- 0:39Speaker 4: Joy.
- 0:50Speaker 3: Yeah, Joy, you don't you love you?
- 1:13Speaker 4: Turn?
- 1:16Speaker 5: You gotta turn, got.
- 1:41Speaker 1: To turn the mouse to turn.
- 1:43Speaker 7: You probably got to turn mouth, turn out, turn the
- 1:47Speaker 7: water of the money up.
- 1:55Speaker 6: Come come on, you'll think, ah.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 6: Good morning everybody you're listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 6: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 6: radio show. I have something, and it so describes how
- 2:15Speaker 6: I was living. It so captures the feelings that I
- 2:21Speaker 6: had about beginning on the pathway of my dreams. It
- 2:26Speaker 6: so describes how I felt when I was about to
- 2:31Speaker 6: attempt something. And I have some striking news for you.
- 2:35Speaker 6: It describes often how I feel still today to a degree.
- 2:40Speaker 6: So let me tell you what that is. Here's an
- 2:43Speaker 6: analogy that I've heard a couple of different ways, but
- 2:48Speaker 6: I've kind of, you know, fixed it around to where
- 2:51Speaker 6: I can drink it better, and I think it fits
- 2:54Speaker 6: my personality to describe it to people best this way.
- 2:58Speaker 6: I've talked often about the urgency of doing something with
- 3:03Speaker 6: your life. Of getting started today, of stopping the procrastination
- 3:08Speaker 6: and putting it off, and waiting on all your ducks
- 3:11Speaker 6: to line up in a row, and waiting until the
- 3:14Speaker 6: stars aligned themselves. If you're waiting on such a thing,
- 3:17Speaker 6: you're never gonna get started. I don't know too many
- 3:20Speaker 6: people who can say that all the ducks just lined
- 3:23Speaker 6: up in the row.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Things happen. Even when you get them lined up.
- 3:27Speaker 6: One of the ducks get out of line, or somebody
- 3:29Speaker 6: knock over the domino.
- 3:31Speaker 2: Something happens. But here's the point I'm getting at.
- 3:35Speaker 6: God has so many blessings available to you. You who's listening.
- 3:45Speaker 6: God has so many blessings available to you from where
- 3:50Speaker 6: you are right now. I don't care what you've gotten
- 3:54Speaker 6: yourself into or what you've done. God has so many
- 3:59Speaker 6: blessings that he can send your way. But you have
- 4:04Speaker 6: to do something.
- 4:06Speaker 2: See a lot of.
- 4:07Speaker 6: People just sit around and go man, I don't and
- 4:10Speaker 6: something always happening to you. You're always getting a break,
- 4:13Speaker 6: You're always doing this. You always do man, do nothing
- 4:15Speaker 6: come my way? Listen to me. If nothing ever comes
- 4:19Speaker 6: your way. You know why that is. It's because you're
- 4:21Speaker 6: not doing anything. I promise you you're not. Here's a deal.
- 4:26Speaker 6: God has all these blessings he wants to send you,
- 4:29Speaker 6: but you got to give him something to work with. Now,
- 4:33Speaker 6: come on, God will bless you. God can touch people's
- 4:36Speaker 6: hearts on your behalf. He can move situations around for you.
- 4:41Speaker 6: He can align the stars. He can set the ducks
- 4:43Speaker 6: up in the row. But align the stars and move
- 4:46Speaker 6: people around, and touch people's hearts and set the ducks
- 4:49Speaker 6: up in the row. For what have you put forth
- 4:53Speaker 6: any effort? Have you made a single step in any
- 4:56Speaker 6: direction to do the right thing or go the right
- 4:59Speaker 6: way that he gives him something to put his finger on.
- 5:03Speaker 6: Come on, man, God can only bless you according to
- 5:08Speaker 6: your faith. If you have a little bit of faith,
- 5:10Speaker 6: give him that. Let him work with that. You know, man,
- 5:13Speaker 6: I didn't always start with these speeches you hear in
- 5:16Speaker 6: the morning. Now. I ain't always had these. I grew
- 5:18Speaker 6: to these. I stumbled my way to these. I messed
- 5:22Speaker 6: up my way to these. Here, I got it wrong
- 5:26Speaker 6: so many times to be able to sound like I
- 5:29Speaker 6: got some sense, I said it often. Failure is a
- 5:32Speaker 6: wonderful teacher. Do you know how many times I have
- 5:35Speaker 6: had to have failed to have what I have in
- 5:38Speaker 6: my head today. I'm telling you, man, it's a process.
- 5:42Speaker 6: People get mad at the process. You got to do
- 5:45Speaker 6: something to give God something to work with. He'll bless you.
- 5:48Speaker 6: But what you want me to bless If you ain't
- 5:50Speaker 6: putting forth any effort, you can get blessed from wherever
- 5:54Speaker 6: you are in your life, wherever your starting point is,
- 5:57Speaker 6: wherever you find yourself wound up, you can get it
- 6:01Speaker 6: back from there. I've done it, man, by the grace
- 6:04Speaker 6: of God, I've done it. I got over man. I
- 6:07Speaker 6: learned some things along the way. Because here's the deal.
- 6:09Speaker 6: As long as God keeps waking you up in the morning,
- 6:12Speaker 6: he ain't through with you yet. When he's done, you're done.
- 6:15Speaker 6: But if God still has a plan for you you
- 6:17Speaker 6: wake up in the morning, he still got some more
- 6:20Speaker 6: work for you to do.
- 6:21Speaker 2: You wake up in the morning.
- 6:22Speaker 6: So if you keep waking up, man, it's something that
- 6:24Speaker 6: God wants from you, would love to have from you,
- 6:28Speaker 6: and he can work with you, man, if you just
- 6:30Speaker 6: walk towards him a little bit. Here's the deal. I
- 6:34Speaker 6: know it's hard for the average person to start because
- 6:38Speaker 6: the fear of the unknown is incredible.
- 6:40Speaker 2: What if I fail? What if I don't get picked.
- 6:43Speaker 6: You know, one of the hardest things I ever did
- 6:46Speaker 6: was walking in to quit my job.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Oh man, let me tell you about that day when
- 6:50Speaker 2: I decided that I.
- 6:52Speaker 6: Was gonna be a full time comedian after winning an
- 6:55Speaker 6: amateur night one time, quitting your job, following your dream,
- 7:01Speaker 6: going for it despite all the nay says, it's like
- 7:05Speaker 6: stepping off a cliff. It's like actually just walking off
- 7:09Speaker 6: the edge of a cliff, hoping, hoping. Now not really knowing,
- 7:15Speaker 6: but hoping. Hoping is the bad basis of faith. I
- 7:22Speaker 6: stepped off that cliff hoping that my parachute would open
- 7:28Speaker 6: and allow me to drift down. See. I've never scott
- 7:32Speaker 6: dived before, but I would imagine part of the thrill.
- 7:35Speaker 6: And I don't know this because I'm not going to
- 7:38Speaker 6: scot Dive to find out. I think part of the
- 7:41Speaker 6: thrill for people is the danger part of throwing yourself
- 7:45Speaker 6: out a plane and how it feels to be free falling,
- 7:49Speaker 6: but the whole time they're free falling, having this exhilarating
- 7:53Speaker 6: over the top moment. You have got to believe, in
- 7:57Speaker 6: your heart of hearts, you have got to hope with
- 8:00Speaker 6: everything in you that when you pull this cord the
- 8:03Speaker 6: shoot opens or else. This ain't a good move at all.
- 8:07Speaker 6: But you've packed your shoot yourself. You've taken the lessons,
- 8:11Speaker 6: so you go ahead and you make the leap. Now,
- 8:13Speaker 6: the only thing about quitting your job and following your
- 8:16Speaker 6: dream is you ain't really been trained all that good
- 8:19Speaker 6: for this. You done packed your shoot, but you ain't
- 8:22Speaker 6: never opened it before. So I walked off this cliff,
- 8:25Speaker 6: That's what it was like. And you following your dreamers
- 8:27Speaker 6: like you walking off a cliff. Here's the part where
- 8:31Speaker 6: people don't never make the jump. They see somebody like
- 8:34Speaker 6: myself who jumped off the cliff and the parachute don't
- 8:38Speaker 6: open right away, and I hit a couple of rocks
- 8:40Speaker 6: on the way down.
- 8:42Speaker 2: I got my back cut up pretty bad.
- 8:44Speaker 6: They see that three years living in a car, man
- 8:48Speaker 6: he got it life toe down jumping off that cliff.
- 8:50Speaker 6: I ain't jumping off that cliff. But see, what you
- 8:53Speaker 6: don't understand is you don't know it, but eventually the
- 8:57Speaker 6: shoot will open. I'm at the parachute opening part.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Of my life.
- 9:02Speaker 6: Man were to SHOOTE then open, and I'm drifting and
- 9:06Speaker 6: I'm able to guide my chute over to Paris and glide.
- 9:09Speaker 6: I've glided over the African and seen what it looked like.
- 9:13Speaker 2: It's a slow ride down.
- 9:15Speaker 6: When the pass chute finally opened and my back didn't
- 9:18Speaker 6: heel too and the cuts that I had on me,
- 9:21Speaker 6: I remember now I know how.
- 9:22Speaker 2: To stay away from the edge.
- 9:24Speaker 6: But the Paris chute then opened, and I'm enjoying my
- 9:27Speaker 6: life for the first time. I'm gliding, but I got
- 9:30Speaker 6: hit up against the rock. I can see more. I
- 9:33Speaker 6: get a chance to see more things. I get to
- 9:35Speaker 6: glide and see more parts of the world. I'm living
- 9:38Speaker 6: my dream. Your parachute is going to open, but I'll
- 9:41Speaker 6: tell you one thing for shore, It'll never open if
- 9:44Speaker 6: you don't step off that cliff. You got to step
- 9:46Speaker 6: off that cliff. God to get the passchute open for you.
- 9:50Speaker 6: But you got to jump, baby. That's the hard part,
- 9:52Speaker 6: ain't it? Now?
- 9:53Speaker 2: Question is the end of this story right here today?
- 9:55Speaker 2: When you jumping.
- 9:57Speaker 8: You're listening hard morning show.
- 10:02Speaker 6: Ladies and gentlemen. Can I have your attention please? And
- 10:07Speaker 6: the reason I'm asking for it is because when I
- 10:09Speaker 6: get it, I'm gonna do something with it. Now now
- 10:13Speaker 6: that I have your attention, here we go you're about
- 10:17Speaker 6: to be enlightened, a little bit frightened, educated, but then
- 10:24Speaker 6: sometimes a little miseducated. You're gonna be entertained, while at
- 10:29Speaker 6: the same time start the process of being interchanged. Then
- 10:35Speaker 6: we're gonna stimulate, but we're not gonna try to annihilate.
- 10:40Speaker 9: And in other.
- 10:41Speaker 6: Words, when you summer all this up and the words
- 10:44Speaker 6: of one of my dear, dear friends, the Steve Harvey
- 10:47Speaker 6: Morning Show is about to tare a mouth out And
- 10:52Speaker 6: the word is mouth mo ou f f mouth. That's
- 10:58Speaker 6: how we say it, that's how we s relly, welcome
- 11:01Speaker 6: to the show, Sureley straw Ben.
- 11:03Speaker 10: That is what we do.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, good morning, let.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Her for real?
- 11:09Speaker 4: Good morning. What's happening crew?
- 11:11Speaker 6: Hey, Hey, hey, hey, Julia morning. You ain't like yet?
- 11:15Speaker 2: Mouth evil nephew, Tommy, have your mouth out? Hey, just
- 11:23Speaker 2: take it?
- 11:24Speaker 6: Yeah, tongue and all gums all that's will that anything
- 11:29Speaker 6: in there?
- 11:30Speaker 8: Where do you have dental work?
- 11:33Speaker 6: Let more money?
- 11:35Speaker 9: Feeling you're gonna need some more work?
- 11:38Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 11:41Speaker 1: Yeah, you look good today, Steve.
- 11:44Speaker 10: You're feeling all right?
- 11:45Speaker 6: Hell? Yeah, you know, I feel pretty good man. I've
- 11:48Speaker 6: changed my attitude and I feel really great. I've taken everything,
- 11:54Speaker 6: everything that I used to have to do, I've turned
- 11:57Speaker 6: it around and said I get to do it. Has
- 11:59Speaker 6: made world of difference. My days are going much smoother.
- 12:03Speaker 6: I've implemented the thought process of gratitude and everything I do,
- 12:07Speaker 6: and I'm just watching God to see what he got
- 12:10Speaker 6: from me next, because He's always taking care of me.
- 12:13Speaker 6: And I lived my life in the expectation that there's
- 12:15Speaker 6: some greater things on the horizon, and I'm just watchful. Now.
- 12:24Speaker 6: What I always try to make sure I do now
- 12:27Speaker 6: is I try to give something for God to put
- 12:31Speaker 6: his finger on. You know, God can touch it for you.
- 12:34Speaker 6: I just try to give him something to touch. You know,
- 12:38Speaker 6: I put it. I got a lot of balls in there.
- 12:41Speaker 6: You know, he could take any one of them balls
- 12:45Speaker 6: he want to and just blow it up.
- 12:49Speaker 1: He was going to do that, but no, he did.
- 12:51Speaker 8: He did this, and it turns out it's better.
- 12:54Speaker 6: Surely. I can't really tell you how many times what
- 12:58Speaker 6: I wanted and what he gave me it was two
- 13:01Speaker 6: different things.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Absolutely, how I.
- 13:03Speaker 6: Want it and how he gave it to me was different,
- 13:06Speaker 6: and it was way better than what I want.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Yeah, because his thoughts are not our thoughts.
- 13:13Speaker 6: Man, such a blessing man to come to the realization
- 13:17Speaker 6: of how this actually works. Man, I wish I could
- 13:19Speaker 6: teach people how it works without sound and preaching, because
- 13:23Speaker 6: I'm not really qualified to do that.
- 13:26Speaker 2: But I wish I could share with people how it works.
- 13:29Speaker 6: Man. That's doable. But you can do that all the time.
- 13:34Speaker 11: Yeah, all right, coming up at thirty two minutes after
- 13:37Speaker 11: the hour, we'll hear from the nephew as he runs
- 13:40Speaker 11: that prank back right after this. You're listening Hard Morning
- 13:45Speaker 11: show right now, Nephew Tommy is here with run that
- 13:48Speaker 11: brank back.

- 13:50Speaker 2: Going to run it back again.
- 13:52Speaker 6: Stolen car, let's go, goddam.
- 13:58Speaker 12: Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach it. A Trevor Police Okay, yeah,
- 14:04Speaker 12: that's name, sir. You purchased a navy blue from a
- 14:09Speaker 12: used car lot dealership called car Lot.
- 14:12Speaker 2: I don't know, maybe six or seven months ago, am
- 14:15Speaker 2: I right?
- 14:16Speaker 6: Right?
- 14:16Speaker 13: It was six months ago?
- 14:18Speaker 2: Okay.
- 14:19Speaker 12: Now you've been paying notes on this car, I know,
- 14:22Speaker 12: for the last six months, and you know I hate
- 14:25Speaker 12: to be a burden of bad news. Actually, my name
- 14:28Speaker 12: is Detective Justin and I'm giving you a call to
- 14:32Speaker 12: let you know that the actual vehicle, this two thousand
- 14:35Speaker 12: and one Navy blueesh that you purchased, is actually a
- 14:40Speaker 12: stolen vehicle. And we've actually been looking for this car
- 14:44Speaker 12: for the last I've been pretty much close to a
- 14:46Speaker 12: year now, maybe a little over a year, we've been
- 14:48Speaker 12: looking for this.
- 14:49Speaker 2: I work in the Auto theft.
- 14:50Speaker 12: Division, and hold on, detective justin, sir, and I'm in
- 14:57Speaker 12: the Auto theft division here at the police department.
- 15:03Speaker 13: I think you got the wrong I think you got
- 15:05Speaker 13: the wrong guys man, because what was it?
- 15:10Speaker 12: No, sir, And I've done the trace on and I
- 15:12Speaker 12: know this is probably a shock to you, but we're
- 15:15Speaker 12: right on point with this thing. You've got a two
- 15:17Speaker 12: thousand and one Navy blue. You did buy it. You
- 15:19Speaker 12: did buy it at the car lot dealership, and that uh,
- 15:23Speaker 12: and it's the exact one that the license plate shirt
- 15:26Speaker 12: they do match up. And uh, I know this is
- 15:29Speaker 12: a bit of a shock to you, but your car
- 15:31Speaker 12: is actually a stolen car. So the dealership, sir, actually
- 15:35Speaker 12: sold you a stolen car. And I know you did
- 15:39Speaker 12: not know that. I know that it was not any
- 15:41Speaker 12: information that you already knew. And I know you thought
- 15:44Speaker 12: that you were just purchasing a legitimate car, but you
- 15:47Speaker 12: have a stolen car, mister Trevor.
- 15:50Speaker 13: No, no, I think you got the wrong first, because
- 15:53Speaker 13: this car is not stolen.
- 15:54Speaker 14: For real, this is sir.
- 15:57Speaker 12: I can go all day with you and try to
- 15:59Speaker 12: make you understand what's going on here, and I know
- 16:01Speaker 12: it's probably some some blurry information that's not clear to you,
- 16:05Speaker 12: but at the end of the day, your car is stolen.
- 16:08Speaker 12: I am gonna have to either get someone to come
- 16:10Speaker 12: out and impound it or you.
- 16:14Speaker 13: No, no, I think y'all might need to go back
- 16:16Speaker 13: over y'all records, man, because I think y'all real. I
- 16:19Speaker 13: think y'all got the wrong person, sir.
- 16:22Speaker 6: For real, I'm gonna tell you once and i'm gonna
- 16:24Speaker 6: tell you again.
- 16:25Speaker 12: You have a car that's stolen that I have to
- 16:28Speaker 12: have in my possession by the end.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Of the day.
- 16:30Speaker 13: Now, the end of the day, for real.
- 16:32Speaker 12: Man, you got sir, you have a stolen car, and
- 16:36Speaker 12: you're gonna need to bring that car into the police
- 16:39Speaker 12: station so we can get this thing rectified.
- 16:43Speaker 15: Man, for real, Man, hold on, let me talk about this.
- 16:45Speaker 13: Man. I don't know about all this. She's telling it
- 16:47Speaker 13: for real.
- 16:48Speaker 12: Sir, I understand what you're saying, but do you realize
- 16:50Speaker 12: you're talking to a police officer here.
- 16:53Speaker 2: I am detective. I am detective Justin.
- 16:56Speaker 13: I am who you are, man, I'm them.
- 17:01Speaker 2: Is no longer, sir.
- 17:03Speaker 12: We've had to actually shut them down for the time
- 17:06Speaker 12: being until we get quite a few cars rectified that.
- 17:09Speaker 12: I've got more than just your vehicle, Sir, that's been
- 17:12Speaker 12: that that has auto theft tied to its hold. That's
- 17:17Speaker 12: two things. Either you're gonna bring it to me or
- 17:19Speaker 12: I'm gonna come get it now.
- 17:20Speaker 15: Which one do you want to do to You ain't
- 17:22Speaker 15: coming to get for real, sir.
- 17:24Speaker 12: I don't want to have this to have to get
- 17:25Speaker 12: go to a level of where it doesn't need to be.
- 17:28Speaker 2: But I need to get that car in my possession.
- 17:30Speaker 13: Okay, look, look, look listen while I'm telling you.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Okay, you listening, I'm listening, sir.
- 17:35Speaker 15: Okay, Look, unless somebody's gonna take me my three hundred
- 17:39Speaker 15: seventy seven and fifty two cents I've been paying for
- 17:42Speaker 15: the last six months, unless you're gonna tay me that,
- 17:45Speaker 15: give me back my trent in that get this man,
- 17:49Speaker 15: I ain't out here. What you're talking about for real? No,
- 17:51Speaker 15: it is a he's coming at me with man. I
- 17:53Speaker 15: worked too hard to be keeping up these notes like here, man,
- 17:57Speaker 15: I got that. Am I ready to take care? And
- 17:59Speaker 15: you come to I am like you trying to take
- 18:01Speaker 15: my car because something that happened before.
- 18:03Speaker 14: I bar it. I don't even know this is true.
- 18:07Speaker 15: Like I said, I thank you missed it. I think
- 18:08Speaker 15: you've got me missed over with somebody else.
- 18:10Speaker 14: What y'all just not coming in and me talking this.
- 18:13Speaker 13: I ain't heard nothing about this before, sir.
- 18:15Speaker 12: It's taking us a while to actually track down the
- 18:17Speaker 12: car and actually find out exactly where it was. I've
- 18:20Speaker 12: tracked this car for the last eight nine months, and
- 18:23Speaker 12: I finally found that you are the one that's actually
- 18:25Speaker 12: has it in your possession. It happens all the time.
- 18:28Speaker 12: It's an unlikely situation. But I got to get you
- 18:30Speaker 12: to bring it in and I'm.
- 18:32Speaker 15: I ain't bring it. You know what I mean, I
- 18:34Speaker 15: ain't bring it. I got coming to get me. Somebody
- 18:38Speaker 15: give me my three hundred seventy dollars fifty two cents
- 18:41Speaker 15: I've been paying for the last six months.

- 20:50Speaker 8: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Time for us.
- 20:53Speaker 11: The c l O Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey in
- 20:57Speaker 11: the building, ready.
- 20:59Speaker 6: For your question.
- 21:00Speaker 11: And it's Courtney and iHeart A listener says, I'm thirty
- 21:04Speaker 11: and dating a man that's thirty one, and he tells
- 21:07Speaker 11: me all the time that I'm his soulmate. He's all
- 21:10Speaker 11: into me in every way. He gives me baths and pedicures,
- 21:14Speaker 11: and he even will polish my toenails if I ask
- 21:17Speaker 11: him to.
- 21:18Speaker 8: He irons my.
- 21:19Speaker 11: Clothes for me daily, and he cleans up the kitchen
- 21:22Speaker 11: if I cook. We never argue, and if we ever disagree,
- 21:26Speaker 11: we settle it quickly.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Well, it's this letterful, listen.
- 21:30Speaker 11: He's so different than any other guy I've dated. My
- 21:33Speaker 11: daddy says he's soft and won't make a good husband.
- 21:37Speaker 11: How can my daddy make such a negative assumption.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Yeah, it's better to be soft and feel soft. Well,
- 21:44Speaker 2: nothing says that the man is soft.
- 21:45Speaker 6: He's just soft to his daddy. Maybe her father's hard
- 21:49Speaker 6: and made may and he's a good husband. So he thinking,
- 21:53Speaker 6: because this dude a hard, he must be soft. I
- 21:57Speaker 6: got lady, If you have no complaints, don't let your
- 22:01Speaker 6: father create one.
- 22:04Speaker 1: This guy's a dream.
- 22:06Speaker 2: There you go ash, Well, can't say that, all right?
- 22:10Speaker 6: What I can't say that because somebody I was gonna say,
- 22:16Speaker 6: maybe you should ask your mom how happy she's been
- 22:20Speaker 6: with how she would feel with some treatment like that,
- 22:24Speaker 6: because your dad he ain't gonna do none of that.
- 22:26Speaker 5: He that.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Yeah, all right? Moving on Keinetra in Memphis Rights.
- 22:31Speaker 11: I'm a forty two year old divorced woman and I
- 22:33Speaker 11: fell in love with the perfect guy, but I ran
- 22:36Speaker 11: him away by being paranoid. I had a rough marriage
- 22:39Speaker 11: and my husband cheated, so I developed bad habits like
- 22:43Speaker 11: checking his phone and popping up at places he was
- 22:46Speaker 11: hanging out. I carried this behavior into my new relationship
- 22:49Speaker 11: and was always accusing my new guy of messing around.
- 22:52Speaker 11: I want a second chance with him, and I want
- 22:55Speaker 11: him to know that I changed. How do I start
- 22:57Speaker 11: the conversation with him?
- 22:59Speaker 2: Lugg?
- 23:00Speaker 6: You know what?
- 23:02Speaker 2: You know what?
- 23:03Speaker 6: What?
- 23:04Speaker 10: Boy?
- 23:05Speaker 2: I was tripping?
- 23:08Speaker 6: You know, you know it's so crazy, cause you know,
- 23:11Speaker 6: I know you a good man, but I'm so stupid.
- 23:13Speaker 6: I'd be just checking your phone and you know you
- 23:16Speaker 6: ain't even know. I'd be outside the bar waiting on you.
- 23:19Speaker 6: I'll be in your house and I just you know,
- 23:22Speaker 6: I've just been you know, but it was my ex.
- 23:24Speaker 6: He just made me his way. But and you know what,
- 23:26Speaker 6: I'm not gonna do that anymore because I think I
- 23:30Speaker 6: found what I'm looking for.
- 23:31Speaker 4: You know.
- 23:33Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah, it might work, but I doubt it.
- 23:39Speaker 6: All right.
- 23:40Speaker 11: So Tony in the Bay Area says, I'm a thirty
- 23:43Speaker 11: three year old married man raising my two daughters while
- 23:46Speaker 11: my wife is in jail for sixteen months. She committed
- 23:50Speaker 11: credit card fraud, and I was clueless when she got arrested.
- 23:54Speaker 11: The problem I'm having now is that she only calls
- 23:57Speaker 11: us once a week if then she calls her mom daily,
- 24:01Speaker 11: and it ticks me off. Her mom said she's still
- 24:04Speaker 11: ashamed to talk to me. But I don't believe that
- 24:07Speaker 11: she had a whole side hustle that I didn't know about.
- 24:10Speaker 11: So do you think she has a side due too?
- 24:13Speaker 11: Am I being a fool for waiting for her?
- 24:15Speaker 9: Wow?
- 24:16Speaker 2: Whoa a side?
- 24:18Speaker 4: Doude?
- 24:19Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 24:19Speaker 8: He wants to know.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Yeah, well you don't know what.
- 24:23Speaker 6: Yeah, but bruh, listen to me. Credit card there ain't
- 24:29Speaker 6: got nothing to do with the side, dude. She might be,
- 24:33Speaker 6: you know, honestly, just embarrassed. The mom could be right,
- 24:39Speaker 6: I don't know where you got the other dude.
- 24:41Speaker 11: From because she kept back from him, you know, she
- 24:44Speaker 11: she more, she keeps secrets.
- 24:48Speaker 6: So he's okay, Well, well, well okay, okay, then go
- 24:51Speaker 6: with that theory, you know, go with that theory and
- 24:55Speaker 6: see how that work out for you. Sometimes being parano
- 24:58Speaker 6: about stuff that you have no facts on it, it's
- 25:01Speaker 6: a waste of time. It's like, why are you're tripping
- 25:04Speaker 6: yourself out about something that you don't even have the facts.
- 25:07Speaker 12: But uncle, if she lied about that, what he thinking
- 25:10Speaker 12: is she probably has some most skeletons, That's what it is.
- 25:13Speaker 6: Well, excuse me, but nephew, tourmy. Because you lie about
- 25:17Speaker 6: one thing, don't mean that you lie about everything.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Well nothing when I lie, well nothing when I lie? No,
- 25:25Speaker 2: surely no, because.
- 25:27Speaker 11: You usually have you know, when you tell one tell
- 25:32Speaker 11: another lie another life.
- 25:33Speaker 6: But you I mean, I'm just saying this because you
- 25:37Speaker 6: lie about one thing, don't mean you're lie about all things. Now,
- 25:41Speaker 6: if you want to accept the parent no her, and
- 25:44Speaker 6: act on it, then go ahead. But the woman might
- 25:49Speaker 6: not have nothing to do with no other dude. She
- 25:51Speaker 6: called once a week. She in bad, She called her
- 25:54Speaker 6: mama daily. How close once y'all before she went in.
- 25:59Speaker 1: Why not as close as he thought they were.
- 26:02Speaker 6: Why was you doing all this anyway? I mean, why
- 26:04Speaker 6: was she doing all this anyway? Something else is going on, bro,
- 26:08Speaker 6: And now you're thinking it's another dude in the picture.
- 26:11Speaker 6: When she went to jail for credit card fraud, she
- 26:17Speaker 6: didn't go to jail with an accomplish.
- 26:18Speaker 2: That was a dude.
- 26:19Speaker 12: She went by herself. Maybe we need to see what
- 26:22Speaker 12: she was buying with the credit card. I mean, we
- 26:24Speaker 12: got hotels on it and a whole bunch of other stuff.
- 26:27Speaker 6: Yeah. See, you know, why don't we just letting mister
- 26:30Speaker 6: negativity here?
- 26:32Speaker 1: He's a person's raised raising two daughters.
- 26:37Speaker 2: I'm talking about. I don't know how I became negativity.
- 26:42Speaker 6: I'm negative. She just letting him ask all the little
- 26:45Speaker 6: negative asked questions so he can break up this family.
- 26:48Speaker 8: All right, we're moving We're moving on.
- 26:50Speaker 2: I know you agree with him, Jay because you ignorant.
- 26:53Speaker 11: So.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Understands.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Let's get to this one.
- 27:00Speaker 11: Huntsville says, I'm fifty two and I recently met a
- 27:02Speaker 11: fifty five year old man on an online dating site.
- 27:06Speaker 11: He has never been married, and he is one adult child.
- 27:09Speaker 11: I am divorced and I have one child in college.
- 27:12Speaker 11: I bought a small house after my divorce, and he's
- 27:14Speaker 11: living in a one bedroom apartment. We both are teachers
- 27:17Speaker 11: and we're both Baptists. Other than that, we don't seem
- 27:20Speaker 11: to be on the same page. To be honest, I
- 27:22Speaker 11: had hoped to meet a man that didn't still live
- 27:24Speaker 11: in an apartment. Am I focused on the wrong thing?
- 27:26Speaker 11: Should I get to know him anyway?
- 27:28Speaker 8: Clo?
- 27:29Speaker 6: I mean, you got every right to focus on what
- 27:32Speaker 6: you want to foc on day your priorities. If you
- 27:35Speaker 6: want a man that's a home owner fifty two, then
- 27:38Speaker 6: maybe that's one of your qualifications, and you can pass
- 27:41Speaker 6: up on a good man. If he ain't never been married,
- 27:43Speaker 6: maybe he ain't never had a reason by the house,
- 27:45Speaker 6: I don't know. Oh, he couldn't live with somebody. He
- 27:48Speaker 6: just said he ain't been married. You know, he ain't
- 27:50Speaker 6: leaving with nobody, you know?
- 27:53Speaker 1: All right, Well, thank you, Clo.
- 27:55Speaker 6: You could ask mister negativity what he wanted to do
- 27:58Speaker 6: agat VERSI let everybody off, you know, let everybody just
- 28:02Speaker 6: break up.
- 28:03Speaker 10: You're listening.
- 28:05Speaker 8: Morning show.
- 28:08Speaker 10: Right now, Steve?
- 28:10Speaker 1: What does Jay have going on?
- 28:11Speaker 8: Now?
- 28:11Speaker 1: What is going on?
- 28:13Speaker 7: This road trip or reenactment of everybody who's gonna be
- 28:18Speaker 7: taking a road trip this summer summertime. Time for a
- 28:20Speaker 7: bunch of people to get in the car and ride,
- 28:23Speaker 7: and it will sound something like this.
- 28:27Speaker 6: What I'm gonna do is I'm gonna react. React. What
- 28:31Speaker 6: is it like when six grown people who work together
- 28:35Speaker 6: take a road trip? All right, everybody in bugle out?
- 28:43Speaker 6: All right, let me start the car. They're dinging right there.
- 28:49Speaker 6: Somebody ain't got their seat belt, I mine, all right,
- 28:55Speaker 6: all right, now we need a little driving music. Boy,
- 29:01Speaker 6: I like that. Did you hear what that hell from
- 29:03Speaker 6: Taylor Ships?
- 29:06Speaker 8: She did her country version?
- 29:08Speaker 2: Almost didn't like that girl no more?
- 29:11Speaker 8: Well, quite frankly, I'd like to hear some gospel music.
- 29:19Speaker 16: Like that.
- 29:20Speaker 10: Come on, Kirk.
- 29:22Speaker 9: Like, yeah, that's nice.
- 29:23Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, yeah, What's what happened to me?
- 29:28Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 29:28Speaker 6: So we're not listening there listening to nothing. We ain't
- 29:31Speaker 6: listening to nothing.
- 29:33Speaker 9: Hang silence, riding silence. Then let's just ride in silence.
- 29:38Speaker 7: I just have a question, Yeah, well, boy, are we well?
- 29:42Speaker 6: What you come for?
- 29:43Speaker 10: You want to play a game?
- 29:45Speaker 4: Play? What game?
- 29:46Speaker 17: Game?
- 29:47Speaker 5: You know?
- 29:47Speaker 8: We could sing the song ninety nine Bottles of Beer
- 29:51Speaker 8: that hell.
- 29:51Speaker 9: Can that's my cock?
- 29:53Speaker 2: Can we play that? You in the car?
- 29:56Speaker 6: You own?
- 29:57Speaker 2: Can we can we get something to eat?
- 30:00Speaker 6: You know what we just got in the car.

- 53:02Speaker 11: we went our separate ways and he was married for
- 53:04Speaker 11: twenty years and had three kids with his wife. I
- 53:08Speaker 11: was married for thirteen years and I got a divorce
- 53:11Speaker 11: and was raising my two children alone. When I reconnected
- 53:15Speaker 11: with my high school sweetheart, we blended our families and
- 53:19Speaker 11: picked right back up where we left off in high school.
- 53:22Speaker 11: We have lots in common and we share a lot
- 53:24Speaker 11: of old friends and memories. The only problem I'm having
- 53:28Speaker 11: in the marriage is when my husband mentions how his
- 53:31Speaker 11: ex wife did things and he compares me to her.
- 53:35Speaker 11: He makes sure he always gives me credit as being
- 53:38Speaker 11: better than his ex but I need him to stop
- 53:41Speaker 11: mentioning her altogether. We were having a crab boil and
- 53:45Speaker 11: I peel the shrimp before adding them to the pot.
- 53:48Speaker 10: He told me he.
- 53:49Speaker 1: Likes the shrimp peeled.
- 53:50Speaker 11: He likes the shrimp peeled because Carol used to leave
- 53:54Speaker 11: the shell on. I don't need to know what Carol
- 53:57Speaker 11: did with her shrimp. It's a non and hurtful, especially
- 54:02Speaker 11: when he does it in front of others. Some of
- 54:04Speaker 11: his friends from his previous marriage are now my friends too,
- 54:08Speaker 11: and it's uncomfortable for them. If my husband mentioned his
- 54:10Speaker 11: ex wife in our conversation, I get that he spent
- 54:14Speaker 11: twenty years with a woman so he got used to
- 54:17Speaker 11: how she did things. But he and I need to
- 54:19Speaker 11: get settled into our own ways of doing things. He
- 54:22Speaker 11: overheard me talking to my son and I told him
- 54:24Speaker 11: he's the spitting image of his daddy. My husband later
- 54:28Speaker 11: told me that it sounds like I miss my ex husband.
- 54:31Speaker 11: Why can't he understand that's how I feel when he
- 54:34Speaker 11: talks about his ex. How can I get him to
- 54:36Speaker 11: stop bringing up his ex wife to me and others? Well,
- 54:43Speaker 11: if I were petty, you know, if I were like
- 54:45Speaker 11: a petty and vindictive person, I would just tell you
- 54:48Speaker 11: to mention your ex every time. He mentioned Carol, his
- 54:53Speaker 11: ex every time, and maybe even in the bedroom, although
- 54:56Speaker 11: I really wouldn't advise that one but me, you know,
- 55:00Speaker 11: on how petty you want to get here?
- 55:03Speaker 1: Okay, get patty, Petty, Betty, Patty, betty.
- 55:08Speaker 11: You know you can make a context out of it
- 55:10Speaker 11: to see who could mention them the most. Okay, But
- 55:13Speaker 11: I'm not petty betty, So I say explain it to
- 55:16Speaker 11: him in a rational, calm way. You could start with
- 55:18Speaker 11: something like, you know, honey, remember when you overheard me
- 55:22Speaker 11: talking to my son to our son about how much
- 55:25Speaker 11: he looks like his dad.
- 55:27Speaker 1: Well, you told me.
- 55:28Speaker 11: You know, you said it sounded like I missed my ex.
- 55:32Speaker 11: That's what you said, but that wasn't the case, you know.
- 55:37Speaker 11: But guess what, I understand what you meant by that completely,
- 55:41Speaker 11: because every time you mentioned Carol, your ex, I feel.
- 55:45Speaker 8: Like you're comparing me to her. And I think you
- 55:47Speaker 8: do that a lot.
- 55:48Speaker 11: You were with her for twenty years, I get that,
- 55:51Speaker 11: so you became accustomed to the way she did things
- 55:54Speaker 11: so much so that it seems like you can't help
- 55:56Speaker 11: mentioning it every chance you get, especially when we're around
- 56:00Speaker 11: our friends. At least I said that to my son,
- 56:02Speaker 11: our son in private, when it was just the two
- 56:04Speaker 11: of us and no one else. I'm bringing all this
- 56:07Speaker 11: up because I don't think you realize how much you
- 56:09Speaker 11: mentioned Carol your ex to me.
- 56:12Speaker 10: I mean, do you.
- 56:13Speaker 11: Understand how that makes me feel? You're talking to your
- 56:16Speaker 11: husband now, Do you understand that? And I hope that's
- 56:20Speaker 11: what it is, that you just don't really get or
- 56:22Speaker 11: realize what you're doing, and not the fact that you
- 56:25Speaker 11: miss her like you accuse me of missing my ex.
- 56:29Speaker 11: So I'm saying all this to say, please, let's be mindful,
- 56:33Speaker 11: let's be conscientious of what we say to each other
- 56:36Speaker 11: and how we say things, how we speak to each other. Please,
- 56:39Speaker 11: we've been married for four years. We want this to
- 56:41Speaker 11: last a long time till death, so it's not to
- 56:44Speaker 11: cause any more hurt feelings or misunderstandings. We both have
- 56:48Speaker 11: moved on. Remember that's why we're together. That's how we
- 56:51Speaker 11: got together in the first place. Because we've moved on.
- 56:54Speaker 11: Let's leave the past in the past. We have to
- 56:57Speaker 11: do that, say something like that, Like I said, an irrational,
- 57:00Speaker 11: calm manner. Don't go tit for tat with them, you know,
- 57:04Speaker 11: unless you absolutely have to. But I wouldn't do that, But.
- 57:07Speaker 8: Just remind him.
- 57:08Speaker 11: Maybe he's you know, not thinking clearly enough, and you
- 57:11Speaker 11: got to remind him. But if you need to get
- 57:13Speaker 11: Patty Girl gone and get Patty Steve.
- 57:16Speaker 6: See, wow, I'm in total disagreement with you.
- 57:21Speaker 2: Shall ah this letter don't call for all that I
- 57:27Speaker 2: think so.
- 57:28Speaker 6: Beautiful response, well thought out, everything like that. Here's the problem.
- 57:33Speaker 6: High school sweethearts. He was married for twenty years, had
- 57:36Speaker 6: three kids. He was married for thirteen hand two. Y'all
- 57:40Speaker 6: got back together, picked right back where we left off.
- 57:45Speaker 6: We got lots in commons. We share a lot of
- 57:47Speaker 6: old friends and memories. The only problem I'm having with
- 57:52Speaker 6: this marriage here is what the letter is about. It's
- 57:55Speaker 6: when my husband mentioned how his ex wife did and
- 58:00Speaker 6: he compares me to her. I have one question for him,
- 58:06Speaker 6: why is she your ex? The fact that he keeps
- 58:12Speaker 6: mentioning her. We've got to dig into why she is
- 58:19Speaker 6: the ex because if you miss her and you keep
- 58:24Speaker 6: mentioning her and you keep comparing you to her, maybe
- 58:32Speaker 6: he didn't want out, he just ended up out. Maybe
- 58:37Speaker 6: he's not mentioning her because he's just habit. Maybe it's
- 58:41Speaker 6: a longing. I don't know, but I have a couple
- 58:44Speaker 6: of ideas for you when we come back, because this
- 58:48Speaker 6: is crazy. Just keep mentioning her name.
- 58:50Speaker 2: What's wrong with you?
- 58:50Speaker 1: Carol?
- 58:57Speaker 6: Steve? He told me, like shrimp peel, Carol used to
- 59:01Speaker 6: lead the shells on.
- 59:02Speaker 11: Well that part two of Steve's response coming up in
- 59:04Speaker 11: twenty three minutes after the.
- 59:06Speaker 1: Hour, subject he loves to mention his ex wife. We'll
- 59:10Speaker 1: get back into it right after this.
- 59:12Speaker 8: You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 59:15Speaker 11: All right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's Strawberry Letters,
- 59:18Speaker 11: subject he loves to mention his ex wife.
- 59:22Speaker 6: This man keep bringing up his ex wife to his
- 59:24Speaker 6: carried wife. Your husband mentioned how his ex wife did
- 59:29Speaker 6: stuff and he compassed me to her. Now he makes
- 59:33Speaker 6: sure he give you credit though, for being better than
- 59:37Speaker 6: his ex. But I need him to stop mentioning it.
- 59:41Speaker 6: Haul together. Here was a good example. We having a
- 59:44Speaker 6: crab bare crab boil, excuse me having a crab boil.
- 59:49Speaker 6: I peeled the shrimp before adding them to the pot.
- 59:52Speaker 6: He told me he likes to shrimp peel because Carol
- 59:56Speaker 6: used to lead a shell on. I don't need to
- 1:00:01Speaker 6: know what Carol did. See well, here is just surely
- 1:00:08Speaker 6: say get petty. I disagree with it, but he is
- 1:00:10Speaker 6: a free one if you have to. He told me
- 1:00:13Speaker 6: he liked the shrimp peel because Carol used to leave
- 1:00:16Speaker 6: it on the shell. Then your response should be Harol
- 1:00:20Speaker 6: always liked him off the shell, and that's why I
- 1:00:22Speaker 6: figured you would too.
- 1:00:24Speaker 11: That's petty sometimes, all right, Well let me try it.
- 1:00:30Speaker 6: It's annoying and hurtful, especially when he do it in
- 1:00:33Speaker 6: front of others. Some of his friends from the previous
- 1:00:36Speaker 6: marriage are now my friends too, and it's uncomfortable for them.
- 1:00:40Speaker 6: If my husband mentioned that his ex wife and our conversation,
- 1:00:44Speaker 6: if he is uncomfortable for them, if he mentions his
- 1:00:47Speaker 6: ex wife and our conversation, Sureley saying, mention yours too. Okay,
- 1:00:55Speaker 6: Sureley says something that the man would say about a
- 1:00:59Speaker 6: woman in the conversation with a group of friends, and
- 1:01:02Speaker 6: I'll give you her response.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: Oh, that's how you wear in your hair.
- 1:01:04Speaker 11: Oh, I like to better when Carol, Carol, when she
- 1:01:08Speaker 11: wore a hair, she used to have the bangs kind
- 1:01:10Speaker 11: of swooped to the side.
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: Well, I wear my hair like Carol Mama.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: That's how I go to That's how I just started
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: right there.
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: Try another one, Carol.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: Oh you got on those shoes. Oh Carol used to
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: wear red bottoms.
- 1:01:35Speaker 6: Well you know, I get some red red bottoms, but
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: you don't wear they don't come in your size. I
- 1:01:47Speaker 6: don't know who I insulted on that.
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: What you say.
- 1:01:52Speaker 6: You got too deep?
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:01:55Speaker 6: I just try to hurt somebody. Okay, Now, who were
- 1:01:59Speaker 6: in my shoes?
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: You're the husband who always compares his wife to wife.
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: No, you're doing the husband, and I'm showing her how
- 1:02:13Speaker 6: to come back.
- 1:02:14Speaker 11: Okay, So you okay, now go okay. Yeah, So I'll
- 1:02:17Speaker 11: just do the same one. Those aren't red bottoms. Carol
- 1:02:21Speaker 11: always wore red bottoms, my ex Carol.
- 1:02:25Speaker 6: Yeah, well Carol must have had more money because you're broke.
- 1:02:31Speaker 6: Ask I'm down here pay less.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: You're supposed to bring in her ex husband.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: Go ahead, Okay, all right?
- 1:02:41Speaker 11: What are these pancakes or waffles? Because when Carol cooked them,
- 1:02:45Speaker 11: I could always tell the difference.
- 1:02:52Speaker 6: Hell it never made hell no difference what I did
- 1:02:54Speaker 6: because I was naked cooking both of them.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: Okay, now you're getting your legs.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: Come on now, I'm ready. Okay, all right.
- 1:03:05Speaker 11: All right, let's let's go see You want to go
- 1:03:07Speaker 11: see that a comedy. Harold and I always liked, you know, thrillers,
- 1:03:12Speaker 11: shoot them up, stuff like that, murder mysteries, gangster stuff.
- 1:03:17Speaker 6: Yeah, like me and Harold like Poro. So we're gonna
- 1:03:25Speaker 6: watch a little punk ass movie. You and Carroll, you
- 1:03:27Speaker 6: watch me and Hale was in here doing a table top.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: Wow, have you gained a little weight?
- 1:03:38Speaker 11: Carol has that same outfit and she it fit her
- 1:03:42Speaker 11: really nicely, you know, I like the way it fit
- 1:03:46Speaker 11: her butt.
- 1:03:47Speaker 6: It's kind of I don't know, because Harold kept all
- 1:03:51Speaker 6: my dresses on top of my butt.
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: So I don't even know.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: I didn't know.
- 1:04:02Speaker 6: Yeah, so I don't even know if mine was fitting
- 1:04:04Speaker 6: it now you know?
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: Hell so crazy. Oh that's what kind of car you have,
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: because you know Harold, you know he had a g Wagon. Carol,
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: I mean, Carol had a g wagon.
- 1:04:22Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: Well, Hall, Hal had a herse.
- 1:04:30Speaker 10: Don't you forget it?
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: Shot.
- 1:04:32Speaker 6: He was doing me so hard, he was killing me.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: I just crawled up in the back and he drive
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: me to work.
- 1:04:41Speaker 11: So oh so we're going on vacation, honey after COVID okay,
- 1:04:46Speaker 11: oh uncommercial? Oh we always went on private, but okay.
- 1:04:53Speaker 8: We must go commercial.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: She knew pilots and everything.
- 1:04:57Speaker 6: Oh carro all did well. Damn.
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: Maybe I should have married Carol?

- 1:08:46Speaker 7: Very simple. Give us five subjects, five anything you want.
- 1:08:51Speaker 7: Put them on the wheel. Yeah, spun the wheel. Well stop,
- 1:08:55Speaker 7: just fun. Spun it around as in to be spun around,
- 1:09:00Speaker 7: as in spin.
- 1:09:02Speaker 9: That's totally different. Right now, spun it around. Hit stop.
- 1:09:06Speaker 9: We'll do the damn thing.
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: Here we go, all right.
- 1:09:08Speaker 11: Number one things you say to yourself when you're mad
- 1:09:12Speaker 11: at someone, Like number two, you know it's time to
- 1:09:17Speaker 11: go to the store.
- 1:09:18Speaker 4: When dot dot DoD.
- 1:09:20Speaker 11: Number three stuff you don't like to watch, but you
- 1:09:22Speaker 11: watch it anyway to keep them happy.
- 1:09:25Speaker 10: You know we all know about that or him whatever.
- 1:09:36Speaker 4: Number four.
- 1:09:37Speaker 11: Number four, you know she's not coming back. When okay,
- 1:09:41Speaker 11: number five, people who never chip in.

- 1:10:00Speaker 11: Whoa it came on?
- 1:10:02Speaker 10: Number one.
- 1:10:02Speaker 11: Things you say to yourself when you're mad at someone.
- 1:10:07Speaker 11: To you yourself when you're mad at someone.
- 1:10:12Speaker 7: Oh, here's some things you say to yourself when you
- 1:10:16Speaker 7: mad at somebody. I'm gonna let it go this time,
- 1:10:20Speaker 7: but the next damn time, Oh, it's gonna be hell
- 1:10:23Speaker 7: up on me. Hell it's gonna be hell.
- 1:10:25Speaker 6: This is one I always say to myself when I'm
- 1:10:28Speaker 6: mad at other people.
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: I'm trying not to go.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: Jail, and I'm doing my best.
- 1:10:32Speaker 6: Say I'm doing my best right now, I'm trying not
- 1:10:35Speaker 6: to go to jim.
- 1:10:36Speaker 8: You're really mad.
- 1:10:37Speaker 6: No, no, no, you're mad.
- 1:10:40Speaker 7: Coordinates everything, you know what?
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: You know what?
- 1:10:46Speaker 6: That's all right, drink that water, then I put up
- 1:10:48Speaker 6: in that.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: Drink That all right?
- 1:10:55Speaker 8: Things you say to yourself when you're mad at someone.
- 1:10:57Speaker 17: Steve, go ahead, you better go ahead on now, Jesus,
- 1:11:11Speaker 17: that's all that is.
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: Go ahead.
- 1:11:15Speaker 7: Then you say to yourself when you're mad at somebody, Lord,
- 1:11:20Speaker 7: please work with me, Jesus to work with any please, Father, Father,

- 1:16:48Speaker 11: July Cookout edition?
- 1:16:50Speaker 8: Flats or drums?
- 1:16:51Speaker 11: When it comes to chicken wing, you like the flats
- 1:16:54Speaker 11: or you like the drumsticks, which flat.
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: You don't do that on the four.
- 1:16:57Speaker 6: If you cook the whole damn wing.
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: You know, still you don't break that up like that.
- 1:17:01Speaker 6: You got.
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: Stuff that's that's Super Bowl you talking about with flax
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: and drumming.
- 1:17:08Speaker 6: This is the four.
- 1:17:09Speaker 9: You cooked the whole like flat, period.
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: Yeah, he is telling the truth, he is.
- 1:17:16Speaker 10: I like flats. I don't care what holiday it is,
- 1:17:19Speaker 10: all right?
- 1:17:20Speaker 11: Would you rather dry rub or lots of barbecue sauce?
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: You don't need.
- 1:17:25Speaker 6: Sauce because my my rub is off the chape now.
- 1:17:31Speaker 6: If you're going to do a sauce jen Ira j
- 1:17:36Speaker 6: e Inyen. I are a dot com the hands down
- 1:17:43Speaker 6: best barbecue sauce in the world in a bottle and
- 1:17:48Speaker 6: Ira dot com barbecue sauce. Part of the mild, the medium,
- 1:17:53Speaker 6: and the hot and Lord Hammers. To prepare yourself for
- 1:17:56Speaker 6: the best barbecue. I'm telling you right now.
- 1:17:59Speaker 9: To get in a endorsement.
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: It's better than Williams Brothers. And I thought that was
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: all right.
- 1:18:03Speaker 11: One last one, one last one? Spades or dominoes. Spades
- 1:18:07Speaker 11: are dominoes?
- 1:18:08Speaker 6: Oh either one? You can get hurt. Spade, Oh you
- 1:18:11Speaker 6: gotta go spades because more black people play. But there's
- 1:18:15Speaker 6: some later dominoes.
- 1:18:16Speaker 2: Now it's latest.
- 1:18:18Speaker 11: All right, we'll be back at forty nine minutes after
- 1:18:21Speaker 11: the hour to close out the show.
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: In our last break of the day, right after day.
- 1:18:25Speaker 8: You're listening hard morning show.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: All right, Steve, here we are our last break of
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: the day.
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: It's the last break up the day.
- 1:18:37Speaker 16: Yes it is.
- 1:18:39Speaker 9: What are you doing?
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: It's been a good day though, a good day.
- 1:18:44Speaker 8: Oh you weren't.
- 1:18:45Speaker 11: No, we're so used to it now today I know. Okay,
- 1:18:49Speaker 11: we're so used to it now. Don't spoil us and
- 1:18:51Speaker 11: then try to take it away.
- 1:18:53Speaker 6: Well, Jay started, and then he forgot how I did? Yeah?
- 1:18:56Speaker 6: What started?
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: It's the last break of the day. That's what you're
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: old now, Jay?
- 1:19:02Speaker 8: What's that?
- 1:19:03Speaker 6: Jay?
- 1:19:04Speaker 10: That doesn't move us?
- 1:19:05Speaker 11: But it's been a good Thursday, good Thursday. Yeah, look
- 1:19:09Speaker 11: forward to Friday and.
- 1:19:10Speaker 6: Here we go.
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: Let me do this.
- 1:19:13Speaker 6: You know, I try to say things that are encouraging
- 1:19:18Speaker 6: the people in my clothes remarks to give you some uplift.
- 1:19:24Speaker 6: But what I want to tell you about is in
- 1:19:28Speaker 6: your climb to success.
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: And in your.
- 1:19:34Speaker 6: Desire to become happy and whatever success is to you,
- 1:19:38Speaker 6: It doesn't matter to me. Everybody has to define it
- 1:19:41Speaker 6: for themselves, just like everybody defines happiness for themselves. But
- 1:19:47Speaker 6: if you're trying to build something, if you're trying to
- 1:19:51Speaker 6: get yourself together, if you're trying to go places, I
- 1:19:57Speaker 6: want to just put a couple of things in your head.
- 1:20:01Speaker 6: You've got to be conscious of the people that you
- 1:20:05Speaker 6: surround yourself with. You know, you've all heard the old
- 1:20:09Speaker 6: saying birds of a feather flock together. Association brings on participation.
- 1:20:16Speaker 6: This is just the bottom line truth. Somebody told me
- 1:20:20Speaker 6: one time. They said, Steve, name your five closest friends.
- 1:20:27Speaker 6: Saw I named them. Then he said, describe them as people.
- 1:20:32Speaker 6: And I described them and he said, thank you. He said,
- 1:20:36Speaker 6: now I know what I need to know about you.
- 1:20:38Speaker 6: I said, what do you mean by that? He said,
- 1:20:41Speaker 6: If you name your five closest friends, and then you
- 1:20:44Speaker 6: describe your five closest friends, you have just given me
- 1:20:49Speaker 6: an overall description of you because you pick. You actually
- 1:20:54Speaker 6: get to choose your friends, and you choose your friends
- 1:20:58Speaker 6: for qualities that you like about them. You become friends
- 1:21:02Speaker 6: with people because you have so many things in common.
- 1:21:05Speaker 6: You don't have friends where you have nothing in common.
- 1:21:08Speaker 6: You wouldn't pick them as your friend, would you.
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: No, you wouldn't. And so what happens is in that
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: experiment he gave me, I said, wow.
- 1:21:18Speaker 6: So I started really taking inventory and started thinking about
- 1:21:21Speaker 6: the people that were around me, and I discovered something, man,
- 1:21:24Speaker 6: that was some people around me that really weren't good
- 1:21:27Speaker 6: for me. See, somebody sent me this one time. He said,
- 1:21:31Speaker 6: A dead battery can't jump a dead battery. You gotta
- 1:21:36Speaker 6: get away from people who can't charge your spirit when
- 1:21:39Speaker 6: you need a jump. Uh oh, a dead battery can't
- 1:21:44Speaker 6: jump a dead battery. Get away from people who can't
- 1:21:49Speaker 6: charge your spirit when you need a jump. How many times, man,
- 1:21:54Speaker 6: have you needed some uplift? How many times have you
- 1:21:58Speaker 6: needed a word of encouragement and the person you turn
- 1:22:01Speaker 6: to had nothing for you but more of the same.
- 1:22:05Speaker 6: You need some new people. You can't build an empire
- 1:22:11Speaker 6: when you surround yourself with bulldozers waiting to tear you down.
- 1:22:19Speaker 6: Surround yourself with people who will give you bricks and
- 1:22:23Speaker 6: mortar and build a foundation for success. You got to
- 1:22:27Speaker 6: really get conscious of the people that surround you, because
- 1:22:30Speaker 6: I'm telling y'all, man, they play a role in your life.
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: As long as.
- 1:22:34Speaker 6: They're around you and you are welcoming them in, they
- 1:22:37Speaker 6: play a role in your life. And you may not
- 1:22:40Speaker 6: even have paid it any attention. But little bit by
- 1:22:43Speaker 6: little bit, they either take a piece or they add
- 1:22:46Speaker 6: a piece. So you've got to pay attention who's around you,
- 1:22:50Speaker 6: because you can't build an empire when you surround yourself
- 1:22:52Speaker 6: with bulldos, bulldozers waiting to tear you down. Surround yourself
- 1:22:56Speaker 6: with people who give you bricks and mortar and build
- 1:22:59Speaker 6: a foundation for success. Check it. Just run a check, y'all.
- 1:23:04Speaker 12: Just do this.
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: Just just run inventory.
- 1:23:09Speaker 6: Take a close look at the people you're associating yourself with.
- 1:23:13Speaker 6: And sometimes, man, you just stay friends with people just
- 1:23:16Speaker 6: a little bit too long, just a little bit too long,
- 1:23:21Speaker 6: because some people have stopped being your friend a long
- 1:23:25Speaker 6: time ago. But you're such a committed person, you're such
- 1:23:29Speaker 6: a loyal person that you stay loyal to them long
- 1:23:33Speaker 6: after they stopped being loyal to you. Somebody used to
- 1:23:36Speaker 6: work for me taught me a valuable lesson, and I
- 1:23:39Speaker 6: never forgot it. He said, Oh gee, loyalty has an
- 1:23:45Speaker 6: expiration date. I was telling this to my wife one
- 1:23:50Speaker 6: time at Marjorie. She didn't like that, said she seek,
- 1:23:52Speaker 6: I don't like when you say that, And we were
- 1:23:55Speaker 6: talking and talking to it, and so there was a
- 1:23:57Speaker 6: few years went by. The other day I was talking.
- 1:24:00Speaker 6: She said, you know what's Toeve, I finally understand what
- 1:24:04Speaker 6: you're saying. You're not saying that your loyalty has an
- 1:24:09Speaker 6: expiration date. What you've been trying to tell me is
- 1:24:13Speaker 6: people that I'm trying to stay loyal to have oftentimes
- 1:24:18Speaker 6: stopped being loyal to me. But because I'm a kind person,
- 1:24:22Speaker 6: I've tried to stay loyal to them when they're loyal
- 1:24:25Speaker 6: to for me expired a long time ago. I said,
- 1:24:29Speaker 6: that's all I'm saying. I'm not talking to everybody. I'm
- 1:24:33Speaker 6: telling you as a warning, be conscious of the fact
- 1:24:36Speaker 6: that loyalty has an expiration date, and it usually ain't you,
- 1:24:44Speaker 6: it's usually somebody else. Take an inventory, make sure all
- 1:24:50Speaker 6: the people who once were loyal are still loyal. Make
- 1:24:53Speaker 6: sure that everybody in your life that's a battery can
- 1:24:56Speaker 6: charge you up when your spirit needs a jump. And
- 1:24:59Speaker 6: make sure to the people around you that you're trying
- 1:25:01Speaker 6: to build an empire around are not actually bulldozers trying
- 1:25:05Speaker 6: to tear you down. Those are my closing remarks.
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: Y'all have a great day.
