- 2:05Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice, come on dig me now
- 2:09Speaker 1: or one and only it is Steve Harvey. Yeah, I
- 2:14Speaker 1: got a radio show. Okay, this is timely for everybody.
- 2:19Speaker 1: I'm sure. Um. I want to offer you all or
- 2:25Speaker 1: some encouragement because everybody needed. Let me tell you something. Uh.
- 2:34Speaker 1: You strike out on your goals. You strike out on
- 2:37Speaker 1: your aspirations. You get headed out on the course to
- 2:41Speaker 1: fulfill your dreams. You strike out on the mission to
- 2:45Speaker 1: get it accomplished. You have resolutions, you decide that this
- 2:50Speaker 1: is what it's going to be, and so you strike
- 2:53Speaker 1: out all in it all engines blasting full force straight ahead.
- 3:02Speaker 1: And then it happens, as it happens to all of us.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Here it comes a setback. Here, it comes something pop up, man.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Here it comes the unexpected all out of nowhere man
- 3:26Speaker 1: or hater, just something that that, really, man, is undescribable
- 3:34Speaker 1: to you because you're just going along, You're what you
- 3:36Speaker 1: thought was your merry way, and here it comes life.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Life just hits one of them bad notes, as it
- 3:47Speaker 1: always does, as it always does for all of us,
- 3:52Speaker 1: for everybody. Now, when those bad notes happen, when heyter's
- 4:00Speaker 1: come out of nowhere, when the setback comes up, when
- 4:04Speaker 1: the when the out of nowhere appears, when now I
- 4:07Speaker 1: didn't see that coming comes, Here's here's what you have
- 4:15Speaker 1: to do. Here is the thing that I have been
- 4:19Speaker 1: teaching myself for years that I used to not always understand.
- 4:25Speaker 1: So I'm trying to give it to you. You have
- 4:30Speaker 1: to be encouraged anyway. Now that's difficult, Okay, Steve, what
- 4:34Speaker 1: you're talking about? You just told me all this discouraging
- 4:38Speaker 1: stuff that can happen, and you said you got to
- 4:40Speaker 1: be encouraged anyway. Yeah, man, you have to, because what's
- 4:48Speaker 1: happening to you right now, the thing that you're going
- 4:51Speaker 1: through right now, the thing that everybody's going through right now.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Ain't nobody on smooth sailing, man. Everybody got something, and
- 5:00Speaker 1: if they, if they don't smooth selling, just notice is coming.
- 5:03Speaker 1: There's nothing I'm wishing on anybody. It's just that this
- 5:06Speaker 1: is life. This is how it happens everybody, So please
- 5:10Speaker 1: stop stop getting on the old woe is Me bandwagon?
- 5:14Speaker 1: Old lord, why meat, old lord? Something always happened to me,
- 5:18Speaker 1: something always happens to everybody. But here's what you got
- 5:24Speaker 1: to do. When you get in moments like this, you
- 5:27Speaker 1: got to be encouraged. You got to remember in those times,
- 5:31Speaker 1: in those times when it's going wrong, you got to
- 5:35Speaker 1: remember all that you've been through. You got to remember
- 5:40Speaker 1: all that you've come through. You have to remember those
- 5:46Speaker 1: other times when you felt like this and somehow, unexplainably
- 5:51Speaker 1: you don't even really stop to say nothing about it.
- 5:54Speaker 1: It just changed for you. And the problem that was
- 5:58Speaker 1: is no more. And the situation that seems so insurmountable,
- 6:04Speaker 1: you got over it, You got around it, You got
- 6:08Speaker 1: over it. Sometimes you just got to slide right under it.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Sometimes you got to plow through it. But in those
- 6:19Speaker 1: times when it's discouraging for you, when you feel like
- 6:24Speaker 1: giving up, those are the tests. Those are the moments
- 6:30Speaker 1: that will determine whether we make it or not. I'll
- 6:35Speaker 1: tell you one thing for sure. If you give up
- 6:38Speaker 1: in these moments, right here here is a foreshore, you'll
- 6:41Speaker 1: never make it. That that's that's that's that's unquestionably the deal.
- 6:47Speaker 1: If you give up in these dark times, if you
- 6:51Speaker 1: give up in these what you think is insurmountable moments,
- 6:55Speaker 1: if you turn back now here is the one thousand
- 7:00Speaker 1: percent for shore, you ain't gonna make it. But there's
- 7:04Speaker 1: a bright side to this situation. If you keep your
- 7:08Speaker 1: head down, if you keep forging, if you keep pressing on. Sometimes,
- 7:15Speaker 1: if you just stand there and sometimes get knocked to
- 7:18Speaker 1: your knees, But if you stay in that place, if
- 7:22Speaker 1: you just stay there and ride the storm out, my
- 7:25Speaker 1: head is bloodied but unbowed. If you can just stay there,
- 7:33Speaker 1: if you consider in that moment and ride it out,
- 7:41Speaker 1: you will win. You will win, You will pass the test,
- 7:47Speaker 1: and you will get to move on to the next level.
- 7:51Speaker 1: But there is no next level without a test. You
- 7:55Speaker 1: can't get to grade six without passing grade five. You
- 7:59Speaker 1: can't ain't be a senior without first being a junior.
- 8:04Speaker 1: You can't graduate without fulfilling the hours and requirements. You see,
- 8:10Speaker 1: I don't care what you do in life. Look at it.
- 8:13Speaker 1: It's all set up on levels. But you've got to
- 8:16Speaker 1: accomplish the thing before in order to get to the
- 8:20Speaker 1: next level. And when you've made those level accomplishments, you
- 8:24Speaker 1: get to graduate. Now you can go on to get
- 8:26Speaker 1: the masters and a pH d. You can go on
- 8:28Speaker 1: and become rich. You can go become wealthy, or you
- 8:31Speaker 1: can go or you can go somewhere and think yourself
- 8:33Speaker 1: in another set of circumstances. But you got to go
- 8:36Speaker 1: through something to get to something. There ain't nothing free.
- 8:40Speaker 1: So you can stop that notion about being successful that
- 8:44Speaker 1: is easy. Come on, man, if it was easy, what
- 8:47Speaker 1: what what we are? What we're talking about? It is
- 8:51Speaker 1: not easy. Stop thinking it is. It is difficult. But
- 8:55Speaker 1: I'll tell you what's even more difficult than becoming successful.
- 9:00Speaker 1: You want to know what that is? Try not being
- 9:02Speaker 1: successful your whole life. That's hard. You are listening to
- 9:08Speaker 1: a person who has done them both been successful and
- 9:14Speaker 1: really really been not successful. And I got news for you.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Both of them hard, But I would rather deal with
- 9:22Speaker 1: what it is to be something, to make something out
- 9:25Speaker 1: of myself, to force myself to go to work when
- 9:28Speaker 1: I don't feel like it. This morning was a rough
- 9:31Speaker 1: get up for me, but I got up and I
- 9:33Speaker 1: said thank you anyway. Never give up. And I don't
- 9:37Speaker 1: watch this dude too. He even mess around and got
- 9:39Speaker 1: close to me because he just never gave up. You can,
- 9:42Speaker 1: You can never ever give up. Never. It's not an option.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Giving up cannot be an option for you. You cannot
- 9:52Speaker 1: do that. You it's it's out of the question. It's
- 9:55Speaker 1: ain't conceivable in your mind to quit, because to quit,
- 9:59Speaker 1: it's of what what you get when you quit? Nothing?
- 10:04Speaker 1: That is a reward for those who hang in there,
- 10:07Speaker 1: who never give up, who forged through, who see it through,
- 10:11Speaker 1: Who getting knocked down and get back up, who gets
- 10:14Speaker 1: trampled but somehow gathers themselves and get back to your knees.
- 10:19Speaker 1: But stay in that place, man, don't ever give up.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Don't let go be encouraged. Think of all you've been through,
- 10:25Speaker 1: Think of all you come through, Think of all he's
- 10:27Speaker 1: done for you. Think of all the times you thought
- 10:30Speaker 1: you wasn't gonna make it. But somehow without you ever
- 10:33Speaker 1: even saying thank you. He got through He got you
- 10:35Speaker 1: through it anyway. That's that thing called grace. Now we
- 10:38Speaker 1: kind of need that in our life. All all I
- 10:42Speaker 1: need is a little more grace. You can't give God
- 10:46Speaker 1: no money for grace, man. Grace is absolutely free. It's
- 10:49Speaker 1: available to everybody, but you can't get none if you quit.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Don't give up. I'll just tell you that flat out.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Don't ever give up. You're listening to ladies and gentlemen,
- 11:04Speaker 1: boys and all the little girls. This is Steve Harvey
- 11:08Speaker 1: Morning Show. It's a Tuesday, which means absolutely nothing. We
- 11:18Speaker 1: didn't made it to another day. Fascinated, incredible week office,
- 11:26Speaker 1: all star, everything has happened. What's up everybody? Yea yeall weekend? Um,
- 11:37Speaker 1: that was it. That was my last world. No, I
- 11:40Speaker 1: can't say my last weekend off because I worked. And
- 11:47Speaker 1: this is one of the things I found out yesterday
- 11:50Speaker 1: was President. It's in the middle of Black History Month.
- 11:56Speaker 1: When Donald Trump starts reading and find out, that's what
- 12:02Speaker 1: something's gonna get. I don't know when he's gonna read
- 12:07Speaker 1: about this, because he just found out about Frederick Douglas.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Thank God, he's done so much don't let him know that.
- 12:15Speaker 1: But as soon as he started reading or see it
- 12:17Speaker 1: on Fox and find out that it's the same damn month,
- 12:21Speaker 1: something's gonna get changing. Ye, he's gonna move us to day.
- 12:32Speaker 1: I'm going to go, but it's a great time to
- 12:35Speaker 1: be black. The movie, Man, that movie. I love the
- 12:43Speaker 1: way people went to see the movie. But one of
- 12:45Speaker 1: them caught my eye on Instagram. This girl was with
- 12:52Speaker 1: two guys and her girlfriend and she had a basket
- 12:55Speaker 1: with rose pedals tossing it and they were walking with
- 12:58Speaker 1: this very regal looking woman in this gown with his
- 13:01Speaker 1: long hair, looked like Vanessa Bell Callaway. And when she
- 13:04Speaker 1: when they got to the doorway of the theater, they
- 13:07Speaker 1: hoisted up on their shoulders to carry her to her seat.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Boiler they founding the Yeah, a lot of people came dressed,
- 13:19Speaker 1: you know, as people in the characters that she's all
- 13:22Speaker 1: kinds of head wraps, things like that. If I could go,
- 13:26Speaker 1: I was gonna flip it. I was gonna wear a
- 13:29Speaker 1: black town, black turtle there, black coach, black gloves, black
- 13:35Speaker 1: shoes and boots. And actually was gonna go as my
- 13:39Speaker 1: big brother because one of my brothers was a panther
- 13:44Speaker 1: and one of my brothers was a black Nashalie. Yeah,
- 13:49Speaker 1: they grew up in that time. Yeah, my sister thought
- 13:51Speaker 1: it was a movie about the black and my brothers.
- 13:57Speaker 1: My brothers ain't racists at all. It was just for
- 14:01Speaker 1: what it was for and that it was for the
- 14:03Speaker 1: uplift of black people. That's where we looked, right. But
- 14:07Speaker 1: you know, the narrative got changed by the government, which
- 14:10Speaker 1: is the whole thing is switching the narrative of what
- 14:13Speaker 1: the organizations do. So at that, Yeah, you think Trump's
- 14:18Speaker 1: are this weekend up black? It is weird about this
- 14:29Speaker 1: Russian illusion? All right? Coming up, Junior is here with
- 14:37Speaker 1: truth be Told. That's for something after you're listening to
- 14:44Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Junior telling you truth tell?
- 14:48Speaker 1: What do you have for this morning? I do want
- 14:51Speaker 1: to say this. I'm very proud of the movie Black Pants. Yeah.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Now there was one tread the hope of the weekend
- 15:01Speaker 1: and this national anthem. I know it was bad, but
- 15:11Speaker 1: I'm just really have to talk about exactly Fergy singing
- 15:14Speaker 1: the national anthem at the All Star Did you see it?
- 15:18Speaker 1: It was the text all y'all, I saw your text.
- 15:22Speaker 1: You can't even repeat his tax set us back up.
- 15:30Speaker 1: I didn't. I felt as though when she was singing it,
- 15:34Speaker 1: I didn't know what we should salute or we should
- 15:36Speaker 1: crawl in babe, should have been he gave us a
- 15:40Speaker 1: sexy version was oh s. He was differently got the
- 15:53Speaker 1: big old tunes, the big old singe. If you just
- 16:00Speaker 1: saw people taking hands off their heart, Yeah, and he
- 16:03Speaker 1: was just going people's hands was dropping down and we're
- 16:05Speaker 1: supposed to be old to laughing. Draymond green Mouth can't
- 16:12Speaker 1: fall no further that that boy. I saw all he's done.
- 16:17Speaker 1: I think we have it. We played today, Let's play
- 16:19Speaker 1: it again. Catch we had against today? Black sad just
- 16:33Speaker 1: that star span boy or the least. Now see, that's
- 17:20Speaker 1: when she had got into it. Here's the question, Steve
- 17:23Speaker 1: Fergie Carl Lewis, that's the greatest one I've ever seen,
- 17:27Speaker 1: the call stand alone. Hold on, I'm gonna get it.
- 17:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna make it up to you. Give me chan
- 17:37Speaker 1: get it back, Lois. It's the best. Why was he
- 17:44Speaker 1: out there in the first place? He started off in
- 17:47Speaker 1: the wrong key, He left out the gate and the
- 17:50Speaker 1: wrong he never had he never had a key. No, no,
- 17:53Speaker 1: he did that right there. I'd rather say the wrong
- 17:56Speaker 1: name after pageant again, the song that damn song like that.
- 18:03Speaker 1: You rather go and the winner is and the winning
- 18:06Speaker 1: and just start looking right. But didn't say one of
- 18:10Speaker 1: the girls that ain't even up there in your last
- 18:13Speaker 1: handraman or something like that. That's quite a statement. Misland
- 18:18Speaker 1: half away, I'm trying to I mean, hold on, hold on,
- 18:26Speaker 1: not island, Miss Checkers, wait, hold on, hold on, no, no, no,
- 18:33Speaker 1: you go hello. Oh I'm gonna get hold on, hold on,
- 18:38Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, Mr Parris, no, my bad in
- 18:44Speaker 1: South Carolina. Hold on, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I got
- 18:52Speaker 1: it here. I'm gonna make it up to you. Mr
- 18:57Speaker 1: Columbia did that already. That's when they tried to lucis
- 19:03Speaker 1: the absolute worst of all time, not the absolute best
- 19:08Speaker 1: to me and Marvin Gay, hands down, and definitely that's
- 19:28Speaker 1: when they made the law you can't change because he
- 19:32Speaker 1: had he had say that thing, so he told us.
- 19:35Speaker 1: But beginning of Fergus it was so preffy. I was,
- 19:38Speaker 1: it was real. Yeah, I want to crawl. It's a
- 19:43Speaker 1: hard anyway it whether you're a singing or not. It's
- 19:47Speaker 1: a hard song sing. If you can sing it. It's
- 19:51Speaker 1: really but you shouldn't sing it. If you can't sing it.
- 19:54Speaker 1: I've seen some country worst singers just gonna do it
- 19:57Speaker 1: the way it is. Oh say, can you see bother?
- 20:06Speaker 1: Don't lie? Come on here. Country people just break it
- 20:12Speaker 1: that way. They're hard. They don't try to so prap
- 20:18Speaker 1: late wait Hel the twilight and they don't even gonna
- 20:25Speaker 1: high with her in the rockets. They just rockets, rack

- 25:05Speaker 1: lot of men are in denial saying that they got
- 25:07Speaker 1: to check and they got it. A lot of times
- 25:08Speaker 1: we find out they haven't, and and and there has
- 25:10Speaker 1: to be a reason. If I got you on my
- 25:12Speaker 1: list and it's paid, somebody has paid a hundred and

- 30:05Speaker 1: he do it? Your own prank c D? In Walmart?
- 30:08Speaker 1: Right now? Won't he do it? It's sitting on the ship.
- 30:10Speaker 1: Don't pay it, don't pay and look at and say
- 30:13Speaker 1: that go Timmy, won't grab you now? What's on it again? Yes?
- 30:20Speaker 1: Churst fall. I'm pranking Churiteople music this morning, saying all right,
- 30:33Speaker 1: ms and will be here with our national news coming
- 30:36Speaker 1: up right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:43Speaker 1: I'm sure you guys heard about this. We talked about
- 30:45Speaker 1: it yesterday. Thirteen Russians were indicted for their alleged roles
- 30:50Speaker 1: in trying to sway the results of the two thousand
- 30:52Speaker 1: sixteen presidential election. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, they were indicted. Our
- 30:58Speaker 1: government inducted him Mueller investigation. Yeah, okay, okay, where do
- 31:03Speaker 1: these Russians? Say, well, Russia, Yeah, yeah, it does. It
- 31:14Speaker 1: shined more light on the fact that they definitely had
- 31:17Speaker 1: some involvement, which we all know anyway. They're just you know,
- 31:20Speaker 1: getting their proof together. Although the indictment documents specifies that
- 31:24Speaker 1: um no one in the Trump campaign knowingly conspired with
- 31:28Speaker 1: the accused Russian. Yeah. Media commentators have characterized the announcement
- 31:34Speaker 1: as the tip of the iceberg, they say, and that
- 31:37Speaker 1: seems to have angered the president because with that statement,
- 31:41Speaker 1: you know, there's more to come. That's what that means,
- 31:43Speaker 1: There's more to come. Let me ask you again, I
- 31:45Speaker 1: ask you in the things and if if he was
- 31:51Speaker 1: they would have mentioned it. Okay, he wrote. This is
- 31:54Speaker 1: what the president wrote. I never said Russia did not
- 31:58Speaker 1: meddle in the election. Believe he said that. I believe
- 32:06Speaker 1: he did say Carla Friday, I said, I said it
- 32:18Speaker 1: maybe Russia or China or another country or group, or
- 32:24Speaker 1: it may be a four hundred pounds genius sitting in
- 32:26Speaker 1: bed and playing with his wallace is not a genius.
- 32:31Speaker 1: He's not a genius. She's four in the pounds, but
- 32:34Speaker 1: she's not a genius. Okay, let me clear up the
- 32:37Speaker 1: Russian hoax the President says was that the Trump campaign
- 32:41Speaker 1: colluded with Russia. It's no collusion. It's no collusion. It
- 32:44Speaker 1: never did. Okay, cool, Okay, cool. If we could just
- 32:48Speaker 1: get to the point of just ever what everybody knows
- 32:51Speaker 1: that they did meddle in the election, and fix that
- 32:55Speaker 1: and impose sanctions so it doesn't happen again, because there's
- 32:59Speaker 1: already the proof that they're trying to dabble into two
- 33:02Speaker 1: thousand like mid terms, so we gotta put a stop
- 33:06Speaker 1: to that. He's he fights so hard against collusion because
- 33:11Speaker 1: then it would make it seem as though his presidency
- 33:14Speaker 1: is invalid. But the law was passed even Trump won't
- 33:18Speaker 1: sign unless he got money sitting over there. So the
- 33:25Speaker 1: President saying, you know again, there's no clusion, delusion, delusion,
- 33:31Speaker 1: It's just crazy. Uh. He said a few minutes later.
- 33:34Speaker 1: If it was the goal of Russia to create discord, disruption,
- 33:38Speaker 1: and chaos within the US, then with all of the
- 33:40Speaker 1: committee hearings, investigations and party hatred, they have succeeded behind
- 33:44Speaker 1: their wildest beyond their wildest dreams. They are laughing. There
- 33:48Speaker 1: a s S is off in Moscow. First of all,
- 33:52Speaker 1: I don't spelling. I don't think he's tweeting secure. We
- 33:59Speaker 1: have enough people on this show to not spell out
- 34:02Speaker 1: as okay, people don't hear that fire that off so fast.
- 34:07Speaker 1: I don't know if you get to the point where
- 34:09Speaker 1: you feel as though you have to spell just to
- 34:11Speaker 1: look at using. Dude right here, fighter's off for you.
- 34:17Speaker 1: I'm a harsh dude. I'm mind has zs okay, because
- 34:25Speaker 1: we have to go to MSAN right now? What you
- 34:29Speaker 1: just okay? Can you go to mssan right? And how
- 34:35Speaker 1: that was your queue? Here? She is with putting the
- 34:43Speaker 1: news ms and trip whatever. Good morning everybody, This is
- 34:49Speaker 1: a twered for the news and Okay, here we go.
- 34:52Speaker 1: Dozens of students from Marjorie Stone and Douglas High School

- 34:58Speaker 1: the trip north to the state capital to Allahassee. The
- 35:00Speaker 1: teenagers are hoping to urge lawmakers to take action to
- 35:03Speaker 1: prevent new gun violence targeting the schools in the nation's capital. Yesterday,
- 35:07Speaker 1: some DC students showed solidarity with their peers in Florida
- 35:11Speaker 1: by conducting a lie. In what they did, they laid
- 35:14Speaker 1: down in the street in front of the White House
- 35:16Speaker 1: to protest the current gun laws. But before they did,
- 35:18Speaker 1: they read off a list of the victims of school
- 35:20Speaker 1: gun violence in schools over the past decade. It was
- 35:23Speaker 1: a long list. Meanwhile, the couple that took in the
- 35:25Speaker 1: alleged Florida shooter, Nicholas Cruz after his mother died of
- 35:29Speaker 1: the flu in November a Pewter. On ABC's Good Morning
- 35:31Speaker 1: America yesterday, Kimberly Sneet says she and her husband knew
- 35:34Speaker 1: he kept guns as they did, but they didn't know
- 35:37Speaker 1: what he was really planning, And they said they tried
- 35:39Speaker 1: to make sure things were secure. They weren't allowed to
- 35:41Speaker 1: be out if we weren't home or one of us
- 35:43Speaker 1: wasn't home. Um, and he knew that, and to our knowledge,
- 35:47Speaker 1: he never had them out. As far as the animals goes,
- 35:50Speaker 1: if he I am very much an animal person. Anybody
- 35:52Speaker 1: who knows me knows that there's no way I'd let
- 35:55Speaker 1: anybody in my house if I thought they was torturing animals. Again,
- 35:57Speaker 1: they didn't know what kind of kid he was. He
- 35:59Speaker 1: was a of their son. Crews appeared in court yesterday
- 36:02Speaker 1: as lawyer's attempted to get part of the case seal,
- 36:04Speaker 1: but the judge made no changes. He's still being held
- 36:06Speaker 1: without bail. The White House meet will now says President
- 36:08Speaker 1: Trump supports the proposal designed to strengthen the federal system
- 36:12Speaker 1: of background checks for potential gun buyers. That bill was
- 36:15Speaker 1: introduced last year after church shooting, but at the time
- 36:17Speaker 1: Trump was silent on it. The presidents to hold what's
- 36:20Speaker 1: billed as a listening session with students and teachers in
- 36:23Speaker 1: Florida and marl Meanwhile, there mayor pro tem of Dallas,
- 36:26Speaker 1: the city where the president President Kennedy was assassinated and
- 36:29Speaker 1: where five police officers were killed two years ago, says
- 36:33Speaker 1: the n r A needs to change the National Rifle
- 36:35Speaker 1: Association schedule a whole of national meeting in Dallas in May.
- 36:38Speaker 1: Mayor pro tem Dwayne Carroway is suggesting that they go
- 36:41Speaker 1: somewhere else unless they're prepared to take some steps to
- 36:43Speaker 1: protect us. The n r A need to step up
- 36:45Speaker 1: to the plate, and they need to show leadership. Elected
- 36:49Speaker 1: officials receiving dollars and support from the n r A
- 36:52Speaker 1: and afraid to set policy and to set the necessary
- 36:56Speaker 1: gun rules and responsibilities. Saraway says he's not against gonn
- 37:00Speaker 1: own A ship. He has five guns himself, but he
- 37:02Speaker 1: says there still needs to be some common sense rules
- 37:04Speaker 1: about stuff. It's official the movie Black Panther had the
- 37:07Speaker 1: hot fifth highest grossing film debut ever. This holiday weekend
- 37:11Speaker 1: of a third Old Country runs around and a bulletproof
- 37:14Speaker 1: cat suit a black punca leaves, that's all right, living
- 37:21Speaker 1: with three d sixty one million dollars what he brought
- 37:24Speaker 1: in so far back with more entertainment in today's trending topics.
- 37:27Speaker 1: Twenty minutes after the hour on the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:30Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. The thirty
- 37:34Speaker 1: three year old Lebron James was the oldest player in
- 37:37Speaker 1: the game at All Star, and his team won over
- 37:40Speaker 1: Team Steph to Onayer, I like the way they broke
- 37:46Speaker 1: the teams up. It's thirty three, Steve. He'd playing his
- 37:50Speaker 1: tail off. He don't look like he'd lost his step
- 37:54Speaker 1: at all. But what we also loved was Lebron's clap
- 37:59Speaker 1: back to Fox News anchor Laura Ingram. You guys heard
- 38:02Speaker 1: about this. Lebron and Kevin Durant had been criticizing President Trump,
- 38:06Speaker 1: saying he doesn't care about the people he's supposed to
- 38:09Speaker 1: be serving, and then uh news. Fox News anchor Laura
- 38:12Speaker 1: Ingram added her two cents and criticized them, insinuating that
- 38:16Speaker 1: they were ignorant and told them to shut up and dribble.
- 38:19Speaker 1: Here's Lebron's response, we will definitely not shut up and dribble.
- 38:23Speaker 1: I would definitely not do that. I mean too much
- 38:25Speaker 1: to um society. I mean too much to the youth.
- 38:27Speaker 1: I mean too much to the to so many kids
- 38:29Speaker 1: that feel like they don't have a way out and
- 38:31Speaker 1: they need someone to help lead them out of the
- 38:33Speaker 1: situation they're in. And that's why I would not just
- 38:35Speaker 1: shut up and dribble, because I mean too much to
- 38:38Speaker 1: my two boys here they're best friend right here, my
- 38:41Speaker 1: daughter that's at home, my wife, my family, and all
- 38:45Speaker 1: these other kids that look up to me for inspiration
- 38:47Speaker 1: and trying to find a way out. Yeah. And also,
- 38:51Speaker 1: you know her comment that they're not focusing on was
- 38:55Speaker 1: this is that he was so grammatically incorrect in what
- 38:59Speaker 1: he was saying. Just listen to his verbic She was
- 39:02Speaker 1: talking about the way he sounded. And this is what
- 39:04Speaker 1: happens when you don't finish high school. You know, I mean, lady,
- 39:08Speaker 1: he did finish high schools. He went straight to the NBA.
- 39:12Speaker 1: But see, here's what people do. They confused articulation with intelligence.
- 39:18Speaker 1: And I was sitting there listen to this, and the
- 39:20Speaker 1: thing that I had said was something Well said doesn't
- 39:24Speaker 1: have to be well spoken. I like that something Well
- 39:28Speaker 1: said don't have to be well spoken. So you're gonna
- 39:30Speaker 1: nickpick his comment and talk about grammatically incorrect he was
- 39:35Speaker 1: went hold on what he said was true, what he
- 39:38Speaker 1: said was fact. And what you did right there, that
- 39:42Speaker 1: that has racism on it. You know, you didn't. You
- 39:45Speaker 1: didn't finish school. You just play ball. You can't. You
- 39:48Speaker 1: don't sound that well. It just goes back to the
- 39:52Speaker 1: thing I say all the time, which one of these
- 39:55Speaker 1: sound best to you? I am broke, is rich, lebron
- 40:05Speaker 1: lebron is rich. I'm with you when you is right
- 40:09Speaker 1: now here. You don't want to all them schools and
- 40:13Speaker 1: where are you at? You so just go and you
- 40:17Speaker 1: don't do that that way? And then you and and
- 40:20Speaker 1: you ain't even making the money that the rest of
- 40:21Speaker 1: the news people making. Since you're clapping back on what
- 40:24Speaker 1: your little education. Here's lack of education. Everybody don't have
- 40:28Speaker 1: an education. Like all right, coming up, we're gonna talk
- 40:32Speaker 1: I know, coming up, we're gonna talk about how Black
- 40:35Speaker 1: Panther is smashing all box office records. Okay, yeah, growing
- 40:41Speaker 1: won't black dude. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Okay, Steve.
- 40:49Speaker 1: You know people are still riding high on the movie
- 40:52Speaker 1: Black Panther. I mean went to see it. You love
- 41:00Speaker 1: it so much support I mean in the black community
- 41:04Speaker 1: to to um, you know, to get this movie, to
- 41:08Speaker 1: see this movie. I mean, they was so good. So
- 41:10Speaker 1: oh my god, ba baby, it's bad. They back. They was,
- 41:17Speaker 1: they were away for a while, but they're back. Man.
- 41:21Speaker 1: I made so much money making that cheekys man, they
- 41:24Speaker 1: used to make so much money. You know I was
- 41:27Speaker 1: a tailor. Did they have pockets on? Well? At first
- 41:30Speaker 1: I couldn't do you keep you know what I'm saying,
- 41:34Speaker 1: always your weakness. He went right to your weakness. Man,
- 41:39Speaker 1: he's don't have pockets, and you don't need pockets. What
- 41:42Speaker 1: do you need petsy for? Because I'm paying you put
- 41:48Speaker 1: your phone? Came out of hand? No phone? Now put
- 41:54Speaker 1: your phone in the have nothing put in there? Put
- 41:58Speaker 1: in a great movie. I just want to see us
- 42:03Speaker 1: all do this when it's time to vote. I love
- 42:05Speaker 1: the dialect. Did you love it? If you speak to
- 42:10Speaker 1: me that way again, you're going to get in trouble.
- 42:13Speaker 1: I will tell you. I will feed you to my child.
- 42:15Speaker 1: I will feed you my d you know how Friday
- 42:17Speaker 1: here by Felicia, Heynt, It's don't go anyway. I just
- 42:28Speaker 1: want us to show up. It's it's an election year. Yes,
- 42:31Speaker 1: take all this momentum. They are people to vote at
- 42:35Speaker 1: the movie Let's do it. Yeah, a lot of places
- 42:39Speaker 1: are rich people to vote at the movie. I think
- 42:42Speaker 1: people are more and more realizing that their vote does count.
- 42:46Speaker 1: What happened with the election in Alabama when they were
- 42:50Speaker 1: trying to get this guy in here, and I was
- 42:51Speaker 1: out here baby watching and at the moment, you know what, man,
- 42:55Speaker 1: that's like, that's really alarming to me that we are
- 42:58Speaker 1: able to tolerate this and politics right now. And you know,
- 43:02Speaker 1: President Trump set the tone by admittedly saying what he said.
- 43:06Speaker 1: I mean, it's on tape. I grab a woman by
- 43:09Speaker 1: the pe he's in the White House. So now you're
- 43:13Speaker 1: trying to tell me that's okay for a man to
- 43:18Speaker 1: date underage girls. Forget that Alabama has this law which
- 43:24Speaker 1: oh my god, has to change. That has to change,
- 43:28Speaker 1: because there's not a man that I know living who
- 43:32Speaker 1: is okay with their daughter, their thirty thirty thirty some
- 43:40Speaker 1: year old man coming at some fifteen year old at
- 43:43Speaker 1: my fifteen years I come to my house and you're
- 43:46Speaker 1: thirty some years old, and and you date my daughter
- 43:50Speaker 1: at I'm to the house. No, no, no, no, if
- 44:00Speaker 1: come to the house, light up when I find out

- 56:49Speaker 1: like four years older than Steph's daddy, Dail Curry fifty seven.
- 56:53Speaker 1: That was my generation. We was in the same click.
- 56:55Speaker 1: He got out the car. We was dapping each other,

- 57:47Speaker 1: sweetest jumper in the history of the basketball. And he
- 57:50Speaker 1: ain't that tall, but he he got the handles and
- 57:53Speaker 1: he just gets one step away from you and he gone.
- 57:56Speaker 1: And I liked him. I love when he shoot it
- 57:59Speaker 1: and walked out of three point and turn and go
- 58:01Speaker 1: the other way. Do you know in all my light
- 58:04Speaker 1: you have to wait. I've never shot a basketball and
- 58:07Speaker 1: been able to turn around knowing it. Why you're going,
- 58:11Speaker 1: you need to rebound? That was my thing? Shoot? And father,
- 58:19Speaker 1: how is he that tall man? I was looking in

- 58:29Speaker 1: You gotta be kidding basketballs three. I'm sorry, that's a giant.
- 58:35Speaker 1: I forgot who I was talking. Hey, let me tell
- 58:43Speaker 1: you so one show I had the Major League Baseball

- 58:55Speaker 1: Kenny to Jet Smell, Charles Barkley, Shaquille O'Neil one all
- 59:00Speaker 1: on one side. Boy, that celebrity few right there, Boy,
- 59:07Speaker 1: you should have been at this one. Peace Foods was ignorant.
- 59:17Speaker 1: All right, Steve, let's go to let her nephew. Come on,
- 59:20Speaker 1: buggle up, hold on tight. We got it for you here.
- 59:22Speaker 1: It is a strawberry subject an eighteen year old boy
- 59:27Speaker 1: who knows no limits. Hi, Stephen, morning crew. I am
- 59:30Speaker 1: writing this letter because I am in total disbelief. My son,
- 59:35Speaker 1: who is eighteen, knows no limits. My husband and I
- 59:39Speaker 1: had built quite a collection of porn DVDs. I had
- 59:43Speaker 1: noticed over the years that some had walked away, but
- 59:46Speaker 1: never really paid it any attention. Now I realize we
- 59:50Speaker 1: are down to four DVDs. Four. He is my only
- 59:55Speaker 1: child and my husband's stepson. When my son was younger,
- 59:59Speaker 1: I caught him looking at porno on my TV while
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: I was asleep. I kicked his butt. He is the
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: only one here that could have taken them. My question
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: is is it normal that a young man would steal
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: porno DVDs knowing that his parents had watched and enjoyed them.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: I feel I should confront his behind, no matter how
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: embarrassing this situation is. I would not dare creep into
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: my parents sex lives when I was his age. First
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: of all, it would be disgusting. You know, young men, Steve,
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: what do you think? Jokes aside? Signed utterly disgusted. All right,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: utterly disgusted. You did catch him when he was younger
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: watching it on TV, so I don't know why you
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: wouldn't be uh, why you wouldn't suspect him now? I mean,
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: it seems he is the one who did it. Okay
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: to your question, is it normal for a young man
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: to steal porn? And my question is is anything normal
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: going on at your house? Or maybe this is normal
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: to him. You guys have been doing it since he
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: was little, so he probably thought nothing of it. You know,
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: I don't know that he placed the judgment on who
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: who watches them and who enjoys them. He probably just
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: wanted to do the same thing, watch them and enjoy them.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: You know, I don't really know an answer to this,
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: really he knows no limits. He's eighteen, he's I don't
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: know Steve. Oh you just threw with this. I know
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: I don't know them. Because really, just let us come stupid,
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: and who deal with it? Let's just deal with it,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: asked what it is? Just let us stupid? Okay? Cool.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: First of all, you're pointing a finger at the wrong
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: person all throughout the letter. You got an eighteen year
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: old and knows no limits. I think we gotta set
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: the parents that don't know no damn limits. That's who
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: don't see the limit. First of all, my husband and
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: I had built quite a collection of Poeing DVDs. Well, congratulations,
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: I'm happy for you. But then you say you've noticed
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: over the years that some had walked away, but never
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: really paid an attention. Okay, excuse me, excuse me. You're
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: and your husband build quite a collection of DVDs. It's
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: only one other person living in the house, and you
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: noticed they walking away, but you don't pay it any attention.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: Any woman would have go, is my husband taking these
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: DVDs to work? What is he sharing these DVDs with
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: someone else? And then you come down to the conclusion
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: that it's your son taking him. But you you gotta
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: come to that conclusion. But you don't pay that no
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: attention because you're all so busy getting your freak on
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: with the DVD collection. When I come back, I got
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: some more news for you too. We'll have part two
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: of Steve's response coming up at twenty three after the hour.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright, subject of
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: the Strawberry letter and eighteen year old boy who knows
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: no limits? Is this little boy that got into his
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: mother and father's horn collection of d vds? Not a
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: lady didn't say anything. They had a big, sizeable collection.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: Then when it gets down to four, she wants to
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: now it's the boy who's taking them? Who else did
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: you think was taking? And why would you wait so long?
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: And now she caught the boy looking at point on
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: my TV and then kicked his butt. And then she
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: asked me, is it normal that a young man was
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: still point on DVDs knowing here is a troubling thing
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: about this letter? Is it normal that a young man
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: was still point on DVDs knowing that his parents had
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: watched and enjoyed them. What difference do it make if
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: you was using them for scientific study. What what does
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: that have to do with it? The fact that he
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: has the DVDs is the deal. The fact that he
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: can get to the DVDs, y'all at and now this
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: whole thing. She signs this letter utterly disgusted. She's disgusted
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: because she says, now, listen to this, I would not
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: dare creep into my parents sex lives when I was
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: his age. First of all, it would be disgusting. Okay, granted,
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: nobody wants to walk in the room and see their
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: mama legs. All right, let's just get that out, okay, Okay,
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: really keeping it real. No, I mean, honestly, if nobody
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: want to walk in and see their mama, Okay, now,
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: I got that. But you're saying that I wouldn't dare
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: creep into my parents sex life first of all, it
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: would be disgusting, signed, utterly disgusted. Excuse me, ma'am. Why
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: are you not ashamed of this? How was this just
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: disgusting to you? How is it that all you can
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: do is be disgusted with your son that he would
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: be watching tapes that he knew me and my husband
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: had enjoyed together. He don't know why y'all got to tapes.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: All he knows is day in the house, and y'all
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: must think it's all right. So now he think it's
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: all right? And is it normal for an eighteen year
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: old boy? Lady, let me hip you the same year
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: old boys. Please let me help you understand something. If
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: you think it's just at the DVD stage out of
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: your mind? Do you know why an eighteen year old
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: boy is watching the DVD because he got it on
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: his mind. But let me tell you something. He didn't
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: have it on his mind since he was fourteen. His
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: body is doing some things while he's sleep. He him
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: and m DVDs is dreaming together. He is he is
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: the most with himself at night with the DVDs. He's
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: having a relationship. There's several people in them DVDs. Why
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: he's sleep all right? Steve, We gotta get out of here.
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: You can email us or Instagram. That's your thoughts. Today's

- 1:06:23Speaker 1: guys were, I know, watching the All Star Game trying
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: to figure out what was going on. We talked about
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: this earlier with Fergie and this national anthem. I started addressing, Yeah,
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: where were you watching the old TV? Next handle shirt on?
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: I said, she keeps like this because it did look
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: like something go down us see, oh boy, yeah, she
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: was to take a shower after Wow, the shower after that.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: That was just too much. Let me drop a little
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: call on, you know, just to make you feel good.
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: Can I drop a little call a little because it
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: was the greatest, worst of all, the greatest worst. I
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: don't know, Oh shame stop it. He and wrong key
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: right there, see right there, it's a gospel. You know
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: how he did that? You flat boy? Free stay that.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: Everybody know you're posted to go up right and it's
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: the worst one. Elver that boy. And then never heard
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: that before? You ain't ever heard this sooner? No, you know,
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: I had never now I know, but prior to y'all
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: telling me that absolutely hold on, hold on, hold on,
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: give me a chance. Now wait a minute. Anyway, hold way,
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: he did this one time, sho he didn't know he
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: he hit a note, his asset himself. Hold up where
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: that came from? That boy tasted that note? M you
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: know when you do that to yourself? Yeah, but boy,
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: let me tell y'all something. On March first show time,
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: I that Apolo was back. Yeah, I've been you're clowning.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. Season I believe which one
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: was it? That I'm more ignorant at sixty then I
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: was when I first got on because I didn't I
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: didn't know what my limits was. I don't, I got,
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: I got. I don't give a damn shows. Not that
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: no brainer that you're yeah, you're you're way worse. You
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: gotta see this n trillo quist that comes on, this
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: white lady coming on the show. It's one of the worst.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: But wasn't there. I believe that I can't even tell
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: you that this is one of the worst. If I
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: if you want to hear the story, I'll tell you
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: all right, when we come back, suffers from anxiety. Just
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: remember that when we come back, we come back. Steve's
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: gonna tell us his Apollo story. You're listening, all right, Steve,
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: we're back now. You set us up with the story
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: about Apollo. Okay, you've got to see this man Toilquist
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: that comes on the show. It's a white lady and
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: her dummy is white. Now that's okay. That's happened before
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: and it went really well. But the Apollo on is now.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: Instead of the contestants coming from the side of the stage,
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: that comes from the back of the room. So we
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: have the log that you're supposed to rub at the
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: top of the steps. So they come down on the left,
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: my left side of the stage. They come down the aisle,
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: they walk up the steps, and they rubbed the log.
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: You know, if you don't rub the log, you already
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: know because there's a whole story behind the tree. I'll
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: give you that someone. So here she comes down. Now
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: the producers have come to me before this woman walks
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: out and go, Steve, we're gonna have to take it
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: easier on that she suffers from anxiety. So I said,
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: what's want me to do? I mean, you want me
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: to interview her softer? I said, Oh, I can't. Oh,
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: you want me to tell the audience oh no, no, no, no,
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: you can't tell audience. I said, Well, this ain't gonna help.
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: I said, because it's the audience we need to talk to.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: It ain't me. I'm just gonna interview. It's these people
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: that control what stay out of here is who we
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: need to tell this to. Okay, Steve, I don't think
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: legally we can say that she has a mental disorder. Okay,
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: But I said, but can't tell y'all something. This ain't
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: the place to come. It's something wrong with you. If
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: you have something wrong with you, this ain't what you
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: need to come. So she comes down the aisle. The
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: mannequin is white. Now she didn't decide it. So she
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: coming to the apollo. She's gonna dress the dummy black.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: So she puts a really bad afrowig on the dummy,
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: but the front of the dummy hair still sticking out,
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: so you can see the white, regular straight hair under
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: this afrow. And then she put a dude rag on
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: his head and a gene outfit throon that. She came
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: down the aisle. Black people tight now the back and
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: it can't see her yet because she's coming down the eye.
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: But the people down there just you know, they're mumbering.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: Then she came up and she forgot right away to
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: rub the law. So the bulling starts, So does the
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: bullet start. The anxiety is in full blast. I'm talking
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: about man, this woman is. She's shaking the dumb it.
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: The mouth or the dumba just open wide up like
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: the dumb the dumb it said, the afrows cocked, the
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: white hair sticking her money, and the mouth or the
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: dumba is wide open like that's hedn't forgotten. She's aventulic
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: where she says, oh my God, give give us a chance.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: And the dummy wants no part in the dummy mouth
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: wide open. So the bullingness cascade down. And I mean,
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: the bulling is so hard. I'm looking at him like, man, y'all.
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: I wanted to say, I wanted to try to stop it,
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: but it was to the board started. I never interviewed
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: or nothing. She ran off stage. Oh my goodness, okay,
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: but she on the side of the stage, not back
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: down the aisle. She ran off on the side of
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: the stage where you go when you get bulled. Now say, man,
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: ain't even came out here, because that's how ugly it
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: didn't got She just runs off. Now she's over the
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: side of the stage. I could see her. They're trying
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: to get medical attention. This woman is shaking so bad.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: He ain't doing nothing but holding the dumb by his
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: as the dummy has no life in him. The dummy
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: just outside. She got his hand on his ad So
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: I try to calm Croy down. I go over there
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: to see if the lady okay, she's not. They're talking
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: about ambulance all this here because they don't know what
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: to do. They're back their triffic. So I come back
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: and I said it, Hey, y'all, y'all, hey stop. I'm
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: the only person at the Apollo that they will not boot.
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: Think Steve Harvey the only one everybody else gets So
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: all right, what now, cat, You're gonna have to bleep
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: this because it's the only way I can tell it.
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: So I said, hey, y'all, let me share something with you.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: I said, the producers came to me and told me
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: about the problem she had. I said, I wanted to
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: share the problem with you all, but the producers told
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: me not. So she can get herself together. I'm a
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: bring him back out, but you all will be aware
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: of the problem. That she has. So to dude, say
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: what is it? So? I said it so? I said,
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: she suffers from anxiety. He said, ah, Steve, that's all them.
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: We all got anxiety. I can't argue with that. What
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: else you got, Steve? Just call them that we all
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: got anxiety. I love it. Man. Afterwards, over said Steve,
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: what is anxiety? That's funny. Right after Steve, what is anxiety?
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: Hey man, I don't so. This lady was a nurse.
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: She still it up and told him. She said, yeah,
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: you're okay, then go get us Stave. No, this woman
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: was through, No, she was. It was the worst thing
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: I've ever seen. A night man. Probably still have a
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: night she she's in trouble. Well, Apollo this new season,
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: y'all listen to me, it's prime time. I have been
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: telling them for years that the Apollo should be on
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: prime time. Oh no, no, no no. Then here come
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: American Idol, here come the voice, here come all of that.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: But the Apolo was the real, right, we swear it
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: all came from the later come to well the ball.
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: The booing is barbarry not, it's just what we do
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: up here were the jelish Fox is trying to figure
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: out to just do it. Yeah, we don't need no judges.
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: The audio sister Jell, you don't need Simon, you don't
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: need nobody. And they used it right, Yeah, all right,
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: they really are. All right, Steve, coming up, you wanted
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: to tell us about what you gave up for lent.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: We'll talk about that too when we come back. You're
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright. We're in
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: the beginning kind of or the second week or so
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: of Lenten season, Steve. And normally normally when we talk
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: about lent, is that yeah, Ash Wednesday starts. Yeah, so, Steve,
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: you were gonna tell us what you gave away, what
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: you gave up for lent this year. That's what I
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: gave up for little and I'm extending it throughout the
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: year because people will give up different things, you know,
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: food things. I'm not purchasing a single cigar for litt
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: and for the rest of the year, I will purchase
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: not a single cigar. Is Yeah, you're just not gonna
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: buy now. When you received cigars, they give them to you.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: That's the problem too many people. But then you have
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: to shut it down. You gotta say I'm not taking
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: anyone sig us. No you I said, I wasn't gonna buy.
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: But if you get them for free, that's late still
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: buying them. But I give them the people. I can't.
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: You can't stop my re gifting program. But normally who
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: whoa whoa what I said? Whoa ain't whoa? Where in
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: the Bible does it says judge not. I'm trying to
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: figure out how all of a sudden, who a person
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: who has never given anything up for the lint is
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: deciding to give up something for now? We got a
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: problem with the gigs. You're giving up not buying anymore
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: cigars for the rest of the year. I will not
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: purchase cigard And I'm going to place why. I normally
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: like one of my summer vacation I'm in Europe, I
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: go that took by okay, all right, so you're not
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: gonna buy? Is that an expensive? Very expensive habit? They
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: got stickers? There's two hundred dollars a stick. Did you
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: give up not giving me no more sticks? For no,
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: I'm I'm a gil stuff that's all I want. But
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: for me, that's big. I don't know where y'all let
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: with it, you know, George, Well, you don't give up
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: some tough like cussing or something like that. Why would
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: I give up cussing? Explain that to me. Yeah, I
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: didn't cust one time for three days. Man, I had
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: so many my grainy It was not that was nauseous
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: because people were people were saying stuff to me. But
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: and I mean, but they was taking advantage of and
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: it was just saying stuff to me, and nothing wouldn't
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: come out because once I found out if I quit
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: cussing pretty much talking because but on a lot of
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: my day to day conversation with dudes, I know, the
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: the opening word is usually you know, the big one,
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: what's up? Blank? Blank? What's up? I get a lot
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: of them and something all right, you know I'm not
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: normally I don't cuss or nothing like that. This one
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: made me so angry. Though President Trump says Oprah isn'tsecure.
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: President insecure. I mean, that's what we got a lot
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: of nerves, you know. She a segment of sixty minutes
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: on CBS She's she asked a panel of Michigan voters
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: about Trump's first year in office. Segment was actually a
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: follow up to another six months ago in which the
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: same people same fourteen people appeared on the show. Although
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: the group were split evenly between Trump supporters and Trump detractors,
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: the President seemed to feel the whole thing was just biased. Okay,
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: so he went after Oprah. He tweeted this was what
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: he tweeted Sunday night. This was late. Just watched a
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: very insecure Oprah Winfrey, who at one point I knew
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: very well, uh, interview a panel of people on sixty minutes.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: The questions were biased in slant it, the facts incorrect.
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: Hope Oprah run so she can be exposed and defeated,
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: just like all of the others. That's what he tweeted.
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: And we all know that Oprah said she's not gonna run.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: Come on, if and Donald Trump is going to run again.
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: If this country elects Donald Trump for a second term,
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: we are then morally bankrupt. Period. Now, he lost the
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: first election in the majority vote. Right, if the Democratic
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: Party does not learn from their mistakes. First of all,
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: the reason Trump is president is because the Republican Party
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: spent eight years hating President Obama and they spent no
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: time developing a new candidate. The Democrats are doing the same. No,
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: we have no one because right Now what we're doing
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: is we're spending everyday hating Donald Trump, just trying to
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: dislodge and stop anything he do, put all the negative
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: spin on everything he did, which don't take much and
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: instead of who is going to be our Candida that's
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: in the first place, because but she's not. If if
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: they can get Joe Biden I vote in a minute,
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: If they could get Joe Biden to run, they would
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: have a shot. The sound bites would be excellent. May
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: blank blank Trump, Yes, fight, go with it, you know, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: Do you think he's up to it though? That's what
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: I don't know, because he did run for president, you
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: know years ago he's and he lost. Yeah, but d
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: come back. Oh no, no, no, no, no, no no.
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: You can never run a third time. You ain't. Hum
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: but Humphrey, them days been. But let me ask you
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: this right here. Can I ask you a question when
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: we come back. Are you all familiar with the Carnivals story? Yeah?
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: Can you all give me that information when we come back,
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: because what happened on the Carnival Cup that was a
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: huge man crew every Yeah, people were fighting each other.
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: It was crazy. You see that yesterday, HD Man, that's
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: what great man. All right, when we come back, we're
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: gonna do you want to talk about the Carnival cruise fight.
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: I want to talk about that. You're listening to the
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. We talked about this Carnival cruise situation.
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: This is kind of what happened. It doesn't necessarily say
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: how it got started, but attend. A Carnival cruise of
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: the South Pacific turned into a floating fight club last
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: week when a series of brawls broke out on board.
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: Up to thirty passengers were injured. Let me take some notes.
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: Carnival Cruise of the South Pacific right there, okay, turned
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: into a floating fight club last week when a series
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: of brawls broke out on board. Up to thirty passengers
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: were injured on what some have described as the Cruise
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: from Hell. All right, I've been on the Cruise from Hell.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: Go right ahead, the crew. I'm not gonna do it.
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: I just got I was a little late on that one, Jay,
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: I just got that one. The cruise line later apologized, Steve.
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: Some guests essentially locked themselves in their rooms aboard the
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: Carnival Legend to avoid the violence. Several outlets reported fights
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: have been going on for a few days now. Twenty
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: three passengers were removed by police during an unscheduled stop
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: in Eating Australia or disruptive and violent at yeah, because
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: I can clear. Okay, wait. At least one person can
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: be seen on video giving the finger to the ship
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: from a police boat. Now. This is according to Australia's
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: nine News. One passenger told nine News that there were
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: multiple fights, with aggressors threatening to stab people and throw
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: them overboard. All right, let me bring some clarity to
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: all of my radio listeners. Y'all can chill. This is
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: not about us. Okay, this ain't us. First of all,
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: they was in the South Pacific. We don't even go there.
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: That's Asian Malaysia, the Philippines. We went to Philippines last
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: year from Miss America, from Miss Universe. Not a single
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: black person over there, so we can relax. They described
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: this as a floating fight club. When black people get
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: on boats, we'd be still. We're not in there fighting.
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: Turn it over first of all, to get your ass still,
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: you're making about rock first of all, that's I'm all
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: these things. Let's me know there were no blacks involved
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: with that and then that was the next description was
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: that was a series of brawl. Yeah, we is one
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: ass shipping people. We threw up, Yeah, just cause we
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: fight toll this winner. So we gotta come back to Maro.
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: You threw nothing. We don't come back. We want to
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: ask whipping people. So that series of brawl. These are
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: people that don't know how to close a fight. I
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: don't know how to win a fight. The next thing
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: I knew, come on the gas were locking themselves in
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: the cabin on the boat. That's right after that first
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: big boat ride we had coming over here. We're not
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: getting locked in. No damn well, another damn ship that
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: right there, my friends, has no appeal to us. You
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: want to tell you one more thing. And the company,
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: the company meaning Carnival Cruise Line, said that they were
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: offering passengers credit on future crew. We're not coming back.
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: Never get another black person on that boat come back
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: out here. You know we can't swell. That's a frighting
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: on the day mess around fall off. Yes, you're right
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: to Steve. Several travelers have already declined that offer. For
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: We'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. So I'm
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: sure you guys heard about this. We talked about it yesterday.
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: Thirteen Russians were indicted for their alleged roles in trying
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: to sway the results of the two thousand sixteen presidential election. Yeah. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: they were indicted. Our government inducted him the Mueller investigation. Yeah, okay, okay,
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: where do these Russians say? Russian? Yeah, yeah, it does.
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: It shines more light on the fact that they definitely
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: had some involvement, which we all know anyway. They're just
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: you know, getting their proof together. Although the indictment documents
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: specifies that um, no one the Trump campaign knowingly conspired
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: with the accused Russian Yeah. Media commentators have characterized the
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: announcement as the tip of the iceberg, they say, and
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: that seems to have angered the president because with that statement,
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: you know, there's more to come. That's what that means.
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: There's more to come. But let me let me ask
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: you again. In the third No, if if he was,
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: they would have mentioned it, Okay, he wrote. This is
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: what the president wrote. I never said Russia did not
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: meddle in the election. He learned believe he said that.
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: I believe he did say learn I Cala Friday there,
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: I said, I said it maybe Russia or China or
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: another country or group, or it may be a four
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: pound genius sitting in bed and playing with his wallace
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: is a genius. He's not a genius. She's four in
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: the pounds, but she's not a genius. Okay. Let the
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: Russian hux, the President says, was that the Trump campaign
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: colluded with Russia. No collusions, collusion never. Okay, cool, okay, cool.
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: If we could just get to the point of just
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: ever what everybody knows that they did meddle in the election,
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: and fix that and impose sanctions so it doesn't happen again,
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: because there's already proof that they're trying to dabble in
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: the two thousand like mid terms, So we gotta put
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: a stop to that. He's he fights so hard against
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: collusion because then it would make it seem as though
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: his presidency is invalid. But the Russian law was passed,
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: even Trump won't sign. The people won't sign unless he
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: got money sent over there. So the President saying, you
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: know again, there's no clusion, delusion, delusion, it's just crazy. Uh.
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: He said a few minutes later. If it was the
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: goal of Russia to create discord, disruption, and chaos within
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: the US, then with all of the committee hearings, investigations,
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: and party hatred, they have succeeded behind their wildest beyond
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: their wildest dreams. They are laughing. There a s s
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: is off in Moscow. First of all, I don't smart
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: what are you spelling? I don't think he's tweeting secure.
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: We have enough people on this show to not spell
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: out as okay, people don't hear that fire that also fast.
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: I don't know if you get to the point where
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: you feel as though you have to spell at dude
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: right here, fighters off for you. I'm a harsh I'm
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: mind has zs okay, all right, when we come back,
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: you don't want to miss Steve Harvey's closing remarks. It
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: is something in it for everyone. I guarantee you remarks.
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: When we come back. You're listening to Steve show. We
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: are back, last break of the day. It was a
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: good day when you guys say, covered a lot of ground.
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: Today it's so much going on right now, Black Black Panther. Well,
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: you know we didn't want to leave you with just
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: that we also have We're gonna put a button on it.
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: With Steve's closing remarks, he has something insightful. Here's something
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: I was thinking about over the weekend in light of
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: the shooting down in Florida, another tragedy. Um. I've been
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: listening to the politicians and what they say, and one
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: of the stands that the Republican Party has taken is
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: is that the argument that they've had for years is
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: there's no way to police the five million assault rifles
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: that's already out on the streets. So for us to
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: try to curtail that, it's nearly impossible. How do we
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: get and go from house to house trying to compress,
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: confiscate the five million assault rifles that's already out there.
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: That's the argument. Well, Don Lemon said it best. Nobody's
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: trying to take the five million off the street, but
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: how do we stop them from selling six million? See
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: the five million that's out there and got us to
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: this point, how many people in churches got to die,
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: how many people in schools got to die, how many
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: people going to watch the movie got to die? How
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: many people go to enjoy an outdoor concert got to die?
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: Before we do something about these assault rifles that's out
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: here about our gun laws. So I was sitting up
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: here thinking, if the n i A is the largest
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: lobbyist in d C, they are the lot. They give
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: more money to the Republican National Committee than does anyone
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: else because the Republican National Committee stands on the Second Amendment,
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: the right to bear arms. Okay, well, let's not not
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: the Second Amendment, because I don't want to piss anybody off.
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: But let's talk about this though. So since all of
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: these people who run benefit from the campaign contributions of
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: the n i A, the National Rifle Association, which represents
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: all of the gunmaker Smith and Wilson's, Cobalt, uh barretta, Chester,
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: all of them, they repeatedly sell these guns. So since
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: they controlled their best interests, which are to sell as
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: many guns as they can, to make as much profit
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: as they can, how do these Congressmen and senators keep
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: taking this money? Well, because they control them by saying this,
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: if you vote or bring up any legislature that knocks
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: down the Second Amendment, what we'll do is we'll stop
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: making contributions. We'll make sure that you won't get a
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: dollar towards your campaign, and we will take those money
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: and directed over immediately to those who are running against you.
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: We'll put another Republican. We'll put another Republican in place
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: of you, who will do this. So that's how they
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: control them. So let's take, for example, in Florida, whether
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: this incident happened. Who's been real quiet about this whole thing?
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: Is Mark Rubio or who couldn't stand Donald Trump talked
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: about how unqualified he was and he should be president. Well,
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: he's been pretty quiet about this, But the students at
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: that school ain't been quiet about it too, because they
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: happen to know that Rubio has had three million dollars
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: in contributions given to him through the National Committee, through
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: the National Rifle Association. All right, so now here's the deal.
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: So how do we come back the system? We who
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: are regular people, who are everyday people, can go to
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: each politician that's running and we could say this to them.
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: If you don't put a gun law in place, if
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: you don't come up with the comprehensive plan bipartisan that
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: would make everybody happy, including us, we're not going to
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: vote for you. Now. I won't give a damn who
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: didn't put the money behind you. They came buy our
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: vote because these are our kids. Imagine if the voters
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: got together and said, until we find politicians who are
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: going to put forth some type of gun controls, I
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: don't care if it's bipartisans that can help us feel
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: safer sending our children to school, going to our churches,
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: going to watch a movie, and going to concerts outside.
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: We are not going to vote for you unless we
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: hear your plan for gun control. Now, the n r
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: A can take that money and redirect it over to
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: the other candidate too, but he's gonna be held to
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: the same task. If you, who they've decided to put
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: their money behind, do not come to us with a
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: comprehensive gun controlled plan, we are not voting for you,
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: and you gotta say that. And this upcoming election, we
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: are to say that. We are to say it to everybody.
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: If this is the platform we want to address our
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: children's safety in school. Look all of us, all us
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: on this show. We've got kids, grandkids. The thought of
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: sending them to school and they're not coming home is unthinkable.
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: Because we refuse to addressed the problem, we sell more
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: guns in the United States than any country in the world.
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: We have the largest prison population of any country in
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: the world, and we don't know where near the biggest country.
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: Something wrong here. We're going about it the wrong way.
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: But these guns out on these streets. So what is
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: five million assault rifles out there? We haven't had five
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: million attacks. But what we're gonna do. What we're waiting
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: on the next attack from the next food to get
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: their hands on the gun. It's a whole lot we
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: can do. But the one thing we can do this
- 1:38:35Speaker 1: year in two thousand and eighteen, we can vote. And
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: if you ain't voting for gun laws and good gun control,
- 1:38:40Speaker 1: we ain't voting for you. Now, they can put their
- 1:38:42Speaker 1: money behind you if they want to, But when they
- 1:38:44Speaker 1: put their money all behind you, you ain't got no votes.
- 1:38:47Speaker 1: We win, and that's the way we win. We win
- 1:38:49Speaker 1: by voting. That's gonna be the plan in two thousand
- 1:38:52Speaker 1: and eighteen. For all Steve Harvey contests, no purchase necessary
