- 1:59Speaker 1: You'll think, uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice, come on dig me now.
- 2:09Speaker 2: One and only Steve Harley got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 1: I was talking with my wife and she said something
- 2:14Speaker 1: her father always used to tell her, just because you
- 2:17Speaker 1: can do something don't mean you should do it. I
- 2:20Speaker 1: can't tell you how many times I've had to learn
- 2:23Speaker 1: that in my life. You know, just because you can
- 2:25Speaker 1: do something does not necessarily mean you should do it.
- 2:30Speaker 1: I could tell people off oftentimes, but it don't mean
- 2:34Speaker 1: I should do it. I could go here and set
- 2:37Speaker 1: the record straight a lot of times, but it don't
- 2:40Speaker 1: mean I should do it. Well, I've learned a lot
- 2:44Speaker 1: in that lesson, folks, And because I have a relationship
- 2:50Speaker 1: with my creator, what it's done is it's allowed me
- 2:54Speaker 1: to learn even more how to stay still on a
- 2:57Speaker 1: lot of issues. That's troubling me. I've learned it the
- 3:01Speaker 1: hard way. I do want you to understand that that
- 3:03Speaker 1: sometimes it's better to be still. Sometimes it's better to
- 3:07Speaker 1: just let God handle the situation now. And I know
- 3:09Speaker 1: it's hard to say because we think as people, but
- 3:12Speaker 1: if I do this, I would feel better.
- 3:16Speaker 2: If I do this now, they'll feel how I feel. See.
- 3:20Speaker 2: But that's not always the best way though. I found
- 3:23Speaker 2: in my life.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Sometimes you gotta like old people used to say, you
- 3:26Speaker 1: gotta let go and let God. I'm gonna tell you something, man,
- 3:30Speaker 1: I learned a lot from my mother being a Sunday
- 3:32Speaker 1: school teacher. But you know, at the same time, when
- 3:34Speaker 1: she was when I was young, I thought she was
- 3:36Speaker 1: just an old person just talking to me. I didn't
- 3:38Speaker 1: get it. You know how your parents used to talk
- 3:40Speaker 1: to you and you didn't get it, and they used
- 3:43Speaker 1: to always say, well, wait till you have your own kids,
- 3:45Speaker 1: you will get it then, And sure enough you got
- 3:47Speaker 1: it then. Well I'm the same way. I'm no different
- 3:49Speaker 1: you know. I don't have no different life than you.
- 3:51Speaker 1: You know, I don't have no different upbringing in you.
- 3:53Speaker 1: I don't have no different ways that I can live
- 3:56Speaker 1: and you can't. You know that I got to live
- 3:58Speaker 1: by the same laws of the land that you got
- 4:00Speaker 1: to live by. I gotta obey the principles of success.
- 4:02Speaker 1: If I want to be successful, I gotta bam. And
- 4:05Speaker 1: you know, if I want to go to heaven, I
- 4:07Speaker 1: gotta do what God tell me to do as many
- 4:09Speaker 1: times as I can. Now, you ain't gonna get it
- 4:11Speaker 1: all right, But he understand that, and I just get
- 4:14Speaker 1: on with the best I can. But so many times, man,
- 4:17Speaker 1: we get stuck right there, man, worrying about you know,
- 4:22Speaker 1: how it's gonna come across, and what I'm you know,
- 4:25Speaker 1: I'm kind of going around here because I'm trying to
- 4:28Speaker 1: find a way to tell you this that you won't
- 4:30Speaker 1: get twisted. The bottom line, you gotta let go and
- 4:33Speaker 1: let God. You have to allow him to do it
- 4:36Speaker 1: his way. See, I thought myself to a certain point,
- 4:40Speaker 1: but to go further, I had to let God have it.
- 4:43Speaker 1: I found out I wasn't all that good a driver.
- 4:45Speaker 1: I found out I wouldn't all that good of a
- 4:49Speaker 1: explore with a map. So I had to let go.
- 4:52Speaker 1: I had to let God. And you gotta understand that
- 4:54Speaker 1: God works in mysterious ways. How often had I thought
- 4:58Speaker 1: it was over for me. But what God was doing
- 5:01Speaker 1: was he was teaching me a lesson. He was showing
- 5:04Speaker 1: me something that I needed to know. He was allowing
- 5:07Speaker 1: me to experience some things. But he didn't let me
- 5:09Speaker 1: go under. You know how they say, God and never
- 5:11Speaker 1: put more on you than you can bear.
- 5:13Speaker 2: He won't let you go under you know.
- 5:15Speaker 1: It's like the scripture that Bishop Alma taught me when
- 5:18Speaker 1: I was going through that traumatic thing on the internet. Man,
- 5:20Speaker 1: it was really really man trying to destroy what I
- 5:23Speaker 1: had worked for in my family and this new life
- 5:26Speaker 1: that God had presented me. And the devil is busy.
- 5:28Speaker 1: The devil don't like to see you happy. So here
- 5:30Speaker 1: he comes. He puts you under attack, and he comes
- 5:33Speaker 1: in and that and everything, and my kids are suffering.
- 5:35Speaker 1: But you know, here comes God. Though see, God don't
- 5:39Speaker 1: put more on you than you can bear. Bishop Olma
- 5:41Speaker 1: sent me a scripture, he sent me Isaiah forty three
- 5:45Speaker 1: one and two. And in that scripture it says to
- 5:48Speaker 1: the effect that you can walk through the water the rivers,
- 5:52Speaker 1: and the water won't overcome you. But then it said
- 5:56Speaker 1: you can walk through the fire and you will not
- 5:58Speaker 1: get burned, nor will kindling set upon your clothing. I
- 6:03Speaker 1: learned something very valuable that day. See, God sent me
- 6:07Speaker 1: through something, but he was showing me something too. Now
- 6:10Speaker 1: he didn't do it. God didn't bring that calamity into
- 6:13Speaker 1: my life because in Isaiah fifty four seventeen it says
- 6:18Speaker 1: clearly that if anyone comes against you, it will not
- 6:21Speaker 1: be my doing. Now, this is what he promised you
- 6:24Speaker 1: when people come for you, though, see, and this is
- 6:26Speaker 1: what I learned. That's why I have no fear of
- 6:28Speaker 1: the people coming anymore because I learned that. But God
- 6:31Speaker 1: had to send me through a traumatic experience in order
- 6:34Speaker 1: for me to learn that. You can't have a testimony
- 6:37Speaker 1: without a test you know what I'm saying. You can't
- 6:40Speaker 1: learn nothing without a lesson. So what he did was
- 6:42Speaker 1: he allowed that internet thing come across crossed into my life.
- 6:45Speaker 1: But he taught me something. And Isaiah forty three to
- 6:48Speaker 1: one and two was and you could walk through the
- 6:50Speaker 1: fire and not get burned, nor will kindling set upon
- 6:53Speaker 1: your clothing. So what that said to me was, even
- 6:56Speaker 1: though you trying to do me and fire all around me,
- 7:00Speaker 1: I won't burn. But when it's over, kindling won't set
- 7:03Speaker 1: upon your clothing. What that showed me was not only
- 7:06Speaker 1: would I walk through the fire and not get burned,
- 7:09Speaker 1: but there will be no signs that I was ever
- 7:12Speaker 1: in the fire. There's no signs of it. But not
- 7:14Speaker 1: hold up though. Now here go the part though, that
- 7:17Speaker 1: I had to learn, even though you can walk through
- 7:20Speaker 1: the fire, y'all, and even though you're being flames and
- 7:23Speaker 1: scorching all around you, if you trust him, he ain't
- 7:25Speaker 1: gonna let you burn.
- 7:26Speaker 2: But now hear what he did not say. Though he
- 7:29Speaker 2: did not say that.
- 7:30Speaker 1: It was not going to be uncomfortably hot, wickedly hot
- 7:36Speaker 1: in there. He ain't say that. He just said you
- 7:39Speaker 1: won't burn, and when it's over, it won't be no
- 7:42Speaker 1: signs that you was in the fire. See what happened
- 7:44Speaker 1: to me was after they tried to destroy me, let
- 7:46Speaker 1: me show you what God did for me. Not only
- 7:48Speaker 1: did they not accomplish what they set out to do,
- 7:51Speaker 1: but when it was through with me, though, when they
- 7:54Speaker 1: was through throwing the gas and throwing the fire, and
- 7:56Speaker 1: throwing the hate and writing it and lining and creating
- 8:00Speaker 1: all these names for themselves so it could look like
- 8:03Speaker 1: most people is hating, when they got through it all,
- 8:05Speaker 1: that man, look what he did to me. Look what
- 8:09Speaker 1: he did, fummy, because he taught me something that day,
- 8:12Speaker 1: and I'm sharing it with you because God will do
- 8:14Speaker 1: the same thing for you. But you gotta trust him though.
- 8:18Speaker 1: You got to get in there and you got to
- 8:19Speaker 1: let him do it. You gotta let him handle it. So,
- 8:22Speaker 1: just like Pop Bridge just taught my wife Marjorie, just
- 8:25Speaker 1: because you can do something, don't mean y'all to do something.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Yeah you could go down there and straighten them out,
- 8:29Speaker 1: but should you though? Yeah, you can go down there
- 8:32Speaker 1: and tell them all. Yeah, you can go down stand
- 8:33Speaker 1: up and make sure they know it's your voice, that
- 8:36Speaker 1: they hear it, and you can get in their face
- 8:38Speaker 1: and make a scene.
- 8:39Speaker 2: But should you though, or should you let go and
- 8:43Speaker 2: let God?
- 8:44Speaker 1: So before we run all out in the streets and
- 8:46Speaker 1: somebody go out there and do something crazy, let's hold tight. Now.
- 8:49Speaker 1: I'm not saying don't go out there, but you gotta
- 8:52Speaker 1: watch you you go out there with. But you can
- 8:54Speaker 1: go down there with peace in your heart. Somebody decided
- 8:56Speaker 1: I'm gonna throw a brick through here and bust a window.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Hold up, partner, hold up, ain't what we're down here doing.
- 9:01Speaker 1: So See, sometimes man, you gotta let go and you
- 9:03Speaker 1: gotta let God. You gotta let God have situations sometimes
- 9:06Speaker 1: and you get it there and do the things that
- 9:08Speaker 1: He tell you to do. See bish Ohman and taught
- 9:11Speaker 1: me a lot. He had another book out and he said,
- 9:13Speaker 1: you know, knowing God's Voice or something like that. I'm
- 9:16Speaker 1: not sure the title, but I never really knew the
- 9:19Speaker 1: definition of how do you know it's God's voice talking
- 9:22Speaker 1: to you? Well, he clearly made a statement. God's voice
- 9:26Speaker 1: has no sin in it. Whenever you're talking about I'm
- 9:29Speaker 1: gonna go, I'm gonna show him. I'm gonna get him back.
- 9:33Speaker 1: If it's sining in it, God ain't in it. See
- 9:35Speaker 1: that's you now. God's voice has no sining in it.
- 9:39Speaker 1: So when you say God told me, be careful because God.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Ain't never told you to go do nothing wrong. That
- 9:47Speaker 2: ain't what he told you. And I learned that too.
- 9:50Speaker 1: It's a lot. So I'm just sharing today. I hope
- 9:52Speaker 1: it helps somebody today get through a difficult time because
- 9:55Speaker 1: the show has helped me.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Listening morning, ladies and gentlemen, here we go what two?

- 15:47Speaker 12: you something. To be calling me talking about you could

- 15:54Speaker 12: I'm on my way up there right to hell.

- 16:09Speaker 6: at the job for your number, man, because you know,

- 17:08Speaker 1: Look?
- 17:08Speaker 6: Look look here, man, man, why is she in all
- 17:11Speaker 6: my dreams?

- 27:29Speaker 18: Yeah, he scared her.
- 27:31Speaker 2: All he said was boot.
- 27:36Speaker 1: I think that you like. I think you've always wanted
- 27:39Speaker 1: to bust him in his head, and I think you
- 27:42Speaker 1: took advantage of this situation and imagination. Yeah, yeah, I know,
- 27:49Speaker 1: I know.

- 30:09Speaker 11: Kardashian, Mary j Cardi b with yes is ever? The
- 30:16Speaker 11: only one I wasn't crazy about was Janelle Monnette.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Oh yeah, Janelle money. But I did like times.
- 30:24Speaker 4: I liked her dress. I saw her and let's see who.
- 30:28Speaker 18: You can go on the internet and see everything you want.
- 30:32Speaker 18: That's what we saw. Okay, Yes, Yes, it was incredible.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Incredible.
- 30:40Speaker 11: In other entertainment news, this past Saturday night, the comedian
- 30:44Speaker 11: Roy Wood Junior hosted the White House Correspondence Dinner. Roy
- 30:48Speaker 11: defended Vice President Kamala Harris and talked about the double
- 30:51Speaker 11: standard of how.
- 30:52Speaker 18: She's been treated. Take a listen.
- 30:55Speaker 14: The most insulting scandal to fall to the feet of
- 31:00Speaker 14: the Biden administration was placed at the feet of by
- 31:03Speaker 14: Madam Vice President. The scandal of what does Kamala do?
- 31:10Speaker 14: Which is a disrespectful question. That's a disrespectful question because
- 31:14Speaker 14: nobody ever.
- 31:15Speaker 22: Asked that question of the Vice President until a woman
- 31:17Speaker 22: got the job. I gotta ask you, I don't know
- 31:24Speaker 22: what Mike Pence did. The only thing I know about
- 31:26Speaker 22: Mike Pence is that he's really good at playing hide
- 31:28Speaker 22: and seek.
- 31:29Speaker 23: At the Capitol. You got to be crafted to catch
- 31:35Speaker 23: Mike Pence in that capital. You know all the nips
- 31:38Speaker 23: and prandies.
- 31:42Speaker 2: Right there.
- 31:46Speaker 1: That boy, funny roy Wood is funny.
- 31:50Speaker 2: Said that you got some good franks too.
- 31:53Speaker 1: I take my hand off to him.
- 31:54Speaker 2: You got some good frank calls.
- 31:56Speaker 18: So see, what do you think about that?
- 31:57Speaker 11: Why is it that black women leaders or most always
- 32:00Speaker 11: criticize and the VP is held to a double standard.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Because it's part of the course.
- 32:10Speaker 1: It's look at Obama, look at the standard he was
- 32:14Speaker 1: held to, and now look at the standard that's required
- 32:17Speaker 1: for Donald Trump. If you went from high standards to
- 32:21Speaker 1: no standards, right, because he's a white guy and he
- 32:27Speaker 1: is everything they would want to be. He's rich, he's famous,
- 32:32Speaker 1: he's a player, he got his name on buildings, he
- 32:36Speaker 1: got a plane with his name on the side of it,
- 32:40Speaker 1: the American Dream. So now the fact that he's im moral,
- 32:46Speaker 1: the fact that he doesn't pay taxes, which is non patriotic,
- 32:52Speaker 1: the fact that he's im moral, which is non Republican,
- 32:56Speaker 1: which is because he has hookers and poorn stars while
- 33:02Speaker 1: he's married, because he could take a playboy bunny up
- 33:04Speaker 1: to his house while he's married, show her around, show
- 33:08Speaker 1: her his wife's rule.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Who do that?
- 33:11Speaker 1: Damn? And then he's still good enough to be president
- 33:14Speaker 1: of the United States for you to point at your
- 33:16Speaker 1: children and say, this is who we elected, this is
- 33:19Speaker 1: who represents our country. You don't think the rest of
- 33:21Speaker 1: the world see that. So y'all know, man, they they've
- 33:26Speaker 1: always been that way. And and and VP Harris is
- 33:31Speaker 1: being subjected to it too, because what do the vice

- 44:43Speaker 12: Yeah?
- 44:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, I know, I know. You're not supposed
- 44:46Speaker 2: to talk about it. No more calling. You're not supposed
- 44:47Speaker 2: to bring this up.
- 44:48Speaker 20: But yeah, nappy half okay, if you want me to
- 44:51Speaker 20: get a little deeper, your child got nappy half.
- 44:55Speaker 2: A lost show.
- 44:55Speaker 4: It's tired.
- 44:56Speaker 3: Mind.
- 44:56Speaker 20: What if you're gonna prank somebody going? I think kids
- 45:00Speaker 20: is the best way to do it. Nappy your child?
- 45:04Speaker 6: What?
- 45:04Speaker 15: What?
- 45:04Speaker 6: What?
- 45:05Speaker 2: Everybody ski? Don't be scared. Let's go, let's go.
- 45:08Speaker 9: Cat Hello, Hello, I'm trying to get Francis. This is
- 45:12Speaker 9: she Hey France, how you doing. My name is Darryl.
- 45:16Speaker 9: Our kids they go to our together. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 45:19Speaker 9: your daughter's Kaitlyn, right, yes, okay, my son is DJ
- 45:23Speaker 9: Dale junior. They I think I may have met you
- 45:25Speaker 9: at the beginning of the school year. You remember meeting me,
- 45:28Speaker 9: darryl oh I met.
- 45:30Speaker 13: A lot of people, but I'm sorry, I can't place
- 45:32Speaker 13: you right now.
- 45:33Speaker 9: Okay, no problem. Hey, listen, I was getting a call.
- 45:37Speaker 9: You know, there's only a handful of black kids at
- 45:40Speaker 9: the school, you know, being a private school and all.
- 45:43Speaker 9: And U we the the black parents. We all got
- 45:46Speaker 9: together and had a meeting a couple of nights ago.
- 45:48Speaker 13: Okay, you said, all the black parents.
- 45:50Speaker 6: Okay, I wasn't there.
- 45:51Speaker 13: Why wasn't I called?
- 45:52Speaker 9: Uh, Well, we actually had a meeting about your daughter, Kaitlyn.
- 45:57Speaker 13: Well what about Kayln? Is she is that problem at school?
- 46:00Speaker 13: Is she's crazy or something. I don't even know about
- 46:03Speaker 13: what's going on.
- 46:03Speaker 9: With Well, actually, when we're you know, we feel privileged
- 46:06Speaker 9: to be you know, you know, like I said, there's
- 46:08Speaker 9: only a handful of blacks, and we try to carry
- 46:10Speaker 9: ourselves in a dignified way, our presence, our attitude, the
- 46:14Speaker 9: way we handle ourselves. And you know, Kayla's doing very
- 46:18Speaker 9: good in school from what I understand, and very nice
- 46:20Speaker 9: with all the rest of the kids. He's getting along.
- 46:22Speaker 9: That's not the problem. What we're what we're trying to
- 46:24Speaker 9: get is the grooming of Kaitlin. You know, Kaylyn has
- 46:29Speaker 9: these braids, and what we were trying to do is
- 46:33Speaker 9: give you know, we had a meeting about it.
- 46:34Speaker 13: We want to hold on, hold on, hold on. Did
- 46:37Speaker 13: you just say her grooming something wrong with her grooming?
- 46:41Speaker 9: Well, it's not necessarily her clothing, of course, you know
- 46:43Speaker 9: the kids were the uniforms, but the braids. You know,
- 46:46Speaker 9: we we want to represent ourselves with a lot of dignity,
- 46:50Speaker 9: the way we carry ourselves. We want to be, you know,
- 46:53Speaker 9: pretty much nice and clean, spitting polished. We would really
- 46:56Speaker 9: prefer for her hair was straight and opposed to being
- 46:59Speaker 9: braided up, you know, the union that kind of gives
- 47:03Speaker 9: off a ghetto type of look to it, and that's
- 47:05Speaker 9: what we're trying to avoid.
- 47:07Speaker 13: Are you crazy? Is something wrong with you? You don't have?
- 47:10Speaker 13: First of all, how the hell you get my numb
- 47:12Speaker 13: If you couldn't call me for the meeting, why are
- 47:14Speaker 13: you calling me nothing?
- 47:15Speaker 9: Well, like I said, man, the meeting was to get
- 47:17Speaker 9: the general consensus on where all the parents feel in
- 47:19Speaker 9: the same way about your daughter and her braids. You know,
- 47:22Speaker 9: we're just trying to keep everything classy. When it comes
- 47:25Speaker 9: to the Blacks sat Attendant school, there's only ten of us,
- 47:28Speaker 9: you know, ten children attending.
- 47:30Speaker 13: I tell you what you can attend. What you can
- 47:33Speaker 13: attend is to is this one hanging up in your face?
- 47:36Speaker 13: You tell the parents, all of them for me. Y'all
- 47:39Speaker 13: can go straight and hit rock bottom out of hell.
- 47:42Speaker 13: Talking about my child and her braids. Her braids are ethnic,
- 47:45Speaker 13: they are nice.
- 47:46Speaker 6: She is wearing brooms.
- 47:47Speaker 13: And I don't know how in the hell you got
- 47:49Speaker 13: my telephone number. But tell all the parents for me,
- 47:52Speaker 13: the kids to crack of mine.
- 47:53Speaker 6: You know what.
- 47:54Speaker 9: Listen well, first of all, I don't like the way
- 47:56Speaker 9: that you're talking to me. Okay, I carry myself with class,
- 47:59Speaker 9: with dignity, spitting polished man.
- 48:05Speaker 13: Subject of the call.
- 48:08Speaker 9: I can just as ghetto as her hairstyle.
- 48:10Speaker 13: And let me say something real ghetto to your Okay,
- 48:13Speaker 13: you and all parents can hit rocks from out of hell.
- 48:17Speaker 13: Don't call me no more with no like this. This
- 48:20Speaker 13: is ignorant. I'm far beyond this.
- 48:23Speaker 12: My child is well groomed.
- 48:24Speaker 13: She is going to go to school. As a matter
- 48:26Speaker 13: of fact, as much money as it costs to go
- 48:28Speaker 13: there to y'all should have been meeting on how we
- 48:30Speaker 13: can get together and pay the tuition. How about that?
- 48:33Speaker 9: Are you trying to sit here and tell me that
- 48:35Speaker 9: you've got a problem taking her brains down and wearing
- 48:37Speaker 9: her hair straight so she can look a lot more
- 48:39Speaker 9: classy than what she looks right now. It's a pathetic
- 48:41Speaker 9: look that she's having right now. You know what I don't.
- 48:44Speaker 13: What's your hair look like? Take a picture of your
- 48:47Speaker 13: self and send it to me, texted to me since
- 48:48Speaker 13: you get the Folkes phone numbers, and give it to you.
- 48:51Speaker 13: Take a picture of yourself and text it to me.
- 48:53Speaker 13: I bet you you looked like who would have thought it?
- 48:55Speaker 13: My daughter's braids are gonna stay up for the rest
- 48:58Speaker 13: of the years. As a matter of fact, he ain't
- 49:00Speaker 13: gonna even rebrate it. It's gonna stay that way. So
- 49:02Speaker 13: it should be meted and represent that's what we're gonna do.
- 49:05Speaker 9: Francis, listen, I don't I don't want to argue. I
- 49:08Speaker 9: just wanted to call and see if we could actually,
- 49:10Speaker 9: you know, come to a medium on this. Do you
- 49:12Speaker 9: think that there's a possibility that I mean, when I'm
- 49:16Speaker 9: I'm picking up DJ tomorrow after school, would it would.
- 49:19Speaker 9: Would it be all right if I picked up little
- 49:22Speaker 9: Kayla and brought her home and let my wife do
- 49:24Speaker 9: our hair?
- 49:26Speaker 5: Please?
- 49:26Speaker 13: I wish he would pick my thought up and see
- 49:30Speaker 13: what the hell I do. I'm gonna call my husband
- 49:32Speaker 13: and him to come over your house and whoop your
- 49:35Speaker 13: after he breaks yo, I wish you would pick up
- 49:39Speaker 13: my dot. I'll call the police. As a matter of fact,
- 49:42Speaker 13: you're gonna have to call the police on me and
- 49:44Speaker 13: my husband Steward and see what happens.
- 49:46Speaker 1: Ma'am.
- 49:46Speaker 9: I'm just trying to get some class here. That's all
- 49:48Speaker 9: we wanted. We're not wanting to fight with you. It's
- 49:51Speaker 9: just the blacks here. We think that we want a
- 49:53Speaker 9: little bit more classy look of the way we are grown.
- 49:56Speaker 9: That's the only thing we're looking for.
- 49:58Speaker 13: Only person who's gonna be taking a class said, when
- 50:00Speaker 13: we get to what you're gonna be taking the class?
- 50:03Speaker 13: How about that? Yeah, I can't stand up like you.
- 50:08Speaker 13: Y'all get five dollars and one penny in your boxes
- 50:12Speaker 13: and think you better than everybody else. You're forgetting where
- 50:15Speaker 13: you came from. As a matter of fact, what's your guess?
- 50:17Speaker 13: What's your name? Because I'm calling the principal on your
- 50:20Speaker 13: uh day, give me your name and mister who, what's
- 50:24Speaker 13: your name?
- 50:25Speaker 6: Uh? Uh, that's that's that's that's that's not that's not.
- 50:27Speaker 9: Really what my name is.
- 50:29Speaker 13: But that's what told me when you first called me.
- 50:31Speaker 13: What is your real name?
- 50:33Speaker 6: My name is my name?
- 50:34Speaker 9: My real name is Tommy Thomas. No, no, my last
- 50:38Speaker 9: name either.
- 50:38Speaker 13: What what the hell is your name?
- 50:40Speaker 9: Do you know? My name is Tommy nephew Tommy from
- 50:43Speaker 9: the Steve Hobby Morning Show. Your husband, Keith got me
- 50:47Speaker 9: the prank phone call. Oh you'll be.
- 50:54Speaker 13: Oh my god, Keith, you got me ready to click
- 51:01Speaker 13: yo the PPS cool and I'll tell you what she
- 51:08Speaker 13: get out for the rest of the week for me, he.
- 51:14Speaker 9: Told me, he said, Man, he said, it don't take
- 51:16Speaker 9: for about two and a half minutes for my wife
- 51:19Speaker 9: to go off. He said, it don't take for two
- 51:21Speaker 9: and a half he said, I you a right, Oh
- 51:28Speaker 9: maybe calm down.
- 51:30Speaker 6: Let me ask you something.

- 51:55Speaker 1: What you wan to do?
- 51:56Speaker 3: Shut up that.
- 51:59Speaker 1: That's politically incorrect the glory?
- 52:03Speaker 6: So what am I?
- 52:04Speaker 2: What am I supposed to say? The baby hair is challenging?
- 52:07Speaker 18: What do you want saying challenging?
- 52:09Speaker 2: Anything about anybody?
- 52:11Speaker 12: Child?
- 52:11Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 52:11Speaker 9: You do that?
- 52:13Speaker 2: The baby got bad?
- 52:14Speaker 20: Heir?
- 52:14Speaker 2: What am I supposed to say that?
- 52:16Speaker 3: Oh?
- 52:16Speaker 1: My god?
- 52:17Speaker 3: Bad?
- 52:19Speaker 20: Okay, okay, okay, let me fix it. Okay, work with me,
- 52:22Speaker 20: I'm working for okay, boy, the baby tender head?
- 52:29Speaker 2: What is that? That whole baby did that whole and
- 52:33Speaker 2: crawl in?
- 52:34Speaker 20: Okay, okay, okay, okay. Here, we need to grease the
- 52:37Speaker 20: baby scalp. No, we can't have no dry scalps. Now
- 52:43Speaker 20: I know that, ain't I know that?
- 52:45Speaker 4: Why is that your concerns?
- 52:46Speaker 2: Oh my goodness, this is this is this is just,
- 52:52Speaker 2: this is bad.
- 52:53Speaker 18: This is mad.
- 52:54Speaker 1: You went too far, Tommy.
- 52:55Speaker 2: We need a hot cold. I'm pressing far you keep

- 53:43Speaker 2: you here. It is the Strawberry Letter.
- 53:46Speaker 18: Thank you, nephew.
- 53:47Speaker 11: Subject rainy Day Romance is in the rover. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 53:51Speaker 11: I'm a forty two year old married woman in need
- 53:53Speaker 11: of advice because I got caught having a rainy day
- 53:56Speaker 11: romance in the back of a Range Rover with my
- 53:59Speaker 11: co that happens to be one of my husband's friends.
- 54:04Speaker 11: I thought we were all cool, but I recently found
- 54:07Speaker 11: out that my husband had put a tracking device in
- 54:10Speaker 11: my purse.
- 54:11Speaker 18: I'll take you back to the beginning.
- 54:13Speaker 11: My car has not been serviced in years because it's
- 54:15Speaker 11: an import and the tune up is very expensive. I
- 54:19Speaker 11: also need two new tires, and they're expensive too. My
- 54:23Speaker 11: husband put my car in the shop numerous times, but
- 54:27Speaker 11: he hasn't been able to put new tires on it.
- 54:29Speaker 11: It's been raining a lot lately, so my coworker and
- 54:32Speaker 11: my husband agreed that I don't need to be out
- 54:34Speaker 11: on the road slipping a sliding. My coworker told me
- 54:37Speaker 11: he'd give me a ride to work on rainy days.
- 54:40Speaker 11: The first day he picked me up, he said he
- 54:42Speaker 11: was very excited to finally be alone with me. That
- 54:46Speaker 11: was like music to my ears because we've always had
- 54:49Speaker 11: weird sexual tension between us at work. By the third
- 54:52Speaker 11: rainy day that week, he and I were laid up
- 54:55Speaker 11: on the back seat of his range Rover, smoking weed
- 54:58Speaker 11: and pleasuring each other over and over again. We got
- 55:01Speaker 11: freaky in the back of his rover four separate times,
- 55:04Speaker 11: and then my husband caught us. I had my phone
- 55:08Speaker 11: turned off and I planned to tell my husband it died.
- 55:12Speaker 11: I almost died when my husband showed up and was
- 55:14Speaker 11: peeking through the tenant windows. He put me out of
- 55:17Speaker 11: the house, but he is still friendly with my co worker.
- 55:21Speaker 11: My coworker and I are avoiding each other at work,
- 55:23Speaker 11: and I can't help but think I got set up?
- 55:26Speaker 11: Or is it a coincidence? Since they're both being mean?
- 55:29Speaker 11: Should I go see if my coworker's wife wants to chat?
- 55:32Speaker 11: Why should I be the only person in trouble?
- 55:35Speaker 12: Hmm?
- 55:36Speaker 18: All right, so now you want to be a snitch too, huh?
- 55:39Speaker 11: I mean, what is the need to bring his wife
- 55:43Speaker 11: into this situation and cause her pain because you got
- 55:46Speaker 11: caught cheating with her husband by your husband.
- 55:49Speaker 18: When you cheat and do crazy stuff, the consequences could
- 55:52Speaker 18: be anything. This is your fault.
- 55:55Speaker 11: So what you had sexual tension with the guy at work,
- 55:59Speaker 11: you didn't have to add it. He's your husband's friend.
- 56:03Speaker 11: You forgot about that?
- 56:04Speaker 18: I mean, what about this? Don't you get?
- 56:06Speaker 11: And I used the term friend very loosely here because
- 56:10Speaker 11: friends don't do what your coworker did. Okay, your co
- 56:13Speaker 11: worker is trash for his part in this. And as
- 56:17Speaker 11: for you being set up, your husband had a tracking
- 56:20Speaker 11: device on you. Okay, he didn't need to set you up.
- 56:24Speaker 11: You did that yourself. Now you're out and you want revenge,
- 56:28Speaker 11: that's all this is. But his wife didn't do anything
- 56:31Speaker 11: to you. You got to let her live. As for you, wife,
- 56:35Speaker 11: you gambled and lost, and instead of you trying to
- 56:40Speaker 11: fix this situation, you know, instead of you trying to
- 56:45Speaker 11: fix this situation, you're trying to hurt your coworker's lover,
- 56:49Speaker 11: your coworker slash lover's wife by telling her. I just
- 56:52Speaker 11: don't think that's right. You should learn from this wrong
- 56:55Speaker 11: experience and move on with your life because you're out.
- 56:59Speaker 18: You did this, not her. You did this, Steve.
- 57:03Speaker 1: You know what, it amazes me the things that people
- 57:07Speaker 1: write us for advice on. But I mean, what's wrong
- 57:15Speaker 1: with you.
- 57:17Speaker 6: You?
- 57:18Speaker 2: Okay, a couple of things.
- 57:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna say that ain't really got nothing to do
- 57:21Speaker 1: with her actions, But I just like going deep into
- 57:25Speaker 1: the letter. You had an affair, You got caught in
- 57:29Speaker 1: the backseat of range rover with your coworker who happens
- 57:33Speaker 1: to be one of your husband's friends. Okay, now, and
- 57:38Speaker 1: then she said, I thought we were all cool.
- 57:41Speaker 2: What do that mean?
- 57:44Speaker 1: Wait a minute, you thought all of us were cool?
- 57:47Speaker 1: So now, but I recently found out that my husband
- 57:52Speaker 1: had put a tracking device in my purse.
- 57:54Speaker 2: Now, listen to me. You must be the only one
- 57:57Speaker 2: that thought all y'all was cool.
- 58:00Speaker 1: Why else would your husband even have to put a
- 58:02Speaker 1: tracking device in your person.
- 58:05Speaker 2: So so much for what you thought. You kind of stupid.
- 58:09Speaker 1: Most women are not this stupid, because women usually are
- 58:14Speaker 1: the first to know something is wrong. But oh no,
- 58:18Speaker 1: you didn't.
- 58:18Speaker 2: You thought all three of y'all was cool.
- 58:22Speaker 1: So then your car ain't been serviced in years because
- 58:26Speaker 1: it's an import, and the tune up is very expensive,
- 58:30Speaker 1: and you need two tithes and they expensive too. Now
- 58:33Speaker 1: your husband put you in the shop, cut your car
- 58:36Speaker 1: in the shop a few times, but he wasn't able
- 58:38Speaker 1: to put the two new ties on it. Here we
- 58:40Speaker 1: go buying something you can't afford. See, it's one thing
- 58:44Speaker 1: to get a big house, it's another thing to maintain.
- 58:47Speaker 1: It's one thing to buy an import. But these imports
- 58:51Speaker 1: cost more money to fix because the parts have to
- 58:55Speaker 1: be shipped in, usually from overseas, which adds to the cost.
- 59:00Speaker 2: It is expensive.
- 59:01Speaker 1: So your husband have made the decision better than half
- 59:04Speaker 1: your car running and rolling than to stopping on the highway.
- 59:09Speaker 2: But now it's been raining a lot, and now your
- 59:12Speaker 2: tires is bad.
- 59:14Speaker 1: But here was the part that got me with your
- 59:17Speaker 1: coworker and your husband agreed that I don't need to
- 59:21Speaker 1: be out on the road slipping his slide. What how
- 59:25Speaker 1: this man then went to your coworker to discuss his
- 59:29Speaker 1: wife's safety.
- 59:31Speaker 2: That's crazy right there. And so it's been raining.
- 59:34Speaker 1: So your husband, your coworker, agreed that he give you
- 59:37Speaker 1: a ride on rainy days. The first day you picked
- 59:40Speaker 1: me up, he said, it's excited to be alone with you.
- 59:42Speaker 1: And that was music to your ears, because y'all have
- 59:45Speaker 1: always had a weird sexual tension between us. Aware it
- 59:48Speaker 1: ain't weird. It's sexual tension, it ain't weird. But then
- 59:53Speaker 1: by the third rainy day he and I was laid
- 59:55Speaker 1: up in the backseat of the range rovere. I come
- 59:58Speaker 1: back with.
- 59:58Speaker 18: Tea on Steve.
- 1:00:00Speaker 11: We'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:00:03Speaker 11: twenty three minutes after the hour today Strawberry letter, subject.
- 1:00:06Speaker 18: Rainy day romances in the Rover. We'll get back into
- 1:00:10Speaker 18: it right after this.
- 1:00:11Speaker 19: You're listening Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:00:15Speaker 11: All right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's Strawberry letter,
- 1:00:17Speaker 11: the subject rainy day romances in the rover.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: So now you done got caught in the backseat with
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: a coworker because your husband put a tracking device in
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: your purse. Now you said in the letter, I thought
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: we were all cool because your coworkers, your husband was free.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: I thought we was all cool. How did you think
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: y'all was all cool? Something was wrong for your husband
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: even put a tracking device in your purse in the
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: first place.
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: He couldn't.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: You got an import that y'all can't afford, so you
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: can't afford to tune up in the ties.
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: So your husband did the right thing.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: At least, let me keep the car from running down
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: and break it over, girl, But you still need new ties.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: So now your coworker and your husband, who is friends,
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: got together and decided you don't need to be driving
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: on rainy dames. So your coworker agreed to pick you
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: up on rainy days. And then when he got into
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: the car, he said he was really glad to be
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: alone with you because finally he was glad to just
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: be alone with you. And just him saying that was
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: music to your ears, because y'all always had a weird
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: sexual tension between It's not weird, you all had sexual
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: tension between y'all.
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: You, your husband's friend and coworker.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: By the third day that week, we was laid up
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: on the back seat and the range rover, smoking weed
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: and pleasuring each other over and over again. We got
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: freaky in the back of his range rover full separate time,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: and then my husband caught us. Now this is where
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: the story should take a drastic turn. This is where
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: the police reporters involved. This is where nine to one
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: one was down. This is where somebody was on a gurney,
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: potentially more than two people. This is where there's a
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: crime scene in yellow tape. But oh no, none of
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: that happened. I had my phone turned off and I
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: was gonna tell.
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: My husband that it died.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: I almost died when my husband showed up and was
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: peeking through the tenant windows. He put me out the house,
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: but he's still friendly.
- 1:02:41Speaker 18: With my corder.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: How do you know that?
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: And what kind of man? Are you mad too?
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: Because I don't know how if that's true, we still
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: friendly at all. I'm still trying to figure out why
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: none of what I just said is in this ladder nowhere?
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: Where are the police? What hospital was somebody taken to?
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: What crime said? Who still was able to go to
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: work the next day? My coworker and I are avoiding
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: each other at work, and I can't help but think
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: I got set up?
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: You got set up? Sureley's right. You did this yourself.
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: Ain't nobody set you up?
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: You was doing something, saying something about his friend that
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: got his your husband suspicious? Or is it a coincidence?
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: Since that both being mean? Should I go see if
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: my coworker's wife wants to chat? Why should I be
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: the only person in trouble? I'm so confused that this matter.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: Why should I be the only person in trouble? Well,
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: let me help you out with this part. Right when
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: you go chat with the man's wife, ain't you still
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: gonna be in trouble? So you're thinking, who is that
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: fault here? Is it your husband because he put a
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: tracking device? He wrong for that? Is your coworker wrong
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: for being sexually attracted to you? Was your coworker wrong
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: for bringing the weed to the back seat? Y'all could
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: have just been in the back seat discussing work, Bob,
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: But y'all was in the back pleasure in each other
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: over and over and over. So I'm gonna tell you
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: why I got problems this whole letter. You and the coworker,
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: if I'm the husband, both of y'all got a problem.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: Now I'm putting you out and I'm not taking them
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: back because if you this type of woman, I don't
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: want you back. You know, if all they take it's
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: a weed and a ride. You where uber ad uber
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: black anything, But hell, if you can't afford ties, your
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: uber count probably cut off. So I don't really know, lady,
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: where you want us to go with this letter. But
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: your husband though, this week, pied back ass. Dude, I
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: don't understand. See, first of all, I got he put
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: you out and you're not coming back. But my boy though,
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: the dude that's my friend. See first of all, man,
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna do your ass for disrespecting me. See see
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: me and a little friend. He got a problem because
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: he disrespected me. I don't think they set you up.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: I don't think it was a setup at all. I
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: don't know how they still friendly unless your man just
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: a coward and he's scared of the cold.
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: That's the only thing I could put with this. But
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: I don't really care what happened to you.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: You gonna get put out, and you called in the
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: lady husband, you called a demand's wife. Still go keep
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: you in trouble. You gonna be the same person that's
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: in trouble. You're not gonna solve your problem at all.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: But you're not trying to solve your problem. You're trying
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: to shift the blade. That's right, So good luck, good luck?
- 1:06:19Speaker 11: All right, Steve, post your comments on today's Strawberry Letter.

- 1:07:07Speaker 2: I don't know. We didn't get nobody to the third round.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't know, no, damn body, but I think, uh,
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: I don't man, you know, you know how it went
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: for us?
- 1:07:19Speaker 16: Yeah, okay, I got We're pretty good for us.
- 1:07:21Speaker 15: Huh.
- 1:07:21Speaker 10: You know we did pretty well. I think we did
- 1:07:23Speaker 10: really well. Yes, yeah, yeah, I think we did great.
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: Yeah, prid of you wasn't here yesterday when Yeah, well,
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: you know we up.
- 1:07:30Speaker 16: We're up to five wins right now? We got five.
- 1:07:32Speaker 16: I know, we got five good ones.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: Oh well, that's good. You know, that's that's projected. Remember
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: a couple of years ago, Brown's going.
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: To the super Bowl.
- 1:07:40Speaker 16: That's true, it was.
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, but if y'all.
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: Don't win five games with the roster, y'all don't put together.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Y'all had a great draft.
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: Man, I appreciate it.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: That's true.
- 1:07:49Speaker 13: Man.
- 1:07:49Speaker 16: You know, one person wasn't happy with the with the
- 1:07:51Speaker 16: NFL draft.
- 1:07:52Speaker 10: You know, Deon Sand's kind of upset about that because
- 1:07:55Speaker 10: only one h DCU player was drafted in the entire
- 1:07:59Speaker 10: only one one, and it came out of Jackson State.
- 1:08:01Speaker 10: Isaiah Bowlden went to the Patriots in the sixth round.
- 1:08:04Speaker 10: And do you know what I'm saying to him? Yeah,
- 1:08:07Speaker 10: to him, he said it was way more. See, you
- 1:08:09Speaker 10: players should have been drafted higher up in the draft
- 1:08:12Speaker 10: too as well.
- 1:08:13Speaker 16: So shout out to him for that. Man, I gotta
- 1:08:16Speaker 16: give a shout.
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: Out to the to the Warriors.
- 1:08:18Speaker 16: Can we look at at that Steph Curry, at the
- 1:08:20Speaker 16: greatest Game seven player?
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: Because man, the other nice fifty Steph Curry? Different man,
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: Man fifty. He really changed the way basketball is played now.
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: And it's it's great, but it's sad. What because I'm
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: gonna tell you right now, I don't like watching a
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: seven foot shoot thirty four percent from the three point Now,
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: get your big ass down now and don't Yeah, can
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: turn around and dunk the ball.
- 1:08:51Speaker 10: Oh man, Well, we got the Lakers and Warriors tonight. Man,
- 1:08:54Speaker 10: Game one, See what you're thinking?
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: This is gonna be rough, man, because the Lakers just
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: found a stride. But them damn Warriors. Now, to me,
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: they got nobody for Lebron and they got nobody for
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: a d But guess what, they ain't got nobody for Stemp.
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: They ain't got nobody for Clay. We got to see
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: how this is gonna go. I'm I have an update.
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: I ain't got no dog in this fight, Junior. I
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: like both of them, me too.
- 1:09:27Speaker 18: It's hope me some good basketball, all right, Junior, thank you.
- 1:09:30Speaker 11: Coming up at the top of the hour, a man
- 1:09:32Speaker 11: on social media, Steve needs advice.
- 1:09:36Speaker 18: He says, she didn't tell me she has kids. We'll
- 1:09:39Speaker 18: talk about it right after this.
- 1:09:41Speaker 19: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:09:46Speaker 11: All right, So Steve kJ on Steve Harvey FM, Wrights
- 1:09:49Speaker 11: and then my thirties and just started dating this lady.
- 1:09:52Speaker 19: And I really like her.
- 1:09:54Speaker 11: We've gone out on almost a dozen dates over the
- 1:09:56Speaker 11: last two months and it's been great. And we always
- 1:09:59Speaker 11: met up for dates at a specific location, which is fine.
- 1:10:03Speaker 11: But now I know why. We've never talked about kids,
- 1:10:07Speaker 11: but I've never wanted them. Maybe it's selfish, but it's honest.
- 1:10:11Speaker 11: I think she got that vibe and didn't want me
- 1:10:13Speaker 11: to know she had three of them.
- 1:10:15Speaker 5: Steve.
- 1:10:16Speaker 11: I really like her, but I've now found out about
- 1:10:19Speaker 11: the kids that I wasn't supposed to know about just yet.
- 1:10:22Speaker 11: It's probably something I should have brought up sooner that
- 1:10:25Speaker 11: I don't want kids. But am I wrong for feeling
- 1:10:29Speaker 11: like I've been played a little bit?
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: Well, if you don't want kids, you don't want kids,
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: and I can't make you you're thirty years old.
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: But I told I tell women this all the time.
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: If you meet a man and you're dating more than
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: one time, I think you should bring up the fact
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: that you have children. Because now twelve dates, and I
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: don't know how kids ain't came up in twelve dates.
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: Here's a woman that's intentionally avoiding that subject. Children are
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: too important piece of a woman's life to never bring
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: them up. Ever, how do you have a conversation with
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: a man that you like and never bring up the
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: fact that you have three children?
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: Three man?
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: So she's intentionally avoiding this, which can probably backfire for her. Now, son,
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: let me say this to you. If you have found
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: the right woman, she could be just the thing you need,
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: and you could be just the thing that those children need.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: But if that's not a role you want to fulfill,
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: then you got to move on. And I don't care
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: how you feel about it, because what you feel about
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: her has to transfer to everything that is her, and
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: those children are her. So if you can't transfer the
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: way you feel from her onto those kids, you got
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: to step aside. Yeah, Now, if y'all both agreed Jesse
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: to continue seeing each other.
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: But you know good and well that you don't want
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: her because of the three kids.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: I think I think that need to be discussed, the
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: fact that you don't want children and she got three.
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: But I think she's always felt like if a man
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: found out about the kids, they wouldn't want her, as
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: to do a lot of women, but please take take heart, ladies.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: There are a lot of men who will step up
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: and fill the role, and I think that should be
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: a special badge. Yeah, but I think that a lot
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: of men have done it, who've stepped up and filled
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: the role of an absentee father, and those men are
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: special men. But if brother, if you don't want that role,
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: if you don't want to be a father, and you
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: don't want kids, you gotta let this woman go because
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: that's all the package.
- 1:12:47Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: Yeah, And I don't know what game she trying to play,
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: like you're gonna change your mind or something like that
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: that that probably ain't gonna.
- 1:12:54Speaker 4: Help women die.
- 1:12:56Speaker 11: We think we can change a man always, all right,
- 1:13:00Speaker 11: I think we have time for another one, Steve. This
- 1:13:02Speaker 11: is from Heather on Facebook. Heather says, I'm a thirty
- 1:13:06Speaker 11: five year old woman who's never had a serious relationship.
- 1:13:09Speaker 11: I have a great career, a nice apartment, and lots
- 1:13:11Speaker 11: of hobbies, but I feel lonely and unfulfilled. I've tried
- 1:13:15Speaker 11: online dating, but I never seem to find anyone who
- 1:13:19Speaker 11: shares my interest. My greatest fear is that I'm going
- 1:13:22Speaker 11: to end up alone for the rest of my life.
- 1:13:24Speaker 11: What can I do to find love?
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: First of all, you need to change your interest.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: See you trying to find somebody with all these hobbies
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: you got that's interested in them?
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: You ain't fitna find, Like, what.
- 1:13:38Speaker 3: What is it?
- 1:13:39Speaker 6: What does she do?
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: And ain't nobody signing up for all this a naton
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: And everybody ain't got a lot of me? And I
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: know I ain't going to yoga, You know, there's a
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: lot of stuff. A lot of men ain't gonna do it.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: So what the man don't want to take salt water swimming?
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: So damn what?
- 1:14:02Speaker 12: Man?
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: You trying to find somebody with the same interriest you
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: can get up out of here? This all this bungee jumping,
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: you doing it? Damn pairs shooting? Everybody's signing up all
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: these monkey ass activities you've got change, change your damn hobbies.
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: Go see jo ass down and go to dinner.
- 1:14:21Speaker 18: All right, thank you, Steve.
- 1:14:23Speaker 11: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:14:26Speaker 11: up at twenty minutes after the hour.
- 1:14:27Speaker 18: Right after this, you're listening.
- 1:14:30Speaker 19: Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:34Speaker 11: Well, we all remember the viral clip from Jamaica Carnival
- 1:14:37Speaker 11: showing Chance the rapper dancing and grinding on a woman
- 1:14:40Speaker 11: and slapping her.
- 1:14:41Speaker 18: He remember that one. Yes, we do.
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: People your chest now, well listen.
- 1:14:48Speaker 11: People thought, of course that it was inappropriate because he
- 1:14:51Speaker 11: is married. Well, Chance, his wife is clapped back. She
- 1:14:54Speaker 11: posted a Maya Angelou quote about how some folks don't
- 1:14:58Speaker 11: quote grow up as they get older, adding I hope
- 1:15:02Speaker 11: one day we all choose to grow up. However, according
- 1:15:06Speaker 11: to TMZ, things were a little rough between Chance and
- 1:15:09Speaker 11: his wife, but it seems like now they are trying
- 1:15:11Speaker 11: to work on their marriage and it's all good.
- 1:15:14Speaker 4: Yeah, they've been clapping back to each other, hanging up.
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: They can survive that. I think I'm just surviving. But
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: she'd have put the Mayangelo poem, Yeah, grow up, what
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: is your silly ass doing exactly? That's because you done
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: brought all this hair on my way, because your ass
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: got that big ass three sitting on your head, leaning back,
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: smacking somebody on a boot chance, hanging that dog.
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: I love you man, thank you, but you have got
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: to take that hat off.
- 1:15:50Speaker 18: Is there a lie that he could come up with
- 1:15:53Speaker 18: or something?
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: Hell yeah, if he didn't have that hat on, take
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: her dancing no more.
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: He can't take it on, white dance. I don't see
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: you slapping my ass like that.
- 1:16:06Speaker 18: Oh yeah, all right, hopefully we'll work it out.
- 1:16:11Speaker 11: Coming up in thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll
- 1:16:13Speaker 11: play another round of would you rather?
- 1:16:15Speaker 18: Right after this you're.
- 1:16:17Speaker 11: Listening hard Morning show, and it's time now for a
- 1:16:21Speaker 11: rounded Would you rather?
- 1:16:23Speaker 18: Guys?
- 1:16:24Speaker 11: Would you rather be married to someone extremely attractive? Or
- 1:16:29Speaker 11: would you rather be that someone in the marriage who
- 1:16:31Speaker 11: is extremely attractive?
- 1:16:33Speaker 18: So you want to be.
- 1:16:33Speaker 11: Married to someone who's fine and beautiful or you want
- 1:16:36Speaker 11: to be beautiful and fine?
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: I want to be Yeah, I'm married to that now.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: Cute Tommy, I go yeah immediately.
- 1:16:54Speaker 3: Let me tell you so much.
- 1:16:55Speaker 18: I know I came up.
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: I came up big time.
- 1:16:57Speaker 6: I know.
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: So well are we doing this waiting on one motor?
- 1:17:01Speaker 5: Come on?
- 1:17:02Speaker 20: Come on?
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: How ugly are y'all. I mean, y'all, just y'all, just
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: why y'all do that to y'allself?
- 1:17:09Speaker 3: Man?
- 1:17:10Speaker 6: What so what?
- 1:17:10Speaker 3: What do you?
- 1:17:11Speaker 18: What's your answer?
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: You can't possibly think? Come on, you look like jacket.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: You got to be kidding. I have seen your wife
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: up close many times, beautiful sister. How dare you so
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: y'all compete? I'm telling you something else too. You luck
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: at them kids look like her? That's another that's another
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: brilliant move for him.
- 1:17:36Speaker 5: It's a jackpie.
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: It's a benefit for him.
- 1:17:40Speaker 18: He still wants to be the one that's extremely attractive.
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: Clear, Why would I choose to be ugly?
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: Thoughoose you is.
- 1:17:55Speaker 5: Choice?
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: The name of your show ain't ready to love for
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: good looking people?
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: Your show is just ready to love. And reason they
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: didn't name it Ready for Love with good looking People
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: because they had.
- 1:18:08Speaker 3: The other last host.
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: Get out of him.
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: The conversation. See this type of conversation that's got that
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: man that called in talking about seem like you jealous
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: of Tom. I'm just truthful with time. This ain't jealousy Jesus. Facts.
- 1:18:31Speaker 11: Come on, would you rather have a foot long nose
- 1:18:37Speaker 11: or would you rather have a foot long tongue.
- 1:18:39Speaker 18: Which one, nose or tongue, either one.
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: I'm gonna work it.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you that you're gonna be cute with
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: that too. What well, let me you're so ugly?
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: What is you gonna do with that foot long nose?
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: You think you ugly?
- 1:18:57Speaker 9: Now?
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: Sious?
- 1:19:02Speaker 20: I would be the most sexiest foot long nose dude,
- 1:19:05Speaker 20: You have that right?
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: They see that that pouls two things. But he is
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: ugly and he is delusional. Long nose on his already
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: ugly ass'll still be cute.
- 1:19:20Speaker 18: That's that's today's round to put you rather.
- 1:19:23Speaker 11: Thank you guys, coming up in forty nine minutes after
- 1:19:26Speaker 11: our last break of the day, and we'll close out
- 1:19:28Speaker 11: the show with the one and only Steve Harvey right
- 1:19:30Speaker 11: after that.
- 1:19:31Speaker 19: You're listening hard Morning Show.
- 1:19:35Speaker 11: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 1:19:37Speaker 11: the day on this Tuesday.
- 1:19:39Speaker 18: Yeah, it's been a fun day. Is it's been a
- 1:19:43Speaker 18: fun day?
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: Oh my god?
- 1:19:45Speaker 3: I know this year.
- 1:19:47Speaker 18: I'm telling you Christmas is tomorrow.
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: Start telling you that Christmas is not tomorrow.
- 1:19:52Speaker 18: It's tomorrow.
- 1:19:53Speaker 11: The way the Warrior is going Mother's Day, Yeah, Christmas
- 1:19:57Speaker 11: the way this year is going. Hey, Steve before we
- 1:20:02Speaker 11: get out of here, before you get to your clothing,
- 1:20:04Speaker 11: we had a caller for you.
- 1:20:06Speaker 18: He wants to know about your Elevate You green drink.
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: Hey, Steve, my name is Anthony.
- 1:20:13Speaker 17: How do you get a hold of your green drink
- 1:20:16Speaker 17: that you had on TV that tastes like chocolate?
- 1:20:19Speaker 9: Thank you?
- 1:20:20Speaker 18: You can give me a call back well.
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: And Regard.
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: I will be able to call you back. We'll say
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: it on the radio.
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: All you got to do is go to ELEVATEU dot com,
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: l Apostrophe E V A t E elevate you dot
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: com and you can order all three products. Original tart
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: cherry or chocolate chocolate is my favorite. The number one
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: selling has turned out to be the tart cherry was
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: I'm so surprised how many people love that.
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: But it's delicious too.
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: But it will affect you after you've been taking it
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: a few times, man, you will notice a way in
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: how you feel and your digestion and your energy and
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: in your mental clarity. I attribute that to the way
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: I am on the radio now. I have been absolutely
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: fabulous this year on the radio, and I must say
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: that it's because of brain clarity. Also, it has a
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: lot to do with digestion. I ain't locked up, so
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: you know, when I'm free, I'm more funny. You know,
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: it's hard to be funny when you locked up. And
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: so those are the things you can do to elevate you.
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: But I want you all to get ready because next month,
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: in June, I have some new products coming out that
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: will be available strictly at Walmart. Walmart has got on board,
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: so be looking for Walmart to strike and you'll get
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: three new products and three new ways to get the
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: already existing products. Walmart will have an exclusive with elevate you.
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: They've looked at this product and they said, wow, We're
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: gonna put it in the majority of all of our stores.
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: Thank you, Steve Harvey, and thank you to Walmart. So
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: coming soon you will be able to get these green
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: drinks in Walmart in a very selective and unique way
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: that makes it evinly travel with and gonna introduce.
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: I'm just not gonna tell it right now, but it's
- 1:22:25Speaker 2: coming to Walmart.
- 1:22:28Speaker 5: All right.
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: Let's we should call him back.
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: I don't now, I don't have time called Anthony back.
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: I love him, but if I call him back, then
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: he'll have my number. The ain't no telling what he's
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: gonna ask me for them.
- 1:22:44Speaker 5: Send me that cheer.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: Thank you, Anthony.
- 1:22:49Speaker 18: That's wonderful. Yes, congratulations Steve.
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: Yeah, my clothes. The remarks is gonna be quite simple.
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: I wanna address something that's been happening on this show
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: a lot, and what I've noticed about some things is
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: how people are blinded by certain things and how sometimes
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: the truth is hard.
- 1:23:13Speaker 2: For some people to come to terms with.
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: I just think that we need to focus on this
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: show a little bit more as people who come on
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: the radio every day in front of people. I think
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: one of the keys that's been the success of our
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: show has been our authenticity and our transparency. And we're
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: having a big problem with transparency on this show because
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: one of our key members on this show can't seem
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: to see what all the rest of us see. And
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: I think that I think we have to address that.
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: I've complimented Surely many times on how she looks. I've
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: complimented Call them many times on how she looks when
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: we go to live remotes. I've complimented these systems on
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: they hair. I've complimented Mississippi Monica on how she looks
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: and how proud I am of the women on our
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: show who have been even inducted into the Black Radio
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: Hall of Fame for powerful Black Women in radio. And
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: over the twenty three years that Shirley and I have
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: been together, I've complimented her many times when college on
