- 0:04Speaker 2: It's so nice to have you with us across the country.
- 0:07Speaker 2: And Senator let's just start with obviously the most important story,
- 0:12Speaker 2: and that has been coming out of Texas. You have
- 0:15Speaker 2: spent a lot of time in Kerr County and Kerrville.
- 0:19Speaker 2: You're also coming back with President Trump from Marshington, d C.
- 0:22Speaker 2: To tour the devastation with him as well. And our
- 0:26Speaker 2: thoughts are and prayers are still with so many people
- 0:28Speaker 2: affected by this incredible, horrific flooding.
- 0:31Speaker 3: Well, we are one week out from these catastrophic floods
- 0:34Speaker 3: and the damage in Texas. There are not words that
- 0:38Speaker 3: can describe it. I can tell you I've spent this
- 0:40Speaker 3: entire week dealing with the devastation, dealing with the little
- 0:44Speaker 3: girls who were lost to Camp Mystic, talking with parents
- 0:48Speaker 3: who lost their daughters, talking with families who are grieving,
- 0:51Speaker 3: talking with first responders. As you noted on Friday, I'm
- 0:54Speaker 3: going to be flying on Air Force One with President
- 0:56Speaker 3: Trump down to Texas to see firsthand the flooding damage,
- 1:03Speaker 3: to visit with first responders on the ground.
- 1:06Speaker 1: We're going to break that down.
- 1:07Speaker 3: We're going to tell you what is happening, What is
- 1:08Speaker 3: the latest on the Texas floods. I will tell you
- 1:12Speaker 3: it remains seeing firsthand what happened at Can't Mystic remains
- 1:17Speaker 3: the most horrible thing I've ever seen. We're going to
- 1:18Speaker 3: talk about that. We're also going to talk about President
- 1:21Speaker 3: Biden's doctor testified on Capitol Hill and did something really remarkable.
- 1:26Speaker 3: You would think about President's doctor. That'll be straightforward, that'll
- 1:30Speaker 3: be easy. Well, no, the doctor pled the fifth refuse
- 1:33Speaker 3: to answer questions. He said, if I give an answer,
- 1:36Speaker 3: that will incriminate me in criminal conduct. We're going to
- 1:38Speaker 3: break that down for you. We're also going to talk
- 1:41Speaker 3: about the rising wave of terrorism directed at ICE, left
- 1:46Speaker 3: wing radicals who are firing weapons trying to kill ICE agents.
- 1:52Speaker 3: It is a phenomenon that is fueled by the radical
- 1:55Speaker 3: rhetoric from the Democrats, from the media. We're going to
- 1:58Speaker 3: do a deep dive on that. And finally, the FBI
- 2:01Speaker 3: announced an investigation into John Brennan, the former head of
- 2:06Speaker 3: the CIA. We're going to talk about why the FBI
- 2:09Speaker 3: is investigating him and what that means. All of that
- 2:12Speaker 3: in today's podcast.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely, I want to tell you real quick about
- 2:16Speaker 2: an amazing company that is having a real impact in
- 2:19Speaker 2: this country when you are a customer with them.
- 2:22Speaker 1: It is called Patriot Mobile.

- 4:05Speaker 2: you're gonna have a free month of service. Patriot Mobile
- 4:08Speaker 2: dot com slash verdict are nine seven to Patriot. All right, Senator,
- 4:12Speaker 2: so let's go back to the earlier This week, you
- 4:16Speaker 2: were at Campmistic and you're gonna be heading back there
- 4:21Speaker 2: in just a few hours with the President of the
- 4:24Speaker 2: United States of America. And I got to say it
- 4:27Speaker 2: is so tragic. I know family members tomorrow they're gonna
- 4:30Speaker 2: be going to funerals in Houston of some of the
- 4:34Speaker 2: girls that lost their lives that can't mystic And we
- 4:37Speaker 2: were sitting tonight and talking about just how hard this
- 4:41Speaker 2: is for families. But there has been an unbelievable amount
- 4:44Speaker 2: of outpouring of supporting love from around the country helping
- 4:47Speaker 2: those in Texas, and that is one of the miracles
- 4:50Speaker 2: that has come out of this.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Well, we're one week out now from these catastrophic floods.
- 4:56Speaker 3: It was a week ago on July fourth, in the
- 4:58Speaker 3: early hours of the morning, that the floodwaters rose and
- 5:03Speaker 3: the Guadalupe River, who is ordinarily a calm, peaceful, beautiful river,
- 5:07Speaker 3: a river that people loved to vacation on, the canoe
- 5:10Speaker 3: to swim. One point eight trillion gallons of rainwater fell
- 5:15Speaker 3: on that river, and in less than an hour the
- 5:18Speaker 3: river rose thirty feet and it carried out utter devastation.
- 5:23Speaker 3: As we are sitting here one week into it, one
- 5:26Speaker 3: hundred and nineteen people are confirmed dead, and there are
- 5:30Speaker 3: roughly two hundred people that are missing that they're still
- 5:34Speaker 3: searching for. And one of the challenges if you look
- 5:37Speaker 3: at Kirk County in central Texas, it is a vacation spot.
- 5:41Speaker 3: It is, I think, and this is widely agreed, the
- 5:44Speaker 3: most beautiful part of Texas the hill Country. There's the
- 5:47Speaker 3: reason it's called the hill country. It's beautiful rolling hills,
- 5:50Speaker 3: it's canyons, it is beautiful, gorgeous rivers, and so people
- 5:55Speaker 3: come there. And on the fourth of July weekend you
- 5:57Speaker 3: had thousands of thousands of people who came from all
- 6:00Speaker 3: over Texas to vacation. They were in RV's, they were
- 6:04Speaker 3: in vacation homes right along the river. One of the
- 6:08Speaker 3: challenges is the local authorities don't know everyone that was there.
- 6:11Speaker 3: Many of them were from out of town. They were
- 6:13Speaker 3: from across Texas, across the country. The RV camps. We
- 6:17Speaker 3: saw RV after RV swept into the water, the vacation cabins.
- 6:23Speaker 3: Many of the cabins are right on the river. The
- 6:26Speaker 3: thirty foot wall of water ripped cabins off of their
- 6:30Speaker 3: foundations and took them into the water. And so we
- 6:34Speaker 3: don't know everyone who is missing. But and the story
- 6:39Speaker 3: that has captured the heart of really the country and
- 6:42Speaker 3: the world is Camp Mystic. Camp Mystic is a Texas institution.
- 6:48Speaker 3: It is one hundred years old. It was founded in
- 6:51Speaker 3: nineteen twenty six, and for a century, Texas girls have
- 6:56Speaker 3: gone to Camp Mystic and they make the best friends
- 6:59Speaker 3: of the lifetimes when you go to a closing ceremony
- 7:03Speaker 3: at Camp Mystic. In the other summer camps that are
- 7:05Speaker 3: in the Hill Country, the closing ceremonies are typically one
- 7:09Speaker 3: to two days, and you see literally you see grandmothers
- 7:13Speaker 3: and moms and little girls, three generations of women and
- 7:18Speaker 3: girls who have been to these camps. And it is
- 7:20Speaker 3: a beautiful, wonderful tradition. And right now the extent of
- 7:25Speaker 3: the agony, I really cannot overstate it. Every city in Houston,
- 7:30Speaker 3: in Dallas, in Fort Worth, in Austin, in San Antonio,
- 7:36Speaker 3: all across the state, in West Texas, in the Rio
- 7:39Speaker 3: Grande Valley, in East Texas, Texans, their little girls go there.
- 7:44Speaker 3: As you know, my daughters have gone to camp in
- 7:47Speaker 3: the Hill Country for a decade. My wife Heidi picked
- 7:50Speaker 3: up Catherine a week before these floods from her summer camp,
- 7:56Speaker 3: just a couple of miles away from Camp Mystic. And
- 7:59Speaker 3: so they look. If you go to my home in Houston,
- 8:03Speaker 3: on in my front yard, the tree, we have a
- 8:05Speaker 3: green ribbon around the tree mourning the girls lost and Mystic.
- 8:09Speaker 3: Just about every single home on my street has a
- 8:12Speaker 3: green ribbon around the trees mourning the girls lost in
- 8:15Speaker 3: can't Mystic. Texas is suffering, but we will come through this,
- 8:19Speaker 3: and we'll come through this because we're coming together, and
- 8:21Speaker 3: it is inspirational to see Texans coming together, and we
- 8:25Speaker 3: will overcome this.
- 8:27Speaker 2: This is one of those stories that I'm so glad
- 8:29Speaker 2: we get to shine light on it. Joe Biden's former
- 8:33Speaker 2: doctor when he was the president refuse senator to answer
- 8:37Speaker 2: questions and the House Oversight probe and to basically like
- 8:41Speaker 2: who is running the country? Who was in charge the
- 8:43Speaker 2: auto pen Joe Biden may not have known what he
- 8:46Speaker 2: was even doing.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Well, this was really astonishing this week. You know, ordinarily,
- 8:51Speaker 3: if the president's doctor is testifying, the president's doctor is
- 8:55Speaker 3: speaking at a press conference, it's kind of a nothing burger.
- 8:58Speaker 3: The president's doctor lays out, here's what happened when we
- 9:01Speaker 3: engaged in investigation. And by the way, there's no notion
- 9:04Speaker 3: that presidents have a right to privacy to have if
- 9:07Speaker 3: the president has cancer, if the president has dementia, the
- 9:11Speaker 3: president's doctor is supposed to tell the American people the
- 9:13Speaker 3: American people have a right to know if there's a
- 9:15Speaker 3: serious health condition affecting the president. Well, instead of answering
- 9:21Speaker 3: reasonable questions, the president's doctor, doctor Kevin O'Connor, sat in
- 9:25Speaker 3: front of the House of Representatives and he pleaded the fifth.
- 9:27Speaker 3: He said, I'm not answering anything. I'm not going to
- 9:30Speaker 3: answer if I lied to the American people, I'm not
- 9:33Speaker 3: going to answer if I lied to Congress. I'm not
- 9:35Speaker 3: going to answer anything. Now, typically when people plead the fifth,
- 9:39Speaker 3: they're doing it to avoid incriminating themselves in criminal conduct.
- 9:44Speaker 3: That is an astonishing thing. It would be one thing
- 9:48Speaker 3: if he said, I'm not going to give the precise
- 9:50Speaker 3: diagnosis that I gave to Joe Biden about particular health
- 9:54Speaker 3: maladies he had. That's that is That's not an unreasonable
- 9:58Speaker 3: thing to say. I don't think you should say that,
- 10:00Speaker 3: because I actually think the president's doctor has an obligation
- 10:02Speaker 3: to the American people to be candid. But if he
- 10:05Speaker 3: wanted to say that, that would be one thing he's
- 10:07Speaker 3: saying he refused to answer. Were you asked to lie
- 10:13Speaker 3: to the American people? I want you to listen to
- 10:15Speaker 3: some of the cross examination because his answers are astonishing.
- 10:19Speaker 3: And you mentioned the question who was running the country?
- 10:22Speaker 3: I have heard literally over the last four years hundreds
- 10:26Speaker 3: of times people have asked me who was running the country.
- 10:29Speaker 3: And I got to tell you. If the president's doctor
- 10:32Speaker 3: has to plead the Fifth to avoid saying were you
- 10:36Speaker 3: lying to the American people? That really raises incredible questions
- 10:40Speaker 3: about the degree of duplicity, the degree of lying to
- 10:44Speaker 3: the American people that occurred for the last four years.
- 10:46Speaker 3: Here give a listen to this exchange with Joe Biden's doctor.
- 10:50Speaker 4: Doctor O'Connor, were you ever told to lie about the
- 10:54Speaker 4: president's health?
- 10:56Speaker 5: Of the advice the.
- 10:57Speaker 6: Council, I must expectfully declined to answer the physician based
- 11:01Speaker 6: privilege and in reliance somebody right under the fifth mand
- 11:03Speaker 6: of the Constitution. I am not a lawyer who must
- 11:06Speaker 6: follow my lawyer's advice.
- 11:08Speaker 7: In this matter.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Simple eighteen seconds, right, Hey, I can't even answer the
- 11:12Speaker 2: question if I was told to lie about the president's condition.
- 11:15Speaker 1: That is shocking coming from a doctor.
- 11:17Speaker 3: It's shocking and it's lawless. The Fifth Amendment does not
- 11:22Speaker 3: protect There's nothing in the patient doctor privilege that protects
- 11:26Speaker 3: that bars you from answering the question, were you ever
- 11:29Speaker 3: told a lie that has nothing to do with the
- 11:32Speaker 3: president's condition? Were you ever told a lie? By the way,
- 11:37Speaker 3: I think virtually every president's doctor. That would be an
- 11:39Speaker 3: easy question, because a president's doctor. Ronnie Jackson, who is
- 11:43Speaker 3: now a member of Congress from Texas, he was the
- 11:45Speaker 3: president's doctor. He was President Bush's doctor, is President Obama's doctor,
- 11:49Speaker 3: is President Trump's doctor. He is gone on TV and said, hey,
- 11:53Speaker 3: were you ever asked to lie?
- 11:54Speaker 5: No?
- 11:55Speaker 3: I was the president's doctor, So I gave I told
- 11:58Speaker 3: the truth to the American people. The degree to which
- 12:02Speaker 3: that is a confession of deliberate dishonesty, And it's not
- 12:06Speaker 3: just on the part of the doctor. Look, the doctor
- 12:09Speaker 3: was complicit. The obvious reason he's pleading the fifth is
- 12:13Speaker 3: because the answer is yes, he was lying. He was
- 12:15Speaker 3: lying to the American people. But it wasn't just the
- 12:18Speaker 3: doctor that knew that. It was the White House staff,
- 12:21Speaker 3: It was the chief of staff, it was the senior staff,
- 12:23Speaker 3: it was Joe Biden, it was everyone around Joe Biden.
- 12:27Speaker 3: His mental diminishment was massive. And so when the doctor
- 12:31Speaker 3: was trundled out to the American people to say he's
- 12:34Speaker 3: sharp as attack. He was lying, and everyone knew he
- 12:38Speaker 3: was lying, and yet he's right now refusing to admit this.
- 12:41Speaker 3: I want you to listen to this other exchange from
- 12:43Speaker 3: the hearing this week.
- 12:44Speaker 4: Doctor O'Connor. Before we begin, I would like to go
- 12:47Speaker 4: over the ground rules for this deposition. The Committee will
- 12:50Speaker 4: conduct today's deposition in accordance with the House of Representatives
- 12:53Speaker 4: regulations for the use of deposition authority, which were furnished
- 12:56Speaker 4: to your council. This regulation is incorporated into the Rules
- 12:59Speaker 4: of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform at Rule fifteen,
- 13:03Speaker 4: which was also furnished here a council. The questioning will
- 13:06Speaker 4: proceed in rounds. The majority will ask questions for an hour,
- 13:09Speaker 4: and then the minority will have an opportunity to ask
- 13:11Speaker 4: questions for an hour if they choose. There will be
- 13:14Speaker 4: one staff council perside asking the questions during each round.
- 13:18Speaker 4: To the extent members have questions for the witness, they
- 13:20Speaker 4: will be propounded during their size respective rounds.
- 13:23Speaker 7: Do you understand the advice of Castle, I must respectfully
- 13:27Speaker 7: decline to answer based on the physician patient privilege and
- 13:30Speaker 7: reliance on my rank under the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution.
- 13:34Speaker 7: I am not a lawyer, and I must follow my
- 13:36Speaker 7: lawyer's advice in this matter.
- 13:39Speaker 8: So, gentlemen, we intend to assert both privileges with regard
- 13:43Speaker 8: to any questions that would be asked at this deposition.
- 13:48Speaker 8: And doctor O'Connor will not answer any questions.
- 13:51Speaker 6: Can we go off your record?
- 13:52Speaker 7: For one tire?
- 13:54Speaker 1: I mean, you hear that and then they go off
- 13:55Speaker 1: the record.
- 13:56Speaker 2: This is just a doctor that clearly can't answer a
- 13:59Speaker 2: single question, I guess truthfully because it puts them in
- 14:02Speaker 2: such a bad light as a doctor. Why wouldn't you
- 14:04Speaker 2: want to clear your own name as a doctor saying no,
- 14:06Speaker 2: I didn't lie and make up things. I didn't lie
- 14:09Speaker 2: the American people. I didn't lie on behalf of the
- 14:11Speaker 2: President of United States of America. Wouldn't you want to
- 14:13Speaker 2: clear your good name if you're a doctor?
- 14:15Speaker 3: Of course, the reason he didn't say that is because
- 14:18Speaker 3: he's a liar. That the only reason you plead the
- 14:21Speaker 3: fifth when you're asked, were you asked to lie to
- 14:25Speaker 3: the American people? That should not be a complicated question.
- 14:29Speaker 3: Any doctor, by the way, any public official, ought to
- 14:32Speaker 3: be able to answer that no, that I am not
- 14:36Speaker 3: lying to the American people. I did not lie to
- 14:38Speaker 3: the American people. The fact that he's refusing to answer
- 14:41Speaker 3: any question. And by the way, I think the House
- 14:43Speaker 3: of Representatives is going to seriously consider granting this doctor immunity.
- 14:48Speaker 3: Now why is that important? Because if they grant the
- 14:50Speaker 3: doctor immunity, it means they can force them to testify.
- 14:54Speaker 3: You don't have a right to a Fifth Amendment privilege.
- 14:56Speaker 3: If you have immunity. That Fifth Amendment privilege only protects
- 14:59Speaker 3: you from testifying if you face the jeopardy of criminal prosecution.
- 15:03Speaker 1: It's a that immunity though, like, does you have to
- 15:06Speaker 1: agree to that? He does not. They can grant immunity.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Now you got to talk.
- 15:11Speaker 3: They can grant him immunity. They can drag him in
- 15:13Speaker 3: front and if he refuses to testify, they can hold
- 15:16Speaker 3: him in contempt and put him in jail. Wow, you
- 15:20Speaker 3: don't once you are no longer facing criminal prosecution. The
- 15:23Speaker 3: Fifth Amendment does not give you the right to refuse
- 15:25Speaker 3: to answer questions. I think there's a very real possibility
- 15:28Speaker 3: that's what the House is going to do.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Senator, I want to move to another big story, and
- 15:32Speaker 2: that is the rising threat that has just become oh
- 15:36Speaker 2: so real. Uh, with federal law enforcement, and there was
- 15:40Speaker 2: a shooter that ambushed Texas Border Patrol agents. Words from
- 15:46Speaker 2: elected officials, in my opinion, have major influence, but also consequence.
- 15:53Speaker 2: We have seen time and time again right now Democrats
- 15:57Speaker 2: coming out and saying that I certain evil stand up
- 16:01Speaker 2: to IE fight Ice. These are words coming from so
- 16:05Speaker 2: many Democrats that are actually elected to office.
- 16:08Speaker 3: Well, listen, as you noted, words have consequence, and we
- 16:11Speaker 3: have seen an awful lot of democrats. We have seen
- 16:13Speaker 3: the corporate media denounce ICE, called them Nazis, call them
- 16:18Speaker 3: them goose stepping fascists. And unfortunately, that rhetoric fuels a rage.
- 16:23Speaker 3: It fuels a rage that we have seen manifesting in
- 16:27Speaker 3: violence over and over again, leftists engaging in active violence
- 16:32Speaker 3: against ICE agents. So, just a few days ago, an
- 16:38Speaker 3: active shooter opened fire on ICE agents in McCallen, Texas.
- 16:43Speaker 3: And here here's the story from Fox News. Active shooter
- 16:47Speaker 3: killed an attempt to ambush Border Patrol agents in Texas.
- 16:51Speaker 3: One McCallan police officer wounded but in stable condition following
- 16:54Speaker 3: a parent planned ambush at Rio Grande Valley facility. And
- 16:58Speaker 3: here's what the article says. An active shooter armed with
- 17:01Speaker 3: tactical gear and a rifle opened fire upon Border Patrol
- 17:04Speaker 3: agents is they arrived at a Border Patrol annex facility
- 17:07Speaker 3: in McAllen, Texas in the Rio Grande Valley on Monday.
- 17:10Speaker 3: Law enforcement sources say agents and local police returned fire
- 17:15Speaker 3: and killed the gunman. No federal agents were hit, but
- 17:19Speaker 3: one McCallen police officer was struck. Law enforcement sources say
- 17:24Speaker 3: the officer is in stable condition.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Quote.
- 17:27Speaker 3: This morning, an individual open fire at the entrance of
- 17:29Speaker 3: the United States Border Patrol Sector Annex in McCallen, Texas.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Both Border patrol agents and local police helped neutralize the
- 17:36Speaker 3: shooter to the Department of Homeland Security said to statement
- 17:39Speaker 3: of Fox News. This is an ongoing investigation led by
- 17:42Speaker 3: the FBI. More information will be shared as it becomes available.
- 17:46Speaker 3: Now I'll tell you I have walked into and out
- 17:49Speaker 3: of that Border patrol facility in McAllen, Texas multiple times.
- 17:54Speaker 3: The fact that you have violent criminals, and this is
- 17:57Speaker 3: a criminal who lost his life because he showed up
- 18:00Speaker 3: and wanted to shoot at law enforcement officials. He was
- 18:04Speaker 3: doing so. We don't know this conclusively, but we can
- 18:07Speaker 3: certainly infer that he was doing so because he's been
- 18:10Speaker 3: listening to the extreme rhetoric that these are Nazis, and
- 18:13Speaker 3: so he was like, you know what, if you've got Nazis,
- 18:16Speaker 3: let's kill the Nazis. That is the consequence of the
- 18:21Speaker 3: unhinged and deranged rhetoric on the left.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Right now, you talk about that rhetoric, let's give actual quotes.
- 18:27Speaker 2: House Minority Leader Kim Jeffries of New York said employed
- 18:30Speaker 2: people to quote fight the Trump administration in the streets
- 18:34Speaker 2: quote unquote. He also declared ICE agents quote will be
- 18:38Speaker 2: unsuccessful and protecting their identities no matter what it takes,
- 18:43Speaker 2: advocating for docsing and putting their families at risk.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Ice agents.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Representative Jay Paul of Washington called ICE agents quote unquote
- 18:51Speaker 2: deranged and said it is quote inspiring to obstruct immigration enforcement.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Representative mc iver of New Jersey, who was arrested in
- 19:01Speaker 2: charged with forcibly impeding and interfering with federal officers outside
- 19:05Speaker 2: Night's attention facility, incited her supporters to quote shut down
- 19:10Speaker 2: the city because we are at war quote unquote, and
- 19:14Speaker 2: even the former vice presidential candidate of the Minnesota Governor
- 19:17Speaker 2: Tim Waltz, getting in on the action, called Ice agents
- 19:20Speaker 2: the modern day gestapo. Chicago's mayor this past week, Johnson
- 19:25Speaker 2: accused the ICE agents of being quote unquote the secret
- 19:29Speaker 2: police and quote terrorizing our communities. And you add in
- 19:33Speaker 2: Eric Swawell of California, he said it was quote his
- 19:37Speaker 2: priority to ensure ICE agents quote are no longer faceless,
- 19:42Speaker 2: comparing them to some eighteen hundreds bank robbers or some
- 19:47Speaker 2: KGB officers in Russia. Words have consequences, and this is
- 19:53Speaker 2: the rhetoric coming from some of your colleagues in DC.
- 19:57Speaker 3: Well, and not only do they have consequences with the
- 19:59Speaker 3: arm shooter who was killed in McCallan, Texas, but in
- 20:02Speaker 3: North Texas, eleven people were arrested for plotting to ambush
- 20:08Speaker 3: to kill ICE correction officers. And I want to read
- 20:12Speaker 3: from this story from the Daily Wire. Quote Eleven people
- 20:15Speaker 3: have been arrested in what law enforcement officers described as
- 20:18Speaker 3: a quote planned ambush of corrections officers at an ICE
- 20:23Speaker 3: detention facility in Alvarado, Texas on July fourth. One Alvarado
- 20:28Speaker 3: police officer was shot in the neck during the attack
- 20:31Speaker 3: and is expected to survive.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Quote.
- 20:33Speaker 3: Early reports indicate that more than a dozen massed individuals
- 20:39Speaker 3: dressed in black arrived at the Prairie Land Ice Detention
- 20:42Speaker 3: facility late Friday night and vandalized vehicles and security cameras
- 20:46Speaker 3: in the parking lots. CBS News reported the individuals launched
- 20:50Speaker 3: fireworks in an apparent effort to lure law enforcement. On
- 20:54Speaker 3: July fifth, Deputy Attorney General Tom Blanche posted on x
- 20:58Speaker 3: quote we are closely monitoring the attacks on DHS facilities
- 21:01Speaker 3: in Prairieland, Texas and Portland, Oregon, and are coordinating with
- 21:05Speaker 3: USAOs and our law enforcement partners. The Department has zero
- 21:10Speaker 3: tolerance for assaults on federal officers or property and will
- 21:15Speaker 3: bring the full weight of the law against those responsible.
- 21:19Speaker 3: On Monday, Acting US Attorney Nancy Larson stated, We're here
- 21:23Speaker 3: to tell you that late at night on July fourth,
- 21:26Speaker 3: Friday night, at approximately ten thirty seven pm, at Prairieland
- 21:29Speaker 3: Ice Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas, ten to twelve individuals
- 21:34Speaker 3: dressed in black military style clothing began shooting fireworks and
- 21:39Speaker 3: engaging in acts of vandalism at the facility that was
- 21:42Speaker 3: part of an organized attack. Today, my office has charged
- 21:46Speaker 3: ten individuals with three counts of attempted murder of a
- 21:50Speaker 3: federal officer. Each of the ten are also charged with
- 21:55Speaker 3: three counts of discharging a firearm in relation to a
- 21:58Speaker 3: crime of violence. Each of these defendants faces a mandatory
- 22:02Speaker 3: prison term of ten years and up to life in prison.
- 22:06Speaker 3: An additional co conspirator was charged with obstruction of justice
- 22:09Speaker 3: and conspiracy for attempting to conceal and destroy evidence in
- 22:13Speaker 3: relation to the attack, and faces up to ten years
- 22:16Speaker 3: in prison. And she continued, quote, let's discuss the incident.
- 22:22Speaker 3: It was a planned ambush with the intent to kill
- 22:27Speaker 3: ICE corrections officers. Make no mistake. This was not a
- 22:32Speaker 3: so called peaceful protest. It was indeed an ambush. This
- 22:38Speaker 3: is the violence we are seeing. And it turns out
- 22:41Speaker 3: when you call law enforcement officers federal law enforcement officers
- 22:45Speaker 3: that are keeping us safe, when you call them Nazis,
- 22:48Speaker 3: when you call them gestapo lunatics on the left hear that,
- 22:52Speaker 3: and sadly, we are saying over and over again, they
- 22:55Speaker 3: are acting and their acting with violence.
- 22:57Speaker 2: You look at even on Tuesday you had Democrat Center
- 23:00Speaker 2: Padilla of California and Corey Booker New Jersey. They introduced
- 23:04Speaker 2: that legislation to require ICE officers to quote display clearly
- 23:08Speaker 2: visible IDs and not wear masks no matter what during
- 23:12Speaker 2: their enforcement operations, accusing quote the trum administration of alarming
- 23:16Speaker 2: immigration enforcement tactics that have terrorized communities across California and
- 23:21Speaker 2: the nation. And we know what the left has done here.
- 23:23Speaker 2: They want to dock these ICE agents. They're family members.
- 23:28Speaker 2: They've been putting their kids even online and posting. People
- 23:32Speaker 2: been posting their home addresses, hoping that basically people go
- 23:36Speaker 2: after the ICE agents who are just doing their jobs.
- 23:38Speaker 2: That's how sick these people are.
- 23:40Speaker 3: Well listen, there's a simple choice. There's a choice for
- 23:43Speaker 3: Americans all across the country. Who do you stand with?
- 23:46Speaker 3: Do you stand with cops? Do you stand with law
- 23:49Speaker 3: enforcement agents? Do you stand with the man and women
- 23:51Speaker 3: who risk their lives to keep us safe? You and
- 23:54Speaker 3: I both stand with them? Or, as the Democrats have chosen,
- 23:58Speaker 3: do you stand with illegal immigrants? Do you stand with murderers?
- 24:01Speaker 3: Do you stand with rapists? Do you stand with child molesters?
- 24:03Speaker 3: Do you stand with Venezuelan gang members who are engaged
- 24:06Speaker 3: in human trafficking? Sadly, the Democrats and inexplicably they've decided
- 24:11Speaker 3: to stand with the criminals and not law enforcement. And
- 24:14Speaker 3: we're seeing the consequences.
- 24:15Speaker 2: SATA, I want to get into this and get your
- 24:17Speaker 2: reaction to the FBI launching an investigation into John Brennan
- 24:23Speaker 2: into James Comey over the Trump Russia probe. I think
- 24:27Speaker 2: we need to go back and just remind people of
- 24:30Speaker 2: what they were peddling that they knew was false. Basically,
- 24:34Speaker 2: in my opinion, it was a coup attempt against the
- 24:37Speaker 2: American people who chose Donald Trump in sixteen to be
- 24:39Speaker 2: their president. They didn't like it, and like, no worries,
- 24:42Speaker 2: you know, we'll do what the least of page Peter
- 24:45Speaker 2: Strucks were doing. Right, We'll fix it. We'll take care
- 24:48Speaker 2: of it after the fact, after he gets sworn in,
- 24:50Speaker 2: and we're gonna go after him and we're gonna undermine him.
- 24:52Speaker 2: We're gonna get Hi impeached, and that'll be all fine.
- 24:55Speaker 3: Well, I got to say, this is an astonishing story.
- 24:58Speaker 3: John Brennan was the head of the James Comy was
- 25:02Speaker 3: the head of the FBI. Both of them are right
- 25:05Speaker 3: now under active criminal investigations. Here's what Fox News has reported.
- 25:10Speaker 3: Quote former CIA director John Brennan and former FBI director
- 25:14Speaker 3: James Comy are under criminal investigation for potential wrongdoing. Related
- 25:18Speaker 3: to the Trump Russia probe, including allegedly making false statements
- 25:23Speaker 3: to Congress. Justice Department sources told Fox News Digital. CIA
- 25:29Speaker 3: director John Ratcliffe referred evidence of wrongdoing by Brennan to
- 25:32Speaker 3: FBI director Cash Ptel for potential prosecution. DOJ sources told
- 25:37Speaker 3: Fox News Digital. The sources said the referral was received,
- 25:40Speaker 3: and told Fox News did Digital that a criminal investigation
- 25:44Speaker 3: into Brennan was opened and is underway. DOJ sources declined
- 25:48Speaker 3: to provide further details. It is unclear at this point
- 25:51Speaker 3: if the investigation spans beyond his alleged false statements to Congress.
- 25:57Speaker 3: As for Comy, DOJ sources told Fox News Digital that
- 26:00Speaker 3: an investigation of the former director is underway, but could
- 26:04Speaker 3: not share details of what specifically is being probed. The
- 26:07Speaker 3: full scope of the criminal investigations is Brennan and Comy
- 26:10Speaker 3: is unclear, but two sources described the FBI's view of
- 26:15Speaker 3: the duo's interactions as a quote conspiracy, which could open
- 26:19Speaker 3: up a wide range of potential prosecutorial options. The FBI
- 26:24Speaker 3: and the CIA declined comment.
- 26:27Speaker 2: I mean this is massive on so many different levels.
- 26:30Speaker 2: And John Brennan, by the way, he went on TV
- 26:34Speaker 2: on MSNBC, And it was pretty funny because it was
- 26:38Speaker 2: like he was just playing dumb and it was like,
- 26:41Speaker 2: I don't even know why they would be investigating me.
- 26:43Speaker 1: I don't know what they would be looking at.
- 26:45Speaker 2: I don't understand how this is even even a thing
- 26:49Speaker 2: in his own words. And in fact, I'm going to
- 26:52Speaker 2: play it because I want you to hear it. I
- 26:53Speaker 2: want to get your reaction. Here's John Brennan MSNBC after
- 26:57Speaker 2: finding out that he's a target of an investigator.
- 27:00Speaker 5: Really, if there is an investigation that people will be questioned.
- 27:03Speaker 5: I would be questioned about it. But again I've had
- 27:05Speaker 5: no contact from them. But again I testified in front
- 27:09Speaker 5: of many many congressional committees in the House and the
- 27:12Speaker 5: Senate over the years, and I continue to explain exactly
- 27:15Speaker 5: what we did during this process, why we tried to
- 27:18Speaker 5: make sure we stay true to our intelligence responsibilities and
- 27:22Speaker 5: that we were not going to do anything at all
- 27:24Speaker 5: to try to interfere in that election. And again, it
- 27:27Speaker 5: was a challenging time, but also one I think that
- 27:30Speaker 5: the people who actually worked this, both in terms of
- 27:34Speaker 5: trying to collect intelligence prior to the election and then
- 27:36Speaker 5: the ones who put together the intelli assessment. They really,
- 27:39Speaker 5: I think showed the best of what the intelligence community
- 27:42Speaker 5: and what CIA is made of.
- 27:43Speaker 3: So again I am.
- 27:45Speaker 5: Clueless about what it is exactly that they may be
- 27:49Speaker 5: investigating before.
- 27:50Speaker 2: That may be the fastest center I've ever heard John
- 27:53Speaker 2: Brennan speak on TV ever, and I've watched them a
- 27:56Speaker 2: lot over the years.
- 27:57Speaker 1: That seemed like a very nervous man to me.
- 27:59Speaker 3: Well, let me give a little more background on who
- 28:01Speaker 3: John Brennan is. He was the director of the CIA
- 28:05Speaker 3: from twenty thirteen to twenty seventeen under Barack Obama. Now,
- 28:09Speaker 3: in nineteen seventy six, John Brennan was a young man.
- 28:13Speaker 3: Nineteen seventy six, You were not alive.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Is that right?
- 28:15Speaker 6: Ben?
- 28:16Speaker 1: I was not.
- 28:17Speaker 3: No, Now you're enough of a political student and scholar.
- 28:22Speaker 3: Let me ask you. Who were the presidential candidates in
- 28:24Speaker 3: nineteen seventy six?
- 28:26Speaker 2: Jimmy Carter, Yeah, all right, and on the Republican side.
- 28:31Speaker 1: I love when you play these games with me. Dan
- 28:35Speaker 1: was Reagan seventy six as well?
- 28:36Speaker 3: No, no, he so Reagan ran, but he lost.
- 28:41Speaker 1: It was Ford. It was Ford.
- 28:42Speaker 3: Ford was the incumbent president's remember Richard Nixon had been president.
- 28:45Speaker 3: He resigned, so Ford was the incumbent President Reagan primary
- 28:49Speaker 3: Ford but he lost in that primary. So the general
- 28:51Speaker 3: election was Gerald Ford versus Jimmy Carter. Now, let me
- 28:55Speaker 3: ask you, all right, in that election, who would you
- 28:57Speaker 3: vote for?
- 28:58Speaker 2: I'm gonna probably go the Republican there, not Jimmy Carter.
- 29:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:02Speaker 3: Look, although I will say, and by the way, do
- 29:05Speaker 3: you know this is my first political memory. I'm about
- 29:07Speaker 3: ten years older than you are. My first political memory
- 29:11Speaker 3: is when I was five years old, nineteen seventy six,
- 29:14Speaker 3: and my mother voted for Jimmy Carter. My mother is
- 29:17Speaker 3: a strong conservative. She just thought Gerald Ford was an idiot.
- 29:20Speaker 3: And I remember my father, my father, who's an immigrant
- 29:23Speaker 3: from Quba. He was not yet a US citizen. He
- 29:25Speaker 3: is today, but he was not in seventy six. And
- 29:27Speaker 3: my father was furious because he felt like my mom
- 29:30Speaker 3: had the family's vote and she voted for Jimmy Carter.
- 29:34Speaker 1: It's funny.
- 29:35Speaker 3: My mom is ninety now and she's incredible and a
- 29:37Speaker 3: wonderful conservative and incredible person. But when I bring this up,
- 29:41Speaker 3: she's like, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I didn't know. Jimmy
- 29:45Speaker 3: Carter was an absolute disaster. He was a left wing wacko.
- 29:50Speaker 3: He was the worst president this country had ever seen
- 29:53Speaker 3: until Joe Biden. Joe Biden managed to be worse than
- 29:57Speaker 3: Jimmy Carter. Now, how is this relevant to John Well?
- 30:00Speaker 3: John Brennan was in college at the time. He was
- 30:03Speaker 3: faced with a choice between Gerald Ford and ultra left
- 30:07Speaker 3: wing crazy Jimmy Carter. What do you think, John Brennan did.
- 30:11Speaker 1: I'm ready give me, give me the punch line here.
- 30:14Speaker 3: He cast his vote for a guy named Gus Hall.
- 30:17Speaker 3: Do you know who Gus Hall was?
- 30:19Speaker 1: I do not.
- 30:20Speaker 3: He was the presidential candidate for the Communist Party USA.
- 30:25Speaker 1: And there's your sign.
- 30:27Speaker 3: So John Brennan decided Jimmy Carter is two right wing
- 30:32Speaker 3: for him, and he voted for someone who I'm not
- 30:35Speaker 3: calling him a communist. He was the nominee of the
- 30:38Speaker 3: Communist Party. And John Brennan said, I want America governed
- 30:42Speaker 3: by a communist president. That's who Barack Obama put in
- 30:46Speaker 3: charge of the CIA, and that's who who was played
- 30:50Speaker 3: an integral role in orchestrating the whole Russia Gate fraud.
- 30:55Speaker 3: And and and it's just it's important to understand just
- 30:59Speaker 3: how extreme and radical this guy is.
- 31:01Speaker 1: I got to tell you.
- 31:03Speaker 3: I don't know, to be honest, I don't know anybody
- 31:06Speaker 3: else in public life who thought Jimmy Carter was too conservative.
- 31:11Speaker 3: John Brennan is literally to the left of every Democrat Senator,
- 31:15Speaker 3: every Democrat House member, every single person I've ever encountered
- 31:19Speaker 3: in public life. The lefty loons all voted for Jimmy
- 31:22Speaker 3: Carter except for John Brennan, who said, Nope, we need
- 31:25Speaker 3: a full on communist.
- 31:27Speaker 1: That's who this guy is.
- 31:28Speaker 2: Final question on this, how concerned do you think these
- 31:32Speaker 2: two individuals should be about this investigation or is this
- 31:36Speaker 2: one of those moments where you say, Okay, yeah, there's investigation,
- 31:39Speaker 2: but I don't have to worry because nothing ever really
- 31:42Speaker 2: happens to us when when we're the elites.
- 31:44Speaker 3: Well, listen, the greatest exposure they have is for lying
- 31:47Speaker 3: to Congress, because lying to Congress you are under oath,
- 31:49Speaker 3: and lying under oath that carries a prison sentence that
- 31:52Speaker 3: carries up to five years in prison. James Clapper, who
- 31:55Speaker 3: was the Director of National Intelligence under Barack Obama, I
- 31:59Speaker 3: think the evidence is very clear that he lied to Congress,
- 32:03Speaker 3: whether John Brennan did, whether James Comy did. I think
- 32:06Speaker 3: this investigation will reveal. It will depend upon There's no
- 32:10Speaker 3: doubt they were terrible heads of the CIA and the FBI.
- 32:14Speaker 3: Whether they committed criminal conduct or not, I think that
- 32:18Speaker 3: that is the purpose of this investigation. But I got
- 32:21Speaker 3: to say, it is a big damn deal that the
- 32:25Speaker 3: former head of the FBI and the former head of
- 32:27Speaker 3: the CIA are being criminally investigated for felony conduct. That's
- 32:31Speaker 3: what's happening right now.
- 32:32Speaker 1: Don't forget.
- 32:33Speaker 2: We do the show three days a week, so make
- 32:35Speaker 2: sure that the subscribe or auto download button and the
- 32:38Speaker 2: Senator and I will also see you back here for
- 32:40Speaker 2: the week in review tomorrow
