- 0:00Speaker 1: Fraud has become a major headline, especially when it deals
- 0:04Speaker 1: with the Affordable Care Act, which we now know is
- 0:07Speaker 1: anything but affordable. And now we're finding out more about
- 0:11Speaker 1: your tax dollars going to insurance programs companies, and in
- 0:17Speaker 1: fact the beneficiaries don't even know it's even giving them coverage.
- 0:22Speaker 1: I want to take you backwards to where we learned
- 0:25Speaker 1: a lot of this from the GOA fraud investigation. The
- 0:28Speaker 1: Government Accountability Office, used by Republicans of the centerpiece of
- 0:33Speaker 1: their new expose A has found significant fraud vulnerabilities in
- 0:39Speaker 1: how the ACA, the Affordable Care Act marketplace processes enrollment
- 0:44Speaker 1: and taxpayer subsidies. Some of the key findings are truly shocking.
- 0:50Speaker 1: The GOA created fictitious applicants with fake or invalid social
- 0:54Speaker 1: Security numbers, and the ACA marketplace still approved them for subsidies,
- 0:59Speaker 1: and in fact, nearly all of the fake applicants were accepted.
- 1:05Speaker 1: The report found instances of duplicate and repeated subcy payments
- 1:10Speaker 1: tied to the same social security numbers, including one social
- 1:14Speaker 1: Security number appearing on many separate policies, and that suggested
- 1:19Speaker 1: poor verification systems.
- 1:21Speaker 2: In other words, the insurance companies.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Know that they're going to get paid for people that
- 1:27Speaker 1: don't deserve the coverage, But who cares if you're getting paid.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Tens of thousands of subcy payments also were connected to
- 1:36Speaker 1: deceased individuals as well. That's right, your tax dollar is
- 1:40Speaker 1: going to dead people. And what better client for these
- 1:44Speaker 1: big insurance comings than someone that's literally dead. You don't
- 1:48Speaker 1: have to worry about any claims at all. It's free money,
- 1:51Speaker 1: all because of fraud. We also now know that the
- 1:56Speaker 1: payments were going to brokers. Brokers were able to enroll
- 2:00Speaker 1: a lot of people and switch plans on half of
- 2:03Speaker 1: people without clear verification procedures.
- 2:06Speaker 2: What does that mean?
- 2:07Speaker 1: Big incentives for them, Commissions going for each person they
- 2:12Speaker 1: were signing up, including multiple people under the same Social
- 2:15Speaker 1: Security number, or dead people all together. The estimates are
- 2:20Speaker 1: also rising. Republicans are now suggesting billions, not hundreds of millions,
- 2:26Speaker 1: but billions in improper payments annually, including potentially twenty seven
- 2:33Speaker 1: billion they're now saying in inproper subsidy payments, though exact
- 2:38Speaker 1: figures are hard to find. Why because there's so much
- 2:43Speaker 1: fraud now, Republicans are now demanding that the system be
- 2:49Speaker 1: changed because it is filled with systemic fraud, waste, and
- 2:53Speaker 1: abuse in the ACA marketplace known as Obamacare. It's costing
- 2:58Speaker 1: taxpayers and then driving up dreemiums for legitimate human beings
- 3:02Speaker 1: that aren't dead, legitimate enrollees. And that is where John
- 3:07Speaker 1: Thune comes in center. Thoom, the Democrat from South Dakota,
- 3:12Speaker 1: and other GOP leaders are now citing the GOA findings
- 3:16Speaker 1: as a justification for opposing the extension of the Affordable
- 3:20Speaker 1: Care Act and the premium tax credits without structural reforms.

- 5:02Speaker 2: Right now, here's.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Senater Thune talking about Obamacare and just how broken this
- 5:08Speaker 1: system is perception.
- 5:10Speaker 3: A little over a decade ago, premiums have gone up
- 5:12Speaker 3: two hundred and twenty one percent.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Here's what you said last time we talked.
- 5:16Speaker 3: End of September. The premium tax credit issue is something
- 5:19Speaker 3: we're willing to have a conversation about. But the fact
- 5:22Speaker 3: of the matter is it is rife with waste, fraud,
- 5:25Speaker 3: and abuse. It needs reforms. But you're willing to work
- 5:28Speaker 3: on this issue in particular. Yeah, I mean, part of
- 5:30Speaker 3: this is that the base Obamacare program is not going
- 5:33Speaker 3: to be affected. What's going to be affected is the
- 5:36Speaker 3: enhancements that the Democrats added when they had the majorities.
- 5:40Speaker 3: But we're willing to have that conversation.
- 5:41Speaker 2: But you got to do that.
- 5:43Speaker 3: You know, you can't do that in the context of
- 5:45Speaker 3: a hostage taking situation. Did they win the hostage taking situation?
- 5:50Speaker 4: As far as the politics here, because there's a lot
- 5:52Speaker 4: of people that are going to see their healthcare premiums skyrock.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Yeah, and there in that marketplace, which represents about self
- 6:00Speaker 3: percent of the American people who get their insurance through
- 6:02Speaker 3: the Obamacare exchanges, particularly those that are above the four
- 6:06Speaker 3: hundred percent poverty level, which is where the Biden COVID
- 6:10Speaker 3: bonus is kicked in. Yeah, there's seeing some increase. Now,
- 6:13Speaker 3: there are other things they can do, they can shift
- 6:14Speaker 3: around at different markets, but the fact of the matter
- 6:17Speaker 3: is We're open to fixing and addressing this, but you've
- 6:20Speaker 3: got to do it in a way bread that actually
- 6:23Speaker 3: solves the problem and lowers costs if you stay on
- 6:26Speaker 3: this path right now with all the waste, fraud and abuse.
- 6:28Speaker 3: The same thing is true today that I said last September,
- 6:30Speaker 3: and that is that there are no income caps, there
- 6:32Speaker 3: are zero dollar premiums. There are literally millions of people
- 6:35Speaker 3: in the exchange. You don't even know they're covered because
- 6:37Speaker 3: the payments go directly from the federal government to the
- 6:40Speaker 3: insurance companies, and so people are automatically they're auto or
- 6:44Speaker 3: rolled by the insurance companies. And there's no accountability in
- 6:47Speaker 3: this program. And the Government Accountability Office justted and audited
- 6:50Speaker 3: this program and of the twenty fake claims they submitted,
- 6:54Speaker 3: nineteen of them got approved. That's a ninety five percent
- 6:57Speaker 3: failure rate. So it's got to be reformed and we're
- 7:00Speaker 3: open to that, and if the Democrats want to work
- 7:03Speaker 3: with us, we won't get it done before the Christmas holiday,
- 7:06Speaker 3: but when we come back in January. There are discussions
- 7:08Speaker 3: that are going on right now. We have folks who
- 7:10Speaker 3: are interested in fixing it.
- 7:12Speaker 1: There seems to be real momentum now by Republicans because
- 7:16Speaker 1: of this amount of fraud that they should oppose the
- 7:20Speaker 1: extensions of the ACA and the premium tax credits because
- 7:24Speaker 1: there needs to be reformed. The insufficient fraud protections in
- 7:29Speaker 1: the Democratic proposals is also a major problem. Democrats don't
- 7:33Speaker 1: want to fix this problem because they're biggest donors, which
- 7:37Speaker 1: is the healthcare industry. The health insurance companies are giving
- 7:41Speaker 1: them millions and millions of dollars in campaign donations, and
- 7:47Speaker 1: that's exactly why Democrats are doing this right now now.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Pressuring Democrats to include verification and anti fraud measures in
- 7:55Speaker 1: these subsidy extensions is something Republicans need to date. Senaer
- 8:01Speaker 1: Thune and other Senate Republicans have framed the debate as quote,
- 8:05Speaker 1: you can't extend subsidies without fixing fraud and integrity issues first.
- 8:11Speaker 1: They want legitimate legislative language requiring stricter eligibility checks and
- 8:17Speaker 1: stronger fraud deterrence mechanisms before supporting further funding.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Now.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Here's also with the House Speaker Mike Johnson had to
- 8:27Speaker 1: say about this on CNBC of.
- 8:30Speaker 5: The COVID Era enhanced subsidy, the premium tax credit has
- 8:34Speaker 5: been a big issue around here of debate for months now.
- 8:37Speaker 5: We knew that we were coming to the end of
- 8:39Speaker 5: the year when it would expire. And remember, the Democrats
- 8:42Speaker 5: created this COVID era subsidy. They are the ones that
- 8:45Speaker 5: put the expiration date on it. And now they're turning
- 8:48Speaker 5: to Republicans as if we should we should save that
- 8:51Speaker 5: in some way, we couldn't find consensus on it with
- 8:54Speaker 5: the body in order to pass it. Here's the reason
- 8:57Speaker 5: everybody needs to understand. There's a false narrative out there
- 9:00Speaker 5: about these these subsidies. It's subsidized in insurance companies, and
- 9:03Speaker 5: when you do that, you're masking the costs, the rising
- 9:06Speaker 5: cost of healthcare, and you're rising making the premiums rise
- 9:09Speaker 5: even further.
- 9:10Speaker 2: But here's here's the false narrative.
- 9:12Speaker 5: The Democrats are pretending as though this affects everybody in
- 9:15Speaker 5: the country. It affects seven percent of Americans this extended subsidy.
- 9:20Speaker 5: And of those, even if it was extended without any
- 9:23Speaker 5: reforms at all, it would only reduce that small group
- 9:26Speaker 5: of Americans premiums by five point seven percent.
- 9:29Speaker 6: The Democrats are twenty two to four million Americans. No,
- 9:33Speaker 6: I understand that this is not for everybody, but it's
- 9:35Speaker 6: twenty two to twenty four million Americans, and there are
- 9:39Speaker 6: Republican some Republican Republicans whose districts are going to face
- 9:44Speaker 6: some real trouble and some real issues with us. We've
- 9:46Speaker 6: talked to some of them. I understand that Michael Awler
- 9:50Speaker 6: from New York was particularly upset yesterday that he was
- 9:53Speaker 6: kind of furious about it. Said, it's idiotic, it's political malpractice.
- 9:58Speaker 6: That's what he told Axio some of this. They said
- 10:00Speaker 6: they could hear him yelling from outside the room yesterday
- 10:03Speaker 6: where all of you were meeting.
- 10:04Speaker 5: Well, no, no, I was in that room with him,
- 10:06Speaker 5: and Mike Lauler is one of my close friends. In fact,
- 10:08Speaker 5: I was with him in his district in New York
- 10:10Speaker 5: City just two weeks ago, campaigning for a couple of days,
- 10:13Speaker 5: raising him money and helping him get reelected. He's an
- 10:15Speaker 5: essential member of our conference and a really smart guy.
- 10:18Speaker 5: And what he was arguing for is this seven percent
- 10:21Speaker 5: of Americans. But here's the point. What we're going to
- 10:23Speaker 5: do today is the first of multiple steps to help
- 10:26Speaker 5: not just seven percent of Americans, but one hundred percent
- 10:29Speaker 5: of Americans reduce their premiums, actually reduce their premiums, not
- 10:33Speaker 5: subsidized insurance companies to raise the premiums, but reduce them.
- 10:37Speaker 5: And the first of those votes is today. This is
- 10:39Speaker 5: the Lower Premiums for All Americans Act we're going to
- 10:41Speaker 5: have on the floor, and it's going to actually achieve
- 10:44Speaker 5: if it's signed in a law, exactly what we're saying.
- 10:47Speaker 5: It has many components. Among them are the cost sharing
- 10:50Speaker 5: reduction programs, which will reduce all premiums across the board
- 10:53Speaker 5: by at least eleven percent and by the way, save
- 10:55Speaker 5: taxpayers tens of billions of dollars. We have the help
- 11:01Speaker 5: Association Health plans that will be a part of this today,
- 11:03Speaker 5: which will give more flexibility to small businesses and others,
- 11:06Speaker 5: and insurance in the marketplace. You've got PBM transparency as
- 11:10Speaker 5: a part of this, and the choice accounts, so there'll
- 11:13Speaker 5: be a lot more flexibility in the system. Consumers will
- 11:16Speaker 5: be able to have more choices and their cost will
- 11:18Speaker 5: go down. Will also increase access to care through these reforms,
- 11:23Speaker 5: and again this is just the first of many. We're
- 11:25Speaker 5: going to do more of this in the first quarter
- 11:27Speaker 5: of next year. Republicans are the ones who will fix healthcare.
- 11:31Speaker 5: It is the Democrats who broke it.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Republicans will fix healthcare, and Democrats are the ones who
- 11:37Speaker 1: broke it. Operation Overlord the D Day Beaches. You and
- 11:42Speaker 1: I share a passion for history, so I hope you'll

- 12:33Speaker 1: You'll have the option to receive a one time auto
- 12:36Speaker 1: dialed text message from my Heartmedia. It is a major
- 12:41Speaker 1: move from the Trump administration that we all should be celebrating.
- 12:46Speaker 1: RFK Junior has announced actions finally some sanity against transgender
- 12:53Speaker 1: procedures being done on children. As RFK Junior put it,
- 12:58Speaker 1: it is not medicine. It is mal practice, and there's
- 13:03Speaker 1: many who are getting rich off of this mauch practice.
- 13:07Speaker 1: The Trump administration is taking six decisive actions against transgender
- 13:13Speaker 1: procedures on children, Health and Human Services Secretary announced on Thursday.
- 13:18Speaker 1: According to the press release detailing the actions, HHS is
- 13:22Speaker 1: aiming to carry out President Donald Trump's executive order directing
- 13:27Speaker 1: HHS to in the practice of sex rejecting procedures on
- 13:32Speaker 1: children that expose young people to irreversible harm quote unquote,
- 13:39Speaker 1: the doctors assume a solemn obligation to protect children. Doctors
- 13:44Speaker 1: across the country now provide needless and irreversible sex rejecting
- 13:50Speaker 1: procedures that violate their sacred hippocratic oath, endangering the very
- 13:56Speaker 1: lives that they are sworn to safeguard, Kennedy said during
- 13:59Speaker 1: the announcement. He went on to say more, and I
- 14:03Speaker 1: want you to listen to what he had to say.
- 14:05Speaker 4: Doctors assume a solemn obligation to protect children. At doctors
- 14:09Speaker 4: across the country now provide needless and irreversible sex rejecting
- 14:14Speaker 4: procedures that violate their sacred hypocratical oaths and dangering the
- 14:19Speaker 4: very lives that they are sworn to safeguard. The American
- 14:23Speaker 4: Medical Association the American Academy of Pediatrics battled the lie
- 14:29Speaker 4: that chemical and surgical sex rejecting procedures could be good
- 14:33Speaker 4: for children who suffer from gender to ysphoria. They betrayed
- 14:38Speaker 4: the estimated three hundred thousand American youths ages thirteen to
- 14:42Speaker 4: seventeen conditioned to believe that sex can be changed. They
- 14:47Speaker 4: betray their hippocratic oath to do no harm. So called
- 14:50Speaker 4: gender affirming care has inflicted lasting physical and psychological damage
- 14:55Speaker 4: on vulnerable young people. This is not medicine, it is
- 15:00Speaker 4: is malpractice. We're done with junk science driven by ideological pursuits,
- 15:07Speaker 4: not the well being of children. A beer reviewed report
- 15:11Speaker 4: published by the HHS Office of the Assistant Secretary for
- 15:15Speaker 4: Health last month confirms that sex rejecting procedures imposed medical
- 15:21Speaker 4: dangers and lasting harm on children who receive these interventions.
- 15:26Speaker 4: So today we are taking six decisive actions guided by
- 15:31Speaker 4: gold standard science and the week one executive order from
- 15:35Speaker 4: President Trump to protect children from chemical and surgical mutilation.
- 15:41Speaker 4: This morning, I signed a declaration sex rejecting procedures are
- 15:45Speaker 4: neither safe nor effective treatment for children with genderness.
- 15:49Speaker 1: For you, it's really sad that it took this long
- 15:53Speaker 1: for us to get back on track with the insanity
- 15:56Speaker 1: of the medical community and the radical laugh that have
- 15:59Speaker 1: been forcing this for years and ruining young people's lives.
- 16:03Speaker 2: I love the fact that the RFK.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Junior said, quote, We're done with junk science driven by
- 16:08Speaker 1: ideological pursuits, not the well being of children. A peer
- 16:12Speaker 1: reviewed report published by the HS Office of the Assistant
- 16:16Speaker 1: Secretary of Health last month confirmed that sexual rejecting procedures
- 16:22Speaker 1: impose major medical dangers and lasting harm on children who
- 16:27Speaker 1: receive these interventions. These six decisive actions, guided by what
- 16:32Speaker 1: he described as the gold standard of science, as well
- 16:36Speaker 1: as the executive order from the present, is about one thing,
- 16:40Speaker 1: protecting children from chemical and surgical manipulation. The Centers for
- 16:47Speaker 1: Medical and Medicaid Services will release a notice by the
- 16:51Speaker 1: way of proposed rulemaking to bar hospitals from performing sex
- 16:55Speaker 1: rejecting procedures on children under the age of eighteen, as
- 16:59Speaker 1: it can condition a participation of Medicare and Medicaid programs.
- 17:04Speaker 1: Nearly all US hospitals participate in Medicare and Medicaid, and
- 17:08Speaker 1: this action is designed to ensure that the US government
- 17:10Speaker 1: will not be in the business with organizations that intentionally
- 17:15Speaker 1: or unintentionally inflict permanent harm on children. The CMS is
- 17:20Speaker 1: proposing this rolemaking pursuant to its long standing authority, and
- 17:25Speaker 1: they say it is the Social Security Act as well,
- 17:28Speaker 1: which authorize the agency to establish standards necessary to protect
- 17:32Speaker 1: patient health and safety and Medicare and Medicaid participating hospitals.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Now to Health and Human Services Secretary Kennedy Junior today
- 17:40Speaker 1: signing this declaration based on the peer review report finding
- 17:44Speaker 1: that the procedures do not meet professionally recognize standards of
- 17:49Speaker 1: health care, and under the declaration, practitioners who perform sex
- 17:53Speaker 1: rejecting procedures on minors would be deemed out of compliance
- 17:58Speaker 1: with these standards. The CMS administrator, doctor Oz, in a statement,
- 18:03Speaker 1: said this children deserve our protection, not experimental interventions performed
- 18:10Speaker 1: on them that carry life altering risks with no reliable
- 18:14Speaker 1: evidence of benefit. This proposal, he went on to say,
- 18:18Speaker 1: seeks to clarify that hospitals participating in our program cannot
- 18:23Speaker 1: conduct these unproven procedures on children. CMS will ensure that
- 18:30Speaker 1: federal program standards reflect our responsibility to promote the health
- 18:35Speaker 1: and safety of children. The press release also notes that
- 18:38Speaker 1: the AHHS is working to reverse the Biden administration's attempt
- 18:43Speaker 1: to include gender dysphoria within the definition of a disability.
- 18:50Speaker 1: That's the loophole. This all represents a drastic change, by
- 18:54Speaker 1: the way, from the Biden administration, which actually had Rachel Levine,
- 18:59Speaker 1: a man who believes he is a woman, serve as
- 19:02Speaker 1: the Assistant Secretary for Health while advocating for transgender procedures
- 19:06Speaker 1: on children. For example, Levin said quote, it only takes
- 19:10Speaker 1: one supportive adult to increase a queer young person's quality
- 19:15Speaker 1: of life and reduce the risk of self harm. It
- 19:18Speaker 1: can be a parent or family member, but it may
- 19:20Speaker 1: not be It can be a doctor, coach, or other
- 19:23Speaker 1: supportive figure, even if they don't work in healthcare, asserting
- 19:28Speaker 1: that transgender procedures, or as the Left calls them, gender
- 19:32Speaker 1: affirming care, are medically necessary, safe, and effective for transgendered
- 19:37Speaker 1: to non binary youth and adults. That is literally the
- 19:40Speaker 1: policy of the Biden administration. It is again shocking that
- 19:46Speaker 1: it took us this long to get back to sanity.
- 19:48Speaker 1: He also went on to claim in the same speech,
- 19:52Speaker 1: those who attack our LGBTQ plus community are driven by
- 19:57Speaker 1: an agenda that has nothing to do with science and
- 19:59Speaker 1: medic which brings me to one final point. How did
- 20:03Speaker 1: we get to this? It's real simple, follow the money.
- 20:08Speaker 1: A perfect example is Vanderbilt University. They were making millions
- 20:13Speaker 1: of dollars and basically looking at children and his cash
- 20:16Speaker 1: cows because they know that once you start the process,
- 20:20Speaker 1: the treatments and the drugs never stop, because you're trying
- 20:24Speaker 1: to fake your body into believing it's the opposite sex
- 20:27Speaker 1: of what it actually is. And what did Vanderbilt University
- 20:30Speaker 1: do And how bad did they want to get these
- 20:32Speaker 1: kids and take all their money for the rest of
- 20:35Speaker 1: their lives when all Vanderbilt had what they described as
- 20:39Speaker 1: gender affirming care and a Buddy system to normalize their treatment.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Take a listen to the trans Buddy program coordinator who
- 20:49Speaker 1: is on tape.
- 20:51Speaker 7: My name is Sean Riley, and I'm the program coordinator
- 20:53Speaker 7: for Transbuddy at the Program for LGBTQ Health at Vanderbilt University.
- 20:58Speaker 7: Transbuddy provides gained peer advocates for transgender patients who are
- 21:02Speaker 7: coming for doctor's appointments.
- 21:04Speaker 8: Or other healthcare related services.
- 21:06Speaker 7: Whether you're looking for something that's related to medical transition,
- 21:09Speaker 7: such as formone therapy, or something completely unrelated like breaking
- 21:12Speaker 7: an arm or going to an ant, we are here
- 21:15Speaker 7: to help support any transgender patients that come through our doors.
- 21:19Speaker 7: The Transputty program was organically created through the efforts of
- 21:22Speaker 7: transgender people and continues to consistently be led by trans
- 21:26Speaker 7: people in Middle Tennessee. Transputty program is one of a
- 21:29Speaker 7: kind in the nation, and institutions are looking to Vanderbilt
- 21:32Speaker 7: to replicate and expand programs like ours.
- 21:34Speaker 8: We're not seeking to find solutions often for people's problems.
- 21:38Speaker 8: We're just seeking to be there into a company and
- 21:40Speaker 8: to be a friendly face and to be a non
- 21:45Speaker 8: medical face in a place where everybody coming in the
- 21:49Speaker 8: room is going to be a health care provider and
- 21:53Speaker 8: may be unsafe.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Nothing says healthcare like playing Lulla By music for children
- 22:00Speaker 1: while trying to recruit them. Vanderbilt also said the time
- 22:04Speaker 1: that they had some individuals who started gender affirming hormones
- 22:07Speaker 1: at thirteen.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Why because they can make millions.
- 22:11Speaker 1: So here we are another example of the President of
- 22:14Speaker 1: the United States of America working with his administration to
- 22:17Speaker 1: protect our children from the radicals at Vanderbilt University and
- 22:23Speaker 1: other universities claiming a healthcare when really it's all about
- 22:28Speaker 1: making money.
- 22:30Speaker 2: Could it be that the media and.
- 22:32Speaker 1: The Democrats got it wrong yet again on the economy.
- 22:37Speaker 1: The same people that try to convince you that there
- 22:40Speaker 1: was no such thing as Biden inflation, and instead they
- 22:44Speaker 1: wanted you to believe that the economy was incredible shape
- 22:47Speaker 1: when Joe Biden was in office. Well, once Donald Trump
- 22:50Speaker 1: got elected, they want you to believe everything is terrible.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Well guess what, now there's more data show they're just
- 22:55Speaker 1: a bunch of liars. And this time it was bigger
- 22:58Speaker 1: than even conservative could have imagined. There was a sharp
- 23:03Speaker 1: and honestly an unexpected tumble, not a decline, but a
- 23:08Speaker 1: tumble in inflation to two point seven percent is more
- 23:13Speaker 1: than just positive data point. It's a clear rebuke of
- 23:17Speaker 1: the economic pessimism pushed by critics of President Donald Trump.
- 23:21Speaker 1: It's also a powerful validation of Trump policies that administration
- 23:27Speaker 1: has been advancing, saying, trust me, it's going to work.
- 23:31Speaker 1: The White House was absolutely right. For months, economists and
- 23:35Speaker 1: political opponents of Donald Trump have worn that Trump's aggressive
- 23:39Speaker 1: economic agenda, including the tariffs that have brought in record
- 23:43Speaker 1: dollars to the US, the energy expansion, deregulation, and pressure
- 23:49Speaker 1: on global trade partners, would fuel, as they described it, inflation. Instead,
- 23:57Speaker 1: the opposite has happened. Inflation not only did it not spike,
- 24:01Speaker 1: it fell in a major way, and it fell faster
- 24:04Speaker 1: than anyone, including those at the White House, were even
- 24:08Speaker 1: willing to mention, much less claim it was going to
- 24:11Speaker 1: become a reality. Energy dominance is doing exactly by the way,
- 24:16Speaker 1: what Donald Trump said it was going to do. One
- 24:19Speaker 1: of the biggest drivers behind the falling inflation is energy prices,
- 24:23Speaker 1: and this is where Trump's policies are having an outsized impact.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Under Trump, federal barriers to domestic oil and gas production
- 24:32Speaker 1: have been rolled back, leasing and drilling approvals have accelerated.
- 24:37Speaker 1: The administration signaled clearly that America would return to energy
- 24:41Speaker 1: independence and even a bigger way than it did when
- 24:44Speaker 1: he was in office the first time. That confidence alone
- 24:48Speaker 1: stabilized the markets, and then when supply expectations rise, prices fall,
- 24:54Speaker 1: not just at the pump, but across the entire economy,
- 24:57Speaker 1: which is exactly what we are now witness having a
- 25:00Speaker 1: huge impact on inflation. Lower energy costs, reduced transportation expenses,
- 25:06Speaker 1: manufacturing input costs, and grocery distribution prices. All of that
- 25:13Speaker 1: good for the economy. As President Trump said on the
- 25:16Speaker 1: campaign trail, energy and the price touches everything. Trump understood
- 25:22Speaker 1: that from day one, and inflation numbers are now proving
- 25:26Speaker 1: him to be exactly right. We also know that the
- 25:29Speaker 1: media and the Democrats lied to you about the tariffs.
- 25:34Speaker 1: They said over and over and over again, the tariffs
- 25:38Speaker 1: were going to cause massive inflation. They said that shelves
- 25:42Speaker 1: would be empty at places like Target, Walmart, Costco, and
- 25:46Speaker 1: Sam's Club. That also never happened. One of the loudest
- 25:50Speaker 1: criticisms of President Trump's economic strategy was by the left
- 25:54Speaker 1: of the media, and they said the tariffs would not
- 25:56Speaker 1: only raise consumer prices, but there would be mass of
- 26:00Speaker 1: supply chain issues. They then said that would make inflation
- 26:04Speaker 1: skyrocket even more. That argument has also now flat out collapsed.
- 26:10Speaker 1: What actually happened is this, the tariffs pressured foreign producers
- 26:15Speaker 1: to actually absorb the costs that did not get passed
- 26:18Speaker 1: on to Americans. The way that the left tried to
- 26:21Speaker 1: claim supply chains adjusted instead of breaking again, no empty
- 26:27Speaker 1: shelves and no backlogs of basic necessities that Americans need.
- 26:32Speaker 1: That was also a lie. It also had another huge impact.
- 26:36Speaker 1: American manufacturing expanded rapidly, reducing the reliance on volatile foreign inputs,
- 26:43Speaker 1: something the President said was a part of us having
- 26:46Speaker 1: security and safety literally on a national security forefront. Instead
- 26:51Speaker 1: of inflation spiraling upwards, which the left in the media
- 26:55Speaker 1: said was a guaranteed thing, prices stabilized and markets recalibrated.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Trump's tariffs weren't random, they were targeted leverage, forcing fairness
- 27:08Speaker 1: and restoring balance. Inflation falling to two point seven percent
- 27:13Speaker 1: shows that smart trade and enforcement doesn't punish the consumers,
- 27:18Speaker 1: it actually protects them. And then the issue of deregulation,
- 27:23Speaker 1: that is something that I had a huge impact on
- 27:25Speaker 1: the numbers we're witnessing right now. Deregulation reduced hidden inflation
- 27:30Speaker 1: and Americans have never been able to see the receipts
- 27:33Speaker 1: before until Trump got into office. Inflation isn't just about
- 27:38Speaker 1: sticker prices. It's also about compliance costs, regulatory delays, and
- 27:44Speaker 1: bureaucratic drag from a government that just got way too big.
- 27:49Speaker 1: Trump administration said, Hey, we're going to cut thousands of
- 27:52Speaker 1: pages of federal regulations. We're going to reduce permitting delays.
- 27:57Speaker 1: We're going to lowered compliance costs for small and medium
- 28:00Speaker 1: sized businesses with something else they said was vitally important.
- 28:04Speaker 1: And when businesses spend less money navigating Washington, that's when
- 28:09Speaker 1: you get what we're witnessing right now. Products that are
- 28:12Speaker 1: fast the market. They end up hiring.
- 28:14Speaker 2: More people and they keep prices lower.
- 28:18Speaker 1: This invisible inflation, as the White House described it, rarely
- 28:22Speaker 1: makes headlines, but removing it has a real, end measured effect.
- 28:27Speaker 1: The two point seven percent inflation figure reflects those savings
- 28:32Speaker 1: working their way through the economy, and then it comes
- 28:35Speaker 1: down to confidence has returned to the marketplace and the
- 28:39Speaker 1: markets have actually responded. Inflation is also psychological. When consumers
- 28:44Speaker 1: and businesses believe prices will rise, they behave in ways
- 28:48Speaker 1: that make it happen well. Trump's leadership clearly restored economic confidence.
- 28:53Speaker 1: Businesses began investing again, consumers stopped panic buying, markets adjusted
- 29:01Speaker 1: expectations downwards. That confidence reduces volatility, and volatility is a
- 29:07Speaker 1: major inflation driver. Washington elites expected chaos, the markets and
- 29:14Speaker 1: the people saw clarity and they understood the rules of
- 29:17Speaker 1: the game because of a president that was transparent, which
- 29:21Speaker 1: brings us to fiscal discipline, and that was reassuring itself
- 29:25Speaker 1: to the American people. A renewed emphasis on fiscal restraint
- 29:30Speaker 1: of our government DOGE was a large part of that. Again,
- 29:33Speaker 1: made people feel more confident in their government. Trump is
- 29:37Speaker 1: consistently pushed for cutting wasteful spending, targeted bloated bureaucracies, and
- 29:42Speaker 1: challenged runaway federal programs. Even the signal of restraint matters.
- 29:48Speaker 1: When investors and lenders believe government spending will be controlled,
- 29:52Speaker 1: inflation expectations drop, which is exactly what we're seeing now.
- 29:56Speaker 1: All of this has turned into one thing. Now it
- 30:00Speaker 1: showing in the real numbers. So what is the massive
- 30:03Speaker 1: takeaway from this? This is a gigantic win for every American,
- 30:08Speaker 1: especially lower and middle class American families. The drop in
- 30:13Speaker 1: inflation to two point seven percent didn't happen by accident,
- 30:17Speaker 1: and it didn't happen despite Donald Trump's policies. It happened
- 30:22Speaker 1: because of Donald Trump's policies. Energy dominance lowered costs, economy
- 30:27Speaker 1: wide tariffs restored balance without triggering price spikes. Deregulation reduced
- 30:33Speaker 1: hidden inflation, confidence, return to the markets, fiscal discipline, signal stability.
- 30:40Speaker 1: The so called experts yet again predicted disaster. The data
- 30:44Speaker 1: delivered a reality check to them. So this inflation report
- 30:48Speaker 1: isn't just good news. It's proof that Trump's economic playbook
- 30:52Speaker 1: works even under intense political and global pressure. Thank goodness,
- 30:58Speaker 1: we have a present that's willing to stay the course
- 31:01Speaker 1: and not chase an approval rating number. And now what
- 31:04Speaker 1: we're witnessing is the real effects of what Trump's economy
- 31:08Speaker 1: is at the end of his first year. And now
- 31:11Speaker 1: you know what to expect moving into twenty twenty six.
