- 1:13Speaker 3: Turn turn, got to turn the mouth the turn.
- 1:43Speaker 5: You probably got to turn mouth, turn the water up looking.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Come come on, you'll think, uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 7: You all listening to the voice, come on, dig me now,
- 2:07Speaker 7: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. I
- 2:11Speaker 7: thank God for it every day. I try to remember
- 2:13Speaker 7: that too, you know. I try to remember to be grateful.
- 2:17Speaker 7: I think gratitude is one of the things that helps
- 2:21Speaker 7: keep me grounded. You can go as far as you
- 2:24Speaker 7: want in life if you don't mind who gets the credit.
- 2:26Speaker 7: Well that applies to God too, don't it. I mean,
- 2:30Speaker 7: you know, really, if you don't mind who gets the credit.
- 2:34Speaker 7: I'm surrounded by very competent people. I'm surrounded by a
- 2:39Speaker 7: lot of people who work hard on their jobs on
- 2:42Speaker 7: their career, who are dedicated employees and also just dedicated
- 2:49Speaker 7: to their families and you know, dedicated to their own
- 2:52Speaker 7: set of aspirations. I don't expect anybody to work for
- 2:56Speaker 7: me forever. I always look at my job opportun unities
- 3:00Speaker 7: as stepping stones because I want everyone around me really
- 3:04Speaker 7: to aspire to be more. I mean, that's really the
- 3:08Speaker 7: way I am. I'm not any other way. I'm not
- 3:10Speaker 7: trying to hold you to this position. You know, tell
- 3:14Speaker 7: you there's no room for growth any of that. But
- 3:18Speaker 7: even though I'm surrounded by these people, I'm grateful that
- 3:23Speaker 7: God placed them in my path, in my life. But
- 3:30Speaker 7: in my mind, in my spirit, in everything in me,
- 3:36Speaker 7: the credit still belongs to God. I'm sorry, the credit
- 3:41Speaker 7: still belongs to God. See if you would, just for
- 3:47Speaker 7: a moment, stop thinking about yourself, just for a moment.
- 3:52Speaker 7: I know that's hard, but just for a moment, stop
- 3:55Speaker 7: thinking about yourself and realize that maybe you are who
- 4:00Speaker 7: you are because God is who he is. Maybe that's
- 4:04Speaker 7: the case. Have you ever considered that? That's the strongest
- 4:08Speaker 7: possibility I can give to you? You know, how do
- 4:11Speaker 7: you think you the one that made it through? How
- 4:16Speaker 7: you think you the one after all of the ignorant
- 4:20Speaker 7: decisions we have made that? Oh my goodness, let's all
- 4:23Speaker 7: be honest. Ain't we made some crazy decisions. I'm talking
- 4:27Speaker 7: about man, I have made decisions so adverse to my
- 4:32Speaker 7: destiny and career, my promises.
- 4:35Speaker 8: I've made some decisions.
- 4:37Speaker 7: Man, knowingly you hear me knowingly do something wrong, and
- 4:42Speaker 7: in spite.
- 4:43Speaker 8: Of all that, I'm still here standing.
- 4:46Speaker 7: Okay, come on now, really, really, all the dirt you'd
- 4:51Speaker 7: bene done, everybody done dirt, all the mistakes you've made,
- 4:57Speaker 7: you in the position you in today because of what?
- 5:00Speaker 7: Because you all that? Because you work harder than anybody else. Look,
- 5:06Speaker 7: I work hard, I'll be I'll tell you in a minute.
- 5:09Speaker 8: I work hard.
- 5:10Speaker 7: But I don't think I'm the hardest working person out there.
- 5:13Speaker 7: I'm pretty sure somebody done work way harder than I have.
- 5:16Speaker 7: So okay, so you work hard? Okay, cool, I got
- 5:20Speaker 7: all that. But man, what about his grace and his mercy?
- 5:27Speaker 7: What about his favor? How many times, man you done
- 5:32Speaker 7: relied on that, even when you ain't know you was
- 5:34Speaker 7: relying on it? How many times man God done shown
- 5:37Speaker 7: you mercy? You ain't even deserve it? Do you know
- 5:40Speaker 7: how many things I've done wrong? I just ain't get
- 5:43Speaker 7: caught at it? You know, Let me see how simple
- 5:48Speaker 7: I can be? You speed, you jwall, You lie to
- 5:54Speaker 7: police when you get pulled over that you wasn't speeding,
- 5:57Speaker 7: you go to court and argue you wasn't speeding when
- 6:00Speaker 7: you was.
- 6:02Speaker 2: You make U turns.
- 6:04Speaker 7: I'm just doing traffic violations. Now, let's get off traffic
- 6:09Speaker 7: for a second. Let's get on human violations. You talk
- 6:13Speaker 7: about people when you're not supposed to. You indulge yourself
- 6:18Speaker 7: in gossip even when you don't really have all the facts.
- 6:22Speaker 7: You pass judgment, You lust for people that don't belong
- 6:28Speaker 7: to you. You say things to people that you're not
- 6:32Speaker 7: supposed to say. So look, all of us, we all,
- 6:39Speaker 7: we're all guilty. Now See I'm not saying you do
- 6:43Speaker 7: all of that, but I'm saying I'm pretty sure I
- 6:45Speaker 7: hit you somewhere in there, just somewhere in there.
- 6:48Speaker 8: You donet lied before, you know you lied recently.
- 6:52Speaker 7: I mean, come on, And I'm just saying so with
- 6:55Speaker 7: all that in mind, See, I'm just looking at the
- 6:57Speaker 7: little things that we do that we don't get busted for.
- 7:00Speaker 7: Not to mention the chips you stole when you was
- 7:02Speaker 7: a kid and nobody caught you. Well, that elevated, didn't it.
- 7:06Speaker 7: And some of y'all just didn't stop stealing.
- 7:08Speaker 8: And next thing.
- 7:09Speaker 2: You know, you was in a car.
- 7:10Speaker 7: Now you're sitting somewhere you don't want to be sitting
- 7:12Speaker 7: because of a decision you made. But through his grace
- 7:15Speaker 7: and mercy, couldn't it have been worse?
- 7:17Speaker 2: Though?
- 7:17Speaker 8: Without his grace and mercy, could not it have been worse.
- 7:21Speaker 7: I know two dudes that got caught in the garage
- 7:24Speaker 7: one time trying to break in somebody's house, and the
- 7:26Speaker 7: person in the house they broke into just happened to
- 7:29Speaker 7: have a gun and held them in the garage, caught
- 7:33Speaker 7: them and held them to the garage to the police car.
- 7:36Speaker 7: That's Grace and Mercy right there, because they had all
- 7:39Speaker 7: full right to shoot these two people, but they didn't.
- 7:42Speaker 7: They're Grace and Mercy. See, all of us have benefited
- 7:46Speaker 7: from his grace and mercy. All of us have done
- 7:49Speaker 7: a wrong, committed a sin, broken the law, and somehow,
- 7:52Speaker 7: through his grace and mercy, got by, doing drugs, buying drugs,
- 7:56Speaker 7: slanging drugs, doing something, got by, jumped on somebody and
- 8:00Speaker 7: for no reason got by. You know, So see how
- 8:05Speaker 7: you figure with all that that can go on in
- 8:08Speaker 7: your life? And then hold on, let me throw a
- 8:10Speaker 7: couple more at you. You can't wake yourself up in
- 8:13Speaker 7: the morning, mister big shot. You don't have the ability
- 8:19Speaker 7: to control the breaths that you take. Really, mister big shot, really, let's.
- 8:25Speaker 8: Get real basic with it now. You can't wake yourself
- 8:28Speaker 8: up in the morning.
- 8:30Speaker 7: That's favor, that's grace, that's mercy, that's Him allowing you
- 8:38Speaker 7: to wake up just hoping we get it right. You know,
- 8:43Speaker 7: God spared me through all the dirt I was doing
- 8:45Speaker 7: just hoping. One day, man, can you just straighten up
- 8:48Speaker 7: a little bit? When I finally straightened up, and I'm
- 8:52Speaker 7: gonna just say it, straightened up a little bit. See,
- 8:54Speaker 7: I ain't straightened up all the way. Say I ain't
- 8:56Speaker 7: gonna sit here and tell you that I just straightened
- 8:58Speaker 7: up a little bit. He started blessing me. So the
- 9:01Speaker 7: more blessings I got start going, Man, maybe I'll try
- 9:03Speaker 7: straighten up a little bit more. So I straightened up
- 9:05Speaker 7: a little bit more. I still got a long way
- 9:07Speaker 7: to go, but I'm straighter than I was now. When
- 9:10Speaker 7: people judging me, and as they will, and they do,
- 9:13Speaker 7: because that ain't right, but they do, and I ain't
- 9:15Speaker 7: walking just the way they walk, then here come to criticism.
- 9:18Speaker 8: I get it all the time.
- 9:19Speaker 7: Stop wanting credit all the time, and give out some
- 9:23Speaker 7: credit where credit is due instead of having somebody patting
- 9:26Speaker 7: you on your back all the time.
- 9:28Speaker 8: Why don't you tell God kill people it was.
- 9:30Speaker 7: Really was God, man that you don't really know how
- 9:32Speaker 7: you made it that really man, you have no explanation
- 9:35Speaker 7: for your success, or you have no explanation why you
- 9:38Speaker 7: still exist in today. Why don't you tell somebody it
- 9:40Speaker 7: was God today. Don't be ashamed. It's the truth, ain't it.
- 9:44Speaker 7: I mean, really, man, let's give God some credit here.
- 9:48Speaker 7: Give God the credit and the glory and the honor.
- 9:51Speaker 7: And like that plaque said, you can go as far
- 9:53Speaker 7: as you want in life if you don't mind who
- 9:55Speaker 7: gets the credit.
- 9:56Speaker 9: All right, you're listening morning show.
- 10:02Speaker 10: Wake up, Wake up, wake up, rise and shine, give
- 10:04Speaker 10: yourself that stretch, that moaning yon and sit on the
- 10:06Speaker 10: edge of the bed, thank the man.
- 10:08Speaker 2: And then you got to get up, get out and
- 10:10Speaker 2: get something. It is right there that.
- 10:12Speaker 10: Monday morning, y'all. I said it it's monthy, it's monkey, y'all.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Wake up.
- 10:18Speaker 10: And of course Uncle Steve was out on vacation, but
- 10:20Speaker 10: I am trying to hold it down. That's the nephew
- 10:23Speaker 10: along with my beautiful comrades, Shirley Strawberry call Affair of Mississippi,
- 10:28Speaker 10: Monica and the One and Only kill.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Junior boy speaks, Yeah, what to do?
- 10:34Speaker 11: All right?
- 10:35Speaker 2: No, no, I can't be beautiful. He did not call
- 10:37Speaker 2: me beautiful.
- 10:38Speaker 8: I did hear that?
- 10:39Speaker 2: Didn't do that, my beautiful?
- 10:42Speaker 6: He did.
- 10:44Speaker 2: He was talking about y'all.
- 10:45Speaker 1: I'm sure my wonderful comrades.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Let's do that about that one time? You're pretty? I
- 10:51Speaker 2: know you, don't you know?
- 10:52Speaker 6: I know you?
- 10:52Speaker 2: Thank you? Ugly? How cool?
- 10:57Speaker 10: I understand, it's all cool. It's all good, cool man,
- 11:00Speaker 10: all you know. Let's have a great ugly day. How
- 11:02Speaker 10: about that?
- 11:03Speaker 2: Oh wow, you're gonna.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Get over here with me now?
- 11:05Speaker 2: Now you won't be uging now?
- 11:07Speaker 6: No, no, no, no, no no.
- 11:08Speaker 2: I'm just trying to cheer you up. I'm not trying to.
- 11:10Speaker 2: I don't need you. I'm fine. I came in cheer up.
- 11:14Speaker 12: Say my first day being unattractive, I've been in a
- 11:16Speaker 12: long time. Your first Yeah, when did you first notice
- 11:21Speaker 12: that she was on the track? When I was about five,
- 11:23Speaker 12: my mama told me your ugly as it looked just
- 11:25Speaker 12: like your dad.
- 11:25Speaker 2: I don't know what I was thinking. So every since then,
- 11:28Speaker 2: I've been und attracted. I knew it. I knew it.
- 11:31Speaker 12: But my daddy was in trouble. I was in trouble
- 11:33Speaker 12: because I looked like him. Yeah, when my daddy got
- 11:36Speaker 12: in trouble, I was in trouble too. Sure, so it
- 11:38Speaker 12: didn't have been ugly long time, long time.
- 11:42Speaker 9: Already you've owned it, You've come to times with it.
- 11:45Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Sure, I've been ugly since eighty two. I knew you
- 11:49Speaker 2: were five and five years I knew it. Stop. Yeah, time, boy,
- 11:56Speaker 2: when you had to say.
- 11:57Speaker 10: Something when I when I first messed, you had to

- 12:20Speaker 10: Want somebody, somebody, You just lean your head down the
- 12:25Speaker 10: way if you look at the waves.
- 12:27Speaker 12: If I'm just my back to you, you want me

- 13:56Speaker 10: to you ladies a couple couple of times. And I
- 13:58Speaker 10: know it's happened to me in junior. All right, to
- 14:00Speaker 10: a lot of people, a lot of people riding around

- 15:18Speaker 14: of days.
- 15:19Speaker 15: Ago, and that was out of town a couple of
- 15:22Speaker 15: days ago. What day are we talking about?
- 15:23Speaker 12: Uh so, what day is?
- 15:25Speaker 6: Actually? He said, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
- 15:29Speaker 15: He was there all three days. You guys let him
- 15:33Speaker 15: into my apartment for three days he was in my place?
- 15:35Speaker 6: No, MISTERI we don't let anybody in and let someone
- 15:39Speaker 6: in the unit allow them to be buzzed up. That's
- 15:41Speaker 6: the rules here of the building. So we definitely didn't
- 15:44Speaker 6: do anything.
- 15:45Speaker 4: So who let him in?
- 15:46Speaker 15: Who buzzed him in?
- 15:48Speaker 6: Sir? I hate to say it, but I'm assuming your
- 15:50Speaker 6: wife must to buzz him up. You mean my wife
- 15:52Speaker 6: was not there three days ago.
- 15:53Speaker 11: She was on a business trip.
- 15:55Speaker 4: She was not at the apartment three days ago.
- 15:57Speaker 6: No, sir, your wife was here. I've actually seen your
- 15:59Speaker 6: wife him in and out.
- 16:01Speaker 15: Okay, the dude is there right now?
- 16:03Speaker 6: He's downstairs. He's here right now with me, sir.

- 16:07Speaker 4: Late?
- 16:07Speaker 6: Okay, one second, missus, actually leave mister art fair paint?
- 16:13Speaker 11: I know?
- 16:14Speaker 6: And and what else he says? He left uh a
- 16:17Speaker 6: pair of pants, so underwear in the two for USh shirt, Sir,
- 16:21Speaker 6: mis chill hill till he's.

- 16:25Speaker 6: Put him on the phone, let me talk to god.
- 16:27Speaker 8: You know what, mister.
- 16:29Speaker 6: Right now we're listening to you, and I rate the
- 16:31Speaker 6: way you saying. I don't want to put this guy
- 16:33Speaker 6: on the phone. Mark, if you want to keep your
- 16:35Speaker 6: job at the building, you gonna put him on the
- 16:37Speaker 6: phone now, miss sir. Sorry, missus, he's actually leaving out
- 16:43Speaker 6: of the building now he's leave, he's walking. I don't
- 16:48Speaker 6: know putting him on the phone.
- 16:50Speaker 11: What is your problem?
- 16:51Speaker 15: But you got videos to vailis right? You got video
- 16:56Speaker 15: footage of everybody that comes.
- 16:57Speaker 6: In and out of the building, right, yeah, sir, But
- 17:00Speaker 6: you know, if if nothing occurs, we I think we
- 17:03Speaker 6: should have footage that goes back at least two weeks,
- 17:05Speaker 6: so we should be able to pull some things up
- 17:07Speaker 6: for you, sir.
- 17:08Speaker 15: Yeah, I'm gonna need you to get that and I
- 17:10Speaker 15: need to hit over to me right now. I'm at
- 17:11Speaker 15: my work email. I need it today because this is
- 17:14Speaker 15: some y'all let some my apartment and like, what kind
- 17:21Speaker 15: of incomepool, prety, what kind of in before are you?

- 17:25Speaker 6: They want to second? All right, well please hear me out, sir,
- 17:28Speaker 6: hear me out. I have We haven't just let someone in,
- 17:32Speaker 6: someone in your unit, buzz someone up. We didn't just
- 17:36Speaker 6: let anyone up. Now, I know you don't want to
- 17:39Speaker 6: hear it, but I'm assuming your wife buzz this guy
- 17:44Speaker 6: just turned up.
- 17:45Speaker 11: We didn't do that.
- 17:46Speaker 15: You shut up and get me what I asked for
- 17:49Speaker 15: and then we're done.
- 17:50Speaker 11: Okay.
- 17:52Speaker 6: Well, well, you know you're saying I have a problem.

- 33:20Speaker 10: watching him every night for three years, man, I can't.
- 33:23Speaker 10: I couldn't ask me anything else to be, to be

- 34:26Speaker 10: about the other guy? Said, man, I don't even know
- 34:28Speaker 10: that dude.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Man like a Hollywood movie.
- 34:32Speaker 10: Three and a half years and for three plus years

- 34:48Speaker 10: I ran into that God, I'm gonna think of this
- 34:50Speaker 10: guy's name in the minute. He's a cool cat man.
- 34:53Speaker 10: But I ran into him in the gallery in Houston
- 34:56Speaker 10: and he said Tommy, I said, yeah, yeah, what's going
- 34:59Speaker 10: on you?
- 35:01Speaker 2: You took my job years ago? Yeah.
- 35:08Speaker 9: But he was cool about it though, right he was.
- 35:11Speaker 10: He was really cool about it. He was real cool
- 35:13Speaker 10: about it, man. But yeah, Luther was Luther was fun.
- 35:17Speaker 10: Every morning, every morning before a show, we all did aerobics.
- 35:21Speaker 10: Luther had his own training that travel. We all did
- 35:25Speaker 10: step aerobics. It was I mean, he made it a family.
- 35:28Speaker 6: You know.
- 35:28Speaker 2: They welcomed me in. I hung with the band. I
- 35:30Speaker 2: was with the band. Wow.
- 35:32Speaker 13: I remember Carla Back in the day. Radio when Luthor
- 35:36Speaker 13: came out with an album.
- 35:38Speaker 16: Was big I was invited to Luther's house release I was, yes, yes,
- 35:44Speaker 16: and Luther showed us around.
- 35:46Speaker 1: It was I missed had.
- 35:48Speaker 2: Ralph Lauren wallpaper you hear me? Yes, Yes, it was incredible.
- 35:52Speaker 1: It was pianos too, as a little gift.
- 35:57Speaker 2: He was classic, Yes, he really was. All right.
- 36:00Speaker 13: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, guys, we're
- 36:03Speaker 13: going to switch gears here because we have an update
- 36:06Speaker 13: on a missing Alabama woman right after this. You're listening
- 36:11Speaker 13: Hard Morning Show, Okay, So you know we've all been
- 36:14Speaker 13: following this very serious story about a missing woman in Alabama,
- 36:18Speaker 13: twenty five year old Carly Russell. She was returning home
- 36:21Speaker 13: after she had picked up dinner on July thirteenth, just
- 36:24Speaker 13: after nine thirty pm or so. She was riding along
- 36:27Speaker 13: the I four fifty nine in Hoover, Alabama, which is
- 36:31Speaker 13: a suburb of Birmingham. Now. According to Carly's family members,
- 36:35Speaker 13: Carly saw a toddler on the side of the highway
- 36:38Speaker 13: and she pulled over to see why this child was
- 36:41Speaker 13: just out.
- 36:41Speaker 9: There and she wanted to help the child.
- 36:44Speaker 13: Carly called nine to one one to report the toddlers sighting,
- 36:48Speaker 13: and then she called a family member. The family member
- 36:50Speaker 13: heard Carly talking to the child, but did not hear
- 36:53Speaker 13: the child respond. Then the family member reportedly heard Carly scream.
- 36:58Speaker 13: Now after that, all the family member heard were the
- 37:00Speaker 13: noises from the Interstate and Alabama Highway patrolman spot at
- 37:04Speaker 13: Carly's car on I four fifty nine with the hazard
- 37:07Speaker 13: lights on. The officer reported that there was no sign
- 37:11Speaker 13: of Carle or the toddler. Carly's wig, hat and her
- 37:15Speaker 13: cell phone were lying on the ground by her car.
- 37:18Speaker 13: Carli was just seen on June thirteenth, and there was
- 37:21Speaker 13: a twenty five thousand dollars reward for anyone with information
- 37:24Speaker 13: on Carly's whereabouts. Well, now Saturday night, the news changed.
- 37:29Speaker 13: There was a message from Carly's family that she showed
- 37:32Speaker 13: up at home knocking on the door. Carl was transported
- 37:36Speaker 13: then to UAB Medical Center. So that's where we are
- 37:40Speaker 13: with the story right now. Very mysterious story. We don't know,
- 37:44Speaker 13: you know, a lot of details about it except for yeah,
- 37:47Speaker 13: she did come back home.
- 37:48Speaker 1: Well that's good that, yeah, is there it is? Yeah, Yeah,
- 37:52Speaker 1: she's saved. She's in the hospital and being you know,
- 37:57Speaker 1: taken care of. So that's the good news.
- 37:59Speaker 2: But you know, in the listen in this story.
- 38:01Speaker 16: Though in the beginning, I just don't think that the
- 38:03Speaker 16: story got enough tension to help find her sooner, That's what.
- 38:08Speaker 1: And it was because we.
- 38:09Speaker 16: All feel we all know why she's a black woman
- 38:12Speaker 16: missing in Alabama temporarily.
- 38:15Speaker 13: Yeah, and and social media is calling this a hoax,
- 38:19Speaker 13: you know, so we don't know until we get all
- 38:21Speaker 13: the details.
- 38:21Speaker 1: But so far, this is, this is the story right now.
- 38:24Speaker 1: First we were thinking that I'm glad she's though. Yeah, yeah,
- 38:28Speaker 1: prayers were answered that she was found safe.
- 38:31Speaker 10: So but I don't mean, I don't mean no harm.
- 38:33Speaker 10: I know, I know she wanted her hair back, and
- 38:35Speaker 10: I know you know what I'm saying. I know she
- 38:37Speaker 10: a black woman want It's like, God, I didn't want
- 38:42Speaker 10: to have.
- 38:43Speaker 12: You gonna be stupid every time could get I promise
- 38:46Speaker 12: you fool, just said, I bet you she woke that
- 38:49Speaker 12: week back.
- 38:50Speaker 10: I mean, it's it's laying there on the road, y'all.
- 38:52Speaker 10: I mean, if you're gonna get my stuff, get my hair, Okay,
- 38:56Speaker 10: that's right.
- 38:57Speaker 1: Okay, prayers for her, want for Tommy. Don't ask me
- 39:04Speaker 1: no questions, don't put me in that. I said what
- 39:07Speaker 1: I see.
- 39:08Speaker 2: Yeah, we all understand this, but all right, we're moving on.
- 39:11Speaker 13: We're getting out this coming up in thirty four minutes
- 39:14Speaker 13: after the hour, New Edition celebrated their fortieth anniversary.
- 39:17Speaker 1: Carlo's got an update for us and music news right
- 39:20Speaker 1: after this.
- 39:21Speaker 9: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 39:26Speaker 1: It is time now for music news with Carla, which
- 39:29Speaker 1: you got Carla. It's a lot of music news.
- 39:31Speaker 16: Earlier, Shirley in Entertainment News, you talked about Hove and yeah,
- 39:35Speaker 16: that big celebration in Brooklyn. All right, so we have
- 39:39Speaker 16: to say happy anniversary to New Edition. It's about forty years.
- 39:46Speaker 16: Oh wow, Candy Girl dropped. So it's their fortieth anniversary
- 39:50Speaker 16: for the album. But you know, the group was together
- 39:53Speaker 16: a long time before before that, you know, before.
- 39:57Speaker 1: That, so they probably were together. I think I read
- 39:59Speaker 1: somewhere like forty five years before, you know, because they
- 40:03Speaker 1: kept trying and trying and try and remember when we
- 40:06Speaker 1: saw the movie.
- 40:07Speaker 16: But anyway, happy anniversary to the entire The six members
- 40:12Speaker 16: of New Addition are all fans on the show. You man, Ralph, Ronnie, Mike, Ricky,
- 40:19Speaker 16: un Johnny and j Bobby. Johnny joined the group later,
- 40:26Speaker 16: you know, Michael Bivens found Johnny and he joined the
- 40:30Speaker 16: group later. But you know, the the reason why the
- 40:32Speaker 16: anniversary is coming up to not just because of Candy Girl,
- 40:35Speaker 16: because of the tour.
- 40:36Speaker 1: So you know, they did the big tour and you know, Charlie.
- 40:39Speaker 16: Wilson was out on them with them, and Jodah said
- 40:42Speaker 16: that first leg of the tour.
- 40:44Speaker 1: Then they went back out with my.
- 40:45Speaker 16: Man Keith with two e's and f Keith Keith sweat, yeah, Keith.
- 40:51Speaker 16: That's how I feel about Keith, Yeah, Keith and Tank
- 40:56Speaker 16: and Guy.
- 40:58Speaker 1: So I just feel like New Edition.
- 41:00Speaker 16: You know, everybody knows how much I love the Temptations,
- 41:04Speaker 16: but I think that New Edition is just like the Temptations,
- 41:07Speaker 16: one of those groups that can sing and tour forever forever.
- 41:11Speaker 16: They all look good, they're taking care of themselves.
- 41:13Speaker 1: You know, Bobby a little slow on some of the
- 41:15Speaker 1: the dance mooth a little You're gonna get off, Bobby,
- 41:20Speaker 1: You're gonna get off.

- 45:55Speaker 10: You just lying, that's no catch off. But come on,
- 46:01Speaker 10: come on button. Hello, Hey, I'm trying to read VON.
- 46:05Speaker 2: Please this VN. This is Darius. Darius with human Resources.
- 46:10Speaker 2: How are you?
- 46:11Speaker 11: I'm doing fine? Can I help you?
- 46:14Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 46:14Speaker 10: Listen, we have an incident that has taken place at
- 46:18Speaker 10: the job you actually.
- 46:21Speaker 2: What floor are you on? Vin? I'm all for twelve
- 46:24Speaker 2: floor twelve? All right? Do you use the copy machine
- 46:28Speaker 2: that often on that floor?
- 46:30Speaker 11: Not all the time, but I do use it every
- 46:32Speaker 11: once in a while.
- 46:33Speaker 2: Okay, every once in a while. So here's what's going on.
- 46:37Speaker 10: There's gonna be some actions being taken place here pretty soon,
- 46:40Speaker 10: some legal actions, and we're just clearing everybody. You know,
- 46:44Speaker 10: this is just a proper procedure that we're having to
- 46:47Speaker 10: go through. So let me just kind of enlighten you
- 46:49Speaker 10: on what's taking place. Someone on the twelfth floor has
- 46:54Speaker 10: copied their butt on a piece of paper in the
- 46:57Speaker 10: copy machine. So someone I actually sat up on the
- 47:00Speaker 10: xerox machine and copy their butt. Why someone would do that?
- 47:03Speaker 10: I have no earthly idea, But what's happening now is
- 47:07Speaker 10: everyone on your floor is gonna have to come in
- 47:11Speaker 10: and show their butt. So we're scheduling this now. I'm
- 47:15Speaker 10: thinking Friday at eleven a m.
- 47:17Speaker 2: Would that be so.
- 47:21Speaker 11: Y'all, y'all talk to y'all talking about y'r woman to
- 47:24Speaker 11: come up there and show show my, show my, because somebody.
- 47:30Speaker 11: I'm a grown man. Okay, I'm a grown man. I
- 47:33Speaker 11: ain't do that.
- 47:34Speaker 2: Okay, you know what. I believe you.
- 47:36Speaker 10: I believe you wholeheartedly, Von, But just to clear your name,
- 47:39Speaker 10: we have to, I hate to say it, clear your
- 47:42Speaker 10: butt as well. So we want to make sure we're
- 47:45Speaker 10: gonna find out whose butt this is on a.
- 47:47Speaker 2: Piece of paper, that did this. We're gonna find out.
- 47:48Speaker 11: You're gonna find you're gonna find out who's You're gonna
- 47:50Speaker 11: find out whose cheek those are, and you're gonna find
- 47:53Speaker 11: out real quickly in our mind. All right, I'm not
- 47:55Speaker 11: doing that, man, I'm not gonna come in. You said Friday.
- 47:58Speaker 11: You're doing this on.
- 47:59Speaker 2: Friday, Friday of eleven, not coming that my day off.
- 48:02Speaker 11: I'm pull my pants down. But some strangers looking really
- 48:07Speaker 11: look at my look at my cheeks, talking about somebody copied.
- 48:11Speaker 11: I'm not doing that.
- 48:12Speaker 2: I don't I don't want to.
- 48:14Speaker 10: I don't want this to take a turn, Von, because
- 48:16Speaker 10: right now this is if you're not if you're saying
- 48:19Speaker 10: you're not coming in, then other actions will be taking
- 48:22Speaker 10: place if you don't come in and follow the precedure
- 48:25Speaker 10: that everybody's saying. Everybody else that I'm calling they have
- 48:29Speaker 10: to come in.
- 48:30Speaker 11: How many how many people work on that floor?
- 48:32Speaker 2: There's at least eighty plus people on that floor.
- 48:35Speaker 11: You're talking about trying to have eighty plus people come
- 48:38Speaker 11: in drive a way work so some strangers and we
- 48:42Speaker 11: don't even know can look at our look at our cheeks,
- 48:45Speaker 11: and I'm not gonna do that. I don't know who
- 48:48Speaker 11: did it, but I know they ain't me.
- 48:49Speaker 10: Well, somebody somebody's xeroxs there butt on the twelfth floor,
- 48:55Speaker 10: and we're going to get to okay, but we're gonna
- 48:57Speaker 10: get to the bottom of who did it and what
- 49:00Speaker 10: you're What you're not gonna do, von is tell me
- 49:02Speaker 10: you're not coming in.
- 49:03Speaker 2: What you're not gonna do? Do you like your job
- 49:06Speaker 2: here with this company?
- 49:07Speaker 6: Oh?
- 49:07Speaker 11: Okay? What you're not gonna do exactly, You're gonna fire
- 49:10Speaker 11: me because I'm not gonna show y'all my sweet goodies
- 49:13Speaker 11: just because you just because you're from HR. You got
- 49:16Speaker 11: me foold if you actually expect me to think that
- 49:19Speaker 11: everybody that works from this floor is over here, like,
- 49:22Speaker 11: oh yeah, sure, I'm going some strangers. Look at mine,
- 49:25Speaker 11: look at my crack. You must be playing, no, sir,
- 49:29Speaker 11: not with me.
- 49:30Speaker 2: Okay, let me ask let me, let me ask you this.
- 49:33Speaker 2: Do you have a coworker named Andre.
- 49:36Speaker 11: Andre yes, and says he knows you.
- 49:39Speaker 10: Now, I'm just gonna put it out here. Andre is
- 49:42Speaker 10: stating that it could have possibly been you.
- 49:46Speaker 11: Really, Andre got the nerve to say it could have
- 49:49Speaker 11: been me? Andre? Why at he trying to single me out?
- 49:54Speaker 11: Like I even use that damn copier not around there
- 49:56Speaker 11: playing games. I'm a grown man. He must be out
- 49:59Speaker 11: of his mind thinking he gonna say I did it.
- 50:03Speaker 2: All I know is he stated that you were a possibility.
- 50:06Speaker 2: That's what That's what he stated.
- 50:07Speaker 11: He said I was a possibility. That That's dumb. He
- 50:12Speaker 11: ain't have absolutely the reason to think. I don't even
- 50:14Speaker 11: use that copier, man, I use that thing like once
- 50:16Speaker 11: every two to three weeks, everybody on that floor.
- 50:20Speaker 10: Okay, so out of once every two or three weeks.
- 50:22Speaker 10: Is there a possibility maybe you propped your butt up there.
- 50:25Speaker 2: And copied it.
- 50:26Speaker 11: Not at all, y'all. Don't ain't even told me when
- 50:28Speaker 11: this happened. I probably wasn't even working when the booted
- 50:31Speaker 11: chicks up him. You must be out your mind. You
- 50:35Speaker 11: can waste everybody else the time trying to bring everyone
- 50:39Speaker 11: in to get a free strip show, but you're not
- 50:41Speaker 11: gonna do that to me. This has to be unethical
- 50:44Speaker 11: and illegal on so many levels. You're trying to come
- 50:47Speaker 11: in and say everybody on the entire floor has to
- 50:50Speaker 11: come show that. Geez man, you must be kidding me.
- 50:54Speaker 11: What's your name? The whole time You're trying to call
- 50:57Speaker 11: me saying this is HR what's your name?
- 50:59Speaker 10: Because when I I'm Darius, I'm Darius out of human Resources.
- 51:03Speaker 2: I told you that when I first.
- 51:04Speaker 11: Called you, and Darius, well, Darius, when I do come
- 51:08Speaker 11: into work, I want to see let me ask you
- 51:11Speaker 11: this VN.
- 51:12Speaker 2: Do you know Leslie?
- 51:14Speaker 11: Leslie? I know that better not either saying my name,
- 51:19Speaker 11: but so you do know Leslie? Yes, I know Leslie.
- 51:22Speaker 11: She works it with me. So you're trying to tell
- 51:24Speaker 11: me that Leslie said this truth?
- 51:27Speaker 2: Do you want to know what Leslie said.
- 51:29Speaker 11: Yes, I would like to know what Leslie says, so
- 51:32Speaker 11: when I cuss her out, I get it right.
- 51:34Speaker 10: Okay, Leslie told me to tell you that this is
- 51:37Speaker 10: nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey.
- 51:39Speaker 2: More on the show.
- 51:40Speaker 10: And you just got pranked by your coworker, Leslie and Andre.
- 51:45Speaker 10: Oh Man, Leslie and Andre got me to prank phone
- 51:54Speaker 10: call you.
- 51:55Speaker 2: Man, I was, Man, I was.
- 52:02Speaker 11: Your uncle is right, bro, somebody is gonna whoop your bet?
- 52:09Speaker 11: I bet it this year?
- 52:10Speaker 2: All right, boy? Tell me this man, what is the
- 52:12Speaker 2: baddest and I mean the baddest radio show.
- 52:15Speaker 11: In the lane, the Steve Harvey Morning Show? Somebody is
- 52:19Speaker 11: dance really gonna whoop?
- 52:20Speaker 3: Y'all?
- 52:22Speaker 10: That is maybe I'm the only one that you know
- 52:25Speaker 10: done done with but man and dinner. Maybe I'm the
- 52:27Speaker 10: only one you understand.
- 52:28Speaker 9: I've seen it done in movies and stuff like that.
- 52:31Speaker 10: Man, Carler, you work, you used to work with your hoop.
- 52:34Speaker 10: Y'all ain't been in the copy room and laid across
- 52:37Speaker 10: the copy machine. Y'all ain't never laid across the copy
- 52:40Speaker 10: machine and hit that bait. Why is why is your
- 52:46Speaker 10: eyes going left to right?
- 52:48Speaker 2: Think about it.
- 52:49Speaker 1: I did meet him in New Orleans.
- 52:50Speaker 10: That work.
- 52:51Speaker 9: Oh wait, there's nothing.
- 52:54Speaker 1: You have to think about.
- 52:55Speaker 10: Well okay, okay, you ready to get ready to get
- 53:00Speaker 10: ready to get ready for Redondo Beach performing on Center La.

- 53:19Speaker 6: What what? What?
- 53:21Speaker 2: Council free?

- 53:58Speaker 2: it for you. Here. It is Strawberry letta subject.
- 54:02Speaker 1: Put up her shut up because you're messed up.
- 54:04Speaker 9: Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 54:06Speaker 13: I'm dating a man that has three children by an
- 54:08Speaker 13: ex girlfriend that he never married. Every summer he takes
- 54:12Speaker 13: his children on a family vacation. We've been together for
- 54:15Speaker 13: three years, so I asked, why hasn't he invited me
- 54:19Speaker 13: to join him on one of the vacations. He said,
- 54:21Speaker 13: it's all about the kids, and he would take me
- 54:23Speaker 13: on a quick vacation when he got back. This man
- 54:26Speaker 13: has the money and the time to go anywhere he
- 54:29Speaker 13: wants to, but he hasn't taken me anywhere. In the
- 54:32Speaker 13: midst of me being mad at him, he asked me
- 54:35Speaker 13: to take his thirteen year old daughter to her eye appointment,
- 54:38Speaker 13: and I love her, so I did it for him.
- 54:40Speaker 13: After the appointment, she wanted to get a swimsuit, so
- 54:43Speaker 13: we went by the mall. She was looking for a
- 54:46Speaker 13: specific suit, so we searched the store until we found it.
- 54:50Speaker 13: She was texting someone the whole time we were in
- 54:53Speaker 13: the store, and when she went to try her swimsuit on,
- 54:56Speaker 13: she left her phone with me.
- 54:57Speaker 1: A text popped up from her mom. Oh, I read it.
- 55:00Speaker 13: Her mom said that she is glad that we found
- 55:03Speaker 13: the suit so they could be twins on the trip.
- 55:06Speaker 13: I asked the child if her mom was going on
- 55:09Speaker 13: the trip with her and her father, and she said yes.
- 55:12Speaker 13: She said her mom goes on vacation with them every summer.
- 55:15Speaker 13: I managed to hold myself together until I got to
- 55:17Speaker 13: my boyfriend and he said it's no big deal and
- 55:20Speaker 13: he's not attracted to his ex. I told him that
- 55:23Speaker 13: if she goes, I'm going. He said I can't go,
- 55:26Speaker 13: and that's that. I told him I'm planning a trip
- 55:28Speaker 13: to Jamaica and he's paying for it since he hurt me.
- 55:31Speaker 13: He said, he's not playing this game with me. He
- 55:34Speaker 13: needs to put up or shut up because he messed up.
- 55:37Speaker 13: He's making me feel like a side chick. Is it
- 55:40Speaker 13: normal for a man to go on vacation with his
- 55:42Speaker 13: ex for the sake of the children. Could I be overreacting?
- 55:46Speaker 6: You know?
- 55:46Speaker 13: And to that, I say, please, don't second guess yourself.
- 55:49Speaker 13: Your feelings are valid and it's okay because you should
- 55:52Speaker 13: feel some kind of way with this. He never told
- 55:55Speaker 13: you this before. He's keeping secrets. You didn't know his
- 55:59Speaker 13: ex was going and he didn't tell you. I mean,
- 56:01Speaker 13: if they're not doing anything, or if it's all about
- 56:04Speaker 13: the kids, like he says, why didn't he tell you?
- 56:07Speaker 13: And why isn't he taking you with them? What's the
- 56:10Speaker 13: big secret? I mean, if this is right here, though,
- 56:13Speaker 13: is for you? Why have you been putting up with
- 56:16Speaker 13: this for three years? I mean this goes down every
- 56:18Speaker 13: single summer and the wife, according to her daughter, goes.
- 56:22Speaker 9: With them all the time.
- 56:24Speaker 13: No, you shouldn't be going with him or doing something
- 56:28Speaker 13: as equally as fun. Why don't you do something equally
- 56:31Speaker 13: as fun with your girlfriends? If he says you can't go,
- 56:34Speaker 13: I mean, it's not like you don't get along with
- 56:36Speaker 13: the kids. You just hung out with the daughter, So
- 56:39Speaker 13: you're good enough to do that hanging out with the
- 56:42Speaker 13: daughter and helping her shop and all of that, but not.
- 56:44Speaker 9: Good enough to go on a trip with them. I mean,
- 56:47Speaker 9: I don't think this is okay. It's good.
- 56:49Speaker 13: You're putting your foot down now, and you see his response,
- 56:52Speaker 13: which is very inconsiderate of how you feel. So now
- 56:56Speaker 13: it's up to you to decide if you want to
- 56:59Speaker 13: continue in this really relationship. I mean, do you want
- 57:02Speaker 13: three more years of this? That's the question you should
- 57:05Speaker 13: be asking yourself, Tommy.
- 57:08Speaker 10: I got no jokes today Today is you know what
- 57:11Speaker 10: you need to actually get out? You need to get
- 57:15Speaker 10: out of this relationship. Yeah, because he has no respect
- 57:18Speaker 10: for you whatsoever. This has been going on for a
- 57:21Speaker 10: long period of time. You've never been when when we
- 57:23Speaker 10: talk about having a vacation for you, how is it
- 57:26Speaker 10: worthed a quick vacation, you know what I mean? So
- 57:31Speaker 10: you're not looked at as someone that you're not important
- 57:34Speaker 10: to him at all. You are not important to him.
- 57:38Speaker 2: He does not care. And once again, I'm not playing
- 57:41Speaker 2: this game now.
- 57:41Speaker 10: I don't think you should be playing this game with
- 57:43Speaker 10: him either, you know, put up or shut up because
- 57:46Speaker 10: you messed up all of this.
- 57:47Speaker 2: No, what you need to be doing is trying. You
- 57:49Speaker 2: want your man to respect you.
- 57:50Speaker 10: You want your man to be making sure that he
- 57:53Speaker 10: takes care of you the way he's taking care of
- 57:55Speaker 10: everybody else. Because it seems like you are just whenever
- 57:58Speaker 10: he gets to you, he'll get to you. That's it,
- 58:01Speaker 10: you know what I mean. So you're an after throat.
- 58:03Speaker 10: You are not You are not somebody that he's like,
- 58:05Speaker 10: I want to make sure my girl is straight. Blah
- 58:07Speaker 10: blah blah blah blah. He's not doing that with you.
- 58:09Speaker 10: And you know you got me and my ready to
- 58:11Speaker 10: love mode right now. He is not ready to love
- 58:13Speaker 10: you the right way, all right, sister, So you need
- 58:16Speaker 10: to step off and say, you know what, listen this,
- 58:18Speaker 10: evidently you got some other things that's more important to
- 58:21Speaker 10: you than me. So let me remove myself from this relationship.
- 58:24Speaker 10: Let me find somebody who's gonna love me the way
- 58:26Speaker 10: I want to be loved. Let me find somebody's gonna
- 58:28Speaker 10: take me on vacations every year and and and we're
- 58:31Speaker 10: gonna have us a good time.
- 58:32Speaker 2: And I'm going to be important to them, But to you,
- 58:36Speaker 2: I'm not important.
- 58:37Speaker 10: This is why you look a man. And if you
- 58:38Speaker 10: tell them exactly what, you're not gonna tolerate. Step out
- 58:41Speaker 10: of it.
- 58:42Speaker 2: Leeve Now.
- 58:43Speaker 10: If I was gonna be stupid, then do some time
- 58:46Speaker 10: and stuff. Then I tell you to go back to
- 58:48Speaker 10: that go back to that stove and get that same
- 58:50Speaker 10: swift suit and will show up. So now the three
- 58:53Speaker 10: of y'all got it on and popping up in now
- 58:56Speaker 10: at the vacation baby, roll out there and find out
- 58:58Speaker 10: when they're gonna wear it, and when you roll lot
- 59:00Speaker 10: they had the same thing on. And go over there
- 59:02Speaker 10: and take a picture just the three of y'all with
- 59:03Speaker 10: the same for him, Sue, if I was gonna be Tommy,
- 59:06Speaker 10: but I was being Thomas.
- 59:07Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. That's a difference between street.
- 59:10Speaker 1: She should be going with him or doing something fun
- 59:12Speaker 1: on her own with her girls.
- 59:13Speaker 13: That's right, All right, Junior, Let's start your answer off
- 59:16Speaker 13: and then I'm sure we'll have to finish it after
- 59:18Speaker 13: the break.
- 59:18Speaker 12: But yeah, no, I'm telling you right now, I don't
- 59:21Speaker 12: know what y'all talking about. You see, see, I don't
- 59:25Speaker 12: hear you playing no trips. He got all the money,
- 59:27Speaker 12: he making the trips. So what you need to do
- 59:29Speaker 12: is worry about your trip.
- 59:31Speaker 9: Uh huh.
- 59:32Speaker 12: Quit worry about everybody that's where they're going, what they're doing.
- 59:34Speaker 12: Worry about the ones Jamaica. See you over here, worried
- 59:38Speaker 12: about him going with his kids and his ex his
- 59:40Speaker 12: ex girlfriend on a trip. Well, worry about yours. Because
- 59:43Speaker 12: you're going to Jamaica. It's less people on your trip.
- 59:46Speaker 12: Look at the blessing, Look at the blessing. Look at
- 59:49Speaker 12: the blessing.
- 59:50Speaker 2: There's less people.
- 59:51Speaker 12: It's just you and him on your trip. Right see see,
- 59:54Speaker 12: ain't no kids on your trip. You over here worried
- 59:56Speaker 12: about him taking his kids. At least he tried to
- 59:58Speaker 12: be a father.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: I won't dog him. Forday, now you are about who
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: all go?
- 1:00:03Speaker 12: What he trying to be a father or younger? Love
- 1:00:07Speaker 12: him for who he taking on the trip?
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: With the keys? He got all three he's keys. He
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: got a hang I don't want to hang on.
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: Hang up?
- 1:00:16Speaker 13: Well that part two of our response to the Strawberry
- 1:00:19Speaker 13: Letter for today, at twenty three minutes after. The subject
- 1:00:22Speaker 13: is put up, her shut up because you're messed up.
- 1:00:24Speaker 13: We'll get it back into it right after this.
- 1:00:27Speaker 9: You're listening hard Morning show.
- 1:00:30Speaker 13: All right, we're gonna recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:00:34Speaker 13: is put up, her shut up, because you're messed up.
- 1:00:37Speaker 13: A young lady wrote in she's been dating a man
- 1:00:39Speaker 13: for three years. He has three children and an ex
- 1:00:43Speaker 13: girlfriend that he never married. So every summer they've been
- 1:00:47Speaker 13: going on a trip together, him, the ex girlfriend, and
- 1:00:51Speaker 13: the three kids, and he never takes his current girlfriend,
- 1:00:55Speaker 13: although she says he can certainly afford it, and all
- 1:00:58Speaker 13: of that to send her anywhere she wants to go.
- 1:01:01Speaker 9: He says that he will.
- 1:01:02Speaker 13: Take her on a quick trip after they get back,
- 1:01:04Speaker 13: and he says it's all about the kids, but she
- 1:01:07Speaker 13: can't go.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: So the young lady is upset.
- 1:01:10Speaker 13: She's saying when she confronted him with it, he said
- 1:01:13Speaker 13: he's not playing this game with her, and she's saying
- 1:01:16Speaker 13: he needs to put up her shut up because he
- 1:01:17Speaker 13: messed up there.
- 1:01:18Speaker 9: The title came from that.
- 1:01:20Speaker 13: She said, he's making her feel like the side chick,
- 1:01:23Speaker 13: and she wants to know is it normal for a
- 1:01:25Speaker 13: man to go on vacation with his ex for the
- 1:01:27Speaker 13: sake of his children?
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: And could she be overreacting?
- 1:01:31Speaker 9: Tommy and I said no. Junior said, what yes.
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: Your trip? Okay, No, you worried about the wrong trip.
- 1:01:38Speaker 12: Finally, a black man taking his children over vacation, you
- 1:01:41Speaker 12: worry about who are all going.
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: Finally we get a black man.
- 1:01:45Speaker 12: Doing something for his children and he all of a sudden,
- 1:01:47Speaker 12: you worried about who going over the trip.
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: He told you he gonna take you to Jamaica. Worry
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: about your trip? Okay, Now it's been three years they'd
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: be going to trip.
- 1:01:55Speaker 12: There's three years. There's three trips and there's three without you.
- 1:01:58Speaker 12: You about to make you four years to make a phone.
- 1:02:01Speaker 12: Now you're gonna sit up and ask that man daughter,
- 1:02:04Speaker 12: is your mama going on the trip?
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: And the Bible says out of the mouths of children,
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: the truth will come.
- 1:02:08Speaker 12: And she said yes, yeah, he just had Yes, is
- 1:02:14Speaker 12: your mama going? That little child, thirteen year old girl
- 1:02:17Speaker 12: said yes, she didn't lie to you.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: Everybody know they going on the trip.
- 1:02:20Speaker 12: But you're worried about the wrong trip. You going to Jamaica.
- 1:02:22Speaker 12: It's less people on your trip.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: But why can't you can't go taking her?
- 1:02:31Speaker 12: While the man, why are you worry about the girl
- 1:02:33Speaker 12: ex girlfriend going on the trip? Here the man taking
- 1:02:36Speaker 12: the three kids? About his children, I'm already talking about.
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: Black men don't do this black men. Finally we got
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: a black.
- 1:02:42Speaker 12: Man that rolle in on the letter. We finally he
- 1:02:44Speaker 12: taking his three kids on the trip. My daddy to
- 1:02:46Speaker 12: take my aunts on trips.
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: That's why that's flawed him out.
- 1:02:50Speaker 12: Okay, yeah, my daddy didn't take them on this many
- 1:02:52Speaker 12: damn trips. But that tippy didn't work one time.
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: We have another.
- 1:02:56Speaker 12: We have another family vacation ever ever got a black
- 1:02:59Speaker 12: man taking the kids on trips three years in a row,
- 1:03:02Speaker 12: three years he should be. Kid's been going and you
- 1:03:06Speaker 12: worry about you ain't going on the trip.
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: Let me tell you something.
- 1:03:08Speaker 12: The man said he's gonna take the Jamaica. Worry about
- 1:03:10Speaker 12: Jamaica on language together, She says, anywhere, Buma Clyde, get
- 1:03:18Speaker 12: all your stuff together, because you're going to Jamaica.
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: You worry about the wrong trip.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: Your dad never taking you, But we got a black
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: man doing it, and you worry about who are all going?
- 1:03:31Speaker 12: The ex girlfriend going. He had the babies with the
- 1:03:33Speaker 12: ex girlfriend. Somebody gotta watch these kids, three of them.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: You need two parents.
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: You need two parents, You need a mama.
- 1:03:42Speaker 11: Death all.
- 1:03:43Speaker 12: This is something he even doing. He already paying for
- 1:03:45Speaker 12: it now. The man said, when he get back, he
- 1:03:47Speaker 12: gonna take.
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: You to Jamaica. You're still mad.
- 1:03:49Speaker 12: I can't believe this. Y'all will see this. I can't
- 1:03:51Speaker 12: believe y'all met this black man for being a daddy,
- 1:03:54Speaker 12: for being a daddy, and y'all gonna just knock him.
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: Who are all going to?
- 1:03:58Speaker 6: Well?
- 1:03:59Speaker 12: Well, if he takes ex girlfriend and her mother on
- 1:04:01Speaker 12: the trip, why as you were you going to Jamaker.
- 1:04:05Speaker 13: But he but he said he would take her on
- 1:04:07Speaker 13: a quick ship and she said they haven't been anywhere.

- 1:07:00Speaker 12: but I'm just telling he being the dad, and it's
- 1:07:02Speaker 12: all I could tell y'all. Okay, Strawberry Letter bit, But
- 1:07:05Speaker 12: I'm telling you right now. This is this is really
- 1:07:07Speaker 12: great for sports and the Espe's. The espea'st was last week,
- 1:07:10Speaker 12: but Lebron James had a moment to talk and this
- 1:07:13Speaker 12: is really big because he's not retiring. And in his speech, man,
- 1:07:18Speaker 12: he says, the day that I can't play the game
- 1:07:20Speaker 12: and I have to cheat the game, that's the day
- 1:07:21Speaker 12: I retire. But he said, looking for y'all, that's not today.
- 1:07:24Speaker 12: And he the whole family up there with him, and
- 1:07:27Speaker 12: it was so good to see him actually express how
- 1:07:30Speaker 12: he felt because after he lost to the Denver Nuggets,
- 1:07:32Speaker 12: he said he don't know if he could do it anymore,
- 1:07:34Speaker 12: he said. He said, but that's just a moment that
- 1:07:36Speaker 12: he had after he lost got swept by the Denver Nuggets.
- 1:07:39Speaker 12: He just didn't feel like it and he just opened
- 1:07:41Speaker 12: his mouth. He said, I just talked. I said I
- 1:07:43Speaker 12: wanted to retire. I could possibly retire. But now at
- 1:07:46Speaker 12: the espece, he says, well, you know what, that day
- 1:07:47Speaker 12: ain't coming. But the day he cheats the game, when
- 1:07:50Speaker 12: he can't give it his all, is the day he's
- 1:07:51Speaker 12: gonna walk away. And may I respect Lebron James that man,
- 1:07:54Speaker 12: Because Lebron James, whether you believe he's the greatest player
- 1:07:56Speaker 12: or not, if he's better than Michael Jordan or not,
- 1:07:58Speaker 12: or all that time, he's a stand He's a stand
- 1:08:01Speaker 12: up guy.
- 1:08:01Speaker 11: Man.
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I love he's just a stand up guy.
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:08:06Speaker 9: He has a beautiful family, beautiful family.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: And love that black woman.
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: He mean, I'm talking out.
- 1:08:13Speaker 12: No drum, no t no nothing, and het it. I mean,
- 1:08:21Speaker 12: he's just a phenomenal person and a player. And then
- 1:08:24Speaker 12: you know, like the one thing about he said, you
- 1:08:25Speaker 12: don't want to retire because he believe does I think
- 1:08:27Speaker 12: he really does want to play with his.
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: Son in the NBA. I think he'll go to any
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: team that he wants to go to that his son
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: is playing.
- 1:08:33Speaker 10: I wouldn't play a whole season. I played by two
- 1:08:35Speaker 10: games and get on that whole season eighty something many
- 1:08:40Speaker 10: games in him. I say, he'll be forty years old
- 1:08:43Speaker 10: playing something. You can't play with two games with your saying,
- 1:08:45Speaker 10: y'all gonna get this on paper for you. We're gonna
- 1:08:47Speaker 10: do two games and that's coming.
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: Would you play baseball with Jordan in them? If you could?
- 1:08:53Speaker 10: Would you play with Jordan's one inning? That's it, one inning,
- 1:09:00Speaker 10: just one in with your son. Boy, that ball coming
- 1:09:02Speaker 10: nine and something mile one in and I'm.
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: Out, Daddy out.
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: Yeah, Man, what you do? I think that's just great, man.
- 1:09:14Speaker 12: And I just want to let Broun know, man, that
- 1:09:15Speaker 12: we love and appreciate what you do for the game
- 1:09:17Speaker 12: of basketball, man, and all your philanthropic work that you're doing.
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: Man, everything you're doing. Man, we appreciate you.
- 1:09:23Speaker 13: Man.
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: Man, you're the man, bro. And we just want to
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: give your flowers today.
- 1:09:27Speaker 10: Man.
- 1:09:27Speaker 12: That's all, brother, That's all I have for sports rugs.
- 1:09:30Speaker 12: We love you, Bronnie, h bron We love Bronnie.
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: We love you man.
- 1:09:33Speaker 12: You're a great father, a great husband, man, and a
- 1:09:36Speaker 12: great basketball player.
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: Hands down. You take your people on vacation too. You
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: take right right coming up and.
- 1:09:45Speaker 13: The tip of the hour, a man rode in because
- 1:09:47Speaker 13: he needs some advice on how to deal with his
- 1:09:49Speaker 13: wife's fans.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after that. You're listening.
- 1:09:55Speaker 9: Morning show.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:09:58Speaker 13: This is from CDUB and Columbia. See them says, I
- 1:10:01Speaker 13: married a woman that I that used to strip. She's
- 1:10:03Speaker 13: a local celebrity, especially with the men. I moved to
- 1:10:07Speaker 13: her town after we got married. And I'm a confident dude,
- 1:10:10Speaker 13: but I know women lie about how many men they
- 1:10:12Speaker 13: have been with. How do I keep my head up
- 1:10:14Speaker 13: when I think men are laughing at me behind my back?
- 1:10:17Speaker 13: I love this woman, So can I get past this?
- 1:10:21Speaker 10: You think you think they laughing at you behind your back?
- 1:10:26Speaker 10: You got you gotta start from the pole, dog. I mean,
- 1:10:30Speaker 10: the worst thing you did was move to her town.
- 1:10:33Speaker 10: I mean, if y'all gonna try to start something, y'all
- 1:10:35Speaker 10: need to be in another y'all need to pack up
- 1:10:36Speaker 10: and get a body there. Cause everybody know how erbout
- 1:10:40Speaker 10: erbody know her. So pack up, moved to another location
- 1:10:44Speaker 10: and start fresh. But now keep you down, keep down,
- 1:10:48Speaker 10: because she might slide back on over them. Just trying
- 1:10:50Speaker 10: to tell you just what surely as possible.
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: She might go back to stripping back.
- 1:10:57Speaker 10: Yeah, really, y'all like people, y'all like white people, don't
- 1:11:01Speaker 10: go back to the pole. What you're talking about, y'all
- 1:11:05Speaker 10: y'all looking at with with with this, with this odd
- 1:11:07Speaker 10: look like it came up.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: People leave upon and go back your life.
- 1:11:12Speaker 13: She's gotten married, she wants to settle down. Now that's
- 1:11:14Speaker 13: what it sounds like.
- 1:11:16Speaker 10: Okay, okay, cool, but we need to live in a
- 1:11:18Speaker 10: different town where everybody don't know my wife don't how
- 1:11:20Speaker 10: about that. I ain't gonna I'm not gonna be comfortable living.

- 1:11:29Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that's what's up.
- 1:11:30Speaker 9: That's what's up. Why would you move to her town anyway?
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: That was stupid?
- 1:11:35Speaker 10: Get out of there, back up, move somewhere else, start
- 1:11:37Speaker 10: a new life, and you're good. We nil going back
- 1:11:40Speaker 10: home and we're going to see her mama. Then we
- 1:11:42Speaker 10: ain't nil going back over there.
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: Now, what you got? What I feel?
- 1:11:46Speaker 11: It?

- 1:21:06Speaker 13: and we've been sharing my car. This is a big
- 1:21:09Speaker 13: problem for me because when I meet up with my
- 1:21:11Speaker 13: side dude, I have to make sure to erase any
- 1:21:14Speaker 13: traces of my side dude from the car. My husband
- 1:21:17Speaker 13: is too bullheaded and cheap to buy his own car.
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: So what should I do?

- 1:21:51Speaker 13: have a car, but she's got a side dude that
- 1:21:54Speaker 13: she's got to clean up after because he's in her
- 1:21:56Speaker 13: car because what he doesn't have a car.
- 1:21:57Speaker 10: Because he don't have a car. You your pickings is
- 1:22:01Speaker 10: real bad. You got you need to pick somebody with
