Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Potential Terrorists STILL Entering US in Biden's Last Days plus Bernie & the Oligarchs-Sen Cruz Weighs In
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: There are still people as we speak right now coming
- 0:06Speaker 1: across our southern border that are potential terrorists and those
- 0:10Speaker 1: that are showing up on the territs watch list.
- 0:14Speaker 2: How do we know this because we have.
- 0:15Speaker 1: New news on four Iranian and two Egyptian nationals that
- 0:21Speaker 1: were caught illegally crossing our southern border over the weekend. Now,
- 0:25Speaker 1: before I get you to that story, I want to
- 0:27Speaker 1: go back to twenty twenty one when this was a
- 0:31Speaker 1: big moment of a red flag for this administration to
- 0:36Speaker 1: shut down the southern border because agents were apprehending potential
- 0:41Speaker 1: terrorists coming across the southern border ABC five out of Arizona.
- 0:46Speaker 1: This was their story at the time. This is again
- 0:49Speaker 1: back in twenty twenty one.
- 0:50Speaker 3: Thank you, Cody you. Mus Sector Border Patrol agents have
- 0:53Speaker 3: arrested a potential terrorist. According to UMUS Sector Border Patrol agents,
- 0:58Speaker 3: the suspect was twenty one years old. They made the
- 1:01Speaker 3: arrest on Thursday and say he was arrested after entering
- 1:04Speaker 3: the us I legally.
- 1:06Speaker 4: They believe he is a.
- 1:07Speaker 3: Migrant from Saudi Arabia, linked to several Yemeni subjects of
- 1:11Speaker 3: interest and a possible terrorist. When he has not been identified,
- 1:15Speaker 3: he was wearing a Central County Volunteer jacket, which is
- 1:19Speaker 3: an ambulance county out of New York. News four to
- 1:22Speaker 3: Tucson reached out to that company, who says the suspect
- 1:25Speaker 3: is not connected to their organization.
- 1:28Speaker 4: I'm unsure of how he obtained it. We have policies
- 1:30Speaker 4: in place when a playe leaves and planet that we
- 1:33Speaker 4: retrieve all the property. But that particular jacket was used
- 1:36Speaker 4: for about ten years, which was well before my time.
- 1:40Speaker 4: So in of course a ten years wanted to have
- 1:43Speaker 4: probably slip through the cracks.
- 1:45Speaker 3: We reached out to CBP and are still awaiting their response.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Now I love that.
- 1:50Speaker 1: In twenty two I'm like, ah, you know some terrorists,
- 1:52Speaker 1: may you know I actually fall through the cracks there.
- 1:55Speaker 1: But it's nothing big, nothing you should actually worry about.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Everything's totally fine. Then there was the other warning that
- 2:02Speaker 1: came out, and it was a big warning, this happening again.
- 2:06Speaker 1: And this was the US Border Patrol chief telling the
- 2:10Speaker 1: Trump administration back in twenty sixteen that you are inheriting
- 2:16Speaker 1: a disaster from Barack Obama and the number of AsSalt
- 2:19Speaker 1: on Border Patrol agents had gone up two hundred percent
- 2:22Speaker 1: last year. The final year of Obama in office. Again
- 2:25Speaker 1: another warning.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Listen.
- 2:27Speaker 5: Good morning, Chairman Johnson, Rankimen Macarper, and distinguished members of
- 2:31Speaker 5: the Committee, thank you for the opportunity to allow us
- 2:34Speaker 5: to talk today about the United States Border Patrol. During
- 2:37Speaker 5: my first four months of chief, I've had the privilege
- 2:39Speaker 5: to travel to eleven sectors to meet with thousands of
- 2:43Speaker 5: the United States Border Patrol agents, staff, and leadership from
- 2:46Speaker 5: the Northern, Southern, and coastal borders, as well as the
- 2:50Speaker 5: United States portol Academy headquarters here in DC, the Canine
- 2:54Speaker 5: Training Facility, and our Special Operations Group in La Paso.
- 2:57Speaker 5: And all these interactions across the country, one thing was
- 3:00Speaker 5: consistent and abundantly clear. The men and women of the
- 3:04Speaker 5: United States bord Patrol have one of the toughest jobs
- 3:07Speaker 5: in federal law enforcement. They are the most assaulted federal
- 3:11Speaker 5: law enforcement in the United States. More than seven four
- 3:14Speaker 5: hundred Border toll agents have been assaulted since two thousand
- 3:17Speaker 5: and six. That rose in FY sixteen by twenties percent,
- 3:21Speaker 5: and year to date we're seeing the increase of assaults
- 3:23Speaker 5: of two hundred percent from the previous year to date.
- 3:27Speaker 5: It's a dangerous job, and since my short time here.
- 3:30Speaker 5: Two Bordertal agents have already been killed in the line
- 3:33Speaker 5: of duty, Agent Manny Avarez and David Gomes. They are
- 3:37Speaker 5: faced with unforgiving terrain and weather, limited resources, long hours,
- 3:41Speaker 5: adverse conditions, and they're often called upon to go above
- 3:45Speaker 5: and beyond what they've been trained to do. They are
- 3:48Speaker 5: tenacious in the pursuit of getting better. They're innovative, and
- 3:51Speaker 5: they have a can do attitude. They are dedicated to
- 3:54Speaker 5: the mission this country themselves and doing something greater than themselves.
- 4:00Speaker 5: Honored to be serving with them. These these are my
- 4:04Speaker 5: first and most important observations of my first four months here.
- 4:09Speaker 1: That is what they walked into. Trump did everything could
- 4:13Speaker 1: to fix that problem. So let's fast forward to the
- 4:17Speaker 1: headlines from today. Not only have we demonized border patrol
- 4:22Speaker 1: agents over the last four years, we've accused them of,
- 4:25Speaker 1: for example, like acting like slave owners. Remember when they
- 4:28Speaker 1: were on the horse and they were whipping illegal immigrants.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Even though it was the angle the picture was taken,
- 4:33Speaker 1: it never happened.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Remember that.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Remember how the White House came out immediately condemning the
- 4:38Speaker 1: actions of the border patrol agents. Right the left came
- 4:41Speaker 1: out and they were condemning the actions of the border
- 4:43Speaker 1: patrol agents. Remember all that, Yeah, and then there was
- 4:46Speaker 1: more warnings, Hey, there's terrorists coming across the border.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Now we don't care about that. Is it so happening? Absolutely?
- 4:53Speaker 1: Four Iranian and two Egyptian nationals have been now caught
- 4:57Speaker 1: illegally crossing the southern US border. US Border patrol agents
- 5:03Speaker 1: announced the arrest of six unique migrants caught crossing the
- 5:06Speaker 1: US southern border on Monday, January the sixth. United States
- 5:09Speaker 1: por Patrol Chief Jason Owens announced the apprehensions of these
- 5:13Speaker 1: of the four Iranian and two Egyptian nationals attempting to
- 5:16Speaker 1: illegally enter the US near El Paso. Nothing to see here, right,
- 5:20Speaker 1: This is totally fine, No news here, Everything's good, right.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Significant arrests is how they described as they announced that
- 5:28Speaker 1: last week the United States por Patrol agents in Olpaso
- 5:30Speaker 1: apprehended four Ranian and two Egyptian nationals, all special interest
- 5:34Speaker 1: migrants attempting to avoid detection. Record checks revealed prior attempted
- 5:39Speaker 1: legal entries. They remain in custom will be processed accordingly
- 5:43Speaker 1: upon the apprehensions of these quote special interest migrants, meaning
- 5:47Speaker 1: we believe there's a good chance that they could be
- 5:49Speaker 1: connected to terrorism or terrorist groups.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Records check to.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Revealed prior attempted legal entries into the United States of America.
- 5:57Speaker 1: The circumstances of their prior entries and the United States,
- 6:00Speaker 1: as well as personal or potential criminal histories are unclear
- 6:04Speaker 1: quote unquote. At this time, we're we're working to learn
- 6:07Speaker 1: more about the situation.
- 6:08Speaker 2: They announce.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Now, this is what has happened while Donald Trump has
- 6:14Speaker 1: not been in office. The left is decided to open
- 6:17Speaker 1: the border, allow everyone to come in, and whoever they
- 6:21Speaker 1: want to let in, we let them stay. We look
- 6:23Speaker 1: the other way, and that's what they do. It is sad,
- 6:28Speaker 1: it is sick. It is also putting American lives at risk.
- 6:31Speaker 1: We continue to see right now this administration have a
- 6:35Speaker 1: wide open border policy, and the policy is going to
- 6:39Speaker 1: stay into effect until January the twentieth. Now it's going
- 6:41Speaker 1: to change drastically. But when you look at these types
- 6:44Speaker 1: of individuals coming across the southern border, if they're not
- 6:48Speaker 1: in here now, I'm sure the terror slite get there
- 6:50Speaker 1: fast in the first few days or weeks the Trump administration,
- 6:54Speaker 1: while they're trying to get a secure border back up
- 6:56Speaker 1: and running it's going to take time. And this is
- 6:59Speaker 1: the vulnerability that has happened and been caused by the
- 7:03Speaker 1: Biden and Harris administration refusing to keep us safe. You
- 7:08Speaker 1: go back to action. Speak louder than words. Sometimes, yes,
- 7:13Speaker 1: that is true. But what Donald Trump's actions from four
- 7:18Speaker 1: years ago proved is that his words now when he speaks,
- 7:23Speaker 1: others respond and react accordingly because they know he's not
- 7:27Speaker 1: screwing around. And so when Donald Trump comes out there
- 7:31Speaker 1: and tells you you better release the hostages Hamas and
- 7:35Speaker 1: the terrorist groups around the world, they understand he's not
- 7:38Speaker 1: lying like they get it, folks. They completely understand this
- 7:44Speaker 1: threat from Donald Trump, and they understand that they're probably
- 7:48Speaker 1: gonna die if they don't do what Donald Trump says,
- 7:51Speaker 1: which is you better release the hostages before I'm sworn in,
- 7:55Speaker 1: because if I am the president, there will be hell
- 8:03Speaker 1: to pay. One other thing that is interesting, that's breaking
- 8:07Speaker 1: news right now. Tom Homan set down and was asked
- 8:11Speaker 1: a question about birthright citizenship as he is coming in
- 8:14Speaker 1: to deal with the illegal immigration issue, and this is
- 8:17Speaker 1: what he said.
- 8:19Speaker 6: Should birthright citizenship come to an end, I'll leave that
- 8:21Speaker 6: up to the president make that decisions.
- 8:24Speaker 2: But what's your opinion you think of ship.
- 8:27Speaker 6: I'll say this birthright citizenship is a major driver of
- 8:31Speaker 6: illegal and garson And that's what the whole controversy is
- 8:35Speaker 6: about right now. Right if you're coming to the country legally,
- 8:37Speaker 6: which is a crime, you get ordered, you lose your hearing,
- 8:40Speaker 6: that federal judge says you must go home or you
- 8:42Speaker 6: don't show up in court, and you get what they
- 8:44Speaker 6: called order and absent you you order removed and have
- 8:47Speaker 6: a US citizen child. People think there should be mute.
- 8:51Speaker 6: It'll all means nothing to you now, because you knew
- 8:53Speaker 6: you're in the country legally, you chose to have an
- 8:55Speaker 6: illegal aling. I mean, you chose to have a US
- 8:58Speaker 6: citizen child knowing you're in the country, knowing your order deported,
- 9:02Speaker 6: and you wouldn't made that decision. That's on you.
- 9:05Speaker 2: That's on you.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Notice how everything is changing before he's even sworn in,
- 9:13Speaker 1: And they're going to keep lying to you and they're
- 9:15Speaker 1: going to try to undermine Donald Trump. But the fact
- 9:17Speaker 1: is Donald Trump is feared by the terrorists as much
- 9:20Speaker 1: as he's feared apparently now by the Democratic Party in
- 9:23Speaker 1: the media. And it is going to be really fun
- 9:25Speaker 1: to watch one of the confirmation hearings that actually really
- 9:29Speaker 1: isn't one that's like very sexy, is actually a really
- 9:32Speaker 1: important one, and it is of Scott be sent to
- 9:36Speaker 1: be the Secretary of the Treasury. He had a very
- 9:39Speaker 1: interesting back and forth with Bernie Sanders. Now, Bernie Sanders'
- 9:43Speaker 1: premise is that there's too many people at the top
- 9:45Speaker 1: that have all the money.
- 9:47Speaker 2: We need to break them up.
- 9:48Speaker 1: And there's bad people out there like mister Moss, mister Bezos,
- 9:51Speaker 1: and mister Zuckerberg of Facebook. Bezos Amazon also owns The
- 9:55Speaker 1: Washington Post, and so now they're angry.
- 9:58Speaker 2: They're also angry about Rupert Burdock, they say, because Ruper.
- 10:01Speaker 1: Moriok has power and they can't control him, and he
- 10:04Speaker 1: owns Fox News Channel. You get the rhythm here, right,
- 10:07Speaker 1: You understand how this is going. So take a listen
- 10:11Speaker 1: to the response from the guy who's gonna be the
- 10:13Speaker 1: Treasury secretary. And if you look at his job as
- 10:16Speaker 1: Treasury secretary, what Bernie Sanders is saying is you, as
- 10:21Speaker 1: Treasury secretary, your job should be one hundred percent political,
- 10:23Speaker 1: and you should go after people that have too much money,
- 10:25Speaker 1: and you should attack them for having too much money,
- 10:29Speaker 1: like he's wanting to weaponize the Treasury Secretary to go
- 10:33Speaker 1: after and to attack the wealthiest people in this country
- 10:38Speaker 1: and to hold people down who make their money in
- 10:42Speaker 1: the private sector or build something great like Tesla for example,
- 10:48Speaker 1: or Amazon. By the way, if you made Amazon, I
- 10:51Speaker 1: don't care about politics just in general. This is like
- 10:53Speaker 1: a blunt statement that I think most sane people would
- 10:57Speaker 1: agree with.
- 10:59Speaker 2: If you started.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Amazon, something that everybody I know uses like every day,
- 11:06Speaker 1: I think you should be insanely rich because you did
- 11:10Speaker 1: a once in a lifetime maybe once in a century.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Thing and it worked.
- 11:17Speaker 1: It's which is incredible, Like it's truly unbelievable.
- 11:22Speaker 2: That's number one.
- 11:23Speaker 1: If you do something like Facebook, I think you should
- 11:26Speaker 1: be insanely rich because you created something that's once in
- 11:30Speaker 1: a lifetime or once in a century century, and I
- 11:33Speaker 1: think you should deserve to be insanely wealthy for that.
- 11:38Speaker 1: If you create an electric vehicle that turns it into
- 11:41Speaker 1: mainstream and people buy it, and this is just like
- 11:45Speaker 1: one of the ways made money, but it's a pretty
- 11:47Speaker 1: big one.
- 11:48Speaker 2: I would hope that you were insanely wealthy.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Just like if you were the Ford family and you
- 11:53Speaker 1: created four cars and trucks in F one fifties like
- 11:56Speaker 1: the Ford Mustang. I think you should be insanely rich,
- 11:59Speaker 1: and I have no problem with you being insanely rich
- 12:01Speaker 1: in that scenario. But what Bernie Sanders is saying is
- 12:05Speaker 1: we only allow you to stay rich if you support us,
- 12:10Speaker 1: and if you don't support us, then we want to
- 12:12Speaker 1: take away your money. That is what communists, socialists, Marxists do.
- 12:20Speaker 1: That's no different than the Russian oligarchs that we have
- 12:23Speaker 1: in Russia, where if you give money back and you
- 12:27Speaker 1: support Vladimir Putin, then there is a group of oligarchs
- 12:32Speaker 1: that prop him up and then he allows him to
- 12:34Speaker 1: make ungodly amounts of money that is completely different than
- 12:38Speaker 1: what we have in this country. And the three people
- 12:40Speaker 1: that he just described are four people we just described.
- 12:42Speaker 1: So again, the Treasury Secretary nominee is like, dude, this
- 12:46Speaker 1: isn't my job and this is really messed up what
- 12:48Speaker 1: you're saying. He doesn't say it that way. He's obviously
- 12:51Speaker 1: going through confirmation. He's going to say it a little
- 12:53Speaker 1: bit differently. But I want you to listen carefully to
- 12:54Speaker 1: his words.
- 12:56Speaker 7: I enjoyed or visit, and I hope you got my
- 12:59Speaker 7: follow up material on the discussions might predicious writings on
- 13:04Speaker 7: the terrorists and China and the three billionaires who you
- 13:13Speaker 7: listed that all made the money themselves. Mister Musk came
- 13:19Speaker 7: to the country as an immigrant.
- 13:21Speaker 8: I understand that. But what I'm asking you is when
- 13:25Speaker 8: you have a handful of people like Musk who will
- 13:28Speaker 8: soon be part of the Trump administration and others, When
- 13:33Speaker 8: you have three people owning more wealth than the bottom
- 13:36Speaker 8: half of American society, when these people have enormous influence
- 13:40Speaker 8: over the media, when they spend huge amounts of money
- 13:43Speaker 8: in both political parties to elect candidates. What Biden said
- 13:47Speaker 8: last night is we're moving toward an oligarchy. I'm asking
- 13:50Speaker 8: you that question. Do you think, forget how they made
- 13:52Speaker 8: their money. Do you think that when so few people
- 13:56Speaker 8: have so much wealth and so much economic and political power,
- 13:59Speaker 8: that that it's an oligockic form of society.
- 14:02Speaker 7: Well, I wouldn't note that they. President Biden gave the
- 14:07Speaker 7: Presidential Medal of Freedom to two people who I think
- 14:10Speaker 7: would qualify for his oligarchs.
- 14:12Speaker 8: So this is not a condemnation of any one individual.
- 14:18Speaker 8: I'm just asking you when so few people have so
- 14:20Speaker 8: much wealth and power, But do you think that that
- 14:24Speaker 8: is an oligackic form of society.
- 14:27Speaker 7: Senator, I think it depends on the ability to move
- 14:33Speaker 7: up and down the end.
- 14:35Speaker 8: No, that's not really dancer. I mean, even if you
- 14:37Speaker 8: had the mobility, no matter who those individuals might be.
- 14:40Speaker 8: All right, But let me ask you another question.
- 14:42Speaker 1: I love how I moved on because he obviously got
- 14:45Speaker 1: smacked around there. Like what you heard there from the
- 14:50Speaker 1: nominee was, Hey, Biden, like, you know, giving metal freedoms
- 14:55Speaker 1: to oligarchs, Like you want to stop that, Like it's
- 14:59Speaker 1: a really strong point. You maybe want to, like, you know,
- 15:04Speaker 1: not blackmail people. Hey, you want to be successful, We'll
- 15:07Speaker 1: let you, but only if you give us a bunch
- 15:09Speaker 1: of your money so that we can run for election
- 15:11Speaker 1: re election. That is the standard that Bernie Sanders is
- 15:14Speaker 1: saying for you to stay in good favor with the
- 15:17Speaker 1: United States government.
- 15:18Speaker 2: And what loses you is.
- 15:20Speaker 1: If you actually think for yourself and you're not an oligarch.
- 15:24Speaker 1: You go back to the threat that Joe Biden made,
- 15:28Speaker 1: and the threat that Joe Biden made was one that
- 15:31Speaker 1: was I think clear. He's saying, we've lost power, and
- 15:35Speaker 1: those that are still around in power, you need to
- 15:39Speaker 1: do what you need to do now to go after
- 15:43Speaker 1: the wealthy people out there that are no longer under
- 15:46Speaker 1: our thumb, like this is insane. In his farewell address
- 15:52Speaker 1: to the country, he is warning his radical supporters that
- 15:58Speaker 1: are in the government that you better do your best
- 16:02Speaker 1: now to attack people. You better go out there and
- 16:06Speaker 1: and really hammer these people that are now a threat
- 16:11Speaker 1: to our power, not to America, but to our power.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Whether it's a threat of climate change, he says, has
- 16:18Speaker 1: never been clear. And you better go after anybody in
- 16:20Speaker 1: the own gas industry. It's like it's a hit list.
- 16:23Speaker 1: That's that's what this is. It's a hit list. And
- 16:26Speaker 1: Senator Tim Kaine, if you don't think this is who
- 16:29Speaker 1: he was talking to, the ones that are still in power,
- 16:32Speaker 1: listen to what Tim Kaine said on see It End,
- 16:36Speaker 1: because he heard the he heard the call, he heard
- 16:38Speaker 1: the trumpet that is like we still have to go
- 16:41Speaker 1: to war with conservatives and try to shut them down.
- 16:45Speaker 9: And Senator I forgive me, I'm covering a lot of ground.
- 16:47Speaker 9: But President Biden did address the nation last night from
- 16:49Speaker 9: the Oval Office. He talked about his fear that an
- 16:53Speaker 9: oligarchy is taking over this country, uh that there is
- 16:57Speaker 9: a tech industrial complex that has too much influence in
- 17:01Speaker 9: this country. He offered some pretty stark warnings for the nation.
- 17:06Speaker 9: As Donald Trump is about to return to the White House.
- 17:08Speaker 9: What did you make of that?
- 17:10Speaker 10: You know, the comments really echoed in my mind. It
- 17:13Speaker 10: reminded me of something, and it reminded me of what
- 17:16Speaker 10: President Eisenhower said.
- 17:18Speaker 2: As he was leaving office.
- 17:20Speaker 10: This general who led us to victory in World War Two,
- 17:23Speaker 10: warned America that a military industrial complex could have too
- 17:26Speaker 10: much impact on American politics and push us into needless
- 17:32Speaker 10: military expenditures and even hostilities that we shouldn't be in.
- 17:36Speaker 10: Those were very precient words then, and I don't know
- 17:39Speaker 10: if President Biden was sort of consciously echoing those or not.
- 17:43Speaker 10: I know he is sincerely worried about it, and I
- 17:45Speaker 10: think a lot of Americans are. You think there's an
- 17:48Speaker 10: oligarchy that's taking over in this country. You know that
- 17:51Speaker 10: I am worried about the power of these of the
- 17:55Speaker 10: tech bros, who you know, have a lot of time
- 17:58Speaker 10: on their hands because they have so many millions, and
- 18:01Speaker 10: they want to get involved in politics, and they usually
- 18:03Speaker 10: want to get involved in politics to feather their own nests.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Ooh, the tech bros. You hear the marketing here. It's
- 18:10Speaker 1: pretty good marketing. Right, Let's label them the tech bros.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Who's he talking about. He's talking about Elon Musk and
- 18:19Speaker 1: Mark Zuckerberg. He's talking about those two. And what he's
- 18:23Speaker 1: saying to democrats is and also to them, is you
- 18:27Speaker 1: guys better not go.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Too far to freedom of speech and to.
- 18:35Speaker 1: True freedom on your networks, because if you do, we
- 18:42Speaker 1: will come after you. We will weaponize our government to
- 18:45Speaker 1: come against you. By the way, this is what Zuckerberg
- 18:48Speaker 1: said in his interview. He said, dude, like, they told
- 18:51Speaker 1: us that we need to start silencing and censoring people,
- 18:54Speaker 1: and then when we didn't respond the way they wanted to,
- 18:57Speaker 1: they then had the entire US government come after to us.
- 19:00Speaker 1: So then he says, like, then, I'm basically a little
- 19:02Speaker 1: wis and I just gave in and did whatever they
- 19:03Speaker 1: told me to do. I silenced anybody they wanted me
- 19:06Speaker 1: to silence. I shut down anything they wanted me to
- 19:08Speaker 1: shut down. I did whatever they told I was there,
- 19:10Speaker 1: bitch like.
- 19:11Speaker 2: That's what I was. And now I'm going to tell
- 19:14Speaker 2: you that that's what I was.
- 19:15Speaker 1: But you should understand why, because I'm just a billionaire
- 19:17Speaker 1: that didn't want everything to go away instead of actually
- 19:20Speaker 1: fighting back. And what they're saying now is, oh, so,
- 19:23Speaker 1: now that conservatives are in charge, you're going to tell
- 19:25Speaker 1: this side of the story. Well, guess what, you better
- 19:28Speaker 1: shut up and get back in line, because one day
- 19:29Speaker 1: we're going to be back in charge, and when we're
- 19:31Speaker 1: in charge, we're going to use the Treasury Secretary to
- 19:34Speaker 1: come after you. We're going to use the FBI to
- 19:37Speaker 1: come after you. We're going to use the dj to
- 19:39Speaker 1: come after you. We're going to do to you what
- 19:42Speaker 1: we did to Donald Trump. That is the warning out
- 19:45Speaker 1: of this Treasury Secretary moment here, And I think everybody
- 19:50Speaker 1: that hears this should be really really concerned over what
- 19:56Speaker 1: you just hurt, because they're telling you if you give
- 20:00Speaker 1: them power again, they are going to lock up their
- 20:03Speaker 1: political enemies and it's not going to be at the top,
- 20:06Speaker 1: it's gonna be anybody with money in the middle. That's
- 20:09Speaker 1: the warning, and it's a threat. And I actually believe
- 20:13Speaker 1: them when they say this is their threat, like I
- 20:16Speaker 1: actually believe that they are not lying to you and
- 20:18Speaker 1: I when they make this threat. They're not lying to
- 20:22Speaker 1: these individuals they named outright with this threat, and I
- 20:27Speaker 1: think Bezos will probably get back in line. I think
- 20:30Speaker 1: Zuckerberg is probably gonna play it. Whoever's in power, he's
- 20:33Speaker 1: going to play to them. I think Elon can't be bought,
- 20:36Speaker 1: and I think Murdoch says, hey, I'm old enough, screw you.
- 20:40Speaker 1: I'm still going to do Fox News Channel. But they're
- 20:43Speaker 1: sending a very clear precedent and signal for the future.
- 20:47Speaker 1: You don't do what we want you to do even
- 20:48Speaker 1: when we're not in power. Know what we're going to
- 20:51Speaker 1: do to you when we are in power, and it's
- 20:53Speaker 1: going to get nasty. Center Cruse and I we do
- 20:56Speaker 1: our podcast that we do together called Vertic with Ted Cruz,
- 20:59Speaker 1: and every once in while we have something like this,
- 21:00Speaker 1: I play part of it here because it's important. I
- 21:02Speaker 1: want you to hear it, and I want you to
- 21:05Speaker 1: hear what Senata Cruz had to say about this back
- 21:07Speaker 1: and forth in this really important commitment.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Listen carefully to his words.
- 21:11Speaker 1: It is also goes back to this other narrative when
- 21:14Speaker 1: we heard it from the President of the United States
- 21:15Speaker 1: of America the other night, he was obsessed with this
- 21:18Speaker 1: idea of oligarchs. I actually think this was a little
- 21:21Speaker 1: bit different, and Bernie Sanders started naming names when he
- 21:26Speaker 1: was doing the confirmation hearing for the man who's up
- 21:29Speaker 1: for Treasury secretary, and I want to get your take,
- 21:33Speaker 1: and we're going to play Bernie. But one of the
- 21:35Speaker 1: things I felt was really kind of icky about this
- 21:39Speaker 1: was the fact that it's like, hey, we're warning some
- 21:43Speaker 1: of you that have stepped out of line from the
- 21:45Speaker 1: Democratic Party that we're coming after you when we get
- 21:50Speaker 1: our power back if you step out too far into
- 21:53Speaker 1: the conservative side of things. And that's why we're warning
- 21:58Speaker 1: you that if we name you as a an oligark,
- 22:01Speaker 1: then if we get our when we get our power back,
- 22:04Speaker 1: there's going to be some sort of hell to pay.
- 22:07Speaker 1: And you better be careful how much you work with
- 22:09Speaker 1: Donald Trump and you support freedom of speech and you
- 22:12Speaker 1: support freedom of expression online and the able the ability
- 22:16Speaker 1: to post things. And that's what it was boiling down to,
- 22:19Speaker 1: and it was I think even more weird. It was
- 22:22Speaker 1: in a back and forth with the guy for Treasury secretary,
- 22:25Speaker 1: It's like, wait, are you trying to weaponize Treasury to say, hey,
- 22:28Speaker 1: your job is to now make sure there's no billionaires
- 22:31Speaker 1: in America?
- 22:33Speaker 11: Well, look, it's worth giving a listen. So listen to
- 22:35Speaker 11: this back and forth, and in terms of the demagogic
- 22:40Speaker 11: language of the Democrat Party, this is a great example.
- 22:43Speaker 5: Give a listen.
- 22:44Speaker 8: When you have a small number of multi billionaires who
- 22:50Speaker 8: have enormous economic, media and political power. Would you agree
- 22:57Speaker 8: with President Biden who last I stated, and I quote
- 23:01Speaker 8: and Oligauki is taking shape in America of extreme wealth
- 23:06Speaker 8: power and influence that threatens our entire democracy, our basic
- 23:11Speaker 8: rights and freedom's.
- 23:13Speaker 2: End of quote.
- 23:13Speaker 8: That's what President Biden said last night. I agree with him,
- 23:17Speaker 8: do you.
- 23:18Speaker 7: I enjoyed our visit, and I hope you got my
- 23:21Speaker 7: follow up materials that we've owned, the discussions, my predicious
- 23:25Speaker 7: writings on the Terrists and China and the three billionaires
- 23:34Speaker 7: who you listed that all made the money themselves. Mister
- 23:41Speaker 7: Musk came to the country as an immigrant.
- 23:43Speaker 8: I understand that. But what I'm asking you is when
- 23:47Speaker 8: you have a handful of people like Musk who will
- 23:51Speaker 8: soon be part of the Trump administration and others, When
- 23:56Speaker 8: you have three people owing more wealth than the bottom
- 23:58Speaker 8: half of Americans societ, when these people have enormous influence
- 24:02Speaker 8: over the media, when they spend huge amounts of money
- 24:05Speaker 8: in both political parties to elect candidates. What Biden said
- 24:09Speaker 8: last night is we're moving toward an oligarchy. I'm asking
- 24:12Speaker 8: you that question. Do you think, forget how they made
- 24:15Speaker 8: their money. Do you think that when so few people
- 24:18Speaker 8: have so much wealth and so much economic and political power,
- 24:22Speaker 8: that that is an oligoxic form of society?
- 24:24Speaker 7: Well, I wouldn't note that the President Biden gave the
- 24:29Speaker 7: Presidential Metal of Freedom to two people who I think
- 24:32Speaker 7: would qualify for his oligarchs.
- 24:35Speaker 8: So this is not a condemnation of any one individual.
- 24:40Speaker 8: I'm just asking you when so few people have so
- 24:43Speaker 8: much wealth and power, But do you think that that
- 24:47Speaker 8: is an oligarchic form of society?
- 24:50Speaker 7: Senator, I think it depends on the ability to move
- 24:56Speaker 7: up and down the end.
- 24:57Speaker 8: No, that's not really dancer. I mean, even if you
- 24:59Speaker 8: had mobility, no matter who those individuals might be. All right,
- 25:03Speaker 8: but let me ask you another question.
- 25:05Speaker 1: I love there how He's like, all right, I'm gonna
- 25:06Speaker 1: move on because this isn't landing and just threw it
- 25:08Speaker 1: back in my face that we just gave medals of
- 25:11Speaker 1: the highest level of metal you can give to a
- 25:15Speaker 1: civilian to two of the people that would be categorized oligarks.
- 25:18Speaker 1: One of them, by the way, is a hard core
- 25:22Speaker 1: radical by the name of George Soros.
- 25:25Speaker 11: George Soros just got the Medal of Freedom from Joe Biden.
- 25:29Speaker 11: He celebrated. He also gave it to Hillary Clinton. And
- 25:32Speaker 11: and by the way, before that, Barack Obama gave the
- 25:35Speaker 11: Medal of Freedom to Bill Gates and and listen, the
- 25:38Speaker 11: position of Bernie Sanders is, we hate billionaires. Unless you're
- 25:42Speaker 11: billionaires who support socialists and the Democrat Party, then you're okay.
- 25:46Speaker 11: But to be clear, you're only okay if you're buying absolution.
- 25:50Speaker 11: The instant you stop buying absolution, we will demonize you,
- 25:54Speaker 11: and we will burn you an effigy in the streets.
- 25:57Speaker 11: And I gotta say, I like Scott Bessen's point. He's like, wait,
- 26:00Speaker 11: you're attacking these people. None of these three people you're
- 26:04Speaker 11: attacking none of them inherited wealth. You know, Elon Musk
- 26:08Speaker 11: came as an immigrant from Africa, like he built amazing
- 26:12Speaker 11: companies and and to a socialist, they don't care what
- 26:17Speaker 11: you did to build wealth. They're going to demonize you.
- 26:20Speaker 11: They're going to attack you. And it's an example of
- 26:24Speaker 11: and and by the way. It's it's why you get
- 26:26Speaker 11: so many incredibly rich, so many billionaires who backed the
- 26:30Speaker 11: Democrat Party because they're basically paying for protection from Roba spear,
- 26:37Speaker 11: from from from the guillotine in the French Revolution. And
- 26:41Speaker 11: and I got to say that that is where the
- 26:44Speaker 11: Democrat Party is. But I'll give Scott Besson a shout out.
- 26:47Speaker 11: He responded with fantastic answers, which is why Bernie ran
- 26:54Speaker 11: ran to the hills and ran away because he realized
- 26:56Speaker 11: it wasn't going the way he wanted. Scott Besson's going
- 26:59Speaker 11: to get confirmed. Every Trump cabinet member is going to
- 27:01Speaker 11: get confirmed.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Now, all the data that I just gave you, I'm
- 27:05Speaker 1: going to ask you to share it on social media.
- 27:07Speaker 1: I'm going to ask to share it with your family
- 27:09Speaker 1: and your friends. We do this show every day on
- 27:12Speaker 1: social media, so make sure again grab it, download it,
- 27:16Speaker 1: and if you get to see our videos on social media,
- 27:18Speaker 1: please share them because as you know that the big
- 27:21Speaker 1: tech suppresses everything we do here. And I'll see you
- 27:25Speaker 1: back here tomorrow
