- 1:44Speaker 4: mouth turn out to.
- 1:46Speaker 3: Turn al the wanted jump wouldn't come.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Come out.
- 1:59Speaker 6: You're thinking, uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 6: You're listening to the voice, come on dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 6: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Man, oh man, oh man. Wow.
- 2:16Speaker 6: I think about all the things God has done for
- 2:19Speaker 6: me as overwhelming at times, and I want everybody to
- 2:23Speaker 6: have that feeling and to sharing that feeling of completion
- 2:27Speaker 6: and satisfaction. And the only reason I got this, and
- 2:30Speaker 6: this the thousandth time I've said it, is because I
- 2:34Speaker 6: formed a relationship with my creator.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Period.
- 2:37Speaker 2: That's it. That's it.
- 2:40Speaker 6: I can't tell you as anything else else. You know,
- 2:42Speaker 6: I've always had a strong work ethic. My father put
- 2:45Speaker 6: that in me. My father's conversation with me growing up
- 2:49Speaker 6: was always constantly about work hard, don't be lazy, be
- 2:53Speaker 6: a man, do what you say you're gonna do. YadA YadA, YadA,
- 2:56Speaker 6: YadA YadA. Man, I was so tired of my father
- 2:58Speaker 6: at times. I was going, Man, what is with this dude?
- 3:01Speaker 1: Right here?
- 3:02Speaker 6: Man, every time we have a conversation, it's got to
- 3:04Speaker 6: be about work. It's got to be about you know, man,
- 3:08Speaker 6: doing your best, trying hard, you know, working and being honest,
- 3:12Speaker 6: do what you say you're gonna do.
- 3:14Speaker 2: But that was his mission. I can't tell you how
- 3:18Speaker 2: much I appreciate that now.
- 3:20Speaker 6: I can't even I can't even put it into words
- 3:23Speaker 6: when I think about my old man and what he
- 3:26Speaker 6: was to me, and I just, man, I'm so grateful
- 3:31Speaker 6: for that balance I had in my life. And then
- 3:34Speaker 6: my father was a fighter. If he fought on the weekends,
- 3:39Speaker 6: you know, my father used to come home with his
- 3:42Speaker 6: with his clothes toe off of him. He put a
- 3:44Speaker 6: fresh shirt on, and he go back. My mom used
- 3:47Speaker 6: to talk about my father fighting all the time, snick
- 3:49Speaker 6: while you are always fighting. You know a little bit
- 3:53Speaker 6: of that rubbed out for me too. You know, that
- 3:55Speaker 6: kind of got into me and I didn't understand that either.
- 3:59Speaker 6: But they're on the same. My mother was a Sunday
- 4:01Speaker 6: school teacher for forty years, so her conversation was never
- 4:04Speaker 6: about fighting or anything. It was all about love and
- 4:07Speaker 6: understanding and doing another that you would have to do
- 4:10Speaker 6: unto you. My mom was a Sunday school teacher, so
- 4:12Speaker 6: I learned about faith. I had to go to Sunday school,
- 4:15Speaker 6: prayer meeting, Bible study, young people meeting, choir rehearsal. You know,
- 4:20Speaker 6: I was a churchman so much I was actually looking
- 4:23Speaker 6: as there's got to be an alternative to this, you know.
- 4:26Speaker 6: I want you know, I was a little kid even
- 4:29Speaker 6: I was thinking at one point, maybe out of looking
- 4:31Speaker 6: to al, because there's got to be something cooler than.
- 4:34Speaker 2: This going on every day. It had got that crazy
- 4:37Speaker 2: for me.
- 4:38Speaker 6: But the balance between those two people created who I
- 4:41Speaker 6: am today. And I want you to understand that the
- 4:44Speaker 6: things that you are in your past have helped create
- 4:48Speaker 6: who you are today. If you view it the right way,
- 4:53Speaker 6: everything that has happened to you in your past has
- 4:56Speaker 6: happened to you for a reason, and it's usually for
- 5:00Speaker 6: the good.
- 5:00Speaker 2: If you view it that way.
- 5:04Speaker 6: But if you, on the other hand, are a type
- 5:07Speaker 6: of person who can't move forward because you are allowing
- 5:11Speaker 6: your past to stop you from having your future. Then you,
- 5:16Speaker 6: my friend, are doing a disservice to your life. You
- 5:21Speaker 6: are not honoring God's blessings. You are not taking advantage
- 5:26Speaker 6: of the gay, knowledge, wisdom.
- 5:28Speaker 2: And experience of your life.
- 5:32Speaker 6: Example, if you are a woman and you are always
- 5:38Speaker 6: talking about a former relationship, what he did to me.
- 5:43Speaker 6: If he had not did this to me, I wouldn't
- 5:47Speaker 6: be in this place today. I thought I had a man.
- 5:51Speaker 6: Now I ain't got no man. Allah lah lah lah lah.
- 5:57Speaker 2: If I you know, he came along and I was
- 6:00Speaker 2: doing just swell, he just came in and he just
- 6:03Speaker 2: lied to me. He lied to me. Now that he
- 6:07Speaker 2: did this to me, Then he cheated, then he left.
- 6:10Speaker 2: All of that that you say can very well be true.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Have you thought that maybe maybe somewhere.
- 6:21Speaker 6: In God's infinite wisdom, that he knew that you had
- 6:27Speaker 6: made a mistake in picking him anyway? Maybe he knew
- 6:32Speaker 6: you had made a mistake in saying yes or I
- 6:36Speaker 6: do to him anyway, or come on, move in?
- 6:41Speaker 2: And so what he did was.
- 6:44Speaker 6: Based on your decision now to say yes, I do
- 6:48Speaker 6: or come on, let's move in together.
- 6:50Speaker 2: That was your decision. You ain't go to him about
- 6:53Speaker 2: this one. You made this decision.
- 6:56Speaker 6: Based on that decision and all the negative things that
- 7:00Speaker 6: started happening, he allowed you to get away from it.
- 7:04Speaker 6: Now how you got away from it? It's always not
- 7:07Speaker 6: the choice of ours. See, you stuck on the fact
- 7:11Speaker 6: that he left, that he walked out. But let me
- 7:14Speaker 6: share this with you. When he was there, how good
- 7:17Speaker 6: was he to you? How good was he for you? See,
- 7:22Speaker 6: you got to stare at you got to look at
- 7:24Speaker 6: the blessing. The blessing is. Now you are on your own.
- 7:29Speaker 6: Now you walk in your house. Ain't nobody in there
- 7:32Speaker 6: with a disruptive spirit.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Now you go home. You could take your clothes off,
- 7:37Speaker 2: walk around like you want to.
- 7:38Speaker 6: Now you go home, you can sit down and look
- 7:41Speaker 6: at TV or catch your breath if you want to.
- 7:47Speaker 6: Your kids don't have to see y'all arguing all the time.
- 7:50Speaker 6: Have you looked at the blessing in it? But now
- 7:54Speaker 6: if you gonna keep looking at the negative, then guess what.
- 7:57Speaker 6: Now you can't move forward because you keep allowing your
- 8:02Speaker 6: past to keep you from moving forward. If God has
- 8:07Speaker 6: brought you through it, why don't you move on from it? Look,
- 8:12Speaker 6: you got through it. He gone, well, he ain't coming back.
- 8:15Speaker 6: He got somebody else, So you gonna sit there and
- 8:18Speaker 6: just keep tripping costs. He gone and he got somebody else. Hey,
- 8:22Speaker 6: pick yourself up. Thank God for the blessing. It didn't
- 8:26Speaker 6: feel like a blessing. Why you was going through it,
- 8:29Speaker 6: and all the pain of him leaving and the divorce
- 8:32Speaker 6: and all that messed you up? Got it when you
- 8:35Speaker 6: get through it, all of that. You ain't the first
- 8:37Speaker 6: one being left. You ain't the first one being divorced.
- 8:40Speaker 6: You ain't the first one been in a bad relationship.
- 8:43Speaker 6: Pick yourself up, Thank God for the blessing, and move
- 8:48Speaker 6: forward in your life, because maybe when you quit complaining,
- 8:52Speaker 6: maybe you'll find out that God has something in store
- 8:56Speaker 6: for you that he wants you to have, but he
- 8:59Speaker 6: can't give it to you if you ain't grateful. So
- 9:02Speaker 6: God gives you a blessing, but because you don't see
- 9:05Speaker 6: it as a blessing, you ain't grateful for it. Now,
- 9:07Speaker 6: guess what, You steady asking God to do something for you,
- 9:12Speaker 6: but you ain't thanking him for what he's done for you,
- 9:14Speaker 6: but you steady wanting him to do more.
- 9:17Speaker 2: How does that work? How does that work?
- 9:20Speaker 7: Man?
- 9:20Speaker 6: That He should keep on giving you things when you
- 9:23Speaker 6: ain't even working with the stuff he Didne gave you.
- 9:27Speaker 2: And I don't know.
- 9:28Speaker 6: And I'm just using that one example. It could go
- 9:30Speaker 6: for me and two vice versa, and on and so forth.
- 9:34Speaker 6: I'm just using that as an example. Now, why I
- 9:37Speaker 6: laid on that one so long? You have to take
- 9:39Speaker 6: that over God. That's all the sweet I ain't pointing
- 9:42Speaker 6: fingers a nobody in nothing because I've been guilty on
- 9:45Speaker 6: both sides of the coin.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Who am I?
- 9:48Speaker 6: But I'm just sharing with you what I had to do.
- 9:51Speaker 6: I had to learn to stop allowing my past to
- 9:54Speaker 6: interfere with my future.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show, Ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:02Speaker 6: It's another day, another dawning, another opportunity to another chance,
- 10:06Speaker 6: another blessing, another gift from God. I'm so glad about it, man,
- 10:10Speaker 6: I appreciate all of these. Today is the day that
- 10:13Speaker 6: the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad
- 10:16Speaker 6: in it. I'm sitting up in here, just glad in it.
- 10:20Speaker 2: I'm glad in it.
- 10:22Speaker 6: Woke up the little startled this morning, got off to
- 10:25Speaker 6: a little rough start. Settle myself on down when on
- 10:28Speaker 6: got glad Yep, I'm here I am here. Something happened
- 10:34Speaker 6: yesterday that did not go according to plan?
- 10:37Speaker 2: Yes, what I made it anyway? Yep.
- 10:40Speaker 6: Now today I don't know what today holds, but I
- 10:44Speaker 6: expect some great things today.
- 10:46Speaker 2: And if some.
- 10:47Speaker 6: Challenges arise, I'm gonna handle them with the right attitude.
- 10:51Speaker 6: I'm gonna perform all my tasks joyfully. You know, sometimes, man,
- 10:56Speaker 6: you gotta be careful. You know, like when you're paying
- 10:58Speaker 6: bills and stuff. You're gonna sick of pay and these
- 11:00Speaker 6: bills hold up? Man, slow down.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Do you know how good it is to have the
- 11:04Speaker 2: money to pay the bill?
- 11:05Speaker 5: Now?
- 11:06Speaker 6: I know you don't want to do it, but do
- 11:08Speaker 6: you realize how good it is to have the money
- 11:10Speaker 6: to pay the bill? There is a scripture somewhere. I
- 11:13Speaker 6: don't want to get this wrong, so surely help me out.
- 11:16Speaker 6: Money answer with all things. It didn't say money was
- 11:21Speaker 6: the solution. All it's saying is money allows you to respond.
- 11:28Speaker 6: Money answer with all things. It don't mean it's gonna
- 11:32Speaker 6: fix it. It don't mean it's gonna settle it right,
- 11:35Speaker 6: but it just allows you to respond. What the book
- 11:39Speaker 6: is that shirt?
- 11:40Speaker 1: It's Ecclesiastes. I always thought that was elastic elastics.
- 11:47Speaker 6: Let me sure the strawberry called frail missr Demonica JUNIORR.
- 11:50Speaker 6: Nephew Tom Shirley.
- 11:52Speaker 2: What is it now? What it says?
- 11:55Speaker 1: It says the feast is made for laughter and wine.
- 11:59Speaker 3: Make it Mary, but money answer with all things, curse
- 12:03Speaker 3: not the king, No, not in thy thought, and curse
- 12:06Speaker 3: not the rich in thy bedchamber chamber. For a bird
- 12:10Speaker 3: of the air shall carry the voice, and that which
- 12:14Speaker 3: hath wings shall tell the matter.
- 12:17Speaker 2: That was King James version.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, good thing. I know the rest of that
- 12:21Speaker 1: come show. But as with all things, Yeah.
- 12:27Speaker 8: I.
- 12:29Speaker 2: Don't think it solves it. I don't think it is
- 12:32Speaker 2: the answer your money to meet you.
- 12:35Speaker 6: Yeah, but it allows you to respond. You can respond
- 12:38Speaker 6: when you have money. You could just respond. It answered,
- 12:42Speaker 6: Hey man, we're gonna give you an victory. We put
- 12:44Speaker 6: a viction notice on your door. How much I owe you.

- 13:02Speaker 3: It says people should not set their hearts and focus
- 13:05Speaker 3: on their wealth or else they will become desensitized to
- 13:09Speaker 3: the things of God.
- 13:12Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm not desensitized, but the things of God. But
- 13:16Speaker 6: when you first started reading that, I was on my

- 17:05Speaker 12: Yeah, I don't know what this is.
- 17:07Speaker 10: An insurance company, This is a reperble company. We don't
- 17:11Speaker 10: ensure call girls are strippers.
- 17:14Speaker 5: So I'm trying to ensure my product. I mean, the
- 17:16Speaker 5: way the economy is right now, everybody got to look
- 17:19Speaker 5: out for themself. But I got to ensure what I
- 17:20Speaker 5: need to ensure so in case things go bad, Man,
- 17:23Speaker 5: I can bounce back on that.
- 17:24Speaker 10: I understand that, sir, and I do.

- 18:05Speaker 5: something else down, like you know, a counselor you know,
- 18:08Speaker 5: he's costitutes. You want to ensure hostitute. I'm not saying that, man,
- 18:13Speaker 5: I'm not stop saying that. Don't say that no more.
- 18:15Speaker 5: That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying that.
- 18:18Speaker 10: That's what they are saying.
- 18:19Speaker 12: Well, why don't you put our PC?
- 18:21Speaker 5: Man? Why don't you Why don't you put down pleasure
- 18:23Speaker 5: consultant for him man.
- 18:24Speaker 10: Pleasure consulting. Sir, we don't do that here. I don't
- 18:29Speaker 10: know how to help you, sir, we don't do that here.
- 18:32Speaker 5: You can't ensure a prostitute. Then I tell you, don't

- 21:20Speaker 1: Anyway, thank you nephew.
- 21:23Speaker 3: Coming up next, it is asked to clo with our
- 21:26Speaker 3: Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey in the.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Building right after.
- 21:32Speaker 8: I'm partnering with PayPal my strategy this Black Friday and
- 21:36Speaker 8: stacking deals on tech category gift purchases and using my
- 21:41Speaker 8: PayPal debit card. I'm earning five percent cash back on

- 21:49Speaker 8: this month with my PayPal debit card. Snagging a laptop
- 21:53Speaker 8: for my daughter and a smart watch for my mother
- 21:56Speaker 8: in law.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Don't just pay PayPal.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Up at the top of the hour and trending headlines
- 22:02Speaker 3: and entertainment news, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala
- 22:06Speaker 3: Harris are together again since the election to honor veterans
- 22:11Speaker 3: Plus and Entertainment News Kevin Costner was surprised about his
- 22:15Speaker 3: Yellowstone fate and the monkey escape.
- 22:17Speaker 1: The search continues.
- 22:19Speaker 3: We talked about as yesterday while we say I'm mad
- 22:28Speaker 3: about Yellowstone anyway. We'll talk about all of these stories
- 22:31Speaker 3: at the top of the hour, but right now it
- 22:33Speaker 3: is time to ask the clo. Our chief Love Officer,
- 22:37Speaker 3: Steve Harvey is right here in the building. This is
- 22:40Speaker 3: from Waylon Colo in Montgomery. Whalan writes, I've been married
- 22:45Speaker 3: for twenty eight years and I'm in the guest room
- 22:47Speaker 3: because my wife has a ceiling fan and TV on
- 22:51Speaker 3: all night. All of a sudden, she won't compromise. She's
- 22:55Speaker 3: never done this before. So is this a phase or
- 22:58Speaker 3: is she getting tired of being married?
- 23:00Speaker 6: Let's tired of you? Don't I think you know? If
- 23:06Speaker 6: it's menopause, O, dog, you're gonna have that fan on.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Never give damn what you say at all. Yeah, that's all.
- 23:12Speaker 1: That's all it is.
- 23:13Speaker 6: Don't care what you say. You might have to be
- 23:15Speaker 6: a little bit more understanding during this period right here. Now,
- 23:20Speaker 6: let's get back to this part right here. What you
- 23:22Speaker 6: think right now, way low on the pole, waay low,
- 23:29Speaker 6: way low.
- 23:30Speaker 1: On the pope.
- 23:32Speaker 6: What you what you think right now is in that
- 23:35Speaker 6: I don't give a damn a column. So just deal
- 23:39Speaker 6: with that, bro, all right.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Moving on to Brien Tupelo, Brie says, I was buying
- 23:44Speaker 3: groceries and a man that lives next to my mom
- 23:47Speaker 3: slid me one hundred dollars and said that he's happy
- 23:49Speaker 3: to help me with my purchase. I told my mom
- 23:52Speaker 3: and she seemed to be jealous. Why is she mad
- 23:54Speaker 3: because I accepted the money?
- 23:56Speaker 1: Why is she hat?
- 23:58Speaker 2: Yeah, he's slid her.
- 24:00Speaker 6: Mama hate See see mama been in town looking at
- 24:03Speaker 6: the man across sheet.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Show you nothing.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Man.
- 24:06Speaker 6: He tried to help you. But I want you to
- 24:08Speaker 6: understand something now. When you're a fisherman. When you were
- 24:11Speaker 6: a deep sea fisherman, they had this thing called chumming.
- 24:14Speaker 6: It's ground up fish and blood and stuff that they
- 24:18Speaker 6: throw in the water to attract fish. It's like it's
- 24:22Speaker 6: a form of baiting. You just got baited. Yeah, he
- 24:27Speaker 6: ain't slid You just hunting for nothing. Men don't do
- 24:30Speaker 6: nothing for nothing.
- 24:33Speaker 1: They always want something slide.
- 24:37Speaker 2: There be more than it. I can help you out
- 24:39Speaker 2: with some couple of things.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Let me know.
- 24:41Speaker 3: Well, if she didn't say no, she just wants in
- 24:43Speaker 3: a wire, mom and back to my house. You tell her, Mamma,
- 24:48Speaker 3: my mama.
- 24:49Speaker 1: Yeah, working, I guess what.
- 24:58Speaker 6: That man to stay across the street, one with his
- 25:00Speaker 6: hands someone He saved me a hundred at the grocery
- 25:03Speaker 6: store yesterday and told me anytime I need some help,
- 25:06Speaker 6: people willing to help me.
- 25:07Speaker 1: Tell my.
- 25:13Speaker 2: Many times I have seen you at that day a
- 25:15Speaker 2: worthy store.
- 25:16Speaker 3: There no more gusts, all right. Moving on to Cora
- 25:26Speaker 3: in o'cliff. Cora says, there's no nice way to put it.
- 25:31Speaker 3: I'm the pastor's side chick, and rumors are starting to
- 25:34Speaker 3: spread like wildflower wildfire. I mean, he said I need
- 25:38Speaker 3: to go to another church. I was at that church
- 25:41Speaker 3: long before him, So why should I leave? Is this
- 25:44Speaker 3: the only way to stop the rumors?
- 25:48Speaker 6: Well, the real way to stop the rumors, to stop
- 25:51Speaker 6: being side chick. But I don't really see you. I
- 25:55Speaker 6: don't know how they ain't. I don't know how they am.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Option obviously that's not it.
- 25:59Speaker 6: That ain't no option. There's no easy way to put this.
- 26:01Speaker 6: I'm gonna past the side chick. Rumors are swirling because
- 26:05Speaker 6: they busting y'all. Y'all stupid, come on faster. But now
- 26:11Speaker 6: his his both of y'all. It ain't neither one of y'all.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Right.
- 26:15Speaker 6: He his solution is you need to go to another
- 26:20Speaker 6: church because you're gonna still be my side people. My
- 26:26Speaker 6: thing is, why do I have to go to another church?
- 26:30Speaker 6: I was here before he came, and I'm gonna be
- 26:33Speaker 6: right here because I'm gonna be his side piece. But
- 26:35Speaker 6: I'm gonna be right here. Ain't nobody trying to solve
- 26:40Speaker 6: the problem. Here we go Bishop Bonner, Bishop Bronna down
- 26:46Speaker 6: in Atlanta. Man, y'all members of his church, please tell
- 26:49Speaker 6: him how much Steve Harvey appreciate him for his dessit.
- 26:53Speaker 1: She gave me that has changed my entire I could.
- 26:56Speaker 1: It just helped me so much.
- 27:00Speaker 6: Careful of people who play the victim with the problem
- 27:04Speaker 6: and the situation that they created themselves.
- 27:10Speaker 2: She want to know why why she got to leave
- 27:12Speaker 2: the church? She was there first?
- 27:14Speaker 1: What has that out?
- 27:22Speaker 6: Because dog, it is obvious there is she all up
- 27:25Speaker 6: in the past to study after service. You know when
- 27:28Speaker 6: the first lady ain't there, she close She ke all
- 27:33Speaker 6: on each other after service.
- 27:36Speaker 1: She's so fun.
- 27:37Speaker 2: You know, she's sitting on the front road.
- 27:42Speaker 6: Costumes. I can't get his cologne. She shouting when ain't
- 27:51Speaker 6: nobody else shouting.
- 27:52Speaker 1: I'm right, she's running all around the church. Did you
- 28:00Speaker 1: Jess Jesus will the absolute most? Ye?
- 28:10Speaker 3: Yep, okay, yeah, all right? Last one, Steve. This is
- 28:16Speaker 3: Leon in Hyde Park. Leon writes, I keep my weed
- 28:20Speaker 3: and a marble container on the mantel.
- 28:23Speaker 1: And it looks like decoration.
- 28:25Speaker 3: Our grandkids are six and three and babysat them this
- 28:30Speaker 3: past weekend.
- 28:31Speaker 1: So my wife threw my weed in the toilet. The
- 28:35Speaker 1: kids can't even reach it. How could she justify this?
- 28:41Speaker 2: She don't want the kids asking no question about that
- 28:43Speaker 2: grass and their job.
- 28:47Speaker 1: Did you just say grass?
- 28:50Speaker 6: Because that's what babies? You know, a little kid they
- 28:52Speaker 6: three years, right, Papa? Why you got that grass in
- 28:55Speaker 6: their job?
- 28:56Speaker 1: There? How you know what they did? That's a regular.
- 29:03Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 29:03Speaker 1: He said they can't reach it.
- 29:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I know they can't reach it.
- 29:06Speaker 6: But she didn't throw What you want to do though,
- 29:09Speaker 6: I mean, if she didn't flush it down the tallet,
- 29:11Speaker 6: what is you writing us about?
- 29:12Speaker 2: It couldn't have been that in what is you complaining
- 29:17Speaker 2: in a marble container.
- 29:21Speaker 1: It can't be that much by what a dollar? Come on, mane.
- 29:25Speaker 11: Me.
- 29:27Speaker 2: But if it's a marble container, you can't see in.
- 29:29Speaker 1: It, right, Yeah?
- 29:31Speaker 2: Something she don't want to smoking.
- 29:33Speaker 1: White didn't want it in the house, period. Yeah, she
- 29:35Speaker 1: don't want that in the house, that's right.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't want it.
- 29:42Speaker 1: Yeah, Well that's it. Don't bring any more in there,
- 29:48Speaker 1: all right.
- 29:48Speaker 6: You got to hush down the toilet. That's That's like
- 29:50Speaker 6: when they knocked on my boys though. He was over
- 29:52Speaker 6: there playing cards and somebody said it's the police. Boy
- 29:55Speaker 6: toilets got the flushing all over their food's house. You
- 29:59Speaker 6: didn't know what was going on, all right, nobody but car.
- 30:05Speaker 2: God, thank you, not at all.
- 30:13Speaker 3: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 30:15Speaker 3: some entertainment news where you're right after this.
- 30:21Speaker 1: You're listening to the Hardy Morning Show.
- 30:27Speaker 3: Well, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris made
- 30:30Speaker 3: their first public appearance together since the election. They made
- 30:34Speaker 3: it yesterday honoring our nation's veterans at the Veterans Day
- 30:38Speaker 3: Ceremony at Arlington Cemetery. Madame Vice President Harris, such a
- 30:43Speaker 3: class act. I mean you know, I mean yeah, she's yeah,
- 30:46Speaker 3: move forward, let's go. So here's the question, Steve. I
- 30:52Speaker 3: know your answer is going to make me laugh. That's
- 30:55Speaker 3: why I'm already laughing before I ask it. So, so
- 30:58Speaker 3: here's a question. Would you still work or show up
- 31:01Speaker 3: at your job knowing you're about to leave?
- 31:04Speaker 1: Or have you ever quit a job without notice? That's
- 31:08Speaker 1: for all the guys.
- 31:08Speaker 6: But you say quit a job without notice, what you
- 31:12Speaker 6: mean like went in there and quit that day? That's
- 31:17Speaker 6: how I quit all man, I know every last one
- 31:22Speaker 6: of them. I ain't finish. Give you two weeks to
- 31:25Speaker 6: treat when you're bad and all this hell. No, I'm
- 31:28Speaker 6: I'm I'm I'm hey man, listen to here. I appreciate
- 31:32Speaker 6: the opportunity, but I'm gone. I went to my locker
- 31:37Speaker 6: and everything everything, I had, everything in the boxing bag.
- 31:40Speaker 6: It wasn't no one, no one. No, I'm finished going.
- 31:42Speaker 6: I'm gonna tell you this, then I'm gonna go get
- 31:43Speaker 6: my stuff. No, you ain't finna try nothing tricker with me.
- 31:46Speaker 6: Matter of fact, I have set most of my stuff
- 31:48Speaker 6: in the car, came.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Back in and made the announcement so I could just
- 31:51Speaker 2: get to this car and get the hell out of here.
- 31:54Speaker 1: You're gonna notice I ain't there. That's what the notice is.
- 31:57Speaker 2: You're gonna notice I ain't sled up. Yeah.
- 32:01Speaker 6: And like as far as Kamlak going with Joe, you
- 32:04Speaker 6: know what I mean, that's just decency. But like Joe,
- 32:08Speaker 6: My question for Joe, Joe, why Joe Biden always look
- 32:11Speaker 6: like he looking somewhere else. He don't never look like
- 32:14Speaker 6: he paying attention to nothing. He always looked like he
- 32:17Speaker 6: looking somewhere else. And you know, man, like now, they
- 32:21Speaker 6: got this theory where they think that Joe Biden should
- 32:24Speaker 6: retire from office so she could become president and become
- 32:28Speaker 6: the forty seventh president and the first female and all this.
- 32:32Speaker 6: It ain't nobody fit to do all that. That's that's
- 32:34Speaker 6: not even logistic. They can stop all that theory right now.
- 32:37Speaker 6: A lot of women trying to push for Joe Biden
- 32:39Speaker 6: to step down, retire right now now, just gon and
- 32:42Speaker 6: ride it out because Trump coming. Y'all, Trump is coming. Bill,
- 32:48Speaker 6: it's a rap. He's our president.
- 32:50Speaker 5: You know.
- 32:50Speaker 6: People over here asking me, they going, Steve, So, did
- 32:54Speaker 6: your guy win? Should we say congratulations? I said no,
- 32:56Speaker 6: not really, I didn't vote for him, I said, but
- 32:58Speaker 6: you know, because I'm and you know, I'm over here,
- 33:00Speaker 6: so I gotta, you know, be mindful of how I talk.
- 33:03Speaker 6: So I said, you know, look, we're in the democratic society.
- 33:06Speaker 6: We have to accept the results of our election. You know,
- 33:09Speaker 6: he's the president, and hopefully he telles better. I say,
- 33:12Speaker 6: I am concerned though about the common man in our country,
- 33:16Speaker 6: because I don't think he's going to tend to.
- 33:19Speaker 2: Them at all.
- 33:21Speaker 1: Really well if.
- 33:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean he didn't do nothing for nobody before.
- 33:29Speaker 1: What change.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna treat this like a hurricane or hunker down.
- 33:37Speaker 14: It is what it is.
- 33:38Speaker 1: Yeah, and we move on. So, Junior, did you quit?
- 33:45Speaker 1: You just walk off your job. And that's how I
- 33:48Speaker 1: got into comedy. What happened? That's how I got in
- 33:51Speaker 1: the comedy.
- 33:51Speaker 15: Quitn't mon prank up?
- 33:53Speaker 1: They was all their condition. I work on prison.
- 33:56Speaker 7: Yeah, I different painted the prison, making anybody in that condition,
- 33:59Speaker 7: and I'm on the black person working here.
- 34:01Speaker 2: So I just walked out.
- 34:02Speaker 15: Boston was doing what I did.
- 34:04Speaker 2: I deliver the prison.
- 34:06Speaker 15: Yeah, he's living paint to the prison.
- 34:10Speaker 9: You run all the way down there from Houston. The
- 34:11Speaker 9: hospital took down the road sharing you son that the
- 34:17Speaker 9: car was before buckets. They ain't handle you ain't handle
- 34:19Speaker 9: what I want to quiet?
- 34:23Speaker 1: So what made you quick? You said, you and your
- 34:25Speaker 1: what happened with me?
- 34:26Speaker 7: I was all the black working there, so all the
- 34:27Speaker 7: white people in the acting edition, and my black ass
- 34:29Speaker 7: coming in from the prison sweating and heat and heat.
- 34:31Speaker 7: And then they looked at me talking about gon't make
- 34:34Speaker 7: another run for u uh uh. I went to the car,
- 34:36Speaker 7: took a couple of buckets of paint with me on
- 34:38Speaker 7: the way out too.
- 34:39Speaker 15: I did that, got some old based paint, put that
- 34:41Speaker 15: in the trump.
- 34:42Speaker 7: And then I drove and they said, hey, that's good.
- 34:44Speaker 7: Where you at the trucks outside? I said, I'm on
- 34:46Speaker 7: my way home. Because he said you can't quit, I
- 34:48Speaker 7: said what I did, I'm I'm on belt Way eight
- 34:50Speaker 7: right now. You can go and best believe I can quit.
- 34:55Speaker 7: And then I was mad when I got in the
- 34:56Speaker 7: comment they gave me thirty five dollars the first night,
- 34:58Speaker 7: I said, I need to go back to that job.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Though.
- 35:10Speaker 6: All right, I think that's a rule. Though when you
- 35:13Speaker 6: quit a job, you post to steal something. Yeah, I
- 35:17Speaker 6: mean I've never left a job. Ain't taking that anywhere.
- 35:21Speaker 3: All right, let's get to this Yellowstone story. Kevin Costner
- 35:26Speaker 3: has admitted that he is in no rush to watch
- 35:29Speaker 3: the mid season premiere of his show Yellowstone, adding that
- 35:33Speaker 3: he not only just learned it even returned the other day.
- 35:36Speaker 1: We all love Kevin.
- 35:38Speaker 3: We love Kevin Costner first of all, and we love
- 35:40Speaker 3: his character on Yellowstone, John Dutton, the family's patriarch. Kevin
- 35:45Speaker 3: posted a video on ig on his page, saying that
- 35:49Speaker 3: he won't be returning to Yellowstone for the final half
- 35:52Speaker 3: of season five. Costner went on to say, quote, see

- 39:55Speaker 7: got to go down there with me to go get
- 39:56Speaker 7: him out to jail? I had to go do that,
- 39:58Speaker 7: That's what I said. I'm involved, same with this game, uninvolved.

- 56:39Speaker 1: He's still subject. Thank you, nephew.
- 56:45Speaker 3: Subject. I'm falling in love with a dancer. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 56:49Speaker 3: I've been dating a great guy for almost two years.
- 56:52Speaker 1: He is He's a fifty two year.
- 56:54Speaker 3: Old e M T and personal trainer, and he's in
- 56:58Speaker 3: tip top shape physically. He has a pass that I overlooked.
- 57:01Speaker 1: When I met him.
- 57:02Speaker 3: He used to be one of the most popular male
- 57:05Speaker 3: strippers in our city. But he retired from dancing in
- 57:08Speaker 3: his early forties because he was about to get married.
- 57:11Speaker 3: He's divorced now and he's paying a lot of child
- 57:14Speaker 3: support for us to kids, so he often teases that
- 57:18Speaker 3: he needs to go back to dancing because it pays
- 57:20Speaker 3: so well. He knows that it is very awkward when
- 57:25Speaker 3: women stare and point at him whenever we're out, because
- 57:28Speaker 3: they have seen him naked and probably have rubbed all
- 57:31Speaker 3: over his body. He assured me that it was all
- 57:34Speaker 3: in the past. I trusted him up until I saw
- 57:38Speaker 3: a Duffel bag in his closet with satin boxer briefs,
- 57:41Speaker 3: two leather g strings, a cowboy hat, hand accessories. There
- 57:51Speaker 3: was a card with a QR CO to pay extra
- 57:53Speaker 3: for lap dances and pictures, and there was a link
- 57:56Speaker 3: to book a party.
- 57:58Speaker 1: He admitted that he's back to his old tricks. He
- 58:00Speaker 1: said he's he's in business.
- 58:02Speaker 3: With two other guys to do private parties and they're
- 58:05Speaker 3: going to make a killing because the market is so
- 58:08Speaker 3: hot right now.
- 58:09Speaker 1: Then he said that he's really doing it so he
- 58:11Speaker 1: can buy me an engagement ring. I told ring.
- 58:14Speaker 3: I told him that I'd be crazy to marry a stripper.
- 58:17Speaker 3: He broke up with me, and after me trying to
- 58:19Speaker 3: apologize for five days straight, he came over and he
- 58:22Speaker 3: poured his heart out to me. He said, he'll stop
- 58:24Speaker 3: dancing if I want him to. He's my person and
- 58:27Speaker 3: I want to marry him. But what about all the
- 58:30Speaker 3: women that he's going to be grinding on? Should I
- 58:33Speaker 3: let him keep dancing or ask him to stop? Well, oh, baby,
- 58:38Speaker 3: I mean he said he'll stop if you ask him to.
- 58:41Speaker 3: But this is really not a decision that Steve and
- 58:44Speaker 3: I should be.
- 58:45Speaker 1: Making for you.
- 58:45Speaker 3: It's not this is your decision. The questions you should
- 58:49Speaker 3: be asking him are maybe this will help you make
- 58:51Speaker 3: up your mind. Can he really ever stop stripping? I mean,
- 58:55Speaker 3: he stopped in his forties, and now he's fifty two
- 58:57Speaker 3: and he's thinking he's doing it again, only for private parties?
- 59:01Speaker 1: You know? Another question? Is he a good man?
- 59:04Speaker 3: Does he do what he says he's gonna do? How
- 59:06Speaker 3: long is he planning on dancing? Maybe if he had
- 59:09Speaker 3: a stop date or something. Will he stop if he
- 59:11Speaker 3: gets enough money for the ring? Supposedly? Will you ever
- 59:14Speaker 3: be able to fully trust him? Is this really just
- 59:18Speaker 3: about the money to get the ring? These are questions
- 59:21Speaker 3: you should ask him. If he's sleeping with any of
- 59:23Speaker 3: his fellow strippers, that's a big question, any of his coworkers.
- 59:28Speaker 3: Why didn't he tell you that he went back to stripping.
- 59:31Speaker 3: Why did he keep it a secret? Where did what
- 59:35Speaker 3: come from?
- 59:36Speaker 2: You said, Is he sleeping with any of his coworkers?
- 59:39Speaker 3: Yeah, any of Yeah, if he goes to the club
- 59:41Speaker 3: or whatever, is he sleeping with any of the women?
- 59:43Speaker 2: I know you mean customers, not co workers, co workers?
- 59:47Speaker 2: Has the other two dudes?
- 59:48Speaker 1: Yeah? Or if he goes to the club and they strip, Yeah?
- 59:53Speaker 1: All right?
- 59:53Speaker 3: And you know, can you really honestly see yourself married
- 59:57Speaker 3: to a stripper with these women pointing out at him
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: when you guys go out and all of this, I
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: don't know. I don't think you'll be happy or have
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: any really joy, real joy in your life until he
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: completely stopped dancing if you stay with this guy, and
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: that's not gonna happen anytime soon. It doesn't look like so,
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: in my opinion, you guys are not ready to take
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: that next step to get married.
- 1:00:17Speaker 6: Steve, Well, well, I'm falling in love with a dance.
- 1:00:22Speaker 6: That's the name of the letter. So let you go
- 1:00:23Speaker 6: and get to this thing. I had questions throughout the
- 1:00:27Speaker 6: letter because of the information I was getting, So I'm
- 1:00:30Speaker 6: gonna question this letter as we go. I've been dating
- 1:00:33Speaker 6: a great guy for about two years. He's fifty two
- 1:00:36Speaker 6: year old EMT personal trainer. He's in tip top shaped physically. Congratulations, brother,
- 1:00:42Speaker 6: That's why I'm trying to get to heare as a
- 1:00:45Speaker 6: pass I overlooked when I'm met him. He used to
- 1:00:49Speaker 6: be one of the most popular males trippers in our city,
- 1:00:52Speaker 6: but he retired from dancing in his early forties because
- 1:00:55Speaker 6: he was about to get married. Now, let's stop right
- 1:00:58Speaker 6: here for Vinnie's There's a lot to unpack in this sentence.
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: Right here, he fifty two.
- 1:01:05Speaker 6: Now he was mother of the most popular male strippers
- 1:01:09Speaker 6: in our city. This has got to be a small town.
- 1:01:14Speaker 6: I'm just telling you right now, this is a letter
- 1:01:17Speaker 6: from a small town.
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: I have proof he.
- 1:01:20Speaker 6: Retired from dancing in his early forties because he was
- 1:01:25Speaker 6: about to get married. He's divorced now pay a lot
- 1:01:28Speaker 6: of child's ports for his two kids, so he teases
- 1:01:30Speaker 6: he need to go back to dancing because it pays
- 1:01:32Speaker 6: so well.
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: He's fifty two now. Now listen to me.
- 1:01:36Speaker 6: I do believe you could be fifty two and still
- 1:01:38Speaker 6: look good and be in shape. But I'm sixty seven,
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: so it's gonna sound like I'm hating. So let's use
- 1:01:44Speaker 6: the two people on this show that's closer to fifty two.
- 1:01:48Speaker 6: Tommy is fifty seven and Junior how old are you?
- 1:01:53Speaker 6: Junior is forty six and Tommy is fifty seven. Both
- 1:01:57Speaker 6: of them are closer to fifty two.
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: Than I am.
- 1:02:00Speaker 6: Now I'm gonna ask the ladies on this show. Would
- 1:02:04Speaker 6: you pay to see Junior on Tommy?
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: Strip?
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: Absolutely not?
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: Would you pay to see Junior on Tommy?
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: No? No, no, hard no, you just stop asking? No, Yeah, no,
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: y'all the one y'all mean that, y'all show, y'all mean
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: this nothing? Sure, ye be honest with no question, and
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: I love you guys, but I don't want to see
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: the scrippn't do this because we public don't do So
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: when we come.
- 1:02:37Speaker 6: Back, we'll figure out why anybody won't succeed this one
- 1:02:41Speaker 6: strip her.
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: Two Steam's response coming up at twenty three minutes after
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: the our Today's Strawberry Letters subject.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: I'm falling in love with a dancer. We'll get back
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: into it right after this you're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show. Listen.

- 1:03:22Speaker 1: That's by r NA.
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: Let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is I'm falling
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: in love with the stripper.
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: Well, like I said, it's a lot in this letter.
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: He's dating a great guy.
- 1:03:36Speaker 6: He's fifty two year old EMT Personal Trainer, tip top
- 1:03:40Speaker 6: physical shape that I believe I bet the brother solid congratulations.
- 1:03:44Speaker 6: Though he's a pass I overlook. He used to be
- 1:03:47Speaker 6: one of the most popular male strippers in our city.
- 1:03:50Speaker 6: This is a small town. Nobody gets the title the
- 1:03:54Speaker 6: most popular mail stripper unless you are a small ass.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: Time.
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: All right, let's just going to get that.
- 1:04:02Speaker 6: He retired from dancing in his early forties because he
- 1:04:05Speaker 6: was about to get married. He divorced now, probably because
- 1:04:08Speaker 6: he didn't stop dancing, and he's paying a lot of
- 1:04:12Speaker 6: child support for two kids. So he teases that he
- 1:04:15Speaker 6: needed to go back to stripping because it paid so well.
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: Now my question was when we left, is he's fifty
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: two now he retired in his early forties. Now I'm
- 1:04:23Speaker 6: gonna sound like I'm hating because I'm sixty seven. So
- 1:04:26Speaker 6: I used the two examples as it was closer to
- 1:04:29Speaker 6: fifty two than I am on the show Junior who
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: is forty six, and Tommy, who is fifty seven.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: I immediately asked.
- 1:04:36Speaker 6: The ladies would they pay to see Junior on Tommy
- 1:04:40Speaker 6: stripp They laughed very hard and said it's a hard
- 1:04:45Speaker 6: hell on.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: Knock pay calls on that. Yeah, and there we will
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: take calls on the cool.
- 1:04:52Speaker 6: And then and then he knows very well the uncle
- 1:04:55Speaker 6: to see him naked and rubbed all over his body
- 1:04:57Speaker 6: because they'd been going out and they see whe been
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: pointing at him whenever we out, because they an't have
- 1:05:03Speaker 6: seen him naked and probably rubbed all over his body.
- 1:05:05Speaker 6: He assured me, as in the past, I trusted him
- 1:05:08Speaker 6: and he would go until I saw a duffel bag
- 1:05:10Speaker 6: in his closet with sertain box of breeze two letter
- 1:05:13Speaker 6: g strains a cowboy had inaccessories. Now, Tommy said before
- 1:05:17Speaker 6: we left on the break, he would look cold in
- 1:05:20Speaker 6: that cowboy I would like to tell y'all that if
- 1:05:24Speaker 6: Tommy put that cowboy hat and come out on a strip,
- 1:05:28Speaker 6: you're gonna think you looking.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: At toy stores.
- 1:05:35Speaker 5: What he.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: All times? Little Tommy and that cowboy cold.
- 1:05:46Speaker 6: When he put that cowboy head, you're gonna sitting at
- 1:05:49Speaker 6: the strip player watching the touch stories. Junior gonna come
- 1:05:54Speaker 6: out as that little once in a little hippo in
- 1:05:56Speaker 6: the torch store, that little Yeah Junior.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: Gonna come on.
- 1:06:00Speaker 6: So we'll be actually be watching toy store and QR
- 1:06:04Speaker 6: Cold to pay for extra lap dancing pictures. And there's
- 1:06:07Speaker 6: a leaked the book a party. Well, he got busted,
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: so he admitted he's back to his old trick. He said,
- 1:06:13Speaker 6: he's in business with two other guys that do private
- 1:06:16Speaker 6: parties and they gonna make a killing because the market
- 1:06:19Speaker 6: is hot right now. See but when you fifty two
- 1:06:26Speaker 6: and you go back into a market that's hot once again.
- 1:06:30Speaker 6: We in a small town ring your fifty two year
- 1:06:32Speaker 6: old ass out here in Atlanta, New York. If you
- 1:06:35Speaker 6: want to, you gonna find out you ain't no where
- 1:06:36Speaker 6: niars finding you thought you was because they gonna have
- 1:06:39Speaker 6: them young stallions dancing around. Boy, that's got it going old.
- 1:06:44Speaker 6: Then he said he's really doing it so he can
- 1:06:46Speaker 6: buy me an engagement. Rain I told him I'd be
- 1:06:50Speaker 6: crazy Mary Strip. He broke up with me, and after
- 1:06:53Speaker 6: me trying to apologize some five straight days, he came over.
- 1:06:56Speaker 6: He poured his heart out, told me he'll stop dancing
- 1:07:00Speaker 6: if I wanted. Yeah, because you know what happened. They
- 1:07:03Speaker 6: booked the gig. See fifty, this was happening after he
- 1:07:08Speaker 6: broke up, but you booked the GM if theydn't work out.
- 1:07:12Speaker 6: He went out there and found out they weren't hollering
- 1:07:15Speaker 6: for you to us like they was.
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: When he was forty.
- 1:07:19Speaker 6: They was raising their hand having questions like what sir,
- 1:07:23Speaker 6: so that Joe Hip could just go out so.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: Sir, we need.
- 1:07:30Speaker 6: So now He didn'et came back to you after he
- 1:07:32Speaker 6: went and booked the gig and said, baby, I'm gonna
- 1:07:34Speaker 6: just go quit dance.
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: I was out there looking like I was in tor
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: Stoy and it ain't it ain't what it was.
- 1:07:45Speaker 6: I put that leather g string on and I ain't
- 1:07:47Speaker 6: had it on since I was forty, and it ain't
- 1:07:49Speaker 6: fitting no more.
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: I was sitting up there looking like I was butt naked.
- 1:07:56Speaker 6: Yeah, because the stomach is hanging over the top of
- 1:07:59Speaker 6: the g strads from I just look like you got
- 1:08:01Speaker 6: some tape on the front of you and that nothing
- 1:08:03Speaker 6: in the back. So he said he'll stop dancing. He's
- 1:08:09Speaker 6: my person and I want to marry him. But what
- 1:08:12Speaker 6: about all the women that he's gonna be grinding on.
- 1:08:16Speaker 6: I don't think you got to worry about that too
- 1:08:18Speaker 6: much because he's fifty two. I don't think. I don't
- 1:08:21Speaker 6: think he's the stripper he used to be. I think
- 1:08:24Speaker 6: you can go in and marin. I think he had
- 1:08:26Speaker 6: a short lived career, and I think I think when
- 1:08:29Speaker 6: he came out and everybody thought it was toy story,
- 1:08:32Speaker 6: I think that might.
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: That might have saved it. Should I let him keep
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: dancing and I asked him to stop.
- 1:08:38Speaker 6: He already said he would stop, So why don't you
- 1:08:40Speaker 6: let him show you that he'll stop. See, listen to me, ladies,
- 1:08:44Speaker 6: here's an opportunity to make a man let himself prove
- 1:08:47Speaker 6: and say you didn't have don't ask him to stop.
- 1:08:50Speaker 6: He said, I will stop. Then you said, okay, then
- 1:08:55Speaker 6: you should just say show me who you really are?
- 1:08:58Speaker 6: What you want to say?
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: Tom? I just you say talking.

- 1:11:41Speaker 2: Come on over here with me. You know your expectations.
- 1:11:49Speaker 6: I tried to tell the Texas Boys at the beginning,
- 1:11:51Speaker 6: you we will We're going super Bowl?
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: What you bet.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: You're going to the playoffs? We're going. We're going to

- 1:11:59Speaker 7: We're gonna do that. We can make playoffs, we can
- 1:12:01Speaker 7: we can do that once. You definitely gonna be a playoff.

- 1:12:43Speaker 7: Well, I was saying, is Michael Parsons made a comment
- 1:12:46Speaker 7: about so Michael Parson said he don't He don't care
- 1:12:51Speaker 7: where Mike McCarthy go. He just ain't got to be
- 1:12:53Speaker 7: here no more. Now, that's a strong statement to make
- 1:12:57Speaker 7: about your head coach.
- 1:12:59Speaker 6: Carthy should have been gone. He has had the talent
- 1:13:03Speaker 6: to produce a winning roster. He is not a great
- 1:13:06Speaker 6: coach man at all. He can't take the team he
- 1:13:10Speaker 6: got and get no more wins. And he got his
- 1:13:12Speaker 6: leadership man.
- 1:13:13Speaker 15: Yeah, well, we see what happened. If they played the
- 1:13:16Speaker 15: Texas this week, we'll so.
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: Happen, We'll be great.

- 1:13:25Speaker 1: I wasn't going ahead.
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: Coming up at the top of the hour. Woman on
- 1:13:29Speaker 3: social media needs your advice, Steve. She says, I don't
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: want to spend the holidays with family. We'll talk about
- 1:13:35Speaker 3: it right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:13:39Speaker 3: Morning Show. Call me a weirdo, but I just don't
- 1:13:43Speaker 3: have that feel good holiday thing that inspires everyone to
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: spend time with their families. I don't have a close
- 1:13:49Speaker 3: relationship with my family and have in the past just
- 1:13:54Speaker 3: gone to the gatherings out of obligation. Now I'm looking
- 1:13:57Speaker 3: for advice. Here's a question, Steve, Do I even owe
- 1:14:01Speaker 3: them an explanation if I decide not to show up.
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: I'd rather spend my holiday with people who make me
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: feel good and special. So that's your question.
- 1:14:10Speaker 6: Well, you know, if you don't enjoy holidays with your
- 1:14:13Speaker 6: families because.
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: You're in the wrong family. You could be in the
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: wrong family.
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: You can't pick that.
- 1:14:21Speaker 6: But you know, if you don't have a good time
- 1:14:23Speaker 6: with them, I mean, what you want me to tell
- 1:14:25Speaker 6: you holiday probably never. It could be you, though it
- 1:14:32Speaker 6: could be everybody else seem.
- 1:14:34Speaker 9: To be having a good time. It could be you,
- 1:14:36Speaker 9: you know, maybe you think you above them. You're going
- 1:14:40Speaker 9: to go to Lubis or Gola Corral or something to
- 1:14:43Speaker 9: give us all.
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: You're gonna miss.
- 1:14:46Speaker 6: Had the worst worst takes giving me a lot ever
- 1:14:50Speaker 6: had was in West Palm Beach, Florida.
- 1:14:52Speaker 3: Man.
- 1:14:52Speaker 6: It was my first time never being home on Thanksgiving
- 1:14:56Speaker 6: in my life. Man, I had to call back to
- 1:15:00Speaker 6: the house. All my brothers was over at the house. Man,
- 1:15:04Speaker 6: Damn boy, where you at? I mean, I mean West
- 1:15:06Speaker 6: Palm Beach?
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: What ass at? What ass that? Okay?
- 1:15:15Speaker 6: Man, ain't man, where you having dinner at? I said,
- 1:15:19Speaker 6: ain't no, Dennis, I'm gonna go to dinners. I went
- 1:15:22Speaker 6: to Dinnis, Man that had the Dennis uh Thanksgiving Turkey dinners.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: Ain't no Dinnis have turkey.
- 1:15:30Speaker 6: That was the first time in my life because I
- 1:15:32Speaker 6: was twenty seven, that first time in my life I
- 1:15:34Speaker 6: ever saw white grades.
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: I didn't even know.
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: They made it a little different than what you were
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: used to.
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: Well, man, let me tell you something, boy.
- 1:15:41Speaker 6: They put the punkin pie on that plate and bought
- 1:15:44Speaker 6: it to me, and I thought it was sweet potato
- 1:15:47Speaker 6: and bit into it while he and the waitress fell out.
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: Ain't nothing like family, man, bad day. Man, that was
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: a sad day for me.
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: Especially on Thanksgiving.
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: That was a sad day.
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: The holidays can be heavy. Yeah.
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: Yeah, So she should be with her family.
- 1:16:11Speaker 3: Yeah, well does she owe them an explanation if she
- 1:16:16Speaker 3: decides not to go?
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: That's really her question. Well, I ain't know if you
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: all explination, but you're gonna damn sure had to give more.
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: Let me too.
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:16:30Speaker 3: Yeah, she said she'd rather be with people who make
- 1:16:32Speaker 3: her feel good and special, So obviously she like she said, your.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: Family come to our house with that thoughts. I said,
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: why why might make you feel good? It's special.
- 1:16:45Speaker 7: Becaus they go on to that household Thanksgiving badly the
- 1:16:49Speaker 7: first fifteen minutes walking that though And we don't know
- 1:16:53Speaker 7: you either.
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: What are y'all gonna say?
- 1:16:57Speaker 6: I'm telling you right now, you bring that down a
- 1:17:00Speaker 6: roll back over here again, it's gonna be a problem,
- 1:17:02Speaker 6: gonna be the end.
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: Of your head.
- 1:17:03Speaker 3: Wow, all right, we have time for another one, Steve.
- 1:17:09Speaker 3: This is from Serena on Facebook. She says, I share
- 1:17:12Speaker 3: an apartment with a good friend who has a bad
- 1:17:14Speaker 3: habit of borrowing my clothes and other things without asking
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: it's mostly small stuff, but it's becoming annoying, especially when
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: I want to wear something only to.
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: Find she's borrowed it.
- 1:17:25Speaker 3: I don't want to create tension between us, but I
- 1:17:27Speaker 3: also want her to respect my belongings. What's the best
- 1:17:30Speaker 3: way to handle this without making it a big deal.
- 1:17:33Speaker 6: Well, you gotta get locked on your dough Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:17:40Speaker 6: dead boat. Yeah how shut your bedroom door, pull your
- 1:17:46Speaker 6: key out.
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: Locket.
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: Because they say it's small stuff. So what is she
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: wearing of this person's like her earring, you know, maybe
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: her jewelry and maybe a few.
- 1:17:58Speaker 6: Shirt but if you put them pies leave Yeah, come
- 1:18:06Speaker 6: one drawn, uh huh.

- 1:22:50Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, I live ten years longer and make a
- 1:22:52Speaker 2: mistake every year to stay here.

- 1:23:02Speaker 1: yeah what man?
- 1:23:11Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 1:23:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I slept with her. I'm sorry.
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: I regret it.
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I slept in my bed.
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I regret that too, all right? Would you rather again?
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: God, dog, that's twice.
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: I regret it? Yeah, I regret.
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:23:36Speaker 3: Last one, guys, would you rather never leave the country,
- 1:23:40Speaker 3: never leave the country, or would you rather.
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: Leave the country and never come back? I'm getting close
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: to belly. Thanks guys. That's today's round.

- 1:24:50Speaker 3: All right, guys, here we are last break of the
- 1:24:52Speaker 3: day on this Tuesday, and Steve, it's time now for
- 1:24:57Speaker 3: you to take us out with your fabulous and light
- 1:25:00Speaker 3: closing remarks. What you got?
- 1:25:02Speaker 6: I guess today, if I were to say something to
- 1:25:06Speaker 6: try to encourage your uplift people, I don't know. I
- 1:25:11Speaker 6: have a couple of ways I could go about this.
- 1:25:13Speaker 6: Let me think it out for a second. Well, this
- 1:25:16Speaker 6: is what I want to remind people. I don't care
- 1:25:20Speaker 6: who you are. I don't care what your current situation is.
- 1:25:24Speaker 6: I don't care what you're going through. I don't care
- 1:25:27Speaker 6: what you're facing. Don't you ever ever give up? As
- 1:25:34Speaker 6: long as God is on the throne, you have a chance.
- 1:25:40Speaker 6: As long as God keeps waking you up. It's a
- 1:25:43Speaker 6: simple fact that he ain't through with you yet. Hang on, folks,
- 1:25:49Speaker 6: don't give up. Don't be so despondent about the election
- 1:25:55Speaker 6: results that it's got you in a bad state much longer. Yeah,
- 1:26:00Speaker 6: a lot of people took a hit from and I
- 1:26:02Speaker 6: understand what it's like to be disappointed. You work so
- 1:26:04Speaker 6: hard and then the results don't come out the way
- 1:26:07Speaker 6: you wanted to.
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: I got that. I can understand all of that. But
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: don't let that keep you down.
- 1:26:15Speaker 6: Get your head up, keep pushing, keep putting one foot
- 1:26:20Speaker 6: in front of the next. You know, developing faith, man,
- 1:26:25Speaker 6: is tough, but you do it a step at a time.
- 1:26:30Speaker 6: There's a scripture that says something to the effect that
- 1:26:33Speaker 6: all you need is faith, the faith of a mustard seed,
- 1:26:37Speaker 6: the smallest of all seats.
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: You just need a little bit of faith. You ain't
- 1:26:41Speaker 2: got to have a whole lot.
- 1:26:42Speaker 6: Sometimes you just got to keep believing that no matter
- 1:26:46Speaker 6: how it looked, God is coming to get you. That
- 1:26:49Speaker 6: no matter what you're facing, this too shall pass. You
- 1:26:52Speaker 6: just have to understand, man, that everything you have ever
- 1:26:56Speaker 6: gone through you've gotten past it, and this too, that
- 1:27:00Speaker 6: you trouble with this, You're gonna get past this too.
- 1:27:04Speaker 6: Don't ever give up. I don't care how daunting it gets.
- 1:27:09Speaker 6: You just can't quit. People ask me all the time, man,
- 1:27:13Speaker 6: when you was living a car, man then you feel
- 1:27:15Speaker 6: like quitting.
- 1:27:16Speaker 2: Yeah, but I didn't. Well, why didn't you?
- 1:27:20Speaker 6: Because if I quit, I knew what the results was
- 1:27:22Speaker 6: gonna be, it wasn't gonna happen. My dreams will never
- 1:27:28Speaker 6: come true if I would have quit. Yours won't come
- 1:27:31Speaker 6: true if you quit. But if you keep waking up,
- 1:27:33Speaker 6: putting one foot in front of the other. God sees
- 1:27:36Speaker 6: your despair. God sees your willingness to work. God sees
- 1:27:42Speaker 6: your tears. God sees you trying. God sees you.
- 1:27:47Speaker 2: He understands you feeling hopeless.
- 1:27:50Speaker 6: But if you keep talking to him, if you keep
- 1:27:54Speaker 6: asking him to strengthen you see, you gotta understand how
- 1:27:57Speaker 6: it works.
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: If you ask God for strength, know what he gonna do.
- 1:28:01Speaker 6: He gonna give you stuff that requires your strength, because
- 1:28:06Speaker 6: it's like working out. When you first go to the gym,
- 1:28:09Speaker 6: you may be curling twenties, But if you stay in
- 1:28:13Speaker 6: that gym and you keep picking up weight, you'll find
- 1:28:16Speaker 6: that you'll be able to pick up some more weight
- 1:28:18Speaker 6: after a while.
- 1:28:19Speaker 2: And that's how life works.
- 1:28:21Speaker 6: So when you ask God to bless you, God has
- 1:28:24Speaker 6: got to also set you up to make you ready
- 1:28:26Speaker 6: to receive the blessing. Here we go, watch this right here, Lord,
- 1:28:32Speaker 6: I want I want everybody to know me. I want
- 1:28:34Speaker 6: to be famous. Well, now, guess what's gonna happen to you.
- 1:28:37Speaker 6: You're gonna be put in a lot of situation where
- 1:28:40Speaker 6: you're gonna have to deal with what it's like to
- 1:28:42Speaker 6: be famous. You find to get talked about, you, Finn
- 1:28:45Speaker 6: to get lied on, you, Finna get ridiculed you, Finn
- 1:28:49Speaker 6: to get shamed, They finn to say stuff about you.
- 1:28:52Speaker 6: You don't know where you got it from, because guess what,
- 1:28:55Speaker 6: that's a part of it. So now you gotta be
- 1:28:58Speaker 6: prepared for that. When you ask God for stuff, oftentimes
- 1:29:03Speaker 6: what you're asking for is gonna come with a series
- 1:29:06Speaker 6: of challenges to prepare you to receive it.
- 1:29:10Speaker 2: That's how it works, you know.
- 1:29:15Speaker 6: Look, you ask God for a new job, you know
- 1:29:18Speaker 6: it might you might get the new job, but it
- 1:29:21Speaker 6: may cost you your old job. See, you can't ask
- 1:29:26Speaker 6: God to bless you in there and tell him how
- 1:29:28Speaker 6: to do it. You want a new job, but you
- 1:29:30Speaker 6: don't know that. What's gonna have to happen is he
- 1:29:32Speaker 6: might have to bring about your firing. He might have
- 1:29:35Speaker 6: to bring about your layoff. He might have to bring
- 1:29:39Speaker 6: about a plant closing. He hear you, now, guess what
- 1:29:43Speaker 6: now you got room for a new job.
- 1:29:45Speaker 2: I ain't want it like that. Well, that ain't your decision,
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: is it.
- 1:29:51Speaker 6: You can't ask God to bless you in there and
- 1:29:53Speaker 6: tell him how to do it because there is lessons
- 1:29:56Speaker 6: that you need to learn along the way. I can't
- 1:30:01Speaker 6: tell you how many lessons I've had to learn to
- 1:30:03Speaker 6: get behind this microphone today and speak the way I speak.
- 1:30:07Speaker 6: I bought a lot of lessons, you know. I try
- 1:30:10Speaker 6: to talk to my kids sometimes. I try to give
- 1:30:13Speaker 6: them information that I paid for, and trying to talk
- 1:30:17Speaker 6: to them sometimes is crazy because they be looking at
- 1:30:20Speaker 6: them and I could tell them they not really feeling
- 1:30:22Speaker 6: it because that ain't what they wanted to hear.
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: They gonna go do it another way. Okay, go ahead.
- 1:30:28Speaker 6: I'm trying to save you one now because I'd have
- 1:30:31Speaker 6: been down this road. If I tell you that the
- 1:30:36Speaker 6: person you date ain't worth for damn?
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: Could it be?
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: Because I know what ain't worth for?
- 1:30:44Speaker 9: Damn?
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: Look like.
- 1:30:48Speaker 6: If I tell you this man don't mean you, well,
- 1:30:52Speaker 6: could it be? Because I have been that man before
- 1:30:55Speaker 6: and I know what it looked like. I just be
- 1:30:58Speaker 6: trying to tell people. But you know, my father taught me,
- 1:31:01Speaker 6: taught me another value. But later, I know it sounds
- 1:31:03Speaker 6: like I'm all over the place, but my father taught
- 1:31:04Speaker 6: me a very value lesson, he says. So if you
- 1:31:08Speaker 6: tell somebody the truth and they don't believe you, I
- 1:31:14Speaker 6: have great talk to God. He'd absolutely love to hear from.
