- 2:07Speaker 7: Want it only Steve Harvey Man oh Man got a
- 2:10Speaker 7: radio show, got a good one for you today.
- 2:13Speaker 6: And it just happened to me.
- 2:15Speaker 7: You know, I was going through something that I've been
- 2:18Speaker 7: going through for a long long time and just weary
- 2:21Speaker 7: of it all. And I was I've been talking to
- 2:23Speaker 7: God about it, and I mean for years.
- 2:26Speaker 6: Though.
- 2:26Speaker 7: What happened was I had to go through some more
- 2:30Speaker 7: of it yesterday again a situation. But you know what,
- 2:34Speaker 7: after it was over, you know, I kind of laid
- 2:37Speaker 7: in it for a little while. You know how you've
- 2:39Speaker 7: been going through something for so long and then even
- 2:41Speaker 7: if it's over or appears to be over, you still
- 2:44Speaker 7: kind of lay in it a little bit. And you know,
- 2:46Speaker 7: you have a while. Man, I can't believe I've been
- 2:49Speaker 7: dealing with this this long, even though even though it's over.
- 2:53Speaker 7: I don't know how you do it, but this was
- 2:55Speaker 7: so good for me. Have you ever counted, Steve Harvey,
- 3:00Speaker 7: how many times you made it? And so that's what
- 3:02Speaker 7: I started doing yesterday, And that's what I did this morning.
- 3:05Speaker 7: When I woke up. I was actually taking an inventory
- 3:09Speaker 7: account of how many times I made it. How many times, man,
- 3:15Speaker 7: I didn't have the rent and somehow I came up
- 3:17Speaker 7: with it. How many times I didn't have my house
- 3:20Speaker 7: payment and somehow I came up with it. How many
- 3:24Speaker 7: times I was out of money, did not have enough,
- 3:27Speaker 7: didn't see no way, but somehow I came up with it.
- 3:31Speaker 7: How many times I got sick, thought, well, man, this
- 3:35Speaker 7: one right here. I don't know what I'm gonna do,
- 3:36Speaker 7: but somehow I got my health back. How many situations
- 3:42Speaker 7: I have found myself in? That was I thought at
- 3:46Speaker 7: the time, detrimental and diabolical and man so sinister at times.
- 3:53Speaker 6: Somehow I made it. I look at all the accidents
- 3:57Speaker 6: I've been in, but he kept me. I made it.
- 4:01Speaker 7: I think about even the simplest times of like stepping
- 4:03Speaker 7: off a curve and almost got hit, but I made it.
- 4:07Speaker 7: I was just tripping the other day. I was thinking
- 4:10Speaker 7: about the times that I've been hit by a car
- 4:13Speaker 7: and it could have been worse, but it wouldn't, And
- 4:15Speaker 7: I made it through that too. I was thinking about, Man,
- 4:18Speaker 7: when they count you out? Do you know how many
- 4:21Speaker 7: times I've been counted out? He's done?
- 4:25Speaker 6: He ain't gonna be nothing, he ain't nobody See who
- 4:29Speaker 6: I told y'all look at over that they counsel this.
- 4:31Speaker 6: He offered that he out of here. He ain't gonna
- 4:34Speaker 6: make it. He didne got fired. Man, You know how
- 4:36Speaker 6: many times I've been counted out? You know how many
- 4:38Speaker 6: times they done wrote me off? How many times have
- 4:41Speaker 6: you been written off? Man?
- 4:43Speaker 7: But here you still stand? Yeah, you're a tripped on it.
- 4:45Speaker 7: Take an inventory, y'all of how many times? Count the
- 4:50Speaker 7: times you've made it? What about the times man, when
- 4:53Speaker 7: nobody was there to encourage you, but you still here
- 4:56Speaker 7: though you have tripped on that? Ain't nobody you and
- 5:00Speaker 7: told you good day? Nobody called you and told you
- 5:02Speaker 7: recently thank you. No one's called you and told you
- 5:05Speaker 7: how much you meant to them, how much you've done
- 5:07Speaker 7: for them or man, that you can make it. Never
- 5:09Speaker 7: give up, Keep your head up, man, keep grinding. But
- 5:12Speaker 7: you still here even when nobody. Have you counted the
- 5:15Speaker 7: times man, that you made it anyway? Have you counted
- 5:20Speaker 7: the times that you felt like quitting, you felt like
- 5:23Speaker 7: giving up.
- 5:24Speaker 6: You kept going. How about the time this is a
- 5:27Speaker 6: good one right here?
- 5:28Speaker 7: How about the times man, when everybody's standing around saying,
- 5:31Speaker 7: ain't no way, ain't no way.
- 5:33Speaker 6: Man.
- 5:33Speaker 7: I can't tell how many times I've heard this, ain't
- 5:36Speaker 7: no way, and then somehow there is a way. You
- 5:40Speaker 7: know why, because he make a way.
- 5:43Speaker 6: You understand.
- 5:44Speaker 7: You know how many times I've heard this one right here, Steve,
- 5:47Speaker 7: listen to me, man, nobody ever before has done that.
- 5:51Speaker 6: You can't do that. How many times you done?
- 5:54Speaker 5: Heart?
- 5:54Speaker 6: No, you or you know anybody that done that? You
- 5:58Speaker 6: can't do that. No one has ever done that. I
- 6:01Speaker 6: made it anyway? You know, they don't normally or we
- 6:08Speaker 6: don't normally allowed this, but in this case, for you,
- 6:15Speaker 6: we gonna make an exception. How many times have you
- 6:18Speaker 6: heard that, Oh, I think I'm onto something. How many
- 6:22Speaker 6: times have you heard in your lifetime? We don't normally
- 6:26Speaker 6: or they don't normally allowed this, but we gonna make
- 6:30Speaker 6: this exception in your case. How many times you done
- 6:35Speaker 6: heard that? Have you ever counted the times that you
- 6:40Speaker 6: made it? Everybody out except me? How can that be?
- 6:47Speaker 7: You know you're the only one that got through this? Congratulations? Wow, man,
- 6:53Speaker 7: I don't hardly see this too many times. But do
- 6:56Speaker 7: you realize that normally this is what happened to people?
- 6:59Speaker 7: But man, y'all, I don't know how your name came up,
- 7:02Speaker 7: but here you are. Wow, it never happens like that.
- 7:05Speaker 7: You ever counted those times I was doing it yesterday?
- 7:09Speaker 7: I was doing it this morning. I was just taking
- 7:11Speaker 7: an inventory everybody of how many times I've made it.
- 7:15Speaker 7: So what I learned yesterday was when God gets you
- 7:19Speaker 7: through something, when he pulled you out on the other side,
- 7:23Speaker 7: no matter how difficult or how long it took. When
- 7:26Speaker 7: he gets you out on the other side, why don't
- 7:29Speaker 7: you get up, dust yourself off, and start troting what
- 7:34Speaker 7: you laying there for? Man, wallowing in it, going over it,
- 7:38Speaker 7: recycling it in your mind. So many people can't move
- 7:42Speaker 7: forward because we keep recycling stuff in our mind when
- 7:49Speaker 7: clearly it's time to move on, it's time to let go,
- 7:55Speaker 7: it's time to go and see what God has for you.
- 7:58Speaker 7: Stop looking at what you lost. What you lost was
- 8:03Speaker 7: probably not yours to have in the first all, oh,
- 8:07Speaker 7: in the first place.
- 8:12Speaker 6: Do you know the things I've lost?
- 8:15Speaker 7: Now, I'm not talking about losing a loved one, a
- 8:17Speaker 7: mother or father, nothing like that. I'm talking about innate
- 8:20Speaker 7: objects or situation. Do you know the things I've lost? Man,
- 8:24Speaker 7: I look back on it. I wasn't supposed to have
- 8:26Speaker 7: them in the first place, or they was.
- 8:28Speaker 6: Doing me no good. I wasn't wasn't mine to lose,
- 8:31Speaker 6: but I claimed I lost it.
- 8:33Speaker 7: Come on, man, take an inventory, everybody. Start looking at
- 8:36Speaker 7: the things man, that God has brought you through. Start
- 8:39Speaker 7: looking at how many times He allowed you to make it.
- 8:41Speaker 7: And get glad about waking up in the morning. Man,
- 8:43Speaker 7: Get glad about your life. Start feeling something positive about
- 8:47Speaker 7: your situation. You cannot expect God to continue to bless
- 8:51Speaker 7: you if you're not grateful for the things that you have.
- 8:54Speaker 7: Why would God sitting down here looking at you, upset, angry,
- 9:01Speaker 7: laying in the wall of what you are not grateful for.
- 9:06Speaker 7: You just can't find the scene and find no gratitude
- 9:09Speaker 7: in your heart about nothing but you steady asking God
- 9:11Speaker 7: for something, So now you think God is crazy? You
- 9:14Speaker 7: think he gonna give you some more stuff to not
- 9:16Speaker 7: be grateful for. Are you kidding me?
- 9:19Speaker 6: Why would he do that. He's too full of too
- 9:22Speaker 6: much mercy to send you through that over and over
- 9:25Speaker 6: and over.
- 9:25Speaker 7: The more I give my child, the more ungrateful they are,
- 9:29Speaker 7: the less gratitude they show. But I'm gonna keep dumping
- 9:32Speaker 7: it on them so they can keep feeling ungrateful and
- 9:34Speaker 7: then show like a gratitude. God's not gonna do that
- 9:37Speaker 7: to you. Come on, man, have you ever counted how
- 9:42Speaker 7: many times you made it? I can't count how many
- 9:46Speaker 7: times God done got me through something. But when He
- 9:49Speaker 7: gets you through it, you ain't get up and get
- 9:51Speaker 7: on about your business. Don't lay that in it.
- 9:53Speaker 6: It's over, it's done, you made it, you survived it.
- 9:56Speaker 6: Let's go, let's go.
- 9:58Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 10:00Speaker 6: Show, ladies and gentlemen. It's time again. I ain't miss it.
- 10:06Speaker 7: This morning, I told him thank you as soon as
- 10:08Speaker 7: I got up. Man caught myself this morning early told
- 10:11Speaker 7: him how much I appreciate it. My measure of health, opportunities,
- 10:15Speaker 7: my chances, everything. He's allowed me to overcome everything He's
- 10:19Speaker 7: pulling me through everything that might come my way, that
- 10:22Speaker 7: he'll strengthen me. For man, I did it do the same, y'all.
- 10:25Speaker 7: Today is a gift from God. That's why they call
- 10:27Speaker 7: it the present. Yeah, so let's get with it. Steve
- 10:30Speaker 7: Harvey Morning Show, Shirley Strawberry call it for real, Mississippi
- 10:34Speaker 7: moniccause Junior's out today.
- 10:36Speaker 6: The legend that is.
- 10:37Speaker 7: Nephew, Tommy, Well, it pains me and Junior's out today. Yeah,
- 10:44Speaker 7: and I have to go to a certified food and
- 10:48Speaker 7: ask him what's on his mind? That's always always, you know,
- 10:55Speaker 7: I've known.
- 10:55Speaker 6: Him so long, Tommy, what was What's what's on your mind?
- 11:05Speaker 4: You know what?
- 11:05Speaker 8: Let me just let's see. I got a question we
- 11:08Speaker 8: at the end of the year, at the end of
- 11:09Speaker 8: twenty twenty three. So I guess the question for you
- 11:12Speaker 8: is best thing you did this year and the worst thing.
- 11:16Speaker 6: You did this year? Oh?
- 11:21Speaker 9: I know.
- 11:21Speaker 7: The best thing I did this year is I became
- 11:24Speaker 7: more trusting in God's timing. This was the year that
- 11:29Speaker 7: really had to teach me that at sixty six, I'm
- 11:32Speaker 7: still learning. But this was the year that I that
- 11:37Speaker 7: I really began to understand trusting in God's timing because, man,
- 11:42Speaker 7: let me tell you something. He put the test on me. Man,
- 11:46Speaker 7: he put the test on me this year to see
- 11:49Speaker 7: if I got it. And I think I passed the test.
- 11:51Speaker 7: So I began more became more trusting in God's timing.
- 11:55Speaker 7: And when it don't go my way, I have to
- 11:57Speaker 7: understand God's timing is different from ours. That's that's been
- 12:01Speaker 7: a real battle for me majority of my life, I'll admit.
- 12:05Speaker 7: But this year he said, Okay, I don't know how
- 12:07Speaker 7: long it's taking you to get this, boy, but you
- 12:11Speaker 7: go get this this year, Colin, I ain't gonna let
- 12:14Speaker 7: up with the test. See, because everything you're going through
- 12:18Speaker 7: is preparing you for what you ask God for. And
- 12:20Speaker 7: what I'm asking God for is gonna require that I
- 12:23Speaker 7: trust more in His time and substance.
- 12:25Speaker 6: That's the best thing. What's the worst thing I've done
- 12:27Speaker 6: this year? Yeah, I gave my sale number to the
- 12:31Speaker 6: wrong person. Are they blowing you up? Tommy?
- 12:41Speaker 4: Man?
- 12:42Speaker 6: You know I ain't never regretted nothing more than giving
- 12:47Speaker 6: this number to this dude.
- 12:49Speaker 4: Man.
- 12:50Speaker 6: I mean, I mean, man, it has been man, I
- 12:54Speaker 6: mean it's it's like unbelievable stuff. Like I mean, every
- 12:59Speaker 6: day something. Man, hey man, what you doing?
- 13:02Speaker 4: Hell?
- 13:02Speaker 9: What you mean?
- 13:03Speaker 6: What I'm doing? Man?
- 13:06Speaker 10: Talk?
- 13:07Speaker 6: What do you mean? Hey man? What you doing? I
- 13:11Speaker 6: ain't never thinking?
- 13:11Speaker 7: And then he and then he's a professional texta so
- 13:14Speaker 7: he got them little short w y d boy.
- 13:19Speaker 6: Look man, I'm grown ass man.
- 13:22Speaker 5: Who are you?
- 13:22Speaker 4: Laurie?
- 13:23Speaker 6: What did you think there was? Text me like Lori
- 13:26Speaker 6: doll bring eyeballs. I ain't got figured this house. That's
- 13:35Speaker 6: the worst than.
- 13:35Speaker 11: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour. We'll
- 13:39Speaker 11: hear yet again from the nephew as he runs that
- 13:41Speaker 11: prank back right after this. You're listening hard morning show.
- 13:48Speaker 11: It is time now for the nephew to run that
- 13:50Speaker 11: prank back. What you got first?
- 13:51Speaker 8: And f ad you know lies y'all BA bought me
- 13:57Speaker 8: this glove. This right here is the sixth I said.
- 14:03Speaker 8: That's what they had used to say that the sticks
- 14:05Speaker 8: and shutty, sick and shut in. It is the sick
- 14:09Speaker 8: and shutting, the sick and shuddy, all right, the sick
- 14:12Speaker 8: and shut in. Everybody had that list right, all right,
- 14:16Speaker 8: kept up, let's go stick and shut in.
- 14:19Speaker 5: So I'm trying to speaking. You got him? How you
- 14:24Speaker 5: do that? I'm doing I ain't doing too good. You'd
- 14:27Speaker 5: never been over here praying for my wife again? Right right, right, yes, sir,
- 14:31Speaker 5: you have came over here three times in one week.
- 14:35Speaker 5: My wife had already went through the operation and all
- 14:37Speaker 5: that she's gonna be pining. I don't need you over
- 14:40Speaker 5: a praying three times a week, because, honestly, I think
- 14:43Speaker 5: it's something else on your mind when you come over
- 14:45Speaker 5: here praying for my wife. I ain't stupid, brother.
- 14:48Speaker 12: You kind of hold it, brother, This, buddy, this is well.
- 14:53Speaker 12: Your wife was on the sick and shutting list. I
- 14:56Speaker 12: rever actually to come back. Reveren ain't questioned that I
- 14:59Speaker 12: come by.
- 15:00Speaker 5: Uh okay, he ain't requested for you to bring your
- 15:03Speaker 5: black to my house for no three times in one week, man,
- 15:06Speaker 5: So you can cut that down with me. You can
- 15:09Speaker 5: cut that out.
- 15:10Speaker 12: Hold it, brother. I came with sister Georgia the first time.
- 15:16Speaker 12: The second time I came by myself because she was
- 15:18Speaker 12: able to come by, and I only stayed fifteen minutes
- 15:22Speaker 12: the time.
- 15:23Speaker 5: So what's the problem. Could I already know what you
- 15:26Speaker 5: what you're doing. I know you're trying to holler at
- 15:27Speaker 5: my wife. I ain't shoo hop at your wife. I
- 15:30Speaker 5: had a wife.
- 15:31Speaker 12: Why would I happen to your wife?
- 15:32Speaker 5: She's partly already You already know what you already know
- 15:36Speaker 5: what you're doing. Man, you up in the other house
- 15:38Speaker 5: my wife, Why wind up whind nobody at the house.
- 15:40Speaker 5: I already know what you do. Let me tell you something.
- 15:42Speaker 5: Keep your black away from my house. If you want
- 15:45Speaker 5: to pray for my wife.
- 15:48Speaker 12: I'm wait, man, Wait minute, wait man, You can't talk
- 15:52Speaker 12: to nobody hand.
- 15:55Speaker 5: That's what you're gonna now.
- 15:56Speaker 12: Brother, ain't gonna be none of that, and ain't gonna
- 15:58Speaker 12: be none of that. You're talking to the wrong brother,
- 16:00Speaker 12: and I okay. Now, first of all, you're not gonna
- 16:03Speaker 12: disrespect me and curse me out. Okay, that's not even
- 16:08Speaker 12: the way brothers should be talking to brothers. Second of all,
- 16:11Speaker 12: if there's any laying on the hands, it's gonna be
- 16:13Speaker 12: my hands laying on you. Okay.
- 16:16Speaker 5: Late, I know you're trying to my wife. If I
- 16:19Speaker 5: find you out, you know you mess around with my wife,
- 16:23Speaker 5: it's gonna.
- 16:23Speaker 12: Be I'm crazy trying to be crazy.
- 16:27Speaker 4: I'm just letting you.
- 16:28Speaker 5: I'm gonna say it one more time. Keep your black
- 16:30Speaker 5: off around my You know, first.
- 16:32Speaker 12: Of all, I told you once again. You can't be
- 16:35Speaker 12: talking to me like that. Now, I'm trying to be
- 16:38Speaker 12: cool about the situation because I know you may be
- 16:41Speaker 12: just upset. Okay, I can appreciate that. Okay, I have
- 16:44Speaker 12: a wife, and I'll be.
- 16:46Speaker 5: Upset if somebody was coming out there.
- 16:47Speaker 11: My wife.
- 16:50Speaker 5: Out with your wife. I do spend my time with
- 16:52Speaker 5: my wife.
- 16:52Speaker 6: I do you know.
- 16:55Speaker 5: Your house? May if I need to come on your
- 16:57Speaker 5: house and let your wife, well, you're welcome to come
- 17:02Speaker 5: and come lay something over there on huh God, now
- 17:06Speaker 5: trying to do it?
- 17:07Speaker 12: Hold older one man, older one man. I'll told you
- 17:10Speaker 12: before it's being disrespectful. Now, that was a very idiotic
- 17:14Speaker 12: statement for you to make.
- 17:16Speaker 5: Okay, that's what's gonna happen.
- 17:17Speaker 13: If I catch your black set my house again, I'm
- 17:20Speaker 13: gonna play this man, and then I'm getting on the
- 17:22Speaker 13: phone with you, you, your pastor any more of them,
- 17:24Speaker 13: because if anybody come by my house again and I
- 17:27Speaker 13: ain't there, I'm kicking your black.
- 17:30Speaker 12: That's a promise, you know, Just that's it. Look here, brother,
- 17:35Speaker 12: if that's gonna be any whooping gone on, I'll be
- 17:37Speaker 12: kicking yop. I'm gonna lay my hands on you, and
- 17:40Speaker 12: I'm gonna give you a good sanctified whooping, and then
- 17:45Speaker 12: I'm gonna pray for you. I'm gonna pray to heal
- 17:47Speaker 12: you by this foot I'm gonna put up, okay, because
- 17:50Speaker 12: I've had it with you, you know. And I only
- 17:53Speaker 12: went by to visit your wife because I was asked
- 17:55Speaker 12: to go visit your wife. Now that was a problem.
- 17:58Speaker 12: You should have called the pastor. Okay, but you're not
- 18:00Speaker 12: gonna disrespect me my wife to church on the phone. Now,
- 18:03Speaker 12: if you want to do somebody, you can meet me
- 18:05Speaker 12: any place.
- 18:06Speaker 5: Well. As a matter of fact, I.
- 18:09Speaker 12: Can go anywhere I want in this town. If I
- 18:11Speaker 12: be at your house talking to your wife, if the
- 18:13Speaker 12: path asks me to go, I'm gonna be there. Okay.
- 18:16Speaker 12: You you know, you just you know. It's just a
- 18:19Speaker 12: stupid brother. Okay.
- 18:21Speaker 5: You need to come to.
- 18:25Speaker 12: You need to come to church more off.
- 18:26Speaker 5: And that's the problem.
- 18:27Speaker 12: You don't come to church more off. If you come

- 37:21Speaker 7: bad guy. I don't know the particulars. I know that
- 37:26Speaker 7: little baby's voice you got. I know you really need
- 37:29Speaker 7: to go back there and fix it with your mom
- 37:30Speaker 7: and daddy.
- 37:31Speaker 6: Can sound like you nine and don't sound like you
- 37:34Speaker 6: on your own, But that aside from itself, let's get
- 37:38Speaker 6: serious about this for a moment. Here's the deal. Listen
- 37:42Speaker 6: to me, people, I've heard Bishop Jake say this a
- 37:45Speaker 6: million times. Forgiveness is not for the other person. Forgiveness
- 37:50Speaker 6: is actually for you. Because you said in your statement,
- 37:53Speaker 6: I can't do that, how am I supposed to forget?
- 37:56Speaker 6: I can't do that?
- 37:58Speaker 7: Well, you not forgiven a person is like you drinking
- 38:01Speaker 7: the poison, waiting on them to die. So now you
- 38:05Speaker 7: got to have a reaction to your mother. Look, everybody
- 38:08Speaker 7: don't get great parents, you know, ma'am. My watch. I
- 38:13Speaker 7: watched my father make a few mistakes in his life,
- 38:16Speaker 7: but I still loved and honored him. He was my father,
- 38:20Speaker 7: and it kept us in a relationship that was a
- 38:23Speaker 7: beautiful relationship with this mad because, as Shirley just said,
- 38:27Speaker 7: these people are humans. You know, you don't get to
- 38:30Speaker 7: you don't get to stop being human. You don't get
- 38:33Speaker 7: to not make mistakes. So it's really up to you. Now,
- 38:35Speaker 7: if you feel that horrible about it, you're gonna just
- 38:38Speaker 7: another thing. My daddy said to me, He said, son,
- 38:41Speaker 7: two things can happen in life. You can get over
- 38:44Speaker 7: it or you can die mad. Now you can pick
- 38:49Speaker 7: one in what you want. And he said, son, just
- 38:52Speaker 7: go and get over And I know you say, well
- 38:55Speaker 7: I can't. Well, if you say you can't, then you can't.
- 38:57Speaker 7: Steve Harvey and nobody else can help you. You can
- 39:00Speaker 7: go to a therapist. If you saying you kate, forgive
- 39:03Speaker 7: her and let it go. There's nothing nobody can do
- 39:06Speaker 7: for you.
- 39:06Speaker 1: Yeah, she's not even trying. She's not gonna try.
- 39:10Speaker 6: I would just look write it off, Mom, She making
- 39:13Speaker 6: a mistake. That's her, you know, that's it all.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Right, coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour.
- 39:19Speaker 1: Thank you, Steve. We'll have more calls at eight seven
- 39:21Speaker 1: seven twenty nine. Steve.
- 39:23Speaker 11: You're listening hard Morning Show. It is time once again
- 39:28Speaker 11: to check Steve's voicemail. These calls, we're going to continue
- 39:32Speaker 11: them eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve and Steve, we
- 39:35Speaker 11: have a lot of messages about yesterday's strawberry letter. Remember
- 39:38Speaker 11: it was called too Good to be True. It was
- 39:40Speaker 11: about a woman who was dating a man for about
- 39:42Speaker 11: a month and he took her to his high school reunion.
- 39:45Speaker 11: At the reunion, he ate some bad tuna. She warned
- 39:49Speaker 11: him about this tuna, telling him it didn't smell right,
- 39:51Speaker 11: but he didn't listen ate it anyway. He got sick
- 39:55Speaker 11: and while at home, he asked her to stay with him.
- 39:57Speaker 11: She said no and suggested that he go to the er,
- 40:01Speaker 11: and she left. The next day she called to check
- 40:03Speaker 11: on him. He told her basically he didn't want to
- 40:06Speaker 11: see her again. This is from Sophia in New Orleans.
- 40:10Speaker 9: Good morning, Steve. This is Sophia from New Orleans and
- 40:15Speaker 9: I'm riding to work and I'm listening to the Steve
- 40:18Speaker 9: Harvey Morning Show. I just heard part one of the
- 40:22Speaker 9: Strawberry Letter Too Good to be True, and I'm with
- 40:26Speaker 9: you one hundred percent.
- 40:28Speaker 3: Steve, because young lady does not know how to take
- 40:33Speaker 3: care of a man.
- 40:34Speaker 10: She should have stayed with him, She should.
- 40:37Speaker 9: Have taken him to the hospital. She blew it, and
- 40:41Speaker 9: she doesn't deserve the good man that she claimed to
- 40:45Speaker 9: have had the opportunity to share one month with.
- 40:51Speaker 10: She killed it.
- 40:52Speaker 9: You guys, keep doing what you're doing and have a
- 40:57Speaker 9: blessed day.
- 40:58Speaker 7: You know, I agree with you say, because you know what, man,
- 41:01Speaker 7: it don't hurt to care about a person. He was
- 41:04Speaker 7: sick as hell. He wasn't trying to sleep with the girl.
- 41:07Speaker 7: He said, just would you stay with me? She said, no,
- 41:11Speaker 7: if you that's it, go to the er. Okay, cool,
- 41:13Speaker 7: here this man trying to find somebody to ride with.
- 41:17Speaker 7: You know, it's just a simple test.
- 41:19Speaker 6: You could have said.
- 41:20Speaker 7: She could have said, hey, listen, I will stay with you,
- 41:22Speaker 7: but I'm gonna stay here on the sofa, and if
- 41:23Speaker 7: I hear you need anything, I'm here for you.
- 41:25Speaker 4: Now.
- 41:25Speaker 6: That would have made the dude feel one hundred percent better.
- 41:28Speaker 6: But oh no, h if you that's sick. Go to
- 41:30Speaker 6: the er. I'm bouncing deuces. Okay, cool, Okay, clearly you
- 41:35Speaker 6: ain't what he needs. He just worked, okay, and that's
- 41:37Speaker 6: just a sickness. And I tell this crazy help out
- 41:41Speaker 6: and ran out of money. Bruh, bruh. If you ain't there,
- 41:50Speaker 6: you you That's why I tell people about relationships. Man,
- 41:54Speaker 6: your relationship got to be tested. Go ahead, sutless.
- 41:56Speaker 1: We have another one from Houston. Her name is Let's
- 42:00Speaker 1: see what she says.
- 42:01Speaker 16: Hey, Steve and the crew, this is Marie from Houston, Texas.
- 42:04Speaker 16: I'm calling about the strawberry letter the guys did Tuesday.
- 42:09Speaker 16: He turned out he was too good to be true.
- 42:12Speaker 16: Shirley's like, you know, well, you too, let it go.
- 42:15Speaker 16: And then Steve just went in on this woman because
- 42:19Speaker 16: she wouldn't stay with the man. Baby who wasn't you know,
- 42:23Speaker 16: thoughtful enough, wasn't smart enough to listen to She told
- 42:26Speaker 16: him the tuna fish was bad. He didn't listen. He
- 42:29Speaker 16: scarfed down, and heled a bunch of them anyway, which
- 42:32Speaker 16: is why he wound up being in the bathroom for
- 42:34Speaker 16: a long damn time. And then he's mad because she
- 42:37Speaker 16: wouldn't stay overnight. With him and baby him, And Steve's
- 42:40Speaker 16: all on the on the woman talking about that's why
- 42:42Speaker 16: you that's probably why you ain't got nobody now. Well,
- 42:45Speaker 16: first of all, she had him, and secondly he was
- 42:49Speaker 16: singled who thirty eight years old, no kids, never married,
- 42:53Speaker 16: so that's a that's a bad thing for her to
- 42:57Speaker 16: like still be single at that point, but not for
- 43:00Speaker 16: him as some double standard, Steve, he didn't have no
- 43:02Speaker 16: damn body either before he started dating her the month
- 43:06Speaker 16: before and I kind of I'm tried with the woman.
- 43:09Speaker 16: She didn't feel like staying there.
- 43:11Speaker 1: There han't been dating that damn long.
- 43:12Speaker 16: You're talking about, get some super.
- 43:14Speaker 10: So she didn't feel like it.
- 43:15Speaker 16: And if he's out because of that, oh well, he
- 43:18Speaker 16: sounds like a big old man.
- 43:19Speaker 5: Baby.
- 43:19Speaker 16: If he just listened to her about the dad tunic
- 43:22Speaker 16: fish that began with his ass, wouldn't have gotten food
- 43:25Speaker 16: poisoning sinning.
- 43:26Speaker 1: Steve, you look too hard on her.
- 43:29Speaker 16: Damn him, you know if his ass thirty eight, never
- 43:32Speaker 16: been married and stuff, he didn't it sounded like too
- 43:34Speaker 16: big of a prize of damn self.
- 43:36Speaker 5: Bye, guys, And.
- 43:42Speaker 6: I one hundred percent, I one hundred percent agree with
- 43:45Speaker 6: you too. That's right, baby, Yeah, you said what you said.
- 43:52Speaker 6: That's fine.
- 43:52Speaker 7: That's how you want to view it. That's how you
- 43:54Speaker 7: can view it. But no, ain't nobody got nobody now, damn.
- 43:57Speaker 7: And you know dudes don't listen. Good he should have listened,
- 44:00Speaker 7: but he didn't, now you know. But then you know
- 44:03Speaker 7: she's sitting up here. She's gonna walk away from good
- 44:05Speaker 7: ass man over that right there, y'all keep doing it
- 44:07Speaker 7: like this, you ain't gonna have nobody.

- 54:16Speaker 11: Dear Stephen Shirley. I was married for six years to
- 54:20Speaker 11: a miserable man that had low self esteem, so he
- 54:23Speaker 11: cheated on me multiple times, and I stayed with him
- 54:25Speaker 11: because I didn't earn enough money to take care of
- 54:28Speaker 11: my daughter on my own. Seven years later, and I
- 54:32Speaker 11: am in the same situation, or a very similar situation.
- 54:36Speaker 11: My partner got divorced the same year I did, and
- 54:39Speaker 11: we met at my daughter's school.
- 54:41Speaker 1: He's got a daughter that's two years older.
- 54:43Speaker 11: Than mine, and we agreed that we would keep things
- 54:46Speaker 11: between us so the kids won't feel some type of way.
- 54:50Speaker 1: So the fact that he keeps me hidden is beneficial
- 54:52Speaker 1: to him.
- 54:54Speaker 11: He has had three different women spend the night at
- 54:56Speaker 11: his house lately, and one of the ladies dropped his
- 54:59Speaker 11: daughter off at school in his car. I couldn't ask
- 55:02Speaker 11: the woman any questions, so I questioned him. He said
- 55:07Speaker 11: that woman was an old friend and she was in
- 55:10Speaker 11: town for only one night and he wanted to catch
- 55:13Speaker 11: up with her, so he invited her to stay with him.
- 55:16Speaker 11: Whenever I'm at his house, I snooped to see if
- 55:19Speaker 11: there's any signs that a woman has been over there.
- 55:21Speaker 11: The two other times he had a woman stay over.
- 55:24Speaker 11: He offered up the information. He said he did not
- 55:27Speaker 11: think it was a big deal because I should know
- 55:29Speaker 11: that I am his number one woman.
- 55:32Speaker 1: I want to be the only woman.
- 55:34Speaker 11: But I respect the fact that he's not ready to
- 55:36Speaker 11: get married. He has entertained three other women, and he's
- 55:39Speaker 11: comfortable telling me about it, so I'm sure there have
- 55:42Speaker 11: been more than three. There's no way the women are
- 55:45Speaker 11: staying at his place and there's no sex. I wonder
- 55:48Speaker 11: why he keeps me around. Could he be telling the
- 55:51Speaker 11: truth or is it time for me to go?
- 55:55Speaker 1: Is it time for you to go?
- 55:57Speaker 11: Yes, I think you've stayed way too long already. And
- 56:01Speaker 11: why did you agree to keep it to yourselves for
- 56:03Speaker 11: the kids? Why would you want to be hidden so
- 56:07Speaker 11: the kids won't feel some kind of some type of
- 56:09Speaker 11: way you said?
- 56:10Speaker 1: And what way is that?
- 56:11Speaker 5: I mean?
- 56:12Speaker 11: What would the kids say about their parents dating? What
- 56:15Speaker 11: would they have to say? You were hidden so he
- 56:19Speaker 11: could do whatever he wanted to do, like entertain other women.
- 56:24Speaker 11: In his case, when he says you're his number one woman,
- 56:27Speaker 11: it means you're number one out of the many women
- 56:29Speaker 11: he's dating.
- 56:31Speaker 1: If he doesn't want to get.
- 56:33Speaker 11: Married and you do. You are wasting your time with
- 56:36Speaker 11: this guy. Don't you see that he keeps you around?
- 56:39Speaker 11: You ask why does he keep you around? He keeps
- 56:41Speaker 11: you around because you won't leave. You won't leave this situation.
- 56:45Speaker 11: I mean, this relationship is going nowhere, and as long
- 56:49Speaker 11: as you stay, he's going to keep you around.
- 56:51Speaker 1: Simple as that.
- 56:52Speaker 6: Steve, Lady, you have no self of Steve, and insteaded
- 56:57Speaker 6: further knocking you down.
- 57:00Speaker 7: Give you a couple of suggestions. Let me, let me,
- 57:03Speaker 7: let me try to help you out, because this is
- 57:05Speaker 7: bad right here. You were married for six years to
- 57:09Speaker 7: a miserable man. He had low self esteem. Now, this
- 57:12Speaker 7: is what you say. He had low self esteem, so
- 57:14Speaker 7: he cheated on me multiple times, and I stayed with
- 57:17Speaker 7: him because I didn't earn enough money to take care
- 57:20Speaker 7: of my daughter on my own. Okay, wait a minute,
- 57:25Speaker 7: that don't sound like he got low self esteem. It
- 57:28Speaker 7: sounds like you have low self esteem. I don't think
- 57:32Speaker 7: you understand the narrative of your own letter. You have
- 57:35Speaker 7: got to change your view of yourself. See, let me
- 57:38Speaker 7: help everybody understand something. You can't change nobody but yourself.
- 57:43Speaker 7: You cannot change people. If people don't want to be
- 57:47Speaker 7: changed or are unwilling to. There's nothing you can do.
- 57:51Speaker 7: The only person you can change is yourself. So you
- 57:54Speaker 7: can say he has low self esteem, that's why he
- 57:56Speaker 7: cheated on you.
- 57:57Speaker 6: That ain't why.
- 57:58Speaker 7: That ain't really the reason why me and cheap because
- 58:01Speaker 7: they have low self esteem? That ain't It ain't good reason.
- 58:06Speaker 7: I don't know where you got that one from. But
- 58:09Speaker 7: what the hell is that he cheating because he got
- 58:11Speaker 7: low self?
- 58:12Speaker 6: Misteak? What so he thought? He thought so lower himself?
- 58:18Speaker 7: He convinced three other women to think that he low
- 58:22Speaker 7: enough to sleep with Help me?
- 58:25Speaker 6: You see me over here and it misery? Like, come
- 58:28Speaker 6: on over here and get in this misery within me.
- 58:32Speaker 7: Lady, Come on now now, you didn't want to leave
- 58:35Speaker 7: him because you didn't have enough money to take care
- 58:37Speaker 7: of your daughter on your own. Seven years later, I'm
- 58:39Speaker 7: in the same situation.
- 58:41Speaker 6: Are very similar one.
- 58:43Speaker 7: My partner got divorced the same time you did, and
- 58:45Speaker 7: he met him at your daughter school. He got a
- 58:48Speaker 7: daughter two years older than mine, so we agreed that
- 58:51Speaker 7: we would keep things between us so the.
- 58:53Speaker 6: Kids won't feel some kind of way. What wit what?
- 59:00Speaker 7: Y'all both divorced? Y'all still seeing each other. But y'all
- 59:05Speaker 7: won't keep it a secret so the kids don't feel
- 59:07Speaker 7: some kind of way. I promise you this was his idea. Yeah,
- 59:12Speaker 7: this was all his idea, so the kids won't feel
- 59:15Speaker 7: some type way. So the fact that he keeps me
- 59:18Speaker 7: hidden is beneficial to him. He has had three different
- 59:22Speaker 7: women spend the night at his house lately. Wait a minute, lady,
- 59:25Speaker 7: what and one of the ladies dropped his door off
- 59:29Speaker 7: in school in his car? I couldn't ask a woman
- 59:31Speaker 7: is a question? So I questioned him. He said that
- 59:33Speaker 7: the woman was an old friend. So I questioned him
- 59:36Speaker 7: and said that the woman was an old friend and
- 59:38Speaker 7: she was in town only one night and he wanted
- 59:40Speaker 7: to catch up with.
- 59:40Speaker 6: Her, so it invited her to the house. How the
- 59:43Speaker 6: hell you let a woman who you oh and drop
- 59:48Speaker 6: your baby off in school? Who do that? Hey, come on,
- 59:53Speaker 6: spend the night so we can catch up. Hey take
- 59:55Speaker 6: the baby to school?
- 59:56Speaker 4: What?
- 59:58Speaker 6: Lady? What is wrong with you? You sit up here.
- 1:00:00Speaker 7: Talking about He wanted to keep it between us, and
- 1:00:03Speaker 7: then he didn't have three different women spend the night
- 1:00:05Speaker 7: at the house lately.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: But no, no, no, And you know this, and you.
- 1:00:11Speaker 6: Still dealing with him. See remember the letter when you
- 1:00:14Speaker 6: said he has your first husband had low self esteem
- 1:00:18Speaker 6: because he cheated on you three times, So you'd met
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: another dude with low self esteem and he got three
- 1:00:24Speaker 6: other women to him.
- 1:00:26Speaker 11: Hey on, well, that's part two of your response coming
- 1:00:28Speaker 11: up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry Letters,
- 1:00:32Speaker 11: subject three times in a row?

- 1:01:17Speaker 6: Lady? Should I go?
- 1:01:20Speaker 7: The name of this letter should have been gone after
- 1:01:24Speaker 7: the third time, or then the title of this letter
- 1:01:29Speaker 7: should have been.
- 1:01:31Speaker 6: Oh, y'all must think I'm booboo to fool or something,
- 1:01:36Speaker 6: but not you. Was married six years to a miserable
- 1:01:39Speaker 6: man that had low self fateen so he cheated on
- 1:01:42Speaker 6: you three times.
- 1:01:44Speaker 7: That ain't low self esteeve. He pretty full of himself.

- 1:01:57Speaker 7: Y'all seeing each other, and y'all all agreed to keep
- 1:01:59Speaker 7: things between us so the kids don't feel some kind
- 1:02:02Speaker 7: of way. What So the fact that he keeps me
- 1:02:05Speaker 7: hitting this beneficial to him. He that had three different
- 1:02:09Speaker 7: women spend the night at his house. Lady, Oh, so
- 1:02:12Speaker 7: you'd have met another man with low self esteve by you?
- 1:02:16Speaker 7: I don't know how do you find these all these
- 1:02:18Speaker 7: men with this low self esteeve and that's got all
- 1:02:20Speaker 7: these damn women. What I'm gonna have to go get
- 1:02:24Speaker 7: me some of this damn low self esteeve. I'm looking
- 1:02:27Speaker 7: at this way. I'm really too full of myself. Anyway,
- 1:02:32Speaker 7: and you met one of the ladies who dropped his
- 1:02:34Speaker 7: daughter off at school in his car. You couldn't ask
- 1:02:36Speaker 7: a woman no questions? You say, so, you questioned him.
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: He told you the woman was an old friend. She
- 1:02:41Speaker 6: was in town for one night and he wanted to
- 1:02:43Speaker 6: catch up with her, so he invited her to stay
- 1:02:45Speaker 6: with him.
- 1:02:46Speaker 5: What what.
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: I'd have told y'all about these friends? I keep telling
- 1:02:53Speaker 6: y'all about these male friends.
- 1:02:55Speaker 7: Y'all ain't here, and Uncle Steve, okay, here's another one
- 1:02:58Speaker 7: came through and spent the night. Whenever I'm at the house,
- 1:03:03Speaker 7: and I want to see if there's any signs that
- 1:03:06Speaker 7: a woman has.
- 1:03:07Speaker 6: Been over there.
- 1:03:08Speaker 7: The two other times he had a woman stay over,
- 1:03:11Speaker 7: he offered up the information. He said he didn't think
- 1:03:14Speaker 7: it was a big deal because I should know that
- 1:03:16Speaker 7: I'm his number one woman. I want to be the
- 1:03:19Speaker 7: only woman I respect that he's not ready to get remarried. What, Katie,
- 1:03:24Speaker 7: what is wrong with you? Do you know what's happening here?
- 1:03:27Speaker 7: This man is feeding you garbage and you.
- 1:03:31Speaker 6: Keep eating it?
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: Ye Basically, how.
- 1:03:35Speaker 6: Does taste this stuff that he's saying to you? How
- 1:03:40Speaker 6: this taste? He gave you the information that the two
- 1:03:43Speaker 6: other women's over there. You know what he said to you?
- 1:03:45Speaker 6: You ought to be cool. You know you my number
- 1:03:47Speaker 6: one and then guess what you said.
- 1:03:51Speaker 7: You gave him a past by saying, I respect the
- 1:03:54Speaker 7: fact that he's not ready to get remarried.
- 1:03:58Speaker 6: Remarried. What happened to respecting the fact that he respects you?
- 1:04:05Speaker 7: You ever thought of that? You respect the fact that
- 1:04:09Speaker 7: he's not getting mad. Stop letting these men have all
- 1:04:12Speaker 7: these passes and these excuses with you.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: What is wrong with you?
- 1:04:18Speaker 7: Damn everybody, everybody talk to you something wrong with him,
- 1:04:24Speaker 7: but you make it about you.
- 1:04:26Speaker 6: Your first husband cheated on you three times. He was
- 1:04:28Speaker 6: a miserable man.
- 1:04:29Speaker 7: He had low self esteem to do you dating down
- 1:04:32Speaker 7: at your daughter school, then told you to keep it
- 1:04:34Speaker 7: a secret.
- 1:04:35Speaker 6: He'd haven't been with three other women, and he told you.
- 1:04:39Speaker 6: He told you one of them was just a friend,
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: came spend the night, and the other two. He told
- 1:04:44Speaker 6: you you ought to be cool with it because you
- 1:04:46Speaker 6: know you my number boy. Betty, Come on system, get
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: yourself together, think more of yourself, and stop being involved
- 1:04:56Speaker 6: in relationships that are only beneficial to the other person.
- 1:05:01Speaker 6: You are the most beneficial relationship these guys could be in.
- 1:05:06Speaker 6: He can cheat with you because you made a financial
- 1:05:08Speaker 6: decision to stay with your husband because you didn't have
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: enough money to take care of your daughter. Girl, get
- 1:05:14Speaker 6: over there and get on the struggle bus so you
- 1:05:16Speaker 6: can have some dignity. Now, this other guy feeding you
- 1:05:19Speaker 6: this garbage? You know you number one? What the hell
- 1:05:23Speaker 6: is number one of his eight people?
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: Right?
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: Number one? Out of how many?
- 1:05:26Speaker 4: What is that?
- 1:05:28Speaker 7: I'm the first one half his baby? But he got
- 1:05:30Speaker 7: seven more, seven different Mama? What what you think you special?
- 1:05:36Speaker 7: Because you were the first, he'd have done it six
- 1:05:39Speaker 7: more times?

- 1:05:54Speaker 7: me about it, so I'm sure that have been more
- 1:05:57Speaker 7: than three.
- 1:05:58Speaker 6: Of course it is. There's no way the women are
- 1:06:01Speaker 6: staying in his place, and there's no sex. Okay. I
- 1:06:07Speaker 6: wonder why he keeps me around?
- 1:06:10Speaker 5: You?
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: Wonder why he keep you around?
- 1:06:15Speaker 4: You?
- 1:06:15Speaker 7: You won't know why he keep you around because you easy,
- 1:06:21Speaker 7: You're simple. He can tell you anything and you'll accept it.

- 1:06:32Speaker 7: get some dignity about yourself. I'm gonna tell y'all something
- 1:06:36Speaker 7: about men. We treat you the way you treat yourself.
- 1:06:42Speaker 7: Are y'all listening to me? We treat you the way
- 1:06:46Speaker 7: you treat yourself. If you treat yourself respectful, guess what
- 1:06:50Speaker 7: We're gonna treat you with respect?
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:06:53Speaker 6: If you can let me do anything I want to

- 1:08:31Speaker 7: achilles entry. But that's astonishing that he's even back right now.
- 1:08:37Speaker 7: That's astonished, which is testimony testimony to how well they
- 1:08:41Speaker 7: take care of itself.
- 1:08:43Speaker 6: All right, let's go.
- 1:08:44Speaker 8: Let's go to the NBA Golden State Warriors basketball star
- 1:08:47Speaker 8: Draymond Green is back from a five game suspension, and
- 1:08:51Speaker 8: he said he dos no regrets for his actions whatsoever.
- 1:08:55Speaker 8: Now you gotta remember, Draymond put Minnesota Timerwills center Rudy
- 1:08:58Speaker 8: Gobert in a headlocked back on November fourteenth, and he
- 1:09:03Speaker 8: was taking up for his teammate Klay Thompson. So what
- 1:09:07Speaker 8: you think, big dog, is Draymond doing too much? Man,
- 1:09:10Speaker 8: because he can't control I mean dog. He said, I
- 1:09:13Speaker 8: have no regrets. I was taking up for my team.
- 1:09:16Speaker 6: Man. I ain't mad at him.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: The NBA was saying unsportsmanlike conduct.
- 1:09:20Speaker 8: I don't think it's gonna stop. I think that's just
- 1:09:22Speaker 8: who Draymond is. I mean he taking up for his boys.
- 1:09:24Speaker 8: But that's just who Draymond is. And he's light skinning.
- 1:09:28Speaker 8: Boys gonna have to start fighting. Quit leaving it up
- 1:09:30Speaker 8: to Draymond. Now, they gonna have to.
- 1:09:31Speaker 5: Talk for you.
- 1:09:32Speaker 7: That's one thing. See, light skinned people don't like to scrap.
- 1:09:38Speaker 7: That's why I that's her du dog. That's why all
- 1:09:40Speaker 7: my friends are dogs. Did exactly why I write. Do
- 1:09:44Speaker 7: not have no high yell ass friend. Uh huh, I'm
- 1:09:48Speaker 7: not gonna do it all. My friend has a dog. Dude, Man,
- 1:09:52Speaker 7: come on home and let's go. Draymond and here getting
- 1:09:56Speaker 7: suspended five game called Clayton. Oh, I like, I love Draymon, man,
- 1:10:02Speaker 7: I'm with you. Hold away and he head locked another

- 1:11:40Speaker 11: This is from Bill on Steve HARVEYFM. Bill says, over
- 1:11:43Speaker 11: the last couple of years, the homes in my neighborhood
- 1:11:47Speaker 11: have been hit hard by thieves stealing holiday packages. I've
- 1:11:51Speaker 11: installed a doorbell camera, but it's still a problem. Aside
- 1:11:54Speaker 11: from putting up fake packages, pain inducing mousetraps, what are
- 1:11:58Speaker 11: some other steps can take to make sure the gifts
- 1:12:01Speaker 11: I order aren't stolen by porch thieves again this year?
- 1:12:05Speaker 11: All thoughts are wanted and appreciated from the guy who
- 1:12:09Speaker 11: loves to get packages delivered.
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: Steve.
- 1:12:12Speaker 6: Well, bro, I'm just calling. I don't know why you
- 1:12:19Speaker 6: called me, but.
- 1:12:22Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:12:26Speaker 6: Nothing.
- 1:12:28Speaker 7: Nothing can solve this problem better then headlines on eleven
- 1:12:34Speaker 7: o'clock leave nothing, ladies and general details at eleven all packages.
- 1:12:47Speaker 6: Thelves have stopped on the old main Street details at eleven.
- 1:12:55Speaker 6: You could do something like this warning warning.
- 1:13:02Speaker 7: The next pack. I said, this is what I think
- 1:13:04Speaker 7: y'all should do. Okay, okay, let's let's let's scrap all that.
- 1:13:07Speaker 7: Here's the better way. All of your neighbors, y'all should
- 1:13:10Speaker 7: get together at the Homeown Association meetings and all y'all
- 1:13:13Speaker 7: printed signs up it had the same sign in your yard.
- 1:13:18Speaker 7: Next person come up here and steal a package, that's
- 1:13:21Speaker 7: your ass, put that in the yard. Yeah, just put
- 1:13:30Speaker 7: that in the yard. And if it's in every house, y'all,
- 1:13:34Speaker 7: a person coming down the street and see that sign
- 1:13:37Speaker 7: in every yard, what I like it? I really do
- 1:13:42Speaker 7: like that can cut it out. That's what I think
- 1:13:46Speaker 7: would stop it the most. But y'all all, y'all had
- 1:13:48Speaker 7: to put the.
- 1:13:49Speaker 6: Same sign out.
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: They discussed.
- 1:13:55Speaker 14: Yeah, but what if somebody doesn't agree to do it
- 1:13:58Speaker 14: on that on that street, you still still go with it.
- 1:14:02Speaker 7: See, yeah, it's always gonna be somebody. But listen to me,
- 1:14:05Speaker 7: all of y'all make extra signs m M. And then
- 1:14:09Speaker 7: and at night go down there and hamm it in
- 1:14:11Speaker 7: their yard.
- 1:14:14Speaker 6: But I think that'll work though. I like that had
- 1:14:18Speaker 6: that in their yard in a damn way, they probably
- 1:14:20Speaker 6: ain't even gonna see it.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I think the signs will work though with the
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: with the message.
- 1:14:24Speaker 7: I think that's if all of y'all, the next person
- 1:14:29Speaker 7: we come up on these porches and take a package,
- 1:14:32Speaker 7: that's your ass, and I'm telling you that street right there, Hey, man,
- 1:14:37Speaker 7: you see them signs ain't got every watching, they said,
- 1:14:41Speaker 7: every yard.
- 1:14:42Speaker 6: Dumay.
- 1:14:44Speaker 11: We hope that helps you, Bill, because Bill just puts
- 1:14:46Speaker 11: out fake packages. He puts out puts out mousetraps, and
- 1:14:52Speaker 11: so he wanted to know another step you.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: So Bill, there you go. I like one more time, Steve,
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: one more time.
- 1:15:00Speaker 7: All y'all shit had the same sign block punt uh huh,
- 1:15:05Speaker 7: white white sign, black letters read underline. The next person
- 1:15:12Speaker 7: come up on this porch and take a package, dash
- 1:15:16Speaker 7: your ass.
- 1:15:18Speaker 6: If you see farny at them signs, they ain't.
- 1:15:20Speaker 4: Know where this.
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: All right, thank you, Steve.
- 1:15:27Speaker 11: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:15:29Speaker 11: up at twenty minutes after the hour.

- 1:16:08Speaker 11: the day in Dallas.
- 1:16:12Speaker 6: Yeah, well I first discovered her talent. I didn't discover her.
- 1:16:17Speaker 6: I'm just saying discovered her talent. So I used to play,
- 1:16:21Speaker 6: you know only I only know three songs on.
- 1:16:23Speaker 7: Keyboard, and I had Offender Rhodes and I would sit
- 1:16:26Speaker 7: on the keyboard and play for Erica and we wrote
- 1:16:29Speaker 7: the album. We wrote an album called Section eight and
- 1:16:32Speaker 7: all our songs was about being pope.
- 1:16:35Speaker 6: And Erica would stay out there insane and I said, man,
- 1:16:40Speaker 6: this little girl right here. It's kind of crazy, but.
- 1:16:43Speaker 7: Man, this little girls and she thanked me and all that,

- 1:20:49Speaker 11: the day on this Thursday.
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: It's been a good day.
- 1:20:53Speaker 11: Yeah, last day of the month, last day of the
- 1:20:56Speaker 11: eleventh month of the year.
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: One more month to go?
- 1:21:01Speaker 6: And then what what?
- 1:21:02Speaker 5: What?
- 1:21:02Speaker 6: What's y'all say?
- 1:21:05Speaker 4: Then?
- 1:21:05Speaker 5: We still.
- 1:21:07Speaker 4: Here?
- 1:21:08Speaker 6: Y'all scared me for the hell? Y'all mean?
- 1:21:10Speaker 4: This is it? Yeah?
- 1:21:11Speaker 7: This is it, the last day of the month to
- 1:21:15Speaker 7: help and have something. Man, it didn't sounds that didn't
- 1:21:18Speaker 7: sound hopeful of nothing.
- 1:21:20Speaker 6: This is November thirtieth. It's still the last day of
- 1:21:24Speaker 6: the month. Yeah, we almost at the end of the year.
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: This is it to help and have something?
- 1:21:30Speaker 6: Man, it didn't sounds that didn't sound hopeful of nothing.
- 1:21:34Speaker 6: This is November thirtieth, It's still the last day of
- 1:21:38Speaker 6: the month. Yeah, we almost at the end of the year.
- 1:21:40Speaker 4: This is it.
- 1:21:42Speaker 6: Damn man. I'm sitting there going, man, did I did
- 1:21:46Speaker 6: I miss the memo?
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: Always hopeful? Always?
- 1:21:50Speaker 6: I want to do a.
- 1:21:51Speaker 7: Brief recap of today and what Timmy asked me a
- 1:21:57Speaker 7: question at the beginning of the day. He said, Hey, man,
- 1:22:00Speaker 7: what's the best thing happened to you this year? And
- 1:22:03Speaker 7: the worst thing? And you know, it was at the
- 1:22:06Speaker 7: beginning of the show, and I just kind of want
- 1:22:08Speaker 7: recap that for a moment because, you know what, and
- 1:22:11Speaker 7: I answered it because I discovered the best thing that
- 1:22:14Speaker 7: happened to me this year was at sixty six. I'm
- 1:22:20Speaker 7: really starting to understand for the first time how to
- 1:22:26Speaker 7: trust in God's timing, because that has been a real
- 1:22:32Speaker 7: problem for me my entire life. I'm just being real
- 1:22:35Speaker 7: with you because I just I love God, but I
- 1:22:40Speaker 7: just want things to happen when I wanted to happen.
- 1:22:47Speaker 7: You know, I'm praying, and I'm going, man, I keep praying.
- 1:22:53Speaker 7: What's the hold up? You said, ask and you shall receive.
- 1:22:59Speaker 7: But I know this as I read that verse, asking
- 1:23:02Speaker 7: you shall receive it, don't ever say next week, day.
- 1:23:08Speaker 6: After the moth, in a little while, as soon as
- 1:23:13Speaker 6: you get up, it's coming it.
- 1:23:15Speaker 7: Don't ever say that. It just say ask and you
- 1:23:20Speaker 7: shall receive. And I've had trouble with that, trusting in
- 1:23:26Speaker 7: his timing.
- 1:23:27Speaker 6: I just really have. And this is the first year
- 1:23:33Speaker 6: that I've really really focused on it and understood it.
- 1:23:38Speaker 7: I have two things that I've been working on. What
- 1:23:42Speaker 7: what year did COVID start? Anybody know the year it started? Yeah,
- 1:23:51Speaker 7: twenty at the very beginning of twenty twenty. Yeah, Trunk
- 1:23:55Speaker 7: was president in March, Yeah Trump Trump was president. Yeah,
- 1:24:04Speaker 7: that right there was when I started this one deal,
- 1:24:10Speaker 7: and then I started another deal that I know in
- 1:24:16Speaker 7: twenty twenty one. Do you know that neither one of
- 1:24:19Speaker 7: those deals are done, but they're still in discussion and
- 1:24:24Speaker 7: they're still so close now. The one that's I started
- 1:24:30Speaker 7: at the beginning of COVID. I have been discussing that
- 1:24:35Speaker 7: one a year prior to that. Steal no deal, this
- 1:24:41Speaker 7: deal that's so close again. I started that over two
- 1:24:45Speaker 7: years ago, Steal no Deal, and I have had to
- 1:24:49Speaker 7: come to terms with that that is coming, but it's
- 1:24:52Speaker 7: coming in God's timing. And I've just ca you know what,
- 1:24:56Speaker 7: I've just really this year just had to realize my
- 1:24:59Speaker 7: timing in God. God's timing is way off. It's way off,
- 1:25:04Speaker 7: and I just really just had to come to terms
- 1:25:06Speaker 7: with that.
- 1:25:06Speaker 6: Man, you trip in, Steve, because you keep you know,
- 1:25:10Speaker 6: A lady told me one time, Gloria Tucker, She's passed
- 1:25:13Speaker 6: Gloria Tuck Frank Tuck's system.
- 1:25:16Speaker 7: She said, you can't tell God how to bless you. See,
- 1:25:23Speaker 7: you can't ask God for something and then tell him
- 1:25:26Speaker 7: how to go about doing it. He said, you have
- 1:25:30Speaker 7: no idea because his ways are so much different than yours.
- 1:25:35Speaker 7: It's his ways is as different, it's as high above
- 1:25:37Speaker 7: yours as.
- 1:25:38Speaker 6: The heaven is of the earth. And I've just had
- 1:25:41Speaker 6: to come to term with that.
- 1:25:42Speaker 7: And that's probably the best lesson I've learned this year,
- 1:25:44Speaker 7: to just keep trusting in God's timing and it will
- 1:25:48Speaker 7: always work out.
- 1:25:49Speaker 6: Because what I.
- 1:25:49Speaker 7: Realized was He's never had me be without after certain
- 1:25:55Speaker 7: now I've been without before now, but of late.
- 1:25:58Speaker 6: I have never had to go without. It's been some
- 1:26:00Speaker 6: close calls, it's been wholed right up to the wire,
- 1:26:05Speaker 6: but he always comes through.
- 1:26:08Speaker 7: He ain't ever late. God is never late, man, So
- 1:26:12Speaker 7: that's the most valuable thing. And then Tommy said, what's
- 1:26:15Speaker 7: the worst thing? Go ahead, tom you gonna say something.
- 1:26:17Speaker 7: I was gonna say something, my daddy. Just tell me say.
- 1:26:19Speaker 6: When you understand that God is never late, you wait different. Yeah.
- 1:26:27Speaker 7: Now you understand that he's never late, you just you
- 1:26:29Speaker 7: wait differently, You wait different. And that's really, Tommy, what
- 1:26:34Speaker 7: I'm coming to. I just learned how to wait different.
- 1:26:37Speaker 7: I keep whistling Dixie because I know he coming, because he.
- 1:26:40Speaker 6: Never been late. That's the amazing thing. When you know.
- 1:26:45Speaker 7: He coming, you wait different, boy, that's the true thing.
- 1:26:48Speaker 7: I'm gonna keep that one. And then he asked me,
- 1:26:50Speaker 7: what's the worst thing happened to me? I gave my
- 1:26:55Speaker 7: cell number the wrong person. Is the worst damn thing
- 1:27:03Speaker 7: I did this year?
- 1:27:04Speaker 6: What are they do? You are they blocked?
- 1:27:06Speaker 4: Dog?
- 1:27:07Speaker 7: It was blocked, man, because then the key one of
- 1:27:10Speaker 7: them tech dudes here. No, I just hey, man, what
- 1:27:14Speaker 7: you doing?
- 1:27:15Speaker 4: The hell? You mean?
- 1:27:16Speaker 6: What I'm doing?
- 1:27:18Speaker 4: Doug?
- 1:27:19Speaker 6: You ain't one of my kids. Wyd what the hell
- 1:27:22Speaker 6: you mean, Doug? You're sixty here, you mean?
- 1:27:24Speaker 4: What?
- 1:27:24Speaker 6: Wyd the worst thing I've ever done?
- 1:27:27Speaker 4: This year?
- 1:27:27Speaker 6: Y'all have a great day, man, and think about.
