Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / CBS NEWS TAKES 2+ years to admit Hunter Biden laptop is real!

- 0:00Speaker 1: It only took them two years, Yeah, two years and
- 0:03Speaker 1: two elections for CBS News to come out and actually
- 0:08Speaker 1: admit that the copy of Hunter Biden's laptop data quote
- 0:12Speaker 1: appears to be genuine independent experts. Fine, now, you can
- 0:17Speaker 1: mock them for taking two years to get to this point,
- 0:20Speaker 1: but the reality is there's a reason why they're now
- 0:24Speaker 1: coming to this conclusion, and that is because Republicans are
- 0:29Speaker 1: taking over control of the House, and that means there's
- 0:31Speaker 1: going to be real investigations and they want to get
- 0:34Speaker 1: ahead of it to act like they've been covering this
- 0:37Speaker 1: all along. Now, a reporter actually asked a question of
- 0:42Speaker 1: the White House, and they're trying to get on the
- 0:44Speaker 1: record is saying we've asked about this before to cover
- 0:47Speaker 1: their own a doubles in the White House Press Corps.
- 0:50Speaker 1: They're asking questions about Joe Biden and Joe Biden's involvement
- 0:55Speaker 1: in his son's business dealings. Take a listen, can you
- 1:00Speaker 1: address whether the president was involved in any of his son,
- 1:04Speaker 1: Hunter or his brother's foreign business dealings. So look at
- 1:07Speaker 1: you know, there's there's some a little bit of interesting,
- 1:11Speaker 1: uh you know, kind of on brand thinking here because
- 1:17Speaker 1: you know, Congressional Republicans ran up saying that they were
- 1:21Speaker 1: going to fight inflation. They said they were going to
- 1:24Speaker 1: make that a priority. They were very clear about that.
- 1:26Speaker 1: These passed several months, and instead what they're doing is
- 1:30Speaker 1: they're focusing. You know, they're focusing. They're making their type priority.
- 1:34Speaker 1: They get the majority and their type priorities actually not
- 1:37Speaker 1: focusing on the American families, but focusing on the president's family. Now,
- 1:41Speaker 1: the White House Press Court knows that she's lying, and
- 1:44Speaker 1: the White House Press Court knows that the Biden team
- 1:46Speaker 1: has been lying, and Joe Biden's been lying all along.
- 1:48Speaker 1: In fact, they knew it two years ago. We know
- 1:51Speaker 1: that he was involved in his son's business dealings, and
- 1:53Speaker 1: we know this because of the laptop and the emails
- 1:56Speaker 1: and ten percent for the big guy. So you've got
- 1:59Speaker 1: to ask a question, why now, why is CBS News
- 2:03Speaker 1: finally doing a six minute report on Hunter Biden's laptop?
- 2:07Speaker 1: And it's only for one reason. Understand this, because they're
- 2:11Speaker 1: going to have to cover the Biden story with Republicans
- 2:16Speaker 1: taking control of the House. I also think there's another
- 2:19Speaker 1: reason why this is happening. Against this, they are now
- 2:23Speaker 1: trying to test the Waters, it may be time for
- 2:26Speaker 1: them to get rid of their useful idiot. Joe Biden
- 2:30Speaker 1: is the useful idiot. He may no longer be useful
- 2:33Speaker 1: of the Democrats, and most Democrats have said they don't
- 2:35Speaker 1: want him to run for reelection. So how do you
- 2:38Speaker 1: get rid of him? Well, you start reporting on the
- 2:41Speaker 1: truth of his corruption within his family. You start telling
- 2:45Speaker 1: the truth that the entire Hunter Biden business is really
- 2:49Speaker 1: not about him, or really isn't even his. It's just
- 2:53Speaker 1: him acting on behalf of his father and his uncle,
- 2:55Speaker 1: and his uncle doesn't have this business without the kingpin,
- 2:59Speaker 1: the big guy, the Joe Biden. Ten percent for the
- 3:04Speaker 1: big guy. And we all know who the big guy is.
- 3:07Speaker 1: It's so clear who the big guy is. It's obvious
- 3:10Speaker 1: who the big guy is. We know it. We all
- 3:13Speaker 1: know it, all right. This is stupid to act like
- 3:16Speaker 1: we don't know who it is. Ten percent for the
- 3:19Speaker 1: big guy is the President. And every single business deal
- 3:23Speaker 1: that involved Hunter Biden or James Biden was about connecting
- 3:27Speaker 1: to the big guy. Now, before I get into more
- 3:30Speaker 1: of this story, I want to tell you about our
- 3:32Speaker 1: friends over at Turtle Box. Ladies, do you want to
- 3:35Speaker 1: get your man a gift for Christmas that he'll actually use,

- 4:33Speaker 1: promo code Ben. Now, CBS News put together this shocking
- 4:37Speaker 1: report entitled inside Hunter Biden's Laptop. Take a listen to
- 4:45Speaker 1: what they had to say in their expose. Over two
- 4:48Speaker 1: years late and after two elections, then they finally break
- 4:52Speaker 1: the story, and as Republicans take control of the House,
- 4:55Speaker 1: Hunter Biden, the president's son, will be a target for investigation,
- 5:00Speaker 1: and that means data from a laptop reported to belong
- 5:02Speaker 1: to Biden could be crucial to the investigatory process. CBS
- 5:07Speaker 1: News has obtained its data not through a third party
- 5:11Speaker 1: or political operative, but directly from the source who told
- 5:14Speaker 1: us they provided it to the FBI under subpoena, and
- 5:18Speaker 1: we commissioned an independent forensic review to determine its authenticity.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Senior investigative corresponding Katherine Harris joins us now with what
- 5:27Speaker 1: we've found. Catherine, I'm very interested. Good morning, Good morning, Tony.
- 5:31Speaker 1: These House Republican investigations are coming and that could be
- 5:34Speaker 1: a challenge for the White House as we head into
- 5:36Speaker 1: twenty twenty three and twenty twenty four. The laptop data
- 5:40Speaker 1: we had analyzed showed no evidence it was faked or
- 5:43Speaker 1: tampered with, no evidence that it was fake or tampered with.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Took your two years, two whole years to give that data,
- 5:54Speaker 1: to give that information, to do this report. You missed
- 5:57Speaker 1: a presidential election, refusing to admit it was real, and
- 6:01Speaker 1: then you missed a mid term election, refusing to admit
- 6:04Speaker 1: that's real. But now after the midterm election, your go
- 6:08Speaker 1: You're like, let's do it now. Now we're ready, right now,
- 6:11Speaker 1: We're all about it. Now we'll tell you what's on
- 6:15Speaker 1: the laptop that two years ago we said was fake
- 6:17Speaker 1: and not real. In fact, we mocked the President of
- 6:21Speaker 1: the United States America in a sit down interview about
- 6:23Speaker 1: this when he brought up the laptop and said it
- 6:26Speaker 1: wasn't real. Digital forensic investigator Mark Lanterman was previously a
- 6:30Speaker 1: member of a Secret Service electronic crimes task force. There
- 6:34Speaker 1: was one thing that got my attention, and that was
- 6:37Speaker 1: a voicemail. Stared more than the whole world heal help.
- 6:44Speaker 1: That voicemail, apparently from Joe Biden during his son Hunter's
- 6:47Speaker 1: drug addiction, is one of many findings Lanterman used to
- 6:50Speaker 1: authenticate what is believed to be Hunter Biden's laptop data.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Your confident based on your analysis, this is Hunter Biden's
- 6:57Speaker 1: data and that it's real. Yes, This Delaware computer shop
- 7:02Speaker 1: is where the laptop's backstory begins, their records indicate. In
- 7:06Speaker 1: April twenty nineteen, Hunter Biden took his laptop in for
- 7:10Speaker 1: repair but never paid. After ninety days, the store considered
- 7:14Speaker 1: it abandoned. Then, in December twenty nineteen, the FBI subpoenaed
- 7:18Speaker 1: the store's owner to turn over the computer and a
- 7:21Speaker 1: portable drive of its data. Whatever happened to Hunter. During
- 7:24Speaker 1: the twenty twenty election, versions were widely shared by Republican operatives,
- 7:28Speaker 1: including Rudy Giuliani. We have the entire hard drive, but
- 7:32Speaker 1: questions were raised about whether additional files were added to
- 7:35Speaker 1: those versions. Then Candidate Biden labeled the laptop controversy disinformation.
- 7:41Speaker 1: What this he's accusing me of is a Russian plant.
- 7:44Speaker 1: CBS News approached the lawyer for the computer repair shop
- 7:47Speaker 1: owner to cut through the noise. We've always had one
- 7:51Speaker 1: clean copy and obtained a copy of what he says.
- 7:54Speaker 1: They provided the FBI under subpoena. By the way, how
- 7:58Speaker 1: they say we obtained that to break through the noise?
- 8:01Speaker 1: You hear that there? Right, Let's go back to CBS News.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Let's go back to October the twenty six CBS News
- 8:08Speaker 1: sixty minutes when Leslie Stall was interviewing Donald Trump, and
- 8:12Speaker 1: Donald Trump tried to bring up the scandal and listen
- 8:15Speaker 1: to how CBS News responded when Donald Trump brought it up.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Wish you would interview Joe Bidden like you interview me.
- 8:22Speaker 1: It would be so good. You know what you think?
- 8:25Speaker 1: I thought, But when I watch him walk out of
- 8:29Speaker 1: a store and he's walking with a ice cream and
- 8:33Speaker 1: the question the media asked him what kind of ice cream?
- 8:35Speaker 1: What flavor ice cream do you have? And he's in
- 8:38Speaker 1: the midst of a scandal, and he's taking He's not
- 8:45Speaker 1: in the middle of a scandal. Come on, he's not.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Now CBS News claiming they want to cut through the noise,
- 8:54Speaker 1: two years after they mocked the sitting president for the scandal,
- 8:57Speaker 1: saying it was not a scandal. Well wait, CBS days,
- 9:00Speaker 1: we're gonna really break through the noise. Now. We went
- 9:05Speaker 1: to Minneapolis for an independent analysis. Were you paid by
- 9:09Speaker 1: CBS or anyone else to analyze the data? No? No,
- 9:14Speaker 1: I wouldn't want anyone to think that someone bought our opinion.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Around the corner, that'll lead you to what we call
- 9:20Speaker 1: our imaging room, Lanterman and his sun Shane, both digital
- 9:24Speaker 1: forensic experts, recovered images of credit cards, a driver's license,
- 9:28Speaker 1: social security number. Just the sheer volume of what we're
- 9:33Speaker 1: dealing with. It would be difficult, if not impossible, to fabricate,
- 9:38Speaker 1: and explained how files built up over years. It accumulated
- 9:42Speaker 1: over time, which is consistent with normal everyday use of
- 9:48Speaker 1: a computer. There's some reporting about folders being added. We
- 9:53Speaker 1: have read these articles. We don't see that, so I
- 9:58Speaker 1: believe that that's because we have a more pristine copy.
- 10:03Speaker 1: The laptop and its contents had fueled Republican interest in
- 10:07Speaker 1: Hunter Biden's business ventures. Hunter Biden was working with Chinese nationals.
- 10:12Speaker 1: They say this May twenty seventeen email outlining a proposed
- 10:16Speaker 1: business deal with a Chinese energy firm is one reason
- 10:19Speaker 1: why they have questions about whether President Biden benefited. We're
- 10:23Speaker 1: prepared to subpoena Hunter Biden. We would certainly hope that
- 10:27Speaker 1: he would want to come before the comedian clear his name.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Two of Hunter Biden's former business partners, including Tony Babalinski,
- 10:34Speaker 1: who received the email, told CBS News, the ten held
- 10:37Speaker 1: by h for the Big Guy is shorthand for ten
- 10:40Speaker 1: percent held by Hunter for his father. Let's just back
- 10:44Speaker 1: up for one second here. Two years after anyone with
- 10:47Speaker 1: a brain realized the Hunter Biden laptop story was one
- 10:49Speaker 1: hundred percent real, CBS News after missing this story for
- 10:54Speaker 1: two different elections on purpose. The presidential in the mid
- 10:58Speaker 1: term has finally gotten around to doing a deep dive
- 11:01Speaker 1: forensics into the laptop which we all knew was real
- 11:04Speaker 1: and everybody else in the media said is real. And
- 11:07Speaker 1: now they're reporting on the Hunter Biden laptop story saying, oh,
- 11:10Speaker 1: it is real. One other thing, I just have to say,
- 11:13Speaker 1: why now? That's the question that everyone needs to be asking.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Why now I can answer that question. The reason why
- 11:22Speaker 1: it's now is because the useful idiot is no longer
- 11:26Speaker 1: useful to them, and this is how they get rid
- 11:29Speaker 1: of Joe Biden. All right, real quick, let me pause
- 11:32Speaker 1: and tell you about our incredible friends over at Patriot Mobile.
- 11:36Speaker 1: They are America's only Christian conservative cell phone provider. They
- 11:41Speaker 1: want to make it easy for you to try switching
- 11:44Speaker 1: to Patriot Mobile from whatever service you have right now.
- 11:47Speaker 1: You can give them sixty days to show you why
- 11:50Speaker 1: I use Patriot Mobile and why you should make the
- 11:52Speaker 1: switch right now. When you try Patriot Mobile for two months,
- 11:57Speaker 1: you get your third month free, plus you get reactivation now.
- 12:01Speaker 1: They offer nationwide coverage on the best four G and
- 12:04Speaker 1: five G networks, and they use the same exact cell
- 12:06Speaker 1: towers of all of the three other major carriers. You're
- 12:10Speaker 1: gonna get the same coverage you have right now, You
- 12:13Speaker 1: get the same great service, You get to keep your
- 12:14Speaker 1: same cell phone number if you want to. You can
- 12:16Speaker 1: even usually use the same phone you have in your
- 12:18Speaker 1: hand right now. Now, why do you want to switch?
- 12:21Speaker 1: When you do, they actually stand up for a First
- 12:23Speaker 1: and Second Amendment rights, and they give a portion of
- 12:26Speaker 1: your bill every month back to conservative Christian causes that
- 12:31Speaker 1: we all believe in. So if you're ready to support
- 12:35Speaker 1: a company that's fighting to preserve our God given rights
- 12:38Speaker 1: and our freedoms, just go to Patriot Mobile dot com
- 12:41Speaker 1: slash ferguson. That's Patriot Mobile dot com slash ferguson, or
- 12:46Speaker 1: you can call them nine seven to Patriot. It's nine
- 12:50Speaker 1: seven to Patriot. If you're fed up with woke companies
- 12:53Speaker 1: that don't care about your values, support a company that
- 12:55Speaker 1: actually does make the switch today get a free month
- 12:59Speaker 1: of service plus reactivation Patriot Mobile dot com slash ferguson
- 13:03Speaker 1: or nine seven two Patriot. There's another part of this
- 13:07Speaker 1: is you notice they're focusing on ten percent for the
- 13:10Speaker 1: big guy. They just mentioned that just brought it up right.
- 13:13Speaker 1: They say, Oh, Tony Bobo Lensky, the same guy. They
- 13:16Speaker 1: could have interviewed before the twenty sixteen or excuse me,
- 13:19Speaker 1: the twenty twenty presidential election. They chose not to. They
- 13:21Speaker 1: could have interviewed him before the midterm elections. No, No,
- 13:25Speaker 1: didn't want to do that. Now after the elections are over, Hey,
- 13:28Speaker 1: let's talk to that Tony Bobo Lensky guy about the
- 13:30Speaker 1: big Guy, Joe Biden. CBS News. The ten held by
- 13:34Speaker 1: h for the Big Guy is shorthand for ten percent
- 13:37Speaker 1: held by Hunter for his father. After the email became
- 13:40Speaker 1: public in twenty twenty, the author of the email told
- 13:43Speaker 1: The Wall Street Journal Joe Biden was not involved. The
- 13:46Speaker 1: author has not responded to CBS news as questions. Mister
- 13:50Speaker 1: Biden has consistently denied knowledge of his son's work or
- 13:53Speaker 1: financially benefiting from it. I've never spoken last month, I've
- 14:00Speaker 1: ever spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings. Now,
- 14:03Speaker 1: before I get into that part, let's go back to
- 14:06Speaker 1: the Tony Bobolynski part. There, they just straight up lied
- 14:10Speaker 1: to you about Tony Bobolynski. They did, CBS News just
- 14:14Speaker 1: flat out lied to you Tony Bobolenski is a guy
- 14:19Speaker 1: that they know is extremely damning to this president. They
- 14:26Speaker 1: know that Tony bobo Lensky has everything, and that's exactly
- 14:31Speaker 1: the reason why they decided not to touch it. They
- 14:34Speaker 1: don't want to talk about Tony, they don't want to
- 14:37Speaker 1: mention it. They don't want you to know everything he says.
- 14:40Speaker 1: They're like, oh, wow, you know, Tony, there's still some
- 14:42Speaker 1: questions about Tony Bobolynski. There are not questions still about
- 14:46Speaker 1: Tony Bobolynski. Everything he's ever said is accurate so far.
- 14:50Speaker 1: In all of this, the only thing that change is
- 14:53Speaker 1: your past, the election and everything. Now you're like, all right,
- 14:56Speaker 1: we can run out the clock on this one. We
- 14:59Speaker 1: can run out the clock. We can act like it's
- 15:02Speaker 1: real now right, we can this whole conversation about Tony.
- 15:07Speaker 1: We can finally we can finally move forward with it
- 15:11Speaker 1: because now it is expedient. Now it works for our timetable.
- 15:17Speaker 1: We want to get rid of Hunter Biden or excuse me,
- 15:21Speaker 1: the president Joe Biden from running again. That's why we
- 15:26Speaker 1: can now do this. Just listen to James Comber. There's
- 15:32Speaker 1: another part of this story. And again the media should
- 15:34Speaker 1: be covering this. They're not, but now maybe they'll start
- 15:36Speaker 1: because they want to get rid of Joe Biden. He's
- 15:38Speaker 1: the useful idiot that is no longer useful. He talks
- 15:42Speaker 1: about this two million dollar tax bill with the IRS, Well,
- 15:46Speaker 1: talk to us about these transactions, because you know, they've
- 15:49Speaker 1: tried to leak to the press that Hunter Biden is
- 15:52Speaker 1: going to be charged with tax issues. Is it because
- 15:56Speaker 1: he wasn't paying taxes on all of the money that
- 15:58Speaker 1: Chinese officials and any officials and Russians officials were wiring
- 16:02Speaker 1: into his account? Right? You know, he has at least
- 16:05Speaker 1: a two million dollars tax bill with the IRS. I
- 16:08Speaker 1: don't know how many people you know that, oh, the
- 16:09Speaker 1: IRS there were two million dollars. Hunter Biden is one
- 16:11Speaker 1: of them. But honestly, Maria, the tax evasion is the
- 16:15Speaker 1: least of hunter Biden's problems. And my fear is if
- 16:19Speaker 1: the doj in dict Hunter Biden, then that will essentially
- 16:23Speaker 1: protect him from a congressional subpoena from the House Oversight Committee.
- 16:26Speaker 1: So I'm not advocating for hunter Biden to being dicted.
- 16:29Speaker 1: I'm not advocating for a special counsel because I believe
- 16:32Speaker 1: that if the Treasury Cabinet and if the banks will
- 16:36Speaker 1: work with us, we'll be able to get answers to
- 16:38Speaker 1: the most important questions on the House oversight. Two million.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Will they get that help from the oversight? I don't know.
- 16:47Speaker 1: That's a great question. But the two million dollars is
- 16:50Speaker 1: two million dollars. There's also James Comer saying there are
- 16:54Speaker 1: emails showing Biden lying about his involvement with Hunter Biden,
- 16:58Speaker 1: which has been out there for two years, but CBF
- 17:01Speaker 1: series just now waking up to it. So there's evidence
- 17:04Speaker 1: from Hunter Biden himself to suggest that Joe Biden was
- 17:07Speaker 1: directly benefiting from the millions of dollars Hunter was getting
- 17:11Speaker 1: from these shady business hells. But even worse, we showed
- 17:13Speaker 1: emails today where Hunter Biden emailed the landlord of an
- 17:17Speaker 1: office for a business he was starting with his dad.
- 17:21Speaker 1: He said his dad was going to get a ten
- 17:23Speaker 1: percent equity stake in a business that was to help
- 17:26Speaker 1: China get their foot in the door on the American
- 17:29Speaker 1: natural gas industry. So the amazing thing is Joe Biden
- 17:33Speaker 1: was working with Hunter Biden to help China get a
- 17:36Speaker 1: leg up on our American energy industry. That's what he
- 17:40Speaker 1: was doing. So let's go back to CBS News now
- 17:43Speaker 1: two years later, they're going to tell you all this
- 17:45Speaker 1: is real. Sender Chunk Grassley wrote this letter alleging bank
- 17:49Speaker 1: records and financial data showed that Hunter Biden and the
- 17:53Speaker 1: president's brother profited from a five million dollar wire from
- 17:56Speaker 1: a company connected to CEFC, the Chinese energy firm. They're
- 18:00Speaker 1: going to look at every part of the Joe Biden administration.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Doug High is a Republican strategist. A lot of this
- 18:06Speaker 1: is also going to be aggressive on Hunter specifically. We're
- 18:09Speaker 1: gonna hear a lot about the laptop, who profited? Was
- 18:12Speaker 1: the law broken? Was it not broken? After two years
- 18:14Speaker 1: of scrutiny, the laptop has not produced evidence President Biden
- 18:18Speaker 1: directly benefited from his son's business deals. If there's Dirk,
- 18:22Speaker 1: can we just go back real quick there, she says,
- 18:26Speaker 1: after two years of scrutiny, the Hunter Biden laptop is
- 18:31Speaker 1: now producing evidence. That's a lie. This evidence was there
- 18:39Speaker 1: two years ago. You guys could have done the same
- 18:40Speaker 1: damn story you're doing right now at CBS News two
- 18:44Speaker 1: years ago. You could have done it before the midterms.
- 18:47Speaker 1: You could have done it a year ago, year and
- 18:48Speaker 1: a half ago. You could have done it six months ago.
- 18:51Speaker 1: But you're acting like it took you two years to
- 18:53Speaker 1: find out the truth that you're now selling to the
- 18:56Speaker 1: American people like you're the only ones that we're doing
- 18:59Speaker 1: due diligence, and everybody else was kind of just going
- 19:01Speaker 1: with a story and we weren't sure if it was
- 19:03Speaker 1: real or not. This is this Nothing has changed on
- 19:06Speaker 1: this laptop in two years. The FBI knows that too,
- 19:09Speaker 1: by the way, but they've been sitting on the story
- 19:11Speaker 1: as well. But she acts like CBS News for two years,
- 19:15Speaker 1: Katherine Herritt had just been into, you know, really digging
- 19:17Speaker 1: into this. This is total crap. I is a Republican strategist.
- 19:22Speaker 1: A lot of this is also going to be aggressive
- 19:24Speaker 1: on Hunter specifically. We're gonna hear a lot about the laptop,
- 19:27Speaker 1: who profited? Was the law broken? Was it not broken?
- 19:30Speaker 1: After two years of scrutiny, the laptop has non produced
- 19:33Speaker 1: evidence President By directly benefited from his son's business deals.
- 19:38Speaker 1: If there's dirt there that will dirty him up. If not,
- 19:41Speaker 1: those attacks can backfire. Yeah, if there's dirt there, that's
- 19:44Speaker 1: what you get out of this. There is dirt there.
- 19:47Speaker 1: It's clear that he profited from his from the business dealings,
- 19:51Speaker 1: because none of these deals would get done, Kate. None
- 19:54Speaker 1: of these deals would get done, none of them, not
- 19:58Speaker 1: a single one of them would get done if it
- 20:01Speaker 1: wasn't for the big guy. They're like, Wow, We're still
- 20:05Speaker 1: not sure that he was really involved. We're still trying
- 20:08Speaker 1: to figure this out. She'll trying to understand if maybe
- 20:11Speaker 1: this is happening, and their closing argument here may be
- 20:13Speaker 1: the best part of the hypocrisy of CBS News Again,
- 20:17Speaker 1: we obtained their headline inside Hunter Biden's laptop CBS News
- 20:21Speaker 1: of Thame's laptop data purportedly belonging to the president Son. Well,
- 20:24Speaker 1: you just said that it is the president's son's laptop,
- 20:29Speaker 1: So now why are you keeping up on the screen
- 20:31Speaker 1: purportedly belonging to President Son when you just said you
- 20:33Speaker 1: guys verify that it is the present son's laptop. This
- 20:36Speaker 1: is how scumbaggy they are. The White House declined to comment.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Hunter's lawyer did not address our specific questions about the
- 20:44Speaker 1: data or the CBS forensic review, but said there have
- 20:47Speaker 1: been multiple attempts to hack, in fact, distort and pedal
- 20:51Speaker 1: misinformation regarding mister Biden's devices and data, and at no
- 20:55Speaker 1: time did any individual, including the I repair shop owners
- 21:00Speaker 1: j MCAAC, have mister Biden's consent to access his computer
- 21:03Speaker 1: data or share it with others. The lawyer also referred
- 21:07Speaker 1: us to Hunter Biden's memoir, where the president's son slammed
- 21:10Speaker 1: the despicable opposition that purported to have a laptop belonging
- 21:14Speaker 1: to him again at the end, still reportedly belonging to him.
- 21:19Speaker 1: It's his. You're a bunch of hacks. It is his.
- 21:25Speaker 1: We all know it's his. Now at the same time
- 21:27Speaker 1: that CBS News is doing this story, these are the
- 21:29Speaker 1: same people that came out and announced that they would
- 21:32Speaker 1: be pausing their activity on Twitter out of an abundance
- 21:35Speaker 1: of caution because Twitters now letting people actually share stories
- 21:38Speaker 1: like this, right, And they were hoping that everybody would
- 21:41Speaker 1: follow CBS News's lead and they would be the leader
- 21:44Speaker 1: for everybody to quit Twitter. Right, everybody in the news
- 21:47Speaker 1: just quit Twitter. Guess what didn't happen? And Muskets called
- 21:50Speaker 1: for an emergency meeting for all remaining engineers in light
- 21:53Speaker 1: of the uncertainty around Twitter and out of an abundance
- 21:55Speaker 1: of caution, CBS News is pausing its activity on the
- 21:59Speaker 1: social media as it continues to monitor the platform. Major Johnson,
- 22:04Speaker 1: by the way, no one followed CBS News right out
- 22:08Speaker 1: of abundance of caution. We're pausing our activity on Twitter.
- 22:11Speaker 1: You want to know how long CBS News has pause
- 22:15Speaker 1: their Twitter accounts and all their shows, They were brave
- 22:20Speaker 1: for a total of one day, sixteen hours and thirty
- 22:22Speaker 1: one minutes. If you want to know how how scumbaggy
- 22:27Speaker 1: the media is, this is the example. Unfortunately, just of today,
- 22:32Speaker 1: we'll sit on a story, say it's a lie, say
- 22:35Speaker 1: that the hunter Biden laptop stories not a real story,
- 22:37Speaker 1: will mock the present to his face and sit down
- 22:39Speaker 1: sixty sixty minute interview with him. We'll miss this story
- 22:44Speaker 1: for not one, but two years. Right, We'll miss this
- 22:48Speaker 1: story for literally two years on purpose, through two election cycles.
- 22:54Speaker 1: And then only after that second election cycle, the midterms,
- 22:58Speaker 1: will we immediately come out do a five minute story
- 23:01Speaker 1: on this to cover our abs because we know that
- 23:05Speaker 1: Republicans in the House are going to investigate and we
- 23:09Speaker 1: have to say, oh, we reported on that. We have
- 23:12Speaker 1: to be able to say over and over again, yeah,
- 23:14Speaker 1: we reported on that. Right, I mean that is the
- 23:19Speaker 1: ball game, folks. We reported on it. We did that.
- 23:22Speaker 1: We reported on it, We reported on it, We reported
- 23:25Speaker 1: on it. All right, real quick, I want to tell
- 23:27Speaker 1: you about my good friends over at legacy precious medals.
- 23:30Speaker 1: With the economy really an inflation out of control in
- 23:33Speaker 1: the stock market taking horrific losses, the NASDAC down more
- 23:38Speaker 1: in one month than we've seen back in two thousand
- 23:41Speaker 1: and eight. Was the last time it was this bad.
- 23:44Speaker 1: You may be looking at your financial portfolio in your
- 23:46Speaker 1: sick to your stomach. You're not alone. The question is
- 23:49Speaker 1: if you are not diversified in precious medals as part
- 23:54Speaker 1: of your financial portfolio, then what would it look like now?
- 23:57Speaker 1: Maybe if you would have been, it's not too late,
- 23:59Speaker 1: by the way, to take advantage of gold and silver.
- 24:02Speaker 1: It is a hedge against inflation, and it's a way
- 24:05Speaker 1: for you to diversify your IRA, your four oh one K,
- 24:08Speaker 1: your investment portfolio. If you've never looked at gold and silver,
- 24:12Speaker 1: there's actually no better time than right now now. I've
- 24:14Speaker 1: been investing golden silver for gosh, almost twenty years. I've
- 24:18Speaker 1: used it as a percentage of my strategy to protect myself.
- 24:22Speaker 1: So on the worst days on Wall Street. Usually they're
- 24:25Speaker 1: not as bad for me as they are for others.

- 25:06Speaker 1: very clear that the Chinese government has actually been setting
- 25:10Speaker 1: up police stations in around the US, including one in
- 25:15Speaker 1: New York City. The FBI Director Christopher Ray confirmed this
- 25:20Speaker 1: week the Bureau is investigating the Chinese government's efforts to
- 25:23Speaker 1: set up these police stations all over the country, saying
- 25:27Speaker 1: he's very concerned about Beijing's outrageous transnational repression schemes. There
- 25:35Speaker 1: have been investigations in the US and in Europe, Canada
- 25:39Speaker 1: and elsewhere that have actually been spurred not by the
- 25:41Speaker 1: US government but by Safeguard Defenders, a nonprofit organization. They
- 25:47Speaker 1: have released a report on Chinese transnational policing gone Wild,
- 25:53Speaker 1: with the Spain based human rights advocacy groups saying fifty
- 25:57Speaker 1: four overseas Chinese police service stations are operating in thirty
- 26:02Speaker 1: countries across five continents that have been uncovered by the
- 26:07Speaker 1: group so far, including in New York City. Now, FBI
- 26:12Speaker 1: Director Ray was grilled about the Chinese efforts to do
- 26:16Speaker 1: this in the US. Not to try to do it,
- 26:18Speaker 1: they're actually doing it. He was grilled by Senator Rick
- 26:22Speaker 1: Scott from Florida during a Senate hearing this week. The
- 26:24Speaker 1: FBI director pointed the finger at the Chinese leader g
- 26:29Speaker 1: for actually doing this. Now. Here's the part though, that
- 26:32Speaker 1: really makes me angry. What we know right now is
- 26:37Speaker 1: that these Chinese police stations number one are operating. In fact,
- 26:41Speaker 1: we know that a Chinese police station operates in Lower Manhattan.
- 26:46Speaker 1: We know who. It's being run by, the American Chang
- 26:49Speaker 1: Lee Association NYC, Inc, which had its tax exempt status
- 26:55Speaker 1: pulled by the IRS in May after it failed to
- 26:57Speaker 1: submit its taxes for three years in a row. The
- 27:00Speaker 1: outlets At documents show the nonprofit group was actually founded
- 27:04Speaker 1: all the way back in twenty and thirteen, and apparently
- 27:07Speaker 1: back in twenty thirteen is when they may have started
- 27:09Speaker 1: doing this type of policing and what we're now just
- 27:12Speaker 1: figuring this out come on. Not only was it founded
- 27:15Speaker 1: in twenty thirteen, but they also said they paid one
- 27:19Speaker 1: point three million three years later for an office that
- 27:23Speaker 1: now houses the police station. Ray also added of Chinese
- 27:29Speaker 1: surveillance efforts, they say, look, we've had situations where they've
- 27:32Speaker 1: planted bugs inside of American cars, for example. And one
- 27:37Speaker 1: of the things that we're seeing more and more is
- 27:39Speaker 1: them hiring private investigators here in the US to essentially
- 27:43Speaker 1: be their agents to conduct some of their work. So
- 27:47Speaker 1: this is something that we're trying to call out now.
- 27:50Speaker 1: The FBI director said it was important for Chinese Americans
- 27:53Speaker 1: and Chinese dissidents in the US to report when they
- 27:56Speaker 1: think they may have been targeted by this sort of
- 27:59Speaker 1: Chinese conduct. That's encouraging, isn't it. Safeguard Defenders, the nonprofit
- 28:06Speaker 1: group that is blowing the whistle on this, said its
- 28:09Speaker 1: reports have been corroborated. When anonymous officials with the Chinese
- 28:13Speaker 1: Ministry of Foreign Affairs told a newspaper in Spain October, quote,
- 28:17Speaker 1: I don't see what is wrong with pressuring criminals to
- 28:21Speaker 1: face justice with all the guarantee guarantees contained quote in
- 28:25Speaker 1: Chinese law. In other words, they're admitting that they're doing this. Now,
- 28:30Speaker 1: what they're doing in America is disgusting because what they're
- 28:32Speaker 1: actually doing, we're also being told, is they're actually stalking
- 28:35Speaker 1: and blackmailing people in the United States of America. They're
- 28:41Speaker 1: blackmailing people in the US, and they're stalking people in
- 28:45Speaker 1: the US and this is all part of what we're
- 28:48Speaker 1: allowing them to do in this country. I want to
- 28:51Speaker 1: play for you this back and forth between the FBI
- 28:55Speaker 1: director and Senator Rick Scott from Florida. It's that the
- 29:00Speaker 1: Chinese Communist Party are operating police stations in the United
- 29:03Speaker 1: States and effort to surveil Chinese dissidents. It seems obvious
- 29:06Speaker 1: the US shouldn't allow its most significant geopolic arrival and
- 29:09Speaker 1: oppressive communist regime to establish police stations in the US.
- 29:13Speaker 1: What authority or jurisdiction does the c CP have in
- 29:17Speaker 1: the US? And I don't know if which one want
- 29:19Speaker 1: it testifying well, Senator, like you, I'm very concerned about this.
- 29:25Speaker 1: We are aware of the existence of these stations I
- 29:28Speaker 1: had to be careful about discussing our specific investigative work.
- 29:32Speaker 1: But to me, it is outrageous to think that the
- 29:36Speaker 1: Chinese police would attempt to set up shop, you know,
- 29:39Speaker 1: in New York, let's say, without proper coordination. It violates
- 29:43Speaker 1: sovereignty and circumvents standard judicial law enforcement cooperation processes. And
- 29:50Speaker 1: the reason the reason this is so important is because
- 29:54Speaker 1: we have seen a clear pattern of the Chinese government,
- 29:57Speaker 1: the Chinese Communist Party exporting their transder repression right here
- 30:03Speaker 1: into the US. And we've had now a number of
- 30:05Speaker 1: indictments that you may have seen of the Chinese engaging
- 30:08Speaker 1: in uncoordinated quote unquote law enforcement action right here in
- 30:12Speaker 1: the United States harassing, stocking, surveiling, blackmailing people who they
- 30:18Speaker 1: just don't like or disagree with the Shi regime. And
- 30:22Speaker 1: so it's a real problem, and it's something that we're
- 30:25Speaker 1: talking with our foreign partners about as well, because we're
- 30:28Speaker 1: not the only country where this has occurred. Can you
- 30:32Speaker 1: do they don't have any right to be here right Well,
- 30:36Speaker 1: we're looking into the legal parameters of it. So I
- 30:40Speaker 1: want to be a little bit careful to get not
- 30:42Speaker 1: to get out over my skis on that, But I
- 30:44Speaker 1: suffice to say I can tell you from an FBI
- 30:46Speaker 1: director perspective, I'm deeply concerned about this, and I'm not
- 30:49Speaker 1: going to just let it lie. Secretary, Does it impact
- 30:53Speaker 1: I'm not security at all? Well, of course, the threat
- 30:56Speaker 1: of China is one of the most significant threats that
- 30:59Speaker 1: we face in the homeland. It's not only a matter
- 31:02Speaker 1: of national securities, a matter of homeland security in a
- 31:05Speaker 1: number of arrays, in a number of areas of our mission.
- 31:08Speaker 1: Do you think you have the ability to shut them down?
- 31:11Speaker 1: Do you have do you know if you have the
- 31:12Speaker 1: right to shut them down? The the I would have
- 31:15Speaker 1: to defer to the Department of Justice with respect of
- 31:18Speaker 1: the would Justice not homeland security? Okay, so it would
- 31:22Speaker 1: be under FBI well, or to the extent that the
- 31:25Speaker 1: remedies might be some part of the Justice Department outside
- 31:29Speaker 1: the FBI, that that could also be a possibility. And
- 31:31Speaker 1: then there may be a State department dimension to this
- 31:33Speaker 1: that we're looking into. So, when you know they're here,
- 31:36Speaker 1: do you have do you know if they're surveiling US citizens?
- 31:39Speaker 1: Do you know that yet? Do you have enough information
- 31:41Speaker 1: to know if they are? Well? Again, I don't, I
- 31:43Speaker 1: don't want to get too far into our ongoing investigative work.
- 31:46Speaker 1: But as I said, we have seen plenty of situations,
- 31:48Speaker 1: plenty of situations in the past where the Chinese government,
- 31:52Speaker 1: under the pretext of going after corruption, have essentially used
- 31:59Speaker 1: that as a vehicle to surveil. We've had situations where
- 32:03Speaker 1: they've planted bugs inside Americans cars, for example. And one
- 32:09Speaker 1: of the things that we're seeing more and more is
- 32:10Speaker 1: them hiring private investigators here in the US to essentially
- 32:15Speaker 1: be their agents, if you will, to conduct some of
- 32:18Speaker 1: this work. So this is something we're trying to call out,
- 32:22Speaker 1: and it's important the Chinese Americans and Chinese dissidents who
- 32:25Speaker 1: are here know to call the FBI to report when
- 32:28Speaker 1: they think they may have been targeted with this kind
- 32:30Speaker 1: of you because you probably can't talk about it here.
- 32:32Speaker 1: I'd like to get a classified briefing on what they're
- 32:35Speaker 1: doing so at some point, so whenever it works out
- 32:38Speaker 1: for you, we'd be happy to set that up. It's
- 32:42Speaker 1: amazing that Senator Scott has to actually ask to get
- 32:46Speaker 1: a briefing. Can I get a classified briefing on what's
- 32:51Speaker 1: really going on? Like, oh yeah, we can set that
- 32:53Speaker 1: up off too. If they're planting listening devices in cars.
- 33:00Speaker 1: If they're doing this to people in this country, why
- 33:05Speaker 1: is it just now that you're alerting everyone to it.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Why wasn't there a big FBI press conference that we
- 33:13Speaker 1: want to let you know to be on the lookout
- 33:15Speaker 1: for the FBI. And why wasn't there a big press conference.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Let's take it just one step further. Why wasn't there
- 33:22Speaker 1: a really big press conference? Then also says something else, Hey,
- 33:29Speaker 1: we want to warn all the private investigators out there
- 33:33Speaker 1: that if you're getting hired, be careful who you're taking
- 33:35Speaker 1: a job from, because if it is from the Chinese,
- 33:40Speaker 1: they may be you may be working for Chinese communists.
- 33:43Speaker 1: They may be using you as a is a Chinese
- 33:46Speaker 1: communist spy. Be careful not to go work for the Chinese. Like,
- 33:53Speaker 1: wouldn't that be I don't know, like a useful right.
- 33:59Speaker 1: Wouldn't that be a useful moment, a useful piece of information?
- 34:06Speaker 1: I would think it would be, right, I mean, wouldn't
- 34:09Speaker 1: you wouldn't you just go? Yeah? That that really does
- 34:12Speaker 1: make sense, Like we should probably warn people this way.
- 34:17Speaker 1: We should probably let them know about what's happening. How
- 34:20Speaker 1: is it only after we bring it up this way,
- 34:22Speaker 1: You're like, hey, might wanna, you know, let everybody know
- 34:26Speaker 1: what's happening, what's going on here? That wouldn't you think,
- 34:31Speaker 1: I mean, that would be something that would be pertinent information.
- 34:34Speaker 1: They're sitting there going, yeah, this is going on. We're
- 34:36Speaker 1: really upset about it, We're really angry about it. We're
- 34:38Speaker 1: looking at everything. No warning. You're not out there in
- 34:44Speaker 1: the press saying hey, China's infiltrate the United States of
- 34:47Speaker 1: America and this is what they're doing. And if you
- 34:49Speaker 1: think you've been a victim, please call us like that
- 34:52Speaker 1: didn't come up when you're like, this really is something
- 34:54Speaker 1: that we should do, that that moment didn't happen for
- 34:59Speaker 1: you at the FB. I go back to Joe Biden.
- 35:06Speaker 1: How compromises Joe Biden that China feels like they can
- 35:09Speaker 1: set up police stations in the United States of America
- 35:13Speaker 1: and do this right. That's that's my question. I want
- 35:17Speaker 1: somebody to answer that question for me. Make sure you
- 35:22Speaker 1: share this podcast with your family and friends. Please hit
- 35:25Speaker 1: that that that forward button. Also write us a five
