- 1:43Speaker 1: You got to turn out to turn the water the watery, comey,
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your face got it? Uh huh? I show, well,
- 2:03Speaker 1: good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, come on
- 2:06Speaker 1: dig me now? Wanting on this Steve Harvey got a
- 2:09Speaker 1: radio show. Okay. I was thinking about it this morning
- 2:15Speaker 1: and I said, um, um, what can I share in
- 2:21Speaker 1: a different way today? You know, it creates a challenge
- 2:27Speaker 1: every morning to come up with something different. Um. And
- 2:31Speaker 1: at times, you know, I feel like I'm reiterating myself
- 2:35Speaker 1: and and I am, and I find different ways to
- 2:38Speaker 1: say the same thing almost. But I do that because
- 2:42Speaker 1: you know, sometimes if you hear it a different way,
- 2:45Speaker 1: it impacts you differently. I've heard people say stuff to
- 2:48Speaker 1: me my entire life, but somebody came along said the
- 2:52Speaker 1: exact same thing, but they said it a different way,
- 2:54Speaker 1: and it struck a chord in me. It rung a bell.
- 2:58Speaker 1: And so that's what I attempt to do. And you know,
- 3:03Speaker 1: some mornings I play back some ones that I think
- 3:08Speaker 1: are just memorable or order. I want to reiterate there's
- 3:12Speaker 1: nothing wrong with that. So I hope everybody understands that. Today,
- 3:14Speaker 1: though I got warm for you, I want to I
- 3:19Speaker 1: want to ask you a question, what choices are you making? See,
- 3:26Speaker 1: life is full of choices now as creatures. God is
- 3:32Speaker 1: the God gave us the humans. Of all the creatures created,
- 3:37Speaker 1: the humans, we have more of a power of choice
- 3:40Speaker 1: than do any other creatures he created. Fish have to
- 3:45Speaker 1: live in water, they have to Men have gone to
- 3:50Speaker 1: out of space. Men have gone underwater for days and
- 3:54Speaker 1: weeks and months at a time. You know, I mean,
- 3:57Speaker 1: we we got choices here. We we we can we
- 4:00Speaker 1: can live in a hot climate, we can go live
- 4:03Speaker 1: in a cold climate. You know, most animals are created
- 4:07Speaker 1: for certain regions, certain climates. They don't do well. And
- 4:10Speaker 1: you know, you don't find a lot of animals in
- 4:13Speaker 1: in the polar ice, But then you don't find polar
- 4:16Speaker 1: bears down in there. You know, South Arctic or the
- 4:22Speaker 1: South Equator. So you know what choices are you making?
- 4:25Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying, because we all have the power
- 4:28Speaker 1: of choice. Now, I've made some bad choices in my life.
- 4:32Speaker 1: I want you to understand that clearly. And I still
- 4:36Speaker 1: every now and then I'll do myself a disservice with
- 4:40Speaker 1: another bad choice. But I have tried to narrow them
- 4:44Speaker 1: down through life experiences and and and and reduce the
- 4:48Speaker 1: amount of major mistakes I make. But let me tell
- 4:52Speaker 1: you something. You're listening to a person who has made
- 4:56Speaker 1: major major mistakes in his choices. In my decision making process,
- 5:03Speaker 1: I have thrown myself down the cliff. I can't tell
- 5:07Speaker 1: you how many times when I decided not to pay
- 5:11Speaker 1: attention in college, when I didn't develop steady habits in
- 5:16Speaker 1: high school, when I I I chose this woman over
- 5:24Speaker 1: that woman, I chose man. I I can't tell you, y'all.
- 5:29Speaker 1: I did it. I did it to go over here
- 5:33Speaker 1: and get with this girl, this woman over here, when
- 5:37Speaker 1: I should not have. Clearly man should not have. But
- 5:42Speaker 1: I made the choice to do it anyway. I made
- 5:45Speaker 1: a decision. Um, I did some things that caused myself
- 5:50Speaker 1: to be homeless for a period of time. I made
- 5:54Speaker 1: some decisions that messed up my credit for a long
- 5:58Speaker 1: stretch of time. I made some decisions that you know,
- 6:04Speaker 1: just had people just kind of, you know, not not
- 6:07Speaker 1: even wanting to help me. So the question is what
- 6:11Speaker 1: choices are you making? When I changed my decision making process,
- 6:16Speaker 1: I changed the entire direction of my life. When I
- 6:21Speaker 1: made a conscious decision to look at life differently and
- 6:24Speaker 1: make better choices and better decisions, it changed my entire life.
- 6:31Speaker 1: I decided, instead of going down the path I was
- 6:35Speaker 1: going on, I decided to choose life. First of all,
- 6:40Speaker 1: I wanted to live. So I decided I wanted to
- 6:44Speaker 1: choose life. So I'm not gonna do the things that
- 6:47Speaker 1: could bring about my demise on my death. I'm out.
- 6:50Speaker 1: I ain't with this, this is not no. I choose life.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Then I made another decision. I said, I choose life,
- 6:59Speaker 1: and I choose is it more abundantly? You know what
- 7:02Speaker 1: that means. God comes into your life to give you
- 7:05Speaker 1: life and give you life more abundantly, So that means
- 7:10Speaker 1: just more of it. So I chose that. I said, Okay, man,
- 7:15Speaker 1: I need to start talking to God a little bit
- 7:17Speaker 1: more because the way I've been figuring this thing, man
- 7:19Speaker 1: has gotten me to this point. I ain't really cool
- 7:21Speaker 1: with the point I'm at. See, eventually, you just got
- 7:24Speaker 1: to be uncool with the point you at. So I
- 7:27Speaker 1: chose life, and I chose it more abundantly. Then I
- 7:30Speaker 1: chose to start showing mercy to people because I needed
- 7:35Speaker 1: some more people to show mercy to me. So you
- 7:38Speaker 1: remember why I said. I was going through a period
- 7:40Speaker 1: in my life when it seemed like when nobody helped me,
- 7:43Speaker 1: nobody seemed to exhibit mercy towards me. Well, I wasn't
- 7:47Speaker 1: creating that much mercy myself, I don't guess. So I
- 7:50Speaker 1: decided to choose mercy. I decided to choose forgiveness. I
- 7:56Speaker 1: started forgiving people who had wronged me, who told me
- 8:00Speaker 1: I wasn't gonna mount to nothing. I forgave him who
- 8:03Speaker 1: tried to talk me off the path, who went by
- 8:05Speaker 1: my mother's house and told my mama, your son, Steve
- 8:08Speaker 1: he lazy. He don't want to work. That's why he
- 8:11Speaker 1: out there struggling like that, trying to do that comedy thing.
- 8:14Speaker 1: I wasn't lazy, man, I just didn't want to work
- 8:16Speaker 1: for you. I'm willing to work. Look at me, I
- 8:19Speaker 1: work hard, trust and believe that. But I was not
- 8:22Speaker 1: willing to work for them. I wasn't willing to take
- 8:26Speaker 1: the route they took, so they labeled me lazy. I'm
- 8:28Speaker 1: not a lazy person. But I chose forgiveness though. I
- 8:32Speaker 1: chose to forgive them because I didn't have time to
- 8:35Speaker 1: break them. And then I chose moving forward. I decided
- 8:39Speaker 1: that I wasn't gonna go back, that I wasn't gonna
- 8:41Speaker 1: live my life in my past, that I wasn't gonna
- 8:44Speaker 1: let my past determine who I was going to be.
- 8:47Speaker 1: See I was who I was, but I am who
- 8:50Speaker 1: I am, and I'm cool with both of them people
- 8:52Speaker 1: I really am. I'm absolutely fine with the person I
- 8:56Speaker 1: used to be. God got to save you from something,
- 9:00Speaker 1: so I'm cool with that. But all that was the
- 9:02Speaker 1: ingredients though that got me to this point. So I'm
- 9:04Speaker 1: fine with my past. But what I do not do
- 9:07Speaker 1: is allow my past to dictate what I am, where
- 9:10Speaker 1: I'm going, what I can be. God forgave me, so
- 9:15Speaker 1: I forgave myself. I chose to move forward, not stay
- 9:19Speaker 1: in the past. I choose laughing. I choose laughing. I
- 9:25Speaker 1: decided that I was gonna laugh more every day. I
- 9:29Speaker 1: chose learning. I wanted to open myself up to new things.
- 9:35Speaker 1: I wanted to open myself up to knowing something that
- 9:38Speaker 1: I've never known before. I allow people to teach me things.
- 9:44Speaker 1: I chose joy. I decided to quit seeking fun all
- 9:49Speaker 1: the time and sit down somewhere and be all right
- 9:52Speaker 1: with me. See, I ain't got to go and do
- 9:55Speaker 1: no more to I ain't got to go out here
- 9:58Speaker 1: and hook up with this person and get this in
- 10:00Speaker 1: my life. And man, let's buy this and hook this up. Now,
- 10:03Speaker 1: y'all come in here, and we're gonna have some fun. Now. Man,
- 10:07Speaker 1: I stopped doing that. I chose joy. I chose to
- 10:11Speaker 1: be sitting somewhere with my girl with a cigar and
- 10:14Speaker 1: I'm just all right, just me and her. I chose joy. Man,
- 10:20Speaker 1: I see fun, You got to go do something to
- 10:22Speaker 1: have fun. But joy joys within joyce when you're sitting
- 10:27Speaker 1: there with yourself because you didn't connected with your creator,
- 10:30Speaker 1: you didn't found something with God, and you're cool with
- 10:33Speaker 1: you now. See. I chose to be cool with me.
- 10:37Speaker 1: What are your choices? You gotta make better choices. You
- 10:41Speaker 1: make better choices. You have a better outcome. You change
- 10:43Speaker 1: your attitude, you change your altitude. It all ties together.
- 10:47Speaker 1: But we gotta make better decisions. What are you deciding today?
- 10:51Speaker 1: Watch it? Okay, be careful, make sure you're making better
- 10:54Speaker 1: to start making better decisions today. You're listening to ladies
- 11:02Speaker 1: and gentlemen. Now have your undivided attention please, because this
- 11:05Speaker 1: is a very very special day. The Steve Harvey Morning

- 13:31Speaker 1: In This letter was interesting because it was directed at Junior.
- 13:35Speaker 1: But I took over because you can't seeing letters without
- 13:39Speaker 1: sending pictures. But what you can't do is trick us.
- 13:43Speaker 1: We're not going to do this with you, and you're

- 14:31Speaker 1: Love Morning, this is all about Junior and love. Right, yeah,
- 14:36Speaker 1: all right, we'll be back at thirty two after the hour.
- 14:43Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. So, Steve,
- 14:47Speaker 1: when we left off, we talked about this being a
- 14:49Speaker 1: love Morning, focusing on Junior and his well he's slim now,
- 14:53Speaker 1: he's all slimmed down and everything. He's all fine thing.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Oh that's right, we gotta call it's government. Yeah, I
- 15:01Speaker 1: love Junior two. We love Junior two. Personalizing thing given.
- 15:07Speaker 1: He won't take it back now, so so so go ahead.
- 15:12Speaker 1: See if you're you're finding love, you're looking for love.
- 15:14Speaker 1: So we started asking, and I don't know how it
- 15:17Speaker 1: ended up the other day, but some woman said she
- 15:20Speaker 1: wanted to date Junior. So I said, you know, she
- 15:24Speaker 1: loves his voice, his humor, everything. So I said, hey,
- 15:28Speaker 1: skip all that, we need photos. So the photos started
- 15:32Speaker 1: rolling in, not just from her, but from other people
- 15:37Speaker 1: at all. So let me give you an example of
- 15:39Speaker 1: what's happening. So the lady that rode in several people
- 15:44Speaker 1: attacked her attack number one email title damn Hull Junior
- 15:51Speaker 1: is all miney I lost his weight long time, little sexy.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Here's what we don't say, just th this is what
- 16:07Speaker 1: th h said. Listen, she's trying to deter you from
- 16:12Speaker 1: her looks. If she was serious, she would have originally
- 16:16Speaker 1: sent a picture talking about she works with special needs.
- 16:20Speaker 1: She gonna need a special need? Is she trying to
- 16:22Speaker 1: get with my junior? She thinks she is hold on
- 16:30Speaker 1: who she thinks she is? Old help. I'm five ft,
- 16:35Speaker 1: I'm taller than Tommy and her email, No, she said
- 16:47Speaker 1: she thinks who she thinks she is old help. I'm
- 16:50Speaker 1: five feet, I'm taller than Tommy and can out run it.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Block her email. Stay blessed and Junior as you. If Junior,
- 16:58Speaker 1: you reach out to her, and you're gonna have a
- 17:00Speaker 1: special need when I'm done with you, now come on
- 17:04Speaker 1: home to Big Mama. A right, And she's referring to
- 17:10Speaker 1: the lady that started this. They had to crush. She
- 17:12Speaker 1: works with the special needs department. At her church right
- 17:18Speaker 1: for her. We're checking emails now and I did some
- 17:20Speaker 1: research last night. If you work with the special needs
- 17:22Speaker 1: at the church, your minimum ages? How do you know that?
- 17:26Speaker 1: I looked it up? Well? Do you mind an older
- 17:31Speaker 1: obviously woman, Let's not call him expend because all I'm
- 17:36Speaker 1: just gonna be old woman. You do you mind an
- 17:42Speaker 1: older woman? Surely? Do I look like I have choice?
- 17:49Speaker 1: You got choice? Yeah, you got up the game because
- 17:52Speaker 1: we had a very interesting one. This woman by the
- 17:56Speaker 1: name of k R k R. This was her email.
- 18:01Speaker 1: How my name is um blank blank. I'm thirty three,

- 18:20Speaker 1: I'm trying to find out Okay, okay, so this came
- 18:27Speaker 1: from s S. Check this one out. Good morning. Heard
- 18:32Speaker 1: the Strawberry letter just a moment ago. However, I sent
- 18:35Speaker 1: a letter a few months ago expressing interests and wanting
- 18:38Speaker 1: to meet Junior. What I didn't response? My name is
- 18:41Speaker 1: blank blank, Yes, blank is my birthname. I'm blank. I'm

- 18:55Speaker 1: people in extremely outgoing. My interests are working out how
- 19:00Speaker 1: intensity training at least four hours a week? Don't killed, Junior?
- 19:05Speaker 1: I love to cook and what a saying? My interests
- 19:13Speaker 1: are working out how intensity training at least four hours
- 19:17Speaker 1: a week? Footnote, Dad, are killed? Yeah that's what I thought. Yeah,

- 19:39Speaker 1: shell and Junior, you just got through doing the d
- 19:42Speaker 1: herbs and you know all about this. This is coming
- 19:45Speaker 1: together really nicely. Don't get me wrong. I'm not too
- 19:48Speaker 1: far removed from meat. I just live a healthy Oh

- 19:59Speaker 1: she reads your love. Give me go ahead and get
- 20:02Speaker 1: run here. Don't get me wrong. I'm not too removed
- 20:06Speaker 1: far removed from meat. Blush, blush. I just live a
- 20:11Speaker 1: healthy and well balanced and nutritional life that has plenty
- 20:15Speaker 1: of flavor. I am an entrepreneur currently working in insurance
- 20:21Speaker 1: at the Harvard and a few other ventures that I'm developing.
- 20:25Speaker 1: I'm at a point where I'm seeking purposeful connections and
- 20:29Speaker 1: look forward to new adventures with people who get it
- 20:33Speaker 1: in life. There's never a dull moment with me. I
- 20:36Speaker 1: hold true to my principle of treating others that I
- 20:38Speaker 1: would like to be treated and being focused on self development.
- 20:41Speaker 1: I've enjoyed following Steve's radio show since two thousand and six,
- 20:45Speaker 1: but would love the opportunity to date with Junie if anything,

- 21:15Speaker 1: we got a couple others too. I'll be working on
- 21:17Speaker 1: this project project taking this on like this. Okay, you're
- 21:28Speaker 1: so serious about the road to sexy, Julian. This is
- 21:33Speaker 1: the road alright. Coming up next, the nephew is here.
- 21:37Speaker 1: The King of Pranks would run that prank back right
- 21:40Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Steve Morning Show coming
- 21:49Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour and entertainment news
- 21:52Speaker 1: R Kelly thinks he is misunderstood. Yeah, now no cla, cla,
- 22:03Speaker 1: but right now it is time for the King of
- 22:05Speaker 1: Frank's nephew Tommy would run that prank back. What you

- 22:23Speaker 1: reach a Mr. Wilson, Please, Mr Wilson, how are you today?
- 22:29Speaker 1: Who is My name is Williams. Well, listen, we've been
- 22:34Speaker 1: getting a few complaints are about some things on your
- 22:38Speaker 1: property there. Actually I'm with the homeowners Association. Wanted to
- 22:44Speaker 1: reach out and give you a call today. Oh, how
- 22:47Speaker 1: you doing pretty good? Listen. Um, got a few things
- 22:51Speaker 1: I kind of want to discuss with you here that
- 22:53Speaker 1: seemed to be, uh, a problem that's taken place in
- 22:57Speaker 1: the neighborhood there. Um, it's been auf to our attention
- 23:00Speaker 1: down here at headquarters that you have, um a few
- 23:03Speaker 1: things on your property that are are not functioning that
- 23:07Speaker 1: really shouldn't be on the property. Uh. You have two
- 23:09Speaker 1: cars supposedly in your driveway that that are not being used,
- 23:12Speaker 1: been sitting there for quite some time. Well, yeah, well
- 23:15Speaker 1: one of them I'm currently working on. I'm almost I
- 23:17Speaker 1: should have it repaired. I'm just waiting on getting wait,
- 23:20Speaker 1: wait and get a little extra money to get to
- 23:22Speaker 1: take care of the other cars just function and I
- 23:24Speaker 1: just don't drive, but I have more than one car. Okay. Now,
- 23:28Speaker 1: you you also have a a a camper that seems
- 23:32Speaker 1: to be has been there for at least eight months now,
- 23:35Speaker 1: that's that's sitting there. Is that correct as well? Yeah? Yeah,
- 23:38Speaker 1: I'm I'm working on getting some storage for that, but
- 23:42Speaker 1: it ain't really been there eight months, just maybe around
- 23:44Speaker 1: about six seven. And uh, you know, I'm looking at
- 23:49Speaker 1: our past records and stuff. It seems like there was
- 23:52Speaker 1: a complaint before about the you know, keeping the yard,
- 23:57Speaker 1: uh pretty cutting all of that kind of stuff. And
- 24:00Speaker 1: I'm just looking at past complaints that I have here.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Now the biggest one that I have that that's concerning
- 24:05Speaker 1: your property, sir, is uh supposedly in your backyard. Now
- 24:10Speaker 1: there's a you have an old boat that's in your backyard. Yeah, yeah,
- 24:15Speaker 1: but I don't see that nobody. Well, well, I mean
- 24:20Speaker 1: it's it's it's kind of a sore eye for the people.
- 24:22Speaker 1: I think. I think you guys backyards actually bump up
- 24:25Speaker 1: against each other, and you guys have a chain link
- 24:28Speaker 1: fence between the two of you all, and I think
- 24:30Speaker 1: the boat is must be just a sore eye for
- 24:32Speaker 1: the family that's behind you all. Well, you know, I
- 24:35Speaker 1: don't see myself getting rid of that boat. So I
- 24:39Speaker 1: got a cover on it. Everybody else got a boat.
- 24:41Speaker 1: I don't see what the problem is. Well, okay, here's
- 24:45Speaker 1: here's what's actually happening. Mr Wilson. What's gonna take place
- 24:48Speaker 1: is this. Now we're gonna give you a fourteen day
- 24:51Speaker 1: uh extension uh fourteen days actually to to move the
- 24:57Speaker 1: car that is not functioning, the campers well, and definitely
- 25:01Speaker 1: the boat we need. We're gonna need those three items. Well,
- 25:05Speaker 1: I ain't got no we moved boat. I just told
- 25:07Speaker 1: you I was working on so well for stores. Do
- 25:09Speaker 1: you know how my stories called? Now the boat, now
- 25:11Speaker 1: the care, But I'll get that take care. But the boat.
- 25:14Speaker 1: The boat, the boat my daddy gave me, and my
- 25:16Speaker 1: daddy gave me that. That's that's the only thing my
- 25:18Speaker 1: daddy gave me before he died. Now now I'm not
- 25:21Speaker 1: moving that boat nowhere. The boat won't just fine. If
- 25:24Speaker 1: I take you down that to the water, it works, sir,
- 25:26Speaker 1: And I understand it wholeheartedly. You know, I'm basically I'm
- 25:30Speaker 1: just a messenger I have I'm gonna have to get
- 25:33Speaker 1: the non functioning car that's not working properly. I'm gonna
- 25:37Speaker 1: have to get that out within a two weeks notice,
- 25:39Speaker 1: as well as the camper and definitely the boat. Now,
- 25:42Speaker 1: I gotta get that out. It's gotta be gone. I'll
- 25:44Speaker 1: tell you what I ain't moving. I'll tell you that
- 25:47Speaker 1: what you're gonna do, sir. You gotta either move the boat.
- 25:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna have somebody come over and haul all of
- 25:53Speaker 1: these things away. Well, i'll tell you what. I got
- 25:55Speaker 1: thirteen readers why you won't go over and touch that boat?
- 25:59Speaker 1: And I got two two, I got thirteen, and then
- 26:04Speaker 1: I got another twenty six added on to that. While
- 26:07Speaker 1: you won't bring now want me to touch my dad
- 26:10Speaker 1: because my dad gave me that bowl, I'll be dad,
- 26:12Speaker 1: any of you. You know, I'm tired of you with
- 26:15Speaker 1: me instead cross Street Report, because I'm not at liberty
- 26:19Speaker 1: to give you the Whose report. So you haven't live
- 26:23Speaker 1: to give me something because I know down the street
- 26:25Speaker 1: that you know eight months and ain't nobody say ain't
- 26:29Speaker 1: to it? So why the hell y'all mean about how
- 26:31Speaker 1: to vote in the backyard to my daddy gave me? Sir?
- 26:33Speaker 1: The language is not necessary The bottom line is I
- 26:38Speaker 1: want to camper out. I want to vote out, and
- 26:41Speaker 1: I want the car that's not functioning moved within two
- 26:44Speaker 1: weeks on. I'm towing it out. I'll tell you what.
- 26:46Speaker 1: I give you a personal invitation to come over him.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Put the boat, the campus and the car, and I
- 26:54Speaker 1: I will beat you like that's what beat you, sir.
- 26:58Speaker 1: H Wow, I'm gonna allow one car to stay. I
- 27:01Speaker 1: just want to make sure that you know that I've
- 27:03Speaker 1: given you the statement over the phone, letting you know
- 27:06Speaker 1: that what what has taken place here will take it.
- 27:10Speaker 1: But I ain't move my daddy boat. You're gonna move
- 27:12Speaker 1: your dad's stinking vote if let don't bring the loan,
- 27:19Speaker 1: but you bring somebody, sir, trust me, trust me. If
- 27:22Speaker 1: we come there, we're definitely gonna be bringing authorities with us.
- 27:25Speaker 1: My will go to you because I live my daddy
- 27:27Speaker 1: ain't now I want you. I'm gonna touch my daddy's boat.
- 27:30Speaker 1: That's left me. I got one one thing I need
- 27:33Speaker 1: to say to you, sir about this in a situation.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Excuse me. All I have to say is this, this
- 27:39Speaker 1: is nephew Timmy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You
- 27:43Speaker 1: just got pranked by your brother. Up. I got up.
- 27:59Speaker 1: All right, man, it's your brother told me, he said, Man,
- 28:01Speaker 1: he'd be going eddie with the homeowner socier. He said, Man,
- 28:04Speaker 1: just call him and tell him he got to move
- 28:07Speaker 1: all this to he said, but most of all, tell
- 28:10Speaker 1: him y'all gonna hauld off that boat. He said, he'd
- 28:13Speaker 1: killed you behind that dog on both But I love that.
- 28:20Speaker 1: I got one more question for you, No, baby, tell
- 28:22Speaker 1: me this. What is the baddest radio show in the land.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Anything your daddy left? Oh? Yeah, yes, sir, yes, sir yeah.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Move that boat. Yeah, moved his boat. You gotta get
- 28:39Speaker 1: to him by something that real sensitive. Huh my daddy boat. Well,
- 28:45Speaker 1: thank you, nephew. Tell me the Obama's. We haven't mentioned
- 28:48Speaker 1: them in a while. Well, uh, they made the news
- 28:51Speaker 1: this week because they are coming to Netflix. Former President
- 28:54Speaker 1: Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama have teamed up
- 28:58Speaker 1: with the streaming service for a tigear production deal. According
- 29:02Speaker 1: to the company, the agreement may include scripted series, unscripted series, docuseries, documentaries,
- 29:10Speaker 1: and features. Okay, how much are they getting paid, Well,
- 29:14Speaker 1: we don't know about that, but they did sign a
- 29:15Speaker 1: book deal for sixty million dollars back in remember that. Yeah,
- 29:21Speaker 1: they say, we hope to cultivate and curate the talented, inspiring,
- 29:24Speaker 1: creative voices who are able to promote greater empathy and
- 29:27Speaker 1: understanding between people's that's what the former president said in
- 29:31Speaker 1: a statement, and help them share their stories with the
- 29:34Speaker 1: entire world. All right, Yeah, so did your guys hear
- 29:38Speaker 1: so with the release of that information that some folks
- 29:41Speaker 1: are now boycotting thinking about boycotting Netflix because of the
- 29:46Speaker 1: Obama bous Yeah, yeah, because of the Obama Monique minutes
- 29:57Speaker 1: so long ago. Nobody out on the band nothing, okay,
- 30:03Speaker 1: but I'm not getting rid of mine NETFLI. That's coming up,
- 30:11Speaker 1: coming up next. In Entertainment News, R Kelly thinks he
- 30:15Speaker 1: is misunderstood. I got the video. I was clear. I
- 30:22Speaker 1: don't know what you know. I never saw it. What
- 30:29Speaker 1: you haven't seen it? Oh yeah, I never saw it.
- 30:32Speaker 1: All right, R Kelly, we'll find out if he really
- 30:35Speaker 1: is misunderstood right after this. You're listening to the show. Uh.
- 30:42Speaker 1: In entertainment News, earlier this week, t I spoke out
- 30:44Speaker 1: about mistreatment he witnessed at a Houston's restaurant in Atlanta.
- 30:49Speaker 1: Now we're hearing from the alleged victims. Actress and former
- 30:52Speaker 1: American Idol contestant Asia Epperson says she couldn't believe it
- 30:56Speaker 1: when the police arrested her and her two friends instead
- 30:58Speaker 1: of the security guard, who says she lied about warning
- 31:02Speaker 1: them to leave and then dragged them out of the restaurant.
- 31:06Speaker 1: She says they were completely caught off guard when the
- 31:09Speaker 1: off duty, cup working security took them out of the
- 31:11Speaker 1: restaurant and forced them out of the front door. She's
- 31:15Speaker 1: lawyered up now and agrees with t i's plan to
- 31:17Speaker 1: go boycott the restaurant chain and wants to see the
- 31:20Speaker 1: whole thing shut down. Uh, Tommy, I know you agree
- 31:23Speaker 1: with Marlon Wayams on this Houston's restaurant boycott. Marlon Willyams
- 31:28Speaker 1: was on TMS. He said, just because they got good
- 31:31Speaker 1: steaks does not give them the right sending the spinach outside,
- 31:39Speaker 1: which this is serious. You know they want them shut down.
- 31:44Speaker 1: They can't treat people like when people the recipe that is, wow,
- 31:55Speaker 1: did let your uncle did? To be honest with you,
- 31:59Speaker 1: I just get so angry at all of this all
- 32:02Speaker 1: the time. You always and it's it's it's tiring. Black
- 32:06Speaker 1: black people are exhausted, man. Yeah, everybody got no time
- 32:10Speaker 1: for that every damn day of life. You're right trending
- 32:16Speaker 1: topics this morning, you know, along with Shirley's entertainment news. Uh.
- 32:19Speaker 1: The NFL yesterday and their new policy on the national anthem.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Personnel on the field shall stand and show respect for
- 32:28Speaker 1: the flag and anthem. Teams will be fined if on
- 32:32Speaker 1: field personnel does not stand for the anthem. This is unbelievable, Steve.
- 32:37Speaker 1: We have much bigger things. I mean, really, you do, man.
- 32:42Speaker 1: You mean for the president, for the president. But y'all
- 32:45Speaker 1: got a healthcare bill at your time trying to destroy
- 32:48Speaker 1: You've done that. Are you saying that's more important? Steven?
- 32:53Speaker 1: You're saying you know. Look, you're trying to get rid
- 32:55Speaker 1: of the dock them, the Dreamers Act. You're trying to
- 32:58Speaker 1: kill that. You want a wall. Everything you're working on.
- 33:04Speaker 1: You gotta travel band. Everything you want to do is divisive.
- 33:09Speaker 1: Why are the NFL players bother you? If you would
- 33:12Speaker 1: address the reason that they are kneeling as opposed to
- 33:18Speaker 1: trying to force him not to kneel, If anybody would
- 33:21Speaker 1: open up the discussion, why are they kneeling and find
- 33:25Speaker 1: out to the man that it has nothing to do
- 33:27Speaker 1: with the military or disrespecting the flat. If you all
- 33:31Speaker 1: played the whole national anthem that they took the national
- 33:34Speaker 1: anthem from which didn't become our national anthem to the thirties.
- 33:38Speaker 1: If you take the rest of the point, it promotes
- 33:42Speaker 1: slavery and it degenerates black people. It's the second verse.
- 33:46Speaker 1: They took it out and said this is gonna be
- 33:49Speaker 1: our national anthem. But they took it from the poem
- 33:52Speaker 1: that the guy wrote the whole thing. Man, the cries
- 33:56Speaker 1: of racism on the back side of that song. Now,
- 33:59Speaker 1: if everybody they understood that, man, we everybody would be
- 34:02Speaker 1: kneeling if you knew the origin of it. All right,
- 34:07Speaker 1: we have to move on to Steve and then all right,
- 34:12Speaker 1: let's go to MS and Steve. Ladies and gentlemen, she's here,
- 34:15Speaker 1: the lovely miss and Trip. Thanks everybody. This is and
- 34:19Speaker 1: Trip for the news, and we're gonna talk about that
- 34:21Speaker 1: football thing for now right now. National League team owners, yes,
- 34:23Speaker 1: they voted yesterday to prohibit all of their players from
- 34:27Speaker 1: taking a knee during the national anthem. Now, the new
- 34:29Speaker 1: policy says that all team members as well as those
- 34:31Speaker 1: who work on the sidelines must stand during the national anthem,
- 34:34Speaker 1: and that if someone chooses to kneel, the whole team
- 34:37Speaker 1: could be fine. Now hold on to that. I'll get
- 34:39Speaker 1: to that. Back to that in a second. In a statement,
- 34:41Speaker 1: the NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell says that personnel who choose
- 34:44Speaker 1: not to stand for the anthem can go to the
- 34:46Speaker 1: locker room until after it's been performed. Some athletes follow
- 34:50Speaker 1: Colin Kaepernick's lead. Of course, you know this, everybody. She
- 34:53Speaker 1: took a knee during the two thousand sixteen season, and
- 34:56Speaker 1: some other athletes did to protest racial injustice, the excessive
- 35:00Speaker 1: use of force by police on unarmed black men and boys,
- 35:04Speaker 1: and and some women as well. And and President Trump
- 35:07Speaker 1: and his supporters called them on patriotic. Well, the new
- 35:09Speaker 1: policy was arrived at without input from the players union.
- 35:12Speaker 1: So they say they're reviewing it and they prepared to
- 35:14Speaker 1: challenge it. And already the New York Jets say they're
- 35:17Speaker 1: saying they'll support any player who kneels, that the team
- 35:20Speaker 1: will pay the fine. So anybody in the Jets, he said,
- 35:22Speaker 1: their team members, neil, they don't care. They're gonna pay
- 35:25Speaker 1: the fine because they're gonna let them. They're going to
- 35:27Speaker 1: support them in whatever, you know, protests that they're trying
- 35:30Speaker 1: to put forward. Did the Jets everything about hiring Colin
- 35:34Speaker 1: Kaepernick or Eric Reed? Think about that? A Trump administration
- 35:38Speaker 1: is central to a Trump aministration team scheduled ahead of
- 35:41Speaker 1: Singapore this weekend to begin preparations for what is now
- 35:43Speaker 1: being described as possible North Korean US summit meeting. In fact,
- 35:47Speaker 1: when I asked about the President sounds more and more
- 35:48Speaker 1: like he's hedging his best. We're going to see what
- 35:50Speaker 1: happens on Singapore, and it could happen, could very well happen.
- 35:56Speaker 1: But whatever it is that we will know next week
- 35:58Speaker 1: about Singapore, and if we go, I think it would
- 36:00Speaker 1: be a great thing for North Korea and Secretary State
- 36:03Speaker 1: Mink Popeo says that he remains very hopeful that the
- 36:06Speaker 1: much anticipated summit meeting will take place, and the date
- 36:09Speaker 1: mentioned as June twelve. Now, this is something a lot
- 36:11Speaker 1: of folks who don't know. I'm gonna tell you about it.
- 36:13Speaker 1: Um I went, she mentioned it before, you black not
- 36:16Speaker 1: have caught it. In the wake of Britain's Brexit decision
- 36:18Speaker 1: to leave the European Union, English silmakers are redesigned their
- 36:21Speaker 1: country's immigration policy. Now, according to The New York Times,
- 36:24Speaker 1: a number of West Indians are being told they are
- 36:26Speaker 1: not British citizens and if they can't become citizens, they're
- 36:28Speaker 1: gonna have to leave the British Isles. Most effective members
- 36:31Speaker 1: of the so called wind rushan generation named after one
- 36:34Speaker 1: of the first ships that brought immigrants from the Caribbean
- 36:36Speaker 1: over there to fill jobs in post World War Two Britain.
- 36:40Speaker 1: At that time, the law said that people from British
- 36:42Speaker 1: colonies could stay in England and definitely well now, fuel
- 36:44Speaker 1: by Brexits anti immigrants sentiment, many West Indians who have
- 36:47Speaker 1: lived in the UK for decades, I'm talking forty fifty
- 36:50Speaker 1: years being told they don't have proof of citizenship. So
- 36:53Speaker 1: now they've lost access to public housing and healthcare and
- 36:55Speaker 1: all that kind of stuff. It's really just a horrible
- 36:57Speaker 1: today International Brother's Day. Shouts out to my brother Wayne
- 37:00Speaker 1: Trip and all other brothers out there. That's right back
- 37:04Speaker 1: with more entertainment Today's trending topics. Twenty minutes after the

- 43:43Speaker 1: know that she's been quiet? What shelled her eyes every time?
- 43:52Speaker 1: But I'm trying to figure out she ain't really stepping
- 43:56Speaker 1: up though, Junior, we had to consider Monica. Get the
- 44:04Speaker 1: what's your Monica got? How many degrees she got to
- 44:12Speaker 1: you don't I talk for safety? Purpose for safety? All right?
- 44:28Speaker 1: So that's three. Then we have three right now. Now

- 44:38Speaker 1: Just sent it in at the last minute. I'm at work.
- 44:41Speaker 1: You can see the fire cabinet in the background. Who
- 44:45Speaker 1: was that? Which? Which the one is that up? Let's
- 44:48Speaker 1: see that picture. He got a fire. I came behind
- 44:51Speaker 1: j But you have a lot of interest out lost
- 44:54Speaker 1: his way a long time ago. Yeah, I wouldn't ate nothing.
- 44:58Speaker 1: It's your first picture you sent me calling, So this
- 45:01Speaker 1: is what I want to know. Are you going to
- 45:03Speaker 1: let Steve pick the woman for you? You know what,
- 45:06Speaker 1: We're gonna work this up. We're gonna figure it out
- 45:08Speaker 1: by today. Alright. I look at half finger nail, hold
- 45:12Speaker 1: that how you make up? Look on you? We gotta
- 45:15Speaker 1: go right now, but we'll we'll be back with the
- 45:17Speaker 1: nephew because I could see Evil in that coming up
- 45:24Speaker 1: with his prank phone call right after this crazy you're
- 45:29Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Show coming up at the top
- 45:33Speaker 1: of the hour, right about four minutes after it's Today's
- 45:36Speaker 1: Strawberry letter. Wait till you hear this when the subject
- 45:38Speaker 1: my ex girlfriend is a huge problem, all right, but
- 45:43Speaker 1: right now it is the king of pranks. He is
- 45:46Speaker 1: in the building. Nephew taught me with today's prank phone call.
- 45:48Speaker 1: But you got well, you know, it's that time commencement.
- 45:51Speaker 1: All over the country, people walking they graduate. But you know,
- 45:54Speaker 1: sometimes you gotta call somebody and let them know you're
- 45:57Speaker 1: not graduate. Wait, do you know? Hello, Hello, I'm trying
- 46:07Speaker 1: to reach a Travads place. This uh, this is uh,
- 46:12Speaker 1: my name is Joseph Work Open Student Affairs. How you
- 46:15Speaker 1: doing today? I'm good? How are you? I'm good? Listen,
- 46:18Speaker 1: you're supposed to be UM. This is your fifth year
- 46:23Speaker 1: here at the university. You're graduating and UM in the

- 46:29Speaker 1: you got this joint? Okay, listen, I'm giving you a call.
- 46:33Speaker 1: We got a bit of a problem here that we
- 46:35Speaker 1: want to try and discuss with you, and maybe we
- 46:38Speaker 1: can get you over at student affairs and come in
- 46:39Speaker 1: and have a meeting with us. But we wanted to
- 46:41Speaker 1: bring it to your attention. Now. You took a one
- 46:45Speaker 1: of your last subjects was English, uh, and you had
- 46:48Speaker 1: an English exam with a You guys are writing an essay?
- 46:52Speaker 1: M I R m ir am I correct about that? Yeah? Yeah,
- 46:56Speaker 1: that's true. Okay, this see that we got some problems
- 46:59Speaker 1: here that the professor, there is actually a single meeting
- 47:02Speaker 1: that you may have cheated on this on this essay
- 47:05Speaker 1: that you've actually written cheated. No, I mean from from
- 47:11Speaker 1: what he's telling us here at Student Affairs is that
- 47:14Speaker 1: you may have plagiarized some things uh that uh that
- 47:18Speaker 1: we're in your essay due. No, I didn't. I didn't
- 47:20Speaker 1: plagiarize nothing that was in the essay. Everything is documented
- 47:23Speaker 1: like it should be. So I don't know what you're
- 47:24Speaker 1: talking about, especially cheating on no exam, on no paper,
- 47:27Speaker 1: nothing like that. You must got me mixed up with
- 47:29Speaker 1: somebody else. No, no, no, not at all. You're actually
- 47:32Speaker 1: Mr Travan, correct. I mean that's me. But I didn't
- 47:34Speaker 1: cheat on no exam that matter. Okay, well, let me
- 47:38Speaker 1: let me try to bring you up to speed here
- 47:40Speaker 1: at Urvan. What we're gonna need is we're gonna need
- 47:42Speaker 1: you to actually come in and talk to us over
- 47:44Speaker 1: here at student Affairs so we can try to get
- 47:46Speaker 1: this thing rectified. But I will let you know, it's
- 47:49Speaker 1: gonna take a few more days longer than graduation. So
- 47:53Speaker 1: as of right now, you're actually not gonna be walking
- 47:57Speaker 1: uh and graduating with the rest of the students. Do Man,
- 48:00Speaker 1: you got me messed up. What's what do you mean?
- 48:02Speaker 1: I'm not gonna be walking well until we get this
- 48:05Speaker 1: situation rectified here. You're not gonna be graduating with the
- 48:09Speaker 1: rest of the students now, dot. I don't know what
- 48:11Speaker 1: you gotta do, but you'll need to figure it out
- 48:13Speaker 1: or find out what the problem you men. I ain't
- 48:15Speaker 1: cheat on know exam then you're talking about Dude, my
- 48:17Speaker 1: family is coming down here and you're talking about cheating
- 48:19Speaker 1: on an English exam. I look like cheating on an example,
- 48:22Speaker 1: and I'm getting ready to graduate. Man, Now, y'all need
- 48:24Speaker 1: to fix it, like right now, like today while we're
- 48:26Speaker 1: on the phone. We can't do that. It's a little
- 48:29Speaker 1: it's a sensitive subject, and like I said, it seems
- 48:31Speaker 1: like it's plagiarism. You know, if we can get you
- 48:34Speaker 1: to actually come over the student affairs next Wednesday, Man,
- 48:37Speaker 1: you got me what you mean next Wednesday? Dude, I'm
- 48:41Speaker 1: graduating in a few days and you're saw about next Wednesday. Man,
- 48:44Speaker 1: why don't my professor didn't give me a call? Why
- 48:46Speaker 1: are you calling me, sir? This is not something that
- 48:49Speaker 1: professors actually take care of. This is a student affair situation.
- 48:53Speaker 1: Now and it's a very sensitive situation. And what we
- 48:55Speaker 1: want to do is try to get this thing taken
- 48:57Speaker 1: care of. And if you if what you're saying is
- 48:59Speaker 1: actually true, then you're probably graduating. Man. Man, when you
- 49:04Speaker 1: see you got me, I'm telling you writing that this
- 49:06Speaker 1: is you got me, August. I'm graduating. This to me
- 49:11Speaker 1: here too long to go through some my last few
- 49:14Speaker 1: weeks of school. And you talk about August, I ain't
- 49:17Speaker 1: even time here right here. You don't even say, Man,
- 49:20Speaker 1: you didn't even time to hear what you got to say. Man,
- 49:22Speaker 1: my family is coming down here from everywhere to see
- 49:24Speaker 1: me graduate. I'm my first graduate from my family. You're
- 49:28Speaker 1: talking about some tell my cheat on the paper, paper,
- 49:31Speaker 1: now a paper? Can you come me? Man, I don't
- 49:34Speaker 1: gonna work two and three to see me to this school.
- 49:38Speaker 1: And now I'm coming getting rid of to graduate, and
- 49:39Speaker 1: you're talking about got to wait un till August a graduate. Man,
- 49:42Speaker 1: Hell no, I'm on my way to the office right now.
- 49:45Speaker 1: And you can tell whoever the professor is that I'm
- 49:47Speaker 1: on my way and he needs to be there too, sir.
- 49:49Speaker 1: I can really tell you that we can try and
- 49:51Speaker 1: get this thing rectified and earlier the next wednes Man,
- 49:54Speaker 1: what's your name again? And where is where is your office?
- 49:57Speaker 1: I'm I'm Joe. Okay, okay, okay, okay. So I'm about
- 50:01Speaker 1: to get in my car right now and I'm about
- 50:03Speaker 1: to come over there, and we're gonna handle it today.
- 50:05Speaker 1: And how are you singing to me cheating on the
- 50:07Speaker 1: exam paper? Man? Is that is the professor? There's a
- 50:12Speaker 1: possibility here? Are you kidding me? Do? I've been here
- 50:16Speaker 1: five Yes, I'm the first man to graduate from Colors. Man,
- 50:22Speaker 1: my grandma is eighty two years old? Is she coming
- 50:25Speaker 1: in here and see me graduate? And you're telling me
- 50:27Speaker 1: the somebody seeing on the papers? And I got away
- 50:30Speaker 1: till I'll get to graduate. Man, make you tell me,
- 50:33Speaker 1: professor to come to your office right now, because I'm
- 50:36Speaker 1: already in my car on my way to come to
- 50:38Speaker 1: your office. And we're gonna handing this today. Said man,
- 50:41Speaker 1: you got me. I don't have any more room or
- 50:44Speaker 1: my kids to actually pull anybody in today or she's
- 50:47Speaker 1: gonna call me with like this somethingbout you ain't got
- 50:50Speaker 1: room on your schedule. Man. Hell now, miss miss whatever
- 50:54Speaker 1: your name is, I'm all my way to your office
- 50:56Speaker 1: room and I'll tell you. I'm gonna tell you, and
- 50:59Speaker 1: I'm telling you front. It's gonna be a problem. I
- 51:02Speaker 1: ain't graduating in a few days. You got to deal
- 51:04Speaker 1: with me. You got to deal with my family and
- 51:06Speaker 1: my mama. We're gonna play this. Think you got it, sir?
- 51:10Speaker 1: I under is there a possibility that maybe you playgiarized
- 51:13Speaker 1: and didn't know that you did that? You mean the
- 51:16Speaker 1: paper was a new sir? Can I can? I can
- 51:20Speaker 1: I tell you one more thing? And then and then
- 51:21Speaker 1: all that you can't tell you you're not ready to
- 51:23Speaker 1: call me with something. I can't graduate with my class
- 51:26Speaker 1: after I didn't been this for five years, said myf
- 51:30Speaker 1: And you're telling me I can't graduate until August. You
- 51:33Speaker 1: ain't got to tell me. I do have one more
- 51:35Speaker 1: thing I need to tell you, and then I'll let
- 51:37Speaker 1: you be on your way. Okay, man, go ahead? Can
- 51:40Speaker 1: I tell you what I want to tell you? New?

- 52:43Speaker 1: somebody's grandmama coming here something. Yes, they don't even ask
- 52:55Speaker 1: who you are. This guy wafered them and uses his
- 53:01Speaker 1: hand to knock on my shoulder like he knocking on
- 53:04Speaker 1: the door. I said, through what I'm knocking on the
- 53:06Speaker 1: dough time, I'm knocking on the guys. He was at
- 53:15Speaker 1: the play, I said, Man, gonna help y'all get y'all legs. Really,

- 55:24Speaker 1: Letter All right, this is a long one. The subject
- 55:27Speaker 1: my ex girlfriend is a huge problem. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 55:32Speaker 1: I have a big problem. Two years ago, I relocated
- 55:36Speaker 1: for work. Before I moved, I had a special lady
- 55:39Speaker 1: that I enjoyed spending time with. She was a big,
- 55:43Speaker 1: fine woman, thick in all of the right places. It's
- 55:47Speaker 1: been a year since I had seen her, and I
- 55:50Speaker 1: was missing her good loving so I called her and
- 55:54Speaker 1: told her I was sending her a bus ticket to
- 55:57Speaker 1: come visit me. Yes of us ticket because because a
- 56:01Speaker 1: brother ain't rich. What The weekend finally came and I
- 56:08Speaker 1: was so excited to see her. But oh my goodness,
- 56:12Speaker 1: when this woman got off the bus, I swear I
- 56:15Speaker 1: barely recognized her. She had almost doubled in size in
- 56:19Speaker 1: the patch here. Don't get me wrong, I like big girls,
- 56:23Speaker 1: but she should have told me that she gained a
- 56:25Speaker 1: lot of weight. I didn't say anything, and I tried
- 56:28Speaker 1: not to look shocked. As soon as we got in
- 56:30Speaker 1: the car, she pulled out a bag of snacks and
- 56:33Speaker 1: offered me a brownie. I always loved her cooking, so
- 56:38Speaker 1: I ate a brownie. When we got to my apartment,
- 56:41Speaker 1: I ate another brownie. Then I realized something wasn't quite right.
- 56:46Speaker 1: I was high as heck. She admitted that the brownies
- 56:51Speaker 1: had weed in them, like it was no big deal.
- 56:54Speaker 1: I was sitting on the couch trying to get myself
- 56:56Speaker 1: together when all of a sudden, she climbed on me
- 57:00Speaker 1: and said she was going to give me exactly what
- 57:03Speaker 1: I'd been missing. All I could do was lie there,
- 57:06Speaker 1: pinned to the couch. She took advantage of me for
- 57:09Speaker 1: what seemed like hours. I wanted to yell out for
- 57:12Speaker 1: her to stop, but nothing came out because I was
- 57:15Speaker 1: too high. I ended up passing out on the couch.
- 57:19Speaker 1: The next day. I told her that I felt violated.
- 57:22Speaker 1: She said she could tell that I had had a
- 57:24Speaker 1: problem with her weight, so she took matters into her
- 57:27Speaker 1: own hands. I couldn't wait to get this big, wild
- 57:30Speaker 1: woman out of my house. Now she keeps calling and
- 57:33Speaker 1: texting me, and I don't want anything to do with her.
- 57:36Speaker 1: How can I get rid of her without hurting her feelings?
- 57:39Speaker 1: This is a huge problem. Well, be careful what you
- 57:44Speaker 1: asked for. Huh uh? You know what, though, I'm really
- 57:47Speaker 1: sorry that. Yeah, it's a long letter. I'm really sorry
- 57:53Speaker 1: that you know you feel violated. I really am. And
- 57:56Speaker 1: it's not talked about a lot, but men do get violated.
- 58:00Speaker 1: In this case, you were violated if you felt that way. Um.
- 58:03Speaker 1: You know, if this, if this situation were reversed, we
- 58:06Speaker 1: probably have a completely different answer for you. But I
- 58:09Speaker 1: will tell you this. She is out of your house,
- 58:12Speaker 1: she's out of town, so you don't have that to
- 58:15Speaker 1: worry about. As far as the phone is concerned, you
- 58:18Speaker 1: don't have to answer her calls, I mean, or you
- 58:21Speaker 1: can just simply tell her it's not going to work out.
- 58:25Speaker 1: You didn't appreciate what she did and all of that.
- 58:27Speaker 1: But maybe as a man you don't feel like you
- 58:28Speaker 1: should tell her all of that. Um, but I think
- 58:31Speaker 1: you should. I think you should be honest with this
- 58:33Speaker 1: woman and let her know that what she did is
- 58:35Speaker 1: wrong and how you felt about the situation. And uh,
- 58:39Speaker 1: please do not send her another bus ticket, all right,
- 58:42Speaker 1: that's in your best interest, Steve. Well, there's so much
- 58:48Speaker 1: to this letter. Should I just break it down line
- 58:51Speaker 1: by lane because this letter is surely my ex girlfriend
- 58:58Speaker 1: is a huge Dear Stephen Shirley, I have a big
- 59:02Speaker 1: problem right there, you damn show do and it's about
- 59:07Speaker 1: to step down off a bus. So the whole time
- 59:12Speaker 1: two years ago, I really okay for our movie. I
- 59:17Speaker 1: had a special lady I enjoyed spending time. She's a
- 59:21Speaker 1: big fan, thicking all the right place. It's been a
- 59:25Speaker 1: year since I've seen her, and I was missing her,
- 59:27Speaker 1: good lover, So I called her and told her that
- 59:32Speaker 1: I was sending her a bus ticket to come visit me. Yes,
- 59:37Speaker 1: a bus ticket, because a brother ain't rich. Two things
- 59:41Speaker 1: here when you busting them in, when you busting on
- 59:47Speaker 1: the end, we are already dealing with low budget love.
- 59:52Speaker 1: You like the school you busting on me, and they
- 59:56Speaker 1: bust kids to sleep, They bust freedom riding. We're busting boycottie.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: You don't do that in modern day, but you somehow
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: manage to bring that all the way up. We stopped
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: busting back a long time ago. You still doing it
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: now because this is low budget loving. You must deal
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: with another old saying you get what you pay for
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: all right now? See, First of all, what woman you
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: know willing to get up on the bus. I don't know,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: sove weest come on now? Spirit, well we'll see, come
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: on train something we can't finally came. I was excited
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: to see it for Oh my goodness, when this woman
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: got off the bus right there, you keep here that sign.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: When this woman got off the bus, Now what you
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: expect you've seen bus riders? The last time you seen
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: the finance bus ride? Ain't talking about every day like
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: you know, commuting on the train and nothing. It's fine
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: women all day on trains and but I'm talking about
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: the car the bus from a cross state line. When
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: the last time you've seen the fineance bus riding a
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: cross state lines? I challenge you. This woman got off
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: the bus. I swear I barely recognized she had almost
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: doubled in size from the past year because she missed you.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: So she been eating. You like big women. Don't get
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: me wrong. I like big girls. Okay, well we'll we're
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: gonna get to like it. But she should have told
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: me that she had gained a lot of weight. You
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: didn't ask, Your cheap ass just sent the bus to
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: You didn't ask because she didn't have to volunteer. Oh
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: you want to see me here, I come. I didn't
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: say anything, and I tried not to look shot. Here.
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: I didn't say anything, and I tried not to look shot.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: You can't take that look off your face when a
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: big person getting down off a bus the whole side
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: and the bus go down. When she stepped on that

- 1:03:29Speaker 1: of your response to today's Strawberry letter. My ex girlfriend
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: is a huge problem. Let's this man used data woman
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: a year ago, missed her love and he liked fine,
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: thick women. He sent for a bus tickets. She got
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: on the bus, and when she got off the bus,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: all hell. He couldn't believe that she had doubled inside.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: So that's where we are, okay, But I want to
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: bring to your attention gain show me the last fine
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: person you've seen on a bus crossing state line. That's
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: my challenge to people that ride the bus. Look like
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: they ride the bus de terminal. In the terminal, you
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: know they in him. Yeah, it's a different crew. They
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: don't have looking. They have clothes, laundry baskets with closed
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: stuff to them and duct taping. That's how they travel.
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: All they're closed in grocery bags and afties, zip locks,
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: afty number one. Yeah, all right, now she had gained
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: a lot of weight. I ain't say anything, and I
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: tried not to look shot. It's hard not to be
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: because you say little stuff to yourself. Oh that's when
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: they move Jesus good, What the hell do I ain't
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: got no extension for the suit. It's half off to
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: kill herself, slam on well, she don't need a bad Yeah,
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: this is what the stuff, he said is. As soon
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: as we got in the car, she pulled out a
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: bag and snatch and offered me a brownie. I always
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: loved the cooking, so I ate a brownie. When we
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: got to my problem, I ain't another brownie. Then I
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: realized someon wasn't quite right. I was high as hell. Yeah,
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: and she knew it too. She gave you the brownie
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: to get you off your game. She didn't brownie's got
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: you looped. Now. After she did that, she admitted that
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: her brownies had weed in him, but like it was
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: no big deal. I was sitting on the couch trying
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: to get myself together, when all of a sudden, she
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: climbed on me and said she was gonna give me
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: exactly what I had been missing. Just about your buster
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: he phone, I am a FINNI bringing up bring uma
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: got something for You're gonna get it to you. That
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: what you want to do? What your boss? Then? It
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: is all I could do is lie there, pin to
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: the couch. You damn right, your pin she doubled the size.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: She whipping your ass. Actually, actually, what's happened to you
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: in the middle of that room. You don't even know it.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: She didn't pin you. You're the rest of the match.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: You've been out. She took advantage of me for what
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: seemed like hours. Anytime you want to you don't want
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: to do something seemed way long. You're probably there about
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: eight minutes, felt like any high big just getting it
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: to you know what the hell going on? I wanted
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: to yell out for her to stop, but she couldn't.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: You know why, because she had your pin. She cut
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: your wind off. Big people know how to work they weight.
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: She got this wight on. You tried to yell out,
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: but every time you take a deep breath, she it
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: came in your chest mote, so now you can't even
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: take a deeper and then no, that's pressed up. So
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: you tried to yell out, but her big ass had
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: your pin. Nothing came out because I was too hot.
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: I ended up passing out on the couch. You got
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: choked out, is what happened to you. Boy, You got
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: passed out because you got put out. Next day I
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: told I felt violated. She said that she could tell
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: that I had a problem with her weight. You know
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: when she could tell when she get down off that
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: bus because you try not to look shocked, but your
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: ass was. You know when you first see your woman,
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: who lord ain't ain't ain't a good steak? Whoa lord not?
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: Whoa whoa? Means stopped? Now she keeps calling and texting me,
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: and I don't want anything to do with her. How
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: can I get rid of her without hurting her feeling?
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: This is a huge problem, damn right as a huge problem.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: But here's the first thing you do. I don't want
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: to have anything to do with How can I get
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: rid of her without hurting her? Still, you can block
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: her number, or you can just get a whole new
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: fund that you got to get drafted because big people
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: don't give up. I'm tell you right now, people wear yours.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: So now what you want to do is you want
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: to block her and you want to get a new number.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: Only a problem you can do it. First of all,
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: you got to stop buying bus tickets. Don't buy another
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: damn bus ticket. Busting her in is the first beginning
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: of all your problems. People, was getting off the bus
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: before her, didn't it clue you in? This crazy looking
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: at it? People? So when she got off the bus,
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: what you thought she's just gonna be the rare light
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: jumping down off. Look the same light. Yeah you thought
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: some angel we're gonna come out of this bust. No,
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: hear her, big gass, come Steve, she will double the side.
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: See Shelley, your fine sister. You can't double though, antybody
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: fen to do you and double Carling. You can't double, Monica,
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: you can't double. You can't double. We deal with we
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: we we we work with your where you're at. Everybody
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: got it going on. But what you can't do with
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: double up? I can't all of a sudden be three
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: hundred pounds spect to keep my ass on TV. Ain't
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: that much damn counter sitting up in here swollen. Now
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: I'm looking like Keenan. Look at the clap and see
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: what I'm saying. I can't all that weight. I'm fat,
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: fat as board three hundred pound. Now I'm doing Keenan
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: on Saturday Night Live. Oh my damn ship. See what

- 1:11:05Speaker 1: This is what I'm talking about, Babe. This is a
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: good day to day. And before I shout out, when
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: I might shout out, come on down the chuckles in Memphis.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: We got six shows. I need the money. Why because
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: I gotta have myself together for Sandy soul. Look at exercise,
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: eat vegetables every day, and I found a little girl
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: named Brittany gonna braive my hair. Thank you Steve Harvard
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: Morning Show and especially KJLH. Now let's go to what's
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: real today. Hallelujah. We might have a sister be the
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: governor of Georgia. Let's go to the poet, as we
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: say in Chicago, early and often, I'm voting every name
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: I got, my government name, my African name, my black
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: pether was gone to name name. It coming to America.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: It's going down, brothers and sisters. I think that girl
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: can win. And what we're seeing is a lot of
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: women are running for office and this was gonna work.
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: It's girl Power's sisters doing it for our sales. And
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: I hope that this sister can become the governor Joyce.
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: So let's register and vote. Let's go, let's go, let's
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: go to the post. Let's drive some souls to the polls. Now,
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: while we're talking about what women can do, let me
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: tell you what you should not be doing. Taylor Swift, girl,
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: I love you, but do not touch the elements you
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: cannot remake. September. Listen to me. I was so hurt,
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: and I love a girl. I love what she's doing.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: I know what you trying to do what you can't
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: touch that. Look, we forgave O'Brien when he remade Still
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: Water by the Fault Tops because he was singing the
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: song for Soul Trained. He was doing theme song, so
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: we forgave him. But everybody don't need to be remaking everything.
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: Taylor Swift, we love you, girl, but don't have us
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: going to the Black Empowerment meeting when you're messing with
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: the elements earth, wind and fire. Yes, is the worst
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: of a song I've ever all. Seriously, I wanted to
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: kill myself. Yes, why would you? Redo don't need renown,
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: he don't, They don't need you. And the lady that
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: wrote it, it's another lady that wrote September she got
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: frizzy hand. Yeah, listen to me. She slowed it down
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: and don't be fun. Where's the horns? Got that damn
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: deliverance like a pig. Listen to me, I'm supposed to
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: being deliverance. But you know, Burt, we don't say. Look
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: ned baby got the part he was supposed to get.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: Listen to me. You can't remake. See that's some groups
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: we don't want you to touch. Don't touch the Iss
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: the Brothers Boys to Atlantics. Don't touch go for your guns.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: You can't touch that. Don't touch no Early Smoky Robinson
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: and the Miracles really don't touch none of Stevie Wonder
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: unless Steven say, don't touch nothing. Who y'all think they
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: should not touch? What music? Luther can't Redoun, Quickney, Whitney,
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: Michael Jacks. I've got a chance to wrap up, But
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: you can't say that Michael Jackson not the greatest entertainer
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: that ever lived. We grew up with Michael Jacks. The
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: things you can't do. It's a couple of silver songs
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: you can't touch. Bless me. Wait, wait, wait, Chad chance
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: of good dude. He said whatever he said, he said
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: that Beyonce better performing. That's a argument right there. That's
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: a that's a soul full restaurant argument. Right. No, no, no,
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: listen to me. Beyonce and I have seen them all
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: is the greatest female performer of all time, of all time.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: I have seen them all. Yes, I've seen Whitney, I've
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: seen the Supremes. I saw uh Tina Turner, I saw
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: a wreathough, I've seen a need to Break, I've seen
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: shot Day, I've seen Shock can't. I haven't seen the emotions.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: I haven't see everybody. The greatest female performer of all
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: times women, she the greatest, the greatest thing. In the
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: middle of park in a rainstorm, That's what I need
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: to know this. She is singing in the middle of
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: such a part like Dona Ross did in the rainstorm
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: in a cat suit. That's performing. Sorry, Now, the greatest diva,
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: the greatest living diva is of all time, the diva
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: of all this, but the greatest cooking diva. That sign
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: is patting the ball. I need some Poe. I need
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: Patty Poe, I need Patty. Play white minute. Yes, yes, dude,
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: Michael as Michael Jackson is the greatest performance. He's bigger
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: than anybody could ever get. Let's see, this is what
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: happened when old people talk about music. They up Motown.
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: Motown made me want to get a curl and a
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: glove and a sparkly jack had all that. That takes
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: nothing away from Beyonce. Nothing away right here, Oh, don't
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: touch mad for me to say it, it's hard to
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: say she was a better performing than Mark. I love
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: Mavi Gay don't not sing it, we you know, but
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: Beyonce could sing to the That's what makes this girl incredible.
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: She could, she sang, she performs, She a visionary. I
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: would put her as the second greatest performance, second grades performance. Yes, yeah, sorry, Joe,
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: to see is not the greatest band boy, Yeah no,
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: it's Michael is Michael Beyonce? Then jo I don't I
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: don't see well, first of all, to be drunk and
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: make music like that, speaking on it, speak on it
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: and don't touch pour power with Lenny Williams. Look in
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: the top five, look like in the topic I gotta go.
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: I gotta go. Sorry, Steve, I mean cut you out,
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: but I got to go. Shut up. Thank you, Cheryl,
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: We love you girls. Up next, Steve has more on
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: junior crushes. Yes, yes, yes, let's do enough for here
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: with the Memorial Day barbecue dudes. And hey, that's right,
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: come getting and grilling tips. We're gonna do all that
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: right after. Come get it. You're listening to the Steve
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: Morning Show. Alright, uncle nf are here. You know it's
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: Memorial Day weekend this coming weekend R three y y
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: so lovely. So you guys, you unc and never have
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: some grilling tips for some of the grill the rules
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: and all of that. Yeah, let's get started. What you got.
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: Do you clean your grill? Uh? Not that much. I
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: really just I really just brush off the residue from
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: the last time fall into the flame. Yeah, but I
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: don't clean the grill completely. Don't clean on that heat
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: hit it that he hit, I put I put that
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: grill over that fire. Five kill all germ and just
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: but it leaves. I'll take my steel brushing clean it.
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: But I want that season and and there you do.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: Now walk me through this. Walk me through marinade and
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: a slab of reel. Now, marinading a slab of reel
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: for me is very simple because you can do it overnight,
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: but it's not necessary. I do like the thirty five
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: forty five hour long process. The first thing I do,
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: I go down to Walmart and they got this thing
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: that can peel the skin off the back of the reels.
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: First day, the little the little thin layer skin that
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: that's real chewy. I takes that off. See I peel
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: that off. Keep going. I'm listening because this is how
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: you really get your meat to taste right. To take
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: that skin off that's on the bones side of the reels,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: get you feel like and you should be cooking. I
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: only use a dry rub. That's all I use. And
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: I have a special dry rub that I use. All right,
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: so you put that on. How long you just let that? Now? First,
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: I got my fire outside going right, But I prefer
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: the big green egg. That's what I got you. That's
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: the best way. Then once I get that coals down there,
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: I pull them to three quarters side of the grill
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: because I got the big one, and I leave a
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: four for the grill with no cold under it. I
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: pulled all the cold forward, so I'm only on three
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: fourths of the grill backs in case my meat gets
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: to go on a little hot. I got a little cools,
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: but I can push the meat to keep it from
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: direct heat and cooking. Then when I shut the lead down,
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: I monitored the dampers and the drafts on it to
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: keep it around to seventy five to fift. That's good
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: cooking tempt right there. Two fifty to seventy. You got
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: that green egg in there. Now, I scrub my meat
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: with this dry rub. I take it out there and
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: I set it on the grill, real upside down, real
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: up side down, at two seventy five, and I shut
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: it fifty five minutes later. Come on, take them off,
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: open the lid, and you can start eating baby backs. Yes, sir,
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: do you ever wrap yours in four? No? I do not. Okay,
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: you've seen that process though, right, I've seen. It's nothing
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: wrong with it. You put them on, but you can
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: put them on for about forty five what about thirty
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: minutes and then take them off, wrap and put them
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: back on and let him cook the rest of the
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: way in the fall. See, I don't wrap my meat? Well,
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: is there a problem with wrapping your beat? I mean sounds.
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: I'm just saying it. Ain't you sing again? But it's
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: not the same. Come on, I felt like I have
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: going the room, I bet, But fifty five to fifty
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: seven minutes on one side, I have a flipped the meat, right,
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: I never flip it because what happens is when you
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: cook it just bones side down and you know, ain't
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: no meat on the bone side of the real seat.
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: But what it does is it seals it real nice,
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: and it keeps the meat real juicy because you put
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: a seer on the bone side and then the smoke
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: and my wood chips cooked the meat on the top.
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: So why do people flip their meat. I mean I
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: see that. I mean my brother flipp is me, my
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: daddy Flipps. Just don't. I just don't because it's not
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: necessary and you get you get a real tender piece
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: of baby back. I do this now. I'm trying to
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: man ask anybody that didn't have my ribs. Now here's
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: what a lot of people don't perfect because now you
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: did tell me on the something that was good, that
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: lump cold. I never knew nothing about that. That's the
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: only thing I messed with. That's that's uh, what's that?
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: That's that's like wood that's already been burned before. Yeah,
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: and it's what they have all fives Yeah, all them
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: charred trees. That's what it is. That's perfect for barbecuing.
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: Love Co. Central Market got hurt. That's the best of it.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: I bet a lot of fellas at Central Market grocery store.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: It's made by Center Market. Well they're bagging up, it's
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: what I mean. Well, yeah, it's it's all the same.
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: But Green Egg has a good version. That's usually the
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: most burned. You know, because you could see some of
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: the wood and some of it. You ain't ever seen
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: the Green eggs. The smoker, not actually green eggs and
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: hamp this this, this is too much, not only not cooked,
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: she don't even know the brands of applying small green
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: eggs at the barbecue. Oh my, upset though, that's what

- 1:25:05Speaker 1: Men like to barbecue and stuff and women do side. Yeah,
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: some women grill some women is a racist statement? Was
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: that sexist bias? Or whatever you want? I want to
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: move myself. My wife always do the side. That's why
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: I say that. Yeah, gal to Marjorie can actually griel
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: pretty good? Yeah I can grew up. She can actually
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: griel pretty good? Can your father law greal? Man? I

- 1:25:38Speaker 1: What do you ask me? Yeah? I can. My husband,
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: he's the one that actually does the girling. But I can't.
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: I don't like to. It's a lot of work. You
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: got pay attention, and it's hot. You got pay attention.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: Now you'll have smoked, Yeah, that's all, which is a problem.
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: I don't have brown smell smoke. Now, do you make
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: your own sauce? You're own barbecue sauce or what? I
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: got two barbecue recipes? Give me one. There's a barbecue
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: sauce called Old George T. I don't know about that.
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: Just fine, Old George T. Barbecue sauce. Got an old
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: black dude. They got honey bourbon maple. I used two
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: bottles of that. Man, Hold on, let me give you
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: my recipe. No, I can't get that weight. Have you tried,
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: sweet baby? Oh? I had plenty of that. But it's
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: it's it's all right. If you want the best job
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: barbecue sauce that you ain't got to do nothing to
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: William's Brothers. Williams Brothers barbecue sauce is the one where
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: you ain't got to do nothing to it. Okay, let
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: me And it's better than Sweet Baby Raised. I'm telling
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: you to Oh, yes it is. I'm googling now Sweet
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: Baby Raises? All right? Is it ain't bad? I ain't
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: got no complaints against it. I think it's one of
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: the second on excuse me, Steve, you're googling what time
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: Willian brother That's not it you because you are you
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: spelling Williams for google it? Oh boy, Williams Brothers. Other
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: one that's a pretty good one that you can get
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: a barbecues glow. It's bones sucking sauce. Is that the
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: same as barbecue's galore? That's what I said. Say go
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: Bobby Roberto, Okay, I see him. What it's Williamson. It's
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: what it's not. It's not it's Williams. Somebody. It's two
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: brothers on here. I see him when you go in
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: the store. Ain't nobody gonna get you something else? What
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: you're tripping for? William Williamson and the William brother they
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: are to George. I see them. They get that now.
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: The other one is that you can get it. Barbeque
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: glow is bones sucking sauce. Got a white labor blowner.
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: That's the other best snowball. The sweet baby raised is
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: all right, really, it's all I see when it's good.
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: It's all right, Tommy. But if you taste Williams, some
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: brothers and bone sucking sauce, you're gonna put the sweet
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: baby raid down. Really. Now, let me tell you what
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: you all to get in bobecue glone, what old mute
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: old mut y'all don't know, y'all don't know them about

- 1:29:55Speaker 1: a little mustard and a little brown sugar to taste.
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: But have it sick in a pot on the low
