- 0:23Speaker 5: Morning Update, and We've got a big story to discuss.
- 0:27Speaker 5: Not only was it the one hundred day mark of
- 0:29Speaker 5: Donald Trump's presidency, but he decided to sit down and
- 0:32Speaker 5: take on the liberal media from the Oval office in
- 0:36Speaker 5: an incredible interview where he dismantled ABC News, We're gonna
- 0:40Speaker 5: have all of the highlights for you. It's the forty
- 0:43Speaker 5: seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
- 0:45Speaker 4: Story number one.
- 0:46Speaker 5: President Donald Trump, in the first hundred days of his
- 0:49Speaker 5: second term made it very clear he is in it
- 0:52Speaker 5: to win it and standing by his supporters, those that
- 0:55Speaker 5: voted for him to clean up the mess which is Washington,
- 0:58Speaker 5: D C. And Dhouse, and others in his cabinet spent
- 1:02Speaker 5: the entire day highlighting their significant achievements. Now there is
- 1:06Speaker 5: a big list of achievements, including immigration and border security
- 1:10Speaker 5: with significant reduction illegal border crossings. We also know that
- 1:14Speaker 5: there has been economic and regulatory measures at the White
- 1:17Speaker 5: House's touting as well, including job creation with approximately three
- 1:21Speaker 5: hundred and forty five thousand jobs that have already been added,
- 1:24Speaker 5: with over half in the non government sectors such as
- 1:28Speaker 5: construction and mining, indicating growth in the private industry employment,
- 1:33Speaker 5: which is so important to the Trump administration. We've also
- 1:36Speaker 5: witnessed energy sector revitalization. The administration prioritized domestic energy production
- 1:42Speaker 5: by removing many regulations, aiming to achieve energy independence and
- 1:47Speaker 5: stimulate economic growth and lower the prices that you're paying
- 1:51Speaker 5: at the pump. We've also had a major trade policy adjustment,
- 1:55Speaker 5: new trade policies that have been introduced with the intention
- 1:58Speaker 5: of promoting domestic manufacturing and protecting American workers and American industries.
- 2:04Speaker 5: It's also been a major point with the President when
- 2:06Speaker 5: it comes to the issue of national security. And then
- 2:09Speaker 5: there is doge government efficiency and deregulation. We've had executive
- 2:15Speaker 5: orders a total of one hundred and forty two executive
- 2:18Speaker 5: orders that have been signed focused on reducing bureaucratic red
- 2:21Speaker 5: tape and streamlining government operations. Then you have the Department
- 2:26Speaker 5: of Government Efficiency led by Elon Musk. This new department
- 2:30Speaker 5: aims to identify and eliminate inefficiencies, which are now into
- 2:34Speaker 5: the hundreds of billions of dollars. And that's not all
- 2:38Speaker 5: cultural and educational initiatives as well, including education reform. The
- 2:43Speaker 5: administration has taken major steps to reform educational institutions, emphasizing
- 2:48Speaker 5: traditional curriculum and reducing federal oversight getting it back to
- 2:53Speaker 5: the States. We've also had a major change in social policies,
- 2:57Speaker 5: policies that were implemented to align with traditional sc social values,
- 3:01Speaker 5: including actions really to jenior definitions and sports participation, protecting
- 3:06Speaker 5: women in sports. Now let's move to foreign policy and
- 3:10Speaker 5: international relations. We have had major support coming in from
- 3:13Speaker 5: our allies. The administration reaffirmed its support for major allies,
- 3:18Speaker 5: aiming to strengthen international partnerships instead of weakening them, which
- 3:22Speaker 5: is exactly what happened under the Biden administration. And then
- 3:25Speaker 5: trade negotiations, Efforts have been made to reinvigorate trade deals
- 3:30Speaker 5: to favor American interests and the goal is to boost
- 3:34Speaker 5: the domestic economy and the American workforce. Now, the President
- 3:39Speaker 5: decided to highlight all of this at a Michigan rally.
- 3:43Speaker 5: Many described as what he does so well at these
- 3:45Speaker 5: campaign rallies. But on the one hundredth day, President Trump
- 3:49Speaker 5: held the rally in Michigan, declearing his first hundred days
- 3:51Speaker 5: as the quote most successful in presidential history, highlighting achievements
- 3:56Speaker 5: in immigration, energy, and economic policies that I just mentioned. Now,
- 4:01Speaker 5: the President wasn't done there. He also decided it was
- 4:05Speaker 5: time to take on the liberal media, and the President
- 4:08Speaker 5: United States of America set down in the Oval Office
- 4:10Speaker 5: for a one on one interview with ABC News. Now,
- 4:14Speaker 5: let me warn you, this is a beat down, and
- 4:18Speaker 5: the President of the United States of America didn't hold back.
- 4:21Speaker 5: One of the big highlights was when he talked about
- 4:23Speaker 5: America and why it's so important that we are respected again.
- 4:27Speaker 3: Here's some of that back and forth.
- 4:30Speaker 6: Do you think the reputation in the United States has
- 4:33Speaker 6: gone down under your presidence?
- 4:35Speaker 1: No, I think it's gone way up, and I think
- 4:37Speaker 1: we're a respected country again.
- 4:39Speaker 2: We were left at all over the world.
- 4:41Speaker 1: We had a president that couldn't walk up a flight
- 4:44Speaker 1: of stairs, couldn't walk down a flight of stairs, couldn't
- 4:46Speaker 1: walk across the stage without falling.
- 4:48Speaker 2: We had a president that was grossly incompetent.
- 4:51Speaker 1: You knew it, I knew it, and everybody knew it,
- 4:53Speaker 1: but you guys didn't want to write it because you're
- 4:55Speaker 1: fake news.
- 4:56Speaker 2: All right. By the way, ABC's one of the worst,
- 4:58Speaker 2: I have to be honest. Okay, thank you. Now.
- 5:00Speaker 5: The President wasn't done there, calling them one of the worst.
- 5:04Speaker 5: He also called them out for some of their lives
- 5:07Speaker 5: to the American people, even in the interview, saying, you
- 5:10Speaker 5: guys are just making it up.
- 5:12Speaker 7: A legal note, fraud is a crime. There have been
- 5:14Speaker 7: no referrals to the Justice Department at anyway.
- 5:16Speaker 2: You don't know that, do you. How do you know that.
- 5:20Speaker 7: Have there been referrals to the How would you.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Know that that there were no referrals?
- 5:25Speaker 6: I think they generally all right, there's been no investigation
- 5:29Speaker 6: from the Host Department.
- 5:30Speaker 2: That I'm asking you, sir, you're not asking me. You
- 5:32Speaker 2: admit a statement. Now I'm asking you there was a
- 5:35Speaker 2: statement that you made the head I'm asking you.
- 5:38Speaker 6: Have they been yes, So they have been referrals for
- 5:41Speaker 6: fraud from the worst.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Step to take a look at some of these things
- 5:44Speaker 1: that took us billions of dollars.
- 5:46Speaker 2: We give it to people for no reason whatsoever. Of
- 5:49Speaker 2: course they have.
- 5:50Speaker 5: I love how fast ABC News moves along from that
- 5:54Speaker 5: back and forth once they realized the presence gotten them again.
- 5:58Speaker 5: And then how about the issue with legal crossings at
- 6:01Speaker 5: the southern border. ABC News forced to admit that, yes,
- 6:06Speaker 5: in fact, President Donald Trump's plan has worked well.
- 6:11Speaker 6: And as you said, it is an undeniable fact that
- 6:15Speaker 6: illegal crossings at the southern border have plummeted a staggering decline.
- 6:20Speaker 7: But there are questions about your.
- 6:22Speaker 6: Methods, and so I want to ask you about my methods,
- 6:25Speaker 6: about your methods, how you accomplished seemed to work?
- 6:28Speaker 3: Isn't it amazing? ABC News.
- 6:30Speaker 5: They're saying, Wow, there's no doubt, undeniable fact that illegal
- 6:34Speaker 5: crossings at the southern border have plummeted a staggering decline.
- 6:38Speaker 5: But there are questions about your methods, President Trump, Well,
- 6:42Speaker 5: they seem to work, yet again, showing them he's not
- 6:45Speaker 5: messing around. The President was also asked about his agenda
- 6:49Speaker 5: in general and making America great again. And here's what
- 6:53Speaker 5: the President had to say about that. One hundred days in.
- 6:56Speaker 6: What do you say to people who are concerned you
- 6:58Speaker 6: are taking season too much power and becoming an authoritarian.
- 7:03Speaker 7: President like we haven't had before.
- 7:05Speaker 1: No, I would hate them to think that I'm doing
- 7:09Speaker 1: one thing. I'm making America great again. We have a
- 7:11Speaker 1: country that was failing. We have a country that was
- 7:14Speaker 1: left at all over the world. We had a leader
- 7:16Speaker 1: that was grossly incompetent. He should have never been there.
- 7:20Speaker 1: The election was rigged, he should have never been there.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Our country suffered greatly, and now our country's coming back
- 7:26Speaker 1: like nobody can believe. I have editorials just today where
- 7:29Speaker 1: they're saying they've never seen anything like it.
- 7:30Speaker 2: They love it.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Our country's coming back and we're respected again.
- 7:34Speaker 5: President Trump also wasn't done there, calling out the LAFT
- 7:38Speaker 5: for what they had done to come after him on
- 7:40Speaker 5: revoking the security clearance have proven liars, saying, I don't
- 7:44Speaker 5: care if you like it or not. This is what
- 7:46Speaker 5: the President's going to do to keep America safe.
- 7:49Speaker 7: I'm asking the justification for going after people you don't like.
- 7:55Speaker 1: No, No, the people that I think are dishonest, it's
- 7:57Speaker 1: not that.
- 7:57Speaker 2: I don't I don't even know most of them. The
- 8:00Speaker 2: people that I.
- 8:00Speaker 7: Think people make you angry, there's not anger.
- 8:04Speaker 2: These are people that I think are very dishonest.
- 8:06Speaker 1: I don't think they're worthy of being able to go
- 8:10Speaker 1: into top secret information. I think that's fine, and Biden
- 8:14Speaker 1: did that with many of our people. But when you
- 8:17Speaker 1: look at it, these are people that I don't think
- 8:20Speaker 1: are worthy of That's my decision.
- 8:21Speaker 2: It's not a question of anger.
- 8:23Speaker 5: By the way, these are several people who flat out
- 8:26Speaker 5: lied and use the security clearance to lie to the
- 8:28Speaker 5: American voters and tell them that the hunter Byden laptop
- 8:32Speaker 5: was quote Russian disinformation. Now, one of the main things
- 8:36Speaker 5: the President wanted to get across was that we are
- 8:38Speaker 5: respected in the world. Again, the president is he described
- 8:42Speaker 5: it couldn't even walk up a flight of stairs.
- 8:46Speaker 3: Well.
- 8:46Speaker 5: Donald Trump also talked about Biden's security clearances and why
- 8:50Speaker 5: he believes he shouldn't have them.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Biden did something to me, and I did something to Biden.
- 8:56Speaker 1: And you know why I did it because he's grossly incompetent.
- 8:59Speaker 1: That's not a man that you be allowed to be
- 9:01Speaker 1: looking at things that are very confidential. But what because
- 9:03Speaker 1: it's in seventy one he is a man that used
- 9:05Speaker 1: an autopen to sign very important documents. Now, who really
- 9:10Speaker 1: is did do you think he knew what that they
- 9:12Speaker 1: were using an autopen. I mean, he used an autopen
- 9:16Speaker 1: to sign very very important documents. And so those are
- 9:22Speaker 1: really the questions you should be asking, what do you
- 9:24Speaker 1: think of the autopen? Who wielded the autopen, because whoever
- 9:28Speaker 1: that person.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Was, think of it.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Whoever the person that wielded the autopen, he was really
- 9:34Speaker 1: the president of the United States, because I don't think
- 9:37Speaker 1: I don't think that Biden knew.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Anything about it.
- 9:39Speaker 5: I don't think Biden knew anything about it. Referencing the autopen.
- 9:44Speaker 5: ABC News wasn't done there with their propaganda. However, when
- 9:48Speaker 5: they decided to ask the president, hey, like, are you.
- 9:51Speaker 3: Using your powers for personal revenge?
- 9:54Speaker 6: Are you using your powers as president to get personal revenge?
- 9:59Speaker 2: No, I'll tell you what.
- 10:00Speaker 1: I'll tell you what you're really not asking, and you
- 10:03Speaker 1: should be asking. There has never been a president in
- 10:07Speaker 1: this country in the history that was persecuted like I
- 10:11Speaker 1: was persecuted by really crooked people, dishonest, horrible people.
- 10:17Speaker 2: And has been proven.
- 10:18Speaker 1: So when you say I'm treating people rough, I'm not
- 10:22Speaker 1: treating people rup. I was treated worse than any president
- 10:25Speaker 1: in the history of our country. And you know, people
- 10:28Speaker 1: figured well maybe that's it. Finally we got you know,
- 10:31Speaker 1: he's leaving town. There goes to helicopter, and then I
- 10:34Speaker 1: came back. And I came back because I have tremendous support.
- 10:40Speaker 1: You know, when you went an election like I wanted,
- 10:42Speaker 1: and you will admit, I won all seven swing states.
- 10:45Speaker 2: I won the popular vote.
- 10:46Speaker 1: I won seven hundred of let's see, two thousand, seven
- 10:50Speaker 1: hundred and fifty districts compared to five hundred districts. That's
- 10:55Speaker 1: why the map is all read. And those people feel
- 10:59Speaker 1: that I was treated unfairly. Now.
- 11:01Speaker 5: The President was also asked a question by ABC News
- 11:05Speaker 5: about Doge, of course in a negative light. The President
- 11:08Speaker 5: fought back on that one as well, saying this.
- 11:12Speaker 6: Did Doge go too far, too fast, too reckless.
- 11:15Speaker 1: No, I think those has been saved. One hundred and
- 11:18Speaker 1: fifty billion dollars billion we saved. That's a lot of money.
- 11:23Speaker 1: There's also a lot of things right now under investigation
- 11:26Speaker 1: which is going to increase that amount by a lot.
- 11:29Speaker 1: That's a tremendous amount of money. There were some things
- 11:32Speaker 1: where when I heard about them, I put them back,
- 11:35Speaker 1: as you know, there are things that I'm.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Considering right now putting back.
- 11:39Speaker 1: But overall, we've saved hundreds of billions of dollars.
- 11:42Speaker 6: Well, the original promise was two trillion, went to one trillion,
- 11:44Speaker 6: out to one hundred and fifty million at heading now.
- 11:46Speaker 1: What it's going to be because we have things that
- 11:48Speaker 1: are at a very high level that are being looked
- 11:51Speaker 1: at right now. We also found tremendous waste, fraud and abuse.
- 11:54Speaker 2: As you know, we found a lot of fraud.
- 11:57Speaker 1: There was a lot of fraud, Fraudulent things were taken place, and.
- 12:01Speaker 2: We ended that. And those people are going to be suffering.
- 12:04Speaker 3: Me just the president.
- 12:05Speaker 5: Clearly, they are stating that he's doing exactly what the
- 12:08Speaker 5: American people want him to do. And when it comes
- 12:11Speaker 5: to dogs, they love the fact the President is saving money.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Now.
- 12:14Speaker 5: Finally, on a foreign affairs issue, the President was asked
- 12:18Speaker 5: about Vladimir Putin and Russia and Ukraine, and here is
- 12:22Speaker 5: what the President had to say.
- 12:24Speaker 6: It does feel like something's happening after that meeting with
- 12:27Speaker 6: Zelensky in Saint Peter's.
- 12:29Speaker 7: You posted this on social media.
- 12:31Speaker 6: There was no reason for Putin to be shooting missiles
- 12:34Speaker 6: into civilian areas and cities and towns over the last
- 12:37Speaker 6: few days.
- 12:37Speaker 2: It makes me think that those part of my posts.
- 12:40Speaker 6: But you're right, that was a part of a post,
- 12:42Speaker 6: and it says it makes me think that maybe he
- 12:45Speaker 6: doesn't want to.
- 12:46Speaker 7: Stop the war.
- 12:46Speaker 2: He's just tapping me along. Yeah, that's possible.
- 12:49Speaker 1: He might be. He could be tapping me along a
- 12:52Speaker 1: little bit. I would say that he would like to
- 12:56Speaker 1: stop the war. I think that if it weren't for me,
- 13:00Speaker 1: I think he'd wanted.
- 13:00Speaker 2: To take over the whole country.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Personally, I always felt so when I left, there wasn't
- 13:06Speaker 1: even a chance that this would happen. When Biden got involved,
- 13:11Speaker 1: I won't say whether or not he handled it properly,
- 13:13Speaker 1: but obviously it wasn't good because the war started.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Putin went in. The war started.
- 13:19Speaker 1: I believe that Putin wanted to get all of you
- 13:22Speaker 1: once he went in, And I think part of the
- 13:23Speaker 1: reason he went and he saw what happened in Afghanistan.
- 13:26Speaker 1: How incompetent, how incompetently million all these guys handled that.
- 13:30Speaker 1: It was one of the greatest embarrassments of our lifetimes,
- 13:33Speaker 1: but maybe in the history of our country.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Okay, so Putin went in. I think Putin wanted all
- 13:38Speaker 2: of Ukraine.
- 13:39Speaker 1: I think if I didn't win the election, he would
- 13:42Speaker 1: have gotten all of Ukraine.
- 13:44Speaker 2: I think he would have taken all of you Crade.
- 13:45Speaker 1: I think his first choice never with me. He would
- 13:48Speaker 1: have never gone in with this group of losers.
- 13:52Speaker 2: He went in.
- 13:52Speaker 1: He saw what happened in Afghanistan. He said, Wow, this
- 13:55Speaker 1: is my chance. Because it was always the apple of
- 13:58Speaker 1: his eye. I talked to him, Ukraine was the apple of
- 14:00Speaker 1: his eye. I think he wanted the whole country.
- 14:03Speaker 7: You've said them once of me.
- 14:04Speaker 1: I do believe that he's willing to stop the fighting.
- 14:10Speaker 7: Don't forget he wants You think Vladimir Putin wants peace.
- 14:14Speaker 2: I think he does. Yes, I think it does.
- 14:17Speaker 7: I think he was a reigning missiles.
- 14:18Speaker 1: I think he really his his dream was to take
- 14:22Speaker 1: over the whole country.
- 14:24Speaker 2: I think because of me he's not going to do that.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Because of me, he's not going to do it.
- 14:29Speaker 5: And as for the meeting, was the Lenscape the president
- 14:31Speaker 5: summed up the change of heart this way I.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Want to turn.
- 14:36Speaker 6: I was just in Rome and to that moving photograph
- 14:41Speaker 6: of you and Presidents Lensky sitting in Saint Peter's Basilica
- 14:44Speaker 6: talking peace.
- 14:45Speaker 7: It went around the world.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Sure, take us into that moment.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Well, look, the Ukraine is a very serious, very tough situation,
- 14:56Speaker 1: and this is Biden's war.
- 14:57Speaker 2: This is not my war.
- 14:58Speaker 1: But I want to see if I can sell of it,
- 15:00Speaker 1: because probably close to five thousand young soldiers a week.
- 15:06Speaker 2: Of being killed, Russian and Ukrainian.
- 15:09Speaker 1: We also spend a tremendous amount of money in Ukraine,
- 15:12Speaker 1: and Europe should be spending much more than us than
- 15:15Speaker 1: not just spending much less. It's been badly handled by
- 15:18Speaker 1: the Biden administration. Has been badly handled all the way around,
- 15:22Speaker 1: all the way around that moment. The moment was a
- 15:25Speaker 1: moment of solace in a sense, because tremendous numbers of
- 15:31Speaker 1: people are dying. A lot of his people are dying,
- 15:33Speaker 1: They're being killed, and I feel very badly about it.
- 15:37Speaker 1: I feel very badly about That's a war that would
- 15:39Speaker 1: have never happened if I were president, and it didn't
- 15:41Speaker 1: happen for four years, it was never even a.
- 15:44Speaker 2: Thought of it happening.
- 15:45Speaker 5: President Trump making it clear that he's got a lot
- 15:48Speaker 5: to do, that he has a lot that he's focused on,
- 15:50Speaker 5: and that he's delivering for the American people and trying
- 15:53Speaker 5: to stop a senseless war in Ukraine.
- 15:56Speaker 3: All of this in one hundred days.
- 15:59Speaker 5: So the question now is what's gonna happen in the
- 16:02Speaker 5: next hundred days. Well, the good news here is we're
