- 2:04Speaker 7: morning everybody. You are listening to the voice one and
- 2:08Speaker 7: only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Come on, y'all.
- 2:13Speaker 7: I said that a little bit wrong this morning. But
- 2:14Speaker 7: I'm tired. I just came out to gym. I'm a
- 2:17Speaker 7: little out of sorts right now, but it's okay. I'll
- 2:20Speaker 7: pull it together. But let me tell you something, man,
- 2:23Speaker 7: I got a clear cut message for you today.
- 2:25Speaker 2: I really do you know. As I've gotten older, I've.
- 2:32Speaker 7: Began to take some supplements and supplements to help your
- 2:39Speaker 7: body in things that it doesn't produce as much as
- 2:46Speaker 7: it used to. Supplements are designed to help you replenish
- 2:54Speaker 7: what's been depleted in your body.
- 2:58Speaker 2: That's supplements.
- 3:00Speaker 7: Now, Now, people, I can tell you can speak a
- 3:04Speaker 7: lot more aggressively and a lot more knowledgeable on this subject,
- 3:07Speaker 7: but just giving you just a brief overview of my
- 3:11Speaker 7: understanding of it. Now, if you've been living your life
- 3:16Speaker 7: for a while, supplements are necessary.
- 3:22Speaker 2: For most of us now. Also, if you've.
- 3:29Speaker 7: Been living your life for a while spiritually, you may
- 3:36Speaker 7: need some supplements.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Because you've just been at it for a while. You
- 3:43Speaker 2: done got wolled down a little bit.
- 3:46Speaker 8: You're tied.
- 3:46Speaker 7: Some people around you, ain't changing. Some people around you draining.
- 3:51Speaker 7: It's just life just keeps on coming. Life don't ever
- 3:55Speaker 7: get no easier. It just you become more knowledgeable about
- 3:59Speaker 7: how to hand it does not get any either easier.
- 4:03Speaker 7: You continue to lose love ones, you continue to have
- 4:07Speaker 7: to confront the challenges. It's just that over course of
- 4:10Speaker 7: time you become experienced and you can handle them better.
- 4:13Speaker 7: But life don't get no easier. But spiritually you get
- 4:19Speaker 7: a little bit worn down. Well, you need some spiritual
- 4:23Speaker 7: supplements too. And I'm just gonna flat out tell you,
- 4:28Speaker 7: the more God that you can replenish yourself with, the
- 4:34Speaker 7: higher the dosage of God that you are willing to
- 4:39Speaker 7: put into your spiritual self, the possibilities then become limitless.
- 4:49Speaker 2: You actually have the ability to make a.
- 4:52Speaker 7: Conscious decision to supplement your body, and you have a
- 4:57Speaker 7: conscious decision to supplement your spe You can do both.
- 5:03Speaker 7: So what I did was I could just tell you
- 5:06Speaker 7: what I did. I was taking all these supplements. I
- 5:09Speaker 7: started taking supplements while I was about forty five. I
- 5:12Speaker 7: think that's when I began. I was thinking about it
- 5:17Speaker 7: one day and I just went wow, Man. I started
- 5:20Speaker 7: talking to some knowledgeable people. I found out I needed
- 5:22Speaker 7: these things. But then spiritually, man, I started supplementing myself too.
- 5:26Speaker 7: I started praying some more. I started trying to gain
- 5:30Speaker 7: a little bit more knowledge and wisdom and understanding from
- 5:34Speaker 7: scriptures and just try to make sense of all of it,
- 5:38Speaker 7: you know, just make a little bit more sense out
- 5:41Speaker 7: of my life, make sure that I was on the
- 5:43Speaker 7: right path. As a matter of fact, get on the
- 5:45Speaker 7: right path, find out my real purpose and my mission
- 5:49Speaker 7: in life. And nobody can do that for you. That's
- 5:52Speaker 7: something that you have to want to do. But I
- 5:55Speaker 7: started supplementing my spiritual side of my life and supplementing
- 5:59Speaker 7: my body. Now I happen to be right now about
- 6:03Speaker 7: in the best shape I've ever been in. Technically, I
- 6:09Speaker 7: can assure you, though I am in the best shape
- 6:12Speaker 7: spiritually I have ever been in.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Now my body has looked better, it really has.
- 6:18Speaker 8: I mean, come on now, and where I am.
- 6:21Speaker 7: In life, at the stage with the years I've been
- 6:23Speaker 7: walking this earth, Man, I'm cool, But spiritually I'm in
- 6:29Speaker 7: the best shape I've.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Ever been in.
- 6:31Speaker 7: And what's done for me, y'all is it's gave me
- 6:34Speaker 7: a peace and a calmness. You know it used to be, man,
- 6:37Speaker 7: I used to fight so hard against people who attack me. Now, Man,
- 6:42Speaker 7: it ain't that serious to me because now I have
- 6:45Speaker 7: a full understanding that if I come under attack, that
- 6:49Speaker 7: God is with me, because that's a promise he made.
- 6:52Speaker 7: That's Isaiah fifty four seventeen. That's any weapon formed against you,
- 6:58Speaker 7: any weapon formed against you shall not prosper.
- 7:02Speaker 8: You can't.
- 7:03Speaker 2: You can't come and get me.
- 7:05Speaker 8: I'm not here for you to.
- 7:06Speaker 7: Take down because you didn't put me here. So why
- 7:11Speaker 7: would I fear a person bringing me down when they're
- 7:13Speaker 7: not the reason that I'm here. So when you attack me,
- 7:18Speaker 7: you have to be careful because I ain't ever by myself.
- 7:23Speaker 7: I formed a relationship with the most High that I
- 7:27Speaker 7: can rely on for protection, for coverage, and for peace.
- 7:32Speaker 7: A lot of times when things used to stress me out,
- 7:35Speaker 7: how to run this, how to handle this.
- 7:37Speaker 2: How to deal with that?
- 7:38Speaker 7: You know, fame is rough man, And then you put
- 7:41Speaker 7: that together with some business, and you put that together
- 7:43Speaker 7: with your family. You got a lot of stuff you're
- 7:45Speaker 7: trying to tend to. I have a peace of mind
- 7:48Speaker 7: about it now because I have someone who provides me
- 7:54Speaker 7: with a sense of understanding and calmness that lets me
- 7:57Speaker 7: know that this too shall pass. That it ain't just
- 8:00Speaker 7: a saying that I heard old people say that. It
- 8:04Speaker 7: ain't just something my mama used to tell me. It's
- 8:06Speaker 7: something that can really happen once you get in understanding,
- 8:10Speaker 7: this too shall pass. This is just another piece of
- 8:13Speaker 7: life that you are now better equipped to handle. I'm
- 8:17Speaker 7: telling you what's done for me. Millions of people out
- 8:21Speaker 7: there hear me. Man has done the same thing for them.
- 8:25Speaker 7: I'm telling it new to some people, but it's some
- 8:27Speaker 7: people that show enough understand what I'm saying. And then
- 8:30Speaker 7: if you have known this but kind of forgot it,
- 8:34Speaker 7: it's time for some supplements. So when you get like that,
- 8:39Speaker 7: and now you find yourself in a situation with a
- 8:42Speaker 7: disease or something, you gotta do something Nah, you gotta
- 8:46Speaker 7: start juicing all your greens. You gotta start detoxing your body.
- 8:50Speaker 7: You gotta start purifying the system. See, the human body
- 8:54Speaker 7: has always had a way to repair itself if you
- 8:57Speaker 7: just give it a chance. Your mind has always had
- 9:01Speaker 7: a chance to repair itself if you give it a chance.
- 9:04Speaker 7: And your spirit always has a chance to repair itself
- 9:09Speaker 7: if you give it a chance. It's the only way
- 9:13Speaker 7: I can maintain at this level, and it's the only
- 9:16Speaker 7: way I have any.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Chance of going further.
- 9:20Speaker 7: I have to increase my dosage of spiritual supplements. I
- 9:25Speaker 7: got to talk to God a little bit more. I
- 9:28Speaker 7: got to pray a little bit more. I got to
- 9:32Speaker 7: understand his word a little bit more. That's all I'm
- 9:36Speaker 7: telling you. Man, If you do that, if you just
- 9:39Speaker 7: pray more, if you just studied a little bit more, Man,
- 9:42Speaker 7: just try to get and understanding, ask him to help
- 9:44Speaker 7: you understand. It will open up the possibilities of your
- 9:49Speaker 7: life into a realm you never could have imagined.
- 9:54Speaker 2: I'm telling you that's real.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Okay, you're listening.
- 9:59Speaker 7: Morning show, ladies, gentlemen, boys and girls. Rabbit hunters, squirrel chasers,

- 10:34Speaker 7: waste readishment control, truck drivers, uber, whoever you are to
- 10:40Speaker 7: need some uplift this morning, we are here for you.
- 10:44Speaker 2: We are here for you.
- 10:45Speaker 7: And now for those of you that are over eighty
- 10:48Speaker 7: years old, here's a little something for you.
- 10:51Speaker 3: I'm I'm climbing up.
- 10:57Speaker 9: On the rough side a oh the mountainy day. I'm
- 11:11Speaker 9: clad high man up. Really, Lord, that's a little something
- 11:15Speaker 9: for everybody this morning.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Welcome to the Sevevolved Morning Show.
- 11:18Speaker 7: Everybody, get your attitude together, get your gratitude together, get
- 11:22Speaker 7: your altitude together. But it starts with gratitude that affects
- 11:26Speaker 7: your attitude, that has direct correlation with your altitude. That's
- 11:29Speaker 7: what we do in this show stars some very capable people.
- 11:32Speaker 7: Shirley Strawberry calling for real Mouth of the South, Mississippi,
- 11:36Speaker 7: Monica kill Space. They call him Junior and the legend
- 11:39Speaker 7: that is Nephew Tommy Junior. What today, Grey Tale? Yes,
- 11:45Speaker 7: let me ask you to should it be?
- 11:47Speaker 2: Now? You know you give your do you be hard
- 11:50Speaker 2: on yourself?
- 11:50Speaker 8: Do you give yourself enough credit? I know a lot
- 11:53Speaker 8: of people.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, that's the thing I'm thinking about because
- 11:56Speaker 2: I thought about where I'm at today and my birthday
- 11:59Speaker 2: coming up, and do I give myself enough credit for
- 12:01Speaker 2: what I done?
- 12:02Speaker 8: I think I should be doing something more.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Well.
- 12:06Speaker 7: The problem with us is we are always in chase
- 12:10Speaker 7: mode and we're not enough in gratitude. Mold, And I'm
- 12:16Speaker 7: guilty of the same thing because I'm extremely hard on myself,
- 12:20Speaker 7: and people around me have to tell me all the time,
- 12:22Speaker 7: you trip it, you need to slow down, you need
- 12:26Speaker 7: to enjoy your life a little bit more because of
- 12:29Speaker 7: the work you've put in and you've done. But that
- 12:32Speaker 7: comes from not enough gratitude. And I'm very guilty of
- 12:36Speaker 7: this myself, Junior, because See, we're so busy in the
- 12:40Speaker 7: chase game that we failed to realize how much we
- 12:44Speaker 7: done caught. See, you've been chasing, but you also been catching.
- 12:48Speaker 7: And when you fail to realize how much you've caught,
- 12:51Speaker 7: your focus is on the chase, and then you lose
- 12:54Speaker 7: the gratitude of what you've caught. So you as your
- 12:57Speaker 7: birthday approaches and you realize that I am not where
- 13:01Speaker 7: I want to be, But can you not also realize
- 13:04Speaker 7: that you ain't where you was.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Yes, shirts, amen, I'm sorry.
- 13:14Speaker 2: You need to go somewhere and sit down. Man, shut up.
- 13:19Speaker 7: More, because I all you got to do is think
- 13:21Speaker 7: back when it wasn't going this well? All right, all right,
- 13:25Speaker 7: more gratitude affect your attitude, which is new direct correlation
- 13:31Speaker 7: with your altitude.
- 13:32Speaker 9: See, y'all right, come back with the Morning Steve haf
- 13:34Speaker 9: mort Show right after, and I got Hirley.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Don't even worry about it. Come next, prak phone call.

- 17:48Speaker 2: eight hundred. Man, I'm just acting ask you to look
- 17:51Speaker 2: out for a brother. Man, you said, yeah, look out.
- 17:54Speaker 10: You know my texting cut from forty hours a week

- 18:21Speaker 6: Man.
- 18:22Speaker 10: If you was my brother, my people, you know, maybe

- 20:39Speaker 2: ask you. You got to tell me, man, what is
- 20:40Speaker 2: the baddest radio show in the land?
- 20:43Speaker 10: Man, Steve Harvey Morning Show. Yeah, crazy man?
- 20:50Speaker 6: And then you have it coming up next, it is
- 20:52Speaker 6: asked the c O or Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey.
- 20:55Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 20:59Speaker 6: Time Now for the CLO. Now this one is from
- 21:02Speaker 6: Amelia in DC, Amelia Rights. I met a sixty one
- 21:06Speaker 6: year old gentleman several months ago. I'm fifty six and
- 21:09Speaker 6: I've been divorced five years. He's been divorced for two
- 21:13Speaker 6: years from the beginning of our courtship. He said he
- 21:16Speaker 6: doesn't like labels. This conflicts with his actions because he
- 21:20Speaker 6: sleeps with me and gives me a few dollars every
- 21:22Speaker 6: now and then. To me, we are in a relationship.
- 21:25Speaker 6: I have told him I want a commitment that leads
- 21:28Speaker 6: to a wedding. Should I give him more time or
- 21:30Speaker 6: give him an ultimatum?
- 21:33Speaker 7: See, well, you could do whatever you want to, but
- 21:35Speaker 7: he told you he ain't into no titles, which is
- 21:39Speaker 7: cold word for I don't want to be married. Now
- 21:42Speaker 7: you called it a relationship because he didn't gave you
- 21:45Speaker 7: some money.
- 21:46Speaker 1: And what and because he sleeps over you know?
- 21:49Speaker 7: Okay, you know, girl, I can't tell you and you
- 21:55Speaker 7: sit six, I can't tell you how many me in
- 21:58Speaker 7: this level, I ain't got tried to come over with
- 22:00Speaker 7: no damn title. Sleeping over don't mean that. Y'all have titles,
- 22:06Speaker 7: and he ain't gave you one. Now, you have every
- 22:10Speaker 7: right to want what you want. So you could want
- 22:13Speaker 7: what you want, and you can make an ultimatum, but
- 22:16Speaker 7: you have to be prepared for the response because he
- 22:19Speaker 7: gonna go back to what I told you in the beginning. Now,
- 22:23Speaker 7: women always think they can change a man, and he might.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, all right, Amelia, did you hear that?
- 22:31Speaker 1: Say it again?
- 22:32Speaker 2: Colo, he's getting what he wants. Now, you got to
- 22:35Speaker 2: see if you can get what you want.
- 22:36Speaker 1: That's right, all right?
- 22:38Speaker 6: Here we goktrees and tuplo. Mississippi says two below Mississippi. Yeah,
- 22:44Speaker 6: I'm a forty eight year old single mother of an
- 22:46Speaker 6: eighteen year old son. I woke up to a big
- 22:49Speaker 6: commotion recently, and it was my son having sex with
- 22:51Speaker 6: his girlfriend in the shower. I have asked him repeatedly
- 22:56Speaker 6: to stop sneaking her in my house. I talked to
- 22:59Speaker 6: her mom about the incident, and she said her daughter
- 23:02Speaker 6: is eighteen and grown. I make sure my son has condoms,
- 23:05Speaker 6: and I suggested to the girl that she get on
- 23:08Speaker 6: some kind of birth control. The girl's mom said, I'm
- 23:11Speaker 6: wrong for meddling in their sex life. Is she crazy
- 23:14Speaker 6: or am I doing too much?
- 23:16Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, the woman is crazy.
- 23:20Speaker 7: But you have every right to make rules at your house.
- 23:23Speaker 7: That's your house. You can make all the rules you want.
- 23:27Speaker 7: Now he eighteen, he's sneaking this.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Girl in the house, but he ain't got no sense
- 23:32Speaker 2: to be quiet.
- 23:34Speaker 7: See what he needs is a room or an apartment, yes, y,
- 23:39Speaker 7: Or go over her mama house, who ain't got no
- 23:42Speaker 7: problem with none of this.
- 23:44Speaker 2: No, because she'll stay in her business.
- 23:49Speaker 7: So tell your son take all that over her mama
- 23:52Speaker 7: house because she cool with it, but you ain't. Now,
- 23:56Speaker 7: you got every right to set the rules up in
- 23:58Speaker 7: your house. He has to respect them.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Amen to that.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Hey, moving on, y'all need to go downtown. Park in
- 24:06Speaker 2: missip sowt.
- 24:09Speaker 1: In the shower in your mom's house and making a
- 24:11Speaker 1: lot of noise.
- 24:12Speaker 8: Yeah, you need to go down.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Is a big river, go down through that, Miss Sydney,
- 24:17Speaker 2: going down.
- 24:18Speaker 1: There, You down there only? Yeah, team Yeah.
- 24:22Speaker 7: Man, you know you're eighteen, but you're acting grown. But
- 24:25Speaker 7: you ain't paying for nothing, nothing, nothing from no lady.
- 24:28Speaker 7: You're not wrong at all. And the other mama she
- 24:31Speaker 7: cool with it. Yeah, body so so she cool with it, y'all.
- 24:34Speaker 7: Go over her house.
- 24:35Speaker 1: Yeah, make all the noise you want.
- 24:36Speaker 2: Right in her shower. I got a tie wreck off
- 24:41Speaker 2: the wall.
- 24:43Speaker 6: Mary moving on, Mary and Fort Lauderdale says. I'm a
- 24:46Speaker 6: thirty seven year old married woman and my husband is
- 24:49Speaker 6: thirty eight. He has turned into a miserable homebody and
- 24:52Speaker 6: he wants me to be one too. We've been married
- 24:55Speaker 6: for eight years and I am still active in my
- 24:57Speaker 6: sorority and I go out to brunch and social events
- 25:00Speaker 6: once or twice a month. My husband told me that
- 25:03Speaker 6: married women of my age shouldn't hang.
- 25:05Speaker 2: Out like I do.
- 25:06Speaker 6: My line sister is having a yacht party for a
- 25:09Speaker 6: fortieth birthday, and my husband doesn't think I should go,
- 25:12Speaker 6: but I'm going anyway. Am I wrong for being defiant?
- 25:16Speaker 2: Absolutely not. You have every right to live your life.
- 25:21Speaker 2: And when is it too old to have a social life?
- 25:24Speaker 1: Yeah, you're too old, right?
- 25:30Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 25:31Speaker 7: I got some frat brothers coming to my house. I'm
- 25:37Speaker 7: the second youngest one. Only one younger than me is Lee.

- 25:59Speaker 7: been friends with. Man forty six years, one of my
- 26:02Speaker 7: boys coming. We've been partner us. We've been friends man elementary, junior, high,
- 26:07Speaker 7: high school, and college since we was four.

- 26:14Speaker 7: Since we were four. We've been running together sixty four.

- 27:06Speaker 6: after her divorce, so I didn't judge her. She expects
- 27:09Speaker 6: me to come over there and watch TV and even
- 27:11Speaker 6: spend the night with her. I'm almost sixty years old
- 27:14Speaker 6: and I have my own apartment. She's very family oriented,

- 52:11Speaker 6: I know, I know.
- 52:13Speaker 7: You just don't like the way Tommy goes into the
- 52:16Speaker 7: shell when you call him stupid.
- 52:19Speaker 2: But let him go in there. When he's going to
- 52:21Speaker 2: the shell, he can't say that stupid?
- 52:23Speaker 6: What was that?
- 52:26Speaker 2: What are you going to do? He's working. I'm right
- 52:29Speaker 2: hello everyone, I'm here. I'm right here. Yeah, yeah, okay,
- 52:33Speaker 2: I'm right here. You stop doing it, stop talking over
- 52:36Speaker 2: and around me. I'm right here. You all right?
- 52:42Speaker 1: You're listening morning show.
- 52:47Speaker 6: In today's office topic. Uh, here's a question. Have you
- 52:51Speaker 6: ever been told just be yourself, just for yourself and
- 52:55Speaker 6: you'll be fine and it ended up being horrible advice
- 52:58Speaker 6: for you. Maybe it was on a day, Maybe you
- 53:01Speaker 6: were told to be yourself on your first day of
- 53:03Speaker 6: a new job. So, Steve, I gotta ask you, are
- 53:06Speaker 6: there situations that you should avoid just being yourself? When
- 53:10Speaker 6: you were comfortable enough to just be yourself in your relationship?
- 53:13Speaker 6: Or when were you comfortable enough to be just being
- 53:16Speaker 6: in your relationship?
- 53:17Speaker 1: Those are two different questions.
- 53:18Speaker 7: My first first gig on the radio in La, would
- 53:22Speaker 7: you The dude that gave me job said, man, just
- 53:26Speaker 7: be yourself. Three days later they had should said we'd
- 53:32Speaker 7: had enough laws in here being hisself. We need to
- 53:35Speaker 7: get a radio person in here to control some of this.
- 53:38Speaker 7: We need surely get in. When you did do a
- 53:42Speaker 7: time dog, I didn't do time check. I'd never announced
- 53:46Speaker 7: what station you're listening to. If you hear my voice,
- 53:51Speaker 7: ain't you listening to the station? I got to come
- 53:55Speaker 7: in and say this, Paul. You have to say the
- 53:59Speaker 7: call letters to let him know. But as you hearing
- 54:03Speaker 7: me say the call that us if your station ain't on.
- 54:06Speaker 1: This start it's probably logical to you.
- 54:11Speaker 2: But it's just checked and then and then and then
- 54:14Speaker 2: and then.
- 54:15Speaker 7: In La, the traffic, I didn't understand that it's rush hour,
- 54:19Speaker 7: the four five.
- 54:20Speaker 2: It's packed every damn date, every time at.
- 54:24Speaker 1: Two days time.
- 54:25Speaker 7: Hey, we have to go to a commercial at eighteen after.
- 54:29Speaker 7: But I'm talking though.
- 54:33Speaker 2: Yep.
- 54:34Speaker 7: They put Shirley Strawper on the radio. And when I
- 54:36Speaker 7: first met Shirley, I thought she was attractive, but I
- 54:40Speaker 7: didn't care for her because I said, like, you know,
- 54:44Speaker 7: like me, trying to tell me what to do.
- 54:46Speaker 6: Yeah, he didn't like me because he had nothing to
- 54:49Speaker 6: do with my hiring. They it's exactly true what he's saying.
- 54:53Speaker 2: No, they just put her in that. They ain't ask
- 54:55Speaker 2: me nothing.
- 54:56Speaker 6: I looked at him, asked me ya for a while
- 54:59Speaker 6: to come in and to listen to the show, to listen.
- 55:01Speaker 2: So he actually had no control over you. Let's let's
- 55:06Speaker 2: not let's just call it what it is, sir. He
- 55:08Speaker 2: had no control over you. You were hired by somebody else.
- 55:11Speaker 2: He had nothing to do with your hiring. S t
- 55:16Speaker 2: Love It, Love It.
- 55:19Speaker 1: Radio show. I said, what are you doing?
- 55:23Speaker 7: So I said, baby girl, baby girl, stop saying all
- 55:26Speaker 7: that I'm talking. She said, we have to go to break.
- 55:30Speaker 7: We're going right now.
- 55:33Speaker 1: I'm doing on your and you know what the sad
- 55:37Speaker 1: part is, not much has changed here.
- 55:40Speaker 3: We are you will do now you're works.
- 55:43Speaker 7: On time now because I understand what sponsorships.
- 55:47Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I didn't that obedient.
- 55:50Speaker 6: You fought it, you're fighting, Yeah, you still want to You.
- 55:56Speaker 8: Just say another job.
- 55:57Speaker 3: Don't see what it is.
- 55:59Speaker 2: Just be itself.
- 56:02Speaker 7: I really, you know, I lied to get all my
- 56:05Speaker 7: other job before I got into the show business. If
- 56:09Speaker 7: I'd have told the truth, I'd have never got hirt.
- 56:11Speaker 7: I couldn't beat myself. Y'all wouldn't hid me. I got
- 56:14Speaker 7: criminal record, a criminal background. I've been to court. I
- 56:18Speaker 7: don't know how many times I'm on probation. Anybody fitna
- 56:22Speaker 7: hid me?
- 56:23Speaker 2: So I lied.
- 56:25Speaker 7: I lied on all my applications. I tried to get
- 56:29Speaker 7: a job one time at a jewelry store.
- 56:34Speaker 2: What question was what kind of jewelry store?
- 56:37Speaker 6: Though?
- 56:37Speaker 2: What were we talking about at, like a jewelry store
- 56:40Speaker 2: in the mall? Yeah, something like.
- 56:43Speaker 7: It was a little little jewelry store. I just saw
- 56:46Speaker 7: some watches. I like, now I'm gonna go in here
- 56:47Speaker 7: and try to work here. And the guy was sitting
- 56:50Speaker 7: at the interview, he said, have you ever stolen anything before?
- 56:53Speaker 2: I said, like what? Yeah? But I would you know,
- 57:01Speaker 2: have you ever stole any thing?
- 57:02Speaker 7: Like like what?
- 57:02Speaker 2: Like you talked tato chips or something like that. I'm
- 57:04Speaker 2: admit to that, but that like have our stole jewelry? No,
- 57:07Speaker 2: not yet. That's that's.
- 57:11Speaker 10: So.
- 57:11Speaker 2: I was just went with the no like what he said.
- 57:14Speaker 7: Anything he said when I was little, I used to
- 57:16Speaker 7: steal potato chips and stuff.
- 57:18Speaker 8: Go okay, man, as you get the job.
- 57:21Speaker 2: Oh no, he said, Well, thank you for coming in.
- 57:24Speaker 6: All right, Well that's more of the Steve Harby Morning
- 57:27Speaker 6: Show coming up at twenty minutes after right after this.

- 57:35Speaker 2: All right.
- 57:35Speaker 6: So, guys, I don't know if you've heard, but seniors, seniors.
- 57:39Speaker 1: Are getting it in. They're having more sex. Okay.
- 57:43Speaker 6: This is according to new research that found a huge
- 57:46Speaker 6: spike in the number of sexually transmitted infections over the
- 57:49Speaker 6: past ten years and your study, which will be presented
- 57:53Speaker 6: at a medical convention in Spain next month, showed that
- 57:56Speaker 6: sti's among people over the age of fifty.
- 57:59Speaker 1: Five have doubled compared to a decade ago.
- 58:02Speaker 6: The steady blameable f yeah double uh blames this fike
- 58:07Speaker 6: on rising divorce rates, less condom you, the availability of
- 58:12Speaker 6: drugs like viagra, uh, and more older adults living together
- 58:17Speaker 6: in retirement communities, and also an increased use in dating
- 58:20Speaker 6: app So there you have it. STI rising among the
- 58:24Speaker 6: older generation. Yeah, fifty five and older.
- 58:28Speaker 7: You can make all the noises you want today change
- 58:31Speaker 7: it ain't changing nothing.
- 58:33Speaker 1: But then you talk about time these condoms though.
- 58:37Speaker 2: We're not condom man.
- 58:40Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean that's the easiest one.
- 58:42Speaker 2: Well, you already ain't got long left.
- 58:44Speaker 1: You're gonna sharp that with an STI.
- 58:48Speaker 7: Oh man, I be damn. Now you done got old
- 58:50Speaker 7: and dumb. You spend all this time trying to get here.
- 58:52Speaker 2: Now you're here.
- 58:53Speaker 3: Now you're gonna cut it shown.

- 59:14Speaker 6: around it. Would you rather?
- 59:15Speaker 1: Right after this? You're listening morning show?
- 59:20Speaker 6: All right, guys, it's time now to play a round
- 59:23Speaker 6: of would you rather? Would you rather a window seat
- 59:27Speaker 6: or an aisle seat on an airplane?
- 59:29Speaker 2: Winter? I can't stand somebody stepping over me to go
- 59:34Speaker 2: to the bathroom every five t I'm on that window.
- 59:36Speaker 10: Man.
- 59:37Speaker 2: I hate that cart coming down that ase and your
- 59:39Speaker 2: people bursting up against you when they passed back. But
- 59:43Speaker 2: you know some people don't have it. When you got
- 59:45Speaker 2: your own plane, ain't nobody passing body? You know, you
- 59:47Speaker 2: just you just on your own plan. That's why he
- 59:51Speaker 2: ain't say'll he ain gotta? Would you wrap you already
- 59:55Speaker 2: wrapdy ra?
- 59:58Speaker 6: Would you rather wear nothing but tuck toitos for a
- 1:00:01Speaker 6: whole year, tuxedos just for a whole year, or pj's
- 1:00:05Speaker 6: for a whole year?
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: Hey, tuxedar, tuscauld, you like to dress up?
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: I don't have a I don't have a pajama tuxedar.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: It don't matter because hell, I can sleep in my touchail.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: I mean Windy's drive. I'm gonna have that tux seedar
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: like they had on the love Boat with them shorts
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: with it.
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: Okay?
- 1:00:27Speaker 6: Would you rather have a faith tattoo, a face tattoo,
- 1:00:33Speaker 6: or a vampire teeth?
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: Be vampire?
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: Don't?
- 1:00:38Speaker 7: Yeah, just I'll just be a non smile and ask person.
- 1:00:42Speaker 7: But what you're not finna do is put a pair
- 1:00:44Speaker 7: of lips on my damn face. There's no tattoo. You're
- 1:00:49Speaker 7: gonna star.
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: Ain't none of this? What about that?
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: The swirling face?
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: No, I'm not, I ain't none of that Mike, if
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: Mike is it? I love it? Mike. It looks great.
- 1:01:01Speaker 8: I'm not I'm not.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: You don't. You ain't gonna put my ass on the plane?
- 1:01:05Speaker 10: I love it?
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: Mike?
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:01:08Speaker 6: Would you rather let your mate cheat? Let your mate
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: cheat for five hundred million dollars?
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: Or would you rather cheat?
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: Wait? Wait, wait, wait wait, hold up, go ahead and
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: say it again.
- 1:01:21Speaker 6: Would you rather let let your mate cheat for five
- 1:01:24Speaker 6: hundred million? Or would you rather cheat for five million?
- 1:01:28Speaker 8: Seeing I ain't got neither one?
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: No, I'm going we ain't got five or five hundred.
- 1:01:37Speaker 8: It don't really matter. Were coming up either way?
- 1:01:39Speaker 12: You rather let your mate cheat for five hundred?
- 1:01:42Speaker 8: Greg? Here, you come here?
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: You said five hundred million?
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: Five hundred million?
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: Can I say something?
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: Rather?
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: Five? Can I say something?
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: Please over me, Steve.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: I'll take the five men and do it myself because
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: I'm gonna.
- 1:02:05Speaker 8: Lose ef Ah.
- 1:02:09Speaker 10: You all right?
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: That's today's roundup? Would you rather.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: You can stay with us?
- 1:02:21Speaker 6: At forty nine minutes after the hour, We'll be back
- 1:02:24Speaker 6: with some closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: Right after this.
- 1:02:28Speaker 6: You're listening Steve Hary Morning Show. Let's break up, the
- 1:02:32Speaker 6: day been a pretty good day, interesting day, Steve. Now
- 1:02:35Speaker 6: it's time for you to drop some knowledge with our
- 1:02:37Speaker 6: closing remarks. What your hot for us today?
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: Big dog? Yeah?
- 1:02:41Speaker 7: Today, I want to remind everybody of something that gets
- 1:02:45Speaker 7: overlooked from time to time. But if you want to
- 1:02:48Speaker 7: be successful and you want to be happy, if your
- 1:02:54Speaker 7: happiness is sometimes as it often is, tied to your success,
- 1:03:00Speaker 7: and if your success, oftentimes as it is, is tied
- 1:03:05Speaker 7: to your happiness, the two kind of go hand in
- 1:03:08Speaker 7: hand almost, But now you have to be using your
- 1:03:13Speaker 7: definition of success and not somebody else's. If you're using
- 1:03:17Speaker 7: someone else's definition of success, you're never going to be happy,
- 1:03:22Speaker 7: whether they've aimed to hide for you or they've aimed
- 1:03:26Speaker 7: too low for you. If you're using somebody else's aim,
- 1:03:30Speaker 7: you're never going to be happy because those two are,
- 1:03:37Speaker 7: i'm sorry, tied together. I'm happy if i'm successful. If
- 1:03:42Speaker 7: I'm not successful, I'm not going to be happy because
- 1:03:46Speaker 7: I'm going to feel like there's something else I could
- 1:03:49Speaker 7: be doing for my family, as something else I could
- 1:03:52Speaker 7: be doing for my future. It's something else I could
- 1:03:55Speaker 7: be doing to make it work. And so my success
- 1:03:58Speaker 7: is tied to my happiness, and my happiness is tied
- 1:04:01Speaker 7: to my success. Now do I take times off from
- 1:04:05Speaker 7: all of it and just sit around and be grateful
- 1:04:08Speaker 7: and happy for where I am? Of course, all the time.
- 1:04:12Speaker 7: Gratitude is a huge part of what the principles of success.
- 1:04:15Speaker 7: That's oftentimes to overlook. Yeah, I often sit around and
- 1:04:19Speaker 7: just smell the roses, just take a breath of fresh
- 1:04:22Speaker 7: air and go mad. I'm awful grateful for where I
- 1:04:25Speaker 7: am God, not meaning that I don't want more, but
- 1:04:28Speaker 7: I oftentimes stop and thank Him for right where I am,
- 1:04:32Speaker 7: because where we are is pretty good compared to where
- 1:04:36Speaker 7: we were. But now, with all that said, let me
- 1:04:39Speaker 7: share something with you. If you want to be happy
- 1:04:42Speaker 7: and successful, you are going to have to put out
- 1:04:46Speaker 7: a massive effort.
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: Period.
- 1:04:50Speaker 7: Stop thinking it's going to happen any other way. You
- 1:04:54Speaker 7: have got to put out a massive effort.
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: You got to get it.
- 1:05:01Speaker 7: You gotta grind, you gotta want it. It's got to
- 1:05:05Speaker 7: burn a little bit on the inside of you. It's
- 1:05:08Speaker 7: gotta make you uncomfortable not being where you wanna be.
- 1:05:12Speaker 7: You got to have a I'm gonna get it attitude
- 1:05:15Speaker 7: in order for it to get God. Period, you gotta
- 1:05:18Speaker 7: have a I'm gonna get it attitude in order for
- 1:05:21Speaker 7: it to get God.
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: Period.
- 1:05:23Speaker 7: That's the deal. No substitutions, no alternatives. This ain't sugar.
- 1:05:29Speaker 7: You can't use splendor instead. This ain't sugar. This is life.
- 1:05:36Speaker 7: You have to go get it now. All no alternatives. Well,
- 1:05:39Speaker 7: you can pick some alternatives, but you're not gonna be
- 1:05:41Speaker 7: happy and successful. You got to get a little bit
- 1:05:45Speaker 7: of dog in you. I'm sorry. Everybody got to have
- 1:05:48Speaker 7: some dog in you. You gotta have some bite back,
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: you gotta have some fight. You're gonna have to have
- 1:05:54Speaker 7: a little bit of kick, and sometime the kick has
- 1:05:57Speaker 7: to come from yourself. You can't quit looking for other
- 1:06:00Speaker 7: people always give you that little kick in the rear
- 1:06:02Speaker 7: in to get you started, that little jump started in
- 1:06:05Speaker 7: the morning, to encourage you. What if they need encouraging,
- 1:06:08Speaker 7: What if they ain't get they jump start for the
- 1:06:10Speaker 7: day and you waiting on they call and they're encouraging. Word, man,
- 1:06:13Speaker 7: let me tell you something. These are people that you're
- 1:06:15Speaker 7: waiting on to help you. People fail all the time.
- 1:06:19Speaker 7: Every person needs the Lord God Almighty. So that might
- 1:06:22Speaker 7: be one of the mornings where they need him and
- 1:06:24Speaker 7: they don't have nothing for you take your faith out
- 1:06:27Speaker 7: of man, put your faith in God and get at it.
- 1:06:31Speaker 7: You and God can make it. That'd be great if
- 1:06:33Speaker 7: you had a friend along the way, of course it
- 1:06:36Speaker 7: would be. But sometimes you're in a pattern where you
- 1:06:38Speaker 7: got to learn that it ain't nobody.
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: But you and him.
- 1:06:41Speaker 7: Sometimes sometimes you just need to know it ain't nobody
- 1:06:45Speaker 7: but you and God. That really ain't a bad place
- 1:06:49Speaker 7: to be, It really ain't. I've got some of my
- 1:06:54Speaker 7: best results out of my life when I just asked
- 1:06:57Speaker 7: God for the help, when I didn't call no nobody
- 1:07:00Speaker 7: else to see what they thought about it. When I've
- 1:07:02Speaker 7: went to God, just God, I've gotten my best results.
- 1:07:06Speaker 7: I'm just gonna be honest with you. But you got
- 1:07:09Speaker 7: to get at it, though, squid. Quit expecting God to
- 1:07:13Speaker 7: just bless you with something and you ain't giving him
- 1:07:16Speaker 7: nothing to put his finger on the touch you make
- 1:07:19Speaker 7: one step, he'll make two. You got to be a
- 1:07:21Speaker 7: producer out here. You got to go out of here
- 1:07:23Speaker 7: and get out something. Quit asking God for a job
- 1:07:26Speaker 7: and you ain't putting no applications in. Stop wasting his
- 1:07:29Speaker 7: time and yours too. It's like the story the man said,
- 1:07:33Speaker 7: you know, I've been praying. I've been praying to God
- 1:07:36Speaker 7: to hit the lottery. I've just been praying to the
- 1:07:39Speaker 7: Lord to hit the lottery. One day, the man just
- 1:07:41Speaker 7: kept hearing him say that. He said, well, do you
- 1:07:43Speaker 7: play the lottery? He said, no, What kind of prayers
- 1:07:46Speaker 7: that you're praying to God to hit the lottery but
- 1:07:49Speaker 7: you're not playing the lottery?
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: What that don't make no sense.
- 1:07:54Speaker 7: If you want God to touch your life, give him
- 1:07:57Speaker 7: something to touch. An effort, put in a request, be sincere.
- 1:08:04Speaker 7: But I've decided that I'm gonna attempt so many things
- 1:08:08Speaker 7: that's within my gift and in my realm that I'm
- 1:08:12Speaker 7: gonna ask God to bless me with his grace. He
- 1:08:15Speaker 7: got something to bless. He just keeps on making stuff
- 1:08:18Speaker 7: happen for me. He just keeps on opening doors for me.
- 1:08:22Speaker 7: He just keeps on putting the right people in front
- 1:08:24Speaker 7: of me. Oh and it may look like the deal
- 1:08:26Speaker 7: ain't gonna happen, as oftentimes many of them do. But
- 1:08:29Speaker 7: at the end of the day, it always works out.
- 1:08:32Speaker 7: But man, you got to get at it, y'all. You
- 1:08:34Speaker 7: got to get off your butts and get at it.
- 1:08:37Speaker 7: Ain't nobody finna walk no checks up to you and
- 1:08:39Speaker 7: hand them to you. You got to get out here
- 1:08:41Speaker 7: and get at it. Dreams ain't nothing but dreams. Until
- 1:08:46Speaker 7: you put some work behind them, they become goals. You
- 1:08:49Speaker 7: gotta put some work behind these dreams. That's my clothing remarks. Hey,
