- 1:31Speaker 3: I can't.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Have to turn the mouth turned.
- 1:43Speaker 3: My probat to turn the mouth out, to turn along
- 1:47Speaker 3: the mony up, come.
- 1:58Speaker 4: Come out your.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody, y'all listening to
- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice, come on.
- 2:08Speaker 4: Dig me now.
- 2:08Speaker 1: One and only Steve Harvey man oh man, got a
- 2:11Speaker 1: radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 2:12Speaker 5: Do God so big to me? Man, I just have
- 2:16Speaker 5: to tell you about it. I can't help it. It's
- 2:19Speaker 5: rather obvious to me how big, how good God is.
- 2:23Speaker 5: He's absolutely tremendous. He's off the chain. He owned one,
- 2:30Speaker 5: he'd be clowning, he'd be just showing out.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Man.
- 2:34Speaker 5: I'm just over here, just on the receiving end. You know,
- 2:38Speaker 5: if you're out there, start your mission today, Start your
- 2:43Speaker 5: mission today?
- 2:45Speaker 4: What are you waiting for? Why do we as people
- 2:50Speaker 4: delay what we want.
- 2:55Speaker 5: Or delay the process to begin what we want? Our hopes,
- 3:01Speaker 5: our dreams, our desires. Why won't you start your mission today?
- 3:06Speaker 5: Why don't we all decide together just individually. Look you listening.
- 3:14Speaker 5: You got something that you've been dreaming about. You got
- 3:17Speaker 5: an ambition of yours that's not yet fulfilled. You got
- 3:20Speaker 5: goals you haven't accomplished yet. Everybody has them, everybody's got
- 3:25Speaker 5: on everybody's got something that's on the table that they
- 3:29Speaker 5: haven't yet attacked yet. What are you waiting for? Start
- 3:33Speaker 5: your mission today? Stop the procrastination. Now, the procrastination is
- 3:38Speaker 5: only hurting you yourself. If you got a goal of
- 3:42Speaker 5: aspiration to dream and you fall off track momentarily, you
- 3:47Speaker 5: can get back to that because God knows where you
- 3:51Speaker 5: left off.
- 3:52Speaker 6: Now.
- 3:52Speaker 5: You may have to accomplish a few more things since
- 3:54Speaker 5: you stopped for a long period of time, but God
- 3:57Speaker 5: knows where you left off, you can get back on track.
- 4:00Speaker 5: I look, man, this dream of being on TV since
- 4:02Speaker 5: I was a kid, and it got off track. Now
- 4:06Speaker 5: it got off track. I just kept it as one
- 4:09Speaker 5: of the dreams, and in some real dog moments when
- 4:12Speaker 5: it looked like it wasn't gonna happen, all I was
- 4:15Speaker 5: hanging on to was just the hope that one day
- 4:18Speaker 5: it could.
- 4:19Speaker 4: But that's what faith is really about. Faith is the
- 4:22Speaker 4: belief in things that you cannot see. But faith gives
- 4:26Speaker 4: you the confidence to keep hoping.
- 4:29Speaker 6: Man.
- 4:29Speaker 5: Sometimes it just keep hope alive. Sometimes you heard Jesse
- 4:33Speaker 5: Jackson say it, just keep hope alive. Sometimes, man, it's
- 4:36Speaker 5: just the hope. I was hanging on a hope, And
- 4:41Speaker 5: I'm talking about when it got real ugly and funky
- 4:44Speaker 5: out there for me, when it looked like I wasn't
- 4:46Speaker 5: gonna ever make it, and all of the facts was
- 4:50Speaker 5: in and everything pointed in the direction you not gonna
- 4:53Speaker 5: make it. You done really messed up this time. Then
- 4:56Speaker 5: I sat there and I just hung on to the hope.
- 5:01Speaker 5: But man, that's what I'm saying. If you got a
- 5:03Speaker 5: dream on aspiration of vision or something, when you fall
- 5:07Speaker 5: off track and you want to go get back in line,
- 5:11Speaker 5: God holds your place.
- 5:12Speaker 6: See.
- 5:13Speaker 1: He held on to that for me.
- 5:15Speaker 5: He knew I was off tracking, out of line, but
- 5:17Speaker 5: he said, Okay, here's where we stopped. You wanna be
- 5:20Speaker 5: on TV now when you get it together and you
- 5:22Speaker 5: quit tripping and you come and your turn to me,
- 5:24Speaker 5: I'm gonna hold your place, put you back in line.
- 5:26Speaker 5: Then we're gonna finish the journey that took me a
- 5:28Speaker 5: lot longer to get here than I wanted to. But
- 5:31Speaker 5: then it was necessary because I needed all of them
- 5:34Speaker 5: mishaps to happen to me along the way. So when
- 5:36Speaker 5: I got on the radio one day, which I did
- 5:39Speaker 5: not see coming, Steve Harvey got a radio show, y'all.
- 5:42Speaker 5: That's why I say it every day. See, because of
- 5:44Speaker 5: this radio show that I didn't see coming. Now I
- 5:47Speaker 5: have stories to tell, I got experiences to share, and
- 5:52Speaker 5: I can tell you about me better I can tell
- 5:54Speaker 5: you about anybody. And I don't been through enough whereas relatable,
- 5:59Speaker 5: where enough people can go mad that happened to me.
- 6:02Speaker 5: Appreciate you saying that that's what it was for. See,
- 6:04Speaker 5: I get it now. See at the time, no, I
- 6:07Speaker 5: didn't like what was happening to me. At the time,
- 6:10Speaker 5: I was really in total disagreement with God on a
- 6:12Speaker 5: lot of stuff he was pulling off on me. But
- 6:15Speaker 5: in essence, I was really pulling it off on myself.
- 6:19Speaker 5: But through his grace and mercy, he kept me through
- 6:21Speaker 5: all of my mistakes, all my bad decisions, all my miscalculations,
- 6:26Speaker 5: all my misfires, all the times I knowingly.
- 6:30Speaker 4: Stepped out there and did wrong.
- 6:32Speaker 5: He forgave me, he said, because mad if you ever
- 6:36Speaker 5: come to me, I have a plan for you that
- 6:40Speaker 5: is going to be far and above. It will supersede
- 6:43Speaker 5: everything you've ever dreamed of. That's what I did. I
- 6:47Speaker 5: just got sick of me, good and sick of me,
- 6:50Speaker 5: and I turned it over to God. And then God
- 6:53Speaker 5: started working and here I am today. Now He threw
- 6:57Speaker 5: it me yet nope, arrived yet nope. But guess what
- 7:03Speaker 5: the journey is cool?
- 7:05Speaker 7: You know.
- 7:05Speaker 5: It's like I was talking to this young brother the
- 7:07Speaker 5: other day about comedy. He's a really good stand up.
- 7:11Speaker 5: You know, this young dude is really good. He said, Man,
- 7:15Speaker 5: what is this I feel every night before I go
- 7:18Speaker 5: on stage. I don't know what it is. I just
- 7:20Speaker 5: want it off me, I said, sir, listen to me,
- 7:23Speaker 5: you young dude. This thing that climbs on my back
- 7:27Speaker 5: every night before I go on stage.
- 7:29Speaker 1: I don't know what it is.
- 7:31Speaker 5: It's got something to do with pressure, It's got something
- 7:34Speaker 5: to do with anticipation.
- 7:35Speaker 4: It's got a whole lot to do with the fear
- 7:37Speaker 4: of falling. He said.
- 7:39Speaker 5: What you mean by that, I say, every night I
- 7:41Speaker 5: walk out on stage, it's like I'm about to go
- 7:44Speaker 5: and step off a cliff. I say, it's a sickening feeling.
- 7:48Speaker 5: He said, Man, but you do so well. I said,
- 7:50Speaker 5: that's because the parachute opens. I say, but I want
- 7:54Speaker 5: you to understand something. When I first walk out there,
- 7:56Speaker 5: it's just stepping off the cliff. Now these jokes provide
- 8:01Speaker 5: a parachute which slows my descent when I jump off
- 8:05Speaker 5: the cliff, and I turned it into a glide. And
- 8:08Speaker 5: then I take the audience this way and I swung
- 8:11Speaker 5: them back over that. That way, we might swing out
- 8:14Speaker 5: to the Colorado Rockies. We may go down to Miami
- 8:17Speaker 5: with this joke. We may take it on out to
- 8:19Speaker 5: LA and I just swing back and forth till I
- 8:22Speaker 5: land softly. The crowd cheers. The night is over with,
- 8:26Speaker 5: I said, but it's been too many nights though. When
- 8:28Speaker 5: I walked off that cliff and I pulled the cord
- 8:30Speaker 5: and the parachute didn't open, I said, naw, I'm just
- 8:33Speaker 5: free falling out there for thirty minutes. Ain't no jokes working.
- 8:37Speaker 5: Ain't the parachute didn't open. I said, So see, that's
- 8:40Speaker 5: what it's like for me. And then you know what
- 8:43Speaker 5: I found out. If you done walked off the cliff
- 8:45Speaker 5: in life and you ain't got no guard in your life.
- 8:49Speaker 5: It's like not having a parachute. You step off the
- 8:53Speaker 5: cliff and you just free falling. Now, I see we
- 8:57Speaker 5: all Now that fog gets you closer to the grave, right, see,
- 9:00Speaker 5: we all heading to the grave from the moment we're born.
- 9:03Speaker 5: But the cool thing about a relationship with God is
- 9:05Speaker 5: when you step off the cliff and you got God
- 9:08Speaker 5: here a parachute.
- 9:09Speaker 4: You still going down, but it's a nice ride, and
- 9:13Speaker 4: God just helps you.
- 9:15Speaker 5: Your dessent appear more like a rise and they're more
- 9:18Speaker 5: like a euphoric fall, instead of not having no God
- 9:22Speaker 5: in your life and you just walking off that cliff
- 9:25Speaker 5: every day, free falling. It ain't got no cord, you
- 9:28Speaker 5: steady pulling, you hollering the whole way because you do
- 9:32Speaker 5: mess around with yourself and ain't let God come into
- 9:34Speaker 5: your life and provide a parachute for you. I would
- 9:38Speaker 5: rather have a parachute since I got to jump every day,
- 9:41Speaker 5: than to not have one. God has been like a
- 9:44Speaker 5: parachute for me. Ask me where that came from. I
- 9:50Speaker 5: can't tell you. But like I always say, most good
- 9:52Speaker 5: things that happen in my life that I can't explain
- 9:55Speaker 5: is usually him.
- 9:57Speaker 8: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Somebody said,
- 10:02Speaker 8: it is Friday, and it is It is Fried Day.

- 11:36Speaker 4: carnation milk?
- 11:38Speaker 1: I was gonna say.
- 11:39Speaker 4: I was gonna say sweet and condensed milk, all.
- 11:46Speaker 6: Right, that carnation milk, that's gonna be. That's gonna be

- 16:24Speaker 7: I understand.

- 16:53Speaker 7: Okay, sir, I have to cut I have to turn
- 16:55Speaker 7: your power off if you're not here. I give everybody
- 16:58Speaker 7: ten minutes, ten minutes where they can pay it or
- 17:00Speaker 7: we can actually turn it off. Now, you tell me
- 17:03Speaker 7: what you want me to do.
- 17:04Speaker 12: I'm gonna call my wife real quick, all right, real quiet.
- 17:06Speaker 7: So I don't have time to call you. I don't.
- 17:08Speaker 7: I don't have time for that.

- 33:07Speaker 13: And if you are a single man, what a job
- 33:10Speaker 13: I'm in. I'm ready jun your you know what I'm saying.
- 33:13Speaker 13: You know it didn't work out. It didn't work out,
- 33:16Speaker 13: But now that I don't have no job, I need
- 33:18Speaker 13: to get with somebody to help pay these bills over here.
- 33:20Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying.
- 33:22Speaker 4: So you falling? Come on, now, you're coming back to
- 33:24Speaker 4: your original crab and you always had it.
- 33:26Speaker 1: You never let it go.
- 33:27Speaker 4: You're still gun.
- 33:28Speaker 6: Come on, You're just coming back to a different platform
- 33:32Speaker 6: where you where you started your roots.
- 33:34Speaker 13: Oh absolutely, you know, speaking of roots, I do need
- 33:37Speaker 13: somebody to help me chip in and dye his hair.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Because it's growing faster than I thought.
- 33:43Speaker 13: I'm on this biotead right now, and it's coming in faster.
- 33:47Speaker 13: I thought it's still thin. It's just growing longer. And
- 33:50Speaker 13: so Nash me, oh, we are you talking about those roots.
- 33:57Speaker 4: This way?
- 33:58Speaker 7: I knew it.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Surely I knew I was getting ready to not have.
- 34:01Speaker 13: Money when I start buying Amazon synthetic wigs, so I
- 34:07Speaker 13: don't mess up all this good show here I got
- 34:10Speaker 13: because I'm trying to get back on TV show The Strawberries.
- 34:13Speaker 13: But you know, when I'm out doing these road gigs,
- 34:16Speaker 13: you know I can't be curling. They'll McDonald got three
- 34:20Speaker 13: Daytime Emmys as a glam to my one, and he's
- 34:23Speaker 13: the best glam man. But I'm learning how to do
- 34:26Speaker 13: my own glam. That's why you can't record me on
- 34:28Speaker 13: the road. It's not that I don't want these jokes recorded,
- 34:30Speaker 13: which I don't.
- 34:31Speaker 1: It's the fact I'll be.
- 34:33Speaker 13: Looking pretty together sort of because I'm doing it myself.
- 34:36Speaker 4: But what was we talking about? Oh, comedy routs.
- 34:38Speaker 13: Okay, I'm in all comedy clubs. I'm doing every comedy.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Club I can. And I love the fact that meet Tommy.
- 34:45Speaker 13: Listen, they better get there early because we going in
- 34:48Speaker 13: and out of everybody and I'm still cussing.
- 34:51Speaker 1: Saints, start praying right now.
- 34:53Speaker 6: This is a.
- 34:54Speaker 1: Cavalcade of cussing. Cavalcade. Shut scruberries, Cheryl. Yes, yes, you
- 35:02Speaker 1: look good. I have to say that.
- 35:04Speaker 4: I have to say that you look good, you look healthy,
- 35:07Speaker 4: you look happy.
- 35:09Speaker 9: I'm so glad to see you, know you. Yeah, you're
- 35:13Speaker 9: really really do and I want to congratulate you on that.
- 35:15Speaker 9: And you know, and I like your attitude about you know,
- 35:18Speaker 9: your show coming to an end.
- 35:20Speaker 1: All of that.
- 35:20Speaker 4: You look great and good.
- 35:22Speaker 1: Something else fum me describer, absolutely, yes, God, something else?
- 35:26Speaker 1: Fum me. He gave it to me seasons fifteen seasons.
- 35:30Speaker 13: Yeah, when to CBS for me to be on CBS
- 35:34Speaker 13: for the jokes you're about to hear at the njpack,
- 35:36Speaker 13: you'd be like she on Daytime TV every day with
- 35:39Speaker 13: that mouth.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Yes, I just knew just and control. But here's the
- 35:43Speaker 1: other thing too.
- 35:44Speaker 13: I want to thank everybody and thank you Shirley for
- 35:46Speaker 13: seeing that I am healthy. I'm very happy.
- 35:49Speaker 7: You know.
- 35:50Speaker 13: My body's doing good, praise God. My family's doing well.
- 35:54Speaker 6: You know.
- 35:55Speaker 1: I get to see everybody. Yes, I get to see
- 35:57Speaker 1: everybody out on the road.
- 35:59Speaker 13: But here's the catch to this and looking tood the role.
- 36:02Speaker 13: When you get older, you gotta be in shape. So
- 36:04Speaker 13: I'm on my little exercise bike, you know, and trying
- 36:07Speaker 13: to get yourself together and drink water. Now I'm still drinking.
- 36:10Speaker 2: So when you come up to me, now, my skin't
- 36:14Speaker 2: gonna be dry, Julian, my limp's gonna.
- 36:16Speaker 4: Be just a little bit chat because I'm I'm still drinking.
- 36:20Speaker 1: But I'm doing every comedy club in the nation. I'm
- 36:23Speaker 1: doing every road.
- 36:24Speaker 13: Gig because I got a stock up for retirement and
- 36:27Speaker 13: especially for women. Now, that's one thing I think we
- 36:29Speaker 13: need to talk about healthcare, retirement, and I will be
- 36:34Speaker 13: talking about this election and what I feel is happening
- 36:37Speaker 13: out out here in the country, and I think I
- 36:41Speaker 13: think a lot of us didn't do what we were
- 36:43Speaker 13: supposed to do because we think we're gonna get a
- 36:45Speaker 13: better deal from a captain, combover, commander and Cheetah.
- 36:50Speaker 1: You know, yeah, yeah, do y'all want to talk about that?
- 36:55Speaker 7: Y'all want?
- 36:55Speaker 1: Can I stay and we talk a little whit when
- 36:57Speaker 1: we come back.
- 36:57Speaker 6: Let's talk about that. We talked about anything you want
- 36:59Speaker 6: to talk about when we come back.
- 37:00Speaker 4: We'll be right back.
- 37:01Speaker 6: We got more of Sheryl Underwood in the building when
- 37:04Speaker 6: we come back.
- 37:05Speaker 4: You're listening the Sie Morning Show.

- 37:42Speaker 6: We are back and our special guests are still here,
- 37:44Speaker 6: the one and only erl Underwood. Shall you still good?
- 37:47Speaker 8: Yes?
- 37:47Speaker 13: I am very very happy, but I'm very unhappy about
- 37:50Speaker 13: what happened in this election. I'm glad y'all letting me
- 37:53Speaker 13: say talk about this. What do y'all think happen? What
- 37:57Speaker 13: did y'all think happen?
- 37:58Speaker 4: I don't think everybody got out of the vote.
- 38:00Speaker 5: I don't.
- 38:01Speaker 1: I really don't.
- 38:02Speaker 4: I don't.
- 38:02Speaker 7: We did.
- 38:04Speaker 6: We pushed it, We pushed it and pushed it every
- 38:06Speaker 6: single day, but I just don't.
- 38:08Speaker 4: I don't know. You thought I hear about men, black
- 38:11Speaker 4: men not wanting to vote. I heard that.
- 38:13Speaker 6: I don't know how true that is. White women voted
- 38:17Speaker 6: for Trump, you know, I mean the list goes on
- 38:19Speaker 6: and on. Hispanics is well.
- 38:28Speaker 13: First, I think we found out the importance of black media,
- 38:32Speaker 13: black radio, black newspapers, even.
- 38:36Speaker 1: Black social media.
- 38:38Speaker 13: You know, black people do not believe that Jesus is
- 38:40Speaker 13: coming back until we hear it on the Steve.
- 38:42Speaker 2: Harvey Morning Show, you know. So you've got to put
- 38:45Speaker 2: those resources.
- 38:46Speaker 13: Into black media and strengthen that and black Greek letter organizations,
- 38:50Speaker 13: black churches, and black civil rights organizations.
- 38:53Speaker 4: We did what we needed to do.
- 38:54Speaker 13: She got a larger percentage of the black male vote.
- 38:57Speaker 13: I think all of this was propaganda to say, oh,
- 39:00Speaker 13: the black men are not voting for her.
- 39:02Speaker 1: No brothers voted in solidarity.
- 39:05Speaker 13: It was just not enough of us in the turnout,
- 39:07Speaker 13: especially in the battleground states, you know, because these margins
- 39:10Speaker 13: were really small, and if you notice Democrats were voted
- 39:13Speaker 13: in in places where she was the campaign. Let me
- 39:17Speaker 13: not say she because she did a phenomenal job in
- 39:20Speaker 13: these realizes. He been running for eight years, she was
- 39:23Speaker 13: running for three months, and people have stepped aside. That's
- 39:27Speaker 13: right if people have stepped aside, But surely let me
- 39:29Speaker 13: just say what I feel now again, I think that
- 39:33Speaker 13: just like with Hillary's, they did not come together, and
- 39:36Speaker 13: we're gonna say they because we know what percentage did
- 39:39Speaker 13: not join us in the vote. And I mean we
- 39:41Speaker 13: could talk about things that should have would have cut up.
- 39:43Speaker 13: But a lot of people about to and find out.
- 39:46Speaker 13: They about to blank and find out because.
- 39:49Speaker 2: He's got the House, he's got the Senate, he's got
- 39:52Speaker 2: every branch of government, he's got everything.
- 39:55Speaker 1: He's got unchecked out.
- 39:57Speaker 13: Oh my god, matter of fact, Puffy and Hell going
- 40:00Speaker 13: high to hell.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Do know where I get this.
- 40:05Speaker 13: I think Puffy gonna get out of his hell because
- 40:06Speaker 13: Trump is on them tapes. That's what I say is
- 40:09Speaker 13: I think Trump is right up in there. He's gonna
- 40:11Speaker 13: save He.
- 40:13Speaker 4: Ain't sure before we before we go, did you see
- 40:15Speaker 4: the fight? Did you see the mic? Say some fight?
- 40:17Speaker 2: First of all, I need Mike Tyson to call me
- 40:19Speaker 2: because when he turned around and all that old show
- 40:23Speaker 2: Mike Tyson see, I thought he was gonna walk out
- 40:26Speaker 2: with his crew and do Redman time for some action.
- 40:29Speaker 1: When he walked out Bicep, I said, oh, this ain't
- 40:30Speaker 1: looking good. This ain't this ain't looking good.
- 40:32Speaker 13: But then in the free fight where he turned around
- 40:35Speaker 13: and show that Mike Tyson, boy, let me.
- 40:36Speaker 1: I let you come on, and I ain't scared of you.
- 40:40Speaker 1: Mike Tyson.
- 40:40Speaker 4: Listen to me.
- 40:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna have you up there making pancakes with little April.
- 40:43Speaker 13: He's gonna be cooking buck nigger like bing range on
- 40:45Speaker 13: baby boy, Come on, Mike Tyson.
- 40:48Speaker 6: We love Underwood for that's Mentell Dominique will be in
- 40:52Speaker 6: the building November thirties, Saturday Night, New Jersey packed everybody
- 40:56Speaker 6: in the Tri State tickets on sale right now. Thank
- 40:58Speaker 6: you Shure.
- 40:59Speaker 4: Oh yeah, we love you, Cheryl Love You're back. You
- 41:04Speaker 4: you're listening Morning show. We will be cooking our own Wii.
- 41:10Speaker 9: We'll be cooking our own Thanksgiving dinner this year, Thank goodness.
- 41:14Speaker 4: But that don't you ever put a Wii on no food.
- 41:22Speaker 4: I didn't put a Wii on it. Anyway.
- 41:27Speaker 9: We're gonna be cooking our own Thanksgiving dinner this year,
- 41:30Speaker 9: Thank goodness. But what about those people guys that when
- 41:34Speaker 9: you have a potluck dinner where everyone in the family
- 41:37Speaker 9: is supposed to bring a dish, you know, someone brings
- 41:39Speaker 9: a potato salad, someone brings a dressing, someone brings.
- 41:42Speaker 4: A mac and cheese.
- 41:43Speaker 1: You know, So what are some of the dues and
- 41:46Speaker 1: don'ts that they need to know before they even start
- 41:49Speaker 1: making their dishes?
- 41:50Speaker 4: Their plate picked in their plate?
- 41:55Speaker 2: Tell you what I'll tell you when we were back.
- 41:57Speaker 2: Don't bring nothing to hit with raisins in it, period, Hey.
- 42:01Speaker 1: Man, yes, uh, potato salad, desserts, nothing, sweet potato salad. Nothing.
- 42:12Speaker 4: Here's what I like though.
- 42:14Speaker 6: If you handling food, you know there's a lot of
- 42:18Speaker 6: people eating and you put some gloves on.
- 42:20Speaker 4: If you're handling.
- 42:21Speaker 6: Food, that's all just and and if you're serving this,
- 42:27Speaker 6: come one.
- 42:29Speaker 1: Fancy now, love all and wash your meat, wash your turkey,
- 42:36Speaker 1: and get that that bag out of the cavity and
- 42:40Speaker 1: wash that.
- 42:41Speaker 4: Don't just take that out the bag and put it
- 42:43Speaker 4: in the pot. I don't use that bag. I throw
- 42:45Speaker 4: that bag in the tray. I don't do that. Yeah,
- 42:48Speaker 4: I mean, well, if you do, you still got it.
- 42:50Speaker 4: You know, some people don't wash it. They think the
- 42:53Speaker 4: heat will kill it. Meat.
- 42:56Speaker 1: Let's talk about this. We talked about the.
- 42:58Speaker 6: Meat, you know.
- 42:59Speaker 1: Let's get to these greens. And where are we washing
- 43:02Speaker 1: these greens in the tube? In the tub, not.
- 43:11Speaker 4: The other side of that saint. We can watch them
- 43:14Speaker 4: over there.
- 43:16Speaker 1: That makes me ill when I see that. It's like
- 43:20Speaker 1: I've seen and childlings. Come on, now, I don't.
- 43:26Speaker 4: Eat social media. Well you're not eating nothing where in
- 43:31Speaker 4: the tub.
- 43:33Speaker 1: Just too much. Now, your greens taste like ol nush.
- 43:40Speaker 4: That's the next foot pop right.
- 43:43Speaker 7: So.
- 43:44Speaker 4: Yes, fish washing liquid? Is that not even bunny was taste?
- 43:55Speaker 4: That's not right, it's not right. And don't burn the rolls.
- 44:00Speaker 6: Do not do that.
- 44:01Speaker 4: Don't burn the rolls. Don't don't dry out the turkey.
- 44:08Speaker 6: If you if you, if you're making a turkey, or
- 44:09Speaker 6: if you're smoking a turkey, whatever it is, don't dry them.
- 44:12Speaker 4: Don't dry the meat out.
- 44:13Speaker 1: It's a skill enough on its own, right, Yeah, that's
- 44:16Speaker 1: what I'm saying. It's a skill to keeping it moist
- 44:20Speaker 1: and hot and not drying it out. So you gotta really,
- 44:24Speaker 1: I think that's how you burn the rolls. I think
- 44:27Speaker 1: you're exhausted after cooking everything else, and then you put
- 44:31Speaker 1: the rolls on, and then you forget and then you
- 44:34Speaker 1: burn the roll Oh I'm the only one. That's the
- 44:39Speaker 1: time where, yeah, you gotta set I'm the only one
- 44:42Speaker 1: burnt rolls on this shell.
- 44:47Speaker 4: You know I don't cook, so whatever.
- 44:50Speaker 6: I know, I can't.
- 44:51Speaker 4: I know I can't say this color. Well, I wash
- 44:54Speaker 4: my meat and I keep it moist.
- 44:58Speaker 1: Your turkey meat. I hate you on Thanksgiving and every
- 45:02Speaker 1: other day for saying that.
- 45:07Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah it was, it was the perfect time.
- 45:14Speaker 1: What else? What else would I hot loup?
- 45:17Speaker 4: Sweet potatoes?
- 45:18Speaker 9: Okay, there's some rules to sweet potatoes now and jams.
- 45:22Speaker 4: Okay, what are the rules?
- 45:24Speaker 1: No marshmalls, you put on boo, You're the only Now
- 45:33Speaker 1: you are the only one whatever?
- 45:37Speaker 4: And yeah, look like they couch something like that, overthinking it.
- 45:44Speaker 2: Let me tell you right now, if you bring a
- 45:46Speaker 2: green bean cassurole in here, you're gonna leave with that
- 45:48Speaker 2: green bean cassual nobody's eating that.
- 45:52Speaker 1: I'm sick of that. Hey, Happy Thanksgiving? Coming up next
- 45:57Speaker 1: to nephew and today's preak phone call. Right after this,
- 46:01Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 46:05Speaker 9: Coming up at about four minutes after the hour. It's
- 46:08Speaker 9: my strawberry letter for today and the subject is I'm
- 46:11Speaker 9: tired of sneaking around with her. Okay, we'll get us
- 46:15Speaker 9: that find out what that's all about in just a
- 46:16Speaker 9: few because right now the nephew is here with today's
- 46:20Speaker 9: prank phone call. What you got for its new Sure.
- 46:22Speaker 6: We go head on down to the church. And all right,
- 46:28Speaker 6: that's right here. It is called God's Ministry. Okay, God's
- 46:36Speaker 6: uh ministry.
- 46:38Speaker 4: All right, All mine's Clia. All right here we go,
- 46:42Speaker 4: cat dog. If you would hello, Hello, I'm trying to
- 46:46Speaker 4: reach Clarence.
- 46:47Speaker 6: Clarence. How you doing, Clarence? This is stattyst Man. I'm
- 46:52Speaker 6: over at the church, man, my Baptist church. Where you
- 46:55Speaker 6: a member of right. Oh yeah, hey, okay, Hey, I'm
- 47:00Speaker 6: the gyms man and uh you you you actually came
- 47:03Speaker 6: to uh this past service. Correct gyms the gyms that's
- 47:08Speaker 6: that's uh God's eyes missionary and and basically what we
- 47:14Speaker 6: do is we watch what's going on, you know in
- 47:17Speaker 6: the in the church, who's coming, who hasn't come? And uh,
- 47:22Speaker 6: you know, I don't mean any harm, but this this
- 47:24Speaker 6: if my records indicate me right, uh through my God's
- 47:29Speaker 6: eyes ministry the gyms looking at my books, looks like
- 47:32Speaker 6: you this is your first time at.
- 47:34Speaker 4: The church this year? Correct?
- 47:36Speaker 10: Yeah, I mean what can I do for you?
- 47:39Speaker 4: Okay?
- 47:39Speaker 6: Now when Pastor asked for all the visitors to stand,
- 47:42Speaker 6: you actually did not stand, correct because you remember there
- 47:47Speaker 6: we go. Now you you still work for uh you
- 47:51Speaker 6: you work for them. Yeah okay, Now what we've done
- 47:54Speaker 6: is we've averaged it out that you.
- 47:56Speaker 11: What I mean, what is this about?
- 47:59Speaker 4: Okay, I'm on my way to it.
- 48:00Speaker 6: So so you probably are you averaging about what between
- 48:05Speaker 6: forty and fifty thousand dollars on a yearly basis over there.
- 48:07Speaker 12: With I mean, yeah, something like that.
- 48:10Speaker 11: But go ahead, problem.
- 48:13Speaker 4: See what we're looking at.
- 48:14Speaker 6: Since you are member, because see you did not stand
- 48:16Speaker 6: when he said all members said, see you did not
- 48:19Speaker 6: stand up, which which you right there are making the
- 48:22Speaker 6: you know, you're you're you're clarifying that you are a member,
- 48:25Speaker 6: and you're making about we're gonna roughly say about forty
- 48:28Speaker 6: five thousand dollars a year, which means ten percent is
- 48:31Speaker 6: forty five hundred. Now we looked at the we looked
- 48:34Speaker 6: at the books and noticed that you put in fifty
- 48:38Speaker 6: dollars in the church on this past Easter on Sunday.
- 48:41Speaker 4: Now, if you put fifty dollars in, you know we're close.
- 48:45Speaker 6: See when you're gonna start cutting into this forty five
- 48:48Speaker 6: hundred dollars that you are to.
- 48:49Speaker 4: Be paying your tithes?
- 48:51Speaker 11: Wait, what's your name?
- 48:53Speaker 6: Like I said, sir, my name is Thadyus status. Will
- 48:56Speaker 6: a man rob God? Yet you have robbed me? Well
- 48:58Speaker 6: in tied that would offer See you you.
- 49:00Speaker 10: You you are wait a minut Hold on a second.
- 49:03Speaker 10: You got you got all this stuff going on to
- 49:05Speaker 10: the church. You you got uh, you got hungry people,
- 49:09Speaker 10: you got people that need salvation and whatever. But you're
- 49:12Speaker 10: calling me about about some money that I haven't given
- 49:15Speaker 10: to the church.
- 49:16Speaker 11: Well, well, see and that's what your ministry does, y'all.
- 49:19Speaker 10: Y'all spend all morning calling people.
- 49:22Speaker 6: My job, sir, as a gym God's Eyes ministry, my
- 49:27Speaker 6: job is to keep an eye on what's going on
- 49:30Speaker 6: at the church. Now, when are you gonna start cutting
- 49:33Speaker 6: into your tie? You forty five hundred dollars a day?
- 49:36Speaker 6: We see, this is why we can't get the extra
- 49:38Speaker 6: wing that pastor wants to put on, because people like him.

- 56:24Speaker 1: Put your hands together for my girl, Shirley Strawberry.
- 56:27Speaker 9: All right, subject, thank you, junior. Subject, I'm tired of
- 56:34Speaker 9: sneaking around with her. Here Stephen Shirley. I'm a twenty
- 56:37Speaker 9: seven year old single man, and I would love to
- 56:39Speaker 9: stop sneaking around with the love of my life. I've
- 56:42Speaker 9: been friends with my secret lover for twenty years, and
- 56:45Speaker 9: our parents are best friends. Our families did everything together
- 56:49Speaker 9: for over twenty years, but they have no idea about
- 56:53Speaker 9: our secret romance. She and I have been best friends
- 56:56Speaker 9: since we were seven. By the time we turned thirteen,
- 57:00Speaker 9: she was blossoming into a woman, and I liked it.
- 57:04Speaker 9: She was curious about my body and I enjoyed caressing hers.
- 57:07Speaker 9: When she let me on her seventeenth birthday, she told
- 57:11Speaker 9: me she was ready to have sex and she wanted
- 57:13Speaker 9: me to be her first. That was the moment I
- 57:17Speaker 9: had been waiting for so we both had sex for
- 57:20Speaker 9: the first time. I fell in love with her by
- 57:23Speaker 9: the time I was eighteen.
- 57:25Speaker 1: We continue to secretly have sex throughout college, and now
- 57:29Speaker 1: that we're grown, she still likes to sneak around with me.
- 57:33Speaker 9: I've dated other girls, but no other woman compares to her.
- 57:37Speaker 9: I have asked her to be my girlfriend so many times,
- 57:40Speaker 9: but she is afraid of what her parents will think.
- 57:43Speaker 9: She's been dating a guy for almost two years and
- 57:46Speaker 9: we still have sex often.
- 57:48Speaker 4: But we still have sex often.
- 57:50Speaker 1: She's told me that she's not had sex with him,
- 57:52Speaker 1: and I believed her until recently, when she told me
- 57:55Speaker 1: that he's talking about marriage. My heart started beating fast
- 57:59Speaker 1: and panicked and poured out all of my feelings to
- 58:02Speaker 1: her and said I wanted to be with her and
- 58:05Speaker 1: marry her. She said we could never be together because
- 58:09Speaker 1: although we are not blood relatives, our families are linked
- 58:13Speaker 1: so closely it's like we're related. I yelled at her
- 58:17Speaker 1: that I don't make love to my relatives. Why won't
- 58:21Speaker 1: she give us a chance. I don't want to lose
- 58:24Speaker 1: her for good, So what should I do? Wow, you
- 58:28Speaker 1: don't want to lose her for good? Well? She's gone.
- 58:31Speaker 1: I mean, you've already lost her. She never wanted you
- 58:36Speaker 1: for anything more than a side piece anyway. Everything was
- 58:39Speaker 1: always in secret. Okay, she's never given you any reason
- 58:43Speaker 1: to think otherwise. All you have to do is listen
- 58:46Speaker 1: to her and read between her lines. You are her
- 58:48Speaker 1: side piece, her jump off, her play thing, and that's it.
- 58:53Speaker 1: I mean, there are clues throughout the letter. You say,
- 58:57Speaker 1: now that we're grown, she still likes to sneak around
- 58:59Speaker 1: with you. Yeah, she wants to keep you a secret.
- 59:01Speaker 1: She won't date you because she's afraid of what her
- 59:04Speaker 1: parents might think. Really, but she's grown. You just said
- 59:09Speaker 1: you guys are grown. You've told her you want to
- 59:13Speaker 1: be with her and you want to marry her. Still
- 59:16Speaker 1: nothing from her, nothing. She's thinking about marrying some other guy.
- 59:19Speaker 1: She said, you guys could never be together because your relatives.
- 59:24Speaker 4: Excuse after excuse after excuse.
- 59:27Speaker 1: With this one, she knows you're not related, but she's
- 59:31Speaker 1: using that so she can keep things as they are,
- 59:34Speaker 1: so you can be her little secret.
- 59:36Speaker 9: Okay, you know she just wants you for sex. I
- 59:41Speaker 9: hope you know that. And because you're in love with her,
- 59:45Speaker 9: you just keep giving her what you want. What she
- 59:47Speaker 9: wants whenever she wants it, which means she gets to
- 59:51Speaker 9: have you and her fiance.
- 59:52Speaker 4: She gets her cake in she can eat it too.
- 59:56Speaker 4: Who is this woman?
- 59:58Speaker 9: I mean, what is this old on us she has?
- 1:00:01Speaker 9: You got to move on from her, you do. I
- 1:00:03Speaker 9: know you've dated other women, but you can't stop comparing
- 1:00:06Speaker 9: them to her.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: You got to stop that. That's the way you move on.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: I mean you got to step back and take a
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: look at what's really what's really going on here? I
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: just say, wake up, stay woke. After you wake up
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: from this dream you're in about her, then maybe hopefully
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: you'll stop being her little you know, secret, her little
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: guinea pig, her little plaything, and you can.
- 1:00:28Speaker 4: Move on from there.
- 1:00:29Speaker 5: Steve one hundred percent completely disagree. Hell boy, come on now,
- 1:00:41Speaker 5: this opportunity pilp. Don't uh let me walk you through
- 1:00:46Speaker 5: this thing. I'm tired of sneak it around with her.
- 1:00:51Speaker 5: Twenty seven year old single man, you want to stop
- 1:00:54Speaker 5: sneaking around with the love of your life?
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: What come on?
- 1:00:59Speaker 5: Don't how many women are dying to hear that. That's
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: why I know we got a chance here. I've been
- 1:01:06Speaker 5: friends with my secret lovel for over twenty years. I
- 1:01:09Speaker 5: didn't know what the hell was going on here. Seven
- 1:01:13Speaker 5: three best friends, our family did everything together for twenty years,
- 1:01:16Speaker 5: but they had no idea about our secret romance.
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: Now this wasn't.
- 1:01:20Speaker 5: Let her take a little bit of a delusional turn.
- 1:01:23Speaker 5: She and I have been best friends since we were seven.
- 1:01:26Speaker 5: By the time we turned thirteen, she was blossoming into
- 1:01:30Speaker 5: a woman.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: Dog don't, no, she wasn't.
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: Doggie.
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: No, she wasn't Shellie. You was flat chesty.
- 1:01:45Speaker 4: Okay, keep with thirteen.
- 1:01:48Speaker 5: Yeah, look at Monica over there shaking her head. This
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: line healthy.
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: Let she say that.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: By the time and she was timed to third she
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: was blossoming to the woman and I like it.
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: Dog No, she wouldn't.
- 1:02:03Speaker 5: She was cursed about my body and I enjoyed Carress
- 1:02:06Speaker 5: and Harrison. On seventeenth birthday, she was ready to have sex.
- 1:02:09Speaker 5: She wanted me to be her first. She will get
- 1:02:13Speaker 5: That was the moment I had been waiting for. I
- 1:02:17Speaker 5: do so we both had sex for the first time.
- 1:02:21Speaker 5: I fell in love with her by the time I
- 1:02:23Speaker 5: was eighteen. We secretly had sex throughout college and now
- 1:02:28Speaker 5: we've grown. She still likes to sneak around with me
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: I've dated other girls, but no other woman come pass
- 1:02:33Speaker 5: to her.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: I've asked her to.
- 1:02:35Speaker 5: Be my girlfriend many times, but she's afraid of what
- 1:02:37Speaker 5: her parents will think when we come back.
- 1:02:40Speaker 4: Well, wait fin to get down.
- 1:02:42Speaker 9: We'll have part two of Steve's response to the Strawberry
- 1:02:45Speaker 9: letter coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour

- 1:24:33Speaker 6: break of the day. It's been a crazy day as
- 1:24:36Speaker 6: usual the time we like, right Ash, and here's our
- 1:24:41Speaker 6: fearless leader to take us home. With closing remarks.
- 1:24:44Speaker 5: Today, I just want to pose a question because I
- 1:24:47Speaker 5: try to find different ways to motivate people as as
- 1:24:54Speaker 5: I ask God to help me find new ways. Today
- 1:24:59Speaker 5: I just to try this. I just want to ask
- 1:25:02Speaker 5: you a series of questions because I'm just trying to
- 1:25:04Speaker 5: get everybody to get to moving towards their dreams. I'm
- 1:25:08Speaker 5: just trying to get everybody to get started on the
- 1:25:11Speaker 5: pathway of accomplishing your visions and your goals and your dreams.
- 1:25:16Speaker 5: It's gonna take some action, though. You know, you can't
- 1:25:19Speaker 5: just want something. Have you ever heard people say if
- 1:25:22Speaker 5: you want something bad enough, it'll happen. That's not true.
- 1:25:27Speaker 5: That's that's so not true. Do you know how many
- 1:25:31Speaker 5: times you've actually wanted something really bad and didn't get it?
- 1:25:36Speaker 7: What?
- 1:25:37Speaker 4: Who?
- 1:25:38Speaker 5: I don't know who said that? Why they tell people
- 1:25:40Speaker 5: that if you want something bad enough, it'll really happen.
- 1:25:43Speaker 5: It can happen, No, it won't. It requires an action.
- 1:25:46Speaker 5: Faith without works is dead. If you don't do anything,
- 1:25:51Speaker 5: you can't stop expecting to get everything. If you don't
- 1:25:55Speaker 5: do anything, you can stop expecting to get everything. Going
- 1:26:00Speaker 5: to give all of us some grace in spite of
- 1:26:03Speaker 5: our shortcomings and lack of effort. He will give all
- 1:26:05Speaker 5: of us some grace, and we'll all get some things
- 1:26:08Speaker 5: that we really don't deserve.
- 1:26:11Speaker 6: You know.
- 1:26:11Speaker 5: It just provides us breaks. But in those breaks, he's
- 1:26:15Speaker 5: trying to sustain you, just to get you to say, wow, man,
- 1:26:18Speaker 5: if I had just done a little bit more of
- 1:26:20Speaker 5: what could I have had, or if I had done
- 1:26:22Speaker 5: a little bit more of what could have happened. So
- 1:26:24Speaker 5: my question today for you is just I'm asking you
- 1:26:28Speaker 5: a series of very very simple questions, maybe four or five.
- 1:26:33Speaker 5: You're waiting for.
- 1:26:34Speaker 7: What?
- 1:26:36Speaker 5: Tell me what is it you're waiting for? Because oftentimes
- 1:26:39Speaker 5: when I talk to people, I get some responses that
- 1:26:42Speaker 5: just throw me off, you know, because you're waiting for
- 1:26:47Speaker 5: what what is it going to take to get you started?
- 1:26:53Speaker 5: What is the motivation? What is the button? What is
- 1:26:56Speaker 5: the trigger that fires you to get going to moving
- 1:27:00Speaker 5: towards your dreams and visions? You're waiting for what? I
- 1:27:05Speaker 5: don't understand? Are you perfectly comfortable where you are right now?
- 1:27:11Speaker 5: Have you decided and settled in that this is it
- 1:27:14Speaker 5: for me? Have you gotten tired of waking up and
- 1:27:18Speaker 5: asking the question, whow it's gotta be more to my
- 1:27:21Speaker 5: life than this?
- 1:27:23Speaker 7: What?
- 1:27:24Speaker 5: Have you just gotten tired of that and you don't
- 1:27:26Speaker 5: want to deal with it no more? So you just
- 1:27:28Speaker 5: decided what that? You're just gonna lock in like where
- 1:27:32Speaker 5: I am?
- 1:27:32Speaker 4: Is cool?
- 1:27:34Speaker 5: You all right with that? Let me ask you another question.
- 1:27:39Speaker 5: Have all the ducks ever lined up in a row?
- 1:27:43Speaker 5: Because if that's what you're waiting for, let me just
- 1:27:47Speaker 5: ask you, has it ever been set there? While I
- 1:27:51Speaker 5: see how exactly step by step, I'm gonna get down
- 1:27:54Speaker 5: and get that everything is perfect. I'm gonna start now.
- 1:27:57Speaker 5: If you're waiting on the perfect time to start, you
- 1:28:00Speaker 5: may never start, because there is no such a thing
- 1:28:03Speaker 5: as the perfect time. The perfect time is now. That's
- 1:28:10Speaker 5: the perfect time. If you're waiting on something else to happen,
- 1:28:14Speaker 5: it probably ain't gonna happen because you gotta figure like this.
- 1:28:16Speaker 5: Suppose it don't happen what you're gonna do, then she
- 1:28:20Speaker 5: just gotta come to that conclusion. Suppose it don't happen
- 1:28:23Speaker 5: what you're gonna do. Then suppose you don't get the
- 1:28:26Speaker 5: degree what you're gonna do, then you're gonna fail. Suppose
- 1:28:29Speaker 5: you don't get that job that you got your eyes on.
- 1:28:32Speaker 5: So you don't get that job. So now what you
- 1:28:34Speaker 5: unemployed the rest of your life because you didn't meet
- 1:28:39Speaker 5: that deadline. You can't make another one. You're waiting for.
- 1:28:45Speaker 5: What what's it gonna take to get you started? Have
- 1:28:49Speaker 5: your ducks ever all lined up in a row? The
- 1:28:52Speaker 5: answer is no. The perfect time to start is now.
- 1:28:57Speaker 5: Let me ask you this question. Does it appear to
- 1:28:59Speaker 5: be getting any closer even though you're not moving towards it? Uh?
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: Oh?
- 1:29:07Speaker 5: Does it appear to be getting any closer even though
- 1:29:11Speaker 5: you're not moving towards it? The answer is no, it's
- 1:29:18Speaker 5: not getting closer because you're not walking towards anything. If
- 1:29:24Speaker 5: you don't walk towards something, please stop expecting it to
- 1:29:28Speaker 5: get closer. It will not happen. Success is not a
- 1:29:33Speaker 5: magic trick. It's a series of steps that people take
- 1:29:37Speaker 5: over and over and over and over, and in spite
- 1:29:41Speaker 5: of what happens, they take those steps. Anyway, Does it
- 1:29:45Speaker 5: appear to be getting closer even though you're not moving
- 1:29:49Speaker 5: towards it? It's probably not. But could that be why
- 1:29:56Speaker 5: you're not getting what you want because you ain't moving
- 1:29:58Speaker 5: towards nothing? Last question? Could it be that you just
- 1:30:05Speaker 5: don't want anything more? Maybe that's it. Maybe you don't
- 1:30:11Speaker 5: quit wanting a new car, Maybe you don't quit want
- 1:30:15Speaker 5: in a bigger house. Maybe you don't quit wanting that
- 1:30:18Speaker 5: second home. Maybe you quit wanting to open up a business.
- 1:30:23Speaker 5: Is it that you just don't want anymore? Just answer
- 1:30:27Speaker 5: to these questions? Now let me tell you all of
- 1:30:29Speaker 5: y'all so put God in your life and it can
- 1:30:32Speaker 5: change all it is. You can go to God and
- 1:30:35Speaker 5: ask God to strengthen you. You can go to God
- 1:30:39Speaker 5: right now and ask God to give you the desires
- 1:30:42Speaker 5: of your heart, but enable you with the character to
- 1:30:46Speaker 5: make them come true. Ask God to strengthen your character,
- 1:30:50Speaker 5: Ask him to strengthen your will, Ask him to strengthen
- 1:30:54Speaker 5: your sticktuitiveness. Ask God for his help because God is
- 1:31:01Speaker 5: going to make your dream come true. Business. Those are
- 1:31:04Speaker 5: my closing remarks today.
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: Drop it, Baby, drop it. Those were good, Yes, yes,
