- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. I
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million buck things in its true good together for st Please,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join jo. You gotta turn, you gotta turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: to turn them out. Turn. You haven't got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 1: them out to turn the water the water go. Come
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your baby, uh huh I shore, well a
- 2:03Speaker 1: good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice. Come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey, I got
- 2:10Speaker 1: a radio show. Real grateful for that. You know, it's funny, man.
- 2:14Speaker 1: I remember when I first started out in radio, A
- 2:17Speaker 1: lot of my peers laughed at me. Some of it
- 2:20Speaker 1: was being mean spirited, some of it was just you know,
- 2:23Speaker 1: marking me. I'm used to stuff like that. But I
- 2:27Speaker 1: had as a special guest on my show, Joel Oldstein,
- 2:30Speaker 1: and you know something, man, he says something that was
- 2:33Speaker 1: I can't remember the scripture. I don't know exactly how
- 2:36Speaker 1: I where. Like we were having a long conversation, but
- 2:39Speaker 1: the gist of it was, don't be upset with where
- 2:42Speaker 1: you are now, and don't be upset with the small
- 2:44Speaker 1: things in your life. Be grateful for the small things.
- 2:48Speaker 1: And a small position that you have right now because
- 2:50Speaker 1: you don't know where that's going. You don't know what
- 2:53Speaker 1: that's gonna be one day. You don't know what that's
- 2:54Speaker 1: gonna lead to. And that was very warming to hear
- 2:58Speaker 1: him say that. But it also reminded me of when
- 3:01Speaker 1: I started in radio, how small it was. It reminded
- 3:05Speaker 1: me of when I started in stand up making twenty
- 3:07Speaker 1: five dollars a show. It reminds me of not having
- 3:11Speaker 1: a home at a period in my life and what
- 3:15Speaker 1: God has allowed me to live in now. So don't
- 3:19Speaker 1: be distraught over your position now, and don't be ungrateful
- 3:24Speaker 1: or unappreciative for the things you have now because you
- 3:27Speaker 1: don't know what that's going to grow into. And that's
- 3:29Speaker 1: really the gist of that I got from what he
- 3:31Speaker 1: was saying. I just wanted to share that with you,
- 3:33Speaker 1: that where you are now it's so temporary because now,
- 3:37Speaker 1: like I've said before, now is a fleeting moment. Right
- 3:40Speaker 1: after you finished saying now, that moment that you claimed
- 3:44Speaker 1: as now, that's gone. So the where you are now
- 3:48Speaker 1: is a very fleeting process. Now you can change where
- 3:51Speaker 1: you are now, and you can change how you feel
- 3:55Speaker 1: about where you're at now, and you can change about
- 3:58Speaker 1: where you're going by simply changing your mind. It is
- 4:02Speaker 1: no difference. I'm telling you, folks, the thing that I've
- 4:06Speaker 1: learned about successful people is not so much what they do.
- 4:11Speaker 1: It's not what they have. The biggest thing I've learned
- 4:14Speaker 1: about successful people is how they think. That's the thing
- 4:19Speaker 1: that's different. It's how they think. And I'm telling you
- 4:23Speaker 1: that you can change the way you think on any
- 4:26Speaker 1: subject and start becoming successful towards that. Starting now, you
- 4:33Speaker 1: have to understand that. Man, the biggest difference I've noticed
- 4:37Speaker 1: between successful people and non successful people is how they think.
- 4:42Speaker 1: I was reading what is God said that he was
- 4:46Speaker 1: taught all wrong about money. He said that his father
- 4:50Speaker 1: was very negative about money. He all throughout his life
- 4:53Speaker 1: he heard his father to say, you know, people who
- 4:56Speaker 1: got money have walked on somebody to get it, or
- 4:59Speaker 1: cheated somebody to get it. People who have money, money
- 5:02Speaker 1: is the root of all evil. Money is money is
- 5:05Speaker 1: this And people who got money, you know, don't deserve it.
- 5:09Speaker 1: They've done something wrong to get it. YadA, y'ah. So
- 5:11Speaker 1: he said he grew up the whole time thinking that
- 5:14Speaker 1: having money when something was wrong with that, he discovered
- 5:17Speaker 1: that it wasn't look you can choose to be successful
- 5:21Speaker 1: anywhere you want to. I've chosen several ways to be successful.
- 5:24Speaker 1: I want to be a very, very successful father. I
- 5:27Speaker 1: think that's one of the things that's paramount in my
- 5:30Speaker 1: life that I really am working hard right now to
- 5:34Speaker 1: become a successful father. Not a successful father in terms
- 5:38Speaker 1: of money, but a successful father in terms of offering
- 5:43Speaker 1: the amount of love and guidance and leadership and the
- 5:47Speaker 1: example that my children need to look at. That's what
- 5:50Speaker 1: I'm really really working hard at now. I want to
- 5:52Speaker 1: be successful as a father, but also I want to
- 5:56Speaker 1: be successful as a husband. You know. I want Marjorie
- 5:59Speaker 1: to always know that she can count on me, to
- 6:01Speaker 1: not have to wonder about me a look for me.
- 6:04Speaker 1: You know. I want her to feel secure in the
- 6:07Speaker 1: fact that I really have gotten it right, that I
- 6:11Speaker 1: really am focused on being a good husband to her
- 6:15Speaker 1: because it means so much to me, you know. So
- 6:18Speaker 1: I'm working hard on a lot of levels. I'm working hard.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I'm trying very strong to be a successful motivator of people.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I want to be a sharer of information to people
- 6:28Speaker 1: that will uplift others and give others the same things
- 6:32Speaker 1: that I've learned through the trials and tribulations of my life,
- 6:36Speaker 1: but at the same time share that information and use
- 6:39Speaker 1: the power this microphone to uplift people, you know, not
- 6:43Speaker 1: to destroy. My show is not about guess what's so
- 6:45Speaker 1: and so said? Guess what's so and so did. I
- 6:47Speaker 1: don't like mean spirited things about people, you know. I
- 6:50Speaker 1: joke with people calling this that's another thing. But I
- 6:53Speaker 1: don't like destroying people with the power to microphone. So
- 6:56Speaker 1: I'm working very hard on being successful in a lot
- 6:58Speaker 1: of areas of my life now. Also I do care
- 7:01Speaker 1: about being financially successful too, because my father. One of
- 7:05Speaker 1: the gifts he gave me was very simple gift. He
- 7:08Speaker 1: told me a long time ago. He said, son, the
- 7:10Speaker 1: best thing you can do for poor people is not
- 7:13Speaker 1: be one of them. And that stuck with me. And
- 7:16Speaker 1: this was a hard working man who was a coal
- 7:19Speaker 1: miner who worked construction his entire life. My father didn't
- 7:24Speaker 1: have an easy life man. My father didn't sit behind
- 7:26Speaker 1: a microphone. My father didn't come to work and people
- 7:29Speaker 1: cheered for him. My father wasn't famous. My father was
- 7:33Speaker 1: just a go get it dude that he instilled that
- 7:37Speaker 1: in me, and I've taken that and applied it to
- 7:39Speaker 1: my craft and I thank God for him for that.
- 7:41Speaker 1: But I do try to be financially successful so that
- 7:45Speaker 1: I can do some things with it to help some
- 7:47Speaker 1: other people. Now, am I opposed to having nice things? No?
- 7:51Speaker 1: Do I apologize for having nice things? No? And why
- 7:54Speaker 1: should I? I work? I work? You know, I'm done.
- 7:57Speaker 1: I'm not on the radio asking to give me money,
- 8:01Speaker 1: you know, so I can go buy a car. I'm working.
- 8:04Speaker 1: So I don't feel how you want to feel. And
- 8:07Speaker 1: other people do feel that way about it. But if
- 8:10Speaker 1: success in terms of finance it's what you're lacking, you
- 8:13Speaker 1: can go about the business of doing that. I'm writing
- 8:16Speaker 1: a book and that whole book is about teaching people
- 8:19Speaker 1: how to become successful. And man, I'm breaking it down
- 8:23Speaker 1: in a way where everybody can get it, man, because
- 8:26Speaker 1: I want the college student to get it, you know.
- 8:28Speaker 1: I want the working mom to get it, the single
- 8:31Speaker 1: mom to get it. The hard working father that has
- 8:34Speaker 1: been trying to hold his family together can get it.
- 8:36Speaker 1: The father that ain't ever got it together and feel
- 8:39Speaker 1: that because of that reason, he can't be the father
- 8:42Speaker 1: he needs to be. I'm writing something man, to put
- 8:45Speaker 1: it into words, to let you know that God is
- 8:48Speaker 1: a forgiving God, and that God is a merciful God,
- 8:51Speaker 1: and that God can get you out of any situation
- 8:55Speaker 1: you find yourself in. You just can't beat yourself up
- 8:58Speaker 1: every time you make a mistake. Make mistakes all the time, man,
- 9:01Speaker 1: I just got to remind myself to get up. I
- 9:04Speaker 1: ask God for forgiveness, I call on his mercy and
- 9:08Speaker 1: it's grace and I get up and I go again.
- 9:10Speaker 1: But it's coming, man. And if finance success is what
- 9:13Speaker 1: you want, you got to change your mind. You got
- 9:15Speaker 1: to start thinking about how to produce it. The first
- 9:19Speaker 1: thing you do is you gotta ask. You gotta ask
- 9:22Speaker 1: to have a life and have a life more abundantly.
- 9:26Speaker 1: That's a scripture that He comes to you to give
- 9:29Speaker 1: you life and to give you life more abundantly. That's
- 9:32Speaker 1: a scripture that ain't a joke, that ain't a theory.
- 9:36Speaker 1: That's a fact, and the fact that if you don't
- 9:38Speaker 1: have a life of abundance, you can get that by asking.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Then it starts by believing. And how to don't even
- 9:44Speaker 1: worry about that. He takes care of at himself. He'll
- 9:47Speaker 1: send the stuff your way, but you got to be
- 9:49Speaker 1: willing to put some effort in this thing now, and
- 9:51Speaker 1: you can do it. Okay. I know I was a
- 9:53Speaker 1: little around the place today, but that's what it was.
- 9:56Speaker 1: So you know, let's go get it. You're listening to
- 10:00Speaker 1: morning show ladies and gentlemen. Let me have it. What
- 10:05Speaker 1: you want, Steve, your undivided attention. But you're gonna do
- 10:09Speaker 1: with it. I'm gonna share something with you. What the news, well, Steve,
- 10:13Speaker 1: get to it. What is the news? Well? You ought
- 10:16Speaker 1: to be grateful this morning because you woke up, you
- 10:19Speaker 1: got all your faculties, you have a measure of health.
- 10:23Speaker 1: God has given you a new opportunity, a new day
- 10:25Speaker 1: that has a lot of gratitude. Ought to be in here.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Gratitude affects your attitude, which turns into a direct correlation
- 10:32Speaker 1: with your altitude today in every way, every day, in
- 10:39Speaker 1: every way, I'm getting better and better. Man, oh man,
- 10:43Speaker 1: oh man, Yes, I am got me some love. What
- 10:47Speaker 1: health I got That's just fine. I take it. God
- 10:50Speaker 1: will issue here that, but I'm working through it, getting
- 10:53Speaker 1: bad at it. Man. Let's go, Steve Harbin, Martin Show,
- 10:56Speaker 1: Charley Strawberry colliferral Mouth to the South Junior and the
- 10:59Speaker 1: legend it is nephew Tommy Junior. What is it today? Yeah,
- 11:03Speaker 1: let me talk to you man, because you you know,
- 11:05Speaker 1: you talked about last time we talk you to it
- 11:07Speaker 1: about discipline, you know, having a discipline. But going along
- 11:10Speaker 1: with that, how his accountability play a role in this too?
- 11:13Speaker 1: On your journey the accountability factor, Well, that's an odd
- 11:20Speaker 1: question because accountability varies from person to person. I would
- 11:26Speaker 1: imagine in trying to stay with the question of accountability. See,
- 11:34Speaker 1: I have reasons. I don't know if I call an
- 11:39Speaker 1: accountability maybe you do. But I have reasons that I exist,
- 11:44Speaker 1: very pointed reasons. My family, in the order of importance,
- 11:52Speaker 1: I exist purely because of my God. Second, my family,
- 11:59Speaker 1: third most important thing. After that, it's my relationships that
- 12:06Speaker 1: I conformed throughout life, and then fourth it's my business.
- 12:12Speaker 1: I have very little time the older I get for
- 12:15Speaker 1: foolishness in between. Now I know how to enjoy myself golf,
- 12:21Speaker 1: cigarf vacations. I have very little time for foolishness in between,
- 12:28Speaker 1: because I'm too close to the tape to mess up.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Now I'm I'm at a certain place on the wall
- 12:34Speaker 1: I've climbed a certain level on the letter, and at
- 12:36Speaker 1: this age of sixty six, if I fall from this height,
- 12:41Speaker 1: at this age, I don't have time to repair it.
- 12:44Speaker 1: So you can mess up. When you're thirty, you got
- 12:46Speaker 1: time to fix it. Thirty five you can fix it.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Fought it, you can fix it. You get up at
- 12:50Speaker 1: that five old mark. You got to cut all this
- 12:52Speaker 1: monkey business down because I don't know how you're gonna
- 12:55Speaker 1: keep fixing it. You running out of time. Your energy
- 12:59Speaker 1: level ain't what you used to be. You understand, so
- 13:01Speaker 1: I don't know what to tell you. Yeah, so God,
- 13:05Speaker 1: family relationships and business, that's it. You don't fit in now.
- 13:10Speaker 1: I really ain't got a whole lot of time for you.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Please stop DM and me because I really don't know
- 13:14Speaker 1: how to answer DM to bed, not from me, tell me,
- 13:17Speaker 1: you call me. But very few people get returned on
- 13:20Speaker 1: the DM. Waste of time to DM again important especially
- 13:27Speaker 1: as a grown ass man. All right, I was single.
- 13:30Speaker 1: I would accept anyway, but you're not. On that note.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Coming up a thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll
- 13:41Speaker 1: hear from the nephew as he runs that prank back
- 13:43Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening Morning Show coming up at
- 13:48Speaker 1: the top of the hour, ladies and gentlemen, Vice President
- 13:52Speaker 1: Kamala Harris will be our special guest. Yeah, that is
- 13:57Speaker 1: exciting right there. Yes, can't wait for that. But right
- 14:03Speaker 1: now it's time to start your morning off with the
- 14:06Speaker 1: nephew as he runs that prank back, nephew, what do
- 14:09Speaker 1: you have this morning for us? Well, we got an
- 14:12Speaker 1: egg shorty, Shirley, So this is baby chick, baby chick.
- 14:17Speaker 1: All right, eggs Shorty. Let's go condalk. Okay, thank you
- 14:21Speaker 1: for coming. I'm trying to reach warn the manager. He
- 14:24Speaker 1: is hunching one second place, which is warn thank you
- 14:27Speaker 1: for calling. Help you you know you? Are you the
- 14:29Speaker 1: manager there? Yes, sir? Your name Warren, Yes, sir, this
- 14:32Speaker 1: is one. Okay, I need to actually file a lawsuit
- 14:36Speaker 1: on y'all, and I'm actually calling you first to let
- 14:39Speaker 1: you know that I'm getting ready to file a lawsuit
- 14:41Speaker 1: on the whole grocery store for what did happened to me? Sir?
- 14:46Speaker 1: Let me let me get hold on a second. So
- 14:48Speaker 1: let me do this. What did you say your name was?
- 14:51Speaker 1: My name is Evans. Evans is my name? So Evans
- 14:55Speaker 1: is your last name? Let me let me write this down.
- 14:57Speaker 1: And you came into my store, did you I had
- 15:00Speaker 1: an accident in my store or something? I just have
- 15:02Speaker 1: to show what you're calling about. I ain't had no accident.
- 15:05Speaker 1: What album was? I came in there yesterday and I
- 15:08Speaker 1: bought a bunch of grocers and I bought a cart
- 15:10Speaker 1: in the eggs right now. When I got home, I
- 15:14Speaker 1: was checking to make sure the eggs didn't didn't break
- 15:16Speaker 1: on the way home. When I got home, it was
- 15:19Speaker 1: a baby chick inside the egg carding man. One of
- 15:22Speaker 1: the eggs had it had a hatch, and got my
- 15:25Speaker 1: kids traumatized. And now they don't even want to eat
- 15:27Speaker 1: breakfast or nothing around here because it's a baby chick
- 15:30Speaker 1: inside caught the eggs. That don't make no man um.
- 15:36Speaker 1: I don't mean to uh let me so you tell
- 15:38Speaker 1: me it was a chicken, a baby chicken, actual chicken,
- 15:41Speaker 1: and then a baby chick inside the cart and the
- 15:44Speaker 1: eggs man, and you got my kids traumatized. Man, don't
- 15:48Speaker 1: nobody want eggs here? Because if you just calmed now
- 15:52Speaker 1: for one second, listen what I told y'all put that
- 15:57Speaker 1: chicken down and then put it down, it might have ready.
- 16:00Speaker 1: See say what I don't even think that that's possible.
- 16:04Speaker 1: First of all, if you had any idea how this
- 16:06Speaker 1: thing comes from the farm to the store, they go
- 16:09Speaker 1: over these eggs a countless summertimes, and the temperature and
- 16:12Speaker 1: the freezer, first of all, wasn't even allow for a
- 16:15Speaker 1: chicken to be allied. I don't know how this one
- 16:18Speaker 1: got tasked the system, okay, But what I do know
- 16:21Speaker 1: is we got a baby chick over here running around
- 16:25Speaker 1: because y'all show ain't doing what y'all's supposed to do. Man,
- 16:28Speaker 1: and I got it, and now my kids are traumatized
- 16:30Speaker 1: behind this. When did you say you were in here?
- 16:32Speaker 1: So I was in there yesterday. I bought the eggs
- 16:35Speaker 1: just today. Man, down here, and I'm free. Yes, I
- 16:40Speaker 1: bought him, he up said the grocery stove. I sure did. Okay,
- 16:44Speaker 1: let's do this. Why don't you bring the eggs into
- 16:46Speaker 1: me and the chick? You want me to transport a
- 16:50Speaker 1: baby chick back to the grocery store. I look, we
- 16:54Speaker 1: already traumatized over here, already behind this dog bone baby chick. Man.
- 16:58Speaker 1: I'm I'm not exactly what you're trying to pull here,
- 17:02Speaker 1: but I just don't that. First of all, any anyone
- 17:05Speaker 1: of a common sense will tell you that that's not possible.
- 17:08Speaker 1: First of all, you can't have a baby chick living
- 17:11Speaker 1: in a dozen eggs. There is no possible way. The
- 17:15Speaker 1: temperature and live freezers are right above freezing. There's no
- 17:19Speaker 1: chickens or fragile creature in the first place. You can't
- 17:22Speaker 1: have a little bird is not going to survive the
- 17:25Speaker 1: transport from the farm to the factory to my store.
- 17:30Speaker 1: I'm not he hey, hey, I'm not gonna go back
- 17:34Speaker 1: and forth, but you remember that baby sho. If you
- 17:37Speaker 1: want to bring me a dozen eggs, bring the dozen
- 17:40Speaker 1: eggs in if you can catch the chick, catch the chick.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Hey man, you came you. You're supposed to be the minute.
- 17:45Speaker 1: You're not supposed to talk to me like this. So
- 17:46Speaker 1: I mean, I don't tell you, as politely as possible
- 17:49Speaker 1: if you want to bring in the leaven eggs and
- 17:52Speaker 1: a chick, I will gladly refurge your money, give you
- 17:55Speaker 1: another car, and ask whatever you want to do. But
- 17:57Speaker 1: I'm not. I don't even tell you what I don't happen.
- 17:59Speaker 1: And I'm not a lawsuit because y'all to traumatized me
- 18:02Speaker 1: and my she s listen, right, let's just bring this
- 18:06Speaker 1: down a lawsuit, sir. It over a dozen eggs, A
- 18:12Speaker 1: dozen eggs that got a baby chick in it. Man,
- 18:15Speaker 1: But let let me get your phone number and some
- 18:17Speaker 1: information and our talk to my manager and we will
- 18:21Speaker 1: figure this thing out for you, because I just I
- 18:23Speaker 1: just don't believe that this would be possible. I just
- 18:26Speaker 1: I don't understand how you would have a chick let him,
- 18:30Speaker 1: Let just leave him over there, don't touch the chicken.
- 18:33Speaker 1: I just don't believe that this could possibly be happy, sir.
- 18:36Speaker 1: This is just it's unbelievable to move even get this fun.
- 18:40Speaker 1: I don't have time to go back and forth with
- 18:42Speaker 1: you about how something happened. All I know is it.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Maybe it's some fluke accident, Okay, but it happened. My
- 18:49Speaker 1: kids are old here put in with a baby chick,
- 18:52Speaker 1: and I'm traumatized. I don't even want to ever have
- 18:55Speaker 1: prick up again. And I'm gonna to make jokes. I
- 18:58Speaker 1: file a lawsuit on old show and your show me,
- 19:02Speaker 1: I don't concus, and he says, you're doing me. I
- 19:05Speaker 1: didn't do anything, uh except coming to her today. You
- 19:08Speaker 1: understand what I'm saying. If you are a far rossing.
- 19:11Speaker 1: I found the lawsuit I'm throwing up to the older
- 19:14Speaker 1: grocery stow and I'm founding a lawsuit on the manager Warren,
- 19:18Speaker 1: which is your for giving me a hard time about
- 19:21Speaker 1: what I'm telling you don't happen. I don't even got
- 19:23Speaker 1: a hard time out of me. Lad you understand I'm
- 19:25Speaker 1: saying you are a hard time. Come down here with
- 19:28Speaker 1: I'm bringing the bags down here, and I'm bringing that
- 19:31Speaker 1: baby chick that backup down there. I'm bringing all of it, well, Poe,
- 19:35Speaker 1: because I'm about to see it how much as he
- 19:38Speaker 1: played for those eggs. I'm paid my two down and
- 19:40Speaker 1: it ain't a blood how much I'm paid for the edge.
- 19:42Speaker 1: That's what you have, trauma kind Oh yeah, because I'm
- 19:44Speaker 1: gonna give you just bot much back and out working

- 20:00Speaker 1: have a guy that works at the check out our
- 20:02Speaker 1: name of Tyrant. Yeah, okay, Tyrant got me the prank phone.

- 20:53Speaker 1: There you go. All right, nephew, thank you. Coming up
- 20:59Speaker 1: next to this, asked the Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey.
- 21:02Speaker 1: In the building, ready for your love questions right after this.
- 21:06Speaker 1: You're listening to the show coming up at the top
- 21:10Speaker 1: of the hour, Vice President Kamala Harris will be our
- 21:13Speaker 1: special guest, and we cannot wait for that. Let me
- 21:17Speaker 1: tell you pass. But right now it is time to
- 21:23Speaker 1: ask the CLO Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey. Here we go,
- 21:28Speaker 1: Shell and Detroit writes, I'm forty years old and divorced.
- 21:32Speaker 1: My ex husband cheated on me and he can't deal
- 21:35Speaker 1: with the guilt of hurting me. He still cuts my
- 21:38Speaker 1: yard and pays my ho eighties and my utilities. He
- 21:42Speaker 1: also has my car detailed at my home every other week.
- 21:46Speaker 1: It's annoying and I want it to stop. Am I
- 21:49Speaker 1: going to have to move to get rid of him? Girl? Oh?
- 21:56Speaker 1: This is perfect her call a girl. You tripping, get
- 22:02Speaker 1: your yard cut, you get your homeown association? Dudes paid?
- 22:07Speaker 1: He details your car right there. He messed up. He
- 22:12Speaker 1: still loves you. It's annoying to you. You know you
- 22:15Speaker 1: wanted to mass you something at least with this annoyance.
- 22:20Speaker 1: That is some benefits. Yes, there you go. You're gonna
- 22:25Speaker 1: mess around me the man, You're just gonna annoy your
- 22:27Speaker 1: ass and that month huh So you know he know
- 22:33Speaker 1: he messed up. He in deep regret. He lost best
- 22:37Speaker 1: thing he ever had, messed around with, something he didn't
- 22:39Speaker 1: even want. You know, y'all, Mike could get this thing
- 22:42Speaker 1: back together. I don't know. You might depend, but don't
- 22:44Speaker 1: seem like you want to at all. But yeah, she
- 22:46Speaker 1: wants to get rid of them. Yeah, yeah, she's done. Yeah,
- 22:50Speaker 1: she might go so far as to move all right,
- 22:54Speaker 1: Moving on to Valerie in Houston. I know it's a
- 22:57Speaker 1: perfect setup. Valerie in Houston says, I'm the youngest of
- 23:00Speaker 1: four siblings and they're all married with a total of
- 23:04Speaker 1: twelve children. I'm twenty eight and single with a small
- 23:09Speaker 1: savings account. As the auntie. My siblings expect me to
- 23:12Speaker 1: buy stuff for their kids birthdays for Christmas and then
- 23:16Speaker 1: support all of their schools fundraisers. Would it be wrong
- 23:19Speaker 1: to start telling them, no, well, you know, do birthdays.
- 23:23Speaker 1: You gotta go old school birthday. You get a card
- 23:27Speaker 1: and you get a dollar of however, oh you are,
- 23:31Speaker 1: oh okay, you know you're right, or you get four
- 23:36Speaker 1: dollars Christmas, get a family game, give it to all
- 23:40Speaker 1: of them, a board game. Marry Christmas to the kids,
- 23:49Speaker 1: you know, and that's how you do it. But supporting
- 23:54Speaker 1: day fund raisers, you know, quit, just you know, go vegan.
- 23:57Speaker 1: You ain't got to eat no more girl Scout cookies,
- 24:00Speaker 1: you know, and all this here, you know, by all
- 24:02Speaker 1: this stuff, that's all you gotta do, you know, just
- 24:05Speaker 1: you gotta start lying data. And they had all these
- 24:08Speaker 1: babies now, Jay want you to help pay for them.
- 24:10Speaker 1: We ain't even do all that, you know, So you know,
- 24:15Speaker 1: stop letting people guilt you into stuff. Guilt is the
- 24:19Speaker 1: most useless emotion in the world. It serves nobody accepted
- 24:22Speaker 1: person that's applying it, and guilt usually turns into manipulation, blackmail.
- 24:29Speaker 1: All of that all right? Thank you, Cello, that was good.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Milane and Saint Philly says. I booked a couple's massage
- 24:36Speaker 1: for my mom and I so we could be in
- 24:38Speaker 1: the same room. We both requested a mail to do
- 24:41Speaker 1: our massages. I told my mother to leave her panties on,
- 24:45Speaker 1: but as soon as we got in the room, I
- 24:47Speaker 1: saw that she was naked. She flirted with a poor
- 24:50Speaker 1: guy the entire time. How do I control a sixty
- 24:54Speaker 1: year old vixen? Let them growls go? He has see
- 25:00Speaker 1: the problem is I think her mama look like a mama.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Draws them big draws. It wasn't they wasn't the throng
- 25:08Speaker 1: or nothing, them draws. They had to move at once.
- 25:11Speaker 1: He was the male of h Masseuse was using the
- 25:15Speaker 1: draws as a as a throw rug. Really, how do
- 25:23Speaker 1: you even as with them lit balls on it? Mama,
- 25:26Speaker 1: can you keep your pattis on? You don't tell me
- 25:28Speaker 1: to keep your pat How you think you got him exactly?
- 25:34Speaker 1: How do you ye? There's no controlling sixty year old mom?
- 25:44Speaker 1: You know look like you know what that look like?
- 25:47Speaker 1: Harder right here on the table? Wow, my back, mama
- 25:58Speaker 1: with that blanket on? Please she had to turn off?
- 26:10Speaker 1: All right, all right, moving mom, This is the last one.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Steve Brittany in Studio City says, my roommate and I
- 26:17Speaker 1: have lived together for a year and it worked out
- 26:20Speaker 1: fine because she's an introvert. We're not the best of friends,
- 26:24Speaker 1: but we hang out. She told me she's going to
- 26:26Speaker 1: elope with the man she met online. I'm worried that
- 26:30Speaker 1: he will try to move in with us. Should I
- 26:32Speaker 1: make plans to move or talk to her first? Now?
- 26:35Speaker 1: This is her mamma, No, no, no, this is her roommate. Mama,
- 26:39Speaker 1: her roommate. Yeah, her roommate met a guy online that
- 26:43Speaker 1: she wants to marry. Now, now the other roommate is
- 26:47Speaker 1: afraid that she's going to bring this guy. You got
- 26:49Speaker 1: to get out, You got to get out. This is foolishness.
- 26:51Speaker 1: You need letting what all gonna happen? Need to just
- 26:53Speaker 1: happened to her? Listen to me. Somebody has gonna have
- 26:57Speaker 1: to talk to the news reporters and the polo least.
- 27:00Speaker 1: You know, I've always thought that should be me. I
- 27:04Speaker 1: never thought I shouldn't be the point of discussion. I
- 27:08Speaker 1: always try to put myself in a position where I'm
- 27:11Speaker 1: talking to the reporters and the police. I don't ever
- 27:15Speaker 1: want to be the subject of the reporter and the pot.
- 27:19Speaker 1: So I tried I would distance myself and clear myself
- 27:22Speaker 1: so I could go on it, because somebody gonna have
- 27:24Speaker 1: to tell her side to her. You know, when she
- 27:26Speaker 1: went on, I told her to have him come. I
- 27:33Speaker 1: missed her so much. Yeah see, And what you should
- 27:38Speaker 1: do is do a re enactment of a news story
- 27:41Speaker 1: and and just send it to her as as a
- 27:44Speaker 1: phone and it be you crying and her friends cried,
- 27:47Speaker 1: get her whole family involved in it, and do a
- 27:49Speaker 1: fake she gone video. You know that's a wake up call.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Yehoshop her and the casket, send it to her. Yeah, yeah,
- 28:00Speaker 1: stop looking shop. Yeah, don't all this. You met how
- 28:06Speaker 1: many times you see people? He lived across the hall.
- 28:08Speaker 1: He can kill thirteen people. He was so nice, you see,
- 28:14Speaker 1: that get suspicious t considering eloping and marrying this man
- 28:20Speaker 1: she met online. So yeah, damn man, that's crazy. Yeah,
- 28:27Speaker 1: make plans to move, that's her question. Should she make
- 28:30Speaker 1: plans to move or talk to her roommate first, saying
- 28:34Speaker 1: skip the talking and just move. Elope usually ends up
- 28:40Speaker 1: in a life of pain. M h m m. Yeah.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Wait what did your say state Elope stands ends up
- 28:50Speaker 1: in a life of pain? Elope? Oh? Yeah, down to it.
- 28:56Speaker 1: Really you're saying I couldn't spend it, toll. No, I'm
- 28:59Speaker 1: glad you say it like that because on the end
- 29:03Speaker 1: ain't right now. The proper spelling is E l O
- 29:07Speaker 1: p E elo. Well, what dude, difference If you don't
- 29:11Speaker 1: ever get to the eve, that's what E mean, end
- 29:15Speaker 1: end end. If you don't get to that call el
- 29:18Speaker 1: e l op, you don't get to the end, That
- 29:21Speaker 1: e is the elo. Thank you clo. Coming up at
- 29:27Speaker 1: the top of the hour, Vice President Kamala Harris right
- 29:31Speaker 1: here right after this you're listening show, hid everybody asked promise.
- 29:40Speaker 1: We have a very very special guest this morning on
- 29:42Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. It is a person that when
- 29:47Speaker 1: they were running for office. I actually told her I said,
- 29:50Speaker 1: the next time I talk to you, you will be
- 29:53Speaker 1: the vice President of the United States, she said to
- 29:56Speaker 1: God's end. But God was listening. She is here. This
- 30:01Speaker 1: is a very very special guest about today. She happens
- 30:04Speaker 1: to be the forty ninth Vice President of the United States.
- 30:07Speaker 1: She is the first female vice president and the highest
- 30:10Speaker 1: ranking female official in United States history at today in
- 30:14Speaker 1: such a special day for me and all of us
- 30:16Speaker 1: here because for the first time I'm sitting across from
- 30:18Speaker 1: the Vice President and I'm so honored to have this
- 30:21Speaker 1: special conversation with her. So let's get to it, ladies,
- 30:24Speaker 1: and gener know Steve Harvey more to show the one
- 30:26Speaker 1: and only the Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris. Oh,
- 30:30Speaker 1: it is so good to be here, Adam, Vice President.
- 30:33Speaker 1: How you doing it? I am very well, mister Harvey.
- 30:35Speaker 1: How are you doing It's been two years? Has it
- 30:38Speaker 1: sunky in yet? You know it is always at some
- 30:45Speaker 1: point every day that it is always something new about
- 30:49Speaker 1: it that is really phenomenal. You know, just as I
- 30:54Speaker 1: landed in Atlanta, we had a whole just dozens, dozens
- 31:00Speaker 1: of school children who greeted me wow. And they were
- 31:04Speaker 1: there with their bright faces and they were not average
- 31:08Speaker 1: as somewhere between eight and twelve years old, and they
- 31:11Speaker 1: watched the plane land, and then they were there, and
- 31:13Speaker 1: I walked over across the tarmac to meet with them
- 31:17Speaker 1: and to see it through their eyes, and for them
- 31:21Speaker 1: to see someone that looks like them, that gives them
- 31:24Speaker 1: a sense of who they are or reconfirms for them
- 31:28Speaker 1: who they are, that never gets old, that never gets old.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Could you let me ask you this way? You were
- 31:37Speaker 1: running for Brife president with President Brife, Yes, you finally
- 31:42Speaker 1: get the position. Is there any way you could have
- 31:45Speaker 1: imagined who all it was, what it entailed? Is there
- 31:48Speaker 1: any way to know that? There are some things you
- 31:51Speaker 1: just don't know until you do it? True? There it
- 31:54Speaker 1: just there are there's There are things that you will
- 31:58Speaker 1: that will prepare you. Life will prepare your experiences will
- 32:01Speaker 1: prepare you. But to be vice president of the United States,
- 32:05Speaker 1: especially coming into office after a pandemic that the world
- 32:10Speaker 1: has never seen, to come into office after the economic
- 32:15Speaker 1: hardship that resulted from that, and to get to work
- 32:18Speaker 1: on day one in a time where people were losing
- 32:22Speaker 1: loved ones and losing hope is an experience I don't
- 32:26Speaker 1: think anyone could be prepared for, but you rise to
- 32:29Speaker 1: the experience. You know what that's like. The leaders among
- 32:31Speaker 1: your audience know what that's like. You do what you
- 32:33Speaker 1: gotta do. A parent knows this every day. You just
- 32:35Speaker 1: do what you have to do. It may not be
- 32:37Speaker 1: a manual for it, but there's no question that you
- 32:40Speaker 1: need to get the work done. Wow. The only thing
- 32:44Speaker 1: I got to compare to that is marriage. But what
- 32:49Speaker 1: just didn't quite know what to expect walking in kind
- 32:53Speaker 1: of walk in and what no manual for it? Next thing,
- 32:56Speaker 1: you know, it just got to get the job done.
- 32:58Speaker 1: Do what you gotta do. That's what it is. You know.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Whatever I interview, well I can't say people like this
- 33:06Speaker 1: because there's only one. But whenever I had these interviews,
- 33:09Speaker 1: you know, I try to talk personally to people, you know,
- 33:11Speaker 1: because you know, I think it's good when people get
- 33:13Speaker 1: to hear the personal side of a person, you know,
- 33:16Speaker 1: kind of what they think about different things and stuff
- 33:19Speaker 1: like that. And it kind of remembered it was like, uh,
- 33:22Speaker 1: at the President Biden's State of the Union address, Yes,
- 33:26Speaker 1: you know, I gotta tell you, Uh, that's that's the
- 33:28Speaker 1: one I was waiting on. That was the one I
- 33:32Speaker 1: was particularly waiting on and I was sitting there watching it.
- 33:35Speaker 1: I kind of wanted to talk about that with you,
- 33:38Speaker 1: because he first of all, what was your take? Give
- 33:41Speaker 1: me your personal take as a person sitting back there,
- 33:45Speaker 1: what do you think of it? Up? It was outstanding
- 33:47Speaker 1: because he was in command. He spoke the voice of
- 33:52Speaker 1: the people who have never been in that room, but
- 33:55Speaker 1: who should be the priority of the people in that room.
- 33:58Speaker 1: He talked about working people, talked about the dignity of work.
- 34:01Speaker 1: He talked about the creation of jobs, many of which
- 34:05Speaker 1: will not require a college degree, but will require the
- 34:08Speaker 1: kind of training and skills that we know all people
- 34:10Speaker 1: bring to their work. He talked about the fact that
- 34:13Speaker 1: we need to pay public school teachers more and value
- 34:16Speaker 1: what they do and the gift they give society. I
- 34:20Speaker 1: thought he was outstanding, and I thought that he also
- 34:22Speaker 1: was in so many ways in command of the moment, because,
- 34:27Speaker 1: in spite of the theatrics that popped up from time
- 34:30Speaker 1: to time during the evening, he stayed focused. He was
- 34:34Speaker 1: clear why he was there. He was there to speak
- 34:36Speaker 1: to the American people in their living rooms through that
- 34:39Speaker 1: TV and talk with them about what he acknowledged, which is,
- 34:43Speaker 1: you know, folks, have gone through pain. Some folks are
- 34:45Speaker 1: still really hurting, and so the job is not done.
- 34:48Speaker 1: We have more to do when we're gonna keep doing it,
- 34:50Speaker 1: he talked about, I mean, look at the issue of diabetes.
- 34:53Speaker 1: For example, I'll raise my hand, as do most people
- 34:57Speaker 1: I know. If you have or you know someone in
- 35:00Speaker 1: your family who has diabetes, Black folks people of color
- 35:04Speaker 1: are much more likely to be diagnosed with diabetes. And
- 35:07Speaker 1: for our seniors, how many of them have been faced
- 35:11Speaker 1: with the awful false choice of either they're gonna pay
- 35:15Speaker 1: their rent or pay for the food they need, or
- 35:18Speaker 1: fill their prescription for the insolent A doctor said they
- 35:22Speaker 1: should take. Well, now we've capped the cost of insulhen
- 35:25Speaker 1: for our seniors at thirty five dollars a month. That's important.
- 35:29Speaker 1: And to talk with the people about, as he did,
- 35:33Speaker 1: the right that people have to expect certain things from
- 35:37Speaker 1: their government. And then they stood in those lines in
- 35:39Speaker 1: twenty twenty and said this is what I want, and
- 35:42Speaker 1: they voted in places like Georgia and some other places
- 35:46Speaker 1: that have been making it more difficult for people to vote,
- 35:48Speaker 1: but they stood in line, they voted, and they got that.
- 35:51Speaker 1: And he delivered not only on the promise, but he
- 35:55Speaker 1: delivered on the importance of meeting the people's demands. You know,
- 36:00Speaker 1: we're gonna get into some more this because there was
- 36:02Speaker 1: several points and when I was listening to the State
- 36:04Speaker 1: of Union Address that I really want I want to
- 36:07Speaker 1: ask somebody point blank about some specific things. We'll be
- 36:10Speaker 1: back everybody. We just here with our special guests this morning,
- 36:13Speaker 1: the Vice President of the United States, Vice President Kamala Harris.
- 36:16Speaker 1: Will be right back more Steve Hard Morning Show. Right
- 36:18Speaker 1: after this. You're listening, all right, everybody, We're back in
- 36:24Speaker 1: our special guests this morning is our Vice President of
- 36:28Speaker 1: the United States, our forty ninth vice President, the one
- 36:31Speaker 1: and only Vice President, Kamala Harrison. We're talking about the
- 36:34Speaker 1: State of the Union address. I was complimenting her about
- 36:38Speaker 1: President Biden's whole persona that he had the night on
- 36:42Speaker 1: that even I was asking her take on it. He
- 36:44Speaker 1: pointed out something in the thing. He said that you
- 36:46Speaker 1: were very important in some of his causes with small business.
- 36:50Speaker 1: Tell us a little bit about Yes. As you know, Steve,
- 36:53Speaker 1: I was born in Oakland, California. I was raised my
- 36:55Speaker 1: sister and I buy our mother, who worked long days
- 36:58Speaker 1: and weekends and then two doors down, our second mother
- 37:03Speaker 1: was Miss Shelton, who was part of that whole exodus
- 37:07Speaker 1: of black folks from the South who went to California.
- 37:09Speaker 1: So she was from Louisiana. Her husband was from Arkansas.
- 37:13Speaker 1: And Miss Shelton was a small business owner. She owned
- 37:17Speaker 1: the nursery school where we lived on top of. We
- 37:20Speaker 1: lived on top of the nursery school in the apartment.
- 37:22Speaker 1: That's where we grew up, and she was the second
- 37:23Speaker 1: mother to us. When my mother worked late. We walked
- 37:26Speaker 1: two doors down and grew up there as much as
- 37:30Speaker 1: we did at home. And Miss Shelton was not only
- 37:34Speaker 1: was she a business owner and a leader in that way,
- 37:38Speaker 1: she was a civic leader. She was a community leader.
- 37:41Speaker 1: She would hire from the community, she would mentor and train,
- 37:44Speaker 1: she would console the local mothers. And when I think
- 37:49Speaker 1: about who our small business owners are, and I've been
- 37:53Speaker 1: traveling in the country meeting with them for years, that's
- 37:55Speaker 1: who they are. They're the ones who who will and
- 38:00Speaker 1: or woman who will be the ones who sponsored the
- 38:02Speaker 1: local softball league, who will mentor the young people in
- 38:06Speaker 1: the community, who are part of the civic and the
- 38:09Speaker 1: cultural fabric, not to mention the economic fabric of the community.
- 38:14Speaker 1: And as it turns out, half of America's workforce works
- 38:19Speaker 1: for a small business or owns a small business, so
- 38:21Speaker 1: you're also talking about a lot of people. So the
- 38:24Speaker 1: work that I've been doing, I did it when I
- 38:25Speaker 1: was in the Senate and now as Vice President, has
- 38:27Speaker 1: been to increase access to capital for small business owners
- 38:31Speaker 1: because we have so many people in the community who
- 38:34Speaker 1: have a good idea, but they don't necessarily have access
- 38:38Speaker 1: to the capital to start or grow a small business.
- 38:40Speaker 1: I can't tell you the number of small business owners
- 38:42Speaker 1: who told me when they first went to a big
- 38:45Speaker 1: bank with their idea, they heard a word they'd never
- 38:48Speaker 1: heard before. They were told they were unbankable. But then
- 38:52Speaker 1: they went to the community bank led by community leaders
- 38:56Speaker 1: who know the community, who know what the community wants
- 38:58Speaker 1: and needs. And so that is the work I've been doing,
- 39:01Speaker 1: which is bringing money billions of dollars through our administration
- 39:06Speaker 1: to the community banks. I've been encouraging the private sector,
- 39:10Speaker 1: so Google and some of the big banks to also
- 39:12Speaker 1: put capital investment into the community banks, who then give
- 39:17Speaker 1: that money into the community to our small businesses and
- 39:19Speaker 1: also help them with financial literacy. Everybody just sit tight,
- 39:23Speaker 1: we'll be right back. We're talking with the Vice President
- 39:25Speaker 1: of United States, Vice President Kamala Harris, and we'll be
- 39:28Speaker 1: right back with more on the Steve Harvard Mourner Show.
- 39:31Speaker 1: You're listening to Hi and everybody. We're back in our
- 39:37Speaker 1: special guest this morning is the forty ninth Vice President
- 39:40Speaker 1: of the United States, first female vice president of the
- 39:43Speaker 1: United States. It's the one and only Vice President, Kamala Harris.
- 39:47Speaker 1: So here's the things we have made a commitment President
- 39:50Speaker 1: Biden and our administration. We're going to increase by fifty
- 39:54Speaker 1: percent the number of federal contracts that go to minority
- 39:56Speaker 1: owned businesses. So you see the math on that. Then
- 40:00Speaker 1: let's put more resources into the community banks, create more
- 40:04Speaker 1: access to capital for people in the community. Also, knowing
- 40:08Speaker 1: that we're going to be putting more money into manufacturing, construction,
- 40:13Speaker 1: the kinds of businesses that will get the job done
- 40:16Speaker 1: of building back up our infrastructure. So let's create that
- 40:19Speaker 1: ecosystem where everyone has equal opportunity right to thrive economically. Yeah,
- 40:27Speaker 1: I think that's actually you know, I'm going to ask
- 40:29Speaker 1: you two more questions. Okay, the last question is a
- 40:32Speaker 1: personal question. Okay, but this question right here is about
- 40:36Speaker 1: a part of last night. You know, this country after
- 40:39Speaker 1: the last administration, to me, became more divided than ever
- 40:43Speaker 1: before because I just saw something in this country I've
- 40:46Speaker 1: never seen. I'm sixty six years old. I've seen it.
- 40:49Speaker 1: I've seen it and so and I've always been a
- 40:51Speaker 1: voting so I've watched it go down. America has always
- 40:55Speaker 1: been known as one of the powers of and even
- 40:59Speaker 1: in the soft industry thes like sports and movies and
- 41:05Speaker 1: TV and all of this brand's education. But it's kind
- 41:09Speaker 1: of taken a hit lately with the with the gun violence,
- 41:13Speaker 1: with the racial violence, with the January sixth incident. What
- 41:17Speaker 1: does it look hopeful from you guys side up there? Illustration?
- 41:22Speaker 1: How do we work with the other side? I just
- 41:25Speaker 1: hate it when I see one side standing up clapping
- 41:28Speaker 1: in the other side sitting there on their hands. But
- 41:30Speaker 1: then for a whole group of people to make no
- 41:33Speaker 1: damn sense at all, I'm stunned about that. How are
- 41:36Speaker 1: you all trying to get through this? Because I know
- 41:38Speaker 1: President Biden has talked about it a lot reaching across
- 41:41Speaker 1: the album, and no, I mean, look, there is no
- 41:44Speaker 1: denying we look at what happened January sixth, right before
- 41:47Speaker 1: we were inaugurated. Yeah, the election that happened. We were
- 41:50Speaker 1: inaugurated January twenty. January sixth, they stormed the capital. People
- 41:54Speaker 1: stormed the capitol, and so called leaders who are in
- 41:58Speaker 1: a position to say that this is an attack on
- 42:01Speaker 1: our democracy and our democratic institutions remained silent. Well at first,
- 42:05Speaker 1: but then will cut you up. At first they were appalled.
- 42:09Speaker 1: Oh they were Oh, McConnell and Mitch Boys was in
- 42:13Speaker 1: there having a fit about this all that, this is it.
- 42:16Speaker 1: I can't take it no more. They're gonna have to
- 42:18Speaker 1: go down now all of a sudden, and they were
- 42:20Speaker 1: just protested. I don't understand. Let's talk about what we do.
- 42:25Speaker 1: Understand what we do now. We do know that this
- 42:28Speaker 1: is not the first time in the history of our
- 42:29Speaker 1: country where we have seen people who resist and fight
- 42:34Speaker 1: against the ideals of our country. Right. We are a
- 42:36Speaker 1: nation that was founded on principles that are about freedom,
- 42:39Speaker 1: about liberty, about equality, and about justice. But we've not
- 42:42Speaker 1: always had that. We are still very much a work
- 42:46Speaker 1: in progress as a nation, and sometimes we take steps
- 42:50Speaker 1: forward and then there are times we take a step back.
- 42:53Speaker 1: January sixth was a step back. People who deny a
- 42:57Speaker 1: fair and free election. Well, that's backward, but the nation
- 43:02Speaker 1: has not gone backward as a whole. And I point
- 43:05Speaker 1: to just most recently what happened in the midterms. We're
- 43:09Speaker 1: here in Georgia. Reverend Raphael Warnock was elected a United
- 43:14Speaker 1: States Senator from the state of Georgia, together with John Ausof,
- 43:18Speaker 1: a black man and a Jewish man from the state
- 43:21Speaker 1: of Georgia. You look at what we did in terms
- 43:24Speaker 1: of electing. There were I think eleven candidates for Secretary
- 43:29Speaker 1: of State around the country. Those are the people, by
- 43:31Speaker 1: the way, that run elections, and eleven of them were
- 43:35Speaker 1: denying election deniers, denying the court proven the right because
- 43:41Speaker 1: it was challenging court election of who would be president
- 43:44Speaker 1: vice president United States. People were not down for the
- 43:47Speaker 1: crazy and that's where we have to look at who
- 43:53Speaker 1: we are as a nation. We will not be immune
- 43:56Speaker 1: from those who will attempt to weaken us from inside.
- 44:01Speaker 1: I think the most important thing is that the majority
- 44:04Speaker 1: of us stand up and fight for who we are
- 44:06Speaker 1: as a nation. Here's how I think about democracy. On
- 44:09Speaker 1: the one hand, democracies are strong, meaning that when they
- 44:12Speaker 1: are intact, it protects and uplifts people's rights, civil rights,
- 44:17Speaker 1: human rights, justice and equality. That's the strength. We'll be
- 44:20Speaker 1: right back. We're talking with the Vice President United States
- 44:23Speaker 1: Vice President Kamala Harrison. We'll be right back with more
- 44:26Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening right everybody,
- 44:33Speaker 1: We're back, and our special guest this morning is a
- 44:35Speaker 1: vice president, Madame, Vice President Kamala Harris. You're the Vice President.
- 44:41Speaker 1: I hear all the news stories and everything. What would
- 44:44Speaker 1: you want America to know about you that they may
- 44:49Speaker 1: not know or they may not be able to see
- 44:52Speaker 1: through with all of the clutter and all of the politics.
- 44:55Speaker 1: If you could explain yourself to them you're feeling what
- 44:59Speaker 1: we did? You say to them? For the people who don't,
- 45:02Speaker 1: who don't, who don't really know you? You know, I
- 45:08Speaker 1: I really do believe and of deep faith and the
- 45:16Speaker 1: goodness of people and in their capacity, God given capacity
- 45:24Speaker 1: that when given the opportunity, they will jump so high
- 45:30Speaker 1: and not only survive, but thrive. That's what motivates my work,
- 45:35Speaker 1: and that's what motivates me. I have been the beneficiary
- 45:39Speaker 1: of that. I stand on so many broadshoulders of people
- 45:42Speaker 1: who believed in me. This little girl was born a
- 45:46Speaker 1: Kaisa Hospital in Oakland, California, and who believed in me
- 45:51Speaker 1: and convinced me that I could be and am somebody.
- 45:56Speaker 1: And what drives me is, I know human potential that
- 46:01Speaker 1: when we have a society that invests in their children
- 46:04Speaker 1: and their people that kind of understanding and belief, we
- 46:08Speaker 1: will we will do really well. We will thrive, we
- 46:12Speaker 1: will survive, not just survive, we will thrive. And that's
- 46:16Speaker 1: what motivates me. That's truly what motivates me. So, you know,
- 46:20Speaker 1: there's all the stuff that could happen on a daily basis,
- 46:24Speaker 1: But you know, I eat no for breakfast. I don't
- 46:29Speaker 1: hear no. I don't hear no. If I if I
- 46:32Speaker 1: heard no, I would have never gotten out of bed
- 46:35Speaker 1: this morning or any day. I don't hear that. Wow,
- 46:38Speaker 1: that's amazing, man. You know. One of the things when
- 46:41Speaker 1: the President was talking and they stood up Tyree's parents parents,
- 46:47Speaker 1: well you know, and everybody clapped for them. You know, Look,
- 46:52Speaker 1: I've said it on this show. I know my brothers
- 46:54Speaker 1: have said it on their shows. Policemen are good people.
- 46:58Speaker 1: The average person comes to work and they are good people,
- 47:04Speaker 1: men and women who signed up to do the job
- 47:06Speaker 1: the way it's supposed to be done, and I really
- 47:09Speaker 1: believe that. But there's some bad apples in every bushel,
- 47:14Speaker 1: and we got some, and we got to start doing
- 47:17Speaker 1: something so we can make communities feel better about them.
- 47:22Speaker 1: Me personally, I believe that the only way to do
- 47:25Speaker 1: this is you have mandatory census singing. If I kill
- 47:28Speaker 1: a person Steve Harp, who didn't have a gun, who
- 47:32Speaker 1: was running or sitting in his car, if I kill
- 47:34Speaker 1: this person, that's nothing I can say in court that
- 47:37Speaker 1: gets me free. What is it about the other side
- 47:41Speaker 1: that will not allow them to see that on behalf
- 47:45Speaker 1: of all of the victims. Well, let me tell you.
- 47:47Speaker 1: I'm a Tendatarie Nichols funerals, And to your point about
- 47:55Speaker 1: the fairness of it all and the unfairness of it all,
- 48:00Speaker 1: to the point that motivates me on this problem is
- 48:04Speaker 1: what I said there. If you want to talk about
- 48:07Speaker 1: public safety, did not Tyrene Nichols have the right to
- 48:11Speaker 1: be safe as he drove a car or walked down
- 48:16Speaker 1: the street. Or for so many of our young men
- 48:19Speaker 1: and women, whether they're in their apartment playing a video
- 48:23Speaker 1: game or just walking home from schoolcare in a backpack,
- 48:27Speaker 1: have they not the right to be free of someone
- 48:30Speaker 1: approaching them and with a gun raise telling them to
- 48:34Speaker 1: drop to their knees and put their hand behind their
- 48:36Speaker 1: back if they've done nothing wrong. And so we should
- 48:40Speaker 1: start all people, all thinking people, all good people, should
- 48:45Speaker 1: start with certain principles, and one of them should be
- 48:48Speaker 1: that all people have the right to be safe, including
- 48:53Speaker 1: from the people who were sworn to protect them. And
- 48:59Speaker 1: you know, there's work to be done. Are we have
- 49:01Speaker 1: we have through executive order, the President has signed through
- 49:05Speaker 1: executive order what we have the capacity to do around
- 49:08Speaker 1: federal law enforcement, so on the issue of chokeholds, for example,
- 49:13Speaker 1: no knock warrants, for example. But the reality is that
- 49:17Speaker 1: so much of law enforcement is under the state rules
- 49:21Speaker 1: and local rule. And you know, I was an original
- 49:25Speaker 1: author of the George Flood Justice and Policing Act when
- 49:28Speaker 1: I was in the Senate. I feel very strongly that
- 49:31Speaker 1: to your point, there needs to be accountability for everybody.
- 49:36Speaker 1: You know, I as you know, in my career as
- 49:38Speaker 1: a prosecutor, we would talk about accountability all the time.
- 49:41Speaker 1: But it's interesting because in the criminal justice system, usually
- 49:45Speaker 1: when people talk about accountability is it is about the
- 49:48Speaker 1: accountability and individual has which is absolutely right. But what
- 49:53Speaker 1: about the accountability the system should have? Yes to the community, right,
- 49:58Speaker 1: and what about then holding the syste him accountable when
- 50:01Speaker 1: it it allows injustice to occur. And that's your point,
- 50:06Speaker 1: and I and I think all good people again to
- 50:09Speaker 1: your point, should agree. Everybody should be held accountable, including
- 50:13Speaker 1: the system and those who act within the system with
- 50:16Speaker 1: the authority given to them by us, meaning all the people, right, exactly, Well,
- 50:23Speaker 1: Madame President. Well then I slip up and say, Madam President, Hey,
- 50:31Speaker 1: but she called me its vice President. My bad, probably
- 50:35Speaker 1: just a hope, you know, but it is, Madame Vice President,
- 50:39Speaker 1: Thank you so much for joining us this morning. Thank
- 50:41Speaker 1: you for taking out the time to stop buying visitors
- 50:44Speaker 1: here on the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Are were huge
- 50:47Speaker 1: fans of yours, We always have been. We push people
- 50:50Speaker 1: to the polls on this show. Yes, we are directly
- 50:53Speaker 1: responsible for assofts and warn up and we got him
- 50:58Speaker 1: again over Herschel. We wasn't gonna let that happen. Now,
- 51:01Speaker 1: you stay out this conversation, but we wasn't about to
- 51:04Speaker 1: let herschel walk out happen. We let a lot of
- 51:06Speaker 1: stuff happen. What you're not fit to do is putting
- 51:09Speaker 1: him what you see, you don't play politics with us
- 51:12Speaker 1: down here. And I did a study it that was
- 51:15Speaker 1: a study of in the reelection, the runoff election, the
- 51:19Speaker 1: percentage of people that went back to the polls. Native
- 51:21Speaker 1: Americans was the same amount, Asians were the same amount.
- 51:25Speaker 1: Latinos had a slight point two percent drop off. White's
- 51:29Speaker 1: dropped off going back to the polls almost a whole
- 51:33Speaker 1: percentage point to a point and a half. Blacks went
- 51:37Speaker 1: from the polls from twenty seven percent to thirty one
- 51:41Speaker 1: percent of the pot because we went to the polls
- 51:43Speaker 1: because we're not having that. Not Herschel. Now, you do
- 51:47Speaker 1: a lot of stuff to us, you're not fit to do.
- 51:50Speaker 1: We get it. All these ignorant stories he telling on
- 51:53Speaker 1: stuff like this here she's not talking. This is me
- 51:56Speaker 1: called Steve hu the President of sitting there being very
- 52:00Speaker 1: polished and professional. But let me have it. We're so
- 52:05Speaker 1: glad to get Herschel out of here. Okay, just I mean,
- 52:13Speaker 1: put no ignorant person. He was ignort You didn't think
- 52:17Speaker 1: he was ignorant? Surely, I'm asking you, my cohot you
- 52:20Speaker 1: didn't think Herschel was a little bit ignorant? I'm glad
- 52:22Speaker 1: that we have Senator Raphael Warnock in office right now,
- 52:26Speaker 1: Thank you very much. Glad we do, because if we didn't,
- 52:29Speaker 1: we'd have his ignorant ass up here right now. The
- 52:32Speaker 1: two bull was standing at this fence jumping cross to
- 52:35Speaker 1: walk ahead. One of the bulls fail in the car
- 52:37Speaker 1: hit him and I don't know what happened. Oh look
- 52:40Speaker 1: at the time. The Vice president has to go better.
- 52:44Speaker 1: Vice President, you are a complete joy and honor. It's
- 52:48Speaker 1: a pleasure to have known you, to know you. It's
- 52:50Speaker 1: a pleasure to watch you serve as a forty ninth
- 52:53Speaker 1: vice president. Insna, you mean a lot to so many people. Uh,
- 52:58Speaker 1: this this vice presidency is it's huge, huge for so
- 53:02Speaker 1: many people. And the fact that you realize that and
- 53:05Speaker 1: recognized that a special too. So thank you so much.
- 53:07Speaker 1: Thank you, Steve, absolutely, thank you exude warmth, elegance, grace,
- 53:13Speaker 1: power for black women everywhere and for women everywhere. We
- 53:16Speaker 1: love you and I know you know that, and thank
- 53:18Speaker 1: you for being such a wonderful representation. Thank you. You're welcome.

- 53:52Speaker 1: you never know, this letter could be yours. It could
- 53:56Speaker 1: be yours. Buckle up, hold on type We got it
- 53:58Speaker 1: for you here it is. Thank you enough for your subject.
- 54:02Speaker 1: I'm here for a good time, not a long time.
- 54:06Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm dating a man that drops by
- 54:09Speaker 1: my house to eat, wash his clothes, and get the cookie.
- 54:13Speaker 1: He is a car salesman, so he works crazy hours,
- 54:16Speaker 1: which is why I allow him to dash in and
- 54:19Speaker 1: out all of the time. But lately he's been getting
- 54:22Speaker 1: more and more disrespectful, and by the time I roll over,
- 54:26Speaker 1: he's already dressed and headed out the door. He tells
- 54:29Speaker 1: me all the time that he's here for a good time,
- 54:31Speaker 1: not a long time. I don't want him quoting a
- 54:34Speaker 1: Drake song when I'm trying to talk to him about
- 54:37Speaker 1: important things that are going on in my life. I
- 54:39Speaker 1: can barely talk to him on the phone during the
- 54:41Speaker 1: day because he says his phone has to stay open
- 54:44Speaker 1: for business and his customers. I've been down to his
- 54:48Speaker 1: car lot and I don't see how he's that busy
- 54:51Speaker 1: all the time. When he comes over in the evening,
- 54:53Speaker 1: he is zoned out watching sports highlights or listening to
- 54:56Speaker 1: podcasts on finance or music. He says he's trying to
- 55:00Speaker 1: better himself, so that is what he's focused on when
- 55:03Speaker 1: he has down time. But when it's time for the cookie,
- 55:07Speaker 1: he's very attentive. Then he goes back to the den
- 55:10Speaker 1: to get back to his laptop. If he tells me
- 55:13Speaker 1: one more time that he's here for a good time,
- 55:15Speaker 1: not a long time, I'm cursing him out. I love
- 55:18Speaker 1: him and I want to be with him, but he's
- 55:20Speaker 1: acting like we're an old married couple. What happened to
- 55:24Speaker 1: us going out on dates and a little pregame before
- 55:26Speaker 1: the main event in the bed. I have a male
- 55:29Speaker 1: friend that I've been venting to and he said, I
- 55:32Speaker 1: deserve a man that is in it to me, that
- 55:36Speaker 1: is into me more than a good time. Okay, this
- 55:39Speaker 1: guy asked me to go out with him several times,
- 55:42Speaker 1: and I'm so starved for attention that I'm considering it.
- 55:45Speaker 1: Should I see if this guy can do better than
- 55:48Speaker 1: my man? Well, of course you should please go out
- 55:52Speaker 1: with this guy and go out with him today. This
- 55:55Speaker 1: other guy that you call your man, it's not your man.
- 55:59Speaker 1: This letter is not even about what he is to you.
- 56:01Speaker 1: It's about what you are to him, and you're nothing
- 56:04Speaker 1: to him. Look at the way he treats you. You're
- 56:07Speaker 1: the sidepiece, you're the jump off. You're the pit stop,
- 56:10Speaker 1: to wash his clothes, to watch the game, to listen
- 56:13Speaker 1: to podcasts. I could go on and on, but you
- 56:15Speaker 1: get the picture. I hope you have allowed this man
- 56:18Speaker 1: to treat you like trash. And he even told you,
- 56:20Speaker 1: in no uncertain terms what he's about. He's about a
- 56:23Speaker 1: good time, not a long time. That means he's not
- 56:25Speaker 1: trying to be your man. He does not want to
- 56:28Speaker 1: be your man, and all he wants is what you
- 56:30Speaker 1: give him, freely and easily, whenever he wants it. Please
- 56:34Speaker 1: stop that there's no love here. There's no love and
- 56:38Speaker 1: there never will be. I need you to wake up
- 56:40Speaker 1: and see him for what he really is, for who
- 56:43Speaker 1: he really is. Then maybe you can see yourself and
- 56:46Speaker 1: realize that it is not what you want or need.
- 56:49Speaker 1: Love and value yourself. It's all I can tell you
- 56:52Speaker 1: at this point, Steve Shirley Strawberry agree in love everything
- 56:59Speaker 1: you said, no problems. Whenever I have a problem with
- 57:04Speaker 1: her letter, I will say it up front, because I
- 57:06Speaker 1: know mine will be so different. I can't say nothing
- 57:09Speaker 1: about this one. She gave you spot on the information.
- 57:12Speaker 1: She was right about it. I don't know what you're
- 57:15Speaker 1: thinking about. I don't know what's wrong with the title
- 57:19Speaker 1: of the letter. Is I'm here for a good time,
- 57:22Speaker 1: not alone time. I didn't know you could tell a
- 57:25Speaker 1: person like I didn't know you could tell that to
- 57:28Speaker 1: a person and getting them to accept it. I didn't.
- 57:33Speaker 1: I didn't. I didn't know that. I've never really and
- 57:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna be honest with you, I've never really dated
- 57:39Speaker 1: a person who I could say that too and they
- 57:43Speaker 1: would accept it. Now, that might have been your intentions,
- 57:48Speaker 1: but that you ain't gonna get nowhere with that line.
- 57:51Speaker 1: I'm dating a man that drops by my house to eat,
- 57:56Speaker 1: wash his clothes, and get the cook. Excuse me? You
- 58:00Speaker 1: let a man come by your house to eat, wash
- 58:05Speaker 1: his clothes, and get the cook. You unlocked the door,
- 58:09Speaker 1: you open it and you let him in to do that.
- 58:13Speaker 1: Here's a car salesman, so he works crazy hours, which
- 58:16Speaker 1: is why I allow him to dash in and out
- 58:19Speaker 1: all the time. What he sells car? What crazy ass
- 58:26Speaker 1: hours he got? What? What call lot is open all
- 58:33Speaker 1: damn night long? What callt is open early end of
- 58:37Speaker 1: damn morning? What carts? The call lots closed? Service departments closed?
- 58:43Speaker 1: Seeing the Marvel five? The damn credit department closed? After
- 58:49Speaker 1: certain you can't get your credit checked? After what are
- 58:52Speaker 1: you talking about? He sells cars, so he worked all
- 58:57Speaker 1: types of crazy hours, which is why I allow him
- 59:00Speaker 1: to dash in and out. Hard is it to sell
- 59:05Speaker 1: a damn car? Now? I'm not dismissing car salesman's Please
- 59:10Speaker 1: don't get me wrong, because that's not what I'm doing.
- 59:12Speaker 1: But I'm talking about this dude right here that convinced
- 59:16Speaker 1: you that because he sells cause damn cause on some
- 59:21Speaker 1: little bit ass lot somewhere. But lately he's been getting
- 59:26Speaker 1: more and more distrestruckling. By the time I roll over,
- 59:29Speaker 1: he's already dressed and headed out the door. He tells
- 59:32Speaker 1: me all the time, he's here for a good time,
- 59:35Speaker 1: not a long time. Where is a surprise at. By
- 59:41Speaker 1: the time I rolled over, he's already dressed and headed
- 59:46Speaker 1: out the door, and he tells me all the time
- 59:51Speaker 1: he's here for a good time, not a long time.
- 59:55Speaker 1: The hell are you righting us? For? You ain't? You
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: can't here? I rolled over? What you're doing? I'm here
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: for a good time, not a long time. Hang on, stick,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: I don't want him quoting Drake Songs. I didn't even
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: know that. Hang on. We'll have part two of your
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry letter subjects is I'm here for a good time,
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: not a long time. We'll get back into it right
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: after this. You're listening morning show? All right, Steve, come on,
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is I'm here
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: for a good time, not a long time. This woman
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: right here telling about she dating the man that drops
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: about her house to eat, wash his clothes, and get
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: the cookie. Like I said, you let him in the house,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: you unlock the door. He is a car sealman, so
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: he works crazy hours, which why I allow him to
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: dash in and out all the time? What what crazy hour?
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: What crazy hours? To cast salesman head he's selling we
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: he's selling cars. To do this, say a we got
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: trap house. There's some crazy ass hour. The car salesman
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: don't have crazy hour. He's sail car. The service department closes.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: You almost can't even go to a car dealership at dog.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: You can't test drive when it's dog, none of that.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: They don't run you created at a certain hour. Lady,
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: What what's wrong with you? You're just letting this man
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: tell you anything. And by the time I roll over,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: he's already dressed and headed out the door. The name
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: of the letter is I'm here for a good time,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: not a long time. But he tells you all the
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: time he's not here for a good time. He's he's
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: here for it that he's here for a good time,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: not a long time. I don't want him. Quote the
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: Drake song when I try to talk to him about
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: an important thing. Now with gentlemen, the commercial break, I
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: found out the saying the Drake song, this is a
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: big Sean song. Look at you on the damn song
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: there's a Big Sean rap. You didn't get your down
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: hip hop. That's your problem. You don't know your hip
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: hop because you just getting hopped all over. They just
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: hopping all over your head because you don't know your
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: damn hip hop. You know you need to go away
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: and get yourself put on. You don't know nothing. Dumb
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: man told he sailed cars. He got crazy as hours,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: like he got a crack house or something. He sailed cars. Doctor.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: I can barely talk to him on the phone during
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: the day because he says his phone has to stay
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: open for business and his customer. His phone don't have
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: call waiting. He can't click over though, he can't click over,
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: He can't click on. What kind of phone he got? Who?
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: Who does he have? My mama's own phone with the
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: rotary on? Andy. I've been down to his car lot
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: now see how he's that busy all the time? Who
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: busy at a call out all the damn time? They
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: just in't here. They can't keep a car. Oh god,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: they just lined up. You haven't seen a line at
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: the car dealership. Line after mornay, after dope, they after dope,
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: they try morny, try to get the tougher goodness. When
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: he comes over in the evening, he zoned out watching
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: sports highlights and listening to podcast or on financial music.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: He says, he's trying to better himself. That's what he's
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: focused on when he has this downtime. Oh so he
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: trying to better himself. But you ain't. He over your
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: house watching TV and listening to podcasts because you let him.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: But when it's time for the cookies, very tenant, you
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: know what, how is she gonna get it? A man
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: make time for what he wants. All that he don't want,
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: he don't make time. Man make time for what he wants.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: He make time for what he wants. All that he
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: don't want, he don't make time for. It's true. I
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: don't know. I don't know how I'll tell you this
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: about unten Then he goes back to the then get
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: back to the laptop. He tells me, if he tells
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: me one more time, he's here for a good time,
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: not a long time. I'm cussing your mouth, okay, cool?
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: And then you think that's gonna hurt him. Times I've
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: been cussed out later. That's how I got many many
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: about probably about in my life at sixty six years. Well,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: do the master, Huh, that's a lot of custle. That's
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: about about nine hundred and fifteen times. I'm getting close
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: to a dollar. I probably hit the thousand by the
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: time I'm seventy bron think he breaking records. He ought
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: to see I got one broding or from me and
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: asked me how many people I've cussed back out number?
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: That's nine thousand. I'm getting up on ten thousand. I'll
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: be a ten thousand fold each year ago out. I
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: love him and I want to be with him. Problem is, lady,
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: he don't love you, and you want to be with him,
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: but he don't want to be with you. But he's
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: acting like we're an old married couple. What happened does
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: going out on dates and a little pre pre game
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: before the main event? He ain't never did that? What
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: you mean, what happened to it? That's in another relationship
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: with another man and another woman all time. He has
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: told you he here for a good time, not a
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: long time. If he ain't for a long time, why
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: would he invest time? What's wrong with you? I have
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: a male friend that I've been fitting to and he said,
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: you deserve a man that's in it for me and
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: more than a good time. This guy asked me to
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: go out with him several times, and I'm so starved
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: for attention, and I'm so starved for attention. I'm at considering.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: I'm surprised you ain't with all right? Should I see
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: if this guy can do better than my man? He's
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: not your man. Surely told you that he ain't your man.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: You're gonna mess up with him too. You're the pitch stop,
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: but you ain't gonna get a real dude a chance
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: because you're gonna keep letting old pitch stops sway through.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: All right, Steve, post your comments on today's Better Nass
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: Car Drive. Steve Harvey f them on Instagram and Facebook.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Check out the podcast. Man coming up at forty six
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: minutes after the hour. We got Junior in Sports Talk
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: Junior is here with Sports Talk. Junior, what you guy? Well?
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: Day later, still talking about it. Uncle. We can't get
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: your we can't get your way in on it. But
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: Lebron James all time NBA leading score man three thirty
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: eight four, three hundred and ninety points and count him
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: man story career man twenty years, thirty eight years old
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: and broke the record from Kareem indul Jabbar. Where was
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: you at when when you when you saw this record
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: being broke ol Lebron. Yeah, all sitting at my house.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: I just got off the train in myse. I saw that.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: I watched the State of the Union address same night.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: But see, man, I've been around for a long time. Man,
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: I saw Will Chamberlain play. I watched when the big
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: matchup was Chamberlain and Jabbar every time I've watched. The
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: only person I've ever seen blocked the sky hook was
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Will Chamberlin. I saw it. I saw Kareem go to
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: UCLA when he was when he was lu Al Sender
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: and they banned dunking in college basketball because he kept dunkers.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: So they've always tried to make this game convince. So
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: I watched all of that. I mean, I'm from that era,
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: So I've watched the greatest basketball player play the game.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: I've watched h Jordan's entire career. And what makes it
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: so hard for people that's born in that lived in
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: those dross We saw Michael Jordan. A lot of these
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: kids that talking to who the greatest is? Lebron and
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: Kobe and Steph and all this because y'all didn't see it.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: You were you weren't there. You didn't see. You didn't
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: see how the game was played. All these three pointers,
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: anybody doing that. We had two point shots, man, and
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: you had to come play. We hand checking everything, and
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: we had six files and we use it wasn't no
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: flagrant five. You came down in that paint. Man. We
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: stopped all this holio because you didn't want to because
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: your career. I saw, look, look, I saw Michael Jordan
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: revolutionized basketball and turn it into a global sport. And
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: I've watched Lebron James from the beginning all the way
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: up to now. Now. The thing about Lebron is he
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: could have played in the era Michael Jordan, he still
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: would have been great. The thing about Jordan is if
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: he'd have played in this day in time, old Lord,
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: old Lord, Old Lord, what we talk incredible and Kareem
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: would have just flatted because he had an unstoppable shot.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: The greatest. The debate is still open of who the
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: greatest basketball player of all time is. My announcement is
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: coming up one day this week, one day this week,
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: well maybe later on maybe clothes and remarks. I don't
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: know why, coming soon, all right, Thank you, Steve, thank you, Junior.
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, some social
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: media advice people need your help. Steve will come back
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: this one requests this guy needs your advice on Facebook.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: His name is Desmond. He says, what's with all the
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: pressure to date someone and be in a relationship. I'm
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: twenty six, just out of college and working my button
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: to make something of myself. That's literally all I care about. Still,
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: everyone from my family to my friends or instantly on
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: me about who I'm dating, why I'm not dating, and
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: what's wrong with me. It's really starting to get on
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: my nerves. I'm just hustling, working hard and trying to
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: stack paper. What's with the stigma that goes with having
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: no interest in the dating scene? Right now? I have friends,
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: but nothing serious. I'm sure I will get to that
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: point eventually and find the right woman for me, But
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: right now I want to work and build myself professionally.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: Why is that so hard for people to grasp, understand
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: and accept. Well, listen, man, you took a long time
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: to explain this. On the way you wrote this, you
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: typed it all up. It's eloquence. You articulate and all
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: like this. Let's me and you and Uncle Steve. You
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: have a real moment right there. You just don't want
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: to commit, that's all it is. That ain't nothing wrong
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: with that, And you don't have to. You're twenty six
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: years old. You don't want to commit. You don't have to.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: But what you're really talking about is not a relationship.
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: You're talking about a commitment because you got some friends.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: Like you said, I have friends, but nothing serious. So
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: I mean, you're sleeping with a you women, but it
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: ain't but you you know that it ain't going away.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: That's why you want to live, and that's what you're doing.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: That's the real deal. You're twenty six year you're not
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: you're not living your life sexless. Let's let's let's let's
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: let's blow this out the window for anybody that's listening
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: to it's thinking, this is what this young man said.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: You just don't want to commit to nobody at this point,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: and it ain't nothing wrong with that. And you ship
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: and going to live your life and do what you're
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: gonna do. Man, get it all out your system, or
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: else it will never get out. And let me tell
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: you something else, Man, get your hustling, your grind on.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: What I wish more people would understand how serious it
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: is to work as hard as you can early in
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: your life while you have the stamina, the strength, and
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: the youth on your side, because what ends up happening
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: in many of us so time we wait late in
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: the game to get our hustling grind on. And now
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: and now we're we're in that trap being old having
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: to hustling grind. You know, I'm kind of guilty of
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: that myself because I was hustling grinding as a young man,
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: but i I didn't. But your switch hadn't clip. I
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: wish it had him, but I just didn't. I was trying.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: I was hustling grinding in my twenties, especially after that,
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: but was nothing clicking. So go on and get your
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: hustle on, man. But for those of you just listening,
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: you know, he ain't talking about not seeing nobody. He
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: just said I got some friend he see. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: So don't feel sorry for him. And no, man, you
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: ain't got explained. They're just going to keep grinding the hustle. Okay,
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: all right, great advice to dead Desmond Steve. All Right,
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: we have time for one more listens Tammy. Also I'm
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: from Facebook, she says. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, my co
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: workers go to the restaurant across the street from our office.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: They always have a couple of drinks while there, and
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: I know when i'm when i've done this with them,
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: I've come back to the office buzzed. I enjoy eating
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: with them, but getting drunk at lunch doesn't help me
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: get my job done in the afternoon, and I'm pretty
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: sure it isn't helping them either. The last two weeks,
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: I've gone but haven't had anything to drink, And now
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: I feel like they're treating me differently. Should I just
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: go and not worry about being a little buzzed at work,
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: or go and not drink, or should I just stop
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: going all together? Why don't you? Why don't you do
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: us best for you? See, that's a followed the group's stuff.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: It don't make no sense. You're gonna lose your job
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: right if you ain't feeling right about it. You ain't
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: feeling good about it, and you know it. It's hindering
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: your ability to perform on what's really important, the usage
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: of your time. So if you're spending eight hours a
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: day on the job. That's a third of your life, right,
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: you want to at least get compensated for that. Now
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: you're over here getting drunk, and now you lose your job,
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: and now you getting compensated for that one hour that
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: you went across the street on Tuesday and Thursday. And
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: why is it so important to you to be loved
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: and accepted by your peers when your whole goal should
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: be the better yourself. I don't understand this, man. There's
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: so many people caught up in this trap. And it
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: ain't just drinking. It's everything. You can go right on
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: in the hard drug. When they start in cocaine at
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: the party, you feel like you got to be in
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: that too. You ain't got to. How are you say?
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: Damn your job? All right? Coming up at twenty minutes
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: after the hour, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: Morning Show. Right after this. You're listening to the Steven Show.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: So picture this Tom Brady an underwear model. Well it
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: doesn't seem I'm I know, I know, I know. What
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: what do you mean? You're not picturing it? Okay, But
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: the recently retired quarterback slash legend did strip down to
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: his undies on social media recently, where it is he
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: was settling a bet he made back in June of
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: last year. Did I do it right? Ask Brady on Twitter?
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: Tom is promoting his Brady Brand clothing line. Brady originally
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: post a challenge to hands if a Brady Brand post
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: uh featuring male model in underwear got forty thousand like,
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: then he would recreate the photo. It did and months
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: later Brady kept his word. Meanwhile, the seven time Super
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: Bowl champ has confirmed he'll next turn to broadcasting for
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: Fox Sports. Okay, so he has retired officially. Okay, guys, Brady,
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: that's what I'm thinking about. Yeah, I was wondering that
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: I got posing. I'm just gonna gonna be a Draws
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: reinvent you. I'm done everything else. Somebody were gonna try
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: and be a Draws model. You know, I'm gonna be
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: sitting up. I'm gonna be just sitting back with the
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: Draws on. But I'm gonna be on a count. But
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: I'm gonna sit back with my foot up. But I'm
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: gonna be drinking a milkshake, eating a sandwich, doing a
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: lie man. All right, guys, coming up in thirty three
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we'll play another round. If would
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: you rather right after this you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: It is time now for a round. I would you rather?

- 1:16:20Speaker 1: Which one? I'm good? I'm gonna know what you want?
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: How you want that half wolf? You're so serious though,
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: that's wouldn't come down? Yeah, that's really you kicked the
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: bullet you want to get shot with? Oh goodness? Really, Junior?
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: Which one? Dominoes? A space rain? Oh my god? What
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: what y'all got me? Y'all got me reminiscing? Man? Man,
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: you got me wanting to throw domino space turned with
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: this boy used to throw that thing that was let's
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: bring it right? Yeah? Uh, it brought him out. We
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: did La and Dallas. That was something. Uh huh. All right,
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: here's one. Would you rather be an okay looking person
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: but very funny? Oh okay? Or would you be very
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: very funny and interesting? Or would you rather be like
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: super hot? I mean just fine but very boring? Well?
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: The first one we all that you look you just okay?
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: Have to answer this question? Really is top? Yeah? Which
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: one time? I'm already, so I'm not see it's complicated
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: because I'm not boring, but I'm but I'm fine, and
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: I don't know how to I don't know how to
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: answer this well, I can't. Why can't it looking at
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: me like that? Though? You don't know why he looking
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: at you like that? Because because you've been made to you,
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: you made a false statement, you said I'm fine. Yeah,
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: he fed it out of his mouth, he did. Hold on,
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: hold hold the hole. I know how to get right now,
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: I know how to fix it. Right hey, dog, dog dog,
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: right now, you ain't never done it. Take herself down,
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: take herself and right now not turn that camera back
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: around and look at it and keep your mouth up
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: next to the mic so we can hear right here. Okay, okay, okay,
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: because this is how to go took it. He's looking
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: looking at different poses of different angles. Okay, now you
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: ain't because it's gonna be real subtle. This is him
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: looking at his own self. It's really some one last self,
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: don't you that's driving. This is Tommy looking at himself
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: on himself. I'm not gonna be ugly. He's junior looking
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: at tommy self. And this is me looking at the self,
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: told you that's today's rounded. Would you rather coming up
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: at forty nine minutes after the hour, it's our last
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: break of the day, and we'll get some closing remarks
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: from the one and only Steve Harvey right after this.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: You're listening stry Morning show. Here we are, guys, our
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: last break of the day on this Thursday. First and foremost,
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: we want to say many, many thanks to our Vice
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: President Kamala Harris for stopping by. Great interviews, Steve, great interview.
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: Let me say nothing, man, I ain't good to say hello. No, no, no, no, alright,
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: sorry involved So you're nothing to do this to me?
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: You no, you handled it, Steve. Yes, I've interviewed I've
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: interviewed President Obama before from a talk show. I've interviewed
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: the Vice President Kamala Harris, I've interviewed U. Surely remember
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: we interviewed President Bill Clinton. Yes, I do absolutely in
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: Los Angeles. YEA interviewed talk to President Biden. Let me nothing.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: So we've done some major things in our career in life,
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: and all those have been without Tony. Yeah. Yeah, that's
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: that's a pattern for him. It because you were there
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: for him. But what we try to do is not
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: exposed people to the level of what you do because
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: we just don't know. We can't. We can't, dude, we can't.
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: We can't run the risk of not being asked back.
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: So if it was Trump, y'all, let me talk to him.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: It's all right. If it was him. Huh, Hey, is
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: this is this? Is this? Yeah? Is this closing remarks? Yes,
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: let me tell you, Let me take over, man, me
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: let me do something that I don't even know how
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: I'm on end this thing, but we've been This is
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: just a real lighthearted closing remarks. This is about the
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: accomplishment of Lebron James. I was trying to explain earlier
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: how I felt about Lebron James, the whole thing that
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: everybody's trying to figure out who's the greatest basketball player
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: of all time. I've been fortunate that I've lived in
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: the era of everybody that they're discussing, because I remember
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: living in the area era of oh Kareem ab Dude Jabbar.
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: I remember when he got drafted out of UCLA. I
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: remember when he played for the mid Wwaukee Bucks. I
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: remember when he went to LA I remember the only
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: person that I've ever seen block the sky hook was
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: Wilt Chamberlain. I saw it. I saw Kareem's first basket,
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: I saw his last basket. I've watched Michael Jordan's entire career.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: I saw him drafted out of North Carolina. I've watched
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: his entire career. I watched the Portland Trail Blazer's pass
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: up on Michael Jordan and pick Sam Booie. I saw it.
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: I saw it. I've watched his entire career. I watched
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: everything Jordan did, and I watched Michael Jordan revolutionized a
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: game of basketball and turn it into a global sport.
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: That jump symbol is on every wall around this world somewhere.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: Michael Jordan was not born to be a politician. He
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: was not born to be a person that served all
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: of mankind doing his prime. He was born to take
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: basketball to a global level. All of us have different
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: missions in life. So I hit the comparison all the
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: time because I've seen Lebron's entire career. I remember when
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: he got drafted out of the high school up there
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: in Akron. I'm from Cleveland. I went to college at
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: Kent State right next door to Akron. I know the area, well,
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: everywhere he played, everywhere he was. I watched his entire career.
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: This dude right here has been something special right out
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: of high school and he's been in special. He's been
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: special for nineteen years now. What I saw Jordan do
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: was incredible. What I've seen Jordan, what I've seen Lebron
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: do is incredible as well. Jordan played in a different era.
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: But the one thing about Lebron, if he played back
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: in the era that Jordan played in, he'd still been
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: a star. But if Michael Jordan had played in today's game,
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: oh lord, I don't even know what to tell you.
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: I can't count the championships he'd have. I can't tell
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: you the MVP he's because he would be more than
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: he had. But we can't competitors because we're looking at
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: apples and oranges. Man, the times it's gone. And now
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: a lot of people today because they weren't around, they
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: don't know how to argue this. But I do because
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: I was there for all three of them, Kareem, Jordan,
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: and Lebron. I've seen Kobe's entire career at the Killer
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: in that boy was outstanding, and I understand the new
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: people that only saw Kobe. How he's in the argument
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: as one of the greatest basketball players. I understand him
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: being in the argument. But somehow, I know for a fact,
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: if you didn't see it with your own eyes, Yeah, somehow,
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: this footage just ain't telling the whole truth for you.
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: So who we are now? A couple of days after
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: Lebron and broke the scoring record of the greatest basketball
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: player that was held for almost forty years, he broke
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: the record of Kareem i' duj ba. He broke it
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: though in one hundred and fifty games less than Kareem.
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: That's crazy. I can no longer ignore what I've been
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: watching with my own eyes because my eyes have seen
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: them all. And I'm telling you right now that King
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: Lebron James's King Lebron James. He's a bad man. I
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: can no longer ignore what I've seen, but in my heart,
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: because I am who I am, and I'm true to
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: the culture that you all never saw. I saw the
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: culture that created this culture. I saw R and B
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: before that was IRP Hop, Michael Jordan and Lebron James
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: will go down in history as the greatest basketball players
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: of all time. But the misleading mistake that's ever been made.
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: Was the greatest player I've ever seen was Kareem Upduba.
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: Oh wow, wow, wow wow. I didn't know what's going
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: that way. Those are my clothes remarks, I don't care
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: how you feel. Steve Harden Monishow talk to God. He
