:13Speaker 2: all of these mishaps in my life. So when I
- 4:16Speaker 2: get the radio show, I have something to share, Man,
- 4:21Speaker 2: why won't I just read a couple books and share
- 4:24Speaker 2: that experience with them? Now? See, I want you to
- 4:27Speaker 2: know what you're talking about. I want you to be transparent.
- 4:32Speaker 2: I want people to be able to identify with your
- 4:35Speaker 2: struggle and apply they struggle to it and see that
- 4:37Speaker 2: they can get over. See. God never shows you all
- 4:42Speaker 2: of it because he know we'll mess it up. I
- 4:44Speaker 2: wouldn't have any books, I certainly please know, I would
- 4:49Speaker 2: not be the host of family few can I tell
- 4:50Speaker 2: you that? It is amazing man, how God works, and
- 4:57Speaker 2: my invitation to everybody today is allowed God to work.
- 5:03Speaker 2: You know, you can ask him why all you want to,
- 5:05Speaker 2: and from time to time I still do no good
- 5:08Speaker 2: for me. But that'll me old woe is me? Lord?
- 5:11Speaker 2: Thing that don't really get it for me? Because when
- 5:14Speaker 2: I start asking him why, I'm asking somebody who has
- 5:17Speaker 2: a thought process so high above mind that there's no
- 5:20Speaker 2: way if he told it to me, I wouldn't even
- 5:22Speaker 2: get it. You wouldn't either, Uncle, I'll bright you think
- 5:25Speaker 2: you are. Man, You just ain't gonna get how and
- 5:27Speaker 2: why he does it his way. You're not going to
- 5:30Speaker 2: understand it. But he has a plan for each and
- 5:34Speaker 2: every one of us. And if we adhere to the plan,
- 5:37Speaker 2: if we submit ourself to his will and just say, okay, God,
- 5:40Speaker 2: what you want me to do. I am telling you
- 5:42Speaker 2: it is the best way to live. Now. You can
- 5:46Speaker 2: also do it the way I did it early on.
- 5:49Speaker 2: You can just do what you want to do and
- 5:52Speaker 2: see how it go from now. And I will tell
- 5:54Speaker 2: you from personal experience, it's not going to go good.
- 5:59Speaker 2: You know, my wife and I were talking the other
- 6:02Speaker 2: day and she said something with me, and I had
- 6:04Speaker 2: to write it down. She says, Steve, you know the
- 6:07Speaker 2: funny thing about sin. She says, sining costs you more
- 6:11Speaker 2: than you want to pay and causes you to stay
- 6:14Speaker 2: longer than you want to stay. I asked my wife
- 6:19Speaker 2: where she got that from. She says, some old person
- 6:22Speaker 2: told it to her. She says, sining cost you more
- 6:25Speaker 2: than you want to pay and causes you to stay
- 6:28Speaker 2: longer than you want to stay. That's the problem, man,
- 6:31Speaker 2: about doing what you want to do. Because we are
- 6:33Speaker 2: all sinners man, all of us, all of us, every
- 6:37Speaker 2: last one of us a sinners. You will be a
- 6:38Speaker 2: sinner until you die. Now, you could be saved by grace,
- 6:43Speaker 2: but You're going to be a sinner man. You are
- 6:45Speaker 2: going to make mistakes. You are going to in your
- 6:49Speaker 2: life knowingly do wrong. I bet you will. I don't
- 6:54Speaker 2: know who you think you are. I don't know who
- 6:56Speaker 2: you've been listening to. But get this, we are sinners.
- 7:00Speaker 2: We were born into a world that is sinful. Now
- 7:04Speaker 2: it's okay, it's okay, it's our world. But we can
- 7:09Speaker 2: make the best of it because we can form a
- 7:10Speaker 2: relationship with God and we can go to war with
- 7:14Speaker 2: this thing, you know, and we can win. You can
- 7:16Speaker 2: actually get over. Being born into this world is not
- 7:21Speaker 2: an end all. It doesn't mean you're doomed, nah man,
- 7:25Speaker 2: because God is available to give you life, and not
- 7:28Speaker 2: only give you life, but give it to you more abundantly.
- 7:31Speaker 2: I have more of an abundant life than I've ever had.
- 7:35Speaker 2: If you took away the finances, trust and believe, I
- 7:40Speaker 2: have so many things I could tell you that I'm
- 7:42Speaker 2: grateful for. For my wife, for my children, man, for
- 7:47Speaker 2: my family, for the few friends that I have, for
- 7:52Speaker 2: the work that I do, man for the respect that
- 7:56Speaker 2: some people that I feel around some people from the
- 7:59Speaker 2: reputation I have earned. Now I ain't cool with everybody.
- 8:02Speaker 2: I got that. I ain't cool with everybody. Everybody ain't
- 8:06Speaker 2: cool with me. Everybody don't like me. Man, get past
- 8:09Speaker 2: that right there. I don't care what you do. Everybody
- 8:13Speaker 2: are gonna like you. Some people didn't like Jesus. What
- 8:15Speaker 2: did he do? What did he do wrong to anybody?
- 8:21Speaker 2: Show it to me where he was just out there
- 8:24Speaker 2: just messing over folks, and you could justify all that
- 8:28Speaker 2: happened to him. Just show it to me. But he
- 8:31Speaker 2: knew everybody ain't gonna like me. I just come to
- 8:35Speaker 2: save y'all. Understand. I got you. Ain't feeling me. You're
- 8:39Speaker 2: gonna spit on me. You're gonna hang me up there,
- 8:41Speaker 2: You're gonna pierce my side. You're gonna do all that
- 8:43Speaker 2: to me. When you get through, I still love you.
- 8:46Speaker 2: That's a powerful statement. Man, God will take care of
- 8:50Speaker 2: you if you form this relationship with him. He has
- 8:54Speaker 2: something for you. He has a plan for you that
- 8:58Speaker 2: is beyond your imagine nation. He will give you the
- 9:01Speaker 2: desires of your heart. But he also has some stuff
- 9:04Speaker 2: in store for you that you're not even asking for.
- 9:07Speaker 2: That he is willing to ship to an address that
- 9:12Speaker 2: belongs to you as long as you stay on the
- 9:16Speaker 2: right path and are trying your best. God to ship
- 9:19Speaker 2: you the blessing anyway, because please know He's done it
- 9:22Speaker 2: to me. I'm a living witness to this that God
- 9:24Speaker 2: will ship you blessings and you ain't gonna be perfect.
- 9:27Speaker 2: But if he know your heart, man, if he know
- 9:29Speaker 2: you trying to do better, if he see you trying
- 9:32Speaker 2: to change, if he see you trying to get it right,
- 9:35Speaker 2: he understands that you're gonna stumble all the way through
- 9:39Speaker 2: this thing. But if he know your heart and he
- 9:42Speaker 2: know you trying to get it right and you doing
- 9:45Speaker 2: the best you can, boy, here, ship some stuff your way. Man.
- 9:48Speaker 2: You really be tripping, man, you will really be tripping.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man. It's crazy, ain't it.

- 10:22Speaker 2: show and extend this following statement to all of the
- 10:26Speaker 2: parents out there listening. Let me ask y'all something because
- 10:30Speaker 2: it bothered me. I just want to check with other
- 10:32Speaker 2: parents to make sure. Does it ever bother you? When
- 10:36Speaker 2: you think about all you do for so many people,
- 10:41Speaker 2: namely your children, you would think, with all of the
- 10:46Speaker 2: automatic stuff that we do for them every month, every
- 10:51Speaker 2: year and every day, you would think, after all we do,
- 10:57Speaker 2: is it not wrong of me could just want them
- 11:03Speaker 2: to say thank you every now and then? Man, thank you?
- 11:11Speaker 2: Because you know, I know some bad parents, So I
- 11:16Speaker 2: would just wondering, wouldn't it be nice if.
- 11:20Speaker 9: These un grateful and entitle funky I can't.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Even I got to edit the rest of what I
- 11:32Speaker 2: want to say in considerate kids, in considerate children of ours?
- 11:38Speaker 2: Is it wrong of me to just expect maybe every
- 11:41Speaker 2: nine and then just hey, daddy, thank you, Mama, thank you.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Y'all know you don't have to do this. You deposit
- 11:48Speaker 2: this for me, You help me with this, cab me here,

- 12:03Speaker 10: basic Yeah.

- 12:24Speaker 10: You just know you just get in and drive it.
- 12:27Speaker 10: That's all you do.
- 12:29Speaker 2: If it's just like I'll be going like yo, man,
- 12:33Speaker 2: I know I've been doing this for quite some time.
- 12:36Speaker 2: But you know, have you ever like wondered how this
- 12:40Speaker 2: just magically appears. Leprechauns ain't real.
- 12:45Speaker 10: The only time they'll realize it is when they have
- 12:49Speaker 10: kids of their own, and their kids grow up and
- 12:51Speaker 10: do it to them.
- 12:52Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying.
- 12:54Speaker 2: You know that like the end of the rainbow, do

- 21:17Speaker 10: two years old and I have been in and out
- 21:19Speaker 10: of the doctor's office because My man makes my asthma
- 21:22Speaker 10: flare up. His clothes and his car always smell like cigarettes,
- 21:26Speaker 10: but he told me he stopped smoking. Why lie to
- 21:29Speaker 10: me about something so serious?
- 21:32Speaker 2: Her question was, what, why lie.
- 21:34Speaker 1: To me about something so serious?
- 21:35Speaker 10: She is asthma, Her man always smells like cigarettes, his
- 21:39Speaker 10: house is closed, but he told her he stopped smoking, basically.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Okay, and he lied. Why would he lie about something
- 21:46Speaker 2: so serious?
- 21:48Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what she wants to do.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Okay, So what you want now? You stay in the hospital.
- 21:54Speaker 8: Uh huh.
- 21:54Speaker 2: You got to always go to the hospital because he
- 21:57Speaker 2: won't quit smoket you love him that much? Did you
- 22:04Speaker 2: stay with him? But you keep going to the hospital.
- 22:08Speaker 2: But your bigger question is he don't love you enough
- 22:11Speaker 2: to quit sending you to the hospital.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Okay, that's what.
- 22:17Speaker 2: I'm just trying. Why would he lie about something so
- 22:19Speaker 2: serious because he gonna keep smoking?
- 22:22Speaker 1: Clearly he's than.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Now if you don't like that, it's okay, your ass
- 22:30Speaker 2: back down to the hospital. All right, see some of
- 22:35Speaker 2: this stuff, Joyce? Why would he lie about something so serious?
- 22:38Speaker 2: We lie about way less than that.
- 22:41Speaker 1: When the truth clearly I don't even.
- 22:44Speaker 2: Know what the type of question that is, Why would
- 22:46Speaker 2: he lie about something so serious? We lie about sious though.
- 22:53Speaker 1: That's when you do your best work.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Some of my best lives has been last moment been
- 23:00Speaker 2: what some of my best lives has been in critical
- 23:03Speaker 2: last moments talking, I'm talking about smooth witty. I told
- 23:13Speaker 2: what I thought with life saving.
- 23:16Speaker 11: Swear your whole life.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Oh all right, we're moving on. I hope you got
- 23:23Speaker 1: the message.
- 23:23Speaker 10: Jocelyn uh Twanda and Carlsbad says, my boyfriend has befriended
- 23:29Speaker 10: my ex hubby and they work out together. I was
- 23:32Speaker 10: at the gem and it irritated me so much that
- 23:35Speaker 10: I decided to be overly nice to my ex in
- 23:38Speaker 10: front of my new man.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Why did he get so upset? How can he be friendly?
- 23:44Speaker 1: But I can't.
- 23:46Speaker 2: What you're calling the wrong radio show? When you won't me,
- 23:53Speaker 2: she wrote in to give you advice about a stupid
- 23:58Speaker 2: ass man, I ain't got nothing to say to you, damn.

- 24:09Speaker 12: What what.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Ween buddies ween working out together?
- 24:14Speaker 7: We?
- 24:14Speaker 2: Why? That don't make no damn sense.
- 24:17Speaker 11: Oh you're talking about her Karen boyfriend being friends?
- 24:20Speaker 2: That makes no damn sense. It all you his buddy
- 24:23Speaker 2: for what y'all black. Y'all have got to be white.
- 24:30Speaker 2: You got he's got white? No, they black? They black?
- 24:35Speaker 2: I just want them to be white. Oh be like
- 24:38Speaker 2: on family feud. Let me tell you what I saw
- 24:40Speaker 2: on Family Fuse. A man is standing next to his
- 24:44Speaker 2: wife and introduces me to his wife. Then he introduces
- 24:48Speaker 2: me to the next contestant units five. Contestant. Contestant number
- 24:52Speaker 2: three was his daughter. Okay, I'm thinking you know daughter white?
- 24:59Speaker 2: Who The next contestant, number four was a woman was
- 25:04Speaker 2: his ex wife. The man standing next to the ex
- 25:11Speaker 2: wife was her current husband, who is the captain's best friend.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Whoa they kept it closer.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Yeah, And then the little girl in the middle was
- 25:29Speaker 2: the daughter of the first wife, but she looked like
- 25:35Speaker 2: the second wife because I said, girl, you look just
- 25:39Speaker 2: like your mama, And that wasn't her, damn MoMA, and
- 25:42Speaker 2: that wasn't boy. You know I'll be doing looking at these,
- 25:46Speaker 2: I said, well, finally, finally I can say, are y'all
- 25:52Speaker 2: looking like?
- 25:54Speaker 15: Oh?
- 25:55Speaker 12: Yeah?
- 25:56Speaker 2: I said that by them. Bodist was hollering because you
- 25:58Speaker 2: don't show in Atlanta. They would holler, yeah, that's it
- 26:01Speaker 2: right there. I ain't got nothing for you. I don't know.
- 26:04Speaker 2: I don't know why he hears buddy, he's stupid.
- 26:05Speaker 1: Yeah, he can be friendly, but he doesn't want her
- 26:08Speaker 1: to be friendly with them.
- 26:10Speaker 2: Well, what you're friendly with him for?
- 26:12Speaker 1: Because it's irritating that they're friendly.
- 26:16Speaker 2: Yeah. Now, I'm gonna just tell you right now as
- 26:19Speaker 2: a Christian, I'm gonna say this as Christian as I can,
- 26:23Speaker 2: as soon as I know you to ex me and
- 26:25Speaker 2: your asses.
- 26:26Speaker 1: Enemies, instant hate.
- 26:32Speaker 2: I'm not finna play with you. Yes, and I don't
- 26:38Speaker 2: get there. How nice a guy you would? I don't
- 26:40Speaker 2: get whatever. Yeah, I hate you.
- 26:44Speaker 10: All right.
- 26:46Speaker 1: Moving on to Melissa in Brooklyn.
- 26:49Speaker 10: My Lissa says, I had sex with my mom's boyfriend
- 26:52Speaker 10: when I was in my twenties. I can still send
- 26:56Speaker 10: sexual tension between us, and he's still fine and in
- 27:00Speaker 10: great shape. My mom wants me to come stay with
- 27:04Speaker 10: them for Christmas. Should I get a hotel room instead? Well, tramp,
- 27:12Speaker 10: this is terrible.
- 27:15Speaker 2: Let me just give you a couple of back because
- 27:17Speaker 2: I see you trying to just happen in your twelve
- 27:19Speaker 2: Listen to this. You say that sexual at tension. Now,
- 27:24Speaker 2: the only way that sexual attention is cause you feeling
- 27:27Speaker 2: Uh see this ain't you feeling it off him, This
- 27:32Speaker 2: is you feeling it for him too, because you said
- 27:36Speaker 2: he's still fine as he in great shape. Uh huh yeah,
- 27:42Speaker 2: So see it's on your mind too. Don't dump it
- 27:44Speaker 2: on him. Can you stay your ass at the hotel?
- 27:51Speaker 2: But you go up in there, you already know what's
- 27:53Speaker 2: gonna happen, tension. You don't mama go to sleep.
- 27:58Speaker 1: But your mother though this is terrible helpful.
- 28:04Speaker 2: I'm gonna tell you, man, it's some trifling people in
- 28:07Speaker 2: this world. Yes, with no regard. Man, I'm gonna tell
- 28:13Speaker 2: you something. Man, If you had odds with your mother,
- 28:16Speaker 2: that says a lot about you as a person, and
- 28:19Speaker 2: it says more about you than anything because you have it.
- 28:23Speaker 2: There's one person you owe your life to and that
- 28:26Speaker 2: is your mother. And if you can't work it out
- 28:29Speaker 2: with her, it's something wrong with you. Here's a person
- 28:32Speaker 2: who gave herself to sacrifice for you and to pour
- 28:36Speaker 2: into you and give you life, and you can't work
- 28:38Speaker 2: it out with her, It's something wrong with that person
- 28:41Speaker 2: right there. You gotta look at that.
- 28:44Speaker 11: All right.
- 28:45Speaker 2: Ain't nothing my mama could have done. I wouldn't have
- 28:46Speaker 2: forgave her full.
- 28:47Speaker 10: No, absolutely not all right, thank you, Clo. Coming up next,
- 28:52Speaker 10: jez will be in the building. He's going to talk
- 28:55Speaker 10: about his brand new book. It's a best seller. It's
- 28:57Speaker 10: called Adversity for Sale. Right after this, you're listening.

- 30:03Speaker 12: Jezu jacins, how y'all feeling.
- 30:11Speaker 2: How you doing?
- 30:12Speaker 6: Man? Man?
- 30:13Speaker 12: I ain't doing no complainting maybe none whatsoever.
- 30:17Speaker 2: First, of all, man, I want to say thank you man,
- 30:19Speaker 2: because every year, I'm serious, he comes down to that
- 30:22Speaker 2: camp with the boys, and he pull into him, he
- 30:25Speaker 2: takes time with him. Ain't no rush job, you know,
- 30:28Speaker 2: and and all the young people know who he is,
- 30:31Speaker 2: and so they all is. And I just want to
- 30:33Speaker 2: say thank you, man for doing that.
- 30:35Speaker 12: And I appreciate it. And I want to say thank
- 30:37Speaker 12: you too, brother, for even allowing me the opportunity to
- 30:40Speaker 12: come to pour in them into building such a great
- 30:43Speaker 12: platform and a great space and a safe space for
- 30:46Speaker 12: these these young man. Man, they be amazing, brother. And
- 30:49Speaker 12: every year I come back, I've seen a few that's
- 30:51Speaker 12: been back a few times, and I get more and
- 30:54Speaker 12: more proud of every year. Brother. So just keep doing
- 30:57Speaker 12: what you're doing.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Thank you man. Hey, y'all, let's get you what now, jeszu.
- 31:01Speaker 2: We got a book out now. The book just call
- 31:02Speaker 2: Adversity for Sale. You talk about how you beat the
- 31:05Speaker 2: odds and you got out the streets to become a
- 31:08Speaker 2: successful business man. Tell us a little bit about the journey.
- 31:11Speaker 5: Bro.
- 31:11Speaker 12: I love to hit you, by the way, but we
- 31:13Speaker 12: got to add one more thing onto that. For two
- 31:16Speaker 12: much secutive weeks, I've been on the New York Times,
- 31:18Speaker 12: met some of them, and so you know, we got
- 31:20Speaker 12: we can. We have to put that in there, tell them,
- 31:27Speaker 12: you know, for me those seeing I mean, you know,
- 31:29Speaker 12: to be honest with you, like my purpose and my
- 31:32Speaker 12: mission in life, and I understand it more and more
- 31:34Speaker 12: every day. It's the point to my culching by example,
- 31:38Speaker 12: because I understand everybody that come from my walk of
- 31:41Speaker 12: life or come to where I come from, don't really
- 31:44Speaker 12: have any examples of what I wouldn't even say success,
- 31:48Speaker 12: just what walking in your faith looks like. And every time,
- 31:52Speaker 12: you know we talked earlier, I tell you I ain't
- 31:54Speaker 12: never had a bad day in my life because every
- 31:56Speaker 12: morning I wake up, I get a chance and the
- 31:59Speaker 12: opportunity to help change lives. And I feel like, you know,
- 32:03Speaker 12: my journey is no different from anybody else's. But the
- 32:07Speaker 12: thing about it, I'm willing to share it. I'm willing
- 32:10Speaker 12: to open up. I'm willing to be vulnerable about the
- 32:13Speaker 12: times that I didn't believe in myself and I had to,
- 32:17Speaker 12: you know, just go against this adversity. And I don't.
- 32:20Speaker 12: I don't ever want to be in a position where
- 32:22Speaker 12: people see the finished product and feel like that's what
- 32:24Speaker 12: success is. I want to tell you about my failure
- 32:27Speaker 12: because that's why I learned the most, and coming from
- 32:29Speaker 12: the streets into what I'm into now is just like
- 32:32Speaker 12: I always had that vision for myself. I just had
- 32:35Speaker 12: to align, you know, my goals with my purpose and
- 32:39Speaker 12: just walking safe and every every day wasn't promised. And
- 32:44Speaker 12: as I began to do things that made me feel
- 32:50Speaker 12: like I was making progress, that's when the worst would happen.
- 32:54Speaker 12: And this book is the stories about those things that happened.
- 32:58Speaker 12: And you would think that it was the end all
- 33:00Speaker 12: be all, and somehow, some way I was able to
- 33:03Speaker 12: navigate that. So I just hope this book helps you
- 33:05Speaker 12: know other people, and I would love to. Uh now,
- 33:08Speaker 12: I'm gonna say this on myself, and it's coming from me.
- 33:11Speaker 12: The next the next gap you have with young man,
- 33:16Speaker 12: I want to personally come and get each one everyone
- 33:18Speaker 12: that I'm gonna copy of my book myself.
- 33:20Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, gotta work.
- 33:22Speaker 8: Nice.
- 33:23Speaker 2: Hey man, Let me ask you a question, because I'm
- 33:24Speaker 2: listening to you talk. What was it that clicked for you?
- 33:28Speaker 2: Was there any one thing that happened that you said,
- 33:31Speaker 2: I got to get out these streets?
- 33:32Speaker 15: Man?
- 33:33Speaker 2: Oh, this ain't working.
- 33:35Speaker 12: What the thing about it is, I don't think a
- 33:37Speaker 12: lot of people know. Like, so, my father was in
- 33:39Speaker 12: the military, so I lived you know, white Japan and
- 33:43Speaker 12: all these different places, and with my parents divorced, I
- 33:47Speaker 12: had to go back to the hood in South Georgia.
- 33:49Speaker 12: And I knew instantly that there was a bigger world.
- 33:52Speaker 12: So my my pursuit to get back to that started,
- 33:57Speaker 12: you know, when I got dropped up at my grandmother's
- 33:59Speaker 12: house because I'm like, you know, like I got to
- 34:01Speaker 12: figure out how to you know, my palette was different. Man,
- 34:03Speaker 12: I was eating soushy at a young age. You know
- 34:06Speaker 12: now I say, now, I was just like, you know,
- 34:08Speaker 12: I got to get back to the life that I knew.
- 34:10Speaker 12: So I would tell my friends and my peers, like,
- 34:13Speaker 12: you know, there's beaches and palm trees, and nobody would
- 34:16Speaker 12: believe me. It was almost like I was telling these
- 34:18Speaker 12: fairy tales and you know, I knew better. And that's
- 34:22Speaker 12: when my pursuits started. And the thing about it is,
- 34:25Speaker 12: I went to the streets because you know, as a
- 34:29Speaker 12: young black man, and that's why I commit you on
- 34:31Speaker 12: making the safe space. There was no stafe space for me,
- 34:33Speaker 12: right Steve. I didn't have people I could talk to.
- 34:35Speaker 12: I didn't have any mentors. I didn't have any older uncles.
- 34:38Speaker 12: They had a vision or knew what they wanted in life.
- 34:41Speaker 12: They mostly worked their factories and stuff like that. So
- 34:45Speaker 12: I went to the streets because those were the guys
- 34:47Speaker 12: who actually had, you know, some type of vision for
- 34:51Speaker 12: themselves and they was trying to do better even though
- 34:54Speaker 12: they were doing you know, criminal activities, they actually knew
- 34:56Speaker 12: what they wanted to be like, and I resonated with them.
- 35:00Speaker 12: I knew that getting into the streets, I had two
- 35:02Speaker 12: goals not to get killed and not to go to jail.
- 35:05Speaker 12: And that's the only thing I cared about, and think
- 35:07Speaker 12: about it. I always had this vision for myself. Uh
- 35:10Speaker 12: three piece suit, you know, good skin, Uh plain Jane,
- 35:14Speaker 12: nice watch, plain Jane Redding band, you know, And that
- 35:17Speaker 12: was my business and everything I could do to get
- 35:20Speaker 12: to that, that's what I did. And I knew that
- 35:23Speaker 12: the streets wasn't for me because you know, I'm gonna
- 35:25Speaker 12: be honest, like I'm a fly guy man, you know,
- 35:27Speaker 12: jail ain't the place for me.
- 35:29Speaker 2: Yeah. And another thing too, it's how kind of hard
- 35:31Speaker 2: to have good skin on the streets. I don't know,
- 35:35Speaker 2: you know, hold on, man, we coming right back. We
- 35:38Speaker 2: got him on the line, y'all. The book is called
- 35:41Speaker 2: Adversity for Sale. You gotta believe. We're gonna find out
- 35:45Speaker 2: more about it when we come back with Jesus right
- 35:47Speaker 2: after this.
- 35:47Speaker 8: You're listening morning shall all.
- 35:51Speaker 2: Right, everybody, We're back in our special guest this morning
- 35:54Speaker 2: is the one and only Jay Jezu j on the
- 35:57Speaker 2: words and we say it down South, j Jesus Jenkins. Yeah,
- 36:03Speaker 2: Jay Jesus, Yeah, Yeah. I've been really shedding the light
- 36:07Speaker 2: on this new book.
- 36:08Speaker 7: Man.
- 36:08Speaker 2: It's called Adversity for Sale. You got to believe, and
- 36:12Speaker 2: we're talking about his journey. One of the things I
- 36:14Speaker 2: found fascinating, man, was you grew up in where father
- 36:18Speaker 2: was in the military, so you travel, so you were
- 36:20Speaker 2: in Hawaii, all around the world, and then when your
- 36:23Speaker 2: parents got divorced, you got dropped off at your grandmama's
- 36:26Speaker 2: house in the hood, and your whole goal was to
- 36:28Speaker 2: get back to that world that you knew existed. That's
- 36:33Speaker 2: an amazing thing. Because I try to tell people, exposure
- 36:38Speaker 2: is critical because once you've been exposed, you can't get unexposed.
- 36:42Speaker 2: That's right, You've become really a successful artist, your father, husband, entrepreneur.
- 36:49Speaker 2: In the book, do you give a glimpse to your
- 36:51Speaker 2: fan base or to the reader about those aspects of
- 36:54Speaker 2: your life.
- 36:55Speaker 12: I embrace evolution, and I think that that's a key.
- 37:00Speaker 12: Even when I was young and I was in the streets,
- 37:02Speaker 12: I was just thirsty for knowledge. A lot of people
- 37:05Speaker 12: wouldn't sit around the older people, but I would if
- 37:08Speaker 12: I sit around you. And I got game and I
- 37:10Speaker 12: got to understand it. And to this day, you know,
- 37:13Speaker 12: I'm still the same way, thirsty for knowledge and evolution.
- 37:16Speaker 12: And I think that's what it was. It's just like
- 37:19Speaker 12: I had a purpose back then, but I didn't understand it.
- 37:22Speaker 12: And my purpose was to learn so that I'm able
- 37:25Speaker 12: to translate this to you know, my peers and my
- 37:28Speaker 12: coach and the people around me in the simplest terms.
- 37:31Speaker 12: And that's why I was able to get into music
- 37:34Speaker 12: and make the type of records that I was making,
- 37:36Speaker 12: because that was our connection through the music. I was
- 37:39Speaker 12: learning and I was teaching through the music. And somebody
- 37:43Speaker 12: gave me this book, Thinking Grow Rich, maybe about eight
- 37:46Speaker 12: years ago, and it changed my life. And I just
- 37:48Speaker 12: sat there and I just read this book over and over,
- 37:50Speaker 12: and I was like, what if I put my life
- 37:52Speaker 12: in a book right and get my people to read.
- 37:56Speaker 12: And the thing is like, even now to this day,
- 37:58Speaker 12: I'm doing a book sign it and I got guy
- 38:00Speaker 12: coming say, man, I had to pick up a book
- 38:02Speaker 12: in high school. I haven't picked up a book because
- 38:04Speaker 12: I was in prison. And to me, that's to give
- 38:07Speaker 12: back because when you.
- 38:08Speaker 2: Actually, how do I do it?
- 38:10Speaker 12: I had to go out and get the information and
- 38:12Speaker 12: get the knowledge right, and now days I want to
- 38:16Speaker 12: give that back. So like I dropped out of school
- 38:18Speaker 12: in the fifth grade and went to the street. I
- 38:20Speaker 12: got my GED when I was in boot camp, when I.
- 38:23Speaker 2: Was locked up.
- 38:24Speaker 12: And even then, I had a friend that was on
- 38:27Speaker 12: the bottom bunk and he felled his GED twice and
- 38:30Speaker 12: I sat up and I tutored him for three months
- 38:33Speaker 12: and he passed the GED. So that's just the type
- 38:35Speaker 12: of person that I am.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Brother, I think this book can be so helpful to
- 38:39Speaker 2: young people, so helpful to adults. In the name of
- 38:42Speaker 2: the book is Adversity for Sale. It's online, it's anywhere
- 38:46Speaker 2: books or so. He's been on the New York Times

- 38:52Speaker 2: it up for Jesus Jacon.
- 38:55Speaker 12: Thank you, Thank you guys, y'all say blessed.
- 38:58Speaker 1: Y'all be all right, man coming up next.
- 39:01Speaker 10: Fans are split over the firing of a cast member
- 39:04Speaker 10: after she called another castmate a blue monkey.
- 39:07Speaker 1: We'll talk about that right after this you're.
- 39:10Speaker 8: Listening morning show?
- 39:13Speaker 2: All right?
- 39:14Speaker 10: Reality star Erica Minna was fired from her role on
- 39:19Speaker 10: MTV's Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. Mena was in a
- 39:22Speaker 10: heated discussion with her castmate Spice. You know Spice as
- 39:26Speaker 10: the Jamaican hip hop artist.
- 39:27Speaker 1: That wears only blue.
- 39:28Speaker 10: She only wears blue wigs, blue nails, blue clothing on
- 39:32Speaker 10: every episode of the show, and Spice told Mena that
- 39:36Speaker 10: her oldest son doesn't even like her.
- 39:38Speaker 1: Minna got upset.
- 39:39Speaker 10: She flipped the table on Spice and called her quote
- 39:43Speaker 10: a blue monkey and repeatedly called her a monkey. Mena
- 39:47Speaker 10: also said that Spice should have died after a recent
- 39:50Speaker 10: cosmetic surgery almost killed her. Mena was fired after the
- 39:55Speaker 10: episode aired. According to online sources, Mena is of Puerto
- 39:59Speaker 10: Rican Dominican descent.
- 40:02Speaker 1: That's the word I'm looking for, thank you, descent.
- 40:05Speaker 10: She does have two small children by a black man
- 40:08Speaker 10: and fans are really split on this steve of whether
- 40:10Speaker 10: or not Rika Mena should be fired because she has
- 40:13Speaker 10: been fired.
- 40:13Speaker 1: After that, the cast was upset about it all of that.
- 40:17Speaker 1: So what what do you think about the blue monkey
- 40:20Speaker 1: comment and all of that.
- 40:21Speaker 2: Well, she's gone, you know, yeah, so she fired. I'm
- 40:24Speaker 2: not marching to get the job back. Then. I'm not
- 40:28Speaker 2: making no pickets, sign buying, no stick, dining at home depot,
- 40:33Speaker 2: getting no I'm not gonna buy no cardboard and MG designs.

- 41:05Speaker 2: your mouth for you you going over here and watch
- 41:07Speaker 2: out now with your monkey looking ass. I heard stuff
- 41:10Speaker 2: like that, you know. But you know, if you say
- 41:12Speaker 2: it was differently, for say it look different, you know,
- 41:14Speaker 2: if you say, over here with your blue monkey looking ass.
- 41:16Speaker 1: You know you know where it's going.
- 41:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't hurt people. I didn't. I didn't said
- 41:22Speaker 2: it myself, you know with your Planet of the eight
- 41:24Speaker 2: looking ass. You know I said that sometimes you ain't
- 41:26Speaker 2: got to go monkey. You can use eight. Uh. You
- 41:29Speaker 2: know you stand over here, some gorilla looking ass. You
- 41:32Speaker 2: know you think bab blood ass. You know there's a

- 41:45Speaker 2: blue monkey?
- 41:47Speaker 6: Nah?

- 42:29Speaker 2: She started it by talking about her son.
- 42:31Speaker 1: She said that Erica Mena's son doesn't like her.

- 54:56Speaker 10: My child has gone off to junior college. So I
- 54:59Speaker 10: allowed my boyfriend to stay overnight at my place. Finally,
- 55:04Speaker 10: we have the best time when we're together, and he
- 55:07Speaker 10: promised that he'd help me spruce up a few things
- 55:09Speaker 10: in my house. He commented on how much stuff I
- 55:12Speaker 10: had packed into my closet. I told him I needed
- 55:15Speaker 10: to hire an organizer to make.
- 55:17Speaker 1: It all fit.
- 55:18Speaker 10: He said he would do it himself so he could
- 55:20Speaker 10: make room for his clothes. It was a joke to me,
- 55:23Speaker 10: but he didn't laugh. Our sleepovers continued, and he brought
- 55:27Speaker 10: a bag full of clothes each time.
- 55:30Speaker 1: He started out with his boxer briefs and T shirts.
- 55:33Speaker 10: Then he left a pair of tennis shoes in my closet,
- 55:36Speaker 10: and when I asked him about it, he said he
- 55:38Speaker 10: wanted us to go jogging in the mornings after our sleepovers.
- 55:42Speaker 10: I've been out of the dating scene for so long,
- 55:45Speaker 10: I was oblivious to how he was slowly moving in
- 55:48Speaker 10: on me.
- 55:49Speaker 1: By the end of August, he was leaving his watch
- 55:52Speaker 1: and cuff links.
- 55:53Speaker 10: I found that out when he called me one morning
- 55:56Speaker 10: and said he needed to come by to get his watch.
- 55:59Speaker 1: He told me it was in the top drawer on
- 56:01Speaker 1: quote his side of the bed.
- 56:04Speaker 10: I put his watch, his dow rag, and his cufflings
- 56:07Speaker 10: and a small bag, and when he came by, I
- 56:10Speaker 10: told him I needed some space.
- 56:12Speaker 1: I went for a whole week without answering his calls.
- 56:15Speaker 10: A week later, I got home from work and my kitchen,
- 56:19Speaker 10: table and chairs were in the driveway. He broke into
- 56:23Speaker 10: my house and he painted my kitchen like he promised
- 56:27Speaker 10: to do. He said, I'm not used to a man
- 56:29Speaker 10: like him, and he's willing to be patient with me.
- 56:32Speaker 10: Now I am confused, thinking I'm sabotaging a good thing.
- 56:36Speaker 10: Is he being kind or is he psycho? I want
- 56:39Speaker 10: to take I want to take charge guy, But is
- 56:42Speaker 10: he doing too much?
- 56:43Speaker 12: Yes?
- 56:44Speaker 10: Girl, this man broke into your house. He broke in
- 56:47Speaker 10: in red flag, red flag, red flag.
- 56:50Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 56:51Speaker 10: This is not a nice surprise. It's not some nice
- 56:53Speaker 10: gesture on his part. It's scary and that's not cool
- 56:57Speaker 10: under any circumstances. So, yes, he's doing way too much.
- 57:01Speaker 10: To answer your question, he was already slowly moving in
- 57:04Speaker 10: on you. You guys hadn't disgusted. You didn't ask him
- 57:08Speaker 10: to move in. There was no talk of like future
- 57:10Speaker 10: plans for you two, not even where is this relationship
- 57:14Speaker 10: going talk mentioned in this letter. He just randomly started
- 57:18Speaker 10: bringing his stuff over and he claimed a whole side
- 57:22Speaker 10: of your bed. Who just starts bringing bags of clothes over?
- 57:26Speaker 10: I don't think it's cute, and I do think it's
- 57:28Speaker 10: a cause for concern. And one thing is true that
- 57:30Speaker 10: you said in a letter I'm sure, and that is
- 57:34Speaker 10: you're not used to a man like him, especially ones
- 57:37Speaker 10: who's gonna break into your house. I mean, the crazy
- 57:39Speaker 10: part is is that he sees nothing wrong with this.
- 57:42Speaker 10: So when he I just say, so what. He painted
- 57:45Speaker 10: your house, You told him you need a space, you
- 57:48Speaker 10: gave him his things back. He obviously thought you were playing.
- 57:51Speaker 10: He didn't take you seriously. I say, change the locks
- 57:54Speaker 10: on your doors immediately, Steve.
- 57:57Speaker 2: I disagree with every damn thing Shirley said. Girl, you
- 58:03Speaker 2: are looking at a gift in your mouth and your
- 58:08Speaker 2: dumb ass fitting to walk away. You can't be no
- 58:12Speaker 2: most stupid than you are in this letter. Complain and
- 58:16Speaker 2: and complain in the glass. Y'all kill me with this. Ladies,
- 58:20Speaker 2: y'all want a man to cover you, want a man
- 58:23Speaker 2: to take care of you. Want a man to be lawyer,
- 58:26Speaker 2: Want a man to provide for you. Want a man
- 58:29Speaker 2: that's thoughtful, Want a man that's considerate. Then when you
- 58:33Speaker 2: get one, because you ain't used to that, your dumb
- 58:38Speaker 2: ass wants to get rid of a good man. You're
- 58:42Speaker 2: so stupid. Let me tell you how mad I am
- 58:45Speaker 2: at this letter. And Shelley Strawberry response, God, ah, y'all,
- 58:51Speaker 2: you don't whatever me. I didn't say nothing. Why you
- 58:55Speaker 2: was giving this ignor ass answer to this ignoran ass lady.
- 58:58Speaker 2: And then y'all sitting together like y'all always do. This
- 59:02Speaker 2: is what y'all do, Ladies, y'all get together with a
- 59:05Speaker 2: cup of tea and some wine, and y'all get in
- 59:08Speaker 2: a group and exchange badass information about men. And then
- 59:14Speaker 2: y'all all agree with it cause y'all don't know. And
- 59:18Speaker 2: today that's fitting to stop on the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 59:23Speaker 2: I'm speaking up for well meaning, well deserving hard men,
- 59:28Speaker 2: and you got wrong. She forty eight and divorced. Why
- 59:32Speaker 2: you get a divorce because you had a sorry ass man,
- 59:36Speaker 2: That's why. Then your baby going off to junior college,
- 59:39Speaker 2: so you let your boyfriends stay all the night. We
- 59:42Speaker 2: have the best time when we together. Right there, We
- 59:45Speaker 2: have the best time when we together. You ain't said
- 59:49Speaker 2: nothing wrong with this man in two cents, But then
- 59:52Speaker 2: after this you start to find something wrong that ain't
- 59:55Speaker 2: really wrong. When we come back, I'm gonna destroy the letter,
- 59:59Speaker 2: right Charlie's response, this ray, oh, y'all coming.
- 1:00:05Speaker 10: Up coming up in twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:08Speaker 10: Steve's raggedy response is coming up to this strawberry letter. Uh,
- 1:00:12Speaker 10: my ex broke in and painted my kitchen. We'll get
- 1:00:16Speaker 10: back into it right after this.
- 1:00:18Speaker 8: You're listening Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:00:21Speaker 10: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: The subject is he my ex broke in and painted
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: my kitchen.
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: Well, let me reiterate on something you said when we
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: were going out on the last break. You said we'll
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: be back. With Steve's raggedy.
- 1:00:35Speaker 8: Answer, I sure did.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: The raggedy. Answer was this messy you game? In the
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: words of Bon Sanders, that bull junk reply, it's hot
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: with raggedy. You're the tardest woman to change her locks.
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: Run it's a red flag. Get away from him, Get
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: away from him? For what, ladies, what's wrong with y'all?
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: You want a man to do something for You want
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: a man that's thoughtful, because consider it hardworking, a provider,
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: loyal ain't hard to find. Then you get one, and
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: now you don't know what it looked like. So now
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: you're scared of y'all ready and had one damn divorce
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: because you didn't know what you was doing in the
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: first place. Now you'd have found somebody else. And every
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: time we get together, we have the best time for
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: we together. Then he said, you promised me he'd help
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: spruce up a few things in my house. Oh you
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: saying he made a promise that he was spruce up
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: some stuff in the house. Okay, let's go ahead on.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: He commented on how much stuff I had packed in
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: your closet. You know how y'all do. Y'all got them
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: doors you can't open at y'all's house. All y'all stuff
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: just throwed up in there. So he commented on it.
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: He told it. I told him I needed to hire
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: an organizer to make it all fit. He said, you
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: ain't got to do that. I'm gonna do it for you, baby,
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: consider it a provider, hard worker. Okay, I'm gonna do
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: it for you. So he could make room for his clothes.
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: It was a joke to me. He wasn't joking. He
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: told you, I gonna help you clean his I'm gonna
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: make some room for my clothes. You was a joke
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: to you, But he didn't laugh. Well ha ha, he
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: he had.
- 1:02:07Speaker 7: Then.
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: It wasn't no damn joke, wasn't. He told you what
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: he was gonna do. Anyway, our sleepovers continued. Oh I
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: wonder why you kept letting him sleep oat. You didn't
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: want to put that in the left to do? Is
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: that part of that best time y'all had when y'all together?
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: All right? So now you got a man that promise
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: to clean your claws and out, promise he'd do some things,
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: help fix your householver, and he fry your bacon just
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: like you like it. He up in there frying your
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: bacage just like you like you want to ask extra
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: Chrispi tonight and here had come old hot grease, and
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: I'll continue. He bought a bag full of clothes each
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: time he started out with his box of briefs and
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: T shirt. That's because you gotta be a changed when
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: you leave. He didn't let a pair of tennis shoes
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: in my closet. When I asked him about it, he
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: said he wanted us to go jogging in the mornings
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: after our sleep over. I've been out on the daytons,
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: I've been out on dating scene for so long. I
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: was oblivious to hey was slowly moving in on me.
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: He bought a bag of clothes with him every time
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: he came over. How is your blind ass oblivious to that?
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: You remember that to write this letter. You didn't think
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: nothing of it. But when he bought the bag of clothes,
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: you didn't tell him, don't bring nothing else in him.
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: He brought every time. By the end of August, he
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: was leaving his watching COMF league. Wait a minute, he
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: dressed up to go to work. You're taking the man
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: with up with mobility. You taking a man that's trying
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: to be something go work every day. I'm sorry I
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: found that out when he called me one morning and
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: said he needed to come back to get his watch.
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: He told me there was in the top drawer on
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: his side of the bed. What you mean on your
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: side of the bed? Y'all sad? Y'all sleepovers continued when
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: y'all get through sleeping and he get over. He sleep
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: on one side of the bed every night. That's his
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: side of the bed. Your ass don't sleep over there.
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: So now whose side of the bed is? I put
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: his watch, his dow rag in his cofflings, Oh do rag.
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: He got waves, He got waves, He got waves. He
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: he got waves. He gotta get a haircut. You ain't
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: gotta sit up and play his hair. You know you
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: ain't got to buy dread wash. You ain't got to do.
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: He gotta pick out his hair. He got waves, he
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: got waves. And I told him I put his cofflings
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: in a small bag. And when he came back, I
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: told him I needed some space. Okay, cool, you need
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: some space. Cool. So now I went a whole week
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: without answering his call. So now, okay, cool. He took that.
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: But he loved you though, still thinking about you, still
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: wanting to keep his promise to you. So I went
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: a whole week without answering this call a week later,
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: now it's two weeks. Now, I got home for work
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: and my kitchen, table and chairs was in the driveway.
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: He broke into my house and he painted my kitchen
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: like he promised to do. You didn't come in the house,
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: and he was laying up the half neck across the beach.
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: He opened your house and painted your entire kitchen like
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: he promised to do. You mean to tell me he
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: keeping promises. You mean to tell me that even after
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: two weeks and not calling him, he still wanted to
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: show you how he felt and was willing to provide
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: for you. And he said, I'm not used to a
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: man like him, and he's willing to be patient with me.
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: Now I'm confused, thinking I'm sabotaging a good thing. Your
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: dumb ass show is And if you're listening to Shanny
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: talk about something, run to change your locks and all that.
- 1:05:31Speaker 8: And he's a little.
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: Sabotage and a good thing. You're gonna take charge. God,
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: but now he doing too much? What you want? All right?
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: We want a man, all child shaney repose was ignorant, No,

- 1:09:12Speaker 10: So this is from Anonymous in Virginia. Anonymous says, I'm
- 1:09:17Speaker 10: really close to one of my male co workers, and
- 1:09:20Speaker 10: the other day we crossed the line and had sex
- 1:09:23Speaker 10: in his car after work. The next day, I couldn't
- 1:09:26Speaker 10: get into work and I realized I left my badge
- 1:09:29Speaker 10: in my co worker's car. He called in sick, so
- 1:09:33Speaker 10: I had to pay fifty dollars to get a new
- 1:09:35Speaker 10: badge made. Then he texted me after lunch and said
- 1:09:38Speaker 10: his wife found my badge in the car, and he
- 1:09:41Speaker 10: told her that we were just talking. His wife as
- 1:09:44Speaker 10: I rate and plans to call my husband. My husband
- 1:09:47Speaker 10: is still acting like he hasn't heard anything. Should I
- 1:09:50Speaker 10: make up an excuse for being in my coworker's car
- 1:09:52Speaker 10: and tell it to my husband before she calls him?
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: So both of y'all was there. I mean, the wife
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: is gonna call the letter writer's husband.
- 1:10:05Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, because she found the badge. Yeah, she found
- 1:10:10Speaker 10: the badge in her husband's car.
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: Well, I know this ain't gonna be surprising to nobody,
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: but your ass got to get to line. But like,
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: what what?
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: What kind of life will fix this?
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: I don't know because just from right here, see the
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: the the dude you got in the car and had
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: sex with his wife ain't buying none of that. So
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: she is saying, I'll tell you what, My marriage ain't
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: gonna be the only one affected by the hell have
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: no fury like a woman's scroll. And do you know
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: I thought that was a scripture. That is because it's
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: so real and truth. That's not a scripture, y'all, But
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: it did sound very difficult when it happened to me.
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: But it's and it's very real.
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: And it's very real, and so she gonna call. So
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: you need to do something. I don't. I can't help you,
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: you know, y'all was you know, everybody was going out
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: to eat for lunch and he was going a certain way.
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: He was going to a certain and so you all
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: decided to go and ride together. It was other people
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: in the car. It wasn't just you. Other people.
- 1:11:27Speaker 7: Come off in the car.
- 1:11:28Speaker 11: Why did you feel the need to take your badge off?
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: Because I wasted ice on my thighs and then I
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: dropped down in the floor to look for it and
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: my badge came.
- 1:11:37Speaker 7: Over my.
- 1:11:39Speaker 12: Around your head.
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: Well, I had to take it off my neck because
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: I was dabbing my work suit off.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: Get Oh okay.
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: And I cleaned my badge off so it would work
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: on the detective. I wiped it off and I accidentally
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: left it in the car. Oh, because I took it
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: off when I waste my tea on it? You know
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: how I do it? Oh? Okay?
- 1:11:57Speaker 11: So then I can ask the husband did he see
- 1:12:00Speaker 11: coffee stains?
- 1:12:01Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: No, there was tea. You're not gonna see tea, stags.
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: This wasn't coffee.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: Sweet This wasn't coffee sweetie, like right.
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: Right, your facts straight. And it was a real light
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: tea because I had asked for extra ice. So it
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: wasn't even Harley Brown no more. It was it was
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: damn near cliff.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: It's all about the details. When you tell a lie,
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: found like stick.
- 1:12:35Speaker 8: I like that lie.
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: I believe it. It was other people in the car,
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: So I don't know why she mad at me. There
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: was other picture in the car. But he slammed on
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: his brakes and boom by all that teeth went splashed everywhere,
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: and I was I was back then, I was sitting
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: in the back any day.
- 1:12:51Speaker 10: Okay, okay, here's a question. Are the two co workers
- 1:12:54Speaker 10: still going to be getting together after words?
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: They don't stop?
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: Right, it's over.
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: See you've got the warning shot. You didn't get brusted.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: That's right.
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: See God always gives you a chance. He always gives
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: you a chance when you make a mistake. Well, the
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: first one, he fires a shot in the ass. This
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: is a shot in the air. But y'all have had
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: the shot in the air before, so this one was
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: he took a little bit of your eLOAD meat off.
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: So this somebody else has had wondering what y'all was
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: up to, and you didn't heed that warning. Now you're
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: the left the thing in the car. Now, God can
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: fired this shot that took a little eLOAD meat off.
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: If you do it again, the next bullet is in
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: your teeth.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: Okay, all right, I'll be doing some question.
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, coming up there next time, somebody's gonna
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: be knocking on the window, and you're gonna know this
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: person real well.
