- 2:08Speaker 4: dig me now.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Run and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yeah.
- 2:14Speaker 8: Man.
- 2:15Speaker 2: God is in the blessing business all day every day.
- 2:18Speaker 4: God got hundreds of millions of blessings that he passes
- 2:22Speaker 4: out every day. All I want to do is be
- 2:27Speaker 4: the recipient that I'm the recipient of what He has
- 2:32Speaker 4: for me. That's all I want. I just want God's favor,
- 2:38Speaker 4: and I go. I want God's blessings. You know, of
- 2:41Speaker 4: course I need his mercy and his grace, but I
- 2:45Speaker 4: just want his blessings and his favor.
- 2:49Speaker 2: I want.
- 2:50Speaker 4: I want that in my life because it does things
- 2:53Speaker 4: for me that I'm absolutely incapable of doing for myself.
- 2:57Speaker 4: And I've been a recipient of many of those. And
- 3:00Speaker 4: you can be the recipient of them too. You already are, really, really,
- 3:06Speaker 4: you already are. If you're getting up every morning, that's
- 3:09Speaker 4: a blessing. If you're getting one day closer to anything
- 3:13Speaker 4: you're trying to accomplish, that's a blessing. But now let
- 3:17Speaker 4: me talk to you about this part right here, folks,
- 3:19Speaker 4: because this is the part that message people up a
- 3:21Speaker 4: great deal.
- 3:22Speaker 2: What happens when you get off track? What is that?
- 3:28Speaker 2: What does that mean? When you get off track? See?
- 3:33Speaker 2: I've been off track.
- 3:34Speaker 4: I can't tell you how many times, and it happens
- 3:37Speaker 4: in so many aspects of your life. But for what
- 3:40Speaker 4: is it that makes getting off track so debilitating to
- 3:45Speaker 4: some people? You know, there are some people who want
- 3:48Speaker 4: theay off track. They of course, they off the dream.
- 3:51Speaker 4: They on to something else. And you cannot allow the
- 3:55Speaker 4: fact that you've gotten off track.
- 3:58Speaker 2: To stop you can. I tell you something. Everybody gets
- 4:04Speaker 2: off track.
- 4:06Speaker 4: There are people who are living their life's dreams in
- 4:12Speaker 4: spite of getting off track. See what happens when you
- 4:15Speaker 4: get off track? Here's the simple thing to do. The
- 4:18Speaker 4: simple thing is just to get back on track. Now
- 4:21Speaker 4: that's that's but that's easier said than done. Ain't it, Steve.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:25Speaker 4: Because see, people, when you get off track, here's some
- 4:28Speaker 4: of the things that happen. See you get the here
- 4:32Speaker 4: come to nay says some of them from the outside,
- 4:36Speaker 4: some of them internally. Here's what gets said when you
- 4:40Speaker 4: get off track. See, I told you, I told you.
- 4:45Speaker 4: You know, you start hearing that it's not for you. Okay,
- 4:53Speaker 4: this is all just because you got off track.
- 4:56Speaker 2: It's not for you.
- 4:58Speaker 4: Okay, here's another one. It ain't meant to be. You
- 5:02Speaker 4: can hear it all. You could say it. Well, I
- 5:05Speaker 4: guess it's just not meant to be. But let me
- 5:09Speaker 4: ask you a question, though, who made the rule that
- 5:14Speaker 4: when you get off track you can't get back on?
- 5:18Speaker 2: Who made that rule?
- 5:20Speaker 1: Where has that written that once you get off track.
- 5:23Speaker 4: You can't get back on? See, because I'm gonna tell
- 5:27Speaker 4: you something, folks, there's no such rule. As a matter
- 5:31Speaker 4: of fact, it's quite the opposite. See, everybody in pursuit
- 5:37Speaker 4: of a dream, a goal, an aspiration, or mission is
- 5:42Speaker 4: going to get off track. Sometimes you're going to get derailed.
- 5:47Speaker 4: There are going to be days where you're not going
- 5:49Speaker 4: to get it right. That are going to be days
- 5:52Speaker 4: where you feel like giving up there's going to be
- 5:54Speaker 4: days when you're just gonna flat out get it wrong.
- 5:57Speaker 2: That's the journey. But let me tell you, every.
- 6:00Speaker 4: Successful person that I know, ever met, talked to, set out,
- 6:04Speaker 4: and chopped it up with, have shared one thing in common.
- 6:08Speaker 4: We all get off track. We all get it wrong
- 6:12Speaker 4: along the way. I don't care who the person is.
- 6:15Speaker 4: The president got it wrong along the way. Your pastor
- 6:20Speaker 4: got it wrong along the way. Quiet director guy got
- 6:24Speaker 4: it wrong along the way. The principle at your school
- 6:27Speaker 4: got it wrong along the way. The valve victorian of
- 6:30Speaker 4: your class got it wrong along the way. The star
- 6:36Speaker 4: of the team got it wrong along the way. They've
- 6:40Speaker 4: all been off track. Your boss down at your job,
- 6:44Speaker 4: he got it wrong along the way. Your immediate supervisor
- 6:48Speaker 4: got it wrong along the way. Everybody I know that
- 6:54Speaker 4: has any measure of success in every level that you
- 6:57Speaker 4: call success, however you want to label it, has gotten
- 7:00Speaker 4: off track. As a matter of fact, it's impossible. Listen
- 7:07Speaker 4: to me, it is impossible not to get off track
- 7:13Speaker 4: in pursuit of your dreams, goals, visions, aspirations. It is impossible.
- 7:20Speaker 4: Don't you let nobody tell you that they got through
- 7:23Speaker 4: life unscathed, that they made it because they were just
- 7:27Speaker 4: so determined, and I would let nothing turn me back. Yeah,
- 7:31Speaker 4: you might not have let nothing turn you back because
- 7:33Speaker 4: you hear Oh, but you thought about it. Oh, you
- 7:37Speaker 4: thought about it on days when you was off track.
- 7:40Speaker 4: But see, people don't like to tell the whole story.
- 7:43Speaker 4: They just want you to think as much as you
- 7:45Speaker 4: can about them. So when they tell you their story,
- 7:48Speaker 4: they leave out the stuff along the way. It was
- 7:51Speaker 4: just hard work and determination that got me here.
- 7:54Speaker 2: No it wasn't, No, it wasn't.
- 7:56Speaker 4: It was the fact that you got off track, and
- 7:59Speaker 4: the grace and of God allowed you to get back on.
- 8:03Speaker 4: His forgiveness allowed you to get back on because you
- 8:05Speaker 4: would not believe what some of the people have done.
- 8:09Speaker 4: So when you get off track, don't allow the naysayers
- 8:13Speaker 4: outside and the big naysayer inside, because let me tell
- 8:17Speaker 4: you something, the biggest naysayer of them all comes from inside. See,
- 8:22Speaker 4: it don't matter what other people say out there. It
- 8:24Speaker 4: takes some time for you to learn this. And I
- 8:26Speaker 4: understand because it took me some time to learn it. See,
- 8:29Speaker 4: I have a lot of naysayers out there, but I
- 8:32Speaker 4: ain't operating for them, operating function for the ones that
- 8:36Speaker 4: love me, for the ones that get me, for the
- 8:39Speaker 4: ones that understand what I'm really trying to do. And
- 8:42Speaker 4: so don't you be the one that doesn't allow yourself
- 8:49Speaker 4: to get back on track when you get off track, because,
- 8:52Speaker 4: like I said, who made the rule up that you
- 8:54Speaker 4: can't get back on track? There's no such rule out there.
- 8:59Speaker 4: Stop stopping yourself from getting it right. So what you
- 9:04Speaker 4: started to die at the beginning of the year, and
- 9:07Speaker 4: you already off start another one, start over, try it again,
- 9:13Speaker 4: don't ever stop trying. If you stop trying, you can't
- 9:17Speaker 4: make it. But if you never give up the effort,
- 9:20Speaker 4: if you never give up and say it's over, it
- 9:22Speaker 4: ain't over. You heard the saying it ain't over, to
- 9:25Speaker 4: the fat lady saying I never invite her.
- 9:29Speaker 2: She's not invited. It ain't over.
- 9:33Speaker 4: To the fat lady saying I don't know where the
- 9:35Speaker 4: fat lady stay. I have not sent her an invitation
- 9:39Speaker 4: to none of my events. She's not welcome here. She
- 9:43Speaker 4: didn't ask me a couple of times. How come I
- 9:45Speaker 4: never get invited? Because you gonna start saying it and
- 9:49Speaker 4: I ain't got time for that, all right, stop inviting
- 9:53Speaker 4: the fat lady to all your events.
- 9:56Speaker 9: Thank you you're listening.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Show, Ladies and gentlemen. The time has arrived, a new day.
- 10:05Speaker 4: Is here a gift? A present from God? I mean,
- 10:09Speaker 4: he just does it whenever you get this opportunity, man,
- 10:12Speaker 4: please don't forget to take a moment to say thank you,
- 10:15Speaker 4: because you've you've arrived at a point in your life
- 10:18Speaker 4: you've never been before.
- 10:20Speaker 2: It's called now. You're about to experience a day you've
- 10:23Speaker 2: never had before.
- 10:24Speaker 4: It's called today. You are about to experience a gift
- 10:29Speaker 4: from God. It's called the present.
- 10:32Speaker 5: Man.
- 10:33Speaker 2: That that's worthy, and.
- 10:35Speaker 4: Nobody else can do that for you on a daily basis,
- 10:38Speaker 4: not any moment in the day except God Almighty.
- 10:41Speaker 2: I owe him for that. Thank you, Lord. Steve har
- 10:44Speaker 2: Morning Show is oh and cracking shock man.
- 10:52Speaker 4: I don't even know how to start. Shirley Rick, Mississippi Monica.
- 11:00Speaker 4: Your the man named Ketch fake legend. That is nephew Tommy,
- 11:04Speaker 4: owner of the Shadow Tauld. Ladies and gentlemen, this is.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Body blow.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, are you feeling well?
- 11:29Speaker 8: You know?
- 11:31Speaker 4: H it's Friday. Things about to jump off? Anniversary is
- 11:37Speaker 4: uh tomorrow Saturday? Okay, Anniversary seventeen got to be busy.
- 11:46Speaker 4: Got to be busy tomorrow. I got to be busy tomorrow. Yeah,
- 11:51Speaker 4: but you know I have out about it. Mind blowing situations.
- 11:57Speaker 2: That's what I love it. Yes, I'm blowing. I'm talking
- 12:01Speaker 2: about blow your wig back.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Oh No, do you enjoy doing that up? You enjoy
- 12:06Speaker 1: doing that?
- 12:07Speaker 2: Well? I enjoy doing it for somebody that appreciates That's
- 12:12Speaker 2: that's a big thing, you know. Man.
- 12:15Speaker 4: If I could offer a woman any suggestion, and now
- 12:18Speaker 4: let me say this, lady, I'm not. I'm not saying
- 12:22Speaker 4: it's not supposed to go the other way, so cause
- 12:25Speaker 4: I'm not. But let me tell you something, ladies, nothing
- 12:29Speaker 4: means more to your man than if you appreciate it.
- 12:35Speaker 4: If you verbally thank him for the things he does.
- 12:40Speaker 4: If your man does not love you just the way
- 12:44Speaker 4: you want him to, but he giving you all he got,
- 12:47Speaker 4: you might have a good man on your hands.
- 12:50Speaker 2: He might not be the best communicator, he might not
- 12:53Speaker 2: have the best way of suring it.
- 12:55Speaker 4: But if he bringing it in every day for you,
- 12:58Speaker 4: and he working with you, and that's why that's what
- 13:01Speaker 4: he got, he might have a pretty google. But if
- 13:03Speaker 4: you can tell him how much you appreciate, that means
- 13:07Speaker 4: so much to a man, and I can't tell you
- 13:10Speaker 4: how many times it's overlooked because I talk to me
- 13:13Speaker 4: in all the time. And that's the number one complaint
- 13:16Speaker 4: when they around theyself around each other. Man all I do, Man,
- 13:20Speaker 4: act like I'm just on automatic like I'm supposed to.
- 13:24Speaker 4: He said, I got, that's my duty. But I just
- 13:26Speaker 4: wish somebody man would just appreciate it. I'm that's my suggestion.
- 13:32Speaker 4: You ain't got to, but I bet it go a
- 13:34Speaker 4: long way.
- 13:35Speaker 9: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Thank you for that, Steve.
- 13:39Speaker 9: We're gonna hear from the nephews. He runs that prank back.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Right after this.
- 13:43Speaker 9: You're listening hard morning show. It is time now for
- 13:48Speaker 9: the nephew to run that prank back.
- 13:50Speaker 1: What you got for his nep Me and.
- 13:53Speaker 10: My Jesus, let's go Hello. Hello, I'm trying to beaches sister.
- 14:02Speaker 10: How you doing.
- 14:03Speaker 2: I'm giving you a call on behalf of Baptist Church.
- 14:07Speaker 2: You are a member there? Am I right?
- 14:09Speaker 11: Yes? I am?
- 14:10Speaker 2: Okay, listen, I'm calling you.
- 14:13Speaker 10: They some of the members have gotten together and had
- 14:15Speaker 10: a meeting and wanted me to give you a call.
- 14:20Speaker 10: It seems that a lot of them are complaining about
- 14:24Speaker 10: Sunday services that go on and wanted for me to
- 14:27Speaker 10: give you a call on their behalf so that we
- 14:30Speaker 10: can see if we can address the problem and talk
- 14:32Speaker 10: to you diligently as possible and try to get the
- 14:35Speaker 10: problem rectified.
- 14:36Speaker 6: What's going on.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Well, it seems like that a lot of members are complaining.
- 14:43Speaker 9: I'm sorry, and what is your name again?
- 14:45Speaker 2: My name is ma'am. I'm not actually a member of
- 14:49Speaker 2: the church.
- 14:49Speaker 10: I've just been the one that been asked to give
- 14:51Speaker 10: you a call and try to talk on the members' behalf,
- 14:54Speaker 10: so maybe we can get this problem rectified that you
- 14:57Speaker 10: that they have as far as you are con now.
- 15:00Speaker 11: Okay, go ahead, I'm just trying to see what this
- 15:02Speaker 11: is in regards to go ahead.
- 15:04Speaker 10: Well, it seems like the members of the church are
- 15:07Speaker 10: complaining about that you're doing too much shouting at church
- 15:12Speaker 10: on Sunday, and it seems to be going on every Sunday,
- 15:14Speaker 10: you running up and down the aisle and you shouting
- 15:16Speaker 10: all over the place.
- 15:17Speaker 2: And it's me.
- 15:20Speaker 11: I've been singled out about my shouting.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Is that what you're saying, Well, evidently it's distracting, ma'am.
- 15:25Speaker 10: You're distracting everyone from getting the word and listening to
- 15:28Speaker 10: the word and being involved in the service.
- 15:30Speaker 2: And that's the purpose of the call is to see
- 15:32Speaker 2: if we can get you to tone it down some.
- 15:35Speaker 11: Okay, So the whole church is complaining about me shouting
- 15:38Speaker 11: the way people run up and down the mouse every
- 15:41Speaker 11: Sunday and almost turning cart wheels and flips, and they
- 15:44Speaker 11: singling me, I complained about me.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Well, ma'am, I.
- 15:47Speaker 10: Don't know how it is that you can see everybody
- 15:49Speaker 10: else doing cort wheels when you're the ones that they
- 15:52Speaker 10: say is the one that's doing them.
- 15:53Speaker 11: You do how am I being singled out?
- 15:55Speaker 2: Man?
- 15:56Speaker 10: All I'm saying is that they saying that you're doing
- 15:58Speaker 10: too much shouting and too much running at this church.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Now I'm just the message.
- 16:03Speaker 11: Well, they can't tell me how to shout, then they
- 16:05Speaker 11: can't tell me what's going on.
- 16:07Speaker 6: In my life.
- 16:07Speaker 11: What's gonna keep me from praising God? And they, I mean,
- 16:10Speaker 11: they could just they could go somewhere else with that,
- 16:12Speaker 11: but they're not gonna tell me that I can't praise
- 16:14Speaker 11: my God. They don't know how good God has been
- 16:17Speaker 11: to me.
- 16:17Speaker 10: And you know what, I understand that I agree with
- 16:20Speaker 10: you wholeheartedly, but it's becoming a distraction. I mean, they
- 16:24Speaker 10: was at the point last night talking about should we
- 16:26Speaker 10: put some seat belts on the pews so so you
- 16:29Speaker 10: can stay down.
- 16:29Speaker 11: We will put some seat but beinly gonna tell people
- 16:32Speaker 11: they can't shout in church and praise God. What do
- 16:35Speaker 11: we come to church?
- 16:35Speaker 5: Farm?
- 16:36Speaker 2: Will you do? Come to?
- 16:37Speaker 11: You need to be trying to praise God and get
- 16:39Speaker 11: their own shout on and stop looking at me and
- 16:40Speaker 11: worry about what I'm doing.
- 16:42Speaker 2: We gonna need you to quit running up and down
- 16:44Speaker 2: these aisles and doing what you no.
- 16:46Speaker 11: I'm sorry, you know, I'm trying to stay calm. I'm
- 16:49Speaker 11: trying my best cool Jesus, she said that that's not happening.
- 16:53Speaker 11: You can't tell me I gotta stop shouting.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Okay, man, but let me ask you. Are you running now?
- 16:58Speaker 2: Aren't you just standing still?
- 16:59Speaker 8: Talk?
- 17:00Speaker 11: Because I don't have to run right now?
- 17:02Speaker 2: Okay, what I'm trying to get you to do like.
- 17:04Speaker 11: This, I want to run up and down this street
- 17:06Speaker 11: right now. I can run up and down the street
- 17:07Speaker 11: and price God. But they're not gonna tell me to
- 17:09Speaker 11: stop chouting the church.
- 17:10Speaker 10: Can we get you to be a little bit more
- 17:12Speaker 10: reserved as what we see. Man, let me let me
- 17:14Speaker 10: go ahead and.
- 17:15Speaker 6: Go further on what they do how the spirit moves.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Okay, well, let me move and tell you what they've
- 17:22Speaker 2: told me.
- 17:22Speaker 10: Now, if we can't get to the point where you can,
- 17:26Speaker 10: you know, tone it down, then we may have to
- 17:28Speaker 10: ask you to leave.
- 17:31Speaker 11: Asked me, Oh, Jesus, O Jesus, why don't they want
- 17:35Speaker 11: me to leave a church. I've been at that church
- 17:37Speaker 11: for fifteen years. I'm not leaving the church. I'm gonna
- 17:40Speaker 11: run up and down. I'm not gonna run the church
- 17:44Speaker 11: something I feel like it not. Now, listen, that's all
- 17:49Speaker 11: I'm okay, go ahead.
- 17:50Speaker 5: I'm gonna be there.
- 17:52Speaker 2: I'm going to I'm going to be there on Sunday.
- 17:55Speaker 10: Man, and I have been the person that's been appointed
- 17:58Speaker 10: to make sure that you're not running up and down
- 18:00Speaker 10: these house and shotting like this. You have to keep
- 18:02Speaker 10: yourself reserved so people can hear the word of God.
- 18:05Speaker 10: You are standing in people's word. That's what you're doing.
- 18:07Speaker 2: You in the whale.
- 18:08Speaker 11: If they come trying to send me down, I'm gonna
- 18:10Speaker 11: give them a word and it ain't gonna be a God.
- 18:12Speaker 11: So let's her put that hands up on me here, No, listen,
- 18:15Speaker 11: I'm telling you that now. You could say I have
- 18:18Speaker 11: been in that church fifteen years. If I want to
- 18:20Speaker 11: run and dance, shout, jump cuenty, whatever I want to do,
- 18:23Speaker 11: I'm gonna do it. It ain't nobody gonna stop me.
- 18:26Speaker 2: You're gonna have to stop this.
- 18:27Speaker 10: This past Sunday was your last Sunday doing it, and
- 18:30Speaker 10: you're not finna do it this Sunday.
- 18:32Speaker 11: Well, like I said, just why, And I'm telling you
- 18:34Speaker 11: could tell the ernsers, the deacon board, the deaconess, the
- 18:37Speaker 11: minister's wives, or whoever else you want to tell. Let
- 18:40Speaker 11: them put their hands on me and see if I
- 18:41Speaker 11: don't swing on them, I'm gonna come run about the
- 18:43Speaker 11: spirit and swing on it. I'm telling you that now,
- 18:46Speaker 11: because see, sir, you don't really push me there out
- 18:47Speaker 11: of try. Let me ask you this, what is trying
- 18:50Speaker 11: to show that I'm saying, Remember, but you make it.
- 18:53Speaker 11: You you're making me revert back to my own ways,
- 18:55Speaker 11: and you you're really gonna put me out.
- 18:57Speaker 6: That's what you're finna do.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Okay, Well, let me ask you this way is the
- 19:00Speaker 2: God at right now in you? Where is the one
- 19:03Speaker 2: that it was the God was.
- 19:05Speaker 11: In me when I was trying to be called you
- 19:07Speaker 11: at first to tell you don't be calling me with
- 19:08Speaker 11: this foolishness. But now you've the maid the other side
- 19:11Speaker 11: of me rose up.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Well, you wouldn't raise it up in there. You wouldn't
- 19:14Speaker 2: raise it up in me too.
- 19:15Speaker 10: Guess what come sound that You're gonna sit you up
- 19:17Speaker 10: in that pew and you ain't gonna.
- 19:19Speaker 6: Move you know?
- 19:24Speaker 11: Okay, all right, why I'm gonna see how well I'm
- 19:26Speaker 11: not sitting at you a matter of fact, first sing
- 19:29Speaker 11: time in the morning, I'm going to past Oh yeah,
- 19:31Speaker 11: we ain't gonna Deacon wherever you want, whatever your name is,
- 19:35Speaker 11: I'm gonna tell him about it. God, matter how long we.
- 19:37Speaker 10: Get, you need to lose, I would be talking to
- 19:40Speaker 10: Pastor myself and letting him know about this situation.
- 19:42Speaker 6: You don't talk.
- 19:43Speaker 11: You don't know we can come Pastor yourn way.
- 19:47Speaker 2: You don't talk to Pastor.
- 19:49Speaker 11: I talked to Pastor at this church fifteen years. Like
- 19:52Speaker 11: I said, I'm telling you, oh Jesus, oh, you fein
- 19:57Speaker 11: old Jesus, not.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Not not not now see just like this is see
- 20:00Speaker 2: how you calling on it?
- 20:01Speaker 11: And yeah, because I'm calling on here. I'm to keep
- 20:04Speaker 11: you from just really going to cush you want right now,
- 20:06Speaker 11: because you don't really hitting my nerves.
- 20:08Speaker 2: I got one more thing I need to say to you, ladies.
- 20:10Speaker 11: You better say real quick because you're gonna talk to
- 20:13Speaker 11: this operator.
- 20:13Speaker 10: That's his nephew, Timy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 20:18Speaker 1: You just got prank by your girl.
- 20:25Speaker 6: I'm gonna kick but.
- 20:32Speaker 11: Cursing on the pet.
- 20:33Speaker 10: Okay, Jesus, I got one more thing, baby, Let me
- 20:36Speaker 10: ask you something. What is the baddest I'm talking about
- 20:38Speaker 10: the baddest radio show.
- 20:40Speaker 2: In the land?
- 20:41Speaker 11: Harvey Morning.
- 20:46Speaker 9: All right, thanking nephew coming up next, it is s
- 20:50Speaker 9: the clo our chief love Officer, Steve Harvey. Is you're
- 20:53Speaker 9: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the top
- 20:57Speaker 9: of the hour, we're gonna have a special guest has
- 21:00Speaker 9: built quite a resume in the interior design world. He's
- 21:03Speaker 9: working with you, Steve. He's done that before, back in
- 21:06Speaker 9: Chicago when you had your talk show. He's designed reality
- 21:10Speaker 9: star Charie Whitfield's house. He's starring in a brand new
- 21:14Speaker 9: Netflix series and he's going to tell us all about
- 21:16Speaker 9: it at the top of the hour. But right now
- 21:19Speaker 9: it is time to ask the clo. This is from
- 21:23Speaker 9: Frisia in Lexington. Fraser writes, I'm thirty three years old
- 21:27Speaker 9: and I've been married for fifteen years. I was a
- 21:30Speaker 9: rebellious teenager and I married a controlling older man that's
- 21:34Speaker 9: a preacher from the beginning. He told me, he told
- 21:37Speaker 9: me he didn't want kids, but I do.
- 21:40Speaker 4: Now?
- 21:40Speaker 9: Is it selfish to divorce him over this?
- 21:44Speaker 8: Will?
- 21:45Speaker 2: I mean, if you want kids and he don't, I mean,
- 21:49Speaker 2: it's your life. You know, you a woman.
- 21:53Speaker 4: You know, if that's in your dream is to have
- 21:55Speaker 4: a child, that's your dream. I don't think you should
- 21:58Speaker 4: not have a child because he don't want one. I mean,
- 22:02Speaker 4: you know, you got married, but you got married early,
- 22:05Speaker 4: and you got married to an older man, and you
- 22:08Speaker 4: got married to a controlling man.
- 22:10Speaker 2: Now he wants to.
- 22:11Speaker 4: Control that aspect of your life. If y'all can't reach
- 22:14Speaker 4: a compromise, then you know, I don't know what y'all
- 22:16Speaker 4: gonna do. But that's a tough one to want to
- 22:19Speaker 4: have a child and then him saying he don't want
- 22:21Speaker 4: no kids, so y'all ain't having one. So what you're
- 22:24Speaker 4: supposed to do about your wanting to be a mother.
- 22:28Speaker 4: I mean, I can't even imagine what that is because
- 22:30Speaker 4: I have no I have nothing to give you on
- 22:33Speaker 4: that one, because that's yours and yours alone. The only
- 22:37Speaker 4: people that could make other people are women. So I would,
- 22:43Speaker 4: I would surely and call her. What would you say
- 22:45Speaker 4: to her? Because y'all, y'all make people your career, y'all
- 22:50Speaker 4: actually have made another person. That's crazy, y'all, y'all have
- 22:55Speaker 4: produced another human life. I don't even I'm clueless about that.
- 23:00Speaker 9: She might have to divorce him if she wants kids
- 23:02Speaker 9: and he doesn't, you know, I mean.
- 23:04Speaker 2: That's all.
- 23:05Speaker 7: Say she can't make him want to be a father,
- 23:08Speaker 7: and she really really wants to be a mother, then
- 23:11Speaker 7: she has to lay it all out there and have
- 23:14Speaker 7: that final conversation.
- 23:15Speaker 1: If that's not it, then they may.
- 23:17Speaker 5: Have moved on.
- 23:19Speaker 9: Ye does want kids?
- 23:21Speaker 1: See we agree, all right?
- 23:26Speaker 9: Moving on to Deontay and the DMV. Deontay says, I
- 23:29Speaker 9: had a few drinks the other night and I took
- 23:31Speaker 9: an uber home. My wife saw the car pull off
- 23:34Speaker 9: with the lady driving, but I have no proof that
- 23:37Speaker 9: it was an uber. My boy got it from me
- 23:39Speaker 9: because my cell phone died. I need proof, but I'm
- 23:42Speaker 9: so shamed to ask to ask him.
- 23:45Speaker 5: So what do I do?
- 23:47Speaker 4: Hey man, you better ask your boy for that proof. Yeah,
- 23:49Speaker 4: because you got to get that off you. Let me
- 23:54Speaker 4: explain something to you.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Talk this. Have you ever heard the slogan net pride
- 24:00Speaker 2: coming before a fall?
- 24:02Speaker 5: Yes?
- 24:03Speaker 4: All you got to do is, hey man, my girl
- 24:05Speaker 4: saw the girl drop off man, and she don't believe.
- 24:09Speaker 2: Hey man, you got something you can give me? Man,
- 24:11Speaker 2: So my girl get off my case.
- 24:13Speaker 4: Ain't no dude not gonna understand that, right right, dog,
- 24:17Speaker 4: dudes understand that.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Man, we understand that.
- 24:19Speaker 5: Jam you in.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Dog here, your boy you.
- 24:23Speaker 4: Don't want to go to him, you better go to
- 24:25Speaker 4: him because if you don't, if you don't disprove.
- 24:28Speaker 2: This, man, I can't tell you how long this is
- 24:30Speaker 2: gonna last.
- 24:31Speaker 4: This years, dog, this years. This is gonna cost you
- 24:38Speaker 4: a lot of nights. You got to get that information.
- 24:42Speaker 10: Man, who dropping you off tonight? All of that same
- 24:47Speaker 10: person drop you off two years ago. Oh I ain't forgot,
- 24:50Speaker 10: Oh I ain't get that. Help pick you up.
- 24:56Speaker 2: All right?
- 24:56Speaker 9: Moving on to Katerina and Syracuse, Katerina said, my husband
- 25:00Speaker 9: and I argue constantly about his son's hygiene. When we
- 25:04Speaker 9: got married, his son was six, and now he's ten
- 25:07Speaker 9: years old and not bathing properly or using deodorant. It
- 25:11Speaker 9: will be a long, hot summer. So how do I
- 25:14Speaker 9: get him to wash his butt?
- 25:17Speaker 4: Fuck?
- 25:17Speaker 2: You can't?
- 25:18Speaker 8: Okay?
- 25:19Speaker 2: How old is he? Did she say? An age?
- 25:20Speaker 9: Yeah he's ten now he was six when they got married.
- 25:23Speaker 5: Oh ten?
- 25:23Speaker 2: Oh oh no no, no, oh no, no, no, you
- 25:26Speaker 2: can get up out of here. That's being a boy.
- 25:28Speaker 2: Let me tell you what I used to do. I
- 25:30Speaker 2: used to I used to bring dirt in my pockets
- 25:33Speaker 2: into the house.
- 25:34Speaker 4: How much I hate taking the bath cause we have
- 25:36Speaker 4: a shower and I run water in the tub and
- 25:39Speaker 4: swish it around and then sprinkling dirt around the edge
- 25:42Speaker 4: like he'd been made a rim.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Knock my ass out. I was a little boy. I
- 25:49Speaker 2: didn't understand that. Now I'm a little boy.
- 25:52Speaker 4: The only thing that's gonna change that man, it's one
- 25:55Speaker 4: of them little girls up at the school. He gonna
- 25:57Speaker 4: discover them girls and he's gonna get the bathe it.
- 26:01Speaker 4: And I remember when Winton first, I had trouble with
- 26:04Speaker 4: Winton like that too, all my son, but Winton went
- 26:08Speaker 4: to school and like this little girl then wenton came
- 26:10Speaker 4: home and saw an axe commercial AXX. That boy that
- 26:17Speaker 4: damn wentnen asked me could he go up to the
- 26:19Speaker 4: CVS with me? He said, Daddy, can I get my
- 26:22Speaker 4: own soap? I said, yeah, he went and got a
- 26:25Speaker 4: can of axe. Because if not he noticed, I just
- 26:29Speaker 4: let him have it. I let him pick out his
- 26:31Speaker 4: own stock. That boy next day for school when he
- 26:36Speaker 4: came down them steps, what happened? It was so much
- 26:40Speaker 4: damn acts in the air.
- 26:43Speaker 1: You were choky, dog.
- 26:45Speaker 2: I was gagging. I said, ma'am, went, where are you
- 26:49Speaker 2: what you got on? That's my axe? Daddy and I
- 26:56Speaker 2: didn't really pay attention to to.
- 26:57Speaker 4: One day I was watching a game and commercial came
- 27:01Speaker 4: on and the boy came out and all the girls
- 27:02Speaker 4: jumped on him and tackling.
- 27:07Speaker 5: Nah.
- 27:07Speaker 4: I got it, And from that moment on, I never
- 27:10Speaker 4: had no problem with Winter or broader it. But let
- 27:14Speaker 4: me tell you that little boy man, he don't care
- 27:16Speaker 4: nothing about that. You wasting time washing? It's a wasted time.
- 27:21Speaker 2: Now.
- 27:22Speaker 4: Tommy was a little different little boy. We thought we
- 27:24Speaker 4: was gonna we thought we was gonna have problems with him.
- 27:27Speaker 2: My daddy.
- 27:28Speaker 4: Actually, you know, he was extra clean his whole life. Yeah, yeah,
- 27:33Speaker 4: my daddy thought something was wrong with him.
- 27:36Speaker 2: There's nothing wrong with me. I'm just a neat freak.
- 27:39Speaker 2: I'm just a German. He just like well, you know,
- 27:42Speaker 2: he wasn't like none of the other boys. So we hey, hey, yeah,
- 27:47Speaker 2: moving on.
- 27:51Speaker 4: I should have known then we was headed right on
- 27:53Speaker 4: over there. This sweet new I knew it. This babing
- 27:59Speaker 4: and all this.
- 28:03Speaker 9: All right? Last one, Steve Regina in text Trcana says,
- 28:08Speaker 9: I've been dating a man for three weeks and he
- 28:10Speaker 9: lied and said he was a doctor. Last night he
- 28:14Speaker 9: admitted that he lied, and he doesn't work at all
- 28:17Speaker 9: because he's disabled. He wouldn't tell me what his disability is.
- 28:21Speaker 9: And would it be shallow to stop seeing him? No?
- 28:27Speaker 2: What he ain't working? That ain't that ain't being shallow.
- 28:33Speaker 2: I went from a doctor, eight years of school, medical school.
- 28:38Speaker 2: I ain't even got a job.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Where was this lie?
- 28:41Speaker 5: What was where was his lie?
- 28:42Speaker 2: Playing it on going?
- 28:45Speaker 12: I wish the hell hell no you in Texa, everybody
- 28:48Speaker 12: know her about all right? Thank you, Celo.
- 28:52Speaker 9: Coming up next it is Steen's former interior designer Michel Welch.
- 28:57Speaker 9: Right after this, you're listening hard morning show. All right,
- 29:03Speaker 9: this morning, our special guest is interior designer and owner
- 29:08Speaker 9: and CEO of mkel Welch Designs. Mckel met Steve back
- 29:12Speaker 9: in Chicago when Steve had his talk show. We all
- 29:15Speaker 9: remember that mckel designed Steve's private dressing room for three
- 29:19Speaker 9: whole seasons and he was set designer for the show
- 29:22Speaker 9: as well. Now, McHale is currently the resident designer for
- 29:26Speaker 9: the The Drew Barrymore Show and his interior design work
- 29:31Speaker 9: has been featured in featured in all the top design magazines,
- 29:34Speaker 9: Architectural Digest, Traditional Home, el Decor magazines, and his newest
- 29:40Speaker 9: TV project is Netflix Hack My Home series where he's
- 29:44Speaker 9: the interior designer of the crew. So we got to
- 29:47Speaker 9: find more more about this show. Please welcome mcel Welch, Mkel.
- 29:58Speaker 2: Morning. Michale Welch.
- 30:04Speaker 4: Welch is the only and the thing we have in
- 30:07Speaker 4: comedy is his last name is Welch, which is where
- 30:11Speaker 4: I was born in Welch, West Virginia.
- 30:16Speaker 2: That's it.
- 30:17Speaker 4: So we had my country ass got a make over
- 30:20Speaker 4: in my dressing room for three years in Chicago.
- 30:24Speaker 2: He did an amazing job.
- 30:25Speaker 4: He's been on My TV show several times and now
- 30:27Speaker 4: he didn't hit it big congregulations, Michel.
- 30:31Speaker 3: Sir Harvey, thank you so much, thank you, thank you
- 30:35Speaker 3: to the whole Morning the Morning crew here.
- 30:38Speaker 9: But yeah, it's.
- 30:40Speaker 3: Happening, mister Harvey. You it is, had a platform and
- 30:43Speaker 3: it has been going since.
- 30:45Speaker 2: Well, well you've been jumping it off.
- 30:46Speaker 8: You know.
- 30:47Speaker 4: I'm back on the show now because I got uninvited
- 30:49Speaker 4: off my own show this morning by my cast me
- 30:53Speaker 4: on the show because I have attitude problem. I decided
- 30:57Speaker 4: to come back in on the show just to introduce
- 30:59Speaker 4: you why I appreciated it. Well, I've had a lot
- 31:02Speaker 4: of haters on my show.
- 31:07Speaker 2: And I will you.
- 31:09Speaker 4: So go ahead, ladies, let's just start. Let's tell them
- 31:12Speaker 4: all about this Netflix.
- 31:13Speaker 9: Well, we want to we want to hear about your
- 31:15Speaker 9: your new show, Hack My Home. It's Netflix's newest renovation show,
- 31:20Speaker 9: just eight episodes of family. So tell us about it, Michel.
- 31:24Speaker 3: Yeah, so you know what this show is unlike any
- 31:26Speaker 3: other show that I worked on, So kind of think of,
- 31:29Speaker 3: like if I had to put it into Layman's terms,
- 31:31Speaker 3: like think of like back in the day when George
- 31:34Speaker 3: Jetson used to have things that came out of the ceiling,
- 31:37Speaker 3: out of the wall, on the floor. We kind of
- 31:39Speaker 3: think of unconventional methods to redesign our spaces and so
- 31:43Speaker 3: you never really know where the source solutions are going
- 31:46Speaker 3: to come from. And that's where we get the term
- 31:48Speaker 3: hack my home.
- 31:49Speaker 1: It's to try to make it, you know, as a.
- 31:51Speaker 3: Functional as possible, but we're using some really innovative technology
- 31:56Speaker 3: in order to do.
- 31:57Speaker 1: So that's cool, that's interesting.
- 31:59Speaker 3: I like, yeah, it's a completely different concept. You know,
- 32:04Speaker 3: it's not gonna be your Cookie Cutter or makeover show
- 32:06Speaker 3: where it's it's like, oh, we tear down a pretty
- 32:08Speaker 3: wall and now you have a beautiful space. It's like, no, honey,
- 32:12Speaker 3: we're gonna do something a little bit different. So uh yeah,
- 32:15Speaker 3: this one I think is gonna surprise people just the
- 32:18Speaker 3: way we reimagine these spaces and you know, give people
- 32:24Speaker 3: store solutions that are really hitting within their home.
- 32:27Speaker 9: I made you at my house.
- 32:30Speaker 2: Well I was gonna ask Michael. I like the word hack,
- 32:32Speaker 2: hack my home. That's a big thing.
- 32:34Speaker 7: Now people are teaching you different kinds of hacks.
- 32:39Speaker 1: So that is like this cool concept. So you know,
- 32:43Speaker 1: what was it like to work with?
- 32:45Speaker 7: So you have a diverse group of creative people because
- 32:48Speaker 7: you got to be creative to come up with hacks.
- 32:49Speaker 5: Yeah, you follow these So what was that like.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Like look at it and you come up with the
- 32:54Speaker 1: hack or how.
- 32:55Speaker 2: Does that work?
- 32:56Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 32:56Speaker 3: So you know the fun part about this show is
- 32:59Speaker 3: everybody comes to the table with something different. Like Brooks
- 33:02Speaker 3: is in charge of innovation. You know, he's gonna come
- 33:05Speaker 3: through with all these crazy wacky ideas. And then I
- 33:09Speaker 3: see as our engineer. So she'll sit down and she'll say,
- 33:12Speaker 3: wait a minute, Okay, these ideas are great, but let's
- 33:14Speaker 3: see how we can like functionally do it without like
- 33:18Speaker 3: the city call and let's tell us that somebody's house
- 33:20Speaker 3: is gonna fall down, and so that part, like, you know,
- 33:24Speaker 3: you don't want that to happen. And then Jessica comes in.
- 33:26Speaker 3: She's like our engineer, and you know when she comes in,
- 33:30Speaker 3: she just makes sure everything is structurally found. And then
- 33:33Speaker 3: I come in and kind of like whirl around with
- 33:35Speaker 3: my design magic and faery does you know, kind of
- 33:38Speaker 3: put it all together and make it look good. But
- 33:41Speaker 3: and you can see everything come together, yes, sir.
- 33:44Speaker 4: So people can get a real understanding. Give me an
- 33:47Speaker 4: example of a hack.
- 33:49Speaker 3: So a perfect example of a hack. Let's say you
- 33:52Speaker 3: needed extra storage in your kitchen, right you got poss
- 33:55Speaker 3: and hands everywhere. You don't have any more space up
- 33:57Speaker 3: under your kitchen cabinet. We will build something that will recess,
- 34:02Speaker 3: for instance, out of the ceiling where you can hang
- 34:06Speaker 3: all of your pots and hands. It goes back up
- 34:07Speaker 3: to the ceiling and never nobody even.
- 34:10Speaker 1: Knows that it was ever there.
- 34:11Speaker 3: And so you get a little button and it comes
- 34:13Speaker 3: back down and now is you know, hidden, and you
- 34:16Speaker 3: can grab everything that you need and it goes right
- 34:18Speaker 3: back up. So that's an example of a hack. So
- 34:21Speaker 3: it's not because I know you, so you don't like
- 34:23Speaker 3: things that look cheap, and so here's one of those
- 34:26Speaker 3: shows when I know you don't and so I think
- 34:29Speaker 3: somebody like you appreciate it because we created things that
- 34:32Speaker 3: look good.
- 34:33Speaker 1: And they don't look cheesy.
- 34:35Speaker 3: Likes the real solutions, so they don't look cheese.
- 34:38Speaker 2: You like Junior.
- 34:39Speaker 4: Junior got a brand new house, Yes, and he needs
- 34:44Speaker 4: some hacks everything, a lot of them, a lot of them.
- 34:48Speaker 2: This seasoning to come out the flow? Can you get
- 34:51Speaker 2: his seasoning for his cooking?
- 34:55Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 34:55Speaker 3: I don't think you wanted this season song coming out
- 34:57Speaker 3: the flow, But you know we'll put it in the
- 34:59Speaker 3: wall and we'll help them that way. But yeah, I'm
- 35:01Speaker 3: getting Seriously, it's one of those things where once you
- 35:04Speaker 3: see it in person, the hack that we have and
- 35:06Speaker 3: really solutions, hacks are just solutions. They're just hitting solutions,
- 35:10Speaker 3: and we're giving people hitting solutions to help save their lot.
- 35:13Speaker 9: All right, Michael, we can't wait to watch Hack My Home,
- 35:17Speaker 9: your brand new serial house. It premiere is Friday, July
- 35:20Speaker 9: seventh on Netflix. It sounds great. We love you, We
- 35:24Speaker 9: know you're a great designer, and we will be watching

- 46:36Speaker 10: think that there's anything wrong with you. I don't think
- 46:39Speaker 10: that you have a problem. I think that there's something
- 46:41Speaker 10: that you deliberately did in one of our stores.
- 46:45Speaker 6: I could cure less about what you think what happened
- 46:48Speaker 6: was that was on the floor. I feel I'm a

- 47:49Speaker 10: in the middle of the.
- 47:50Speaker 2: Floor as if you have.

- 48:08Speaker 10: sure that you understand. I want to make sure that
- 48:10Speaker 10: you understand that this is not something that you can
- 48:15Speaker 10: do or continue to do.
- 48:17Speaker 2: Now. I want to hear it out of your mouth.
- 48:18Speaker 2: You tell me, did you lay down on that floor deliberately?

- 53:44Speaker 9: could be yours.
- 53:46Speaker 2: It could be yours. Buckle up and hold on tight.
- 53:48Speaker 2: We got it for you.
- 53:49Speaker 4: Here.
- 53:49Speaker 2: It is Strawberry Letter.
- 53:51Speaker 9: Thank you nephew. Subject there's no emotion in his motions.
- 53:56Speaker 9: Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm forty seven and my husband forty
- 54:00Speaker 9: nine years old. We have twin daughters that are seniors
- 54:03Speaker 9: in high school next year and then we'll be empty nesters.
- 54:07Speaker 9: Our daughters are professional dancers and one will be moving
- 54:10Speaker 9: to New York to do ballet and the other one
- 54:13Speaker 9: will be on tour with a pop star. My daughter's
- 54:16Speaker 9: lives are way more interesting than mine, and I wish
- 54:19Speaker 9: I could go away with them. And the last year,
- 54:22Speaker 9: all of the pizazz has seeped out of my marriage,
- 54:26Speaker 9: and my husband comes home from work and barely speaks
- 54:29Speaker 9: some days. I've talked to him about depression and he
- 54:32Speaker 9: says nothing's wrong with him. I asked him if we're
- 54:35Speaker 9: having financial problems, and that's not it because I did
- 54:39Speaker 9: a little research for myself. I asked him about our
- 54:42Speaker 9: summer travel plans to New York so our daughters can visit,
- 54:45Speaker 9: and he says he may not be able to go.
- 54:47Speaker 9: But that's not what has me worried the most. It's
- 54:50Speaker 9: how cold he treats me while we're being intimate. He
- 54:54Speaker 9: doesn't put any emotion in his motions like.
- 54:57Speaker 2: He used to.
- 54:58Speaker 9: It's like wham bam, thank you man, and he falls asleep.
- 55:01Speaker 9: He doesn't kiss me, and he stopped me from doing
- 55:04Speaker 9: the pregame activities that he used to love. The last
- 55:07Speaker 9: time we had sex was twenty two days ago, and
- 55:11Speaker 9: he told me to hurry up and finish because he'd
- 55:13Speaker 9: had a long day. When I work from home two
- 55:16Speaker 9: days a week, he used to come home during the
- 55:18Speaker 9: day and take me up, but he stopped doing that.
- 55:21Speaker 9: How can a man go from passionate kisses and love
- 55:24Speaker 9: making to a few quickies here and there, after twenty
- 55:27Speaker 9: two years of being together, he has changed and I
- 55:30Speaker 9: can't even imagine him cheating on me. I don't want
- 55:34Speaker 9: to be a nagger, but is it cool to ask
- 55:37Speaker 9: him if he's sing another woman as his wife? You've
- 55:41Speaker 9: got to know that you can ask your husband anything,
- 55:44Speaker 9: even if he's sing another woman.
- 55:46Speaker 5: I mean.
- 55:46Speaker 9: The problem with that is are you going to be
- 55:49Speaker 9: ready for his answer? If it's yet or whatever it is.
- 55:52Speaker 9: It could be the truth, it could be a lie,
- 55:54Speaker 9: it could be nothing at all. He may not answer
- 55:57Speaker 9: you at all. You say that, you know he hardly
- 55:59Speaker 9: speaks to you. Sometimes his response could be with anger, disrespect,
- 56:04Speaker 9: or in his case, just no emotion at all. Clearly
- 56:08Speaker 9: your marriage is in some serious trouble here. I mean,
- 56:11Speaker 9: he's barely talking to you, is very cold to you
- 56:14Speaker 9: during your time in the bedroom. He has changed and
- 56:18Speaker 9: it is not for the better. What information did you
- 56:22Speaker 9: leave out of this letter? Because these things usually happen
- 56:25Speaker 9: gradually and not all of a sudden. Now, just like that,
- 56:29Speaker 9: he no longer finds you attractive. He's rushing you during intimacy.
- 56:34Speaker 9: I think something has happened and you need to find
- 56:36Speaker 9: out what it is. It could be another woman. It
- 56:39Speaker 9: could be depression, it could be any of those things.
- 56:41Speaker 2: You can't be.
- 56:42Speaker 9: Afraid to ask him though what it is and do
- 56:45Speaker 9: your own research. You've done your own research into your finances,
- 56:49Speaker 9: so you can do research into that. Don't just give
- 56:51Speaker 9: up and do nothing. You gotta talk to him. You
- 56:54Speaker 9: gotta have a conversation with him. It's not nagging. You
- 56:57Speaker 9: definitely need to know what's going on in your average Steve.
- 57:02Speaker 2: Uh This letter here is just it's about change.
- 57:06Speaker 4: It's about lack of communication, it's about uh see, here's
- 57:11Speaker 4: what happens in marriage, especially when you've been.
- 57:15Speaker 2: Married for some years.
- 57:17Speaker 4: When you're getting married after a while, everybody changes. Everybody changes.
- 57:24Speaker 4: Nobody stays the same. You may be a subtle change
- 57:27Speaker 4: that you don't recognize, but everybody change. The problem is
- 57:30Speaker 4: that people that you change in two those two people
- 57:34Speaker 4: still have to like the person that they've become. So
- 57:38Speaker 4: what has happened is what y'all used to be. Y'all
- 57:40Speaker 4: ain't no more. He used to be passionate.
- 57:43Speaker 2: He ain't no more.
- 57:44Speaker 4: But I got news for you somewhere in this letter,
- 57:46Speaker 4: you're leaving out a lot of information because something you
- 57:49Speaker 4: used to do. You ain't doing no more something you
- 57:52Speaker 4: used to be, you ain't being no more.
- 57:55Speaker 2: Now.
- 57:55Speaker 4: What happens in marriage is this can happen rather quickly
- 57:58Speaker 4: if you're not careful, because it can happen to newlyweds
- 58:02Speaker 4: when you're not communicating. I tell people all the time,
- 58:07Speaker 4: first thing you could do when you get married. What
- 58:09Speaker 4: I had to learn the hard way was to form
- 58:11Speaker 4: a two handed circle. I had to learn that the
- 58:14Speaker 4: hard way. When you allow other people in with their
- 58:17Speaker 4: opinions thoughts that they don't have all the inside information,
- 58:22Speaker 4: all of their information and advice, gonna be bad.
- 58:24Speaker 2: It's gonna be wrong because it ain't filtered in all
- 58:27Speaker 2: the fact.
- 58:28Speaker 4: Plus, now you all have twin daughters who have all
- 58:30Speaker 4: gone off and graduated high school, and their professional dancers,
- 58:34Speaker 4: ones that go to be in New York to be
- 58:35Speaker 4: a ballet dancer, and the other background dancer for pop stars. Okay,
- 58:41Speaker 4: but now y'all empty nesters. Okay, Well, y'a out, ain't
- 58:45Speaker 4: no more distractions.
- 58:47Speaker 2: It's just you and him. That's what happened when COVID hit.
- 58:51Speaker 4: COVID broke up a lot of relationships because the distraction
- 58:57Speaker 4: was gone. Going to work was gone, staying that happy
- 59:01Speaker 4: hour was gone, moving around, going to the gym was gone.
- 59:05Speaker 4: Everybody was just at home, and you discovered, Lord, have mercy.
- 59:13Speaker 2: I needed all them distractions because.
- 59:17Speaker 4: Now it's just me and huh, it's just you and
- 59:22Speaker 4: the hill and a lot of people discovering something they
- 59:25Speaker 4: ain't like each other. Do you know that you could
- 59:28Speaker 4: love a person but not likely? Here's another fact. You
- 59:33Speaker 4: can be in love with the wrong person.
- 59:39Speaker 5: Uh.
- 59:39Speaker 4: Oh, anybody hear what I said? I said you can
- 59:45Speaker 4: be in love with the wrong person.
- 59:49Speaker 9: Yeah, I've been there.
- 59:50Speaker 4: Yeah, it happens all the time. Seen that movie, so
- 59:57Speaker 4: welcome to the movies. We've all seen it. I know
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: how this one ends when we come back. Here's my prediction.
- 1:00:06Speaker 9: All right, coming up a twenty three minutes after the hour,
- 1:00:11Speaker 9: we'll have more of Steve's response, Part two of Today's
- 1:00:14Speaker 9: Strawberry Letter. There is no emotion in his motions. Right
- 1:00:18Speaker 9: after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:00:22Speaker 9: come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter. And the
- 1:00:26Speaker 9: subject is there's no emotion in his motions.
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: Ain't no emotion in his emotions? No emotions in his motions?
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: Because the ain't no emotions in the relationship. Something has happened.
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: The two people that you all when you all first married.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: How many years have they been married? Twenty two Steve,
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: twenty two years ago.
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: The two of you are totally different people now. I
- 1:00:51Speaker 4: don't know anybody just the same as they were twenty
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: two years ago. I don't know anybody. Time change is people.
- 1:00:59Speaker 4: Time change all people now the people that the two
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: of you have become through the lack of communication, you
- 1:01:06Speaker 4: may be discovering that the two of you don't even
- 1:01:09Speaker 4: like each other. Now he's made it obviously clear that
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: he don't like you. According to this letter. He don't
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: talk to you when he come in from work. He
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: barely speaks to you. Someday you've talked to him about depression.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: He say, ain't nothing wrong with him.
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: Then you ask him if y'all having financial problem, and
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: that ain't it because you did some research for yourself, Okay.
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: Then you ask him about y'all summer plans to go
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: see these twin daughters y'all, guy, who are both dancers.
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: One of them is a ballet and the other one
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: dance for a pop star. So they can visit their daughters.
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: He said, he may not be able to go. But
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: the problem you got is how cold he treats you
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: when you all are entey. He don't put any emotion
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: in his motions like he used to. Is like wam bam,
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: thank you ma'am, and he falls asleep.
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: Don't kiss me.
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: And he stopped me from doing the pregame activities that
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: he used to love.
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: Don't do that. Stop. I don't need that.
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: Come on this here, hell, come on, come on, come on,
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: come on, I don't need all that. I'm ready, let's go,
- 1:02:11Speaker 4: let's do it. Wow man, No, no, this is what
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: you're doing. What you're finna do. I don't even like
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: that no more. Come on, baby, come on, come on,
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: get up, get up?
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: Come on?
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: What in I don't ever remember saying that in my life.
- 1:02:31Speaker 4: I've never said these words get up, don't do that.
- 1:02:35Speaker 4: I've never said.
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: In my whole damn.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: Six years get up.
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: That. I never never said that. I stopped a lot
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: of things in my life, but I have never ever
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: said get up, don't do that to me. Ever.
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: Something is wrong here, Yeah, something's horribly wrong. He don't
- 1:03:12Speaker 4: kiss you no more. The last time we had sex
- 1:03:16Speaker 4: was twenty two days ago. Now that he forty seven,
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: don't worry about that. Them days gonna stretch out way
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: longer than now. They're gonna be some twenty two You're
- 1:03:25Speaker 4: gonna see some twenty twos. You're gonna put a two
- 1:03:27Speaker 4: in a foe in front of him. Sometimes there're gonna
- 1:03:29Speaker 4: be some days.
- 1:03:32Speaker 6: Uh.
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: And then he told me to hear him finish because
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: he had a long day. Ooh, that's cold.
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: When I worked from home too. I used to when
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: I work from home two days a week. He used
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: to come home during the day and tighten me up.
- 1:03:45Speaker 4: But he don stop doing that. How can a man
- 1:03:48Speaker 4: go from passing the kisses of love make it to
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: a few quickies here and now for twenty two years
- 1:03:52Speaker 4: of being together? Twenty two years is the key. Things
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: have changed. And it's been like this for Wow, lady,
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: just ain't just started happening. See you telling us the
- 1:04:05Speaker 4: last time y'all had sex with twenty two days, but
- 1:04:08Speaker 4: you ain't saying how many times you had it in
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: the twenty two days prior to that. I'm telling you
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: this has been happening. He has changed and I can't
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: even imagine him cheating on me or you can't. Okay,
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: glad you can't. I don't want to be a naggar.
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: But is it cool to ask him if he's seeing
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: another woman? Well, lady, let me ask you a question.
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: That's a dumb ask question to ask him he because
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: what do you think he gonna say? I have not
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: heard a woman asked her husband, are you seeing somebody else?
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: And he said, wow, it's funny, you asked, as a
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: matter of fact, I am I beat damn yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: So what's for dinner?
- 1:04:55Speaker 4: You think that he can tell you that? Now that
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: may not be the case, But what does your intuition
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: tell you? But I can tell you right now. If
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: y'all don't hurry up and have some conversations about the
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: real issue, this is over. This is over because the
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: distractions in your life are gone. Them two kids is off, y'all.
- 1:05:17Speaker 4: Empty ness is it's just you and him. See, you
- 1:05:20Speaker 4: haven't noticed it. But when the kids was there, he
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: didn't have to talk to you all the time because
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: the kids was there, and the subject y'all talked about
- 1:05:27Speaker 4: a lot of time was the kids. When you remove
- 1:05:30Speaker 4: the subject of children, daycare, college tuition, helping the kids,
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: when you remove that conversation.
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: It's you and you.
- 1:05:43Speaker 4: And y'all need them distractions back. COVID broke up a
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: lot of families. Empty nesters break up a lot of family.
- 1:05:50Speaker 4: But it could be your opportunity to find what you
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: really need. It could be his opportunity too. Maybe y'all
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: have grown apart. But if y'all don't hurry up and
- 1:05:59Speaker 4: talk this out and find out get to the core
- 1:06:02Speaker 4: of the problem.
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: And I'm gonna tell you something else.
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: Too, lady. You are not what you used to be
- 1:06:07Speaker 4: twenty two years ago. So as you point the finger
- 1:06:11Speaker 4: at what he ain't doing no more, and you're gonna
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: have to go to counseling and take a look at
- 1:06:16Speaker 4: what's happening here. Because when you point your finger, remember
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: three of them fingers to point back at you and
- 1:06:23Speaker 4: your thumb here too.
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: So that's really fun. All right.

- 1:06:44Speaker 9: now for junior and sports talk? What you got junior?
- 1:06:47Speaker 14: Not today, I need help today, share not not today,

- 1:06:55Speaker 1: Yeah we got a drought anyway. But let me ask
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: you this. Uh you can be married seventeen years tomorrow.
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: Uh huh yeah, okay, Now you remember your first anniversary? Yeah, okay,
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: mine's coming up.
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: I know exactly where it was.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: What did you do for your first one?
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: I was in south of France.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: Okay, you're not gonna get that. Okay, So what's so

- 1:07:16Speaker 8: Man?
- 1:07:17Speaker 4: South of France? That was her dream was to go
- 1:07:19Speaker 4: to the to go to Nice and go to the
- 1:07:24Speaker 4: Eden Rock Hotel. She had read about it. That was
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: her dream for years.
- 1:07:31Speaker 14: I'm not taking my wife to South frank Well, that
- 1:07:34Speaker 14: ain't her dream, okay.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: But but South Florida sound good?

- 1:07:46Speaker 2: Well, let me ask the question, what has she always
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: wanted to do?
- 1:07:50Speaker 10: The reason?

- 1:08:00Speaker 4: I'm gonna tell you right now, it costs more money
- 1:08:02Speaker 4: to go to boy Board than to do the South
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: of France. You can get the pass from Atlanta in
- 1:08:06Speaker 4: eight hours, boy boy, boy boy from l a is
- 1:08:10Speaker 4: seventeen hours.
- 1:08:11Speaker 10: What.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: Yeah, it ain't in the Caribbean.

- 1:08:20Speaker 2: I'm gonna do.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna give her new vision.
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: You thought it was in the Caribbeans, Yeah, bor Bor.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: Yeah, that's where I thought it was, right there, to

- 1:08:33Speaker 1: I thought right next door to each other. You mean
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: tell me it's seventeen hours?
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: Dog?
- 1:08:37Speaker 4: Do you know you have to stop in I think
- 1:08:39Speaker 4: it's highland? Really yeah, you can't just straight the board,
- 1:08:43Speaker 4: but right, yeah, man, you gotta stop in ta heating.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: Okay, Well, well she's gonna get a new vision. That's
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: what she's gonna get.
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: You ain't gonna be married long though. Why did you ask?
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: Because dog, No keeps saying that.
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: Look at what he keeps saying.
- 1:09:01Speaker 5: What am I saying?
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: It's wrong everything you keep saying. She ain't finna kint
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: what you keep saying? What she ain't gonna get?

- 1:09:14Speaker 4: I'm sorry, junior what I'm from the old school.

- 1:09:51Speaker 9: talk about that right after this. You're listening morning show,
- 1:09:58Speaker 9: all right? So Rapper C recently initiated a search for
- 1:10:02Speaker 9: a former acquaintance of his from high school. Q Tip
- 1:10:05Speaker 9: is fifty three years old now, and last week he
- 1:10:08Speaker 9: posted a message on Twitter looking for a girl that
- 1:10:11Speaker 9: he went to a concert with back in the ninth grade.
- 1:10:14Speaker 9: He said, quote, there was a girl I went to
- 1:10:16Speaker 9: high school with. Her name was Pamela Sweat. We went
- 1:10:19Speaker 9: to a Prince concert in the ninth grade. So Pam,
- 1:10:22Speaker 9: if you're out there, I'd love to know you are well.
- 1:10:26Speaker 9: I think of you often. Social media investigators then got
- 1:10:31Speaker 9: on the case and found an old graduation picture of
- 1:10:34Speaker 9: Pam Sweat. Then they found Pam's Instagram account and a
- 1:10:37Speaker 9: more recent picture of her from April of this year.
- 1:10:40Speaker 9: Q Tip confirmed it was Pam by responding yes to
- 1:10:45Speaker 9: the graduation picture, and then he posted Pam under Pam's
- 1:10:49Speaker 9: last Instagram post. We wish him the best of luck
- 1:10:52Speaker 9: on reuniting with Pam. And to the guys, I have
- 1:10:56Speaker 9: to ask you, is there anyone from your past if
- 1:10:58Speaker 9: you think of often and wouldn't mind reuniting with, just
- 1:11:01Speaker 9: like Q Tippy.
- 1:11:02Speaker 4: Well, I'm just based on this picture right here, Q Tip,

- 1:11:43Speaker 2: I don't know what Q Tip thought. He was sitting
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: fine Cotton Swab said, I tell you.
- 1:11:53Speaker 10: What, Cam, Yeah, I'd like to find a homeboy man

- 1:20:17Speaker 9: with special guests this week.
- 1:20:20Speaker 4: Yeah, let me give you some closed remarks something I
- 1:20:23Speaker 4: was thinking about. Oftentimes I get asked this question. They say, Steve,
- 1:20:29Speaker 4: how do you stay motivated? Or they say, Steve, what
- 1:20:34Speaker 4: is your motivation? What drives you? What keeps you turning
- 1:20:40Speaker 4: the wheels? I mean, year after year after year, you
- 1:20:46Speaker 4: just keep on going?
- 1:20:48Speaker 5: Man?
- 1:20:48Speaker 8: What is it?
- 1:20:50Speaker 2: And you know what, It's really simple, everybody, And this
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: is something you can do too.
- 1:20:59Speaker 5: You know, my whole.
- 1:21:00Speaker 4: Motivation is the thing that drives me. I just never
- 1:21:05Speaker 4: I just never stopped dreaming. I've never stopped. I'm always dreaming,
- 1:21:14Speaker 4: I'm always having visions, I'm always looking at something else,
- 1:21:20Speaker 4: I'm always seeing more.
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: I just never stopped dreaming.
- 1:21:28Speaker 4: And here's the thing about dreaming, folks, it ain't ever
- 1:21:32Speaker 4: too late to dream. If you stopped for whatever reason
- 1:21:36Speaker 4: because the one you wanted to happen didn't come true,
- 1:21:40Speaker 4: you probably stopped too early.
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: I know way too many people who have given up.
- 1:21:51Speaker 4: When they might have captured the Victor's cup, and they
- 1:21:55Speaker 4: learned too late when the night came down, how close
- 1:21:59Speaker 4: they were to the old and crown.
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: I know too many people who've lived that stands of
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: that poem. Don't quit.
- 1:22:07Speaker 4: I know people, man, who if they had just dug
- 1:22:09Speaker 4: a little bit deeper, they'd have struck all. If they
- 1:22:12Speaker 4: had just dug a little bit longer, they'd have uncovered
- 1:22:14Speaker 4: the diamonds. If they'd just hung in that man, God
- 1:22:18Speaker 4: was just getting ready to turn on the light switch.
- 1:22:21Speaker 4: But people give up. If you've been in that position,
- 1:22:26Speaker 4: it's never too late to restart. You're never too old
- 1:22:30Speaker 4: to dream. You're never too young to dream. Listen to me, man,
- 1:22:34Speaker 4: with God, prayer, faith and work, you need all of
- 1:22:38Speaker 4: these Now you need God, you need prayer, you need faith,
- 1:22:43Speaker 4: and you got to be willing to put into work.
- 1:22:45Speaker 4: If you use those four things, all things are possible.
- 1:22:51Speaker 4: All things are possible. One of the things that I'm
- 1:22:54Speaker 4: about to sit down and do this week because normally
- 1:22:57Speaker 4: I have my son redo my vision board. But you
- 1:23:01Speaker 4: know what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna sit down on
- 1:23:03Speaker 4: the computer and I'm gonna learn how to do my
- 1:23:05Speaker 4: own because man, I've been having some new dreams. I've
- 1:23:10Speaker 4: been having some new visions and I can't wait for
- 1:23:13Speaker 4: my son to get available, for him to put it
- 1:23:15Speaker 4: on them spreadsheet and then turn it into a photo
- 1:23:19Speaker 4: and then turn it into my wallpaper so I can
- 1:23:22Speaker 4: make it my home screen.
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: My phone has been empty now for two months.
- 1:23:29Speaker 4: I'm finn stop that because I was looking at my
- 1:23:32Speaker 4: life the other day and everything I've ever asked him
- 1:23:37Speaker 4: for came true. Do you know, man, One of the
- 1:23:41Speaker 4: things I was asking God for was I wanted to
- 1:23:44Speaker 4: increase my reach with people. I wanted to be able
- 1:23:47Speaker 4: to help more boys and girls. I wanted our foundation
- 1:23:50Speaker 4: to extend itself. So hard for me to get to
- 1:23:54Speaker 4: my ranch in Dallas. That's a two and a half
- 1:23:57Speaker 4: hour flight. So now you know how that got it go.
- 1:24:02Speaker 4: You want to go to the ranch, you gotta go
- 1:24:03Speaker 4: get on plane for two and a half hour. So
- 1:24:07Speaker 4: my prayer was, God, I want to find me about
- 1:24:10Speaker 4: three hundred acres and I want that three hundred acres
- 1:24:14Speaker 4: to be within an hour and a half from my house.
- 1:24:17Speaker 4: And I put that on the vision board about five
- 1:24:19Speaker 4: years ago, six years ago, and without even realizing it,
- 1:24:27Speaker 4: God gave me that plus more.
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: He didn't give me three hundred. He gave me sixteen hundred.
- 1:24:37Speaker 2: He didn't make it an hour and a half from
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: the house, he made it an hour fifteen. He even
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: shortened the trip for me.
- 1:24:45Speaker 4: God will do exceedingly and abundantly over all that you
- 1:24:51Speaker 4: think or ask. If you just have faith in help, y'all,
- 1:24:57Speaker 4: it's never too late to dream God is and to
- 1:25:00Speaker 4: make your dream come true. Business I'm telling y'all, man,
- 1:25:04Speaker 4: let me tell you something. Your life ain't in trouble
- 1:25:07Speaker 4: if you don't have an education. Now you're gonna create
- 1:25:11Speaker 4: some difficulties without an education. You can believe that and
- 1:25:15Speaker 4: hat soft to everybody that's a lawyer, a dentist, a doctor,
- 1:25:20Speaker 4: an engineer, an architect, hat soft to all of you
- 1:25:25Speaker 4: in corporate America who have gotten yourself educated and clined
- 1:25:29Speaker 4: the corporate letter. I can't tell you how I applaud you, man,
- 1:25:32Speaker 4: because you did something I just seemingly was unable to do.
- 1:25:37Speaker 4: But the one thing I always was able to do
- 1:25:40Speaker 4: was dream, and so I kept my dreams alive without
- 1:25:44Speaker 4: the education. Now without the education, because I haven't read
- 1:25:49Speaker 4: that in the Bible, but I have read that a
- 1:25:52Speaker 4: man without a dream or vision shall perish. And even
- 1:25:56Speaker 4: people with educations, guess what they dreamed of getting that degree.
- 1:26:00Speaker 4: They dreamed of walking and getting that paper, and so
- 1:26:03Speaker 4: many have done it this year. Congratulations, But they dreamed
- 1:26:06Speaker 4: of that. A man without a dream of visions shall perish.
- 1:26:10Speaker 4: Get back on them dreams, y'all, start dreaming again, Start
- 1:26:14Speaker 4: praying again, start talking to God. Have some faith and
- 1:26:18Speaker 4: put in some work, and let God make your dreams
- 1:26:21Speaker 4: some truth too. Y'all have a great one.
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: Talk to God.
