- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things and the shove me through. Good to mother.
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join jo turning. You gotta turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out. Turn you got to turn out to turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: turn the water the water go. Come come on your
- 1:59Speaker 1: baby now, uh huh, I shall will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 1: You are listening to the voice, come on dig me now.
- 2:07Speaker 1: One and only Steve Harvey. Man got a radio show, man, Yeah,
- 2:13Speaker 1: I do. Steve Harvey got a radio show because I
- 2:18Speaker 1: can't tell it to you any other way because God
- 2:21Speaker 1: has been so so very amazing to me. But the
- 2:27Speaker 1: same God, and there is but one that same God is.
- 2:35Speaker 1: It can and will be amazing in your life if
- 2:38Speaker 1: you just allow it to happen. You know. I was somewhere,
- 2:43Speaker 1: you know, and I was driving on the freeway somewhere,
- 2:46Speaker 1: and I saw bill board and it was a guy
- 2:53Speaker 1: in a field on his knees. And on this billboard
- 2:58Speaker 1: it said something to the fact, when when you've run
- 3:03Speaker 1: out of answers, try prayer. I was. I was going
- 3:10Speaker 1: somewhere and I don't even remember I go so much, man,
- 3:14Speaker 1: I was just going somewhere and I saw this billboard
- 3:19Speaker 1: and I thought about that, And man, I cannot tell
- 3:24Speaker 1: you how true of a statement that is. When you've
- 3:29Speaker 1: run out of answers, when you don't know what to do,
- 3:33Speaker 1: when you feel weak, when you are at a low point,
- 3:38Speaker 1: when things just seem to keep happening to you, and
- 3:41Speaker 1: you don't understand why prayer is an amazing weapon. Prayer
- 3:48Speaker 1: is available to all of us. Here's a deal. You
- 3:54Speaker 1: don't have to go through the all of that you're
- 3:57Speaker 1: going through alone. See, I'm talking to men, women, boys, girls, students, leaders, bosses, employees.
- 4:08Speaker 1: I don't care what's happening. I don't care what your
- 4:10Speaker 1: situation is. I don't care if your relationship is all
- 4:14Speaker 1: jacked up. I don't care if your kids and your
- 4:17Speaker 1: relationship is jacked up. I don't care if your relationship
- 4:22Speaker 1: at work is shot. Your co workers seem to always
- 4:25Speaker 1: make you the buddy end of the joke. You always
- 4:29Speaker 1: somebody always talking about you behind your back. You're finding
- 4:32Speaker 1: it more and more necessary to try to hold your
- 4:35Speaker 1: head up and walk past these people when some days
- 4:38Speaker 1: you can't even get your chin up off your chest.
- 4:41Speaker 1: If you're a woman out there and you've been alone
- 4:44Speaker 1: by yourself for so long, and you're just tired of
- 4:47Speaker 1: being alone. You really want a relationship, you really want
- 4:51Speaker 1: to be have a mate, you want to meet your
- 4:54Speaker 1: soul mate, whatever it is, whatever it is, prayer is
- 5:00Speaker 1: the answer. You are listening to a guy who is
- 5:05Speaker 1: a direct recipient of prayer. I can't tell you anything
- 5:11Speaker 1: that I've gotten out of that I didn't pray about. Oh, now,
- 5:17Speaker 1: there are a lot of things. Hold on, let me
- 5:19Speaker 1: backtrack a little bit. There are a lot of things
- 5:21Speaker 1: that have happened in my life that I've gotten past
- 5:25Speaker 1: without praying, because I think my Mamma was praying for me.
- 5:28Speaker 1: And then a's this thing that God has called grace
- 5:31Speaker 1: and mercy that he just somehow keeps us all waking
- 5:35Speaker 1: up every day without foot on some form or solid
- 5:39Speaker 1: ground because He's just waiting on us to come to him.
- 5:42Speaker 1: But y'all, if you can implement prayer into your day
- 5:48Speaker 1: every single day, and I'm talking about put it in
- 5:52Speaker 1: there at the top of your day, put it in
- 5:55Speaker 1: there in the middly your day, put it in there
- 5:57Speaker 1: when you close your day out, when you're sitting at
- 6:01Speaker 1: your desk and ain't nobody bothering you. That's a good time. Now. Look,
- 6:06Speaker 1: you don't have to make no scene. You ain't got
- 6:09Speaker 1: to let everybody know. Oh I'm spiritual, I love God
- 6:12Speaker 1: looking me. Oh I'm down, or you ain't gonna do
- 6:14Speaker 1: none of that. Matter of fact, don't do it for
- 6:16Speaker 1: that reason, because if that's your reason for doing it,
- 6:19Speaker 1: that's gonna be your reward. If you want somebody to
- 6:22Speaker 1: just say, oh, they pray every you know, they pray
- 6:24Speaker 1: at lunch and they had a Bible on their desk
- 6:26Speaker 1: and they have a bunch of highlights in it. If
- 6:29Speaker 1: you're sitting it out there so people can see that
- 6:31Speaker 1: that's what you do, then that's gonna be your reward. Please, No, you,
- 6:35Speaker 1: that's gonna be your reward. What I want you to do,
- 6:40Speaker 1: it's pray. Ask God for the things the desires of
- 6:45Speaker 1: your heart, have a faith, believe in them. But pray earnestly. Man.
- 6:52Speaker 1: I mean, actually go at it with saying, hey, God,
- 6:56Speaker 1: listen to me. I can't do this without you. I
- 7:00Speaker 1: need your help. Listen, man, I know a lot of
- 7:04Speaker 1: people that pray. I know a lot of it. If
- 7:06Speaker 1: I told you the rich and famous that I talk
- 7:11Speaker 1: to that pray constantly. It would amas you. Go talk
- 7:15Speaker 1: to God about it. Man. Matter of fact, you have
- 7:17Speaker 1: already got yourself into trouble. Go talk to God about it.
- 7:22Speaker 1: You can't see no way out. You're in a situation.
- 7:25Speaker 1: You're thinking about doing something straight crazy. Pump your brake's partner.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Slow down a little bit, my man, slow down, don't don't.
- 7:34Speaker 1: All you're gonna do is make a situation worse. Go
- 7:37Speaker 1: over there today and talk to God. Talk to God
- 7:42Speaker 1: for real. Just and look, man, you know what. Man,
- 7:46Speaker 1: Sometimes I've gone to God and I've just said, Hey, God,
- 7:49Speaker 1: I don't have a clue. Matter of fact, I'm so
- 7:54Speaker 1: jacked up right now. God, I don't even really know
- 7:56Speaker 1: what to ask you for. I just need some help.
- 7:59Speaker 1: I'm so deep is some mess right now. Not only
- 8:04Speaker 1: can I not see the way out, I can't see
- 8:07Speaker 1: my way around. There's a there's a poem calling Victus,
- 8:13Speaker 1: and the opening line says, out of the night that
- 8:17Speaker 1: covers me black as a pit from pole to pole,
- 8:24Speaker 1: I thank God for whatever be from my unconquerable soul.
- 8:29Speaker 1: That this line is so deep. It starts off saying
- 8:34Speaker 1: I am in deep trouble. I'm in a pit, black
- 8:40Speaker 1: as a pit, from pole to pole. I'm talking about man.
- 8:44Speaker 1: From over there to over there, it's pitch black and
- 8:51Speaker 1: and and man, that's man. You've been in that situation before, y'all,
- 8:57Speaker 1: because I have. I'm talking about black as a pit,
- 9:01Speaker 1: from pole to pole. God is there, God is available.
- 9:08Speaker 1: God is always standing by. He just wants you to
- 9:13Speaker 1: come to him. See, he's been coming to you a
- 9:17Speaker 1: whole lot of times. He's presented himself. I can't tell
- 9:20Speaker 1: you how many times he's shown you how good a
- 9:23Speaker 1: god he is. He's given us all grace and mercy
- 9:26Speaker 1: without us asking for He's gotten you through some things.
- 9:29Speaker 1: And you looked at him. Who, Man, I don't know
- 9:31Speaker 1: how the hell. Okay, that's cool, I'm cool. No, no, no no, no, no,
- 9:35Speaker 1: that wasn't cool. That was God. Pray man, when you
- 9:39Speaker 1: out of answers and you don't know what to do, pray.
- 9:42Speaker 1: If you see some trouble coming, pray if you already
- 9:45Speaker 1: got into it, Pray if you don't know the answers,
- 9:48Speaker 1: Pray if you can't see no way out, pray. Pray man,
- 9:51Speaker 1: Talk to God. Don't make a scene, Just talk to God,
- 9:55Speaker 1: all right. Very important you're listening any show, Ladies and

- 11:30Speaker 1: given up Darry and oh what else? Did I have
- 11:37Speaker 1: a couple of things but my emotion. I had some
- 11:40Speaker 1: five guys, Yeah, I had five guys. Ain't had that
- 11:45Speaker 1: in the year shouting. I had five guys with the
- 11:49Speaker 1: bag of fries, and my guy bought it to me.
- 11:53Speaker 1: So I had my love and preheated at three fifty
- 11:55Speaker 1: weighting on it. He said, no, man, you even na
- 11:59Speaker 1: I bought it right here is hot? Now threw them
- 12:01Speaker 1: fries and there took them three burgers off that patty
- 12:04Speaker 1: and laid them on that put an extra slice of
- 12:06Speaker 1: cheese on it. Took my own bun and buttered it
- 12:09Speaker 1: and ran it in and skillet got my own or
- 12:13Speaker 1: smuckers or pickle chip soccers. Yea, laid it out there,
- 12:19Speaker 1: the extra male uh apart and put it back the game.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Did your sheet? They mess you up for the whole week.
- 12:28Speaker 1: I mean, if you ate it like that, not if
- 12:33Speaker 1: you know. I mean, it's just one, just a meal,
- 12:35Speaker 1: just to wash it all down. So now I just
- 12:39Speaker 1: drink water. I don't water. Drink water. And coffee. That's
- 12:43Speaker 1: really it. Peach cobbler ice cream, five guys with fries.
- 12:49Speaker 1: That's how much peach cobbler? Steve? How much peach? A
- 12:52Speaker 1: pan of it? Five guys? That's oh, I didn't need
- 12:58Speaker 1: the whole pan. Are you okay of it? Yeah? That's
- 13:04Speaker 1: what the chief. Are you fasting tomorrow? Huh? Are you
- 13:10Speaker 1: fasting tomorrow? Tomorrow? Intermittent fast to four pm? I just
- 13:16Speaker 1: go to four pm and I do yoga. I do
- 13:19Speaker 1: yoga before I come on the air. But when you
- 13:22Speaker 1: do something like that, you don't think you need to
- 13:23Speaker 1: go to like ten pm, just like I think you
- 13:29Speaker 1: need a clinging. I think after that, I'm already. I'm
- 13:33Speaker 1: on the cleans already. All right, listen coming up with
- 13:37Speaker 1: thirty two minutes after the hour, asked the CLOS Steve Harvey,
- 13:41Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer. Right after you're listening to Steve Harvey

- 13:49Speaker 1: the CLO. Lauren and South philm Michigan says, I'm a
- 13:53Speaker 1: thirty thirty year old engaged woman and I don't get
- 13:56Speaker 1: along with my future father in law because he assumed
- 13:59Speaker 1: I would take a job alongside my fiance in the
- 14:01Speaker 1: family business. I have no desire to work at a
- 14:05Speaker 1: dry cleaners. My fiance knows I only have a few
- 14:08Speaker 1: credits left to get my degree, and he's supporting me
- 14:11Speaker 1: while I finished school. Is meddling Daddy is causing problems
- 14:15Speaker 1: and causing my fiance to doubt my loyalty. What should
- 14:19Speaker 1: I do about it? First of all, explaining your damn
- 14:22Speaker 1: daddy in law that y'all ain't the Jeffersons right and
- 14:27Speaker 1: moving on up and you'll never be Yeah, see, we
- 14:30Speaker 1: ain't fit to move on up in the dry cleaning bus.
- 14:33Speaker 1: You know now, if you got a business, that was
- 14:35Speaker 1: your dream, sir, But you can't push this dream on her.
- 14:39Speaker 1: She going to college for a degree, She got a
- 14:41Speaker 1: right to pursue her own life goals and aspirations. She
- 14:44Speaker 1: can't go to college to work at the dry cleaner.
- 14:46Speaker 1: They ain't nothing wrong working with the dry cleaner. And
- 14:48Speaker 1: I think you can make a great business out of
- 14:50Speaker 1: having a dry cleaning business. But if that ain't what
- 14:53Speaker 1: she won't, that ain't for you to decide. So miss me.
- 14:59Speaker 1: With all that, we're moving on Pucci and Silver Springs.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Maryland says, I need your advice in a big mess.
- 15:06Speaker 1: My best friend and her boyfriend broke up because she
- 15:08Speaker 1: cheated on him. Her boyfriend came to my apartment saying
- 15:12Speaker 1: he needed to talk to me. He said he's attracted
- 15:15Speaker 1: to me and wanted to date me. I fell for
- 15:17Speaker 1: it and we ended up having sex. Once. He filmed
- 15:21Speaker 1: the whole thing and showed it to my best friend.
- 15:24Speaker 1: He had told her that he only did it to
- 15:27Speaker 1: get back at her. She took him back and they're
- 15:30Speaker 1: in love again. Meanwhile, we're not speaking. Why can't she
- 15:34Speaker 1: forgive me too? Like that oak? She forgive me too?
- 15:42Speaker 1: First of all, she cheated first, so the dude went
- 15:46Speaker 1: and then got back at her, which you showed it
- 15:49Speaker 1: to her, aye for aye. So she figured, well, I
- 15:52Speaker 1: did him, you did me. Can we go back? But
- 15:56Speaker 1: you didn't have to fall for that. Y'all not offended
- 16:00Speaker 1: to be friends ever. Sharon and Temper Arizona says, I'm
- 16:05Speaker 1: a fifty eight year old married woman. I've found out
- 16:07Speaker 1: my husband gave a girl that works with him two
- 16:10Speaker 1: thousand dollars to help her buy a car. He said,
- 16:13Speaker 1: she's twenty eight and a single mother, so he helped
- 16:15Speaker 1: her out because she's trying her best to keep her
- 16:17Speaker 1: job despite not having reliable transportation. He had her come
- 16:22Speaker 1: by the house so I could meet her. If he's
- 16:24Speaker 1: being a good samaritan and nothing's up, why couldn't he
- 16:27Speaker 1: tell me about it beforehand? What's up with that? Because
- 16:31Speaker 1: you wouldn't have let him get a girl a two
- 16:33Speaker 1: thousand dollars and he wanted to be a hero. You
- 16:36Speaker 1: know why he didn't asked you because you wasn't gonna
- 16:39Speaker 1: let him. That's why you know this ain't this? Ain't
- 16:42Speaker 1: hall with this little girl. I ain't saying that, But
- 16:47Speaker 1: I ain't saying that. Yeah, it's still better to ask
- 16:50Speaker 1: for what is it? Forgiveness than permission? Well, I ain't
- 16:53Speaker 1: know about a woman to call it. I wasn't sleeping
- 16:55Speaker 1: with Okay, thank you hello on it? Two thousand, Well,
- 17:03Speaker 1: I ain't never two thousand. That ain't none, So WIFEI
- 17:07Speaker 1: trust you into it. Ain't nothing now? But what was
- 17:10Speaker 1: two thousand? If you was in your thirties? Oh, you
- 17:14Speaker 1: couldn't have got two thousand, two thousand dollars. If I
- 17:20Speaker 1: had two thousand dollars, I wouldn't have been homeless. What
- 17:26Speaker 1: was two thousand dollars? Or hold shelter, So figure it out.
- 17:32Speaker 1: Figure it out. Um, all right, So Jay, you have
- 17:39Speaker 1: been paying child support to a little boy. You become fun, y'all,
- 17:43Speaker 1: good friends. He loves you, he thinks you your daddy.
- 17:46Speaker 1: You found out he's not, You're not the father. How
- 17:50Speaker 1: do you break it to this little boy? Break? I
- 17:55Speaker 1: don't know that I break his heart? In payments gonna

- 18:10Speaker 1: Who the hell this boy? And payment's gonna come to him.
- 18:14Speaker 1: I'm not gonna tell him I'm not his daddy, especially
- 18:17Speaker 1: if I've grown fond of him. Man, I love it,
- 18:20Speaker 1: and I'm not gonna remove myself as a force in
- 18:23Speaker 1: this boy's life. The payment's gonna stop Friday. Matter fact,
- 18:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna go down to HR and I'm gonna be
- 18:33Speaker 1: sitting there on Wednesday when they cut him. Do you
- 18:37Speaker 1: tell him this is the last payment? How old is
- 18:40Speaker 1: the boy? He's seven? No? No, he don't need to
- 18:44Speaker 1: know about no last payment. He don't even understand payments. Yeah,
- 18:49Speaker 1: he don't get no fourteen. I'm not gonna tell him
- 18:53Speaker 1: main no last payment either, But you will go ahead
- 18:55Speaker 1: to find your daddy. Your mama gonna have to tell
- 18:57Speaker 1: him white, you can't go and field trips no more?
- 19:00Speaker 1: So yeah, yeah, his lifestyle is going to change. Mama
- 19:04Speaker 1: gonna had to play some stuff to you. But who
- 19:06Speaker 1: I didn't get no shoes this year? Well you what
- 19:09Speaker 1: if it's real? Dad doesn't have it though? Yeah, and
- 19:12Speaker 1: you got it and his dad don't have it. Well,
- 19:14Speaker 1: I'm always helped the boy out. I ain't gonna never
- 19:16Speaker 1: just cut him out, all right, I'm always be there
- 19:19Speaker 1: for it, but it won't be in them payments though.
- 19:23Speaker 1: You're not gonna take this out of my check. Yeah. Now,
- 19:25Speaker 1: I'm gonna help out when I want to, but you're
- 19:28Speaker 1: not fit to keep taking this out of my check though,
- 19:31Speaker 1: that's not going to happen. It ain't the boys fault,
- 19:36Speaker 1: but I'm gonna help him. His lifestyle gonna change because
- 19:39Speaker 1: some information has changed it. His mama can't change daddy's.
- 19:46Speaker 1: So when daddy's changed, lifestyles changed, No, that's sorry. I'm
- 19:52Speaker 1: gonna help him. Always make sure he don't do without,
- 19:55Speaker 1: but it won't be in them payments like it's been
- 19:57Speaker 1: coming up. Help him out in the conversational one hand,

- 22:57Speaker 1: on a dictator shield. That's a that's or spontaneous partifically
- 23:03Speaker 1: of the diction, but any else partifically that's CC right now.
- 23:08Speaker 1: If you can't repeat it, it's because you don't know it. Now.
- 23:12Speaker 1: If that I can't repeat it, I just I've never
- 23:14Speaker 1: heard it, and nobody else have cause you've never heard it.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Don't mean exactly you've never heard the philosophical or scientific
- 23:24Speaker 1: equation for evolution. But you that don't mean you're gonna
- 23:29Speaker 1: know it. Well, what is that? What is that formula
- 23:35Speaker 1: you're talking about? See right there. I'm not gonna tell
- 23:38Speaker 1: you that because you're not gonna know it, know how,
- 23:41Speaker 1: But why don't you do the one thing that you
- 23:43Speaker 1: do know and that's how to complain? Why don't you
- 23:47Speaker 1: do that? Don't worry about me. I'm not worried about you,
- 23:54Speaker 1: but I'm just trying to converse with you that nobody
- 23:56Speaker 1: knows when you when you start preaching and you thank
- 23:59Speaker 1: you philosopher fighting, nobody knows what you're saying. That's how
- 24:03Speaker 1: I'm saying. That's you get shame on you? This are you?
- 24:07Speaker 1: Why are you waiting time? I'm not complaining, but now
- 24:13Speaker 1: all your church complaints did not just turn into deacon complaints.
- 24:18Speaker 1: No you're not. No no no no no no no
- 24:20Speaker 1: no no no no no no no no, you're not
- 24:22Speaker 1: gonna do that. Okay, No, no, I just did. I
- 24:26Speaker 1: just did. You don't tell me what I ain't gonna do.
- 24:29Speaker 1: I just DIDs. Boy, I just did. Now we cannot.
- 24:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna bring that up later on. But that what
- 24:40Speaker 1: you want? You don't run up on this hill. So
- 24:46Speaker 1: here's the deal passed the app there are quite a
- 24:50Speaker 1: few church complaints today and there were people that was
- 24:53Speaker 1: just very upset about some things. Now here's what I
- 24:56Speaker 1: thought I would do differently, because you always get up
- 24:59Speaker 1: upset with me, with me bringing Jesus this boy, get
- 25:04Speaker 1: on with this hell, you get upset with me bringing
- 25:06Speaker 1: the news. But I thought I would let you hear
- 25:08Speaker 1: it so you can hear what I hear when I
- 25:11Speaker 1: get it. Let's go. Here's the first one. Antastic man, Oh,
- 25:17Speaker 1: we need to we need to get an age woman
- 25:19Speaker 1: on Hunt because I don't knows tell you, but last
- 25:24Speaker 1: year all of your dolts are stealing all these shrugs
- 25:29Speaker 1: like you were a fighting name before us and are
- 25:32Speaker 1: pushing kids out to wife. I don't even know what
- 25:36Speaker 1: to try. Like, we're gonna do something about this. Put
- 25:39Speaker 1: an age women on this, please. They want an age
- 25:44Speaker 1: limit path on the Eastern egg Hunt that's coming up.
- 25:47Speaker 1: And then the kids that come was trying to follow him.
- 25:53Speaker 1: And I think what we're gonna have to do is
- 25:55Speaker 1: we're gonna have to or bring back to better anting ministry.
- 26:03Speaker 1: That's what I'm not gonna be doing is addressing or
- 26:06Speaker 1: heat your old with some complaints about the damn Easter egg.
- 26:09Speaker 1: We don't have to ball none of the egg. I
- 26:13Speaker 1: like my egg sonny side up, if you want a
- 26:15Speaker 1: little truth about it. And every time we ball it,
- 26:18Speaker 1: you said, even put a color on it. I think
- 26:19Speaker 1: it's gonna waste the egg. And then a waste the egg,
- 26:23Speaker 1: gonna waste the paint. You know, you gotta look at
- 26:25Speaker 1: a different way. It ain't paint is die? Well are
- 26:29Speaker 1: we wasting die or are we wasting a egg? You
- 26:33Speaker 1: have to look at it that away. What we're wasting
- 26:35Speaker 1: right now, Deacon is time. Well, then let's get to it.
- 26:39Speaker 1: You want to know what's going on and what people
- 26:41Speaker 1: upset about. Here's the next one path to that. I
- 26:44Speaker 1: when I check my voice, man, this is what I get. Hey, hey,
- 26:47Speaker 1: Deacon death Camp. Hey this Malcolm. Uh. They say as
- 26:51Speaker 1: to Davis, I know y'all mess around and everything, and
- 26:54Speaker 1: I ain't telling you what you're doing. But I'm hearing
- 26:56Speaker 1: your pregnant. That's all I know. I see around around
- 26:59Speaker 1: brother you Geen's apartment all the time, but I ain't
- 27:01Speaker 1: trying to start no mess. But they say, I know
- 27:04Speaker 1: y'all cools, but they say she's pregnant. I'm just saying
- 27:10Speaker 1: you know you didn't held Well, brother Eugene ain't impregnated
- 27:14Speaker 1: no woman. I know we all know that when we
- 27:19Speaker 1: do not that we do know that. But I'm just
- 27:21Speaker 1: so now, why you would even record that. They're saying
- 27:26Speaker 1: that you have something to do with her. That's o't understand.
- 27:30Speaker 1: I don't give a damn what he said. The confusion
- 27:34Speaker 1: is you said he she's pregnant by brother Eugene. Now
- 27:38Speaker 1: we were put Eugene out the church, so he's no
- 27:43Speaker 1: longer member here, So why you didn't drug him back?
- 27:46Speaker 1: I can't. I don't do complaints again former members. I
- 27:50Speaker 1: only do current members. I understand, I understand. Why won't
- 27:56Speaker 1: you move on? And then I move on? Now here's
- 27:59Speaker 1: the next complaint that I heard on my voice. Man,
- 28:02Speaker 1: I want you to take a lesson. Good afternoon. This
- 28:05Speaker 1: is Blake White. I've been attending the church congregation for
- 28:09Speaker 1: many years now, and I'm wondering, where are we going
- 28:13Speaker 1: to get some more white people in there? Well, asked
- 28:20Speaker 1: brother Blake White, when is he gonna bring some more
- 28:24Speaker 1: white We bought him in as a recruiting tool. Obviously
- 28:30Speaker 1: he has failed in that department. Now, don't come at me.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Come at that we're gonna get some white members. I'm
- 28:40Speaker 1: happy with the membership we got, but I bought him
- 28:44Speaker 1: in thinking he was gonna bring in some more white folks. No,
- 28:48Speaker 1: obviously white folk don't want to worship with us. Yeah,
- 28:52Speaker 1: and I can't make Yeah. I have a a question
- 29:00Speaker 1: about wife fool while with Taylor Swift owned Grammar is
- 29:04Speaker 1: performing at a campsite. That's a question. I I didn't
- 29:09Speaker 1: understand that at all, all that fake ass grasp and
- 29:12Speaker 1: everything we all know you ain't outside. Thank you, Pastor
- 29:16Speaker 1: and Deacon. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 29:18Speaker 1: Entertainment news and our national news update with miss Anne
- 29:21Speaker 1: Trip right after this, you're listening Dave Harvey Morning Show.
- 29:28Speaker 1: Professional boxer and former undisputed middleweight champ Marvelous Marvin Hagler
- 29:34Speaker 1: has died at the age of sixty six. His wife
- 29:38Speaker 1: made the announcement on Facebook. She said, I am sorry
- 29:41Speaker 1: to make a very sad announcement today. Unfortunately, my beloved husband,
- 29:46Speaker 1: Marvelous Marvin passed away unexpectedly at his home here in
- 29:51Speaker 1: New Hampshire. Our family requests that you respect our privacy
- 29:54Speaker 1: during this difficult time. With Love Haggler. Of course, became
- 29:59Speaker 1: the undisputed away champ in nineteen eighty. During his professional
- 30:03Speaker 1: boxing career, he had sixty two wins, three losses, two draws,
- 30:08Speaker 1: and fifty two wins by a knockout. He was inducted international. Yes,
- 30:14Speaker 1: he was inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame back
- 30:16Speaker 1: in nineteen ninety three. After he retired from the ring,
- 30:19Speaker 1: he moved to Italy to become an actor. Hely after
- 30:23Speaker 1: the Sugar Ray fight. After Sugar Ray, that's right, because
- 30:26Speaker 1: he couldn't believe he lost. That was the last time,
- 30:28Speaker 1: and that was a highly controversial win. For there was
- 30:34Speaker 1: arguments in the barber shops. I'm telling you I was years.
- 30:37Speaker 1: I was there. I mean, man, they showed that flight
- 30:41Speaker 1: on why Will the Sports, and I'm telling you, man,
- 30:43Speaker 1: we was at it. We walked about that fight for
- 30:46Speaker 1: about good eight months in the barber shop and it
- 30:50Speaker 1: was fifty fifty. Had you met him? Steve met him once.
- 30:54Speaker 1: I just met him once. I just met him once.
- 30:57Speaker 1: But it was been passing. It wasn't nothing memorable. I
- 31:00Speaker 1: don't have no stories about it. But if you fight
- 31:03Speaker 1: sixty two times and you lose three times, he's a
- 31:08Speaker 1: badass dude and fifty two of the sixty two. Fifty
- 31:14Speaker 1: two of the sixty two was a knockout. He was
- 31:16Speaker 1: whipping his people's ass. Man, if he would have stuck
- 31:22Speaker 1: around and not not Italy and went to all of
- 31:27Speaker 1: the boxing traditional stuff, he would be it would be
- 31:31Speaker 1: more done about this right now. But he absolutely went
- 31:35Speaker 1: off the grid when he lost that fight to Sugar
- 31:38Speaker 1: Ray Lennard. And you know, and you know they're not
- 31:42Speaker 1: saying what he died from, but his legal name, his
- 31:47Speaker 1: legal name was marvelous. His legal name was marvelous Marvin Hagger.
- 31:54Speaker 1: And let me tell you something, man, when he got
- 31:57Speaker 1: in the rain, your ass had to have it together
- 32:00Speaker 1: because he was coming to wallow. What was the biggest
- 32:04Speaker 1: fog that that that first round right there, that round
- 32:11Speaker 1: number one. Never seen a fight start that way in
- 32:16Speaker 1: modern day times. What happened? They was banging. They came
- 32:22Speaker 1: out for War nine. It was war. They was banging.
- 32:25Speaker 1: That's why I'm telling you right now. The only person
- 32:29Speaker 1: today that would have fought in that era and been
- 32:33Speaker 1: effective was Mayweather. You know, Pernelle Whittakernel, all the boys
- 32:38Speaker 1: was deadly, but the only one today that was fighting
- 32:42Speaker 1: around and now that would have survived back there to
- 32:46Speaker 1: me was Mayweather. Because couldn't none of them boards have
- 32:50Speaker 1: hooked Alexis way old or and the Hawk prior or
- 32:55Speaker 1: beneath tars. They'd all got their ass hohooked, every lad
- 33:00Speaker 1: one of them. Couldn't have whipped nobody, Yson, Fury, Dante Wilder, Joshua,
- 33:09Speaker 1: couldn't none of them half whooped farming homes, Ali Frasier, Norton,
- 33:18Speaker 1: spins Dukes, tell us, I can go down to this.
- 33:23Speaker 1: They couldn't have whipped none of them boys back then,
- 33:27Speaker 1: Quick Tillers. They couldn't have fought. They couldn't whipped none
- 33:29Speaker 1: of them boys back then. All right, ladies and gentlemen,
- 33:32Speaker 1: Miss Anne Trill, thank you very very much. The city
- 33:35Speaker 1: of Minneapolis has agreed to pay the family of the
- 33:38Speaker 1: late mister George Floyd twenty seven million dollars for his
- 33:41Speaker 1: murder at the hands or should I say, the knee
- 33:44Speaker 1: of a now fired white cop named Derek Chauvin, with
- 33:46Speaker 1: a half a million dollars of that song to be
- 33:48Speaker 1: invested in the neighborhood where Floyd was murdered. It's to
- 33:51Speaker 1: be chatted as the largest pre trial settlement in the
- 33:54Speaker 1: civil rights wrongful death in civil rights history, and attorney
- 33:58Speaker 1: Benjamin Crump says, the pout and this sends a message
- 34:00Speaker 1: that black lives do matter and that the word of
- 34:03Speaker 1: a award, by the way comes As jury selection continues
- 34:06Speaker 1: in Chauvin's trial, by the end of the day on Friday,
- 34:09Speaker 1: six jurors had been selected, three white men, one black man,
- 34:13Speaker 1: one Hispanic man, and a woman who describes herself as
- 34:16Speaker 1: multi racial. Two more prominent congressional Democrats are calling for
- 34:20Speaker 1: New York States Governor Andrew Cuomo to resign after a
- 34:24Speaker 1: six woman has come forward accused him of groping her.
- 34:26Speaker 1: A seventh over the weekend, unidentified claims that he made
- 34:30Speaker 1: her feel at one point uncomfortable. The head of the
- 34:33Speaker 1: House Judiciary Committee, Jerry Nadler, and Representative Alexander Ocasio Cortez
- 34:38Speaker 1: both saint Cuomo's got to be a no mo and meanwhile,
- 34:41Speaker 1: both the New York State Assembly and the New York
- 34:43Speaker 1: State Attorney General's Office are conducting independent probes. President Biden
- 34:48Speaker 1: and Vice President Kamala Harris hit the road this week
- 34:51Speaker 1: to make sure that the American people know just what's
- 34:53Speaker 1: in his new trillion dollar aid package and that they
- 34:56Speaker 1: hear it basically from that horse's mouth, so to speak,
- 34:59Speaker 1: versus scheduled a visit parts of rural Pennsylvania and then
- 35:02Speaker 1: go down to Atlanta. Duke University has ordered his undergraduates
- 35:06Speaker 1: to quarantine themselves for a week because so many of
- 35:09Speaker 1: them attended rush week for aspiring fraternity and sorority members
- 35:14Speaker 1: and it was like close quarters and stuff, a lot
- 35:16Speaker 1: of drinking. I guess our health officials say that the
- 35:18Speaker 1: recruitment parties have resulted in an uptick apparently in coronavirus infections,
- 35:22Speaker 1: So they want everybody just kind of stay hunkering down
- 35:25Speaker 1: in your dorms or whatever for a week and just
- 35:27Speaker 1: make sure everybody gets okay. At last night's Grammy, it
- 35:31Speaker 1: was Beyonce winning another four awards and now with twenty
- 35:35Speaker 1: eight Grammys, Queen Bay is the winning a single performer
- 35:38Speaker 1: in Grammy history, Male or Female, Living or Debt. Yeah,
- 35:43Speaker 1: Beyonce is now tied with producer Quincy Jones. That's Queen Bay.
- 35:47Speaker 1: And sadly, we have lost another great boxer. We gotta
- 35:52Speaker 1: let him go. Love Tko. We all love marvelous Marvin Hagler.
- 35:56Speaker 1: He was the undisputed middleweight Champ of the World from
- 35:58Speaker 1: nineteen eighty to nineteen eighty seven. Inducted into the International
- 36:02Speaker 1: Boxing Hall of Fame in nineteen ninety three. No cause
- 36:04Speaker 1: of death mentioned. He was sixty six. You know, Leon
- 36:07Speaker 1: Spinks passed away last month. Now back to the Steve
- 36:10Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 36:16Speaker 1: come on, introduce your friend you know who about further
- 36:21Speaker 1: Ado Jay Anthony, that damn Brown In honor of the Drammys.
- 36:29Speaker 1: In honor of Bruno Marsh's brand new song, Oh Yeah,
- 36:33Speaker 1: here it is. Did I do it? Men? No hit it?
- 36:39Speaker 1: This is a song about the man who realizes it's
- 36:43Speaker 1: time to stop. It happens in everybody's life. Everybody check
- 36:49Speaker 1: it out? Here we go. What is that look like?
- 36:53Speaker 1: The wearing pants and a cap amate the reader's time
- 36:59Speaker 1: and bolted and the taste some good taste. OK, I
- 37:02Speaker 1: ain't a most can't buy my trolls. I need a
- 37:06Speaker 1: moaning I just made. I can't remember it's September, eating
- 37:13Speaker 1: hot wings onion rings with my hot soft stripped smacking
- 37:18Speaker 1: or eating the shame or winout in game, eating and
- 37:22Speaker 1: cause and I mean been by the I think I
- 37:29Speaker 1: need to stop smoking. Jane need the stop smokeing. I
- 37:35Speaker 1: need to stop smoking now, the stop smoking, the pun
- 37:43Speaker 1: and jokeing. Chane need the stop smoking my baily poking now, Janey,
- 37:52Speaker 1: the zap smokeing. I took the drivel to Oh plain,
- 37:58Speaker 1: I didna do it. Oh yeah, you're stupid. I like
- 38:07Speaker 1: the fact that you have no sense. I love Chip Chip.
- 38:15Speaker 1: I don't respect people with sense. I like people with ja.
- 38:21Speaker 1: You need to stop smoke. It's good to see Bruno
- 38:29Speaker 1: Mars back though with the heater. You know everything he does.
- 38:34Speaker 1: He's a throwback. He's that dude. Man, that's really keeping
- 38:39Speaker 1: good music alive that you know. The Grammys, man, I
- 38:43Speaker 1: like the way they dressed on the Grammys. I love
- 38:46Speaker 1: the way some of them was dressing. Some of them
- 38:49Speaker 1: young cast was pimping out there. Boy. All right, guys,
- 38:53Speaker 1: we're moving on. Coming up at thirty four minutes after
- 38:55Speaker 1: the hour, gospel music legend and our friend Kirk Franklin.
- 38:59Speaker 1: It's ending after his oldest son leaked audio of Kirk
- 39:03Speaker 1: kursing him out. We'll talk about it right after this.
- 39:07Speaker 1: You're listening to the Stave Show. Well, I'm sure you, guys,
- 39:12Speaker 1: have heard this story or heard about this story by now.
- 39:15Speaker 1: Kirk Franklin's oldest son, carry On Franklin, is thirty three.
- 39:19Speaker 1: He released to audio and audio of a phone conversation
- 39:23Speaker 1: with Kirk that went left I mean crazy, real fast,
- 39:26Speaker 1: real quick, and Kirk can be heard yelling and cursing
- 39:30Speaker 1: at his son. Kirk use words, be he used ass
- 39:34Speaker 1: and a few f bombs were thrown in there before
- 39:37Speaker 1: his son hung up. Now the video has gone viral
- 39:40Speaker 1: on social media, Kirk issued an explanation. He issued an apology.
- 39:45Speaker 1: Kirk admitted to having a toxic, very tense relationship with
- 39:49Speaker 1: his son and stated they've been to counseling for years
- 39:52Speaker 1: and this private family matter was supposed to be between them.
- 39:56Speaker 1: He added in the recording, the part where he called
- 39:59Speaker 1: a family they therapists to intervene was omitted from the audio.
- 40:04Speaker 1: Kirk asked for compassion and prayers from his fans, parenting
- 40:08Speaker 1: it's hard, but I mean, Steve, I'm gonna put it
- 40:12Speaker 1: like this, didn't you say you were a guest on
- 40:14Speaker 1: Kirk's show last week? I was a guest on his
- 40:17Speaker 1: podcast last week and one of the questions asked me
- 40:22Speaker 1: Kirk asked me and joking was uncle, I know you cuss.
- 40:26Speaker 1: Do you have a go to cuss word? And I said, yeah,
- 40:28Speaker 1: I do. He said, well what is it? I said
- 40:30Speaker 1: it start with the M. And then he said, well
- 40:33Speaker 1: on this podcast you can say it. So I okay, cool.
- 40:37Speaker 1: So I said it and he said, why is that
- 40:39Speaker 1: your go to word? I said, because it it's a warning,
- 40:43Speaker 1: it's a term of endearment, it's it's an enlightening term.
- 40:48Speaker 1: It's it can use and when I'm being jovial, it
- 40:52Speaker 1: could be used referring to an enemy or a friend.
- 40:57Speaker 1: It's just one of the most versatile words that I found.
- 41:01Speaker 1: And you know, we joked about it, and so this
- 41:03Speaker 1: thing came out. Now here's what I don't like. I
- 41:07Speaker 1: do not like the quote unquote Christian community attacking Kirk
- 41:14Speaker 1: for his language. First of all, it's human. He's a man.
- 41:21Speaker 1: Tommy has a son. I have sons. Tommy got sons,
- 41:26Speaker 1: I got sons, Jake got sons. None of all of
- 41:30Speaker 1: us have had this conversation with our boys, every last
- 41:36Speaker 1: one of us. But I don't like the Christian community
- 41:40Speaker 1: jumping on Kirk. You should have never used that type
- 41:42Speaker 1: of language to your son. He don't deserve that. Woa woa,
- 41:48Speaker 1: oh he had y'all have no ideal when you try
- 41:52Speaker 1: to provide a life for a child and they have
- 41:55Speaker 1: this sense of entitlement and nothing you do is enough.
- 41:59Speaker 1: You can ain't fix it. You should have did this,
- 42:03Speaker 1: But they're old enough to make choices, and when they
- 42:06Speaker 1: make a bad choice and get in a bad position,
- 42:08Speaker 1: NIC's your fault. I'm gonna say that, I'm gonna let
- 42:10Speaker 1: the other brothers talk. Then I got something else to say.
- 42:12Speaker 1: Let me, let me, let me, let me jump in,
- 42:14Speaker 1: let me say this. What bothers me more than anything, Steve,
- 42:17Speaker 1: is that there there's words between a man and his son.
- 42:22Speaker 1: What bothers me is for a son who record this
- 42:27Speaker 1: and put this out there on his father to try
- 42:30Speaker 1: and destroy his father. That's what bothers me more than anything.
- 42:35Speaker 1: I already know words go back and forth between a
- 42:38Speaker 1: man and his son. It happens all the time, it
- 42:40Speaker 1: happens every day. But for you to say, I'm gonna
- 42:42Speaker 1: put this out across the airwaves on every social media
- 42:46Speaker 1: outlet industry and let everybody know this how this is
- 42:49Speaker 1: how my dad had talked. That's the part I thought
- 42:52Speaker 1: was so cruel is what do you do because what
- 42:56Speaker 1: you have, what you're not realizing, young man, in your
- 42:58Speaker 1: twenty something years old, is that your thirty three, you're
- 43:04Speaker 1: destroying something that takes care of you. Yeah, your punk ass,
- 43:10Speaker 1: Come on, man, now here a punk asser. He ain't
- 43:13Speaker 1: even my son. Go ahead, John, He is definitely a
- 43:15Speaker 1: punk ass. And I applaud Kurt for what he did.
- 43:19Speaker 1: But in my opinion, this is just my opinion. He
- 43:22Speaker 1: left a lot of words out. There's a lot of
- 43:25Speaker 1: cuss words, man, that and he's really a new cursor.
- 43:31Speaker 1: He's been a Christian loan than he's been a cusser.
- 43:34Speaker 1: And there's there's several words that he could have used
- 43:37Speaker 1: that would have got the message across. And I understand
- 43:40Speaker 1: where he's coming from. You don't owe nobody, and I
- 43:43Speaker 1: mean nobody an apology, not even your son at all. Right, right,
- 43:49Speaker 1: I say this, you guys have sons? Sure, sure, sure,
- 43:53Speaker 1: hold on, Hold on, hold, Okay, let's bring this back.
- 43:55Speaker 1: We'll talk about more this when we come back. Right now.
- 43:57Speaker 1: Get this, Okay, you're listening. She's Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 44:03Speaker 1: All right. Before we went to break, we were talking
- 44:04Speaker 1: about what happened between Kirk Franklin and his son, and
- 44:08Speaker 1: of course Steve and Tommy and Jay talked about their sons.
- 44:12Speaker 1: We were Kirk, let's get that understood. We were Kurt,
- 44:16Speaker 1: you're gonna hear the Strawberry letter, You're gonna hear the
- 44:18Speaker 1: prank phone call. But we wanted to just finish, you know,
- 44:21Speaker 1: just wrap this this um conversation. I think Jay was
- 44:25Speaker 1: trying to finish up. Go ahead, Jay, No. I was
- 44:27Speaker 1: just saying that Kurt left out a lot of words.
- 44:29Speaker 1: And I don't think that he owes his son an
- 44:31Speaker 1: apology for nothing. I don't think he owes the public
- 44:35Speaker 1: and apolo the public. What happened was a lot of
- 44:40Speaker 1: them fake Christians started attacking him like they don't cuss. Well,
- 44:44Speaker 1: if you don't cuss, you do something. You're sleeping with
- 44:47Speaker 1: one of the other church members that you ain't supposed
- 44:49Speaker 1: to be sleeping with, your line, your back bite, and
- 44:52Speaker 1: you're stealing your past and judgment. We are all sinners.
- 44:57Speaker 1: We are all sinners now. A lot of so skip that.
- 45:03Speaker 1: And I told her I talked to Kirk Franklin. I
- 45:05Speaker 1: called my friend and I told her, I said, hey,
- 45:08Speaker 1: me said, it's a rough day from me, I said me,
- 45:10Speaker 1: get your head up. You did what you were supposed
- 45:13Speaker 1: to do. All of us didn't cussed our sons out
- 45:15Speaker 1: because they get to that age where they start smelling, smelling,
- 45:18Speaker 1: they piss like they somebody, And you're not fitting to
- 45:21Speaker 1: be king over me, partner, And now you're gonna try
- 45:24Speaker 1: to destroy the one person that can do something for
- 45:26Speaker 1: your monkey ass. But you took your thirty three year
- 45:29Speaker 1: old ass out here, made a bunch of decisions counter
- 45:32Speaker 1: to the way you was raised. And now it's Kirk's fault. No,
- 45:35Speaker 1: it ain't kirk fault. You're thirty three. What y'all don't
- 45:38Speaker 1: know is it punk ass call asking for money and stuff?
- 45:42Speaker 1: And what Kirk said, Now now all of a sudden,
- 45:44Speaker 1: you ain't this to me? Hold up, man, You can
- 45:47Speaker 1: miss me with all that right there, Kirk, Shoot up man,
- 45:52Speaker 1: and at this man. At the end of the day,
- 45:56Speaker 1: when you're thinking, why would you cuss out the one
- 45:59Speaker 1: person that's really there for you when you really need
- 46:04Speaker 1: when you really need help. Right, You'll see what you
- 46:07Speaker 1: want about your daddy, But when you when you really
- 46:09Speaker 1: up against the wall, who comes through for you all
- 46:14Speaker 1: the time, all the time, all the time, I don't
- 46:16Speaker 1: see anything wrong. I didn't see anything wrong with what
- 46:19Speaker 1: Kirk said. We also, he hasn't been saved all his life.
- 46:24Speaker 1: If nobody's perfect in this situation, Saranting is hard. Saranting
- 46:30Speaker 1: is hard. It is just hard. You want your kids,
- 46:33Speaker 1: You do whatever you can for your kids. You love them,
- 46:36Speaker 1: you give them the best, you try, you know, to
- 46:38Speaker 1: try to give them better than what your parents gave you.
- 46:41Speaker 1: All that, and it still boils down to the same thing.
- 46:44Speaker 1: I think you guys have already said me. You can
- 46:46Speaker 1: never do enough. You can never let me say this.
- 46:48Speaker 1: Though you're saying it's saved, the same people comes too, Yes,
- 46:55Speaker 1: the same people are. So we are Kirk's Kurt is
- 47:01Speaker 1: still saved. But dog, you didn't you didn't You didn't
- 47:04Speaker 1: hit me too hard? I got to come at you.
- 47:06Speaker 1: It happened. Yeah, look I'm looking at bout I'm right now.
- 47:09Speaker 1: And that should not be a discussion between father and
- 47:12Speaker 1: son and what's in the family inside your house. My
- 47:16Speaker 1: parents always told me that my mom was is in
- 47:19Speaker 1: this house, stays in this stay And why was that
- 47:22Speaker 1: on social media? We don't even we didn't even have
- 47:24Speaker 1: social media back then. But you don't go telling your
- 47:27Speaker 1: friends or even other family members what happens in our house.
- 47:31Speaker 1: You didn't tell my grandmama, my mama. Whoop your ass?
- 47:35Speaker 1: You got another ass. And we can talk about this
- 47:40Speaker 1: all morning, guy, but we gotta get to this prank.
- 47:43Speaker 1: What you guy for us? Now? I got I got
- 47:47Speaker 1: neighborhood watch. I want to keep talking about this, but
- 47:49Speaker 1: I got a neighborhood watch. Here it is. Come on, hello,
- 47:53Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach Yeah, it's Johnny. Okay. You're the

- 48:03Speaker 1: this Johnny? Who is this man? This is PJ? Answer

- 51:14Speaker 1: your service. I'm helping your lazy U. Stop your watching
- 51:18Speaker 1: people looking to see if they're looking at your damn watch.
- 51:21Speaker 1: Why don't you get your second job or something? Man?
- 51:24Speaker 1: Why don't you google? Whyn't you look at muster dot
- 51:27Speaker 1: com or something? What the hell is wrong with you

- 51:38Speaker 1: Because I got something for you? Who is going to
- 51:40Speaker 1: tell you who it is. This is nephew Timmy from

- 52:05Speaker 1: because I said, ain't nobody to go get me on?
- 52:07Speaker 1: No prank man, I don't fall ain't time for that, man. Damn.
- 52:13Speaker 1: Frank White told me you do the neighborhood. Watch oh man,
- 52:16Speaker 1: She said, you do the neighborhood you walk, you know,
- 52:18Speaker 1: because what you gotta. Rob Wild told me that's why
- 52:21Speaker 1: I use niggers. I want to be safe. Man. Just

- 52:35Speaker 1: her though. All right. Let me ask you this though,
- 52:39Speaker 1: what else the baddest and I'm talking about the baddest
- 52:41Speaker 1: radio show in the land made the Steve Harvey Show. Wow,
- 52:51Speaker 1: you got him. Let y'all laugh a little bit? Is me?
- 53:00Speaker 1: You all are the same stupid, keep stupid, all right, nephew,
- 53:10Speaker 1: thank you. Coming up next, it is my strawberry letter.
- 53:13Speaker 1: The subject. He came home the next day with a
- 53:16Speaker 1: clean shirt on. Oh, we'll talk about it right after

- 53:29Speaker 1: and relationships, dating, work, sex, parenting and more, please submit
- 53:33Speaker 1: your Strawberry Letter to Steve Harvey FM dot com and
- 53:38Speaker 1: click submit Strawberry Letter. We've been getting some really good
- 53:41Speaker 1: one lady lately, and this one probably will be just
- 53:45Speaker 1: as good. We'll be reading this letter live on the
- 53:49Speaker 1: air right here, right now, All right, let's get to it.
- 53:52Speaker 1: Buckle up and hold on tight. We got it for you. Here.
- 53:54Speaker 1: It is Strawberry Letter. Thank you enough you subject. He
- 53:57Speaker 1: came home the next day with a clean shirt on.
- 54:00Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a twenty nine year old woman
- 54:03Speaker 1: and I've been engaged for two years. I've never questioned
- 54:06Speaker 1: my man's loyalty to me, and in the five years
- 54:09Speaker 1: total that we've been together, I don't think he's ever
- 54:12Speaker 1: cheated on me. We lived together, and I have all
- 54:15Speaker 1: of his passwords to his phone, social media accounts, and
- 54:18Speaker 1: his checking account. He has all of mine too. Things
- 54:22Speaker 1: changed after the COVID lockdown, loosened up and now he's
- 54:27Speaker 1: trying to hang out more than usual. Recently, he went
- 54:30Speaker 1: out with his friends and he called me to say
- 54:33Speaker 1: and said that he got too intoxicated to drive home.
- 54:37Speaker 1: He said he was going to spend the night at
- 54:39Speaker 1: his coworker's house. I was glad he was safe and
- 54:42Speaker 1: I didn't suspect anything. The next morning, I called to
- 54:46Speaker 1: check on him, and his phone went straight to voicemail.
- 54:49Speaker 1: When he finally got home around noon, I was hot.
- 54:54Speaker 1: He came in and tried to kiss me, and all
- 54:56Speaker 1: I could smell was laundry detergent and fab softener. Wherever
- 55:01Speaker 1: he had been. He washed his shirt before he came home.
- 55:05Speaker 1: The first thing I asked was if he got sick
- 55:08Speaker 1: and threw up on himself. He was all defensive and
- 55:11Speaker 1: said no. And why did I ask him that. I
- 55:13Speaker 1: told him I could tell his shirt had been washed
- 55:16Speaker 1: and ironed. He looked like a fool and tried to
- 55:18Speaker 1: say I was crazy. He got on the couch and
- 55:21Speaker 1: immediately fell asleep. I looked through his cell phone and
- 55:25Speaker 1: he had deleted all of his text messages and he
- 55:28Speaker 1: deleted his call log. It's been three days and I'm
- 55:31Speaker 1: not speaking to him. I want to squash this situation.
- 55:35Speaker 1: But there's no need to nag him over and over
- 55:38Speaker 1: for answers. I know he's up to something. How do
- 55:41Speaker 1: I handle this maturely without trying to break his neck?
- 55:45Speaker 1: Please advise well for starters, the silent treatment is good.
- 55:50Speaker 1: The silent treatment is good. I mean, men hate it,
- 55:52Speaker 1: That's why I love it. I am a fan of silence,
- 55:56Speaker 1: I am. But this guy is all the way wrong.
- 56:00Speaker 1: He's lying, and everything you said makes your case about
- 56:04Speaker 1: the call log and the shirt smelling all fresh and
- 56:08Speaker 1: clean like he had just washed and ironed it. In
- 56:11Speaker 1: a court of law, this case would be dismissed because
- 56:13Speaker 1: of lack of evidence. But you know, as a woman,
- 56:17Speaker 1: with your intuition and how you investigate and smell and
- 56:20Speaker 1: snoop around and all that, you know you're right. I
- 56:23Speaker 1: don't think he'll ever admit to cheating or whatever he
- 56:27Speaker 1: was doing in this lifetime. Please do not let him
- 56:31Speaker 1: flip it and try to make it seem like this
- 56:33Speaker 1: is your fault, like you don't have the right to
- 56:35Speaker 1: question him. I mean, you guys have been living together
- 56:38Speaker 1: for five years. You know you have a right to
- 56:41Speaker 1: do whatever you live with this man. It's not nagging,
- 56:45Speaker 1: and you're not crazy and you're not always complaining. You
- 56:48Speaker 1: just want the truth. But you're not gonna get it.
- 56:50Speaker 1: He's gonna take it to the grave with his lies
- 56:54Speaker 1: and defensiveness. That's what he's been doing. That's all you're
- 56:57Speaker 1: gonna get. So, you know, if you're really fed up
- 57:00Speaker 1: up and sick of it at this point and you
- 57:02Speaker 1: really want the truth, I mean, you got to be
- 57:04Speaker 1: prepared to walk away if you're that thick of it,
- 57:06Speaker 1: because you're not gonna get that. All right, You're not
- 57:09Speaker 1: gonna get that. Steve im I don't understand the purpose
- 57:15Speaker 1: for the letter. I really don't. I mean, surely from
- 57:20Speaker 1: your standpoint, I can understand everything you said, But from
- 57:24Speaker 1: my standpoint, I don't even know. It's some stupidity in
- 57:28Speaker 1: this letter that this guy didn't capitalize on. I just
- 57:33Speaker 1: don't understand at all. Here's a woman who has never
- 57:41Speaker 1: questioned her man's loyalty in five years they've been together,
- 57:47Speaker 1: and she says at the top, I don't think he's
- 57:49Speaker 1: ever cheated on me. We live together. I got all
- 57:53Speaker 1: his passwords to his phone, social media accounts. I got
- 57:56Speaker 1: his checking account. He's got mine too, And but things
- 58:00Speaker 1: changed after COVID lockdown, loosing up, and now he's trying
- 58:03Speaker 1: to hang out more than usual. All that is is
- 58:06Speaker 1: over celebrate. You know, we've been locked up so long.
- 58:10Speaker 1: We just over celebrate. Just you know, it's just you know,
- 58:13Speaker 1: you know, as a little kid finally get to go outside,
- 58:16Speaker 1: he gonna stay out past the street lights. Now you know,
- 58:19Speaker 1: it's just one of them things, right here we go.
- 58:23Speaker 1: So he went out with his friends. He called me
- 58:26Speaker 1: and said he got too intoxicated to drive home. He's
- 58:29Speaker 1: gonna spend the night at the co worker's house. I
- 58:32Speaker 1: was glad he was safe and I didn't suspect anything. Okay,
- 58:38Speaker 1: so far, we're working it. The next morning I called
- 58:41Speaker 1: back to check on him. His phone went straight to voicemail.
- 58:45Speaker 1: This is where he's stupid. See here, in his twenties,
- 58:50Speaker 1: he's stupid. It went straight to voicemail. When he finally
- 58:55Speaker 1: got home around noon, Why is your ass out to noon? Boy?
- 59:02Speaker 1: You had to overnight stay you was in. She was glad,
- 59:08Speaker 1: happy for you that you were safe. You'dn't stretched it
- 59:11Speaker 1: out to noon. Take your ass home early in the morning.
- 59:18Speaker 1: You too much, You'd have took it too damn fall
- 59:24Speaker 1: noon should have been home at seven? What is you
- 59:30Speaker 1: laying up that fall? Anyway? As we lay he forgot
- 59:37Speaker 1: aboube the prize we had to pay? Take your ass home.
- 59:43Speaker 1: You should have never been in there past seven am
- 59:46Speaker 1: and answer your damn phone. But I'm gonna tell you
- 59:49Speaker 1: what happened. And I got the rest everyone we come back.
- 59:52Speaker 1: This didn't even have to happen. This is a damn
- 59:56Speaker 1: shame U. It's okay that he stayed out. Okay, Oh,
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: I'm even more mad at him. What are you for waiting?
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: I'll tell you this him? All right? All right, we'll
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: let for two of Steve's response coming up at twenty
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: three minutes after be our subject of today's strawberry letter.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: He came home the next day with a clean shirt on.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve, let's
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: recap today's strawberry letter. He came home the next day
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: with a clean shirt on what this food? Been engaged
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: to this woman? She twenty nine, dating five years. She
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: never thought he would cheat on it, never had any idea.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: They got passwords and phone, social media account, all the
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: check in count information. After COVID was over, he loosened up.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: He started hanging out a little bit more over, celebrating
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: anyone I wanted, his friends, and he called me. He
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: said he got too intoxicated to drive home. He said
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: he was gonna spend the night at the co worker's house. Now,
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: the girl said, I was glad he was safe, and
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: I didn't suspect anything. Damn dog, you there, you got
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: the free night out. She don't suspect nothing. You intoxicated.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: You're gonna spend the night. That's all you needed to do.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: Spend the night. The moment the sun come up, you
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: spent the night. It's over. Take your ass home. But
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: oh no, this young ass food. He don't answer his voicemail.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: And when he finally got home around noon, I be
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: you doesn't took it too far. Wise, you all up
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: having breakfast and going to brunch with a fall fool
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: spent the night. He came home around noon. I was hot.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: He came in and tried to kiss me, and all
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: I could smell was laundry detergent and fabric softed that
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: this is a good part of the letter, y'all. The
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: first thing I asked was if he got sick and
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: threw up on himself. He was all defensive and said,
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: know why. I asked him that, are you crazy? She
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: gave you the out. What that's better than the lie
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: you told about being drunk? She said, did you throw
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: up on yourself and have to wash an iron your shirt? Wow?
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: How did you know that? Because the smell that laundry detergent.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: Damn baby, I didn't want to come home with all
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: that vomit on this shirt. Wow. Man, you so perceptive.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: Thank you for carring you was out? How boy, she
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: had wrote the life for you. Your dumb mass stared
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: the gift horse in the mouth, and your dumbas's got
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: defensive and said, no, why would I ask him that?
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: I told him I could tear his shirt had been
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: washed in iron. That's because it was boy. You couldn't
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: come home with that shirt smelling like that. You don't
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: know none of the tricks. I've thrown a shirt away back.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: I'm talking about just it. I came home with no shirt.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: What we're nothing to do is try to explain this shirt. Now.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: I was pulled back then, so you know I had
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: a twenty five dollars pr cardeen shirt and I came
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: in the house, old my girl, and she said, where's
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: your shirt? I said, I got in a fight and
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: it got toe off. She said, you just like your daddy.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: I said, you damn right, because she's sitting around with
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: my mother, and my mother used to tell her that
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: my father used to go down on Saturday night, get
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: in fight, tear his shirt, come home and change shirts,
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: and go back and fight again. My dad used to
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: fight for money. So I just that was always in
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: my heart. So I came home with no shirt. He
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: looked like a fool and tried to say I was crazy.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: He got on the couch and immediately fell asleep. Oh,
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: he wasn't asleep at noon. If he fell asleep at noon,
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: that's even more evidence than he'd been up all night
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: just performing. Yes, I came home doing yard working everything.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: Stupid ass boy. I looked through his cell phone and
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: he had deleted all his text message and he deleted
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: his call log. Okay, excellent. So now we don't have
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: a shirt with evidence, we don't have a call log
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: with evidence. All the evidence is gone. We have a
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: woman who says you've never cheated on her in five years.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: So where we at boy, all you had to do
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: was take the I threw up you right, I washed
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: it and eyed it you right now, she ain't speaking
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: to him. I want to squash this situation, but there's
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: no need to nag him over and over for answers.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: I know he's up to something. Well, you said for
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: five years you never suspected anything. So how do I
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: handle this maturely without trying to break his neck? What
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: are you gonna break his neck? For? All the evidence
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: has been washed away, is somewhere down somebody laundry man. Okay,
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: but you got no evidence. So now all you can
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: do is put this in your memory, break and be
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: watchful because if he's that's stupid. He feel to make
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: stupid mistakes again because he dumb. He just dumb as
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: a damned dope, knocking steed stupid ass. You must have
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: vomited on this shirt and washed it and eyed it.
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: How did you know? Oh my god, oh my god,
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: that was way better than what I was going to say.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: He's not a player that he thinks he is. My partner. God,
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: Cutton was bleeding on me and then I watched it.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: This is Heather, all right, listen, listen, hit us up
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: on Instagram Steve Harvey FM with your thoughts on today's

- 1:06:23Speaker 1: coming up next. CBS has launched an internal investigation over
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: the heated discussion between Sharon Osborne and our girl Cheryl Underwood.
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening to
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. CBS is The Talk. Co
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: host Sharon Osborne has faced a lot of backlash after
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: she publicly showed support for Pierce Morgan. We talked about
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: this last week when it happened. Pierce harshly remember criticized
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: making morgal marcle right after the Oprah interview. On last
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: Wednesday's episode of The Talk, Sharon Osborne got into a
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: heated discussion over racism with Cheryl Underwood, her co host,
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: and a clip of her raising her voice at Cheryl
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: went viral. On Friday, CBS issued a statement saying we
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: are committed to a diverse, inclusive, and respectful workplace. All
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: matters related to the Wednesday episode of The Talk are
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: currently under internal review. Then switched to Friday, Sharon released
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: an apology uh saying she was truly sorry she panicked
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: she felt blindsided, She got defensive and allowed her fear
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: and horror of being accused of being a racist racist takeover. Well,
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: since then, the no, she's apologizing because of the backlash
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: on social media. This is true. I believe that, Steve.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: I believe that all my fear. That's that's what the
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: police say. I feared for my life. It was my fear. See,
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: that's that's stay go to Lade too. Yeah, I was afraid,
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: yea of what of what? First of all this, sugar honey,
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: I ain't even bout you right this about proast Pierce Marga,
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: What is you in it? Fault? Give a damn who
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: it is? Who is about podcast Pierce Margaret? Who quit?
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: Which further proves what you just said? Who got up
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: and quit? Y'all? Y'all got to stop this here, man.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: We're never gonna cure racism unless you all start understanding
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: what racism really is. You don't have to say the
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: end word to be racist, No, you can do it
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: is damn man. You think if you don't hate black people,
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: that ain't what racism is. Systemic racism is stuff that's
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: in place. Yes, Sherl doesn't have the right to be
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: hurt for Megan Marco. You should you then don't try
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: to cry. I should be the one for what? So heartless?
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: When did your ass become the victim? What? Educate me?
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: Educate me? That's what she was trying to do. My
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: thing is, if you ain't educated about racism by nine,
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: you damn near eighty. You ain't you missed that class,
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: You really missed it. Listen. I gotta say that. I
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: gotta say that. The show has announced that they will

- 1:10:14Speaker 1: when your car is not ready. Okay, here's another one.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: Unnecessary things people will do with their stimulus checks. And then, uh,
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: stuff that Stacy Dash has to do to get her
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: black card back. Okay, because she lost it, but she
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: went over to the other side. All right, it's been
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: the wheels. Oh it's stuff done. Stuff that Stacy Dash
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: has to do to get her black card back. Let's go. Okay,
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: all right, comedy Roulette. What things that Stacy Dash needs
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: to do to get her black card back? You need
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: to clean a big tub of kitlands with no gloves,

- 1:12:33Speaker 1: them out. Stacy Dash to get her black card back,
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: she want to start running numbers for all of us,
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: start going hood by hood. Get these numbers and remember
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: every last one. Don't play yes a thing Stacy Dass
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: gotta do to get her black card back. All right,

- 1:13:09Speaker 1: Tom that little thing on the drumstick, she gotta pick
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: her teeth with that, that little Tommy. When you're on
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: the same page, Stacy Dash has to do a YouTube
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: tutorial on how to fry chicken. I would tune into that.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: I got one that Steve, you got one. Here we
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: go what you need to do to get your black

- 1:16:18Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harby morning showing up a thirty
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: three minutes after right after this, you're listening show. Well,
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: I'm sure you guys have heard this story or heard
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: about this story by now. Kirk Franklin's oldest son, carry
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: On Franklin, is thirty three. He released to audio and
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: audio of a phone conversation with Kirk that went left
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: I mean crazy, real fast, real quick, and Kirk can
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: be heard yelling and cursing at his son. Kirk used
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: the words be, he used ass and a few f
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: bombs were thrown in there before his son hung up.
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: Now the video has gone viral on social media, Kirk
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: issued an explanation. He issued an apology. Kirk admitted to
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: having a toxic, very tense relationship with his son and
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: stated they've been to counseling for years and this private
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: family matter was supposed to be between them. He added
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: in the recording, the part where he called a family
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: therapist to intervene was omitted from the audio. Kirk asked
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: for compassion and prayers from his fans. Parenting is hard,
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: but I mean, Steve, I'm gonna put it like this.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: Didn't you say you were a guest on Kirk's show
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: last week? I was a guest on his podcast last
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: week and one of the questions asked me, Kirk asked
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: me and joking was uncle, I know you cussed. Do
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: you have a goal to cuss word? And I said yeah,
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: I do. He said, well, what is it? I said,
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: the start with the M and then he said, well,
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: on this podcast you can say it. So I okay, cool,
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: So I said it, and he said, why is that
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: your goal to word? I said, because it's a warning,
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: it's a term of endearment, it's an enlightening term. It's
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: it can use and when I'm being jovial, it could
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: be used referring to an enemy or a friend. It's
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: just one of the most versatile words that I found.
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: And you know, we joked about it, and so this
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: thing came out. Now here's what I don't like. I
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: do not like the quote unquote Christian community attacking Kurt
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: for his language. First of all, he's a man. Tommy
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: has a son. I have sons. Tommy got sons, I
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: got sons. Jake got sons. None of all of us
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: have had this conversation with our boys, every last one
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: of us. But I don't like the Christian community jumping
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: on Kirk. You should have never used that type of
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: language to your son. He don't deserve that. Woa woa
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: oh he had. Y'all have no idea deal When you
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: try to provide a life for a child and they
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: have this sense of entitlement and nothing you do is enough.
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: Come on, you can't fix it. You should have did this,
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: and they old enough to make choices. And when they
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: make a bad choice and get in a bad position,
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: nice your fault. What bothers me is for a son
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: who record this and put this out there on his
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: father to try and destroy his father. That's what bothers
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: me more than anything. Coming up, it is our last
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: break of the day. That's it, Okay, and Steve Harvey,
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: you'll have some closing remarks for us coming up forty
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: nine minutes after right after this, you threw me again, Jay,
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: you're listening to show all right, here we are, guys,
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: last break of the day. The week started off right
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: on the right foot and everything. Yes, it's mounted, it's monte,
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: and let's make this up. Let's let's say this one
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: more time. We're riding with kurk Franklin. We ride Kurt Franklin.
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: That's what my closing remarks is about today, because you know,
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: first of all, I talked to Kurt and I called
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: him because of the times that I've been up against
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: it or getting torn apart by the media or whatever,
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: Kirk Franklin has always been there for me. So I
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: called him and I told Kirk Kirk, say uncle, I'm
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: having a tough day to day and I just called
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: him to lift him up, to tell him, no, man,
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: get your head about the dirt, because you didn't do
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: nothing wrong. It's just amazing to me. The pain that
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: Kirk Franklin was in was for twofold first of all,
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: the betrayal of his son. That had to be devastated
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: that you would think so little of me, that you
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: would take me in one of my raw's moments and
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: try to destroy me by posting something that was purely
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: between me and you and his son. Knew exactly what
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: he was doing, That's why he posted it, but his
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: son only posted the part that he thought could hurt Kurt.
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: He didn't post a part of what he was asking
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: of Kurt. He didn't post a part of what led
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: up to Kurt's anger. He ain't posted none of the
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: years like Kirk was telling y'all about the therapy. But
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: I'm telling you for a fact, he didn't post and
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: tell you about none of the years that he's tried
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: to make Kirk feel guilty in that and drag him
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: through the mud and expect more. Because Kurt's new family
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: was getting this and he didn't feel like he getting
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: that when Kirk's new family was the fruits of his
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: labor over the years. Kirk didn't have it to give before.
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: But this young man, this boy is thirty three years old.
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: How you thirty three years old posting something your father
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: said that don't make no sense? That shows you the
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: lack of manhood that this young man has. So now,
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: the other reason, the second part of it that was
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: hurting Kirk so bad, was the church here. Y'all come here,
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: y'all come with y'all's righteousself. Y'all so righteous man, you
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: can't do nothing when you're a Christian. And like every
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: word out of Kirk's mouth got to have crosses on
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: it because here a gospel singer. Kirk was a man
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: before he was a gospel singer. Kirk was a sinner
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: before he got saved. Kirk is a sinner to day.
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: But then I got news church. So are you? Oh see,
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: y'all just got Kirk's cussing on tape. You're trying to
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: tell me Kirk the only saved person that cuss. Wait
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: a minute, nephew, Tommy has done a series of pranks
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: with church folks. How many times on the prank have
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: we heard some church folks cussing? Oh Lord, please don't
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: put this on the radio. How many times have you
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: heard past us that getting mad and use profanity? But
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: now Kirk use it now all of a sudden, y'all
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: already ride him to hell. Well, I don't think y'all
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: should do it that way, because y'all ain't better than Kurt.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: I ain't better than Kirk, and nobody's better than Kurt.
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: The next thing that y'all need to understand, every man
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: would have your own son. Practically all of us had
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: had this conversation with our sons. Oh we didn't had
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: to have some come to Jesus meetings with these boys,
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: because they reached a certain age where they started smelling
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: themselves and then all of a sudden they bucking the system. Well,
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: when you buck up against me, you running up into
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: manhood over hill. And now since you want to act
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: like you a thug and a gangster, the here with
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: the old wall, let me show you who the rich
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: who the real old g is hell and he got
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: a taste of it. Tommy has a son. Jay has
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: a son. Tommy got sons, Jay got son, I got sons.
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: They had all bid it. They then all felt the
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: raff and they had it coming, just like Kirk's boy
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: had it coming. So for those of you that don't
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: have sons, that don't know how I work, this hight
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: really go. Kirk been trying to raise that boy for
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: a long time. But nah man, he's so mad at
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: Kirk because he blamed and Kirk. So let me tell
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: you what happens, y'all for those of you that don't
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: have children, when you have children and they get to
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: a certain age, they have the power to make decisions.
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: And once your child can make their own decisions, then
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: they're gonna end up in some situations based on those
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: decisions that could have been avoided had they not made
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: those decisions. But it's a funny thing when your child,
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: because of a sense of entitlement, thinks that the situation
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: they in becomes your fault. When old, no, young man,
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: young lady, you made that decision, not based on nothing
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: I taught you, even though I forewarned you. You made
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: this decision anyway. So when you make them bed, you
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: got to lay in it. But don't make the bed.
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: And then because you don't like the way the bed lay,
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: you're mad at me because you're in the bed that's uncomfortable.
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: But it's because of a decision you made. Kirk's Franklin
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: so under made some decision. My son's made some decisions,
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: Tommy's son, Jay's son, Shirley's daughter, Carlin, got a daughter
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: that's gonna come of age that's gonna make a decision.
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: And all y'all passing judgment on Kirk's parenting skills. You
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: don't have no kids that to reach the age where
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: they can make a decision. Oh but that day coming
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: and you're not gonna believe the decisions that they're gonna make.
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: So y'all get off Kirk Franklin's back. You're making a mistake.
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: You come over here, you're gonna get cuss smooth out.
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: And I do a way better job than Kirk, way better.
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: I got some combinations for your ass. I wish ya would, Kurt,
