- 0:00The B -Side in boxing. B -Side shit. B -Side.
- 0:04B -Side. And the B -Side. You got a B -Side.
- 0:06The B -Side. B -Side. B -Side. B -Side. The B
- 0:10-Side thing. This is the B -Sides Boxing Podcast.
- 0:20Alright, are we ready to roll? Hey, whatever
- 0:23you guys are. All right, let's fucking do this.
- 0:31Boxing B -sides. We're back, bitch. Disappeared,
- 0:35a little bit of technical difficulties. I'll
- 0:38take the blame on that one. That was me. But
- 0:40joined by the homies, the one and only Saul.
- 0:45What's up, guys? Glad to be back after a little
- 0:48bit of hiatus. And Josh, the rant man himself.
- 0:54There's Crawford Hader over here. This guy's
- 0:58a real tennis Crawford Hader. Hates greatness.
- 1:02Hates greatness. I don't know if you can tell,
- 1:06but I'm trying to reach me. I wasn't listening
- 1:09to the past, but I was dealing with something.
- 1:11Hold on. No MMA news today. God bless. If you
- 1:21want to hear some MMA stuff, there is actually
- 1:24a lot coming up this weekend, but it's too much
- 1:27for us to go over just in really broad strokes,
- 1:30so go check out Ultimate FN Casuals. Wherever
- 1:32you're listening to this, you can find Ultimate
- 1:35FN Casuals there as well. Very good guys. And
- 1:40Isaac. Let's get into some news. We mentioned
- 1:45this, like this one got... Got in the lost tapes.
- 1:48But Tim Zhu has a new trainer. He's moved to
- 1:51a Cuban -style coach, Pedro Diaz, with Mundo
- 1:55Boxing. I don't know. How are we feeling? You
- 2:00think it's a good move? I think it's a good move
- 2:02in general. Just leave that toxic environment
- 2:05he was in. You know? They were kind of holding
- 2:09him back. I think that with the new trainer is
- 2:11a new beginning. And we might see another side
- 2:15of Tim Zhu we haven't seen before. What happened
- 2:19with Marcos Maidana when he went to Robert Garcia?
- 2:22Do you think Pedro Diaz is that level of fighter,
- 2:25though? No, I'm not saying that, but a new trainer
- 2:30can still bring out something new in a fighter.
- 2:34Fair, fair. When I talked about it with Shanada
- 2:41on Boxing Before Dark, Her reaction was that
- 2:48it's depending on what they tried to do with
- 2:52Tim. But the idea was that if he's going to a,
- 2:55like a Cuban style trainer, that they're going
- 2:58to try to make him into something that he isn't
- 3:00and that he could be trying to shore up his,
- 3:06his deficiencies rather than playing to his strengths.
- 3:11Yeah. Which I mean, Like, we've seen cases where
- 3:16both work in regards to, like, adjusting trainers
- 3:23and adjusting fighter development. But, frankly,
- 3:31like, with how Tim has been movement -wise in
- 3:37the past, I doubt that this is going to do anything
- 3:41but neuter his offensive gifts. I mean, you never
- 3:45know. He could just get tweaked here and there.
- 3:47I mean, from what I've seen from Diaz, I mean,
- 3:51he's not a bad trainer, but... No, he's not a
- 3:53bad trainer, but I don't think he's what Tim
- 3:55would need. No, yeah. But at the same time, it's
- 3:58like, what other trainers would work? You know,
- 4:00would we want to send him to bed, Davidson? You
- 4:03know? No, nothing in the UK. Actually, Andy Lee
- 4:07might not be... It isn't even a bad shout. Andy
- 4:09Lee's not a bad shout. Andy Lee's not a bad shout.
- 4:15Andy Lee would be a good candidate to train Tim
- 4:17Zu. Cuban style is also different now. Like,
- 4:23looking at... Yeah, aggressive, but it's still...
- 4:25More mobility -based? Yeah, that's the part that
- 4:29I'm like, I don't think Zu... Mobility is not
- 4:32something you associate with Tim Zu. Yeah. But
- 4:36you know what? You're right. The new era of Cubans
- 4:40is kind of crazy. It's actually really new. Really
- 4:43recent. You know, Morel and Osles. Yeah. Versus
- 4:48guys like Lara, or early Lara. Early Lara and
- 4:51Rigo. You know? Yeah. So, I mean, this new school
- 4:57of Cubans is a lot more, I would say, exciting.
- 4:59They bring a lot more power to the game. Oh,
- 5:02for sure. So, you know, Tim Zoo being a guy that,
- 5:07you can make fun of me for saying this, does
- 5:09have some good power. At 154. I think a good
- 5:14Cuban trainer that can utilize that properly,
- 5:17it will be fucking amazing for him. Oh, speaking
- 5:24of changes in the camp, AJ is bringing Usyk into
- 5:28his. And so this one, again, talking with Shinata.
- 5:32Rocky 3? Yeah, that's kind of what I was looking
- 5:37at. You're bringing your nemesis into camp because
- 5:40you lost the spark or whatever. There is no tomorrow.
- 5:48Unless you're fucking facing Dubois or Andy Ruiz.
- 5:51Oh my god. Because I was thinking AJ and Ruiz
- 5:56too. that type of AJ is something that Usyk could
- 6:01polish. True. But I don't think that style suits
- 6:06AJ. That doesn't suit his strengths. Yeah. So
- 6:13I'm not sure how this is going to play out. It
- 6:15could be just a publicity stunt. I mean, yeah,
- 6:18what can Usyk really do that no other trainer
- 6:21has done? Usyk's probably just fucking around.
- 6:24AJ was with RGBA. Ben Davidson. He had his best
- 6:30goal with Robert Garcia. Yeah. And if that was
- 6:35his best goal and he's with fucking Davidson
- 6:38now, he's cooked. I don't know what was he going
- 6:42to really train him on. Maybe he's a sparring
- 6:45partner? I mean, yeah, he's a sparring partner,
- 6:48but he's already fought him twice. I mean, yeah,
- 6:53I understand you learn from him, but I mean...
- 6:56What new word are you really going to learn from
- 6:58Usyk? What I mean is by being trained, by working
- 7:05with him. I don't think AJ is the most coachable
- 7:07either at this point. Exactly. What is he going
- 7:11to learn? Even if Usyk has the ability to adjust
- 7:18him, he won't take to being told this. You need
- 7:25to want to learn. Yeah, you have to be coachable.
- 7:30You need to be a sponge. AJ's not a sponge, he's
- 7:32a fucking rock. AJ's been... He's switched trainers,
- 7:38but really he's just looking for a level up without
- 7:42actually being coached. That's what it seems.
- 7:47The day AJ's going to be coachable is the day
- 7:49I fucking die, I'll tell you that. Who knows
- 7:54what Usyk could do, because you're bringing your
- 7:58nemesis into the camp, so it has to be a pretty
- 8:05big change of mentality to want to do that. I
- 8:09mean, yeah, but I just feel like that itself
- 8:12is just a publicity stunt just to get people
- 8:14excited. I feel like he's just watched too many
- 8:16movies. Yeah, I mean, realistically, can Usyk
- 8:21really... Best case scenario, what can you really
- 8:23do with AJ? Like I said, Ruiz 2, that version
- 8:28of AJ, that's about it. Even then, the best version
- 8:34of AJ was the two rounds he listened to Robert
- 8:36Garcia in his rematch with Usyk. That's probably
- 8:40the best AJ has ever looked. For some reason,
- 8:47he only did it for two rounds and then threw
- 8:49Robert under the bus. Yeah. I really doubt it.
- 8:56I mean, the thing is, I mean, we're saying this
- 8:58about AJ versus what we're talking about with
- 9:01Tim Zoo. The thing is that Tim Zoo, this is only
- 9:03going to be his, I think, second trainer, I believe.
- 9:07The pros. AJ's been with him. Yeah, AJ's been
- 9:12with how many trainers? How many guys has AJ
- 9:15been with? It was McCracken. Garcia, Derek James,
- 9:23Davidson. I think he's at four. How can you go
- 9:28with all these guys and not learn? That's an
- 9:31AJ problem. That's not something you can learn
- 9:34in training. It's something that he hasn't shown
- 9:38he's going to want to change. Oh, moving to Xander
- 9:46Zayas versus Abbas Baru. It's pretty much...
- 9:49It's all but certain for January, late January,
- 9:53it's going to be a unification of WBO and WBA
- 9:56titles. God, I don't have a very high opinion
- 10:02of Xander Zayas, but my opinion of him is still
- 10:06higher than Abbas Baru. Abbas Baru, I mean, I
- 10:12got to give him props for what he did last fight,
- 10:14going in as the underdog against the only notable
- 10:17MVP fighter. But the thing is that, like what
- 10:21you said, he hasn't really shown much or proven
- 10:24himself. And honestly, I'm going to be rooting
- 10:26for Baru because this is not a Mexican bias.
- 10:31I know he's not Mexican, and I'm not trying to
- 10:33hate on a Puerto Rican. I mean, I think Xander
- 10:35Zayas can be molded into a great fighter, but
- 10:37Xander Zayas being in the top -ranked protection
- 10:41program, he's not going to fight the other champions.
- 10:43He's definitely not going to fight Virgil or
- 10:45Boots. He's going to hold on to the title. Regardless
- 10:49of the top -ranked affiliation, which you've
- 10:51heard me express disdain for in the past, he's
- 10:54just not going to... Again, you've seen top -ranked
- 11:01guys who, at this point, in the present day,
- 11:04who want to move out, do, and take those fights
- 11:07that they need to, to show that they are what
- 11:12they are. Spread their wings, right? Yeah, like,
- 11:16I mean, you could even, as much as you want to
- 11:18say Giovanni Santon, before he lost to Norman,
- 11:21was a top -ranked protection guy, he fought Brian
- 11:24Norman, Brian Norman won, and instead of holding
- 11:26that shit hostage, he decided to go and fight
- 11:30Haney and go to Japan and fight. And fight. And
- 11:35Zayas is, as I fully agree with Saul here, he's
- 11:40going to take that title from Beru because Beru
- 11:42is not great. And he is going to hold it hostage
- 11:46because both Boots and Virgil likely do beat
- 11:50him. I mean, I agree with you. Don't make me
- 11:54start about Virgil, but I'm going to tell you
- 11:57this. I think Xander, the thing with Xander is
- 11:59that I see potential in the guy. I was watching
- 12:02his last fight, and you know what? If he can
- 12:04learn, first of all, he needs a better trainer.
- 12:07If he can get with someone that is in tune with
- 12:10the style. and that can fine -tune him, I think
- 12:13he would do great. I understand he doesn't have
- 12:17a lot of power, but he's pretty athletic. And
- 12:22he looks like he's got quick reflexes, or at
- 12:26least decent reflexes. He's not bad. He's a world
- 12:29champion, but he's also... WBO world champion.
- 12:34He's a world champion. Again, Baru is the weaker
- 12:37world champion at the division. Yeah, I agree.
- 12:39I agree, but at the same time, I mean, we both
- 12:42know he didn't fight a decent fighter for that.
- 12:48No, Fandora gave it up. Yeah, but he fought Garcia
- 12:52for it because it was vacant, right? Garcia Perez,
- 12:56yeah. Which, I mean, like, the fact that I don't
- 13:01mind. Like, for Zayas, it makes sense to be the
- 13:04unified champ and to be able to... I guess, hold
- 13:07that and dictate things on your term. But it's
- 13:10going to be a rotten shame that, again, we have
- 13:14two of the premier offensive talents in the sport
- 13:17who are the best in the division who do not need
- 13:21to... When they fight each other, they will not
- 13:24be fighting for a title. This reminds me a bit
- 13:27of Shane Mosley and Floyd Mayweather. When they
- 13:32fought, that was a huge fight, but that wasn't
- 13:34for a title. Obviously, it's not going to be
- 13:35as big as that fight, but it comes to mind when
- 13:38I think about it. I see the comparison. It's
- 13:40a different case. Guys will hold on to their
- 13:42titles for the Mayweather sweepstakes. Yeah.
- 13:46It's different. It's different here. 154 is becoming
- 13:51a bit of a money division because it's not unforeseen
- 13:54that the Rollies and the Ryans move up to 154.
- 14:00They ain't going to do that good up there, I'll
- 14:01tell you that. 154 is a different problem. It's
- 14:05not out of the realm of possibility that they
- 14:08just move up because all the guys are there.
- 14:14Especially with Ryan's issues with weight. The
- 14:21thing is, as much as I think Ryan can be a player
- 14:25at 147, you can clown me on this, as much as
- 14:28I think Ryan can be a player at 147, Him going
- 14:30up to 154, he's going to get annihilated by all
- 14:32the champions besides Zayas. Oh, I know. But
- 14:35that's the thing. Like, if you see the kind of
- 14:38vision, Zayas is 23. He picks up the second title,
- 14:42holds on to it, and then one of the money guys
- 14:45like Rowley or Ryan move up and you cash out
- 14:48there. I mean, yeah. Say what you will, like
- 14:53there's no cashing out against the Boots or Virgil
- 14:56just because they've been... Virgil's been stuck
- 15:00on the zone for how many years? And Boots, basically,
- 15:04he started his peak here right at the end of
- 15:07PBC. Right. So, who would you rather cash out
- 15:13against? Ryan Garcia, where you have a legitimate
- 15:15shot at winning it, too? Or get annihilated by
- 15:19Virgil or Boots for pennies? The thing is that
- 15:23I don't even see those fights getting made with
- 15:26Ryan. I feel like... Top Rank. I'm specifically
- 15:29on the case of Xander Zayas. I feel like Top
- 15:31Rank is not going to want him to fight any live
- 15:33dog at all for the next two years. And I don't
- 15:35blame him. Xander Zayas is not ready for those
- 15:38big fights yet. No. You know, but I mean, someone
- 15:41like Fundora, I agree with you because the same
- 15:44thing. I think if they're going to want to cash
- 15:46someone out, they're going to cash them against,
- 15:48you know, a cash cow. No. And I know that we
- 15:52keep talking about... I think it's the bill of
- 15:52a cash cow. That too, but... I think he fits
- 15:58the bill. Yeah. Well, they're not putting Fandora
- 16:17against live dogs either. And I don't know what
- 16:18they're doing because I live. So that division
- 16:21is being... Put to a halt. It's a little gridlock.
- 16:25Yeah, gridlock. It's kind of sad. He's fighting
- 16:31Josh Kelly. He is fighting Josh Kelly. But that's
- 16:35Josh Kelly. I'm not going to say you should fight
- 16:40down to your opponent's level, but if he's having
- 16:42trouble getting fights, take a page out of Bibble's
- 16:46book. Look human? Yeah, basically. Look lesser
- 16:53than what you are. You lure one of the guys into
- 16:56fighting you. Or their management more than the
- 16:58guy. And that's what it is. I mean, honestly,
- 17:09Mourna Zailov, he looks like a demon. He looked
- 17:13like a demon against Tim Zhu. I can't lie. If
- 17:17you saw Bivol and his HBO days, it was the same
- 17:21thing. This guy looked unbeatable, and then once
- 17:25he got in the zone and definitely slowed down,
- 17:29slowed down even more as Canelo was looking at
- 17:32another jump up. Canelo Bivol, it's a different
- 17:39Bivol than the guy who fought Craig Richards,
- 17:41clearly. Canelo didn't see that coming. Canelo
- 17:47obviously fought Bivol because he didn't want
- 17:49to fight better. And again, Bable was absolutely
- 17:52perceived as the weaker champion in the division.
- 17:55He's an easy guy to knock off. I mean, he just
- 17:57struggled with a couple British shitters. They
- 17:59considered him a cherry pick. And then, no. That's
- 18:02what I mean. But he's perceived as a cherry pick.
- 18:05And I'm not saying Bagram should fight down to
- 18:08the level of guys, but I'm saying if he looks
- 18:11like he's beatable, management might be wanting
- 18:14to take the jump on him. But to look beatable,
- 18:17you actually have to fight. He hasn't fought
- 18:18in over a year. Because right now he's fishing
- 18:21for big fights. But none of the big names are
- 18:25going to fight him. He needs to set... Go on
- 18:29a tour of Europe. You don't have to come to the
- 18:31States and fight the big guys. Go fight some
- 18:35British middle -eights. Drag up some guys from
- 18:38147. And it's honestly not even worth it to fight.
- 18:43Josh Kelly is the perfect example. Like, that's
- 18:47a perfect matchmaking if he decides to, like,
- 18:51carry Josh a little bit. I mean, I do really
- 18:54want to see Josh Kelly win that one, though.
- 18:57Just because, I mean, seeing that belt free from
- 19:02Murda Zaylov for I don't know how long he's had
- 19:04it. What, three years? Again, it's not his fault.
- 19:09It's not his fault no one wants to fight him
- 19:11either. He is the IBF. The IBF? The IBF has been
- 19:14champion for how long and he's only fought a
- 19:16couple times? Again, he can only fight who they
- 19:20put in front of him. The IBF will strip you if
- 19:22you don't fight your mandatories. They don't
- 19:23fuck around. So clearly, if he's held on, if
- 19:26he hits the WBC, you can run forever. Yeah. Oh
- 19:30yeah, 100%. But it's the IBF. It's the IBF. Which
- 19:33means no one wants to fight him. If you're getting
- 19:38no fights with the IBF, it means no one's there.
- 19:44I mean, they had Lubin, but they didn't want
- 19:46to pay for that. Again, the IBF will force a
- 19:51first bid. They make you fight. It's not a matter
- 19:54of... So what happened to that Lubin fight? I'm
- 19:57genuinely curious what happened to that Lubin
- 19:58fight. He opted for Ortiz instead. He opted for
- 20:02Virgil. Virgil, again, at least... Again, perception.
- 20:10It's important. Virgil just struggled with Boachuk,
- 20:15and the perception, again, is that he hasn't
- 20:20had a knockout at 154. He kind of struggled with
- 20:24Madrimov and Boachuk. Or you have a guy who just,
- 20:28like, nuked Tim Zhu. And then we'll talk about
- 20:34it on the next pod, but... The choice probably
- 20:38could have been better made. If you're Lubin,
- 20:43who is a guy who, out of everything, your chin
- 20:47and durability are not your strong points, who
- 20:53do you take? The guy with no knockouts at 154?
- 20:56The guy who put Tim Zhu from arguably a top three
- 21:03guy at the weight class into... Obscurity, basically.
- 21:08Back to the Australians? Oh, yeah. Yeah. I mean,
- 21:11oh, yeah, I agree with you. You're right. Marzallo
- 21:13is a lose -lose situation because if you beat
- 21:15him... Not a lot of recognition for it. Yeah,
- 21:18exactly. But if you lose to him, you're going
- 21:20to be sent back to obscurity. And the thing is
- 21:23that you beat him. It's probably going to be
- 21:26a close, grindy fight. And now, guess what? People
- 21:30want to fight you for the IBF title. Now there's
- 21:35mandatories in line. Or you lose and you never
- 21:40fucking fight anybody good again. Yeah. If it
- 21:45were any other belt, I would be like, okay, yeah,
- 21:49this guy's not fighting on purpose, but it's
- 21:51the IBF. No, yeah, I agree with you, yeah. Like,
- 21:55Pandora's not fighting anybody. He's fighting...
- 21:57He has the WBC, though, so he can... Listen,
- 22:02man, Keith Thurman is more competitive than Adonis
- 22:06Stevenson's title reign. I mean, yeah, I understand
- 22:10why they're putting up guys against fucking Pandora,
- 22:13but at the same time, yeah, Virgil, I can go
- 22:17over a million times, but I mean, Virgil's an
- 22:22interim champion. I understand that's not a mandatory,
- 22:23but he is ranked highly. Yeah, they have to call
- 22:26the mandatory. I get it. And the thing is that,
- 22:29I mean, we looked it up at the beginning of the
- 22:31day. The number one guy besides Virgil is a Frenchman
- 22:36from, obviously, France. But what was his name?
- 22:40Like, Wilshack? Zachary Samaki? Yeah, yeah, Samaki,
- 22:44Samaki, yeah. Like, I mean... He's got the WBC
- 22:49silver, I think. Yeah. I understand that, you
- 22:52know, he's ranked number one here. I guess he
- 22:54earned his way to the top, but... I mean, I...
- 22:57I don't know if you guys know who he is, but
- 22:58I don't. Oh, no. I don't. I've never seen him
- 23:02before. No, I know. It's a matter of some guys
- 23:05play the rankings game. And again, here's the
- 23:11negative of languishing on the zone for your
- 23:13whole career. You, on your own, don't command
- 23:17enough, I guess, attention to be able to make
- 23:23those rankings move. Especially with the WBC.
- 23:28They see dollar signs. I mean, not just... It's
- 23:33more profitable to milk... It's more profitable
- 23:35to milk Fundora for more stuff than for Virgil
- 23:40to be the new guy. But one thing you're missing
- 23:43out here is also not just going to DAZN. It's
- 23:46siding with a shitty promoter as well. But I
- 23:51mean, the thing is that if Goldenboy... If Goldenboy...
- 23:56Like, back when they were with HBO for a bit,
- 23:58right? They're on HBO. You watch him on HBO,
- 24:04he gets a profile there. I'm saying, like, the
- 24:07promoter is irrelevant if you're languishing
- 24:08on DAZN. He could have been with Matchroom or,
- 24:11like, whatever. And still, the problem is the
- 24:13same. You're on DAZN. You don't have enough attention
- 24:16to be able to make those rankings budge. There's
- 24:20no upside to you winning this title over Fundora.
- 24:23So you have the hard way up through the rankings.
- 24:27I'm curious. I don't know if you guys know this.
- 24:29What's Virgil's contract with Goldenboy and maybe
- 24:33DAZN? I don't know if he has a personal contract
- 24:35with DAZN, but what's his contract like? Because
- 24:38I still question why the hell he's still with
- 24:41Goldenboy. Let me see. Goldenboy contract. Because
- 24:48honestly, anybody else would have managed him
- 24:50better. We'll talk about him more in the next
- 24:54one. Yeah, we'll talk about him more next week.
- 24:57Yeah, I mean, the reason he's not finding any
- 24:59big names is also because he's not being managed
- 25:01right. He's not being promoted right. Yeah, again,
- 25:06Golden Boy doesn't have anyone to really put
- 25:09him in with. Yeah. Like, it just is. Like I'm
- 25:16pretty sure their big name was the most like
- 25:18the bigger bigger little step -up fight for him
- 25:21But 147 was gonna be Alexis Rocha, but Rocha
- 25:24never got up to that Kevin just didn't line up.
- 25:27He kept losing I mean he's still 147 the fight
- 25:31probably could have been him versus Ryan him
- 25:33versus rolling maybe but No, he he moved up.
- 25:37He moved up It would have been Rocha for the
- 25:41in -house, like, this is the future, but very
- 25:44clearly it became Virgil. It did not help that
- 25:48Michael McKinson held up his career. That was
- 25:55a good use of his time. That fight was both a
- 25:59waste of his fucking time, and it had to get
- 26:01rescheduled. A lot of times. First, you know.
- 26:08That was a waste of Stan Jonas' time. Well, is
- 26:13that really the fault of Virgil, though? If you
- 26:17can't make the weight, don't re -sign the fight
- 26:20repeatedly. Like, it wasn't his fault. I'll give
- 26:25him the benefit of the doubt the first two times.
- 26:29But, like, by the third time it falls through,
- 26:32like... Yeah, three is a pattern. Three is like
- 26:38you should have moved up a while ago. You're
- 26:41just wasting everyone's time. That's also kind
- 26:44of why he fell under the radar for a while. His
- 26:47career is... Again, that's what I mean. He doesn't
- 26:52command the attention. Unfortunately, he's got
- 26:56to earn it. Boots is at a pretty similar crossroads
- 27:01because again... his window of commanding attention
- 27:06was like, it's like right at the end of PBC and
- 27:08now he's with Eddie Hearn. Yeah. I mean, you
- 27:12have to fight each other. That's next week, though.
- 27:15Yes. Let's keep moving. Back to the original
- 27:18point about Zayas versus Abu. Yeah, Zayas -Baru.
- 27:21The original point. Abu. I want to see that fight,
- 27:25but I want to see Baru win just to not have a
- 27:28top -ranked fighter hold those titles for years.
- 27:30Yeah. Zayas is going to hold that shit hostage.
- 27:33Yeah, I mean, that's the final take, is that
- 27:34he's going to hold us hostage, and we're not
- 27:35going to have him. It's a WBO and WBA. It's not
- 27:37happening. Yeah. Oh, you know, speaking of holding
- 27:41hostage, Tank is in legal trouble again. Tank
- 27:46versus Jake is off. Tank... What a loss for the
- 27:50sport, by the way. Was assaulted a young lady
- 27:55that was a cocktail waitress at a strip club.
- 27:59He was assaulting her over the course of several
- 28:02months. He kidnapped her. Doesn't necessarily
- 28:08mean that he put a gun to her head and threw
- 28:10her in a car trunk, but he did strong -arm take
- 28:15her away from where she was against her will.
- 28:19We need to hold these men accountable. Seriously,
- 28:22this is completely fucked up. We're beyond...
- 28:26The way the others... You had plausible deniability
- 28:29with how they got dismissed or whatever, but...
- 28:32You really – this is beyond a pattern at this
- 28:40point. It's – I mean, the first time – there's
- 28:45literally a video of him holding his – putting
- 28:48his hand on a woman's neck and holding it and
- 28:51strangling her in a fucking basketball game,
- 28:53nonetheless, in the public, okay? I mean, imagine
- 28:57– he's comfortable doing that. In person, what
- 29:00the hell is he doing in private, you know? Someone's
- 29:02going to end up dead. What the fuck is wrong
- 29:03with this dude? Yeah, someone's going to end
- 29:05up dead because he's not being checked. Shanada
- 29:09said that he would benefit from jail time. Like,
- 29:11that's the type of thing that would straighten
- 29:13him out. He should fucking rot in jail for what
- 29:15he's doing. It's just, like, the jail time would
- 29:20benefit him. Like, there just needs to be some
- 29:21consequence. I feel like at every point, his
- 29:24boxing talent and star power has just bailed
- 29:28him out. And the yes men. So it keeps escalating.
- 29:33Ergo, it keeps escalating. Yeah. Because, again,
- 29:36like, you keep pushing the line. You keep pushing
- 29:39the line. And nobody acknowledges it around him.
- 29:43Nobody in the sport is acknowledging that this
- 29:45man is doing terrible things. You know? How many
- 29:51of the biggest box analysts, like, have you seen
- 29:55Mike Coppinger? rectify this? Not rectify, what's
- 29:59the word? Just talk about it. Yeah, just talk
- 30:03about it in general. Have you seen him talk about
- 30:04it? No. These big analysts haven't spoken about
- 30:08it because they know he's the cash cow. The big
- 30:12analysts, they risk no longer having access to
- 30:18the fighter, but the thing is that they also
- 30:22end up risking nothing because you can cover
- 30:24the sport the same way. Exactly. If they have
- 30:28a coordinated effort, you know? And the thing
- 30:31is, I got to give props to Sean to tell because
- 30:33that man don't give a damn. He's the only one
- 30:36I've seen that has talked about it. Everybody
- 30:39else, silent. Not even other boxers have put
- 30:43this. Other boxers, it's whatever. You don't...
- 30:48Yeah, it's kind of a silent... Not a gentleman's
- 30:52agreement because there's nothing gentlemanly
- 30:54about it, but it's kind of like... You don't
- 30:56start bringing up legal troubles because, like,
- 30:58then you just... You end up pointing fingers
- 31:01at everyone. Yeah. Like... Implicit agreement?
- 31:06If you go... Like, it's a... Like, what do you
- 31:12say if, like... Unsaid agreement. Yeah, unspoken.
- 31:14Yeah, it's a very unspoken agreement about that.
- 31:18Because, like, what's the... There's no benefit.
- 31:23And you're just going to have whatever your dirty
- 31:25laundry is or your trainer's dirty laundry or
- 31:27whatever. Like, let's say Haney Tank happens
- 31:31and you start throwing shit at Tank about the
- 31:35domestic abuse and then he gets shit back for
- 31:38suing Ryan and working with Snack all these years.
- 31:42And his dad being a pimp. Is that what he got
- 31:49in trouble for? I didn't know that. Yeah, like,
- 31:53Devin's dad is a pimp, and then he works with,
- 31:56well, worked, because Victor Conte is dead and
- 31:59buried. Oh, we gotta talk about that too. But
- 32:04you get the point, right? Like, everyone either
- 32:08is or has someone, and it's just, it's a waste
- 32:13of time, and honestly, it's not even trash talk.
- 32:17You're just tearing down the value of the fight.
- 32:21Like, for the average fan, if one is a, like,
- 32:26if both guys are reprehensible, you can't even
- 32:29justify paying the ticket. So, I can't blame
- 32:35other boxers for not speaking out, but on the
- 32:38journalists who risk almost nothing, it's kind
- 32:40of brutal. It's kind of their job to talk about
- 32:42this stuff. Maybe they shouldn't be fucking pussies
- 32:45and talk about the damn landscape of the scene.
- 32:48I mean, come on. I mean, this is what we're here
- 32:51for. No one's really going to look at us and
- 32:53be like, oh yeah, they can't go to a fucking
- 32:55our press conference. Are you going to threaten
- 32:58me? Yeah, what the fuck? Yeah, threaten us and
- 33:03our fucking listeners? Like, come on. Fuck you.
- 33:07We'll talk about it. This is our damn job. Tank
- 33:10is a piece of fucking garbage. That's really
- 33:13all there is to it. I'm going to say it right
- 33:16now. Tank stuff was happening and like... I will
- 33:20call out Fat Dan, but Fat Dan is out here talking
- 33:23about the WBA. WBA, WBA. The WBA regular. He's
- 33:30complaining about Cletus Seldon in the year 2025
- 33:33instead of talking about the actual news and
- 33:37then having conspiracies about how it wasn't
- 33:40selling. I mean, honestly, I genuinely feel like
- 33:45the WBA should strip Tank right now. Not because
- 33:48of... Of this incident. But because it's not
- 33:52going to allow them to fight for a while. Again.
- 33:55This is going to be slipped under the rug. They're
- 33:58going to settle out of court. It's going to be
- 34:01slipped under the rug. And Tank's going to be
- 34:02back. And it sucks. It's sad. It's just because
- 34:08there's no optics. There's no optics nightmare.
- 34:12Again. We rewarded Rowley. For being a serial
- 34:20sex pest. Like, Roley's funny and he makes money,
- 34:27so you rewarded him with repeated title shots.
- 34:34For sucking at boxing and being a sex pest. So,
- 34:38Hank, who is far, far more of a match fighter.
- 34:44Yeah, like... Well, that's going to happen. I
- 34:52don't know, man. I just genuinely think that
- 34:54the amount of times that Tank's done this and
- 34:58ruined fights, I don't know. I generally think
- 35:02he's got to get stripped. And honestly, he's
- 35:05not even sounding like he's going to want to
- 35:07fight again. So why even have him as a champion?
- 35:09That's holding up a division. But you know how
- 35:12guys send out the WBAs with their fighters, especially
- 35:14with the PBC as well. They won't do that for
- 35:18fucking right till the end of next year. He doesn't
- 35:21fight still. And that's being that's being generous.
- 35:25WBA is just as bad as the WBC. Yeah. But overall,
- 35:33Tank, do better, man. And the thing is, it's
- 35:37funny because we said this the last time, too.
- 35:39We wish the best. We wish the best for Tank and
- 35:41hopefully he got like we would get through it
- 35:43and that he could like find help. Yeah, get help.
- 35:45There's no help in this, man. Yeah, not anymore.
- 35:47There's no help. Twice in one year is fucking
- 35:50crazy. It's not, it's not, it's a pattern. Like
- 35:53what we were saying, it is a fucking pattern.
- 35:56Hmm. Ugh. Well, let's leave that there. Um, tank,
- 36:05we, we need to do better and hold, try, something
- 36:11needs to change. And this guy needs to be held
- 36:14accountable. Let's move into our recaps here.
- 36:19Fucking ironic, maybe, but Michaela Mayer versus
- 36:24Mary Spencer at the top -ranked card at the Casino
- 36:28de Montreal. Only two fights that I picked up
- 36:32off of this one were Arthur B. Arslanov getting
- 36:34the UD over Sergey Lipinets. He did have Sergey
- 36:38Lipinets at his mercy. pretty much the entire
- 36:41time and he wasn't able to get the finish. It
- 36:44was kind of weird. I don't know if you guys remember
- 36:47this one. Not too much. It kind of fell on my
- 36:53head. That's alright. The main one I want to
- 36:57put on I already posted the article about it.
- 37:00It wasn't televised apparently even though it
- 37:04was rather interesting. Logan Cloutier. Cloutier,
- 37:14yeah. Beating Thomas Chabot by a unanimous decision,
- 37:19dropping him once in the process. We're probably
- 37:23going to see him on some more undercards going
- 37:26forward because he's kind of out of Canadian
- 37:29opposition. Where does he go from here? Because
- 37:34this was Eye of the Tiger, right? Yeah. The thing
- 37:39is that, like, he's, uh, Chabot had a ranking
- 37:42somewhere. Like, Chabot was supposed to be the,
- 37:46the, like, Canadian guy at, uh, 130. Not no more.
- 37:55So, not anymore. He was the favorite into entering
- 37:59the fight and everything, apparently, too, which
- 38:00is interesting. But, um, no, I think, genuinely,
- 38:05like, it's time to give the step up. They probably
- 38:07won't. Because it's either Tiger and Canadian
- 38:11fighters will languish until age 35 and it's
- 38:14too late sometimes. But especially at 130, I
- 38:20think now is the time to really pick a belt,
- 38:25get up the rankings quickly, and give it a go.
- 38:30Yeah, we'll talk about it next time, but there's
- 38:32the big unification coming up. The avenues to
- 38:39a title are getting smaller. Yeah, especially
- 38:42because he's 30. I will say he's definitely a
- 38:46talent to watch at 130, but he's also 30 years
- 38:48old. Yeah, pick a lady. He's got to pick a belt,
- 38:54get a move on. But I think, at the very least,
- 38:57he can be a very competent world -ranked guy,
- 38:59if not a titlist. Oh, rounding off the card,
- 39:05Michaela Mayer gets the UD over Mary Spencer.
- 39:08I believe Mary Spencer held the WBA super welterweight
- 39:13title, and then the WBC and IBF were added to
- 39:17it as vacant titles. I think that's what it was,
- 39:21but I just remember two extras were tacked on.
- 39:25So Michaela Mayer, unified 154 -pound champ.
- 39:29Congrats. Oh, moving to Saturday, November 1st.
- 39:39Queensberry at the Co -op Live Arena in Manchester,
- 39:42England. Fucking Lyndon Arthur pulls out the
- 39:47majority decision over Bradley Ray. Fun fact,
- 39:50this guy's name, Bradley, spelled Raya. That's
- 39:54the name for the large birds, like ostriches
- 39:57and emus. That's pretty funny. Shinata told me
- 40:02about that. Probably the best part of the fight.
- 40:04It's a fun fact, actually. It's pretty good.
- 40:07Hey, the best part of the fight was Lyndon Arthur
- 40:08getting dropped. In the second round. Yeah. I
- 40:13thought he did really well to come back, though.
- 40:15He boxed really soundly, worked intelligently
- 40:18behind a jab. The jab was not missing at all.
- 40:22That had Bradley on his haunches pretty much
- 40:27the whole time in the second half. Bouncing that
- 40:32Bradley ball around the court. Bradley Big Bird.
- 40:37Fried the bird, you know? And Joshua Boazzi also
- 40:42gets the majority decision over Zach Parker.
- 40:45I was... On paper, he got it. Yeah, I was going
- 40:50to say, I'm not too sure that's how it played
- 40:53out in the ring, but... Yeah. This fight was
- 40:59a stinker. It's not worth watching to score it.
- 41:02Just take the word for it. Yeah. Zack Parker
- 41:07got the dub in our hearts. Yeah. Realistically,
- 41:13they're probably going to rematch because they
- 41:15haven't earned shit, neither of them. Especially
- 41:21at a pretty log -jammed light heavyweight division.
- 41:24Yeah. They're probably going to end up rematching
- 41:29each other, and then hopefully we get a less
- 41:31controversial winner out of that. Or not. They
- 41:34can fight each other forever, honestly. They
- 41:38go by Morel. Maybe win. They're not winning against
- 41:42Morel, I fear. No, they won't. And moving on
- 41:49to the last card of the day, Matchroom at the
- 41:52Caribbean Royale, Orlando, Florida. Some quick
- 41:56ones. Nishant Dev gets the UD over Juan Carlos
- 42:00Campos Medina. Pat Brown with a fucking, certainly
- 42:06a knockout of all time over Felix Valera. Yoelvis
- 42:13Gomez pulls out the split draw versus Entrevious
- 42:15Ingram. And another fight of all time, Lanier
- 42:21Pero versus Jordan Thompson. Lanier gets the
- 42:24UD. It was a fight. These were all some of the
- 42:32fights of all time. I really wonder how this
- 42:34sold tickets. I bet they comp a lot of them at
- 42:41the resort. The resort, you can definitely give
- 42:46a lot of them away. Like what they do in Lackleby,
- 42:49they give them away or they give. What they usually
- 42:51do at Likely Me for the Eye of the Tiger cards
- 42:53is they give you, like, a bonus at the slots
- 42:58or whatever. Oh, buy a ticket and you'll get,
- 43:01like, $100 in chips. Here's a credit. Here's
- 43:03a betting money. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. That's
- 43:07what they do a lot at Likely Me. It's a resort.
- 43:10That's smart because they're going to make that
- 43:12money back. Exactly. Yeah, like, they comp it
- 43:14at the restaurant. Here's a, like, $50 voucher.
- 43:17Go drive yourself nuts at the restaurant or whatever.
- 43:22But that's all we got in the recaps. Unless you
- 43:25guys have anything I missed? All right. Let me
- 43:32put some notes in here really quick. The social
- 43:35media handle, LVX Media Net, all one word. If
- 43:39you can't find us, chances are we don't have
- 43:40an account there. If you want us to have an account
- 43:43there, let me know and I'll get it spun up. Wherever
- 43:46you're listening, hit us with a rating. Helps
- 43:48push us up the search algorithm. And if you're
- 43:50feeling extra, a review would not go amiss. We
- 43:54made a reference to it with Logan Clothier. The
- 43:58written content, lvx .be slash wayside. Josh,
- 44:03what did you just put out? We just put one out
- 44:04a few minutes ago. Just put one out on Boots
- 44:08and Ortiz, something we'll talk about more next
- 44:11week. Yeah. So if you want to get ahead of the
- 44:14game, go check that out. I'm going to be having
- 44:17a piece come out soon as well. Ooh, what do you
- 44:20got in the chute? Well, I want to spoil it yet,
- 44:25but it's got to do something with the 160 -pound
- 44:27division. All right. So you guys should look
- 44:30out for that, too. Got stuff coming down the
- 44:32pipe. My first time making an article, so it
- 44:35might not be as good as the experience Joshua,
- 44:38but, you know, it'll be something. It'll be an
- 44:41article of all time, so there you go. It will
- 44:44certainly be an article. All right, let's break
- 44:47real quick. When you grab a bag of jerky, what
- 44:51are you really eating? If you look at the ingredients,
- 44:54it's a confusing list of chemicals, sugars, preservatives,
- 44:57and things you can't even pronounce. But it doesn't
- 45:00have to be this way. Meat Grazely. It's a simple
- 45:03question, really. What does beef jerky need to
- 45:06be great? And the answer? It's meat and salt.
- 45:10That's it. Grazely takes high quality, whole
- 45:14muscle beef, seasons it with just the right amount
- 45:16of natural salt, no nitrates, no sugars, no weird
- 45:20spices to hide poor quality. Just the bold, pure
- 45:23flavor of real meat. Grazely is the ultimate
- 45:26fuel for life. For your hikes, post -workout,
- 45:30protein, or the daily commute. When you want
- 45:33protein without the junk, reach for the bag that
- 45:36keeps it simple, honest, and delicious. Go to
- 45:39lvx .be slash grazely to get yourself a nice
- 45:42little discount while helping us out a little
- 45:44bit too. That's lvx .be slash grazely. Two ingredients,
- 45:52zero compromises. Dandruff doesn't just affect
- 45:56your hair, it chips away at your confidence.
- 45:59But I'm here to tell you, it doesn't have to
- 46:01be this way. It's time to say bye to flakes with
- 46:03flakes. Flakes isn't a scented wash you get from
- 46:06the grocery store that just masks the problem.
- 46:09It's a powerful, medically formulated treatment
- 46:12designed to get to the root of the toughest dandruff.
- 46:15Flakes works fast to control the flaking, calm
- 46:18the itching, and soothe the redness that's on
- 46:20your scalp. And here's another pro tip. Flakes
- 46:24will also help with that stubborn beard gruff
- 46:26if you have that too. Imagine feeling completely
- 46:29free to wear whatever you want, whenever you
- 46:31want to. Imagine just focusing on your day and
- 46:34not on your scalp. That's the difference that
- 46:36flakes makes. Go to lvx .be slash flakes for
- 46:40a nice little discount while you help us out
- 46:42a little bit in the process. Don't settle for
- 46:45temporary fixes that smell like the produce section
- 46:47of your grocery store. Fight back with a shampoo
- 46:50that dermatologists trust. lvx .be slash flakes.
- 46:56Do you have that nagging feeling of being exposed
- 46:58when you're online? In today's world, a simple
- 47:01antivirus isn't enough. Your digital life, your
- 47:05photos, your bank accounts, your family's privacy,
- 47:07it all needs more than just a basic firewall.
- 47:10You need Malwarebytes. Malwarebytes is your complete

- 47:56slash mwb. And now, previews. We got two cards.
- 48:05First one I want to get through is the top -ranked
- 48:08card. This one's going to be on ESPN Knockout
- 48:10at the Arena Coliseo, the Coliseum Arena, San
- 48:16Luis Potosi in Mexico. Starting the card from
- 48:22the bottom up, Julian Montalvo versus Nicolas
- 48:26Patron. Richard Torres versus Tomas Salek. That's
- 48:32fun. Richard Torres is always a fun night out.
- 48:36Can he fight someone who isn't? 411th on BoxRec.
- 48:43Hey, 407th. Oh, excuse me. Put some respect on
- 48:47his name, man. The fourth ranked Chechen fighter
- 48:50on BoxRec. One of the best guys in the country.
- 48:58Disappointing. Emiliano Vargas versus Jonathan
- 49:03Montrell. My king. My king, Emiliano. This is
- 49:11another. He's a young man working his way up.
- 49:14I don't care. It's a 10 -round fight. He's really
- 49:19stepping up. He doesn't. I don't mind the lack
- 49:23of step up here. Great step up fight for him.
- 49:27There's more offensive ones such as the Olympic
- 49:29silver medalist who refuses to fight guys ranked
- 49:33in the top 100. I generally wonder when they're
- 49:40going to put him against a live dog. I mean,
- 49:42Guido was a pretty good fighter. Guido counts.
- 49:45Guido technically counts, but also that's the
- 49:47whole point of Guido. Yeah, is that he's supposed
- 49:50to technically count. He's supposed to give you
- 49:53some rounds as a top -ranked guy. Yeah. Lindolfo
- 50:00Delgado versus Gabriel Goyas Valenzuela. This
- 50:05is a 12 -rounder. We talked about it a couple
- 50:08times before. Yes, we have mentioned Lindolfo
- 50:10before. He's a top -runner. Valenzuela. Oh, have
- 50:15we? Yeah. We've talked about Valenzuela a couple
- 50:20times. I remember his name. When he fought Gabriel
- 50:24Matias. Yeah, when he fought Matias. That was
- 50:26when we talked about him. And more glaringly,
- 50:30the loss to Montana Love. Yeah, that's the one
- 50:36that you look at and you're like, eww. Yeah,
- 50:39that's a little ugly. Yeah, a little bit. That's
- 50:42embarrassing. Maybe this guy is a no -hoper.
- 50:46I mean, it's a top -ranked card. That being said,
- 50:50I will say... The commentary is going to be so
- 50:54good on this card because it's ESPN KO. You got
- 50:57the Mexican commentators. It's going to be good.
- 51:03Have faith. And topping it off, Rafael Espinoza,
- 51:08WBO featherweight champion versus Arnold Kegai.
- 51:14Where do I know Kegai? Kegai is ninth in the
- 51:18WBO rankings. He had a fight with Joe Gonzalez
- 51:21that he lost by split decision earlier this year.
- 51:25He fought Laborio Solis in Germany? And in 2020,
- 51:30Stephen Fulton UD'd him pretty convincingly.
- 51:35That's where I know him. He's young, but as a
- 51:42champion, like what we keep saying. He's 31.
- 51:46He's for featherweight? Wait, wait, wait, hold
- 51:49on. He's 31? Espinoza? Yeah, he's 31. He's 31,
- 51:55so he's getting there for Featherweight. Oh,
- 52:00hell no, dude. That's... 31 is a little too...
- 52:03Yeah, no, he shouldn't be... He should be doing
- 52:06better than this. Yeah. Yes. There's better guys
- 52:10at Featherweight. And he's a good fighter, too.
- 52:15Especially cuz it's not like it's a money division
- 52:17like guys should be fighting each other That's
- 52:24ridiculous honestly never mind I take back what
- 52:26I said Who was I thinking of that's 26? Oh, you
- 52:30know, I think I'm thinking about my team Angela
- 52:32Leo Yes, I'm thinking Angela Leo. That's that's
- 52:37ridiculous. Dude both Richard Torres and Raphael
- 52:39Espinosa I can't judge Espinoza that much. He
- 52:45has beaten Robesio Ramirez for a title. He beat
- 52:48a legitimate titlist at the division. But who
- 52:52are these guys that he's defending against? Yeah,
- 52:56that's real conceited. I'm saying at the very
- 53:02least, he earned his title. He definitely earned
- 53:06his title against Rabiz Ramirez. I'm just saying
- 53:09it's a little weird. 126 is always a little weird.
- 53:11No fights happen until a surprise contender pops
- 53:16onto the scene. We'll see what happens. That
- 53:22division is going to light up when Inoue goes
- 53:25up. Inoue and Nakatani coming up is absolutely...
- 53:29Big brattle. Yeah. Any division they go to is
- 53:34going to be better. That's the kiss of death.
- 53:36Those two are going to blitz every champion in
- 53:38the 126. They're going to give Narcan to that
- 53:42division, man. I'll tell you that. Like, Nick
- 53:44Ball's getting his head sent into the... He's
- 53:47going to throw a roll by Inoue. Maybe not murder
- 53:51him, but... Nick the Wrecking Ball 5 -2 is getting
- 53:56sent into the stands by Inoue, I fear. Was it
- 54:00on this pod that I mentioned we had that discussion
- 54:03about Nick Ball in any way? I believe we've talked
- 54:07about it before, yes. I think that Nick Ball
- 54:11has a higher chance of hurting in a way than
- 54:15most of the fighters he's fought. By kicking
- 54:19him? Yeah, by kicking him. Going up another weight
- 54:27division. He can make or break you, you know.
- 54:30He's already been knocked down twice. And at
- 54:33126. I will say by far, by more competent operators,
- 54:37they've always been flash knockdowns from big
- 54:39counters. I don't think Nick Ball, especially
- 54:45because they're counters when Inouye's coming
- 54:47forward. It's not like a guy's going into Inouye
- 54:50and knocking him down. Yeah, that's true. That's
- 54:52a different issue of durability. Inouye walked
- 54:55into it and... Inouye gets walked into a big
- 54:59shot by a competent... Which is not going to
- 55:04happen with Ball. Ball doesn't have those wrinkles
- 55:09to be able to walk Inouye into a shot. We'll
- 55:13talk about it a little more next week. Inouye's
- 55:18going to be fighting Picasso. Every time Inouye
- 55:20fights a Mexican fighter, it's always that one
- 55:24punch. The one punch that puts it down. Same
- 55:27thing. If Ball had any semblance of craft, he
- 55:31wouldn't have needed to start throwing and kicking
- 55:35guys. He wouldn't have to rely on his other body
- 55:39parts in his fucking fists. Yeah. That's what
- 55:43I'll say. Other card that day. Matchroom at the
- 55:51Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. Oh, shit.
- 55:57From the bottom up, Mikey Talon versus Fezzan
- 56:00Shahid. Super flyweights. Richard Reakpour versus
- 56:05Tommy Welch at heavy. Sam Gilley versus Ishmael
- 56:10Davis at super welterweight. Jack Catterall versus
- 56:15Ekau Essouman at welter. Adam Azeem versus Kurt
- 56:20Scooby. That's super lightweight. I'm excited
- 56:25for this one. That's going to be a really good
- 56:27one, I think. Was Scooby that Jake Paul prospect,
- 56:33or was he the overtime guy? Overtime. O -T -X.
- 56:37Overtime, O -T -X. I was going to say, no, no,
- 56:39Ashton Silvey was the Jake Paul one. He was the
- 56:41most valuable. Yeah, the MVP one. Okay. And headlining,
- 56:46Chris Eubank Jr. Rematching Connor Benn. 12 -rounder.
- 56:52I'm assuming they're doing it again at middleweight.
- 56:54but I'm not 100 % sure. Jesus Christ. I think,
- 56:59honestly, that it's going to be not as good as
- 57:02the first, but it'll still be a decent scrap.
- 57:06It's a decent undercard as far as, like, Brit
- 57:08stuff goes. Yeah, like, actually, I find Adam
- 57:12Azeem and Kurt Scooby more intriguing. I agree.
- 57:18I need Jack Ketterall to stop fighting. I can't
- 57:22believe he's following through with a threat
- 57:24to fight. I'll say this, though. I really want
- 57:28to see Jack Cotterill fight just because of his
- 57:31association with Bozy Ennis. We get to see how
- 57:35good Bozy is? Oh, my God. I'm calling you right
- 57:39now, Kate. Are we fraud -checking Bozy Ennis?
- 57:47Jack Cotterill. actually learns from Bozy Edis,
- 57:52he might just be a problem. Man, if he just turns
- 57:55in the boots at us overnight because of Bozy,
- 57:57like, I'm throwing in the towel. Like, that's...
- 57:59I'm crying, dude. I'm crying and I'm creaming
- 58:02at the same time. That's crazy. That'd be crazy.
- 58:07Jack Catterall comes out of the Philly Shell.
- 58:10I will, like, lay down the line for her. Philly
- 58:13Shell, like, just has a chin now and power and
- 58:16athleticism and just... Oh my god. That'd be
- 58:21hilarious. And you know, Triple G had that Mexican
- 58:24style. Philly style. The Philly cat. I don't
- 58:30know what's funnier. If he looks really good
- 58:35or if he just looks horrendous and comes out
- 58:37with the silly shell. Like the Ryan Garcia silly
- 58:40shell. Both would be hilarious. Oh, man. I had
- 58:51a thing. I was talking with Shanada. I'm going
- 58:55to be at this. I'm going. I'll be in the crowd
- 58:59for this one. I'll be one of the two people cheering
- 59:02for Kurt Scooby. Yeah. I got to get my sweet
- 59:08Caroline in. I'm going to beat your ass, dude.
- 59:10I'm going to beat your fucking ass. I'm supporting
- 59:13Kurt Scooby. Oh, my God. Imagine. Azim should
- 59:20win, for the record. He totally should. He should.
- 59:23He's a decent prospect. I think he's a contender
- 59:28at this point at 140. It's kind of like beating
- 59:33Sergey Litvinets at 140, like in his actual weight
- 59:36class. Yeah, that's not bad. That's a good one.
- 59:41And 140 is very top -heavy. I feel like if he
- 59:55looks good with Kurt Scobie, it's going to go
- 59:58into one of the titles that is starting to free
- 1:00:01up. What else do we have on the docket? Chris
- 1:00:10Eubank and Conor Benn. Is there really much more
- 1:00:12to say? It's probably not going to be as good
- 1:00:15as the first. Here are the words. Two bums. Two
- 1:00:18bums. Two bums. Neither guy is going to win a
- 1:00:25world title. And honestly, they might just rematch
- 1:00:29each other for the next four years until Eubank
- 1:00:32retires. The fight I... Chris Eubank training
- 1:00:38with... with Bomak. That's going to be interesting.
- 1:00:42We've seen what happened before with Chris Eubank.
- 1:00:45Bomak, that was a little nasty. We'll see what
- 1:00:48happens. I'm also interested in that. It's just
- 1:00:51Eubank's going to show up emaciated again, and
- 1:00:55he's not going to have the leg strength to be
- 1:00:58able to finish Conor Benn. You know what? It
- 1:01:07doesn't help that he wears those fucking winning
- 1:01:09gloves, like the winning pillows every damn fight.
- 1:01:14Eubank does? Eubank does. His hands cannot be
- 1:01:18that shop -worn that he can't put on some Mexican
- 1:01:20leather and actually hurt Ben. I mean, at least
- 1:01:25put on some grants. Come on. Yeah, like, some
- 1:01:28grants or some rivals. Like, you don't even,
- 1:01:30like, I'm not saying put on some Reyes. Like,
- 1:01:31at least some Everlasts. Yeah. Winnings? The
- 1:01:37only person that I know of that wears winnings
- 1:01:41is Inouye. Partly brand sponsorship, I expect.
- 1:01:47Hank knocked out Leo Santa Cruz with a pair of
- 1:01:53winnings on. Goodness gracious. That knockout
- 1:01:57was with a pair of winnings on. Sent him to the
- 1:02:01Shadow Realm with them? Yeah. So, that's what
- 1:02:05I mean. There's two guys who can actually punch
- 1:02:07with power with a pair of winnings on. And Eubank
- 1:02:12is neither of them. So, like, I think, like,
- 1:02:18just put on some real gloves, man. It's like,
- 1:02:20like, especially if Eddie Hearn's going to block
- 1:02:23your ambulance. Like, you want to be in and out
- 1:02:26of there quickly. Do we think Eddie blocks the
- 1:02:31ambulance again? No, I don't think he'll do it
- 1:02:35again. Again? That was probably the best. The
- 1:02:41first fight was good, but I'm saying in terms
- 1:02:43of actual boxing consequences following the fight,
- 1:02:47that was the funniest. You guys seen The Dark
- 1:02:50Knight? That's what Eddie's gonna do to the hospital.
- 1:02:59Evacuate it so it can be blown up? Yep. Just
- 1:03:03to not have Chris Eubank get to a fucking the
- 1:03:08nearest hospital. Yeah. Jesus. Oh well. Two bums.
- 1:03:18Two bums. They're never going to win a world
- 1:03:20title. Three bums. Howard Foster. Is Howard Foster
- 1:03:26refereeing this fight? I don't even know. I'm
- 1:03:28just saying some bullshit. That would be... I'm
- 1:03:33going to check, see if it's been announced. I'm
- 1:03:35going to check. That would be funny, though.
- 1:03:39Chris Eubank. Victor Law. Nope, that's the first
- 1:03:44one. Let's see. I don't see one. If it's Howard
- 1:03:50Foster, that's actually crazy. I predicted it.
- 1:03:53Crazy as pool. I'm gonna kill myself. I gotta
- 1:03:57see Howard Foster. Fuck up another fight again.
- 1:04:04Howard fucking Foster. That's all we got on the
- 1:04:11docket, though. Yep. Hold on. What? See if those
- 1:04:18boxing scenes have it. They usually suck enough
- 1:04:20dick to be able to get access to that information.
- 1:04:27Oh, I haven't seen it. I can't find it. Oh, well,
- 1:04:35we'll find out once they're in the ring and we
- 1:04:36see Howard Foster. Already ready to wave it off.
- 1:04:42He's warming up already, yeah. Anything more
- 1:04:49for the two cards on 15th? Nope. All right. What
- 1:04:59if your best thinking day wasn't a lucky accident?
