- 2:22Speaker 2: Got a radio show because God know better than you know. Yeah,
- 2:27Speaker 2: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Didn't see it coming,
- 2:30Speaker 2: but he did. I'm gonna share with you today a
- 2:34Speaker 2: principle of success.
- 2:37Speaker 7: You know, it's.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Important that we get our lives together. I mean it
- 2:42Speaker 2: really really is. You know, to hereafter is exactly what
- 2:45Speaker 2: it says is to hereafter, And hopefully for the majority
- 2:50Speaker 2: of us, that's quite a way He's off. So what
- 2:53Speaker 2: about how you living today?
- 2:56Speaker 7: How about now?
- 2:58Speaker 2: You know often talk to talk in the morning about
- 3:01Speaker 2: your relationship with God that can never change. That is
- 3:05Speaker 2: at the forefront and the best thought process that I
- 3:10Speaker 2: can give you. And I know who I'm talking to
- 3:13Speaker 2: on the radio. I'm talking to a lot of people, man,
- 3:17Speaker 2: who out there just not sure. And I'm talking to
- 3:19Speaker 2: a lot of people out there man that's trying to
- 3:22Speaker 2: pull it together. In other words, you know, I'm talking
- 3:26Speaker 2: to a lot of people like myself. There is a
- 3:30Speaker 2: principle of success that is out there that if more
- 3:32Speaker 2: people understood one of the base this is just one
- 3:35Speaker 2: of one of the basic principles of success, you would
- 3:38Speaker 2: have more success in your life. And that principle is this,
- 3:42Speaker 2: the more people you help become successful, the more successful
- 3:48Speaker 2: you become.
- 3:50Speaker 7: Well, the more.
- 3:51Speaker 2: People you help become successful, the more successful you become.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Because you are practicing helping your and as you do
- 3:59Speaker 2: unto others, then it's done unto you. You build relationships.
- 4:06Speaker 2: When you do that, people forget and success that has
- 4:10Speaker 2: to be relationships. There is no one person in this
- 4:14Speaker 2: world who is just successful all on their own. You
- 4:17Speaker 2: are successful, and successful people form relationships, and you've got
- 4:24Speaker 2: to really coddle these relationships. You've got to nurture these relationships.
- 4:29Speaker 2: They don't just happen. You don't just get cool with
- 4:33Speaker 2: people just cause you cool. No, you've got to do
- 4:36Speaker 2: some cool things to these people and for these people,
- 4:39Speaker 2: for these people to be cool with you when you
- 4:41Speaker 2: need some cool. I don't know if I'm explaining that right,
- 4:45Speaker 2: but that's the best way I can tell it to you.
- 4:46Speaker 2: I'm just regular, you know, I just speak like that.
- 4:50Speaker 2: This is an important principle to put into your life.
- 4:54Speaker 2: The more people you help become successful, the more successful
- 4:59Speaker 2: you become.
- 5:00Speaker 7: You can look. You have to say to people, hey,
- 5:03Speaker 7: look I've done that.
- 5:04Speaker 2: This is what you got to do. You got to
- 5:06Speaker 2: take some time out to share. You have to share information, experiences, thoughts.
- 5:12Speaker 2: You got to take a minute, man to uplift somebody,
- 5:16Speaker 2: give them some encouragement.
- 5:18Speaker 7: Hey man, you can do it. Don't give up. You
- 5:21Speaker 7: have no idea. You you you right now.
- 5:26Speaker 2: You have no idea how significant you are to someone else,
- 5:32Speaker 2: how your words of encouragement could be the difference maker.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Today I'm talking about it's a person looking at you
- 5:38Speaker 2: that you don't even really know you, or you don't
- 5:40Speaker 2: really know them, and you see them struggling with something.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Just say, hey, you know what, I've been watching you
- 5:45Speaker 2: from afar. You gonna be all right, man, I see
- 5:48Speaker 2: some menu. Keep doing the right thing, man, You're gonna
- 5:51Speaker 2: be alright. I had a meeting with a young man
- 5:54Speaker 2: for the first time, and this young man came into
- 5:58Speaker 2: my office and never met him. He has an internet service,
- 6:03Speaker 2: which anybody can teach me something about the internet, because
- 6:06Speaker 2: I know little too close to nothing.
- 6:09Speaker 7: He was twenty seven years.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Old, and he was amazingly bright at this and I guess,
- 6:16Speaker 2: you know, that's not that hard to impress me. But
- 6:21Speaker 2: the fluid speech pattern that he had about this very
- 6:25Speaker 2: very difficult subject. He was tossing around the terms I
- 6:28Speaker 2: had heard, but he was actually putting him in sentences
- 6:31Speaker 2: where it made since to me. It's very fluid, very
- 6:35Speaker 2: sure of himself. When he was talking about this little thing,
- 6:38Speaker 2: A young dude twenty seven years old. And when he
- 6:42Speaker 2: got through, the woman that had introduced me to him,
- 6:45Speaker 2: I was leaving my office and she was going to
- 6:47Speaker 2: escort him out, and I turned around and I said,
- 6:50Speaker 2: young man, I said, what size pants are you? And
- 6:54Speaker 2: I guessed it because I've been dressing for long. I've
- 6:58Speaker 2: been all them sizes. I said, you about a thirty ways?
- 7:01Speaker 2: He said, yes, Sir. I said, what side shoe you
- 7:03Speaker 2: waisted nine and a half? I said, what side shirt is?
- 7:06Speaker 2: At a medium? He said, I really like extra large.
- 7:10Speaker 2: I said, well that's too big for you. You just
- 7:12Speaker 2: want to look lousy and baggy. And so I was
- 7:16Speaker 2: talking to him. Man I said, Man, I'm gonna help
- 7:19Speaker 2: you out. I said, man, because let me tell you something.
- 7:21Speaker 2: You a sharp young dude. Man, you are raisor sharp.
- 7:25Speaker 2: I said, You've really really impressed me today. I said,
- 7:29Speaker 2: And you know what, young brother, I said, You're gonna
- 7:31Speaker 2: make a lot of money one day. Man, I said,
- 7:33Speaker 2: but I want you to get your image up.
- 7:36Speaker 7: I want you to.
- 7:36Speaker 2: I want you to look at how you dress because
- 7:38Speaker 2: you're coming into professional people's office and you're talking about
- 7:42Speaker 2: doing something for them, and it takes money to make
- 7:45Speaker 2: it happen. I got to give you money to make
- 7:46Speaker 2: this happen. What you cannot afford to do is look
- 7:50Speaker 2: like you need every dime of this money. See you
- 7:53Speaker 2: get when you go in there and you talking about
- 7:56Speaker 2: money with another person, the person that's gonna give you
- 7:59Speaker 2: this money. Can you can't look like you need every
- 8:01Speaker 2: dime of this money, you know, so you gotta start
- 8:04Speaker 2: presenting yourself. And that's all I just said to him.
- 8:07Speaker 2: I just said, man, but you know what you shop,
- 8:09Speaker 2: You're gonna make yourself some money. I'm gonna help you
- 8:12Speaker 2: out a little bit.
- 8:13Speaker 7: I walked out. I went on bout my business.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Later on that afternoon, I had a meeting with the
- 8:17Speaker 2: woman that bought him in and she said, mister Harvey,
- 8:19Speaker 2: you have no idea what you just did. He said,
- 8:22Speaker 2: his eyes just teared up when you walked out. He said, Wow, man,
- 8:26Speaker 2: that man don't even know me, and he just encouraged me.
- 8:30Speaker 2: He said, man, I always thought I might could make it,
- 8:32Speaker 2: but he said, I ain't. Never had nobody like him
- 8:35Speaker 2: tell me I could make it. And just hearing it
- 8:38Speaker 2: from him, man.
- 8:39Speaker 7: That's all right.
- 8:40Speaker 2: I'm gonna get my clothes together. But you know, I've
- 8:44Speaker 2: been homeless. And then he started telling the woman that
- 8:47Speaker 2: he had been homeless, and so you know, then she
- 8:50Speaker 2: telling me that now I'm fit to cry, because you know,
- 8:52Speaker 2: I've been in that hole before.
- 8:54Speaker 7: And I just and I'm just sharing that story with
- 8:56Speaker 7: y'all just to say, you don't know.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Who you talking to But what does it hurt if
- 9:02Speaker 2: you just extend your hand to a person and give
- 9:05Speaker 2: them a moment of encouragement.
- 9:08Speaker 7: See this young brother right here, he could come back one.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Day and be a major benefit to me because he
- 9:15Speaker 2: has a skill set that I don't have.
- 9:18Speaker 7: Oh.
- 9:18Speaker 2: I might be old, mister Steve Harvey, but hey, guess what,
- 9:21Speaker 2: I don't know nothing about what this young cat know.
- 9:24Speaker 2: And he'dne went off and educated himself. And just a
- 9:27Speaker 2: word of encouragement from somebody like yourself can make all
- 9:32Speaker 2: the difference in another person's life. So remember on your
- 9:36Speaker 2: way to the top. The more people that you help
- 9:40Speaker 2: become successful, the more successful you become. It's a requirement
- 9:45Speaker 2: of God that you do that. That ain't Steve Harvey talking.
- 9:48Speaker 2: If you read your Bible. Somebody got a Bible verse
- 9:51Speaker 2: that back me up? Email it to me today if
- 9:53Speaker 2: you know what it is. I don't know, but y'all
- 9:55Speaker 2: do out there?
- 9:56Speaker 1: All right, you're listening Morning show.
- 10:02Speaker 7: Everybody look good here. I got it. What you're talking about.
- 10:07Speaker 7: I got it. Gratitude, attitude, got it, Come time? I
- 10:16Speaker 7: got it. What you mean you got it? Talking about that? Gratitude?
- 10:24Speaker 7: I got it?
- 10:26Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 10:27Speaker 2: Hey, oh, this is the Steve Harvey Morning Don't ask me,
- 10:37Speaker 2: don't don't make no references to it. You triping all that?
- 10:42Speaker 2: Yeah whatever? You know why I did that because this
- 10:45Speaker 2: is the Steve Harvey Morning Show. If it was your show,
- 10:48Speaker 2: you might not do that. You know, I understand, I
- 10:54Speaker 2: really do, and do I have an explanation for it. Absolutely? Now,
- 11:01Speaker 2: can I make an honest confession. I have no idea
- 11:06Speaker 2: where that comes from.
- 11:09Speaker 7: It just came to me. I did it. Ladies and gentlemen.
- 11:13Speaker 2: This it's the Steve Harvey Morning Show, period, make no
- 11:17Speaker 2: mistake about it.
- 11:18Speaker 7: Only one of these.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Charlie Strawberry calling for real, my father South Junior and
- 11:24Speaker 2: the legend that is nephew tom Well Junior.
- 11:27Speaker 7: What's on your mind?
- 11:28Speaker 9: Yeah, let me ask you this, man, because this is
- 11:32Speaker 9: something that I've been thinking about. And man, it's not
- 11:35Speaker 9: what blessings I have, but some of the blessings God
- 11:37Speaker 9: don't give you. Have you experienced that in your life
- 11:40Speaker 9: on some of the stuff that you some of the
- 11:42Speaker 9: blessings you don't have?
- 11:44Speaker 7: No next question, you know, I think about all the
- 11:48Speaker 7: blessings God don't give me what. Well, I'm just saying
- 11:52Speaker 7: sometuff ain't that it may not be good for you,
- 11:55Speaker 7: But then it ain't a blessing, is it?
- 11:57Speaker 2: Oh?
- 11:58Speaker 7: Oh wow? Now you know.
- 12:03Speaker 2: If it's not to be blessed by something, it's to
- 12:06Speaker 2: be a dawn or given grace about something. To be
- 12:10Speaker 2: blessed by something is to be granted something you know, well,
- 12:15Speaker 2: you know. But see, that's what's wrong. A lot of times,
- 12:17Speaker 2: there are a lot of people who are so focused
- 12:20Speaker 2: on blaming God for what they don't have when they
- 12:24Speaker 2: don't even know the truth, understanding and depth of what
- 12:28Speaker 2: it would mean to even have what they want. Example,
- 12:32Speaker 2: I'll give you an example, and what better example than
- 12:35Speaker 2: used in me. When I was in my twenties, I
- 12:38Speaker 2: was praying to God for a certain amount of money.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Now guess what, had he given me that money in
- 12:46Speaker 2: my twenties, I would have blown every single dollar of
- 12:51Speaker 2: that money.
- 12:53Speaker 7: Broh, I would have ruined it. He knew that, so
- 12:58Speaker 7: he didn't give it to me.
- 13:00Speaker 2: I got a certain little anger level because I can't
- 13:03Speaker 2: believe God ain't giving me what I'm asking for. But
- 13:07Speaker 2: He knew that that you're asking for at this particular time,
- 13:11Speaker 2: you're not ready to receive. I had to learn that
- 13:15Speaker 2: over the years when he did give it to me,
- 13:18Speaker 2: I took such good care of it because I had
- 13:21Speaker 2: lost everything before. Kate can't be mad about the blessing
- 13:25Speaker 2: God I ain't gave you, because if he'd gave it
- 13:27Speaker 2: to you, wouldn't have been a blessing.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Amen to that. Coming up at thirty two minutes after
- 13:32Speaker 1: the hour, we're here from a nephew, I gotta.
- 13:35Speaker 7: A radio I gotta started listening. Yeah, you need a
- 13:38Speaker 7: radio show. A radio day. You're gonna get you on.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Right after this. You're listening morning show. All right, guys,
- 13:49Speaker 1: it is time to run that BRNK back with the nephew. Nephew,
- 13:52Speaker 1: what do you have for us today?
- 13:53Speaker 2: Darling?
- 13:54Speaker 7: Want me running back?
- 13:55Speaker 8: Yes, running back and running for running back, running outside,
- 13:59Speaker 8: running back like James Brown running back, run for. I
- 14:02Speaker 8: think I'm about ready to do my Yeah, it's time
- 14:05Speaker 8: to put the frank in here. It is run that
- 14:06Speaker 8: frank back. This is bad pot luck, bad boy, hoot loucky.
- 14:13Speaker 8: You've had it before, you've tasted it.
- 14:15Speaker 7: You know what it is.
- 14:16Speaker 8: You've thrown that plate in the trash, you carried it out,
- 14:20Speaker 8: waited until they went to the kitchen and slid it
- 14:22Speaker 8: to the dog.
- 14:23Speaker 7: You did it. You did the dog like that, you
- 14:25Speaker 7: did cat dog. Let's if you would. This is bad
- 14:29Speaker 7: pot luck.
- 14:31Speaker 3: Hello, hello, I'm trying to frying heather.
- 14:35Speaker 10: Excuse me what you say?
- 14:36Speaker 3: I'm trying to reach a heap.
- 14:39Speaker 10: How are you?
- 14:40Speaker 3: Okay? Okay, listen, I got your lumber from from lowers.
- 14:45Speaker 3: Look that's my mama. I'm my reach. I'm lowest oldest son.
- 14:50Speaker 10: Now wait wait, excuse me? Lowis who's lowiss?
- 14:54Speaker 3: Yes?
- 14:55Speaker 10: Yes, yes, hi? What are you?
- 14:57Speaker 3: I'm good? You you you you were uh at Mama
- 15:00Speaker 3: Dean's house on New Year's Day?
- 15:04Speaker 10: Yes, yes, everybody was there.
- 15:06Speaker 3: Okay when I got When I got there, you was gone.
- 15:09Speaker 3: But what I'm what I'm calling about is you the
- 15:11Speaker 3: one made the black eyed peas? Right I did? You
- 15:15Speaker 3: enjoyed them? No, enjoy the mother thing. That's why I'm calling.
- 15:21Speaker 3: Let me say this here, let me say this.
- 15:22Speaker 11: No, no, no, no, come at work.
- 15:24Speaker 10: You can't talk to me like this.
- 15:25Speaker 3: Don't do that.
- 15:26Speaker 7: Don't do that.
- 15:26Speaker 10: Say whatever you got to say, but please don't curse
- 15:28Speaker 10: that me.
- 15:29Speaker 3: Don't no, no, he go to deal your mother things.
- 15:33Speaker 3: Got my god checked up and I didn't have to
- 15:36Speaker 3: go down to the doctor to get my stomach pumped.
- 15:38Speaker 3: I ain't got no damn insurance for none this. You
- 15:41Speaker 3: know this, this, this didn't have me messed up for
- 15:43Speaker 3: the last week. Number for the loanss to tell you
- 15:48Speaker 3: exactly you know how your damn thieves is okay?
- 15:52Speaker 10: First of all, okay, I told you ask. I'm at work,
- 15:56Speaker 10: I'm around all these white people. I can't talk to
- 15:58Speaker 10: you the way I want to talk to you. But
- 16:01Speaker 10: let me just tell you this. Don't call me with
- 16:03Speaker 10: the dump. First of all, there was a whole bunch
- 16:05Speaker 10: of food there. How do you know how can you
- 16:07Speaker 10: single out my damn beans that made you sit with
- 16:10Speaker 10: all that got food there? You're not gonna blame me.
- 16:12Speaker 3: You get this out of here, Mama Mama Bean says
- 16:15Speaker 3: you were the one that made the place.
- 16:16Speaker 6: I don't give us.
- 16:17Speaker 10: Mama Bean said it was all this food there, and
- 16:20Speaker 10: you're gonna single out my beans. Nobody else complained, you
- 16:23Speaker 10: know what the day's date is okay, And not one
- 16:26Speaker 10: other person called me about them beans, and by the
- 16:29Speaker 10: as a matter of fact, other people were complimenting me.
- 16:32Speaker 10: So for you to call me with the dump all
- 16:34Speaker 10: late and wrong, going to blame me probably because you
- 16:37Speaker 10: need a doctor's appointment. You should have got Obamacare when
- 16:39Speaker 10: it was available to you. And now you want to
- 16:41Speaker 10: call me with no no no, no, no no no,
- 16:43Speaker 10: so you could tell what.
- 16:47Speaker 3: Somebody you're trying to blame somebody else's food, Joe beans,
- 16:52Speaker 3: my stomach up, and that's what That's what it falls
- 16:54Speaker 3: down to. And at the end of the day, you're prinitive.
- 16:56Speaker 10: Miss You know the hell, I at what doctor bill?
- 17:01Speaker 10: You said you don't having short, So how does the
- 17:03Speaker 10: hell did you go to swallowing short?
- 17:05Speaker 3: I had to play out my pocket to get my
- 17:08Speaker 3: stomach pumped.
- 17:09Speaker 10: Okay, well taken care of. If you paid out your pocket,
- 17:12Speaker 10: that means the bills pay so.
- 17:13Speaker 3: You can get you gonna reimburse me.
- 17:16Speaker 10: No, I'm not going to reimburse you with okay. In fact,
- 17:19Speaker 10: I got more beans for you since you got a
- 17:21Speaker 10: problem with them. I got a whole bowl for you. Okay,
- 17:24Speaker 10: how about because you fullished? So if it made you,
- 17:27Speaker 10: that's good for you.
- 17:28Speaker 3: Hey, look, look, I'm gonna tell you this here right now.
- 17:31Speaker 3: The bill was four hundred and seventy two dollars. I
- 17:34Speaker 3: need four four hundred and seventy two dollars for your
- 17:37Speaker 3: bulley things.
- 17:39Speaker 10: No, no, no, no, you're not getting no money from me.
- 17:42Speaker 10: And I need to go because I got work to do.
- 17:44Speaker 3: I don't know what you got to do.
- 17:45Speaker 10: Spend it all this time on the phone talk about
- 17:47Speaker 10: some beans with all that food. So the rice didn't
- 17:49Speaker 10: do it, the meat didn't do it. They had some
- 17:52Speaker 10: other gravy. Gravy always people up that didn't do it.
- 17:55Speaker 10: You want to single out my beans got of here?
- 17:58Speaker 10: Don't be calling me with this dumb you know what?
- 18:00Speaker 10: Now tell me who gave me your number? Because I
- 18:02Speaker 10: don't even know you. I do know your mom.
- 18:05Speaker 3: Mama Bean gave me your number.
- 18:07Speaker 10: I call Mama Deane passing out numbers. Well, I'm gonna
- 18:11Speaker 10: call Mama Dean, and I'm gonna see if anybody else
- 18:13Speaker 10: got sick, which I know they didn't because your ass
- 18:16Speaker 10: is full of so I'm gonna call her see if
- 18:18Speaker 10: anybody got sick. How about we do it that way.
- 18:20Speaker 10: And also I'm gonna call your mother. Okay, I'm gonna
- 18:23Speaker 10: call miss Lewis and see why her dad son is
- 18:26Speaker 10: calling me on the phone. Because this is something both

- 18:50Speaker 10: tom I barely know your mom.
- 18:52Speaker 3: I just know her by face.
- 18:53Speaker 10: I don't even know her know her. So Tommy, Hugh,

- 19:05Speaker 10: I just told you I don't know anybody named Tommy.
- 19:09Speaker 10: So you can tell him whatever you want to tell him.
- 19:11Speaker 10: And if you want to gain other people who want
- 19:14Speaker 10: to jump away your side, it's not gonna happen because
- 19:16Speaker 10: nobody complained about the beam. Give me give me nother names,
- 19:19Speaker 10: because Tommy wasn't there. I know just about everybody that
- 19:22Speaker 10: was there was nobody named Tommy there.
- 19:24Speaker 3: Okay, Okay, so you're gonna say, Nephew, tell me, nephew,
- 19:28Speaker 3: Tommy wasn't. Now what nephew tell me? This is Nephew
- 19:33Speaker 3: from The Steve Harvey Morning Show with Heather.
- 19:36Speaker 7: You just.
- 19:40Speaker 10: Are you crazy? Your cousin?
- 19:45Speaker 3: You got me to pray, Paul.
- 19:46Speaker 10: Call what people walking by me looking at me cause

- 19:53Speaker 3: Are you.
- 19:57Speaker 11: A good.
- 20:01Speaker 3: Oh man? You got me, You got me wanting to
- 20:03Speaker 3: taste your black eyed ta okay.
- 20:05Speaker 10: Oh good, nobody could come. I'm sitting here like I'm
- 20:08Speaker 10: not want to get these people. Frack you weren't gonna
- 20:11Speaker 10: get no money.
- 20:13Speaker 3: Show? Tell me this. What is the baddest, the baddest
- 20:17Speaker 3: radio show in the land.
- 20:19Speaker 10: Oh but you know it, but you know it's Steve
- 20:21Speaker 10: Harvey Morning Show?
- 20:23Speaker 11: Oh my god?
- 20:26Speaker 3: Oh keep cooking.
- 20:28Speaker 10: You are all right?
- 20:30Speaker 1: Thank you?
- 20:31Speaker 3: New Year? All right, New Year, and next year I'll
- 20:35Speaker 3: probably pop up at Mamma Deen house here.
- 20:38Speaker 10: You are welcome.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Acome white too much?
- 20:44Speaker 7: You hate it? Hate it?
- 20:47Speaker 1: Coming up next, ask the c l O with the
- 20:49Speaker 1: Chief Love Officers. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys,
- 20:55Speaker 1: time now to ask the c l O. This one
- 20:57Speaker 1: is from Lucretia in Birmingham, Cresta Rights. I'm a twenty
- 21:01Speaker 1: eight year old engaged woman and my fiance cheated on
- 21:05Speaker 1: me several times before we got engaged. I got tired
- 21:09Speaker 1: of him cheating on me, and I started cheating back,
- 21:12Speaker 1: but it's with someone that's close to him. Before we
- 21:15Speaker 1: get married, I think I need to come clean about
- 21:18Speaker 1: who I messed with. I kind of want him to
- 21:21Speaker 1: be hurt like he hurt me. If I tell him,
- 21:25Speaker 1: he may call our wedding off. Should I get revenge
- 21:28Speaker 1: and tell him or take the secret to my grave?
- 21:32Speaker 2: I don't think. I don't think y'all need to get married.
- 21:36Speaker 2: I really don't, because what's y'all's ambition? You want to
- 21:40Speaker 2: hurt him? Yeah, so you can tell it, but then
- 21:42Speaker 2: you don't want him to call off the marriage. So
- 21:45Speaker 2: you want to be married for what?
- 21:47Speaker 1: J just wants a wedding? You know?
- 21:50Speaker 3: Do that?
- 21:50Speaker 7: Ain't y'all? This is doomed?
- 21:53Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, before you start, this is.
- 21:56Speaker 2: Y'all operating on no trust. Y'all ain't trying to do
- 22:00Speaker 2: better by each other. Y'all ain't trying to get right.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Y'all ain't trying to safeguard each other's feelings. Right now
- 22:06Speaker 2: you want to staying hire? Oh the what makes you
- 22:09Speaker 2: think you need to open up about this? So my
- 22:14Speaker 2: suggestion after listening to this is y'all don't need to be.
- 22:17Speaker 7: Married at all. You really don't. Y'all need to go
- 22:21Speaker 7: to something else? Yeah, whyn't y'all go to camp? They
- 22:24Speaker 7: doing something else? The something Yeah? Yeah, y'all you got
- 22:29Speaker 7: back at him, y'all, y'all ain't trying to do right.
- 22:32Speaker 1: Yeah, he cheated and cheated, then they got engaged. Then
- 22:35Speaker 1: she cheated on him.
- 22:37Speaker 7: Two rooms don't make a.
- 22:38Speaker 1: Run, exactly, exactly, all right? Moving on, Colby and Michigan says,
- 22:43Speaker 1: I'm a thirty seven year old professional man, and I'm
- 22:46Speaker 1: in a social group that my parents belonged to for
- 22:49Speaker 1: many years. After my dad passed, rumors started swirling about
- 22:53Speaker 1: my mom having an affair with a wealthy member of
- 22:57Speaker 1: the group. Then I heard his wife is involved too,
- 23:01Speaker 1: like a three way love affair type of thing. My
- 23:04Speaker 1: mother has a brand new Mercedes SUV and I never
- 23:08Speaker 1: questioned it because she got a nice insurance settlement from
- 23:11Speaker 1: my dad's death. Rumors are that this guy bought it.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Do I confront my mom with these rumors?
- 23:18Speaker 7: What you're gonna confront your mom about?
- 23:21Speaker 3: What?
- 23:22Speaker 7: Why are you in the same social group your mom?
- 23:25Speaker 7: That's the first question.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean that part First of all, it's unimportant.
- 23:33Speaker 2: It's very very unimportant. And first of all, wherever you
- 23:37Speaker 2: heard is from, you have to whoever brings you this information.
- 23:41Speaker 2: You have to try to figure out what they motivation.
- 23:44Speaker 2: Why ain't nobody just inadvertently said this to you? Somebody
- 23:48Speaker 2: bought this to you. You ain't heard this. They knew
- 23:51Speaker 2: you was around, and they talked about it. So now, really, man,
- 23:57Speaker 2: and I don't know what social group you in at
- 23:59Speaker 2: your mom. I'm still trying to figure that one out. Man,
- 24:04Speaker 2: I didn't do I didn't do nothing with my mom.
- 24:09Speaker 2: What social group is men and women? Given you got
- 24:12Speaker 2: Eastern Stars and Masons?
- 24:13Speaker 7: But what social group is?
- 24:15Speaker 2: Yeah, but may not considered a social group. They they're
- 24:20Speaker 2: on a whole other level than that. So I don't
- 24:23Speaker 2: know what social group he talking about. I don't get
- 24:27Speaker 2: that man, social group.
- 24:29Speaker 1: So he shouldn't confront social club like New Orleans and
- 24:36Speaker 1: social clubs.
- 24:37Speaker 7: Oh yeah, see, I've never heard maybe I'm thinking I'm
- 24:40Speaker 7: not sure that that could be true. We never had that.
- 24:46Speaker 7: They be some old lass jack and jail? Can they
- 24:48Speaker 7: be old?
- 24:54Speaker 2: What if you find out what what you're gonna confront for?
- 24:59Speaker 2: Why lead that alone? Man, first of all, ah obusiness.
- 25:03Speaker 2: And secondly, I ain't got nothing to.
- 25:05Speaker 3: Do with you.
- 25:07Speaker 1: Nothing, all right.
- 25:09Speaker 7: You already lost your father. Man, don't get stupid.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Enough, all right? Moving on, So Chutta and Tampa says,
- 25:16Speaker 1: I'm a thirty nine year old single woman and I'm
- 25:18Speaker 1: with a man that I love, but little things about
- 25:21Speaker 1: him annoying me. He's a thin man and he wears
- 25:25Speaker 1: big clothes to camouflage how small he is, but it
- 25:29Speaker 1: makes him look worse. His hair is thinning at the
- 25:33Speaker 1: top and he won't cut it so you can see
- 25:35Speaker 1: right through his little afro. The most annoying thing is
- 25:40Speaker 1: that he uses the bathroom immediately after we eat, and
- 25:45Speaker 1: he's left me at the table for his longest thirty
- 25:47Speaker 1: minutes before in a restaurant. He's forty eight. So do
- 25:52Speaker 1: you think I can get him to change now?
- 25:55Speaker 7: First of all, just start this bathroom.
- 25:57Speaker 2: He regularly, he worked, and he and he emergency regular Yeah,
- 26:05Speaker 2: you know I'm gonna make it to the house. No,
- 26:08Speaker 2: i'm e I'm at a public run. You got to
- 26:10Speaker 2: get a little bit better grip on yourself now, these
- 26:12Speaker 2: big ass clothes and his little ass body. I don't
- 26:15Speaker 2: know what to tell you couldn't buy him the right
- 26:18Speaker 2: side clothes. Now he gonna have to get a hair cut.
- 26:24Speaker 2: So it was because you said you can see right
- 26:26Speaker 2: through his little afro. Now everything about this man little
- 26:30Speaker 2: I think he didnet got on your nerves.
- 26:32Speaker 3: Just what I like.
- 26:35Speaker 1: She said, she's with the man that she loves.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Yeah, you can love love now, but but based on
- 26:42Speaker 2: this letter, just this fit the wear off because you
- 26:46Speaker 2: you finding there's too much stuff you don't like.
- 26:48Speaker 7: He go too damn much.
- 26:51Speaker 2: He got these big ass clothes, or he lived, and
- 26:53Speaker 2: he got little afro in this in and at the
- 26:56Speaker 2: top you looking down on the top, us.
- 27:00Speaker 7: beIN do this miser, he's fred to desert. God, I'll
- 27:06Speaker 7: be right back all right.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Moving on Turquoise and iHeartRadio. App listener says, I'm thirty
- 27:15Speaker 1: four and my boyfriend is thirty two. He scrolls on
- 27:18Speaker 1: Instagram all day long, and he posts a lot of
- 27:20Speaker 1: pictures of himself. I post pictures too, but he never
- 27:23Speaker 1: seems to notice mine. He likes other women's popes and
- 27:28Speaker 1: will put the fire emoji under a picture if he
- 27:31Speaker 1: really likes it. I have told him that it's disrespectful,
- 27:34Speaker 1: but he doesn't understand. I know it's petty to break
- 27:37Speaker 1: up over this. So what can I do to get
- 27:39Speaker 1: through to him?
- 27:41Speaker 5: Well?
- 27:41Speaker 2: How would he like it if you put the fire
- 27:43Speaker 2: mojiic under men's pictures? Sometimes you got to let a
- 27:48Speaker 2: person put the shoe on the of the foot, and
- 27:50Speaker 2: you got to help. Sometimes you have to slip it
- 27:52Speaker 2: on that phone. See how he liked that. If you
- 27:55Speaker 2: don't want to break up over it, then just let
- 27:57Speaker 2: him see how it feels and then maybe he'll stop.
- 28:00Speaker 7: If not, after that, they I don't know what to
- 28:02Speaker 7: tell you.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Thank you, c l O. You're listening Morning show? All right,
- 28:10Speaker 1: it is time for something funny. Now our ceo, our
- 28:14Speaker 1: beloved one, has a daytime story about the morning crew.
- 28:18Speaker 1: But Jay, you want to explain it?
- 28:19Speaker 6: Pople, what are you gonna do is take candies, very
- 28:23Speaker 6: well known candies describing each person on the show, and
- 28:28Speaker 6: a bedtime story thing and the whole thing, yeah is
- 28:31Speaker 6: about candy.
- 28:33Speaker 2: Yeah, So every description that he has written for me
- 28:36Speaker 2: is about a candy. R real, Can we have some
- 28:39Speaker 2: little timmy.

- 29:10Speaker 2: the sting. It's the reasons dentists are as rich as heads.
- 29:17Speaker 6: Bad word.
- 29:19Speaker 2: It's all right that way about that. That ain't the
- 29:22Speaker 2: last time you gonna heal. Wait, do you do something wrong?
- 29:30Speaker 2: Oh you're gonna get cussed. Smooth out, well gathered around,
- 29:34Speaker 2: boys and guys. I'm gona tell you about the people
- 29:37Speaker 2: who work on the Steve Harvey Morning Show. I'll be
- 29:41Speaker 2: using names of actual candy and I will describe everyone
- 29:46Speaker 2: on the show. Begin let us start with Shirley. She's
- 29:54Speaker 2: a pepper med pat. Now, in order to get that kid,
- 30:02Speaker 2: you got to have a big hey.
- 30:08Speaker 3: Like you.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Yeah, he's using that baby talk. You gotta have a
- 30:17Speaker 2: big pay day, like one hundred grand.
- 30:21Speaker 7: I ain't got the money, you just a milk. Then
- 30:29Speaker 7: let's move on again.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Dance calling my little Army Joy dog Chocolate arm in Joy.
- 30:40Speaker 2: And she's married to old and they got together and
- 30:47Speaker 2: compilated and had themself a little baby roof. The little
- 30:53Speaker 2: baby roof is at the house. But some days if
- 30:57Speaker 2: you cross her, he can go really bad for you.
- 31:01Speaker 2: She becomes a real sour pas. But on her best
- 31:07Speaker 2: days you can hear her in the background just being
- 31:11Speaker 2: a jolly red.
- 31:16Speaker 3: Well.
- 31:17Speaker 2: Then that's Julie. We like to call him Junior Mitt.
- 31:26Speaker 2: Most days he just fits over the andy snickers or
- 31:32Speaker 2: bust out in old laugh attack. Now Junior is a
- 31:37Speaker 2: part of the three Musketeers. That would be Tommy, Jay
- 31:43Speaker 2: and Julie.
- 31:44Speaker 5: Yes, everybody.
- 31:47Speaker 7: Speaking of Tommy. Tommy can be a real dumb dump,
- 31:56Speaker 7: yes it is.
- 31:58Speaker 11: All.
- 31:59Speaker 7: Sometimes would get an attitude. He's just a real sour talk.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Then when he snap extra hosy becomes assaulted Armond, I'm
- 32:13Speaker 2: gonna kill him. Then there's the newcomer to the show,
- 32:19Speaker 2: j Anthony Brown. He's a diabetic.
- 32:22Speaker 7: Oh yeah, and that makes him what a sugar dang.
- 32:36Speaker 2: Surely you ruined in the bay about to laugh.
- 32:41Speaker 7: This is can Now. He don't care for the black
- 32:45Speaker 7: cow all the Tussie rolls. Uh uh. That boy just
- 32:51Speaker 7: like white shot.
- 32:57Speaker 2: Boy and that leaves me used to be my favorite
- 33:01Speaker 2: candy too. I'm just a big old box of good
- 33:04Speaker 2: and plenty with a lot of zeros behind my chip.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Some days I'm an alms and jolly some jays.
- 33:16Speaker 7: I'm just a.
- 33:20Speaker 2: Good but no matter what, I'm down to Mike e oh,

- 33:39Speaker 8: Hungry.
- 33:48Speaker 7: How'd you like that interpretation?
- 33:50Speaker 6: Man to the paper to the mouth. That's that's why
- 33:54Speaker 6: this is what.
- 34:02Speaker 1: Have you always been a diabetic?
- 34:04Speaker 3: Jay? No?
- 34:05Speaker 6: About forty years?

- 34:37Speaker 1: We would you? Is that the theme? If you had
- 34:46Speaker 1: to change jobs? Would you rather be an airline pilot
- 34:51Speaker 1: or captain of a ship.
- 34:54Speaker 2: That's so hard in the air or in the watch ahead?
- 35:00Speaker 3: Up?
- 35:00Speaker 7: And then? Oh but I don't want to be on
- 35:04Speaker 7: the job. Yeah, and that water rough man, because when
- 35:10Speaker 7: you get out of hand out there and all that
- 35:14Speaker 7: go down with your ship. The captain go down with
- 35:16Speaker 7: this ship. No, I don't know.
- 35:18Speaker 9: I don't Okay, I'm gonna go cap in the ship

- 35:44Speaker 2: just to say it is well, you know what, I'll
- 35:46Speaker 2: probably go in and have to take the captain pilot
- 35:49Speaker 2: job because at least I know we're gonna land. Yeah,
- 35:54Speaker 2: flying he is safe. It's just scary. Yeah, yeah, okay,
- 35:58Speaker 2: all right.
- 35:58Speaker 1: You'd rather be airline pilot than captain of a ship.
- 36:02Speaker 7: Yeah, I've been on them boats. You got to know
- 36:06Speaker 7: a lot. You got to know a lot though.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, all right, So everybody, you're a junior airline pilot.

- 36:58Speaker 2: that set up here and got on the way. You're
- 37:00Speaker 2: gonna take your little sick ass on the boat. You're
- 37:03Speaker 2: in the middle of nowhere.
- 37:04Speaker 7: You can't.
- 37:06Speaker 1: All right, we got time for one more. Would you
- 37:08Speaker 1: rather be reincarnated as a singer Luther Vandross or Marvin
- 37:16Speaker 1: gay Would you rather be reincarnated as Luther Van Dress
- 37:20Speaker 1: or Marvin Gaye?
- 37:23Speaker 7: To come back as Marvin?
- 37:27Speaker 2: No doubt you've seen Janie, I'm coming back as Marvin
- 37:35Speaker 2: had a soul trying down so too. No, I'm coming

- 38:19Speaker 1: Your church service is too long.
- 38:23Speaker 7: Too long.
- 38:25Speaker 1: Four, well, this shirt smells like fish in here.
- 38:31Speaker 3: Number five.
- 38:33Speaker 1: I know, I know you're not supposed to laugh at
- 38:36Speaker 1: a funeral, but.
- 38:38Speaker 7: Dot dot dot.
- 38:43Speaker 3: Cat let go.
- 38:55Speaker 1: Number five stopped doing. I know you're not supposed to
- 38:58Speaker 1: laugh at a funeral, but like the title, I know
- 39:05Speaker 1: you're not supposed to laugh at a funeral.

- 42:05Speaker 1: minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today. The subject
- 42:09Speaker 1: is his ex wife won't let me visit him. Okay,
- 42:13Speaker 1: his ex wife won't let me visit him. We'll get
- 42:15Speaker 1: into that in just a few but right now, the
- 42:17Speaker 1: nephew's here with today's prank phone call.
- 42:20Speaker 8: What you got for us, nef, Well, we got a
- 42:22Speaker 8: bit of a problem today, folks. Parasites parasites. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 42:28Speaker 8: it happens sometime. We got a bit of a problem
- 42:31Speaker 8: it is. Let's check in with cat dog, cat dog parasites.
- 42:35Speaker 3: Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach it. Brian. Brian, Hey, hey, Brian,
- 42:40Speaker 3: this is doctor Jacob. How you doing today? Yeah, yeah, okay, listen,
- 42:46Speaker 3: you actually came in, uh maybe like two and a
- 42:49Speaker 3: half week, could go here to my office and got
- 42:51Speaker 3: a physical for life insurance. Yeah yeah, yeah, right right, yeah,
- 42:55Speaker 3: everything okay, well, yeah, everything that's gonna be pretty good.
- 42:58Speaker 3: I'd like to see if I can get you to
- 42:59Speaker 3: come in and I you know, everything's going to be fine,
- 43:03Speaker 3: and I got a small procedure we'd like to do
- 43:05Speaker 3: to actually, uh, you know right now, you're not approved
- 43:08Speaker 3: for your life insurance to do until this procedure is done.
- 43:11Speaker 3: So if you don't mind coming in, we'd like to
- 43:13Speaker 3: get you taken care of. When can I schedule you
- 43:16Speaker 3: to come in, like, uh, maybe tomorrow or the following day.
- 43:19Speaker 3: What kind of procedure is? Well, actually, I don't know
- 43:22Speaker 3: if you've heard of it. This is an okostromyn. I
- 43:24Speaker 3: got something that's got something you wasn't there something doing
- 43:31Speaker 3: my eyes?
- 43:31Speaker 11: I ha heard?
- 43:32Speaker 3: What's that? No? No, has nothing to do with the eyes, No,
- 43:36Speaker 3: nothing at all. We found a little bit of parasites
- 43:40Speaker 3: in a particular area, and what we want to do
- 43:42Speaker 3: is make sure we just remove it completely and you'll
- 43:45Speaker 3: be fine. You'll get your life insurance, You're and your
- 43:47Speaker 3: family will be great. So can I get you to
- 43:49Speaker 3: come in tomorrow? Maybe Thursday afternoon? As what? What? What area?
- 43:54Speaker 3: I found the parasite? Then? Actually one of your testicles
- 43:57Speaker 3: has some parasites. So what we're going to do is
- 43:59Speaker 3: what it's called a okyostromy and okostrom is actually removing
- 44:04Speaker 3: that testicle completely and then everything gonna be fine, it's
- 44:07Speaker 3: all confined and we'll be able to remove it. You'll
- 44:10Speaker 3: be on your way, you'll get your life insurance and
- 44:12Speaker 3: everything will be fine. Okay, Like I said, can I
- 44:14Speaker 3: get can I? Can I get you to come in tomorrow?
- 44:18Speaker 3: My testicle? Well only one, only one, and it's not
- 44:21Speaker 3: going to take long. With's a thirty minute procedure. But
- 44:24Speaker 3: we want to get you to come in tomorrow or
- 44:26Speaker 3: the next day. Can we get you to go? Whether
- 44:28Speaker 3: are you available?
- 44:29Speaker 11: I just want to play a routine.
- 44:31Speaker 3: I got to remove a test sir. You know what,
- 44:34Speaker 3: oftentimes when people come in with life insurance, these type
- 44:37Speaker 3: of things happen. So we want to get you in
- 44:39Speaker 3: and get it out as quickly as possible. No, man,
- 44:42Speaker 3: I'm waiting for a routine physical. Man. I wasn't supposed
- 44:45Speaker 3: to be checking all this extra stuff. Now I get
- 44:47Speaker 3: a parent site, man, and my testical y'all don't remove
- 44:49Speaker 3: a testicle. Man, I'm twenty five, man, my wife, no kids.
- 44:52Speaker 3: They were trying to be that I gotta move a testicle.
- 44:54Speaker 3: Let me say this to you, Brian, You're gonna be
- 44:56Speaker 3: completely fine. You'll be able to create children, you'll be
- 44:59Speaker 3: able a little normal. You know you'll just see you
- 45:02Speaker 3: won't have all of them, but you'll have enough to
- 45:04Speaker 3: create children. You understand that. Nah Man, I can't No,
- 45:08Speaker 3: I ain't gonna. I can't come in for that now, Sir.
- 45:11Speaker 3: Is there any way I can get you in tomorrow
- 45:13Speaker 3: or tomorrow afternoon or the Thursday afternoon so we can
- 45:16Speaker 3: kind of get this thing taken care of and we
- 45:18Speaker 3: can get to moving on your way, and that people
- 45:20Speaker 3: can get the life insurance papers together and so forth.
- 45:23Speaker 3: Nah man, Man, we ain't rescheduling now. I need to
- 45:26Speaker 3: take in a third opinion on that. Man. He's talking
- 45:28Speaker 3: about taking away one of my We ain't rescheduling nothing, man.
- 45:31Speaker 3: I'm gonna need to see another doctor. Man, it's some sir. Sir,
- 45:34Speaker 3: you can go around the entire city and see several doctors.
- 45:37Speaker 3: I'm here to tell you you're just gonna be wasting time.
- 45:39Speaker 3: I'm going to try to knock this thing out for you.
- 45:42Speaker 3: Knock it up. I ain't agreed to nothing. Listen, you
- 45:45Speaker 3: ain't have to join us to get money, medicine, scheduling, nothing, man.
- 45:48Speaker 3: I need to take a third of pity. This is
- 45:50Speaker 3: bloom Brian. I'll tell you if you come in and
- 45:53Speaker 3: let me get this thing taken care of.
- 45:55Speaker 10: You know, I have you back.
- 45:56Speaker 3: You know, big ball and shot calling before it's all over.
- 45:59Speaker 3: You know what's big? Big ball? That shot call it? Man?
- 46:02Speaker 3: I told you, man, I ain't going in for none
- 46:04Speaker 3: of that. Man, I'm supposed to tell my wife. Man,
- 46:06Speaker 3: this this ain't cool. Man, I ain't going in for that. Man.
- 46:08Speaker 3: I'm rescheduling, manchul What do you mean you're rescheduling? Sir?
- 46:11Speaker 3: What I'm getting I'm getting another opinion. I ain't going
- 46:14Speaker 3: into that. Okay you, but I'm trying to make you
- 46:16Speaker 3: a big baller shot caller. You know, man, what what
- 46:19Speaker 3: is your name? Man? You're supposed to be a doctor.
- 46:20Speaker 3: You're making a little jokes man, and you're doing a
- 46:22Speaker 3: little play on words. Man. It ain't even funny. Man,
- 46:24Speaker 3: I'm calling it insurance sinned tell him they give me doctor. Man,
- 46:28Speaker 3: But you think he's funny. Hey, it ain't funny man.
- 46:30Speaker 3: You know you're making a little chase. Man. It ain't
- 46:31Speaker 3: funny man. I'm thinking opinion. Man, I'm forget in all
- 46:34Speaker 3: of the work that we got, the blood work, the
- 46:36Speaker 3: yearine work, the complete physical. That's when we didn't realize
- 46:40Speaker 3: that you had parasites in a particular area. So what
- 46:43Speaker 3: we're talking, I'm not. I don't mean I turned to
- 46:45Speaker 3: make a light of make humor in it, just to
- 46:47Speaker 3: make you feel a little bit more comfortable. I apologize,
- 46:49Speaker 3: all right. That ain't funny, man. You want to want
- 46:51Speaker 3: to losing? No, that ain't funny. Man. If I had
- 46:54Speaker 3: a situation, the nurse would have told me that he
- 46:56Speaker 3: ain't telling me nothing. Man, ain't me thinking, I'm all good.
- 46:58Speaker 3: Now you're telling me I got to come in to
- 47:00Speaker 3: remove a test on that. We have to run tests
- 47:02Speaker 3: on you, sir. We got tests back when you do
- 47:05Speaker 3: have the parasites, and what we want to do is
- 47:06Speaker 3: make sure we get them completely cleared out. The only
- 47:09Speaker 3: way I can clear that out is to remove that testicle. Man,
- 47:13Speaker 3: it's some man. I ain't got no parasites. Man, May
- 47:17Speaker 3: I have your running out of these tests on me?
- 47:19Speaker 3: I'm going to another doctor, man, because this man, I
- 47:21Speaker 3: ain't got no paracite. Man, all these kids got somebody
- 47:24Speaker 3: that ry me. I gotta remove them.
- 47:26Speaker 10: That's some you know, we hear me.
- 47:28Speaker 3: So that's I know you doctor, and I ain't got
- 47:30Speaker 3: a paracise. Man. I'm following my head shut. I'm telling
- 47:33Speaker 3: my dealing with you. Man. I ain't got no parasites, man, Bryan.
- 47:37Speaker 3: Let me make you understand something clearly here. It's my
- 47:40Speaker 3: job as a physician that if the patient doesn't come
- 47:42Speaker 3: to me, it's my job to come to you and
- 47:45Speaker 3: extract the problem. You're leaning towards me having to come
- 47:48Speaker 3: to your home and extract the problem.
- 47:51Speaker 11: Man, when you want to come home house, may you
- 47:54Speaker 11: not what you want just with the town to test is?
- 47:58Speaker 11: May you you fucking want.
- 48:00Speaker 3: With another doctor. I'm getting another chance. I ain't got
- 48:03Speaker 3: a pass. Let it, sir. You've got the parasites, and
- 48:06Speaker 3: you only have twenty four hours for me to get sir.
- 48:10Speaker 3: I have to move on this quickly, Brian. Okay, I'm
- 48:13Speaker 3: not gonna take it out again.
- 48:14Speaker 11: I ain't got I ain't got it. Okay, I'm three minutes.
- 48:19Speaker 11: Can't give it.
- 48:20Speaker 3: I ain't give it.
- 48:20Speaker 1: I ain't got it.
- 48:22Speaker 3: Man. It's not something that's transmitted. It doesn't come from
- 48:25Speaker 3: another another human being. It just develops in one out
- 48:29Speaker 3: of every three or four million people. You actually have it, Brian,
- 48:33Speaker 3: I got to extracted from you.
- 48:35Speaker 11: You try to tell me I'm the wire man. You
- 48:38Speaker 11: know I'm coming like that. Ain't got a passite man, Bryan.
- 48:42Speaker 3: There's something else that you have and I haven't told

- 51:41Speaker 7: Buck it up, Hold on tight, we got it. Pull
- 51:43Speaker 7: you here.
- 51:44Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry Letters subject his ex wife won't
- 51:48Speaker 1: let me visit him. Here Stephen Shirley, My boyfriend and
- 51:51Speaker 1: I have been dating for about five months and he's
- 51:54Speaker 1: the best man I've ever been with and he treats
- 51:57Speaker 1: me really good. There's a situation that I'm dealing with
- 52:01Speaker 1: and my man doesn't understand why it's bothering me. When
- 52:04Speaker 1: we first met, he had just gotten a divorce. I
- 52:08Speaker 1: mean it was literally finalized the day before I met him.
- 52:12Speaker 1: Because it was a quick divorce, he was still living
- 52:15Speaker 1: in the house he shared with his wife. He said
- 52:18Speaker 1: they didn't put the house in the divorce settlement because
- 52:21Speaker 1: it was his wife's house in her name. I thought
- 52:24Speaker 1: within months of getting a divorce, he'd move out. We
- 52:28Speaker 1: even went to look at apartments and rental houses together.
- 52:31Speaker 1: Then he informed me that he decided to stay in
- 52:35Speaker 1: the house with his ex wife because she agreed to
- 52:38Speaker 1: let him rent his man cave area of the house.
- 52:42Speaker 1: He said the room is on the second floor and
- 52:44Speaker 1: it's got a bathroom attached to it and a wet
- 52:47Speaker 1: bar section with a tiny fridge in it. He said
- 52:50Speaker 1: he's got access to a bedroom upstairs too, because his
- 52:55Speaker 1: wife doesn't go upstairs at all. I asked him about
- 52:57Speaker 1: the common areas they have to share. Assured me that
- 53:01Speaker 1: he had it all worked out. This has put a
- 53:03Speaker 1: strain on our relationship because he has to stay at
- 53:07Speaker 1: my house all of the time, since I'm not allowed
- 53:10Speaker 1: to visit him or even step foot on this woman's property.
- 53:14Speaker 1: I popped over there last week to see what would happen,
- 53:17Speaker 1: and his ex wife met me at the door and said,
- 53:19Speaker 1: if I don't like her rules, then I should let
- 53:22Speaker 1: him move in with me. I left and called and
- 53:24Speaker 1: cursed him out. He doesn't understand how crazy this is.
- 53:28Speaker 1: I'm getting the vibe that he's a sorry but man.
- 53:34Speaker 1: Yeah right, that's what she said. What is really going
- 53:36Speaker 1: on here? Please help you?
- 53:40Speaker 3: Know what?
- 53:41Speaker 1: I don't like this situation at all for you, because
- 53:44Speaker 1: this arrangement is just really stupid. I mean, what are
- 53:48Speaker 1: you getting out of this? You're getting nothing but stress
- 53:51Speaker 1: and misery and unhappiness. This so called best guy that
- 53:54Speaker 1: you've ever had is living with his ex wife and
- 53:58Speaker 1: paying her rent to live there. As much time as
- 54:01Speaker 1: you say he spends at your place. Why don't you
- 54:04Speaker 1: charge him rent? You should be charging him rent. Maybe
- 54:08Speaker 1: that will help him to understand that it's time to
- 54:11Speaker 1: get out of his wife's house and move on with
- 54:14Speaker 1: you in his life. That means getting his own place.
- 54:17Speaker 1: You said, you guys have looked at places, what happened.
- 54:21Speaker 1: That means getting his own place where you're invited, where
- 54:23Speaker 1: you can go over there and hang out and spend
- 54:26Speaker 1: the night, things like that that couples do. It makes
- 54:29Speaker 1: absolutely no sense for him to still be staying there
- 54:33Speaker 1: unless unless he's, you know, having trouble letting go. He
- 54:38Speaker 1: might be Remember you said, he treats you really well,
- 54:43Speaker 1: so he should have moved out when his wife spoke
- 54:45Speaker 1: to you so rudely when you popped up over there,
- 54:48Speaker 1: his sorry behind did nothing. Okay, he's not right for you.
- 54:53Speaker 1: I mean he can barely take care of himself at
- 54:55Speaker 1: this point, so you need to do for yourself what
- 54:58Speaker 1: he can't do for himself. And that's move on. It's
- 55:02Speaker 1: only been five months. You'll be all right. You'll be
- 55:04Speaker 1: all right, Steve.
- 55:08Speaker 7: Wow, this letter got I don't believe it written all
- 55:11Speaker 7: over it.
- 55:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I do not understand why this woman is writing
- 55:17Speaker 2: this letter because it don't make no sense. How much
- 55:20Speaker 2: time I got to deal with this before we gonna break?
- 55:23Speaker 7: All right, stay here with us.
- 55:25Speaker 2: Now, you first met this man, best man you ever
- 55:28Speaker 2: had be you never treat you really good. We first
- 55:32Speaker 2: met he had just gotten divorced, literally finalized the day
- 55:36Speaker 2: before I met him.
- 55:38Speaker 7: Danger. Danger, we'll rob its. Danger just got out.
- 55:43Speaker 3: Now.
- 55:43Speaker 2: I know marriages are over long before the date is finalized,
- 55:46Speaker 2: so they probably been going through this. But you did
- 55:48Speaker 2: say it was a quick divorce. So he was still
- 55:51Speaker 2: living in the house that he shared with his wife,
- 55:53Speaker 2: and they didn't put the house in the divorce settlement
- 55:55Speaker 2: because it was his wife's house in her name. Well,
- 55:58Speaker 2: you can't put it in the divorce settlement because of
- 56:01Speaker 2: what he did that brought about the quick divorce. You
- 56:06Speaker 2: never mentioned that, and now you ain't getting this house.
- 56:10Speaker 2: You got to get out. This is my damn house.
- 56:13Speaker 2: So now that's why that didn't get put in the
- 56:16Speaker 2: divorce settlement. I thought after months, I thought, within monks
- 56:20Speaker 2: of getting a divorce, he'd move out. Y'all went to
- 56:23Speaker 2: look at apartments and rental houses together.
- 56:25Speaker 7: He wasn't serious. He was just you know, you know,
- 56:28Speaker 7: appeasing you.
- 56:30Speaker 2: Then he informed me that he decided to stay in
- 56:32Speaker 2: the house with his ex wife because.
- 56:35Speaker 7: She agreed to let him rent his man cave area
- 56:38Speaker 7: of the house.
- 56:39Speaker 2: He said, The room is on the second floor, and
- 56:43Speaker 2: it's got a bathroom attached to it, a wet bar section.
- 56:49Speaker 7: With a tiny fridge in it.
- 56:51Speaker 2: Listen to me, You mean to tell me that a
- 56:55Speaker 2: man gets divorced and his option is to stay in
- 57:00Speaker 2: the house with the wife that you've divorced because you
- 57:06Speaker 2: got a man cave in it with a access to
- 57:10Speaker 2: a bathroom and a tiny fridge. Now later on they say,
- 57:14Speaker 2: and the bedroom is he's accessible is on another floor.
- 57:19Speaker 2: What girl, A man cave can't mean that much to
- 57:24Speaker 2: you if you ain't the king no more. See, a
- 57:28Speaker 2: man cave is only good is if you the king
- 57:32Speaker 2: and you got a man cave.
- 57:34Speaker 7: But if you ain't the king no more, you ain't
- 57:37Speaker 7: got a man cave.
- 57:39Speaker 10: You're a renter.
- 57:41Speaker 2: Matter of fact, you just air B and B. I
- 57:44Speaker 2: don't even see how you do. He ain't got nothing.
- 57:46Speaker 2: When we come back, I'm gonna break your heart. I'm
- 57:48Speaker 2: gonna break y'all.
- 57:49Speaker 1: All right, Steve, hang on, we'll have part two of
- 57:52Speaker 1: your responses.
- 57:52Speaker 7: In a man cave that a little boy got a
- 57:56Speaker 7: tiny fridge, little.
- 57:58Speaker 1: Bitty fridge coming up. Steve's response Part two at twenty
- 58:02Speaker 1: three minutes after the hour Strawberry Letters. Subject for today
- 58:06Speaker 1: his ex wife won't let me visit him. We'll get
- 58:08Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening, Steve Hardy
- 58:13Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's
- 58:16Speaker 1: Strawberry letter. The subject his ex wife won't let me
- 58:20Speaker 1: visit him.
- 58:21Speaker 7: This man got a divorce.
- 58:22Speaker 2: You met him right after he got the divorce, y'all,
- 58:25Speaker 2: the best man you ever met.
- 58:27Speaker 7: You say. It was a quick divorce.
- 58:28Speaker 2: So they didn't put the house into the divorce settlement
- 58:31Speaker 2: because it was his wife's house and in her name.
- 58:35Speaker 7: So you thought.
- 58:36Speaker 2: Within monthster getting the divorce, he moved out. Y'all went
- 58:38Speaker 2: apartment looking and everything that was just to appease you.
- 58:42Speaker 2: Then informed you that he decided to stay in the
- 58:44Speaker 2: house with his ex wife because she agreed. She agreed
- 58:48Speaker 2: to let him rent his man cave area of the house. Now,
- 58:53Speaker 2: he said, the room is on the second floor. It's
- 58:57Speaker 2: got a bathroom attached to it. Which anything that's got
- 59:00Speaker 2: a bathroom attached to it on the second floor is
- 59:04Speaker 2: not a full bath. It's a half bath, sink, toilet. Oh,
- 59:11Speaker 2: I want you to understand this. Now, they don't put
- 59:13Speaker 2: showers and stuff on little areas. They don't have beds,
- 59:18Speaker 2: not in regular houses. They don't. I'm just telling you.
- 59:22Speaker 2: He said, the room's on the second floor, it's got
- 59:24Speaker 2: bathroom attached to it, and a wet bar section. So
- 59:28Speaker 2: that means there's a sink, a sink over there with
- 59:34Speaker 2: a tiny refrigerator in it. He got access to a bedroom,
- 59:39Speaker 2: but the bedroom is upstairs. What because his wife doesn't
- 59:46Speaker 2: go upstairs at all? What in her house she don't
- 59:52Speaker 2: go upstairs at all. So you ask him about the
- 59:56Speaker 2: common areas that they have to share, and he assued me,
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: ensured me that he has had it all worked out,
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: so now he don't even have an area of his own.
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: He got common areas with his ex wife. This has
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: put a strain under our relationship because he's had to
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: stay at my house all of the time since I'm
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: not allowed to visit him or step foot on this
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: woman's property.
- 1:00:21Speaker 7: Now, guess what this crazy woman does.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: I popped up over that last week to see what
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: would happen, and his ex wife met me at the
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: door and said, if I don't like her rules, then
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: you should then I should let him move in with me.
- 1:00:35Speaker 7: First of all, you should have never done that.
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: And what you think the woman was gonna say, oh, hey,
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: nice to meet you, come on in in her house
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: that's in her name, that he'dne already he done told him,
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: she done, told him he ain't the king no more,
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: This ain't a man cave.
- 1:00:53Speaker 7: This a room.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: I'm gonna give you access to a bedroom that's upstairs,
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: and you're gonna pay me money, And then told you
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: if you don't like the rules and ought to let
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: him move in me. I left, called and cussed him out.
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: What you cuss him out for? He told your ass
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: couldn't come over there, right, he said, don't come over here.
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: This hell of crazy. This her house, She making all
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: the rules. He doesn't understand how crazy this is. I'm
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: getting the vibe that he's a sorry ass man, you think,
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: because I'm gonna tell you what's really going on? She say,
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: what's really going on?
- 1:01:31Speaker 7: Please help me? All right? First of all, I'm gonna
- 1:01:33Speaker 7: tell you what's really going on.
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: Number one, he ain't got no money because any man
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: that gets a divorce is not gonna live in a
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: subservient position like this with all these rules. He can't
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: have a company, right, You can't date, and you'd have
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: brought your ass over there to just see what would happen,
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: and you the damn near got cussed out.
- 1:01:55Speaker 7: So now let's go over what this man has.
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: One the fridge okay, he stuck on that too. Access
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: to a bedroom which is not his, He just got
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: access to it. He has a bath that's probably a
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: half bath. They have to share common areas. And if
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: she in now, she can tell him it ain't common.
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: Right now, your ass back in your man cave. Just
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: your space is the man cave. Next one, it's her house,
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: it's in her name. Here's the next one. She makes
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: all the rules. Here's the next one.
- 1:02:48Speaker 7: She told you if he don't like it, he can
- 1:02:52Speaker 7: move in with you.
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: Listen to me, A man cave can't mean that much
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: when you ain't king no more, and he done gave
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: up all rights as king. See what makes you have
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: a man cave is when you king of the castle
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: and your wife gives you a space that she don't lie.
- 1:03:13Speaker 7: The kids come in.
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: Nothing that's yours. You can do it like you want to,
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: cause you the husband, that's your aria. Baby, do it
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: like you want to. Y'all want to watch a game video,
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: whatever you want to do, if that's your room.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: He don't have that no more.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: You know why because now he written that. So you
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: see he has nothing and he ain't got no money.
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: Because why would I rent this space that I can't
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: even have company in when I could take my money
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: and get me an apartment. But he can't go get
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: the apartment with you because he ain't got his money,
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: right because.
- 1:03:48Speaker 7: He lost it in the divorce. She ain't just take
- 1:03:52Speaker 7: the house.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: She got the savings, cause whatever he did to get
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: put out, he got.
- 1:04:03Speaker 7: To pay for it.
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: You get to feeling here, sorry, ass man, she do too.
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: That's why he got that damn man cave, and he
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: paying rent in it, and he got access to a
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: common area and he can't have no company like he's sixteen,
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: all right.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: Steve post your comments on Today's Strawberry Letter and Steve

- 1:05:35Speaker 12: but ninety five. I'm just saying, like, getting stuff out
- 1:05:40Speaker 12: the freezer at the top, I can't do that.
- 1:05:44Speaker 7: I go in there and get a pack of meat
- 1:05:45Speaker 7: at the top of get out of the.

- 1:05:59Speaker 7: Cling just have to be a night like like he
- 1:06:06Speaker 7: got to go have the bottom.
- 1:06:08Speaker 12: Then you got to get up here where I am
- 1:06:10Speaker 12: talking me like, man, don't worry about that. I got

- 1:09:37Speaker 2: and then Shirley, we've been with you. Shirley was in
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: Dubai and Shirley had a glass of wine with us

- 1:11:00Speaker 7: beach and stuff.
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: We have cold sitting around here, were balling food, they
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: bringing it out, just.
- 1:11:09Speaker 7: Bringing it out. Awesome. Ah, this hell fl gonna order
- 1:11:14Speaker 7: some red ones. Everybody told her, get my blood.
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: What your doctor said was they can't get in your blood.
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: That's what your doctor said. Your doctor said, it can't
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: get in your blood. Not just blood for your blood.
- 1:11:30Speaker 7: It's good for everybody else's blood. It can't even get
- 1:11:33Speaker 7: in your blood. This hell for embassing me in July.

- 1:11:44Speaker 10: I think that's.
- 1:11:47Speaker 7: Surely dry January.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: All right, So there you go, dry January for your health.
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: We'll be back with more of the Steve Every Morning
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: Show coming up at twenty minutes after. Right after this,
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: you're listening to Harvey Morning Show. A software engineer from
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: India got a job with Meta, which used to be
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: known as Facebook. And this guy moved all the way
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: from India to Canada to start work, and then two
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: days later he was laid off as the company let
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: go of eleven thousand employees, or thirteen percent of its workforce.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: So getting fired two days after starting a job that
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: you moved seven thousand miles for is pretty cold blooded.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: That's all the throat right there, it is.
- 1:12:37Speaker 7: It really is to yeah, plane, get on back to
- 1:12:40Speaker 7: the crib.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: Yeah, So Steve I know you've had a lot of jobs.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: So what's the fastest amount of time you've got you've
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: gotten fired from a job.
- 1:12:49Speaker 7: Twenty minutes.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: You beat the record.
- 1:12:55Speaker 7: That's just record breaking.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: Yeah it is you still training?
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: How you? Yeah?
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: I got through in training. I was working at dinners.
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: I was following this white girl man. I was telling
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: her our light was on. The people food ready, that
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: we don't have to get it right now. Yeah, but
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: the man said, when the light come on, we number fourteen,
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: we supposed to go get their food. We'll go get
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: it when I say go get it. You're in training,
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: all right, okay, cool. About ten minutes later, we finally
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: go over there and bring the people food. Big fat
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: white dude said, hey, this effing food is effing cold.
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: I look right upside, I said, I said, I told you.
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: She walked out, learned some customer relations. I say, hey, man,
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: got a quick customing to me because I wanted to
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: brain your food. She told me, I don't give it
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: what you're talking about. So I took the plate and
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: flipped it in his lap.
- 1:13:43Speaker 7: Twenty minutes.
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: That's how twenty minutes all right here coming up in
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll play a round
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: it would you rather? Right after this? You're listening hard
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: morning show? All right, guys, it is time for yet
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: another round of would you rather?
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: Here?
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: We go too? Would because that's the thing, if you
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: had to change jobs, would you rather be an airline
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: pilot or captain of a ship that's a hard one
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: in the air or in the watcher?
- 1:14:21Speaker 7: I'm scared up in there.
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: Oh, but I don't want to be on that job
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: in that water, rough manuse.
- 1:14:31Speaker 7: When you get out of hand out there and all
- 1:14:35Speaker 7: that go down with your ship, the captain go down
- 1:14:37Speaker 7: with this ship. No, I don't know. I don't okay, JR.
- 1:14:43Speaker 9: I'ma go capting the ship because if I'm in the
- 1:14:45Speaker 9: air and then the passing star the pilot coming out
- 1:14:47Speaker 9: the cockpit, you start acting up on pill.
- 1:14:49Speaker 7: I'm coming out the cockpit. I'm fighting. I'm not not suiting.
- 1:14:52Speaker 7: Let you take over for I'm out. Yeah, I'll be
- 1:14:56Speaker 7: right back. Hold on, I'll be right back. What airlines
- 1:14:59Speaker 7: is it?
- 1:14:59Speaker 3: Do?
- 1:14:59Speaker 8: Is spirit?
- 1:15:00Speaker 3: I mean?
- 1:15:00Speaker 7: What's what I'm saying? Yeah, you know, I gotta know
- 1:15:04Speaker 7: who I'm flying with it.
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: Just to say that is well, you know what, I
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: probably don't and have to take the captain pilot job
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: because at least I know we're gonna land here.
- 1:15:15Speaker 7: Yeah, flying, he is safe, it's just scary. Yeah, okay,
- 1:15:19Speaker 7: all right.
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: You'd rather be an airline pilot than the captain of
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: a ship.
- 1:15:24Speaker 7: Yeah, I've been on them boats. You got to know
- 1:15:27Speaker 7: a lot. You got to know a lot though, Yeah, okay, all.
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: Right, So everybody, you're a junior airline pilot.
- 1:15:40Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm on the pilot. I'm on the Yeah, I
- 1:15:43Speaker 7: wanted I'm gonna be on that on that plank. Okay,
- 1:15:45Speaker 7: all right, I'm sorry.
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: Stephen, Tommy pilot, junior ship captain. Okay, all right, moving
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: on with his little sick Would you rather.
- 1:15:57Speaker 7: Like like he wanted to be somewhere seasick and hand sick.
- 1:16:00Speaker 3: So.
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: We don't want him to play.
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: Would you rather your last need to be somewhere flying
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: where you can get to these hospitals.
- 1:16:14Speaker 3: Doing me bad?
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: This week?
- 1:16:16Speaker 7: A man, I ain't letting him slide at all.
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: Me and Tommy that set up here and got on
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: the plane. You're gonna take your little sick ass on
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: the boat. Now you're in the middle of nowhere.
- 1:16:25Speaker 7: You can't.
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: All right, We got time for one more? Would you
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: rather be reincarnated as a singer Luther Vandross or Marvin
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: gay Would you rather be reincarnated as Van Dress or
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: Marvin Gaye?
- 1:16:43Speaker 7: Lulls to come back as Marvin, No.
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: Doubt you've seen Janie.
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: I'm coming back towards from Marvin.
- 1:16:56Speaker 7: Had that soul train Dawn so too. No, I'm coming
- 1:16:59Speaker 7: back as Off and Gate.
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: All right, that's what you're rather for today. Coming up
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: our last break of the day at forty nine minutes
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: after be our We're got some inspiring closing remarks from
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: the one and only, our fearless leader, Steve Harvey. Right
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys,
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: here we are our last break of the day, and
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: time now for some closing remarks from the one and
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey.
- 1:17:28Speaker 7: Well, you know, I don't. I don't really. I've been
- 1:17:31Speaker 7: thinking about a lot of things, you know, and I
- 1:17:34Speaker 7: was thinking of just on.
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: A positive tip, you know, to just kind of just
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: always encourage people to stay with it.
- 1:17:44Speaker 3: You know.
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: Oftentimes you know, when you all you know, when you
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: have dreams and aspirations, all of us from time to
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: time they get sidelined. All of our dreams and aspiration
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: takes a hit along the way to attaining them, and
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: there's always a detour on the way, there's always some confusion,
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: a set of barrels set up. It's just really hard
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: to see a vision from start to finish scott free
- 1:18:14Speaker 2: with no troubles.
- 1:18:15Speaker 7: So if you're in that position today.
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: And you're finding yourself waning in your dreams and visions,
- 1:18:22Speaker 2: it seems like it's just not happening the way you
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: want it. I want you to understand it's not going
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: to happen just the way you want it. That is
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: the way it works. And I know that's not great news,
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: but it's the truth. Nobody gets where they want to
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: be in life just the way they want it. So
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: if you're thinking that you're gonna get there scott free,
- 1:18:47Speaker 2: that you will just have a smooth sailing, that's not
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: the way it works.
- 1:18:51Speaker 7: Life isn't designed that way. So factor in.
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: The fact that you are going to have troubles and
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: difficulties along the way, and if you stop your visions
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: or dreams because of that reason, right there, the rule
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: is simple.
- 1:19:11Speaker 7: Here's the rule.
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: You can start again today. You can just start again today,
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: and guess what. You don't need anybody's permission. All you
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: have to do is rewrite your dreams down on your
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: vision board, reclaim victory, ask God for your help and
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: your strength, and get back to making your dreams and
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: visions come true for your life.
- 1:19:41Speaker 7: You all, listen to me.
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: Stop waking up just going about the day seeing how
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: it's going without any projects, without any visions, without any aspirations,
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: without a plan to attain the things that you really
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: want in life.
- 1:20:01Speaker 7: Stop waking up like that with nothing to do. Make
- 1:20:06Speaker 7: a plan at.
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: Night, pray about it, ask God for help. You know now,
- 1:20:11Speaker 2: look when you rake, when you make your plan, that's
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: just the request. You're asking God to help you come true.
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: Matter how you get there is going to be difficult.
- 1:20:22Speaker 2: It's going to be difficult, but once you started, there
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: is no one who says you can't. So y'all just
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: get back in the pocket, get back up on the horse,
- 1:20:35Speaker 2: get back to dreaming again, get back to wanting to
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: hoping to believe in again. Don't let the setbacks and
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: the troubles of life stop you, because I got news
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: for you.
- 1:20:48Speaker 7: You're gonna always have them. You're going to always have them.
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: And like today, man, even though I'm still in Africa,
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: I just went back through my phone because what I
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: do is when I see motivat phrases or scriptures that
- 1:21:02Speaker 2: really register with me, I take my phone out and
- 1:21:05Speaker 2: I take the picture of it. And then I've created
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: this album in my photo section called motivation, and I
- 1:21:12Speaker 2: file all those pictures in my motivational thing. And when
- 1:21:16Speaker 2: I find myself wavering, feeling a little uncertain, feeling a
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: little shaky about decisions, I go back to my motivational
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: folder in my photos and I just started reading the
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: little quotes I got in there. I just start going
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: down the line. I've got some stuff in there, man,
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: that I've had in there for years. Man, but I
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: can still read from time to time, you know, Like
- 1:21:42Speaker 2: for example, I was today I read this one. It says,
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: I can't cry about having a lot on my plate
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: when my whole goal was to eat.
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: I can't cry.
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: About having a whole lot on my plate with my
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: whole goal was to eat. And man, I find myself
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: doing that, not talking about Lord, I'm over bird man,
- 1:22:06Speaker 2: I'm tired. You know, I got all this, I got
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: all that. Hey, Steve, did you hear yourself? You got
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: all this and you got all that what you're tripping for,
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: and I gathered myself, you know, and then you know,
- 1:22:22Speaker 2: you know, I have a lot of stuff in there.
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: Like one of them I read today was, oh my bad,
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: I'm sorry for bothering you. I forgot. I only exist
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: when you need me for something. That's God tell you,
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: Oh my bad, I'm sorry for bothering you. I forgot.
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: I only exist when you need me for something. I
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: have all these little things, man, that always motivate me.
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: Here's another one. Winners are not people who never fail,
- 1:22:52Speaker 2: but people who never quit. Amen. Yeah, failure is a part.
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: Failure is a part of the process. Here's another one.
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: I have not failed. I've just found ten thousand ways
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: that don't work. Thomas Edison.
- 1:23:12Speaker 7: Wow, I have not failed. I just found ten thousand
- 1:23:15Speaker 7: ways that don't work. Do you see?
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: Success isn't how far you got, but the distance you
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: travel from where you started.
- 1:23:29Speaker 7: That's a proverb.
- 1:23:31Speaker 2: And I just keep stuff like that, and you know, always,
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: And the last one I read this morning was I
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: want to inspire people. I want someone to look at
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: me and say, because of you, I didn't give up.
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: That's always been important to me. So y'all stay motivated,
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: stay the course, find a way to self motivate yourself
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: when you down, and get back to dreaming and believing again.
- 1:23:59Speaker 7: Those are my clothesmen, y'all have a nice shame. We'll
- 1:24:01Speaker 7: see them all.
