- 1:46Speaker 1: turn the water the water. Come come on your back
- 1:59Speaker 1: at it. Uh huh, I shall will Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:09Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show man, Yeah,
- 2:12Speaker 1: I do. Man, what an amazing blessing. God has given
- 2:19Speaker 1: me my health, my strength, my will power, my dreams,
- 2:26Speaker 1: all of it. God gave it to me. I accept it.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I work hard, but man on, man on, man, I
- 2:35Speaker 1: work hard. Is something that He gave me a gift.
- 2:39Speaker 1: And that's what I want to talk to you about today,
- 2:42Speaker 1: because God has gifted everyone, so I can't help but
- 2:46Speaker 1: believe it. You are gifted in some way. Something about you.
- 2:52Speaker 1: It's special and unique. Now that means that doesn't mean
- 2:55Speaker 1: You're the only one that can see. Are you the
- 2:58Speaker 1: only one that can write? Are you the only one
- 3:00Speaker 1: that can draw, You're the only one that can decorate.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Or you're the only one that can network, or you're
- 3:06Speaker 1: the only one that that's not what it means. Or
- 3:08Speaker 1: you have a great scientific mind, or you can figure
- 3:11Speaker 1: things out, or you're good at problem solving. You're not
- 3:13Speaker 1: the only one, but but you, But you are a
- 3:15Speaker 1: unique individual. Nobody will travel the exact path that you're on.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Nobody will have everything happened in a series of circumstances,
- 3:24Speaker 1: in in in the order that you're gonna have it
- 3:26Speaker 1: happened to you. That's what I mean when I say
- 3:29Speaker 1: that you are unique. But now because you are gifted,
- 3:34Speaker 1: you know you have something you have to do. You know, Uh,
- 3:38Speaker 1: there's a scripture. It's in Proverbs, Proverbs eighteen and sixteen.
- 3:43Speaker 1: I've been trying to be a little bit better at
- 3:45Speaker 1: that for you, you you know. Uh. So when I have
- 3:48Speaker 1: an idea and I know where it is, I have
- 3:50Speaker 1: somebody looked the scripture up from it handed to me.
- 3:53Speaker 1: So it's in Proverbs eighteen sixteen. And this is the
- 3:57Speaker 1: layman's term of it. It says a man's gift make
- 4:00Speaker 1: room for him and brings him before great men. It
- 4:05Speaker 1: is your gift that will make room for you. Now
- 4:08Speaker 1: my interpretation of this is this. Now I could be wrong.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Please go to your local church, syner God, Temple, Mass,
- 4:15Speaker 1: whatever you do and go get clarification. But what my
- 4:20Speaker 1: gift has done in making room for me is I've
- 4:24Speaker 1: taken it almost in the literal sins. My gift has
- 4:27Speaker 1: actually made room for me. It has made it has
- 4:30Speaker 1: cleared paths for me. My gift has opened up doors
- 4:34Speaker 1: for me. That's what I take it as. It will
- 4:37Speaker 1: make room for you. My gift has is broadened my
- 4:41Speaker 1: ability to travel. My gift has opened my eyes to fashion.
- 4:46Speaker 1: My gift has caused me to be able to uh
- 4:51Speaker 1: provide for my family. My gift has caused me to
- 4:56Speaker 1: be able to to reach more people. That's what I'm
- 4:58Speaker 1: saying in terms of it it will make room for you.
- 5:02Speaker 1: That there may be another interpretation. I'm just telling you
- 5:04Speaker 1: how I took it, that It's worked out pretty good
- 5:07Speaker 1: for me to that understanding. But I'm pretty sure Bishop
- 5:10Speaker 1: Jake's Joel olds thin Kenney for alma Um, you know God.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Glenn Staples, Bishop Glenn's tables. These guys give you much
- 5:17Speaker 1: better understanding of it. I'm just giving it to you,
- 5:20Speaker 1: you know way, I know how so you know it.
- 5:22Speaker 1: It's kind of yeah, I don't know. I just like
- 5:26Speaker 1: to keep it right there. But and then it says
- 5:29Speaker 1: that it brings you before great men. I mean, you know,
- 5:33Speaker 1: it's gonna take your places. It's gonna take your places
- 5:36Speaker 1: you never thought of going. You're gonna meet people because
- 5:40Speaker 1: of your gift. I told my son, who who two
- 5:43Speaker 1: of them are good photographers. You'll be taking pictures of
- 5:45Speaker 1: great men. And then I messed with him. You already
- 5:48Speaker 1: taking pictures, Say your daddy, you know I'm messing with
- 5:50Speaker 1: him like that. But that's just me and I'm just
- 5:52Speaker 1: kicking it. But you know, but one day, who knows,
- 5:54Speaker 1: you could be shooting the president. You know, you could
- 5:57Speaker 1: be shooting some foreign dignitaries. You know, you could be
- 6:00Speaker 1: shooting great sport events. You know, you never know where
- 6:03Speaker 1: it could take you. But that's your gift. But what
- 6:06Speaker 1: what you gotta do is you gotta get to moving though. See,
- 6:09Speaker 1: you can't have your gift and not do nothing with it. See,
- 6:12Speaker 1: you know what that reminds me of It's something that
- 6:16Speaker 1: that my father used to say, get up off your
- 6:19Speaker 1: butt because you're sitting on a gold mine. He say
- 6:23Speaker 1: that all the time. Boy, get up off your butt
- 6:26Speaker 1: and move it, because you're sitting on a gold mine.
- 6:28Speaker 1: I never really quite got that when I was little,
- 6:30Speaker 1: but now that I'm an adult, I got it full well. See,
- 6:33Speaker 1: a lot of you are sitting on a gold mine.
- 6:37Speaker 1: You're sitting on a talent or a gift that you have.
- 6:40Speaker 1: You're sitting on an ability. I don't care if it's
- 6:43Speaker 1: making cakes or pies, you know, I don't. I don't care.
- 6:46Speaker 1: That's a gift, man. That's a talent. I don't care.
- 6:50Speaker 1: If it's the ability to do hell on your kitchen,
- 6:53Speaker 1: on your back porch, that's a gift. Man. Half of
- 6:56Speaker 1: you are gifted. A lot of us are gifted, and
- 6:59Speaker 1: we're sitting on it, looking at other people, wondering what
- 7:03Speaker 1: can I do to make it? You already got something
- 7:05Speaker 1: to make it with if you would just get up
- 7:08Speaker 1: off your behind, man, quit sitting on that gold mine.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Some of you are tech savvy, just a whiz is
- 7:15Speaker 1: when it comes to engineering and putting stuff together and
- 7:19Speaker 1: cables and wires and and computers and stuff. And now
- 7:22Speaker 1: you steady looking around trying to figure out, Man, wonder
- 7:25Speaker 1: what I can go do? Go do that? How about
- 7:29Speaker 1: you go do that? You know this, it ain't that hard, man,
- 7:33Speaker 1: if you would just take note of what God has
- 7:36Speaker 1: given you already. He has given you a gift already.
- 7:40Speaker 1: He has already given you a talent. Now the fact
- 7:43Speaker 1: that you ain't using it and you're sitting on your
- 7:45Speaker 1: tail somewhere what not? Now? Who fathers? What we're talking about? Well?
- 7:52Speaker 1: What what you you blaming God for that? I'm man.
- 7:55Speaker 1: I tell you what. I sit around people all the
- 7:58Speaker 1: time who are gifted, and I'm looking at their gilts,
- 8:02Speaker 1: and they steady complaining about what they don't have, but
- 8:05Speaker 1: will not get up off there behind and use the
- 8:09Speaker 1: gifts that God gave them. And it's frustrating. It's frusting.
- 8:14Speaker 1: It's gotta be frustrating for you if you're doing it,
- 8:17Speaker 1: because it's frustrating for me when I see it. So
- 8:20Speaker 1: when these people come to me and ask me for help,
- 8:22Speaker 1: I just keep going the same thing over and over.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Help yourself, man, do for you use your gift. It's
- 8:29Speaker 1: a cat sitting behind the wall right now. That's locked up.
- 8:33Speaker 1: That's so good at artistry. It's cats in that tattoo
- 8:36Speaker 1: and everybody, man, get out, do it the right way.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Quit selling drugs, man. You ain't going nowhere selling no drugs.
- 8:44Speaker 1: You're going to jail. You think saw you're going to jail. Man.
- 8:48Speaker 1: And if that don't do it, somebody's gonna get tired
- 8:50Speaker 1: of you selling drugs because they're gonna want to sell
- 8:52Speaker 1: them over and they're gonna kill you. Let's just keep
- 8:54Speaker 1: this thing real for just a second. Here, Come on, man,
- 8:59Speaker 1: get up your butt, because you're sitting on the gold mine,
- 9:02Speaker 1: and you're sitting up here. Somebody always looking for a
- 9:04Speaker 1: shortcut to the top. Ain't no shortcut. Somebody told me
- 9:08Speaker 1: this the other day. Man. The road to success is
- 9:11Speaker 1: always under construction. It ain't paved, it ain't free of barrels.
- 9:18Speaker 1: It's got detourl signs on it. It's got slow men working.
- 9:24Speaker 1: It's got delays. Sometimes they flipped the stop sign. You
- 9:29Speaker 1: gotta sit there and wait. Sometimes they got slow. There's traffic,
- 9:33Speaker 1: there's accidents. Somebody on the road holding up things with
- 9:37Speaker 1: a flat tie. Sometimes you get a flat tie. It's nails,
- 9:41Speaker 1: it's gravels. This spike is everything. The road to success
- 9:45Speaker 1: is always under construction. It ain't getting ready to be
- 9:49Speaker 1: easy just because you didn't decided to do it. But
- 9:52Speaker 1: don't sit around on your behind and complain all the
- 9:55Speaker 1: time about what you don't have. My daddy said it, Man,
- 9:58Speaker 1: get up off your butt as you're sitting on the
- 10:01Speaker 1: gold mine. You got a gift, You gotta talent. You
- 10:04Speaker 1: got something that you can do that could make a
- 10:07Speaker 1: way for you, but you won't do it. It is
- 10:10Speaker 1: within you. Stop looking around. Here's where people waste the
- 10:14Speaker 1: most time on the road to success, looking around at
- 10:17Speaker 1: somebody else, trying to figure out, Man, how can I
- 10:21Speaker 1: do what they did? Do what you do? You ain't
- 10:25Speaker 1: jay Z, You ain't sorry. I got a couple of
- 10:29Speaker 1: your homies told you you rap better than him, But
- 10:32Speaker 1: you're not jay Z. Really you're not. You know, all
- 10:35Speaker 1: of us can shot at him, but we ain't Richard
- 10:37Speaker 1: pryor a nice shot Steve Bernie Dear, all of who
- 10:42Speaker 1: took some great shots at it. We're not him. Do
- 10:46Speaker 1: what you can do. Do you do your gift quick
- 10:50Speaker 1: complaining about what you don't have. Get up off your
- 10:53Speaker 1: butt because you're sitting on a gold mine. You're listening
- 10:58Speaker 1: to show ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, people of
- 11:05Speaker 1: all nationalities, religions, faith, racist, y'all invited. Hill, this is
- 11:13Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show, non reminiscence of the White House.

- 11:26Speaker 1: That's right, Yeah, that's what I'm gonna started doing. I'm
- 11:28Speaker 1: gonna telling everybody from now and if you talk to me,
- 11:31Speaker 1: you ask getting omrosa. I'm just telling you right now,

- 12:04Speaker 1: and bought to watch that. I'm looking for different straps
- 12:08Speaker 1: for it. The guy sets us in the store for
- 12:11Speaker 1: twenty minutes, finds this trap, says you can go by tomorrow.
- 12:15Speaker 1: We get up, me and my boy Will. We're in
- 12:19Speaker 1: the car. We go to the big watch store. They
- 12:23Speaker 1: take us upstairs in the special room. We got champagne.
- 12:27Speaker 1: We're chilling. Everything good. We give him the information, the
- 12:32Speaker 1: number to the watch, the strap we're looking for, and
- 12:36Speaker 1: then found out you have reservations for this trap. Yes,
- 12:40Speaker 1: we have reservations for this trap. Reservation means somebody holding it,
- 12:44Speaker 1: all right. He come back twice getting some more information.
- 12:48Speaker 1: He come back and he says, I'm so sorry, but
- 12:52Speaker 1: Jean Pille I told him yesterday that we do not
- 12:56Speaker 1: have that color strap, Sir, I am so sorry, And
- 12:59Speaker 1: now you are sitting here in front of me. Excuse me,
- 13:04Speaker 1: I am going to make a phone call. He cust.

- 13:44Speaker 1: you black chucking play chucking play. I know that he
- 13:51Speaker 1: was saying, you do you hear me? Then the dude

- 13:59Speaker 1: I would like to offer you a temper cent discount
- 14:05Speaker 1: of anything in this story for the apologies of the

- 15:16Speaker 1: us out to dinner and Marjorie, they just give them
- 15:19Speaker 1: men well, they gave us all menus, but we put
- 15:21Speaker 1: them there. We don't need to look at them because

- 16:22Speaker 1: some red wine. It was it was really it was
- 16:25Speaker 1: so smooth and good. It was a little I got

- 16:51Speaker 1: I was yea Mississippi Monica, though I don't we're she
- 17:00Speaker 1: thinks she has. She don't know how to go nowhere

- 17:33Speaker 1: I mean, everything was just so good and in French,
- 17:38Speaker 1: not English dessert. Oh and the thing about it was
- 17:47Speaker 1: Steve can't talk because he's so hungry. He might say
- 17:51Speaker 1: the wrong thing somebody else. I've learned not to talk.
- 17:55Speaker 1: He doesn't talk. He just sits there until I get
- 17:58Speaker 1: some food and looks around. Then one because his food,
- 18:01Speaker 1: and we all let him eat first before we even touched. Yeah,
- 18:04Speaker 1: because we sat out and I said, what's wrong with you? Wait? Wait, wait,
- 18:07Speaker 1: wait first that adn't happened, Tommy. That's how we did
- 18:13Speaker 1: eat and they don't eat. That ain't true? Boy, No, everybody, no, no, no,
- 18:22Speaker 1: everything she was in But let you pick first off
- 18:26Speaker 1: the plate? Did you know they bring it wasn't like

- 19:25Speaker 1: How many? How many people? Was there? Bodyguard his wife
- 19:30Speaker 1: Mississippi Mom? Yeah, chocolate, molten cake, vanilla being nice? And
- 19:38Speaker 1: then the two drivers la Ron and said, okay, bodyguard
- 19:42Speaker 1: clearly his wife Donna have to hear the check and
- 19:47Speaker 1: separate checks right there. That's not Tommy, that's not nice,
- 19:52Speaker 1: tom They can't split it. We can't, Tommy. I ain't
- 19:59Speaker 1: going nowhere with you talking about little separate. If they
- 20:01Speaker 1: got some paper, they can split the check. What did
- 20:05Speaker 1: you try? That's missing inventory? Over here? That boy, boy,
- 20:08Speaker 1: I'm I'm doing that at this table, I got this,
- 20:11Speaker 1: When you get the next, they ain't working up at
- 20:14Speaker 1: that table. I was out with Samuel L. Jackson, Magic
- 20:21Speaker 1: and uh JP Palmer now that they all sitting in
- 20:26Speaker 1: Portofino or wives or other guests, and that to be okay,
- 20:30Speaker 1: JP said I got this one, you get the next.
- 20:34Speaker 1: And it worked out that way. Everybody you just mentioned
- 20:38Speaker 1: they can do that. You can't sit at that table.
- 20:41Speaker 1: You were sitting that last night, And did anybody say
- 20:44Speaker 1: I got the next? Did anybody say that? You know, um,
- 20:53Speaker 1: if that's it, that's the case. We just be telling lots.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Thank you, Tim. It was, but it was really nice
- 21:05Speaker 1: my chess. Yeah, you have to eat no people. Okay, okay,
- 21:16Speaker 1: let's okay. What about three downs? A little bit just
- 21:21Speaker 1: somewhere between three and four? Ok you got that? Yeah?
- 21:26Speaker 1: I got okay, Steve, thank you to you and Marjorie.
- 21:34Speaker 1: I would have been on the asking all the gratuity.
- 21:36Speaker 1: Who all right, coming up next is the King of Pranks?
- 21:41Speaker 1: Would run that prank back right after this you're listening
- 21:44Speaker 1: to show right now the nephew is here to make
- 21:49Speaker 1: us laugh with today's run that prank back? What you got,
- 21:52Speaker 1: King of pranks were on our way to church, Shirley,
- 21:55Speaker 1: we are going to Lorenzo, the choir director. Lorenzo direct
- 22:01Speaker 1: he's smarter than Hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach Lorenzo.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Lorenzo played speaking as calling Hi. This is uh. I'm Bernard.
- 22:12Speaker 1: I'm giving your call on behalf of Missionary Baptist Church
- 22:17Speaker 1: and uh doing a follow up. Actually you you've you've
- 22:20Speaker 1: been the choir director there right for what is it
- 22:26Speaker 1: close to six years now five and a half years, okay,
- 22:30Speaker 1: and for my understanding, you're doing a great job. Everyone
- 22:33Speaker 1: seems to love what you're doing on Sunday mornings, which
- 22:35Speaker 1: is definitely a blessing for the entire congregation. Right. So
- 22:40Speaker 1: what I was giving you a call on is there
- 22:42Speaker 1: seems to be a bit of discrepancy with some of
- 22:45Speaker 1: the antics that is going on when you are directing
- 22:49Speaker 1: the choir on Sunday mornings. Again. Now, no, no, come no,
- 22:54Speaker 1: come again you said antics? Well, some of the members?
- 22:57Speaker 1: Who are you? Once again? I said, my my name
- 23:00Speaker 1: is Bernard, and I'm actually calling on behind what's your
- 23:04Speaker 1: last thing, sir? I'm not I'm not actually a member
- 23:07Speaker 1: of uh huh, but I've been asked to give you
- 23:10Speaker 1: a call and and bring some things to your attention,
- 23:12Speaker 1: and and and deliver the news that the church would
- 23:15Speaker 1: like for you to have. Okay, what news is that? Well,
- 23:18Speaker 1: let me let me get back to what I was.
- 23:20Speaker 1: I was stating that some people in the congregation are
- 23:22Speaker 1: actually having a problem with your antics when you're directing
- 23:26Speaker 1: the quy uh different things that they're not happy with.
- 23:30Speaker 1: It is a sorrowful moment I should say for me
- 23:32Speaker 1: to have to come to you and tell you that
- 23:35Speaker 1: you know, as of today, with your Sunday, we're gonna
- 23:38Speaker 1: have to ask you to step down as the Minister
- 23:41Speaker 1: of Music harm. I want that maybe I'm not hearing
- 23:44Speaker 1: you correctly. You have a problem with the Holy Spirit
- 23:48Speaker 1: getting the whole of mere Well, it's not necessarily it's
- 23:53Speaker 1: not the Holy Spirit at all. If you can shot
- 23:55Speaker 1: all day, that has nothing to do with it. I guess,
- 23:57Speaker 1: just different antics that you have. You know that imregation
- 24:00Speaker 1: is just not I need you to be a little
- 24:02Speaker 1: more clear on what you're saying antics. Please tell me
- 24:07Speaker 1: what you're saying. So is it that my has too long?
- 24:11Speaker 1: Is it that I look too cute when I'm in
- 24:13Speaker 1: the quad? What? What is it? So I'm not I
- 24:16Speaker 1: don't want to hear it be that. I want to
- 24:17Speaker 1: go take attack with you. Like I said, I'm not
- 24:19Speaker 1: a member. I want you to say it. Please say it.
- 24:23Speaker 1: You name they fired me, they fired me today. I
- 24:27Speaker 1: want you to say it. And I want to know
- 24:29Speaker 1: if the path to hide me, why didn't he fire me? Well,
- 24:34Speaker 1: you know it's it's it's kind of like a business,
- 24:36Speaker 1: you know, it's it's um. The higher ups, uh really
- 24:40Speaker 1: really keep their hands cleaning on these type of things.
- 24:42Speaker 1: And there's always someone that has to deliver the message,
- 24:44Speaker 1: you know. And I'm and I and you know what,
- 24:47Speaker 1: and I understand that, but I want you to explain
- 24:50Speaker 1: to me what antics Please tell me, Please tell me.
- 24:54Speaker 1: So I'm not listen. I'm not gonna say no no, no, no, no,
- 24:57Speaker 1: no no no no. You called to deliver the news.
- 25:01Speaker 1: I need to know what answer. Okay? Are you wearing
- 25:04Speaker 1: different hand styles every other Sunday? Is? Is? Is your
- 25:09Speaker 1: hair just completely different? And to the dam? BUTI shop
- 25:13Speaker 1: everything any morning. I want to look to you just
- 25:15Speaker 1: like everybody else want to look cute on Satdy morning?
- 25:18Speaker 1: Right right? A problem with that, sir? Like I said,
- 25:21Speaker 1: I'm just a message. I don't have a problem with
- 25:23Speaker 1: what you know. You're doing well? Who have problem with? Evidently? People?
- 25:27Speaker 1: At them? Helpful it now that I'm looking better than
- 25:30Speaker 1: m Okay, let let me go ahead and ask you
- 25:33Speaker 1: something else. Are you wearing blue contact lenses? I had
- 25:38Speaker 1: on greater day? My day, I'm super was great. So
- 25:40Speaker 1: I had on great tonight. When I was going back
- 25:43Speaker 1: for the music, I was gonna have my own green.

- 26:13Speaker 1: me about my count at you asking me upout my half, right,
- 26:16Speaker 1: But I didn't ask you about anything else. So, Lorenzo, well,
- 26:20Speaker 1: I just want you to get to the point, please, sir, please,
- 26:24Speaker 1: So what are you representing the church or what if
- 26:27Speaker 1: you didn't department? I don't understand. I actually speak on
- 26:30Speaker 1: behalf of past. Okay, well, I tell you what you
- 26:34Speaker 1: tell be called me himself because I'm gonna show up
- 26:36Speaker 1: at the musical tonight and I'm gonna have my green
- 26:39Speaker 1: contact on with my green So Lorenzo, I'm asking you
- 26:42Speaker 1: now not to show up for the actual musical tonight.
- 26:45Speaker 1: I'm walkingna happen. You definitely won't be what's going happen
- 26:49Speaker 1: for showing up? Y'all gonna put me at We can't
- 26:51Speaker 1: put you out of the lord towns, but what we

- 27:07Speaker 1: I don't have all day. I'm passing on the message
- 27:11Speaker 1: and that's clear. I'm just letting you understand that your
- 27:13Speaker 1: your job is completely terminated at this point. Is that understood.

- 27:30Speaker 1: this is what becase all about. It's about your antics.
- 27:34Speaker 1: That's my answers. This is what the congregation is talking about. You.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Did you just hear what you're saying? You talk to me?

- 28:10Speaker 1: you listening? I'm listening. This is Nephew tom Me from
- 28:14Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just got pranked by

- 29:00Speaker 1: ain't your tom before you add that's what you need
- 29:04Speaker 1: to do. Okay, Man, I got one more question for you.
- 29:07Speaker 1: What is man? What is the baddest I'm talking about
- 29:10Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the land, the Steve hard
- 29:16Speaker 1: Every morning you're listening to the Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 29:23Speaker 1: Coming up in twenty minutes. We're gonna see Uncle Steve
- 29:27Speaker 1: is smarter than nephew Tommy today today. This is not
- 29:33Speaker 1: going away, Tommy, I ain't sharp up today today. You're
- 29:41Speaker 1: not shocked. It's an announcement when I say breaking news
- 29:49Speaker 1: like well, it is time for today's entertainment news. Stevie
- 29:53Speaker 1: Wonder just visited Aretha Franklin so as a reverend Jesse Jackson.
- 29:57Speaker 1: This is according to US Weekly. They are among the
- 30:00Speaker 1: longtime friends who have spent time with the Queen of
- 30:02Speaker 1: Soul at her home in Detroit. Also, Miss Franklin's nephew
- 30:06Speaker 1: Tim Franklin tells People magazine that she's alert, she's laughing,
- 30:11Speaker 1: she's teasing, and she is able to recognize people. That
- 30:15Speaker 1: is very inscruging news. Yeah, that's good. The family is
- 30:18Speaker 1: there with her. She's home, although she is seriously ill.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Tim Franklin says, the family is trying to keep her
- 30:24Speaker 1: spirits up and go from there. Keep your prayers going
- 30:28Speaker 1: us keep pars. Yeah, and a related news and read,
- 30:32Speaker 1: the Franklin tribute show is being planned for New York
- 30:35Speaker 1: this fall. Uh. Clive Davis, of course, who helped revive
- 30:39Speaker 1: the Queen of Soul's career back in the eighties when
- 30:41Speaker 1: he signed her on to his AIRSTA label has helped
- 30:44Speaker 1: produce all of Franklin's releases ever since, is overseeing the concert.
- 30:50Speaker 1: And so we got to look out for that this fall. Yes,
- 30:53Speaker 1: it's about time, so deserving um for the Queen of
- 30:57Speaker 1: Soul and other entertainment news. Serena Williams as teamed up
- 31:02Speaker 1: with Nike on a line of high end athletic wear.
- 31:05Speaker 1: I love that it's called the Queen Collection. It will
- 31:09Speaker 1: debut at the US Open later this month, and it
- 31:12Speaker 1: will include a tennis dress with a little too too
- 31:15Speaker 1: like skirt in both black and white. Yeah, why is that,
- 31:21Speaker 1: Steve is, Yes, it's gonna have a bag with it
- 31:32Speaker 1: as well, along with the black and white too to
- 31:35Speaker 1: a jacket and three pairs of sneakers. So we got
- 31:38Speaker 1: a sick Congratulations to Serena. Yeah, and she's been going
- 31:41Speaker 1: through she's coming back now, she's coming back now. She's
- 31:43Speaker 1: been doing good though. Yeah, I mean with the postpartum
- 31:47Speaker 1: and everything after she had her baby, you know, and
- 31:49Speaker 1: that was bigger of her to come out to let
- 31:51Speaker 1: people know what was going on with her. Yeah, because
- 31:54Speaker 1: she can help a lot of people, a lot of women.
- 31:57Speaker 1: We'll postpartum, you know, after you have a baby depressed. Yeah,
- 32:00Speaker 1: you got depressed and stuff. But I think, well, you
- 32:03Speaker 1: don't know because you've never had a right that's what
- 32:06Speaker 1: you see me. But women you you made know women
- 32:09Speaker 1: who had babies and have been depressed afterwards. The baby seventeen,
- 32:14Speaker 1: did you guys have surely call it? Did you have
- 32:16Speaker 1: post Yeah? I didn't. I didn't have it. It was
- 32:18Speaker 1: so bad at my house. I took the post model
- 32:21Speaker 1: post part stop. He's asking, and I don't know anything
- 32:28Speaker 1: about it. It's just the depression of real letter that
- 32:32Speaker 1: you feel after they had a baby, and you know
- 32:35Speaker 1: what it feels. You know, I don't know. I don't
- 32:36Speaker 1: know about let down having a baby. I know let
- 32:38Speaker 1: down after you marry. Somebody had that post part it
- 32:43Speaker 1: was let down after you stole all my money. That
- 32:49Speaker 1: everything to talking about you, sir. And we were talking
- 32:52Speaker 1: about Serena and how she is helping women and mothers,
- 32:57Speaker 1: helping me to all benefitted post Paul. I've been trying
- 33:03Speaker 1: to figure out what she's working through it. Steve, anyway,
- 33:09Speaker 1: it is time in court. All right, we're moving on now, sir.
- 33:15Speaker 1: It's time to introduce miss and get our headlines. Okay,
- 33:18Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, miss, and this is entered with the news. Well,
- 33:24Speaker 1: our President Trump has taken the highly unusual step of
- 33:28Speaker 1: revoking the security clearance of former CIA director John Brennan.
- 33:31Speaker 1: Since stepping down as CIA director last year, Brennan has
- 33:34Speaker 1: tweeted just fifty one times. However, many have been pointed
- 33:37Speaker 1: attacks on the president again like he was CIA director
- 33:40Speaker 1: under this president. He's gone, and he's been tweeting. The
- 33:43Speaker 1: one he sent Tuesday says, for instance, it's astounding how
- 33:46Speaker 1: often you failed to live up to minimum standards of
- 33:49Speaker 1: decency unquote. That's what he tweeted to the president. Anyway,
- 33:52Speaker 1: that's why White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders says Trump
- 33:55Speaker 1: did what he did. At this point in my administration,
- 33:58Speaker 1: any benefits that senior officials might glean from consultations with
- 34:01Speaker 1: Mr Brennan are now outweighed by their risks posed by
- 34:05Speaker 1: his erratic conduct and behavior. Now, of course, she's reading
- 34:08Speaker 1: a statement from the President. Former top officials have lost
- 34:11Speaker 1: their security clearances in the past when they violated regulations,
- 34:14Speaker 1: but never for criticizing the president, and the President says
- 34:17Speaker 1: that as part of this review, he's evaluating actions with
- 34:20Speaker 1: respect to some other form of government higher ups, including
- 34:23Speaker 1: former FBI Director James Comey, former US Ambassador to the
- 34:27Speaker 1: u N Susan Rice, just fired FBI agent Peter Struck,
- 34:30Speaker 1: and some others. And everybody on that list has either
- 34:33Speaker 1: criticized him or been criticized by President Trump. The man
- 34:37Speaker 1: who prosecuted say destroy Donal Trump Starr in the Hollywood
- 34:39Speaker 1: Walk of Fame last month led not guilty in court yesterday,
- 34:42Speaker 1: twenty four year old Clay Austin charged with felony vandalism.
- 34:45Speaker 1: Austin's accused of destroying the honorary star with a pick
- 34:47Speaker 1: act July twenty leaving a hole in the cement. He
- 34:50Speaker 1: turned himself in. He says, I don't think I should
- 34:52Speaker 1: be charged with the crime because what I did was
- 34:54Speaker 1: about positive political change. Anyway. Back in twenty sixteen, another guy,
- 34:58Speaker 1: fifty three year old James Lambert oh Us, also took
- 35:00Speaker 1: a pickaxe to Trump's Hollywood Star. He pled no contest
- 35:03Speaker 1: to one count of felony vandalism. The man who murdered
- 35:07Speaker 1: John Lennon up for parole again today, this with the
- 35:10Speaker 1: next week actually Mark David Chapman scheduled to go before
- 35:13Speaker 1: the parole Board and Bill by Chapman's tenth try for release.
- 35:16Speaker 1: Aretha Franklin said to be in serious condition, still ill health,
- 35:19Speaker 1: although no one has divulged exactly what the Queen of
- 35:22Speaker 1: Soul is stricken with the words A couple of years
- 35:24Speaker 1: ago she had pancreatic cancer. Jet magazine reports said in fact,
- 35:28Speaker 1: it is cancer, but that has never been confirmed. The
- 35:30Speaker 1: family is still asking for prayers, and ministers are not
- 35:33Speaker 1: just in Detroit but elsewhere doing just that specific reach
- 35:38Speaker 1: for one particular person. The Queen of Soul stod if
- 35:47Speaker 1: anybody's able, and yes there are prayers everywhere. Timz says
- 35:52Speaker 1: the seventy six shold Grammy Award winning singers family was
- 35:55Speaker 1: told two weeks ago that she could go at any time.
- 35:57Speaker 1: She only weighs around eighty five pounds on a much
- 35:59Speaker 1: lighter know. Today is National telejoke Day. So how about
- 36:02Speaker 1: some vintage Rodgie Rodney Dangerfield If you don't go for
- 36:05Speaker 1: me either, I'm not a good looking guy. Halloween, I
- 36:08Speaker 1: opened the front door. Kids, give me candy? Can I know?
- 36:14Speaker 1: I do? Find out we look alike? He killed himself.
- 36:18Speaker 1: Ear's up. Steve Harvey Nation the crews live today in Paris.
- 36:21Speaker 1: Let's find out if Uncle Steve is smart than his nephew.

- 37:25Speaker 1: Absolutely nothing, nothing. We're gonna switch it around this time, Steve. Alright,

- 42:56Speaker 1: the world's largest ocean, Pacific Ocean? Fifty cent? Was once
- 43:02Speaker 1: a rapper in which rap group? Gun? Did you do

- 51:42Speaker 1: to the penitentiary. And then we're in Dallas. Do you
- 51:45Speaker 1: know how long it would take to get pizza to Angola?
- 51:49Speaker 1: Let me tell, okay, who the manager there? I am
- 51:52Speaker 1: the managers speaking with the manager. What's your name? Never
- 51:55Speaker 1: mind what my name is, just know that I'm the manager. Okay.
- 51:58Speaker 1: Let me say this to you, since you to manage
- 52:01Speaker 1: you there. If I don't get no pizzas here tonight,
- 52:03Speaker 1: I'm when I get out in three years, I'm coming
- 52:06Speaker 1: down there and I'm gonna you up. You think you're
- 52:09Speaker 1: talking to you? Ain't go me up. In three years,
- 52:12Speaker 1: I won't be here. But a matter fact, I just
- 52:14Speaker 1: might stay here for three years. So when you come back,
- 52:17Speaker 1: let me tell you something. If y'all don't brainy piece
- 52:19Speaker 1: to this penitential and get it to the guard before
- 52:21Speaker 1: he get off work, then were it's gonna be around

- 52:48Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. I want you to remember
- 52:50Speaker 1: the number threefold to dad six eight nine. If you
- 52:53Speaker 1: see that great painted on your house or that damn

- 52:59Speaker 1: I'm looking for your three dad, six eight nine. I
- 53:03Speaker 1: don't give it about three two six eight nine and

- 53:49Speaker 1: It is today's Strawberry Letter. I don't believe what she
- 53:52Speaker 1: believes that you're listening. I see this back from vacation,
- 53:59Speaker 1: his first week back. We've been having a great time
- 54:02Speaker 1: in Paris, and uh, it is time for today's Strawberry Letter.
- 54:06Speaker 1: If you need some advice on relationships, on dating, on work,
- 54:09Speaker 1: on sex, on parenting, and more, submit your Strawberry letter
- 54:13Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey f M dot com and simply click
- 54:16Speaker 1: submit Strawberry Letter. We could be reading your letter on
- 54:19Speaker 1: the air today Live like we're gonna do this one
- 54:22Speaker 1: write Steve just like this here, man, I'm so excited
- 54:28Speaker 1: about these letters. Wow, that that was really convincing. Yeah,
- 54:35Speaker 1: pull up, you know, not so sincere with the oscar. Yeah,
- 54:39Speaker 1: with your best lead in the drama. L alright, um, alright, nephew,
- 54:50Speaker 1: let's go buckle up, hold on tight. We got it
- 54:54Speaker 1: for you. Here. It is the Strawberry Letter, subject, I
- 54:57Speaker 1: don't believe what she believes in Dear Stephen, Shirley. I
- 55:01Speaker 1: am a thirty two year old Hispanic man and I
- 55:04Speaker 1: am dating the most amazing woman. I am ready to
- 55:08Speaker 1: share the rest of my life with her. She is
- 55:10Speaker 1: a beautiful, loving, honest, strong Black female, and our chemistry
- 55:16Speaker 1: is undeniable. So here's my problem. She is a Christian
- 55:20Speaker 1: and I am an atheist slash nonbeliever. We've made our relationship.
- 55:27Speaker 1: We've made our relationship work so far. Yeah, she's a
- 55:31Speaker 1: strong black female and their chemistry is undeniable. He says,
- 55:36Speaker 1: here's a problem. She's a Christian and I am an
- 55:38Speaker 1: atheist nonbeliever. We've made our relationship work so far, and
- 55:42Speaker 1: we respect each other's views. But I can't help but
- 55:45Speaker 1: wonder if and how this would affect our future. I'm
- 55:49Speaker 1: also sure that side that side of her family is
- 55:53Speaker 1: not too keen on me being a nonbeliever, but I
- 55:55Speaker 1: don't think they should play a pivotal role in her
- 55:58Speaker 1: decision making. She's an amazing woman and I don't want
- 56:02Speaker 1: to lose her over this. Do you think our relationship
- 56:05Speaker 1: can survive this? Please give me your honest advice. Well, no,
- 56:09Speaker 1: is my honest advice to um to your question? Do
- 56:13Speaker 1: you think our relationship can survive this. And and I
- 56:15Speaker 1: say that because as a Christian, your faith and what
- 56:19Speaker 1: you believe in, your belief in God and Jesus dying
- 56:23Speaker 1: and rising on that third day, that is pretty much
- 56:25Speaker 1: the life blood of our very existence as Christians. I mean, so,
- 56:30Speaker 1: if you're a practicing Christian and you believe that the
- 56:33Speaker 1: Bible is God's word and and so on and so
- 56:36Speaker 1: on the beliefs, you know, you're a follower of Christ.
- 56:39Speaker 1: It is hard for me to even believe that she's
- 56:42Speaker 1: in a relationship with an atheist nonbeliever because it goes
- 56:46Speaker 1: goes against everything. Like I said, that is her life blood,
- 56:51Speaker 1: what she believes in. So maybe she's not a practicing Christian.
- 56:55Speaker 1: Maybe she um, you know, sometimes people backslide. Maybe she's
- 56:58Speaker 1: on the fence or something like that. But as far
- 57:01Speaker 1: as this is going to affect your future, if she's
- 57:03Speaker 1: like she is now, it sounds like you guys are
- 57:06Speaker 1: working it out. But if she starts to she doesn't
- 57:10Speaker 1: sound like a Christian to me, and I'm just gonna
- 57:13Speaker 1: she doesn't. She doesn't sound like that because she's in
- 57:15Speaker 1: a relationship with an atheist nonbeliever. Yeah, it's just hard,
- 57:20Speaker 1: you know, if you're a Christian and a believer to
- 57:22Speaker 1: be in a relationship like that. So, um, I don't
- 57:26Speaker 1: get it. I don't understand this relationship. I don't even
- 57:29Speaker 1: see how it's worked up until this point. And as
- 57:32Speaker 1: far as the future, you know, how are you going
- 57:34Speaker 1: to raise your kids things like that? I mean, I'm
- 57:36Speaker 1: sure there are people out there that do it every
- 57:38Speaker 1: single day. I just don't see how this is gonna work.
- 57:42Speaker 1: That is my honest opinion as far as this is concerned,
- 57:45Speaker 1: I'm surprised that it's gone this far actually between a
- 57:48Speaker 1: Christian and a nonbeliever, because that is our very lifeblood
- 57:52Speaker 1: of our existence, our belief in God. All right, so
- 57:55Speaker 1: um listen, uh, good luck as Chris and we don't
- 58:00Speaker 1: even believe in luck see there. But you know, I
- 58:04Speaker 1: don't know. I don't know how this is gonna work.
- 58:06Speaker 1: And again, I'm really, really, really surprised that it's worked
- 58:10Speaker 1: this far. And you see that her family is not
- 58:12Speaker 1: having it. You put that in the letter. Uh, they
- 58:14Speaker 1: sound like real Christians and real Christians that's how you
- 58:18Speaker 1: can exist, coexist in the world. But as far as
- 58:21Speaker 1: our loving relationship, it's extremely hard because when there's problems
- 58:25Speaker 1: and there's always gonna be problems. Who do you turn to? Who? Who?
- 58:28Speaker 1: Who are you praying? Are you? Are you trying to
- 58:30Speaker 1: get help? Do you want? You know? Who are you
- 58:32Speaker 1: praying to? Steve? To whom are you praying? Okay, well, listen,
- 58:36Speaker 1: here a what Shirley saying. It's one thousand percent correct.
- 58:41Speaker 1: She's coming from the standpoint of a Christian. She's coming
- 58:44Speaker 1: from the standpoint of biblical biblical theology. She's coming from
- 58:48Speaker 1: the standpoint of being equally yoked. She studied this shrilege Christian.
- 58:53Speaker 1: I'm notin tough to you, like the Christian portion of
- 58:57Speaker 1: the show is over. We've this is hood talk. Now.
- 59:03Speaker 1: Since you're thirty two year old Hispanic man and you're
- 59:07Speaker 1: talking to damn near sixty two year old black man,
- 59:12Speaker 1: let's just have this damn conversation the way you need
- 59:16Speaker 1: to hear. All Right, you're ready, here we go. I
- 59:21Speaker 1: met this most amazing woman. I'm ready to share the
- 59:25Speaker 1: rest of my life with her. She's a beautiful, loving, honest,
- 59:29Speaker 1: strong black female, and our chemistry is undenied. So here's
- 59:35Speaker 1: my problem. She is a Christian and I am an
- 59:39Speaker 1: atheist slash nonbelieval. What is that he doesn't believe. Don't believe?
- 59:47Speaker 1: What in God? Okay? Cool? Now, before y'all start tweeting
- 59:53Speaker 1: me and all this here. I don't do atheism, never have,
- 59:58Speaker 1: don't promote it. Do I knock it? Yes, because I'm
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: a promoter of people of faith. You can be a Muslim,
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: you could be Jewish, you could be Cathy, you could
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: be a Witness, you could be just a Christian. You
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: can be whatever you want to be long as you've
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: got some form of faith. How you exist with no
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: faith at all is beyond me. So side pimp, you
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: don't call the wrong show something wrong with you and
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: any other atheists who listening. So if you're gonna start tweeting,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: take his show, I don't want to sponsor him no more.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: Most people with companies know the Lord. You ain't gonna
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: get me put off the air because I don't promote
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: atheist So you can gonna save you little damn protesting
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: because at nine of y'all can sign this petition. They're
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: not gonna take me off or now sick. Now, let
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: me tell you this right here. You were not born
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: an atheists. You are taught this. There is something in
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: Nate in the human nature that makes you know deep
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: in your soul there is a higher power. We all
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: feel this some kind of way. So you were taught
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: this by some other nonbelievers, that you are an atheist
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: and there is no God. There is no God. How
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: can you say that? Let me ask you a question.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: All right, hang on, Steve, now get back to the hood.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: The little Christian came out here. I'm putting him back
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: up to testify. Get the hood back out, all right. Listen,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: We're gonna have part two of Steve's response coming up
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: at twenty three after the hour. The subject of my
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: letter today is I don't believe what she believes in.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: We'll be back at after right after this. You're listening
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: Steve Hard Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve, let's
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: recap today. Recap this man thirty two. He's an atheist.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: He'd met this amazingly wonderful black woman who is a
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: believer heat tripping they're talking about. She's beautiful, love and
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: honest in the chemistry. Here's our problem. She's a Christian.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: I'm an atheist, nonbeliever. We made our relationship work so far.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: We respect each other's views. But I can't help but
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: wonder how this will affect our future. Bro, you already
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: know something wrong. You already and know something wrong. Why
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: are you righting me? Because you know something is wrong
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: with this? This beautiful? Can our relationship survive this? That's
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: at the end. Do you think our relationship can stop?
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: Can survive this? Please give me your honest advice. I'm
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: gonna give you honest advice about that. And you wrote
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: in because you're wondering how this is gonna work in
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: the long run. This cannot work unless you are making
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: this a godless relationship. This cannot work unless she is
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: on board with you of making this a godless relationship,
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: and then that ain't gonna work. So now where we're at,
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: you're the godless relationship that ain't gonna work. She believe
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: in God. You don't you think it's gonna be a problem,
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: because you already know it's a problem. This wonderful relationship
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: with y'all sitting up saying grace over food you just eat,
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: you just started in you to buy your hair or
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: nothing right here? She's not practice y'all driving in the card,
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: your cargo off the cliffs. She holland for Jesus, you
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: know you ain't got nothing you can say. You can't
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: help you just what what you holly see all this here?
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: I'm telling you man, now this can't work. Bro. Now listen,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: let me explain some too. And then you said, I'm
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: not also sure that her side of the family is
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: not too keen on me being a nonbeliever. I don't
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: think they should play a pivotal role in this decision making.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: Right here, let me tell you something about like Mexican,
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: whatever you is, you ought to notice too, because Latino
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: families is just like black family you know. Good in
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: here where they got something to do with this damn
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: decisions in there and tell her that you don't believe
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: in no God. You ain't gotta say to the real card.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: You ain't set up in here. You ain't got no rosaries,
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: you ain't got nothing. You just up in here. You
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: just know Spanish. Every Latino. I know, I got some
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: type of band and they like single Latino. I know
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: you took your Hispanic at something here, tell about I'm
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: a nonbeliever. I ain't never met drug dealers. Got you
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: got monuments when you're breaking their house on for the
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: eight hours they got the saint to something. The blessing drug.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: Pablo Escobar had a relationship with saints and got Pablo
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: Escobar procaine something in there. That's probably why you broke,
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: because you ain't got no at least drug dealers got
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: a relationship with some type of saint or something, the mafia,
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: the mafia, Golden Church. Right then you killed while they're
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: in church, you know about a long talking about you
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: don't believe it no God, and you fen tell us
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: to some old black people they find to put your
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: hands out becaus soon as you come up to the
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: house for Thanksgiving and they say, let us pray, everybody's
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: gonna be looking at you. I bet you bet you
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: buy your head. Did because you ain't gonna take this
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: pressure right here, your mom can lesson house and your
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: answer by your haird fluck all type of all type
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: of wrong Thanksgiving. Let us buy a head. You're gonna
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: have a hundred sets of eyeballs looking at you. I know,
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: problem ain't finishing. Then you don't think they should play
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: a pivotal role in decision making. Boy, Latino families are
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: just like black families. You know. Good in here where
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: they're gonna play a rolling She's an amazing woman, and
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: I don't want to lose her over this. Then don't
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: lose her over this. See, let me explain something to you.
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: You're gonna lose her because of your beliefs, but she's
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: an amazing woman because of her beliefs. Do you understand
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: that your belief is the total cause and the fact
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: of your outcome of your life. So now your belief
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: you're going to lose something you think you would cherish
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: because of your beliefs. Hold on, don't want to become on,
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: to get on the pedestal or nothing. But why don't
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: you just become a believeral Come tell you right now,
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: if you go to black people house, you don't print.
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: I'm just gonna let you know, Julio, listen me just
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: go go bad, go go over no black people. Because
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: the next major holiday, yes Thanksgiving? No, no, no, no,
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: what's coming up in late September the first Monday, my mom, okay,
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: Labor Days coming to let me warn you something. One
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: Listen to me. Barbecue. Listen to me, it's gonna be
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: some barbecue and going on on the second and third
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: that whole weekie, we're gonna be down and saying that.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: So but it's gonna be some barbecue and going on
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: when you go over there, deal with it at the
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: barbecue because you're gonna get your ask with that barb
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: because they're gonna be outside, and blacks is more apt
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: to fight outdoors than at Thanksgiving because we usually level
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: big Mama. How can fighting Mama? You go over there
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: to the Bobbie que where they're drinking beering stuff and
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: they're playing cards, and you bring dominoes and you bring
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: up the fact that you don't believe in the Lord.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: Probably gonna get your ask clip at that. Yeah. Now,
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: the next big holiday is Thanksgiving, so you want to
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: get become a believer before that, learned some type of
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: prayer before that? What about Hallowewen Halloween? Black people don't number?
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: How you can come? You can come over to the
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: house after Devil. We don't get it. Get your self
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: some candy we drunk with all un came after Devil.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: I see you. That's all it. But I'm telling you
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: right now, man just ain't fitting to work her Grandmama
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: and hil can shrill. You ought to just become a believer.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: Go and see what has made this woman so amazing
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: and unbelievable. It's because of what she believed you might
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: competter yourself with your broad cast, because I already know
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: you ain't got no money. I see. We got to
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: get out of here. Love Dealers prayed to the Lord.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: I wish I could think of that saint that being
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: on the Dope Boys Instagram. That's your thoughts on today's
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: that Steve Harvey FM dot com. And while you're there,
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: check out our parents vacation pictures coming up in about
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: ten minutes. Our girl from The Talk, Cheryl Underwood. Right
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: all right. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: Carla is here with her reality update. We are still here.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: We are still praying for the Queen of Soul. Please
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: go to all social media at Steve Harvey dot com
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: to post your prayers, your love and support messages to
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: the Queen of Soul, the one and only Aretha Franklin.
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: We love you, you are our queen and we love you.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: All right, Steve, she's here. Please introduce our girl from
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: the Talk ladies and gentlemen, Chierill. Thank you, Steve Harvey,
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: and I'm glad y'all mention Aretha Franklin because every song
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: that she had made connect to somebody else, like Olma
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: Rosa right recorded people in the White House to love.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: What's the magician boy depending teller, the one that talked,
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: not the one that don't talk. So he was in
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: the room when it happened. Everybody knows what's going on,
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: and I didn't know there was two black women working
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: in the White House, Alma Rosa and another lady. We're
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: talking about what they're gonna do about the tape if
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: it possibly happened, so the tape might exist. I know
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: you think, a well, how are you going to connect
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: this to a Wreatha Franklin? Because I like to dedicate
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: this the Olmar Rosa. What a friend we have in Jesus,
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: because you ain't got no friends up in the White
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: House norball because you take everybody and you didn't you
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: good White House time? How to see you that see
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: how I brought it together? How to bring it together?
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: That's right, that's right, I brought it together. See. And
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: then what I want to dedicate to everybody that's just
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: trying to live that life and march forward is how
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: I got over that's a good song. That's good. How
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: I got my son looks back in wonder how I
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: got over you? And then every man that I know,
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: I'm seeing a little forever for you. And in that
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: I kicked it with go ahead, doctor feel good. See
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: if they're saying, oh to read the frankling, I don't
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: want to know. That's right, y'all understand we love Areatha Frankly.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: I remember when she came on the Talk. When she
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: came on the Talk, we was in New York and
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: we were singing background and Sherlan called, I swept for Lord.
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: I was wearing a dress that I shouldn't have been wearing.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: I looked like, you know that canister of biscuits that
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: accidentally pop opens, And that's how I look in my
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: little bandy girl. Not for real, I look like, No,
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: that looked like the biscuits that popped over accidentally, so
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: now you got to cook them and got that hard
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: side that don't rise up. So that's how little weird
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: sing your background for wreathing. No, that's how I look.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: And she was just so nice to me. And then
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: when I shouted her out because I said, you know,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: they were talking about Beyonce being the queen. I said,
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: only queen I know is a wreathing frankly because I'm
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: old school and a Wreatha sent us flywers and she
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: came on the show again and she sank and just
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: a beautiful person, just a beautiful she she is. She's
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: a beautiful person and just love. Did you know she's
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: from me? I did you know that Junior? They went
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: to Detroit. Let me tell you what I love about her.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: That she was engaged to Dennis Edward. Listen to me,
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: don't look any further back, you better talk. You know
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: he has a rolling stone. They was engaged to eat something.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: Realla never had a chance to see. That's my second thing.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: He no bad things about him? Horrible? Oh why are
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: we talking about something? What's your view on? What's that girl? Hustle? Hard?
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: That girl hustle heard? But see listen. If she was
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: more credible to us, people would take this a little
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: more seriously. But because she recorded everybody when she should
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: have record. Listen to me, all black people are now
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: going to do an Alma rosa when we get to
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: be walked out our jobs, So you better risk because
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: we go That girl had to take did you have
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: a lot of thigh? What is you having a broad
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: zer of? How? And the tape was clear she got
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: them talking smack about her. Oh speaks talking smack. I
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: will be at the stardom in in Birmingham Hoover, Alabama.
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: So hear me clearly. I need you out of body
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: these tickets because I'm trying to get ready for saying this.
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: So I'm trying to find white linen for saying this
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: so and you cannot find pure white linen so I
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: can look good at saying it so and I will
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: also be a saving go online to the store called
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: one Capri one hundred percent Capri. What size they got
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: a store in l A. But what what so? What
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: size of No? No, no, no no, they go very
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: very big even in Caprice store from capric that looking
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: up see if okay, I'm gonna look at the store
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: in the States to Live. I'm I'm gonna do they
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: have elastic waste? I did last I need to listen
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: to me dying pieces if you want to, I'm more
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: like a bottom catch up or something. Listen to me.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: I need to a lasting weights and then have the
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: top fit because I'm renting two sizes. I'm three sizes.
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: I'm the top at the bottom, and then I'm the
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: top at the bottom top, and I'm three sizes. Really,
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: I'm sure why, but I'm telling to listen women, No,
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: you can't just order to live it because you might
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: be like I tried on some petite pants and was flood.
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: Now the youngest do not know where flood is. And
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: I thought I was particular ill fired too. You can't
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: wear petite all the time. I'm really five three and
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: that onion suck up the pants, so I can't wear
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: pete then. But I'm I got bosom, Praise the Lord
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: bosom that I didn't have to pay for. This is
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: all comb bread and greens right here. I didn't pay
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: for this. This is this is soul full bosom. So
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: I gotta wear a large the top because I got
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: a bosom. But I got no shoulder. My shoulder rolled over.
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: That's yes, I just looked it up online. Bell Harbor shops,
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: bell In So I had to get off the shops, right.

- 1:15:21Speaker 1: me up something and bring I'm I'm like a sixteen.
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: I'm a sixteen sort of a fourteen. Just something good.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: Oh and if you got anybody there, I need my
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: brave girl to time because when my head grow out,
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: I got two pieces of hair in the braid in
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: his day when and I don't want to be kicking
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: it and swimming. No, it's gonna be too hot and
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna sweat. I'm gonna be sweating like Charlie Wilson.
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: So I can't So can we need be singing for
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: a real live at me. I'm ready for saying. So
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: I just gotta get myself again. But Steve and y'all,
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: y'all travel savoring French, all the French people because saying French,
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: all the French people love us. Talk today Prime Minister
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: don't mention Trump because he don't like him. And it
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: wasn't It was a vote against Hillary Clinton, That's really
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: what it was. And we went to the polls. We
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: gotta get out of it, and Hillary say we didn't
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: do this. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: Carlin's Reality Update. Right after this, you're listening to the
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: Steve Hard Morning show. All right, tell me it's on.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: You introduced a girl, Kyla, know what it is. It's
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: that time Carlin's reality update. All right, thank you, nephew. Okay, Steve,
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: you remember last season we used to do the updates
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: on Power. So we've been watching it all summer long.
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: I ain't seen it, Okay, So here we go. Now,
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: this past Sunday night, Tasha was desperate and she asked
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: her boyfriend slash attorney Silver Terry Silver, to help her
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: protect her son Tyrek for killing Ray Ray. Did you
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: know that ain't gonna have no your your loving ain't
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: that good? Now, I'm gonna get this barred because you're
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: passing out a little bit of tail and now you're
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: born and killed this thing. You think I'm finn save him.
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna go through the motions, but there's nothing in
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: the judicial system, and gonna say this boy, he gonna
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: go through the motion just for the trim, but he
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: ain't finna do it. What So he's just gonna tell
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: her that he's gonna do Yeah, but what are you
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: gonna do now? He can't make no more money. That's
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: why you want him in the first place, because you
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: got money. Man can't lose his money just so y'all
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: can stay friends. I think my next statement, okay, was
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: that even Ghost went to Silver and threatened him and
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: told him he had to help Tasha Tosh you ghost
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: to Silver's apartment. Guess what sex she did? And then
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: guess what happened after that said they're gonna kill all that.
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: Terry did exactly what you just said. He left always
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: Partner department. That's right. He didn't want to live that life.
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: He was not about that life, being a criminal covering
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: up obstruction. I can't get this bard messing around with
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: you and boy over here killing people want to be free.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: Would he have done it if Ghosts hadn't gone, You
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: think he would have still done it? Huh No, No, No,
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: Ghost was just to push you over the edge. He
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: already wasn't cool with that. Man can't throw his livelihood away.
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: Silver was not about that life. Ignorant boy, you haven't
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: seen this song. It's didn't want should do, says the
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: Slimmers players. If Ghosts were sitting in that corner, I
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: wouldn't know that you would relax by our reaction. I
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: would him the actor, But yeah, that's who, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: the best, did it? Yeah, continuing, here we go, Angela.
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: I think she's really skating on thin ice. She's turned
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: it into a criminal Angela. Don't you think I'm back? Yes? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: So she has to be careful though, because Proctor is
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: trying to figure some things out. And then Angela is
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: very smart though, she's got a monk on her side. Now. Yeah,
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: she told Mark that she has some information about getting
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: him transferred out of New York to d See. And
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: so now Marc is gonna probably tell Angela everything he knows,
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: because you know, they're trying to shut her down, Steve
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: and take her job away from her. Yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: all right, So Tresse better not everybody pretty much, pretty much,
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: that's pretty much. That's pretty accurate. She's recording people, she
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: got a GPS tracker that that's that's pretty much it.
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: And then Tresse, he better not turn on his son, Tommy.
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: I'll tell you that because Tresse is doing some really
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: sneaky stuff and his freedom is going to cost him.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: What do you think do you think how long have
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: he had it? His freedom? Not freedom? I'm about to No,
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: that's his name, is his last name. He's about drop
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: can stand him? Yeah, I can not stand you not
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: say that he did to rest is Tommy's daddy on
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: the show Power. He's made a deal with the Attorney's
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: office and so now he has to turn on his son.
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: So I'm as you do, I can't stand why why? Lord?
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: As he keeps repeating his line, keep repeating his lines,
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: and then finally, what do you think about ghosts? He
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: finally got some traction on Consulman Tate, which is played
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: by Loren's tape. Yeah yepp. And scene at the ghosts
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: gonna try to blackmail? Yeah he did, he did. Are
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: you sure you don't been watching? You've been watching this
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: scene blackmailed con Ciment Tate for the run for governor? Okay,
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: ghost is coming back to himself. Yeah yeah, yeah, Mama,
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: I've never seen an episode of Power. I just know
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: fifty cent on it. Then he ain't he ain't seen it? Yeah,
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: And then speaking of fifty cents, speaking of Canaan, Canan
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: killed Diego? Floyd boy, I heard about this. I was
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: on the boat evidently. Yeah, so Kana killed Diego. So
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: he's trying to get the connect and the power. So
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: if you noticed with this that date. What I'm saying,
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: a lot of people got the power right now, goals
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: got power of a consulman. Tate Terrek is trying to
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: do his thing and turn into a chron Mino, but
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: he's so disloyal to his daddy. I'm so sick of him.
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: And then finally, who do you think should take the
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: fall for Ray Ray's murder? So hit me up at
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: lips Marcarla, this was reality update, worri back. That's what
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: he after. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright.
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: The war of words continues between the White House and
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: Alma Rossa. Several reports say that President Trump is filing
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: arbitration against almar Rossa for her alleged violation of a
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: nondisclosure agreement. The agreement was signed back in two thousand sixteen,
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: and as we've been telling you, Mr Trump and almar
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: Rossa have been engaged in a war of words since
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: she began promoting her tell all book about her time
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: as a White House stafford. She claims that Donald Trump
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: has serious mental impairment. Those are in quotations serious mental impairment,
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: and claims she's heard a tape of him using the
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: n word uh. The latest exchange, Alma Rossa unveiled a
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: secret recording of a discussion she had with two other
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: staffers um about suggestions that Trump had dropped the in
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: bomb in word bomb. Trump has since taken to Twitter
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: to call her a low life and a dog. We
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: talked about this yesterday and everybody's talking about this. I
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: mean a dog. If we run the tape and head
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: what's gonna happen, then what He'll probably get more votes
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: the way things are going for him to tell you something,
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: I'm really Imma Rosa has to be very careful the
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: way this administration is set up and the way Congress
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: in the House is set up. All these the two
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: houses are set up. The Republicans noticed, man is not presidential.
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: But now it's about protecting the power, the control and
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: they house seat, which is they paycheck. It's about controlling that.
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: They are not going to do anything to let that
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: power control and them seats go because that's their livelihood.
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: But when you say she needs to be care full,
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: what exactly are you saying? They're gonna crush her. They
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: are going to crush Amar Rosa. It is all about
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: loyalty the president him. But and she's making them look
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: stupid because when you go into the situation room, you know,
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: you're supposed to leave your part, your your phone and
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: all that stuff outside. Now it looks like there's no
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: security in the situation room. Is yeah, for real, it is,
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: you know. But it makes them look stupid, like they
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: weren't on top of their game. And she exposed it.
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: They're gonna find a way. It's not that they're not
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: on top of their game. She's in the inner circle.
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: She has certain clearances. Now they've exposed the fact that
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: people are recording this. Not they're gonna tighten the screws. Yeah,
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: to provide to prevent another leading, but they're gonna toss
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: amar Rosa. And I hate to see this for this
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: system man, because they're gonna tossed up, like her or not.
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: They're gonna toss her and make an example because and
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: that's what's gonna get up because she's going about it
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: the wrong way, and in her interviews to sell the books,
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: she's making no friends. Things so combative, she's making no
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: friends journalists and TV hosts and things. It's not a
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: good look. It's just not she she's not very likable
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: people don't like her. She's going on the stations who
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: are liberal, who are left wing. She always promote the
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: wrong stuff that Trump does. She's going on there, but
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: she's going on there as the enemy because she is
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: from the Trump administration. So they're not they're not welcoming
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: her with open arms. They're attacking her for being a
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: member of the Trump administration. She's twofold in the very
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: very situation. Yeah, okay, well we'll come back with more
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. This is the

- 1:28:02Speaker 1: twenty minutes, finds this trap, says you can go by tomorrow.
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: We get up, me and my boy Will. We're in
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: the car. We go to the big watch store. They
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: take us upstairs in the special room. We got champagne,
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: we're chilling. Everything good. We give him the information, the
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: number to the watch, the strap we're looking for, and
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: then found out you have reservations for this trap. Yes,
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: we have reservations for this trap. Reservation means somebody holding it.
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: We're saying, we're so whole. He said, is it reservations? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: that got all that all right. He come back twice
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: getting some more information. He come back and he says,
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: I'm so sorry, but Jean Pierre, I told him yesterday
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: that we do not have that color strap set. I
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: am so sorry, and are you are sitting here in
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: front of me? Excuse me, I am going to make
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: your phone call. He turned around and got his phone
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: call in frich He cussed this dude out so damn sex.

- 1:29:49Speaker 1: to play jack and play Zack and play? I know

- 1:30:46Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. We'll have more fun, more
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: parents stories, all of that right after this one more time,
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: Steve Chock do blas said, you're listening to all right, Steve,
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: here we are last break of the day. Time for
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: closing remarks. We love this portion of the show because
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: you always leave us with something, something encouraging, something lightning.
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: Today is gonna be really good because it's something that
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: came to me while I was on my trip. One
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: of the things that, yeah, what I want to go
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: over with today is something that I learned on my vacation. Um,
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: when I take my yearly trip with my wife. Um,
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: it's to gain clarity. It's the period of my life
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: that I do the absolute most praying because I don't
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: have to go to work, I ain't got to sit
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: in the chair, I don't have to nobody's around me.
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: So it's really the period of my life while I
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: do the most praying because I talked to him a lot,
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: because I'm relaxed, I'm out on that water that I
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: have a lot of conversations with One of the things
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: that I learned about myself that I have to do,
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: and I'm just gonna share it with you all. You
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: may see yourself in this position too. I have to
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: start having a better attitude. I just have to. And
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: and you know, like I was talking to you the
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: other day about two who much has given, much is required,
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: how I was listening to Bishop Jake's and how he's
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: straightened that whole scripture out for me. Well, it's a
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: part of that scripture to to who much is given,
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: much is required, and sometimes the requirements become so daunting.
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: So much of you wanting to be successful takes care
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: so much of your time. And then you got kids,
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: you got grandkids, you got you got employees, you got
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: people on your staff, you got children, you got people do,
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: you got to associd, you've got co workers, and you
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: just find yourself always given. If you're a mother, you
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: just give, give, give, give, give, give. Oh, you got
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: a beautiful family, but your chest keep giving, and you
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: wind up sometimes complaining about this a lot. And I
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: find myself doing that. Old one man, I'm tired. I
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: got a lot, I got a lot, I got this
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: to do. I'm gonna stop that. And what came to
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: me on the boat was, uh, I was online looking
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: at something and I ran across this and it just
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: struck me. And the reason I'm gonna stop complaining, it's
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: because I've often said gratitude is one of the great
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: the lack of gratitude is one of the great blessing
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: blockers of all time, because if you're not grateful, God
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: is a just god, and what he'll do is if
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: you're not grateful for what you have and your steady
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: complaining about it. Why would he, being the all knowing
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: and just God that he is, give you some most
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: stuff to complain about when you're not even grateful for
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: what you have. If everything is causing you to complain,
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: let me stop you from complaining, let me stop giving
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: you more. So you know what I came to. This
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: is what hit me, man. I can't cry about having
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: a lot on my plate when my goal was to eat.
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: I can't cry about having a lot on my plate
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: when my goal was to eat. You got to come on, now,
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: you got to start thinking about this. You complaining about
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: what you got all. My plate is full, I'm overloaded.
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: You can't cry about having a lot on your plate
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: when the whole time your goal was to eat. Now
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: your play fool, But now you're tripping. Whoa, Steve Harvey, whoa?
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: You can't do that, You, sir, are blocking the rest
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: of what God has for you. And that came to
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: me on the boat, and I just wanted to share
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: it with y'all. I just gotta watch my attitude better,
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: because my attitude is my altitude. If you adjust your attitude,
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: you automatically adjust your altitude. They come together. I could
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: be doing much better if I would adjust my attitude.
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: I can't cry about having a lot on my plate
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: when my goal was to eat. See if I look
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: back on them years I was homeless, and I kept
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: crying out to him, God, come get me, Lord, I
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: want to eat. I'm tired of being destitute. I'm out
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: of being out. I'm tired of And I kept crying
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: out to him, and he heard my cry, and now
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: he loaded my plate. Dog, Now I want to complain
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: about the plate being loaded. It's too much. Oh, pardon
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: of what you want? You want to go back to
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: living in that car. You want to go back to
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: windows shopping. That what you want. You want to go
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: back to having horrible credit. You want to go back
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: to not being able to make no moves, that's what
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: you want. Nope, okay, then cool. You can't cry about
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: having a lot on your plate when your goal was
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: to eat. But just your attitude, you immediately change your altitude.
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: If I want to go higher, I got a crazy more.
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: I gotta thank him, mold. I gotta be more grateful
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: with all that's on my plate, with all the requirements
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: that's been giving me that come with it. Man, So
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: you can't get it and then don't get what come
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: with it. It don't work that way. Look, man, you
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: can't be the heavyweight champ of the world in boxing
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: and not get in the ring and have people swinging
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: at you. It ain't gonna happen. Pardon. If you want
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: to be the m M A champ, you got to
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: get in the cage. They're not gonna hand you the
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: title unless you get in the cage. Those are my clothes?
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: Were mast beautiful, dropped the mic that helped me. That
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: helped me right there, Bro, You can't cry about having
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: a lot on your plate when your goal was to eat. Yeah,
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: that's beautiful. So tomorrow when we play, are you smarter
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: than nephew tom your attitude? That's oh, my two friend,
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: he don't want for all. Steve Harvey contests No purchase necessary,
