- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time? I
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million buck things in it stubing good to other. Please,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join Jo. You gotta use that turn be
- 1:05Speaker 1: hurting you are? You gotta turn to turn them out,
- 1:42Speaker 1: turn you love, got to turn them out, to turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: turn the water the water go. Come come on your
- 1:59Speaker 1: back now, h I sure will a good morning everybody.
- 2:06Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice, come on dig me now,
- 2:09Speaker 1: one and only. It is Steve Harvey. Yeah, I got
- 2:14Speaker 1: a radio show. Okay, this is timely for everybody. I'm
- 2:20Speaker 1: sure I want to offer you all or some encouragement
- 2:28Speaker 1: because everybody needed. Let me tell you something. You strike
- 2:35Speaker 1: out on your goals, you strike out on your aspirations,
- 2:40Speaker 1: and so you strike out, as it happens to all
- 2:44Speaker 1: of us. Here it comes life. Life just hits one
- 2:51Speaker 1: of them bad notes as it always does, as it
- 2:55Speaker 1: always does for all of us, for everybody. Now, when
- 3:02Speaker 1: those bad notes happen, when the haters come out of nowhere,
- 3:07Speaker 1: when the setback comes up, when when the out of
- 3:11Speaker 1: nowhere appears, when I didn't see that coming comes, Here's
- 3:17Speaker 1: here's what you have to do. Here is the thing
- 3:20Speaker 1: that I have been teaching myself for years that I
- 3:26Speaker 1: used to not always understand, so I'm trying to give
- 3:30Speaker 1: it to you. You have to be encouraged anyway. Now
- 3:36Speaker 1: that's difficult, Okay, Steve, what you're talking about? You just
- 3:39Speaker 1: told me all this discouraging stuff that can happen, and
- 3:43Speaker 1: you said you got to be encouraged anyway. Yeah, man,
- 3:48Speaker 1: you have to because what's happening to you right now,
- 3:54Speaker 1: the thing that you're going through right now, the thing
- 3:56Speaker 1: that everybody's going through right now. Ain't nobody on smooth sailing. Man.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Everybody got something and if they if they don't smooth sailing,
- 4:05Speaker 1: just notice is coming. There's nothing I'm wishing on anybody.
- 4:09Speaker 1: It's just that this is life. This is how it
- 4:12Speaker 1: happens everybody, So please stop stop getting on the old
- 4:16Speaker 1: woe is Me bandwagon? Old Lord? Why met old Lord?
- 4:19Speaker 1: Something always happened to me, something always happens to everybody.
- 4:26Speaker 1: But here's what you got to do. When you get
- 4:28Speaker 1: in moments like this, you got to be encouraged. You
- 4:31Speaker 1: got to remember in those times, in those times when
- 4:36Speaker 1: it's going wrong, you got to remember all that you've
- 4:40Speaker 1: been through. You got to remember all that you've come through.
- 4:48Speaker 1: You have to remember those other times when you felt
- 4:51Speaker 1: like this, and somehow, unexplainably you don't even really stop
- 4:56Speaker 1: to say nothing about it. It just changed for you.
- 5:00Speaker 1: And the problem that was is no more. And the
- 5:04Speaker 1: situation that seems so insurmountable, you got over it, You
- 5:10Speaker 1: got around it, you got over it. Sometimes you just
- 5:14Speaker 1: got to slide right under it. Sometimes you got to
- 5:19Speaker 1: plow through it. But in those times when it's discouraging
- 5:25Speaker 1: for you, when you feel like giving up, those are
- 5:29Speaker 1: the test. Those are the moments that will determine whether
- 5:36Speaker 1: we make it or not. I'll tell you one thing
- 5:39Speaker 1: for sure. If you give up in these moments, right
- 5:42Speaker 1: here here is a foreshow you'll never make it. That
- 5:47Speaker 1: that's that's unquestionably the deal. If you give up in
- 5:52Speaker 1: these dark times, if you give up in these what
- 5:56Speaker 1: you think is insurmountable moments, if you turn turn back
- 6:00Speaker 1: now here is the one thousand percent for shure you
- 6:04Speaker 1: ain't gonna make it. But there's a bright side to
- 6:08Speaker 1: this situation. If you keep your head down, if you
- 6:14Speaker 1: keep forging, if you keep pressing on. Sometimes if you
- 6:19Speaker 1: just stand there and sometimes get knocked to your knees.
- 6:22Speaker 1: But if you stay in that place, if you just
- 6:26Speaker 1: stay there and ride the storm out, my head is
- 6:29Speaker 1: bloodied but unbowed. If you can just stay there, if
- 6:37Speaker 1: you consider in that moment and ride it out, you
- 6:44Speaker 1: will win. You will pass the test, and you will
- 6:48Speaker 1: get to move on to the next level. But there
- 6:51Speaker 1: is no next level without a test. You can't get
- 6:55Speaker 1: to grade six without passing grade five. You can't be
- 7:00Speaker 1: a senior without first being a junior. You can't graduate
- 7:06Speaker 1: without fulfilling the hours and requirements. You see, I don't
- 7:10Speaker 1: care what you do in life. Look at it. It's
- 7:13Speaker 1: all set up on levels. W You've got to accomplish
- 7:17Speaker 1: the thing before in order to get to the next level.
- 7:21Speaker 1: And when you've made those level accomplishments, you get to graduate.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Now you can go on and get the masters in
- 7:26Speaker 1: a PhD. You can go on and become rich, you
- 7:29Speaker 1: can go become wealthy, or you can go or you
- 7:32Speaker 1: can go somewhere and think yourself in another set of circumstances.
- 7:36Speaker 1: But you got to go through something to get to something.
- 7:39Speaker 1: There ain't nothing free. So you can stop that notion
- 7:42Speaker 1: about being successful. That is easy. Come on, man, if
- 7:46Speaker 1: it was easy, what we are, what we're talking about,
- 7:50Speaker 1: It is not easy. Stop thinking it is. It is difficult.
- 7:55Speaker 1: But I'll tell you what's even more difficult than becoming successful.
- 8:00Speaker 1: You want to know what that is, Try not being
- 8:03Speaker 1: successful your whole life. That's hard. You are listening to
- 8:08Speaker 1: a person who has done them both been successful and
- 8:14Speaker 1: really really been not successful. And I got news for you.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Both of them hard. But I would rather deal with
- 8:23Speaker 1: what it is to be something, to make something out
- 8:26Speaker 1: of myself, to force myself to go to work when
- 8:28Speaker 1: I don't feel like it. This morning was a rough
- 8:31Speaker 1: get up for me, but I got up and I
- 8:34Speaker 1: said thank you anyway. Never give up. And I don't
- 8:37Speaker 1: watch this dude too. He even mess around a guy
- 8:39Speaker 1: close to me because he just never gave up. You
- 8:43Speaker 1: can never ever give up. Never. It's not an option.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Giving up cannot be an option for you. You cannot
- 8:52Speaker 1: do that. It's out of the question. It's ain't conceivable
- 8:57Speaker 1: in your mind to quit because to quit as to
- 9:00Speaker 1: what what you get when you quit? Nothing? That is
- 9:05Speaker 1: a reward for those who hang in there, who never
- 9:08Speaker 1: give up, who forged through, who see it through, who
- 9:12Speaker 1: get knocked down and get back up. Who gets trampled
- 9:15Speaker 1: but somehow gathers themselves and get back to your knees.
- 9:19Speaker 1: But stay in that place, man, don't ever give up.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Don't let go be encouraged. Think of all you've been through,
- 9:25Speaker 1: Think of all you come through. Think of all He's
- 9:28Speaker 1: done for you. Think of all the times you thought
- 9:30Speaker 1: you wasn't gonna make it, but somehow, without you ever
- 9:33Speaker 1: even saying thank you, he got through. He got you
- 9:35Speaker 1: through it. Anyway. That's that thing called grace. Now we
- 9:38Speaker 1: kind of need that in our life. All I need
- 9:42Speaker 1: is a little more grace. You can't give God no
- 9:46Speaker 1: money for grace, man. Grace is absolutely free. It's available
- 9:50Speaker 1: to everybody, but you can't get none if you quit.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Don't give up. I'll just tell you that flat out.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Don't ever give up. You're listening show. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:04Speaker 1: Welcome to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Two one, two three.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Try Jesus, not me, because I throw hands. Try Jesus.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Please don't try me. Because I find that's my new
- 10:39Speaker 1: theme song. I will be using that to the year
- 10:44Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. Yeah, that's my theme soho to twenty

- 11:19Speaker 1: the part about it. I'm still accepting gifts. Don't just

- 19:03Speaker 1: so I leave. You're not posting to leave and come back,
- 19:06Speaker 1: but I does. Though, where do you why you want
- 19:09Speaker 1: to do well? Like y'all dressed up? Ask the mainners
- 19:12Speaker 1: man and I go down like I'm going down in
- 19:14Speaker 1: the ballroom and get a bucket. I just walked my
- 19:16Speaker 1: ass off and I leave my missionary off. It in
- 19:22Speaker 1: the basement next to the furnace, and when I come
- 19:25Speaker 1: back in and out, I put it on there. Don't
- 19:26Speaker 1: know where I've been there. I tell him about down
- 19:28Speaker 1: stairs praising it. He were you wearing your masks? Though? Right,

- 19:39Speaker 1: me without a mask. Yes, MANO, I had a fine
- 19:43Speaker 1: man came up to me the other day, loud Jesus.
- 19:47Speaker 1: I just had to back up. He didn't have no
- 19:49Speaker 1: mask on. He was on the other side of the hedges,
- 19:54Speaker 1: and I couldn't see when he came around. I didn't
- 19:56Speaker 1: want him know where he had a walk up. You're
- 19:59Speaker 1: gonna do walk? I thought he was cool away he
- 20:02Speaker 1: was sliding back. He came running, and I said, this
- 20:06Speaker 1: fool is hanging o't a walker rolling? I knew your
- 20:12Speaker 1: man got both his hands free. Yeah. Oh, listen, Sister
- 20:17Speaker 1: Odell is always a pleasure having you come by. We're
- 20:20Speaker 1: gonna have to get out of here now, though, because
- 20:21Speaker 1: we gotta make way, you know, for the nephew to
- 20:24Speaker 1: run that prank back. Remember that. Yeah, yes man, we
- 20:28Speaker 1: still have prankie yesterday, yes man, because some people missed
- 20:33Speaker 1: it and they don't get a chance to hear it.
- 20:35Speaker 1: So yeah, listen, that's what's coming up next. Run that
- 20:39Speaker 1: prank back with the nephew. Right after this, you're listening
- 20:42Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the top
- 20:45Speaker 1: of the hour, Today's National news and an entertainment news.
- 20:49Speaker 1: The Primetime Emmy nominations are in. We'll tell you about
- 20:52Speaker 1: the nominees at the top of the hour. You're gonna
- 20:54Speaker 1: be surprised. But right now the nephew is here with
- 20:57Speaker 1: run that prank back. What you got for his neph
- 21:00Speaker 1: The church parking lot. Okay, the church parking lot one
- 21:08Speaker 1: more time, the church parking lot. Let's go. We got
- 21:13Speaker 1: it here. Uh yeah, Brendan, Hey, I'm trying to reach you.
- 21:21Speaker 1: How you doing, Uh, Brena, I don't want to make
- 21:23Speaker 1: sure I got the right person. You're the person that,
- 21:25Speaker 1: uh you work at the at the first of all,
- 21:28Speaker 1: I go to uh my name, my name Calvin, brother Calvin.
- 21:32Speaker 1: But I go to h Saint Missionary Baptist Church where
- 21:35Speaker 1: you okay, yeah, so yeah, so everything already, everything's fine. Well,
- 21:41Speaker 1: I got a little issue and I'm trying to get
- 21:44Speaker 1: to the bottom of it. Now. You work in the
- 21:46Speaker 1: before service start. You work in the parking lot on yeah, yeah,
- 21:53Speaker 1: and you tell people where the parking stuff right right right?
- 21:56Speaker 1: Were you looking for some employment? You want to you
- 21:59Speaker 1: want to join us? Nah? Nah? Nah? To see the
- 22:02Speaker 1: issue I got, Man, I've been dealing with this probably
- 22:05Speaker 1: about the last two months. Nine Okay, hold on, I'm
- 22:09Speaker 1: trying to tee. So the problem is when I come
- 22:11Speaker 1: to the church last couple of months, man, I've been
- 22:15Speaker 1: I've been coming like my my my my regular card
- 22:18Speaker 1: and broke down on me. So I had I got
- 22:19Speaker 1: an old van that I've been yeah, yeah, you know,
- 22:23Speaker 1: I got an old van and I've been using to
- 22:24Speaker 1: get around in so nah for the last two months,
- 22:27Speaker 1: I've been riding in it when I come to the church.
- 22:30Speaker 1: You know you and I find out who you were,
- 22:33Speaker 1: But you keep sending me to the back of the
- 22:37Speaker 1: parking lot. And then but you know I noticed now
- 22:40Speaker 1: nah bro, no on the reel. So you're sending me
- 22:42Speaker 1: to the back, and I'm noticing when I see cars
- 22:45Speaker 1: that's like two thousand and ten, two thousand and fifteen cars.
- 22:48Speaker 1: We'll listen. We don't have new uh set place where
- 22:52Speaker 1: we put model car. You know, I just I just
- 22:54Speaker 1: direct the traffic. Brother. Okay, So so you're trying to
- 22:57Speaker 1: tell me for the last two months you direct traffic,
- 23:01Speaker 1: but you got but you directed me to the back
- 23:03Speaker 1: every time. But a car behind me or car in
- 23:06Speaker 1: front of me, it'll be going to the front. Na.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Where you getting this information from me? I just I
- 23:12Speaker 1: didn't seen you man or send people to the front
- 23:15Speaker 1: to part. I haven't seen you do na. No, I
- 23:18Speaker 1: just I just put you know, the bigger vehicles in
- 23:21Speaker 1: the in the back, and uh certain you know it's
- 23:26Speaker 1: really no scatter if if you come in, I just
- 23:28Speaker 1: I just direct you to the right of the left.
- 23:30Speaker 1: It's really nothing to it. Really, So you're not trying
- 23:33Speaker 1: to say so so my my vand being a raggedy
- 23:36Speaker 1: ain't the reason why I'm being no bro, no bro, no, no, no,
- 23:40Speaker 1: I would know that's not what we're about. Nah, okay,
- 23:44Speaker 1: I'm sorry you feel that way. I mean, so I
- 23:46Speaker 1: guess this Sunday. Let me let me I'm gonna tell

- 32:54Speaker 1: miss Anne Tripp, thank you very much, everybody. This is
- 32:57Speaker 1: a trip with the news. The Trump administration reportedly plans
- 33:01Speaker 1: to turn down all new applications for DACA, or Deferred
- 33:04Speaker 1: Action for Childhood Arrivals Program people. DOCA, of course, is
- 33:08Speaker 1: the Obama era program that blocked the deportation of immigrants
- 33:11Speaker 1: who were brought here illegally by their parents too, no
- 33:14Speaker 1: fault of their own, they were kids. A Trump administration
- 33:17Speaker 1: official has told reporters that while the administration will continue
- 33:21Speaker 1: renewing DACA status for the six hundred and forty thousand
- 33:23Speaker 1: or so current Dreamers, it will only be for a
- 33:26Speaker 1: year and not two years, which has been the case
- 33:29Speaker 1: under the Obama administration when they instituted it. US Attorney
- 33:32Speaker 1: General William Barr was on Capitol Hill testifying before the
- 33:35Speaker 1: House Judiciary Committee yesterday, months after Democratic lawmakers asked him to.
- 33:41Speaker 1: Barr defended the president's use of federal agents to put
- 33:44Speaker 1: down civil unrest resulting from Black Lives Matter protests on rest,
- 33:48Speaker 1: which locals, like Portland's Portland Margin's mayor says has actually
- 33:52Speaker 1: been made much worse because of the way the fetes
- 33:55Speaker 1: have handled demonstrates. Barr did at least acknowledge that the
- 33:58Speaker 1: quote brutal police murder of mister George Floyd and I'm
- 34:01Speaker 1: quoting him jarred the whole country and forced us to
- 34:05Speaker 1: focus on long standing issues which obviously relate to the
- 34:08Speaker 1: relationship between law enforcement and the African American community, and
- 34:11Speaker 1: saying you're going to do anything about however, a bar
- 34:13Speaker 1: diverted the conversion the conversation when asked why the president
- 34:17Speaker 1: sent no troops in early this year, when white men
- 34:20Speaker 1: armed and wearing swastikas stormed a government building, the United Nations,
- 34:25Speaker 1: by the way, human rights officers issuing a stern warning
- 34:27Speaker 1: to the United States about having to do with how
- 34:29Speaker 1: the black lives matter of protesters are being treated. The
- 34:32Speaker 1: UN is voicing concerns about what they see as a
- 34:35Speaker 1: disproportional force against protesters and journalists as their quote involved
- 34:40Speaker 1: in the anti systematic racism protests across the country, and
- 34:43Speaker 1: they especially condemned practices like the police officers and other
- 34:47Speaker 1: law enforcement covering up their badge numbers while they assault people.
- 34:52Speaker 1: President Trump has signed a memorandum that calls for an
- 34:54Speaker 1: unprecedented change in jess who's included in the census count
- 34:57Speaker 1: and who is not. Schol will say the constitutions as
- 35:00Speaker 1: account is to include every person in the US. It's
- 35:02Speaker 1: the fourteenth Amendment. But Donald Trump wants to change that.
- 35:05Speaker 1: He wants unauthorized immigrants to be excluded. Expect some legal
- 35:09Speaker 1: action behind that. Here we go again. There is a
- 35:12Speaker 1: video out there of a white woman in Santa Barbara, California.
- 35:16Speaker 1: She's calling the police on a Latino man who asked
- 35:19Speaker 1: her for her insurance information after their vehicles were involved
- 35:22Speaker 1: in a mind of fender bender and a supermarket parking lot.
- 35:25Speaker 1: He stopped, He says, what's your insurance number is? She
- 35:27Speaker 1: calls the police, claiming she felt threatened. And finally today
- 35:31Speaker 1: is find a better lawyer to day, or more like it,
- 35:36Speaker 1: better find a lawyer. Now back to the Steve Harvey
- 35:39Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening to show what's going on in
- 35:44Speaker 1: trending politics. Joe Biden delivered a speech on racial inequality
- 35:49Speaker 1: yesterday in his hometown of Wilmington, Delaware. Mister Biden said
- 35:53Speaker 1: that he will choose a running mate the first week
- 35:55Speaker 1: in August, which will be next week, okay. Folks on
- 35:58Speaker 1: Twitter noticed a picture of Biden's speech notes that included
- 36:01Speaker 1: Kamala Harris's name on the paper. Biden said he is
- 36:07Speaker 1: running for president because he thinks our democracy is at stake.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Take a listen. I'm running because Trump is the president
- 36:15Speaker 1: and I think our democracy is a stake for real
- 36:17Speaker 1: and what seems to be the case as many Americans,
- 36:23Speaker 1: those who don't like me and those who do view
- 36:26Speaker 1: me as the antithesis of Trump, and I believe that
- 36:30Speaker 1: I am. And I when I announced, I said I
- 36:35Speaker 1: was running because though it's essential to restore basic decency,
- 36:40Speaker 1: the soul of America. But I really meant it. It
- 36:43Speaker 1: wasn't you Remember I got criticized early on for saying that.
- 36:46Speaker 1: Now everybody's talking about the soule American decency, honor, respect.
- 36:50Speaker 1: There you go, Wow, he's sounding presidential, that's for sure. Yep, yep,
- 36:58Speaker 1: ninety seven days. Say it again, Steve, Come on, what
- 37:02Speaker 1: were you going to say? Unlike you know the one
- 37:05Speaker 1: we got. It's nothing presidential about Donald Trump. Nothing presidential.
- 37:13Speaker 1: You know. I'm watching the ad campaigns and it's just ridiculous. Man,
- 37:18Speaker 1: Donald Trump is right for this country. Who thinks that,
- 37:23Speaker 1: who is base in their right mind, who is a
- 37:27Speaker 1: well thinking person can think that Donald Trump is right
- 37:31Speaker 1: for this country. I don't care what party you're in.
- 37:36Speaker 1: If you look at morally, if you look at the
- 37:39Speaker 1: people he surround himself with, everybody's convicted of a crime.
- 37:44Speaker 1: He bought all these people to drain the swamp with.
- 37:48Speaker 1: And like I said in the beginning, he drained the
- 37:50Speaker 1: swamp all right, He just filled it with new creatures.
- 37:53Speaker 1: Everybody he bought to Washington is in jail. If they
- 37:58Speaker 1: ain't in jail, he pardoned them. And all of them
- 38:01Speaker 1: work for him, and all of them are directly affiliated
- 38:07Speaker 1: with him. These are not people he's known in passing.
- 38:11Speaker 1: He handpicked all these people. They know him. There's the corruption,
- 38:17Speaker 1: there's the moral issues, the way he talks about women,
- 38:20Speaker 1: two women, the things he's done with women. I mean, man,
- 38:24Speaker 1: come on, man, I don't see how ninety seven days
- 38:31Speaker 1: you can call yourself a patriot and then want to
- 38:35Speaker 1: vote for this guy. Yeah, the stuff he's done. Man,
- 38:41Speaker 1: So to the Steve Harvey Nation. Steve requests your vote
- 38:46Speaker 1: by male ballot early. You can do that, send it
- 38:49Speaker 1: back early. Go to vote Save America dot com. Slash
- 38:54Speaker 1: every last vote. So go to vote save America dot com.
- 38:57Speaker 1: Slash every last vote and coming up at thirty four
- 39:01Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, a quick round of asks the CLLO.
- 39:05Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to morning show. All right, guys,
- 39:11Speaker 1: time now for a quick round of asks the CLO.
- 39:14Speaker 1: If you have questions for the CLO, you can go
- 39:16Speaker 1: to Steve HARVEYFM dot com to submit your questions. Ready
- 39:20Speaker 1: CLO let's go. This one's from Howard in Oakland. Howard says,
- 39:27Speaker 1: I'm a thirty three year old man engaged to be
- 39:29Speaker 1: married this fall. My fiance is threatening to call off
- 39:33Speaker 1: our wedding if I don't handle a situation with my
- 39:36Speaker 1: ex girlfriend. Years ago, I dated a girl that was
- 39:40Speaker 1: pregnant when we met. After she had the baby, I
- 39:43Speaker 1: was in the baby's life for three years. I have
- 39:46Speaker 1: an attachment to this little boy, who's eight years old. Now.
- 39:50Speaker 1: My fiance has no problem with me dealing with the child.
- 39:54Speaker 1: She just gets mad when the child's mother acts like
- 39:56Speaker 1: I'm required to do certain things with and for her son.
- 40:00Speaker 1: How can I resolve this issue and keep my fiance
- 40:03Speaker 1: and this child happy? Wow? Yeah, I don't know how
- 40:08Speaker 1: to do that. Son, You're in a tough spot because
- 40:15Speaker 1: obviously she's jealous of the relationship and the baby. Now
- 40:20Speaker 1: it's not your biological baby, but I mean you've you've
- 40:24Speaker 1: entered into his life. You're what he knows his dad,
- 40:28Speaker 1: and you're attached to it. Man, I don't think you
- 40:30Speaker 1: should take that from the child. I think you gotta
- 40:33Speaker 1: sitt your girl down and just work through it. You know,
- 40:37Speaker 1: now your ex putting things on you. That's not really
- 40:42Speaker 1: your responsibility. That's a whole other thing. That's her trying
- 40:48Speaker 1: to stir the pot in your life now, and you
- 40:51Speaker 1: know that's being a little bit messy. And it's not
- 40:53Speaker 1: necessary because by law you won't have to pay child
- 40:56Speaker 1: support or none of that. So I think you should
- 40:59Speaker 1: sit her down explain to her what it is. But
- 41:02Speaker 1: I think you have to set your ex down and go, hey,
- 41:04Speaker 1: look this making me feel obligated. That won't work. I'm
- 41:08Speaker 1: in a situation now, I'm in a relationship that's really
- 41:11Speaker 1: good for me, and that's what it is. I can't
- 41:15Speaker 1: have her set what you're calling over him making demands.
- 41:18Speaker 1: So that's your last demand. You know. I want to
- 41:20Speaker 1: see him, and I'm gonna help with him because I'm lost.
- 41:26Speaker 1: Ain't im damn demands though this is all volunteer. I
- 41:29Speaker 1: love the dude, he loves me. Let's leave it at that. Yeah,
- 41:34Speaker 1: all right, thank you, Steve. Tanya and Rosemond, Illinois says
- 41:38Speaker 1: I'm in the process of having my grown thirty year
- 41:41Speaker 1: old son evicted. He will not pay me to live here,
- 41:45Speaker 1: and I have asked him many times to leave on
- 41:48Speaker 1: his own. I recently purchased a new home, and I
- 41:51Speaker 1: have some minor repairs home repairs that I need him
- 41:54Speaker 1: to help me out with, and he refuses to help me.
- 41:57Speaker 1: He won't keep a job, and I feel like I'm
- 41:59Speaker 1: enabling him, so I want him out. He is upset
- 42:02Speaker 1: with me, and he posted a very nasty comment about
- 42:04Speaker 1: me on social media, and several of our family members
- 42:07Speaker 1: sided with him because they know he has nowhere to go.
- 42:10Speaker 1: Am I wrong to legally put him out? You put
- 42:14Speaker 1: it ass out? You could legally change them locks, and
- 42:17Speaker 1: you could legally beat everything he said you was in
- 42:20Speaker 1: that damn post. If that's how if that's what you
- 42:23Speaker 1: won't hear it is? And to heal with them family
- 42:26Speaker 1: and those Hayton family members, Yeah, let him come stay
- 42:31Speaker 1: with you, right because we know when he ain't got
- 42:34Speaker 1: an away to go, he ain't got a way to
- 42:35Speaker 1: go because he don't want to work. You ain't gonna
- 42:37Speaker 1: be talking to me crazy, and I'm taking care of you.
- 42:39Speaker 1: You're a thirty year old man, get out of here.
- 42:41Speaker 1: But you're posting nasty things about your mom on social media?
- 42:45Speaker 1: Your mom? That's crazy. You know there is such a
- 42:50Speaker 1: thing as dead beat son. Yeah, yeah, I guess we
- 42:54Speaker 1: just got an example of that. This one's from Cortez
- 42:57Speaker 1: and Teanack, New Jersey. I'm a forty four year old
- 42:59Speaker 1: married man. My wife is a negative nancy. She's pessimistic
- 43:02Speaker 1: about everything. When I come in from running errands, I
- 43:05Speaker 1: have to get in the shower as soon as I
- 43:07Speaker 1: come in because she swears I have COVID nineteen on
- 43:10Speaker 1: my clothes. I work from home, and she constantly nags
- 43:13Speaker 1: me to check in with my boss to make sure
- 43:15Speaker 1: I'm good. She read an article that says husbands are
- 43:18Speaker 1: getting bored with sex during the pandemic, so she cut
- 43:21Speaker 1: back sex to once a week. That's the only thing
- 43:24Speaker 1: I enjoyed with her. I want some peace and positivity
- 43:27Speaker 1: in my life. I told her if we had sex
- 43:29Speaker 1: more often, she'd be more relaxed. How can I fix this?
- 43:33Speaker 1: Sex is the only thing you enjoy with her, That's
- 43:35Speaker 1: what he said, Steve, Not even a cup of coffee?
- 43:40Speaker 1: Would you say you can get once you get tired
- 43:50Speaker 1: of the person Getting tired of these sex is gonna
- 43:53Speaker 1: be easy, all right? Thank you, cello. Great advice as usual,
- 43:59Speaker 1: coming up to nephew with today's prank phone call. Right
- 44:02Speaker 1: after this, You're listening Dave Harvey Morning Show coming up

- 45:08Speaker 1: to my attention that there's a postman that has been
- 45:11Speaker 1: stopping by my house and I'm what I'm not understanding
- 45:15Speaker 1: is why are you bringing mail to my door? A

- 45:51Speaker 1: what I'm understanding it ain't no mail being brought over there.
- 45:53Speaker 1: I'm trying to figure out what are you doing at
- 45:56Speaker 1: my house? Now? What really didn't then brought all this

- 46:06Speaker 1: clothes from the cleaners this morning, and to my attention,
- 46:09Speaker 1: it's a man's post office shirt in my packet. What
- 46:12Speaker 1: color was it? It's blue, light blue and I got
- 46:15Speaker 1: a bluer. Okay, but explain this to the me. How
- 46:19Speaker 1: your shirt get in my house? Do you have my
- 46:21Speaker 1: name on it? Because that can mean anybody's shirt. Okay,
- 46:24Speaker 1: So so oh hold on what you're trying to say.

- 46:29Speaker 1: See it? Man? Sometimes sometimes you know, we do have
- 46:32Speaker 1: different guys in that in that neighborhood, you know, because
- 46:35Speaker 1: I here's my problem, man. My problem is this is
- 46:38Speaker 1: that my wife is at home all day, every day.
- 46:41Speaker 1: And my understanding is that you stopping boy springing morning.
- 46:44Speaker 1: First of all, you can call you can call the
- 46:48Speaker 1: one A one hundred numbers, because how do you get
- 46:51Speaker 1: my number? That? Hey, I don't worry about that. I
- 46:53Speaker 1: find ways. It's how you how you how you getting
- 46:56Speaker 1: my address? That you stopping by that every morning? I
- 46:59Speaker 1: just delivered what they give me to deliver, and due
- 47:01Speaker 1: I put another in the box. And this is a package.

- 47:19Speaker 1: of mine, man, that's not mine. I have all mine. Okay, okay, okay,
- 47:22Speaker 1: I'll tell you what this is what we're gonna do Carlos. Carlos,
- 47:25Speaker 1: see what, let me tell you something. I know you're lying. See,
- 47:27Speaker 1: and what you're doing is you're delivering more than mails
- 47:30Speaker 1: at my house. And I know it. Carlos, You understand me,
- 47:33Speaker 1: So excuse me. That's not me. It can't be me.
- 47:36Speaker 1: Let me let me tell you something. When you come

- 53:54Speaker 1: We got it for you. Here it ease, Strawberry Letter.
- 53:57Speaker 1: Thank you, nephew. Subject your single unless you're married is
- 54:02Speaker 1: the subject. All right. Dear Stephen Shirley, I am thirty
- 54:05Speaker 1: six years old and I've been in a great relationship
- 54:09Speaker 1: for four years. A year ago, I noticed a change
- 54:12Speaker 1: in my man and changes in our sex life. If
- 54:17Speaker 1: I initiated sex, he made up excuses like he has
- 54:20Speaker 1: acid reflux and he's scared sex might give him a
- 54:23Speaker 1: heart attack. Then I saw a text on his phone
- 54:27Speaker 1: that said I love you too. I asked about it
- 54:30Speaker 1: and he said he texted her some relationship advice and
- 54:34Speaker 1: was only responding to her. He said it's no big
- 54:37Speaker 1: deal to love a friend without romantic involvement. I told
- 54:40Speaker 1: him if he continued to send messages like that, he
- 54:43Speaker 1: was going to need some relationship advice too. After that,
- 54:47Speaker 1: he changed his password to his fingerprint to access his phone,
- 54:51Speaker 1: so I had to be creative to find out if
- 54:53Speaker 1: he was sneaking around with another female. I checked to
- 54:57Speaker 1: social media direct messages, and all of the proof was there.
- 55:02Speaker 1: His advice in quotations to her was to leave her
- 55:06Speaker 1: man and be with him. I found out he'd introduced
- 55:09Speaker 1: her to his mother as his future wife, and that
- 55:12Speaker 1: broke my heart. I sat and wrote him a note
- 55:15Speaker 1: telling him what I had seen and told him i'd
- 55:18Speaker 1: be at my sister's while I figured things out. He
- 55:22Speaker 1: called me and said he loves me, but he's not
- 55:24Speaker 1: in love with me. He also said he is not
- 55:27Speaker 1: in love with the new girl, but he's very close
- 55:30Speaker 1: to it. He apologized to me and said I have
- 55:33Speaker 1: every right to be hurt, but I shouldn't be upset
- 55:36Speaker 1: because we were just dating, not married. He said, Technically
- 55:41Speaker 1: he's single, and so am I. Why did he stay
- 55:44Speaker 1: with me with four years and use me until something
- 55:48Speaker 1: better came along? We talked about marriage, but I guess
- 55:52Speaker 1: he had other plans. I was blindsided and I feel
- 55:55Speaker 1: like a fool. I am moving out of his house
- 55:57Speaker 1: and his life. Where did where did I go wrong? Whole?
- 56:05Speaker 1: Technically he's single and so are you. That part is true,
- 56:08Speaker 1: and you do have every right to be upset. You
- 56:11Speaker 1: can be upset if you want to be upset. I'm
- 56:13Speaker 1: sorry this happened to you. Four years is a long
- 56:15Speaker 1: time for this to be the outcome. And you know,
- 56:18Speaker 1: I'm sure you were hoping for way more, something a
- 56:22Speaker 1: little more permanent, like marriage, since you mentioned marriage and
- 56:25Speaker 1: your letters that you guys talked about it. But you know,
- 56:28Speaker 1: I say this better late than never, because it is
- 56:32Speaker 1: clear that this man is not for you. He said,
- 56:35Speaker 1: he loves you like you can I guess love a
- 56:38Speaker 1: pet or something. But he's not in love with you.
- 56:41Speaker 1: So the best thing for you to do is to
- 56:43Speaker 1: let him go. The quicker you do that, the sooner
- 56:46Speaker 1: you can get on with your life. But the learning
- 56:50Speaker 1: process is gonna be gonna be hard for you. You say,
- 56:53Speaker 1: where did you go wrong? That's the hard part. He
- 56:58Speaker 1: was getting everything he wanted from this relationship, sex with you,
- 57:02Speaker 1: all the benefits of marriage. You were living together, you know,
- 57:06Speaker 1: and even with that, he still considered you guys single.
- 57:11Speaker 1: So these are the lessons that you gotta that you gotta,
- 57:15Speaker 1: you know, watch and learn so you won't make these
- 57:18Speaker 1: same mistakes again. You weren't getting anything, You weren't moving
- 57:22Speaker 1: toward a commitment from him, So you know, I just don't.
- 57:30Speaker 1: I mean, you know, how did you play a part
- 57:32Speaker 1: in this? I guess is what I'm trying to say.
- 57:34Speaker 1: You played a part in this because you allowed this
- 57:37Speaker 1: to go on like this. You just dating a man
- 57:40Speaker 1: and living with him for four years. You were hoping
- 57:43Speaker 1: for something more, but you didn't get that. You wanted
- 57:45Speaker 1: to marry him, you know, you guys never disgusted only
- 57:49Speaker 1: when when he brought it up. What about what you wanted?
- 57:52Speaker 1: And what about you know what he thought about what
- 57:56Speaker 1: you wanted. You could have found these things out a
- 57:58Speaker 1: little earlier in the relationship if you've just you know,
- 58:02Speaker 1: done some digging like you did when you were trying
- 58:04Speaker 1: to find out if he was sneaking around cheating on you.
- 58:07Speaker 1: So I guess what I'm saying is let this be
- 58:09Speaker 1: a lesson. I think you should let this one go.
- 58:12Speaker 1: Hopefully you have since you moved out and everything. But
- 58:16Speaker 1: next time, you know you have a right to speak
- 58:18Speaker 1: your mind and let them know what you want. And
- 58:22Speaker 1: like Steve says in his book, act like a lady,
- 58:24Speaker 1: think like a man. Makes some standards and requirements so
- 58:27Speaker 1: you won't end up in the same position giving four
- 58:30Speaker 1: years of your life to a relationship that really is
- 58:34Speaker 1: going nowhere and you're not getting what you want, but
- 58:36Speaker 1: they get everything they want. So learn from this and
- 58:39Speaker 1: move on. Steve subject you're single unless you're married. That's
- 58:45Speaker 1: complete and utter bull Every adult knows that if you're
- 58:51Speaker 1: not married, you can be in a relationship. You're not single,
- 58:55Speaker 1: y'all live together. Single people can do single things. The
- 59:02Speaker 1: problem you have is when you're not single, but you're
- 59:05Speaker 1: performing as though you are single. If you're in a
- 59:08Speaker 1: committed relationship. Living with a person is a committed relationship.
- 59:12Speaker 1: Marriage is a commited, committed relationship. So y'all in a relationship.
- 59:18Speaker 1: He ain't single. I'm a thirty six year old. I've
- 59:22Speaker 1: been in a great relationship for four years. Boy, this
- 59:25Speaker 1: one went down here pretty fast, though, been a year ago,
- 59:30Speaker 1: changing your man's sex life. If I initiated sex, he
- 59:34Speaker 1: made up excuses like he had acid reflex and he
- 59:38Speaker 1: scared sex might give him a heart attack. This is
- 59:43Speaker 1: called pre existing conditions. Who let's acid reflex stop them
- 59:52Speaker 1: from having sex? I've vomited and won't it sex? I've
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: had die real sex on that night. On that note two,
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: we'll have part two of your response, sir, get yourself
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: together coming up in twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry Letters subject You're single unless you're married. We'll
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: get back into it right after this. You're listening to show,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: all right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's Strawberry Letters
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: subject your single until you're married. Well, okay, that's how
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: you want to go with it, but I think it's
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: bogus the way he played this woman year agold had
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: a wonderful relationship. She thirty six, the sex in the
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: chance had a change in a sex life. If she
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: initiated sex. The dude made up excuse like he had
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: acid reflux and he was scared that sex might give
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: him a heart attack. You thirty six, First of all,
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: how old is he? Because if he's the same age
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: as you, he in bad shape. He's scared sex gonna
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: give him a heart attack. I have had sex to
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: try to have a heart attack. Prince wrote a song
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: that says, when we make love crazy in love having
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: a hundred million look to heart attacks. Damn you. That
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: was a song When we make love is like having
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: a hundred million little heart attacks. That's a song you
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: make love to have a heart attack. Now he don't
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: want to have sex because he's scared attack my heart.
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: This is not about you, sir, No, I'm telling you
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: how wrong this dude is. All right, Then you saw
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: a phone. The text on the phone say I love
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: you too. Then you confronted the man about it, and
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: he said it ain't no big deal. He was giving
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: her some romantic advice, which he was. But the thing
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: of it is is you told him if he continued
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: to see a message like that that she was gonna
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: need some romanic advice too, all right, So he changed
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: the pass where he put his finger on and everything
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: right now. So now she got creative and went through
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: his messages and found out on social media that he
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: had advice to her was to leave her man and
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: be with him. And you find out he induced her
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: to his mother as his future wife. That broke her hard.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: Then you wrote him a note, You told him that
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: you be at your sister's house while while you figured
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: this out. Then he did it hit the whole crux
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: of the whole letter right here. He called you said
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: he loves you, but he's not in love with you.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: You need to be in love to marry somebody, and
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: everybody on this show could tell you that you got
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: to be in love folk show. Definitely you got to
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: get to marry somebody. So that that's a bummer right there.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: He also said he's not in love with the new girl,
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: but he's very close to it. Did you not get
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: a text that said I love you too? That's right,
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: it was in the text. So now he just trying
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: to let you down soft. But then here he goes
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: he apologized to you and said you got every right
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: to be hurt, but I shouldn't be upset. See this,
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: this dude right here, he knows how to draw the
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: difference between upset and hurt. Like them two ain't the
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: same damn thing him right, You got every right to
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: be hurt, but you shouldn't be upset because we were
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: just dating, not married. Fool, We lived in your house.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: This ain't dating. We live together. In some states that's
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: called common and law. So technic he's singling? So am I?
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: Why did he stay with me four years and use
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: me until something better came along? First of all, sister,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: stop beating yourself up. You don't know that something better
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: has come along. That's true, you don't know that. Let
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: me tell you something else I want you to do.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: We had talked about marriage, and I guess he had
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: other plans. I was blindsided. I feel like a fool.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: I'm moving out of his house in his life. Where
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: did I go wrong? You didn't go wrong? Nowhere, you
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: didn't go wrong. See that's what happens to a lot
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: of ladies. A dude becomes an a hole, and then
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: all of a sudden you take the blame and like
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: you did something. You got a man that the lied.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: We wasn't we wasn't we were single? Food? She lives
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: in your house. You find a message that say I
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: love you too. He tell you he ain't in love
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: with her, but he closed. How the heir? Are you
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: close in love? What is excuse there? What is that?
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: I'm not in love with her, but I'm close? Kind?
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: There ain't ain't no songs about now. It's songs that
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: say I believe, I believe, I believe I'm falling in love.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: That's a song. But the key word he said, I
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: believe I'm falling in love. Did the Ain't no song
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: out there going? Stay with me? I'm almost damn I'm
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: almost in love with you. Hey, come on now, stay
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: with me. I'm almost there. I'm almost in love, which
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: you almost almost? Damn nedam kind of kind? But I
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: don't know when? Oh don't Okay, wait a while, lone,
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: I'm almost in love. Post your comments on today's Strawberry
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Letters after you hit song I'm Almost in Love on
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: Instagram and Facebook. Check out the Strawberry Letter podcast on
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: demand as well. Coming up at forty six minutes after
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: the hour and trending political news, President Trump said no
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: one likes him because of his personality. We'll talk about
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening to Steve Morning Show
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: and trending political news. Yesterday, President Trump questioned why it
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: is ductor huh shell it before you do that. Yes, Steve,
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna finish up the hit song I'm Almost in
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: Love with You from Strawberry Letter. Yeah, you're single unless
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: you're married. Part three. All right, I'm almost in love
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: with you almost. It could happen any day. I'm kind
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: of in love with you. I thought about it, being
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: in love with you. It could happen girl, any day.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Two more, that's all. It could be in love with you.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: I don't know, but it could happen any day. Well,
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: let's see if I'm in love come out today, go ahead.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: I just all right, Well, you know, we got to
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: talk about this president yesterday, the Trump question. Why does
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: doctor Fauci, uh you know who he is, government's top
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: infectious disease expert. Why does he have a higher approval
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: rating with the handling of a corona virus pandemic than
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: he does? Take a listen, a man works for us
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: with us very closely. Doctor Fauci and doctor Burke also
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: highly thought of, and yet they're highly good of. But
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: nobody likes me. It can only be my personality, that's all. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: now you know he's so he's not mature at all. Uh, immature,
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: it has to be my personality. Yeah, that's when people
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: don't like you, and it's okay. But he has a
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: higher approval rating because he's trying to help the people
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: through Corona. They don't approve you because you ain't doing nothing.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: You gonna keep taking this other day, I'm drug with
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: You're ignorant. But he's going against the people that he
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: says works for him. So when you're confusing the message, Yeah,
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: what about this African doctor? Uh all he tweeted about yesterday.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: I mean she was saying that she's treated over three
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: hundred and something patients with this drug and what what
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: what's the name? What's what's the first drug? He ain't
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: been believing black people? Yeah, and and uh so you
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: know he's touting the drug again like he was before.
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: She's saying it works. She she was very passion about. Yeah,
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: she's saying yeah, all right, uh coming up, coming up
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, tell me something good
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening Steve Harping Show time now
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: for tell me something good news. Here's some good news.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: More Than a Vote is a collective of black athletes
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: and entertainers that focuses on voting rights and calls attention
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: to voter suppression in the community. The Lebron James founded
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: group has pledged one hundred thousand dollars to the Florida
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: Rights Restoration Coalition to help pay off court debt for
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: former felons. For the record, ex felons were banned from
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: voting in the state in twenty eighteen. More than a
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: million Florida residents with prior felony convictions had their voting
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: rights restored with Amendment four, but any outstanding court fees
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: would make them ineligible. Your right to vote shouldn't depend
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: on whether or not you can pay to exercise it,
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: said Miami heat forward Udonis Haslem. The partnership will help
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: ensure that formally incarcerated American citizens, many of them black
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: and brown, are able to pay their outstanding lines and
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: fees and registered to vote in the twenty twenty election
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: and beyond. We have ninety seven days until the presidential election.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: Wow again that it's called more than a vote, more
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: than a vote, and we have got to vote, and
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: we all need to go to when we all vote
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: dot org. Everybody, please listen. This is very important. We've
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: got to turn out at the polls in a big way.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: We're going to be giving out information about early voting.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: When your state can allow you to early vote, We'll
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: be giving that information out to you. But right now,
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: it does no good if you're not a registered voter. True.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: The most important thing right now is to get people registered.
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: They say registration is down. We're not going for that.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: I got a couple of friends I'm having a meeting
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: with next week so we can all have the same messaging.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: I got some Fred listen to me. This is Michelle
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: Obama's website wants us to go to when we all
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: vote dot org. We got to get registered first. Don't
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: worry about the early voting. Return your on line. Let's
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: get registered first. That's the mission of the Steve Harvey
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: Morning Show. Okay, because there are still a lot of
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: people that are unregistered, Steve, people have moved, they've changed
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: their address, things like that. A lot of people don't
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: even know that. When you do that, you should reregister
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: at your current address. So all these things are good.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: This is step one. When we all vote dot org.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: We're gonna take a strap by step because voting, you know,
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: it shouldn't have to be this complicated. It should not
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: have to be this complicated. Republicans make it this complicated
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: because of voter suppression. Right, yes, they got it. Jokingly
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: said at that fundraising event that day, what's the number
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: one thing we work on? Voter suppression? He said that
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: because it's very important to them. Yeah, but they do
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: it in really slick ways. If you notice at the
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: primary in a lot of cities they had closed a
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: lot of voting polls. Absolutely, yes, yeah, yeah, and they
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: made it really, really tough. So we're gonna be on
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: top of that this time because they're gonna try everything.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: Because right now, Barr yesterday the other day when he
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: was speaking before Congress, Barney General, Yeah, the attorney general,
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: they're making a pitch that this year's having a mailien
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: vote could set up for enormous amounts of voter fraud. Okay,
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: that's crazy, because we get our mail every day and
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: it's fine, right, but see they're already setting up for
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: some for that game they play, right, a mail gonna
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: set up for major He's he's a conspiracy theorist, so
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: he loves to have these. You know, there was a
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: lot of fake votes. He started that last year. Yeah,
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: he said voter fraud was the reason he didn't win
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: the popular vote. He said he would have won that
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: but because of voter fraud. But can I also say this,
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: Steve as an aside um, your brilliant nephew. But Attorney
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: General Bill Barr testifying in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee,
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: I think it was he thought he was Elton john It.
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: Come on. Nobody else said, Hey, tell me, I'd be
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: mad at you. But if ball had on some red glass,
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: ain't gonna lie to you, Johnny. He had ear ring
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: as a red glass rocking man. All right, coming up
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: more of today's trending stories on the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: We'll be back at twenty minutes after the hour. Right
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: after this, you're listening Stry Morning Show. Well yesterday, Twitter, Facebook,
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: and YouTube temporarily restricted Donald Trump Juniors social media account
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: after he posted a video of a doctor saying it
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: was a cure for COVID twenty nine, for COVID nineteen
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: and misleading people about the drug hydroxy chloric quin. And oh,
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: by the way, Donald's father, the President, retweeted this tweet.
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: That's that doctor. That's the doctor we were talking about earlier. Yeah,
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: the doctor. Yeah, she was speaking so passionate. She said
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: she had treated a lot of patients with hydroxy chloric
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: quin and uh and some zinc and it works. Was
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: that delayed with the hat on the African Yeah? Yeah.
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: And another video she had and another video I think
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: she had a hat on stage she was talking about
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: aliens and yeah, that's why I'm little confused right there.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: Once you have on a church outfit and say everyone,
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: you know, if you're gonna have on the church outfit,
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: I'm gonna need you to discuss scriptures in print. What
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: does all this with the talk about hydroxy chloroquint at all?
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: Like that? You know? Good? And will you don't take that?
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: That was peroxide and you know it? Same amount of
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: let us, I got you, same amount of let us?
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: All right? Um? Yeah, coming up, we'll have more of
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show and some trending news at
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: thirty three minutes after the hour. Right after this, you're
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: listening to show in today's entertainment news from the Black
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: Information Network b i N. The seventy second Prime Time

- 1:19:17Speaker 1: So congratulations to all of the Emmy nominees. Wow, coming up,
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: it's our last break of the day. It's the last
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: break of the day. Okay, thank you, And we'll also
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: have some closing remarks from the one and only Steve
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: Harvey at forty nine minutes after some closing remarks. But
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: it's coming up right after this you're listening to all
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: right here we are, last break of the day. Super
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: water there, Steve. Yeah, uh, it's been a good day. No,
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: you have large lips. You have to you can't let
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: them dry. You have no idea how much licking you
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: gonna have to do. I can't let these puppies dry
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: out at all. Ain't gonna just do lip jokes now party. No,
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: we're gonna now where everybody gonna have a commercial. Everybody's
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: flower is gonna be out on this show. No one
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: can the comedians cannot take a joke without jabbing. We
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: can't take it just for like a second. Return Yeah,
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: the return, this kid is happening immediately. So you know,
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: I was thinking, I don't know about you, and I'm
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: talking to the crew this morning. I don't know about y'all,
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: but I can't do four more years of this. No, no, no,
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: I'm out and especially sit here and do four more years.
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: It is when we could do something about it. Thank you.
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: See this that's happening right now. We don't have to
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: allow it to continue. We can actually do something about this. Look,
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: this ain't your boss down at your job and you
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: just got hired and he and he'd been there and
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: until he gets ready to retire, and you had and
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: you don't like the way your boss runs the division
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: or section of the company or just runs the company overall,
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: and it's it's and it's his company, and you got
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: to wait till he retired. No, this is a situation
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: that we can do something about in just a little
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: bit over ninety days. The way I'm looking at this
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: situation everybody is I don't have to be sick of
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: this dude in a about ninety days. It's simple as
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: that Barack Obama put a list on his website and
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: a website to go to that would give us information
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: on whintel when we can start early voting. His wife
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: first Lady, has an website when we all vote dot
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: org to get everybody to register to vote. These are
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: two people that the majority of us, not everybody, but
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: the majority of us deeply miss and cared about. And
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: they're still in the background going, hey man, y'all can
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: do something about this. What would sicken me is after
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: all of the complaining that we've done over the four years,
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: all of the lies that we've set to set through,
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: all of the discrimination, all of the racist remarks, the
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: bigotry that's been displayed openly, the race, the white supremacist
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: groups and hate groups that have reared their head wearing
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: their Trump paraphernalia, and they read caps all of this
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: that we just set through for nearly four years. And
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: you mean to tell me that we have an opportunity
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: to do something about this and we're not gonna do nothing.
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: You mean to tell me that people who who who?
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: Who who? What's the word I'm looking for, who try
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: to garner our vote, People who rally for our vote
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: just so they could get in, people who know that
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: this vote can change the course of the election. And
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: we're gonna sit here with all this power that we have,
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: and we're gonna sit here with it and hold John Lewis,
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: congressman got his head beat in so we could vote
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: Mega Ever's Rosa Parks, Frederick Douglas, Mata, Luther King. And
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: it's it's a list you can't even begin to measure.
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: And we sent Opinion with the power in our hands
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: in twenty twenty. They can't even stop us from voting
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: no more. We have the power in our hands in
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: twenty twenty to do something about it. And listen to me,

- 1:25:00Speaker 1: this unemployment. That's why they're trying to I'm gonna tell

- 1:25:24Speaker 1: and whether your baby gonna come home safe without being infected,
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: that's a distraction. This administration specializes in distractions. See, we

- 1:25:54Speaker 1: he had to playboy in the house, showing him Milanie's room.
