- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your things. Uh huh, I sure will. A
- 2:03Speaker 1: good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only Steve Harley got a
- 2:10Speaker 1: radio show. We got a good for you today. I
- 2:13Speaker 1: was thinking about on the way in. You know, yesterday
- 2:18Speaker 1: was a really, really trying day for me. There's a
- 2:20Speaker 1: lot of work yesterday and I was up. I've gotten
- 2:24Speaker 1: so tired at one point man that But you know,
- 2:28Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, I had no one to to
- 2:30Speaker 1: to explain it to. You know, mom. The fellas that
- 2:33Speaker 1: travel with me, they just go, they just go. You know,
- 2:36Speaker 1: they know where I gotta be. They get me in place,
- 2:39Speaker 1: you know, blah blah blah. But you know, you know,
- 2:44Speaker 1: right about when I'm about to complain about it out loud,
- 2:50Speaker 1: I also find all of the incredible reasons that I
- 2:55Speaker 1: have to be grateful, and it kind of slows down
- 2:58Speaker 1: to complain it a little bit. Now, I'm not saying
- 3:00Speaker 1: that our days. Man, why I don't verbalize my fatigue
- 3:04Speaker 1: or I don't verbalize my man I wish I didn't
- 3:07Speaker 1: have to work so hard, or man, but but but
- 3:10Speaker 1: but but yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah. But when
- 3:12Speaker 1: I get through with that, I have so many reasons
- 3:15Speaker 1: to be grateful that it does slow it down, you know,
- 3:19Speaker 1: And sometimes it might the majority terms just flat out
- 3:21Speaker 1: stops it because I end up laughing at myself because,
- 3:25Speaker 1: you know, it's so many things are happening to me
- 3:28Speaker 1: beyond my belief, beyond what I asked God for. So
- 3:32Speaker 1: there's just some extreme blessings going on in my life.
- 3:35Speaker 1: But man, man o, man o, man have I paid?
- 3:39Speaker 1: And that that's the part I want to talk to
- 3:41Speaker 1: you about today. You know, see a lot of people
- 3:43Speaker 1: look at other people and they see what they think
- 3:46Speaker 1: is the finished product. They don't realize that all of us,
- 3:51Speaker 1: no matter who we are, are still a work in progress.
- 3:54Speaker 1: That I have many flaws, that I have many problems
- 3:56Speaker 1: and have many situations that come up, you know, just
- 3:59Speaker 1: like anybody else. You know, I'm no different from that,
- 4:02Speaker 1: you know. You know, life happens for me just like
- 4:05Speaker 1: it happens for you. It may happen in different ways,
- 4:10Speaker 1: but just like you know, if it's something comes up
- 4:12Speaker 1: at an inconvenient time for you, it pops up for me.
- 4:15Speaker 1: You know, if something happens for me that seems unfair,
- 4:19Speaker 1: I know that it's happening to somebody else unfairly. But
- 4:23Speaker 1: you know, um, I find myself being grateful the majority
- 4:31Speaker 1: of the time. I can't say all the time because
- 4:34Speaker 1: I'm a human being, and sometimes I find myself complaining
- 4:37Speaker 1: about it all, you know, But but I try, for
- 4:39Speaker 1: the most part to stay grateful, to stay focused, and
- 4:43Speaker 1: it allows me to keep the wheels churning. But now
- 4:47Speaker 1: I wanna I want to share something with you about
- 4:52Speaker 1: your road to success. You know you've heard me say
- 4:55Speaker 1: this probably a hundred times now. The road to success
- 4:59Speaker 1: is always under construction, it really is. So here's here's
- 5:05Speaker 1: what I want you to expect on your way to changing,
- 5:10Speaker 1: on your way to becoming successful, on your way to
- 5:13Speaker 1: achieving your goals on your way to getting better. I
- 5:19Speaker 1: want you to expect many difficulties. Once again, the road
- 5:27Speaker 1: to con the road to success is always under construction.
- 5:32Speaker 1: I want you to expect many difficulties. But here is
- 5:36Speaker 1: the deal between successful people and non successful people. It's
- 5:41Speaker 1: how they deal with the difficulties. That's the only difference.
- 5:49Speaker 1: It's how you deal with the difficulties, how you handle
- 5:53Speaker 1: the setbacks, how well you get up after you've been
- 5:57Speaker 1: knocked down. That's happening to all of us, none of us,
- 6:01Speaker 1: none of us are exempt from that. You're going to fall,
- 6:06Speaker 1: You're going to be pushed, you're going to be run over,
- 6:11Speaker 1: You're going to be tackled, you are going to be
- 6:16Speaker 1: lied about. You are going to have setbacks. That's a
- 6:22Speaker 1: part of the journey. But how do you handle them?
- 6:26Speaker 1: How well do you do you handle everything? See? I
- 6:29Speaker 1: want you to understand something. When you set out to
- 6:33Speaker 1: be successful, he is difficult. Pet Pablo, who have probably people?
- 6:38Speaker 1: What is he about to quote? Pete Pablo? He had
- 6:41Speaker 1: a uh a rap album out called Diary of a Cinner,
- 6:47Speaker 1: and it was really, man my favorite rap album of
- 6:50Speaker 1: all time because he said some things about his life
- 6:55Speaker 1: that I could so relate to. I can't think of
- 6:59Speaker 1: the name of the song right now, but there is
- 7:01Speaker 1: a lyric a stands in one of his songs that says,
- 7:05Speaker 1: I had a half a tank of gas, two cigarettes,
- 7:08Speaker 1: scraping up change in an ash tray, and a voice said,
- 7:14Speaker 1: it's only a test of my faith. It said, I
- 7:20Speaker 1: had a half a tank of gas, two cigarettes, scraping
- 7:24Speaker 1: up change in an ash tray, but a voice said
- 7:29Speaker 1: it was only a test of my faith. Here's a
- 7:33Speaker 1: deal your faith, which is the belief in things that
- 7:37Speaker 1: you cannot see. When you say I'm going to make it,
- 7:41Speaker 1: I'm going to be successful at it. I'm going to
- 7:43Speaker 1: finish college. I'm going to achieve my goal. I'm going
- 7:47Speaker 1: to be a better husband. I'm going to be a
- 7:49Speaker 1: better father. I'm going to be a better wife. I'm
- 7:52Speaker 1: going to be a better mother. I'm going to be
- 7:55Speaker 1: a better student. I'm going to be rich. I'm going
- 7:59Speaker 1: to start do and more for other people. I'm going
- 8:01Speaker 1: to help the less fortunate. Whatever you say when you're
- 8:05Speaker 1: sending that prayer up, when you declare that faith, the
- 8:10Speaker 1: devil hears your prayer to Now a sad thing about
- 8:14Speaker 1: the devil is. He's busy seven and he has people
- 8:20Speaker 1: that works for him. It's some imps out there that
- 8:25Speaker 1: ain't up to no good. You all know them. You've
- 8:28Speaker 1: all run across them. They always putting shade on somebody.
- 8:35Speaker 1: They always barking at somebody. They always knocking somebody down.
- 8:40Speaker 1: These people that they just busy for Satan. What you
- 8:45Speaker 1: gotta be careful of is that occasionally you don't become
- 8:48Speaker 1: one of those people. See so when these people, when
- 8:54Speaker 1: when the devil hears is prayer that you set up
- 8:56Speaker 1: or what you're gonna be successful at, then your faith
- 9:00Speaker 1: is going to be tested. He got people man to
- 9:04Speaker 1: come in there and try to knock you off that course.
- 9:06Speaker 1: So you can get on back to this old woe
- 9:09Speaker 1: is me. I ain't gonna ever be nothing. The uh
- 9:12Speaker 1: man seemed like every time I try to get back up,
- 9:15Speaker 1: I getting knocked right back. Now, once he gets you
- 9:17Speaker 1: saying that enough times, then he can start implementing some
- 9:22Speaker 1: other programs. Come on, man, let's sell this dope. We
- 9:26Speaker 1: can't get no job. Now here you go. You're off track.
- 9:30Speaker 1: You're going you other way. Now he got you, He
- 9:32Speaker 1: got you tied up. Now to the port where he
- 9:34Speaker 1: can get you locked up, or he can get your
- 9:36Speaker 1: killed and lose your soul. So now he had worked
- 9:39Speaker 1: busy he all day. What you got to be mindful
- 9:43Speaker 1: of is that your faith will be tested, that it's
- 9:47Speaker 1: going to be difficult to get to where you are,
- 9:49Speaker 1: and you got to stay in prayer all the time,
- 9:52Speaker 1: talking to your creator about strengthening you for the journey.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You have to be strengthened for the journey. That's all
- 10:00Speaker 1: you're asking for, because the journey is the journey. You
- 10:04Speaker 1: can stop asking God to remove all these problems in
- 10:07Speaker 1: these situations because it ain't gonna happen these out of
- 10:10Speaker 1: test of our faith. This determines how bad you want it.
- 10:15Speaker 1: What I'm saying to you this morning is stay focused,
- 10:18Speaker 1: stay prayerful, stay on point, get ready for him. Understand
- 10:22Speaker 1: that it's just to test to your faith. That your
- 10:25Speaker 1: faith will be tested. But you got to stay the course. Man,
- 10:29Speaker 1: You got to stay the course. It's all right, you
- 10:34Speaker 1: will be fine in due time, but you gotta give
- 10:38Speaker 1: some of this stuff a chance to play itself out.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Because nothing lasts forever. Ain't no pain forever, all right.
- 10:46Speaker 1: I'm just trying to help you with that, because boy,
- 10:49Speaker 1: I'm dealing with it all the time. Stay prayerful. God
- 10:54Speaker 1: got help for you. All right, let's go to ladies
- 11:01Speaker 1: and gentlemen, boys and girls, people all around the world,
- 11:04Speaker 1: please gather yourselves around the radio, because things are about to,
- 11:08Speaker 1: in the words of them, pop off. We would like
- 11:11Speaker 1: to have your undivided attention as we partake on the
- 11:15Speaker 1: rather scrupulous journey of rhetoric. A foolish schnish laughtery and harbachery. Oh,
- 11:25Speaker 1: I think the word is delbauchery. But when you heard ready,
- 11:29Speaker 1: either one of them will suffice. Ladies and gentlemen. Mr
- 11:33Speaker 1: Steve Harvard Morning Show, you invited to come along. I'm Steve,
- 11:37Speaker 1: this Shirley, Hey, just call them. Hey, Junior, everybody visit
- 11:44Speaker 1: the food. We're about to pop to pop to pop out. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 11:49Speaker 1: What's going on, everybody. I'm feeling pretty good today. You
- 11:57Speaker 1: sound good? Why not? Because it's the last day of
- 12:00Speaker 1: my detok all right, so take us through the day.
- 12:03Speaker 1: What do you do today? Well, it's been no carbs
- 12:06Speaker 1: for a week, preparing my body for my final detox treatment.
- 12:11Speaker 1: It has slowed my brain down quite a bit. I'm
- 12:14Speaker 1: not as sharp as I normally am. But supposedly, after this,
- 12:17Speaker 1: I'm supposed to be and Tommy, you're gonna have to
- 12:20Speaker 1: get on this therapy. After this, I should be a
- 12:24Speaker 1: little bit more attractive. What what does a s But
- 12:33Speaker 1: that was pretty sharp. You're there, you're there, tell me
- 12:36Speaker 1: you're on it now. I did a week. I'm suggesting
- 12:41Speaker 1: to you a month now. So you ain't ugly nor more.
- 12:47Speaker 1: I ain't saying it ain't ugly nor more. I'm gonna
- 12:49Speaker 1: be a little more attractive. We're never gonna be fine
- 12:53Speaker 1: in this family. I just need you to come along
- 12:55Speaker 1: and get on board. People like saying you look good.
- 13:00Speaker 1: I'm saying you. Have you taken a look at these
- 13:02Speaker 1: selfish you'd be sending up. It's the same, just the
- 13:05Speaker 1: exact same. Nobody hates my facial facial and that's the
- 13:09Speaker 1: polls that he thinks cute. Yeah, yeah, looking dead down
- 13:13Speaker 1: at him. No, Tommy, nobody just never told it to you.
- 13:17Speaker 1: I happen to have heard it you, sir, for some
- 13:22Speaker 1: ungodly reason. I think the fact that you shot a
- 13:24Speaker 1: lot of people want to hurt you no more. They
- 13:27Speaker 1: figured because I was tall I could take You're gonna
- 13:29Speaker 1: crush him. Steve he's not. He's not gonna crush me today.
- 13:33Speaker 1: I'm not gonna let it happen. So Steve, you're just
- 13:35Speaker 1: gonna start the show crushing. Yeah, I'm not going to
- 13:38Speaker 1: do this at the gate with it because he taking
- 13:41Speaker 1: up he take an unattractive attractive therapy about to be Yeah, yeah,
- 13:50Speaker 1: Actually he's trying to help you tell me if you
- 13:52Speaker 1: really look at it. So you're saying I'm unattractive exactly right, No,
- 14:03Speaker 1: I want to hear. Oh, you're cute as a button.
- 14:06Speaker 1: You're cute as a button. You didn't need a jab
- 14:11Speaker 1: in there. But button was a jail, right, take the
- 14:16Speaker 1: oi and all so, so anyway that you you'll have
- 14:23Speaker 1: to tell us what you're gonna eat and stuff anyway, Um, alright,
- 14:26Speaker 1: it's time. Something funny is coming up as we prepare
- 14:30Speaker 1: for Thanksgiving and the stress of the holidays and all
- 14:33Speaker 1: of that. Uh, family gatherings can lead to some tense moments.
- 14:36Speaker 1: We'll talk about that when we come back, uh at
- 14:39Speaker 1: thirty two after the hour with something funny. You're listening
- 14:43Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Thanksgiving next week? Wow?
- 14:48Speaker 1: Did it come fast this year? Here we're all gathering
- 14:52Speaker 1: around the Thanksgiving table dinner conversations. It can be a
- 14:55Speaker 1: little tent you know. So we just want you guys
- 14:58Speaker 1: to prepare with some phrases that you should avoid at
- 15:02Speaker 1: holiday dinners so we can just you know, all have
- 15:04Speaker 1: a good time with our family and friends. Okay, Like
- 15:07Speaker 1: for instance, yeah, okay, for instance, Steve Um, when you
- 15:11Speaker 1: start a sentence with you should have you should have?
- 15:16Speaker 1: You know, the words should you know can make a
- 15:19Speaker 1: person feel judged or disappointed. You see where I'm going
- 15:23Speaker 1: with that? You should have left somebody else fire? Yeah, yeah,
- 15:29Speaker 1: that's hurtful. Yeah, yeah, you should have you should have
- 15:33Speaker 1: left the marshmallows acting YAMG, that's like that. I'm with you.
- 15:37Speaker 1: I'm with you on that hurt over. How about this?
- 15:44Speaker 1: I know it's pot look, but you should have just
- 15:46Speaker 1: came there ain't no luck in your Yeah, stuff like that, Steve,
- 15:58Speaker 1: you got it? Or you know saying that? Yeah, avoid
- 16:02Speaker 1: saying this, you know, because this is definitely this could
- 16:05Speaker 1: start one right here. Um, can you believe what your
- 16:09Speaker 1: president just did? You can't start? Yeah? Yeah, it can
- 16:14Speaker 1: lead to an argument and a fight, you know, politics.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Everybody in agreement on my family, My family all good
- 16:20Speaker 1: with that. That's gonna get the party popping right there. Okay, alright,
- 16:23Speaker 1: you're not gonna avoid saying it. Oh no, no, no.
- 16:26Speaker 1: You can talk politics at my house. Everybody at my
- 16:29Speaker 1: house in the same political mindset. We don't have, you know,
- 16:37Speaker 1: because you are Republican at the table, you need to
- 16:39Speaker 1: keep it to you. You won't be Okay, let's get
- 16:45Speaker 1: back to my daddy's house. Uh huh, let's get back
- 16:48Speaker 1: to the food for a minute. How about this one.
- 16:51Speaker 1: You know, the best turkey I ever had was say
- 17:01Speaker 1: it again, the best turkey I ever had was my mom.
- 17:08Speaker 1: You can't say that. Yeah, that'll set it off. You
- 17:17Speaker 1: don't have to always tell the truth though, No, no, no, no,
- 17:22Speaker 1: she wants again. Y'all need to make up y'all, man,
- 17:26Speaker 1: did you all want us to be Trump? Or you won't?
- 17:28Speaker 1: These last were good with lying on Thanksgiving, it's a
- 17:33Speaker 1: good time to ask that question. Yeah, you know, like, uh,
- 17:39Speaker 1: if you start a sentence with what are you going
- 17:41Speaker 1: to learn how to cook? Don't do that when you're
- 17:50Speaker 1: gonna finally let him go. Okay, that's the one. Because
- 17:55Speaker 1: you don't want to make anyone feel defensive or put
- 17:58Speaker 1: anyone on the spot or anything like family is when
- 18:00Speaker 1: is you gonna stop using drugs? Really? Yeah? What's gonna
- 18:10Speaker 1: come out? I don't know why we see a bag
- 18:12Speaker 1: like ain't I don't know what's wrong with you. I
- 18:15Speaker 1: want to go to your house, but just come out
- 18:18Speaker 1: in fifteen minutes, be able to take You're lying If
- 18:23Speaker 1: it starts off with that, yeah, I believe you was
- 18:26Speaker 1: walking the dope. When is you gonna stop using? You
- 18:31Speaker 1: show up every you're looking like this? How about this right?
- 18:38Speaker 1: How about this right here? Say somewhere where I can
- 18:40Speaker 1: see where you going? Bathroom? Ain't that way? Ain't no
- 18:48Speaker 1: bathroom that way? And you know, trying not to open
- 18:53Speaker 1: up a conversation or start a sentence with when are
- 18:56Speaker 1: you going to? Don't do that one? Or remember the
- 19:01Speaker 1: time you see my uncle Everett, thanks having used to
- 19:12Speaker 1: go he was drunk and time geo bowl ain't nobody
- 19:20Speaker 1: won't dear bust out laughing, everybody laughing. But wait a minute,
- 19:27Speaker 1: wait a minute, up, did you hear about Don't start
- 19:30Speaker 1: it with that one, because that could mean yeah, you
- 19:33Speaker 1: gossiping about you know somebody exactly what what did you
- 19:39Speaker 1: hear about your husband? Oh? That's gonna get it started
- 19:42Speaker 1: right there in the back room with Coral Cora. Not
- 19:47Speaker 1: Cora Cora. Yeah, those are just conversation starters. You don't
- 19:52Speaker 1: do that. Yeah, Oh that's gonna happen Thanksgiving, Thirsty, trust me,
- 19:57Speaker 1: that's gonna happen. Well, I'll admit this. None of that
- 20:00Speaker 1: happens at my house because I have no one at
- 20:03Speaker 1: my house on Thanksgiving. As big as you create, nobody
- 20:07Speaker 1: create no drama. Not in my house. Okay, I thought
- 20:11Speaker 1: you were saying you had no one at your house.
- 20:13Speaker 1: I was like, as big as your family is, Steve, Oh,
- 20:15Speaker 1: the house gonna be packed. Yeah. I don't do drama. Yeah,
- 20:19Speaker 1: not at the house. Everybody know. Don't ask me to play.
- 20:21Speaker 1: I don't do that. You know, the game night, I
- 20:24Speaker 1: might come in there for a couple of minutes, but
- 20:25Speaker 1: that's it. Y'all know what I'm doing. I'm gonna eat
- 20:29Speaker 1: and I'm sitting in front of this TV. I'm staring
- 20:32Speaker 1: at it. Sometimes you're gonna come in there and the
- 20:34Speaker 1: TV gonna be staying at me. Just walk back out.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Don't come in here. Just in the heat I wanted this.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Won't keep leeping. The five places on, don't cut it
- 20:45Speaker 1: all so you don't mind them being in your house.
- 20:47Speaker 1: A lot of people just don't bother you. Let you
- 20:50Speaker 1: have your space. Yeah both. Marjorie's really good at that too,
- 20:55Speaker 1: because she tells him this Steve that Steve all don't
- 20:59Speaker 1: bring your friends, and your friends won't pitch us. Yeah, yeah,
- 21:06Speaker 1: that ain't happen. Meanwhile, at our house, all they want
- 21:09Speaker 1: to talk about is you. Yes, Steve, come on, Yeah,
- 21:17Speaker 1: I just hate when they want me to tell Steve
- 21:18Speaker 1: something for the plays, tell him give them. Can you
- 21:23Speaker 1: just give us to Steve for me? Just the best seller? Right,
- 21:27Speaker 1: we just get it to Steve. I'm not going to
- 21:30Speaker 1: get the one kill me. Okay, I got this book,
- 21:34Speaker 1: a man, I want you to read. I didn't read
- 21:37Speaker 1: before I wrote. Ain't coming up coming up at the
- 21:42Speaker 1: top of the hour, Miss san is gonna be here
- 21:45Speaker 1: with today's national news and headlines. But up next it's
- 21:48Speaker 1: the nephew with run that prank back. You're listening to
- 21:52Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, nephew, let's go. What
- 21:56Speaker 1: you got time for running? Oh? I got one for you?
- 22:00Speaker 1: You ever had this? Read this book? It had change
- 22:03Speaker 1: your life? It ain't did nothing? Yeah, you got a
- 22:09Speaker 1: matter of fact, that same swater you won't last. I'm
- 22:13Speaker 1: trying to figure out what the change has been in
- 22:18Speaker 1: that's the same car you had six Thanksgiving six. Huh,
- 22:25Speaker 1: what's the change now? Isn't my driveway leaking all? I
- 22:28Speaker 1: asked the relative one time to move They call. I said, why,
- 22:32Speaker 1: because you're leaking all in the driveway. I hate you
- 22:38Speaker 1: all up and there. You can't hand on all in

- 35:00Speaker 1: let as get serious. There's been another shooting, this time
- 35:02Speaker 1: in northern California. Took place yesterday. Authar say that five
- 35:05Speaker 1: people were killed yesterday, including the shooter, and that ten
- 35:08Speaker 1: others were wounded. After that, gunman went on a shooting
- 35:11Speaker 1: rampage that involved an elementary school. Officials say the gunman
- 35:15Speaker 1: was armed with a semi automatic rifle in a rural
- 35:17Speaker 1: community about a hundred fifty miles northwest of Sacramento. They
- 35:20Speaker 1: say he opened fire at seven different locations, shooting randomly
- 35:25Speaker 1: at neighbors passers by into homes, but the local sheriff
- 35:28Speaker 1: says his deputy's got him. I'm personally grateful to those
- 35:31Speaker 1: men for engaging such a terrible a mass murder. Really,
- 35:36Speaker 1: that's what he is. Sheriff Phil Johnson says that the gunman,
- 35:39Speaker 1: who now is identified as Kevin Jansen Neil, stole and
- 35:43Speaker 1: crashed a neighbor's vehicle, whom he killed. Apparently killed the
- 35:46Speaker 1: neighbor and his wife that he had been feuding with
- 35:48Speaker 1: them for years. Then he opened fire on a local
- 35:50Speaker 1: elementary school, but the teachers jumped in and closed all
- 35:53Speaker 1: the doors so he couldn't get in. He also stole
- 35:55Speaker 1: a second vehicle before deputies caught up with him. National
- 35:58Speaker 1: Republicans calls for about My Judge Roy Moore to get

- 36:03Speaker 1: their accusations now from at least five women claiming that
- 36:06Speaker 1: he's sexually assaulted them when they were only teenagers. How
- 36:09Speaker 1: Speaker Paul Ryan says More should step down because accusations
- 36:12Speaker 1: of him are really credible, and gop sent lely to
- 36:15Speaker 1: Mitch McConnell says More simply not worthy of the position.
- 36:18Speaker 1: Roy Moore should step aside. The women who come forward
- 36:21Speaker 1: are entirely incredible. He's obviously not fit to be in
- 36:25Speaker 1: the United States Center, and McConnell says he's looking at
- 36:28Speaker 1: ways to keep that from happening, just in case he's elected.
- 36:30Speaker 1: By the way, the Republican National Committees now pull its
- 36:33Speaker 1: financial support from Roy Moore's campaign. Associated Press reports that
- 36:37Speaker 1: Donald Trump and co. Have been nominating white men to
- 36:40Speaker 1: serve on the nation's federal courts at a rate not
- 36:42Speaker 1: seen in almost thirty years. A P says, so far
- 36:46Speaker 1: Trump's fifty eight nominees are men, three out of four white.
- 36:50Speaker 1: In fact, so far, Donald Trump has nominated the highest
- 36:53Speaker 1: percentage of white judges in his first year since Ronald Reagan,
- 36:56Speaker 1: and if his trend continues, Donald Trump will be the
- 36:59Speaker 1: first republic Can Sense Herbert Hoover to name fewer women
- 37:02Speaker 1: and minorities to the courts than his GOP predecessor. Our

- 41:06Speaker 1: cheating to get butterflies around someone who isn't your significant other?
- 41:10Speaker 1: Have you ever had an encounter with someone, for instance,
- 41:13Speaker 1: who you were really attracted to physically and after a
- 41:17Speaker 1: few minutes of talking with them, or like hanging out,
- 41:20Speaker 1: you started to get those like, you know, a little crush,
- 41:22Speaker 1: butterflies and your tummy in the past all the time,
- 41:30Speaker 1: several times a week. Really back in the past. Yeah,
- 41:35Speaker 1: of course it was in the past. We're all happily
- 41:38Speaker 1: married now. Uh what, that's all they had to say?
- 41:47Speaker 1: Oh my god, you're so much tallerant person. Oh my god,
- 41:52Speaker 1: I love all your facial features. I love your tent poles.
- 41:56Speaker 1: You do girl, I'm kill everything. My heart is changing.
- 42:06Speaker 1: I got butterflies? Is this just human nature for someone? Uh?
- 42:11Speaker 1: You know, if you like someone emotionally, something that you
- 42:14Speaker 1: just can't help And is it only wrong if you
- 42:17Speaker 1: act on it? So? Is it natural? Absolutely, it's only
- 42:20Speaker 1: wrong if you act on it. I think you know,
- 42:22Speaker 1: people are human. You know, I'm good. I'm pretty sure
- 42:27Speaker 1: that it's some men that my wife's saying. She goes, wow,
- 42:29Speaker 1: he's handsome, attractive, you know, But she can say that
- 42:33Speaker 1: to her damn self. Yeah, and to her girlfriend. O.
- 42:40Speaker 1: Women have much stronger conversations than me and do Oh
- 42:44Speaker 1: don't lie, y'all be saying some but y'all have saying
- 42:46Speaker 1: some stuff on this show. Out loud Ladies about Indris
- 42:49Speaker 1: elbow and about Denzel Washington that cannot be misunderstood by anybody.
- 42:55Speaker 1: And Morgan Freeman, thank you know nobody, girls, you guys,
- 43:04Speaker 1: you guys are right. We don't see it. What's sexy
- 43:10Speaker 1: about him? I like his voice? What you like about
- 43:21Speaker 1: but I've never met him. But anyway, what were you
- 43:23Speaker 1: gonna say, Steve? Know about what I think you were saying.
- 43:27Speaker 1: What I was saying that Steve is talking about celebrities,
- 43:29Speaker 1: what we have said on the air about celebrities, celebrities.
- 43:32Speaker 1: I think the emotional cheating question is for anybody, you know, anybody,
- 43:36Speaker 1: for anybody the grocery show, how me and I'm cheating
- 43:42Speaker 1: emotionally and physically? Okay, thanksgiving us next week. Okay, right here,

- 44:03Speaker 1: listen to me. I'm gonna go around the room. This
- 44:06Speaker 1: is a hypothetical question. Everybody is singlet and you have
- 44:14Speaker 1: to be in a full blown relationship. All of us
- 44:18Speaker 1: had to be involved with someone. Junior, who you're gonna
- 44:21Speaker 1: be involved I'm going right to Monica and that we
- 44:26Speaker 1: ain't got to be hypothetical. We got to really be hypothetical.
- 44:31Speaker 1: We just j out loud and quick, very loud, some
- 44:43Speaker 1: good catfish. So wait a minute, so are you asking
- 44:47Speaker 1: do we like someone on the show or just period? Now?
- 44:49Speaker 1: Just this is the show hypothetical. I think we need
- 44:54Speaker 1: to carry this over. Y'all need to think about this
- 44:56Speaker 1: because Junior just blurted out. Everybody, Monica bone right on
- 45:02Speaker 1: over and it ain't got to be hypathetical. Man, Wow, Okay, well,
- 45:12Speaker 1: oh well, let me see Tommy now. I want to
- 45:16Speaker 1: go after him. I want to hear what they got. No,
- 45:18Speaker 1: just answer the question. Okay, look at the time, surely
- 45:22Speaker 1: we got to go to break Now we don't. We
- 45:25Speaker 1: almost do. Now we got ju over here. We kicked
- 45:29Speaker 1: back like he got both his hands behind. I'm sick.
- 45:32Speaker 1: He's just waiting for Monica to stay the world. What
- 45:42Speaker 1: you said? When we go back around, she needs to

- 46:07Speaker 1: all Monica. Well no, no, he asked you after Junior.
- 46:12Speaker 1: We're talking about crushes right now, and we're all single
- 46:16Speaker 1: in the room. We're all single in the room. If
- 46:19Speaker 1: we hypothetically speaking, ladies and gentlemen. We went to Junior.
- 46:22Speaker 1: Steve went to Junior. Junior said out the gate, Monica Barnes,
- 46:28Speaker 1: what's happening? Yeah, okay, So Tim, who you want to
- 46:34Speaker 1: be next? Tom I'm going with color because I'm gonna eat,
- 46:38Speaker 1: you gonna cook. I've been in Mexico with him, casually silent,
- 47:00Speaker 1: So we did something right, go ahead? All single? We're
- 47:11Speaker 1: all single. I just make a mess of it. So
- 47:15Speaker 1: all three? Yeah, yea three, but didn't find out about
- 47:20Speaker 1: each other? Yeah, and we don't share, knowing it would
- 47:25Speaker 1: probably be too late by then. All right, if I
- 47:29Speaker 1: had to just pick one, you know, I know I
- 47:36Speaker 1: wouldn't want I regret this because I don't like to
- 47:38Speaker 1: be corrected all the time. But it probably had to

- 55:15Speaker 1: All right here we are? Okay, Well, this question has
- 55:18Speaker 1: been going on for the last three breaks here. Uh yeah,
- 55:22Speaker 1: we asked the question about emotional cheating. It's turned into this.
- 55:26Speaker 1: We're all single on the show, so amongst us, we're
- 55:29Speaker 1: trying to figure out who would the ladies pick amongst
- 55:32Speaker 1: the guys on the show, and who would the guys
- 55:34Speaker 1: pick amongst the ladies. Now, Junior picked Monica, Tommy picked Carla,
- 55:40Speaker 1: and uh, I didn't really get picked. I think I
- 55:43Speaker 1: got picked by the I was the only one left,
- 55:48Speaker 1: so I guess Steve picked me. Thanks a lot. But
- 55:52Speaker 1: now now it's the girls time. Yeah, I'm going to
- 56:00Speaker 1: regret saying this. Oh god, the turtle. We don't even
- 56:13Speaker 1: like him, I know, So it won't be long a
- 56:21Speaker 1: break up that we do do I was gonna say Junior,
- 56:31Speaker 1: but he won't be But look like you, nobody picked me. Come,
- 56:41Speaker 1: we're going, We're going to Cobo. Now I'm stuck with
- 56:45Speaker 1: a high. Yeah, I think she lying. We're gonna be
- 56:49Speaker 1: balling up. Why do you think I'm lying? Well, because
- 56:53Speaker 1: you really pick me? No, I don't eat pig. He
- 57:00Speaker 1: picked all three of us. Yeah, no, no, no, See,
- 57:03Speaker 1: it ain't trying to be a mat What did you
- 57:04Speaker 1: say to him? How many likes may like your facial features?
- 57:12Speaker 1: She picked you. She called you a turtle. She said
- 57:15Speaker 1: the turtle. She didn't even say timing, She said turtle,
- 57:18Speaker 1: ever turt But every woman understands that. Though women understand that,
- 57:25Speaker 1: because you have to like who likes you, you gotta
- 57:28Speaker 1: go with that. Sometimes. No, I wouldn't have went with that.
- 57:34Speaker 1: Didn't you pick Monica? And you said you hope she
- 57:36Speaker 1: picked you? Didn't you just yea, Yeah, it's the same
- 57:39Speaker 1: thing in the room. Yeah, yeah, sure, I'm picking Steve,
- 57:43Speaker 1: he's rich. I mean, come on, really, really, guys, really really? Oh,
- 57:52Speaker 1: she goes straight to the boy. Really, guys, really, come on, really,
- 57:59Speaker 1: that's not I don't care about its facial features. Now,
- 58:03Speaker 1: thank you, Mama, she said, boy, if you dress nice
- 58:09Speaker 1: and make enough money, ain't nobody gonna worry about the face.
- 58:15Speaker 1: Mama came through for me. She over there, rich, you
- 58:21Speaker 1: over here with you because he won't at less. She
- 58:28Speaker 1: got picked. Okay, I didn't get picked at least to
- 58:35Speaker 1: go to the Viking cooking class. You're rich. You can
- 58:38Speaker 1: hire a cook who cares. So what have we learned?
- 58:48Speaker 1: That we're all very shallow, that we will lie through,
- 58:53Speaker 1: even all the girls will lie in the world called
- 58:58Speaker 1: could be happy with the turd. And this is where
- 59:02Speaker 1: we have learned that Monica and Junior will probably start
- 59:06Speaker 1: a relationship. I think, yeah, yeah, you don't know how
- 59:11Speaker 1: to take care that board. You need a lot of medicine.
- 59:15Speaker 1: Stay at it. Yeah, you can't see the balls. All right,
- 59:22Speaker 1: come on, let's get to this letter. More drama. Buggle up,
- 59:26Speaker 1: hold on tight, we got it for you here. It
- 59:28Speaker 1: is a Strawberry letter. Thanks Tommy. Subject life interrupted. Good morning, Steve,
- 59:34Speaker 1: Tommy and Shirley. I am a thirty six year old,
- 59:36Speaker 1: beautiful black woman with three children, a good job, and
- 59:40Speaker 1: a nice home. My man of ten years, forty years
- 59:43Speaker 1: old in parentheses, has lost his mind. He has brought
- 59:47Speaker 1: his forty year old legally blind friend home to live
- 59:50Speaker 1: with us. I understand that this is his best friend,
- 59:53Speaker 1: but we just took on his sixteen year old son
- 59:55Speaker 1: from a previous relationship. I'm okay with the son because
- 59:58Speaker 1: he is there every week end and holidays anyway, and uh,
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: I've learned to love him like one of my own.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: My problem is now this man. He is drunk a lot,
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: not that clean, and can't really see the toilet, so
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: he misses all the time. My man claims he can't
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: do much for himself, but he can make it to
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: the box, but he can make it to the bar.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: Me and the children end up doing for him while
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: my man works. He also invades our private time, wanting
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: to go hang out or watch sports. I can't even
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: dress the way I want anymore because he makes me uncomfortable.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: I've expressed my concerns to my man, but it just
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: makes us fight all the time. I've tried everything to
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: help him move on, but he won't. I even helped
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: him get a social security get social security and signed
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: him up for public housing. But he won't go, and
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: my man won't force him. He seems to care more
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: for this man than he does me. Right now, I
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: don't know what to do. I don't want to lose
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: my man. He is good to me and the kids,
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: but his friend has to go. Please help me. Signed
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: Life interrupted, dear life interrupted. Put him out. He definitely
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: needs to go. You cannot have this kind of foolishness
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: in your house, missing the toilet when he uses the restroom. Uh.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: And you know you're feeling uncomfortable when you get when
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: you get dressed, and he's legally blind to your so
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: called man is allowing this. And here's a question to
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: you after ten years, Um, what are you and this
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: man doing anyway? Um, he's messing up your nice home.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: And you're right, he has lost his mind. You in
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: no way should have to deal with anything like this.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: Your man has put his friend and his needs before
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: you and the kids. So right now I disagree with you.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: He is not being a good man. You say he is.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: I say he's not. You know, when you help people
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: it's usually for a little while, like a couple of days,
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: you know, a few days, maybe a couple of weeks,
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: something like that. This man has come in and invaded
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: your home, so you and your man need to get
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: together seriously talk about it. Immediately put this man out.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: I'm sorry, you gotta put him out because he's messing
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: up your home and there's no way you should be
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: uncomfortable in your own home. And if your man doesn't
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: want to put this other man out, then maybe it's
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: time for you and your man to break up as well,
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: and your man go his separate way. Steve, we don't
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: have time. We'll be back, and you've got a lot
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: to say. I got a whole another angle I don't
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: really kill. And for those of you that like emailing
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: because one of my jokes that went too far, get
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: to your computers and sit down and get ready to
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: that tight The letter is supposed to go to Steve
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: Harvey dot com and click on the Strawberry Letter. We'll
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: be back twelve after you're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: Morning Show. Come on Steve with your response to part
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: two of today's Strawberry Letter. What you got and You've
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: got enough time for this letter man, that really, because
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: I've discovered a whole lot, but life interrupted. Good mornings
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: to you, Tommy Sherley. I'm a thirty six year old,
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: beautiful black woman with three children, a good job in
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: a nice home. My man of ten years, forty years
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: old has lost his mind. He has bought his forty
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: year old legally blind friend home to live with us.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: I understand that this is his best friend, but we
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: just took it as six year old something from previous relationship.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: I'm okay with the some because he is that every
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: weekend and holidays anyway, and I've learned to love him
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: like one of my own. My problem is now this man.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: He is drunk a lot, not that clean, and Kate
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: really see the tarlet, so he misses all the time.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: My man claims he can't do much for himself, but
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: he can make it to the ball. Me and the
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: children end up doing for him while my man at work.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: He also invades our private time, wanting to go hang
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: out or watch sports. I can't even dress the way
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: I want anymore because he makes me uncomfortable. I've expressed
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: my concern to my man, but it just makes us
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: fight all the time. I've tried everything to help him
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: move on, but he won't. I even helped him get
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: so security and sign him up for public housing, but
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: he won't go, and my man won't force him. He
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: seems to care more about this man than he does
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: for me. Right now, I don't know what to do.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: I don't want to lose my man. He's good to
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: me and the kids, but his friend has to go.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: Please help me sign life interrupted. First of all, before
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: I say what I really want to say, what you
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: are going to safe take Sherley's advice? Put him out,
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: get on with your life if you're an ultimatum to
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: your man, the man or your family, and don't make
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: you no difference which one he picked. But one of
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: us has got to go, and it ought to be
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: the blind dude that he bought home. Okay, now that
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: we got that out the way, let's go over some stuff.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: Is you really blind or ain't you blind? See you
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: got to do some blind testing at your house, because
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: see a lot of this stuff don't sound like you're
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: talking about a blind man to me at all. Now
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: he legally blind, I don't know what that means. Illegally
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: or you illegally blind. Can you see or can't you see?
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: I don't know the definition. So for those of you
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: out there that like the type Steve when he's politically incorrect,
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: once again gonna get the type. And because I don't
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: really care on this one. Right here, we're talking about
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: the dude that forty years old then came in this
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: man's house with another for your old friends, and one
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: of the damn friends can't see. Now they ain't fitting
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: to be my problem. You got to work that out
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: with the lord. But once you come in Steve Hoff
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: and say you can't see, there's a couple of things
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: need to quit happening. Though. First of all, he can't
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: really see the toilet, so he missed all the time. Hell,
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: I can see in sometime I miss But one thing
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: my mama used to say, you might not be able
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: to see, but you can hear, can't you Now listen
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: to me. If you don't hear nold water splashing, you
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: ain't in the right spot. You got to then make
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: some type of adjustment left or right. If you never
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: hear water splashes, you're being on the back of that
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: little jacket that's on the I can have told it
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: you're peeing on the third boy. Now that's for startus
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: right there, so any man can miss sometime it's lit.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: What do you mean to give you that offshoot? Spring
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: be a little piece of lint on you. Then next
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: thing you know, it's just everywhere you're all appearing on
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: the towels and stuff. You know what he means to it?
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: You be trying to do. Sometimes you peeing all up
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: on the medicine. You don't even be you got that
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: little shoot. Sometimes you spray on the shower curtain of
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: towels and the medicine. Yeah, I'm telling you right now,
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: that's what you're way of that You get that lint
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: on you at the wrong place, and you got some problems.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: Fellas out didn't know what I'm talking about. Please y'all
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: pray for him. I said I was gonna do this
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: when I'm trying not to because the dude is supposed
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: to be blind. Then he say, your man claim he
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: can't do much for herself. We're gonna find out if
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: you can't do nothing for yourself, because when you're man
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: and go to work, this is what you do. Dragon
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: blind ass out on the porch and sit him on
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: the porch until your man come home, and when he
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: don't know where he at because he blind, tell him
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: it's cooling here. We got the help all and breathe,
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: we got to help and all the dose open. We're
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: trying to add out cause you ain't watching your nasty behind,
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: and we ain't watching you no more. It's a couple
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: of things than you and the children end up doing
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: for him while you're man at work. He also invades
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: your private wanting to go hang out or watch sports.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: I thought you said he was blind. Now if he blind,
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: why is we going to watch sports? Now? If you're
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: watching sports and you blind, one of these things ain't
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: got to happen. Sitting up in here, I got to
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: tell you who got the ball, who just scored? And
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: what color suit they got on? Do Lebron have on
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: the red headband he just got on? Wrist beard? Today?
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: Sitting up and then watching the game with somebody blind
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: have me going through all this? And man, Carmela Show
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: got a nice jump up. That ain't Carmela gonna send up,
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: in arguable your blind behind. We're trying to watch sport.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: Then you send a bit time like you can't even
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: dress the way you won't do anymore because he makes
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: you uncomfortable. I thought you said he would have blind
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: What is blind? Ass looking at you? Fault. You are
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: to be able to walk in front of him naked
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: and if he really blind, that's the See. That's why
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: I say you got to start conducting some blind tests
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: at your house. Put your pumps on, baby, and walk
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: past him butt naked. And if he go, good, Lord
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: of Mighty, put blind because there ain't nothing blind. See.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: I think you getting played and you can quit playing
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: and all this hill. Get him down and get that
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: social kid and put him right up in the project.
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: Thank you, Steve. You know we gotta get out of here. Uh.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: Email or Instagram a's your thoughts on today's Strawberry Letter
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: at my Girl, Shirley, don't forget tomorrow. Oh that's right
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: tomorrow the Facebook Live after show with the Strawberry Letter Live.
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: That's going to be with me at one thirty p m.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: Eastern time. Please join me. It's a lot of fun
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: switching gears Now. GQ magazine, you guys heard about this,
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: have announced its People of the Year Colin Kaepernick. That
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: is another year for g Q. On the cover, Gal
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: Gado you know her from um from a wonder Woman movie,
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: and she's like a big feminist right now, Kevin Durant
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: is one of them, and Stephen Colbert, they're gonna share
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: the honors. Each one gets his her own title cover
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: and cover story for the December issue. Now, Colin Kaepernick,
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: uh did the photo shoot, but he didn't do the interview.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: Coming up next, we're gonna talk about Meek Mill. You
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: guys heard about this case. It's a serious case. We'll
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: talk about when we come back. You're listening to the
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: Steve Show. So, Steve, this has been a big story.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: I don't know if you've heard about this or not,
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: but supporters of Meek Mill gathered at the Criminal Justice
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: Center in Philadelphia, UH, this past Monday for the Rally
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: for Meek. Now, this is a call talking about rapper
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: Meek Mill. This is a call for justice for Meek
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: and and others. Earlier this month, Meek was sentenced to
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: two to four years in prison for violating his probation. Okay, Now,
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: according to TMZ, Meek Mill may have caught a huge
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: break in this case because the judge that is presiding
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: over the case, her name is Ganice Brinkley Judge Genie Brinkley.
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: She's reportedly being investigated by the FBI UH for possibly
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: having relationships in Philly, including UH with the local music
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: mogul she allegedly asked Meek to sign with, as well
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: as a possible extortionate demand. Meek's lawyer says Judge Brinkley
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: asked Meek to do a remix to a boy's to
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: men's song and to give her a shout out on
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: the song, and that her harsh sentence the result of
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: declining or chuckling at the request. And now it seems
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: like she has a personal vendetta against Mek Mel. Yeah,
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: so you got it. So this can't send this man
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: to jail. First of all, what to violate his probation
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: because he popped a wheelie and he broke up a fight. Yeah,
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: that's violation. So if you're on probation, you you can't
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: be any kind of citizen, not even a good one.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: So you have to be oatmeal. If you see a fight,
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: you don't go nowhere near because you're on probation. If
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: you you see some kids, you can't entertain him with
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: a wheel stands. You have to be a non existent
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: human being on probation. But since you didn't give me
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: a shout out on this song that I asked you too,
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: now I'm gonna sit you down for two to four years.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: Are you serious? Yeah? I mean it's so serious. This
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: horrible injustice. It really is. Jay z dr J, Kevin Hart,
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: Rick Ross, Philadelphia seventies Sixers co owner Michael Rubin and
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: many players from the seventies Sixers and the Eagles, Colin Kaepernick.
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: They all, um, you know, have been in support of
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: Meek Mill. And then recently, CNN political commentator Van Jones
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: was on the Wendy Williams Show. He's been on our show.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: We know Van Jones. This is what he had to
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: say about the issue. Take a listen. It is absolutely outrageous.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: This is one of the worst things I've seen. I've
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: never heard of the case where a brother is standing
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: before a judge. The prosecutor says, do not put this
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: brother in jail. The probation office says, do not put
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: this brother in jail, and for some reason, the judge says,
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: I'm gonna put him in jail anyway. The judge is
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: supposed to be neutral. Listen to the defense. Let's to
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: the prosecutor and come down in a neutral way. The
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: judge is the only person in the building who wants
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: the brother locked up. That's wrong, that's not that's not
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: supposed to be that way. As long you know what
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: the thing is, you do something in nineteen years old,
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: whoever it was silly, nobody lost their life. You've been
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: on probation for twelve years. You and I couldn't be
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: oprobation for twelve years without doing something that nobody was
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: going to criticize. So, but look at what he actually did.
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: He popped a wheelie. He popped the wheelie trying to
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: entertain kids. Should have done that, but he popped the wheelie.
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: He got his wisdom to teeth, called out and got
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: hooked on percoset, went to rehab, told him where he
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: was going, but they got confused about that, and then
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: he broke up a fight, and the police said that
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: he did the right thing when they looked at the video.
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: So breaking up a fight, popping a wheelie to entertain
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: kids and getting off ter us, that don't make you
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: a villain, that makes you a hero. You should not
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: be in jail. Are you kidding me? What prosecutor says,
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: do not put the man in jail. His job is
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: to prosecute. When they tell you this is wrong, the
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: the fist tells you this is wrong. The police come
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: out and say he did the right thing. Why is
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: he going to jail? Are you kidding me? And for
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: her to have any insinuated ties. Look, I'm not the
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: greatest person anywhere, but please let me throw my hat
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: and our entire morning show had into the wing who
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: is now in total support of meat meal. Now that
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: may not swing the tide one way or the other.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: Couses some great people already out there, but the Steve
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: Harman Mourning Show is now officially thrown their head in.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: Now a lot of people listening to this show, that's
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: got to be something. You cannot send this man to
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: prison for that. And now if it's come out that
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: you've had any ties with music related that you asked
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: for a shout out and who is this check? Yeah,
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: a shout out to Judge Brinkley. Yeah, like what at
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: what wraps on that go in? But you were judged though, Yeah,
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: that's why she's been complimentary and a couple of records myself.
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: But we aren't gonna go to jail if you don't, don't. Yeah,
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: well when me get out, she's gonna be in the song.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: Yeah this that you don't gotta worry about that shot.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: He's coming. So we'll keep watching this and keep Yeah,
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: don't worry about Meeks Knicks reckon. It's a lot of
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: people looking at this. Yeah, it really is crazy. It
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: really it's crazy. And moving on, moving on. Some good
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: news to report. The U c l A basketball players
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: lo Angelo ball Curty, Cody Riley, and Jalen Hill, the
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: guys who were arrested in China on charges of shoplifting.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: They have been allowed to return. The U to the
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: U s Okay Pack twelve Commissioner Larry Scott released a
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: statement on Tuesday confirming that the players are on a flight.
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: We're on a flight back to Los Angeles. At the
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: time he made the statement, um he said, Look, the
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: matter has been resolved to the satisfaction of the Chinese authorities.
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: We are all very pleased that these young men have
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: been allowed to return home to their families and university.
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: We are grateful for that, for the role that our
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: Chinese hosts played, and for the courtesy and professionalism of
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: the local authorities. We also want to acknowledge U c
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: l A significant efforts on behalf of their student athletes. Finally,
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: we want to thank the President, the White House, and
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: the U. S. State Department for their efforts toward resolution
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: because you know, uh, President Trump did ask the President there, Yeah,
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: he did, uh to look into the issue while he
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: was in Beijing last week. Um and uh the President
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: Jen Ping of China said he would and uh they
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: would be treated fairly. So there you go. Alright, alright,
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, Thank you, Steve.
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: Science says, uh, cussing can lead to a better way
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: of life. Hey, let's let's get to cussing. When we
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: came we get back. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, Steve, Tommy Jr. And everyone on
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: this show and listening cussing scientists say can make your
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: life better. Uh. Scientists say that studies have shown cussing
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: can actually improve our lives. This is how your life
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: is better with bad words in it. It is the
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: best form of workplace bonding. Forget team building exercises. Research
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: shows that co workers who cussed work more effectively together. Absolutely,
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: Tommy working fine, what cussing has benefited me great. I'm
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: living proved that cussing will make your life better, especially
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: when there's a chick attached to matter. I won't thank HBO,
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: Show Time, all those avenues that created it, j that
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: made cussing absolutely okay to be all right with, and
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: it has gotten me to this point today. Seven television shows,
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: radio shows. Brother, get the cussing. I'm also free. Yeah,
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: I don't have high blood, I ain't got diabetes. I
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: don't suffer from depression because I get it all out.
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: That's it free. You make should try because you got to.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: I'm not Miss said what about me though? You got
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: to be like Bliss. Your life is absolutely wonderful. After
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: Chiley instructure that when she ain't gonna make a team,
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: I'll tell you what if my baby don't make the team,
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: let me tell you something. What you ain't doing. You
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: ain't gonna make it the work on time you've been
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: to be in therapy. Isn't there something that happened at
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: your at your baby school, at Tessa school with a
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: little boy Steve Junior and Tommy, you're gonna this little boy.
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: I picked Tis up. We were at school and she
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: picking her up from school. She got home and she said, Mommy,
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: this little boy said a bad word at lunch. I
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: said what happened, and she said, well, he opened up
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: his sandwich and he looked down at it the way
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: it was cutting, said the F word. I told this helpful.
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: I didn't wan't no more damn triangles in my lunch box. Down.
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: I got to tell her, damn tri angle, I'm a fox.
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: Cut it in half. That's it. That's all you need.
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: I don't want no triangle. That's crazy. Mom. He looked
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: at that sandwich and opened it up and said the
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: F word, and the teachers came over the air. He
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: said it loud, though, he said, even hold it. Hey,
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: he didn't click the lock on that spot of man
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: lock any waiting on that, waiting on that Hey, I'm
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: saying with you, you're gonna hold it with both hands.
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: But if mama had cut it into them triangles, that
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: a little baden up that lunch box. Is said, say Steve,
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: see tell me. I know I blame Tommy because you
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: know Steve doesn't need but I just did. He'll take
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: a mile. Come on, come on, tom Cat, hit the button.
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: Do what the little boy did. Man's gun me craves
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: just up and here it's just lunch time. High Tish
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: hi tosh are you're great time for lunch boy, but
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: looking forward to this man. I've got my favorite lunch box.

- 1:20:56Speaker 1: swich the girls are looking at I'm gonna hold it
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: with both hands and eat it like my big brother does.
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: Open it up, unwrapid here it is? Ah, what the hobby?
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: We cannot cuss on this radio show. There's some sugar
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: on their high team. How many they say? It is
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: so loud that teachers heard. Teachers ran over and they
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: picked him up. And yeah, but he didn't know know
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: they heard him. So he can't understand why these people
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: have gathered around. He was in a zone though. It
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: was all about that, and you know. The scientists also
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: say that custing help prevent helps prevent fights. They say
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: can actually make people likely to be diffict violent. It
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: does because it tempers, It gets a lot of the
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: anger out, and it lets you know that it's about
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: to elevate, and sometimes you can avoid it. Cussing also
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: limits the amount of bud whippers you have to issue
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: your children. It has. Yeah, I can sit down, baby,
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: keep jumping, sit down, I'm gonna sit down. See that's
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: one thing, lacks a whole another trip. Now, dude, let
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: me ask you this. How about culturally do we is
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: it different? You know with different cultures, different races, Steve,
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: really Latino's white and blacks. They all cuss the same amount.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: It's just the inflections of it as different. And we
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: we do put the word black in their a lots
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: and our cadence, our rhythm. Yeah, a little different. But yeah,
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: it's only been here since she was born. Huh would
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: you say, Junior, you've only been here and custom since
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: she was born, like when I was born. They like,
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: this is the uglass boy right here. We got fatty.
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: Not the first time I heard, that's the first time.
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: Let me let me. Yeah, we used black a lot,
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: get you. Yeah, other cultures don't do that. Yeah, they don't.
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: They don't use color. They don't as as the right.
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: You don't get your little white ass never heard that.
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: I've never heard that. But Junior, what did you hear
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: at birth? I heard it right at birth. This is
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: a little ug glass boy right here, a little fat thing.
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: I sat up, I said, where am I all right?
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: More of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. More of this
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: tomfoolery coming up. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: The TV show Empire. We all watch it, um anyway,
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: It's back after being on hiatus during of course, during
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: the World Series, and one of the stars of the
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: show We love her, Gabaret Sitabe, did not allow did
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: not allow any internet troll to ruin her outing with
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: her girls. Okay, Gabby posted a picture on Instagram of
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: her and her girlfriend's hanging out and using the hashtag
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: black girl Magic. There was one hater, one hater that
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: didn't seem to like the post and decided to comment saying, wow,
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: f all three of you bees. After not getting a
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: response to the troll, posted again saying I'm not mad,
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: uh you boy looking bees? Dang, go on your sides
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: and stop wearing fake hair. Gabby saw this and clapped
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: back in a classy way. I loved how she clapped back,
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: very mature. She said, I'm not sure why you're so mad,
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: and I don't need to know why, Betty. What I
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: do know is that you're clearly suffering, and you're probably
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: reaching out in nastiness. Uh, may you receive this prayer
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: in love, and may God's peace and guidance fall on
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: you and lift and keep you in love. Nice? Huh nice?
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: That ain't tom. That's the high road. She took the
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: high up there with the Lord, didn't she. Yes, she did. Yes,
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: A little bit of May God allow you to ride
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: inhale would be back. If I'm gonna clap back, let's
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: clap matter of fact, let's get around of applause. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: it is how hard we've been to clap. Yeah, that's
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: what you really get. Yeah, what's up with the trolls?
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: Though not necessary, the haters out there, man, are like ridiculous.
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: It's like, man, you can't, especially as a celebrity, you
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: just go okay, cool, you took that a little bit
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: too far. Let me just say this to you. I
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: have clapped back this year, and I did it same way.
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: Uh you know, I did it in a classy way,
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: and I told you, you know, she you know, God
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: bless you. Hope you get your life wherever you want
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: to be. They ended up apologizing me for making it
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: because they didn't know because she came on my page.
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: You know, I just posted the picture. My family were
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: just sitting there, beautiful family. God bless you and all
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: this here. You know, it's a shame that you're a
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: Trump supporter. Lady, I'm not a Trump supporter. What you know.
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: The fact that you would go up there and meet
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: with him, what a meeting, don't make you a supporter, lady, right?
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: You know now, I wish I hadn't to went up there,
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: I really do, but I did, trying to call myself
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: doing something mals, but it didn't. It didn't. So it's okay.
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: I'm not a supporter, though I said. But if you
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: listen to the radio show, you wouldn't know who I
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: supported and who I asked everybody to vote for. I say,
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: but because I am, yes, I bless you. You know,
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: do whatever I said that effect. You don't put the
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: end your your ending. Don't never be good, all the
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: good stuff, but you have to have a good ending
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: with it. God bless you. I'm gonna move on with
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: my life. You move on with your and kiss my
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: you know, put your button on them when the first
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: Lady Michelle Obama say when they go, we go. If
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: everybody is therefore, I'm on low road. I don't know.
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: Shot up you got, I don't. I didn't gave you
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: a past many times. But since you're gonna just keep
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: going there, we gotta get out of here. Stovetop has
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: a perfect solution for those who stuffed themselves on Thanksgiving.
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: And more of the show right after this. You're listening
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: to the stow all right, stovetop Stuffing. We all have
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: heard about it for our entire lives. Well anyway, Stovetop
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: Stuffing is now selling the perfect pair of pants for
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: your Thanksgiving meal. This is crazy. Stove Yeah, stovetops Thanksgiving
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: dinner pants. They make pants now. They have a stretchy
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: pouch that fits over the belly. I guess you can
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: uh liken it to maternity wear for women. Okay, it's
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: a stretchy pouch. It fits over the belly. Although these
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: pants are decorated in a festive stuffing pattern, you may
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: want to get them for the man in your life.
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: You may want too, ladies, if he's one of those
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: guys who likes you know how guys like to unbutton
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: their belt sometime after dinner. My grandfather come over there

- 1:29:21Speaker 1: at Thanksgiving. When you eat too much food, you you
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: ain't gotta unbutton your pants. And then when you when
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: you get back down right, you just weigh them back
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: or you can put that you're doing too much today. Man,
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: they come in all sizes, all sizes, and they only
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: cost Get this, they only cost less than twenty dollars
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: and you know you like that. That's about the same
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: prices your airline ticket. Stop. Man, I'm trying. I'm not
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: wearing in the stove top stuff and pasts. I'm not
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: would not. It don't make no sense for you not
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: to have on some stove top dressing past. It's got
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: a pouch in the front. But when you eat too much,
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: your stomach can sit in it comfortable, and then after
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: your stomach go down, you can win them backwards and
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: put that high ask yours in it. I'm not laughing,
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: but what did you doing? What did you doing? If
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: you like that's me, that would be would be perfect
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: for your time. I think you're right, that's nice, man,
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: do a purpose? Will you turn the pants around and
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: cover the head? What? Go ahead? Nothing to do this
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: with y'all. You ain't got to look at me. I'm
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: not love Tommy. Don't look well. You have the same
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: pains all the way. Look at the pockets in the front.
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: Go ahead, boy, coordinate, coordinate, help y'all some fun. Go ahead.
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: I'm not laughing. Murder murder you same time to turn
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: them their fast. I'm not laughing. I promise you tell
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: me what you call what you're doing, Benny, bust your
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: room belt, come t me, sad wearing those stones pants.
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: Tell me the only nineteen I'll buy something for them
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: to foods. How about that? We get the jacket to man,
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: get it for them. Get your hat on, man, and
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: then Jordan can use him too, because he can take
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: a the school for showing. What does he say? You
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: mean to tell me? You and Jordan in the pain, Ruth,
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Show. All right, here we go
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: with our last break of the day. Just one more thing. Now,
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: listen to this carefully, especially black people in the world. Alright. Uh.
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: New blood pressure guidelines, Yeah, new blood pressure guidelines are out.
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: That means half of Americans have high blood pressure in
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: a city. Yeah. Well, in just two days, over thirty
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: million more Americans have high blood pressure. Uh No, it
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: wasn't any traumatic event that happened or anything like that. Uh,
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: nothing like that that caused what the president, no pressure. Yeah,
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: but it's a new gut, it's new guideline, Steve, that's
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: what it is. The new guidelines could mean more Americans
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: now have high blood pressure. Heart doctor groups uh, including
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: the American Heart Association, are moving the goal posts for
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: what's considered a risk for hypertension. The idea is to
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: spur millions into changing their diets, exercise routine, and lifestyle choices.
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: The new standard is to get blood pressure down below
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: one thirty over eighty. Now remember it used to be
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: one forty over ninety. Remember that you remember that, right, junior. Well, anyway,
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: now the new guideline is one thirty over eighty. Heart disease, stroke,
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: and other health issues may result from elevated pressure. So
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: there you go. They want you, they want you to
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: of course, and they always say it eat better. Uh,
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: want to be serious, guys, what your diet, what your
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: your size? Okay, you have to make sure you diet
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: and exercise, thank you, and eat right and eat right. Yeah,
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: and you know this high pretension affects. Okay, well, ladies,
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: excuse me, but the comedian wants to know this now
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: that you've said that, who listening? And change where they
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: eat it? Thus we got that. You damn my on Agnes.
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: All you want to there's gonna be some way. She's
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: making crackling as we speak, getting the crackling. But you
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: know what I often wonder. Okay, she's frying fat, have
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: a bowl of it on the table. So they're saying,
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: we gotta give a boxtail. They're just saying, you know,
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: I mean, I like moderation and just change some things.
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: Eat more fruits, eat more veggies, you know, and move more,
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: exercise more. At least thirty that today I think they
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: said at least thirty you know, do something, walk, do something.
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: I mean, look, look you have to. I'm promoting it
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: on my Instagram. Sixty is the new forty. It's amazing
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: the people that's fighting me on that though. You know
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: you ain't gonna be forty. You sixty at sixty and
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: sixty sixty ain't the new forty. You know all that.
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: You know, people always got something to say negative. You
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: know what lady told me on one of my instagrams.
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: I was exercise. You know what the lady said. You
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: know what, why are you showing us all this exercise?
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: When God calls you home, it's your time? I went, wow. So,
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: but you want to go in as a dad betting
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: with your glorified body? Here? Do you want to go
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: in wheezing? Why would I drag my oxygen tank up
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: to the game. Why would I not want to be
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: as healthy as I could be? Why, however, long I
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: got aolut So surely I understand what you're saying. I do.
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: I do understand exactly what you said. Let's see it right,
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: Let's exercise. I mean, that's all they've ever been saying anyway,
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: is to eat right, exercise yea, more fruits, more veggies,
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: you know, especially vegetables, you know, and you know, try
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: to keep the stress level down in your life too. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: alright from blood pressure? Um to do you have the
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: guts to do this? And the guts the guts yes?
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: And Australian Zoo Steve now has an exhibit where visitors
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: can get in a cage in the midst of a
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: pride of lions. Okay, this is at the Manarto Zoo.
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: In Australia. Australia. Allow Australia. Uh, it's the humans who
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: are in the cages. Yeah, it's yeah, Yeah, it's the
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: Manarto Zoo in Australia. It's the humans who are in
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: the cages. The newest exhibit Lions three sixty, where are
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: the lions at? Okay? Listen? The newest exhibit Lions three
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: sixty has visitors go inside a cage which allows them
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: to walk into the midst of eleven lionesses. Lionesses. Those
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: are female lions. We all know that. Despite climbing all
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: around and even over the cage filled filled with tasty humans,
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: zoo officials say the lioness the lionesses aren't naturally aggressive. Interesting. Uh,
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: they say they're the kings and queens in Africa, so
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: they know they can command the power and attention from
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: all of the other animals. So that's what they are
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: doing here. This is according to the zookeeper and A Bennett.
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: She says, they know they are getting a reaction, everyone reacts,
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: and so they will continue to behave that way. Yeah,
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: until they get hungry they realize they land. Yeah, it
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: just doesn't sense. It doesn't make people are so ignorant.
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: What's the big deal the cage break? Somebody don't shut
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: it though, you get your arm grabbed and they don't
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: let it go. Too many situations. Now you ain't there
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: trying to pull back, and when you finally pull back,
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: you ain't. Y'all no own, they got your own there
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: you go, no idea? He was going to say that
