- 2:11Speaker 1: Is it? Everybody? On a real positive note? Today? Is it?
- 2:16Speaker 1: Today is the day? You know, when I was in
- 2:18Speaker 1: high school, you know, my mother was a Sunday school
- 2:21Speaker 1: teaching until she passed. I would walk out the door
- 2:25Speaker 1: every morning on my way to school, and my mother
- 2:27Speaker 1: used to say, listen to me, son, hey, don't forget
- 2:30Speaker 1: today is the day that the Lord has made. Let
- 2:33Speaker 1: us rejoice and be glad in it. And you know,
- 2:36Speaker 1: I ain't think much of it. You know, it's just
- 2:37Speaker 1: my mama being religious. You know, Mom's spiritual woman. So
- 2:41Speaker 1: you know I just took it as d But as
- 2:43Speaker 1: I've gotten older, man you know that's registered more and
- 2:46Speaker 1: more with me. Today is the day that the Lord
- 2:48Speaker 1: has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.
- 2:51Speaker 1: That's pretty cool, man. What better blessing will you get
- 2:55Speaker 1: throughout the day than the fact that he allowed you
- 2:58Speaker 1: to live and see another day? See sometimes, man, when
- 3:01Speaker 1: you're young, you don't pay no attention to that. But
- 3:04Speaker 1: all you got to do is keep living, keep watching
- 3:07Speaker 1: some people that you know not be here anymore, go
- 3:11Speaker 1: to class reunions and they're smaller. See people that you
- 3:14Speaker 1: really loved. It meant a lot till you leave this world,
- 3:17Speaker 1: and all of a sudden, man, immortality starts to matter
- 3:21Speaker 1: a great deal to you. Some of us learned this
- 3:24Speaker 1: lesson sooner than others. But I know when you're young, man,
- 3:27Speaker 1: you know, you think you're gonna be here for a while.
- 3:29Speaker 1: You think you got time to play around. You think
- 3:31Speaker 1: you got time to get it together, you got time
- 3:33Speaker 1: to make the mistakes. And but man, oh man, almost
- 3:36Speaker 1: every full blown adult that I know will tell you
- 3:40Speaker 1: and have said these words right here many times. And
- 3:43Speaker 1: I would see the reason I'm saying this because I
- 3:44Speaker 1: want you to hear them, because you're gonna use them
- 3:46Speaker 1: if I only knew then what I know now. Do
- 3:50Speaker 1: you know how many people have said those words right there?
- 3:53Speaker 1: Because in time, man, you gained so much wisdom. Oh
- 3:57Speaker 1: but it ain't like nobody didn't tell you, though. Somebody
- 4:00Speaker 1: told you back then. Hey man, it's best to buckle
- 4:02Speaker 1: down now, he said, Hey man, you better quit wasting time. Hey, look,
- 4:06Speaker 1: do your best at all the times, you know, stop
- 4:09Speaker 1: stop worrying about that. I'm telling you, son, in a minute,
- 4:11Speaker 1: them clubs ain't gonna mean nothing to you. In a minute,
- 4:14Speaker 1: they're going out all the time. Ain't gonna mean nothing
- 4:16Speaker 1: to you. I can't tell you how many times I
- 4:18Speaker 1: repeat it to my kids. But man, today is a
- 4:21Speaker 1: different day, because today is the day that the Lord
- 4:24Speaker 1: is made. So he gave you a shot today. If
- 4:27Speaker 1: you woke up this morning, or if you're finishing your
- 4:29Speaker 1: day on your shift, he gave you a new day.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Nothing bigger than the fact that he woke you up today. Now,
- 4:38Speaker 1: why don't you do something about that? Why don't you
- 4:40Speaker 1: take advantage of it? How About if you start today?
- 4:43Speaker 1: How About if you stop hesitating today. How About if
- 4:45Speaker 1: you stop delaying it today? How about if you stop
- 4:48Speaker 1: procrastinating today? How about if you make today to day
- 4:51Speaker 1: that you go forward. I mean, man, let's all just
- 4:54Speaker 1: decide today, let's go forward. Let's put forth a maximum
- 4:58Speaker 1: effort today. I mean, really, now what you're doing you look, man,
- 5:01Speaker 1: take advantage of this blessing of waking up, do something today.
- 5:06Speaker 1: If you would just start the process, man, start that
- 5:09Speaker 1: business you always dreamed of. Go looking to that other
- 5:12Speaker 1: job you always yearn for. Go get the training you
- 5:15Speaker 1: need to get the promotion. Man, going back to school. Man,
- 5:18Speaker 1: go see what you need to do to lift yourself
- 5:21Speaker 1: to the next level. Stop waking up every day seeing
- 5:24Speaker 1: high it's gonna go, and start waking up and do
- 5:26Speaker 1: something about how it goes. If you make one step,
- 5:29Speaker 1: he'll make two. But you could people talk about all
- 5:32Speaker 1: the time, man, it seems like you're always getting a blessing.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Oh man, when you're talking to a person, listen to this.
- 5:38Speaker 1: If you're talking to a person and it seems like
- 5:41Speaker 1: there's always a blessing coming his way, let me tell
- 5:44Speaker 1: you what that person doing. That person is putting one
- 5:46Speaker 1: foot in front of the next. That person is putting
- 5:49Speaker 1: forth some efforts out there, And that's the only way
- 5:52Speaker 1: God can bless you. God can only bless you with
- 5:55Speaker 1: your efforts. He can only put his finger on the
- 5:59Speaker 1: thing that you are doing or attempting. That's all he
- 6:03Speaker 1: could help you with. He that are no jobs walking
- 6:06Speaker 1: up to your door, knocking on your door. But if
- 6:09Speaker 1: you're beating the payment, if you're sending in the apps,
- 6:11Speaker 1: if you own line, scouring somewhere to work, somewhere to
- 6:14Speaker 1: get a job, then God can touch somebody's hard to
- 6:17Speaker 1: hire you. But if you're sitting at the house every day,
- 6:19Speaker 1: smoke every day, drinking, But you wonder why you just
- 6:23Speaker 1: can't get a job. A couple of times you don't
- 6:25Speaker 1: want out there, you got to If you ain't got
- 6:27Speaker 1: a job, you gotta go get one every day. You
- 6:30Speaker 1: got to go look for one every single day. You
- 6:32Speaker 1: can't take no days off. How about today? How about today?
- 6:36Speaker 1: If we decide today is the day that we're gonna
- 6:39Speaker 1: make the move. Today is the day that we stop delaying, hesitating, procrastinating.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Today is to day that we take a step in
- 6:46Speaker 1: the direction to do something for ourselves, for our lives,
- 6:49Speaker 1: for our family, for our wives, for our children, for
- 6:52Speaker 1: our community, for our school. Do something today, for crying
- 6:56Speaker 1: out loud, man, stop sitting in your own life, in
- 7:00Speaker 1: just a stew of misery in your own life. I'm
- 7:04Speaker 1: gonna tell you something. If you are in a state
- 7:06Speaker 1: of confusion, if you are troubling, if you're stuck on
- 7:10Speaker 1: what to do next, you let me tell you what's happening.
- 7:13Speaker 1: You're not doing enough. That's what it is. Man. See
- 7:17Speaker 1: when I get in a place, man where I don't
- 7:20Speaker 1: know what the next move is, it's because i'd un
- 7:23Speaker 1: usually stalled out. See, this is the way God works.
- 7:26Speaker 1: This is the way He's worked for me. Every time
- 7:29Speaker 1: I'm busy and I'm about the business of always trying
- 7:33Speaker 1: to live my creed, which is ABC. My motto is
- 7:36Speaker 1: ABC always be closing. I'm always working on something, something
- 7:41Speaker 1: to close something. When you're so busy with the business
- 7:45Speaker 1: of improving yourself and doing with yourself and becoming the
- 7:48Speaker 1: best you you can be, God is always working on
- 7:52Speaker 1: your behalf, behind some scene of something that you're in
- 7:57Speaker 1: the process of tempting to close. But because you're not
- 8:01Speaker 1: doing all you can do, you're limiting you. You are
- 8:05Speaker 1: because if your decision not to give you all in all,
- 8:08Speaker 1: you're limiting the opportunities for God to put his finger
- 8:11Speaker 1: on things and touch them on your behalf. I don't
- 8:15Speaker 1: know if the average person really understands or knows what
- 8:20Speaker 1: it takes to truly be successful on whatever level you're
- 8:24Speaker 1: talking about. But whatever that level is, I don't care
- 8:27Speaker 1: what a dollar amount you've got attached to it, what
- 8:29Speaker 1: level you've got, if you have made the decision that
- 8:32Speaker 1: you're going to be successful, I think that a lot
- 8:35Speaker 1: of people, the average person does not know what that means.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Whatever level you've decided to be successful on, See, that's
- 8:43Speaker 1: your level of faith, that's where you see your life at. Well,
- 8:46Speaker 1: guess what you got to maximize your efforts to even
- 8:50Speaker 1: get to that level. So listen to me. If you
- 8:53Speaker 1: want to be successful at your church, if you want
- 8:56Speaker 1: to be successful in your relationship, if you want to
- 8:58Speaker 1: be successful down at the day kissing, if you want
- 9:01Speaker 1: to be successful at your college, if you want to
- 9:04Speaker 1: be successful on your job, guess what it's gonna take
- 9:07Speaker 1: all you got in that world to become a success.
- 9:12Speaker 1: I don't know why people think that. If you don't
- 9:15Speaker 1: want to be where somebody else say, you ain't got
- 9:17Speaker 1: to put forth that effort, nain't wrong. You've got to
- 9:21Speaker 1: put forth your maximum effort at whatever role you're trying
- 9:24Speaker 1: to accomplish. Lord have mercy. Man. How about today, though, y'all?
- 9:29Speaker 1: How about today today as a good one. Let's make
- 9:32Speaker 1: today today. Let's get out of that. Let's get on
- 9:34Speaker 1: with it. Stop hesitating, stop delaying, stop procrastinating, start today.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Watch God have something to put his finger on there.
- 9:43Speaker 1: And that's all you're trying to do. Man, to line
- 9:46Speaker 1: yourself up with God's grace, you got to put out
- 9:48Speaker 1: a lot of effort so God can put his finger
- 9:51Speaker 1: on something. You feel me today? I shall hope you
- 9:54Speaker 1: do because I'm on one today. Let's da morning show.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, we are here, welcome to the right
- 10:10Speaker 1: on this Tuesday. My ain't it to make? Let me
- 10:12Speaker 1: ask Charlotte question before we get started. Yes, you got
- 10:16Speaker 1: you got somebody in your life, maybe somebody you work
- 10:21Speaker 1: with that won't it? They way and not your way?
- 10:27Speaker 1: And they all got to go together anyway. But if
- 10:31Speaker 1: they don't get a day when now they made work
- 10:33Speaker 1: for somebody like that? Not no moment? Free from that? Yeah,
- 10:44Speaker 1: I have been released from that. God has delivered me.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Won't I don't know why? Will it won't follow? I
- 10:54Speaker 1: never understood. Yeah, but yes, not any more. I'm good.
- 11:01Speaker 1: I'm happy to be where I'm at. That's not shade.
- 11:05Speaker 1: It's like I can't see nothing without being considered that sunshine.
- 11:09Speaker 1: I'm just saying, you got right to be happy, ja
- 11:14Speaker 1: right to be happy. He don't want you happy. I
- 11:17Speaker 1: didn't I see now that would be shade. That shade
- 11:20Speaker 1: right there. Absolutely, I promise you, he don't want you,
- 11:26Speaker 1: don't want me happy. So I ain't never seen nobody
- 11:31Speaker 1: that don't do not understand how this works. Man, that
- 11:35Speaker 1: what God has for you, he has for you. It's
- 11:38Speaker 1: for you. You trying to stop what somebody else got,
- 11:42Speaker 1: thinking you're gonna have more. You're still gonna have what
- 11:44Speaker 1: you've got, but he got plenty. But doc, but here
- 11:48Speaker 1: gonna you know what, Listen, I can I sum it
- 11:51Speaker 1: up for you. And this is what I want to
- 11:53Speaker 1: tell young people all the time about hate. Hate. Hate
- 11:58Speaker 1: is created because people think life is a game that
- 12:03Speaker 1: if I win, you lose, and if you lose, I win. Right. Thus,
- 12:11Speaker 1: people who look at life that way, they on the
- 12:14Speaker 1: end of that typing funky stuff about you that ain't true,
- 12:17Speaker 1: thinking that's gonna knock you down, and they and the
- 12:20Speaker 1: and and now they're bigger. Life is not a game.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Life is a contest. You just gotta get into category
- 12:27Speaker 1: and get your own blue ribbon. But if you go
- 12:30Speaker 1: to the County Fan, they give our more than one
- 12:32Speaker 1: blue ribbon. He this ain't the super Bowl. This the
- 12:35Speaker 1: County fat You can get in there for best pig.
- 12:39Speaker 1: You can win it for best syrup, best pickle, beats dog,
- 12:43Speaker 1: you can win that thing. For best dog. You can
- 12:48Speaker 1: get in that fast kicking. Yes, you can get that
- 12:52Speaker 1: for largest watermelon. Yes, dog. Life is a contest. It
- 12:57Speaker 1: ain't a game. Just get in your category, going, get
- 13:00Speaker 1: your ass a blue ribbon and going about your business.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Me winning ain't got nothing to do with you lose
- 13:06Speaker 1: it and you los it ain't got nothing to do
- 13:08Speaker 1: with me winning. So stop that. Depend on that. We're
- 13:11Speaker 1: talking with the radio show. Yeah, we winning winning. You
- 13:17Speaker 1: are how you look out? It's a contest. I didn't say,
- 13:24Speaker 1: did you get your blue ribbon? You're over there? You winning?
- 13:27Speaker 1: You winning in the little group you in. All right,
- 13:31Speaker 1: we gotta stop this right here. We'll come right back

- 27:24Speaker 1: morning because I'm probably hitting the slow. But I got
- 27:27Speaker 1: one more thing to ask you. What is what is
- 27:30Speaker 1: the baddest I'm talking about the baddest radio show in
- 27:32Speaker 1: the lane man, Steve harden More in the show we
- 27:36Speaker 1: never sung that is my roommate. Benny just wanted to
- 27:42Speaker 1: do it. Oh man, everybody got different kind of roommates.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Mine just having to be a bird. You understand, I'm
- 27:47Speaker 1: saying my roommate. All right, more of this crazy ignorant show.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this, you're listening Steve
- 27:56Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Carlo found this great article on hiring
- 28:02Speaker 1: your relatives your family members. Yeah, we're all on team
- 28:06Speaker 1: Tommy for the most part of Jay. Jay is president
- 28:10Speaker 1: and CEO. Yeah, but here's some information from the article.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Here the pros, Steve, Okay, for hiring your relatives, you
- 28:19Speaker 1: already know what you're getting. You already know. You don't
- 28:22Speaker 1: have to guess. You don't even think about it, you know,
- 28:25Speaker 1: because this is a member of your family, so you
- 28:27Speaker 1: know this person. Here's some of the cons though, it
- 28:29Speaker 1: sends the wrong signal to other employees, you know, like
- 28:34Speaker 1: they're not qualified for the job. They just got the
- 28:36Speaker 1: job because he wasn't. Huh that's true. Uh huh uh.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Here's another con. A relative may feel the rules don't
- 28:43Speaker 1: apply to in this case him. That's so he just
- 28:49Speaker 1: missed two days. Yeah, but he didn't get paid though.
- 28:53Speaker 1: That's where the staying. Oh he's gonna need it. He's
- 29:00Speaker 1: gonna do it, alright, so he working to conversate for
- 29:04Speaker 1: his check. There's another con Steve, Well, you don't necessarily
- 29:09Speaker 1: do this, but other CEOs might not hire relatives because
- 29:13Speaker 1: the con is you hold back from criticism or you
- 29:16Speaker 1: don't discipline him. So in this case you did. You
- 29:20Speaker 1: did dock him his pay, right, man? I wishall would.
- 29:24Speaker 1: I'm will not criticize him. What is we talking? We're
- 29:28Speaker 1: not doing criticism? Why are we talking? But but you
- 29:31Speaker 1: hired him, though, Steve, that was not by choice. What
- 29:35Speaker 1: do you mean, my sister? The only reason I fired
- 29:39Speaker 1: him is causing Hell. Well, I wasn't a good hide though.
- 29:42Speaker 1: You don't think he does good work? Steve, Wait a minute,
- 29:44Speaker 1: you don't think I was a good hire boy. If
- 29:47Speaker 1: I could replay for days, you missed the times you
- 29:53Speaker 1: called it from day one, those things I can't even
- 29:57Speaker 1: tell you. You guys weren't even here on day one
- 30:00Speaker 1: when Tommy used to call him from his bed at
- 30:03Speaker 1: least twice a week asking if he had to come in.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Is that true? I was trying to get used to
- 30:09Speaker 1: the system. That's awards, but we were all here. What
- 30:12Speaker 1: else you got that's about it. The article goes on
- 30:15Speaker 1: to say that issues with family members who come up
- 30:18Speaker 1: I don't even want to say this way. Yeah, just wait,
- 30:24Speaker 1: I gotta brace yourself. The article goes on to say,
- 30:28Speaker 1: issues with family members who come up short. You couldn't
- 30:39Speaker 1: let that go, asked me. He asked me. It's his show, wrong,
- 30:45Speaker 1: they come up? It said, issues with family members come Look, okay,
- 30:59Speaker 1: I'm pretty good job around here, come up short of
- 31:02Speaker 1: the job. They must have interviewed Tommy for this should
- 31:09Speaker 1: be addressed just as they would any other who would
- 31:15Speaker 1: have been the shortest one on the hip. That's that's
- 31:21Speaker 1: pop teen right there. Trying to read it one more time.
- 31:32Speaker 1: I read it again. What don't you say, President and
- 31:38Speaker 1: CEO of Team Timmy, you need to hit it again? Yeah,
- 31:42Speaker 1: but why shell? She got water come out of a Steve?
- 31:46Speaker 1: Did you not ask me to read this again? I
- 31:48Speaker 1: didn't know. I didn't know what it was. You know,
- 31:50Speaker 1: but you could not. You gonna let it go? Ok?
- 31:53Speaker 1: I was gonna reasons No, Junior, I don't think I should.
- 32:00Speaker 1: All right, Steve, let's get to the news. Ladies and gentlemen.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Miss Anne Trip, thank you very much. Everybody good morning,
- 32:06Speaker 1: Good morning. I know for a lot of folks this
- 32:08Speaker 1: feels like Monday, but it's actually Tuesday. In Flada, remaining
- 32:11Speaker 1: of that collapsed condo building in Surfside demolished over the
- 32:15Speaker 1: holiday weekend over fears of what might happen because the
- 32:17Speaker 1: tropical storm Elsa, which might have brought the structure down
- 32:21Speaker 1: on the heads of the rescuers. So that's down, and
- 32:23Speaker 1: Mayor Dan yellow Levine Kava says they used a special
- 32:26Speaker 1: technique to do it, the method of demolition energetic felling.
- 32:31Speaker 1: It's a process that uses small, strategically placed explosives and
- 32:35Speaker 1: relies on gravity to bring the building down in place.
- 32:39Speaker 1: That is what happened. Rescue and recovery teams have resumed
- 32:43Speaker 1: sifting through the rubble for more victims. At last count
- 32:45Speaker 1: now there were twenty eight people found dead, with some
- 32:49Speaker 1: hundred and seventeen others still missing and unaccounted for. Again,
- 32:52Speaker 1: that number twenty eight dead for sure and one hundred
- 32:55Speaker 1: and seventeen others missing unaccounted for. Meanwhile, Elsa made landfall
- 32:58Speaker 1: yesterday on the southern coast Cuba, after causing death of
- 33:02Speaker 1: three people in the West Indies and a state of
- 33:04Speaker 1: emergency has been declared in several Florida counties, with the
- 33:07Speaker 1: storm expected to reach Key West and the west coast
- 33:09Speaker 1: of Florida sometime today, also bringing heavy rains later this
- 33:13Speaker 1: week to Georgia and the Carolinas. In Washington, Democrats in
- 33:16Speaker 1: the House are expected to continue adding lawmakers to the
- 33:19Speaker 1: Select Committee being put together to investigate the January sixth
- 33:22Speaker 1: attack on Capitol Hill. Donald Trump held a Save America
- 33:26Speaker 1: rally on Saturday in Sarasota, Florida. There were hundreds of
- 33:30Speaker 1: fans and attendants, also a sort of a plane that
- 33:33Speaker 1: flew overheads pulling a scrolling kneeon sign calling the event
- 33:37Speaker 1: a loser loser. It was sponsored by a group called
- 33:40Speaker 1: the Midas Touches, the political action committee formed solely to
- 33:43Speaker 1: keep Donald Trump from running again for office. Brett Meisels
- 33:47Speaker 1: is the founder. He says, quote, these are loser rallies
- 33:49Speaker 1: where the biggest loser of them all wines further incriminates
- 33:52Speaker 1: himself and rants and raves like a lunatic. Unquote that's
- 33:56Speaker 1: his quote. Health officials say that while two thirds of
- 33:59Speaker 1: US adults are now vaccinated against COVID, the virus has
- 34:02Speaker 1: not disappeared because of a more infectious variant out there
- 34:05Speaker 1: going around. Still, more than two hundred Americans die each
- 34:08Speaker 1: day from the coronavirus. You need to know. The city
- 34:11Speaker 1: of New Orleans was treat to a Fourth of July
- 34:13Speaker 1: fireworks show on Sunday thanks to actor Will Smith, who
- 34:16Speaker 1: picked up the one hundred thousand dollars tab for It'd
- 34:18Speaker 1: have to find that the city didn't plan for a
- 34:20Speaker 1: pyrotechnic show for this year. He's in New Orleans working
- 34:24Speaker 1: on his latest film, Emancipation, and finally, today's International Kissing Day. Yeah, now,
- 34:32Speaker 1: back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to
- 34:35Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. If you believe this new survey,
- 34:39Speaker 1: the average American traveler hates going to the airport so
- 34:43Speaker 1: much that they'd add six and a half hours to
- 34:46Speaker 1: their travel time if it meant they could drive and
- 34:49Speaker 1: take road trips to their location instead. Wow. Wow, Well,
- 34:54Speaker 1: you know, it is a more enjoyable experience to drive
- 34:57Speaker 1: for a lot of people, because look, I used to
- 35:00Speaker 1: take buses. I'm talking about who we were touring. Oh yeah,
- 35:05Speaker 1: like for example, if I was going you know, okay, okay,
- 35:08Speaker 1: all of us lived in Atlanta for a period right,
- 35:11Speaker 1: like if I was going to Birmingham to perform, I'm
- 35:13Speaker 1: not going to get a plane, or if I'm going
- 35:15Speaker 1: to a Lando or I'm going South Carolina, I'm going
- 35:19Speaker 1: somewhere like that, I'm getting a bus man. Because if
- 35:24Speaker 1: you gotta leave in plenty of time, you gotta pack,
- 35:29Speaker 1: you gotta get dressed, you gotta get in the car.
- 35:31Speaker 1: You gotta get to the airport at least I on
- 35:33Speaker 1: a half before, and you gotta sit there and wait.
- 35:36Speaker 1: Then you got a board, then you fly. Then when
- 35:39Speaker 1: you land, you gotta go to the baggage claim, get
- 35:42Speaker 1: your bag. Then you gotta travel to the hotel. But
- 35:45Speaker 1: then you could have been where he was calling. That's
- 35:47Speaker 1: you need to stop, Steve, because when you get your bag,
- 35:50Speaker 1: that's a two hour wait. That's longer than the flight.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Oh man, I'm trying to tell your baggage claim. I
- 35:57Speaker 1: have stood there. I don't know who working back then.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Oh no, but when I saw you don't. Yeah, you're right, Steve,
- 36:10Speaker 1: all that time, when you yeah, all that, when you
- 36:12Speaker 1: think about it, Yeah, you can get on the road,
- 36:14Speaker 1: put your luggage in the trunk and be there and
- 36:17Speaker 1: just get to spend time in a couple of hours.
- 36:19Speaker 1: Can't spend time more relaxing. Yeah, I don't want to
- 36:22Speaker 1: spend no time with nobody. Huh. We took the bus
- 36:25Speaker 1: when we went to Albany from Atlanta. Web we had
- 36:27Speaker 1: to show down there. Yeah, all it was on there
- 36:30Speaker 1: you was, We was having fun? What I thought we was?
- 36:34Speaker 1: Maybe just maybe I'm glad to be anyway, he didn't
- 36:39Speaker 1: changed again. Then let's go on on college. You ain't
- 36:43Speaker 1: been no body on baggage claiming a long time. No,
- 36:45Speaker 1: damn wait, your bed come right off the back of
- 36:48Speaker 1: your plane. You know what you're talking about? Stood in bags?
- 36:53Speaker 1: What's this frustration? Ain't got no frustration? Roll out there,
- 36:57Speaker 1: up to his plane, get out, walked up the stet
- 37:00Speaker 1: all his plays. Oh, ain't nobody tending to get off
- 37:03Speaker 1: the dawn phone or nothing. He talking all the way
- 37:05Speaker 1: through the flight taking off. God, ain't no Steve belt
- 37:09Speaker 1: on and nothing, just sitting there and sitting there, putting
- 37:12Speaker 1: out there. I'm gonna say, what kind of sing all
- 37:14Speaker 1: I got na? Look? God is blessed. But once get
- 37:19Speaker 1: I ain't mad at it. He ain't mad at sound.
- 37:25Speaker 1: He get out of y come he got Yeah. At
- 37:29Speaker 1: seventy three percent of Americans, Steve agree with you. They
- 37:32Speaker 1: consider road tripping a more pleasant experience than flying. You
- 37:36Speaker 1: gotta take your shoes off, you gotta undress. You got it?
- 37:39Speaker 1: Oh my god, lay on that nicke and just going
- 37:42Speaker 1: on through. Coming up some more music and more fun
- 37:45Speaker 1: on the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the
- 37:49Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, ladies and gentlemen, get ready.
- 37:54Speaker 1: We consulting an expert because we wanted to know the
- 37:57Speaker 1: real deal. Okay, Steve is here of his breakup handbook.
- 38:01Speaker 1: All right. These as things that you need to have
- 38:06Speaker 1: in mind after the break up. Most most of this
- 38:09Speaker 1: is for fellas. That is, because when we take a
- 38:14Speaker 1: breakup hard, it's ugly. It's ugly out there. Now. These
- 38:19Speaker 1: are things from Steve Harvey's break Up Handbook, how to
- 38:25Speaker 1: act when you break up? All right? Now? His rule
- 38:32Speaker 1: number one, you are allowed only one drunk die You
- 38:41Speaker 1: know how you call him up when you drunk? You
- 38:44Speaker 1: only get the one. And it sounds like something like this,
- 38:51Speaker 1: Hello is me? You know who me is? Don't play
- 38:59Speaker 1: with man? You know who? Men? Play with my emotions?
- 39:05Speaker 1: Who is me? You know? You know who me is?
- 39:12Speaker 1: How many you get one one and get one of
- 39:15Speaker 1: them all right. Now, here's the next rule. You are
- 39:19Speaker 1: not allowed to roll up on your ex just because
- 39:24Speaker 1: you see that car parked outside the club, the restaurant,
- 39:29Speaker 1: or church. Don't go down. You can't do that. Sho
- 39:34Speaker 1: we broke up. I can't go in there if I
- 39:37Speaker 1: see the car. You can know you can't roll up
- 39:40Speaker 1: on them. Now. I gotta say you with church later on,
- 39:45Speaker 1: but just stay that stay out right, you girl. Can't
- 39:48Speaker 1: roll up on them. Oh that she is. I'm gonna
- 39:51Speaker 1: go in now. Yeah, Oh that he is. I'm going
- 39:53Speaker 1: in there. You can't do that. Call alleg all right.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Next one, y'all's favorite spot. It's off limits to both
- 40:07Speaker 1: parties for at least four months, and take nobody else
- 40:10Speaker 1: over there at least. Here's another one. Okay. Texting your
- 40:19Speaker 1: favorite song to each other is off liver. You can
- 40:23Speaker 1: listen to it, you can cry to it, you're playing
- 40:27Speaker 1: over and over, but you can't send it. So I'm
- 40:34Speaker 1: trying to move on and I'm killing you. Now. Listen
- 40:41Speaker 1: to them all, y'all. Stuff, All possessions is collected at
- 40:51Speaker 1: one time, and one time on. Anything that's left behind

- 41:37Speaker 1: and you can't be friends with mamma. Come home that mama. Yeah, hit,

- 42:57Speaker 1: Mobile baptisma. We come to you in ignorant in your
- 43:05Speaker 1: house and baptize. That's what we do. Hello. Hello, I'm
- 43:11Speaker 1: trying to reach a mister Wilson. It's just how you doing.
- 43:15Speaker 1: My name is brother spring Water Man. Listen. We uh
- 43:18Speaker 1: we we we got paid to actually come by and
- 43:21Speaker 1: do some services to uh for for you by some
- 43:24Speaker 1: friends of yours, and we wanted to actually call and
- 43:27Speaker 1: see about scheduling and see what you had available, uh
- 43:31Speaker 1: some some services. What y'all playing on Clenson Grass which
- 43:36Speaker 1: I do? What kind of services you had? Actually, sir,
- 43:39Speaker 1: You've got some friends that have actually spent a great
- 43:42Speaker 1: amount of money on you. And what we do is
- 43:44Speaker 1: UM we have a Baptismal on wheels, Servey. And what
- 43:49Speaker 1: we do is we go and we um we baptize
- 43:52Speaker 1: people at their home and and Baptismal on Wheels has
- 43:56Speaker 1: been it's a new UM company, but we've we've baptized
- 43:59Speaker 1: over a thousand people. Now we have a truck with
- 44:02Speaker 1: it which actually has a baptismal pool on the back
- 44:05Speaker 1: of it, and we actually come to your home and
- 44:07Speaker 1: we will baptize you in your driveway and and make
- 44:12Speaker 1: you hold again. So we hostess here brother water, Brother again.
- 44:17Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I fringwater, bro freingwater. What you want to
- 44:20Speaker 1: come to my house and give me a baptism in
- 44:22Speaker 1: my front yard? We want to baptize you right there
- 44:25Speaker 1: in your drive where your friends are paid for the services.
- 44:28Speaker 1: And my friend what a friend will pay for me
- 44:30Speaker 1: to get baptized. Man, I've been baptized, are already well
- 44:33Speaker 1: from my understanding, sir that but then that you you've
- 44:36Speaker 1: had some some bumps and bruises and and and they
- 44:39Speaker 1: seem to uh to believe that you need to be
- 44:41Speaker 1: Washington coming. I mean, that's all good, that's all. That's all.
- 44:44Speaker 1: It's all good. But I mean things are I mean
- 44:46Speaker 1: think that matter that it made? Man. I mean I've
- 44:49Speaker 1: been baptized, I go to church. You know, uh, me
- 44:52Speaker 1: and the Lord don't have no problems. I mean, we
- 44:53Speaker 1: all have setbacks. But for you to pull up with
- 44:56Speaker 1: your pool in front of my house to say you've
- 44:58Speaker 1: been to baptize me, that that doesn't make any sense
- 45:01Speaker 1: to me. Doc I means, sir, Sometimes when some people
- 45:04Speaker 1: are not able to go to the house of the
- 45:06Speaker 1: Lord and get baptized. You know, we're making a lot
- 45:09Speaker 1: more convenient for you, but we can actually need no convenance.
- 45:13Speaker 1: I don't need no convenience. What I need convenience for
- 45:16Speaker 1: you asking me to come to my house on a
- 45:20Speaker 1: Tuesday to baptize me in my driveway? Does that make
- 45:25Speaker 1: any sense to you? Brother Water? I mean, come on,
- 45:27Speaker 1: if you really sit back and think about it, does
- 45:29Speaker 1: that make any sense to you? Further? First of all,
- 45:33Speaker 1: so that's that's brother spring water. But what I'm trying
- 45:36Speaker 1: to what I'm trying to say, the water is holy water,
- 45:39Speaker 1: spring water. It doesn't make no difference to me. You
- 45:42Speaker 1: can't come to my neighborhood and baptize me in front
- 45:46Speaker 1: of my house, sir? What is all that? This is?
- 45:49Speaker 1: This is what your friends are talking about that don't
- 45:51Speaker 1: give what my prayers are telling you. Man and anybody
- 45:55Speaker 1: which which one of my friends don't recommend you to
- 45:57Speaker 1: come to my damn house. So I'm I'm I need
- 46:00Speaker 1: and i'd let me that you don't even make any
- 46:03Speaker 1: sense to me. You understand, I'm not I'm not at
- 46:06Speaker 1: any liberty to tell you who actually is. Uh, I'm
- 46:09Speaker 1: between the liberties because of my damn house that baptize me,
- 46:12Speaker 1: But you can't tell me who the hell I'm gonna
- 46:14Speaker 1: see you? But you're not there? What may come all?
- 46:16Speaker 1: You don't even come on that that makes sense to you? God,
- 46:19Speaker 1: come on, that doesn't make any no way in the world.
- 46:21Speaker 1: I'm gonna allow you to come and bring your phone
- 46:23Speaker 1: in front of my house and baptize me. Then I'm
- 46:26Speaker 1: asking you ask as you you supposed to be a pastor,
- 46:29Speaker 1: you supposed to be baptized, And I'm asking you, okay,
- 46:31Speaker 1: what's a friend of mine? Is tending you that you know,
- 46:33Speaker 1: letting you know I need to be done? How you'll
- 46:35Speaker 1: tell you? How that liberty to all I wanted to Basically,
- 46:39Speaker 1: I've already been paid. I'm coming taking a chance. Now
- 46:44Speaker 1: I'm baptizing me them back time. I'm going to baptize
- 46:47Speaker 1: you on Tuesday in your driveway. Man, I tell you
- 46:50Speaker 1: was did you come to my house and front of
- 46:53Speaker 1: my driveway? You better bring the old congregation, you understand.
- 46:56Speaker 1: You better bring the deacons, the brothers, the sisters and
- 47:00Speaker 1: and my asses. You think how many you got ties?
- 47:02Speaker 1: Which this is a problem. This is what your friends
- 47:04Speaker 1: are talking about. This is why you need to be
- 47:05Speaker 1: baptized and cleansed again and washed in the blood of
- 47:08Speaker 1: the lamp. This is what's wrong. You need to be cleansed.
- 47:12Speaker 1: That's what's wrong with you, mister Wilton. What's wrong with me? Now?
- 47:15Speaker 1: What's wrong with two is called me a little my ho.
- 47:17Speaker 1: They're telling me I need to be back in front
- 47:19Speaker 1: of my house. If I need to be backtimp, don't
- 47:21Speaker 1: get the only water I go down to the church.
- 47:23Speaker 1: I don't need you come in front of my house,
- 47:25Speaker 1: looking ole churcas. We are your praises and white sheeps
- 47:28Speaker 1: calling to back athlete. For my understanding, for my understanding,
- 47:33Speaker 1: for my understanding. Mister Wilson, you've missed two Sundays already
- 47:36Speaker 1: this month. Sun This so man, I can't go anywhere
- 47:40Speaker 1: and get the water. I don't need you coming head
- 47:42Speaker 1: because you tell him I missed two dead Sundays. I'm
- 47:44Speaker 1: gonna miss Sunday two because the funhous ain't coming off, Sir.
- 47:47Speaker 1: All I know is I've been paid to do a job.

- 50:49Speaker 1: I'm in love, but not with my husband. Here's Stephen Shirley.
- 50:54Speaker 1: I am a thirty year old mother of two and
- 50:57Speaker 1: I've been married since I was eighteen. Well, recently, I
- 51:00Speaker 1: met a man online and initiated a conversation with him
- 51:04Speaker 1: about sports since we like the same teams. I was
- 51:08Speaker 1: completely attracted to him when I saw him online, and
- 51:11Speaker 1: we decided we should meet in person. And once we met,
- 51:15Speaker 1: we started out as friends and we talked to each
- 51:18Speaker 1: other and saw each other daily. I started to have
- 51:21Speaker 1: strong feelings for him and it grew into us hugging
- 51:24Speaker 1: and kissing whenever we were together. Here's the catch. He
- 51:29Speaker 1: is also married to his high school sweetheart and they
- 51:32Speaker 1: have four kids. He says he is in love with
- 51:35Speaker 1: his wife, yet he still finds time to talk to
- 51:38Speaker 1: me and see me. Whenever he posts pictures on social
- 51:41Speaker 1: media of him and his wife, I get jealous. I
- 51:44Speaker 1: see how happy they appear to be. I have tried
- 51:48Speaker 1: to leave him alone, but it never lasts for long
- 51:51Speaker 1: because I like him so much. In case you're wondering,
- 51:54Speaker 1: I cannot stand my husband, but I've been with him
- 51:59Speaker 1: my whole life, and our marriage is comfortable. Besides, I
- 52:02Speaker 1: have my kids to consider. I know what I'm doing
- 52:06Speaker 1: is wrong, but now I am head over heels in
- 52:09Speaker 1: love with this man, and he knows and want to
- 52:11Speaker 1: let me go, but he's not leaving his wife. What
- 52:15Speaker 1: should we do? Well, I don't know what we should do,
- 52:18Speaker 1: but I definitely know what you should do. Okay, Listen,
- 52:23Speaker 1: this is a go nowhere, hopeless, hot mess of a situation,
- 52:27Speaker 1: and you know that this needs to end right now today,
- 52:31Speaker 1: but it probably won't because you are head over heels
- 52:34Speaker 1: in love with this man, as you say, and he
- 52:37Speaker 1: has already told you he's not leaving his wife. So
- 52:41Speaker 1: you know you're in somewhat of a quandary here. Because
- 52:43Speaker 1: you say you love him, I say, that if you're
- 52:46Speaker 1: unhappy in your marriage, get some therapy, get some marriage counseling,
- 52:51Speaker 1: talk to your husband. Maybe you guys could try different things,
- 52:54Speaker 1: get a separation, do something else. But don't just sit
- 52:58Speaker 1: there and wallow in happiness while seeing someone else on
- 53:02Speaker 1: the side, you know, behind your husband's back and him
- 53:05Speaker 1: behind his wife's back. That doesn't help anything. I know
- 53:09Speaker 1: you you want to what, nephew, are you squirming in
- 53:13Speaker 1: your seat though? All over it? Anyway? Yeah, he's not leaving,
- 53:21Speaker 1: So what are you? Guys? You just destined to sneak
- 53:23Speaker 1: around and see each other that way? Is that what
- 53:25Speaker 1: you really want? You say you want to stay married
- 53:28Speaker 1: to your husband for your kids. I mean that's good,
- 53:31Speaker 1: and that's noble and everything. But you gotta have some
- 53:33Speaker 1: happiness in this situation too. And if you're not happy,
- 53:36Speaker 1: if your marriage is not making you happy, you gotta
- 53:39Speaker 1: do something about that. First of all, I say, get
- 53:41Speaker 1: some counseling. All right, there you go, Steve, Yeah, yeah,
- 53:47Speaker 1: that's nice counseling. Oh, any word that right now? We're
- 53:56Speaker 1: skip over that. This matter don't says nothing by no
- 53:58Speaker 1: damn counsel This thirty year old mother. Here's the subject
- 54:03Speaker 1: I'm in love, but not with my husband. Now that's
- 54:05Speaker 1: the only time might hear you say the word love
- 54:07Speaker 1: in this letter. I got must point this out. Thirty
- 54:11Speaker 1: ye old mother too be marriage. Since you eighteen, probably
- 54:15Speaker 1: dated the boy. Since before that, you've never had any
- 54:17Speaker 1: other relationship. You know, met this man online, y'all started
- 54:21Speaker 1: talking about the sports. Then you saw him. He was
- 54:23Speaker 1: attracted to him. Y'all decided to meet him person. Once
- 54:27Speaker 1: you met him, y'all started out as friends, and you
- 54:30Speaker 1: talk to each other and saw each other daily. Now
- 54:35Speaker 1: you got to go out your way to meet somebody daily.
- 54:38Speaker 1: This ain't a co worker. Hello, this just a dude offline.
- 54:44Speaker 1: So y'all got to hook up. That takes time. So
- 54:48Speaker 1: y'all making ways to go see each other. Now both
- 54:53Speaker 1: of y'all is married. We'll get into that in a minute.
- 54:56Speaker 1: I started having strong feeling for him, and it grew
- 54:59Speaker 1: into us hugging and kissing whenever we were together. Hell,
- 55:04Speaker 1: y'all see y'all out of sports talk. See that old
- 55:09Speaker 1: that all we like the same team. How much liking
- 55:13Speaker 1: the same team gonna get you every day? Y'all just
- 55:16Speaker 1: up talking about this same damn team, About how much.
- 55:19Speaker 1: Y'all like it? Nah? He looking at your lips, You're
- 55:22Speaker 1: looking at his lip, y'all putting your tongue in each
- 55:25Speaker 1: other mouth. Wow, your damn right. Every day sitting up
- 55:29Speaker 1: talking about the team. Nobody talking about your team every
- 55:34Speaker 1: damn day. The Browns is much help they need. Damn
- 55:38Speaker 1: talking about the damn team every day. Here's the catch.
- 55:41Speaker 1: He is also married to his high school sweetheart and
- 55:45Speaker 1: they have four kids. He says he's in love with
- 55:48Speaker 1: his wife, yet he still find time to talk to
- 55:51Speaker 1: me and see me. Okay, listen to me. Now read
- 55:55Speaker 1: your lying back to yourself. He says he's in love
- 55:58Speaker 1: with his wife, yet he finds it's times to talk
- 56:01Speaker 1: to me and see me. He ain't in love with you.
- 56:05Speaker 1: He ain't in love with you. I'll explain that to
- 56:09Speaker 1: you in a minute. Whenever he posts pictures on social
- 56:12Speaker 1: media for him and his wife, I get jealous. That's
- 56:14Speaker 1: his wife, Your jealous fault. Put some pictures to you
- 56:17Speaker 1: and your kids and your husband on that Smile at it.
- 56:24Speaker 1: I see how happy they appeared to be. I've tried
- 56:27Speaker 1: to leave him alone, but it never lasts for long
- 56:29Speaker 1: because I like him so much. The first of all,
- 56:32Speaker 1: if you think that I'm gonna sit up here and
- 56:34Speaker 1: believe all y'all doing is hugging and kissing, you're wrong
- 56:36Speaker 1: about that. You're leaving stuff out. This left every day,
- 56:43Speaker 1: just hugging and kissing every day. And the subject I'm
- 56:49Speaker 1: in love but not with my husband, Well, what are
- 56:52Speaker 1: you doing to make you be in love? Because it
- 56:54Speaker 1: show ain't talking about sports, Lebron, Lebron. Most people been
- 56:59Speaker 1: in love with me. I'm just trying to say it's
- 57:04Speaker 1: because of what I do home. It ain't the Brown,
- 57:10Speaker 1: it ain't the cal Yeah, it ain't Houston. All right, listen,
- 57:18Speaker 1: Uh yeah, we'll be back at twenty three after you're listening.
- 57:25Speaker 1: All right, guys, Uh, here we go with Steve. Part
- 57:29Speaker 1: two responds today Strawberry and it's thirty old mother. And
- 57:32Speaker 1: that's why I meant this dude on love, so I
- 57:36Speaker 1: didn't started feeling something for the dude. They meeting every
- 57:38Speaker 1: day now, hugging and kissing every day, hugging and kissing.
- 57:44Speaker 1: He married, got folk kids, she married, got two kids.
- 57:48Speaker 1: He says he in love with his wife, yet he
- 57:51Speaker 1: still feels time to find time talk to me and
- 57:53Speaker 1: see me. But I've been understand something about men. Men
- 57:56Speaker 1: can be in love with somebody else and find time
- 57:58Speaker 1: to see and talk to you. But notice now, he
- 58:01Speaker 1: ain't in love with you. He's not gonna leave his wife.
- 58:06Speaker 1: I've tried to leave him alone, but it never lasts
- 58:09Speaker 1: long because I liked him so much. What that a
- 58:12Speaker 1: minute ago? You was in love? But I like him
- 58:14Speaker 1: so much because of what he do. It ain't just
- 58:19Speaker 1: a hug. And in case you wonder, I cannot stand
- 58:23Speaker 1: my husband. I know you can't stand your husband because
- 58:26Speaker 1: you're over here talking sports with this man and talking
- 58:29Speaker 1: sexiness with the sports. Did you see him dunk that ball? Ball?
- 58:38Speaker 1: Did you see that ball go through them up right
- 58:43Speaker 1: right down the middle? What did you see him tackle him?
- 58:50Speaker 1: Fell all over him, rolled and over and everything I showed,
- 58:55Speaker 1: like the way the quarterback put his hands up under
- 58:58Speaker 1: that to get that ball. Wow, we just talking sports now,
- 59:02Speaker 1: that's why we were just sports talking throwing. D you
- 59:09Speaker 1: throw that thing to me? Go a long, let's go long.
- 59:18Speaker 1: We just talk to sports. Now, go long. Who you
- 59:24Speaker 1: need to get a pen? You illegal use your hands here?
- 59:31Speaker 1: This I can't we fell in love like this. We
- 59:34Speaker 1: was just talking sports talking been here man, holding here
- 59:46Speaker 1: my turn. Let me kick the ball. You like wide receiver,
- 59:55Speaker 1: you got soft hand? Who's the tight end? All right, sir?
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: You know yeah, we're sports talk right now, sitting up
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: in him. Oh you rough in the past. Better quit
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: doing that to me, you show better quit doing that
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: to you. Well, so now after y'all to talk sports
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: and had exactly exactly now, you can't stay in your
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: damn hood, been within your whole life, and our marriage
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: is comfortable. Besides, you got kids. Consider Now here's the
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: key to the whole thing, and it's one I'm gonna
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: started helping Tommy out. I know what I'm doing is wrong,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: but now I'm head over heels in love with this
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: new man. He doesn't want to let me go, but
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: he's not leaving my wife. What should we do? We'll
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: let me explain them. He doing what he gonna do.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: He ain't got no other plans. You is the other plan. See,
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: the man is doing what he do now, since both
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: of you all are married, and both of you all
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: are in a consensual relationship, I'm gonna tell you something
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: that a young man told me. I never understood this,
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: but he used to use this all the time. The
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: saying is fair exchange. Ain't no rob see you married,
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: I'm married, You got kids, I get kids. You in love,
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: I'm in love. You ain't gonna where I ain't gonna.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: But we're getting together to come a problem and solve
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: a problem that we both have. A we go now.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: Is that right? One hundred percent? No? It is? It
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: is one hundred percent morally dead wrong. But ain't we
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: all singers yes saved? Ain't we all come short? Or
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: the mom y? Ain't we come on now from coming
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: millilite a shot? Or the glory of God? Ain't we
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: guilty of life's less for pleasures? Are? Who in here
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: ain't been tempted? Who in here? I ain't wanted somebody
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: that was wasn't yours? Who ain't looked over there and
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: wish they was over there? Widowman here ain't had something
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: across their mind and wanted it to stay there and
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: visit for a while. Ain't said something inappropriate to whom
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: in some way, hoping that it led to something inappropriate.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: I want to know who among you ain't took the
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: time to say, look a here, what you think? How
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: you wanted making mine? Give me some I like it,
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: like that touch me again? Who baby ass hot? Oh right,
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: now come on now can you come back over? Who
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: in here ain't saying this? All right? You're listening to
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: see what's something you feel like? You constantly constantly have
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: to explain to people something that I constantly constantly happen
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: to explain to people. You want you want truthful answer, Yes,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: we don't want you to lie. A thing that I'm
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: trying to get past is my lifestyle. Oh to explaining
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: explaining that. I can't tell you how many times? Why
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: y'all do that? You know you could have gayed this
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: to this. It's people over here that ain't got nothing,
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: and y'all spending this money on that. I spend a
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: lot of time dealing with that. But you give. Yeah,
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: it doesn't matter, it doesn't matter. You can't give enough
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: to people, That's true. You can give until you ain't
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: got no more and then they just move on to
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: another glass. But I get yeah, I get tired of
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: explaining myself. I'm through. I'm through doing that. I'm through
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: doing it. And you give to us. Ye, people very generous,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: You're very generous, yes, and thank you. But like Bishop
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: olmatop me for those who love you, no explanation necessary.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: For those who hate you, no explanation exceptable. And when
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: we ask you, Steve, I mean we ask you a
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: lot of stuff too, but we work together and we
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: just want to know exposures everything, you know, the blessings
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: come down. Let's slow down. Come on, Carl, like you
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: got the question, I do? I do? Okay, So listen
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: to this, Steve. You wake up and you see you
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: have texts from multiple family and friends. Now, half of
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: the messages say go outside, the other half say stay inside.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: What do you do? Half of the messages say stay
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: inside and the other half say go outside. From family,
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: stay inside. Yeah, and then from family and friends, you
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: got a whole bunch of text messages. I'm gonna stay inside.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: I can control most of what's happening in mind, go outside,
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: opening up yourself to what's in here. Ain't nobody in here.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: You can't get in here. I got alarms, I got security.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: I'm gonna stay in here, all right. I ain't gonna
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: go out nowhere. That's a good one. Yeah, we're playing,
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: asked Steve. Come on, junior, all right, uncle, what is
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: the dumbest and I mean the dumbest rule you hadn't
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: tune again, Yeah you did, mister change of attitude? What
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: is it? Whatnot killed? What's the dumbest rule you had
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: in school? That's the one elementary? Okay? Two people can't
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: slide down the slide board. That's say, who are you
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: trying to? We can't got but thirty minutes you see that,
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: trying to get as many in. If you left two
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: three of us slide at one time, we can probably
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: get a couple of slides in, one person at a
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: time and wait till they get to the bottom and
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: clear the ever bro bro Bro, you're listening to Steve
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, let's go. It is time guys
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: for comedy roulette. Love it? I love it comedy Roulette, Jay,
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: let me break it down, Steve, I got to we
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: got new people, Stave. You know his nerves are bad? Yet?
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: Will we take five subjects and put them on the wheel?
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: We spun the wheel? When stop? We will do the
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: damn thing? All right? Here we go the five categories.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: Number one excuses people use? Who owe you money? All right?
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: Number two? Doctors don't always know what they're talking about.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: Number three, why are you talking? Your team sucks? Okay?
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: Number four. Oh, number four, Um, I think I took
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: the wrong pill. Okay, and number five, and that's when
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: you realize you were lost. Okay, I spend the wheel cap.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: We'll see where it stopped. Oh, come on, doctors, doctors, doctors.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: I took the wrong pill. It stopped the number five, guys,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: And that's when you realized you were lost, Just when
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: you realize you love. Yeah, we got to turn the
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: music down so you can't. You can't, can't nobody concentrate,
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: but just loud. Yeah, y'all see me lost. I'll tell
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: you when you know you lost it. Didn't have y'all
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: time when you tried and the streets signs go from
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: English to the right, you can't even like you're trying
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: to figure out. I don't even know what is this
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: still main. Let me tell you something. When you're riding
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: and you're in the middle of nowhere and you see
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: a sign that say ten miles to juristic Paul Man,
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: your answer, lost man, Jurassic card I should know so
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: many When you're driving it and you mutter to yourself
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: that ain't damn house. Here's when you know you come.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: You make a right turn and it's a no exit.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: It's you right in the coach. This is when you
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: know you anytime you got to put your car in
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: reverse and look over your shoulder when you ride and
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: you see one store and get out, and it was like, man,
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: say you got any where you are? That's scarier. You
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: get out of stop side and you go by the
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: tree that used to do right. It was a tree
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: right right when you're driving and you stopped and the
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: guy said, serious, like the last time I told you,
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: keep telling you the directions. Direction. It's how you know
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: you I'm done this quest when you tell you gotta
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: lean out your pass in your window and say, my man,
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: my man, ain't my man? I got? You know you
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: lost when you sit there and you say, you know what,
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: I'm gonna leave my car and your uber from here.
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: I just don't know where I'm going, Because how you
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: are you lost? If you ever say these three words
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: right here? Yeah, excuse me, little boy? What they were? Strict?
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: Excuse me, little boy? Yeah, excuse me the little boy sir.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: All right, We'll be back with more of the Steve
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show right after you're listening to show. Okay,
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: here we go. While some women may expect men to
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: show their appreciation and love and grand ways. You know, darlings.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: Most women would be happy with just a small gesture
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: from their man to show how much they care. So
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: what small gestures are we talking about? You ask? Well
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: a recent Reddit paul the thread post the questions, and
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: some of the gestures include just putting their phone away
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: during quality time you were triboo, don't be all on
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: social media? Okay, yeah, right here, I'm all you need baby, Yes, yes,
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: focus on me. I'm an influencer. Okay, let me influence you.
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: It shows you know that they're focusing. Uh. And some
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: women say they love random little gifts to know that
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: you're thinking about them, like flowers, you know, things like that,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: we love flowers. Yes, yes, my god, yes yes yes.
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: Just a hug? How about just a good old hold
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: me hug? Okay, what do you think, Carla? I love that.
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: I love that was just little gestures. It doesn't always
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: have to be big, you know. And then I think
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: one of the things is just listening. Listening. I know
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: our husbands, you know, both of our both of us
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: are married, and you know our husbands. They want to
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: fix it, you know, they want to fix it. Just listen,
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: let me bend, let me go off. Yeah yeah, a
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: little jest. So they don't want to hear it. They
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: want to get to the solution, right Listen. Make sure
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: you follow us on social media. I'm on the Gram
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: at my Girls Shirley okay, and I'm at lips by
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: Carla on the Gram and what you guy coming up Shirley.
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: More of the Steve Harvey Morning Show at thirty three
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: minutes after right after this, you're listening to the Steve
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. If you believe this new survey, the
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: average American traveler hates going to the airport so much
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: that they'd add six and a half hours to their
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: travel time if it meant they could drive and take
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: road trips to their location instead. Wow. Wow, Well, you
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: know it is a more enjoyable experience to drive for
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: a lot of people, because look, I used to take buses.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: I'm talking about who we were touring, Oh okayuses. Yeah.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: Like for example, if I was going you know, okay, okay,
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: all of us lived in Atlanta for a period, right, Like,
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: if I was going to Birmingham to perform, I'm not
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: going to get a plane, or if I'm going to
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: a Lando or I'm going South Carolina. I'm going somewhere
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: like that. I'm getting a bus man, Because if you
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: gotta leave in plenty of time, you gotta pack, you
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: gotta get dressed, you gotta get in the car, gotta
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: get to the airport at least I on the half before,
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: and you gotta sit there and wait. Then you got
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: a board, then you fly. Then when you land, you
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: gotta go to the baggage claim, get your bag. Then
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: you gotta travel to the hotel. But then you could
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: have been when you was called. That's you need to stop, Steve,
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: because when you get your bag, that's a two hour wait.
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: That's longer than the flight. Oh man, I'm trying to
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: tell you, oh my car baggage claim, I have stood there.
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: I don't know who working back there. Man, I know,
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: but when I saw you don't. Yeah, you're right, Steve,
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: All that time when you yeah, all that when you
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: think about it, Yeah, you could get on the road,
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: put your luggage in the trunk and be there and
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: you just get to spend time in a couple of hours,
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: spend time more relaxing. Yeah, I don't want to spend
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: no time with your hum. We took the bus when
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: we went to Albany from Atlanta. Web we had to
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: show down there. Yeah, all it was on there you was.
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: We was having fun? What't we? I thought we was
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: maybe just maybe I'm glad to be anyway, he didn't
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: changed again. Then let's go on on college. You ain't
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: been no bodamn baggage claiming a long time. No, damn
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: your bed. Come right off the back of your plane,
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: so you know what you're talking about. He stood in
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: no baggage this frustration. Ain't got no frustration. Roll out
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: there up to his plane. Get I walked up and
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: stuff you get all his plane. Oh, ain't nobody tending
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: to get off the dawn phone or nothing. He talking
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: all the way through the flight taking off. Guy, ain't
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: no seat belt on and nothing, just sitting there and
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: sitting there, putting out there. We're gonna say, can sing
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: all I got na look, God is blessed uncle, But
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: I ain't mad. He ain't mad. He get out of
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: come now he yah. Yeah. At seventy three percent of
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: Americans Steve agree with you. They consider road tripping a
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: more pleasant experience than flying. You gotta take your shoes off.
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: You gotta undress, you got it, oh my god, and
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: just going on. All right, we'll be back with the clothes. Uh,
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: today's been a good day. Um, we'll be back to
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: closing our show. Yeah, with Steve's closing remarks coming up
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: at forty nine after the hour right after this. You're
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: listening to show. All right, here we are at the
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: last break of the day. Um, Steve, We've had a
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: good day, talked about a lot of stuff, and of course,
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: as usual, it is time for your closing remarks today.
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: I want to keep it positive, but I want to
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: keep it encouraging at the same time. And always as usual,
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: I just want to say this before I start. It's
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: not that I think I know everything, because I don't.
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: But in my sixty one years I have learned quite
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: a bit. I have learned how to come from the
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: back towards the front. I've learned how to be at
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: the bottom and work my way towards the top. I've
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: learned how to get over because I've been under I've
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: learned how to win because I have lost so many times.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: I've learned how to develop an understand it because I
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: have been more than confused before so I have paid
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: for these lessons that I've learned, so I'm just sharing
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: and that's all I'm doing. You don't have to take
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: any of this that I say to harder. You may
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: choose to go another way. But for those that are
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: really open to just hearing some theories of success, that's
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: why I decided to start doing closing remarks again to day.
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: Want to talk to you about something that really helps everybody,
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: and it's very simple. Get focused. You gotta get focused, folks.
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: You've got to become what I call laser beam driven.
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: You've got to set your goals and visions up, and
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: you've got to put those blinders on that you see
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: on the horse. See the reason they put the blinders
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: on the horse's so that the horses peripheral vision doesn't
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: distract him. If you have up in New York and
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: you see those carriages going around Central Park, all those
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: horses have on blinders. It's so that they can keep
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: the attention of the horse straight ahead. Blinders are very good.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: If you want to be successful, you're gonna have to
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: put on a pair of blinders that's so your eyes
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: when you look left or right, it forces you to
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: get them back out front the where you're trying to
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: go see because those blinders block out distractions. They block
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: out distractions because they know you got to get laser
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: being focused. If you want to be successful, you have
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: to focus. You have to stop veering off track. You're
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: just making the journey longer. You know, they say the
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: quickest way from point A to B is a straight line.
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: Now in life, it doesn't work that way. There's no
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: straight lines. But you can avoid some of the detools,
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: some of the distractions. But you gotta quit veering off track.
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: Everybody come to you. You can't participate in everything. Hey man,
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: we're going out tonight. Hey man, we're going over here
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: this weekend. Hey man, come on man, you ain't got
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: to study. We're getting ready to do this. Hey man,
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: don't worry about that. We're going a happy hour. Come on, man,
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: you can't go to everything. Stop veering off track. Next,
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: look at it like this. Get your mind made up.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: Get show mind made up. Of what you want to
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: have in your life, the legacy you want to leave,
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: what you want people to think of you as, How
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: much money you really want to make? Where are you
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: really trying to go? How do you really want to
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: be viewed. What do you really want to accomplish? Get
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: your mind made up. Here's another way to look at it.
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: Make a decision. Stop stop just wandering around. Life is
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: a series of decisions. Make one. Just make a decision today.
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: Make a decision. In other words, come to a conclusion. Man.
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: Just set up and say to yourself, you know what,
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: this is the deal for me. This is what works
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: best for me. This is who I really am. Skip
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: the outside interference from your friends and you and your
