- 0:24Speaker 2: Listening to me show.
- 0:38Speaker 3: I want joy joy.
- 0:59Speaker 2: You know you.
- 1:25Speaker 4: Turn to turn the mouth, the turn you probably got
- 1:44Speaker 4: to turn out, turn out to turn al the money up.
- 1:55Speaker 5: Come come out your.
- 2:00Speaker 6: Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 7: Good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 8: You all listening to the voice, come on dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 8: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 7: Okay.
- 2:14Speaker 8: I want to share something with you that I had
- 2:17Speaker 8: to come to the realization one time, and even in
- 2:20Speaker 8: the reinvention of myself right now, I've had to come
- 2:23Speaker 8: to that and I want to.
- 2:24Speaker 7: Share it with you today. Give it to you.
- 2:27Speaker 8: I want to tell you about something that a lot
- 2:30Speaker 8: of people do in their life and I want you
- 2:33Speaker 8: to be aware of it. Here it is, don't get
- 2:37Speaker 8: stuck on yourself. You could be wrong.
- 2:40Speaker 6: You know.
- 2:45Speaker 8: I said, don't get stuck on yourself. You could be wrong.
- 2:51Speaker 6: You know.
- 2:54Speaker 7: The reason I'm saying this is.
- 2:56Speaker 8: Because people have a tendency to once they make a
- 3:03Speaker 8: decision about something, or once they decide to go a
- 3:06Speaker 8: certain path, they go against all everything anything. Anybody says
- 3:13Speaker 8: anything anybody might do, any other ruling they may come across.
- 3:20Speaker 8: They shun advice, they don't listen to counsel. They just
- 3:28Speaker 8: I made the decision, I'm gonna do it anyway. Don't
- 3:34Speaker 8: get stuck on yourself. You could be wrong, you know.
- 3:39Speaker 8: Now here's a sure fire way to tell if you're wrong.
- 3:45Speaker 8: If you don't see any movement in the direction you've chosen,
- 3:53Speaker 8: if you don't see anything going right in that decision,
- 4:00Speaker 8: if you feel as though you're in a rut, if
- 4:05Speaker 8: the wall you're climbing seems so insurmountable that you ain't
- 4:11Speaker 8: even moving an inch, and every time you turn around
- 4:15Speaker 8: you keep getting knocked by down, knocked back down. Don't
- 4:18Speaker 8: get stuck on yourself. You know you could be wrong,
- 4:20Speaker 8: you know. See, that's why it's important for people to
- 4:25Speaker 8: always be open to the reinvention of yourself. You know,
- 4:30Speaker 8: you cannot be afraid to reinvent yourself. In other words,
- 4:36Speaker 8: you can't be afraid to change. Change is necessary when
- 4:41Speaker 8: it comes to growth. There is no growth without change.
- 4:47Speaker 8: The more you know, the older you look, that is
- 4:52Speaker 8: no growth without change. If you're heading in a direction,
- 4:57Speaker 8: it ain't nothing going right in your life.
- 4:59Speaker 7: Could it be the direction.
- 5:02Speaker 8: If you're climbing and you're making no headway, could it
- 5:05Speaker 8: be the wrong direction?
- 5:08Speaker 7: Could you have possibly made the wrong choice.
- 5:10Speaker 8: Don't get stuck on yourself because you done made the
- 5:13Speaker 8: wrong suf. It's okay to forgive yourself. It's okay to
- 5:17Speaker 8: let yourself off the hook. It's even smarter sometimes to
- 5:20Speaker 8: admit that you were wrong. You ever met somebody ain't
- 5:23Speaker 8: ever wrong. Have you ever met somebody you talk to?
- 5:27Speaker 8: They ain't ever wrong about nothing? Man, They just it's
- 5:30Speaker 8: they way or the highway. It's this is my way,
- 5:33Speaker 8: this is the I know people like that, stuck on
- 5:36Speaker 8: them power trips and all like that. You know what
- 5:38Speaker 8: I had to learn how to do. I had to
- 5:40Speaker 8: learn how to let them go on them power trips.
- 5:43Speaker 8: But listen to this. Though you're not taking me on
- 5:45Speaker 8: that trip. Though you going on that trip by yourself,
- 5:49Speaker 8: I'm going in the right direction. I decided to stop
- 5:53Speaker 8: the way. Okay, listen to this person, this person, I
- 5:57Speaker 8: decided to stop doing business the way I was doing business.
- 6:02Speaker 8: I decided to stop to allow business being done around
- 6:05Speaker 8: me the way business was being done around me. You
- 6:09Speaker 8: know the best decision I made was to allow for
- 6:13Speaker 8: God to have some say so and to offer me
- 6:19Speaker 8: his direction. I have found him to be a better
- 6:22Speaker 8: driver than anyone else I know. I have found him
- 6:27Speaker 8: to know more about the man he made than anybody
- 6:32Speaker 8: else who's merely associating with me. I have found it
- 6:36Speaker 8: to be a fact that my maker knows more about
- 6:41Speaker 8: the vehicle he created than does anybody else. If your
- 6:45Speaker 8: Chevy break, don't you take it to Chevy. You don't
- 6:49Speaker 8: take your Forward when it breaks down to a Toyota dealership.
- 6:53Speaker 8: They not gonna know everything that the Ford dealership would
- 6:56Speaker 8: know about the vehicle. You know why, because they're not
- 6:59Speaker 8: the maker of it. So now, why are you letting?
- 7:03Speaker 8: You're letting your life being led, controlled and guided by
- 7:07Speaker 8: somebody other than your maker. I'm just asking you to
- 7:12Speaker 8: let's all take a common sense look at this. So,
- 7:15Speaker 8: if going to your maker is the best way, the
- 7:17Speaker 8: best decision I made in my business was take over
- 7:21Speaker 8: my brand myself and to allow the maker of this
- 7:26Speaker 8: brand see without God, I'm none of this.
- 7:29Speaker 7: I'm none of this.
- 7:29Speaker 8: I want you to clearly understand I ain't none of
- 7:32Speaker 8: this without him. I wish I could have the guts
- 7:37Speaker 8: to reach back there and pat myself on the back
- 7:39Speaker 8: for what I've accomplished in my life.
- 7:41Speaker 7: I wish I had the guts, I wish.
- 7:43Speaker 8: The nerve of me because I know for a fact
- 7:48Speaker 8: that there is no way that I could have manufactured
- 7:51Speaker 8: the life that I have. I could not even have
- 7:54Speaker 8: thought of it. It's no way I could have told
- 7:57Speaker 8: you that this was the route I was gonna take
- 7:59Speaker 8: and this is the outcome because of it.
- 8:01Speaker 7: I had no idea, no clue.
- 8:04Speaker 8: The one thing I had, though, was an unshakable faith
- 8:08Speaker 8: in God. I had an un and I just kept
- 8:13Speaker 8: believing in him. I kept believing that he had something
- 8:17Speaker 8: more for me. And then when I touched base with
- 8:20Speaker 8: him and asked him to show me what it is
- 8:22Speaker 8: what he had for me, Tada, the magic show began.
- 8:26Speaker 8: Because you know what he did. He took all my
- 8:29Speaker 8: natural abilities that he had given to me, This gift
- 8:32Speaker 8: that he gave me, that he poured into me at birth,
- 8:35Speaker 8: that same gift that he poured into you at birth.
- 8:38Speaker 8: The moment you go to him and let him show
- 8:41Speaker 8: you that gift, and then guess what. Once he takes
- 8:45Speaker 8: what he naturally put in you and put his super
- 8:49Speaker 8: his superpowers. On top of that, then you have some
- 8:52Speaker 8: supernatural things going on in your life and you may
- 8:55Speaker 8: not be feeling me. I'm cool with that, but I
- 9:00Speaker 8: done have some supernatural things happen to me.
- 9:04Speaker 7: Every day I wake up.
- 9:06Speaker 8: Some supernatural the man, the rewards of my life, the
- 9:10Speaker 8: awards of my life, the accomplishments, the how I'm working,
- 9:14Speaker 8: the how I manage it all, all that ain't nothing
- 9:17Speaker 8: but God. That ain't nothing but God. You can't even
- 9:19Speaker 8: explain this schedule to people. Sometimes when people ask me, Steve,
- 9:23Speaker 8: how do you do it? I go, well, this is
- 9:25Speaker 8: when I manage my time. Then at the end of
- 9:26Speaker 8: when I get through, I say, hey, man, you know
- 9:28Speaker 8: what I need to tell y'all for real, it's God.
- 9:30Speaker 8: I don't really know, but I'm letting him manage me.
- 9:33Speaker 8: So he handling it. He ain't gonna put no more
- 9:36Speaker 8: on me than I can bear. Listen to me, y'all,
- 9:38Speaker 8: don't be afraid to reinvent yourself and remember this. Don't
- 9:42Speaker 8: get stuck on yourself because you could be wrong. You know,
- 9:47Speaker 8: you absolutely could be wrong. If you don't tie this
- 9:51Speaker 8: to your gift, you will be struggling the rest of
- 9:55Speaker 8: your life.
- 9:56Speaker 9: You're listening Morning show.
- 10:01Speaker 6: Wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up.

- 13:43Speaker 12: you're listening morning show.
- 13:46Speaker 1: It is time now to run that prank back. What
- 13:48Speaker 1: you got, nephew?
- 13:50Speaker 6: Can we use your casket?
- 13:52Speaker 14: Y'all? Man? Come on, hello, Vicky, Vicky, Vicky, how you doing?
- 13:59Speaker 5: Are you?
- 14:00Speaker 14: Are you? Are you the niece of your aunt? Yes? Okay?
- 14:06Speaker 14: And you now your aunt passed away? How many? How
- 14:08Speaker 14: many years ago?
- 14:09Speaker 15: Your aunt passed it was about five years ago.
- 14:11Speaker 14: Okay, listen, I'm over here at the funeral home. My
- 14:15Speaker 14: sister just passed away, and uh, they gave me your
- 14:19Speaker 14: phone number. We're going through a little bit of a
- 14:21Speaker 14: situation here, did you guys, aren't your aunt was a
- 14:24Speaker 14: heavyset woman. Is that right?
- 14:25Speaker 5: Yes?
- 14:25Speaker 14: She was? Okay? Did they have to put her in
- 14:28Speaker 14: a in a Did they have a build a special
- 14:30Speaker 14: casket for her?
- 14:32Speaker 16: Yeah?
- 14:33Speaker 14: Okay, that's what we're kind of going through with my sister.
- 14:36Speaker 14: We ordered a special casket for for for my sister,
- 14:41Speaker 14: and I'm assuming this is the same thing that you
- 14:44Speaker 14: guys went through. I've called several of her children, but
- 14:48Speaker 14: I wasn't able to get in touch with anybody. But
- 14:50Speaker 14: the funeral home actually had your name on file as well,
- 14:53Speaker 14: so they gave me your number where I will be
- 14:55Speaker 14: able to talk to you. Is that is that? Okay?
- 14:58Speaker 17: Yeah, that's okay. You can speak to me. But you
- 15:01Speaker 17: know what seems to be a problem.
- 15:02Speaker 14: Well, listen, we the funeral is actually in two days, okay,
- 15:08Speaker 14: and we ordered one of those special caskets, but it
- 15:11Speaker 14: doesn't look like it's going to be in for another week,
- 15:14Speaker 14: so you know, it's almost like we're gonna, we're gonna,
- 15:16Speaker 14: we're not gonna have a casket for her, you know,
- 15:20Speaker 14: for the funeral. And you know, like I said, the
- 15:23Speaker 14: funeral home told us about you know that you guys
- 15:25Speaker 14: were the last ones that ordered a casket of that size,
- 15:29Speaker 14: and you know, me and the rest of the family
- 15:32Speaker 14: has been you know, we've been trying to figure out
- 15:33Speaker 14: what to do and what to do. Do you think
- 15:35Speaker 14: it's any way possible we can borrow the casket that
- 15:40Speaker 14: your aim is in, and then when the casket comes
- 15:44Speaker 14: in that we ordered, we can put her in that
- 15:47Speaker 14: casket and put her back down to rest like she's
- 15:50Speaker 14: always been. Do you think that's right? Hello?
- 15:55Speaker 17: Hello, if you think, repeat yourself, what exactly are you
- 16:00Speaker 17: asking me?
- 16:01Speaker 14: Well, what I'm saying is, do you think we can
- 16:03Speaker 14: borrow your Ai'm casket? Because you know, the funerals in
- 16:07Speaker 14: two days and the casket is not going to be
- 16:10Speaker 14: in in order for us to be to bury her
- 16:12Speaker 14: in a in a casket for you know, to accommodate
- 16:15Speaker 14: her side. That's what I'm asking. What kind of is this.
- 16:18Speaker 17: You're talking about? First of all, who is this?
- 16:21Speaker 6: Okay?
- 16:22Speaker 14: No, my name is Larry, Like I said, my name
- 16:24Speaker 14: is Larry. I got you. I got you guys. Like
- 16:26Speaker 14: I said, I tried to call some of her kids,
- 16:29Speaker 14: but nobody ever picked up when I called. Had her
- 16:33Speaker 14: niece's number on file too. You you are her niece, Vicky, right?
- 16:37Speaker 17: Yes, I am.
- 16:38Speaker 14: Okay, Well that's what I'm saying. Do you think that
- 16:41Speaker 14: maybe you can talk to the children and see if
- 16:44Speaker 14: we can maybe use that particular casket?
- 16:47Speaker 17: Oh okay, wait a minute, what the talking about this?
- 16:50Speaker 17: First of all, who is this you? You gotta be
- 16:53Speaker 17: losing your mind if you think I'm gonna let you
- 16:55Speaker 17: dig up my ami for just to bury your notes.
- 16:58Speaker 14: But I and where you're coming from. But what I'm
- 17:01Speaker 14: trying to say is that we don't have a casket
- 17:03Speaker 14: big enough, and they would they let us know that
- 17:06Speaker 14: you guys were the last ones that had a casket
- 17:09Speaker 14: that you know.
- 17:09Speaker 17: You gotta do with us? That's your true stuff out?
- 17:15Speaker 14: No, No, well, okay, First of all, what I'm trying
- 17:18Speaker 14: to do is this the family been grieving pretty hard,
- 17:21Speaker 14: and I just wanted to make sure that the funeral will.
- 17:23Speaker 17: Be right, and it ain't gonna be right, and we
- 17:25Speaker 17: don't have bring my family gonna feel digging my amy,
- 17:29Speaker 17: you lost your They don't call.
- 17:31Speaker 13: Me with this.
- 17:32Speaker 17: Who is the funeral home that gave you my number
- 17:37Speaker 17: to ask me to use the casket so you can
- 17:39Speaker 17: bury your sister. Who is the name of that person?
- 17:42Speaker 14: I can't remember, but it was it was a guy.
- 17:44Speaker 14: The funeral director let me know that you guys had
- 17:47Speaker 14: went through a situation where you had to bury your
- 17:50Speaker 14: your your aunt.
- 17:51Speaker 15: Like I said, I what's your name again?
- 17:54Speaker 14: My name is Larry?
- 17:55Speaker 17: Okay, lad? This is this is I don't know what
- 17:59Speaker 17: you my know, but to call me asking you just don't.
- 18:02Speaker 17: Can you believe us? They call here asking me so
- 18:05Speaker 17: can they dig up and so they can bury their
- 18:08Speaker 17: Sister's not a fat don't have a cast.
- 18:12Speaker 14: No, that's your fault. No, I understand, it's not your fault.
- 18:17Speaker 14: What I'm trying to say is will y'all show some
- 18:19Speaker 14: sympathy and some love for what you are family going
- 18:23Speaker 14: through because we don't have a cask. Like I say,
- 18:25Speaker 14: my sister, my sister was was you know, whether if
- 18:27Speaker 14: the heavens was a hemisphe walt? Oh good?
- 18:30Speaker 17: You know, my condoss go out to you and your family.
- 18:33Speaker 17: You know, I'm trying to be as reserved as I
- 18:36Speaker 17: can with this whole situation. But do you understand what
- 18:39Speaker 17: kind of stupid you're asking me right now to actually
- 18:42Speaker 17: dig up my.
- 18:43Speaker 15: Aunt, who was armed, who's been a Welt for five.
- 18:46Speaker 17: Years, because bury your sister.
- 18:53Speaker 14: Like this. If we you you ain't ain't gonna know,
- 18:57Speaker 14: she ain't gonna.
- 18:57Speaker 15: Know where you for you to say to me, what
- 19:03Speaker 15: stupid talking smoking crack, what don't know?
- 19:10Speaker 14: First of all, you know what I First of all,
- 19:12Speaker 14: I appreciate you trying to work with me, but I
- 19:14Speaker 14: want to say this you you don't even have the
- 19:16Speaker 14: authority to make that diseasion if you give me one
- 19:19Speaker 14: of the numbers to one of your cousins.
- 19:22Speaker 17: Because I was really trying to be nice and be calm.
- 19:25Speaker 17: But guess what, we're not doing this stupid. I'm trying
- 19:28Speaker 17: to be nice to you and tell and trying to
- 19:30Speaker 17: help you out, but no, you want me to get
- 19:32Speaker 17: ignorance and act stupid. I was trying to be nice

- 39:22Speaker 9: You're listening Hardy Morning Show.
- 39:26Speaker 1: It's less than one hundred days until the election.
- 39:28Speaker 12: Guys, we all know that President Barack Obama and First
- 39:31Speaker 12: Lady Michelle Obama have officially endorsed VP Kamala Harris for president.
- 39:36Speaker 12: The Kamala Harris campaign has raised two hundred million dollars
- 39:41Speaker 12: I will say it again, two hundred million dollisons last week.
- 39:44Speaker 12: And her poll numbers, yes, they are on the rise. Meanwhile,
- 39:49Speaker 12: former President Trump implored Christians attending a summit hosted by
- 39:53Speaker 12: a conservative group called Turning Point Action to vote in November. Now,
- 39:58Speaker 12: this is what Trump said. He said, if they vote
- 40:00Speaker 12: in November, they wouldn't have to cast a ballot again.
- 40:04Speaker 1: You got that.
- 40:05Speaker 12: If the November, they wouldn't have to cast a ballot
- 40:08Speaker 12: again if he wins the presidency, because it'll be fixed.
- 40:13Speaker 6: Wait wait, wait, wait, listen.
- 40:14Speaker 1: Uh huh.
- 40:15Speaker 10: He said, if we're not okay, so if we're not
- 40:19Speaker 10: voting again, so you just forever.
- 40:24Speaker 1: No more democracy. He's a dictator to do that. On
- 40:29Speaker 1: day one.
- 40:32Speaker 12: You gotta believe. He says that youve got to believe him. Okay,
- 40:36Speaker 12: so let me tell you what this Christian. Let me
- 40:39Speaker 12: tell you what this Christian gonna do in November. Come on,
- 40:42Speaker 12: I am I am voting for Kamala Harris in November.
- 40:46Speaker 6: That's what I am doing. And I know a bunch
- 40:48Speaker 6: of more Christians who will be doing the same thing.
- 40:51Speaker 11: Let me speak up two times. See, first of all,
- 40:53Speaker 11: I'm a Christian as well. So you say I'm talking
- 40:55Speaker 11: to all the Christians, you mean you're talking to me.
- 40:57Speaker 11: I will let you know right now me you don't
- 40:59Speaker 11: even serve the same guy. I don't know who you're talking.
- 41:03Speaker 6: I have no idea.
- 41:04Speaker 11: I look, my God, don't add like this. My God,
- 41:06Speaker 11: don't do this.
- 41:08Speaker 10: When did he all of a sudden become so biblical.
- 41:12Speaker 6: I've never seen religion with him.
- 41:14Speaker 1: I've never seen it, Remember you of the Bible upside down?
- 41:17Speaker 7: All right?
- 41:18Speaker 12: He also said Christians, get out and vote. Just this time.
- 41:22Speaker 12: You won't have to do it anymore. In four more years,
- 41:24Speaker 12: you know what, it'll be fixed. It'll be fine. You
- 41:27Speaker 12: won't have to vote anymore, my beautiful Christian.
- 41:31Speaker 13: Yes, okay, he said, so do he read this Bible
- 41:34Speaker 13: that we want not?
- 41:36Speaker 6: I got it upside down?
- 41:37Speaker 13: Okay, because I know one script is when the Lord says,
- 41:41Speaker 13: depart from me, I know you not he may he.
- 41:44Speaker 11: He don't know you.
- 41:47Speaker 1: He don't know you. But you guys have to pay attention.
- 41:51Speaker 12: Just like Shirley said, it is less than one hundred
- 41:54Speaker 12: days away from election day.
- 41:56Speaker 1: This is not a drill. We are not playing. It
- 41:59Speaker 1: is time.
- 41:59Speaker 12: If you need to register to vote, this is the
- 42:02Speaker 12: time to register to vote.
- 42:03Speaker 1: This is not a spectator sport.
- 42:05Speaker 12: You got to participate in this process.
- 42:09Speaker 6: This is not the Olympics.
- 42:11Speaker 1: Okay, now you got comfort.
- 42:15Speaker 10: Yeah, see, let's say get out and get you and
- 42:19Speaker 10: get registered and get ready. We're coming, the Christians are coming.
- 42:22Speaker 1: Get on that balance beam. Yes, we got to get
- 42:25Speaker 1: out and vote.
- 42:26Speaker 12: And you guys remember remember twenty sixteen election.
- 42:30Speaker 1: Hillary Clinton won the popular.
- 42:32Speaker 12: Vote, Popular's still lost the election. Trump was still the president.
- 42:37Speaker 12: So we have got to do your research. You've got
- 42:39Speaker 12: to pay attention, brush up on this electoral college process.
- 42:44Speaker 12: The main thing is your vote can make a difference
- 42:47Speaker 12: in the electoral college process.
- 42:50Speaker 1: That's the part that you're not understanding.
- 42:52Speaker 12: Wait, wait, a minute, Wait a minute, Carla, Hold up, Carlum.
- 42:55Speaker 1: Yeah you mean, are you saying that.
- 42:58Speaker 12: My one vote, I'm just one person, want my one
- 43:02Speaker 12: I'm one person in all of these people. My one
- 43:06Speaker 12: vote will count. Is that what you're saying?
- 43:08Speaker 1: That's what I said. I said what I said. You're
- 43:12Speaker 1: about to make me mad. I just vote, vote will count. Yes,

- 43:34Speaker 1: Right now, get your black man to the vote.
- 43:39Speaker 12: But I'm a black Christian though, so are you talking
- 43:41Speaker 12: to me specifically?
- 43:46Speaker 2: Yes?
- 43:47Speaker 1: You gotta do it, You gotta vote.
- 43:50Speaker 11: I Trump can give me three disciples. I believe them.
- 43:53Speaker 13: I don't think he can't even give us three disciples.
- 43:59Speaker 1: Get out and vote.
- 44:00Speaker 12: We need your votes. We need you to register. We

- 51:40Speaker 17: Baby, Just calm down. I got something to.
- 51:43Speaker 5: You.
- 51:43Speaker 14: Listen to me. Maybe you gotta listen to me. Are
- 51:46Speaker 14: you listening, Yes, listen to me real carefully. Okay, where

- 52:25Speaker 13: I dropped her? It's all right though, it's not. Though
- 52:30Speaker 13: you played too much, sir. I dropped your friend. You
- 52:33Speaker 13: said I dropped your.
- 52:35Speaker 10: Wife, because because because, because because J dropping a friend
- 52:39Speaker 10: don't mean that much.
- 52:41Speaker 6: When you drop a wife, that means something, you understand.

- 54:05Speaker 10: It could be yours. Buckle up and hold on tight.
- 54:07Speaker 10: We got it for you here. It is Strawberry.
- 54:09Speaker 12: Lettter thanking for you. Subject. He was next door with
- 54:13Speaker 12: the neighbor's sister. Dear Stephen Shirley, My husband and I
- 54:17Speaker 12: are in a bad place all because I found him
- 54:20Speaker 12: next door with my neighbor's sister. The lady calls to
- 54:23Speaker 12: tell me that my husband was complaining of chest pains.
- 54:27Speaker 12: I told her to dial nine one one, and she
- 54:30Speaker 12: said my husband didn't want to go to the hospital.
- 54:32Speaker 12: She also said my husband didn't want her to call me,
- 54:35Speaker 12: but she did anyway. I didn't ask questions until I
- 54:38Speaker 12: saw how my husband was doing. This strange woman was
- 54:41Speaker 12: standing outside of my neighbor's house. When I got home,
- 54:44Speaker 12: my husband was asleep on the neighbor's sofa. I woke
- 54:49Speaker 12: him up. I'm sorry I woke him up, and then
- 54:54Speaker 12: he started crying.
- 54:59Speaker 10: Here.
- 55:02Speaker 12: I asked if he was in any pain. He said
- 55:06Speaker 12: he was not in pain, and he told the woman
- 55:08Speaker 12: not to call or bother me. I told him to
- 55:11Speaker 12: walk home and he did. Nothing was wrong with him
- 55:15Speaker 12: except he was drunk. I went off on him, and
- 55:18Speaker 12: he said he could have died. And all I want
- 55:20Speaker 12: to do is questioning, question him about being next door
- 55:23Speaker 12: with a stranger. I went back to the neighbor's house
- 55:26Speaker 12: to talk to her. She said she's our neighbor's younger
- 55:29Speaker 12: sister and she's been house sitting while our neighbor is
- 55:32Speaker 12: in Honduras. She said she's been there two weeks and
- 55:35Speaker 12: she's met my husband, but not me. I asked her
- 55:38Speaker 12: how she got my number, and she said she's been
- 55:40Speaker 12: calling my husband before. She's seen me calling my husband before,
- 55:45Speaker 12: so he's been there before and she had reason to
- 55:47Speaker 12: remember my phone number. She was sober, so I wonder
- 55:50Speaker 12: why my husband was so drunk. Why did she feel
- 55:53Speaker 12: the need to remember my phone number. I have not
- 55:55Speaker 12: accused my husband of anything yet, just yet, because to
- 56:00Speaker 12: do a little more detective work on what's going on.
- 56:02Speaker 12: My husband said he never told the woman he was
- 56:04Speaker 12: having chest pains, so does she lie to get.
- 56:07Speaker 1: Me to come home? Was she setting him up to
- 56:11Speaker 1: get caught?
- 56:12Speaker 12: Yes, all of the above In this crazy, confusing letter,
- 56:16Speaker 12: I don't want to understand even what you want from us.
- 56:18Speaker 1: The real issue is that your husband shouldn't have been
- 56:21Speaker 1: over there in.
- 56:21Speaker 12: The first place. Okay, all he was was drunk. So
- 56:26Speaker 12: now that we know nothing is wrong with him, he
- 56:29Speaker 12: needs to come clean why he was over there. You're
- 56:31Speaker 12: asking all the wrong questions. Your neighbor's younger sister's been
- 56:35Speaker 12: there for two weeks house sitting, But what's your husband's excuse?
- 56:39Speaker 1: Why was he over there?
- 56:40Speaker 12: That's what you need to know, and those questions can
- 56:42Speaker 12: only come from him. He's been seeing the little sister
- 56:46Speaker 12: on the side, Isn't that obvious. He's just not going
- 56:49Speaker 12: to admit that. You can do all the detective work
- 56:51Speaker 12: you want to do, But I don't think it's going
- 56:54Speaker 12: to make much difference unless he tells his side too,
- 56:57Speaker 12: which he's not. Your husband got a lot of nerve
- 56:59Speaker 12: and he needs stop lying. That's all this is. Your
- 57:01Speaker 12: husband's just drunk and lying.
- 57:04Speaker 1: Tommy.
- 57:05Speaker 6: It's a lot of things. I don't know a lot
- 57:08Speaker 6: of things I think I do know. I think.
- 57:10Speaker 10: The biggest thing I really want to ask, what the
- 57:13Speaker 10: hell is your sister doing the hount doers? What is
- 57:15Speaker 10: she doing over there? What does she go over there for?
- 57:18Speaker 10: What is going on in huntingdurers that you're gone for
- 57:20Speaker 10: two weeks? Don't nobody go to hunting doers for two weeks?
- 57:22Speaker 10: But I mean, really, I've been on a lot of vacations.
- 57:25Speaker 10: It ain't never been huntders for two weeks. I don't
- 57:27Speaker 10: understand that part. But here's what I think, And y'all
- 57:30Speaker 10: tell me what y'all think about this. This is just
- 57:31Speaker 10: Tommy stalk. Now, Okay, here's what I do. Know that
- 57:35Speaker 10: your husband don't really like you. If your husband wake
- 57:38Speaker 10: up and see you and start crying, I really like you.
- 57:41Speaker 6: He don't. If the first thing he sees when he
- 57:44Speaker 6: opened his eyes is you and he just start crying,
- 57:46Speaker 6: you have got.
- 57:47Speaker 10: On his last damn nerve. He is so tied to you.
- 57:51Speaker 10: Now now now watch this, calling Shirley.
- 57:54Speaker 6: Watch this.
- 57:55Speaker 10: The man is over there and he sleep on the
- 57:58Speaker 10: couch and he been drinking. Okay, got that part. Here's
- 58:02Speaker 10: what I think. I don't think he has anything to
- 58:04Speaker 10: do with this little girl.
- 58:05Speaker 6: The system, what it is is he has nothing to
- 58:08Speaker 6: do with the system.
- 58:09Speaker 10: What it is, Shirley, is he got something to do
- 58:12Speaker 10: with the other lady that's out of town. That's where
- 58:16Speaker 10: he normally, the one that's in Honduras, he normally kicks
- 58:20Speaker 10: it with her. He been staying on that couch. He
- 58:23Speaker 10: go to that couch all the time. He go over
- 58:25Speaker 10: there and get drunk all the time. But what the
- 58:27Speaker 10: problem is he didne got drunk, went over there. The
- 58:29Speaker 10: lady ain't there, the sister there. The sister ain't used
- 58:32Speaker 10: to that, so she like, what the hell is this
- 58:33Speaker 10: man doing. I get that part. But the lady that's
- 58:35Speaker 10: in Honduras, they kick it all the time, and now
- 58:40Speaker 10: she's gone. I'm just telling you, Shirley, he ain't kicking
- 58:43Speaker 10: it with the sister. He kicking it with the lady
- 58:45Speaker 10: that's in Honduras. All right, So when you get drunk,
- 58:48Speaker 10: you walk your pattern, You walk right next door.
- 58:50Speaker 6: That's what you been going. You go over there to
- 58:52Speaker 6: hang out. But she's no longer there because she's out
- 58:54Speaker 6: of town.
- 58:55Speaker 10: Now when the sister get it, when she gets back,
- 58:57Speaker 10: things to be back to normal, and the wife won't
- 58:59Speaker 10: nobody to be calling you and you ain't gonna be
- 59:01Speaker 10: waking nobody up and the first thing they see is
- 59:03Speaker 10: you and start crying. You gotta understand, you can got
- 59:08Speaker 10: on him. I think he messing with the other lady.
- 59:13Speaker 10: That's what I think. He has a pattern. Well, he
- 59:15Speaker 10: has a pattern. He at the house, he gets lit,
- 59:17Speaker 10: He go next door, hang out with old girl. You know,
- 59:20Speaker 10: she wakes up cinema. I know, Shirley, But when you lit,
- 59:24Speaker 10: you lit. When you lit, you walk your pattern. He
- 59:26Speaker 10: walked his pattern. He normally go next door and hang out.
- 59:29Speaker 10: Y'all don't know what they've been doing. The sister has
- 59:31Speaker 10: no earthly ideas what the hell been going on. That's
- 59:34Speaker 10: why she didn't call. She said, you know, he not
- 59:37Speaker 10: going to die in here with me while I'm gonna watch.
- 59:39Speaker 10: That's all that is. He's fane. All you ladies out there,
- 59:45Speaker 10: All you ladies out there, if your man wake up
- 59:47Speaker 10: and see you and start crying, he do not like
- 59:49Speaker 10: you like that.
- 59:50Speaker 6: He don't. He don't. Don't. You didn'et got last.
- 59:56Speaker 1: Damn man, where were you gonna say?
- 59:59Speaker 5: Carlo?
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: Tell me? Like what you talking about? Willis?
- 1:00:03Speaker 6: Yeah, he hangs with the lady that owns the house.
- 1:00:08Speaker 6: That's who he hangs with.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: That's what we know theirs.
- 1:00:11Speaker 6: But if you drow, he don't remember that paulture.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: He has no memory.
- 1:00:19Speaker 11: No, we just.
- 1:00:20Speaker 6: Walking uplat and he normally walked.
- 1:00:23Speaker 12: But okay, all right, listen, we'll have part two of
- 1:00:26Speaker 12: the Strawberry Letter coming up at twenty three minutes after
- 1:00:29Speaker 12: the hour.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: We'll talk about it more and we'll hear from Junior
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: right after this.
- 1:00:32Speaker 6: I hate j'all. Don't have drunk thoughts.
- 1:00:36Speaker 9: You're listening Morning show.
- 1:00:39Speaker 12: All right, we're gonna recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:00:42Speaker 12: is he was next door with the neighbor's sister.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:00:45Speaker 12: A woman wrote in she and her husband are in
- 1:00:47Speaker 12: a bad place right now because she found her husband
- 1:00:50Speaker 12: next door with the neighbor's sister. The lady called to
- 1:00:57Speaker 12: tell her that her husband was complaining of chest pain,
- 1:01:00Speaker 12: so the wife told the woman to call nine one one,
- 1:01:04Speaker 12: but she said the husband didn't want to go to
- 1:01:07Speaker 12: the hospital. She said she didn't ask any questions. The
- 1:01:10Speaker 12: wife didn't. She just wanted to come over and see
- 1:01:13Speaker 12: how her husband was doing.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: She said.
- 1:01:14Speaker 12: This strange woman was standing outside of her neighbor's house
- 1:01:17Speaker 12: when she got home. The husband was asleep on the
- 1:01:20Speaker 12: neighbor's sofa. He wo She woke him up and he
- 1:01:25Speaker 12: started crying. She asked him for her baby. You in
- 1:01:31Speaker 12: any kind of pain? He said he was not in pain,
- 1:01:34Speaker 12: and he had told the woman not to call the wife.
- 1:01:37Speaker 6: Anybody, but huh, don't call right.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: The wife told the husband to walk home.
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: He did.
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: She said nothing was wrong with him. He was just drunk. Okay,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: he was just drunk. She said.
- 1:01:48Speaker 12: She went off on him and he was mad. He
- 1:01:51Speaker 12: told her he could have died, and all he wanted.
- 1:01:54Speaker 12: All she wanted to do was question him about being
- 1:01:56Speaker 12: next door. Well, yeah, yeah, I would question you as
- 1:01:59Speaker 12: your wife. What are you doing next door with a stranger?
- 1:02:03Speaker 12: What is going on here? So this was the owner
- 1:02:06Speaker 12: of the house. The neighbor was in Honduras. This was
- 1:02:09Speaker 12: her younger sister who was taking care of the house.
- 1:02:12Speaker 12: She was house sitting. Okay, do you understand what's going
- 1:02:16Speaker 12: on here? Because this is crazy, This letter is crazy.
- 1:02:19Speaker 12: But anyway, the h come to find out the sister
- 1:02:24Speaker 12: was there. The owner of the house, the neighbor was
- 1:02:26Speaker 12: in the Honduras, and the sister was sober and she
- 1:02:31Speaker 12: couldn't understand the wife couldn't whire her husband was so drunk,
- 1:02:34Speaker 12: and why did she remember her number and all this
- 1:02:36Speaker 12: other stuff, And the husband said he was never he
- 1:02:39Speaker 12: never told the woman, the younger sister that he was
- 1:02:42Speaker 12: having chest pain. So the wife wants to know did
- 1:02:45Speaker 12: she lie, did the sister lie to get her to
- 1:02:48Speaker 12: come over there, and was she trying to set the
- 1:02:51Speaker 12: husband up?
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: That's the question. Okay, Junior, Yes you got all of
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: the above.
- 1:02:57Speaker 13: Yeah, that's all crazy because I don't I don't know
- 1:03:01Speaker 13: why the wife don't have no questions, but I do.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: I have a lot of questions. Yeah, because I don't know.
- 1:03:07Speaker 13: How you set up there drunk with chest pains and
- 1:03:09Speaker 13: wake up crying. This is first of all, me and
- 1:03:12Speaker 13: Tommy don't know why a man over at another Your
- 1:03:15Speaker 13: wife tapped you on the shoulder on the sofa and
- 1:03:18Speaker 13: you take up and say, oh Banita, I start crying.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: No, Ain, you't crying because he got.
- 1:03:23Speaker 11: Because you know he caught.
- 1:03:24Speaker 13: But the wife said, I don't have no questions. I'm
- 1:03:27Speaker 13: trying to figure out how he's still alive. That's my
- 1:03:30Speaker 13: first question because I know I know Tash.
- 1:03:33Speaker 11: Can't do this call. I know you be the charpter,
- 1:03:36Speaker 11: it's over. Why is he still?
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: Where's them?
- 1:03:39Speaker 11: Here's a question.
- 1:03:40Speaker 13: Since you ain't got no questions, ma'am, here's a first question.
- 1:03:42Speaker 13: Where is the police? That's the first question. Where the
- 1:03:47Speaker 13: camera's at? Why y'all ain't on the news. This is
- 1:03:50Speaker 13: a story, matter of fact. Here's another question. Where don't bituary?
- 1:03:57Speaker 13: Where is no bituary? How come we ain't got this
- 1:03:59Speaker 13: on me? He was born in seventy four, he died
- 1:04:04Speaker 13: on July twenty.
- 1:04:05Speaker 11: Third, So we need something.
- 1:04:07Speaker 13: Wait, oh, bitu higna know who putting the program together?
- 1:04:11Speaker 13: That's another question for this funeral? Who putting the program together?
- 1:04:16Speaker 11: See, it's a bunch of questions. You ain't asking. It's
- 1:04:19Speaker 11: a question.
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: And one of the photos in the program is him
- 1:04:22Speaker 6: laying on the couch.
- 1:04:23Speaker 13: Over the couch in the program. Talk here has another question?
- 1:04:27Speaker 13: I have answers. You don't have no questions? Who over
- 1:04:29Speaker 13: the Who doing the eulogy?
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: That's what we need.
- 1:04:31Speaker 11: That that's a question we ain' answered.
- 1:04:33Speaker 13: That would either he had another question, who is the
- 1:04:36Speaker 13: person that say in my father's house, they're plenty of matches.
- 1:04:40Speaker 13: It was not so remember when you walk into the funeral,
- 1:04:44Speaker 13: somebody always up there.
- 1:04:45Speaker 11: In my father's house. They are mini match.
- 1:04:48Speaker 13: If it were not so, I wouldn't have told you

- 1:20:12Speaker 1: the show right after this.
- 1:20:14Speaker 9: You're listening Morning show?
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: This is our last break of the day, last break?
- 1:20:21Speaker 14: Yeah?
- 1:20:23Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: And Steve, yes, what do you think of today?
- 1:20:27Speaker 7: Well, now I'm ready my closing remarks.
- 1:20:30Speaker 8: Today, I'd like to talk to people about a question
- 1:20:33Speaker 8: that's oftentimes asked of me.
- 1:20:37Speaker 7: Steve, you always working, You always busy?
- 1:20:40Speaker 8: What are you doing? Why do you work like that?
- 1:20:43Speaker 8: Why are you always How do you do this? How
- 1:20:46Speaker 8: do you do that? And look, I'm not bragging here.
- 1:20:50Speaker 8: I get the same twenty four hours that everybody else gets.
- 1:20:53Speaker 8: I'm not awarded any more day in daylight than nobody else.
- 1:20:56Speaker 8: Sunrise for me just like it do for you. It's
- 1:20:59Speaker 8: set for me like it do for you. I don't
- 1:21:02Speaker 8: get no extra I can't control time. The Bible says
- 1:21:08Speaker 8: time and tide wakes on no man. It ticks for
- 1:21:11Speaker 8: me just like it ticks for you. What I want
- 1:21:14Speaker 8: to offer everybody, though, is a way to look at
- 1:21:16Speaker 8: this thing though, And it's a simple process. It's just
- 1:21:20Speaker 8: called time management. You actually have a say, soul in
- 1:21:27Speaker 8: what you do with the time that sufforded you.
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: Now here's the upside.
- 1:21:34Speaker 8: If God wakes you up in the morning, it is
- 1:21:38Speaker 8: a sign that God is not through with you yet,
- 1:21:42Speaker 8: which means that's still more for you to accomplish. Now,
- 1:21:47Speaker 8: us being the human beings that we are in the
- 1:21:49Speaker 8: creature that He created us to be, and the only
- 1:21:51Speaker 8: creature that He gave complete total of choice. So now
- 1:21:55Speaker 8: you get to decide what you do with this opportunity
- 1:22:00Speaker 8: that's been given to you on a daily basis.
- 1:22:03Speaker 7: I need your attention here.
- 1:22:05Speaker 8: You get to decide what you do with this blessing
- 1:22:10Speaker 8: called time that is presented to you every day. So
- 1:22:14Speaker 8: stop looking around at what somebody else got and always
- 1:22:17Speaker 8: talking about how they do this, how they do that,
- 1:22:19Speaker 8: when you have your own set of twenty four to
- 1:22:22Speaker 8: concern yourself with, and just maybe they got it going
- 1:22:27Speaker 8: on because they spending Ay twenty four a little bit different.
- 1:22:31Speaker 8: So I invite you all to start controlling your time management.
- 1:22:38Speaker 8: I'm inviting you all to start looking at how you
- 1:22:43Speaker 8: go about your day.
- 1:22:45Speaker 7: Now.
- 1:22:46Speaker 8: I got the three w's I'm gonna talk to you about.
- 1:22:49Speaker 8: It's the what you spend your time on, the way
- 1:22:52Speaker 8: you spend your time, and who you spend your time
- 1:22:55Speaker 8: with a whole That's the whole story, y'all. Time management.
- 1:23:01Speaker 8: All you have to do is answer these three questions.
- 1:23:05Speaker 8: What are you spending your time on, where are you
- 1:23:08Speaker 8: spending your time, and who are you spending it with.
- 1:23:13Speaker 7: It's the what, where, and who of time.
- 1:23:16Speaker 8: Management that I've started to concern myself with that began
- 1:23:20Speaker 8: to change my life.
- 1:23:22Speaker 7: See, what are you committed to.
- 1:23:25Speaker 8: What activity occupies your mental space, what activity occupies.
- 1:23:31Speaker 7: Your daily space? What are you committed to?
- 1:23:35Speaker 8: If God has given you this blessing of waking you
- 1:23:37Speaker 8: up every day because He has yet more for you
- 1:23:40Speaker 8: to receive, ask yourself a simple question. What are you
- 1:23:43Speaker 8: doing to move yourself in a direction to receive what
- 1:23:47Speaker 8: God has done for you, this incredible blessing called this
- 1:23:51Speaker 8: gift of life?
- 1:23:52Speaker 7: What have you done today?
- 1:23:54Speaker 15: Oh?
- 1:23:54Speaker 7: I know people don't like hearing this, but all you
- 1:23:57Speaker 7: got to do is ask yourself what.
- 1:24:00Speaker 8: Am I gonna do today? Where am I going today?
- 1:24:02Speaker 8: And who I'm gonna spend my day with? And watch
- 1:24:04Speaker 8: at the end of the day, you can determine whether
- 1:24:06Speaker 8: you're moving forward, sideways, standing still, or going bathwards, or
- 1:24:12Speaker 8: you can even just determine if you ain't going nowhere.
- 1:24:16Speaker 8: But people have to be honest with theyself. And this
- 1:24:19Speaker 8: ain't me saying I got it all together. This is
- 1:24:21Speaker 8: me talking to me all the time. I've got to
- 1:24:24Speaker 8: constantly monitor my time management, what occupies my mental space
- 1:24:29Speaker 8: and what occupies my daily space. If you hang with
- 1:24:33Speaker 8: people and all they do is gossip, guess what you're
- 1:24:35Speaker 8: gonna be a gossiper If you hang with people that's
- 1:24:39Speaker 8: always talking about business. You're gonna discuss business. If all
- 1:24:44Speaker 8: the friends you hang out with are only into physical
- 1:24:47Speaker 8: fitness and that's it, you're gonna go to jail.
- 1:24:50Speaker 7: You got to go to jail.
- 1:24:53Speaker 8: If everybody you hang out with shoot dice and gambled,
- 1:24:55Speaker 8: guess why y'all gonna be someone shooting dice and gambling. Now,
- 1:25:00Speaker 8: gambling is win some, lose some, but it's mostly lose some. Now,
- 1:25:05Speaker 8: hall it is to become a professional gambler because you
- 1:25:09Speaker 8: don't control enough of that situation.
- 1:25:12Speaker 7: So that's what you do. That's what you end up,
- 1:25:14Speaker 7: and that's who you running with.
- 1:25:15Speaker 6: Y'all.
- 1:25:15Speaker 8: You got to change the way you manage your time.
- 1:25:19Speaker 8: You got to start caring about this day. You got
- 1:25:22Speaker 8: to quit letting me all these days slip by where
- 1:25:24Speaker 8: you ain't doing nothing to progress yourself. You're not doing
- 1:25:28Speaker 8: anything to make yourself better. You gotta stop that. Come on, man,
- 1:25:33Speaker 8: God is inviting you to a life of abundance, and
- 1:25:36Speaker 8: he invites you to this life of abundance by waking
- 1:25:39Speaker 8: you up every day.
- 1:25:40Speaker 7: It's a fresh invitation. Every day. You got a ticket
- 1:25:45Speaker 7: to the ball.
- 1:25:46Speaker 8: Waking up is like having a ticket to the ball
- 1:25:49Speaker 8: every day.
- 1:25:50Speaker 7: You get to go to the met gala every day
- 1:25:53Speaker 7: you're invited.
- 1:25:55Speaker 8: Now, this gallon that you attend is up to you.
- 1:25:59Speaker 8: You have to determine what you're gonna do today, why
- 1:26:03Speaker 8: you're gonna spend your day, and who you gonna spend
- 1:26:05Speaker 8: your day with.
- 1:26:06Speaker 7: You have a say soul with that people that's locked up.
- 1:26:10Speaker 8: I know people who are locked up who have gotten
- 1:26:14Speaker 8: together and said, this is what we're gonna do today.
- 1:26:17Speaker 8: This is where we're gonna spend our time, and this
- 1:26:20Speaker 8: is who we're gonna hang with. I know some people
- 1:26:23Speaker 8: that have come out of prison and gotten better. So
- 1:26:27Speaker 8: what you're gonna do? I'm just asking you how you
- 1:26:31Speaker 8: gonna manage your day in your time? Those are my
- 1:26:34Speaker 8: clothing remarks today. I know I've upset some people. Sorry,
