- 1:59Speaker 1: nick got it? Uh? Well, a good morning everybody, y'all
- 2:06Speaker 1: listening to the voice. Come on deed me now one
- 2:10Speaker 1: and only Steve Harley got a radio show. First of all,
- 2:13Speaker 1: I want to say thank you to everybody who are
- 2:16Speaker 1: offers me encouragement with my moments of inspiration in the
- 2:21Speaker 1: moment in the morning. Um, I want to say this
- 2:24Speaker 1: to you a lot of times I'm I'm saying the
- 2:28Speaker 1: things that I need to hear. Oh. Now, I've heard
- 2:32Speaker 1: from a lot of people that they really appreciate it
- 2:34Speaker 1: and it benefits them and has helped them in so
- 2:36Speaker 1: many ways. I thank you for saying that. But you
- 2:39Speaker 1: all helped me too, and I thank you for that.
- 2:43Speaker 1: You know, I don't have to be in a position.
- 2:46Speaker 1: I mean, I'm in this position because of God's grace
- 2:49Speaker 1: and mercy in my life. And um, you know, I
- 2:52Speaker 1: work hard, I do, I'll admit that, but I've I've
- 2:57Speaker 1: learned over the years that you know, you got to
- 3:00Speaker 1: give God to something to bless You know a lot
- 3:03Speaker 1: of us want blessings, but we ain't got nothing in action.
- 3:07Speaker 1: We are moving, you know, to to give God nothing
- 3:11Speaker 1: to put his hand on, to touch on your behalf.
- 3:14Speaker 1: And that's what I've tried to do. I've tried to
- 3:17Speaker 1: work hard enough to give God some stuff that he
- 3:21Speaker 1: can put his hands on on my behalf. You know,
- 3:24Speaker 1: I take meetings when I ain't really sure how they're
- 3:26Speaker 1: gonna go. But maybe maybe God are going there and
- 3:29Speaker 1: touch somebody on my behalf. I don't know. But He
- 3:33Speaker 1: can't touch nobody on your behalf at the meeting if
- 3:36Speaker 1: you don't take the meeting, you know, if you don't
- 3:38Speaker 1: go and try and make the sale, if you don't
- 3:41Speaker 1: put the call in to make the sale, God, God
- 3:44Speaker 1: can't touch nobody to make him by you feel me,
- 3:47Speaker 1: I mean, you know, and I ain't trying to make
- 3:51Speaker 1: it sound like people around me or I know ain't
- 3:53Speaker 1: doing nothing. I'm just telling you that the way I've
- 3:55Speaker 1: discovered it now that there could be another way I
- 4:00Speaker 1: have not discovered it yet, So doing my little moments
- 4:03Speaker 1: of inspiration, I can only come from what I know.
- 4:06Speaker 1: And so but I do thank everybody for the encouragement
- 4:10Speaker 1: or from time to time that you all sent him
- 4:12Speaker 1: me an email bag or see y'all side on the
- 4:14Speaker 1: street somewhere while I'm moving around. I just won't say
- 4:17Speaker 1: thank you too. But I'm a lot of times I'm
- 4:19Speaker 1: trying to get myself through some things. So here's a
- 4:22Speaker 1: good one today. Okay, you're ready. Everybody and anybody can pray.
- 4:30Speaker 1: See that's the thing about prayer. Everybody and anybody can pray.
- 4:37Speaker 1: See and and and and let me say this to
- 4:39Speaker 1: what you got to lose by praying what you you
- 4:43Speaker 1: ain't gotta make no spectacle of it. It. Don't say
- 4:45Speaker 1: you have to go to the center of the courthouse,
- 4:49Speaker 1: get on your knees on the other side of the
- 4:51Speaker 1: metal detective and cry out that ain't how God work.
- 4:55Speaker 1: You ain't got to show out for God, God God
- 4:58Speaker 1: to do all the showing out. You are you all
- 5:01Speaker 1: you got to do is do you lead a showing
- 5:03Speaker 1: out part to God. He's gonna clown for you. Please, No,
- 5:06Speaker 1: he's gonna show you off to to to everybody who
- 5:10Speaker 1: needs to see it, and especially your enemies. So you
- 5:13Speaker 1: lead a showing out part to him. You can pray prayer,
- 5:17Speaker 1: I mean everybody and anybody can pray. Prayer is for
- 5:21Speaker 1: everybody and anybody. Everybody and anybody. I don't need prayer
- 5:26Speaker 1: if you're not, if you're not applying it, I'm gonna
- 5:30Speaker 1: tell you, man, you're missing out on something here, because
- 5:32Speaker 1: you're missing out on something. First of all, you don't
- 5:35Speaker 1: have to check with nobody to pray. You ain't got
- 5:38Speaker 1: to clear it with nobody to pray. You don't need
- 5:42Speaker 1: permission from anybody to pray. You ain't even got to
- 5:47Speaker 1: tell nobody if you don't want to, that you've been
- 5:51Speaker 1: praying about something. Now, Like a cat like me that
- 5:56Speaker 1: has seen prayer work over and over and over, I
- 5:59Speaker 1: ain't got no problem saying out loud that I'm praying
- 6:02Speaker 1: about something that I prayed for this and it came true.
- 6:05Speaker 1: That I'm praying that God get me through something that
- 6:07Speaker 1: I don't really have a problem saying that because it
- 6:10Speaker 1: didn't work for me so many times, and it has
- 6:16Speaker 1: never ever failed me yet, prayer has never not worked
- 6:21Speaker 1: for me. Now, you gotta understand something. Sometime the answer
- 6:25Speaker 1: to your prayer is no. But see, I got that too, though.
- 6:29Speaker 1: See I understand that part of it, that sometimes the
- 6:34Speaker 1: answer to the prayer is no. I got that, you know.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Come on, Steve. Sometimes the answer is no, and I've
- 6:45Speaker 1: learned to accept that. But at least now that I
- 6:47Speaker 1: know that the answer is no, I can move on
- 6:49Speaker 1: to the next step or move on to the to
- 6:52Speaker 1: the way he got for me. See, sometimes I pray
- 6:54Speaker 1: for stuff I won't and then sometimes the answer to
- 6:57Speaker 1: what I want is no. Then I said, okay, well, God,
- 7:00Speaker 1: what you got from me, what he got from me
- 7:02Speaker 1: way better than thing I was about to pray for
- 7:05Speaker 1: or the thing I was praying for. And I gotta
- 7:06Speaker 1: know too. But but you gotta do it a little
- 7:09Speaker 1: bit to understand that part. But let's just talk about
- 7:11Speaker 1: the basic benefits of prayer, because he prayers. Ben official,
- 7:16Speaker 1: y'all listen to me. Now you're listening to a cat.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I'm telling you what I know. I ain't guessing about
- 7:22Speaker 1: this one. Here This is what I know. Prayer is
- 7:25Speaker 1: for everybody, and anybody can pray. But here are the
- 7:29Speaker 1: benefits for me in my life that prayer has helped me.
- 7:34Speaker 1: And this is not in the order of significance or importance.
- 7:37Speaker 1: These are just some of the elements that occur what
- 7:40Speaker 1: I pray. First of all, purpose, I find purpose in prayer,
- 7:47Speaker 1: you know, like if I'm trying to figure out, uh,
- 7:51Speaker 1: the mission and the how come, the what for? The
- 7:55Speaker 1: why I did it, the how to? That that's purpose.
- 7:59Speaker 1: I get purpose when I pray. I ask God, what's
- 8:02Speaker 1: the purpose? What am I doing it for? What? What?
- 8:04Speaker 1: What does it matter? He gives me that in prayer.
- 8:08Speaker 1: He can't. He gives me that. Sometimes I get direction.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Direction is a beautiful thing. I get, Okay, which way?
- 8:15Speaker 1: Which way? Lord? I'm I'm I'm I'm tossed up. I
- 8:19Speaker 1: got a decision to make and I ain't really show
- 8:21Speaker 1: what to do? What should I do? Show me which
- 8:24Speaker 1: way to go? Direction? How many times have you needed
- 8:27Speaker 1: some direction? Well that's what prayer does. Let's talk about
- 8:31Speaker 1: him again. Now. Purpose. Direction here's another good thing. It
- 8:35Speaker 1: provides clarity, Lord, a mercy man, how many times has
- 8:40Speaker 1: he cleared it? From me, showed it to me, remove
- 8:43Speaker 1: some people out the way, put some people over here,
- 8:46Speaker 1: exposed something to me that I really needed to know. See.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Prayer work on so many levels. Purpose, direction, clarity, now,
- 8:55Speaker 1: oh I see now, oh oh old. Sometimes it's exposing
- 9:02Speaker 1: an enemy, showing you, uh, somebody who's betraying you. Sometimes
- 9:06Speaker 1: is showing you somebody's just hanging on for all the
- 9:09Speaker 1: wrong week. Just clarity, man, I thank him for clarity
- 9:13Speaker 1: through prayer. Here's another one. Calmness. It just calms me down, man,
- 9:19Speaker 1: It just makes me. It just makes me feel easier
- 9:23Speaker 1: to know that I ain't out here dealing with it
- 9:25Speaker 1: by myself, that I got a power that out and
- 9:28Speaker 1: tapped in that's greater than all powers. The most, the
- 9:32Speaker 1: most electrifying, stimulating, sensational power available to mankind is your
- 9:39Speaker 1: connection with your creator, with God. There's nothing greater for you, man,
- 9:43Speaker 1: that nothing. I don't care what you nobody tell you.
- 9:46Speaker 1: There's nothing greater you can do for yourself. Then get
- 9:48Speaker 1: in touch with who made you and find out what
- 9:51Speaker 1: your purpose is, get yourself some direction about who you are,
- 9:55Speaker 1: get yourself some clarity about what you ought to be doing,
- 9:57Speaker 1: and then calm down. Man, so every thing don't upset you.
- 10:02Speaker 1: You know, sometimes many people want to man, I don't
- 10:04Speaker 1: know how you deal with all that, because I didn't prayed, man,
- 10:07Speaker 1: and I didn't got me some calmness working in my
- 10:10Speaker 1: life to where all these waters that's raging around me
- 10:13Speaker 1: and these storms and everything, it ain't tossing my boat
- 10:15Speaker 1: upside down, or I'll be up in it sometime, but
- 10:18Speaker 1: I'm not turning over and drowning and all this hell.
- 10:22Speaker 1: I got a calmness, man, knowing that God is working
- 10:25Speaker 1: on my behalf, that he's getting it done for me.
- 10:28Speaker 1: And no matter how wrong it looked for me, right now,
- 10:31Speaker 1: I know God got me calmness. It's really cool to
- 10:35Speaker 1: have calmness. Man. Here's something else and guilts to me too,
- 10:39Speaker 1: understanding and wisdom. It just makes me go, okay, I
- 10:43Speaker 1: got that. I see Oh you know what, man, I
- 10:46Speaker 1: was tripping on that. Okay, I see you know what
- 10:50Speaker 1: that's going down because it is and because that happened.
- 10:53Speaker 1: And now look at what that. Oh, I see how
- 10:55Speaker 1: that's working. That's wisdom, that's understanding, you know, and and
- 11:00Speaker 1: that I heard Bishop Jake say one time that the
- 11:02Speaker 1: closer you get to God the more friends y'all become,
- 11:05Speaker 1: the more he reveals to you his secrets of why
- 11:08Speaker 1: he's doing certain things in your life. You ain't gonna
- 11:10Speaker 1: never get at all, you understand, but just some of
- 11:13Speaker 1: the things. Here's another one. Peace of mind. Man. Prayer
- 11:18Speaker 1: gave me peace of mind. Man, when my mind ain't
- 11:22Speaker 1: scrambled all day long, just peace of mind. Everything come
- 11:26Speaker 1: in my mind. Every time the devil throws on my way. Man,
- 11:29Speaker 1: he ain't got me focusing on that because I got God. Man,
- 11:32Speaker 1: I didn't prayed about it, and I got peace of mind.
- 11:35Speaker 1: So the scrambling technique that Satan used, it ain't up
- 11:37Speaker 1: in my head all day. Then it give me strength,
- 11:43Speaker 1: give me the power and the strength to get through
- 11:45Speaker 1: what a see. Sometimes situation ain't gonna get removed. Sometimes
- 11:50Speaker 1: you just need strength to just go on and handle
- 11:52Speaker 1: it because you gotta lift that weight so you can
- 11:54Speaker 1: get strong that lifting more weight. You know, I'm in
- 11:57Speaker 1: the gym with him. And then just one more thing
- 12:00Speaker 1: before we get out of here. Just make me feel
- 12:03Speaker 1: hopeful sometime. Matter of fact, all the time, it just
- 12:06Speaker 1: always got me, got me, got got me feeled with
- 12:09Speaker 1: hope that I know something big about to pop off.
- 12:12Speaker 1: That's something else about to go down. He just give
- 12:14Speaker 1: me hope. Man. That's what prayer does. They do all
- 12:17Speaker 1: them things. So if you ain't praying, I check into
- 12:20Speaker 1: it today. Really, it's such a powerful and beneficial thing
- 12:23Speaker 1: to all of us. Anybody and everybody can pray. Just
- 12:25Speaker 1: talk to him, just like just like you're talking to anybody.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Watch watch, Watch how you feel you're listening Steve Morning Show.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Eighteen minutes after that, our eighteen minutes after that, Our fine,
- 12:42Speaker 1: say fine, Steve got a hat at one right there.
- 12:55Speaker 1: They don't write songs like this snow more. Yeah, how
- 12:58Speaker 1: you just woo woo woo oh whoa. That's my part
- 13:01Speaker 1: is early. It's six nineteen, it's gonna be early. I
- 13:10Speaker 1: do earlier. We do early, we early rise. We really are.
- 13:14Speaker 1: We set the pace for people's day. We let him
- 13:17Speaker 1: know what it's gonna be, what they're gonna do. I
- 13:19Speaker 1: like getting up early. I'm a morning person. You get
- 13:24Speaker 1: a head start on a day. Yeah, I don't like it?
- 13:27Speaker 1: Are you really? Yeah? Okay, that's interesting, Tommy. How would
- 13:33Speaker 1: you describe yourself in one sentence? How would you describe yourself? Oh?
- 13:38Speaker 1: I was thinking one word yeah, I'm gonna y'all have
- 13:42Speaker 1: a turn. But after he does, how would I describe
- 13:47Speaker 1: h an incredible piece of talent? Peace? I agree with Okay,
- 13:55Speaker 1: I worded it wrong. I left it out there. Okay,
- 14:03Speaker 1: how about you describe yourself, Steve hard in a sentence?
- 14:08Speaker 1: You describe your uncle mm hm an amazing individual. I
- 14:15Speaker 1: give you that nice Yeah, I playing I was going
- 14:23Speaker 1: to say about you. Then you getting sentimental. You may
- 14:33Speaker 1: him feel guilty now he was ready thought his turn.
- 14:42Speaker 1: When you see where somebody then came from and where
- 14:44Speaker 1: they where they are now, it's amazing man, his journey, right. Yeah.
- 14:50Speaker 1: People see Steve and like us, we know the story,
- 14:53Speaker 1: we know the journey, and they think it's just instant
- 14:57Speaker 1: and then nothing, and they think it's way more glamorous
- 15:00Speaker 1: than it is. You know, it is so much beneath
- 15:05Speaker 1: the surface of an iceberg. What do you mean, it's
- 15:09Speaker 1: the part that you don't see that allows just beautiful glacier,
- 15:14Speaker 1: this mountain to exist. People see your success, but they
- 15:21Speaker 1: don't see it's what's up under it and all the
- 15:24Speaker 1: hard work it took to test. It's like, for example,
- 15:27Speaker 1: you see this big tree right and you think, wow,
- 15:31Speaker 1: that's a big tree, a lot of branches on it.
- 15:33Speaker 1: You know what, you never see the roots system. It's crazy, man.
- 15:40Speaker 1: It's some bad stuff that happened in that root system
- 15:44Speaker 1: that allowed that caused this big tree to exist. I'm
- 15:48Speaker 1: just grateful man that God has used me the way
- 15:52Speaker 1: he has, and I have not always appreciated the route.
- 15:57Speaker 1: I want you to understand that man has been tough
- 16:00Speaker 1: like nothing else but and it's getting increasingly tougher, and
- 16:07Speaker 1: you know, um, it gets more difficult. It just does.
- 16:11Speaker 1: It gets increasingly more difficult. But you get stronger as
- 16:14Speaker 1: you go, and sometimes you're you're pushed instead of jumping,
- 16:23Speaker 1: you're pushed into your your your next life. You know.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Somebody told me that, Bishop Jake said, you ever all
- 16:32Speaker 1: you ever felt bad about somebody you've hired to do
- 16:36Speaker 1: a service, whether this, you know, any type of So
- 16:39Speaker 1: let's say he cuts your grass. You got to know
- 16:41Speaker 1: him a little bit and found out a little bit
- 16:44Speaker 1: about his family or something. A guy cuts your hair,
- 16:48Speaker 1: you know, you've been talking with him and find out
- 16:50Speaker 1: he got kids, you know, so then his service starts
- 16:55Speaker 1: to dwindle a little bit. It ain't the same haircut
- 16:58Speaker 1: your grass, ain't getting taken care of the same way.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Let's say you know your trainer ain't really training you
- 17:05Speaker 1: the way you used to, just somebody that you pay.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Have you ever felt an obligation to this person, like, man,
- 17:14Speaker 1: if I let this person go, what they're gonna do?
- 17:18Speaker 1: That happens to everybody. But what I heard Bishop Jake say,
- 17:24Speaker 1: sometimes you have to release a person until their destiny,
- 17:29Speaker 1: release them unto their destiny, because see, you're holding them there,
- 17:35Speaker 1: disappointing you and trying to work with them, and it's
- 17:39Speaker 1: creating a source of frustration for you. Sometimes you have
- 17:43Speaker 1: a release suppers because their destiny cannot be to aggravate you, too,
- 17:47Speaker 1: under service you, to mess up your head, to not
- 17:49Speaker 1: cut your yard, to not work the way they're supposed to.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Sometimes you have to release a person into their destiny
- 17:59Speaker 1: so they can go be whoever it is they post
- 18:01Speaker 1: to be. M you have to let him go. It's
- 18:04Speaker 1: about to fire someone he had the job. Yo, No, God,
- 18:11Speaker 1: what's what's this conversation really about? Somebody gonna get fine?
- 18:16Speaker 1: What you're nervous for? I ain't doing your job? He
- 18:25Speaker 1: knows us it would be. Will it turned all over? See? No,
- 18:29Speaker 1: evaluate you did you post it in the cafeteria, they
- 18:38Speaker 1: see no evaluation. Will it turns my hero office? What call? Yeah?
- 18:50Speaker 1: What folk boy saying to say? I wish you would
- 18:58Speaker 1: turn about hero boy? So okay, so you're not about
- 19:01Speaker 1: to find them about it? Okay, sure we want to
- 19:03Speaker 1: get that ball. Yeah yeah, because you know, sometimes you
- 19:06Speaker 1: say stuff, but you know, mm hmm, you don't really
- 19:10Speaker 1: say it directly to the well. So the bottom line
- 19:15Speaker 1: here is somebody ain't gonna make it. He talked about
- 19:23Speaker 1: his journey, this boy that used to nah cut your
- 19:33Speaker 1: yard yet Destiny go ahead on a jump, all right now, Yeah,
- 19:52Speaker 1: it's gonna be a good day to day. I anticipate
- 19:55Speaker 1: great things happening. Yeah, well, thank you. Yeah. And when
- 20:05Speaker 1: we come back from the break at a thirty four
- 20:07Speaker 1: after the hour, you're something funny, Steve, Can we up?
- 20:11Speaker 1: Well talk about Black History Month? How about that? Some
- 20:15Speaker 1: little known Black History Month facts? These are always interesting,
- 20:20Speaker 1: to say the least people enjoyed this stuff. You don't
- 20:25Speaker 1: even know you're listening to the stew All right, we're
- 20:32Speaker 1: back thirty four minutes after the hour. We feel about
- 20:36Speaker 1: to do little known Black history Moss's Black History and
- 20:40Speaker 1: we've been doing little Don't tweet us, don't instagram, don't
- 20:44Speaker 1: say nothing about it. These are little known Black history facts.
- 20:50Speaker 1: You want the other stuff cut somewhere else, We are
- 20:55Speaker 1: not giving you those. We are giving you little known
- 20:59Speaker 1: right after this, all right, who got one? I got one? Tommy.
- 21:12Speaker 1: I want to tell your shirty car. We want to
- 21:14Speaker 1: tell you all the story of Brevin Bowman Brookwood back
- 21:17Speaker 1: in seventeen. Brookwood. Mm hmmm. Uh. He was a man
- 21:27Speaker 1: who really didn't do much but sit on the porch
- 21:29Speaker 1: and was nos He knew everything about everybody. If you
- 21:33Speaker 1: borrowed some money over there, he knew about that. If
- 21:36Speaker 1: you was late on a payment, he knew about that.
- 21:39Speaker 1: So Brevin Bowman Brookwood really was uh the first Better
- 21:44Speaker 1: Business Bureau that we've ever had. What, yeah, that's how
- 21:51Speaker 1: we got the b b B. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Bren
- 22:00Speaker 1: I wouldn't loan no money over there. The Mr Charles,
- 22:02Speaker 1: I'm telling you now, he had all the Telly didn't
- 22:09Speaker 1: make her payment on time. I'm telling you better be
- 22:12Speaker 1: careful Bowman Brookwood, though, all right, we got time for nothing. Yes,
- 22:25Speaker 1: all right, look here, uh eighteen all right, that's the year.
- 22:31Speaker 1: This is a ruthless Wade Gay heard his knee real bad,
- 22:38Speaker 1: and uh, he said, every time it being it hurt.
- 22:43Speaker 1: The Ruf has come up with some type of an
- 22:45Speaker 1: ointment he concocted and put it on his knee. He
- 22:49Speaker 1: started calling it being gay. He watch where I'm going now,
- 22:55Speaker 1: He laid his boy, Jericho Mars use it all right.

- 32:40Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show? All right? Now,
- 32:46Speaker 1: have you guys heard about this? It was a surprise
- 32:49Speaker 1: to me. Nick Cannon, Uh, someone we all know and love,
- 32:53Speaker 1: a friend to the show. Nick Cannon is leaving America's
- 32:56Speaker 1: Got Talent. What that was a surprise. This comes after
- 33:01Speaker 1: NBC executives threatened to fire him over a racial joke
- 33:04Speaker 1: he made in a recent comedy special he did for
- 33:07Speaker 1: Showtime in his stand up routine. Uh, in case you
- 33:10Speaker 1: missed it, the joke in question was, I honestly believe
- 33:13Speaker 1: this is Nick talking. Now. Once I started doing America's
- 33:16Speaker 1: Got Talent, they took my real in word card. They did.
- 33:21Speaker 1: I can't do the real inward stuff anymore because then
- 33:24Speaker 1: they'll put me on TMZ. So then back to the network.
- 33:28Speaker 1: The network felt like Nick's joke disparaged their brand. He
- 33:32Speaker 1: felt like he was being silent. He address the issue
- 33:35Speaker 1: in a Facebook post. He said, my soul won't allow
- 33:38Speaker 1: me to be in business with corporations that attempt to
- 33:41Speaker 1: frown on freedom of speech, sensor artists and question cultural choices.
- 33:46Speaker 1: I will not stand for it. My moral principles will
- 33:48Speaker 1: easily walk away from the millions of dollars they hang
- 33:52Speaker 1: over my head. And then he went on to say
- 33:54Speaker 1: that nothing, no amount of money, is worth his integrity
- 33:57Speaker 1: and his dignity. M h that's a shocker. Huh yeah,
- 34:03Speaker 1: I mean it's it's really a shock. Good job. Where
- 34:07Speaker 1: is he working that he's still doing out right? Husbands
- 34:13Speaker 1: of Hollywood? I guess, yeah, but he was I'm not
- 34:19Speaker 1: going to do them like they do me. I'm just
- 34:22Speaker 1: not don't do it. So, oh you mean you said them? Yeah?
- 34:31Speaker 1: You know, so many people Mannna attacked me. You know,
- 34:35Speaker 1: if they see me look like I'm down here, they
- 34:37Speaker 1: come with the attacks. I'm not gonna do it. I know,
- 34:41Speaker 1: I know, I know a little bit about what's going on.
- 34:43Speaker 1: I'm on NBC, but I'm just gonna let it go
- 34:48Speaker 1: hanging that Nick, congratulations, Yeah, and hopefully your future is brighter.
- 34:53Speaker 1: You know. It is a shocker, though. Be be free? Yeah?
- 35:00Speaker 1: Did you get hungry? All right? Then? Free and hunger again?
- 35:09Speaker 1: Grandma contractor clauses that we all have in television, especially
- 35:18Speaker 1: but even on the radio. Even on the radio. There's
- 35:24Speaker 1: behavioral things and all of our contracts. But I have
- 35:29Speaker 1: not let me let me. I have no comment one't
- 35:31Speaker 1: way or the other. Congratulations Nick. Now that's not the
- 35:35Speaker 1: same luxury I've been afforded by my so called friends
- 35:40Speaker 1: or counterparts in this business. But I've grown from my experiences,
- 35:49Speaker 1: and I've just learned. See, blowing my caundle out don't
- 35:53Speaker 1: make yours brighter. H m hm. So you'll be missed,
- 36:01Speaker 1: lazier gentlemen, with all the love in my heart, please
- 36:04Speaker 1: put your hands together. Trip. Thank you, Steve. Good morning
- 36:11Speaker 1: everybody out there. Okay, this is entrepriss. Now. The Trump
- 36:15Speaker 1: administration says it was not so much that he quit,
- 36:17Speaker 1: it's more like he was fired. The White House says
- 36:20Speaker 1: the President Trump lost trust in his National security advisor,
- 36:23Speaker 1: Michael Flynn, and that's why he asked him to resign.
- 36:26Speaker 1: Flynn reportedly misrepresented his phone conversation with the Russian ambassador
- 36:30Speaker 1: late last year, and spokesman Sean Spicer says the President
- 36:33Speaker 1: first learned of Flynn's false statements two and a half
- 36:36Speaker 1: weeks ago, which is when the White House alerted an
- 36:38Speaker 1: administration lawyer that Flynn's conversation included a discussion about these
- 36:43Speaker 1: sanctions slapped on the Kremlin by President Obama. That's something, however,
- 36:46Speaker 1: Flynn has denied. However, Spicer insists that there was nothing
- 36:49Speaker 1: illegal about the conversation. The problem, Spicer says, them from
- 36:53Speaker 1: the now ex National Security advisors, misleading accounts of the call,
- 36:57Speaker 1: to the Vice President and to others. We got to
- 36:59Speaker 1: a point not based on a legal issue, were based
- 37:01Speaker 1: on a trust issue. With a level of trust between
- 37:04Speaker 1: the President and General Flynn had eroded to the point
- 37:07Speaker 1: where he felt he had to make a change. Spice,
- 37:09Speaker 1: he says the President was not involved in any of this.
- 37:12Speaker 1: Authorities in Missouri say that the wife and stepson of
- 37:14Speaker 1: a clan leader have been charged with his murder. A
- 37:17Speaker 1: report on the Park Hills Daily Journal says fifty one
- 37:19Speaker 1: year old Frank Arcona's body found on a river bank
- 37:22Speaker 1: no Belgrade, Missouri, and that his wife and Melissa Arcona,
- 37:26Speaker 1: and her son, Paul Edward Jenkerson have been charged with
- 37:29Speaker 1: his murder. They say Frank Arcona was the Imperial Wizard
- 37:32Speaker 1: of a group called the Traditionalist American Knights of a
- 37:34Speaker 1: klu Klux Klan music legend Aretha Franklin has announced her
- 37:38Speaker 1: retirement from full time touring. Racklin says her life on
- 37:40Speaker 1: the road is going to be over after she releases
- 37:42Speaker 1: a new album in September. Seventy four year old singing
- 37:45Speaker 1: icon has told her Detroit TV station that she will
- 37:48Speaker 1: be recording, but that this will be her last year
- 37:51Speaker 1: in concert like going around and stuff, although she says
- 37:53Speaker 1: she may appear at some select events. And today is
- 37:57Speaker 1: National Hippo Day, National gum drop Day, and on this today,
- 38:00Speaker 1: after Valentine's Day, it's also National Single Awareness Day. Okay,
- 38:09Speaker 1: now back to Steve Harvey. Morning, chill, all right, thank you,
- 38:13Speaker 1: miss Sam. We appreciate you all the time. Let's go

- 39:19Speaker 1: a couple of deaths out there. The other day, they
- 39:20Speaker 1: had un explosion to Um. I know that kind of
- 39:23Speaker 1: took a toll on her, but I've been trying to
- 39:25Speaker 1: be there for you know. So come on, man, she

- 39:51Speaker 1: So y'all went to counseling because you all were having
- 39:54Speaker 1: what problem? Because I left because she's been being mean?
- 40:00Speaker 1: Oh you left unless she was You left, right, So
- 40:07Speaker 1: the separation was caused by you. Yeah, okay, So now
- 40:13Speaker 1: what you want her to do? Be nice? I love
- 40:17Speaker 1: my wife, Steve, but man, I can't deal with it.

- 40:43Speaker 1: The Bible says that a woman should be to music
- 40:44Speaker 1: to a husband. I mean, it's plainly simple, black and white.
- 40:48Speaker 1: Brother says Christ treated the church. She can't wear the pants, Shirley.
- 40:57Speaker 1: It also says. It also says, you know, love your life.
- 41:00Speaker 1: It's Christ loved the church, and you know we know
- 41:02Speaker 1: how much Christ loved right and I loved my wife.
- 41:05Speaker 1: My wife became my wife before we spent the ten
- 41:07Speaker 1: thousand dollars on the week, you know what I mean?
- 41:09Speaker 1: So it's um, I love her, Chris struggle, Chris, you

- 41:34Speaker 1: for the one? How old is your wife? Oh? What
- 41:42Speaker 1: when you have you read that Bible? Verse two? Or Chris? Yes,
- 41:49Speaker 1: we both know the Bible very wherever? Well you get
- 41:55Speaker 1: hold on, see hold on. I don't want you to
- 41:57Speaker 1: think that I'm trying to be chauvinistic when I said that. Okay, well,
- 42:02Speaker 1: well let me ask you this. What is? Yeah? I
- 42:10Speaker 1: know you're saying you're trying not to be, but how

- 42:20Speaker 1: you got one job. Your job is to provide a home, right,
- 42:27Speaker 1: I mean your job is to provide a house. Her
- 42:31Speaker 1: job is to make it a home. You're interfering with
- 42:35Speaker 1: the home making process. Okay, see you got on the
- 42:42Speaker 1: rules by her staying in her place, but your ways
- 42:45Speaker 1: saint in your place. I don't know what to say. Yeah,

- 48:43Speaker 1: have a Valentine Day to everybody. Do what you got
- 48:50Speaker 1: well the hobby I found this. I was blessed by
- 48:55Speaker 1: the Lord to bring my queen to me before and
- 48:58Speaker 1: a half years of born, through agone and everything with
- 49:03Speaker 1: an X, I asked the Lord for what I wanted.
- 49:06Speaker 1: I got on my hands and knees for four and
- 49:08Speaker 1: a half years, and he found it, brought my queen
- 49:13Speaker 1: to me. I didn't I won't look, and she won't looking,
- 49:17Speaker 1: and he brought her to me, Mr Harvard, and the
- 49:19Speaker 1: same with her. She won't looking after four and a
- 49:22Speaker 1: half years after divorce, and he brung both of us together.
- 49:26Speaker 1: And like they said, don't miss your blessing, I didn't
- 49:29Speaker 1: miss my Mr Harvey. And I heard you talk about
- 49:33Speaker 1: the place in New York where you can get the
- 49:36Speaker 1: value of your ring, far as the value as far
- 49:43Speaker 1: as the money off of it. And I wanted to
- 49:45Speaker 1: do that because after they put the ring in my
- 49:49Speaker 1: hand twenty years ago because they thought the grass was Greenham,
- 49:53Speaker 1: I'm gonna take that ring, go up New York to
- 49:56Speaker 1: the place where you were speaking of. I'm gonna trade
- 49:59Speaker 1: it in. I'm gonna get my queen her ring, and
- 50:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna come out in front of that store and
- 50:06Speaker 1: I'm going to sing Jeffrey Osborne right to her in
- 50:10Speaker 1: the front of everybody out there. I'm gonna sing the
- 50:13Speaker 1: song by Jeffrey Osborne, and I'm gonna love her until
- 50:18Speaker 1: the day that I die. Roney, people think about to
- 50:24Speaker 1: record that put that on my talk show. Say a
- 50:28Speaker 1: little bit now, I have never been to mother in
- 50:40Speaker 1: love before. M m m m. You know he had
- 50:53Speaker 1: to get in it. Always got love gone and love us,
- 51:09Speaker 1: don't they know? Damn never g Yeah, I'm putting down
- 51:29Speaker 1: in New York Cities. Never never so much more. He's
- 51:37Speaker 1: still all land. Right, sorry, give him a minute, right,
- 51:42Speaker 1: could see now never never never is much more than
- 51:51Speaker 1: they got in. She was to have come on your
- 51:59Speaker 1: shorts thing a song. We got to close it out, run,
- 52:11Speaker 1: thank you, thank you. That's right, put it, put the
- 52:16Speaker 1: rock on the end up when you've got to that's
- 52:20Speaker 1: where you do. Yeah, when you came saying you gotta
- 52:23Speaker 1: rough it up emotion. We come back after the break, Uh,

- 59:21Speaker 1: We got it, alright. Subject I'm frustrated and want revenge Tommy,
- 59:30Speaker 1: written by Tommy. All Right, Hello Shirley and Steve. I'm
- 59:33Speaker 1: frustrated with myself and I need some advice from the best.
- 59:37Speaker 1: I recently ended a dramatic relationship with a thirty year
- 59:41Speaker 1: old I am thirty seven. This man, in the beginning
- 59:45Speaker 1: was the greatest and worshiped the ground I walked on
- 59:49Speaker 1: until months into the relationship. He claimed to work in
- 59:52Speaker 1: sales and was living with his brother. He claimed to
- 59:55Speaker 1: have had a traumatic childhood with a drug addicted mother
- 59:58Speaker 1: and an obsessed father. There he claimed to adore his
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: grandparents and was their caretaker. He claimed his mother was
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: found dead a couple of months ago. He claimed to
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: be the most loyal man on earth. This man turned
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: out to be the biggest pathological liar I have ever met.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: He is worse than my ex husband and makes him
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: look like a saint. He claimed his father lives in
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: Atlanta as a big corporate giant. Anyway, he is scum
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: of the earth. He lives with his father in Birmingham, Alabama,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: has been unemployed for years, has nothing in his name,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: including his cell phone. Has this felony record, uses religion
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: to his advantage, and uses a baby mama to get
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: sympathy and pleasure from women. He was like a disease
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: that I could not get rid of. He was slowly
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: trying to move in my house and claiming illnesses that
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: he did not have. I found out his mother is alive.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: His grandmother speaks nothing but shame about him. I'm a
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: bit frustrated because he is on every dating website claiming
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: to be a good loyal man. I don't want to
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: make this mistake ever again. So what would you have? So?
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: What would have been the clues that I was dealing
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: with a psychopath? In addition to licking his lips constantly
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: and nose bleeds. I suspected drug abuse but could never
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: prove it. What advice is there for me and other
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: women when dealing with deceptive men? Wow? Well, the first
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: thing I can say is thank God that you ended
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: this catastrophe before it got even worse than it is. Uh.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: The advice is, if you suspect something, check it out.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: I mean all the signs were there, a lot of
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: the signs. If if you feel something isn't right, it
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: probably isn't. And I'm sure you felt this all through
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: this relationship. Check it out. You cannot ignore these warning signs.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: I'm sure there were more signs than a lip licking
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: and nose bleeds, but right there that was really enough
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: for me. You nose bleeds, I mean, check something out.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: Don't just sit there and be docile and let him
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: tell you all these lies. Um, you know what, you
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: don't say how you eventually found out about him. You
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: don't say that. I wonder what that was. You definitely
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: left that out of the letter. The good thing is,
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: like I said, as you ended it. Uh, my advice
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: to you is to do what you're doing. Let everybody know,
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: I mean, let him, let people know that he's a liar,
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: and uh, you know, write the strawberry letters so we
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: can put it out there if he's on all these websites.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: But you don't have to get revenge. I'm glad you're
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: out of it. Revenge is not your your main issue
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: at least you're out of it. Steve, Well, this is
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: an interesting letter to me because even in the deception,
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: if women, if you would just learn to follow your intuition,
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: which you all have. How does this sound to you? Okay,
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: let me let me go down the points. I recently
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: ended a dramatic relationship with a thirty year old I'm
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: thirty seven. This man, in the beginning was the great
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: test Oh really, and he worshiped the ground that I
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: walked on. Uh. Here's okay, here is the man that
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: was the greatest. Here are the facts, even if these
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: were lies, listen to the good lies, and how you
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: can tell me this guy's the greatest. Number one he
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: worked in sales and was living with his brother. What
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: thirty you old man? You know need a roommate. Number
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: two he had a traumatic childhood. This is the greatest
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: guy you've ever met. Number three he has a mother
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: was addicted MHM. And Number four his father was obsessed.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: Then he claimed to a doorer's grandparents as their caretaker.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: Who the hell wants to take care of two old?
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: Asked people? When you're thirty, Dave? But now where do
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: you fit in this act? Turning people over? And watching
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: them and wiping them boom, feeding them at all like
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: that when y'all gonna go on the date. You ever
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: noticed when y'all was eating there and we reached over
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: to wipe your mouth every night? And then that's cause
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: he's good at it. Why he turned out to be
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: the great I'm just trying to find Then he claimed
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: his mother was found dead a couple of months ago.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: Don't you they found your mama dead? From what all?
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: These are? What you described as one of the greatest
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: men in the world, Even if these are lies, which
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: we find out later they are, these weren't even good
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: luck at least seriously, man, right now you want us
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: to at the end, she said, what advice is there
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: for me and other women when dealing with deceptive men? Hell? Listen,
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: yeah you knew. Now when we get back, I'm gonna
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: go over the truth of the matter, which ain't too
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: much better than the damn last And then you got
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: to talk about the lip licking, and that we'll be
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: back after He'll tell us we'll be you're listening to
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show, Adrian after day, we'll come back.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: I'll give you the Repper Radio Skippy deal that you
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: know back on the radio. We'll be right back with
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: two of this damn whether you won't it or not,
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: I think you skippy do. Now. We heard the lies
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: the man told that wasn't good lies. Here's the truth
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: about it. He lives with his father in Birmingham, Alabama,
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: has been an unemployed for years, has nothing in his name,
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: including his cell phone, has a felony record, users religion
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: to his advantage, and uses a baby mama to get
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: sympathy and pleasure from women. He has a disease that
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: I couldnot get rid of. Oh he here, you need
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: to kill him. You got disease you can't get rid of.
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: On top of all that, you already ain't got cell
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: phone in your name. What you ain't friend to do
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: is ste No, that's what I thought you said. Tell
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: you the damn advice of this land to change abruptly
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: once you give me I can't get rid of your ass.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: Needs to go into hide because I'm gonna be looking
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: for you till I can't breathe. No, she didn't say that, okay.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: He Then she found out his mother is still alive.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: The crackhead didn't die after all. She's still alive. His
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: grandparents speak nothing but shame about him. Hell, that's because
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: he didn't come over for the wiping. I'm gonna confused.
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: I'm a bit frustrated because he's on every dating web
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: site claiming to be a good loyal man, in addition
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: to licking his lips constantly and nose bleep right there,
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: come on, crackheads is always thirsty cause they forget to drink.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: See craghead always trying to smoke. See, so crack people
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: are own drugs. A mouth always pasty because they forget
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: to drink because they're always looking for the fix. So
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: they're always looking their lips. They just be dry mouth
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: and the nose bleeds. And this is bad. This is
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: bad cocaine. This one. You didn't just you didn't snort
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: at the membranes out your head. You ain't even got
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: hair and your nose no more. It's just cocaine going
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: straight into the nostrils. And now you've got nose beach
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: crack making nose bleeds. How do you think she found
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: out he was sitting up there and licking his lips
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: at the dinner table and the nose was bleeding alright,
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: kept saying drank some water, and he kept going to
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: the brown food. You're listening thirty four thirty four minutes
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: after that, we're back. We gotta missing coming up right
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: after this song. She's here with this hour's headline, good morning,
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: miss saying good morning, Steven morning, everybody out there, This
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: is a trip with good morning Jr. Well. In the
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: wake of National Security Advisor Michael Flynn's resignation yesterday, Democrats
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: and Congress are calling for an independent investigation. They want
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: to know if anybody else in the Trump administration told
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: Flynn to talk to the Russian ambassador by phone about
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: the sanctions leveled against it by the Obama administration, and
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: if anyone or any of it was involved in the
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: last election. Meanwhile, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi says such
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: a high profile resignation so early in a new administration
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: indicates to her something else. Clearly, the president exercise very
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: poor judgment and putting in somebody there who couldn't even
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: manage himself. Thank god he has gone so far. Republican
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: lawmakers have resisted calls for an independent panel to investigate
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: possible Russian interference in the last election. According to a
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: report in the New York Amsterdam News. The Mississippi woman
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: who's claimed back in nineteen fifty five about fourteen year
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: old Emmett Till which led to the youngster's brutal murder.
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: That woman now at miss she lied. Carol and Bryant
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: claims that Emmett made that suggest the remark remember that
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: we all knew that story growing up, that he whistled
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: at her or something like that. In Brian's husband and
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: another man kidnapped the child, beat him, shot him to death,
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: tied his body to a cotton gin, and threw him
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: into Tallahatchee River. Brian's husband and the other man acquitted
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: after an all male, all white jury said they were innocent.
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: Carol and Bryant is now eighty two years old. She
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: admitted that the brutally murdered child never made any verbal
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: or physical advances toward her. She faced a grand jury
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: a few years back when she said that the first
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: time to determine if she should be charged with manslaughter. However,
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: the panel decided not to. The New York Knicks have
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: now formally lifted the band against Charles Oakley, but the
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: fan favorite also wants a public apology for the way
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: he was treated, And for Jim Dolan claiming that he
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: had a drinking problem, he said he doesn't have a
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: drinking problem. And while MSG officials continue to insist they
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: had every right to pull Oakally out of the garden,
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: there's at least one indication that maybe they thought they
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: didn't do it the right way. DNA Info New York
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: says that the Knicks owner has fired his head of security,
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: So we'll see about that. Music legend Aretha Franklin announcing
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: her retirement from full time. She's still be singing an
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: album and stuff like that, but she just kind of
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: wanted to tamp that down. He says. She may may
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: do some appearance at select events when that the rope
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: can be, you know, very very cooling for people. And finally, cheese,
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: so do I. Cops in Baltimore say that a man
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: opened fire at his home after somebody took a bite
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: out of his grilled cheese sandwich, sparking an hour long
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: standoff with police because he barricaded himself inside. Although nobody
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: was struck by the gunfire, police say the unidentified man
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: fired a weapon because he had a real meltdown after
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: either his wife or daughter had a taste of his
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: brill cheese sandwich, which in raised in to the point
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: he pulled out a gun and shot it off in
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: the house. Now that guy faces criminal charges, and if
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: he ends up in the clink, he might get to
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: make all the grilled cheese sandwich as he wants. Could
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: be a lose win for him. They love it in
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: the joint, I understand. Now, back to the Steve Harvey
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: Morning Show with you homie gotta happy. Yeah, all right,
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: thank you, miss and we'll be back with more. All right,
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: keep it right here. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: Before the eight minutes after the hour. What's happening in
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: nine o'clock? Nine o'clock? I got a story. Oh you're
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: gonna do a story. So nine o'clock, she gonna do
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: a story. Y'all. All this is on the air call
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: Reality Radio. It's real real. It's the story about the
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: school principle and his new disciplining style. You got to
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: hear about that. I'm gonna give Shirley damp I got it, okay.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: New thread on the Anonymous Whisper app has folks revealing
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: the real reasons they think they're still single. What app.
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: Can you say it? Tommy Whisper? Right there? Here we go, guys.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: A new thread on the anonymous Whisper app has folks
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: confessing the real reasons they think they're single, and some
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: are by choice, but others are simply heartbreaking. Reasons people
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: are still single include I'm a selfish lover. I only
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: want love when I feel like it, So that's why
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: I'm single. Yeah, I've been single because my ex cheated
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: on me and I don't know how to move on.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: That's a big one. I can see that way. Here's
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: another one. I think I'm single because I intimidate people
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: i've and I inadvertently make them feel insecure. Another one,
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: I figured out why I'm single. It's because I'm perfect wife.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: I'm perfect wife material and guys my age are scared
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: of commitment. Now what do I do? Mm hmm? Yeah,
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: what do you guys think? Steve? Well, I mean, you know,
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: some of it could be true. Um, but if but
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: if hor's wrong, If what you're saying is wrong with
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: you is because of a positive, it's gonna be hard
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: to fix that. I intimidate people because I I'm this,
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: or I'm stronger, or I don't have relationship because I'm perfect,
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: wifey material. Okay, not right there. If what's wrong with
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: you is a positive, there's no chance of you changing
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: or fixing it. So sometimes when you analyze stuff and
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: you're so perfect in the analysis, that's really the problem.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: It's something you think you ain't. I'm so beautiful. People
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: arepidated by my beauty, perfect wife, million, gorgeous, that none
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: husbands perfect junior? Why you saying what do you mean?
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: What I'm saying? Which one? Which one is? What you mean?
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: Still come out of my mouth? Why did you stay
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: single so long that year? Getting married? The other question?
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: I wasn't enjoying it too much? Get out, all right,
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: we still have time to go to the phone's guys,
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: so let's go all right, Oh you got Let's go
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: to line six and talk to Brian out of Maryland. Brian,
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: good morning, what's happening? Not much of my answer to
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: make things like my girl When we had a little altercation,
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: she told me text her aunt out of her phone.
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: I recommenze've seen the number, I didn't recognize, looks at it,
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: seeing that it's a baby, and stuff like that. And
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: I was drinking and right not realizing that was my
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: work phone. It just went downhill from there. Okay, hold
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: a dolt. A lot of information missing in this story.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: It's a long it's a long story of time. Okay, cool,
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: I got that. But let me ask you something. She
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: wants you to take your her aunt's number out your phone. No, no, no,
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: her phone. She gave me her phone and text her
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: on our new address to come to the house, so
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: ending that I've seen his number and I clicked on it,
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: and I've seen baby and stuff like that. But I
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: was drinking that nice Steve, not realizing that this was
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: my work number. But I think he's saying to you. Somebody,
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: somebody helped me understand. What he's saying, Steve, is that
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: he in her phone. It was his work number in
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: that phone, and she was talking to him saying baby.
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: But he said he was drinking, so he didn't know.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: He didn't recognize that that was his work What you're saying, yeah,
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: it was his text messages. Oh so you don't accuse
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: your girl, Yeah, okay, don't. Just don't just seem like
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: an easy fix. It ain't that easy because he was
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: so let me tell what you did. You don't went
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: way out of bounce when you found this text. Huh yeah, yeah,
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: you you went you with hard left and now you
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: can't get back over to the right exactly everything. Oh
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: I see, oh I see, I see right now? All right, dall,
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: hang on, man, I help you out. Quit reading and
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: drinking at the same time, and don't add up. I'm
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: trying to tell you you can't text, drink and read.
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: You pick one somebody who drank, speaking from experience, talking
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: to somebody who you must him talk, drake and read.
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: You can't do it. Ain't gonna come out right, I'm
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: telling you stop. Brian who briant be? Yeah? Okay, so
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: let me help you out a little bit. Man. So
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: you read a text, but it was your work number.
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: You thought it was from another guy, so you snapped
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: and went off. Did you do this while you was drunk? No,
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: I waited. I waited after the party. Okay, So you
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: weren't drunk, not drunk, Okay, So you in your right
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: mind when you called all these yeah okay, now so yeah,
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: so now what you hadn't done is you didn't said
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: some stuff to her that's been like pretty vile pretty much. Yeah, okay,
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: Uncle Steve we know one word. You can't see the trust.
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: Please say he didn't say that. Oh no, he said.
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: God now he said if he did, if he hadn't
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: said that, all kinds of so and souls when you
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: got through? Is that what you're saying? Be Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: see you you messed up though. Oh can you fix it?
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: See yeah, he can fix it. But it's a crawl
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: back process. Um, you gotta shower her. You gotta start
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: How how long y'all have been dating B three years? Yeah? Man,
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: you gotta start over. So this is Valentine's Day? What
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: what what you do for for her today? Well? She
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: worked in nights, so last night I just left some rollers, candles,
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: a balloons and a couple of gifts on the bed
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: foot when she came back because I'm not leaving in
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: the room right now. M Well, but they still in
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: the same house. Yeah, well he can work it out
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: of being the same house. Okay, So, but I thought
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: it was a long distance relationship. No, No, that was
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: the car earlier producing this. Dude. I love it. You
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: got a chance to come back. You're in the same house.
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: We got a chance. How long ago did this happen?
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: Let's a wee could come. Oh yeah, you got a chance.
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: But now let me explain something to you. Be. It's
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: going to have to be a constant shower of affection,
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: an array of apologies. One ain't gonna get it. Mhm.
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: The thought of someone else with the love of my
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: life was too much for me to bear. And I
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: thought I was actually losing you to another man. That's
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: pretty damn good. I struck out and I fired off
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: in ways that really ain't me. But if you thought
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: you were losing the love of your life, that everything
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: you ever hoped and dreamed of was walking out the door,
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: what would be your reaction. I'm sorry, Please don't leave me.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: You the greatest thing that's ever happened to me. And
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: that's got to be consistent. Man, look at six cold boy.
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: Yeah that's good, that's good. But you just said that.
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: That's good, Brian. I definitely appreciate that. More gifts, Brian,
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: more gifts, keep the gifts coming. You gotta show out, Be,
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: You gotta startled, but you can get a back though,
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: dog sober you do that moment you're listening to the
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Genius school principle is making parents
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: go to class with their misbehaving kids. I think I
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: like it. I think I like it. Yeah, twains and
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: teens don't always want to comply with the rules. But
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: one middle school in West Virginia, Steve get That, has
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: come up with a new approach to dealing with bad
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: behavior and it's really making a difference. Huntington Middle School
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: has started something they're calling reverse suspension, where the parent
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: of the suspended student comes to class and hangs out
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: with their kids. They sit by them, by their side
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: all day long. It's bad for the parent, but even worse,
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: they say, for the student. Especially. Think about it. Kids
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: in middle school are totally incompletely embarrassed by their parents anyway,
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: So imagine them coming to class and being next to
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: their misbehaving middle schooler for a whole day. Okay, that
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: would mortify that kid. And and this outside the box
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: solution is actually working. I love it. This is according
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: to principal Frank Barnett. This creative method for addressing non violent,
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: nonverbally abusive behavior has helped the school reduced student suspensions
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: by guests this much. Two thirds. That's a whole lot. Yeah,
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: listen to me, and I love it. I'm gonna I'm
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: gonna take off my jomb down to Coma and come
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: down here ship next year, Bony. I'll tell you what.
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: The last couple of molasses at this house. All your
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: shopping's gonna be with just your fingers because you don't
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: get no mobi. I'll tell you what. Let me take
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: another day off and come down here. I'll tell you what.
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: You know what I'll do to you. Your asked to
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: be in the back of that tree. You understand. I'll
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: tell you a little niked mary as to that tree
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: and I'll beat them. I'll beat the flesh off for you.
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: I'll beat you down to the dark meat funny. That's crazy,
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: that's really crazy, But I like it. I think it
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: a lot. Yeah, what if your parents had to come
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: down there, Steve in middle school? Let's take off, take
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: off work and come Oh. Yeah, I know I know
