- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time of
- 0:05Speaker 1: y'all don't know. Y'all back a suit, looking back to
- 0:12Speaker 1: back down, giving them just like theming bus bus things.
- 0:17Speaker 1: And it's not me true good Steve has to move
- 0:26Speaker 1: together for ste bar please don't join yeah, join me.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta use turning them, You gotta turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out, turn, got to turn out, turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water. Come come on your baby, daddy, huh, I
- 2:02Speaker 1: sure will come on and everybody, y'all listen to the voice.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Come on dig me now, one and all is Steve Harvey.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Uh got a radio show? Yep, yep. Sometimes I saw
- 2:17Speaker 1: all I can say. Yea help man. How far I've
- 2:21Speaker 1: come is really unbelievable. But you know I finally figured
- 2:24Speaker 1: it out. Man. God allowed me to have the life
- 2:30Speaker 1: I've had so that I can become experienced at so
- 2:35Speaker 1: many different things. And then this experience when I'm talking
- 2:39Speaker 1: and sharing with people, I will be able to relate
- 2:42Speaker 1: to a lot of different circumstances, not exact, but just
- 2:46Speaker 1: the circumstances. You know. You know, if a person comes
- 2:49Speaker 1: to men, they say, man, I've been down and out. Okay,
- 2:51Speaker 1: Well I know what that is Man, I didn't. I
- 2:54Speaker 1: didn't have any direction. Okay, got that been there, man.
- 2:59Speaker 1: At one point in time, Man, I just kept piling
- 3:01Speaker 1: mistake on top of mistakes. Okay. So you know, I
- 3:08Speaker 1: think what I'm trying to say to everybody is when
- 3:10Speaker 1: you're going through life and life is dealing the cards
- 3:15Speaker 1: that it deals, I want you to understand that life
- 3:18Speaker 1: deals everybody these cards. The disappointment card, the setback card,
- 3:25Speaker 1: the failure card, the mishap card, the unexpected misery card.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Everybody gonna get, the grief card, everybody gonna get, the
- 3:37Speaker 1: rash of bad decision card, everybody gonna get them. Understand
- 3:42Speaker 1: that going in that everybody is gonna get these cards.
- 3:51Speaker 1: It's how you play them, though, you know, from time
- 3:55Speaker 1: to time, one more time, it's how you play them,
- 3:58Speaker 1: you know. From time to time when I'm watching TV,
- 4:01Speaker 1: I love to watch the World Series of Poker. I
- 4:04Speaker 1: like watching poker tournaments on TV because it's it's really weird,
- 4:10Speaker 1: what's happened to a sport? To a poker? They're actually
- 4:14Speaker 1: trying to call it a sport, you know, And as
- 4:16Speaker 1: the everyday guy that doesn't have to be athletically inclined
- 4:20Speaker 1: to anything who has a shot of winning a title
- 4:25Speaker 1: if they play their cards right. The best poker players
- 4:29Speaker 1: in the world don't have the best hands, They just
- 4:34Speaker 1: make the best plays. I've seen guys win a hand
- 4:39Speaker 1: with nine two in their hand as nothing and win
- 4:42Speaker 1: their hand because they knew the bluff, they knew the odds,
- 4:47Speaker 1: they calculated risks, they made the stakes higher than the
- 4:51Speaker 1: other person was willing to pay. They gave off the
- 4:55Speaker 1: illusion that they had something with an actuality. They had nothing.
- 5:01Speaker 1: So what I what I enjoy about poker and watching
- 5:04Speaker 1: it is that these people, these people here, played the
- 5:10Speaker 1: hand they dealt, and it ain't always a good hand.
- 5:13Speaker 1: But it ain't whether your hand is good. And it
- 5:16Speaker 1: ain't whether you're gonna get dealt bad cards or not,
- 5:18Speaker 1: because you're gonna get dealt some bad cars. Everybody ain't
- 5:21Speaker 1: gonna get two bullets in their hand. You ain't gonna
- 5:23Speaker 1: get two aces when you get dealt. Uh. You know,
- 5:26Speaker 1: when you play a draw poker, some of your cards
- 5:28Speaker 1: gonna be nothing, But you gotta turn that nothing into something.
- 5:32Speaker 1: So when you get dealt these cards in life, it
- 5:34Speaker 1: ain't the fact that you get keep getting them dealt.
- 5:37Speaker 1: I was talking with a young person yesterday and we
- 5:40Speaker 1: were talking, and we keep having the same conversation over
- 5:43Speaker 1: and over and over, and they could not understand why
- 5:46Speaker 1: they were not moving forward. But I said, you don't understand.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Every time we talk, we have the exact same conversation.
- 5:54Speaker 1: It is simply because you keep getting your cards and
- 5:58Speaker 1: you playing them the same way. See, until you make
- 6:01Speaker 1: a conscientious different, the conscious decision to do something different,
- 6:07Speaker 1: the results will continue to be the same. See here's
- 6:14Speaker 1: the way this works. When you're dealt to disappointments in life,
- 6:18Speaker 1: it's how you handle the disappointments that determine the outcome
- 6:22Speaker 1: and who you are. Because everybody gonna be disappointment, everybody
- 6:26Speaker 1: gonna lose a love one, everybody gonna make a bad decision,
- 6:30Speaker 1: everybody gonna end wake up one morning they have done
- 6:32Speaker 1: something they regretted. Everybody gonna get caught at the wrong time.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Every everybody gonna make a mistake. It ain't just you.
- 6:40Speaker 1: That is how you play your cards when they get
- 6:43Speaker 1: dealt to you, that determine who you are. Na how
- 6:46Speaker 1: do I play my cards better? First of all, it's
- 6:49Speaker 1: a mindset. Quit looking at everything as just the end
- 6:53Speaker 1: when it happens to you. Oh lord, woe is me? Nah,
- 6:57Speaker 1: everybody got your circumstances somewhere. It ain't old. Woe is me.
- 7:03Speaker 1: It's hold on, man, Okay, let me play this out
- 7:06Speaker 1: to see how God then connected this to something else. See.
- 7:09Speaker 1: As soon as a person have a setback, what's the
- 7:11Speaker 1: first thing A lot of people do, they go straight negative.
- 7:14Speaker 1: I can't see him to get a break. I can't
- 7:16Speaker 1: see him move forward. Hold on, man, do you realize
- 7:19Speaker 1: this could be connected to something? See you got to understand, man,
- 7:23Speaker 1: that this thing is all connected. That you're not having
- 7:26Speaker 1: these mishaps and these spills and accidents and falls for
- 7:29Speaker 1: no reason. It's so you can become experienced at them.
- 7:33Speaker 1: So when he takes you to the next level, when
- 7:35Speaker 1: it happens again, you have no how and how to
- 7:37Speaker 1: handle it. If you keep throwing yourself off the cliff
- 7:41Speaker 1: every time something happened, you're just gonna be a cliff diver. Man,
- 7:45Speaker 1: Stop tripping yourself out. I was talking to this young person,
- 7:49Speaker 1: I kept saying, and you know what they try to
- 7:51Speaker 1: tell me. I'm trying to stay positive. But the people
- 7:54Speaker 1: around here, they're just killing that. Oh I see. So
- 7:58Speaker 1: when you learn something and you know something, you don't
- 8:01Speaker 1: take ownership of it. You allow other people to come
- 8:05Speaker 1: into what you know and believe and shake it loose
- 8:09Speaker 1: from you. I don't care who you are. You're not
- 8:10Speaker 1: doing me like that. Here's a deal. I have a
- 8:13Speaker 1: gift that was given to me from God. That is
- 8:15Speaker 1: the gift of comedy. That's what I've done. I've made
- 8:18Speaker 1: the bulk of my living on that skill set. Right there.
- 8:22Speaker 1: That are comedians who are supposedly friends of mine, who
- 8:26Speaker 1: I've worked with, who get around in huddles with one
- 8:28Speaker 1: another and they say, man, Steve really ain't funny. I
- 8:31Speaker 1: don't see what they'd be laughing at. He ain't funny
- 8:34Speaker 1: to me. He wasn't the funniest king to me. Excuse me,
- 8:39Speaker 1: you're irrelevant in this conversation because it regardless as to
- 8:42Speaker 1: how you feel about me. That are people think that
- 8:45Speaker 1: I'm knocked down kill over funny. But more importantly, I
- 8:49Speaker 1: own the gift that God gave to me. I take
- 8:52Speaker 1: ownership of his blessing. Because you don't think it's so,
- 8:56Speaker 1: You ain't taking that from me. Stop letting people steal
- 8:59Speaker 1: your joy. Stop letting people take what you're supposed to know. Look,
- 9:05Speaker 1: I'm a I'm a I'm a I'm a kind person
- 9:07Speaker 1: at heart. Man, You ain't nothing now, you said if
- 9:10Speaker 1: you're going, man, I guess I ain't what you're tripping for.
- 9:13Speaker 1: You are a kind person, own that, take ownership of it.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Stop letting things God has given you be taken away
- 9:23Speaker 1: from others. The devil's a cold player, and he got
- 9:25Speaker 1: cold players working for him, just shaking, just taking stuff
- 9:29Speaker 1: from you. You know, I'm a hard worker. I really
- 9:32Speaker 1: am intelligent. You stupid man. I thought I was a
- 9:35Speaker 1: hard worker. Man. They came in here and said I
- 9:37Speaker 1: was stupid. Man, I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
- 9:40Speaker 1: What excuse me? You're a very bright person. Hey, y'all
- 9:45Speaker 1: take ownership when God gives you something, blesses you would
- 9:47Speaker 1: have gifted talent, a skill set, a mindset. Own it.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Don't let people come in here and take it from you. Man, Okay,
- 9:55Speaker 1: I probably shouldn't do with it. You're listening, Ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Twenty twenty two has a ride. Here's the exciting news
- 10:08Speaker 1: about it. You were here to greet it and participate
- 10:13Speaker 1: in it. I don't want you to lose sight of that. Blessing,
- 10:16Speaker 1: don't you Dad? Do that for a moment. We are
- 10:19Speaker 1: all blessed to be here today, no matter how it's going,
- 10:23Speaker 1: and the fact that you are up again today, you
- 10:25Speaker 1: should understand that that is another gift from God to
- 10:29Speaker 1: give you another opportunity to move forward, however you choose
- 10:34Speaker 1: to do it. I choose to do it with gratitude.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Thank you, Lord. Steve hard Martin show. That's how we're
- 10:39Speaker 1: doing it, Early twenty twenty two. You know what I'm saying.
- 10:42Speaker 1: This is the Shirley Strawberry Carlin for Rell, that dog
- 10:45Speaker 1: Gonna kill Space better known as Junior, making life changing
- 10:48Speaker 1: decisions along the way to legend Nephew Tommy. That girl
- 10:52Speaker 1: in the background nobody ever hears from with the voice
- 10:55Speaker 1: of a ninety five year old person, missus sipping Monica, Oh,
- 11:06Speaker 1: pretty smile, take care of herself, pretty little girl. Man
- 11:10Speaker 1: Justice just as kind. And you know the thing about
- 11:13Speaker 1: Monica is she she's so she acted like she want
- 11:17Speaker 1: to be by herself, but she don't because you know,
- 11:19Speaker 1: she always socializing somewhere, all that, all that the game
- 11:23Speaker 1: and everything always somewhere anyway. What That's how I wanted
- 11:28Speaker 1: to start the show. What's up, junior man? Let me
- 11:32Speaker 1: ask you something. Man, at the sixty five years and everything, Man,
- 11:35Speaker 1: you had chances to just go off of people, but
- 11:40Speaker 1: you choose not to know why? Why is that you
- 11:43Speaker 1: had to grow into that. He didn't went on people. Well,
- 11:48Speaker 1: what you're talking about? You talking about when they listen
- 11:54Speaker 1: to him. He just turned sixty five. He ain't had
- 11:59Speaker 1: a chance. It's just a question. It's not an junior
- 12:04Speaker 1: junior listened to me. What what my obvious team fails
- 12:09Speaker 1: to realize is that I have grown over the years
- 12:15Speaker 1: and pulled back considerably, been way more than I ever was.
- 12:22Speaker 1: But due to the fact of lawsuits and loss of
- 12:25Speaker 1: income and brand damage, I have restrained myself many times.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Oh nah, I have selectively going off from occasion to
- 12:37Speaker 1: straighten a person out here? Are there? That was not
- 12:41Speaker 1: the will of God. So what I chose to do
- 12:49Speaker 1: was to just sometimes I'm human and I'll snapped cracker pop.
- 12:53Speaker 1: You know, I'm rice Christmas. You know I don't need milk, water,
- 12:57Speaker 1: water get the same thing. So you know, it's snap
- 13:01Speaker 1: the cracker in the pop. Yeah, morning, you can get it.
- 13:05Speaker 1: It's just boshed. You don't snap cracker pop because I'm
- 13:10Speaker 1: because I'm human and so uh, as I move forward,
- 13:14Speaker 1: I'm trying to grow better and become less of that,
- 13:18Speaker 1: and I do record. Thank you, Junior for recognizing that,
- 13:22Speaker 1: unlike some of the Morning show hate coming from the
- 13:26Speaker 1: King of pranks. And oh yeah, it's not that other
- 13:30Speaker 1: damn time where he saw me coming up next. It
- 13:38Speaker 1: is the phone call with the nephew at thirty two
- 13:41Speaker 1: minutes after when we come back right after this, you're
- 13:44Speaker 1: listening to show. All right, guys, it is time to
- 13:49Speaker 1: run the prank back with the nephew. What you got now, Well,
- 13:52Speaker 1: we're gonna praise dance Shirley. You know, every church has
- 13:55Speaker 1: a praise dance ministry. It's become popular. Don't like them,
- 14:01Speaker 1: the praise dance hater, the praise dance haters. Breathing heavily,
- 14:06Speaker 1: puffing and puff over. Yeah, ladies and gentlemen, join us
- 14:10Speaker 1: with the praise dance prank. Here. Hello, this is the
- 14:16Speaker 1: day that the Lord is made. Let us rejoice and
- 14:18Speaker 1: be glad in And how you doing? I'm looking for
- 14:20Speaker 1: uh Stania. This is Sitana, Satia. This is Brother Fuller
- 14:25Speaker 1: from the church. How are you? Oh, I'm Brother full
- 14:28Speaker 1: How are you I'm good, I'm good. Um. We wanted
- 14:32Speaker 1: to give you a call about the about the praise
- 14:34Speaker 1: dancing that's at the church. First of all, I wanted
- 14:35Speaker 1: to really show you how much you're doing a great
- 14:38Speaker 1: job over there with the praise dances and you you
- 14:40Speaker 1: definitely do a great job on uh. I hap the
- 14:42Speaker 1: third tenty that you guys actually perform. Everybody seemed to
- 14:45Speaker 1: really like it. Well, thank you, thank you. What can
- 14:47Speaker 1: I do for you today? It was a bit of
- 14:49Speaker 1: a situation with um. You know, it's been brought to
- 14:52Speaker 1: our attention. We actually had a small gathering, a little
- 14:54Speaker 1: meeting about it and wanted to I've been elected to
- 14:56Speaker 1: actually give you a call. Who is this? I'm sorry,
- 15:00Speaker 1: who are you again? Brother Fuller? Uh huh and and
- 15:03Speaker 1: and who had a meeting uh some of the brothers
- 15:07Speaker 1: at the church and uh path to ask you sat
- 15:09Speaker 1: in for a moment on it. And I was actually
- 15:12Speaker 1: elected to actually just give you a call. That nothing
- 15:14Speaker 1: that I don't think we can't get rectified, and you know,
- 15:17Speaker 1: move on slowly as we normally do. But I just
- 15:20Speaker 1: think it's we wanted to reach out to you and
- 15:22Speaker 1: kind of make you aware of it. If it's if
- 15:24Speaker 1: you don't mind, okay, um, and what things are those? Well,
- 15:30Speaker 1: sister Tanya, has any of the praise dancers before they
- 15:35Speaker 1: became praise dancers? Was was? Was any of them strippers?
- 15:41Speaker 1: I beg your Pardner, Was any of the praise dancers
- 15:45Speaker 1: that at the church that you have on the praise
- 15:48Speaker 1: team right now? Was any of them strippers in the past?
- 15:51Speaker 1: I'm sorry, sir, I don't I don't really know who
- 15:53Speaker 1: you are, um, and I don't really understand this line
- 15:56Speaker 1: of question. But like I said, i'm brother full of
- 15:58Speaker 1: I don't think we've met. Uh. Like I said, I've
- 16:01Speaker 1: been elected to give you a call. Now. It seems
- 16:04Speaker 1: like what happened is this past week when you all
- 16:06Speaker 1: actually danced, it seemed like a couple of the girls
- 16:10Speaker 1: was actually the gy raiding doing the praise routine. Hey,
- 16:14Speaker 1: what jat raiding? Brother Fuller, I don't know who you are,
- 16:17Speaker 1: and I don't know what you saw. None of my
- 16:19Speaker 1: girls with j raiding. They would dancing for the Lord.
- 16:23Speaker 1: And I think if you look through your Lord's eye,
- 16:25Speaker 1: perhaps you would see them better instead of maybe you
- 16:27Speaker 1: were looking through the jar raiding eye. Look, a couple
- 16:31Speaker 1: of the girls we can point them out a couple
- 16:32Speaker 1: of them, how uh, strip girl tendencies of it? Then?
- 16:36Speaker 1: Because some of them has been strip girls tendencies? You
- 16:39Speaker 1: know what, sir? I think we need to complete this call.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Perhaps I need to call Bishop and speak to him myself,
- 16:45Speaker 1: because you know, I don't know what you do all days,
- 16:48Speaker 1: but I have a real job and I'm sitting here
- 16:49Speaker 1: holding a conversation in my office about jar raiding strippers
- 16:53Speaker 1: in the church. Are you kidding me? Man? Listen? Now
- 16:56Speaker 1: here's a couple other things that they're talking about. Some
- 16:58Speaker 1: of the girls feet a real ass you when you
- 17:01Speaker 1: all a performing and they want to see it, maybe
- 17:04Speaker 1: you can, you can. I don't know. Maybe I don't
- 17:06Speaker 1: know if y'all need to grip or whatever that y'all don't.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Y'all don't put lotion on. We're not sure what that is.
- 17:11Speaker 1: As well as the totalail piler. Everybody has three, four,
- 17:16Speaker 1: five different designs and everything is it? Any way, y'all
- 17:19Speaker 1: can be in unison with your totalail polis. But the
- 17:22Speaker 1: most important thing fill the ji raton doing the dance routine.
- 17:26Speaker 1: I don't know what your feet look like. I don't
- 17:28Speaker 1: need you calling me talking to me about my girls,
- 17:30Speaker 1: their feet, their nail pilers. Perhaps your man should be
- 17:33Speaker 1: on Jesus instead of on them. How about that man?
- 17:37Speaker 1: From my mind, I don't have time. I don't have
- 17:40Speaker 1: time and to be on Jesus when somebody's shaking them.
- 17:43Speaker 1: But at the church, that's the problem. I know what. Look,
- 17:46Speaker 1: I'm at work now. I'm trying to keep a work tone.
- 17:50Speaker 1: You don't make me curse up in here and let
- 17:51Speaker 1: me tell you something. Don't call me anymore. I will
- 17:54Speaker 1: deal with pastor. If he has something to say with me,
- 17:56Speaker 1: he can say it to me personally. But I'm done
- 17:58Speaker 1: with this conversation. Are you gonna deal with the jy rating?
- 18:01Speaker 1: Is what we want to know? Maybe you know what?
- 18:04Speaker 1: It just hit me. Maybe you're one of the ones
- 18:06Speaker 1: that's doing the gy rate. Look, let me tell you something.
- 18:09Speaker 1: My girls ain't doing a rating, and neither am I.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Now I am done with this conversation. Do you understand?
- 18:14Speaker 1: But listen, I'm done all You're done with the time rating.
- 18:17Speaker 1: That's what we wanted to stop so we can we
- 18:19Speaker 1: can't praise the Lord if the boot isn't shake you
- 18:22Speaker 1: know what, church, Look, I gotta go to work. I
- 18:26Speaker 1: gotta go now again. I don't know what your issue is.
- 18:28Speaker 1: It sounds to me like you have an issue which
- 18:31Speaker 1: I reading booties and I heard so much gy reading
- 18:33Speaker 1: booties in one conversation in my entire life. Now my
- 18:36Speaker 1: mind is set on Jesus. I don't know what your
- 18:37Speaker 1: mind is set on. What's to tell you? Before you
- 18:39Speaker 1: was a praise then a ministry over the ministry? Did
- 18:44Speaker 1: you el used to strip? Yeah? I didn't do no stripping.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Maybe did your wife do any stripping? What did you?
- 18:49Speaker 1: I'm gonna do any stripping? Whatever you heard what I said,
- 18:53Speaker 1: how do you like doing? Somebody call you would ask
- 18:55Speaker 1: you if your mamma get some strip? And how do
- 18:56Speaker 1: you like that? I'm saying, you know what I want
- 18:58Speaker 1: to know? When is the next rehearsal? That the way
- 19:01Speaker 1: I can come and pick out of who it is
- 19:02Speaker 1: that's doing this time. Well, you don't have you don't
- 19:04Speaker 1: have any visages at my rehearsal. I don't want to
- 19:06Speaker 1: see you at my rehearsal. I don't want to. I
- 19:08Speaker 1: don't want to see any part for you. In my words,
- 19:10Speaker 1: if I see you near one of my girls, That's
- 19:11Speaker 1: why I'm coming after you myself. Do you understand me?
- 19:13Speaker 1: I need to find out who's doing that job. You
- 19:15Speaker 1: don't thing? You need to say your body in your
- 19:18Speaker 1: own high and I'm glad y'all ain't then and when
- 19:21Speaker 1: the platists being plays because I ain't not telling her
- 19:23Speaker 1: you act with them ones coming through it? You know what?
- 19:25Speaker 1: That's it. That's it. You call me disrespecting me. I'm
- 19:28Speaker 1: at work. They can't even have this to more. You
- 19:30Speaker 1: know what, don't call me no more. Don't look at
- 19:32Speaker 1: my girls no more. Man, Come to the church and
- 19:34Speaker 1: see what I got for you. I don't want to know.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Is you're gonna stop the job rating? What is gonna
- 19:38Speaker 1: do it? And that's gonna do it? Who they do?

- 19:44Speaker 1: of side yea must have done listening to tell you
- 19:48Speaker 1: now I'm getting ready to get well. I got one

- 19:52Speaker 1: you ain't got a thing to say to me? I said,
- 19:54Speaker 1: I was telling, And I said I got one more
- 19:55Speaker 1: thing to say. It is you listen you know what, man,
- 19:57Speaker 1: get off of my phone. I'm gonna say it anyway.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Is nephew Tommy's from the Steve Harvey Morning Show, your

- 20:17Speaker 1: I think I'm cursing on the radio. Oh oh, oh,
- 20:21Speaker 1: I think I'm gonna have a show. Hey, I got
- 20:24Speaker 1: one thing to ask you, telling you what is the
- 20:26Speaker 1: baddest radio show in the land, nobody else for the
- 20:30Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show, Carolyn car y'all want to do
- 20:35Speaker 1: a praise dance together? That'd be nice. I don't want
- 20:39Speaker 1: to do a nice praise damn, but just don't be
- 20:41Speaker 1: doing a gy rating while y'all doing it. Praise anyway,
- 20:46Speaker 1: Thank you, nephew. Coming up next, it is asked the
- 20:49Speaker 1: clo with our Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey, Ready for
- 20:53Speaker 1: your love questions? You got him, He'll answer him right
- 20:56Speaker 1: after that. Ready for love? What you're coming up at
- 21:03Speaker 1: the top of the hour. In today's entertainment news, celebrities
- 21:06Speaker 1: fight to stop the use of song lyrics in court,
- 21:09Speaker 1: and reality star Porsha Williams fiance does not play about
- 21:14Speaker 1: her Okay, right now it is time. We'll get into
- 21:18Speaker 1: that a little later, but right now it is time
- 21:20Speaker 1: to ask the CLO Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in
- 21:24Speaker 1: the building. This one's from Mario in DC. Mario writes,
- 21:29Speaker 1: my current girlfriend has been married twice, and I will
- 21:32Speaker 1: be her third husband if I decide to propose. She's
- 21:36Speaker 1: well known and highly favored because of her physique, and
- 21:40Speaker 1: she won a local pageant. Whether I'm at the gym
- 21:43Speaker 1: or church, men, give me props for dating her. My
- 21:46Speaker 1: brother was in town recently and he saw how she
- 21:49Speaker 1: turns heads. He thinks it's a red flag. So now
- 21:52Speaker 1: I'm doubting my relationship with her. Is she popular or
- 21:56Speaker 1: is she for the streets? I mean, dog, Mario, one
- 22:08Speaker 1: of the reasons you want her is because she turned
- 22:11Speaker 1: your head. She's a head turner. You're in a small town.
- 22:16Speaker 1: This is a once and once again. This is a
- 22:18Speaker 1: small town letter. You know, she wanted the pageant, you know,
- 22:22Speaker 1: but she been married. You know the everybody want to
- 22:26Speaker 1: pageant small town and they ain't have me in LA.
- 22:29Speaker 1: You know, she wanted pageant in her town. She's been
- 22:32Speaker 1: there and how many times twice before, you know, and
- 22:37Speaker 1: she got how many kids? Okay, so your brother comes
- 22:46Speaker 1: in town, think it's a red flag. Well, it's a
- 22:50Speaker 1: red flag for him. People become better, people change. I
- 22:55Speaker 1: wouldn't I wouldn't put too much mess on your brother here?
- 23:00Speaker 1: Who is your brother? I mean, you know, let me
- 23:05Speaker 1: help you out right here? My friend feeling there? Appointed
- 23:11Speaker 1: dude ten. They keep trying to tell me that I
- 23:18Speaker 1: ought to not let you just walk on me. And
- 23:22Speaker 1: sometimes you have to go to old songs like that.
- 23:26Speaker 1: And I'm sure he meant well, and it's true, you
- 23:31Speaker 1: really do kind of abuse me. But I want to
- 23:35Speaker 1: spread the news that if you feel this good getting you,
- 23:40Speaker 1: you just keep on using me to quaranty you use
- 23:44Speaker 1: me up now. Bill wrote a song about it, that
- 23:49Speaker 1: a girl ain't done nothing wrong to you, though, but
- 23:52Speaker 1: she's a head turner. I would say, follow your heart,
- 23:55Speaker 1: follow your instincts, and go forward with the girl. Man,
- 24:01Speaker 1: it's okay. She's bad. When she's bad, women get reputation
- 24:07Speaker 1: sometimes undeservedly. Undeservedly, And who is your damn brother? Right on?
- 24:15Speaker 1: Moving on? How you want to be with somebody? Don't
- 24:20Speaker 1: turn no, he that's my question. Moving on to Raynel
- 24:27Speaker 1: in Shreveport, Clo. My thirty year old son is a
- 24:31Speaker 1: womanizer and it is ruining my reputation at church. He
- 24:35Speaker 1: was dating a single mother at the church and her
- 24:37Speaker 1: teenage son caught a woman in their home one day
- 24:41Speaker 1: when he came home early for school. My son is
- 24:44Speaker 1: trifling and he lives off women, and that too, is embarrassing.
- 24:49Speaker 1: I'm tired of the messages he creates. Is it possible
- 24:52Speaker 1: to reraise a grown man? Reray? No, it's not. No,
- 24:58Speaker 1: it's not That's not even a term. You can look
- 25:01Speaker 1: that up in the dictionary. It's not there. Reraise ready?
- 25:06Speaker 1: You know how I know it's not a word because
- 25:08Speaker 1: I've never used it, and I've used every wrong word
- 25:11Speaker 1: that he is, So if it's a wrong word, I've
- 25:14Speaker 1: used it, I've never used it, which I know. If
- 25:17Speaker 1: you reraise, do you know how many times one, two,
- 25:24Speaker 1: three of us on this show would have reraised somebody?
- 25:27Speaker 1: Not today, if it's possible, we would have reraised somebody.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Ain't how this word? No? You can't reraise him right now?
- 25:38Speaker 1: Is Renell? Stop letting him mess up your reputation. This
- 25:43Speaker 1: hant him being a womanizer has nothing to do with parenting.
- 25:46Speaker 1: She went over this the other day. Right now, just
- 25:52Speaker 1: doing what he want to do. Trifling Here, Womanizer wrote
- 25:57Speaker 1: the answer the question. That's the mom he said, sounded
- 26:00Speaker 1: like that his name right. He sounded like a right now,
- 26:06Speaker 1: don't it like my girlfriend says it, Dodd. He sounded
- 26:11Speaker 1: like right now, he's a woman out of here at
- 26:14Speaker 1: the church. The only thing you could do is switched churches.
- 26:18Speaker 1: And don't tell him which one you join him. No, no, no, no,
- 26:24Speaker 1: you can't reraise him. Don't worry about he gonna pay
- 26:27Speaker 1: for all this. Listen to me, you ain't got raised
- 26:30Speaker 1: a finger. Life. Life is to do him, So just
- 26:35Speaker 1: just don't sit back and watch the show. All the
- 26:38Speaker 1: mothers in the church, Steve, you know, give her the
- 26:40Speaker 1: side eye and all of that. Who now, Shirley, the mothers,
- 26:44Speaker 1: you know, all of them who get yeah, all they're
- 26:46Speaker 1: looking at him crazy, but you know, but they but
- 26:48Speaker 1: they wondered about him too though now sire, Oh, they're
- 26:51Speaker 1: thinking about it. They'd like to see it now, they'd
- 26:54Speaker 1: like to see him. I don't know what they're doing,
- 26:58Speaker 1: but he must be doing something like he running through
- 27:02Speaker 1: this church like a tornado. He's sweeping through this choir.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Heater did to hold out to bo here. I don't
- 27:13Speaker 1: know what he's doing, but he bringing something. He swinging
- 27:17Speaker 1: some leather in hill. It's something going on under that
- 27:24Speaker 1: choir robe. I'll tell you that. Moving to Selina. Now,
- 27:33Speaker 1: baby boy, something el I tell you what. I tell
- 27:38Speaker 1: you what he but I swing through my Bible study
- 27:46Speaker 1: sea here if you want to something happened to you
- 27:49Speaker 1: in the name of Jesus will and I'm that noted.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Let it be your last run through. Come on over here.
- 28:03Speaker 1: I wish she would go on go I put something
- 28:07Speaker 1: on it. But who is she talking? Come over here.
- 28:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna lay you down like Lazarus. Come out. But
- 28:16Speaker 1: who is she talking to? Steve? Who is she talking
- 28:20Speaker 1: in her mind? Every time he goes in the collection
- 28:24Speaker 1: fla she's sitting there. Then come again, look ask you.
- 28:30Speaker 1: I see your print, I see you, see you what
- 28:35Speaker 1: I see your print? Only man come around collection, pray
- 28:39Speaker 1: with you. Just only man come around and got out
- 28:46Speaker 1: a camera coat. We gotta go, We gotta I see
- 28:54Speaker 1: your big brother. Get right. Church. I'm on over here
- 29:00Speaker 1: to one of these grown women and see what's really
- 29:03Speaker 1: going on. What I got for you? Oh right, we
- 29:10Speaker 1: gotta go. Thank you, Clo and the mothers of the church.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour. We'll have
- 29:18Speaker 1: some entertainment news for you. Right after this, you're listening
- 29:21Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Jay Z along with
- 29:26Speaker 1: Meek Mill, Big Sean, Fat Joe, Yo Gotti, and Kill
- 29:30Speaker 1: It Mike, are all in support of a new New
- 29:32Speaker 1: York state law which would prevent prosecutors from using song
- 29:36Speaker 1: lyrics in court as evidence of alleged crimes. It's not
- 29:40Speaker 1: just rappers who are pushing for the new legislation. Singers
- 29:43Speaker 1: Kelly Rowland and Robin Thicke have also joined the cause.
- 29:47Speaker 1: The artists have sent a letter to the New York
- 29:49Speaker 1: Governor in support of the bill, rat music on Trial.
- 29:53Speaker 1: Earlier this week, the bill was moved forward by the
- 29:55Speaker 1: Senate Coats Committee, So we'll see what happens. Artists should
- 29:59Speaker 1: be free to make their art without fear that it
- 30:01Speaker 1: can and will be used against them in court. That
- 30:04Speaker 1: is their argument. That makes perfect sense. Man. You don't look, man,
- 30:11Speaker 1: A guy writing a song is not his life, you know.
- 30:16Speaker 1: Rap music is not documentaries. You know, come on, you
- 30:21Speaker 1: know characters. Half of these people that rap don't even
- 30:24Speaker 1: write their own lyrics. A lot of them do, but
- 30:27Speaker 1: a lot of them don't. Oh that's dope. Write that
- 30:30Speaker 1: down a lot of when you ain't write, needs a
- 30:32Speaker 1: lot of them just writing so it can rhyme. Really, yeah,
- 30:37Speaker 1: there ain't they life. You can't do that to a person. Man,
- 30:41Speaker 1: I don't know the new rap game. I just wish
- 30:43Speaker 1: that it would be more songs about uplifting, helping, investing,
- 30:48Speaker 1: and that's what you're looking for. I just wish it
- 30:52Speaker 1: was more of that. Well, it should have been more
- 30:57Speaker 1: than that, more more of that, but it's more I've
- 31:00Speaker 1: been saying now to me with the news sounds. That's
- 31:04Speaker 1: just my opinion. I just I don't think that they
- 31:08Speaker 1: take as much time anymore to write lyrics just about
- 31:13Speaker 1: the money now, I just don't. I don't. I don't
- 31:15Speaker 1: think the time is invested in the lyrics, and I
- 31:17Speaker 1: don't think the time is invested in the sound. I
- 31:21Speaker 1: heard Scarface say that very same thing. Yeah, yeah, I
- 31:23Speaker 1: just yeah, or the killing on the songs just about
- 31:29Speaker 1: the message, yeah, each other. I just want to see
- 31:35Speaker 1: the cream rides to the top. You know, if you're talented,
- 31:38Speaker 1: then't left the talent people or anybody make or anybody
- 31:41Speaker 1: everybody independent. Now everybody's streaming. Now, everybody got their own
- 31:47Speaker 1: record label. Now everybody got their own deal. Now that's
- 31:50Speaker 1: you ain't gotta sign no more. So now you got
- 31:52Speaker 1: people who would never get signed. Who is just own
- 31:57Speaker 1: and even in their own little way, they just own. No.
- 32:02Speaker 1: They go out, they spend all their money, get one
- 32:04Speaker 1: big chain, put that on Instagram and get a stack
- 32:08Speaker 1: of money. Spread it out on the table. If you
- 32:11Speaker 1: look real careful, be a lot of fives in the path.
- 32:14Speaker 1: And then they act like they got an owning poppet
- 32:20Speaker 1: and other news. Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsche Williams
- 32:25Speaker 1: fiance Simon Gobati ups gave her at Steve check this
- 32:30Speaker 1: out close to four hundred thousand dollar Rolls Royce it
- 32:33Speaker 1: was a ghost, and then had to silence the haters
- 32:37Speaker 1: after comments suggested that it was the same car his
- 32:40Speaker 1: ex wife used to drive, Simon jumped into the comments
- 32:44Speaker 1: on the shave Room to set the record straight. He
- 32:46Speaker 1: let everyone know that his ex wife drives a Rose
- 32:51Speaker 1: Royce Dawn and Porsche's gift is a ghost, a Rose
- 32:54Speaker 1: Roy's ghost. That's how you silence the haters. Simon Porsche
- 32:58Speaker 1: posted a picture showing offer a new platinum exterior and
- 33:01Speaker 1: orange interior Rolls Royce with the caption the only way
- 33:06Speaker 1: you win is if I quit. I like that the
- 33:13Speaker 1: only way you win because it was controversial. You know
- 33:20Speaker 1: how she got her fiance all of that. I have
- 33:25Speaker 1: no comments about this. I don't. I can't afford either
- 33:27Speaker 1: one of them things. I'm I'm good on this one.
- 33:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna step out up. You want to take this? No,
- 33:33Speaker 1: you don't want to hate Junior, I can't hate. I'm
- 33:36Speaker 1: over hand, alexis what the hell about? I'm even commenting?
- 33:41Speaker 1: For hell? You write something? You're a kid of prestige.
- 33:45Speaker 1: You were talking about this man up. But but but
- 33:52Speaker 1: it's people who want to find a reason not to
- 33:56Speaker 1: celebrate them. That's that's the same car he gate? What Yeah,
- 34:02Speaker 1: how do you man? Where you get that from? Got
- 34:05Speaker 1: your donut on your car? But you don't would care
- 34:08Speaker 1: what you said was significant. I mean even though you
- 34:11Speaker 1: said in a joking way, because it's the haters are
- 34:14Speaker 1: the people that have lesson in you, people that have
- 34:16Speaker 1: more than you. Don't care what you want. You wanted
- 34:20Speaker 1: to go from rolls to somebody. That's a beautiful thing
- 34:23Speaker 1: to do for somebody, right, congratulations. Yeah, People who got
- 34:29Speaker 1: it going on, who are shakers, moves and decision makers
- 34:33Speaker 1: they don't have time to blog. They don't even have time.
- 34:39Speaker 1: They don't even know. I would have to call up
- 34:41Speaker 1: my friends and go, hey, man, you know they're talking
- 34:43Speaker 1: about me on the internet. Excuse what they would look
- 34:47Speaker 1: at me and Scott crazy Steve. Yeah, they talking about
- 34:52Speaker 1: me on the internet on what they don't even know
- 34:58Speaker 1: what it is, Stevie. Okay, yeah, all right, shakers and movers.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Ain't got no time for that, right. But I liked
- 35:04Speaker 1: that he came to the rescue, you know, of his fiance.
- 35:08Speaker 1: I do like that. You know, calls you can't even
- 35:11Speaker 1: buy dyner. They're both balling the last lady and in
- 35:15Speaker 1: this lady they both balled. Yes, Yes, that's what he
- 35:19Speaker 1: wanted to say. No, want to do what is this?
- 35:24Speaker 1: People can do what they want with their money. You
- 35:27Speaker 1: make it comments and your car got reposised. Yes he
- 35:30Speaker 1: gave Yeah, like he he got one rolls and he's
- 35:33Speaker 1: passing it around to what he ain't gonna buy. No
- 35:38Speaker 1: cut list. I mean, you got death tape on your
- 35:42Speaker 1: back window making However, let me just speak from the
- 35:46Speaker 1: legal standpoint, but can't you can't give your current wife
- 35:52Speaker 1: nothing your ex wife had cast They took it all,
- 35:59Speaker 1: we'll have morning show coming up. We're gonna do more
- 36:03Speaker 1: questions with the CLO right after this. You're listening to show,
- 36:09Speaker 1: all right, So we're gonna go back to a couple
- 36:11Speaker 1: of questions we had left over from the CLO Chief
- 36:14Speaker 1: Love Officer Steve Harvey. This one is from Selena in Macon.
- 36:20Speaker 1: Selena writes, my husband of fourteen years stepped out on
- 36:23Speaker 1: me with one of my friends. She said it happened
- 36:26Speaker 1: only once after they had too much to drink. She
- 36:29Speaker 1: assured me it wouldn't happen again because he's terrible in bed.
- 36:34Speaker 1: We ended up laughing about it, and I told my
- 36:36Speaker 1: husband exactly what she said. He's more worried about clearing
- 36:41Speaker 1: his name, not his marriage. Are his priorities mixed up? Well, all, y'all,
- 36:48Speaker 1: priorities is mixed up. Your friend slept with your hus
- 36:54Speaker 1: y'all talked about it. You ended up laughing about it
- 36:57Speaker 1: because she said he terribly in bed, and we lad
- 36:59Speaker 1: by what was funny. Secondly, now y'all sitting up here,
- 37:05Speaker 1: you didn't told your hoof now he more concerned with
- 37:10Speaker 1: fixing his reputation that his marriage. So what did he
- 37:15Speaker 1: tell you? Let him have a second chance at home
- 37:19Speaker 1: point when he ain't drinking? What what what y'all talking about?
- 37:24Speaker 1: This whole thing is wall do it together, Steve things
- 37:28Speaker 1: to happen. I got this baby, watch me this time.
- 37:32Speaker 1: You tell me what you think you watch me? Yeah,
- 37:37Speaker 1: we're gonna do this no more. But you watch me now,
- 37:39Speaker 1: you tell me what you think I'm doing. Yeah, we're
- 37:41Speaker 1: gonna stop all this. Who ain't who ain't good? Who
- 37:47Speaker 1: watched your boy go to work? Yeah you drink? Just
- 37:54Speaker 1: watch me work? I watch you work all right? Moving
- 37:58Speaker 1: on Nita in Canton. Nita says, I'm a forty four
- 38:03Speaker 1: year old divorced woman and I had to move in
- 38:05Speaker 1: with my parents after my divorce. My father has me
- 38:08Speaker 1: doing chores daily and I have a curfew of twelve am. Uh.
- 38:14Speaker 1: I stayed out later Friday and my dad was waiting
- 38:17Speaker 1: up and he said I need to find somewhere else
- 38:19Speaker 1: to live. Then I heard him mumble that it is
- 38:22Speaker 1: probably why my husband put me out. I was cheated
- 38:25Speaker 1: on and he knows that. Why is he treating me
- 38:28Speaker 1: like a Jezebel? And why won't my mother stop him?
- 38:32Speaker 1: And why did you go today? Damn house? Legal question?
- 38:38Speaker 1: Who was your lawyer, how to hear you, farty folk,
- 38:42Speaker 1: ain't got to move back here. You didn't get the house,
- 38:46Speaker 1: you didn't get department, you didn't get what he cheated
- 38:49Speaker 1: on you. Who was your lawyer? And your daddy wants
- 38:53Speaker 1: to know who the damn lawyer? Will your dad it is?
- 38:57Speaker 1: I'm going all up in here with your old as
- 39:04Speaker 1: now here you are back again, back with more of
- 39:08Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show at thirty four minutes after.
- 39:10Speaker 1: Right after you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show, people,
- 39:17Speaker 1: beware of cyber criminals or scammers that are out now
- 39:20Speaker 1: trying to steal financial information through those QR codes that
- 39:25Speaker 1: restaurants and businesses have increasingly turned to using since the pandemic.
- 39:30Speaker 1: The FBI warns that scammers are using fraudulent bar codes
- 39:34Speaker 1: and when scanned, these codes go to malicious sites and
- 39:37Speaker 1: your data or your money is stolen. In a recent
- 39:41Speaker 1: FBI public advisory, it is noted that QR codes themselves
- 39:46Speaker 1: are not bad, but the ease to which criminals can
- 39:50Speaker 1: create fake codes to steal from others is a really
- 39:53Speaker 1: big concern for them. The FBI encourages us to use
- 39:57Speaker 1: to carefully check those websites at QR codes direct to
- 40:00Speaker 1: us before entering any personal information. Does that happen to anyway?
- 40:05Speaker 1: So when you go to the menu at the restaurant,
- 40:07Speaker 1: they can they can get some out of that. How
- 40:11Speaker 1: we gonna eat? Then? How we gonna I mean, how
- 40:14Speaker 1: are they getting something from the menu from the app?
- 40:17Speaker 1: I can getting my personal information? It's crazy. That is
- 40:22Speaker 1: crazy everywhere if you pay on the app, criminals m
- 40:28Speaker 1: I can pay for your meal on the app. You know,
- 40:31Speaker 1: I get my call. You got to run this. I'm
- 40:34Speaker 1: not then putting it on the app. Oh yeah, I
- 40:38Speaker 1: was saying that makes sense. But QR codes I don't.
- 40:43Speaker 1: I don't even know what y'all talking about. You you
- 40:45Speaker 1: don't have these at the restaurants you go to b Yeah,
- 40:49Speaker 1: they bring out nice velvet menus when you get that.
- 40:52Speaker 1: That's different. We have to take our phone and scan

- 47:10Speaker 1: my wife because of these text messits and in these
- 47:13Speaker 1: pictures and stuff. You know, I'm I'm the one. That's
- 47:16Speaker 1: why I say, Okay, I need to call this man
- 47:19Speaker 1: wife right here and see what you know? Do she
- 47:22Speaker 1: even know it? I need you to way to meet it?

- 47:55Speaker 1: him in the cell phone two weeks ago. That's what
- 47:57Speaker 1: I'm saying. Now. You say, if you're saying he don't work,
- 48:00Speaker 1: then evidently it must be doing the day while you
- 48:03Speaker 1: gone or something I don't do. I mean you you
- 48:06Speaker 1: say you on your lunch break right now? Yeah? Uh huh?
- 48:09Speaker 1: And where's your wife right now? Wait a minute? Where

- 48:14Speaker 1: she's boused to be at work right now. And you
- 48:16Speaker 1: know what I just called. He saw me was gonna

- 49:15Speaker 1: Because I see, don't start me. Yeah he's dropping them off. Okay,
- 49:20Speaker 1: uh huh. If you tell me the baby, just tell
- 49:22Speaker 1: me if our poem I sweat lining. No, now she's

- 50:14Speaker 1: You know it wasn't his party got laid out. But hey,
- 50:16Speaker 1: I want him to feel good although he's not work,

- 50:53Speaker 1: to be showing up no like trust me, it ain't
- 50:56Speaker 1: worse on. I was just with him because he was
- 50:58Speaker 1: a good man. I guess, Mike dumb to, I was
- 51:03Speaker 1: gonna ask shoot this hill because go add what do
- 51:06Speaker 1: you want to ask? What can you ask me? You
- 51:09Speaker 1: just thought me. This here, it's with your wife from
- 51:13Speaker 1: name Denise. Yes, that's what I said. And this is
- 51:16Speaker 1: the that's watching the twins and we have twins? Do
- 51:20Speaker 1: you hear me? Can I say something else to you?
- 51:22Speaker 1: I don't need you to say. Can I say one
- 51:25Speaker 1: more thing? What do you need to say? This is
- 51:28Speaker 1: nephew timent from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just
- 51:32Speaker 1: got prank by your husband. Gerald. Let me tell you
- 51:41Speaker 1: something got to be to be pranking me. He needs
- 51:46Speaker 1: to be found about it. Joe, this is I'm gonna
- 51:52Speaker 1: do when I get home kiss not working cooking the night.
- 51:59Speaker 1: Let me tell you I was saying that spade the
- 52:01Speaker 1: situation because first of all, I'm a woman, so I
- 52:04Speaker 1: want more information. But the special thing is we need
- 52:06Speaker 1: the job. Don't work. I shouldn't leave you work. I
- 52:13Speaker 1: gotta answer something. Baby, what's badest radio show in the land?
- 52:19Speaker 1: Definitely does see Harvard, you get thank you. I'm talking
- 52:31Speaker 1: about committing No. Yes, I loved her because I knew
- 52:36Speaker 1: she was real when she said, I get up at
- 52:39Speaker 1: four o'clock and then I got to be at the
- 52:41Speaker 1: job at six. I got to get everything prepared. But
- 52:44Speaker 1: she said I got to be at work at six.
- 52:47Speaker 1: That's when I said, okay, she real yeah, because she
- 52:50Speaker 1: should have happened her day. Yeah, and you called me.
- 52:57Speaker 1: You should have been called me? Still you holding it

- 53:58Speaker 1: never know it could be yours. Buggle up and hold
- 54:03Speaker 1: on tight. We got it for you. Here. It is
- 54:04Speaker 1: to Strawberry letter thank you, nephew's subject. I need to
- 54:08Speaker 1: get away for a while. Just Stephen Shirley. I'm a
- 54:12Speaker 1: forty three year old married woman and my husband and
- 54:14Speaker 1: I have four children. The teenagers are fine, but I
- 54:18Speaker 1: went and had two younger children that get on my
- 54:21Speaker 1: last nerve. They take so much time and energy that
- 54:24Speaker 1: I don't feel like I have any time for myself.
- 54:27Speaker 1: My husband doesn't help me out at all with the children,
- 54:31Speaker 1: so I'm a full time housewife and mother. My husband
- 54:35Speaker 1: used to come home during the day for a quickie,
- 54:37Speaker 1: but he stopped doing that. Our three year old usually
- 54:40Speaker 1: comes in our room at night, so I stopped trying
- 54:42Speaker 1: to have sex a year ago. That doesn't mean that
- 54:45Speaker 1: I don't need to or want to. I just don't
- 54:48Speaker 1: want to do it with my husband or in the
- 54:50Speaker 1: US at all. My girlfriends and I are going through
- 54:56Speaker 1: similar experiences, and one of them research to make Asian
- 55:00Speaker 1: spot with men there to cater to women twenty four
- 55:04Speaker 1: seven and older ladies. She knows went there for news
- 55:08Speaker 1: for New Year's and she had so much good sex.
- 55:10Speaker 1: She's good until twenty twenty three. I just want the
- 55:14Speaker 1: experience of being with someone else, someone that has a
- 55:18Speaker 1: lot of stamina and knows what he's doing. I just
- 55:22Speaker 1: need to get away for a while. I know this
- 55:24Speaker 1: is unbelievable for a woman to have this type of request,
- 55:28Speaker 1: but men do it all the time. I'm pretty sure
- 55:31Speaker 1: back in the day when my husband went away with
- 55:33Speaker 1: his friends, he wasn't an angel and possibly cheated on
- 55:36Speaker 1: me because he would always come back bright eyed and
- 55:39Speaker 1: bushey tailed and want to please me over and over.
- 55:43Speaker 1: These days are Those days are long gone? And now
- 55:47Speaker 1: I need to go and sew my royal oates before
- 55:50Speaker 1: I lose my mind. I love my husband dearly, so
- 55:54Speaker 1: I'm doing this for us and so our marital bond
- 55:58Speaker 1: can stay strong. Just like a man might ask you,
- 56:02Speaker 1: I'm asking, how do I get my husband to agree
- 56:05Speaker 1: to me leaving him with the children? Where Yeah, yeah,
- 56:15Speaker 1: you heard it. So you're a full time housewife and mother, okay,
- 56:20Speaker 1: whose children get on your nerves and your husband doesn't help.
- 56:24Speaker 1: Your husband doesn't help with them. You said you went
- 56:27Speaker 1: and had two younger children, so I'm going to assume
- 56:30Speaker 1: you wanted them at the time. Now you're acting like
- 56:33Speaker 1: you forgot what three year olds do. I mean, come on, now,
- 56:37Speaker 1: every mom I agree with you here. Every mom needs
- 56:39Speaker 1: a break from time to time, a night's girl's night out,
- 56:43Speaker 1: fun girls trip or something like that, but not a
- 56:46Speaker 1: sexcation like you're talking about, to get done by some
- 56:51Speaker 1: random man at a resort. I mean, you're a married woman.
- 56:56Speaker 1: I know you know that, even though you said you
- 56:58Speaker 1: don't want to do it with your husband or anywhere
- 57:00Speaker 1: in the US. But you sound crazy. I mean, you
- 57:04Speaker 1: are married. Don't you even care about that? Your husband
- 57:08Speaker 1: is right there? I mean, why can't you guys try
- 57:10Speaker 1: to reignite that spark. There's nothing going on there. I
- 57:14Speaker 1: mean that seems to be the problem to me. You
- 57:16Speaker 1: don't care about your marriage right now. You've given up.
- 57:19Speaker 1: There's no romance, no excitement, no more working on the marriage.
- 57:22Speaker 1: You think going outside, going to the sex resort is
- 57:26Speaker 1: going to fix everything. It'll probably cause even more problems
- 57:30Speaker 1: for you. You got to at least try to honor
- 57:32Speaker 1: your vows. And as for the kids, your husband doesn't
- 57:35Speaker 1: get a pass. They're his kids too, so he definitely
- 57:38Speaker 1: should hold up his in and watch them while you
- 57:41Speaker 1: go to you know, get away, go to lunch with
- 57:44Speaker 1: your girls, get your nails, get your hair done, have
- 57:46Speaker 1: your teenagers pitch in sometimes too. I mean, they're solutions
- 57:50Speaker 1: to these problems that you're that you say you're having here.
- 57:53Speaker 1: I mean, I would try these things out before I
- 57:56Speaker 1: run off and cheat with another man. You know, I
- 58:00Speaker 1: don't know. This just is really crazy what you're asking
- 58:03Speaker 1: right now to me, Steve, Well, you know, the thing
- 58:10Speaker 1: about being second in the Strawberry letter is I have
- 58:15Speaker 1: an advantage where I get to hear what Shirley's going
- 58:18Speaker 1: to say, not that it affects her. Change is what
- 58:20Speaker 1: she's gonna say, and I've discovered it don't affect or
- 58:25Speaker 1: change nothing I'm gonna say either. It's just I read
- 58:30Speaker 1: different than Shirley because Shirley's a better reader than I am.
- 58:34Speaker 1: Shirley's more educated than I am. Shirley's more well spoken
- 58:38Speaker 1: than I am, more well read than I am. When
- 58:42Speaker 1: I read these letters, I don't know what I'll be reading,
- 58:46Speaker 1: but I don't know. I just see other stuff. So
- 58:52Speaker 1: here I go, reading as an ignorant person that ain't
- 58:58Speaker 1: really ignorant. Though. Here we go. Now you're forty through.
- 59:02Speaker 1: Y'all married woman, your husband, y'all got folk, kids, teenagers, fine,
- 59:06Speaker 1: and had two young kids to get on your last nerves. Oh,
- 59:09Speaker 1: I got seven and ain't none of them young, and
- 59:12Speaker 1: they get on my damn dars. Hello, Shelley's baby, get
- 59:16Speaker 1: on her nerves. Calla daughter, get on her damn nerves.
- 59:19Speaker 1: Sometimes two Oh, we hear all about the cheer leading
- 59:22Speaker 1: and any thing, but then all peaches and clean. Now
- 59:24Speaker 1: you won't what you gotta go where you want to
- 59:28Speaker 1: have a sleepover? It's COVID. You know she going through
- 59:31Speaker 1: it too, you know, right? And then you know you
- 59:36Speaker 1: know your husband don't help you out with your kids.
- 59:38Speaker 1: You're a full time housewife and mother. That's a big job.
- 59:40Speaker 1: That's a huge job. Folk kids, I gotta give it
- 59:43Speaker 1: to you. Then your husband used to come home doing
- 59:46Speaker 1: the day for a quickie. He stopped doing that well
- 59:49Speaker 1: because it didn't folk kids. That's why he quick coming
- 59:52Speaker 1: home for them quickies. Because we got folk and he
- 59:56Speaker 1: don't won't five, So that stops the quicks. That's why
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: he don't come home no more. He don't want number five. Now,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: this letter gonna take a turn when we come back,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: and I'll have to get into it. Because the three
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: ye old that started coming to get in the bed.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: And now y'all ain't had sex in over a year,
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: and that don't mean you don't want to it. We're
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: gonna get into that wop. All right, all right, hang on.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Part two of Steve's response to the Strawberry letter, coming
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: up at twenty three minutes after the hour. The subject
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: is I need to get away for a while. Okay,
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: we'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve, let's
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject is I need to
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: get away for a while. Well, the recap is easy
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: because we ain't really said nothing. Forty three year old
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: woman with four kids, married to a husband that don't
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: help with the kids. She's frustrated, she's overworked, underappreciated. That's
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: the story of a lot of women. Being a full
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: time housewife and mother is a huge job. Understand, your
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: sister can't take nothing front You or your husband don't
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: help out. Ye and your man because he used to
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: come home for quickie, but he quit doing that. He
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: quit doing that. Well, like I said, you got four kids,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: he don't want number five, ain't don't need to come
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: into the house for quickies, no bo. Then the three
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: year old has started coming sleeping in the bed with y'all.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: Y'all don't stop us. Or now you ain't even had
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: to try to have sex in a year. Then you
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: say that doesn't mean that I don't need to or
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: want to. I just don't want to do it with
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: my husband or in the US at all. Wait a minute,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: did that come from everybody heard that line in the letter?
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: I don't want to do it with my husband or
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: in the US at all? What is wrong with United States? Six?
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: I don't have a problem with her. I am telling
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: you right now. I'm a global world traveler, but United
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: States sex is where I've had the absolute most of them.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: Shout Alabama, Flow, Michian, Ohio, Westward, Hia, all them down, Kentucky, Texas, Yeah,
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: Oklahoma and yeah, California, Yes, Vegas, everyone New Mexico here
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: in Colorado, asked the rockets. I've been everyone, and I
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: don't like. I don't like high to two six that
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: I don't like. How to pull yourself together? You need
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: the oxygen. I get on the tank. After that, I
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: tried that how to do I had stop? I get
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: back right here anyway, So that's I don't done. Ain't
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: what this letters about. All my girlfriends are going through
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: some similar experiences, and one of them researched a vacation
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: spot with men there to cater to women twenty four
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: seven and older ladies. She knows went there for New
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: Year's and she had so much good sex. She good
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: to twenty twenty three. Now let me ask you something
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: first of all, and older ladies. She knows you already
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: forty three, So you know an older lady that went
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: there and had so much sex she good for twenty
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: twenty three. So now you and your girls and got together.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: And this is what y'all want to do, Okay. I
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: just want the experience of being with someone else. Oh so, well,
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: you are telling the truth. You just want to see
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: what it is to be with somebody else. Some variety
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: is what you want right now, and you don't want
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: it in the US. Where is this resorting? Thank you?
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: We all need to know. I'm trying to well, I
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: don't want to know. I just want to know where
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: they then found me, and that what country are you
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: going to? Because I'm tell you right now, if it
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: ain't in the right country, you're gonna be disappointed. Hour
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: from Mexico is not known for that. The resort I've
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: been a lock can't come hard rock moon Babe. I'm
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: in the all and they're not done for that losting times.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: And I ain't seen nobody walking through that look like
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: they've feel to be ringing veils and knocking boots and
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: putting your eyes in the back of your head. I
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: ain't seen it, just size wise. I ain't no go
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: to Jamaica. Go to Jamaica. Some stuff could happen. They're
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: over there handling it. If you're going to Jamaica, it's
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: something like that has possibility. I can tell you right now.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: Don't go to France. It ain't what you think. Shut
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: the said, Oh are you gonna who that last? You
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: ain't gonna know what hell they're saying. It's gonna be
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: like disappointment over there. But I don't recommend German they either,
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: because it's rough, don't feel cross docks. I don't nobody
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: want to give holiday. That's evil sex in Germany. So
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: I don't recommend you're going to Germany. Africa not Africa.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: You can go to Africa's gonna be a whole lot
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: like us, because that ain't nobody but us. That's Detroit
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: is over there, Chicago, that Cleveland is over there, and
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: they all look like us. That it's gonna be some
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: gonna be some good loving over there. But it's gonna
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: be a little it's gonna be a little bit different though.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: So I'm trying to figure out the country. The only
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: country I can recommend you go to is jamaker Um,
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: you know, because they down there and the boys down
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: there bringing it, and they bring it a whole lot
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: of over there look like dress over there's a lot
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: of indresses going over there, sould. That's I. I ain't
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: really got no news for you, except let me just
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: help you with this last part. How did I get
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: my husband to agree with me leaving the children? First
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: of all, you cannot tell him where you're going. That
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: you cannot do that. And then next you have got
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: to lie. Ye See, I have told y'all about the truth.
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: Truth is overrated. You have got to lie. You cannot
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: even remotely suggest that this is where you're going. So
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: I would just tell him that you and your girlfriends
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: are going to a fat pharm. That's what you need
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: to say. You're going go to a fat pharm and
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: just go over there and get worked out till you
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: lose weight, and then you come back and he'll believe.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: That's all I got for your ship. And when I all,
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: you want me to come back, I tell you other
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: countries to avoid, but please don't go to Germany. Coming up, Nesting.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: You're listening show, all right, it is time for Junior
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: and sports talk. Let's go, Junior. What you got? Come on,
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: Pimp and let's get it man. Divisional playoff rout? Oh
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: henn r? Yeah, this ought to be shot. Ain't a
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: lot of games today, so you know what I'm gonna
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: be able to do today, Junior, I'm gonna be able
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: to elaborate. You know what I'm saying, Like Pimp's elaborates now,
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: I ain't know you Go ahead, Pimp, don't really talk
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: that much through the spot. I just make picture and
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: watch me, watch me star in your segment verse the
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: Titans at Derek Henry is back. Oh man? You know what?
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: Now that's finn to be a game man, because you
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: know the Bengals is shocking them. You know what I'm
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: saying now, Derek Henry is back, but he ain't you
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: know him full speed yet because he beyond he might
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: not be game ready. Yeah, why you gotta be ready
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: to run over somebody? Ass. This is what I think
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: it's gonna happen. I'm concerned that the Titans, this white
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: boy Joe Burrows is not playing man going right here?
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: Oh he ain't skinned, He's just doing what he wanna do. Man.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: The shocker, the shocker, oh shocks is the Bengals is
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: gonna beat the Titans. Who yeah, man, Ben, you know
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: why I'm picking them because Joe Burrows is better than
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: day quarterback? What that quarterback? Man Tannehill? Yeah, Tannehill, Ryan Tannehill,
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: Joe Burrow, Ryan Tannehill. Who who you picking? You? White boy?
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: Lu Man forty ninetas verse. The Packers see now everybody
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: picking the package because it's a Rogers. See. Now, you've
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: got to look at these quarterbacks now because when you
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: get down like this, who touched the ball every play? Quarterback?
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: So now you gotta look at Jimmy Garoppolo or you
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: gotta look at and Roger. I mean, I got to
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: go with a Rogers man, even though I hope San
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: Francisco shock him. Yeah, that damn Packers ain't gonna be
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: playing Man Bill's Chiefs Packers Baby Man game of games
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: right here, it's a toss up baby where they're playing
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: that junior in Kansas City. Buffalo had to go with
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: Kansas City. Then last one Man Ram versus Buccaneers, Brady
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: against who got Brady against who go dog for the week.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: It's possible that somebody could thank you, Tam, all right,
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: thank you possibility. You know, I'm sorry about that time.
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: I don't even know why I did and me and
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: you you do apologize him. I'm signed that was too
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: late already, Steve. You know I don't really know you're
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: listening to Steve Morning Show. All right, guys, let's do

- 1:10:45Speaker 1: fall off whole pole. Yeah, I'm gonna get up on
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: this pole because Logan Paul with both y'all ass okay,
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: with that white boy, and I can't even think I'm

- 1:12:06Speaker 1: Would you rather have sex on a raft out at sea?
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: Or would you rather have sex on a ski lift?

- 1:15:06Speaker 1: At twenty minutes after this, you're listening to the Steve
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Louisiana Senate Canada Gary Chambers announced he's
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: running for senate. He made the announcement while he was
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: just casually smoking a blunt, just casually doing in his
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: first campaign. At thirty seven seconds, he posted a video
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: in hopes of legalizing marijuana and destigmatizing the use of marijuana.
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: In the video, Gary Chamber sits in a leather chair.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: He's in a field smoking a large blunt. While speaking,
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: he noted that every thirty seven seconds, someone is arrested
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: for possession of marijuana. Since two thousand and ten, state
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: and local police have arrested and estimated, get this number,
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: seven point three million Americans for violating marijuana laws. And
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: black people are four times more likely to be arrested
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: for marijuana laws than white people. So that was his announcement.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: While he was trying to make a point, you thought,
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: sitting up there, your black ass smoker. The blunt was
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: to wait to prove the point on tape tape. You
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: cannot do what what what lighter worked though he does
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: a lot of good things, Steve, I don't know about.
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: This was a dumb ass ideal. Okay, you don't think
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: you're gonna make the sentence. You're gonna get a lot
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: of high votes though you're gonna get a lot of
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: high votes. Yeah, you might be. He might be doing
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: some great stuff. I don't really know. The brother this
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: was a dumb ass ideal. All right, there you have it.
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: up with thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll play

- 1:18:41Speaker 1: other people say on my phone. I didn't say it,
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: they did. No, No, you can listen to the last
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: three hundred voicemails because I ain't got one. So go ahead.

- 1:19:10Speaker 1: damn time. I've never checked my voice. Man, I'm putting
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: my call on skis we slide. What are your messages about?
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: I know, man, what is on your phone? That ain't
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: gonnahing to do with y'all. I don't talk to y'all. Body,
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: I'm not talking y'all about this either. Let's keep it moving.

- 1:19:39Speaker 1: draw the live all right? Would you rather a twelve
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: seater jet? Twelve seater jet or three vacation homes? Anywhere?
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: You choose a twelve seater jet or a three vacation
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: homes anywhere in the world you choose be a twelve
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: seater jet or three vacation homes anywhere? Anywhere you got home?
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: You got that in there, So there you have take
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: a jet goals? All right? Coming up, our last break
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: and forty nine minutes after the hours of closing remarks
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: from the one and only Steve Harvey. Right after this,
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Morning Show. All right, here
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: we are our last break of the day and of
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: the week on this Friday. It's been a good day.
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: We've had fun, today, been a good week. Yeah, let
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: me tell you this because I know you don't know
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: you're going to be on the Talk today. Watch didn't
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: know he is, Yes, so we'll be watching, Yes we will. Okay,
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: all right, thank you? Yeah, yeah, he go your schedule.
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: You don't know where you be at. Hey, you know,
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: I want to talk about something closing remarks. I want
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: to talk about helping our young people. We were having
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: an off air discussion the morning show team, and we
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: were talking about because we've been hearing the news about
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: these top recruits going to Jackson State to play for
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: coach Prime and all of this, and Eddie Georgia signing
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: up his contractor coaching HBCU team Uh Tennessee, Uh down
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: to Tennessee and uh. You know, it just prompted us
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: to start talking about what was needed. A lot of
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: times these athletes has have not been recruited or been
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: able to get recruited to these HBCUs because of the facilities,
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: and a lot large part of that is because we
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: have to make the educational system for our young people
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: more of a priority. And I'm talking to myself too,
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: but all of us. But it's not a problem that
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: I can fix alone because I don't have that kind
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: of money. But we as a people, we do have
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: that kind of money. And I think we're starting to
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: happen that Jackson State could happen at a lot of
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: HB suits cus around the country if more people cared
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: about it. And I'm not just talking about the alumni
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: of these universities, because you can't dump it all on
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: them either, because there's just not enough. It's just not enough.
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: But a lot of these schools man offer really really
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: quality educations. They're just lacking in facilities. And when I
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: say facilities, I'm not talking about just for the student athlete.
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: I'm talking about for the students period, to just get
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: that quality education period. College for these young people who
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: choose to go college is not necessary for everybody. College
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: is not for everybody. I'm a living witness to that.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: That experience for me was strictly to teach me a system.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: I needed to learn the system because I came from
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: the hood. I knew the law of the hood, but
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: I didn't know the law of the land. Oh can't.
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: State equipped me very well with understanding how to deal
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: with the system and the people that were in charge
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: of the system. So that was my college education. So
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: college isn't for everybody, but it's for a lot people,
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: and it would be for a lot more if we
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: made it more attractive. And I'm proposing that we find
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: a way that we start a movement to help these
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: HBCUs and directly affect it in a positive way. If
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: we would start with giving these young people better housing
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: at these HBCUs, that would be attractive. You know what, Steven,
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: We got to pay these teachers first, No you don't.
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: You got students there first. If you get the students there,
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: you have the money to pay the teachers. Now, our
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: teachers underpaid. That's grossly and understatement around the world. They're underpaid.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: But we've got to find a way to make this
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: more attractive to these students. And where you live is
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: very important. You spend the majority of your time in
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: that dormitory, you really do. It's a lifestyle that we
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: got to make attractive to these students as well as
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: the education. And that's why these other universities have the
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: advantage because they have facilities, they have opportunities. They got
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: ice skating rinks on campus, they got restaurants on campus, Starbucks,
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: Chick fil As, they got all this stuff. They got
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: lifestyle stuff, they got arcades, they got gym facility, these
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: they got extracurriculum activity. We've got to create this for
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: our young people at these HBCUs and we've got to
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: form a way to generate the money because it's enough
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: of us black people to make it happen. If listen, man,
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: if we are if every black person gave ten dollars
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: ten dollars, that's approximately thirty five million dollars. That ain't enough.
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: But there are blacks that could give more. I, for one,
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: could give more than ten. I could give a bunch
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: of people's ten if I thought I could direct it
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: in the right way. And that's what I'm gonna start
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: trying to figure out. And if you have ideas, we
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: need to put our heads together and figure out a
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: way to increase the housing, better housing, and better facilities
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: for these people to go to even want to go
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: to HBCU. If you get more students to go, you
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: have more money coming in than these presidents of these
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: universities can pay more professors. It's all about money, man,
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: don't get it twisted. And money comes from enrollment. It's
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: always money. So y'all, let's start thinking about that. You know,
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: you donate money to this cause and that cause. We
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: gotta find a way to better educate our young people
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: and make education more of a priority and more rewarding
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: for our young people. At these HBCUs, I was in
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: a from in a program with Robert Smith. Well, we
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: bought five five G networking capabilities to HBCUs this year.
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: But we gotta do something about this housing facilities. So
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: if you have any ideas, I'm open to it in
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: a way we can do them, or funding that can
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: really and even if we do one school at a time,
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: we can start somewhere, but we need to start. Those
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: are my closing remarks today, y'all, have a great day.
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: Talk to God this weekend, y'all. He'd love to hear
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: from you. In the meantime, We'll see y'all Monday morning.
