  In Isaiah 23 and verse 9, Isaiah writes,

  The Lord of hosts has planned it to defile the pride of all beauty,

  to despise all the honored of the earth.

  I'm here to tell you today that Isaiah believed, and I believe it as well, that God did this.

  He's made a plan, he has a method in place,
• 0:28
  and he will eventually knock down all the things that men set up to replace him.

  In order for a kingdom to grow, in order for a society to advance,
• 0:38
  they have to make room for the foolish.
• 0:40
  There has to be room for people who don't live right.
• 0:44
  They may be punished or go to prison or whatever,
• 0:47
  but societies grow by allowing people freedoms.

  When a kingdom leaves room for fools within its borders,
• 0:57
  that does not give it the right or should not equal building the kingdom in a foolish way.

  Clinging to godly values despite interlopers in our midst
• 1:08
  is the only way to truly endure and understand the passage of time.

  God alone can build a kingdom that endures.

  Many kingdoms that fell into decadence have long been wiped away by violence or just slipped into obscurity.

  God alone has built one true kingdom that endures forever,

  and he's asking you to join him in it through his son Jesus Christ.

  Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved.

  Be part of God's eternal kingdom.
