- 1:43Speaker 2: got to turn mouth a w the mop. Look, come me,
- 1:58Speaker 2: come on.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Your b a I sure will good right and everybody,
- 2:05Speaker 1: y'all listen to the voice.
- 2:06Speaker 6: Come on dig me now, one and only. Steve Harvey
- 2:09Speaker 6: got a radio show. Hell Man back in business too,
- 2:14Speaker 6: Man Man, how good is God? I mean, really, if
- 2:18Speaker 6: you think about it in spite of all that's going
- 2:20Speaker 6: down in your life. First of all, it could be worse.
- 2:23Speaker 6: But secondly, sometimes you have to remember. And I've just
- 2:27Speaker 6: had to have this conversation with myself this morning. That's
- 2:31Speaker 6: how I'm fresh on this one right here. When a
- 2:34Speaker 6: challenge faces you, are you going through a difficult moment,
- 2:38Speaker 6: or you didn't hit a bump in the road in
- 2:41Speaker 6: the middle of that, If you could manage to be grateful,
- 2:45Speaker 6: it would take you a long way. Gratitude is a
- 2:49Speaker 6: powerful resource if you can be grateful in the middle
- 2:52Speaker 6: of it. Gratitude is a powerful resource when it's dim.
- 2:59Speaker 6: For you got a little bumpy on the road, and
- 3:02Speaker 6: he ran into some obstacles, and you done ran up
- 3:04Speaker 6: into some detailed signs, and your journey ain't smooth as
- 3:08Speaker 6: it was last week or last year. You gotta be
- 3:13Speaker 6: grateful for the things that are going right and that
- 3:18Speaker 6: have gone right, and for the thing that's wrong right
- 3:21Speaker 6: now to get right?
- 3:23Speaker 1: Man? Can I share that with you? Man? Is that
- 3:25Speaker 1: a tough one to learn?
- 3:27Speaker 7: It is?
- 3:27Speaker 1: For me.
- 3:28Speaker 6: It has been one of my toughest challenges is to
- 3:32Speaker 6: learn how to be grateful because it's a powerful resource,
- 3:36Speaker 6: but how to be grateful in moments of despair when
- 3:39Speaker 6: it ain't going right. See here's a mistake I would make.
- 3:43Speaker 6: See when something go wrong, I want to focus on
- 3:45Speaker 6: the wrong so much in an attempt to fix it.
- 3:49Speaker 6: But even then the focus ain't always in to fix it.
- 3:54Speaker 6: The focus becomes, Man, this is bad. Man, I can't
- 3:58Speaker 6: believe this is happening. I keep going down. That doesn't
- 4:02Speaker 6: fix anything, you know, mealing over it, going over what's wrong,
- 4:08Speaker 6: explaining it, sharing it with your friends, you know, making
- 4:14Speaker 6: it sound worse than it is. Tell the story for
- 4:18Speaker 6: pity from other people. All of that right, that has
- 4:20Speaker 6: nothing to do with the fix. Sometimes you're just mulling
- 4:23Speaker 6: over it. You're just making it worse. You're just making
- 4:26Speaker 6: it a bigger problem. You're manifesting it into your atmosphere,
- 4:31Speaker 6: You're putting it out there in your spirit. Now, all
- 4:33Speaker 6: of a sudden, it consumes your day. Next thing, you know,
- 4:36Speaker 6: you're having a bad day. If you're having a bad day,
- 4:38Speaker 6: it's because you've been having some bad thoughts. So what
- 4:42Speaker 6: I've had to learn how to do, and what I'm
- 4:44Speaker 6: working on this morning is I'm working on the situation
- 4:48Speaker 6: that then cropped up. I was going kind of smooth
- 4:50Speaker 6: here for a minute, and now then got real bumpy
- 4:53Speaker 6: in the road, you know, and all this here. So
- 4:55Speaker 6: what I'm thinking about now, though, is even though I've
- 4:58Speaker 6: hit a bump in the road, and even though I
- 5:01Speaker 6: done ran into a detour, and even though I've hit
- 5:05Speaker 6: this lull.
- 5:06Speaker 1: I'm going down into a valley, I ain't up on
- 5:09Speaker 1: the peak.
- 5:10Speaker 6: Can I not still be grateful for all the things
- 5:14Speaker 6: that God has given me, for all the things He's
- 5:17Speaker 6: done for me, for all the things He's brought me through,
- 5:21Speaker 6: And realizing that even this that's happening to me again,
- 5:25Speaker 6: is going to pass to He gonna get me through
- 5:28Speaker 6: that too. Come on, man, God is a good god man.
- 5:31Speaker 6: It's a lot to be grateful for. So while I'm
- 5:33Speaker 6: tripping on this bumping the road out and here, what
- 5:36Speaker 6: I got to remember is all the things He's done
- 5:38Speaker 6: for me. And like I say, my saying is join
- 5:41Speaker 6: depression cannot reside in the same place. So instead of
- 5:44Speaker 6: being down about this new bumping the road, if I'm
- 5:47Speaker 6: constantly filling my mind with the thoughts of how good
- 5:50Speaker 6: he's been to me, of what all he's done for me,
- 5:54Speaker 6: of all the things he's brought me through, of all
- 5:56Speaker 6: the blessings he's presented me with. When I go down
- 5:59Speaker 6: that list, I really don't have a lot of time
- 6:03Speaker 6: to mull over the situation.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Now. Do I have to fix this bump in the row?
- 6:09Speaker 1: Of course I do.
- 6:11Speaker 6: Are There's some things I'm going to have to do
- 6:12Speaker 6: to straighten it out, of course it is. But Steve
- 6:16Speaker 6: just going to get the business of doing it and
- 6:18Speaker 6: straighten it out. What you mulling over and worrying about
- 6:21Speaker 6: it for you know, old people. I heard old people
- 6:23Speaker 6: say something when I was growing up in the church.
- 6:25Speaker 6: They say, if you're gonna pray about it, don't worry
- 6:27Speaker 6: about it. But if you're gonna worry about it, don't
- 6:30Speaker 6: pray about it. That's an amazing thing. And prayer just
- 6:34Speaker 6: happens to be my weapon of choice. Now, it ain't
- 6:37Speaker 6: always been that way. I want you to understand that
- 6:40Speaker 6: my first weapon of choice was you do it to me,
- 6:42Speaker 6: I do it to you. You called me out, I
- 6:45Speaker 6: call you out. You say something bad about me. I've
- 6:47Speaker 6: tried to find you say something bad about you. That
- 6:50Speaker 6: was my weapon in the past. How did that work
- 6:53Speaker 6: out for you, Steve?
- 6:54Speaker 1: Not so good?
- 6:56Speaker 6: Because you know what, I spend a lot of time
- 6:59Speaker 6: fight back, kicking back, swinging back, when I could have
- 7:03Speaker 6: spent all that time climbing. See all you trying to
- 7:07Speaker 6: do at the end of the day, folks, is have
- 7:09Speaker 6: a better life than the one you got. All you
- 7:12Speaker 6: trying to do is to improve your position in life.
- 7:14Speaker 6: You know, it's not my business to make sure you
- 7:17Speaker 6: don't get where you're going. I ain't got no time
- 7:20Speaker 6: for that. It's not my job to assure that you
- 7:23Speaker 6: ain't as high as me. I ain't got no time
- 7:26Speaker 6: for that. Your real mission and purpose is to have
- 7:30Speaker 6: the best life that you can have, to ascend to
- 7:33Speaker 6: the highest plateau that you can get to, to make
- 7:36Speaker 6: your family as comfortable as you can, to provide as.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Much as you can for your family. But legally, see,
- 7:43Speaker 1: those of.
- 7:43Speaker 6: Us are sitting up here trying to come up with sideways.
- 7:46Speaker 6: You can ask a couple million men sitting in prison
- 7:49Speaker 6: today how they wish they hadn't done that, and they'll
- 7:52Speaker 6: tell you, Oh, man, I wish I never had did it.
- 7:55Speaker 6: I knew not to go down there. Something told me
- 7:58Speaker 6: not to go down there. Man, if I could change things,
- 8:01Speaker 6: I would. But they sitting somewhere doing some time that
- 8:06Speaker 6: had they made another decision they wouldn't have to do now.
- 8:09Speaker 6: That don't make them throw away people, nah, man, Because
- 8:12Speaker 6: everybody make mistakes, and God is in the forgiving business.
- 8:15Speaker 6: And some of us have done some things that really
- 8:18Speaker 6: broke the law, and a whole lot of other things
- 8:21Speaker 6: and deserve to do some time. But through the grace
- 8:23Speaker 6: of God, we didn't. But now we sit up here
- 8:25Speaker 6: we pass judgment on people who got to do some matter.
- 8:28Speaker 1: I don't care. I don't care what you've done. God
- 8:30Speaker 1: can forgive anything.
- 8:32Speaker 6: But our position, our motivation, in life is to try
- 8:36Speaker 6: to have the best life we can have and provide
- 8:38Speaker 6: for those around us and make it comfortable. If that's
- 8:41Speaker 6: your ambition, you don't have time to worry about or
- 8:45Speaker 6: concern yourself with another person. And I wasted time doing that,
- 8:51Speaker 6: And that's not the way to get it done. It's
- 8:54Speaker 6: simply mine to your business. Taking care of you and
- 8:57Speaker 6: getting yourself right and tight is twenty four to seven,
- 9:00Speaker 6: so that's a full time job. So what I had
- 9:02Speaker 6: to learn was and what I've the reason I've chosen
- 9:06Speaker 6: prayers as my weapon of choice now is that now
- 9:10Speaker 6: prayer helps me that I don't have to fight back.
- 9:14Speaker 6: Now if I get cornered, I'm gonna fight you. I
- 9:17Speaker 6: ain't even gonna lie to you. And now I'm still
- 9:20Speaker 6: working on some things that trigger me. You know, you know,
- 9:24Speaker 6: you know, and and and and so I'm I'm slowly
- 9:28Speaker 6: getting better at that. But I've learned that my weapon
- 9:32Speaker 6: of choice is prayer now. So when it happens ugly
- 9:37Speaker 6: for me, I pray about it. When it gets tight
- 9:40Speaker 6: and dismal for me, I pray about it. And the
- 9:43Speaker 6: thing about prayer, man, is prayer changes things.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Yes, it does.
- 9:48Speaker 6: Now read about it and try it. That's the deal, Okay,
- 9:54Speaker 6: Come on, Prayer is a wonderful weapon. Morning show, ladies
- 10:02Speaker 6: and gentlemen. It's another day, another gift, another blessing, another honor,
- 10:07Speaker 6: another privilege. However you need to look at it. But
- 10:10Speaker 6: look at it though. Man, Ain't God good? You made
- 10:13Speaker 6: it another day. That's crazy, Man, that is so amazing.
- 10:18Speaker 6: The older I get, the more amazing it is. Because
- 10:20Speaker 6: I've lost some people along the way. I'm talking about
- 10:23Speaker 6: some people that was dear to me. I lost, man,
- 10:25Speaker 6: My two best friends is gone.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Wan d.
- 10:28Speaker 6: Hull, Gregory Calhoun. Man lost two of my best friends. Man,
- 10:35Speaker 6: But through God's grace and mercy, I'm still here carrying on.
- 10:38Speaker 6: Talk to them boys every now and then, holl I
- 10:40Speaker 6: hope they're doing well. They probably loving a little bit
- 10:43Speaker 6: more enjoyable time than I am where they are. But
- 10:46Speaker 6: it's all good, Man, We still here. God is in
- 10:48Speaker 6: the blessing business. I woke up this morning. See what
- 10:51Speaker 6: else He had for me. I'm looking forward to a
- 10:53Speaker 6: great day. Even if I have some challenges.
- 10:56Speaker 1: I also know that this.
- 10:57Speaker 6: Too shall pass and I will be right back on track.
- 11:00Speaker 6: I've given God full of thought and control over my
- 11:03Speaker 6: being in existence. I've allowed him to control my destiny
- 11:07Speaker 6: without worry. I have lowered my blood pressure. I'm off
- 11:11Speaker 6: blood pressure medication. I am totally totally letting God drive
- 11:16Speaker 6: and direct and take the wheel. And it has released
- 11:19Speaker 6: so much in me. I thank God for that. Ladies
- 11:22Speaker 6: and gentlemen, Steve Harvey Morning Show, Shirley Strawberry calling for
- 11:25Speaker 6: real Mississippi, Monica Junior and the Legend of Nephew Tommy Junior.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Where are you're back? Yeah, what's on your mind?
- 11:33Speaker 8: Let's talk about this, man, because this was a situation
- 11:35Speaker 8: I came up with. They were talking to me about it,
- 11:38Speaker 8: so I asked you about it. About dimming your light?
- 11:40Speaker 8: Do you ever dim your light in situations? Have you
- 11:43Speaker 8: had a dinner to make somebody else feel a better?
- 11:45Speaker 1: Well, I've done it before. I have dimmed it, and
- 11:49Speaker 1: sometimes it's okay.
- 11:51Speaker 6: You should never dim your Christian light, or your Godly light,
- 11:55Speaker 6: or your spiritual light.
- 11:56Speaker 1: You should never dim that.
- 11:58Speaker 6: But you know, I've had to turn that starbub down
- 12:02Speaker 6: some you know, I had to you know sometimes, man,
- 12:05Speaker 6: you know, to fit in, you got to get in,
- 12:08Speaker 6: so you got to kind of, you know, go along
- 12:11Speaker 6: with some of it, you know, as long as it
- 12:13Speaker 6: don't cost.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Me anything or nothing like that, I do it.
- 12:17Speaker 6: You know. I set up and have a regular, real,
- 12:19Speaker 6: real regular conversation with people that I wouldn't normally have
- 12:23Speaker 6: because I don't really care about a lot of stuff.
- 12:26Speaker 1: But I do it, you know.
- 12:27Speaker 6: You know, my partners was engaged in this thirty long call,
- 12:31Speaker 6: thirty minute long conversation about the dollar store. And after
- 12:36Speaker 6: listening to thirty minutes, and I informed I had never
- 12:38Speaker 6: been in the dollar store. And I got cussed out
- 12:41Speaker 6: for that bushy who you thank you all dollar store, but.
- 12:46Speaker 1: I really had never been in one.
- 12:48Speaker 6: And so, you know, then I started acting concerned about
- 12:53Speaker 6: what was in the dollar store, knowing good and well
- 12:55Speaker 6: I didn't, you know, so I had to turn that
- 12:57Speaker 6: light down.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Something I had to.
- 12:59Speaker 6: I had to be amazed that what you could get
- 13:00Speaker 6: for a dollar quarter, because they upset now because dollar
- 13:04Speaker 6: store is not a dollar anymore, they went up twenty
- 13:06Speaker 6: five cents that had obviously thrown they ass into something
- 13:10Speaker 6: which I didn't understand, the quarter movement being that big
- 13:13Speaker 6: a difference, but to them it was quite So I
- 13:15Speaker 6: had to act concerned about the twenty five cent raise
- 13:20Speaker 6: and so not knowing that I didn't care at all
- 13:24Speaker 6: about it. So I dimed my life and acted like
- 13:26Speaker 6: I was concerned about the new dollar twenty five ruler.
- 13:30Speaker 7: So have dimned the like, Yeah, okay, have some church complaints.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Dollar dollar twenty five here?
- 13:38Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, church complaint.
- 13:39Speaker 1: You can't get that we're given the wrong store because
- 13:42Speaker 1: they don't have to.
- 13:45Speaker 9: You're listening hard morning show.
- 13:49Speaker 10: But it's time now for church complaints with Reverend Motown
- 13:52Speaker 10: and Deacon death Jam.
- 13:54Speaker 1: There we go, let me.
- 13:58Speaker 6: Let me clear month though. Hell yeah, uh we foregather
- 14:10Speaker 6: today in this most uh aussterious week stereo, I've decided
- 14:22Speaker 6: to change the way I go about the ministry in
- 14:27Speaker 6: honor my dear friend Kirk Franklin. I've noticed his dance
- 14:30Speaker 6: moves on stage now are different. Until I've alloted to
- 14:37Speaker 6: deliver the word different. I'm going to use more uh
- 14:44Speaker 6: hip hop phraseology to try to reach the young people.
- 14:50Speaker 6: So instead of me saying, uh, go ahead on, Deacon,
- 14:56Speaker 6: I'm gonna say it, bring it, come on with it, don't.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Start, get it, get it, get it, get it the
- 15:08Speaker 1: young people there. Yeah, well we got a situation.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Brother Vincent and Sister Kiana went to get married at
- 15:17Speaker 3: the courthouse this past week. He had no idea. He
- 15:24Speaker 3: had warrants for his arrest. Needless to say, he's in
- 15:28Speaker 3: jail and the marriage didn't happen. He's asking the church
- 15:32Speaker 3: to bail him out ten thousand dollars.
- 15:34Speaker 1: That's when you passed. If you want to go get him,
- 15:36Speaker 1: it's brother Bencent.
- 15:38Speaker 6: But when the bill going to be one thousand dollars
- 15:41Speaker 6: or is to bill ten thousand dollars because it's one
- 15:45Speaker 6: hundred thousand dollar bill.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Question on Oh, you know a.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Lot about the judicials. That's that's like too much information
- 15:54Speaker 3: that past. All I heard is that they needed ten
- 15:57Speaker 3: thousand dollars and they asking the church that we can
- 15:59Speaker 3: give it to him.
- 15:59Speaker 6: That's that's bail is ten thousand. Then we have to
- 16:03Speaker 6: put up a thousand. We can consider getting him. If
- 16:07Speaker 6: bailed one hundred thousand and he needs ten thousand, he's
- 16:12Speaker 6: gonna miss the wedding and several other things. If it's
- 16:18Speaker 6: ten thousands, I will tell you right now it's Thanksgiving
- 16:22Speaker 6: is not looking well?
- 16:23Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, I will definitely look at that.
- 16:28Speaker 6: I don't know what's one it is, but we may
- 16:30Speaker 6: could at ten thousand get him out for Martin Luther
- 16:33Speaker 6: King Holiday.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Oh well, what about Thanksgiving and Christmas?
- 16:37Speaker 6: Well Thanksgiving ten that think, Thank God, that ain't gonna
- 16:40Speaker 6: make it cold. You had all this shopping we got.
- 16:42Speaker 5: To do.
- 16:43Speaker 7: So black Fridays, the whole a Black Friday.
- 16:47Speaker 1: He no good, Well, he can't get no Black Friday morning.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Come on.
- 16:53Speaker 6: Now, I'm expected to get my third flat screen TV
- 16:57Speaker 6: out of Walmart this year because they're gonna have one
- 16:59Speaker 6: for fourteen dollars.
- 17:00Speaker 1: I'm sure.
- 17:03Speaker 3: All right.
- 17:03Speaker 1: We got another issue.
- 17:04Speaker 3: The ladies with newborn babies are afraid to buy baby
- 17:09Speaker 3: or for they kids.
- 17:10Speaker 1: They don't know what to do. We got several.
- 17:12Speaker 3: Dry babies in the congregation right now. They need only
- 17:16Speaker 3: but everyone is just afraid of, you know, to purchase.
- 17:19Speaker 3: What should they do right now?
- 17:21Speaker 1: They don't. They just scared to get go in there
- 17:23Speaker 1: and get baby off.
- 17:25Speaker 6: Well I would wait until the evidence was released and
- 17:30Speaker 6: then there'll be lots of it available for the general
- 17:34Speaker 6: public mass consumption.
- 17:36Speaker 1: I'm assuming that's the baby or you referring to. You know,
- 17:40Speaker 1: we don't do that at our church. We don't. We
- 17:42Speaker 1: don't talk about these types.
- 17:44Speaker 9: Amen.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Again, of course you know it ain't it ain't right,
- 17:50Speaker 1: you know, yeah.
- 17:56Speaker 3: Okay, this next issue is probably because of you, O.
- 18:00Speaker 3: Will X strippers are very confused. You know, they are
- 18:03Speaker 3: not trippers anymore. Oh, they are good women here in
- 18:05Speaker 3: the church. But you know we have six X strippers
- 18:10Speaker 3: in the congregation. When you told the congregation you wanted
- 18:14Speaker 3: to see everybody at.
- 18:15Speaker 1: The poles, they got confused.
- 18:18Speaker 3: And so now these six are back at Magic City
- 18:23Speaker 3: for the last two weeks tworking. I don't know what
- 18:26Speaker 3: we need to do and try to get them back
- 18:27Speaker 3: on course, I don't. I don't know what to say
- 18:30Speaker 3: at this point.
- 18:31Speaker 6: Will I guess I have to go down there, you know, reclean,
- 18:38Speaker 6: I'm gonna have to go down there myself because you
- 18:40Speaker 6: don't well, you know, I feel partly responsible for not
- 18:46Speaker 6: being Claire. So let me go down there and be Clail.
- 18:50Speaker 6: Or just while I'm down there, or Deacon, did you
- 18:55Speaker 6: say that the broccoli was good or the chicken wing?
- 18:59Speaker 3: It's the way, and I don't think you should be
- 19:01Speaker 3: by yourself, so I would go with you.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Amen, we can't have our passed down there.
- 19:10Speaker 6: But now, sir, you come on, go with me death
- 19:14Speaker 6: We'll we're going and bring them back out of there together.
- 19:19Speaker 1: How long is it gonna take? Well, depend on what
- 19:22Speaker 1: shift they working. You got to know the shifts.
- 19:27Speaker 6: You know, they're the eight to twelve and then yeah,
- 19:33Speaker 6: you know now or Dycynthia wasn't that good? She was daytime?
- 19:40Speaker 6: She was doing the lunch cry.
- 19:42Speaker 9: What's the idea, Dolcynthia?
- 19:48Speaker 1: Her stripper name is dark Chocolate. Yes, here's one more
- 19:54Speaker 1: issue we have.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Our pastor brother one day, has been offered five thousand
- 19:59Speaker 3: dollars to staying in the background of Donald Trump's next rally.
- 20:04Speaker 1: He says he really needs the money, but does not
- 20:08Speaker 1: know what to do.
- 20:09Speaker 3: He's asking for your advice, Pastor, but he's been off
- 20:12Speaker 3: of the five thousand and standing behind Trump.
- 20:15Speaker 6: Out for a little next rally in the next I'm
- 20:19Speaker 6: not gonna miss out on the five. If I was you,
- 20:21Speaker 6: I'd go down there and just wear amber rolls or masks.
- 20:29Speaker 6: Just get you a ball head or blood wig and
- 20:33Speaker 6: going down there and put some writing on your full
- 20:35Speaker 6: head and.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Get that five.
- 20:39Speaker 7: That's church complaints for today, Ladies and gentlemen.
- 20:42Speaker 9: Thank you.
- 20:42Speaker 10: Rever Motel and Deacon death Jim coming up next, asked
- 20:47Speaker 10: for the colo with our chief Love Officers you're listening
- 20:52Speaker 10: morning show coming up at the top of the hour
- 20:55Speaker 10: and entertainment news. Well, see if you've addressed this so
- 20:59Speaker 10: called beef you and the late great Bernie mac we
- 21:02Speaker 10: will talk about that about how you squash those rumors.
- 21:07Speaker 10: And early voting kicked off in Michigan in a major
- 21:10Speaker 10: way with former First Lady Michelle Obama addressing the voters.
- 21:13Speaker 10: That's all coming up at the top of the hour.
- 21:16Speaker 10: But right now it is time to ask the CLO
- 21:20Speaker 10: our Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey. This is from Misha
- 21:23Speaker 10: in Scranton. Mesha writes, my boyfriend was flirting with my
- 21:27Speaker 10: friend in my face, and he said, I'm making a
- 21:30Speaker 10: big deal over nothing. At the game, he told her
- 21:33Speaker 10: to take her long coat offs so guys could see
- 21:36Speaker 10: what she's working with. Was it inappropriate or was he
- 21:39Speaker 10: giving her good advice?
- 21:41Speaker 7: Wow, that's what Misha wanted.
- 21:43Speaker 6: Well, well, I mean, you sound like two things to me,
- 21:48Speaker 6: and it's great advice. It's just you can't give it.
- 21:53Speaker 6: That's the inappropriate You know, dog, It's a lot of
- 21:57Speaker 6: things you could tell a person to do, but coming
- 22:00Speaker 6: from you.
- 22:01Speaker 1: It ain't.
- 22:02Speaker 6: It ain't gonna it ain't gonna sound good, you know.
- 22:05Speaker 6: And sometimes dog, just because you think something don't mean
- 22:08Speaker 6: you should say something. You know how many times out
- 22:09Speaker 6: had to learn that?
- 22:10Speaker 7: Listen how many You don't do it very much on
- 22:13Speaker 7: the show. You hardly ever do it here?
- 22:17Speaker 5: Do what?
- 22:17Speaker 7: Ever? Not say what you're thinking?
- 22:21Speaker 1: Well, you know this radio show is different. Yeah, you know.
- 22:26Speaker 1: I look, part of what makes my brand work is
- 22:31Speaker 1: the authenticity factor.
- 22:32Speaker 6: Right. People respect the fact that at least I'm authentic.
- 22:36Speaker 6: I'm I'm I'm me myself and I you know most
- 22:39Speaker 6: of the time, you know, yeah, and and and and
- 22:42Speaker 6: be admittedly a little bit too much at.
- 22:45Speaker 7: Time, Yes, that's what I'm saying, just a little.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Bit too much a time.
- 22:49Speaker 6: But he shouldn't have said nothing about taking your long
- 22:51Speaker 6: clothes off so they see what you're working with. He
- 22:54Speaker 6: wasn't flirting with her, not in front of you. That
- 22:56Speaker 6: was just a suggestion. But but you kind of let
- 22:59Speaker 6: your quiet and talk. See, Yeah, because what he was
- 23:03Speaker 6: thinking was I don't know why she got that long coat.
- 23:05Speaker 6: You know, she needn't take that coat off. Well, let
- 23:08Speaker 6: me put it into a phrase that would help other people. Baby,
- 23:11Speaker 6: you need to take that long coat off so these
- 23:13Speaker 6: men out here can see what you're working with God
- 23:16Speaker 6: Dell in front of your girl, You stupid?
- 23:19Speaker 1: Huh?
- 23:20Speaker 5: Yeah, that was.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Crazy curl all right.
- 23:23Speaker 10: Moving on to Josiah in Tampa. Josiah, Right, So I
- 23:26Speaker 10: had a real fine girl online. She met me at
- 23:29Speaker 10: the club. We had a great time, and then we
- 23:31Speaker 10: had sex.
- 23:32Speaker 5: Later.
- 23:33Speaker 7: I had to pay for the sex. My boys clowned me.
- 23:36Speaker 10: Am I wrong because I'd rather pay for great sex
- 23:39Speaker 10: with a fine chick instead of having a girlfriend.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Wow, well, bruh, you don't have that. Ain't your girlfriend?
- 23:45Speaker 1: And that ain't just a fine chick. She has a job.
- 23:49Speaker 1: That's fine. That called something else.
- 23:51Speaker 6: And you that's how you met online and had a
- 23:54Speaker 6: great time at the club and had sex and had
- 23:56Speaker 6: to pay for it. You you didn't, You didn't see
- 23:58Speaker 6: what this was because that's how they do it now.
- 24:02Speaker 6: They use social media now really, yeah, man, they ain't
- 24:07Speaker 6: got to stand outside no more.
- 24:11Speaker 2: What is that call?
- 24:12Speaker 1: If you have to pay for what they call it?
- 24:15Speaker 6: That's well, Junior's just called prostitution. What the hell's lord,
- 24:21Speaker 6: what do they call it? It's the oldest profession dogs
- 24:26Speaker 6: paying for sex.
- 24:27Speaker 1: What they've been calling it? What they've been calling it?
- 24:30Speaker 5: Now?
- 24:30Speaker 1: What we call it. What we have had to call
- 24:33Speaker 1: it over the years, is called courty and dating. That's
- 24:37Speaker 1: what we call. Yeah, it's called courting and dating. You
- 24:42Speaker 1: don't pay for it eventually, Oh dog, it's not free.
- 24:47Speaker 1: We cut this out right here.
- 24:49Speaker 5: It is not.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Yeah, try to get to pay, Oh dog.
- 24:56Speaker 6: It come in terms of gas money, you no rent, rent,
- 25:02Speaker 6: you know, to school money for the kids, what fine.
- 25:06Speaker 1: School supplies all.
- 25:08Speaker 6: This is the way you pay for it, you know,
- 25:11Speaker 6: getting they had done, you know, helping with their bills,
- 25:15Speaker 6: you know, wineing, dining.
- 25:18Speaker 1: You indirectly have been participating in this for years.
- 25:23Speaker 6: You just didn't call it that because because because like
- 25:26Speaker 6: a decent woman, don't don't ever say you God to
- 25:28Speaker 6: give me this if you want that.
- 25:30Speaker 1: We just know that's what it is.
- 25:32Speaker 9: Moving on to.
- 25:37Speaker 10: In Montgomery, Donna says, when I hug Pastor after church,
- 25:43Speaker 10: he likes to squeeze the sharman. He stopped doing it,
- 25:46Speaker 10: and I can barely get a hug now. So I
- 25:48Speaker 10: asked him what's wrong. He said, he's tired of me
- 25:51Speaker 10: stringing him along along. He's married.
- 25:54Speaker 7: How can he say that to me?
- 25:56Speaker 6: Because he did? What you mean, how can you say
- 25:59Speaker 6: that to me? You know what's going on, witnute little girl.
- 26:03Speaker 6: First of all, when you hug the pastor he squeezes
- 26:07Speaker 6: the sharmi. Now you can barely get a hug. Now
- 26:10Speaker 6: you want to know what's wrong cause you was looking
- 26:12Speaker 6: forward to the shaman squeeze because you.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Know what's up?
- 26:16Speaker 6: Now he done told you tired of you stringing him along.
- 26:20Speaker 6: Here he threw it the shaman squeeze you you didn't
- 26:22Speaker 6: get it. He don't squeeze everybody sharmi. So now now
- 26:27Speaker 6: you you now you know what. Stop playing like you
- 26:30Speaker 6: didn't know.
- 26:30Speaker 1: You grown if every time you hugged that man, that's
- 26:35Speaker 1: what you get.
- 26:37Speaker 6: If you don't like what you get, then you quit
- 26:39Speaker 6: hugging the man. See you ain't got to stand in
- 26:41Speaker 6: the hug the past the line. But once you standing there,
- 26:45Speaker 6: he assuming, Oh you back again?
- 26:46Speaker 1: Huh? I did it last time? Let me see what's up.
- 26:49Speaker 1: He's a human being, all right. So now you know
- 26:53Speaker 1: he's married. How can he say that?
- 26:54Speaker 5: He said, nor?
- 26:55Speaker 1: You mean, how can he say it.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Just like he did?
- 26:58Speaker 7: Married from Laurels? Where is this must be the jackpoint?
- 27:05Speaker 7: Did he jack pot joint of Jerusalem?
- 27:09Speaker 1: We don't do that at the JP, Joe, You're gonna
- 27:13Speaker 1: stop that.
- 27:16Speaker 7: This last one. Steve is from Amber and Little Rock.
- 27:19Speaker 10: Amber writes, my coworker dated a guy that is interested
- 27:23Speaker 10: in me, so I told her that I was going
- 27:25Speaker 10: out with him. He canceled our date when he found
- 27:29Speaker 10: out that I told her. Does that mean he's still
- 27:32Speaker 10: messing around with her? Or was he mad that I
- 27:35Speaker 10: told his business?
- 27:37Speaker 6: Well, first of all, he don't want no mess and
- 27:42Speaker 6: you already really to start something, so he going wait
- 27:44Speaker 6: and hold up? So what else you're gonna tell? No,
- 27:47Speaker 6: I'm gonna skip on this. I'm gonna pass on this,
- 27:51Speaker 6: you know.
- 27:51Speaker 7: So is he still messing with the other girl?
- 27:54Speaker 3: No?
- 27:54Speaker 1: What what I have to do with it?
- 27:57Speaker 6: Whether he messing with it or not, he not finna
- 27:59Speaker 6: mess with you because obviously he the if he is
- 28:02Speaker 6: still messing with her now he found out, y'all cool
- 28:05Speaker 6: now he out, So hats off to him. Great move, brother,
- 28:10Speaker 6: Smart distance yourself, but also understand where you stand.
- 28:16Speaker 1: You ain't worth the risk. So let's understand that too.
- 28:19Speaker 7: Now, man, this is all going down at work too.
- 28:24Speaker 6: You know, let's understand that you are not worth the risk.
- 28:27Speaker 6: He not fin to risk this for you, So well,
- 28:29Speaker 6: you was just fit to be a little you know,
- 28:32Speaker 6: corn salad cold slow.
- 28:38Speaker 1: Yeah, you was. You was just fitting to be that.
- 28:41Speaker 6: You cut out everything for the main You ever notice
- 28:43Speaker 6: when your appetizer come you know, as soon as the
- 28:47Speaker 6: main plate hit your table, you really kind of threw
- 28:49Speaker 6: it the appetizer.
- 28:52Speaker 11: Ye.
- 28:54Speaker 6: Yeah, that's how it works, ladies. All right, when the
- 28:58Speaker 6: main course come up, we don't want to appetize it.
- 29:01Speaker 7: All right, thank you, Clo.
- 29:02Speaker 10: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 29:04Speaker 10: some entertainment news for you right after.
- 29:07Speaker 7: It is usual you're listening.
- 29:11Speaker 9: Morning show.
- 29:14Speaker 10: Sorry so, Steve, you've been trending, you know, but nothing
- 29:17Speaker 10: too serious, nothing too bad right now. It's stemmed from
- 29:20Speaker 10: your appearance on the Black Comedy in America docu series
- 29:24Speaker 10: when you sat down with your fellow Kings of Comedy
- 29:27Speaker 10: Dale Hugley and Cedric the Entertainer, and you addressed rumors
- 29:31Speaker 10: that you were beefing with the late Great Bernie Max. Bernie,
- 29:35Speaker 10: of course, died sixteen years ago from sarkadosis. When talking
- 29:40Speaker 10: about the so called beef, I love love love that
- 29:43Speaker 10: you said Bernie was a man's man from the South
- 29:46Speaker 10: Side of Chicago, So there was no way to mistreat him.
- 29:50Speaker 10: So I got to ask, you, do you feel like
- 29:52Speaker 10: it was time to set the record straight on this
- 29:55Speaker 10: subject once overall?
- 29:57Speaker 6: Well, I mean, you know, look over the years, you know,
- 30:00Speaker 6: it's a lot of stuff being said about me falsely,
- 30:03Speaker 6: and a lot of stuff about me and Bernie's relationship
- 30:06Speaker 6: and me and the Kings.
- 30:07Speaker 1: We've all talked about it, and we go, damn dog,
- 30:10Speaker 1: where they getting this stuff from? Man?
- 30:11Speaker 6: You know, only beef we ever had between us was
- 30:15Speaker 6: let's do your time. That was all we ever talked about.
- 30:18Speaker 6: The Kings was a well oiled machine. And I just
- 30:22Speaker 6: felt like, you know, and it's unfair in his brother's
- 30:25Speaker 6: demise that he's not here and people constantly talking about that,
- 30:29Speaker 6: and it don't make no sense to me. And so
- 30:32Speaker 6: I just felt like, you know, we were talking there,
- 30:34Speaker 6: and Chris Spencer did a great job with the special
- 30:37Speaker 6: and just some of his questions, and so it was
- 30:39Speaker 6: just just the time I was sitting there with the
- 30:41Speaker 6: two Kings. See, when you sitting there with the other dudes,
- 30:45Speaker 6: it's kind of hard to lae when everybody right there.
- 30:48Speaker 7: They were there, Yeah, they for the whole time.
- 30:51Speaker 1: So I just felt like then was a good time,
- 30:54Speaker 1: you know, to clear the air.
- 30:55Speaker 6: Here's something I've never told anybody, but the day Bernie
- 30:59Speaker 6: passed was the early two thirty in the morning, the
- 31:03Speaker 6: morning of the Bud Billickin Parade. I was in Chicago
- 31:09Speaker 6: to do the Bud Billicin Parade as their host. That
- 31:14Speaker 6: afternoon I was going to the hospital to see Bernie.
- 31:18Speaker 6: Al Sharpton came down to have breakfast at the Peninsula
- 31:22Speaker 6: Hotel and said, hey, man, what's going on. I said,
- 31:25Speaker 6: I'm going to do the bud Billikin and then afterwards
- 31:28Speaker 6: I'm going to the hospital to visit Bernie. He said,
- 31:31Speaker 6: you ain't heard. He said, Bernie passed this morning, two
- 31:35Speaker 6: thirty eight. That's how I found out.
- 31:38Speaker 10: Wow.
- 31:39Speaker 6: Then I had to call say it and he said,
- 31:42Speaker 6: called the air, and that's how it happened. So, you know, man,
- 31:47Speaker 6: for people, tonot know all of it. Yeah, it's just
- 31:50Speaker 6: how people run with stuff, you know, and they want
- 31:53Speaker 6: to and they want to get clicks likes, and they
- 31:55Speaker 6: just want to keep mess going. I don't even know,
- 31:57Speaker 6: you know, matter, I don't know what's happened to us
- 31:59Speaker 6: as a coach, but we we used to cheer for
- 32:02Speaker 6: each other. Oh yeah, I actually remember when black people
- 32:06Speaker 6: cheered for one another, that we were excited to see
- 32:10Speaker 6: a couple married and stay married and be happy for
- 32:13Speaker 6: their family.
- 32:14Speaker 1: I remember that rooting for Yes.
- 32:17Speaker 6: Something has happened now, man, in this very sick culture
- 32:21Speaker 6: that we're in, where we're not cheering for each other anymore,
- 32:24Speaker 6: we always try to find a way to tear one
- 32:27Speaker 6: another down. And I just I'm just not going to
- 32:30Speaker 6: be a part of that.
- 32:30Speaker 1: Man.
- 32:31Speaker 6: I'm just not going to join in with that, because
- 32:34Speaker 6: I mean, look, man, you know it serves you no good.
- 32:39Speaker 1: Like this one. I don't want to get into that.
- 32:41Speaker 6: But there's one guy that then set up and took
- 32:45Speaker 6: a bunch of my words from other interviews and put
- 32:48Speaker 6: them together.
- 32:49Speaker 1: Like like he's interviewing me on.
- 32:51Speaker 6: His podcast, and he's taking clips of the morning show
- 32:55Speaker 6: and interviews, Like he's asking me questions. He's interjected the
- 32:59Speaker 6: answer that he wanted to fifty quick. And first of all,
- 33:02Speaker 6: why would I be on his podcast this? Nobody asked, dude,
- 33:07Speaker 6: Because if I want to say something, look, look look.
- 33:10Speaker 5: What I have.
- 33:11Speaker 7: I have a real platform platform.
- 33:13Speaker 1: Yeah, So anything I really want to say, I have
- 33:16Speaker 1: an opportunity to say it.
- 33:17Speaker 6: For this dude, to spend all that time put these
- 33:20Speaker 6: words together, I said in different interviews, like he was
- 33:23Speaker 6: interviewing me, and it's all destructive towards my family.
- 33:27Speaker 1: See now, when I find his ass, then okay, what
- 33:31Speaker 1: could I just ask you this life?
- 33:34Speaker 8: Since when did you start having beats and show up
- 33:36Speaker 8: and speaking at people's funerals?
- 33:38Speaker 1: When did you start doing it? I don't know. And
- 33:41Speaker 1: and Bernie's wife had us there.
- 33:44Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, if it was so bad, you gotta be
- 33:47Speaker 8: you speaking at the funeral, bro, I'll.
- 33:49Speaker 1: Tell you something else.
- 33:52Speaker 6: Bernie's wife, Rolanda and I they are in the process
- 33:55Speaker 6: of doing a documentary on Bernie's life. I'm the coed
- 34:03Speaker 6: co executive producer of it, as requested by Orlandon Wowee.
- 34:10Speaker 6: People people be talking, man, and they don't even know
- 34:16Speaker 6: the real deal. They just be talking, man, and it's
- 34:19Speaker 6: sad and I hate it.
- 34:21Speaker 1: And you know, I try.
- 34:22Speaker 6: I try to never address it because Bernie's gone, you
- 34:24Speaker 6: know what I mean, just leave it alone.
- 34:26Speaker 1: But people keep on Yeah.
- 34:28Speaker 6: And it's just like I said, it's just sad, man,
- 34:30Speaker 6: that we don't cheer for each other the way we should,
- 34:32Speaker 6: you know. Like I'm like, I'm cheering for Mike ELPs.
- 34:35Speaker 6: I'm cheering for Kevin Hart. I'm cheering for Dave Chappelle.
- 34:38Speaker 6: I cheer for Chris Rock, I'm cheering for Earthquake. I
- 34:41Speaker 6: think one of the funniest cats out there right now, Man,
- 34:44Speaker 6: is that Damn Beyon Cole. Dion Cole's comedy Man is
- 34:49Speaker 6: so spot on, you know. I mean, dog, I cheer
- 34:53Speaker 6: for these cats. So man, that's that's that's the lane.
- 34:56Speaker 6: I mean, that's the lane. I'm gonna stay in. I'm
- 34:59Speaker 6: not gonna be up in here. And if you see
- 35:01Speaker 6: somebody who is not cheering for their brother, you gotta
- 35:04Speaker 6: question that person. Yeah, you gotta go, man, what is
- 35:08Speaker 6: the motivation behind that? Because if you ain't cheering it
- 35:10Speaker 6: for him, what you hating on him for? Could it
- 35:12Speaker 6: be because you are jealous and envious of the position
- 35:16Speaker 6: they in?
- 35:17Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 35:17Speaker 1: And I'm just not that way, man.
- 35:19Speaker 10: I'm just glad you got a chance to finally put
- 35:21Speaker 10: it to rest, hopefully and address it.
- 35:23Speaker 1: But I tell you what was.
- 35:24Speaker 6: Great Bernie when it came to the Kings with Bernie
- 35:27Speaker 6: was rough man. Bernie was rough boy.
- 35:30Speaker 1: On that stage.
- 35:30Speaker 6: We all pulled up a chair to watch Bernie mac
- 35:34Speaker 6: because we said what he gonna say tonight?
- 35:37Speaker 1: That boy right there was never the same twice.
- 35:40Speaker 7: Yeah again, thank you for addressing that, Steve.
- 35:42Speaker 10: Now coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, singer
- 35:45Speaker 10: Loomis has apologized for butchering the national anthem and then cursing.
- 35:50Speaker 7: We'll let you hear it. Coming up next right after.
- 35:52Speaker 9: This you're listening morning show.
- 35:57Speaker 10: Well, last week got a third party presidential debate that
- 36:00Speaker 10: was live on c SPAN. Indie singer Loomis belted out
- 36:04Speaker 10: her rendition of the national anthem and her voice was cracking,
- 36:08Speaker 10: so she stopped singing and just started cursing.
- 36:12Speaker 7: Take a listen through the pet.
- 36:18Speaker 10: For the.
- 36:20Speaker 7: We're so good, Lee Strange.
- 36:30Speaker 1: Get did I go back?
- 36:35Speaker 5: And I go back?
- 36:36Speaker 9: Please?
- 36:41Speaker 5: And I got some.
- 36:43Speaker 6: Nervous That's cool, she said, still be Carlos, still better

- 54:09Speaker 3: Buckle up, Hold on time here, heytes the morning buck something.
- 54:13Speaker 5: Hold on time.
- 54:14Speaker 1: We got a boy here it is Strawberry letter.
- 54:16Speaker 7: Love it all right, nephew, Thank you? Subject your daydream
- 54:20Speaker 7: and you blacked out.
- 54:21Speaker 1: I'm looking at TV.
- 54:23Speaker 10: Subject, Why would my son joke like that? Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 54:28Speaker 10: I'm thirty seven and married. My husband and I have
- 54:31Speaker 10: an eight year old son and a five year old daughter.
- 54:34Speaker 10: Our children are with me twenty four to seven, and
- 54:37Speaker 10: it makes my husband jealous. The children have my bubbly
- 54:40Speaker 10: personality and we do tiktoks and other fun videos, and
- 54:44Speaker 10: my husband hates that my son wants to be an entertainer.
- 54:47Speaker 10: So he took an acting class over the summer and
- 54:50Speaker 10: he's been acting out since then. He's become the class
- 54:53Speaker 10: clown and my husband had to sign a note from
- 54:56Speaker 10: the school because he was being a jokester in class.
- 55:00Speaker 10: He has also been showing out at home too. He
- 55:03Speaker 10: insulted his aunt after she got a bad haircut. My
- 55:07Speaker 10: husband had to pop him hard on his backside to
- 55:10Speaker 10: stop him from laughing about it. Lately, he has been
- 55:15Speaker 10: joking about places that I take him and his sister
- 55:18Speaker 10: and things I buy them.
- 55:19Speaker 7: For example, his dad asked where he had been.
- 55:22Speaker 10: He told his dad that we went grocery shopping and
- 55:26Speaker 10: to visit his mom's boyfriend. Another time, my husband asked
- 55:30Speaker 10: our son about a pair of shoes he got, and
- 55:32Speaker 10: my son said that his mom's boyfriend help him pick
- 55:35Speaker 10: them out. Same thing with the new jersey that I
- 55:38Speaker 10: ordered for him. After my husband said he didn't need it,
- 55:41Speaker 10: he told my husband that his mom's boyfriend got it
- 55:44Speaker 10: for him since he wouldn't buy it. My husband doesn't
- 55:47Speaker 10: get mad at her son. He keeps getting mad at me,
- 55:50Speaker 10: like I would really take our children around another man.
- 55:53Speaker 10: He has even asked our five year old daughter if
- 55:56Speaker 10: she's ever met a man when she's with mommy. Of course,
- 55:59Speaker 10: the child said yes. My husband knows our son is
- 56:03Speaker 10: out of control and needs discipline, but he's more focused
- 56:07Speaker 10: on what I'm doing. Why would my son joke like that? Okay,
- 56:12Speaker 10: and your son is only eight years old, Wow, I
- 56:16Speaker 10: guess you've got a little comedian on your hands. But
- 56:19Speaker 10: no eight year old really talks like that. He's had
- 56:22Speaker 10: to have heard some grown person say those things before,
- 56:25Speaker 10: and he's really trying to get a laugh out of
- 56:27Speaker 10: you and your husband. He loves the attention he gets
- 56:30Speaker 10: at school from saying these crazy things too, and he
- 56:33Speaker 10: loves the attention he gets from making people laugh period,
- 56:36Speaker 10: except for you and your husband aren't laughing. You all
- 56:40Speaker 10: need to talk to him about his material. He's still
- 56:43Speaker 10: only eight years old, and maybe he doesn't quite get
- 56:46Speaker 10: that saying mom's boyfriend did this or did that is
- 56:49Speaker 10: not cool and it's causing problems with you and his dad.
- 56:53Speaker 10: This letter is making me think of some of the
- 56:56Speaker 10: crazy stories that you've told us, Steve, about when you
- 56:58Speaker 10: were a kid and you were the class clown and
- 57:01Speaker 10: all that you got it in trouble too.
- 57:04Speaker 12: No, but you never did that.
- 57:05Speaker 9: I know.
- 57:05Speaker 7: But you told us some crazy stories.
- 57:07Speaker 2: But never this.
- 57:10Speaker 7: Anyway, you did all right, You know you were a
- 57:13Speaker 7: funny kid growing up.
- 57:14Speaker 10: In all of that, these parents need to check their
- 57:17Speaker 10: son for real, because he needs some guidance.
- 57:20Speaker 6: Steve, Why would my son joke like that? Because you're
- 57:27Speaker 6: all leddy. That's really where we're at. He ate I
- 57:30Speaker 6: don't give it damn what he want to be when
- 57:31Speaker 6: he grew up. We're gonna wait till we grow up
- 57:33Speaker 6: to be it. That's what we're gonna do. You thirty seven,
- 57:37Speaker 6: your husband. I got an eight year old boy and
- 57:40Speaker 6: a five year old girl. The children are with you
- 57:43Speaker 6: twenty four to seven, and it makes my husband jealous.
- 57:48Speaker 6: The children have your bubbly personality. They making TikTok videos
- 57:51Speaker 6: they go to some of So. Your son said he
- 57:53Speaker 6: wanted to be actors. So they put him in an
- 57:54Speaker 6: acting class over the summer, and he's been acting out
- 57:59Speaker 6: every sin then. He has become the class clown. Your
- 58:05Speaker 6: husband had to sign a note from the school because
- 58:07Speaker 6: he's being a jokest in class. He's also been showing
- 58:11Speaker 6: out at home. He's insulted his aunt after she got
- 58:14Speaker 6: a bad haircut. My husband had to pop him hard
- 58:18Speaker 6: on his backside to stop him from laughing out loud
- 58:21Speaker 6: about it.
- 58:22Speaker 1: That's happened to me? What that's happened to me?
- 58:26Speaker 6: What? We was coming from church one day and my
- 58:30Speaker 6: aunt Agnes tripped up the steps and fell on her
- 58:34Speaker 6: breast and she was heavy breasted. In the fall up
- 58:37Speaker 6: the steps tore her bra off, her off her chest,
- 58:42Speaker 6: and when she stood up she only had one side
- 58:45Speaker 6: of her was in the braw and the other half
- 58:47Speaker 6: was out. Tell you, so you talk about Holly. I
- 58:53Speaker 6: couldn't breathe. I was ten and I was stretched out
- 58:59Speaker 6: in the grass. I'm talking about I'm talking about man.
- 59:05Speaker 1: He was nothing.
- 59:06Speaker 6: Nothing nobody can say to me. Because I saw my
- 59:09Speaker 6: brother laughing. He was eleven years older than me. He
- 59:12Speaker 6: was on the porch and he saw that he laughed.
- 59:15Speaker 1: So I was gone.
- 59:20Speaker 6: Now my daddy had to come downstairs and help her out.
- 59:22Speaker 6: My mama, Lord Jesus, Agnes, have you hurt yourself?
- 59:27Speaker 1: I'm in the grass. I can't.
- 59:29Speaker 6: I'm vomiting at this point. Needless to say, I got
- 59:37Speaker 6: ass whipping for that because she actually hurt herself, which
- 59:44Speaker 6: actually made it even funnier than me. You know what, Well,
- 59:48Speaker 6: I've never liked my aunt Agnes, and she's never cared
- 59:51Speaker 6: for me. So where we're at with this right here?
- 59:56Speaker 5: Uh? Then?
- 59:57Speaker 6: He he's also been joking about places take him and
- 1:00:00Speaker 6: his system. For example, his dad's asked what we had been.
- 1:00:04Speaker 6: He told his dad we went grocery shopping and to
- 1:00:06Speaker 6: visit his mama's boyfriend. Let me tell you something, I
- 1:00:12Speaker 6: said that to my daddy. None of the rest of
- 1:00:16Speaker 6: this letter is even possible, okay, because all the rest
- 1:00:20Speaker 6: of this letter is about the crime evidenced, the story,
- 1:00:25Speaker 6: the yelling tape, the chalk marks.
- 1:00:28Speaker 10: Steve, we'll have part two of your response coming up
- 1:00:32Speaker 10: at twenty three minutes after the our Today's Strawberry letter
- 1:00:35Speaker 10: subject why would my son joke like that?
- 1:00:37Speaker 7: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening.
- 1:00:42Speaker 9: Morning show, All right, Come.
- 1:00:43Speaker 10: On, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is,
- 1:00:46Speaker 10: why would my son.
- 1:00:48Speaker 7: Joke like that?
- 1:00:49Speaker 6: Well, like I said, because y' all let him. He's
- 1:00:51Speaker 6: eight years old and he got a five year old sister.
- 1:00:54Speaker 6: Y'all to send him to an acting class. Now he's
- 1:00:56Speaker 6: act out, he's become the class clown and the jokes.
- 1:01:00Speaker 6: I was never the class clown. I just did little stuff,
- 1:01:04Speaker 6: you know, when teacher wasn't listening. But I was never
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: the class clown, like jump up, look at me, look
- 1:01:08Speaker 6: at me.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: I was never that. I was never allowed to be.
- 1:01:10Speaker 6: But he got in trouble one time because his aunt
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: had a bad haircut, and he joked about it, and
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: he wouldn't stop laughing. His daddy had to poppym on
- 1:01:17Speaker 6: his behind real hard. That reminded me of the time
- 1:01:20Speaker 6: where he's coming from church and my aunt Agnes fell
- 1:01:23Speaker 6: up the steps outside and she was heavy chested woman,
- 1:01:28Speaker 6: and when she failed it told her brawl for chest
- 1:01:31Speaker 6: and only one of her was still in the broad
- 1:01:33Speaker 6: the other one had came out. That to me, the
- 1:01:37Speaker 6: visual was in. I was incredible. Was the greatest laughs
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: I've ever had. I was in the front lawn stretched out.
- 1:01:44Speaker 6: I mean, I couldn't breathe. Man, I had stomach cramps.
- 1:01:47Speaker 6: And that's the first time I had a stomach cramp
- 1:01:49Speaker 6: from laughing. So I was stretching out. Needless say, I
- 1:01:51Speaker 6: got my ass well for that. But that's what should
- 1:01:53Speaker 6: have happened to you.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: Boy.
- 1:01:54Speaker 6: But lately he been joking about places that take him
- 1:01:56Speaker 6: and assists said they went grocery shop at one time,
- 1:01:59Speaker 6: and then he told his daddy that while they was out,
- 1:02:02Speaker 6: they went grocery shopping and then went to visit day
- 1:02:04Speaker 6: Mama's boyfriend. Now, like I said, if I'd have told
- 1:02:09Speaker 6: my daddy that joke, this whole letter would have been different,
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: wouldn't have been no more words. It would have been
- 1:02:13Speaker 6: just about when the police came and how many bodies
- 1:02:17Speaker 6: was in the chalk lines. And then another time your
- 1:02:20Speaker 6: husband asked your son about a pair of shoes he got.
- 1:02:23Speaker 6: Your son said is mama's boyfriend helped him pick him out.
- 1:02:26Speaker 6: Then the same thing with a new jersey I ordered
- 1:02:28Speaker 6: for him after my husband said he didn't need it.
- 1:02:31Speaker 6: He told my husband, and my boyfriend got it for
- 1:02:34Speaker 6: him since he wouldn't buy it. Wait a minute, man,
- 1:02:37Speaker 6: The fact that this boy feels comfortable enough to say
- 1:02:41Speaker 6: this to his father is further evidence that there's no
- 1:02:44Speaker 6: consequences in this boy's life, so he running free to
- 1:02:48Speaker 6: say it do whatever he want to do. I had
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: fore warned people about this before, But if you have
- 1:02:53Speaker 6: a boy that you're raising that doesn't have discipline, he's
- 1:02:55Speaker 6: headed for two places prison on early grade, because the
- 1:02:59Speaker 6: people out here in these streets gonna teach him what
- 1:03:01Speaker 6: discipline is. So if you don't, they will. My husband
- 1:03:05Speaker 6: doesn't get mad at our son. He keeps getting mad
- 1:03:08Speaker 6: at me, like I would really take our children around
- 1:03:11Speaker 6: another man. He has even asked our five year old
- 1:03:14Speaker 6: daughter she's ever met a man when she was out
- 1:03:16Speaker 6: with mommy. Of course, the child said, yes, my husband
- 1:03:21Speaker 6: knows our son is out of control and needs discipline,
- 1:03:24Speaker 6: but he's more focused on what I am I doing.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: Why wouldn't my son joke like that? Number one?
- 1:03:29Speaker 6: Because y'all let it. First of all, it ain't a joke.
- 1:03:33Speaker 6: If it's not true, it's a lie. Do you know
- 1:03:35Speaker 6: what would happen to me if I lied to my
- 1:03:37Speaker 6: parents and they knew it, Doug, I wasn't.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: Allowed to lie to them.
- 1:03:42Speaker 6: You all are allowing this boy too much freedom just
- 1:03:46Speaker 6: because he want to be an actor. Now he a
- 1:03:48Speaker 6: little jokes up at the school now, if it's not now,
- 1:03:52Speaker 6: I don't know why he keeps coming up with this
- 1:03:54Speaker 6: man thing. Lady, I don't know if you know there's
- 1:03:58Speaker 6: a guy really somewhere couple of times he's seen, but
- 1:04:02Speaker 6: he keep bringing up this boyfriend. It's kind of hard
- 1:04:06Speaker 6: for me to imagine this boys imagining that, But that's.
- 1:04:08Speaker 5: Up to you.
- 1:04:09Speaker 6: I'm gonna let you work through that. That's your bis
- 1:04:11Speaker 6: is none of mine. But if he is completely making
- 1:04:15Speaker 6: this up, then it's time for you to start checking him.
- 1:04:19Speaker 6: Tell your daddy won't lie again, and see what happened
- 1:04:22Speaker 6: to you. There has to be consequences for bad behavior.
- 1:04:26Speaker 6: If you keep allowing bad behavior to exist in a child,
- 1:04:30Speaker 6: then you the one gonna be dealing with it the
- 1:04:32Speaker 6: rest of your life. And your husband, man, if he
- 1:04:36Speaker 6: don't check this boy, he's headed down the wrong path.
- 1:04:40Speaker 6: That's all I can tell you. But why is your
- 1:04:44Speaker 6: son joke like this? Because he's allowed to period. That's
- 1:04:48Speaker 6: all to it. And it's no more needs to be
- 1:04:50Speaker 6: said about this. When y'all gonna put y'all son in
- 1:04:54Speaker 6: order get him the line up now, I'm not gonna
- 1:04:56Speaker 6: tell you how I would do it, because that's considered
- 1:04:59Speaker 6: not legal anymore. But that's really what's wrong with our
- 1:05:02Speaker 6: world today. See, everybody got freedoms and you got like everything. Now,
- 1:05:06Speaker 6: child got all these freedoms.
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: No he don't.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: No, they don't. Y'all got so many freedoms.
- 1:05:10Speaker 6: Now, y'all letting the children make all their own decisions,
- 1:05:13Speaker 6: and they don't have a mental capacity to make a
- 1:05:15Speaker 6: lot of these decisions you putting on them.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: They just don't.
- 1:05:18Speaker 6: I got grandkids now, and I be listening to some
- 1:05:20Speaker 6: of the stuff they be saying I'm going this boy
- 1:05:23Speaker 6: is damn they're stupid, you know what I mean. It's
- 1:05:25Speaker 6: just damn there. Based on the last comment conversation we had.
- 1:05:30Speaker 6: I give you an example. My grandson goes to a
- 1:05:34Speaker 6: Halloween party the other day. His costume is this blow
- 1:05:38Speaker 6: up alien. But the blow up part it looks like
- 1:05:42Speaker 6: he's in the alien's arms, so it's his arms, but
- 1:05:46Speaker 6: it looked like the alien is holding him off the ground.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: The little blow up legs in front, but it's his
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: legs down the ground.
- 1:05:51Speaker 6: It's a great costume. I've never seen one that would
- 1:05:55Speaker 6: have been my favorite. He wants to sleep in it. Well, okay,
- 1:06:02Speaker 6: we can't sleep in this because it's blowed up. This
- 1:06:05Speaker 6: is not going to be a comfortable sleep But I
- 1:06:07Speaker 6: want to sleep in it, Papa, Okay, but you can't though,
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: So in the middle of the night, I hit his
- 1:06:12Speaker 6: noise in the room.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: I go in the room. He got to pump out.
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: He trying to pump it up so he can get
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: in it and sleep in it. Now after I told him,
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: you can't sleep in it. So I fixed it. So
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: now we now we can't blow the costume up no
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: more because I busted it.
- 1:06:27Speaker 7: You stick a pin in it.
- 1:06:29Speaker 6: Uh huh yeah, So now ain't no more blowing it
- 1:06:31Speaker 6: up because you don't know how to listen? Halloween over anyway?
- 1:06:33Speaker 10: So's Thursday even started yet?
- 1:06:41Speaker 6: Oh?
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: It ain't till Thursday, right the first? God, damn, I
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: got to buy no moon?
- 1:06:46Speaker 7: Yes, yes, yes, my bad?
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: Sorry about that dog and all right.

- 1:08:01Speaker 9: What's happening in Cleveland right now?
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: Up today? Is it a party going on? Is it
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: a parade? What's going on?
- 1:08:07Speaker 6: It's a lot of disbelief though. It's a lot of shock.
- 1:08:12Speaker 6: It's a lot of drunk people. It's some people that's
- 1:08:15Speaker 6: trying to get through this.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: Is anybody at work today? Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,

- 1:08:35Speaker 6: thank you, Lord.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: Let's get to it there.
- 1:08:36Speaker 5: Up.
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: Pippin had some good picks, though.

- 1:08:41Speaker 8: the Tights, and I tell you the Lions wasn't playing

- 1:08:46Speaker 1: Ain't ain't no game, Detroit. Let's go quickly.
- 1:08:49Speaker 8: Pippin also picked the Falcon over the Bucks. Thirty one
- 1:08:52Speaker 8: to twenty six.

- 1:08:55Speaker 2: Yeah yeah.
- 1:08:56Speaker 8: Pippin picked the Texans over the Coats twenty three to twenty.

- 1:09:13Speaker 8: Okay, here's go another one, the Commanders over the balls.
- 1:09:18Speaker 5: That was a game to the.
- 1:09:21Speaker 7: Fifteen.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: Pip picked the Broncos over the pamp didn't come today,
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: Bronco today.
- 1:09:27Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:09:27Speaker 8: You picked the Broncos over the Panthers twenty eight to fourteenth.
- 1:09:30Speaker 8: Pippy picked the Chiefs over the Raiders twenty seven to twenty.
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: Pipper picked all these things. Now here what Pippery messed
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: up at?
- 1:09:39Speaker 8: Pippin picked the Jets over the Patriot and they let
- 1:09:41Speaker 8: you down, Pippy. They lost to the Patriots twenty five
- 1:09:45Speaker 8: to twenty two.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: Pints. Yeah see, that's not just sheer hatred for Boston, Pipping.
- 1:09:52Speaker 8: You picked the Bike and said they would lose to
- 1:09:54Speaker 8: eas the Road where they lost to.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: The Rams thirty to twenty. Shut up line. But overall,
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: Pipper had a great week though you ain't missed.
- 1:10:01Speaker 7: Befolks, the Browns one.
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: Browns.
- 1:10:08Speaker 12: All right, come on, man, celebrate, Thank you Junior, Thank you.
- 1:10:19Speaker 7: Pempin.
- 1:10:19Speaker 10: Coming up at the top of the hour, A guy
- 1:10:21Speaker 10: needs some advice Steve after his friend hooks up with
- 1:10:24Speaker 10: another friend's wife.
- 1:10:25Speaker 7: Oh, this is messy. Right after this, you're.
- 1:10:28Speaker 10: Listening hard morning show, all right? See this one is
- 1:10:35Speaker 10: from Brian and Graham Prairie. Brian says, my wife and
- 1:10:38Speaker 10: I are close friends with two other couples. One of
- 1:10:42Speaker 10: the guys is messing with the other guy's wife. They
- 1:10:46Speaker 10: went away together for the weekend and called their spouses
- 1:10:49Speaker 10: and said they are filing for divorce.
- 1:10:52Speaker 7: So they can be together.
- 1:10:55Speaker 10: I am so disgusted that my friend would do this
- 1:10:58Speaker 10: to our other friend and my wife. My wife can't
- 1:11:02Speaker 10: believe what's happening. Should we distance ourselves from all the mess,
- 1:11:06Speaker 10: from all this mess?
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: Yeah, well I don't see. You can't.
- 1:11:11Speaker 6: There's nothing you can do. Who sides you're gonna take? See,
- 1:11:15Speaker 6: that's your problem. That's why you got to pull out.
- 1:11:18Speaker 5: Now.
- 1:11:19Speaker 6: You know, you could be a listening ear of one
- 1:11:21Speaker 6: if they call you, But you can't. You can't pick
- 1:11:25Speaker 6: sides in this dude went away with the other dude's
- 1:11:31Speaker 6: wife for the weekend, called him back and said, we
- 1:11:34Speaker 6: filing for the boy.
- 1:11:35Speaker 7: Together because they want to be together.
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: Oh man, that's crazy. That's straight crazy.
- 1:11:42Speaker 7: Yeah, is really crazy.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: Not a dude. He can't believe his boy would do
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: the other boy like that. That's crazy, man, can you
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: believe that? I tell you what though, Man what, I'm
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: punching my dude in the mouth soon as I see.
- 1:12:04Speaker 7: So you take a side.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: No, I mean.
- 1:12:08Speaker 6: The dude, the dude, the dude that's married to the
- 1:12:12Speaker 6: woman who went away with his friend for the weekend.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: And then exactly, yeah, I'm hitting him in the mouth
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: when I see.
- 1:12:21Speaker 6: Yeah, man, because I can't punch the woman but him,
- 1:12:23Speaker 6: I'm hitting him dead in his mouth because you know me, right.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: I got she did this too, I got this. But dog,
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: you know me though? And and this what you this
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: what you think you can do?
- 1:12:43Speaker 6: Wow? And and and I'm and I'm gonna let this
- 1:12:45Speaker 6: slide now. I'm I'm hitting you dead in your mouth
- 1:12:48Speaker 6: because you think I'm that big a punk that you
- 1:12:51Speaker 6: can punk me like that. I'm gonna get the divorce.
- 1:12:54Speaker 6: I don't want him that's for sure. Look, if you
- 1:12:58Speaker 6: mess around with somebody, I know, I'm I'm you can have.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: That gone over when you see him, Yeah, absolutely.
- 1:13:12Speaker 6: But I'm gonna get the divorce, but I'm gonna whoop
- 1:13:13Speaker 6: his ass though. Yeah, yeah, as soon as we see
- 1:13:19Speaker 6: each other, I don't want you. You can have him,
- 1:13:22Speaker 6: you can have her, but my man, when I see you, yeah, yeah,
- 1:13:30Speaker 6: that's all terrible. And the only advice I got for
- 1:13:34Speaker 6: the couple is just be a listening ear when they call.
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: But you can't take aside.
- 1:13:40Speaker 7: Mm hmm.
- 1:13:42Speaker 6: All it can be is how could you? How could they?
- 1:13:45Speaker 6: That's all you can do. Don't take aside. That's what
- 1:13:49Speaker 6: we don't know what to say. We we you know, now,
- 1:13:52Speaker 6: I know you're gonna say cliche stuff. We are just
- 1:13:54Speaker 6: as surprised as.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: You know you're not.
- 1:13:56Speaker 6: You know, it's not your wife's not your husband, So
- 1:13:59Speaker 6: don't say that. We just as surprised as you. Just say, hey,
- 1:14:02Speaker 6: we're shocked by this whole thing. We actually speech with you.
- 1:14:05Speaker 6: We don't know what to make of it. We had
- 1:14:07Speaker 6: no idea anything was happening. We you know, distance yourself
- 1:14:11Speaker 6: from that, you stay, you didn't have did you know
- 1:14:13Speaker 6: this was going on, how what you know that?
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: But that's it?
- 1:14:18Speaker 9: All right, Well, we have.
- 1:14:18Speaker 7: Time for another one. This is from Michelle and Lansing.
- 1:14:21Speaker 10: Michelle says, it's getting chilly, and my husband hates when
- 1:14:25Speaker 10: I put the dog in the bed with us. I
- 1:14:27Speaker 10: told him that I could either sleep in the other
- 1:14:29Speaker 10: room or he can let the dog sleep at the
- 1:14:31Speaker 10: foot of the bed.
- 1:14:32Speaker 7: He said that me and the dog can sleep in
- 1:14:35Speaker 7: the guest room. How could he be so cruel.
- 1:14:39Speaker 6: Because he an'll won't sleep with your damn dog. Ain't
- 1:14:42Speaker 6: no dog getting in my bed. And if you insist,
- 1:14:44Speaker 6: then y'all going over there and have y'all's the time together.
- 1:14:47Speaker 7: But a lot of people sleep with their dogs in
- 1:14:50Speaker 7: the bed. A lot of people do.
- 1:14:51Speaker 6: And it's a lot of people, and it's a lot
- 1:14:53Speaker 6: of people don't sleep with their dog in a bit.
- 1:14:55Speaker 6: The dog ought to have a bed. He's a dog,
- 1:14:57Speaker 6: it's not a human. That's your problem. Your dog is
- 1:15:01Speaker 6: a dog.
- 1:15:03Speaker 7: She thinks her husband is being cruel.
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: Dog kid is as a little cage making real cozy.
- 1:15:08Speaker 10: Coming up in twenty minutes, we'll have more of the
- 1:15:10Speaker 10: Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:15:13Speaker 9: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:15:18Speaker 7: All right, guys.
- 1:15:18Speaker 10: In weird animal News, visitors at a zoo in China
- 1:15:21Speaker 10: were outraged to discover that the pandas they had been
- 1:15:25Speaker 10: admiring were actually dogs painted to look like pandas.
- 1:15:31Speaker 7: Okay, did you guys see this?
- 1:15:33Speaker 5: This was so right?
- 1:15:34Speaker 7: See the pan dogs to look like pandas.
- 1:15:38Speaker 10: The trick was uncovered when one of the supposed pandas
- 1:15:41Speaker 10: began panning, barking.
- 1:15:43Speaker 7: With their turn hanging out of their mouths while resting
- 1:15:47Speaker 7: on a rock.
- 1:15:48Speaker 10: The zoo initially defended the deception, claiming the animals were
- 1:15:51Speaker 10: a breed of quote panda dogs, but later admitted they
- 1:15:55Speaker 10: had simply died to chow chow dogs with white and
- 1:15:58Speaker 10: black dye.
- 1:15:59Speaker 7: Visitors a mandate refund.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: What is cheap ans do it?
- 1:16:05Speaker 6: It's in China, you know they do specialize in you know,
- 1:16:11Speaker 6: copy and stuff.
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: That's about what China? What a panda bark?
- 1:16:21Speaker 7: Wait, panta, don't do that and barking?
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: Yeah, child, that's a big fluffy dog.
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, what did the bad news?
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: You ain't see that dog?
- 1:16:37Speaker 7: But they looked like dogs though.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: When you see hey man, send me a picture, Hey dog?
- 1:16:44Speaker 5: Hey man?
- 1:16:44Speaker 7: Did all right?
- 1:16:54Speaker 10: All right, coming up with thirty three minutes after the hour,
- 1:16:57Speaker 10: we'll play it around it.
- 1:16:58Speaker 7: Would you rather right after this?
- 1:17:01Speaker 9: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:17:04Speaker 7: It is time now for a round of would you rather?
- 1:17:07Speaker 7: All right, guys, would you rather have sex in a
- 1:17:09Speaker 7: haunted house? Or would you rather have sex in the
- 1:17:13Speaker 7: river on a canoe?
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: Hey, I'm gonna get on that canoe. I'm going to
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: hint a house. That house, I ain't gonna be do
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: nothing in that house.
- 1:17:23Speaker 7: You're gonna be.
- 1:17:26Speaker 6: I can't do nothing in the house. What I can't
- 1:17:28Speaker 6: do is flip this boat over there. That's what I
- 1:17:34Speaker 6: really can't flip this damn boat. Because now we went
- 1:17:38Speaker 6: from having sex to try to save my black ass life?
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:17:46Speaker 10: Would you rather never wear dress shoes again? Or would
- 1:17:50Speaker 10: you rather never wear sneakers again?
- 1:17:53Speaker 7: Which one?
- 1:17:54Speaker 5: Now?
- 1:17:54Speaker 7: How you like to put it on? Steve Harvey?
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: I gotta help both for them?
- 1:17:59Speaker 5: Man? Uh?
- 1:18:02Speaker 7: Pick one?
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: Would you rather I gotta get rid of I gotta
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: get rid of him dress you?
- 1:18:08Speaker 8: Yeah, Junior, it depends on what my big toe say.
- 1:18:16Speaker 8: That's the one that's gonna be under pressure. You're talking
- 1:18:18Speaker 8: about big toes.
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: My big toe. You better get them damn sneakers.
- 1:18:22Speaker 7: Then what are we talking about?
- 1:18:26Speaker 5: Man?
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: Sneakers? But my big toe. See, I don't like wear
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: sneakers with a suit. That's my amy.
- 1:18:35Speaker 6: It looks it looks good when I see guys doing it.
- 1:18:38Speaker 6: Some guys look good with sneakers.
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: Everybody don't do it right, but I don't. It's not
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: for me.
- 1:18:45Speaker 13: The sports commentators don't do it right, all right, not
- 1:18:56Speaker 13: some I'm not saying talking about this is gonna see
- 1:18:58Speaker 13: it then over loost.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: He don't need to do it no more?
- 1:19:03Speaker 7: All right? Would you rather say whatever to your wife
- 1:19:08Speaker 7: during an argument? Or would you rather just walk away
- 1:19:12Speaker 7: from her? Just walk off, just walk away? No, just
- 1:19:14Speaker 7: walk just walk away, just walk off.
- 1:19:18Speaker 5: You know what?
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: Whatever?
- 1:19:19Speaker 6: Do that's a month, I know whatever? Whatever, Oh, I
- 1:19:28Speaker 6: can say it. That's where we are. We had what happened.
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: Now you don't hear me I'm talking. You're gonna walk
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: off while I'm talking. No, I'm gonna walk off though.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: That's okay, all right?
- 1:19:45Speaker 10: Would you rather calamine lotion for itchy skin or would
- 1:19:49Speaker 10: you rather baby oil for its skin?
- 1:19:52Speaker 3: I ain't doing nothing, baby, I'm not doing nothing, baby,
- 1:19:55Speaker 3: I'm caliban. I'm looking like salmon.
- 1:19:57Speaker 6: No, I ain't gonna fix that itching irritated.
- 1:20:04Speaker 7: Yeah, fix the ash, but not the itch.
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: Take that take there?
- 1:20:14Speaker 10: All right, coming up next, Thank you, guys. That's today's roundup.
- 1:20:18Speaker 10: Would you rather coming up next to? It is our
- 1:20:20Speaker 10: last break of the day, and Steve Harvey will close
- 1:20:23Speaker 10: out the.
- 1:20:23Speaker 7: Show right after this.
- 1:20:25Speaker 9: You're listening morning show?
- 1:20:28Speaker 10: All right, guys, here we are, last break of the
- 1:20:31Speaker 10: day on this Monday Countdown is on Steve.
- 1:20:36Speaker 6: Hey, y'all, we just have to both. It's period. There's
- 1:20:39Speaker 6: no more, there's no more decision making. The decision is obvious,
- 1:20:45Speaker 6: the obvious decision. If you're talking about quality of person,
- 1:20:49Speaker 6: it's Kamala Harris. If you're talking about record, it's Kamala Harris.
- 1:20:56Speaker 6: If you're talking about i Q intelligence, brightness, its Kamala Harris.
- 1:21:03Speaker 6: If you're talking about trustworthy, honesty, is Kamala Harris. This
- 1:21:10Speaker 6: man doesn't check the block. He doesn't check the blocks
- 1:21:14Speaker 6: in any of those areas. I don't care how Republican
- 1:21:17Speaker 6: you are, how conservative. He's not an honest person. He's
- 1:21:21Speaker 6: not a quality person.
- 1:21:25Speaker 11: You know.
- 1:21:26Speaker 6: I can't say that he's not intelligent. That's not what
- 1:21:29Speaker 6: I'm saying, because you don't get to be in his
- 1:21:33Speaker 6: position without a level of intelligence. It's just his intelligence
- 1:21:37Speaker 6: towards what though his intelligence towards money and self superior,
- 1:21:43Speaker 6: his intellect towards you as a people not so good.
- 1:21:48Speaker 6: And I don't know if you are understand this, but
- 1:21:50Speaker 6: it's not going to work out for you if Donald
- 1:21:53Speaker 6: Trump becomes president. It will not work out for the
- 1:21:57Speaker 6: average Trumpster. It will work out for the Trump financial
- 1:22:01Speaker 6: supporters and backers, but it will not work out for
- 1:22:05Speaker 6: you as a Trumpster. If you are black for Trump,
- 1:22:08Speaker 6: you are going to be the most disappointed group of
- 1:22:12Speaker 6: them all because you are going to find out exactly
- 1:22:15Speaker 6: why how much Trump is for blacks. It's just really
- 1:22:19Speaker 6: obvious at this point. Now you can call you write
- 1:22:23Speaker 6: in and block my page with all this Trump stuff
- 1:22:26Speaker 6: if you want to. But the obvious reason for me
- 1:22:30Speaker 6: that you're voting for Trump is because you are like him.
- 1:22:33Speaker 6: And that's a sad statement about yourself if you ask
- 1:22:36Speaker 6: me the truth, because if you ask me, am I
- 1:22:39Speaker 6: like Donald Trump? No? I'm not. No, I'm not, nor
- 1:22:43Speaker 6: nor do I aspire to be the problem is there
- 1:22:46Speaker 6: are many of you who do, and that's sick man.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: And that's sick. The fact that you're ignoring everything that's wrong.
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: It's the craziest part of this in it all for me.
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: I just don't understand how you're doing it. You're ignoring
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: the thirty four indictments. You think all of this is
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: made up, it's not.
- 1:23:08Speaker 6: You're ignoring the fact that when you fact check him
- 1:23:11Speaker 6: that he repeatedly lies.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: You're ignoring the fact that you know, good and hell
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: well the election wasn't stolen.
- 1:23:18Speaker 5: You know that.
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: No court would even take the case. You know it,
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: and you still let him do it.
- 1:23:29Speaker 6: You know January sixth insurrection was wrong, and you know
- 1:23:33Speaker 6: he caused it and was aware of it.
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: And you're overlooking that too.
- 1:23:37Speaker 6: He's saying that he's for the police department and support
- 1:23:40Speaker 6: the men and women in blue, But the men and
- 1:23:42Speaker 6: women in blue who lost their jobs, careers, and their lives.
- 1:23:47Speaker 6: He wants to pardon all the January sixth insurrectionists. You
- 1:23:52Speaker 6: want to ignore the fact that he doesn't pay income taxes,
- 1:23:55Speaker 6: and you do. You want to keep you just want
- 1:23:57Speaker 6: to ignore it. You want to ignore the fact that
- 1:24:02Speaker 6: what he did to the Central Park five. You want
- 1:24:05Speaker 6: to ignore the fact that he was convicted of blatant
- 1:24:08Speaker 6: racism and housing policies. You want to continue to ignore
- 1:24:13Speaker 6: that and vote for him anyway? That just says a
- 1:24:16Speaker 6: lot about you as a person. And I'm sorry, man,
- 1:24:19Speaker 6: take your blinders off, take your colored glasses off, and
- 1:24:23Speaker 6: look at this man for what he really is.
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: Period.
- 1:24:26Speaker 6: But I got news for you, man, this will be
- 1:24:29Speaker 6: over with it in a little while. If we do
- 1:24:31Speaker 6: our job, Kamala Harris will be president. If we don't
- 1:24:35Speaker 6: do our job, Donald Trump will be president. And Donald
- 1:24:38Speaker 6: Trump will show you from day one what he's really about.
- 1:24:45Speaker 6: He can't get reelected again. Man, This dude gonna go
- 1:24:48Speaker 6: after everybody that's after him so he can get out
- 1:24:51Speaker 6: of this or this criminal case stuff. That's what he's
- 1:24:55Speaker 6: going to spend his time doing. He's not going to
- 1:24:58Speaker 6: spend any time bringing jobs to America. He's not gonna
- 1:25:01Speaker 6: spend any time fixing the economy. He gonna run the
- 1:25:04Speaker 6: company like he gonna run the country, like he runs
- 1:25:07Speaker 6: his companies. He occurs debt, he occurs debt, That's how
- 1:25:15Speaker 6: he runs his company. He not gonna spend his money,
- 1:25:19Speaker 6: he gonna use other people's money.
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: So, y'all, this is it.
- 1:25:25Speaker 6: Look it's voting time period. And look, man, would I
- 1:25:33Speaker 6: personally stand to benefit from some of what he's gonna do,
- 1:25:37Speaker 6: Probably somewhere down the line because of the income. But
- 1:25:45Speaker 6: I still won't vote for him because I care more
- 1:25:49Speaker 6: for the masses than I do for my own personal
- 1:25:52Speaker 6: gains that I might win out of this thing. Man,
- 1:25:56Speaker 6: it's not gonna be good for us as a people.
- 1:25:58Speaker 6: It's not gonna be good for you.
- 1:26:00Speaker 3: You.
- 1:26:01Speaker 6: And the reason I care about the common man most
- 1:26:03Speaker 6: is because it's a common man who has contributed to
- 1:26:07Speaker 6: who being who I am.
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: That's just a fact.
- 1:26:10Speaker 6: The common man has bought my tickets, the common man
- 1:26:13Speaker 6: has bought my books, the common man listens to my
- 1:26:16Speaker 6: radio show. So I have to vote for the what's
- 1:26:19Speaker 6: best for them. I'll be fine. I will find a
- 1:26:22Speaker 6: way to be fine. And if you trust in God,
