Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Cocaine at the White House? "Lower Your Expectations" says Corporate Media, plus a WSJ Reporter who Needs to Come Home
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Lower your expectations. That is the media's propaganda talking about
- 0:07Speaker 1: the investigation into who left cocaine at the White House.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Lower your expectations, and if you'll just do that, you'll
- 0:17Speaker 1: be in much better footing. You'll love the response that
- 0:20Speaker 1: you're going to get. Just lower your expectations. That's the
- 0:24Speaker 1: number one thing that you need to do. MSNBC putting
- 0:28Speaker 1: out the propaganda that you need to calm down and
- 0:30Speaker 1: expect to never know who brought the cocaine into the
- 0:33Speaker 1: White House.
- 0:35Speaker 2: And the key thing is that multiple officials are cautioning
- 0:39Speaker 2: that it is unlikely and certainly possible that there would
- 0:44Speaker 2: be a resolution to this, meaning forensic evidence found that
- 0:48Speaker 2: could identify an individual scanning the video doing the testing,
- 0:53Speaker 2: But they are preparing us for a result that will
- 0:56Speaker 2: be no conclusive evidence found, and that is still subject
- 1:01Speaker 2: to change as the work continues. But that should give
- 1:04Speaker 2: people a sense of where this is. They are looking
- 1:07Speaker 2: at what's available. They're saying it's a very small bag,
- 1:11Speaker 2: limited ability to test it because as tests are done,
- 1:14Speaker 2: whether it's DNA or fingerprinting or other scientific type processes
- 1:18Speaker 2: in the lab, you further degrade that sample, making it
- 1:21Speaker 2: harder to get information from it, and of course they're
- 1:24Speaker 2: scanning the videos. This was found in a cubby off
- 1:28Speaker 2: of the lobby area of that pathway in and as
- 1:32Speaker 2: you know, often security cameras and so forth, they're getting
- 1:35Speaker 2: the big wide areas, and an official said a camera
- 1:38Speaker 2: would have had to have been trained in on the
- 1:40Speaker 2: cubbies and be able to see from the right angle
- 1:43Speaker 2: and individual dropping that packet. So expectations are being lowered
- 1:48Speaker 2: about an eventual conclusion here that would lead to an
- 1:52Speaker 2: identity and then even the potential for prosecution at a
- 1:56Speaker 2: misdemeanor level for the amount of drug we're talking about.
- 1:58Speaker 2: At the same time, this is this is unusual, to
- 2:02Speaker 2: say the least. Officials say they don't have any record
- 2:04Speaker 2: of an illicit drug like this being found in the
- 2:06Speaker 2: West Wing or in the White House before, and so
- 2:09Speaker 2: it is truly rare, and it has gotten a lot
- 2:11Speaker 2: of interest in the public.
- 2:13Speaker 1: To just lower your expectations, folks, We're not going to
- 2:16Speaker 1: know who did this. This is the most secure building
- 2:20Speaker 1: in America in theory, but you need to lower your
- 2:23Speaker 1: expectations to fit that right. MSNBC also saying this later
- 2:29Speaker 1: on that this is a sigh of relief for them
- 2:33Speaker 1: that they won't be named. Not joking. Listen carefully, this
- 2:35Speaker 1: is another report lowering your expectations and.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Stay with me for a moment. We do have some
- 2:40Speaker 2: breaking news that we're following some reporting on the small
- 2:43Speaker 2: baggy of cocaine found in the White Lie.
- 2:46Speaker 1: You know, a small baggie. Now, it's a small baggy
- 2:48Speaker 1: of cocaine. Like it's just a little bit of blow.
- 2:50Speaker 1: It's not like it's a lot of blow. It's a
- 2:52Speaker 1: small baggy of blow. Calm down, house.
- 2:55Speaker 2: What more can you tell us about this?
- 2:56Speaker 1: Ryan?
- 2:57Speaker 3: Yeah, Aaron Kelly o'donald reports that it's possible that we
- 2:59Speaker 3: might not even get to learn who actually brought uh
- 3:02Speaker 3: this small bag he is. So I'm sure that's a
- 3:04Speaker 3: sigh of relief to whoever sort of made the boneheaded
- 3:07Speaker 3: move of bringing a bag of cocaine to the White House.
- 3:09Speaker 3: But because this is in Ah, you know, not an
- 3:11Speaker 3: area that you know, it's highly trafficked, but not wasn't
- 3:14Speaker 3: necessarily covered by cameras all that, well, you know, it's
- 3:17Speaker 3: an area that a decent amount of people had access to.
- 3:20Speaker 3: It just makes that investigation a little bit difficult. So,
- 3:23Speaker 3: you know, this could all end without you know, necessarily
- 3:26Speaker 3: anyone being named as the person who was responsible for
- 3:29Speaker 3: bringing that bag of cocaine to the White House.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Yes, s I of relief right, whoever brought this cocaine
- 3:34Speaker 1: to the White House. It's likely to end without anyone
- 3:36Speaker 1: being named. We'll never know. So if you were hoping, yeah,
- 3:40Speaker 1: we're gonna we're gonna just slow those expectations again. This
- 3:43Speaker 1: is the White House refused to say whether or not
- 3:45Speaker 1: cocaine belonged to Joe or Hunter. Biden won't even answer
- 3:48Speaker 1: that question, like, hey, can you rule out the President
- 3:50Speaker 1: won't answer it, Hey, will you rule out the sun
- 3:53Speaker 1: won't answer it. This is one of the most, if
- 3:56Speaker 1: not the most secure building in America, and you're telling
- 4:00Speaker 1: me that we can't figure this out. Jason Chafis, former congressman,
- 4:05Speaker 1: said this on Fox about the idea that cocaine and
- 4:08Speaker 1: the West Wing you can't figure out who brought it in. Listen,
- 4:10Speaker 1: there's an outside perimeter of security. They have badges. Everybody
- 4:15Speaker 1: has a badge.
- 4:15Speaker 4: There are multiple cameras.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Going on through this.
- 4:18Speaker 4: You don't just get to rock around the West Wing,
- 4:21Speaker 4: even if your staff without a heavy presence of the
- 4:24Speaker 4: Secret Service and a distinct understanding of who's going where
- 4:29Speaker 4: and why, And so I think they already know where
- 4:33Speaker 4: it is. I think they're trying to wait for the
- 4:35Speaker 4: DNA evidence that doesn't happen in just a half a
- 4:38Speaker 4: day or a day. But the Secret Service, I do believe,
- 4:42Speaker 4: knows at this point who this person is.
- 4:44Speaker 1: I think he's probably right. But if the media says
- 4:47Speaker 1: you'll never know, then there's a good change you can
- 4:49Speaker 1: get away with never telling us. Stephen Miller, who worked
- 4:53Speaker 1: at the White House, he was asked about this, saying, Hey,
- 4:57Speaker 1: the idea that we don't know who this is is
- 5:00Speaker 1: had a plausible response to all of this, Like is
- 5:03Speaker 1: that a realistic response? Listen to what he said last night,
- 5:07Speaker 1: steph Okay. So the quote on the day that it
- 5:12Speaker 1: happened by.
- 5:13Speaker 5: The person that has Matt Team, who identifies it preliminarily
- 5:16Speaker 5: as cocaine, is it's in the library, which is the
- 5:19Speaker 5: inner sanctum, and then all of a sudden we're told, oh,
- 5:23Speaker 5: it's where all the people come in. Now let's talk
- 5:26Speaker 5: about where Karine Jean Pierre said it's found. Can you
- 5:29Speaker 5: describe that area for us, Stephen?
- 5:31Speaker 6: So the original area they appear to be referring to
- 5:36Speaker 6: would be what is sometimes colloquially known as the Marine entrance,
- 5:40Speaker 6: where you see the two Marine guards standing there, and
- 5:42Speaker 6: that's where dignitaries come through, and that's where it scored
- 5:46Speaker 6: and guests come through, and then there's a waiting area,
- 5:48Speaker 6: but that's only a very highly controlled area. That's an
- 5:52Speaker 6: escort only area. You've been through extensive screening to be
- 5:56Speaker 6: anywhere close to that area. So it's not just that
- 5:58Speaker 6: you're going through a a mag.
- 6:01Speaker 1: And getting wanted.
- 6:02Speaker 6: You've been pre cleared and pre screened, and somebody knows
- 6:05Speaker 6: exactly who you are and everything about you. We have
- 6:07Speaker 6: an extensive history on you by the time you've reached
- 6:09Speaker 6: that location.
- 6:10Speaker 5: And in addition to that, Steven, are there not security
- 6:13Speaker 5: cameras identifying everyone who's coming in and watching people.
- 6:17Speaker 6: I would just put it this way, nobody is going
- 6:20Speaker 6: into the West Wing of the White House without a
- 6:23Speaker 6: million eyes being on you. This is one of the
- 6:25Speaker 6: most secure facilities in the face of the earth. You
- 6:28Speaker 6: were only steps away from the Oval Office, You're only
- 6:32Speaker 6: steps away from the Situation Room, You're only steps away
- 6:35Speaker 6: from the offices of the National Security Advisor, and many
- 6:39Speaker 6: other of the highest ranking officers in the US government.
- 6:42Speaker 1: I'm going to stop in there because I think there's
- 6:43Speaker 1: another point here that has to be made. If this
- 6:46Speaker 1: was any other substance, they would tell you who the
- 6:50Speaker 1: person was. If it was anthrax or any type of
- 6:54Speaker 1: biological weapon, any other type of chemical that could harm people,
- 6:59Speaker 1: they would have our arrested the person. The idea that
- 7:02Speaker 1: this baggie of cocaine has now moved around what three
- 7:04Speaker 1: different times, not once, not twice, but three different times. Okay,
- 7:11Speaker 1: three different times. This baggie of cocaine has moved around.
- 7:16Speaker 1: It was in the library, no, just kidding, it was
- 7:18Speaker 1: an I have really populator, just kidding. Okay, it was
- 7:20Speaker 1: in the cubbies right by outside of the Oval office. Okay,
- 7:23Speaker 1: So what the hell is it? Right? What is it?
- 7:28Speaker 1: Do we know what it is? Do we have any
- 7:30Speaker 1: idea what this is going to be? I think they
- 7:34Speaker 1: know all of these answers. I think this baggie of
- 7:36Speaker 1: cocaine has moved left and right, up and down and
- 7:39Speaker 1: all over the damn place. And I think that's part
- 7:41Speaker 1: of the cover up here in the corruption here, and
- 7:44Speaker 1: we should all be asking these questions. Every part of
- 7:48Speaker 1: this should be answered. Now, before I get into more
- 7:51Speaker 1: of this story, I want to say thank you and
- 7:53Speaker 1: tell you about our good friends at the Gust of
- 7:54Speaker 1: Precious Metals. Have you been saving a long time for retirement. Well,
- 7:58Speaker 1: if you have, you probably really stressed out over the
- 8:01Speaker 1: last year with interest rates have been skyrocketing, inflation issues,
- 8:04Speaker 1: bank failures, and people that have actually lost some money
- 8:08Speaker 1: in their retirement accounts. If you aren't invested and diversified
- 8:13Speaker 1: in gold, you should check out August of Precious Metals.
- 8:16Speaker 1: August of Precious Metals. They're just different. They'll even tell
- 8:19Speaker 1: you if a gold IRA isn't your answer, they give
- 8:23Speaker 1: you the facts about gold and precious medals. It's all
- 8:27Speaker 1: about protecting your IRA and protecting your four oh one
- 8:30Speaker 1: K in this crazy economy. And it's so important if
- 8:34Speaker 1: you're in retirement or close to retirement, because there's no
- 8:36Speaker 1: time to make up losses. Now, if you've had those losses,
- 8:40Speaker 1: you know what I'm talking about. So if you've saved
- 8:42Speaker 1: one hundred thousand dollars or more, take a look at

- 9:09Speaker 1: Or visit Augusta Precious Medals dot com. That's Augusta Precious
- 9:15Speaker 1: Medals dot com er eight seven seven the number four
- 9:18Speaker 1: gold ir A. James Comer is going to begin deposing
- 9:23Speaker 1: Biden business associates. He has now confirmed this. The House
- 9:28Speaker 1: Oversight Committee is set to begin deposing the Biden crime
- 9:33Speaker 1: family business associates in the coming weeks and months, the chairman,
- 9:37Speaker 1: James Comer, has now said publicly. Comer said Devin Archer,
- 9:43Speaker 1: one of Hunter Biden's top associates, will be the first
- 9:47Speaker 1: member to pose to unravel the family's international business schemes.
- 9:53Speaker 1: A source with knowledge of the committee's schedule has confirmed
- 9:57Speaker 1: that Archer's lawyers are in con tact with the committee
- 10:01Speaker 1: about scheduling the interview in mid June. The committee subpoena
- 10:06Speaker 1: to Devon Archer to appear before it on June the nineteenth.
- 10:10Speaker 1: A source familiar with the situations confirmed that he negotiated
- 10:13Speaker 1: later deposition date, saying, quote, we are entering the deposition
- 10:19Speaker 1: phase about this ongoing investigation into the Bidens. Lawmakers conceivably
- 10:26Speaker 1: have about twelve months left to investigate the family shitty
- 10:30Speaker 1: business deals. This campaign season in the summer of twenty
- 10:33Speaker 1: twenty four will likely become the priority in Washington, d c. Quote.
- 10:38Speaker 1: We will have Devon Archer the first person who was
- 10:41Speaker 1: involved in the Hunter Biden business dealings. He will be
- 10:44Speaker 1: the first person we deposed. Comber said, we have a
- 10:47Speaker 1: list of who's who's that we're involved in the Biden
- 10:51Speaker 1: organization that we plan on deposing throughout the summer. Now
- 10:56Speaker 1: you may not know this, so I'll remind you. Devin
- 10:59Speaker 1: Archer was unter Biden's quote best friend in business quote unquote.
- 11:04Speaker 1: He got in major legal trouble just last year in
- 11:08Speaker 1: twenty twenty two for defrauding a Native American tribal entity.
- 11:13Speaker 1: The court ordered him to pay forty three million, nine
- 11:18Speaker 1: hundred and fifty four thousand, four hundred and sixteen dollars
- 11:22Speaker 1: and seventy five cents in a judgment to the Native
- 11:25Speaker 1: American victims. Prior to his arrest, Devin Archer served in
- 11:31Speaker 1: twenty fourteen with Hunter Biden on the board of Barisma,
- 11:36Speaker 1: that Ukrainian based energy company whose executive allegedly bribed not
- 11:42Speaker 1: only Hunter Biden with five million dollars, but with the
- 11:45Speaker 1: President of the United States of America Joe Biden with
- 11:48Speaker 1: his five million dollars for himself as well. Photographers infamously
- 11:53Speaker 1: photographed Devin Archer playing golf with Hunter Biden and then
- 11:57Speaker 1: Vice President Joe Biden in Southampton, New York, which was
- 12:02Speaker 1: the first picture to confirm clearly that the President of
- 12:05Speaker 1: the United States of America was lying to us when
- 12:07Speaker 1: he said he never discussed any of his business decisions
- 12:12Speaker 1: with his son or anything about business with his brother
- 12:16Speaker 1: or any other family member. Clearly that was a lie.
- 12:20Speaker 1: The photo was the first photo to raise questions regarding
- 12:23Speaker 1: the extent to which Joe Biden was aware not only
- 12:27Speaker 1: of his son's overseas business deals, but how involved he
- 12:30Speaker 1: actually was. Remember, he was never forced to discuss any
- 12:35Speaker 1: of that when he ran for president, the media covered
- 12:38Speaker 1: for him. Devin Archer was by Hunter Biden's side for
- 12:42Speaker 1: decades in the business deals. They knew each other for
- 12:46Speaker 1: quite some time. They attended Yale together in the late
- 12:48Speaker 1: nineteen nineties, Archer went on to become the vice chairman
- 12:53Speaker 1: of finance for John Carey's failed two thousand and four
- 12:57Speaker 1: presidential campaign. Many people didn't know that he was connected
- 13:02Speaker 1: with his college classmate Chris Hines. That would be Kerrie's
- 13:05Speaker 1: step son. Now a lot of people don't realize that
- 13:08Speaker 1: John Carrey's step son, Chris Hines, was another Biden family
- 13:13Speaker 1: business partner that we would expect to be deposed now.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Archer is not the only associate James Comer has subpoena.
- 13:22Speaker 1: The committee has not publicly produced any results of those subpoenas,
- 13:27Speaker 1: but we do know that in May, Comer said the
- 13:29Speaker 1: Biden family members will quote more than likely receive subpoenas.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Those also appear out now that if they're gonna call
- 13:38Speaker 1: Hunter Biden, James Biden, the other Biden crime family members
- 13:41Speaker 1: who are on the take here, there's a reason why
- 13:43Speaker 1: they're playing it this way. They want to get all
- 13:45Speaker 1: these other people on the record first. They know what
- 13:47Speaker 1: questions to ask the Bidens. Clearly there's a strategy here
- 13:52Speaker 1: that is playing out now. All this is happening as
- 13:56Speaker 1: the White House has now officially refused to say whether
- 14:01Speaker 1: or not the cocaine found at the White House over
- 14:04Speaker 1: the weekend. It is a crime scene at the White
- 14:06Speaker 1: House belonged to Joe or Hunter Biden. That's right. The
- 14:12Speaker 1: White House Deputy pre Secretary Andrew Bates could not say
- 14:16Speaker 1: whether or not the cocaine founder Joe Biden quote he
- 14:21Speaker 1: is citing the Hatch Act. Quote. Are you willing to
- 14:25Speaker 1: say that that's not the case, that it the cocaine
- 14:29Speaker 1: doesn't belong to them. A reporter asked Baits aboard Air
- 14:33Speaker 1: Force one. Quote. I don't have a response to that
- 14:36Speaker 1: because we have to be careful about the Hatch Act,
- 14:39Speaker 1: he claimed. The reporter did not follow up with Baits
- 14:42Speaker 1: on how the Hatch Act would apply to this situation now.
- 14:46Speaker 1: The Hatch Act's main provision blocks Executive Branch employees from
- 14:50Speaker 1: engaging in partisan political activity while on duty, in a
- 14:54Speaker 1: federal facility or using federal property. According to the Justice Department,
- 14:59Speaker 1: I I will say is that I've noticed there does
- 15:03Speaker 1: seem to be some increasing frustration coming from that corner
- 15:07Speaker 1: in general, and I think it is probably it probably
- 15:11Speaker 1: included in the contrast between their substances and their policy records.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Bates tried to change the subject. Obviously that made no
- 15:19Speaker 1: sense at all. What's absurd about this is that the
- 15:23Speaker 1: idea of the Hatchack would somehow be involved here is
- 15:25Speaker 1: maybe the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. It actually
- 15:29Speaker 1: doesn't even make sense. Now we have the audio from
- 15:33Speaker 1: the press gaggle aboard Air Force one en route to
- 15:36Speaker 1: South Carolina. You're gonna hear it in the background. Listen carefully,
- 15:40Speaker 1: Well one more, you know, president form.
- 15:42Speaker 7: President Trump has made some pretty wild posts recently on
- 15:45Speaker 7: social media. One of them was that the cocaine found
- 15:48Speaker 7: the White House was it belonged to either the President
- 15:52Speaker 7: or his son? Are you willing to say that that's
- 15:55Speaker 7: not the case, that they don't belong to them.
- 15:57Speaker 8: I don't have a respect to that, because we have
- 16:01Speaker 8: to be careful about the hatch Act. What I will
- 16:05Speaker 8: say is that I have noticed there does seem to
- 16:08Speaker 8: be some increasing frustration coming from that corner in general,
- 16:13Speaker 8: and I think it is probably rooted in the contrast
- 16:16Speaker 8: between their substantive policy records.
- 16:19Speaker 1: That literally makes no sense. It's almost that's like a
- 16:23Speaker 1: response you would get if you were on cocaine. A
- 16:25Speaker 1: second reporter asked the White House if they would comment
- 16:30Speaker 1: on this, or even if they would commit to transparency
- 16:33Speaker 1: if the Secret Service discovered who smuggled the cocaine the
- 16:36Speaker 1: White House. If the Secret Service is able to determine
- 16:39Speaker 1: the individuals and individual responsible, will the White House commit
- 16:43Speaker 1: to transparency in this and making that information public? The
- 16:47Speaker 1: reporter asked, listen to the White House's response to that cocaine.
- 16:54Speaker 9: I understand the Secret Service is conducting an investigation. If
- 16:57Speaker 9: the Secret Service is able to determine the individual responsible,
- 17:02Speaker 9: will the Secret Service and the and will the White
- 17:04Speaker 9: House commit to transparency in this and making that information public.
- 17:09Speaker 8: I'm going to defer to the Secret Service professionals who
- 17:11Speaker 8: are carrying this out. I'm just not going to engage
- 17:13Speaker 8: on hypotheticals about it. I would suggest you contact them
- 17:18Speaker 8: for anything more.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Again, the biggest load of crap answer that you can
- 17:23Speaker 1: give this is a mid level Biden staffer. Can you
- 17:27Speaker 1: imagine if that's how they downgraded you, Like the White
- 17:29Speaker 1: House is telling you this mid level. Like, imagine if
- 17:31Speaker 1: you see your name in lights and they're referring to
- 17:33Speaker 1: you as mid level because they're trying to diminish Andrew
- 17:36Speaker 1: Bates saying, ah, it's a mid level guy, right. This
- 17:38Speaker 1: is how this is how non serious we are about this.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Now the question serious right if the Secret Service determines
- 17:45Speaker 1: the individual responsible, And I want to be clear about this,
- 17:47Speaker 1: I have no doubt they know who did this. I've
- 17:50Speaker 1: been in the White House. I've been lucky enough to
- 17:52Speaker 1: go in the White House quite a few times in
- 17:54Speaker 1: my life, and the idea that this is would be
- 17:58Speaker 1: hard to figure out is totally and absurd. I want
- 18:02Speaker 1: to also be clear about that they know who brought
- 18:05Speaker 1: this in there. I have no doubt if this was
- 18:08Speaker 1: anthrax or something else, the person would have already been
- 18:10Speaker 1: apprehended and arrested. This would have been and charged. Okay,
- 18:15Speaker 1: I want to also make that very very very very clear.
- 18:18Speaker 1: I have no doubt that the cameras picked up who
- 18:23Speaker 1: it is and they figured it out. Now, I actually
- 18:27Speaker 1: believe there's a very good chance this was not Hunter
- 18:29Speaker 1: Biden based on when they found it. I believe there's
- 18:32Speaker 1: a good chances could have just been these types of
- 18:36Speaker 1: people that work at the White House who basically think
- 18:38Speaker 1: that the rules don't apply to them. And if you
- 18:40Speaker 1: look at this administration, you look at this White House,
- 18:42Speaker 1: it makes sense that they would have a bunch of
- 18:45Speaker 1: a bunch of druggies around, right, A bunch of coke
- 18:47Speaker 1: heads around doing blow. I think there's a very good
- 18:50Speaker 1: chances the staffer they probably were out the night before,
- 18:54Speaker 1: or they were going out that night, they needed their
- 18:56Speaker 1: cocaine with them, and they decided to bring it to
- 18:59Speaker 1: the White House. Now, is there chance, of course, of
- 19:01Speaker 1: the drug use of Hunter Biden that in theory could
- 19:03Speaker 1: be his, Yes, but I'm not obsessed with that story.
- 19:05Speaker 1: What I'm upset about is the fact that the White House,
- 19:08Speaker 1: I'm sure has figured this out. They know whose drugs
- 19:12Speaker 1: it is, They know whose drugs this is. I did
- 19:18Speaker 1: out number yesterday and I was sitting there with former
- 19:20Speaker 1: White House pre secretary on the panel with me as well,
- 19:24Speaker 1: Kaylee mcininnie, and she said, no way Hunter Biden was
- 19:27Speaker 1: a source of cocaine at the White House. She dismissed
- 19:30Speaker 1: the idea that the cocaine found at the White House
- 19:32Speaker 1: belonged to President Joe Biden's son. She said, quote camp David,
- 19:37Speaker 1: there is no way it is conceivable to think cocaine
- 19:40Speaker 1: could sit for a seventy two hour period, So I
- 19:43Speaker 1: would rule him out at this point. She's probably right,
- 19:48Speaker 1: it's probably a staff member either doing blow at the
- 19:51Speaker 1: White House or was taking it in advance. Regardless, the
- 19:54Speaker 1: fact that you felt comfortable enough to bring a hardcore
- 19:58Speaker 1: drug cocaine in into the White House tells you everything
- 20:03Speaker 1: you need to know about this White House. This is
- 20:07Speaker 1: who's running the country. I also would make this point,
- 20:10Speaker 1: I don't believe the presidents run the country. You look
- 20:13Speaker 1: at the stumbles, you look at the gaps, you look
- 20:16Speaker 1: at the schedule of this president. It's pretty clear he's
- 20:19Speaker 1: not running this administration. What concerns me is could there
- 20:24Speaker 1: be a kokeead at the high level in this White
- 20:27Speaker 1: House who clearly has significant influence on this White House?
- 20:32Speaker 1: Is there a chance that that individual at the White
- 20:35Speaker 1: House is doing drugs with other people at the White
- 20:38Speaker 1: House who are making massive policy decisions for the United
- 20:42Speaker 1: States of America. That is the question that people should
- 20:45Speaker 1: be asking. And why are they protecting that staffer. I
- 20:49Speaker 1: have no doubt they know at this point who did it,
- 20:52Speaker 1: What are they hiding and what employee are they protecting.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Let me also say something else. Experts are baffled by
- 21:02Speaker 1: the White House invoking the hatch Haac to dodge questions
- 21:05Speaker 1: about this cocaine. Even a democratic ethics experts say if
- 21:10Speaker 1: Biden campaign staffer were high as a kite, the Hatchac
- 21:13Speaker 1: would not cover the cocaine in question. The idea they
- 21:17Speaker 1: thought that that respond so I can't talk about this
- 21:21Speaker 1: because the hatch At act is absurd. Experts who understand
- 21:25Speaker 1: the hatch Act understand that invoking the Hatchack when asked
- 21:30Speaker 1: whether President Biden or his son owned the cocaine found
- 21:33Speaker 1: the White House truly is a middle finger to every
- 21:36Speaker 1: single American. That's something we need to understand. And when
- 21:41Speaker 1: you have the White House Deputy pres Secretary Andrew Bates
- 21:44Speaker 1: as being asked during this press gaggle whether the president
- 21:47Speaker 1: can deny that he or his son owned the cocaine
- 21:50Speaker 1: found the White House, and then he says, I can't
- 21:52Speaker 1: answer that question. Come on, really, I don't have a
- 21:56Speaker 1: response to that because we have to be careful about
- 21:58Speaker 1: the Hatchac. That's your response. And the media, by the way,
- 22:01Speaker 1: went along with It's like they're like, all right, we
- 22:02Speaker 1: asked the question. We're gonna move on now. We asked
- 22:05Speaker 1: the question. We can check that box. And then Bates
- 22:11Speaker 1: compared Biden's policy record to his predecessor's record. No, they're
- 22:17Speaker 1: not the same folks. There was never a time that
- 22:20Speaker 1: cocaine was found the White House when Donald Trump was there.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Then they said we got to invoke the Hatch Act.
- 22:24Speaker 1: That has nothing to do with answering the damn question.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Attorney Bradley Moss said this, he is candidly at loss
- 22:33Speaker 1: as to why mister Bates believe the hatjack is relevant
- 22:37Speaker 1: with respect to addressing that question. Quote. I could envision
- 22:40Speaker 1: other legitimate basis for declining to respond, such as respecting
- 22:44Speaker 1: the integrity of an ongoing investigation, but to reference a
- 22:47Speaker 1: hatjack seems misplaced. Former Bush Administration Ethics chief chief Richard Paynter,
- 22:54Speaker 1: who ran for Congress as a Democrat last cycle, said
- 22:57Speaker 1: he was and said this quote given lectures at the
- 23:03Speaker 1: White House and publish articles on the Hatch Act, but
- 23:07Speaker 1: the bill does not cover snorting cocaine, referring to the
- 23:11Speaker 1: Hatch Act being important again, saying it doesn't cover snorting
- 23:15Speaker 1: campaign What the blank does the hatjack have to do
- 23:18Speaker 1: with cocaine question mark? This is the most ridiculous invocation
- 23:24Speaker 1: of the Hatch Act I've ever seen. Painter add that
- 23:27Speaker 1: even if someone on Biden's campaign were hid as a kite,
- 23:30Speaker 1: the hat jack would not cover the cocaine in question. Yeah,
- 23:35Speaker 1: very odd. The Baits would pivot to the Hatch Act
- 23:39Speaker 1: and doesn't deny that the president or the son, the
- 23:44Speaker 1: first Sons, that this cocaine was connecting them, because wouldn't
- 23:47Speaker 1: you want to get that out there? Right? If you
- 23:50Speaker 1: know that this isn't their cocaine, wouldn't you immediately say, Hey,
- 23:55Speaker 1: this cocaine found the White House does not belong to you,
- 23:58Speaker 1: the president or son. That's the question they're asking, right,
- 24:01Speaker 1: does it You would immediately say it does not? Right,
- 24:06Speaker 1: You would immediately say that the that they are not
- 24:11Speaker 1: on drugs and the and the famous Hatch Act. You
- 24:14Speaker 1: may have heard about this before. This provision which does
- 24:18Speaker 1: it doesn't allow you to say, you know what, It
- 24:22Speaker 1: doesn't allow you to say what the White House said.
- 24:26Speaker 1: The Hatch Act doesn't say or say to the people
- 24:29Speaker 1: with the White House had You can't answer the question
- 24:31Speaker 1: if cocaine belongs to the president or his son. That
- 24:35Speaker 1: is insane. So it brings up the question of Okay,
- 24:39Speaker 1: well is it the president's cocaine? Is it the first
- 24:43Speaker 1: son's cocaine? Why wouldn't you answer the question say it's not,
- 24:46Speaker 1: it's not their cocaine. It's not their cocaine. There is
- 24:52Speaker 1: more pressure now coming on the White House to bring
- 24:56Speaker 1: home a someone that needs to come home that's in captivity.
- 25:03Speaker 1: This is pretty shocking. The Wall Street General reporter's family
- 25:07Speaker 1: is not reflecting on one hundred days of his attainment
- 25:09Speaker 1: in Russia. The mother of that reporter has now done
- 25:14Speaker 1: a sit down with the Wall Street Journal and is
- 25:17Speaker 1: now putting pressure on the Biden administration to bring their
- 25:20Speaker 1: son home. They brought home Brittany Grinder because she was
- 25:24Speaker 1: more important than another American being held there. Right, that's
- 25:26Speaker 1: what they've decided. Now take a listen.
- 25:29Speaker 10: It's even hard enough to leave him there then it
- 25:33Speaker 10: was the first time. I try not to think about anything.
- 25:38Speaker 8: That's just very hard.
- 25:40Speaker 10: You don't want your mind to go there. I don't
- 25:42Speaker 10: want my mind to go anywhere.
- 25:44Speaker 11: The conviction rate in Russia is nearly one hundred percent.
- 25:48Speaker 10: Exactly is there acal in cases like that?
- 25:51Speaker 11: Is there anything about his case that gives you hope?
- 25:54Speaker 10: No? No, I rely on President Bias than promise to
- 26:01Speaker 10: do whatever it takes to bring Evan back. I rely
- 26:05Speaker 10: on his team, on their expertise.
- 26:08Speaker 11: Just knowing that our government is doing everything in their
- 26:12Speaker 11: power right now, and just everyone wants to help and
- 26:20Speaker 11: is thinking about him. And I just know that we're
- 26:23Speaker 11: not alone in.
- 26:23Speaker 1: This there it is. Oh, I just know they're going
- 26:26Speaker 1: to you know, his expertise. If you're counting on the
- 26:31Speaker 1: expertise of this White House. That's concerning. And I don't
- 26:36Speaker 1: mean that in a mean way. I mean that in
- 26:39Speaker 1: an honest way. This administration decided to value the life
- 26:43Speaker 1: of a WNBA player over and another American that was
- 26:46Speaker 1: there and there longer and didn't get him back. That's
- 26:49Speaker 1: concerning and everybody should be concerned with that. If you're
- 26:55Speaker 1: being held right now and you don't fit a box, okay,
- 27:00Speaker 1: and then you've got a real problem here. If you're
- 27:03Speaker 1: not one that they say is valued, okay, then there's
- 27:08Speaker 1: a real problem. Is this guy a white guy, yes?
- 27:12Speaker 1: Is he a reporter? Yes? Do they care about him?
- 27:14Speaker 1: I don't think they value him. I think that's a
- 27:19Speaker 1: fair way of putting it. Like, I don't think they
- 27:22Speaker 1: value him at all. I think it's a complete opposite
- 27:27Speaker 1: of that. I think they look at this and they go, ah,
- 27:30Speaker 1: you know, so what we got an American there. This
- 27:36Speaker 1: American is a guy that is he's a reporter, he
- 27:41Speaker 1: knew the risks. We'll get him back when we get
- 27:44Speaker 1: him back. But this is Vladimir Putin flexing his muscles.
- 27:48Speaker 1: We also have an American that's gone missing in Iraq.
- 27:50Speaker 1: You may not have heard about that either. You have
- 27:53Speaker 1: an American AID worker that was interact that was taken.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Is the White House doing much on that? You got
- 27:59Speaker 1: to ask yourself the question, now, do they even care
- 28:02Speaker 1: if Americans are taken? Do they have any muscle left
- 28:06Speaker 1: in them? Apparently no, right, Apparently we don't have that anymore.
- 28:13Speaker 1: We don't have that type of focus. We don't have
- 28:17Speaker 1: that type of protection if you are an American and
- 28:21Speaker 1: you're going around the country or excuse me, around the
- 28:25Speaker 1: world and you are taken. I don't think there's any
- 28:28Speaker 1: guarantee now that this administration does anything under the bare minimum.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Under the bare minimum means they move the fingers, they
- 28:37Speaker 1: click some boxes, they say something, and that's it, and
- 28:42Speaker 1: then they just kind of let it happen. They just
- 28:45Speaker 1: kind of let it play out for what it is.
- 28:48Speaker 1: We're not gonna you know, it used to be if
- 28:50Speaker 1: you screwed with an American, you're mad. If you screw
- 28:55Speaker 1: with an American. And you mess with an American, there
- 29:00Speaker 1: was hell to pay. You mess with an American. Let
- 29:03Speaker 1: me say it again, there was hell to pay. That's
- 29:07Speaker 1: obviously not the case. Now it's not the case at all.
- 29:13Speaker 1: And it's incredibly frustrating to me that this is now
- 29:16Speaker 1: where we are in this country, in this world. We
- 29:21Speaker 1: have a White House that doesn't have to answer questions
- 29:23Speaker 1: about if cocaine is even the president's or his sons.
- 29:27Speaker 1: They make up things about it being the hatch at
- 29:30Speaker 1: saying they can't answer that question. The media not freaking out.
- 29:33Speaker 1: You've got two different Americans, this journalist who's been detained
- 29:37Speaker 1: for one hundred days in Russia. You have a woman
- 29:39Speaker 1: that goes missing, an American in Iraq being held by
- 29:43Speaker 1: what we understand is basically a fringe Muslim group. Anybody
- 29:47Speaker 1: going to pay attention to that, Anyone going to pay
- 29:52Speaker 1: attention to that. Make sure you subscribe it the auto
