- 0:05Speaker 1: I'm going to tell you a story, and it's one
- 0:07Speaker 1: that is becoming all too normal. You may know the
- 0:12Speaker 1: name that I'm about to say. It's a name of
- 0:15Speaker 1: a reporter, a reporter who spent many years on Fox
- 0:18Speaker 1: and then went to CBS. This reporter, by the name
- 0:22Speaker 1: of Catherine Heritage, is a amazing reporter that actually does
- 0:27Speaker 1: real journalism.
- 0:28Speaker 2: One of the things that she did.
- 0:29Speaker 1: At CBS News was she reported often on the corruption
- 0:34Speaker 1: of the Biden crime family. All of a sudden, CBS
- 0:38Speaker 1: Nude News had some layoffs, and the layoffs happened to
- 0:43Speaker 1: hit their best reporter, their DC reporter, their political reporter,
- 0:48Speaker 1: their reporter, a true journalist that told you what was
- 0:51Speaker 1: happening when it came to corruption. Well after she got
- 0:56Speaker 1: quote laid off, because that's how you make it seem
- 0:58Speaker 1: like there's nothing faarius going on. She has now testified
- 1:04Speaker 1: that CBS News not only locked her out of the building,
- 1:09Speaker 1: but CBS News also seized all of her files and
- 1:14Speaker 1: said that she was working with sources which they then
- 1:18Speaker 1: had control of, who they were to expose government corruption.
- 1:23Speaker 1: I want to play for you what she had to say,
- 1:26Speaker 1: and again I go back to what I was saying
- 1:28Speaker 1: about Catherine a moment ago. Catherine is a journalist. She's
- 1:31Speaker 1: a journalist that is not pushing a narrative. She is
- 1:34Speaker 1: a journalist that pushes the facts. And she was exposing
- 1:39Speaker 1: the truth on the Biden crime family, Hunter Biden, the
- 1:42Speaker 1: lies of the Biden crime family, and just how involved
- 1:45Speaker 1: Joe Biden was with the family's business corruption. This is
- 1:49Speaker 1: the first time that she's been able to speak publicly
- 1:52Speaker 1: since she was locked out of the building at CBS News,
- 1:56Speaker 1: since all of her files were seized by a at
- 2:00Speaker 1: CBS stas. I'm sorry. This is what communists do, right,
- 2:02Speaker 1: this is what Marxists do. This is what socialists do.
- 2:04Speaker 1: This is what they would do when they're spying on
- 2:07Speaker 1: you in other countries like Russia or Venezuela or Cuba.
- 2:12Speaker 1: And CBS News did it to their own journalists in
- 2:16Speaker 1: the United States of America because apparently she was exposing
- 2:19Speaker 1: government corruption on the people that you're not supposed to
- 2:22Speaker 1: expose it on, right, Democrats, hard core liberals, and the
- 2:26Speaker 1: President of the United States of America. Listen to what
- 2:30Speaker 1: she had to say today.
- 2:32Speaker 3: As you know, in February, I was held in contempt
- 2:35Speaker 3: of court for refusing to disclose my confidential sources on
- 2:39Speaker 3: a national security story. I think my current situation can
- 2:42Speaker 3: help put the importance of the Press Act into context.
- 2:47Speaker 3: One of our children recently asked me if I would
- 2:49Speaker 3: go to jail, if we would lose our house, and
- 2:53Speaker 3: if we would lose our family savings to protect my
- 2:55Speaker 3: reporting sources. I wanted to answer that in this United States,
- 3:00Speaker 3: where we say we value democracy and the role of
- 3:03Speaker 3: a vibrant and free press, that it was impossible, but
- 3:06Speaker 3: I could.
- 3:07Speaker 4: Not offer that assurance.
- 3:09Speaker 3: The Bipartisan Press Act, which came out of this House Committee,
- 3:12Speaker 3: would put an end to the sort of legal jeopardy
- 3:15Speaker 3: that I have experienced firsthand in the federal courts, and
- 3:19Speaker 3: without the legislation, more journalists will run to the uncertainty
- 3:23Speaker 3: of the contempt gauntlet in the future. This legislation will
- 3:26Speaker 3: provide protections for every working journalist in the United States
- 3:31Speaker 3: now and for the next generation. The legislation provides strong
- 3:35Speaker 3: protections at the federal level for reporters and their sources.
- 3:39Speaker 3: It would block litigants and federal government from prying into
- 3:42Speaker 3: a reporter's files except when there's an imminent threat of violence,
- 3:46Speaker 3: including terrorism and in defamation cases. At the state level,
- 3:50Speaker 3: similar rules are already in place to protect press freedom.
- 3:54Speaker 3: It is my sincere hope that the passage of the
- 3:57Speaker 3: Press Act will provide similar protection at the federal level.
- 4:01Speaker 3: I hope that I am the last journalist who has
- 4:04Speaker 3: to spend two years in the federal courts fighting to
- 4:08Speaker 3: protect my confidential sources. My current situation arises from a
- 4:13Speaker 3: Privacy Act lawsuit.
- 4:15Speaker 4: I am only a witness in the case.
- 4:18Speaker 3: It is not common for these cases to reach the
- 4:20Speaker 3: stage of holding a reporter in contempt, but when such
- 4:24Speaker 3: cases happen, they have profound consequences, impacting every journalist in
- 4:29Speaker 3: the United States. Forcing a reporter to disclose confidential sources
- 4:34Speaker 3: would have a crippling effect on investigative journalism because without
- 4:39Speaker 3: reliable assurances of confidentiality, sources will.
- 4:42Speaker 4: Not come forward.
- 4:44Speaker 3: The First Amendment provides protections for the press because an
- 4:48Speaker 3: informed electorate is at the foundation of our democracy. If
- 4:52Speaker 3: con forces are not protected, I fear investigative journalism is dead.
- 4:58Speaker 3: Each day I feel the weight of that responsibility. As
- 5:03Speaker 3: you know, I was held in contempt of court for
- 5:05Speaker 3: upholding the basic journalistic principle of maintaining the pledge of
- 5:08Speaker 3: confidentiality to my sources. I have complete respect for the
- 5:12Speaker 3: federal court and the judicial process, and I'm not here
- 5:16Speaker 3: to litigate the case. It will play out before the
- 5:19Speaker 3: appellate court in Washington, d c. But the fact that
- 5:22Speaker 3: I have been fighting in the courts for two years
- 5:25Speaker 3: and that I am now facing potentially crippling fines of
- 5:29Speaker 3: eight hundred dollars a day to protect my reporting sources
- 5:33Speaker 3: underscores the vital importance of the Press Act.
- 5:37Speaker 1: I want to just pause there, and I want you
- 5:39Speaker 1: to think about what this reporter who's now again trying
- 5:45Speaker 1: to protect her sources, exposing government corruption, being locked out
- 5:50Speaker 1: of her own office by CBS News and having her
- 5:54Speaker 1: reporting file sees, and now having the threat of financial
- 5:58Speaker 1: ruin at eight hundred dollars a day day, being held
- 6:01Speaker 1: in contempt for refusing to give up her sources, which
- 6:05Speaker 1: is her right to do in a free press in America.
- 6:09Speaker 1: There is something that is happening now. We saw this
- 6:13Speaker 1: with an undercover CIA FBI guy a few days ago
- 6:17Speaker 1: talking about how, yeah, they find people, they put them
- 6:20Speaker 1: on their hit lists, and they basically try to put
- 6:22Speaker 1: them into financial ruin. We've seen this in real time
- 6:28Speaker 1: against Donald Trump. You look at President Donald Trump, and
- 6:31Speaker 1: what did the Democrats say? Okay, we're afraid we can't
- 6:35Speaker 1: beat him, so we could bankrupt him. Maybe we can
- 6:39Speaker 1: just lock him up and put him in jail. Putting
- 6:42Speaker 1: and locking up your political opponents is what Vladimir Putin does.
- 6:46Speaker 1: And then, by the way, he'll kill you if that
- 6:47Speaker 1: doesn't work. He just did it. He just killed his
- 6:51Speaker 1: opposition leader. Dictators and tyrants kill people. They lock people up,
- 6:56Speaker 1: They put them in jail to silence them, and then
- 6:59Speaker 1: they take their longings from them. Now are We're supposed
- 7:03Speaker 1: to be a free country, But based on what we're
- 7:07Speaker 1: witnessing right now, we are no longer a free country.
- 7:11Speaker 1: We are no longer a country where you have the
- 7:14Speaker 1: right to protect your witnesses. And as a as a journalist,
- 7:17Speaker 1: by the way, and I'm not let me rephrase that,
- 7:19Speaker 1: I'm not a journalist. I'm a I'm a commentator. But
- 7:23Speaker 1: I have people that come to me as a whistleblower
- 7:25Speaker 1: that I will protect and I shouldn't have to worry
- 7:29Speaker 1: that I'm going to go to jail. I shouldn't and
- 7:31Speaker 1: they shouldn't have to worry. And I want you to
- 7:33Speaker 1: also think about what messages sends two whistleblowers. You look
- 7:37Speaker 1: at the irs whistleblowers that came out against the Biden families,
- 7:41Speaker 1: and many of them were actually liberal saying what we
- 7:43Speaker 1: just witnessed with the Biden family is is total corruption
- 7:47Speaker 1: and cover up at the highest levels. Look at the
- 7:50Speaker 1: people that came forward and have exposed a sweetheart deal
- 7:53Speaker 1: of the Biden crime family which not only was going
- 7:55Speaker 1: to let Joe Biden off the hook, but it was
- 7:57Speaker 1: going to let Hunter Biden off the hook. And then
- 7:58Speaker 1: it was going to give him immunity for any future
- 8:02Speaker 1: prosecutions for any crimes that were committed by him in
- 8:05Speaker 1: the past. That deal fell apart because it was exposed
- 8:09Speaker 1: and there was a judge that was at least honest
- 8:12Speaker 1: enough to say, this is insane and no, this is
- 8:14Speaker 1: not ideal that I will accept from the federal government.
- 8:19Speaker 1: But what we are now witnessing in real time is
- 8:21Speaker 1: that if there is someone that they don't like that
- 8:23Speaker 1: they want a silence, the government can spy on you.
- 8:27Speaker 1: They can set you up or as it was described
- 8:29Speaker 1: by that undercovered person the other day, and give you
- 8:31Speaker 1: a nudge, right, They can then tie you up in litigation,
- 8:36Speaker 1: they can financially bankrupt you. And that's no different than
- 8:39Speaker 1: what this reporter, catherin Heritage is testifying. She's saying, I
- 8:44Speaker 1: was protecting my confidential sources, and now they're holding me
- 8:51Speaker 1: in contempt. And now they're saying because I was exposing
- 8:55Speaker 1: and had multiple sources that said they were concerned that
- 8:58Speaker 1: by working with me to expose corruption and misconct they
- 9:01Speaker 1: would be identified and exposed. They're also sending a message, well, hey,
- 9:05Speaker 1: don't take the risk, sources, because eventually we'll get to
- 9:10Speaker 1: you too, because we're going to get to the reporter.
- 9:14Speaker 2: There's a lot of reporters out there.
- 9:17Speaker 1: That would not stand by this hardcore like Catherine has
- 9:22Speaker 1: done to protect their witnesses. There's a lot of reporters
- 9:25Speaker 1: that wouldn't have the cojones and to stand up to
- 9:29Speaker 1: a corrupt government system. But the message now is clear,
- 9:33Speaker 1: and why I wanted you to hear what Catherine just
- 9:35Speaker 1: had to say is that in America today, the message
- 9:39Speaker 1: that's being sent now by federal prosecutors who are holding
- 9:42Speaker 1: her in contempt, who are going to be charging her
- 9:45Speaker 1: eight hundred dollars a day, is that if you are
- 9:48Speaker 1: another reporter out there, you better pay attention, right if
- 9:52Speaker 1: you're a conservative out there, so dif what they're doing
- 9:55Speaker 1: with Donald Trump, you better pay attention. How many people
- 9:58Speaker 1: can can withstand what Donald Trump has gone through? I mean,
- 10:01Speaker 1: luckily Donald Trump is a man that has money. Could
- 10:05Speaker 1: I withstand what he's gone through financially? No, I would
- 10:08Speaker 1: be in ruins a lot faster. And he was almost
- 10:10Speaker 1: in financial ruins. And they were trying to do it
- 10:11Speaker 1: and they're still trying to do it right. But the
- 10:15Speaker 1: message are sending us clear. Okay, maybe Catherine can can
- 10:18Speaker 1: stand up to us, but you can't. Little reporter in Washington,
- 10:21Speaker 1: d c. Or a little reporter in Paduca, Conduck. You're
- 10:24Speaker 1: a little reporter in Memphis, Tennessee, or a little reporter
- 10:28Speaker 1: in San Antonio, Texas, or or somewhere on the border
- 10:32Speaker 1: that's gonna expose government corruption.
- 10:34Speaker 2: At the border. You can't do it. We'll put you
- 10:37Speaker 2: in financial ruin.
- 10:38Speaker 1: And oh, by the way, here is the message to
- 10:41Speaker 1: the people that are thinking about coming forward and giving
- 10:45Speaker 1: you this information.
- 10:45Speaker 2: We're gonna find you too.
- 10:47Speaker 1: You're not really going to be silent, You're not really
- 10:53Speaker 1: going to be anonymous sources. No, no, No, we're gonna
- 10:55Speaker 1: identify you. The government's gonna identify you, and we're gonna
- 10:57Speaker 1: come after you. We're gonna expose you. We're gonna make
- 10:59Speaker 1: your life hell. So don't come out and be a
- 11:03Speaker 1: source about government corruption. Don't expose what you're saying that's
- 11:07Speaker 1: being done that is wrong, because if.
- 11:09Speaker 2: You do, we will find you.
- 11:12Speaker 1: We will come after the person you're telling, and they're
- 11:15Speaker 1: gonna roll on you and give us the files that
- 11:17Speaker 1: we need. That is what Catherine is saying happen to her,
- 11:21Speaker 1: and this is what is happening to other journalists, and
- 11:24Speaker 1: they're saying. Basically, journalists I know are saying, I can't
- 11:27Speaker 1: get people in the government to talk to me anymore
- 11:30Speaker 1: when it comes to government corruption. Now they'll leak to
- 11:33Speaker 1: me right things that won't get them in trouble, But
- 11:36Speaker 1: outside of that, they're not gonna expose government corruption. The
- 11:40Speaker 1: reason why they're not going to do it is because
- 11:42Speaker 1: it can put them in financial ruin.
- 11:44Speaker 2: And if they do right, if they do.
- 11:48Speaker 1: We're gonna know who you are anyway. We're gonna know
- 11:51Speaker 1: who you are, and we're gonna come after you no
- 11:53Speaker 1: matter what. Listen to this part of what Catherine had
- 11:55Speaker 1: to say.
- 11:56Speaker 3: When you go through major life events as I have
- 11:59Speaker 3: in recent weeks, losing your job, losing your company health insurance,
- 12:04Speaker 3: having your reporting files seized by your former employer and
- 12:08Speaker 3: being held in contempt.
- 12:10Speaker 4: Of court gives you clarity.
- 12:12Speaker 3: The First Amendment, the protection of confidential sources, and a
- 12:16Speaker 3: free press are my guiding principles.
- 12:20Speaker 4: They are my north star.
- 12:22Speaker 3: When I was laid off in February, an incident reinforced
- 12:25Speaker 3: in my mind the importance.
- 12:27Speaker 4: Of protecting confidential sources.
- 12:30Speaker 3: CBS News locked me out of the building and seized
- 12:33Speaker 3: hundreds of pages of my reporting files, including confidential source information.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Seized CBS News.
- 12:41Speaker 1: The scumbags at CBS News seized her files, her confidential sources,
- 12:47Speaker 1: locked out of the building, and sees hundreds of pages
- 12:50Speaker 1: of my reporting files, including confidential source information. All because
- 12:56Speaker 1: she was an actual journalist.
- 12:57Speaker 2: It's not a hack.
- 12:59Speaker 1: All because they wanted to make it clear that you
- 13:02Speaker 1: can't really expose the Biden crime family or any other
- 13:06Speaker 1: liberals that are corrupt in our government, because if you do,
- 13:08Speaker 1: we will fire the reporter and then we will let
- 13:11Speaker 1: the Feds know who it was you were talking to.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Imagine being one of those confidential sources that is risking
- 13:17Speaker 1: it all to expose government corruption. And then you find
- 13:20Speaker 1: out the reporter you're talking to has been fired or
- 13:23Speaker 1: let go, and all of the documents that she said
- 13:27Speaker 1: trust me now are in the hands of that corrupt organization,
- 13:32Speaker 1: CBS News, and more than likely are now in the
- 13:35Speaker 1: hands of the federal government. Well, there's a clear message now,
- 13:40Speaker 1: not only if you're a confidential source and we want
- 13:43Speaker 1: to find out who you are, we'll just go after
- 13:45Speaker 1: the reporter and force them in a submission. Now she
- 13:48Speaker 1: is facing fines of eight hundred dollars a day for
- 13:51Speaker 1: contempt of court charges against her for not giving up
- 13:54Speaker 1: her sources. But now we found out what happened with
- 13:56Speaker 1: CBS News, We now know the meanists broadcasting network. CBS
- 14:03Speaker 1: News locked her out of the building, seized all of
- 14:06Speaker 1: her files, and said that she was working with sources
- 14:09Speaker 1: to expose government corruption. Much of that corruption was the
- 14:12Speaker 1: Biden crime family. CBS News' decision to seize my reporting
- 14:16Speaker 1: records crossed a red line, she said that she believed
- 14:19Speaker 1: should never be crossed by any media organization. But guess
- 14:22Speaker 1: what now, if you're a confidential source, are you going
- 14:26Speaker 1: to take the risk and listen to the last thing.
- 14:29Speaker 2: She says.
- 14:31Speaker 3: The litigation and being held in contempt have taken a
- 14:33Speaker 3: tool on me and my career.
- 14:36Speaker 4: This is not a battle you can fight alone.
- 14:39Speaker 3: I am grateful for the support of fellow journalists and
- 14:42Speaker 3: multiple First Amendment organizations, including the Reporter's Committee for Press Freedom,
- 14:48Speaker 3: the Freedom of the Press Foundation, the Coalition for Women
- 14:52Speaker 3: in Journalism, the Night First Amendment Institute, the Society of
- 14:56Speaker 3: Professional Journalists, as well as the Columbia Journalism School, of
- 15:00Speaker 3: which I am a graduate. I have also been fortunate
- 15:03Speaker 3: to have the support from my former employer as I
- 15:06Speaker 3: continue to fight this case.
- 15:08Speaker 4: Not many journalists could count on a former.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Employer, in this case, Fox News, to support a costly
- 15:14Speaker 3: and vigorous defense of the First Amendment. That is why
- 15:17Speaker 3: the Press Act comes at the right time, when independent
- 15:20Speaker 3: journalism and news platforms are expanding opportunities for reporting diverse
- 15:26Speaker 3: voices that strengthen our democracy. I know I joined many
- 15:30Speaker 3: journalists who are encouraged by the recent comments of the
- 15:33Speaker 3: Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, who said he hopes to
- 15:36Speaker 3: have the legislation through the Senate and on the President's desk.
- 15:39Speaker 4: This year.
- 15:40Speaker 3: I deeply appreciate the committee's commitment to this legislation and
- 15:45Speaker 3: holding this public hearing.
- 15:47Speaker 1: You look at what she's done, and I want to
- 15:49Speaker 1: be clear, this woman is amazing. But how many other
- 15:52Speaker 1: journalists don't have what she has a former employer and
- 15:56Speaker 1: Fox News channel that will stand by you in this
- 15:59Speaker 1: case that she's involved in now that could bankrupt her.
- 16:03Speaker 1: And how many journalists don't have all those organizations, including
- 16:06Speaker 1: journalism schools that will stand behind you because you've been
- 16:09Speaker 1: such a rock star reporter for decades. And then what
- 16:14Speaker 1: reporter out there now is going to ever trust trust
- 16:16Speaker 1: CBS News ever again? I think what we now know
- 16:20Speaker 1: and I think it's pretty clear, is it. Catherine Herriage
- 16:25Speaker 1: is an individual that was brave enough to do her
- 16:30Speaker 1: job the right way. But if you're at CBS News now,
- 16:36Speaker 1: are you going to be as brave as her?
- 16:37Speaker 5: No?
- 16:37Speaker 1: Because CBS News sent a very clear message, we don't
- 16:42Speaker 1: do journalism here. We do propaganda here. We are a
- 16:48Speaker 1: machine of the state. CBS News is state media who's
- 16:52Speaker 1: ever in charge on the left and the government. That's
- 16:58Speaker 1: what we report on, That's who we report two. CBS
- 17:02Speaker 1: News doesn't do journalism journalism is and I've been saying
- 17:05Speaker 1: this for a long time, and people say to me, oh,
- 17:07Speaker 1: show me proof that there is bias media, right, that
- 17:10Speaker 1: there's a bias media out there, and we want to
- 17:12Speaker 1: see the.
- 17:13Speaker 2: Proof of that. Show me the proof. Here's the proof, folks.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Another example example nine five hundred and fifty three in
- 17:22Speaker 1: the last year of bias in the media. This is
- 17:25Speaker 1: the bias in the media. This is what happens when
- 17:30Speaker 1: it comes to bias in the media. And what CBS
- 17:34Speaker 1: News has said is, Hey, we work for the Democratic Party.
- 17:37Speaker 1: We are state media of the Biden and if you
- 17:41Speaker 1: call us and you tell us that we've got a
- 17:43Speaker 1: reporter that we need to get rid of, we'll get
- 17:44Speaker 1: rid of them.
- 17:45Speaker 2: And if you need their.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Files to find out who's leaking and who's talking inside
- 17:49Speaker 1: the government, we'll get those for you too. That is
- 17:53Speaker 1: CBS News seizing er files. This is something that would
- 17:59Speaker 1: have been on a mass.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Five years ago.
- 18:03Speaker 1: But when Donald Trump broke Washington and when he broke
- 18:07Speaker 1: the media in twenty sixteen, these are the repercussions for that. Okay,
- 18:13Speaker 1: these are the repercussions for exactly that. This is the
- 18:19Speaker 1: fallout of Joe Biden or I should say if Donald Trump,
- 18:24Speaker 1: excuse me, winning in sixteen, Donald Trump broke the media,
- 18:29Speaker 1: Donald Trump broke the deep state, and now they're fighting
- 18:33Speaker 1: back like never before. And this is how they're doing it.
- 18:36Speaker 1: She had her stuff locked up and they said you're
- 18:39Speaker 1: out of here, and she wasn't allowed to take her
- 18:42Speaker 1: stuff with her, and then they rummaged through her stuff.
- 18:44Speaker 1: I mean, if I do my show in a studio
- 18:47Speaker 1: and I have my locker and my stuff's locked up
- 18:52Speaker 1: and then they have access to it, doesn't matter. I mean,
- 18:56Speaker 1: this goes back to ethics and journalism like CBS News,
- 19:00Speaker 1: and what they just did is corruption at the highest level,
- 19:04Speaker 1: seizing her files and then and then rummaging through her
- 19:08Speaker 1: reporting and finding out who she was talking to, and
- 19:10Speaker 1: god knows who else they gave all.
- 19:12Speaker 2: That information to. This is not her fault.
- 19:16Speaker 1: There's also a lot of information that's on a laptop, right,
- 19:19Speaker 1: I mean, are on your computer that is locked. But
- 19:22Speaker 1: if they own that computer, they see they can seize
- 19:25Speaker 1: that as well. And again this is about intimidation, saying
- 19:31Speaker 1: to every journalists out there, hey, don't do a really
- 19:34Speaker 1: good job, just do an average job. Don't don't push
- 19:39Speaker 1: too many buttons. Okay, just just just push one or
- 19:43Speaker 1: two buttons, just kind of tell the stories. And if
- 19:47Speaker 1: there's something that's smaller, little, then you can do that, Okay,
- 19:52Speaker 1: But but don't really go all in.
- 19:56Speaker 2: And whatever you.
- 19:56Speaker 1: Do, don't challenge the most powerful areas or leaders in
- 20:03Speaker 1: our government if they are Democrats. That is the message
- 20:07Speaker 1: that CBS News just sent. And they sent not just
- 20:11Speaker 1: that message, but a message to every other journalist. Imagine
- 20:15Speaker 1: if you're an independent journalist. Imagine if you're like a
- 20:17Speaker 1: small journalist. Imagine if you're an up and coming journalist
- 20:20Speaker 1: at an organization. Now, can you imagine how many stories
- 20:24Speaker 1: are going to be silenced because of what just happened
- 20:26Speaker 1: at CBS News. Because what they're gonna say is if
- 20:30Speaker 1: I if I'm risking my livelihood to basically be a whistleblower,
- 20:36Speaker 1: or I'm risking my career by helping you expose what
- 20:41Speaker 1: I'm witnessing. Okay, and CBS News will do this to
- 20:47Speaker 1: their top political reporter. What are the chances tomorrow I'm
- 20:51Speaker 1: gonna give this story to someone that's that's a lot smaller,
- 20:54Speaker 1: slim to none. Yes, Well, and that was the betfort
- 20:59Speaker 1: of us not having computers back then because everything was
- 21:02Speaker 1: on paper. Look, I think you can certainly go back
- 21:06Speaker 1: to that if that, but I don't think that fixes
- 21:08Speaker 1: the problem. And there's also the other thing is right now,
- 21:13Speaker 1: how much is the government just flat out spying on
- 21:16Speaker 1: people when they want to know what they're doing. There
- 21:17Speaker 1: doesn't seem to be any repercussions for spying. Are listening
- 21:21Speaker 1: in or wire tapping or doing anything to any person
- 21:24Speaker 1: now that you want to get intel out of the
- 21:26Speaker 1: government is no longer of the people for the people,
- 21:30Speaker 1: by the people. It is a government that is now
- 21:32Speaker 1: taking over. I've said this on the show before and
- 21:35Speaker 1: I'll say it again. Listen to me when I tell
- 21:37Speaker 1: you this. The Democratic Party is dead. They are no
- 21:42Speaker 1: longer a democratic party. They are Marxists, they are socialists,
- 21:47Speaker 1: and they are communists, and they are masquer rating Okay,
- 21:52Speaker 1: they are masquerating around as Democrats. They are no longer democrats.
- 21:59Speaker 1: They are Marxist, they are socialists, they are communists, and
- 22:05Speaker 1: they are not here to help you. They are Marxist,
- 22:09Speaker 1: they are socialists, they are communists, and they want a
- 22:12Speaker 1: government that controls the press the same way it does
- 22:16Speaker 1: in Russia or Cuba.
- 22:18Speaker 2: Or Venezuela or.
- 22:19Speaker 1: China, and they want a KGB force in America, which
- 22:23Speaker 1: is what they've created with a deep state that is
- 22:26Speaker 1: constantly reminding the public and the workers of the government,
- 22:31Speaker 1: you better be quiet and do what we tell you
- 22:33Speaker 1: to do, and if you don't, we'll come after you.
- 22:35Speaker 1: And hell, we're so powerful now, we'll even lock up
- 22:39Speaker 1: a former president of the United States of America and
- 22:41Speaker 1: Donald Trump. And if you think you can withstand financially
- 22:45Speaker 1: what it's going to cost to defend yourself, well, hey,
- 22:48Speaker 1: look at Donald Trump. We've almost taken everything from him.
- 22:52Speaker 1: That's the message, do you I mean, I'll say one
- 22:55Speaker 1: last thing about this, Donald Trump. Do you understand he
- 22:58Speaker 1: was hours away from and being in financial ruin because
- 23:03Speaker 1: of a corrupt system in New York. He was literally
- 23:07Speaker 1: hours away from having his property seized from him in
- 23:12Speaker 1: the most incredible display of government corruption that I've seen
- 23:18Speaker 1: in my entire lifetime, where they were like, we are
- 23:22Speaker 1: just going to take everything from you all because you're
- 23:25Speaker 1: running for president and we're afraid we can't beat you
- 23:28Speaker 1: on election day, so we're going to destroy your life.
- 23:35Speaker 1: We are going to destroy everything that you've done, and
- 23:41Speaker 1: we're going to take it all from you. That is
- 23:44Speaker 1: what our federal government and that is what our state
- 23:46Speaker 1: governments are now saying to anyone that is powerful or
- 23:49Speaker 1: strong and standing up for democracy, standing up for freedom
- 23:53Speaker 1: of speech, standing up for freedom expression, standing up for
- 23:55Speaker 1: First and Second Amendment rights.
- 23:57Speaker 2: And if you're a journalist and you get.
- 23:59Speaker 1: A phone call and it's from somebody high up in
- 24:02Speaker 1: our government that says, I need to tell you about corruption,
- 24:05Speaker 1: and I need to know that you're gonna protect me
- 24:07Speaker 1: no matter what. The days of Woodward and Bernstein are over.
- 24:10Speaker 1: They will seize your files, and the government will come
- 24:13Speaker 1: in and they will find out who you are, and
- 24:15Speaker 1: then they will come after you and they may even
- 24:17Speaker 1: lock you up. And oh, by the way, journalists, we'll
- 24:21Speaker 1: cost you eight.
- 24:22Speaker 2: Hundred dollars a day in contempt.
- 24:25Speaker 1: If you don't give us what we tell you, which
- 24:26Speaker 1: is give us your source, and then we'll maybe get
- 24:29Speaker 1: you fired or quote laid off. Now I go back
- 24:34Speaker 1: to what I said about Donald Trump and what Donald
- 24:37Speaker 1: Trump went through and what he's going through. Now, this
- 24:41Speaker 1: is a game plan, and it's one of it full
- 24:43Speaker 1: blown intimidation.
- 24:45Speaker 2: This is what, by the way, they did with a
- 24:47Speaker 2: lot of.
- 24:47Speaker 1: People that were in and around January the sixth who
- 24:50Speaker 1: were not insurrectionists. Okay, there was people I could watch
- 24:55Speaker 1: them and see them on video that cross the line.
- 24:58Speaker 1: There are people that attack lawn Horsement on January the sixth,
- 25:01Speaker 1: and they should be held accountable for what they did.
- 25:06Speaker 1: They should be held accountable. But there was a lot
- 25:09Speaker 1: of peaceful protesters that were there. And you have the
- 25:12Speaker 1: right to protest in a free country. But we're not
- 25:14Speaker 1: a free country anymore. And that's also the signal that
- 25:17Speaker 1: our deep state and our government is sending to us.
- 25:19Speaker 1: If we don't like you, if you get out of line,
- 25:22Speaker 1: if you say too much, if you do too much,
- 25:24Speaker 1: we are then going to come after you. Let me
- 25:28Speaker 1: give you another example of the corruption that I'm talking about.
- 25:32Speaker 2: It has nothing to.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Do with with with with with Catherine and CBS News
- 25:36Speaker 1: or even Donald Trump. But did you see what Vice
- 25:39Speaker 1: President Kamala Harris said about the new ATF rule forcing
- 25:44Speaker 1: background checks on private gun sales.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Did you see this?
- 25:47Speaker 1: She's excited because this is another example of the deep state.
- 25:50Speaker 1: This is another example of government total control. Listen to
- 25:52Speaker 1: what she said at the White House Office.
- 25:54Speaker 6: Hey, everybody, so as the head of the White House
- 25:57Speaker 6: Office of Gun Violence Prevention. I'm very i to tell
- 26:00Speaker 6: you that as of today, we are closing the gun
- 26:03Speaker 6: show loophole. Basically, we are requiring that anybody who sells
- 26:07Speaker 6: guns as a dealer has to do background checks. And
- 26:11Speaker 6: what we know this is going to save lives. So
- 26:14Speaker 6: it's an important step forward. We got more to do.
- 26:16Speaker 6: We need to pass an assault weapons ban, we need
- 26:19Speaker 6: red flag laws and universal background checks.
- 26:22Speaker 5: But good news to report today.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Take care, good news to report today.
- 26:27Speaker 1: By the way, I'm one of those that's warned about
- 26:29Speaker 1: the slippery slope, you know, the slippery slope where you
- 26:32Speaker 1: give an inch and they'll take a mile. You notice
- 26:36Speaker 1: how fast the slippery slope here became reality, Like, hey,
- 26:39Speaker 1: we just want to let you know, is the woman
- 26:41Speaker 1: who's taking away America's guns. Were getting even better at this,
- 26:45Speaker 1: We're getting closer to accomplishing this. We are excited at
- 26:49Speaker 1: this new ATIF rule forcing background checks some private gun sales.
- 26:52Speaker 1: So I'm very excited to tell you that today we
- 26:54Speaker 1: are closing the gun show loophole, as she describes it.
- 26:57Speaker 2: And then says, don't worry now, what's next?
- 26:59Speaker 1: Right, slippery slope We're gonna go after those assault were rifles.
- 27:04Speaker 2: That's what we're gonna do next.
- 27:06Speaker 1: Hey, we're so excited to tell you these assault rifles
- 27:08Speaker 1: they're coming next, folks were coming for you. I never
- 27:11Speaker 1: thought I would see a day in America where I
- 27:15Speaker 1: would watch my rights be taken away so quickly. And
- 27:22Speaker 1: there's so many people that are just sitting on their
- 27:26Speaker 1: aas's doing nothing about it.
- 27:30Speaker 2: And the tests for this was COVID.
- 27:36Speaker 1: There was a certain point where the lockdowns weren't about
- 27:39Speaker 1: not knowing what to do or the fear of the unknown.
- 27:42Speaker 1: It was about what can we get away with and
- 27:44Speaker 1: how far can we take people's freedoms and rights. It
- 27:48Speaker 1: was a test case and what we can get away with?
- 27:50Speaker 1: And what they realized was the government realized at all
- 27:54Speaker 1: different levels, the government realized and the corrupt people in
- 28:02Speaker 1: our government realize there are so many Americans that are
- 28:06Speaker 1: just so stupid, that are so obsessed with staring into
- 28:11Speaker 1: their cell phones and not paying attention to what's happening
- 28:16Speaker 1: around them and not caring that their rights are being.
- 28:21Speaker 2: Just absolutely destroyed.
- 28:24Speaker 1: There are so many people that are just put their
- 28:29Speaker 1: heads in the sand and are incredibly incompetent, that are
- 28:34Speaker 1: incredibly stupid, and that don't care that their rights are
- 28:39Speaker 1: being taken away from them, that they can get away
- 28:41Speaker 1: with doing the things that they're now getting away with.
- 28:45Speaker 2: I go back to COVID. I warned you of this.
- 28:49Speaker 1: There was a certain moment during COVID and the lockdowns
- 28:51Speaker 1: that was not about your safety. It was about will
- 28:55Speaker 1: they say no to this? Remember when they told you
- 28:58Speaker 1: couldn't go to church, and they were like, oh my gosh, guys.
- 29:02Speaker 2: We can. We can control these people with everything. Rememberhen
- 29:09Speaker 2: they told you, let's try this.
- 29:11Speaker 1: So we're gonna tell people they gotta shut down their
- 29:12Speaker 1: businesses and go bankrupt.
- 29:15Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 29:15Speaker 1: The people didn't even fight back when we told them
- 29:17Speaker 1: that we're gonna shut down their businesses.
- 29:19Speaker 2: They're gonna go bankrupt. This is amazing. What else can
- 29:23Speaker 2: we get away with?
- 29:24Speaker 1: Can we tell them that their kids can't get an education?
- 29:29Speaker 2: Guys? We just told people that they could.
- 29:32Speaker 1: No longer educate their children in school, and they went
- 29:36Speaker 1: along with it.
- 29:37Speaker 2: All right.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Now we're gonna tell people they got to stand six
- 29:39Speaker 1: feet apart from one another. Let's see if that works.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, they'll do that too. They'll stand six
- 29:45Speaker 1: feet apart. Then we'll tell them they can't eat out
- 29:48Speaker 1: at restaurants, and let's see if we.
- 29:49Speaker 2: Can get away with that. Oh my gosh, we got
- 29:51Speaker 2: away with that too.
- 29:53Speaker 1: Then we'll tell people that they can't even sit with
- 29:55Speaker 1: their family members, they don't live in the same household
- 29:57Speaker 1: while they're out eating at thirty percent an occupancy in
- 30:01Speaker 1: a restaurant where they must put their mask on in
- 30:03Speaker 1: between SIPs, in between bites, and they'll do that too.
- 30:09Speaker 1: What they figured out was that the American people right now,
- 30:12Speaker 1: we live in such a in a world where so
- 30:15Speaker 1: many people are so selfish that they're willing to just
- 30:19Speaker 1: stare at their phone and be hypnotized by technology and
- 30:24Speaker 1: just saying Okay, I mean, hey, I've got my phone,
- 30:27Speaker 1: I've got I've got Instagram, I've got Facebook, I've got Twitter.
- 30:30Speaker 1: I'm on my phone. I'm not talking to people anymore.
- 30:32Speaker 1: I'm not having conversations with one another. Oh wait, you're
- 30:36Speaker 1: here to raid my house. Okay, Well I've got nothing
- 30:38Speaker 1: to hide, so it's so big deal raid my house?
- 30:40Speaker 1: Oh you wanna you wanna okay, wait, you want to
- 30:42Speaker 1: take my guns away from me? Okay, well that's fine.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Like I mean, I okay, do that too. You want
- 30:47Speaker 1: to take away my business? Oh okay, you can take
- 30:49Speaker 1: away my business. Oh wait, you're trying to lock up
- 30:51Speaker 1: the president of the United States in America.
- 30:53Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 30:53Speaker 1: I'm in my phone. They understand that we live in
- 30:57Speaker 1: a society now where we are so stupid, we are
- 31:00Speaker 1: so distracted by TikTok in Instagram and x and everything else,
- 31:06Speaker 1: that we are so wrapped up in these in the
- 31:08Speaker 1: in these meaningless memes of life, that no one is
- 31:12Speaker 1: noticing except for a few of us that listen to
- 31:17Speaker 1: this show and that actually understand what's happening. That we
- 31:19Speaker 1: are giving away, that we're not giving away. They're taking
- 31:22Speaker 1: away every one of our basic constitutional rights, and they're
- 31:25Speaker 1: doing it right before our very eyes, and no one
- 31:28Speaker 1: seems to care. Can you imagine what this country would
- 31:32Speaker 1: have done if Woodward and Bernstein would have been let
- 31:36Speaker 1: go by the Washington Posts.
- 31:40Speaker 2: Can you imagine?
- 31:42Speaker 1: Can you imagine if they would have been fired in
- 31:44Speaker 1: their files would have been seized, or when the Pentagon
- 31:46Speaker 1: papers were going down, if they're if the files would
- 31:49Speaker 1: have been seized and the sources would have been exposed
- 31:55Speaker 1: can you imagine what would have happened if we had
- 31:59Speaker 1: a deep state that have turned I will go back
- 32:02Speaker 1: to something else that's interesting that that was mentioned recently,
- 32:06Speaker 1: Like there's real evidence and and questions that should be
- 32:10Speaker 1: asked about what our government did getting rid of JFK.
- 32:14Speaker 1: And and there was like a lot of evidence that
- 32:15Speaker 1: came out not that long ago, and no one seemed
- 32:19Speaker 1: to care that it seems that the government may have
- 32:22Speaker 1: been involved in in his assassination. Like where are the
- 32:28Speaker 1: big articles being written on that? Where's the big investigations
- 32:33Speaker 1: in that?
- 32:33Speaker 2: Like RK.
- 32:35Speaker 1: I'll give him credit, like he's brought that up. He's
- 32:37Speaker 1: a conspiracy theorist guy in general. But when you look
- 32:39Speaker 1: at some of those issues, you're like, what, like, are
- 32:42Speaker 1: are we just going to sit here with our heads
- 32:45Speaker 1: in the sand until we wake up one day and
- 32:47Speaker 1: we don't own our houses anymore? There's no such thing
- 32:52Speaker 1: as property rights, there's no such thing as constitutional rights.
- 32:57Speaker 1: There's no such thing as a second Amendment anymore, there's
- 32:59Speaker 1: no such thing as first Amendment anymore. There's no such
- 33:01Speaker 1: thing as is journalism anymore? Like, are we gonna wake
- 33:07Speaker 1: up one day and witness what will that moment be
- 33:14Speaker 1: like where we can lock up anybody for any reason,
- 33:17Speaker 1: we can bankrupt them, the government can come in and
- 33:19Speaker 1: quote nudge you in a certain direction, and all this happens,
- 33:24Speaker 1: and everybody's fine with it because apparently that's now where
- 33:29Speaker 1: we are, and it's happening at the highest levels in
- 33:33Speaker 1: front of us, and there doesn't seem to be genuine and.
- 33:37Speaker 2: Real, authentic outrage.
- 33:40Speaker 1: And not only are they doing it, they're doing it
- 33:42Speaker 1: with videos at the White House, Kama Harris, you know,
- 33:45Speaker 1: celebrating the ATIP rule forcing background checks, right, she says,
- 33:48Speaker 1: And I guess what the assault weapons ban is next? Like,
- 33:51Speaker 1: we're not done there, there's a slippery slip. We're coming after.
- 33:54Speaker 6: Them background checks and what we know this is gonna
- 33:57Speaker 6: save lives.
- 33:58Speaker 5: So it's an important step forward. We got more to do.
- 34:01Speaker 6: We need to pass an assault weapons van, we need
- 34:03Speaker 6: red flag laws and universal background checks.
- 34:06Speaker 5: But good news to report today. Take care.
- 34:09Speaker 2: I love how they say it's gonna save lives.
- 34:10Speaker 1: You notice that's their mantra now for anything they want
- 34:13Speaker 1: to do to take away your rights. Hey, you gotta
- 34:15Speaker 1: stand six f A part. It's gonna save lives. Hey,
- 34:18Speaker 1: you gotta get the Jab, it's gonna save lives. Hey,
- 34:21Speaker 1: you gotta shut down your business. It's gonna save lives. Hey,
- 34:24Speaker 1: you gotta not.
- 34:24Speaker 2: Worship God at church.
- 34:26Speaker 1: You gotta and and gather where two or more together
- 34:29Speaker 1: gonna save lives. Meanwhile, we demand that you give us
- 34:33Speaker 1: all your money so it can go to Ukraine and
- 34:34Speaker 1: the corruption in Ukraine, because that's the war we're in
- 34:37Speaker 1: favor of. Oh, and we got to turn our back
- 34:39Speaker 1: on on the Jews in Israel. And and somehow the
- 34:44Speaker 1: terrorists who killed all the innocent Jews that were caught
- 34:47Speaker 1: on video that was celebrated by the left, we'll defend them.
- 34:51Speaker 1: Now we have congresswomen at events where they're chanting death
- 34:54Speaker 1: to America.
- 34:54Speaker 2: I don't know if you saw that.
- 34:55Speaker 1: With it was it Rashid to lead this week where
- 34:58Speaker 1: they're at our event and they're they're chanting death to America.
- 35:01Speaker 1: And she was asked by Today, She's like, oh, this
- 35:03Speaker 1: is just corruption at Fox News. I don't answer Fox
- 35:05Speaker 1: News's questions when they asked me about me not condemning
- 35:09Speaker 1: at my own event people chanting death to America.
- 35:14Speaker 2: No, we don't, we don't. We don't talk about that.
- 35:17Speaker 1: I don't answer questions of Fox News because no one
- 35:21Speaker 1: else in the government seems to be asking that question. No,
- 35:25Speaker 1: no one else in the government or I should say,
- 35:28Speaker 1: in the media. Let me rephrase that is asking that question.
- 35:32Speaker 1: Where where's CBS News walking up to Rashid to leave,
- 35:34Speaker 1: going Hey, just gotta I gotta ask you a question.
- 35:38Speaker 1: You had people that's supporting you at your event chanting
- 35:40Speaker 1: death to America like that, that's something that we might
- 35:43Speaker 1: want to talk about. Nah, we don't talk about that.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Why would we talk about that?
- 35:49Speaker 2: Why?
- 35:49Speaker 1: Why on earth would we would we talk about that?
- 35:53Speaker 1: There's no reason to bring that up. Make sure you
