- 0:16Speaker 3: Bu bus things.
- 0:23Speaker 4: Ye listening to.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Show up to hand?
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join. Yeah, Joy, you want to do that?
- 1:01Speaker 1: Turn love, turn you turn to turn the mouth. Turn
- 1:43Speaker 1: you probably got.
- 1:44Speaker 5: To turn mouth, turn out, turn away the mono.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Come come on, you'll think, ah huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:06Speaker 2: dig me now one and only. Uh huh. Steve Harvey
- 2:09Speaker 2: Man got a radio show. Mm heah, I do.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Man.
- 2:16Speaker 2: God been so good to me over the years, in
- 2:18Speaker 2: spite of all the mistakes I've made, in spite of
- 2:22Speaker 2: all the dirt I've done to myself. I'm talking about
- 2:27Speaker 2: went in knowing I was wrong. His grace and mercy
- 2:32Speaker 2: has forgiven me for all of my sins. God can
- 2:37Speaker 2: forgive you of all of your sins, everything you've done,
- 2:42Speaker 2: God can forgive you. He can wipe your slate clean.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Now that might you might have some you know, things
- 2:49Speaker 2: you got to deal with because of some of your actions.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Understand that. But you can wipe your slates. You can
- 2:55Speaker 2: wipe your slate clean with God. And start again. You
- 2:59Speaker 2: can repent. God has mercy and grace. You could be
- 3:02Speaker 2: forgiven by God. Now people, AD's another story. Some people
- 3:06Speaker 2: may never forgive you for you've heard them, or or
- 3:09Speaker 2: maybe they accusing you of doing something else. But you
- 3:12Speaker 2: know they may never forgive you. But God, God is
- 3:16Speaker 2: in the redemption business man. God will forgive you for
- 3:20Speaker 2: every sin you've ever committed. But you gotta want forgiveness now,
- 3:24Speaker 2: and then you got to come correct because what you
- 3:27Speaker 2: can't do is you can't shoot him the crap. Now,
- 3:30Speaker 2: you can say that conversation with him. You know, whatever
- 3:33Speaker 2: you told your lawyer, whatever you told the victims, whatever
- 3:39Speaker 2: you told, whatever the story is you got going, if
- 3:42Speaker 2: it ain't the truth, you can say that with God,
- 3:45Speaker 2: because please know, he know, and he know your heart.
- 3:48Speaker 2: He know if you're trying to manipulate somebody just for
- 3:52Speaker 2: the system, if you're trying to say this just so
- 3:54Speaker 2: you can get out, He know all of that. So
- 3:56Speaker 2: if you're planning on shucking him and driving him, save
- 3:59Speaker 2: your breath before you wind up digging yourself in a
- 4:02Speaker 2: deeper hole. Just let me give you that piece of advice.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Because he ain't nothing to play with he's too great
- 4:08Speaker 2: to be played with. And so with that in mind,
- 4:11Speaker 2: I want to share some positive stuff with you this morning.
- 4:13Speaker 6: Man.
- 4:13Speaker 2: I want to say this. I want to remind you
- 4:17Speaker 2: not to let your circumstance and your situations dictate your
- 4:22Speaker 2: future or your results. I'm gonna say this again. This
- 4:26Speaker 2: is important information. Man. Don't let your circumstance and situations
- 4:33Speaker 2: dictate your future or your results. Do you know that
- 4:38Speaker 2: in order to get a different future or some different results,
- 4:43Speaker 2: you control that entire situation. It is you. It is
- 4:47Speaker 2: your thoughts that control the entire situation. It is how
- 4:51Speaker 2: you look at the situation that will determine how the
- 4:54Speaker 2: situation is for you. See, the same situation can be
- 4:59Speaker 2: totally different for two different people, because you can say
- 5:02Speaker 2: you look at the examples of history, just just look
- 5:05Speaker 2: look in your neighborhood. How can There was a book
- 5:08Speaker 2: that a guy wrote one time who had the name.
- 5:10Speaker 2: He had a name, and he did some research and
- 5:13Speaker 2: he found a god that grew up at the same
- 5:16Speaker 2: age in the same neighborhood as him, with the exact
- 5:20Speaker 2: same name. He went on to become a corporate CEO.
- 5:24Speaker 2: The other man was an inmate and they had the
- 5:31Speaker 2: same name, grew up in the same neighborhood. They were
- 5:35Speaker 2: both brothers, you know not I'm just saying brothers men.
- 5:39Speaker 2: And they grew and they went to differ. Because how
- 5:42Speaker 2: can two different, two people the same situation and the
- 5:46Speaker 2: results turn out so different. It is because of the
- 5:48Speaker 2: thought process of one was completely different from the thought
- 5:52Speaker 2: process of the other. You control it. You don't have
- 5:55Speaker 2: to let your circumstances and your situations dictate your future
- 5:59Speaker 2: or your results. Here's the way it works. This is
- 6:04Speaker 2: so you can understand this. Your mind is the controlling
- 6:08Speaker 2: factor of your thoughts. Your thoughts are the controlling factor
- 6:13Speaker 2: of your outcome. The Bible says a man is as
- 6:18Speaker 2: he thinketh. Please don't short play this scripture here, because
- 6:22Speaker 2: this one is the real deal. This is the basis
- 6:26Speaker 2: of every self improvement book you'll ever read. It's already
- 6:30Speaker 2: written in the Bible. The Bible has all the information
- 6:33Speaker 2: you need. But in case you need a little bit
- 6:35Speaker 2: of clarity in some simple modern day language, then they
- 6:38Speaker 2: have self improvement books. They are all based on Biblical scripture.
- 6:43Speaker 2: A man is as he thinketh. That's why Norman Vincent
- 6:46Speaker 2: Peale wrote the book The Power of positive thinking. That's
- 6:50Speaker 2: why a book came out called The Magic of Thinking Big.
- 6:54Speaker 2: That's why a book came out called Think and Grow
- 6:56Speaker 2: Rich by Napoleon Hell, all of you, All these titles
- 7:00Speaker 2: that I've read that have mattered in my life the most,
- 7:03Speaker 2: These three major books that I've read, they all say
- 7:06Speaker 2: one thing. Think thinking thoughts, because that's what controls the outcome.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Your brain works one of two ways. It works positive
- 7:20Speaker 2: or negative. It works good, which is under the column
- 7:25Speaker 2: of positive, or to work evil, which is under the
- 7:28Speaker 2: column of negative. It will have faith, which is under
- 7:32Speaker 2: the column of positive, or you will operate in fear,
- 7:37Speaker 2: which is in the column of negative. That is the
- 7:39Speaker 2: only way your mind works. Your mind is a factory
- 7:44Speaker 2: that's comprised of workers. Those workers are controlled by two foremans,
- 7:50Speaker 2: forming positive and forming negative. But guess what the CEO
- 7:55Speaker 2: of the company, the headman, the boss is you. You
- 8:00Speaker 2: come to work in the morning and you say, man,
- 8:04Speaker 2: today is a great day. I'm going to take steps
- 8:07Speaker 2: towards brightening my future. I'm going to take another step
- 8:11Speaker 2: into making that dream come true that I've been thinking about.
- 8:14Speaker 2: I'm gonna take another step forward in the development and
- 8:18Speaker 2: the changing of my life in a positive, good direction.
- 8:22Speaker 2: If you come to work and say that every day
- 8:24Speaker 2: as the CEO the boss, the foremans can only obey you.
- 8:29Speaker 2: So what you just said was a series of positive
- 8:32Speaker 2: statements then forming positive steps to the forefront. He said,
- 8:36Speaker 2: I got your boss right away. He turns around, He
- 8:39Speaker 2: blows the whistle sh He alerts all the workers in
- 8:43Speaker 2: the factory. Today is a good day. Today we will
- 8:46Speaker 2: take steps towards our future. Today we are putting ourselves
- 8:50Speaker 2: on track to get a little bit closer to making
- 8:52Speaker 2: our dreams come true. Today we will be assembling all
- 8:56Speaker 2: the things we need to make our dreams come true
- 8:59Speaker 2: in our life better in the right direction. Everybody break.
- 9:03Speaker 2: The workers in the factory turn around and manufacture thoughts
- 9:08Speaker 2: to justify the orders given by the boss, which is you.
- 9:14Speaker 2: You are the CEO of your corporation. If you don't
- 9:17Speaker 2: own nothing else, you own everything that's going on between
- 9:21Speaker 2: your two ears. You are the CEO of that corporation.
- 9:25Speaker 2: If that corporation is a good one, it's because you
- 9:28Speaker 2: set it up that way. If your corporation is a
- 9:30Speaker 2: bad one, it's because you set it up that day.
- 9:33Speaker 2: If you try and if you pushing towards your dreams
- 9:36Speaker 2: and you see the possibility of things happening in your
- 9:38Speaker 2: life is because you, as the CEO, set it up
- 9:41Speaker 2: that way. If you ain't got nothing popping, if you
- 9:44Speaker 2: just want to be a criminal taking stuff from people,
- 9:46Speaker 2: throwing your life out the window, you're gonna be an inmate.
- 9:49Speaker 2: You're gonna be sitting there there and you're gonna be
- 9:50Speaker 2: mad at everybody. You got nobody be mad at. But
- 9:53Speaker 2: you you understand what I'm telling you this morning? Uh huh.
- 9:57Speaker 7: You're listening.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Morning, ladies and gentlemen. The time is here to Steve
- 10:04Speaker 2: Harvey Martin show is on it. Poppet, listen to me.
- 10:07Speaker 2: I've said it before, I'm gonna say it again. This
- 10:10Speaker 2: is a blessing. Now. Please don't overlook it. If you
- 10:15Speaker 2: got up this morning, if you've already missed it, it
- 10:17Speaker 2: ain't too late to say thank you. Gratitude affects your attitude,
- 10:23Speaker 2: which is in direct correlation with your altitude. It's all
- 10:27Speaker 2: tied together. If you don't believe me, I dare you
- 10:30Speaker 2: to try it. I dare you to start your day
- 10:33Speaker 2: with just thanking him for everything he's done for you.
- 10:37Speaker 2: It's amazing. The list is crazy if you if you
- 10:43Speaker 2: really focus on it, the list is crazy. Yeah, it
- 10:46Speaker 2: is Steve Harvey, Martin Show, Shelly Strawberry calling for real Mississippi,
- 10:50Speaker 2: Monica Junior, and the legend that is Nephew Tommy Well Jr.
- 10:54Speaker 2: I ain't had a time to look at you close
- 10:56Speaker 2: this morning, but it's fifty to fifty you know. Well,
- 11:01Speaker 2: you know when your eyes squid, that means you ain't
- 11:05Speaker 2: had rest.
- 11:07Speaker 7: Now, when you ain't.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Had rest, that's usually from concern.
- 11:11Speaker 1: No, here you go.
- 11:13Speaker 8: Let me let me ask you because my anniversary coming up.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Okay, now, which one? This number two? About? Now? That
- 11:22Speaker 2: is number two? Three?
- 11:24Speaker 9: Let me let me ask you this now? Is is
- 11:28Speaker 9: the same effort that I went into one? Gotta go
- 11:31Speaker 9: into two or the more?
- 11:33Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 11:34Speaker 7: You have to ask, Yeah, you have to.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Ask, sir, So let me ask you question. Man. I
- 11:40Speaker 2: thought you thought you was gonna take a little drop
- 11:42Speaker 2: off right.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Now, ain't we?
- 11:48Speaker 2: Yeah? There you go that that the attitude as the
- 11:51Speaker 2: attitude gonna get your ass in trouble right there?
- 11:54Speaker 1: We in it?
- 11:55Speaker 6: Now?
- 11:56Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 11:57Speaker 2: Have you bought anything?
- 12:00Speaker 6: Well?
- 12:00Speaker 1: No, not ship.
- 12:01Speaker 2: You know, I'm thinking about it.
- 12:02Speaker 8: I'm thinking about.
- 12:05Speaker 3: Here.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Ain't bought nothing because I just ask you'll first a
- 12:09Speaker 2: minute ago.
- 12:09Speaker 1: He didn't think he had to.

- 14:10Speaker 3: This is coach Watkins up at the up at the school.
- 14:13Speaker 12: How are you, hey, Coach Watkins?
- 14:15Speaker 3: I'm fine. What can I do for you? Listen, We've
- 14:18Speaker 3: had maleak out for the last week and a half.
- 14:21Speaker 3: He's been coming to practice here at the Junior High
- 14:24Speaker 3: School and wanted to reach out and give you a
- 14:27Speaker 3: call about everything that's going on.
- 14:28Speaker 12: Oh yeah, well, I know he's really excited. He can't
- 14:31Speaker 12: wait to start the seasons. He's ready walking all somewhere.
- 14:35Speaker 3: You know what, I'll be honest with you. He's a
- 14:37Speaker 3: great kid, and he's got a good heart, and he's
- 14:41Speaker 3: really really really trying and trying to produce as much
- 14:44Speaker 3: as possible.
- 14:45Speaker 12: Well, you know, he loves the game. And he's been playing.
- 14:47Speaker 11: Since he was a little kid.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, you know, this is you know, this is
- 14:52Speaker 3: the seventh grade. This is the first time some of
- 14:55Speaker 3: these kids have played organized football, and this is the
- 14:58Speaker 3: first time playing school for the ball, and it's it's
- 15:01Speaker 3: a big it's a big transition that if you've been
- 15:03Speaker 3: playing Little league ball or Pop Warner or whatever you
- 15:06Speaker 3: want to call it, it's a it's a big difference,
- 15:08Speaker 3: in a big transition to go from one to the other.
- 15:11Speaker 3: You understand, Yeah, I do understand.
- 15:13Speaker 12: But Malik is been working really hard, yes, and he's ready.
- 15:16Speaker 3: Well well, well let me let me say this. My
- 15:18Speaker 3: main reason for calling you is letting you know that
- 15:20Speaker 3: league as of right now is not going to be
- 15:24Speaker 3: able to make the cut as far as what you think, Well,
- 15:29Speaker 3: he's not going to be able to make the cut
- 15:31Speaker 3: as far as being on the team for this year.
- 15:33Speaker 11: Now, I got you said. Wait, you said that Malik
- 15:39Speaker 11: is not gonna be able to make the team. You
- 15:41Speaker 11: talk about the team.
- 15:44Speaker 3: It's a great kid, you.
- 15:45Speaker 11: Know, he's a great you know, he's a great kid.
- 15:47Speaker 11: But now he didn't play Pop Warner and he was
- 15:51Speaker 11: a fun quarterback, So what are you talking about? He's
- 15:53Speaker 11: not gonna make the team this year. He was the
- 15:55Speaker 11: best they had out.
- 15:56Speaker 3: On that squad. Okay, and you know what, I've heard
- 15:59Speaker 3: a lot about it. I heard he did a great job.
- 16:01Speaker 11: Heard about him. Wait a minute, what man, have you
- 16:03Speaker 11: seen his chat? Twenty touchdowns in the season?
- 16:07Speaker 3: Idertand what are the kids is out there doing that?
- 16:09Speaker 3: But you know what, but right now, we got a
- 16:11Speaker 3: lot of different kids that are coming into this particular school,
- 16:14Speaker 3: so you know, the competition has gone greater and greater
- 16:17Speaker 3: than what we could possibly understand.
- 16:19Speaker 12: Wait a minute, Witte, this is seventh grade. First of all,
- 16:22Speaker 12: everybody makes the team. Nobody gets cut in the first place.
- 16:25Speaker 11: You got an A team and a B team, So
- 16:28Speaker 11: you're telling me my baby ain't made.
- 16:29Speaker 3: None of them teams? Right right now, mss lydia. Uh.
- 16:33Speaker 3: You know, like I said, Milika is a great kid.
- 16:36Speaker 3: I like it.
- 16:37Speaker 11: I know what Milik is.
- 16:38Speaker 12: I know that he's a great kid and he's a ballplayer.
- 16:41Speaker 11: Now I make sure that. So don't come telling me
- 16:43Speaker 11: that he's not good enough to make the cut on
- 16:46Speaker 11: this seventh grade team. Well come telling me who who
- 16:49Speaker 11: is the quarterback? Who? Yeah, you tell me what's going on?
- 16:51Speaker 11: Who is the quarterback?
- 16:53Speaker 3: Well, actually, right now, my son is the quarterback. Your son, well,
- 16:58Speaker 3: I mean you know, yeah, that is actually the quarterback.
- 17:04Speaker 3: He hasn't done any Pop Warner or anything, but he
- 17:07Speaker 3: really has what it takes to be never played.
- 17:10Speaker 11: Football before, or he's never played organized football, but he
- 17:15Speaker 11: he's gonna be the quarterback for the seventh grade team.
- 17:17Speaker 3: Is that what you're telling me? Well, yeah, my son
- 17:19Speaker 3: is actually a starting quarterback, but that.
- 17:23Speaker 11: My son don't make the teach and my son score
- 17:26Speaker 11: twenty touchdown? Twenty touchdown? Is that what you're telling me?
- 17:30Speaker 3: Oh?
- 17:30Speaker 11: Hell no, this is I'm calling up to that school tomorrow.
- 17:33Speaker 11: I will be up there tomorrow.
- 17:36Speaker 3: Let me explain something.
- 17:38Speaker 11: Say no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no no no,
- 17:41Speaker 11: I don't know what this is. It's nepotism or whatever
- 17:44Speaker 11: you got.
- 17:44Speaker 13: Going on around here.
- 17:46Speaker 11: But hell no, my son ain't Nathan. Hell no, it's
- 17:51Speaker 11: gonna be smoking the city tomorrow when I get up there, Lydia.
- 17:55Speaker 3: What I want to say this is this, if your
- 17:58Speaker 3: son would take a year off, Lord and try to
- 18:00Speaker 3: get itself together and get his fundamentals together together, a
- 18:06Speaker 3: greater football player when he gets to be headed to
- 18:09Speaker 3: the eighth grade.
- 18:09Speaker 11: He was the wrong this saw last year? What is
- 18:11Speaker 11: going about this fundamental together? Your son ain't never even played,
- 18:15Speaker 11: but you know.
- 18:15Speaker 3: What, I've worked with my son and you know, and
- 18:18Speaker 3: it's a little it's a little awkward for me to
- 18:20Speaker 3: try to talk about what my.
- 18:22Speaker 11: Son has done from the house you're talking about because
- 18:25Speaker 11: you don't know what your son has done, because ain't
- 18:26Speaker 11: nobody ever seen your ton. You just got this dream
- 18:29Speaker 11: probably something that you ain't did you want to live
- 18:32Speaker 11: vicency through him? Hell no, that's about it.
- 18:35Speaker 3: I don't like all in school. I played in high school.
- 18:38Speaker 11: And let me say this, I'm.
- 18:40Speaker 3: Trying to do the best that I can and the
- 18:42Speaker 3: best of my ability to make sure that everybody gets
- 18:45Speaker 3: a good and fair shot at what's going on.
- 18:47Speaker 11: I said, well not but he but he don't get
- 18:49Speaker 11: to play. So what about getting Oh.
- 18:51Speaker 3: That I get the probably even work out to be
- 18:54Speaker 3: a better some burgle.
- 18:56Speaker 11: Turn that to the mother mothers.
- 18:57Speaker 3: That's some boy.
- 18:58Speaker 11: I bet you I get see you this my gonna
- 19:00Speaker 11: be starting this year. I guarantee you this. You don't
- 19:02Speaker 11: want none of that?
- 19:03Speaker 3: Okay, right now, all I can say is I need

- 31:16Speaker 2: people just like I talk to regular people. Like I'm
- 31:19Speaker 2: on the radio. I've been talking to government people.

- 31:33Speaker 8: You know, compared.
- 31:38Speaker 10: You're authentic.
- 31:41Speaker 2: And I'm not finn play those games. I'm not going

- 31:45Speaker 2: I know I know more than I know because I'm
- 31:47Speaker 2: not signing this paper with them. Well, comparatively speaking, Well,

- 31:55Speaker 10: Who That's why people love you because you keep it.
- 32:02Speaker 10: That's it yourself.
- 32:04Speaker 2: Yeah, so we ain't gonna never see you at the

- 32:13Speaker 10: You can come up there, go there, there's no issues.
- 32:17Speaker 2: I would you go there, but I'd be in the crowd.

- 34:24Speaker 2: you know, we talk. You know, your method of dealing
- 34:27Speaker 2: with stuff is not my method. But you got to
- 34:29Speaker 2: do what works for you. You know who am. I
- 34:31Speaker 2: don't have bot you know, I don't have a record
- 34:33Speaker 2: book on how to cope. Yeah, you know, everybody's coping

- 36:30Speaker 4: From when President Barack Obama was in office and all
- 36:33Speaker 4: of the issues that he had because the Senate was
- 36:36Speaker 4: not willing to work with him.

- 37:23Speaker 5: make sure she has a good house and senate to
- 37:26Speaker 5: work with.
- 37:27Speaker 8: Okay, don't, don't, don't Gomala, don't go into the pole.
- 37:32Speaker 6: Don't go into the pole booth trying to figure out
- 37:34Speaker 6: if the last name makes sense to you who that's Johnson?
- 37:38Speaker 2: It's not that Johnson? That is that who? I think?
- 37:41Speaker 2: You gotta really go do your homeworks and you'll know
- 37:44Speaker 2: exactly when you go in there. You know who?
- 37:45Speaker 10: Yes, yes, have a plan for sure.
- 37:49Speaker 2: Now who is Nelson?
- 37:51Speaker 5: Who is coming up in twenty four minutes after the hour,
- 37:55Speaker 5: Judge Matthis vows to win back his wife after she's
- 37:58Speaker 5: filed for divorce after thirty nine years of marriage.
- 38:01Speaker 10: We'll talk about love, marriage and divorce right after this.
- 38:04Speaker 10: You're listening stream.
- 38:06Speaker 7: Hardy Morning Show.
- 38:08Speaker 5: All right, So, Judge Mathis was approached by TMZ at
- 38:11Speaker 5: the airport and he opened up about how he's doing
- 38:14Speaker 5: after his wife, Linda, who he's been married to for
- 38:17Speaker 5: thirty nine years, filed for a divorce on August twenty second.
- 38:22Speaker 5: He said he doesn't want a divorce, and he went
- 38:25Speaker 5: on to say, don't neglect your wife.
- 38:28Speaker 10: And that's a quote. Take a listen.
- 38:30Speaker 14: I'm not holding up very well, I would say the
- 38:34Speaker 14: other man. Maybe I'll be an example for other man.
- 38:37Speaker 14: Cautionary tale, to neglect your wife. See, I'm here at
- 38:43Speaker 14: the airport now, flying out as I have for forty
- 38:46Speaker 14: or four, twenty five years. My wife has been third,
- 38:51Speaker 14: serving the community, taping my show, having fun with friends.
- 38:57Speaker 2: That's what happens. Guys.
- 38:58Speaker 14: Never be too busy or never have too much fun
- 39:01Speaker 14: beyond your life.
- 39:03Speaker 2: Wow, wow, mam, cautionary tale. Yeah, third, third is hard
- 39:10Speaker 2: for them. Yeah, I love it. They'll do seconds sometimes
- 39:19Speaker 2: not to another person for your job. Yeah, yeah, they'll
- 39:24Speaker 2: do second because they know that job is the provision
- 39:27Speaker 2: for the whole thing. But as long as your woman
- 39:31Speaker 2: understands that this job is for us and for the
- 39:35Speaker 2: betterment and upholding, they'll be second to that.
- 39:39Speaker 6: And you can still but right after that, yeah, yeah,
- 39:42Speaker 6: that that entertainment thing though, Man, that that's just.
- 39:48Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm just think, what are you saying?
- 39:54Speaker 6: We wait, No, I'm just saying this the entertainment business period,
- 39:59Speaker 6: and your wife falls in that, and and how you
- 40:02Speaker 6: need to be a better husband to make sure that
- 40:05Speaker 6: she is that she knows she's in the position that
- 40:09Speaker 6: you know this.
- 40:10Speaker 2: You have to be.
- 40:15Speaker 10: A priority sense.
- 40:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, but I would I would say entertainment, sports,
- 40:21Speaker 2: every fame is not conducive to marriage. It's just not
- 40:28Speaker 2: because even if something happens to famous people, they don't
- 40:33Speaker 2: get to heal in pride. All their dirty laundry is
- 40:39Speaker 2: out in the air, everybody coming. And so even if
- 40:41Speaker 2: you going along in your day trying to be okay
- 40:45Speaker 2: with something, girl, I can't believe he did that to you. Now, now,
- 40:50Speaker 2: you're back in the hole again. Sometimes you because public
- 40:54Speaker 2: won't let you. But that person, Steve, that that friend
- 40:59Speaker 2: that's the one that ruined at all.
- 41:00Speaker 6: That that friend that that want to give her two
- 41:03Speaker 6: cents who ain't got Well, that's true, that's true, that friend.
- 41:08Speaker 2: But also we live in the world now where it
- 41:10Speaker 2: ain't even about your friend. Social media. Social media can
- 41:17Speaker 2: create a tornado in your life, like you won't believe, man,
- 41:22Speaker 2: And you just have to have a very strong two
- 41:24Speaker 2: handed circle to life.
- 41:27Speaker 6: Right.
- 41:28Speaker 4: It sounds like Judge Matthews is admitting to disregarding his
- 41:33Speaker 4: wife a whole need. Yeah, and he's hopeful. He wants
- 41:38Speaker 4: to work on it. It sounds like, and and get
- 41:41Speaker 4: it back on track. He wants his wife back. So
- 41:44Speaker 4: that's good news.
- 41:45Speaker 2: I mean, but a man like that can do that,
- 41:47Speaker 2: you know, he can do that provided that that that
- 41:52Speaker 2: line he said, now that y'all have to pay attention
- 41:55Speaker 2: to it. He said, your job all that he say,
- 42:00Speaker 2: fun with friends?
- 42:02Speaker 10: Yeah, having time with your friends, fun with your friends, right.
- 42:05Speaker 2: Got make sure we talking about that fraud who is this? Yeah,
- 42:13Speaker 2: that's all you got to do, you know, because I
- 42:16Speaker 2: know Judge matthis solid ass dude. Man. Yeah, that brother
- 42:21Speaker 2: has helped me in some dog dark moments. Man. Every
- 42:26Speaker 2: time he saw me under attack, he has called text
- 42:29Speaker 2: me with some form of advice. I mean he watched
- 42:33Speaker 2: one night somebody do something to me and and he
- 42:35Speaker 2: the biggest advice I ever got from anybody. He says, Steve,
- 42:39Speaker 2: get out of here. You can't be big and small
- 42:41Speaker 2: at the same time, said Judge Matthis told me that
- 42:47Speaker 2: I can't be big and small at the same time.
- 42:49Speaker 2: You're getting up out of here. And I got up
- 42:51Speaker 2: out of that and that and that and that saved
- 42:53Speaker 2: me all right.
- 42:55Speaker 5: Coming up next and is the nephew with today's frank
- 42:58Speaker 5: phone call right after you're listening morning show coming up

- 52:58Speaker 10: Thank you, nephew.
- 52:59Speaker 5: Subject too much going on to get it on. Dear
- 53:02Speaker 5: Stephen Shirley, I just moved to the city that my
- 53:04Speaker 5: boyfriend lives in, and he wants me to move in
- 53:07Speaker 5: with him, but I'm not sure it's the right thing
- 53:10Speaker 5: to do. I'm living with my aunt and uncle temporarily,
- 53:13Speaker 5: so my boyfriend doesn't feel right staying overnight at their house,
- 53:17Speaker 5: and quite frankly, I don't think they would allow it anyway,
- 53:20Speaker 5: So I've been staying at his house for three weeks.
- 53:24Speaker 5: He services vehicles and washes cars at his house, so
- 53:27Speaker 5: men are always hanging out in the yard. He also
- 53:31Speaker 5: has a cousin that's his age living with him. I
- 53:35Speaker 5: cannot really tell what's wrong with him, and I don't
- 53:37Speaker 5: want to be rude and ask, but I.
- 53:39Speaker 10: Can see that it's something.
- 53:41Speaker 5: He is always yelling at the TV in his room,
- 53:44Speaker 5: so I usually walk by and close the door whenever
- 53:47Speaker 5: I can. Then his older uncles come by and sit around.
- 53:52Speaker 5: They came over every night for the Olympics and stay
- 53:55Speaker 5: till like two am. I had to go to work
- 53:57Speaker 5: the next day, but it was too loud to sleepep.
- 54:00Speaker 5: My boyfriend is a hard worker and he comes to
- 54:03Speaker 5: bed smelling like it. There's no amount of soap that
- 54:06Speaker 5: can get the smell off of him, so I had
- 54:09Speaker 5: to take what I can get. When it comes to
- 54:11Speaker 5: being intimate, he smells like an oil can usually, and
- 54:15Speaker 5: it wasn't that bad before I started stating with him.
- 54:18Speaker 5: Maybe the smell is stuck in my head. We were
- 54:21Speaker 5: trying to get it on Saturday night and his uncle
- 54:24Speaker 5: stopped by. Mind you, it was one am and the
- 54:28Speaker 5: house was completely dark. My boyfriend's cousin let the uncle in.
- 54:33Speaker 5: His uncle opened up our bedroom door to ask if
- 54:35Speaker 5: we were sleep I was unclothed and in a certain
- 54:39Speaker 5: position that his uncle said he'd never forget. Now I'm
- 54:43Speaker 5: too embarrassed to ever see that man again. My boyfriend
- 54:47Speaker 5: has got too much going on to get it on.
- 54:50Speaker 5: Would I be making a big mistake to move in
- 54:52Speaker 5: or to even keep dating him?
- 54:55Speaker 7: Oh?
- 54:55Speaker 10: This is too much.
- 54:56Speaker 7: You're right.
- 54:57Speaker 5: I can't even believe you're considering moving in with him.
- 55:01Speaker 5: There's no peace in this house. People have no respect
- 55:04Speaker 5: for him, for his time or for you. And what
- 55:07Speaker 5: are they coming over at anytime of the day and
- 55:09Speaker 5: night for it? Anyway, one o'clock in the morning and
- 55:12Speaker 5: just opening up your bedroom door. Nothing is that important
- 55:15Speaker 5: that it can't wait until a decent hour the next day.
- 55:19Speaker 5: And please don't try to fool yourself into thinking it
- 55:21Speaker 5: will get better once you move in and all that,
- 55:24Speaker 5: because it won't.
- 55:25Speaker 10: This is about as good as it's going to get.
- 55:28Speaker 10: It's happening now, so it's going to happen.
- 55:30Speaker 2: Then, this is it.
- 55:31Speaker 10: And the smell coming from his body, what is that?
- 55:35Speaker 7: You said?
- 55:35Speaker 10: It smells like an oil can and no amount of
- 55:38Speaker 10: soap can get it out. That's what you said? And
- 55:41Speaker 10: you guess you have to take what you can get
- 55:43Speaker 10: when you're intimate.
- 55:45Speaker 7: No, you don't.
- 55:46Speaker 10: You don't have to deal with that.
- 55:48Speaker 5: He needs a stronger soap, for sure, he needs everything
- 55:53Speaker 5: in that house to be washed, because it's probably all
- 55:56Speaker 5: smelling like the oil can. But I don't think you're
- 55:58Speaker 5: gonna have to worry about any that because I don't
- 56:00Speaker 5: think this is a good match for you. It's too
- 56:02Speaker 5: much stuff going wrong here. He can't stay with you
- 56:05Speaker 5: at your aunt, at your aunt and uncle's house, and
- 56:08Speaker 5: you definitely can't stay with him because of all that's
- 56:11Speaker 5: going on.
- 56:11Speaker 10: And you're right, it's too much going on in this
- 56:13Speaker 10: house for you, and he doesn't get it.
- 56:15Speaker 2: Steve, Well, I know exactly what's going on in the
- 56:22Speaker 2: crib and all this here. But the problem in this
- 56:27Speaker 2: letter is there's only one redeeming quality in this letter
- 56:36Speaker 2: from your standpoint, not from mine, but from the writer
- 56:39Speaker 2: of this letter. And the only redeeming quality is he's
- 56:43Speaker 2: a hard worker. He hustled. Hats off to you, my
- 56:48Speaker 2: brother waiting to put it in. Here's your problem. It's
- 56:54Speaker 2: not that they're coming over that Shirley and they're being disrespectful.
- 56:58Speaker 2: Is this how his house been running for all this time,
- 57:02Speaker 2: because it's because it's the bachelor crib. This the boy
- 57:06Speaker 2: this the frat house, This the hangout spot. He fixed
- 57:11Speaker 2: vehicles and detailed cars in his yard. He smell like
- 57:16Speaker 2: all can you got so many things you're trying to
- 57:22Speaker 2: fight off in this damn letter. Okay, your boyfriend. First
- 57:27Speaker 2: of all, he live out of town, so he wanted
- 57:29Speaker 2: you to move in with him. You you well, you
- 57:32Speaker 2: moved to the city that your boyfriend live in, so
- 57:36Speaker 2: obviously y'all had y'all have something going on. But you
- 57:40Speaker 2: staying with your aunt and uncle and your boyfriend don't
- 57:44Speaker 2: feel right staying overnight at their house. And but you said,
- 57:48Speaker 2: I don't think they would allow it anyway. Now, Hill, Now,
- 57:51Speaker 2: ain't ain't nobody finna do that. Ain't another man finna
- 57:56Speaker 2: let you you stay in this house, you the niece.
- 57:59Speaker 2: But here come your boyfriend spend the night in his house,
- 58:01Speaker 2: And ain't that man. Ain't finna go for that anyway.
- 58:06Speaker 2: So you've been staying at his house for three weeks.
- 58:10Speaker 2: And like you say, he served his cars and he
- 58:12Speaker 2: washed cars in his house. So men always hanging out
- 58:17Speaker 2: in the yard. He got to hear the part of
- 58:20Speaker 2: the letter surely didn't touch on he got a cousin
- 58:22Speaker 2: that's his age living with him. I really can't tell
- 58:26Speaker 2: what's wrong with him. I don't want to be rude
- 58:28Speaker 2: and ask you. Got to find out what's wrong with him?
- 58:31Speaker 7: Is at save that for you?
- 58:35Speaker 2: Something is the matter with that grown ass husband that
- 58:42Speaker 2: you think is something wrong because he always yelling at
- 58:46Speaker 2: the TV in his room. Now, when we come back,
- 58:50Speaker 2: I'm gonna deal with his cousin and I'm gonna tell
- 58:54Speaker 2: you what you need to do about this. All can smell,
- 58:57Speaker 2: But I think the most important part in this letter
- 58:59Speaker 2: to me right now is what's wrong with that damn cuz.
- 59:04Speaker 10: Okay, coming up, we'll have part two.
- 59:07Speaker 5: Some crazy man's response at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 59:14Speaker 10: Today's Strawberry letter. Subject is it's too much going on.
- 59:17Speaker 7: To get it on.
- 59:19Speaker 10: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening.
- 59:24Speaker 5: Morning show, All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's
- 59:27Speaker 5: strubberry Strawberry letter.
- 59:29Speaker 10: The subject is it's too much going on to get
- 59:31Speaker 10: it on.
- 59:33Speaker 2: Well, there's a woman that moved into the city that
- 59:35Speaker 2: her boyfriend live in, and she moved in with her
- 59:38Speaker 2: uncle and her boyfriend don't feel comfortable spending the night
- 59:41Speaker 2: over there, and she says frankly, I don't think my
- 59:44Speaker 2: aunt and uncle would allow that. I don't either, So
- 59:47Speaker 2: she's been staying at her boyfriend's house for three weeks.
- 59:50Speaker 2: The saving grace in this letter. Brother is a hustler.
- 59:53Speaker 2: He's a hard worker, work with his hands. He got
- 59:55Speaker 2: a manly job, he earning a living. He doing good.
- 59:59Speaker 2: He fixed vehicles and detailed wash cars in his yard.
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: So it's men always hanging around. She been staying at
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: the house for three weeks right now. And he also
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: has a cousin that's his age living with him. I
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: cannot really tell what's wrong with him, and I don't
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: want to be rude and ass but I can see
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: that it's something. He is always yelling at the TV
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: in his room. All right, So let's deal with this, Cuzin,
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: I'm gonna just be honest with you right now. If
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: he the same age as your boyfriend, but something wrong
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: with him, but you can't tell because he always in
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: the room yelling at his TV. And then you say so,
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: I usually walk by and close his door whenever I
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: can now if he don't stop you from closing that door.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: It's because he don't know you doing it.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: So now.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: We got another problem. So now she don't say he
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: talked back to the TV. He yelling at the What
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: see this is what you're here? Uh uh, don't stop me.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: I'm just She's just, she said. He's yelling at the TV.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: And all I know is everybody no, no, then, ain't
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: what she said. She said, he yelling at Tom. You know,
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: come on now, if I hear this up the hallway
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: and your ass has farted just like my boyfriend is.
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: You ain't outside helping with the cars. You ain't fixing
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: no vehicle. You just stay at the house. I can
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: tell something wrong with him, but I don't want to
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: be rudeing ass. You need to ask what is wrong
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: with a little knuck nuck because every time I come
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: by his dog.
- 1:02:09Speaker 10: To find huh. Have you never yelled at a game
- 1:02:14Speaker 10: while a game is on or something? You do that
- 1:02:16Speaker 10: with words?
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: Not yeah, hello, come on man? Yes, oh hell no,
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: That's what I'm talking about. Juke move, joke move, oh
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: that stuff I say when I'm watching the game. I
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: don't know, she's saying, he be yelling I'm telling you,
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: I said, y'all always want to be extra Christian on
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: these lefts.
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: I'm in.
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: You got to get the hell out of this house
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: because you're gonna mess around and get bit. I'm gonna
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: tell you right now, when you walk in in and
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: bite your ass out of know where, you're gonna wish
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: you had left that house. I'm talking about a dog bite.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: I'm talking about latch onto your foe arm where you
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: can't shake him off, that type of thing. So are
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: you usually walk by and close this door whenever I can.
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: You need to put a lock on it. You need
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: to change his door from the outside. Then there's older
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: uncles come by and sit around. They come over. Came
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: over every night for the Olympics and stayed at like
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: two am. I had to go to work the next day,
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: but it was too loud to sleep. My boyfriend is
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: a hard work. He come to bed smelling like it.
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: There's no amount of soap that can get the smell
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: off of him, so I have to take what I
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: can get. When it comes to being intimate, he smells
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: like an a an all oil can and usually and
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: it wasn't that bad for I started staying with him.
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: Maybe the smell is stuck in my head. We was
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: trying to get it on Saturday night and his uncle
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: stopped by. Mind you, was one am in the house,
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: completely dark. My boyfriend and cousin let us uncle lim.
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: My uncle opened a bedroom door and asked if we
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: were sleep. I was unclothed and in a certain position
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: that his uncle said he'd never forget. Now you're in
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: here traumatizing old lass people. What position was she in?
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: You got a boy up the hallway. It's the same
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: age as your boyfriend in here hollering at the TV.
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: And she didn't even say the TV was on? See
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: you what y'all? What y'all not paying attention to?
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: He'd be in that.
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: Yelling at the damn TV. She ain't even saying it
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: was on. I'm telling y'all, you got to get the
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: hell out of this house. Now you got your uncle
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: in here talking about He saw you in the position.
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: He'll never forget the hell was you doing? Why his
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: old ass ain't seen that position before? Well, let me
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: tell you something. That all the smell is in the house.
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: It's on the frontiture, it's on the other people are
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: sitting around and they ain't no telling what that boy
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: in that room, that don't nobody know what's wrong with him.
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: He got some all in that doing something. He got
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: a he got he got a whole care of w
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: D faulty and he walking around that house. I'm telling
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: you got a lot to do with him. Let me
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: tell you something. All them smells is in the sheets
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: and everything. You'd have made a damn mistake. Your ass
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: need to move back to the city you came from,
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: cause I'm telling you get out that house because that uncle,
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: every time he looking at you, he got his tongue
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: out his mouth. And that boy on the hall post
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: to find out what's wrong with that boy up that hall.

- 1:06:54Speaker 9: gonna be all right. You go down Uns, you went
- 1:06:58Speaker 9: down to USC and man, that was a shocker. Didn't
- 1:07:03Speaker 9: nobody see that. I didn't see that happening both, hey.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: Unless you saw it.
- 1:07:07Speaker 9: Yeah, I saw it if you see it coming, because
- 1:07:09Speaker 9: they asked everybody picked up as you to win that game.
- 1:07:12Speaker 9: And then you know what else called I haven't heard
- 1:07:13Speaker 9: about this too, the labor, the lord. We lost a tissue.
- 1:07:19Speaker 9: We had won nine straight years. Now we just lost
- 1:07:23Speaker 9: twenty seven to nine. Devastating, devastating that when you lose
- 1:07:29Speaker 9: twenty seventy now, you know, you know you start losing
- 1:07:31Speaker 9: that bad time. You know, you start getting up washing clothes,
- 1:07:33Speaker 9: trying to wash together. You gotta find something else to do.
- 1:07:36Speaker 9: Just can't sit there and watch.
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: Us lose like this.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: Throw on.
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: I was doing.
- 1:07:40Speaker 8: Dishes, everything, everything but watching the game.
- 1:07:46Speaker 6: But you know what, you know what, Junior, I will
- 1:07:48Speaker 6: say this for the brother that's the head coach at
- 1:07:51Speaker 6: Notre Dame. I ain't mad at your brother. You be
- 1:07:54Speaker 6: Texas a and M I am not mad at you
- 1:07:57Speaker 6: for getting your w and man.
- 1:07:59Speaker 9: You know who we need to look out for. Man,
- 1:08:00Speaker 9: we need to start praying for Florida State. Florida State
- 1:08:04Speaker 9: then lost again, Tommy, they owe it too. They done
- 1:08:08Speaker 9: lost to Boston College now two. They lost to Georgia
- 1:08:11Speaker 9: Tech the first week. Then they didn't lost to Boston College.
- 1:08:14Speaker 8: Two unranked teams. I don't know what's happening down at
- 1:08:17Speaker 8: Florida State, but they was ranked number ten.
- 1:08:20Speaker 9: Now we don't know about that. Now they're gonna go
- 1:08:22Speaker 9: way down now. So we got to say congratulations to
- 1:08:25Speaker 9: Angel Reese. Angel rees worke the rebound record in the
- 1:08:29Speaker 9: w NBA.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: I'm talking about, not.
- 1:08:31Speaker 8: The rookie record, the whole w NBA record.
- 1:08:34Speaker 9: She got the record and still got eight more games
- 1:08:37Speaker 9: to go, and they trying to hate on them. But
- 1:08:39Speaker 9: that's all right, Angel, You did that, girl, You did that.
- 1:08:42Speaker 10: Right, all right, Junior, thank you.
- 1:08:44Speaker 5: Coming up at the top of the hour, women on
- 1:08:46Speaker 5: social media needs some advice. She says she's thinking of
- 1:08:48Speaker 5: moving so she doesn't see her acts. We'll talk about
- 1:08:51Speaker 5: it right after this.
- 1:08:53Speaker 7: Do it, girl, you're listening morning show.
- 1:09:00Speaker 5: This runs from g on Facebook. B says, it's almost
- 1:09:03Speaker 5: been a year since my ex and I broke up.
- 1:09:06Speaker 5: We were together since high school, and I live in
- 1:09:09Speaker 5: a small town, so it's been incredibly difficult for me
- 1:09:12Speaker 5: because we see each other all the time. I'm considering
- 1:09:15Speaker 5: moving to another town to get away from him. Would
- 1:09:19Speaker 5: I be giving up too much to move to get
- 1:09:21Speaker 5: away from him?
- 1:09:22Speaker 7: I see a lot.
- 1:09:23Speaker 5: I see lots of other possible benefits to moving to
- 1:09:26Speaker 5: a big city, so it wouldn't be completely about him.
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: We had a lady that had moved from her city
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: to be with her boyfriend. Now you're moving from a
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: city to avoid your boyfriend. I strongly suggest that you
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: find out where this lady moved to in the Strawberry letter.
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: What you need to find out what the movie she
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: moved to in the Strawberry letter, because she's finn break
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: up with the dude to fix cause. And if you
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: start dating that man to fix them calls that was
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: in this Strawberry Letter. One of the biggest problems in
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: this letter, it was there's a cousin that stayed with him,
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: but that that's the same age, and they don't know
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: what's wrong with him, but something wrong with him. You
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: need to you need to research our Strawberry letter and
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: avoid the city that she moved to because you start
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: dating him. I'm telling you right now, it's a man
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: that lived with him, that's the same age, just in
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: that room, and they don't know what's wrong with it.
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: That's all I'm gonna say. And if he's yelling at
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: the TV and hear the part about it now, ain't
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: nobody even said that the TV was on. That's why
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: it needs to be careful. You need to get in there,
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: find out the facts, or you mess around. And if
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: you dating a man, let me just tell you something.
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: I just give you some facts. Dating a man and
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: he got a backyard of mechanics shop and he detailed cars,
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: and he got an uncle in there to walk around
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: with his tongue hanging out. That just move on back
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: there A little small at the time.
- 1:10:57Speaker 10: All right, for another we have another one.
- 1:11:04Speaker 7: This is from.
- 1:11:07Speaker 10: Mb FM.
- 1:11:10Speaker 5: Right all my life, I've been going NonStop. I graduated
- 1:11:14Speaker 5: with top honors from college. Now I have a good job,
- 1:11:17Speaker 5: but don't really have much time in the way of
- 1:11:20Speaker 5: hobbies other than a side business I've been working on
- 1:11:22Speaker 5: for a couple of years. My friends all have hobbies
- 1:11:25Speaker 5: and spend time traveling, but I only work. I don't
- 1:11:29Speaker 5: really know where to start when it comes to unwinding
- 1:11:32Speaker 5: and just enjoying myself. That's not to say that I
- 1:11:35Speaker 5: don't enjoy working, but I just don't know how to
- 1:11:38Speaker 5: turn off and just relax.
- 1:11:40Speaker 7: Is this comment? How can I learn to just relax?
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: Is this a man who wrote this letter? It says
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: m B.
- 1:11:48Speaker 12: M B.
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: Well, the advice would happen device I gived. I have
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: to know it.
- 1:11:55Speaker 10: Think it's a girl. Yeah, yeah, I think I think
- 1:11:59Speaker 10: it was.
- 1:11:59Speaker 7: I thought it was a guy. Really, but well, if.
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: It's a guy, you need a woman, okay, short, okay,
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: And if it's a woman, you need a man because
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: obviously you ain't got to figure it out by yourself.
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: Whoever mb is maul and Brando or Monica Bond, you
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: need somebody man to create balance in your life.
- 1:12:27Speaker 3: Now.
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: I know, I know what it is to give you
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: all and all when you're in the come up, and
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: I understand that. But you got to have a balance, man,
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: and I never found that balance. I didn't find a
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: balance until I was forty nine.
- 1:12:40Speaker 5: So let's break this down. I graduated with top honors
- 1:12:45Speaker 5: from college. What we know, right, Monica? Yeah, now I
- 1:12:51Speaker 5: have a good job, that's what. That's okay, But I
- 1:12:56Speaker 5: don't really have much in the way of hobbies more
- 1:13:00Speaker 5: than a size business.
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: Well, I don't know. She go all the little ragged
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: air Jackson State stuff. She acts like all lett in
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: the bag of chips. She'd be at all that litt
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: raggedy air and Jackson State stuff, trying to blow it
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: off back like this.
- 1:13:11Speaker 5: Everything okay, but we're back to Monica. All my friends
- 1:13:15Speaker 5: have hobbies.
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: All her friends are stuck in Mississippi. I ain't seen
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: that go nowhere. And her other friend is Shirley, And
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: you know Shirley don't go no, damn well, because she's
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: scared a flash.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: We'll have more of the.
- 1:13:34Speaker 10: Steam Harvey Morning Show coming.
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: Oh now, you want to let her be over now
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: since she got the.
- 1:13:39Speaker 10: Minutes after right after.
- 1:13:41Speaker 7: This, you're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:13:48Speaker 5: Yesterday was Labor Day, of course, which means summer is
- 1:13:51Speaker 5: behind us pretty much.
- 1:13:53Speaker 10: And fall is up ahead.
- 1:13:55Speaker 5: January is typically the time for resolutions, but fall is
- 1:13:58Speaker 5: off on a time of start. You know, you get
- 1:14:01Speaker 5: a fresh start in the fall months. Could now be
- 1:14:04Speaker 5: a time to quote fall into good habits.
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: So here's a question for you.
- 1:14:08Speaker 10: Guys, Uh, what is something you'd like to achieve this fall?
- 1:14:12Speaker 10: What do you what are you thinking about? You want
- 1:14:14Speaker 10: to do this fall?
- 1:14:15Speaker 5: What habit would you like to develop before the holidays
- 1:14:18Speaker 5: are here? Because you know it's tomorrow. I've been saying
- 1:14:22Speaker 5: that all year in the song not tomorrow.
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: It's almost care stop that stop that. It's been saying
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: this in January.
- 1:14:30Speaker 7: Almost here, and I was right, this fall. What you
- 1:14:36Speaker 7: have for fall?
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: Something for fall?
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: I don't know, you know what.
- 1:14:40Speaker 6: I'm so excited about this cold weather period. You know
- 1:14:44Speaker 6: we you know, me and Carla. We live in Texas.
- 1:14:46Speaker 6: I'm just just lost from the heat and were just
- 1:14:50Speaker 6: getting sixty five.
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: This is sixty five. I'd be a can I put
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: a sweat on?
- 1:14:55Speaker 13: Yeah?
- 1:14:55Speaker 10: I just want it because of for the clothes.
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: That's it. Yeah?
- 1:15:00Speaker 10: Is that for the fall?
- 1:15:02Speaker 4: So is that your favorite season?
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: Fall?
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:15:04Speaker 10: I like fall, really summer when I was little. But
- 1:15:08Speaker 10: now it's turned to fall.
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: This two damn hat.
- 1:15:12Speaker 4: Let's get your pumpkin spice together?
- 1:15:14Speaker 10: Left go.
- 1:15:17Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:15:18Speaker 5: All right, guys coming up in thirty three minutes after
- 1:15:21Speaker 5: the hour, you know what time it is time to.
- 1:15:23Speaker 10: Play a round of would you rather?
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: Right after this sally to be Halloween for you know,
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: such a.
- 1:15:30Speaker 7: Hater you're listening morning show.
- 1:15:34Speaker 10: It is time now for a round of would you rather?
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:15:37Speaker 10: So fall is right around the corner.
- 1:15:39Speaker 6: We know that.
- 1:15:40Speaker 5: So would you rather carve a pumpkin? Or would you
- 1:15:43Speaker 5: rather go apple picking?
- 1:15:44Speaker 10: Which one?
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: Hell? You heard one of these white things. I am
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: picking nothing. I'm starting. You're not heaving that.
- 1:16:04Speaker 10: Yeah, but you're not picking it.
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: You're picking picking nothing? All right?
- 1:16:09Speaker 5: Would you rather get horrible indigestion for the first day
- 1:16:13Speaker 5: of your vacation? Or or or doing an important million
- 1:16:17Speaker 5: dollar deal presentation meeting? Which one first day to make
- 1:16:21Speaker 5: a million million dollar deal presentation?
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: Okay, I don't care. I'll peel all over that tabel
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: on to me. Oh, don't care. What's going on? We said?
- 1:16:29Speaker 10: Stomach indigestion?
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: Great?
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: What great?
- 1:16:33Speaker 6: I'll blow up right on that tape. I don't care.
- 1:16:36Speaker 6: We're finna get this million.
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: Indigestion don't really bother me. I don't.
- 1:16:42Speaker 7: You take it there?
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: Heartburn Belchian be sitting up in there just signing the papers. Yeah,
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: just the stomach. Yes, you got the deal? Okay, all right?
- 1:16:56Speaker 8: How long do means they take?
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: Do you take a long time and sign a mean
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: dollar deal. You can hold it millionaire of deal. Be
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: ignorant dog?
- 1:17:04Speaker 6: He be saying there with him, stupid stop dog feet,
- 1:17:12Speaker 6: steady smiling and signing, because.
- 1:17:17Speaker 10: He's at that level where you could say whatever.
- 1:17:19Speaker 7: You want to say.
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: He's there, all right.
- 1:17:25Speaker 5: Would you rather eat mystery leftovers that have been in
- 1:17:28Speaker 5: the fridge for too long or a stranger's leftover that
- 1:17:31Speaker 5: they left on their plate at a five star restaurant?
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: Wow? Oh hell no, we've been in my refrigerator about
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: nobody damn plate.
- 1:17:42Speaker 5: Would you rather go on a silent, no talking retreat
- 1:17:45Speaker 5: for a week or go on a week long vacation
- 1:17:48Speaker 5: with someone who never shuts up?
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: Can we go on the side of retreat with our
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: wife and they can't say nothing?
- 1:17:56Speaker 10: Oh you are really really really losing as.
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: You know, that's impossible. Yes, it's probably saying b yeah, stupid, I.
- 1:18:11Speaker 10: Know I can't say that, and Junior's newly when I can't.
- 1:18:18Speaker 10: All right, So what was the answer is?
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: Everybody?
- 1:18:20Speaker 5: Is everybody going with a week long vacation with someone
- 1:18:23Speaker 5: who never shuts up?
- 1:18:24Speaker 10: Everybody's going on that vacancy.
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: But were still with our wife though but I know
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: how to answer. That's her. Yeah, that's what they did.
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: What you caught you.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: Oh so now you're not listening.
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: Huh, that wasn't part of rosa.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: That was not part of the line.
- 1:18:44Speaker 5: Didn't coming up in forty nine minutes after the hour,
- 1:18:52Speaker 5: last break of the day will close out the show
- 1:18:55Speaker 5: with Steve Harvey right after this.
- 1:18:57Speaker 7: You're listening hardy morning.
- 1:19:00Speaker 5: It's time now for today's last break of the day,
- 1:19:04Speaker 5: and of course Steve is going to close us out.
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: There's been a lot going on lately on the internet
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: and just in regular news and everything about this election,
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: uh coming up. I just want to say this too,
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: especially amongst ourselves. You know all these people, I want
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: to debate you, and I debate you, and I debate
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: you anytime that listen, There is no debate here. The
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: choice is very simple. If you do not vote, you
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: are in essence, voting for Donald Trump. And listen to me, man.
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: The one thing I have to give them Trump supporters
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: is they all in no matter what, they don't give
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: a damn how corrupt he is, how guilty is, how
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: immoral he is, how big of a lie he tell,
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: how many facts he get wrong, how many untruths he spewed.
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: He they man, Well, I feel the same way about
- 1:20:21Speaker 2: Vice President Kamala has accept accept I don't have to
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: tolerate her immorality. I don't have to tolerate her dishonesty.
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: I don't have to put up with her being a
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: convicted felon. I don't have to put up with her lies.
- 1:20:38Speaker 2: I don't have to put up with her with her
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: just overall unconcerned for humanity. I don't have to put
- 1:20:46Speaker 2: up with her narcissism. See that's the difference here. So
- 1:20:50Speaker 2: for me, it's a clear cut decision. How you don't
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: see it, I don't see it. These Trump supporters, he's
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: the man. He's just Trump all the way. I do
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: not even understand how you can even want somebody like
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: that to represent the country. But then I do understand,
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: because Donald Trump is how this country was built on. Narcissism, lies,
- 1:21:19Speaker 2: lack of concern for fellow man, stepping on the common man, stealing,
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: That's how the country was built. I'm sorry, you know, Look,
- 1:21:32Speaker 2: I'm an American. I have the right to say what
- 1:21:35Speaker 2: I want to say because this country affords me the right.
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: America is what it is because it was built on
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: the backs of our forefathers. America would not be America
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: if it was not for slavery. You could not build
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: the economic empire you built without all the free labor
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: you used. But how did you get the free label
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: went over there and stolen people. You forced him into bondage.
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: You made him do work you didn't want to do.
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: You took them from their homeland. You stripped them of
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: their education, they rights, they livelihoods. You stripped them of
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: knowing each other, You stripped them of their faith. All
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: of that you just stripped. That's how you took America.
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: So Donald Trump is popular because they've seen this before,
- 1:22:25Speaker 2: they know the playbook. That's why he's popular. And if
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: you vote for him, is you understand that you're not
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: voting for him blindly. You see what he's doing. You
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: just chose, you choose not to. You don't face it.
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: They looking at it. When he lied. You can't sit
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: there and nod your head at a lie. Every lie.
- 1:22:52Speaker 2: Come on, man, if somebody lies to you constantly, I
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: don't care who you are, at one point in time
- 1:22:57Speaker 2: you say, all right, you noad in your head, and
- 1:22:59Speaker 2: then you go, damn what. But they don't care. Kamala
- 1:23:04Speaker 2: Harris is a clear cut choice. She will become the president.
- 1:23:08Speaker 2: If we show up in numbers like we did for
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: President Obama. I'm telling you he will be president. She
- 1:23:15Speaker 2: will be president if we get to the polls in Georgia,
- 1:23:21Speaker 2: in Pennsylvania, in Michigan, in Wisconsin, if we get to
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: the polls and the places, she will win. Do you
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: know why they call it a swing state, y'all? The
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: reason they call these swing states is because these are
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: the states that could go blue or red. And they
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: don't care about the popular vote. They care about the
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: electoral You know he won before because of the electoral vote.
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: I don't think Donald Trump can win a popular vote.
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: I just don't. As jacked up as this country is,
- 1:24:05Speaker 2: I don't think he can win a popular vote, but
- 1:24:09Speaker 2: he can win the electorals because see Georgia red and
- 1:24:13Speaker 2: for Georgia to have turned blue last time, it was
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: a miracle. But things change and times change. And I
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: don't know if you've been paying close attention, y'all, but
- 1:24:25Speaker 2: we are the catalysts for change. We always have been.
- 1:24:30Speaker 2: It's been us who has determined fashion. It's been us
- 1:24:35Speaker 2: who determines music. It's been us who determines dance. It's
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: been us who determines what the look is. Botox is
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: because of us, bbl's is because of us. Us. Tanning
- 1:24:53Speaker 2: salons exist because of us. Oh, they don't love us,
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: but they sure want to be like us. I'm telling
- 1:25:03Speaker 2: you right now. Black kids don't try to act like
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: white kids. You'll never see that. But white kids emulate
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: black kids all the time. It's been us the whole time,
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: and it can be us in the election to If
- 1:25:17Speaker 2: we can affect everything in culture, we can start affecting
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: stuff politically too. Get to the polls and vote. Stop
- 1:25:23Speaker 2: listening to these people telling you not to vote because
- 1:25:26Speaker 2: if you don't vote, Donald Trump will be president. And
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: then what you're gonna do? Those are my closing remarks.
- 1:25:34Speaker 2: That's why they don't have me speaking at the Democratic Convention.
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: Right there, y'all talk to God today. He loved to
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: hear from yall. Stay in peace.
