Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome. It is verdict was Senator Ted Cruz ben Ferguson
- 0:04Speaker 1: with you as always and Senators so you guys worked
- 0:08Speaker 1: late into the evening. As I guess, the big guy
- 0:12Speaker 1: in charge the Senate decided, let's cram some more bad
- 0:15Speaker 1: bills down the throats of Americans while they're not paying
- 0:17Speaker 1: attention on a Friday night.
- 0:19Speaker 2: What all went down, Well, that's exactly right. We had
- 0:22Speaker 2: a late night voting session Friday night went till two
- 0:25Speaker 2: in the morning, and it was really astonishing. The Democrats
- 0:29Speaker 2: doubled down on open borders, they doubled down on weakness
- 0:32Speaker 2: towards Iran, they doubled down on anti Israel bias, they
- 0:37Speaker 2: doubled down on extremism. These Dems have decided they know
- 0:40Speaker 2: which side their bread is buttered, and it is the
- 0:42Speaker 2: open border, radical leftist view. And we saw vote after
- 0:45Speaker 2: vote after vote that every Democrat, like Lemmings, jumped off
- 0:49Speaker 2: the cliff of these extreme positions, including a whole bunch
- 0:52Speaker 2: of Democrats who are on the ballot in November. Those
- 0:55Speaker 2: vote votes Friday night are going to be front and
- 0:57Speaker 2: center in every one of those races. Not only that,
- 1:01Speaker 2: but we also have the state of Michigan. This is
- 1:05Speaker 2: actually quite remarkable. The state of Michigan is offering you
- 1:08Speaker 2: five hundred dollars to house an illegal alien in your home.
- 1:12Speaker 2: This is the taxpayers of Michigan. This is their response
- 1:15Speaker 2: to Biden's open borders is hey, five hundred bucks, and
- 1:18Speaker 2: you too can have an illegal alien in your home.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Just hope it doesn't have to be a criminal illegal alien.
- 1:24Speaker 2: And finally, we're going to talk today about the Biden
- 1:27Speaker 2: administration putting out written guidance in their National Intelligence Agency
- 1:32Speaker 2: saying no longer refer to radical Islamic terrorism as well
- 1:37Speaker 2: Islamic that that offends their politically correct sensitivities. And so
- 1:42Speaker 2: if we can just remove any reference to Islam from
- 1:47Speaker 2: Palestinian Islamic Jahad, from Jahad, from isis, from al Qaeda,
- 1:54Speaker 2: just omit their motivation, that would be a lot better
- 1:58Speaker 2: for them politically. If they could just have the entire
- 2:01Speaker 2: intelligence agencies ignore what's actually going on.
- 2:05Speaker 1: It is sad, but it's true. It's really there in writing,
- 2:07Speaker 1: and we're going to go through all of it. Let

- 3:39Speaker 1: Center Usually you guys come back on Thursdays. That's kind
- 3:44Speaker 1: of the normal working schedule for the Senate. All of
- 3:46Speaker 1: a sudden, they throw a bunch of stuff into Friday
- 3:49Speaker 1: that take the trash out day, so no one's paying attention.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Everybody's off for the weekend, and you guys were voting
- 3:55Speaker 1: late into the night. This had to also deal with
- 3:59Speaker 1: the issue of a another possible government shut down. So
- 4:02Speaker 1: how bad did the American people get screwed?
- 4:06Speaker 2: Well? Very badly. What happened was Chuck Schumer was trying
- 4:08Speaker 2: to ram through the trillion dollar plus massive omnibus government
- 4:13Speaker 2: funding bill, and we were there all day Friday, and
- 4:16Speaker 2: a lot of us, a lot of the Republicans opposed
- 4:18Speaker 2: this bill, and we introduced a whole series of amendments,
- 4:21Speaker 2: and we wanted votes on the amendments, and Schumer had
- 4:24Speaker 2: a problem because the amendments we were seeking votes on
- 4:27Speaker 2: are eminently reasonable, their common sense, they're overwhelmingly popular with
- 4:31Speaker 2: the American people, and his Democrats that are on the
- 4:36Speaker 2: ballot November were terrified of voting for these amendments. So
- 4:40Speaker 2: we spent all day Friday just in paralysis because Schumer
- 4:44Speaker 2: didn't know what to do, and Schumer didn't know what
- 4:45Speaker 2: to do, and in particular, John Tester in Montana really
- 4:51Speaker 2: really really didn't want to vote on these amendments. Chared
- 4:53Speaker 2: Brown in Ohio really really really didn't want to vote
- 4:57Speaker 2: on these amendments. Jackie Rosen and Nevada didn't want to
- 5:00Speaker 2: vote on these amendments. Tammy Baldwin Wisconsin didn't want to
- 5:03Speaker 2: vote on these amendments. Bob Casey in Pennsylvania didn't want
- 5:06Speaker 2: to vote on these amendments. So we spent all day
- 5:08Speaker 2: Friday just in limbo. I actually spent a good chunk
- 5:11Speaker 2: of the day Friday playing basketball because we just had
- 5:14Speaker 2: nothing else to do, so I played hoops while while
- 5:16Speaker 2: Schumer and the Democrats trying to figure their stuff out. Finally,
- 5:21Speaker 2: late at night Friday night, Schumer decides, all right, screw it,
- 5:26Speaker 2: We're gonna take all the votes and I'm going to
- 5:29Speaker 2: force all my members to cast every terrible vote they can.
- 5:34Speaker 2: And you know what, We're so confident that the media
- 5:36Speaker 2: is corrupt. They can cast these votes and no one
- 5:38Speaker 2: will know. So let me walk through some of these votes,
- 5:41Speaker 2: because it is astonishing. One of the very first votes
- 5:45Speaker 2: was an amendment I had, and my amendment was very simple.
- 5:48Speaker 2: My amendment would have barred the Biden administration from sending
- 5:52Speaker 2: billions of dollars to Iran. Iran is led by the Ayatola,
- 5:57Speaker 2: a radical, theocratic, genocidal aniac. The Biden administration has already
- 6:03Speaker 2: flowed over one hundred billion dollars to Iran, but since then,
- 6:09Speaker 2: Iran not only is the world leading states funder of terrorism,
- 6:12Speaker 2: not only has launched over a hundred attack on US
- 6:16Speaker 2: servicemen and women in the Middle East, but funded October seventh.
- 6:21Speaker 2: They are the principal funder of Hamas. They've given over
- 6:24Speaker 2: ninety percent of Hamas's funding. They're the principal funder of Hezbolah.
- 6:28Speaker 2: So in the wake of October seventh, Israel is the
- 6:31Speaker 2: middle of war, and I stood up and said, it's
- 6:34Speaker 2: real simple. If you stand with Israel, if you stand
- 6:37Speaker 2: with America against Iran. This ought to be a very
- 6:42Speaker 2: simple vote. Don't send billions of dollars to Iran. Right
- 6:47Speaker 2: now the Biden administration is trying to send another ten
- 6:51Speaker 2: billion dollars to Iran. This was a straight up vote.
- 6:55Speaker 2: We ended up voting. Every single Demo Democrat voted no,
- 7:01Speaker 2: actually except one Bob Menendez. At the very end, he
- 7:05Speaker 2: sat there silent. He sat there silent, he was glowering,
- 7:09Speaker 2: and then he voted yes. Now, look, Menendez is pretty
- 7:13Speaker 2: mad at his own party. He's facing indictment, he's facing prosecution.
- 7:17Speaker 2: His party has basically thrown him out of the party.
- 7:19Speaker 2: He might run as an independent in the state of
- 7:22Speaker 2: New Jersey. He has long been the best Democrat when
- 7:25Speaker 2: it comes to standing up to Iran compared to the others.
- 7:28Speaker 2: And so his vote, a component of Bob's vote, I think,
- 7:32Speaker 2: was a screw you to Schumer and the rest of
- 7:34Speaker 2: the Democrat Party. But that being said, it is astonished
- 7:39Speaker 2: that Tester and Brown and Casey and Rosen, they all
- 7:43Speaker 2: cast their vote and said, yep, we're all four sending
- 7:46Speaker 2: billions of dollars to the Ayahtola who chance death to
- 7:50Speaker 2: America and death to Israel, even while he's funding Hamas'
- 7:54Speaker 2: death squads.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Right now, you look at the fight here and it
- 7:59Speaker 1: is shot that you guys are even having to have
- 8:01Speaker 1: this battle, even have these types of fights, and yet
- 8:05Speaker 1: the American people seem to lose yet again. How do
- 8:09Speaker 1: Democrats keep getting away with this? And I'm saying that
- 8:12Speaker 1: in a real Standpoin, Is it because the media doesn't
- 8:15Speaker 1: talk about what they're actually doing on a Friday night
- 8:18Speaker 1: at midnight? Is that the main core thing that people
- 8:20Speaker 1: don't even realize how bad they're getting screwed.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Oh look, when it's late at night, most of the
- 8:25Speaker 2: reporters are in bed, So most of the reporters weren't
- 8:27Speaker 2: even there covering it. And it doesn't matter if they're
- 8:29Speaker 2: awake or not. The media is broken. They do not
- 8:34Speaker 2: view their role as actually reporting on news. They don't
- 8:37Speaker 2: report both sides. They are advocates for the left wing
- 8:41Speaker 2: of the Democrat Party. The media wants to send billions
- 8:45Speaker 2: of dollars to Iran, so they're not going to tell
- 8:47Speaker 2: you that every Democrat voter except Bob a nen Endez
- 8:50Speaker 2: just voted to send billions of dollars to Iran. Let's
- 8:53Speaker 2: walk through some of the rest of these votes, because
- 8:54Speaker 2: these votes are actually astonishing usly bad. All right. Another
- 8:59Speaker 2: one of the votes we had was a vote that
- 9:02Speaker 2: was introduced by Ted Budd. This was a vote that said,
- 9:07Speaker 2: we should deport illegal immigrants who have violently assaulted police officers.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Very simple question. You have an illegal immigrant if he
- 9:19Speaker 2: violently assaults a cop, for example, the six illegal immigrants
- 9:23Speaker 2: in New York who beat up to New York cops.
- 9:25Speaker 2: Once you beat up a cop, you should be deported.
- 9:28Speaker 2: This ought to be easy. Yeah, Like to be honest,
- 9:33Speaker 2: grab one hundred people in any state in America. Don't
- 9:37Speaker 2: have to be a red state, make it a purple state,
- 9:39Speaker 2: make it a blue state. Ask one hundred people, if
- 9:42Speaker 2: an illegal immigrant beats up a cop, should they be deported?
- 9:47Speaker 2: An overwhelming majority will say hell yes, anywhere you go. Well,
- 9:52Speaker 2: Ted Bud teed this up. By the way, this was
- 9:54Speaker 2: one of the amendments that had tester terrified, that had
- 9:58Speaker 2: Shared Brown terrified, that that had Bob Casey terrified. Well,
- 10:02Speaker 2: you know what the vote was. Every single Democrat voted no.
- 10:09Speaker 2: They are now on record against deporting illegal aliens who
- 10:14Speaker 2: violently assault police officers.
- 10:18Speaker 1: It's not just that. Let's talk about the importing of
- 10:21Speaker 1: illegal immigrants. And this was one of the votes that
- 10:25Speaker 1: you guys had to deal with, and it was it
- 10:28Speaker 1: was something that was brought up by Bill Haggerty, one
- 10:30Speaker 1: of your colleagues out of Tennessee, that was like, hey,
- 10:33Speaker 1: can we all at least agree that we shouldn't be
- 10:35Speaker 1: spinning the American taxpayers dollars to import on chartered flights
- 10:41Speaker 1: three hundred and twenty thousand and twenty twenty three that
- 10:44Speaker 1: we know of illegal immigrants in America on top of
- 10:48Speaker 1: the millions that have already come in, why are we
- 10:51Speaker 1: importing them? And yet every Democrat voted against that as well.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Yeah, look, that's exactly right. Bill Haggerty had motion to
- 11:00Speaker 2: prohibit the Department of Homeland Security from using funds to quote, facilitate, provide,
- 11:05Speaker 2: or purchase air transportation from a foreign country to the
- 11:11Speaker 2: United States for an alien in order for such an
- 11:15Speaker 2: alien to utilize the parole process. And this was target
- 11:19Speaker 2: at the Biden administration having flown three hundred and twenty
- 11:23Speaker 2: thousand illegal immigrants into America from Cuba, from Haiti, from Nicaragua,
- 11:29Speaker 2: and from Venezuela. Now they did this in secret. They
- 11:34Speaker 2: did this in the dark of night. We know they've
- 11:36Speaker 2: flown over three hundred and twenty thousand illegal immigrants into
- 11:38Speaker 2: this country to forty three different airports. But they will
- 11:41Speaker 2: not tell us what airports they flew them to. They
- 11:44Speaker 2: say it's a national security risk to tell us what
- 11:48Speaker 2: airports they're flying these into. But we do know at
- 11:50Speaker 2: least one of them, which is last week, a twenty
- 11:54Speaker 2: six year old Haitian named Corey Alvarez, who entered under
- 11:59Speaker 2: Biden's parole program, was arrested in Massachusetts for the rape
- 12:06Speaker 2: of a fifteen year old disabled girl. That was last week. Now, look,
- 12:12Speaker 2: I get Massachusetts as a bright blue liberal state, but
- 12:16Speaker 2: even in Massachusetts, if you ask people, do you want
- 12:20Speaker 2: Joe Biden flying illegal immigrants out of Haiti into Massachusetts,
- 12:25Speaker 2: letting them go and by the way, one of them
- 12:27Speaker 2: he just did just raped a fifteen year old disabled girl.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Even in Massachusetts, the voters would say hell no. But
- 12:36Speaker 2: we voted on it, and every single Democrat voted no,
- 12:42Speaker 2: straight party line vote.
- 12:44Speaker 1: So when you move forward with this and this, because
- 12:47Speaker 1: I think going to come down to November. How much
- 12:51Speaker 1: of this could come back to haunt the Democrats and
- 12:53Speaker 1: what they just did the American people, or is this
- 12:56Speaker 1: now just business as usual? And Democrats say, look at
- 12:59Speaker 1: least our voters, A majority of them don't pay attention
- 13:02Speaker 1: or agree with us, or just don't care. Is this
- 13:05Speaker 1: the lowest level of I would also argue apathy you've
- 13:08Speaker 1: ever seen in America, especially when there's so many issues
- 13:11Speaker 1: like this that you just described. I mean, I would
- 13:14Speaker 1: have never thought it would have been politically a reason
- 13:17Speaker 1: to stand and band together for Democrats say, yes, we
- 13:20Speaker 1: are in fact going to take millions and millions of
- 13:22Speaker 1: dollars and we are going to fly I legal immigrants
- 13:24Speaker 1: in the United States of America and some of them
- 13:26Speaker 1: are doing these heinous and horrendous crimes, and yet we're
- 13:29Speaker 1: still gonna stay lockstep with the president of United States
- 13:31Speaker 1: of America in a presidential election year.
- 13:35Speaker 2: To top all that off, well, I think they feel
- 13:38Speaker 2: utterly unaccountable. They know that the media is broken. By
- 13:41Speaker 2: the way, did you see the media covering any of this?
- 13:44Speaker 2: Did you see any discussion of this on the six
- 13:46Speaker 2: o'clock news with Sunday shows yesterday were the Sunday shows
- 13:51Speaker 2: sitting around going what has happened to the Democrat Party?
- 13:53Speaker 2: How do they vote for such crazy things?
- 13:56Speaker 3: You know?
- 13:56Speaker 2: What happened? Instead? Chuck Todd just about had a hysteric
- 14:00Speaker 2: breakdown crying on Meet the Press because why because NBC
- 14:05Speaker 2: hired Ronald McDaniel is as a commentator and he could
- 14:09Speaker 2: not handle Lease. My god, she's a Republican. Can you believe?
- 14:13Speaker 2: You know? She was a Republican? How could we hire
- 14:15Speaker 2: someone who spoke on behalf of Republicans? Let me tell
- 14:18Speaker 2: you something interesting. Chuck Todd before he was hired, was
- 14:22Speaker 2: a Democrat staffer. Tim Russert, the legend of NBC before
- 14:27Speaker 2: he was hired, was a Democrat staffer. George Stephanopoulos before
- 14:31Speaker 2: he was hired, was a senior Democrat staffer in the
- 14:34Speaker 2: Clinton white House. Jensaki, who was a senior Democrat staffer
- 14:39Speaker 2: in the Biden White House. She was literally the Biden
- 14:42Speaker 2: press secretary, charge with lying to the American people every
- 14:46Speaker 2: day on behalf of Joe Biden. She not only got hired,
- 14:48Speaker 2: she has her own primetime show. And yet Chuck Todd
- 14:52Speaker 2: practically had to be medicated that how dare NBC hire
- 14:58Speaker 2: one Republican, the world will end no wonder. NBC doesn't
- 15:03Speaker 2: cover these horrible votes by Democrats. ABC doesn't cover it,
- 15:07Speaker 2: CBS doesn't cover it, CNN doesn't cover it. MSNBC doesn't
- 15:11Speaker 2: cover it. The Washington Post doesn't cover it. The New
- 15:13Speaker 2: York Times doesn't cover it. None of them cover it
- 15:16Speaker 2: because they are They're not just part of the team.
- 15:20Speaker 2: They are the advance fighting forces of the team. Their
- 15:24Speaker 2: objective is to keep driving the Democrat Party left left,
- 15:28Speaker 2: and so they know that no matter what bad vote
- 15:32Speaker 2: gets cast, it will never be covered.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Back home, you mentioned this fight, and just to put
- 15:39Speaker 1: it in perspective, there are a lot of people that
- 15:42Speaker 1: are concerned over government spending. Part of what you guys
- 15:45Speaker 1: obviously were dealing with with government spending, but there was
- 15:49Speaker 1: you know, there's a third realm in politics. They say,
- 15:51Speaker 1: never talk in a presidential election you're about social security
- 15:54Speaker 1: or insolvency or any of those issues.
- 15:57Speaker 2: And we see our national debts going up.
- 15:59Speaker 1: I think it's a trillion time hours on the average
- 16:00Speaker 1: every now one hundred days, three trillion in the year,
- 16:03Speaker 1: and people are talking about this. Jenet Yellen was even
- 16:06Speaker 1: asked questions and the media didn't cover this. The Biden
- 16:10Speaker 1: Treasury Secretary Jenet Yellen literally admitted that Biden doesn't actually
- 16:15Speaker 1: have a plan for social security. No one covered that
- 16:20Speaker 1: like shocking, massive breaking news this week either.
- 16:24Speaker 2: The media. There is virtually no one in the corporate
- 16:28Speaker 2: media who even pretends to be a journalist anymore. I'll
- 16:31Speaker 2: give you another example. One of the other amendments we
- 16:34Speaker 2: voted on was Ted budd had a different amendment, but
- 16:37Speaker 2: that was the Lake and Riley Act, and it was
- 16:39Speaker 2: an amendment that would prohibit funding from being used to
- 16:43Speaker 2: grant immigration status to any alien who is charged with,
- 16:48Speaker 2: arrested for convicted of acts that constitute the essential elements
- 16:54Speaker 2: of burglary, theft, larceny, or shoplifting. It was designed respond
- 17:00Speaker 2: to the horrific murder of Lake and Riley and what happened.
- 17:04Speaker 2: We had to vote on the Senate floor. Every single
- 17:08Speaker 2: Democrat voted no, all of them straight party line. Why
- 17:12Speaker 2: because they know they're not asked about lacoln Riley when
- 17:15Speaker 2: they get home, when they do a press interview, nobody
- 17:17Speaker 2: asks them about Lake and Riley. That is not their narrative.
- 17:22Speaker 1: I got to play at Jennet Yellen because for the
- 17:25Speaker 1: people that miss this. This is the Biden Treasury Secretary
- 17:29Speaker 1: admitting Biden doesn't have a plan to deal with one
- 17:32Speaker 1: of the biggest issues in our country that affects many seniors.
- 17:36Speaker 3: Has Treasury really not looked at Okay, we're already charging
- 17:39Speaker 3: four point nine trillion for the deficit for Medicare, for
- 17:42Speaker 3: a lot of other things, and now we've got to
- 17:44Speaker 3: add social but we haven't done the math to figure
- 17:46Speaker 3: out how much that tax rate.
- 17:48Speaker 4: To the President doesn't have a plan. He has principles,
- 17:52Speaker 4: he wants to work with Congress to find a way
- 17:57Speaker 4: to protect Social Security and stinted solvency beyond twelve and
- 18:03Speaker 4: he doesn't.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Have a plan, Madam Secretary, how could he justify not
- 18:07Speaker 3: having a plan when he's been in office for three
- 18:09Speaker 3: years already.
- 18:10Speaker 4: He believes it's important to work with Congress.
- 18:13Speaker 3: And Madam Secretary, he has not worked with us at
- 18:17Speaker 3: all on this Senate Finance Committee.
- 18:19Speaker 1: I mean, Senator, to be very clear with the American people,
- 18:23Speaker 1: the Treasury Secretary of the United States of America, Jenet Yellen,
- 18:26Speaker 1: said to on Capitol Hill on Thursday, Biden doesn't actually
- 18:31Speaker 1: have a plan for SOB security, but he's got principles
- 18:34Speaker 1: and that should be good enough for all of us.
- 18:37Speaker 2: Well, look, on one level, it's remarkable that Yellen was
- 18:40Speaker 2: that candid, but she wasn't entirely honest. Because he does
- 18:42Speaker 2: have a plan for social security. His plan is to
- 18:45Speaker 2: demigogue the heck out of it, to attack Republicans, to
- 18:48Speaker 2: say Republicans want to bankruptcial security, Republicans want to destroy
- 18:52Speaker 2: social Security. Mind you, it's a total lie. He knows
- 18:54Speaker 2: it's a total lie. But it doesn't matter. The Democrats,
- 18:59Speaker 2: rather than a rest their own radical policies, they're going
- 19:02Speaker 2: to scream and yell that Republicans hate old people, Republicans
- 19:05Speaker 2: hay women, Republicans eight children, Republicans hate kittens, Republicans hate
- 19:09Speaker 2: flowers and sunshine. Look like it is. It is all
- 19:13Speaker 2: just rhetoric. And by the way that I mention Donald
- 19:15Speaker 2: Trump as the devil, that is the Democrat re election
- 19:19Speaker 2: plan right there. And so when it comes to Social Security,
- 19:22Speaker 2: do they know that on the current path, so security
- 19:25Speaker 2: is careening towards insolvency and bankruptcy. Yes, are they willing
- 19:29Speaker 2: to do a damn thing about it? No, What they
- 19:31Speaker 2: want to do instead is just demagogue the issue, and
- 19:34Speaker 2: Yellen's quite candid about it. Nope, we're not going to
- 19:36Speaker 2: fix it. We're just going to use it for political

- 21:21Speaker 1: want to move to something else that obviously deals with
- 21:25Speaker 1: what you're talking about in Washington, d C. But it
- 21:27Speaker 1: really brings it down to the doubling down as you
- 21:31Speaker 1: described early on by Democrats on the open border policy
- 21:35Speaker 1: and illegal immigrants. It's a story coming out of Michigan.
- 21:39Speaker 1: And the reason why this, I think is so shocking
- 21:42Speaker 1: to me is there's new poll numbers out over the
- 21:45Speaker 1: weekend that show that Donald Trump, who lost Michigan to
- 21:48Speaker 1: Joe Biden the last election he won it in sixteen,
- 21:51Speaker 1: Trump now tops Biden by eight points in a Michigan poll.
- 21:56Speaker 1: That is significant. The president's approval rating in Michigan is
- 22:00Speaker 1: it thirty five percent? So what has Michigan been doing?
- 22:04Speaker 1: I guess it's time to buy votes. They're now offering
- 22:07Speaker 1: homeowners a five hundred dollars a month stipend if they'll
- 22:12Speaker 1: welcome what they describe as newcomers. What that is is
- 22:15Speaker 1: an illegal immigrant into their home, and the state of
- 22:19Speaker 1: Michigan will subsidize you five hundred dollars, it says, in
- 22:22Speaker 1: a month up to a year, So basically six grand
- 22:25Speaker 1: is what they're willing to give you to house someone.
- 22:28Speaker 2: Now, well, that's right. The program that Michigan has rolled
- 22:31Speaker 2: out it's called the Newcomer Rental Subsidy, and it's designed
- 22:35Speaker 2: to provide shelter outside of state shelters for so called
- 22:38Speaker 2: refugees and refugees is simply the term they use for
- 22:41Speaker 2: illegal aliens. It lasts for up to a year, and
- 22:45Speaker 2: according to Michigan, those eligible include refugees, assilees, special immigration
- 22:51Speaker 2: visa holders, victims of human trafficking, Cuban entrance, Haitian entrance,
- 22:58Speaker 2: Afghan national and Ukrainian humanitarian paroleese. So get this, The
- 23:05Speaker 2: state of Michigan is quite literally paying individuals, paying homeowners
- 23:12Speaker 2: to house illegal immigrants in their house. And by the way,
- 23:15Speaker 2: it's not just them. Others who qualify include individuals who
- 23:19Speaker 2: arrived under the family Reunification parole process for El Salvador, Guatemada, Honduras,
- 23:26Speaker 2: and Columbia. Who in Michigan. What Michigan taxpayer says, You
- 23:32Speaker 2: know what I really want. I want my taxes going
- 23:36Speaker 2: to paying my neighbor to put an illegal immigrant that
- 23:40Speaker 2: Joe Biden led into this country into his house and
- 23:44Speaker 2: we'll send them five hundred bucks a month to keep
- 23:46Speaker 2: the illegal immigrant there. That is how nutty today's Democrat
- 23:51Speaker 2: Party is on this issue.
- 23:52Speaker 1: Well, and my question is that I'm not joking when
- 23:54Speaker 1: I say this. Is this not a form of just
- 23:56Speaker 1: buying votes? If you're talking at each person is now
- 23:59Speaker 1: we're sick thousand dollars to a Michigan a homeowner to
- 24:05Speaker 1: house them. And I don't know if there's a you know,
- 24:08Speaker 1: a cap that you can only have one or maybe
- 24:10Speaker 1: have two. What if it's a family. I'm assuming we're
- 24:11Speaker 1: not going to break up the family. So is if
- 24:14Speaker 1: you have a family of four and you house them,
- 24:16Speaker 1: are we now talking that there were twenty four thousand
- 24:20Speaker 1: dollars to your bottom line? How is that not the
- 24:23Speaker 1: Democratic Party basically buying vote, saying hey, you better keep
- 24:27Speaker 1: us in office, you better vote for us, because we're
- 24:30Speaker 1: we're twenty four grand a year to you right now.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Well, and look, I'll read you a quote from Amy Hovey,
- 24:35Speaker 2: who is the executive director of the Michigan State Housing
- 24:38Speaker 2: Development Authority, who said the program would help migrants quote
- 24:42Speaker 2: build a new life here. And she said, quote this
- 24:45Speaker 2: program is truly a win win as it addresses the
- 24:48Speaker 2: most pressing barrier to refugee resettlement by meeting housing needs
- 24:53Speaker 2: while setting up families for success with increased employment and opportunities.
- 24:58Speaker 2: That's the position of Democrat Party. You too, can have
- 25:01Speaker 2: an illegal alien in your house.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Do they care about the cost of housing going up.
- 25:07Speaker 1: I mean, is that a conversation you guys have in DC.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Is that a question that anyone asks of the Democrats
- 25:14Speaker 1: when you have this many illegal immigrants coming into America.
- 25:18Speaker 1: I'll go back to what you were talking about the
- 25:19Speaker 1: very beginning in these votes. It's not just the three
- 25:23Speaker 1: hundred and twenty thousand legal immigrants that we have flown
- 25:25Speaker 1: into this country at the taxpayer's dollars paying for these
- 25:28Speaker 1: charter flights. But if you look at how many illegal
- 25:31Speaker 1: immigrants have come across the southern border since Joe Biden
- 25:36Speaker 1: was sworn in, it's at least at minimum seven point
- 25:39Speaker 1: two million illegal immigrants have entered the US under the
- 25:41Speaker 1: Biden administration, which is greater than the population of thirty
- 25:46Speaker 1: six individual states in America. And now we see housing
- 25:52Speaker 1: cost issues, rent cost issues, and we see inflationary issues,
- 25:56Speaker 1: and we see that we're seeing wages that are being
- 26:00Speaker 1: undermined by illegal immigrants. If Michigan does this and other
- 26:04Speaker 1: states go along with it, which other states are as well,
- 26:07Speaker 1: they're saying the same thing, hous an illegal immigrant will
- 26:09Speaker 1: give you cash. Is that not the definition of undermining
- 26:14Speaker 1: hard working American families who are just struggling to survive.
- 26:18Speaker 2: Well, look, you got to understand the modern Democrat view
- 26:20Speaker 2: as they can spend unlimited money, trillions of dollars, they
- 26:23Speaker 2: can print unlimited money, and if they want more, they'll
- 26:26Speaker 2: just tax the hell out of you. And it's a
- 26:28Speaker 2: giant Ponzi scheme where they print money, they raise taxes,
- 26:30Speaker 2: they spend more money, Inflation goes up, so they print
- 26:33Speaker 2: more money. And when it comes to if the voters
- 26:37Speaker 2: don't like it, don't worry. They'll change the composition of
- 26:39Speaker 2: the voters. They'll let ten point four million people into
- 26:43Speaker 2: this country illegally. Those guys the Democrats are confident will
- 26:46Speaker 2: vote Democrat, and so they stay in power. That is,
- 26:50Speaker 2: you know, there used to be a time when you
- 26:52Speaker 2: could have a common sense discussion. There are no longer
- 26:56Speaker 2: any Democrats in Washington and Congress who engage in common sense.
- 27:01Speaker 2: I mean, look, we saw these votes, every single one
- 27:05Speaker 2: of them lined up over and over and over again.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Illegal immigrant who beat up a cop, Nope, don't support him.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Like fuck, tell me what world does a sane or
- 27:15Speaker 2: rational person believe that? And yet every Senate Democrat there
- 27:19Speaker 2: that's their view.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Last question on this when when they vote lockstep like
- 27:23Speaker 1: that is that pre planned with a conversation they have
- 27:27Speaker 1: behind closed doors and they say, hey, no matter what
- 27:30Speaker 1: they throw at you, no matter how sane it is,
- 27:32Speaker 1: you do not agree with the Republicans on anything. Bull stop.
- 27:36Speaker 2: It's why it took all night. They knew what we
- 27:39Speaker 2: were gonna have votes on. We had put forward these
- 27:40Speaker 2: early mements we want votes on, and we spent the
- 27:44Speaker 2: entire day Friday just doing nothing because Schumer was talking
- 27:48Speaker 2: to his Democrats saying, okay, here are the votes. We
- 27:51Speaker 2: need every Democrat to stand lock arms and just vote
- 27:54Speaker 2: against all of them.
- 27:54Speaker 1: And he had John, I want me through Friday that
- 27:57Speaker 1: day because people don't understand I think how dysfunctional Schumer
- 28:02Speaker 1: can make things when they're trying to get things done
- 28:05Speaker 1: like this, So you guys wake up Friday. You know
- 28:07Speaker 1: you had to stay over another day.
- 28:09Speaker 2: But we didn't wait. We actually thought we would be
- 28:11Speaker 2: done Friday afternoon. In a normal world we would have been.
- 28:15Speaker 2: We stayed there the whole night.
- 28:17Speaker 1: So tell me, like, you guys wake up Friday morning,
- 28:21Speaker 1: do you have a vote schedule yet? And then he
- 28:22Speaker 1: changed theirs. He just say, hey, wake up and stand
- 28:25Speaker 1: by until I tell you when you get to vote.
- 28:27Speaker 2: Yeah, it's much more of the latter. And the way
- 28:29Speaker 2: the Senate works works as a strange place. So the
- 28:32Speaker 2: majority leader only has one real power under the rules,
- 28:36Speaker 2: and it's what's called priority of recognition, which means he
- 28:39Speaker 2: is recognized first if he's on the floor, and he
- 28:43Speaker 2: uses that to control the Senate calendar to fill the
- 28:46Speaker 2: pending business with whatever he wants so that no one
- 28:49Speaker 2: else can can put anything else on the Senate calendar.
- 28:53Speaker 2: So you spend a lot of time just sitting around waiting.
- 28:55Speaker 2: It's a very weird thing. I'll tell you when I was,
- 28:59Speaker 2: you know, new in the Senate, and I'd be a
- 29:02Speaker 2: typical Senate week. You will fly to d C Monday mornings,
- 29:06Speaker 2: and you'll fly home Thursday nights, and then typically I'm
- 29:08Speaker 2: home in Houston Thursday nights. Friday, I travel somewhere around Texas.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Sometimes Saturday, I travel around Texas. I try to spend
- 29:17Speaker 2: Sunday's home with a family, and then Monday morning I
- 29:19Speaker 2: fly back to d C. That that's the usual rhythm
- 29:22Speaker 2: of things. But on Thursdays I would call home. Back
- 29:25Speaker 2: when when Republicans had the majority, I would call home
- 29:29Speaker 2: and my daughters would ask, well, are you coming home tonight?
- 29:31Speaker 2: And I'd say, I don't know. It depends what Mitch schedules.
- 29:36Speaker 2: When he schedules votes, and we have no idea. My
- 29:39Speaker 2: daughters used to say, is that mean man gonna let
- 29:42Speaker 2: you come home? And by that mean man, they meant
- 29:45Speaker 2: Mitch McConnell. Because you literally have no control over your schedule.
- 29:49Speaker 2: It is. It is utterly incoherent. So Friday we spent
- 29:57Speaker 2: all day we were waiting to see if a deal
- 29:58Speaker 2: would be reached. We were waiting to see if a
- 30:00Speaker 2: deal would be reached, and throughout the afternoon and evening
- 30:03Speaker 2: it looked like there was going to be no deal.
- 30:06Speaker 2: At midnight Friday night, funding for the federal government was
- 30:09Speaker 2: set to expire and we were going to have a shutdown.
- 30:11Speaker 2: So as the evening went on, I was on the
- 30:14Speaker 2: Senate floor for a while it looked like there was
- 30:15Speaker 2: no deal. I went with some senators, grab some food,
- 30:19Speaker 2: watch some basketball, and actually I had gone home, I
- 30:23Speaker 2: changed out of my suit, was getting ready to go
- 30:25Speaker 2: to bed, and then after eleven PM, I got the note,
- 30:28Speaker 2: note we're getting ready to vote, and we began voting
- 30:31Speaker 2: at eleven fifty six PM, so I had to get
- 30:34Speaker 2: dressed again head back to the Capital. Everyone did, and
- 30:37Speaker 2: we voted from eleven fifty six pm until two oh
- 30:40Speaker 2: three am is when it was over. But that's just
- 30:44Speaker 2: kind of how hectic things are.
- 30:46Speaker 1: It's unbelievable. I want to get to one other issue
- 30:48Speaker 1: with national security and wokeness with this administration. Before that
- 30:51Speaker 1: I do that, let me tell you about our friends
- 30:53Speaker 1: of our Patriot Mobile. If you are like me and
- 30:56Speaker 1: you say enough is enough, I'm not giving my money
- 30:59Speaker 1: to woke company is a fight against my values any longer.
- 31:02Speaker 1: Then if you're with Big Mobile, you need to know
- 31:05Speaker 1: where your money is going. It's going to hardcore Democratic candidates, causes,
- 31:11Speaker 1: and organizations, including Planned Parenthood. That is why my cell
- 31:16Speaker 1: phone I switched to Patriot Mobile, and switching is easier
- 31:20Speaker 1: now than it's ever been now. For the last decade,
- 31:23Speaker 1: over a decade, Patriot Mobile has been America's only Christian
- 31:26Speaker 1: conservative wireless provider. And when I say only, I mean it,
- 31:29Speaker 1: they're the only one. Patriot Mobile gives you incredible nationwide,
- 31:34Speaker 1: dependable coverage, giving you the ability to access all three
- 31:38Speaker 1: major networks out there. And what does that mean? It
- 31:41Speaker 1: means you get the same coverage that you're accustomed to
- 31:43Speaker 1: right now, but without funding the left. And when you
- 31:47Speaker 1: switch to Patriot Mobile, you're sending a clear message because
- 31:50Speaker 1: they take a portion of your bill every month and
- 31:53Speaker 1: they give it back to organizations that support free speech,
- 31:56Speaker 1: really just freedom, the sanctity of life are Second Amendment,
- 32:00Speaker 1: as well as supporting our military, our veterans, our wounded warriors,
- 32:04Speaker 1: and our first responder heroes. That all happens just by
- 32:08Speaker 1: using your phone and paying your bill. They have one
- 32:11Speaker 1: hundred percent US based customer service team that makes switching easy.
- 32:15Speaker 1: You can keep your same cell phone number you have now,
- 32:17Speaker 1: keep your same phone, or upgrade to a new one,
- 32:19Speaker 1: and their team will help you find the best plan
- 32:21Speaker 1: to save you money. So stop giving your money to
- 32:24Speaker 1: woke companies and switch now. Patriotmobile dot com slash verdict

- 32:43Speaker 1: com slash verdict are nine to seven to two Patriot cenater. Lastly,
- 32:48Speaker 1: this story broke it's not being covered, of course, by
- 32:52Speaker 1: the media, because why would they want to tell you
- 32:54Speaker 1: about this. But apparently now the Biden administers decided, we
- 33:01Speaker 1: don't want to offend extremists, jihadis extremists, and they want
- 33:05Speaker 1: to change the way you talk about actual terrorists.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Well, that's exactly right. This is a story that The
- 33:12Speaker 2: Daily Wire broke, and it's a memo that was sent
- 33:15Speaker 2: by the diversity, equity and inclusion officials at the Biden
- 33:17Speaker 2: administration's top intelligence agency, and it warns personnel not to
- 33:22Speaker 2: use quote problematic phrases when discussing Islamic terrorism and foreign
- 33:28Speaker 2: adversaries such as China. The unclassified newsletter, and it's from
- 33:33Speaker 2: the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, is called
- 33:36Speaker 2: Quote the Dive, and it was obtained through Freedom Information
- 33:40Speaker 2: Act requests by The Daily Wire. It argues in its
- 33:43Speaker 2: cover story that the intelligence community needs to focus on
- 33:47Speaker 2: quote changing terminology related to counter terrorism because quote words matter.
- 33:56Speaker 2: Here's more quote the article is about one of our
- 34:00Speaker 2: goals disentangling Islam from words and phrases used to discuss
- 34:06Speaker 2: terrorism and extreme violence. It goes on to declare that
- 34:13Speaker 2: trying to remove quote certain phrases to identify international terrorism
- 34:19Speaker 2: threats that are hurtful to Muslim Americans. Some of the
- 34:23Speaker 2: problematic phrases include, but are not limited to, Salafi jihadist, jihadist,
- 34:30Speaker 2: Islamic extremist, Sunni Shia extremism, and radical Islamist.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Only in America. Could you have a memo that someone
- 34:39Speaker 1: took this much time and waste his time under the
- 34:43Speaker 1: Biden administration to make people that are directly associated with
- 34:46Speaker 1: terrorism feel better about I guess what, not being a terrorist.
- 34:51Speaker 2: Well, and sadly, this is continuing the path of putting
- 34:56Speaker 2: politics above national security that we saw when Barack Obama
- 35:01Speaker 2: was president. When Barack Obama was president, I actually chaired
- 35:03Speaker 2: a hearing that examined the purge that the Obama White
- 35:09Speaker 2: House insisted DHS do to remove from their records any
- 35:13Speaker 2: reference to radical Islamic terrorism, or Islam or Muslis or
- 35:18Speaker 2: Muslim or jahadist. And they erased over eight hundred times.
- 35:23Speaker 2: They erased those words from their records. And by the way,
- 35:27Speaker 2: the word purge, that's not me adding that word to it.
- 35:32Speaker 2: That was the word that was used by the political
- 35:35Speaker 2: official in the Obama White House in the instructions to DHS.
- 35:39Speaker 2: Purge your files. Well, these same radicals are now running
- 35:46Speaker 2: Biden's intelligence agencies. And this article is part of a
- 35:49Speaker 2: newsletter that is created by odn I that the Office
- 35:53Speaker 2: of the Director of National Intelligence, Intelligence Community Diversity, Equity
- 35:58Speaker 2: and Inclusion and Accessibility Office, and it was sent to
- 36:01Speaker 2: personnel throughout the intelligence community, which includes the CIA, the NSSA,
- 36:07Speaker 2: the FBI, the DHS, and the Department of Justice. All
- 36:11Speaker 2: of them are being told the fact that Palestinian Islamic
- 36:16Speaker 2: Jihad was one of the two terrorist groups that carried
- 36:20Speaker 2: out October seventh. October seventh was carried out by Hamas
- 36:24Speaker 2: and Palestinian Islamic Jihad. Apparently that is an inconvenient fact
- 36:29Speaker 2: to the language commissars, who I presume want to edit
- 36:36Speaker 2: out the word Islamic from the name of the terrorist group,
- 36:39Speaker 2: Palestinian Islamic Jahad. Look, they're not murdering Jews because they
- 36:44Speaker 2: disliked their hairstyle. They are murdering Jews because they have
- 36:48Speaker 2: a perverted view of radical Islam that mandates Jahad and
- 36:54Speaker 2: countering Jahadism, countering the radical religious extremism behind it is
- 37:00Speaker 2: only possible if you acknowledge it exists, and so on.
- 37:04Speaker 2: One level you say, Okay, this sort of language, political
- 37:07Speaker 2: correctness stuff, it's silly, But in this instance, it's much
- 37:11Speaker 2: worse than silly. It is dangerous because if the intelligence
- 37:15Speaker 2: community has no idea, refuses to acknowledge what is actually happening,
- 37:21Speaker 2: it means they will be utterly ineffective in fighting against
- 37:25Speaker 2: it and keeping Americans in our allies safe.
- 37:28Speaker 1: Yeah, and this is one of those moments when you say,
- 37:31Speaker 1: what are they focusing their time on right now? Is
- 37:33Speaker 1: it political correctness or is it actually keeping us safe
- 37:37Speaker 1: from actual jihadis terarris that they're afraid of offending by
- 37:40Speaker 1: using the name. It reminds me a lot of the
- 37:43Speaker 1: President saying that the a individual that killed an innocent
- 37:48Speaker 1: young girl in Georgia was an illegal immigrant and then
- 37:52Speaker 1: apologized to the illegal immigrants for calling that individual who
- 37:58Speaker 1: is the alleged murderer an illegal immigrant. It's like, what
- 38:02Speaker 1: are you focusing on? What is important to you? Protecting
- 38:06Speaker 1: innocent people, protecting people from tears tax or is it
- 38:11Speaker 1: this pr PC wokeness? Is that matter more than actually
- 38:15Speaker 1: fighting the bad guys?
- 38:18Speaker 2: Well, unfortunately, based on things like their late night votes
