- 2:04Speaker 1: good minding everybody. You'all listening to the voice, come on,
- 2:08Speaker 1: dig me nw one. It only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:11Speaker 1: radio show. Okay, here we go today, folks. This is
- 2:15Speaker 1: a good one because today I want to share with
- 2:19Speaker 1: you something that affects every living soul, and that one
- 2:25Speaker 1: thing is your attitude. This affects everyone. It is your attitude.
- 2:34Speaker 1: You know. I don't know if anyone's ever told you,
- 2:39Speaker 1: but I mean many of you who listen know this.
- 2:42Speaker 1: But there are a lot of people who don't understand
- 2:46Speaker 1: a positive attitude can bring about a change. A positive
- 2:53Speaker 1: attitude can bring about a change. Well, now here we
- 2:56Speaker 1: go with the nay says, well, Steve, what you mean
- 2:58Speaker 1: if I'm just positive? Being chained? My mama gone. What
- 3:01Speaker 1: me being positive got to do with that? Okay, now
- 3:04Speaker 1: listen to me carefully. A positive attitude can bring about change. Well, okay, Steve,
- 3:11Speaker 1: I hear you saying that, But they didn't fired me.
- 3:13Speaker 1: So now, what does my having a positive attitude have
- 3:16Speaker 1: to do with the fact that they fired me? Well,
- 3:21Speaker 1: one more time. A positive attitude can bring about change.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Or Steve, I set up in here and gave eight nine,
- 3:32Speaker 1: twelve years of my life to this man and he
- 3:35Speaker 1: just he cheated on me and walked out. Now what
- 3:37Speaker 1: does me being positive have to do with him cheating
- 3:41Speaker 1: on me? How that's gonna change that? Okay, here we
- 3:45Speaker 1: go again. A positive attitude can bring about change. Now
- 3:50Speaker 1: listen to the whole thing. Now, the positive attitude and
- 3:55Speaker 1: the change that can happen starts just to start. It
- 4:01Speaker 1: starts within you. See, life is ten percent of what
- 4:07Speaker 1: happens is what you do about what happens. Okay, you
- 4:11Speaker 1: gave twelve years of your life to this man. He
- 4:14Speaker 1: cheated and left you hold in the bag, the kids
- 4:16Speaker 1: and everything. Now, what does being positive have to do
- 4:20Speaker 1: with changing that? Or they came in and they fired you,
- 4:23Speaker 1: You lost your job, that you was a stellar performer
- 4:26Speaker 1: at But now, how does you having a positive attitude?
- 4:30Speaker 1: How does that change things for you? So far? You
- 4:34Speaker 1: can use any example. Here's what happens when you have
- 4:38Speaker 1: a positive attitude. What it produces within you is a
- 4:43Speaker 1: positive approach to life. And when you have a positive
- 4:47Speaker 1: attitude and a positive approach to life, it causes you
- 4:52Speaker 1: to be optimistic, to have a positive out look, to
- 4:57Speaker 1: expect things to eventually turn around, and and and and
- 5:02Speaker 1: turn into a positive That's very important because as the
- 5:06Speaker 1: law of attraction comes into play, if you think positive thoughts,
- 5:11Speaker 1: you attract positive things. If you think evil thoughts, you
- 5:17Speaker 1: attract evil to you. You know, if you want for nothing,
- 5:22Speaker 1: then nothing comes your way. If you want for a
- 5:25Speaker 1: positive attitude, if you want for positive results, if you
- 5:28Speaker 1: want for a great outcome, that's what you attract to you.
- 5:31Speaker 1: The change will begin within you. So let's take the
- 5:34Speaker 1: man that walked out your life and left you hold
- 5:37Speaker 1: in the bag. Here's a positive attitude. Okay, two things
- 5:42Speaker 1: have happened as positive here. Number one, you've ridd it
- 5:46Speaker 1: yourself of someone who is obviously going to be, if
- 5:50Speaker 1: not already been, toxic in your life, cause you many
- 5:54Speaker 1: restless nights, a lot of uncomfortable feelings, an uneasiness, not
- 5:59Speaker 1: sure in security. You've been going through it with this person,
- 6:02Speaker 1: whoever they are. Number One, that person has been released
- 6:06Speaker 1: from your life. Number Two, It allows you now to
- 6:10Speaker 1: have the someone who will treat you just the way
- 6:13Speaker 1: you want to be treated. That's the positive outlook, that's
- 6:17Speaker 1: the optimistic way. That's when you're a positive person. You
- 6:21Speaker 1: see the positive in things that happen to you, instead
- 6:24Speaker 1: of burying yourself under the hor's wrong with it, a
- 6:27Speaker 1: old woe is me now? Concept? See a positive attitude.
- 6:31Speaker 1: When they came in there and they fired you and
- 6:33Speaker 1: let you go, could this not have been just the
- 6:38Speaker 1: opening you needed to finally start on a new career
- 6:41Speaker 1: path that you've been talking about doing anyway? Could it
- 6:45Speaker 1: possibly be a brand new chance for you to get
- 6:48Speaker 1: the dream job or dream career of your choice. Could
- 6:52Speaker 1: it not possibly be the perfect opportunity now for you
- 6:57Speaker 1: to finally finally do something about that gift, about that
- 7:02Speaker 1: talent that God gave you, that thing that you love
- 7:05Speaker 1: to do. Could it not be the perfect time for
- 7:07Speaker 1: you to pursue that. But if you don't have a
- 7:09Speaker 1: positive attitude, then you lay there. Oh they finn to
- 7:14Speaker 1: come getting my house. Oh what I'm gonna do now?
- 7:17Speaker 1: All this unemployment ain't enough. Oh Lord, when this unemployment
- 7:21Speaker 1: run out, what am I gonna do? Then I won't
- 7:23Speaker 1: have nothing? And you old woe is me until you
- 7:27Speaker 1: become old woe is me. But if you take it
- 7:30Speaker 1: from the positive approach, some amazing things can happen in
- 7:34Speaker 1: your life. I will tell you on a personal note,
- 7:38Speaker 1: that's some of the most some of the best changes.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Some of the biggest moments in my life came after
- 7:44Speaker 1: a loss. So I don't want to go down on
- 7:47Speaker 1: the list, but boy, I could tell you. Let me
- 7:48Speaker 1: let me tell you something. When they didn't want me
- 7:50Speaker 1: on the radio anymore in La, when they didn't when
- 7:54Speaker 1: they went it was sick of the way I did
- 7:56Speaker 1: radio out there, and they wanted me gone. And on
- 8:00Speaker 1: twenty third, two thousand and five, when my when when
- 8:05Speaker 1: when my deal was done? With the beat out in La? Okay,
- 8:13Speaker 1: look what happened though, y'all was gone in May. But
- 8:16Speaker 1: in September nineteenth I started to Steve Harvey Radio Network
- 8:20Speaker 1: with four cities. You see. But I didn't go old
- 8:24Speaker 1: woe is me? I said, Oh, Okay, God must have
- 8:28Speaker 1: something else from it, then, because if He didn't remove
- 8:31Speaker 1: me from this, that must be something else. Same thing
- 8:34Speaker 1: can happened when you lose and you and you and
- 8:36Speaker 1: you break up in a relationship. Same thing can happen
- 8:39Speaker 1: to you. You never know the one God God for you.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Now Here you go, Here you go again. Now you
- 8:44Speaker 1: get put into a situation with somebody, treat you just
- 8:47Speaker 1: the way you want to be treated, provide you the
- 8:49Speaker 1: whole lot of aspects of your life you knew nothing
- 8:51Speaker 1: about prior to that. But you gotta stay positive. If
- 8:54Speaker 1: you stay positive, that positive attitude, that optimistic outlook, that
- 9:00Speaker 1: that always thinking God got me no matter what happened
- 9:04Speaker 1: to me, some amazing things that's going can will happen
- 9:07Speaker 1: in your life. It's a fact. I don't know how
- 9:10Speaker 1: it works that way. I just know that's what it is.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Positive attitude is everything, y'all. So get off the old
- 9:16Speaker 1: woe is mean negativity train because it ain't gonna take
- 9:19Speaker 1: you nowhere but down and get get your outlook up.
- 9:22Speaker 1: If you change your attitude, you change your altitude. Altitude
- 9:27Speaker 1: is determined by your attitude, how high you go, how
- 9:31Speaker 1: big you become, how far you go. It all depends
- 9:34Speaker 1: on how you think. It all depends on what type
- 9:37Speaker 1: of attitude you got. It ain't no, ain't no very
- 9:41Speaker 1: very successful, super negative people. It just doesn't coincide that way.
- 9:46Speaker 1: If you see that something happened to them along the way,
- 9:48Speaker 1: and don't weary. You ain't gonna wearr about it because
- 9:50Speaker 1: you ain't gonna see them long because you can't stay
- 9:52Speaker 1: up there like that. It's just too hard, all right,
- 9:56Speaker 1: that's the conversation you're ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls
- 10:08Speaker 1: and other Welcome to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. We
- 10:13Speaker 1: are here to celebrate the arrival of a new day
- 10:20Speaker 1: and to tell our heavenly father thank you for it,
- 10:23Speaker 1: because he didn't have to do it. Man, I'm grateful
- 10:26Speaker 1: for being just alive, of my measure of health, for
- 10:30Speaker 1: the things he's done for me, for all he's given
- 10:34Speaker 1: to me, for everything he's sending on the way, for
- 10:38Speaker 1: giving me comfort, for helping to me, help, helping me
- 10:42Speaker 1: to sustain in all levels of difficulty. Thank you for
- 10:47Speaker 1: pulling me through. Man. If it wasn't for you, God,
- 10:50Speaker 1: I don't know what I'd have done. Sometimes, So I
- 10:52Speaker 1: just want to say thank you. That's the best way
- 10:54Speaker 1: to do it. We hear, y'all. Shirley strawberin Carlin for
- 10:58Speaker 1: rel the mouth of the junior government name kill Spates,
- 11:03Speaker 1: the legend of Nephew Tommy out in La and yours truly, junior,
- 11:09Speaker 1: or one of your concerns today, sir, let me ask
- 11:12Speaker 1: you something. You know, he was talking the other days.
- 11:15Speaker 1: He was talking to FOI showing he was just talking
- 11:17Speaker 1: about how hard it is to be in business. And
- 11:20Speaker 1: you're just saying about how you had to find the
- 11:22Speaker 1: right people, staying on time, keep pushing all the problems
- 11:26Speaker 1: that you have, You're still grateful for the problems. It's
- 11:30Speaker 1: not that I'm grateful for the problems. I'm grateful for
- 11:35Speaker 1: the ability to withstand, survive and learn from the problems.
- 11:40Speaker 1: I don't. I don't like the problems. Okay, Oh, I
- 11:43Speaker 1: just don't. I'm gonna just be one hoodar with you.
- 11:46Speaker 1: I'm human. I don't like problems. Nobody nobody likes problems.
- 11:49Speaker 1: I don't like the setbacks. I don't like the challenges.
- 11:52Speaker 1: I don't like the difficulties. I don't. I don't. I
- 11:54Speaker 1: don't like it. But I appreciate the strength that I've
- 12:00Speaker 1: gained to withstand them all and the wisdom I got
- 12:04Speaker 1: once I got on the other side of it. Because
- 12:06Speaker 1: in every bad thing there's a gift, but a gift.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Remember this about a gift. Now, a gift has to
- 12:12Speaker 1: be unwrapped. You got to take a bowl off. You
- 12:16Speaker 1: gotta take the tape off. You gotta get the paper,
- 12:19Speaker 1: you got tatter box open. You gotta get some scissors.
- 12:22Speaker 1: You need a box cutter sometimes. Have you ever noticed, man,
- 12:26Speaker 1: some of the things you get, it's so difficult to
- 12:28Speaker 1: get into to get to it. If you buy an
- 12:30Speaker 1: Apple product, I don't know nothing harder to get into
- 12:34Speaker 1: than an Apple product. Can you buy a new adapter, Lord,
- 12:40Speaker 1: have mercy, you need a tool kit to open up
- 12:44Speaker 1: the adapter package because I don't know what contape they
- 12:47Speaker 1: got on there and that little plastic thing. Have you
- 12:49Speaker 1: ever tried to dig it off and run it up
- 12:52Speaker 1: under your as you be? Man? But once you get
- 12:57Speaker 1: into the package, you get what you ask ask four.
- 13:01Speaker 1: But in everything you ask for, you got to do
- 13:04Speaker 1: some unpacking. Everything you want it's on the other side
- 13:10Speaker 1: of something you got to go through to get to it.
- 13:13Speaker 1: It ain't ever just at the front dope. It's in
- 13:18Speaker 1: a box that has to be unpacked. So yeah, I've
- 13:21Speaker 1: learned to accept that part of it right there at junior.
- 13:24Speaker 1: I don't like the problems and everything, but I do
- 13:26Speaker 1: understand that someone unpacking with it, so I just keep
- 13:29Speaker 1: start unpacking. Boy. All right, as we move on, coming
- 13:35Speaker 1: up at thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll hear
- 13:37Speaker 1: from the nephew as he runs that prank back right
- 13:40Speaker 1: after this. Yeah you're listening st show. All right, guys,
- 13:46Speaker 1: it is time to start your morning off with the
- 13:48Speaker 1: nephew and run that prank back. What you're gott now?
- 13:51Speaker 1: I think we got a little little little peeping time
- 13:54Speaker 1: going on in the neighborhood. That's what I think. It's
- 13:56Speaker 1: a little peeping time situation going on in the neighborhood.
- 14:00Speaker 1: So this right here is neighborhood watch. Neighborhood watch. All right,
- 14:09Speaker 1: cat dog? If you hood, you don't worry about that
- 14:14Speaker 1: cat dog? Come on, hello, I'm trying to reach Johnny. Yeah,
- 14:20Speaker 1: this is Johnny. Okay, you're the one to be doing
- 14:22Speaker 1: the neighborhood watching. You'll be walking your dog doing the

- 19:28Speaker 1: I don't know, man, I mean, I mean, if you
- 19:31Speaker 1: ain't gonna prank prank praise me and I got the
- 19:33Speaker 1: prank praise myself, you know I got to put it. Yeah, yeah,
- 19:38Speaker 1: of course, if you ain't gonna prank praise me, I
- 19:41Speaker 1: got the prank praise myself. Is that what it's called.
- 19:46Speaker 1: Don't nobody want to have a prank praise in time?
- 19:48Speaker 1: And that bothers me. You know, we can praise everybody
- 19:50Speaker 1: else and everything y'all do on here, but I can't
- 19:53Speaker 1: a prank praise. It's hard for me to praise the
- 19:55Speaker 1: Lord and praise you. I can't do right, I ask
- 20:00Speaker 1: you both. Didn't ask you to do that. I asked
- 20:01Speaker 1: you to prank praise me. That's what I asked. Now
- 20:05Speaker 1: you saw how a minute ago he was saying how
- 20:08Speaker 1: he ain't gonna do that, But here it ends up happening. Right.
- 20:15Speaker 1: I don't know what you've come to do, but I
- 20:17Speaker 1: come to prank praise. Yeah, I don't know what you've
- 20:21Speaker 1: come to do, but I come to prank, praise. Prank praising.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Linked him up in the morning, praising, lift him up
- 20:28Speaker 1: in the evening. Frank race. All Right, I love it.
- 20:33Speaker 1: I'm going to frank pray. Thank you nephew. Coming up next,
- 20:37Speaker 1: it is asked the Cello Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey
- 20:41Speaker 1: in the building, ready for your love questions. Right after this,
- 20:44Speaker 1: you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at the
- 20:48Speaker 1: top of the hour. And trending headline news the suspects
- 20:52Speaker 1: accused of killing three University of Virginia football players has
- 20:56Speaker 1: been denied bond. Also in more trending headline, Karen bass
- 21:01Speaker 1: Is Los Angeles. Get this guy. She's Los Angeles first
- 21:05Speaker 1: black female mayor. Yeah. Yes, And entertainment news Mini has
- 21:13Speaker 1: been denied. Mariah Carey is not the Queen of Christmas.
- 21:18Speaker 1: We'll talk about all of these stories at the top
- 21:20Speaker 1: of the hour, but right now it is time to
- 21:22Speaker 1: ask the clo. Brian Tapka says, I'm dating a man
- 21:28Speaker 1: that has only been divorced for a year, and he's
- 21:30Speaker 1: already asked me to move in with him. I can
- 21:33Speaker 1: tell that his teenage sons need a little more time
- 21:36Speaker 1: to get to know me before they see me in
- 21:38Speaker 1: their mom's house when they come to visit. My man said,
- 21:42Speaker 1: I should only be focused on his needs. Is he right? Well,
- 21:47Speaker 1: that's not how it's going to work. You're entering into
- 21:51Speaker 1: a blended family situation. You said something in your statement
- 21:56Speaker 1: that's kind of telling you don't think they're ready for
- 22:00Speaker 1: someone to move into their mom's house. Now, let me
- 22:04Speaker 1: explain something to you. The divorce, even though it's only
- 22:08Speaker 1: been a year, the divorce is simply the day that
- 22:13Speaker 1: the court system legalize the divorce. The divorce has been
- 22:18Speaker 1: occurring probably years before that, so it's not a year.
- 22:24Speaker 1: It's too soon. I think what the too soon part
- 22:28Speaker 1: is for the children, And I do think that you
- 22:31Speaker 1: have to build a better relationship with them and take
- 22:34Speaker 1: your time. Yeah, he would love for it, because he's
- 22:38Speaker 1: a guy all eyes on me, all attention on me.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Of course that's being selfish. But there's some other people
- 22:44Speaker 1: involved here. And if he has custody of those boys,
- 22:47Speaker 1: which it sounds like it does, or he may not,
- 22:51Speaker 1: I don't know. They come to visit. Yeah, okay, Well
- 22:55Speaker 1: they on a mom's side. You do understand that winning
- 22:58Speaker 1: them over, especially if they had no problem with your mom.
- 23:00Speaker 1: It's gonna be a problem. Anytime you get into a
- 23:02Speaker 1: blend of family, it's gonna be some problems. So you
- 23:05Speaker 1: have to just take your time, do the right thing.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Trust you're intuitions, all right, all right. Moving on to
- 23:11Speaker 1: Frisia and Orlando, Frisier writes, I have been going to
- 23:15Speaker 1: the same hair stylist for almost thirty years, and I
- 23:18Speaker 1: went in yesterday. She didn't speak and we barely talked.
- 23:21Speaker 1: She's a moody person. But if I'm paying her to
- 23:24Speaker 1: do my hair, she should have manners. Is it time
- 23:27Speaker 1: to find a new stylist? Right? Yeah, And there's two
- 23:31Speaker 1: things it's time for. It's time for a new stylist
- 23:33Speaker 1: and it's time for a new damn hairstyle style the
- 23:37Speaker 1: same day. She might not be speaking to you because
- 23:42Speaker 1: she tied of doing the same old press said, anytime
- 23:45Speaker 1: you bring your hands, don't nobody do bangs. No more
- 23:50Speaker 1: doing Now that could be the problem right here. I
- 23:53Speaker 1: don't know if she moved or not, but you pay
- 23:55Speaker 1: her to do your hair, you don't pay her to
- 23:57Speaker 1: talk and be kind of cord not. People should have manners,
- 24:00Speaker 1: and that's to go to beauty salon. Is like females
- 24:04Speaker 1: country club. When they go to the beauty salon, often
- 24:07Speaker 1: time they're talking to share. It's kind of like the
- 24:09Speaker 1: black fan's country club is the barbershop. So yeah, I
- 24:12Speaker 1: can understand where you're coming from. But thirty years of
- 24:16Speaker 1: the same damn half style, she probably sicker you right now.
- 24:20Speaker 1: She got to adder all these old ass products that
- 24:23Speaker 1: they don't make. No vote you the older one using
- 24:26Speaker 1: pro line. If you're the only one got Bergermont, older
- 24:31Speaker 1: one got Ultra, she you the old one. Won't they
- 24:34Speaker 1: half the greens with all Glover's maid and sing eight.
- 24:38Speaker 1: You're the only one over here shaking up a battle
- 24:41Speaker 1: of Carol Free. Yeah, she probably just they're just shaking
- 24:46Speaker 1: the battle of when you come that's what. Yeah, here
- 24:54Speaker 1: she come again, this old ass half style. I got
- 24:57Speaker 1: a dinner, Damn Carol, and I plug out for her,
- 25:02Speaker 1: all right, Freezier. Moving on to Teddy in Nashville. Teddy
- 25:06Speaker 1: right time. I'm pretty sure my girl called me the
- 25:08Speaker 1: wrong name in bed, but she's so good at lying,
- 25:12Speaker 1: I'll never know the truth. I want to get her
- 25:14Speaker 1: back by calling her the wrong name, and then we'll
- 25:17Speaker 1: be even. Is it a good way to get revenge
- 25:19Speaker 1: or will it backfire on? Don't get stupid. This ain't
- 25:26Speaker 1: no even, ain't no even dog. You can't out mad
- 25:31Speaker 1: a woman. No, you can't out thank a woman. You
- 25:36Speaker 1: can't out revenge your woman. Don't don't go down that.
- 25:39Speaker 1: That's a dog alley down there. That's a dog alley
- 25:44Speaker 1: with a whole lot of dumpsters in that alley. All
- 25:48Speaker 1: types of gonna pop up on your head. You're gonna
- 25:50Speaker 1: lose what. Listen to me? That's like walking down the
- 25:55Speaker 1: dog alley in the in the in the in the
- 25:59Speaker 1: TV show Wage be O the Wire. You in Baltimore
- 26:03Speaker 1: walking down the dog alley with trash dumpters and the
- 26:07Speaker 1: alley is eight miles long. You don't think nothing to
- 26:10Speaker 1: happen to you go down here, you better stay your
- 26:12Speaker 1: ass out there where him. Streetlights is gonna run in
- 26:15Speaker 1: the string of bell Baby, that's you fin to be
- 26:20Speaker 1: on the way. Boy, you have to throw about four
- 26:22Speaker 1: five phones out the wind before you get to the
- 26:24Speaker 1: end of that. Or don't do that. Don't don't let
- 26:27Speaker 1: it do that. Don't even she lying to you. That's fine, man,
- 26:31Speaker 1: Gonna do what you're gonna do. Y'all ain't gonna make
- 26:33Speaker 1: it no way, But don't try this revenge mote. Call
- 26:36Speaker 1: her another woman's name. Boy boy, Nope, all right, great advice. Celo,
- 26:42Speaker 1: last one amber in East Point, says, my husband smoked cigars,
- 26:49Speaker 1: and the terrible taste from the cigars is messing up
- 26:51Speaker 1: our intimacy. I love to kiss my husband, but I
- 26:55Speaker 1: hate leftover cigar breath. I turned my head away from
- 26:59Speaker 1: him during sex, and he said, I'm overreacting. Should I
- 27:03Speaker 1: give him an ultimatum about cigars and our sex life?
- 27:06Speaker 1: Please that I've had it, Yes, give it to him.
- 27:09Speaker 1: I've had it. Yes, what happens? Give it to him?
- 27:13Speaker 1: You got tomato, man, them cigars, and I like coffee.
- 27:17Speaker 1: So see, now I have to travel with a certain kind.
- 27:20Speaker 1: They got smokers mints out there, and then they got
- 27:23Speaker 1: listerine strips. You got to keep constantly and then see,
- 27:27Speaker 1: as soon as you smoke, you need to go somewhere
- 27:29Speaker 1: and do some dental hygiene. Yes, as soon as you smoke,
- 27:33Speaker 1: you gotta go to these little bathrooms and do stuff
- 27:35Speaker 1: right here. A beautiful tip. Nasts nasty, but it's a
- 27:39Speaker 1: beautiful tip. Get yourself one of those thick napkins at
- 27:43Speaker 1: a public restroom and run it under some water and
- 27:46Speaker 1: put your ass some soap on it, and just put
- 27:49Speaker 1: it in your mouth and move it around. You gotta
- 27:52Speaker 1: you gotta wash your mouth out, not literally, you're literally out.
- 27:58Speaker 1: You want to keep your breath. Okay, Well you can
- 28:01Speaker 1: talk to these folks after this cigarf. I'm just telling you.
- 28:06Speaker 1: It's a country. It's a country, as mod My father
- 28:09Speaker 1: taught it to me, brothers taught it to me. And
- 28:12Speaker 1: that's how you do it. If you're out and about,
- 28:14Speaker 1: you could do it. It ain't that bad. It's just soap,
- 28:18Speaker 1: you know, it's just soap. It's bacterial soap. It's clean,
- 28:22Speaker 1: it gets rid of bacterial Boom boom boom. That's how
- 28:25Speaker 1: you do it. If you're on the golf course, every
- 28:27Speaker 1: golf course in the country club. They got listerine and
- 28:30Speaker 1: breath stuff and disposable toothbrushes in there. But you got
- 28:34Speaker 1: to do that. And no, she's not overreacting. That's real.
- 28:39Speaker 1: If you let it sit in your mouth for hours,
- 28:41Speaker 1: you smell like a trash can, all right, coming up
- 28:48Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, I smoking cigar. Set
- 28:51Speaker 1: it down, go get another one. You can't do that
- 28:54Speaker 1: with sex. Right after this, you can't start putting her
- 28:59Speaker 1: down and go get a note. See how long that marriage?
- 29:04Speaker 1: You're listening to this Dave Harvey Morning Show. In trending
- 29:09Speaker 1: headline news, the suspects accused of killing three University of
- 29:13Speaker 1: Virginia football players after a school field trip was denied
- 29:17Speaker 1: bond Wednesday during a court hearing in Charlottesville. The suspect's
- 29:22Speaker 1: name is Christopher Darnell Jones Junior. He shot one of
- 29:26Speaker 1: the players, Devin Chandler, while Devin Chandler was sleeping, and
- 29:30Speaker 1: players lavells, yeah, that's horrible, horrible, horrible. The other players
- 29:35Speaker 1: the other two players, Lavelle Davis Junior and Deshaun Perry,
- 29:38Speaker 1: were also killed. Jones was on a field trip Sunday
- 29:41Speaker 1: with fellow UVA students to see a play in Washington, DC.
- 29:46Speaker 1: A university spokesperson said when the bus returned to Charlottesville,
- 29:50Speaker 1: to the Charlottesville Campus authority said, the twenty two year
- 29:54Speaker 1: old open fire on the bus, killing Chandler, Davis and Perry.
- 29:59Speaker 1: The suspects loved one said he didn't know how to
- 30:02Speaker 1: handle bullying, and the problem started after he was taken
- 30:05Speaker 1: off the football team. So that's the motive. Yeah, yeah,
- 30:12Speaker 1: how do you kill someone when they're sleeping? I mean
- 30:15Speaker 1: just period, but I mean just open fire. He didn't
- 30:20Speaker 1: know how to handle bullying. Yeah, that's what they said. Yeah,
- 30:24Speaker 1: he was kicked off the team and that's when the
- 30:26Speaker 1: problem started. Is gone, yes, yes, with promising futures, Yeah,
- 30:35Speaker 1: promising no excuse man. Yeah, and then he won't bond.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Anybody going to let you out? Thought you also you
- 30:46Speaker 1: can go do one. Yeah. Yeah. Our deepest condolences going
- 30:53Speaker 1: out to the victims, to families of the victims. You know,
- 30:57Speaker 1: two of these kids named junior, right, so, and like
- 31:02Speaker 1: even the shooter was a junior. One of the kids
- 31:06Speaker 1: kids a junior. It's just not that that makes it
- 31:10Speaker 1: any difference. That's not what I'm saying. But man, so
- 31:14Speaker 1: somebody had a fatherless somewhere. Man something. It's so many
- 31:18Speaker 1: things wrong in this story. The biggest is these innocent
- 31:23Speaker 1: young leaders are gone. They will go to a field
- 31:27Speaker 1: trip to see a play, yeah, just to see a
- 31:29Speaker 1: play in DC. They get back to Charlotte just twenty
- 31:35Speaker 1: two years old. Yeah. Again, Our deepest condolences from everyone
- 31:41Speaker 1: here at the Steve Harvey Morning Show, going out to
- 31:43Speaker 1: the families of those victims switching gears. Now, uh, this
- 31:48Speaker 1: is other trend line trending headline news. Um, we do
- 31:51Speaker 1: have some good news to report out of Los Angeles.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Representative Karen Bass defeated developer Rick Caruso. Now Miss Bass
- 32:01Speaker 1: will become the next mayor of Los Angeles, making her
- 32:05Speaker 1: the first black woman the homopost As City Hall contends
- 32:11Speaker 1: with an out of control homeless crisis in Los Angeles,
- 32:14Speaker 1: rising crime rates, and multiple scandals that have shaken trust
- 32:18Speaker 1: in government. So congratulations to marry elect of Los Angeles,
- 32:23Speaker 1: Karen bat Congratulations. Let me get this right, She's gonna
- 32:28Speaker 1: be battling distrust in government. Yeah yeah, But now the
- 32:34Speaker 1: Republican Party is allowing Donald Trump to run again that part,
- 32:42Speaker 1: Yes sir, yes, sir, yes, man, this country right here,
- 32:46Speaker 1: I don't understand. I don't understand. And the round of applause.
- 32:51Speaker 1: He got. Man, he's a very narcissistic guy. He here
- 32:55Speaker 1: a round of applause, and he imagines that's everybody, hopefully
- 33:01Speaker 1: his support system. So we clapping, So we clapping. Here
- 33:06Speaker 1: a rule dog, people going crazy at Malogo, and he
- 33:10Speaker 1: just thanked the whole world. Won't him back? Now? You
- 33:13Speaker 1: know his daughter said she's done with politics. Ivanka, she
- 33:17Speaker 1: said she's done. We know his niece was done with him.
- 33:21Speaker 1: We know that. Yeah, Yeah, she said she's done. I
- 33:25Speaker 1: love my dad, but I'm over it. Finally, an entertainment
- 33:30Speaker 1: news a Mariah Carey wanted for Christmas was a trademark,
- 33:33Speaker 1: and the US government turned her down. The US trademark trial, Yeah,
- 33:38Speaker 1: an appeal board nix Memi's attempt to trademark Queen of Christmas.
- 33:43Speaker 1: She wanted to become the Queen of Christmas on Tuesday,
- 33:46Speaker 1: while also denying her the rights to Princess of Christmas.
- 33:49Speaker 1: You're not the queen, You're not the princess and or
- 33:52Speaker 1: Christmas Princess. Okay, none of those names. She got none
- 33:56Speaker 1: of them. She could trademarks over here, just put a true.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Mariah first filed her request in March of twenty twenty one,
- 34:06Speaker 1: but got a lot of pushback from Darlene Love and
- 34:09Speaker 1: Elizabeth Chen, who both of them have made a career
- 34:13Speaker 1: out of recording Christmas music. According to TMZ, Mariah Kerry
- 34:17Speaker 1: wanted her new title on Fragrance's lotions, nail polished jewelry,
- 34:21Speaker 1: coconut water ornaments, and dog clothing. But then oddly last December,
- 34:28Speaker 1: Mariah told the BBC, can I just say this is
- 34:32Speaker 1: I'm quoting her now? Can I just say that I
- 34:34Speaker 1: did not create the title or the moniker Queen of Christmas?
- 34:37Speaker 1: That was other people? And I just want to humbly
- 34:40Speaker 1: say that I don't consider myself that. But she did
- 34:44Speaker 1: try to trademarket. Yeah. Well, if you don't want a trademarket,
- 34:48Speaker 1: if you can't trademarket because they don't allowed to be
- 34:50Speaker 1: trademark can you still put it on stuff? Because if
- 34:54Speaker 1: anybody got a trademark to it, you could put it
- 34:57Speaker 1: on stuff, and anybody else can put it on stuff.
- 35:00Speaker 1: I think it's a great marketing tool for personally. Yeah Christmas, Yeah,
- 35:06Speaker 1: I love That's all I want. I don't about it.
- 35:13Speaker 1: If they don't never play it, I wouldn't miss me,
- 35:17Speaker 1: all right. If they take hang on, miss Tony, if
- 35:27Speaker 1: they take that off, we couldn't have real problem. Yeah,
- 35:31Speaker 1: that's the real sign in the hood. When you hit

- 36:35Speaker 1: twenty five bottles of wine. A gas station package of
- 36:38Speaker 1: cheese and crackers. You know you never know what you're

- 37:27Speaker 1: to go plate, and when you put the fall on
- 37:31Speaker 1: top of it, it must be level kathy, no mountain

- 39:39Speaker 1: Money show. You bless my heart this morning when you
- 39:42Speaker 1: spoke about Harsham Walk as a disgrace though black community
- 39:47Speaker 1: and the South that the Republican Party has put upon up.
- 39:51Speaker 1: Please repeat that everything before this election in every media

- 40:17Speaker 1: come on man, that was on point. So I will
- 40:20Speaker 1: be repeating it today. That's just insulting what they're trying

- 40:26Speaker 1: agrees with you. He sty is. This is Riggina, ju.
- 40:31Speaker 1: I would just listen to your comments about friends and
- 40:38Speaker 1: they always bringing up the path and what you used
- 40:41Speaker 1: to do. This is a comment. I'm a number sixteen.
- 40:43Speaker 1: I just heard it, and people judge me the same
- 40:47Speaker 1: way when you used to do that. Well, I'm not
- 40:50Speaker 1: in the eighties anymore. I can't sit on your front
- 40:53Speaker 1: porch and drink anymore. I did said any when I

- 45:27Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach us to trace how you doing?
- 45:30Speaker 1: This is? This is brother Glenn from the church. Hey,
- 45:33Speaker 1: brother Glenn, how you doing. I'm good, I'm good. I'm
- 45:35Speaker 1: real good. Did you enjoy service morning? Oh? I enjoyed it.
- 45:39Speaker 1: Pasta pastor brought it down. Oh my god, that was
- 45:46Speaker 1: a word for me, right right, right right? So what
- 45:50Speaker 1: do old the pleasure that's called? I wanted to give
- 45:52Speaker 1: you some information that the that the church has come
- 45:56Speaker 1: up with, and we wanted to let you know what
- 45:58Speaker 1: was going on before the next I didn't interrupt you that, No, No,
- 46:02Speaker 1: I actually i may sound a little a little off
- 46:05Speaker 1: a little bit. I'm trying to get getting ready for
- 46:07Speaker 1: my little babies, my little darlins, and I'm trying to
- 46:09Speaker 1: Your voice sounds so familiar to me. It just sounds
- 46:13Speaker 1: so familiar. Trying to place place that voice. Okay, well
- 46:15Speaker 1: you've seen me at the church quite a few times.
- 46:17Speaker 1: I think I have. I'm just trying to place it.
- 46:19Speaker 1: I can't place it right now, but look at it. Well, nevertheless,
- 46:22Speaker 1: I just wanted here's here's what's going on now? You
- 46:25Speaker 1: aware of that for the last the last six Sundays,
- 46:27Speaker 1: you've been actually coming in the service late. Have you
- 46:31Speaker 1: realized that, Yes, I know, I'm sorry about that, but uh,
- 46:36Speaker 1: you know, yes I have. I have my reasons. So okay, okay,
- 46:39Speaker 1: Well here's what's going on. The officials at the church
- 46:42Speaker 1: have gotten together and this is what they've decided on,
- 46:45Speaker 1: is that anybody who is late starting next Sunday, there
- 46:49Speaker 1: would be a fifteen dollar charge for that for coming
- 46:52Speaker 1: in and disrupting services fast fastest tide of service being
- 46:56Speaker 1: disrupted by people walking in late that I could not
- 47:00Speaker 1: come at the worst time. I don't have fifteen dollars
- 47:04Speaker 1: to give. I don't I don't have it. Oh um, look,
- 47:10Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I'm sorry that we late. I am We
- 47:14Speaker 1: are doing our best. I have three kids, have three
- 47:18Speaker 1: young kids, two seven and nine, and they are a
- 47:21Speaker 1: handfool and and and we do the best that we
- 47:24Speaker 1: can to get the church on time and and to
- 47:27Speaker 1: tell your truth. When we get there, it's doing praise
- 47:30Speaker 1: and worship, I mean pass. They ain't even preaching yet,
- 47:33Speaker 1: so I know it's not past, it's not up yet.
- 47:36Speaker 1: But he's he's stating that people coming in. It just
- 47:39Speaker 1: seems very disrupted to the service that's going on. That's
- 47:42Speaker 1: so Nevertheless, like I said, this is a warning call,
- 47:44Speaker 1: you know, to let you know that if you are
- 47:46Speaker 1: late on next Sunday then they will be charging you
- 47:49Speaker 1: fifteen dollars a lafe charge. And actually you won't be
- 47:53Speaker 1: able to even come in until you until you pay
- 47:56Speaker 1: ten dollars. I can't even get in church with we Look, okay, look,
- 48:01Speaker 1: I don't I don't owe nothing. I don't owe you
- 48:04Speaker 1: no explanation. But I need to tell you something. We
- 48:07Speaker 1: are me and my kids for the last a few
- 48:11Speaker 1: sundays that we've been late. It's because my car broke down.
- 48:14Speaker 1: We are owned the bus man public transportation. Okay, I mean,
- 48:18Speaker 1: and I understand, I understand. I civiltize with everything that
- 48:21Speaker 1: you're going through. But why are you calling if you understand?
- 48:24Speaker 1: Why are you calling me about fifteen dollars? If you
- 48:25Speaker 1: understand what I'm going through? Well I didn't I first,
- 48:27Speaker 1: Barby didn't know what you would go. Why are you
- 48:29Speaker 1: raising your voice at Why are you raising? Did you
- 48:32Speaker 1: just raise your voice at me? You know what? You
- 48:34Speaker 1: know what I think? You're raising your voice at me?
- 48:37Speaker 1: How dare you call me about this? About a feat?
- 48:41Speaker 1: And I'm there at church. I got my kids in
- 48:43Speaker 1: there trying to raise them up is where they should go,
- 48:46Speaker 1: just like the Bible say. And you know why I
- 48:49Speaker 1: gotta do this and why I'm the lake? Why why
- 48:51Speaker 1: we gotta chesch the bus. Do you understand why that is?
- 48:54Speaker 1: Brother Glenn, No, I do not. That is because they
- 48:57Speaker 1: do their dad is ain't and they yes. So it's Tracy.
- 49:00Speaker 1: You got to calm down a little bit now. Oh
- 49:03Speaker 1: Jesus help me, Jesus help me, Jesus. Okay, listen us.
- 49:06Speaker 1: All I can do is tell you this. I hope
- 49:08Speaker 1: you can make it. Maybe you can catch an earlier bus,
- 49:11Speaker 1: you know what I mean, and get there a little earlier.
- 49:14Speaker 1: But but I'm just stating the fact that as of
- 49:16Speaker 1: next Sunday, if you come in late, it's fifteen dollars
- 49:19Speaker 1: late fee, and that's what you'll pay in order to
- 49:21Speaker 1: get in the service. You know what, Well, maybe next
- 49:24Speaker 1: Sunday I just won't be there. How about that? You
- 49:27Speaker 1: know I'm already working six days a week. The only
- 49:30Speaker 1: day I have office Sunday, I've been baking, breaking my back.
- 49:33Speaker 1: Do you know? I worked two jobs or two jobs,
- 49:36Speaker 1: and they always trying to take money out of my check,
- 49:38Speaker 1: always trying to pull me here and there, and I'm
- 49:40Speaker 1: always tired. I get two hours asleep, and then now
- 49:43Speaker 1: the church wants to dump another fifteen dollars charging me
- 49:46Speaker 1: for being at church. Well, that's what I'm supposed to do.
- 49:49Speaker 1: But you're coming in late though, because the Tracy, you
- 49:52Speaker 1: know what, you know what late ain't bad. Okay, I
- 49:57Speaker 1: might be delayed, but I ain't denied, and I'm getting
- 49:59Speaker 1: there the best way to I know how. For the bus,
- 50:01Speaker 1: I have to put my kids on the school bus
- 50:03Speaker 1: and don't even have to put them on the school bus.
- 50:05Speaker 1: And I have to get on the bus to myself
- 50:07Speaker 1: to him because I don't have a car. Because they
- 50:09Speaker 1: Daddy's ain't doing nothing nothing for them. Do you understand
- 50:12Speaker 1: what I'm saying to you? I need to understand. Daddy
- 50:17Speaker 1: number one, guess what he daddy for two? He and
- 50:20Speaker 1: jail been there by five years he ain't. And Daddy
- 50:24Speaker 1: number three he decided to go ahead and walk out, ain't.
- 50:28Speaker 1: I ain't heard from that in about seven months now.
- 50:32Speaker 1: He know we're struggling. He had the nerve to take
- 50:34Speaker 1: my wallet too. You don't. You don't even understand what
- 50:36Speaker 1: I'm going through. You don't even understand that I'm trying
- 50:38Speaker 1: to make a better life for me and my children.
- 50:41Speaker 1: There is one more thing, sis to Tracy, that the
- 50:42Speaker 1: church wants you to know before the next Sunday that
- 50:44Speaker 1: you definitely need to know. But what one more thing
- 50:47Speaker 1: does the church want me to know? Beside sixteen dollars?
- 50:49Speaker 1: The Church just wants you to know that this is
- 50:51Speaker 1: nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey morn Is Jail. Your
- 50:54Speaker 1: sister Patrese got me to pryk phone call you. I
- 51:00Speaker 1: am gonna who are you? You know I ain't got
- 51:06Speaker 1: time for that. You know I ain't got time for that. Oh, Patresel,
- 51:13Speaker 1: You're all right? Oh, I got something for her? How
- 51:17Speaker 1: about that? She told me? She said she my sister
- 51:22Speaker 1: carpro down. She says she got these kids she over
- 51:25Speaker 1: are struggling and struggling and she's trying to make it,
- 51:28Speaker 1: but you gotta give a hard time. She just wanted,
- 51:30Speaker 1: she wanted, she wanted you to put us. She wanted
- 51:32Speaker 1: to put a smile on your face. What she did, Well,
- 51:35Speaker 1: are you being settled out? I'm gonna have to say

- 52:23Speaker 1: I just did that prank right there, y'all got to

- 53:59Speaker 1: It is Strawberry Letter. Before we do the Strawberry Letter,
- 54:03Speaker 1: I just want to put a disclaimer out for young
- 54:05Speaker 1: children that are riding in the cars with their parents
- 54:08Speaker 1: and everything. You might want to turn away this letter.
- 54:11Speaker 1: It gets a little racy at times, a little spicy. Okay,
- 54:15Speaker 1: thank you. Subject nothing is big except his mouth. Dear
- 54:20Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley. My boyfriend has to have a spotlight on
- 54:23Speaker 1: him at all times. It seems like every week he
- 54:27Speaker 1: tells me that he went off on a coworker because
- 54:30Speaker 1: they don't respect his authority. I always have to remind
- 54:34Speaker 1: him that he's not anyone's supervisor at the job. He's
- 54:38Speaker 1: just been there longer than anyone else. He's got a
- 54:41Speaker 1: big ego and a big mouth. He laughs loud, and
- 54:44Speaker 1: he brags all of the time. I'm talking about bragging
- 54:48Speaker 1: like he can knock get out of the park every night,
- 54:51Speaker 1: when he's really not even tapping first base. When I
- 54:54Speaker 1: met him, he bragged about his size and kept telling
- 54:57Speaker 1: me to grab on to it. I should have grabbed
- 55:00Speaker 1: it and stretched it a little bit each time I
- 55:02Speaker 1: saw him. I had seen him without clothes on, and
- 55:06Speaker 1: I don't know much about a man, so I assumed
- 55:09Speaker 1: it might get bigger when he got excited. Well, we
- 55:13Speaker 1: finally had sex and had stayed the same size. It's
- 55:16Speaker 1: like he doesn't know he's small because he kept bragging
- 55:19Speaker 1: the whole time. I got annoyed at him. And now
- 55:22Speaker 1: when I see him, I think of how big his
- 55:25Speaker 1: feet are and how short his toes are. My mind
- 55:28Speaker 1: goes to the craziest things about a person once they
- 55:31Speaker 1: disappoint me. He is nothing big on him except his
- 55:35Speaker 1: mouth and his ego. I don't want to throw him
- 55:37Speaker 1: away just because he's tiny. I'm willing to work on
- 55:41Speaker 1: this relationship a little longer. He thinks I'm falling in
- 55:44Speaker 1: love with him, but that's not what's happening, at least
- 55:47Speaker 1: not yet. I want to continue to get to know
- 55:50Speaker 1: him and find ways to make our sex life better
- 55:52Speaker 1: despite his small size. It is hard to find a
- 55:56Speaker 1: man these days, and I'm pretty sure this man won't
- 56:00Speaker 1: for cheat on me, or if he does cheat, it
- 56:02Speaker 1: will only it would only happen once because he's so tiny.
- 56:06Speaker 1: Do you think he can ever change? Am I crazy
- 56:09Speaker 1: to stay with him? Okay, surely before you answer this letter,
- 56:14Speaker 1: I am sitting up on the edge of my seat. Huh,
- 56:19Speaker 1: surely gonna answer this? Go ahead? Shit? Well, thank you, Steve,
- 56:23Speaker 1: thank you? Uh? Anyway, she says, is she crazy to
- 56:27Speaker 1: stay with him? I'm really not sure what you want
- 56:29Speaker 1: Steve and I to do here, uh, because there's not
- 56:33Speaker 1: a lot we can do about your particular situation. And
- 56:37Speaker 1: h sorry you had to find out about his size.
- 56:39Speaker 1: That way, maybe you could have accepted it better and
- 56:43Speaker 1: not have been so disappointed had he not built himself
- 56:46Speaker 1: up and bragged about his size so much. When you
- 56:49Speaker 1: ask if he could ever change, are you talking about
- 56:52Speaker 1: his size? Probably not? Probably not. Can he change his
- 56:58Speaker 1: big mouth will? Yes, definitely he can do that, but
- 57:01Speaker 1: he's not gonna do that because he's been bragging for
- 57:04Speaker 1: way too long. It's a part of him. Now, first
- 57:07Speaker 1: you need to decide why are you really with this man.
- 57:11Speaker 1: You have said nothing good about him in this entire letter.
- 57:15Speaker 1: You you even said if he cheats, it will only
- 57:19Speaker 1: be one time because of his size, which means if
- 57:22Speaker 1: he cheated, you know he would come back to you,
- 57:25Speaker 1: so you would put up with that. So my question
- 57:28Speaker 1: is are you settling because you don't believe you can
- 57:31Speaker 1: get anyone else. You said you want to stay and
- 57:33Speaker 1: work with him. This is not what makes a good relationship.
- 57:37Speaker 1: Settling You're gonna continue to complain about him if you stay. So,
- 57:42Speaker 1: so no, I'm saying, don't don't settle this. Don't settle.
- 57:45Speaker 1: You got to make up your mind here. You're gonna
- 57:47Speaker 1: be with them or not, and you don't. There's nothing
- 57:50Speaker 1: good in this letter that you've written about him, So
- 57:53Speaker 1: why stay Steve. Here's what I take away from this
- 57:58Speaker 1: whole letter. Now I'm gonna do a reenactment on the
- 58:01Speaker 1: second half because there's really nowhere to go. Shirley's absolutely correct,
- 58:05Speaker 1: what do you want us to do? But I'm gonna
- 58:07Speaker 1: tell you one thing though. This man right here is
- 58:11Speaker 1: the epitome of Norman Vincent Peale's book The Power of
- 58:17Speaker 1: Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale. This man has thought
- 58:25Speaker 1: himself into everything he needed to feel good about. He
- 58:30Speaker 1: got a big mouth. He ain't the supervise on the job,
- 58:34Speaker 1: but he got everybody thinking him. He got a big
- 58:37Speaker 1: ego because he's a small man. He got a big
- 58:40Speaker 1: mouth because he's a small man. He laughs loud and
- 58:43Speaker 1: braggs all the time because he's a small man. I'm
- 58:47Speaker 1: talking about bragging like he can knock it out the
- 58:50Speaker 1: park every night. He ain't even really tapping first base.
- 58:54Speaker 1: But in his mind, though, this boy has convinced himself
- 59:01Speaker 1: that he all of that. Had a bag of chips.
- 59:03Speaker 1: When you met him, he bragged about his size and
- 59:06Speaker 1: he kept telling me grab on to it. I should
- 59:10Speaker 1: have grabbed a stretching a little bit of that time
- 59:12Speaker 1: my song. I'd have seen it without clothes on, and
- 59:14Speaker 1: I don't know much about a man, so I assumed
- 59:18Speaker 1: it might get bigger when he got excited. Now let
- 59:21Speaker 1: me tell you what's wrong so far. And you assume
- 59:24Speaker 1: when you saw him neck and how small he was
- 59:26Speaker 1: when he got excited would get bigger. Normally, that's what happens.
- 59:30Speaker 1: He's not been on a lot of sports teams with
- 59:32Speaker 1: guys before. Because when you get in the locker room
- 59:35Speaker 1: and you play sports is when you first discover you
- 59:39Speaker 1: might be in a little bit of trouble. So here's
- 59:42Speaker 1: what's happening. When you play sports, you're in the locker room,
- 59:46Speaker 1: and that's when you discover you might not be all
- 59:49Speaker 1: you thank you all. So obviously he ain't played no
- 59:52Speaker 1: sports because I remember when Eric Green came out to shower.
- 59:58Speaker 1: Who's that Eric the Great? That's what he was called
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: after he came out the shower, Eric the Great Green,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Lord have mercy. We was in the nave Green that
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: boy came out the shower. I said, who uncle is this?
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: Hold on. We'll have part two of Steve's response coming
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: up in twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's strawberry letter.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: Subject nothing is big except his mouth. You're listening show,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: The subject is nothing is big except his mouth. Now,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: she's been dating this man that's been bragging. He's boastful,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: he loud, he talked crazy, he thanked, he more than
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: he is a supervisor. He and then when it comes
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: down to the bedroom, ain't nothing big on him but
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: his mouth. The man is small, and he's been using
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: the power positive thinking and has vinced himself and has
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: tried to convince her that he is all of that
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: and everything. Grab it, you know. She said in the
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: middle of the letter. She don't know much about a man,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: but she thought that if she saw him without his
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: clothes on, when he got excited, it would get bigger.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: That's how it works. But that had high work with him.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: And the reason he don't understand this because he's not
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: an athletic man. He didn't play sports, because when you
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: play sports, you'd be around me, and all the time
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: you come out that shower. I was in the ninth
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: grade when Eric the Great Green Great Green came out
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: to shower. One time in the north grade, that Rob
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: was in the ninth grade, you know, fourteen. You know,
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: Eric the Great Green came His name was just Eric
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: Green at first, but when he came out that shower
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: ned they called him Eric the Green. He was a Viking.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: That boy came out that shower. We were sitting up
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: Let's little boys were just going, Lord Jesus, who uncle
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: is this? Who? Daddy? Who? Lord? What is? And we
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: all knew then we have growing to do? And Eric
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: the Great was already there. So obviously this man has
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: not been around athletics anymore. Now you want to know
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: what can you do? And there's nothing Me and Shirley
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: can help me. There are products that can help him.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: That was a product out years back called Extend, and
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: I don't know about seeing that anymore. I don't see
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: even commercials on that no more. But they have stuff
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: that you can do. He got to do something, but
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: it ain't really but he The problem is you. He's
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: kind of like dealing with an early alcoholic. He don't
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: know that alcohol. Again, he don't know. He's small, and
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: you got to stop helping with all that. Holly, you know,
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: her fault, understand, he don't know because he thinks he
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: kill it. Oh yeah, wow, I see he ain't listen
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: to nobody putting his Hell you got to tune yourself out,
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: fellas and listen to these women. All listen here? Yeah,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: all right? Whoa. In meantime, she's looking at her phone. Yeah,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: looking at her nails. She's doing her nails. Whatever. You
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: just delusion all about who you are. So to show
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: you how it works, ladies, you can ask me anything.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: You're in a relationship with me, and you're trying to
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: bring and reach the subject. Ask me in a cool
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: when I'm gonna show you how he having it? Calls in, honey,
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: what's going on? He? Can you tone it down? Yeah?
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: You're talking so loud? Why are you so loud? I
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: can't help me. You know, big man got to do
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: big things. You know what I mean? You know what
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: I mean. You know what I'm saying. Girl, I can't help.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: I can't tone it down because it ain't it won't
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: tone down, you know what I'm saying. Yeah, I got that.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: You can't talk girl, Yeah, I got all that. When
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: you're laughing, why are you just over the top at
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: a ten with the laugh the falling all out? Come
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: on me? If I don't laugh loud all I'm gonna
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: hear you doing this cry because I got all this
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: here on you like this here and all that. You know,
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: I do the last help coming up all this whipping
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: and moaning. You know you're moaning this stuff. I'd rather
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: hear laughter. You know, supposed to be a great time
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: for both of us. So I laugh hard. So we're
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: gonna get in the move because if I stopped this laughter,
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: I got to deal with these moans of ecstasy and
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: sometimes pain because it's just so much. You know what
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: I'm saying. You know what? I know that hey that
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: you you know, you brag a lot, You're loud and everything,
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: but do you have any idea? You know, like, um,
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: how can I put this gingerly? You're small, you know,
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: grown man, small for a grown man. Yes, and I
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: haven't real with a lot of guys. Well you read letter.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: What these little toes got to do with it? Yeah?
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. Yeah, I got small toes
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: for man, But that's called I didn't toe off all
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: these sheets from all these gripping up and doing all
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: my life, you know what I mean, these toes and
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: stunted because I didn't had to stand up on him
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: because I'd be standing up in it. So now I
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: didn't gotta crush my toes down. Girl. I'm just you
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: know how you know how hard it is to be
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: this size and have tried to explain this to people.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: You know what I mean? So you know, baby, I'm
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: just you know, small. I got these small toads. But
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: now I don't know what you're talking about. Everything else,
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: got everything out else, girl, toes are short? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: so yeah, I'm trying. I'm really trying to bi sate
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: you so much. That's you're not taking my breath away.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: O can't talk, That's what I do. I can feats,
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: That's that's just it. You don't let nobody talk you over. No, no,
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: because I don't want you brag because I know you
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: have in trouble describing what's happening to you. I could
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: try to help it out, you know what I'm saying,
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: But you're just loud. I'm trying to communicate with you
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: and tell you how we can make communicate. Baby. Go ahead, Okay, okay,
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: I'm listening, but I don't hear nothing because in my
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: mind I hear molding. My mind, I hear satisfaction, I
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: hear gratitude, I hear my mind, I hear oh lor
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: I can't can't, no mo. Post your comments on Today's

- 1:07:01Speaker 1: Before let me remind everybody that this Friday will be

- 1:07:11Speaker 1: to kiers Hope dot org. That's k I E. R.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: S Hope dot org. Thank you very much. We love
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: all the entries. Man, We're gonna have ten families this year.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: The Desemmina. Now, yeah, all right. In sports though, let's
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: talk about it, man. Kyrie Irvin could rejoin the Nets
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: by Sunday. This coming Sunday, he could be back, all right, yeah, yeah, man,
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Because his suspension was for five games. And he had
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: a list of steps he had to take to get
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: back on the courch and he had to complete. But
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: tonight will be game eight for him with no pay.
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: He's already missed eight games at this point with no pay.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: The National Basketball Fortation Players Association is working with Kyrie
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: Irvin and the NETS to make sure he get it done.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: Now let's just talk about the steps though. This is
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: what Kyrie had to do to get back on the court,
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: all right. First of all, he had the insitional apology
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: for posting the link. Remember he already had to do
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: that right. Second, he had to complete the anti hate causes.
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: He had to complete some causes for anti hate and
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: then donate five hundred thousand dollars all right, which day
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: was rejected from the Anti Deformation League. They didn't take
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: the founder out, but they still Now this next step
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: is he has a complete sensitivity training destructured by the NETS.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: He had to complete anti Semitic hate training designed by
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: the NETS. Then he had to meet with Jewish leaders.
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: Then he has to go back and talk to the
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: owner and report what he has learned. So that's how
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: he had to get back on the court on this
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: coming Sunday, Can we get that for the black community
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: when somebody do that to us? Can we do that?
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: Can we have that interesting sensitivity training. You're gonna meet
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: these black leaders, You're gonna go ahead and meet with
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: our shop, and you're gonna meet with a whole bunch
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: of old people. Yeah, can we get that asking for
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: a friend? That's all. Here's the deal. You can find
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: out who you are. Just going and find out who
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: you are. We are in a council culture right now.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: We have to understand that. And there's nothing we can
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: do about it. And they will make examples of it
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: all the time. I didn't really see what Kyrie had done.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: He posted a video something he saw now has Amazon
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: Prime or whoever is the host of the movie. I
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: haven't heard anything happened to them. Has anybody boycotted them,
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: anybody required that they issue an apology. They put the
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: thing out on the national platform. So if they have
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: things that hurt their feelings, we have to be sensitive
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: to it. No problem, that's understood. But once a man
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: apologizes all these fines and donating this money and all
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: this here, man, when they do stuff to black people,
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: ain't nobody got to pay a quarter for that thank you.
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, a guy
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: on social media, Steve, needs some advice about his mom
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: dating his friends. What we'll talk about it right after
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: this good show? Mama, dog you're listening to show? Okay,
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: so Steve Stefan from Steve HARVEYFM dot com, right, this
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: is for you, he says. I love my mom, but Houston,
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: we've got a problem. She's in her early forties and
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: has been divorced from my dad for just over two
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: years now. Over the last month, she's come over to
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: my place and hung out for uncomfortably long periods of time,
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: and has even invited my roommates and some of their
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: friends to come over for some drinks. I'm all for
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: my mom getting her social life on and all of that.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: I just prefer it to not be with all of
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: my homies or friends. How do I even have this
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: conversation with him? Mama, Mama, don't don't do this to me. Please,
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: don't do this to me. My friends is talking what
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: they say that you won't do, and that's all I called. See.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: How kind of cute I know, Mama, But I'm gonna
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: have to kill one of these people. You're gonna come
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: visiting your baby. You're gonna visit your baby in college?
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: No more? Who be gotten the visiting me in prison?
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: One of them? You can't get it, one of them.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: But see that's the problem, though, Mama. You need you
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: need to act your age, not your shoe side. I'm singling,
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: ready to mingle, grew out. Don't come around my friends
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: because you started to act a little ish and it's cold.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: Is how old is his name? Mama? Let you was
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: married to George now wants to start dating. They're looking
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: at me too, Yeah, they're looking at you, Mama. Uh huh,
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: because you fine. You need to get fine. You need
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: to get up in your age group. Roy though, all right,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: So that's how he should. He should just come right out.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: Just started to talk to you, mom. Mom, this is
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: a bad look. This is embarrassing. My friends is talking.
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: They're not saying real positive things and it's real. Roma.
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: It's embarrassing to me and I'm gonna end up in
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: prison because I'm gonna hurt somebody first. Mama, all right,
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: I think we have time for one more steep um
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: rod on Facebook right to make no mistake, My wife
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: and I love our sons. When he moved away for college,
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: we were happy to have the house to ourselves. Man,
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: the first thing we did was take a part of
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: our kid's bedroom and turn it into an office. From there,
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: the basement office was taken apart and turned into an
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: entertainment room for us only. Anyway, the boys coming home
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: for Thanksgiving, we told him he could sleep in the
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: guest room. Now he's mad because he doesn't have quote
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: his room anymore. I told him he's an adult and
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: you will get over it. But wife wants to know. Wife.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: He wants to know did we do this too soon?
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: Or does he just need to man up and realize
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: that we still love him? But we have our own life. Man,
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: he got a place to stay. What he wants? Two rooms?
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: Now he got one at the college. Now here, y'all
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: ain't got but one house. Why you get to have
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: two house? The boys went to mole house. Both of
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: rooms got taken, one got turned into a spot and
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: got turned into a cigar line. The stay down stairs,
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: Get your ass out. I told him what was happening.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: Soon as you move your rooms somehow, as soon as
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: you moved off, can they ever come back? Yeah? It
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: ain't come back. But then black Winton's room became a closet.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: You come back, but you sleep in the closet. Still
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: like that room. We got some room down stairs. You
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: just insist on that room. Sleep in the closet and
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: don't take one of them clothes down, sleep up under
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: the clothes, between the clothes. So he just got a
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: man up. So yeah, that's all to it. All right,
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: that's it. Things coming up at twenty minutes after the hour,
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: after this you're listening show. A software engineer from India
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: got a job with Meta, which used to be known
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: as Facebook, and this guy moved all the way from
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: India to Canada to start work, and then two days
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: later he was laid off as the company let go
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: of eleven thousand employees, or thirteen percent of its workforce.
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: So getting fired two days after starting a job that
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: you moved seven thousand miles for, it's pretty cold blooded.
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: That's pretty cutthroat, right there, It is, it really is. Yeah,
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: that's on the plane, get home back to the creb. Yeah. So, Steve,
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: I know you've had a lot of jobs. Uh so
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: what's the fastest amount of time you've got you've gotten
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: fired from a job. Twenty minutes. You beat this record.
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: That's just record breaking. Yeah, you're still training. How you
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: got I was working at dinnis. I followed this white
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: and I was telling her how light was on the
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: people food ready, that we don't have to get it
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: right now. Yah. But the man said, when the light
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: come on, we know the fourteen we're supposed to go
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: get their food. We'll go get it when I say
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: go get it. You're in training, all right, okay? Cool.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: About ten minutes later, we finally go over there and
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: braining people food. Big fat white dude said, hey, this
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: effing food is effing cold. I look right upside, I said,
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: I said, I told you. She walked out, learned some
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: customer relations. I said, hey, man, got a quick custom
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: to me because I wanted to brain your food. She
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: told me, I don't give a what you're talking about
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: her LAMB. So I took the plate and flipped it
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: in his lap. Twenty minutes. That's how twenty minutes. All right?
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: play a round it, would you rather? Right after this?
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: You're listening show all right. So would you rather be
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: in charge of Santa's nice list or would you rather
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: be in charge of Santa's na tea naught naughty naught
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: naughting lit? Yeah? Yeah, I'm gonna make your work for
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: it like that. Hey, Julian, what's your reason? I need
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: to see what your hustling is. That's what I want
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: to know what you do? Yeah? I just want to

- 1:18:14Speaker 1: sale can keep it in that cag because when you're unwrappid,
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: its most unrewarded ass, because I've ever been into You
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: got tear your finger nails up lifting that lead off.
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: The lead is red, and you gotta unwrap it. You
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: got turned it up, and then the papers some of
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: the stuff. There's always some wet ass stuff on top
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: of it. You gotta sticky. Then you cut it, and
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: you just all this green and red jelly and her
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: fault and it's not real fruit and it's strifling whatever
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: it is. Okay, So lactoast intolerance for three days straight

- 1:18:52Speaker 1: ain't no, I ain't lack toast. Sweet, put some nutmeg
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: on it. Whoa, Yeah, all lactoast can't tolerate. But I'm
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: gonna get through it. I'm all right. Would you rather
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: celebrate Christmas for a whole year or only once every
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: five years? One year every day or just once every
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: five years? Yeah, I gotta have something to look forward
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: to this every day. Hold, it's just one year though. No.
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: Now my wife's gonna extract a gift five days. My
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: kids all be mad at me because we'll be learning
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: the real meaning of Christmas. Yea, I have them doing research.
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: They'll know who all the wise means real name? Was
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: what the camels came from? How much was the camels?
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: Did the camels have names? You know? How far was
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: it northt off from the major? What type of he
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: was in the manger? Who was in the manger? Looking?
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: Who owned the manger? It'd be so mad at me?
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: All right, that's today's round of would you rather? Coming
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: up at forty nine minutes after the hour, our last
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: break of the day, and some closing remarks from the
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey. Right after this you're listening
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: to all right, guys, here we are our last break
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: of the day on this Thursday. It's been a good day,
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: a fun day. Um yeah, hey, you know what from
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: my closing remarks, I'm gonna play back something that I did. Man,
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: I got a few comments on it, and so I
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: thought it was worth playing again. It's just talking about
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: the importance of the election and something that I had
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: seen and made a note of. So here it is
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: closing remarks. In closing today, I want to play something.
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: You know, this election right here, this runoff election in Georgia.
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: It's critical for us and I just don't know how
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: else to explain what's going on then to just let
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: you hear it for yourself. I was listening to herschel
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: Walker at a speech he was giving at a rally
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: in Georgia. I'm gonna play it verbatim, and then I'm
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: gonna share with you something that a guy that I
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: know said about it, and I'm gonna give it to
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: you verbatim what he said because I thought it was
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: really profound. Here's herschel Walker giving a speech. This is
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: the exact speech he gave. We're not editing anything, so
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: go here. I can promise you I ran Russian. They're
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: not talking about trying to charge a taint out in
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: the desert. They're talking about war. And let me tell
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: you this either. If we was ready for the Green Agenda,
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: I raised my hand right now. But we're not reader
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: right now. So don't let them fool you like this
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: is a new agenda. This is not the new agenda.
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: We're not prepared, we're not reader right now. What we
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: need to do is keep having those gas guzzling cars,
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: because we got the good emission out of those cars.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: We're doing the best thing that we can. But we
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: need help. We need helping those other people not having us,
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: China not having us, and then you're not having us.
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: But yet we're gonna do it all because they spending
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: your money. You know. Man is so obvious that this
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: guy just something's wrong. And Sean King, who I've had
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: not a lot of conversations with but a couple, I
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: just love the guy. He wrote something and I wanted
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: to read it to you because I thought it was
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: just the best way to explain it, he said. Number One,
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: this man clearly has CTE. It's actually sad. All football
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: players from his generation have it, and he played in
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: a brutal, bruising era. His entire personal life is evidence
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: of CTE, from his violence at home on down. He
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: doesn't need to be in leadership anywhere he needs help.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: Number Two, herschel Walker is embarrassing. He's humiliating himself every
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: time he opens up his mouth. It's a deep insult
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: that he's even made it this far. The brother isn't
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: as country. I grew up in the country. The man
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: is dumb as a rock, and when you force him
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: to speak on issues, he can't hide it or fake it.
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: My ten year old son can speak on these issues
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: with more intelligence and class. And she is in elementary school. Three,
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: it's actually shameful that the Republican Party and their voters
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: are trying to pass this black man off on everybody
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: as a credible candidate. And the irony is that herschel
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: is everything that white folks have said they hate about
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: black men, but ultimately they know they can control him,
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: so they are holding their nose over how horrible of
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: a human being he is. Number Four, we must all
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: support rock the l Warner to ensure that Herschel Walker
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: is never in office claiming to represent us. We have
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: just about three weeks to make sure this happen. That's
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: really so well said. And you all listen. I'm telling you, man,
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: we're up against something here that, like I said the
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: other day, the audacity of this party to pull this
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: move and to try to shove it down the State
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: of Georgia's throat like this is a real viable candidate.
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: Everybody should be offended. Black people will offended because Number one,
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: how dare you select a person and talking about he's
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: representative of us, that he's for us when he's never
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: been for us. We've never heard from Herschel Walker a
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: day in his life before he started running from Senate.
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: What has herschel Walker ever done? What philanthropic efforts have
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: you seen herschel Walker come and do an our community
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: or anything like that? So stop telling us he's for us.
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: Herschel Walker been just for herschel Walker. Ain't no problem
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: with that. But that's just not who he is, period.
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: But you're putting him off on us, like like we're ignorant,
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: and we're not. And it's offensive to me that you
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: would think that we are such a small minded people
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: that we've actually voted for people just because they're black.
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: That's why you're wrong, man. We got better syce than that.
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: We know the difference between right and wrong. We know
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: the difference between quality and non quality. We know what
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: education sound like versus lack of education. We know who
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: speaks well, we know what he sounds like, we know
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: what it looks like. But better than that, y'all, I
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: got news for you. We know what it feel like,
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: and he don't feel right. But here's the other art.
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: If I was a Republican, I would be offended at
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: the Republican National Committee for putting him in the forefront
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: to represent the party. You should be ashamed of yourself
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: y'all trying to tell me, y'all couldn't have came up
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: with nobody better. Y'all couldn't became up with Larry Elder.
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: Y'all couldn't became up with Tim Scott. Y'all couldn't have
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: came up. Y'all could have dug somebody else, something y'all
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: could have went and got at least got in articulate
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: African America. I've never heard a person a candidate be
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: more insulting than herschel Walker is right now, Look, we
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: are going to the polls in Georgia. This will not happen,
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: not on our watch. And if you thank you, gonna
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: fool us again with the eleven hundred absentee ballots that
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: you all did not send out, which would have swayed
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: the election and put Raphael Warnock over the fifty percent.
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: You thank you, tricky, But I got news for you.
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: We're gonna come vote. We're gonna come vote, We're gonna
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: show up. He's not going to get in. Those are
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: my closing remarks today. Man, this is sad. We're going
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: to the close. Y'all fail Warnock every for all, Steve,
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: every contest which is necessary void where prohibited. Participants must
