- 1:06Speaker 5: Love?
- 1:06Speaker 6: You turn?
- 1:24Speaker 3: You gotta turn. You got to turn the mouth.
- 1:42Speaker 4: Turn you probably got to turn the mouth, turn out
- 1:46Speaker 4: the water, the mony jump. Look, come.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Come on, you'll think I said, well, good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 2: You are listening to the voice. Come on, dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 2: run and on it. Steve Harvey got a radio show
- 2:13Speaker 2: man or man o man. I thank God for it.
- 2:17Speaker 2: I thank God for all he's done for me, for
- 2:21Speaker 2: all the little things that I oftentimes failed to thank
- 2:25Speaker 2: him for that I take for granted for you know,
- 2:30Speaker 2: I was talking the other day to a buddy of mine.
- 2:35Speaker 2: We had gotten to this conversation about God and and
- 2:41Speaker 2: in the conversation we had narrowed it down and we
- 2:43Speaker 2: were talking about changing the way we are as people.
- 2:47Speaker 2: You know that everybody has to change. You know, nothing
- 2:51Speaker 2: stays the same. Everybody changes, and a lot of these
- 2:56Speaker 2: changes can be for the good, and a lot of
- 2:58Speaker 2: them are just they just come with time. You know,
- 3:01Speaker 2: sometimes it's aging that changes us. But no matter how
- 3:05Speaker 2: old you get, you still have the ability to improve
- 3:11Speaker 2: as a person. You may not have the foot speed
- 3:14Speaker 2: you used to have. You may not be as agile
- 3:18Speaker 2: as you used to be. Your energy level may not
- 3:23Speaker 2: be what it used to be. Your desire to do
- 3:28Speaker 2: some of the things that you used to do may
- 3:30Speaker 2: be gone. The thing that doesn't have to change and
- 3:38Speaker 2: will not change is you. You have the ability to
- 3:43Speaker 2: continue to grow as a person even when far the
- 3:50Speaker 2: time and nature has taken its course. We were talking
- 3:56Speaker 2: about everybody can change and everybody has uh the right
- 4:06Speaker 2: to reinvent themselves as they get older, and I equated
- 4:12Speaker 2: it to jumping out of an airplane. You know, there
- 4:16Speaker 2: are some people man who get to a certain point
- 4:18Speaker 2: in their life and they and they jump from the
- 4:21Speaker 2: airplane is now almost a stunt of some kind. It's
- 4:27Speaker 2: almost like they lifed and got out of control. You
- 4:30Speaker 2: ever seen somebody jump out an airplane and the parachute
- 4:34Speaker 2: don't open and they life start and it seems like
- 4:36Speaker 2: they start spinning and tumbling and they can't get it together.
- 4:40Speaker 2: And I've seen some mid air rescues before. But then
- 4:43Speaker 2: there are times when you know when it hasn't worked.
- 4:46Speaker 2: You know, you jump out that airplane, and at first
- 4:50Speaker 2: it's fun. I've never Scott dived before, but I would
- 4:54Speaker 2: imagine when you first jump out of an airplane that
- 4:57Speaker 2: they people describe it as a a sense of being free.
- 5:02Speaker 2: And it's exhilarating when you first jump out the plane.
- 5:06Speaker 2: But if you pull that cord and nothing happens. It
- 5:10Speaker 2: never happened to me, but I can only imagine the
- 5:14Speaker 2: panic that's got to set in because no matter how
- 5:18Speaker 2: fun it was a moment ago, the flying over to
- 5:22Speaker 2: one another, holding hands in the air, the breeze, the descent,
- 5:28Speaker 2: the feeling of all of a sudden, if you reach
- 5:32Speaker 2: for that cord and it's not there, you're suddenly spinning
- 5:36Speaker 2: out of control. And that's what happens in a lot
- 5:39Speaker 2: of people's lives. When you first start your life, you
- 5:43Speaker 2: jump out the plane, You free, You young, you ain't
- 5:45Speaker 2: got nothing to worry about it. But then you get
- 5:47Speaker 2: to a certain point in your life when you go, okay,
- 5:50Speaker 2: I'm gonna pull the cord now. And pulling the cord
- 5:54Speaker 2: is an important thing because here's the analogy my friend
- 5:59Speaker 2: gave me. He said, man, use your mind, like a parachute.
- 6:05Speaker 2: It works better when it's open. Well, see what happens
- 6:10Speaker 2: with a lot of people is they in life. They
- 6:13Speaker 2: jump out the plane and they having this free fall
- 6:20Speaker 2: and it's fun for now. But they get to a
- 6:23Speaker 2: certain point in their life where they got themself in
- 6:25Speaker 2: a situation, or they've had a little bit too much
- 6:28Speaker 2: fun a little bit too long, or you know, they
- 6:30Speaker 2: wasn't open to nothing, and they just did what they
- 6:33Speaker 2: wanted to do, or they started getting involved with drugs
- 6:37Speaker 2: or drinking or started running with the wrong people. See
- 6:39Speaker 2: you jump out the plane. At first, you're free falling
- 6:42Speaker 2: this fun, but then after a minute, man, something happens
- 6:45Speaker 2: and they realize whoa and they reach for the cord,
- 6:47Speaker 2: and the chord don't work. Well. Now you're in the
- 6:50Speaker 2: panic stricken situation. And my suggesting that what I've learned
- 6:54Speaker 2: from the analogy that my friends shared with me is
- 6:57Speaker 2: that we all the sooner we can open our minds
- 7:00Speaker 2: to God, the sooner we could develop that relationship with him.
- 7:06Speaker 2: It's like pulling the chord and opening a parachute. If
- 7:10Speaker 2: you open up your mind to God, God is like
- 7:13Speaker 2: a parachute. You know, God can slow your descent. God
- 7:20Speaker 2: can turn this out of control freefall into a nice
- 7:24Speaker 2: ride for you. See, that's what happened to me. I
- 7:30Speaker 2: was spinning out of control. I had gotten myself into
- 7:34Speaker 2: a point. Man, Why I wasn't doing real good? Oh,
- 7:38Speaker 2: y'all would look at me and think, man, Stevie, Man,
- 7:42Speaker 2: Now I wasn't doing real good. I had spun out
- 7:47Speaker 2: of control. I was in a free fall, and I
- 7:51Speaker 2: reached for the chord, but I was so far away
- 7:54Speaker 2: the chord didn't open. Then I went to him and
- 7:57Speaker 2: I pulled the chord. When I went to God, I
- 8:01Speaker 2: pulled the cord and open, and he slowed my descent.
- 8:05Speaker 2: And this is what I just believe. I don't believe
- 8:07Speaker 2: now that I age as fast as I was aging,
- 8:11Speaker 2: because I got that parachute open. Now, you know, I
- 8:13Speaker 2: take better care of myself, eating, I work out more.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Now you know I'm not out of control. I have
- 8:20Speaker 2: a direction now that win. Then got up under that
- 8:24Speaker 2: parachute a little bit, you know, And now I'm going
- 8:28Speaker 2: You know, I'm still getting older, you know so, but
- 8:31Speaker 2: the descent is so slow now I'm able to enjoy
- 8:34Speaker 2: the ride. I'm guiding my parachute over. Sometimes we go
- 8:38Speaker 2: over to to a vacation spot over here, we float
- 8:42Speaker 2: back over to it. But you know, I'm still getting old.
- 8:44Speaker 2: I'm still going down. But the descent because I've opened
- 8:49Speaker 2: my mind to God, the parachute has slowed my descent.
- 8:54Speaker 2: And now I'm rocking back and forth. But I ain't
- 8:57Speaker 2: spending out of control no more. You know, I'm able
- 9:00Speaker 2: to enjoy the view now. You know, when you jump
- 9:03Speaker 2: out that plane and you pull that cord and it
- 9:06Speaker 2: don't work, you ain't looking at the view no more.
- 9:08Speaker 2: You're thinking of only one thing. How can I slow
- 9:11Speaker 2: this down? Well, now I'm able to enjoy the view.
- 9:14Speaker 2: I'm able to see all the beautiful things on the
- 9:17Speaker 2: horizon that God has for me. I'm able to see
- 9:20Speaker 2: all the beautiful things around me that He's provided for
- 9:24Speaker 2: me over these years. Because I've slowed my descent. I
- 9:28Speaker 2: used my mind like a parachute. It works better when
- 9:32Speaker 2: it's open. Open your mind to God, and so you
- 9:36Speaker 2: can see the view, so you can slow the descent,
- 9:39Speaker 2: so you can stop the out of control free fall
- 9:42Speaker 2: that you've been on. That you can get your life
- 9:45Speaker 2: together and see everything out on the horizon that God
- 9:48Speaker 2: has for you. You know it turned out to be
- 9:50Speaker 2: a very true statement your mind. If you use it
- 9:53Speaker 2: like a parachute, it works better when it's open.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Y'all, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, Today has arrived. It's here again. Thank
- 10:08Speaker 2: God for it. It's a new day, new opportunity to
- 10:11Speaker 2: another chance to get it right. Start your day with gratitude.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Your gratitude affects your attitude. Once you got your attitude
- 10:18Speaker 2: in order, it's in direct correlation with your altitude. You
- 10:23Speaker 2: think high, you go high. You think low, you'll be low.
- 10:27Speaker 2: It works like that. It's not a magic trick. It
- 10:30Speaker 2: is what it is. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the
- 10:34Speaker 2: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Sing to yourself the words of
- 10:41Speaker 2: Montel Jordan. This is how we do it. Ready, go
- 10:47Speaker 2: got it, ladies. Jenimer Sheery Strawberry calling for real Mississippi,
- 10:50Speaker 2: Monica Junior, the Comeback Kid and the Legend of Nephew
- 10:55Speaker 2: Tommy Jr. What's on your mind?
- 10:57Speaker 5: Man?
- 10:58Speaker 2: Hey? U let me talk youbout this man?
- 11:02Speaker 7: When you don't, you don't hear from God when you
- 11:05Speaker 7: when you're silent trying to figure out what's happening.
- 11:09Speaker 2: What's the approach? I don't understand what you mean. When
- 11:13Speaker 2: you don't hear from me.
- 11:13Speaker 7: You mean, when you're asking God for something, you don't
- 11:15Speaker 7: hear nothing from heaven, you may feel like God is
- 11:18Speaker 7: not listening to you.
- 11:19Speaker 2: What's your approach? Well, let me ask you a question.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Have you ever heard from me? I mean, yeah, yeah,
- 11:29Speaker 2: I've just felt his presence. I've never had like a
- 11:32Speaker 2: conversation with him. You know, he ain't never like right,
- 11:34Speaker 2: you know what I mean, Explain to me what you're
- 11:40Speaker 2: saying again to.
- 11:41Speaker 7: Well, like when you don't get that feeling when treasure huh,
- 11:45Speaker 7: when you don't feel that present when you when you're
- 11:47Speaker 7: sitting there, Come on, Lord, all right now, I feel
- 11:50Speaker 7: like you know what's going on?
- 11:53Speaker 2: That? Yeah? Yeah, that's me. That's usually me who is
- 11:57Speaker 2: uh my patience has tried. Uh that's usually me. Uh,
- 12:03Speaker 2: not trusting in his timing. Uh, that's usually me. Uh
- 12:09Speaker 2: having a little wavering moment in my faith. Uh, that's
- 12:13Speaker 2: usually me uh being just me just won't what I want?
- 12:19Speaker 2: What I want? It won't it now? Uh, that's usually me. Man,
- 12:24Speaker 2: he is, he is steady. The one thing about God
- 12:28Speaker 2: I found is he's consistently God. You don't have to
- 12:33Speaker 2: encourage him. You don't have to. You know you ain't.
- 12:36Speaker 2: You ain't got your God, no pep talk. Come on now,
- 12:40Speaker 2: come on, God, get your head up. You can do it.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Come on, a lot of people counting on you. But
- 12:48Speaker 2: what you're walking so slow for while you're back there,
- 12:51Speaker 2: brug you ain't gotta add that conversation with God. He's steady, man,
- 12:57Speaker 2: He really real steady. And so when you have moments
- 13:00Speaker 2: like that, you gotta check yourself. And when I feel
- 13:05Speaker 2: like I'm not close to God is because I've walked away,
- 13:09Speaker 2: I've sat down on him, I've turned my back, I've
- 13:12Speaker 2: ceased to pray. Those are the moments I have. It's
- 13:15Speaker 2: always me, you know now, Am I human? And do
- 13:21Speaker 2: I say God? Are you listening? Yeah?
- 13:24Speaker 5: Man?
- 13:24Speaker 2: Because I want what I want right now? Oh he
- 13:26Speaker 2: heard me, He heard me. It just ain't happening when
- 13:30Speaker 2: you want it to happen. That's called faith testing your faith.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Faith is belief in things that you cannot see. Hanging
- 13:36Speaker 2: at Junior.
- 13:37Speaker 1: All right, thank you guys. Coming up at thirty two

- 17:56Speaker 5: Yeah. Well, actually it's well, they must be splitting in here.
- 17:59Speaker 5: It's about four hundred and something to night for this room.

- 18:07Speaker 5: Wow?
- 18:08Speaker 10: Okay, well I'll.
- 18:09Speaker 5: Tell you what, sir. Is there any way I can
- 18:11Speaker 5: I can call back and speak to Martine, So I can.
- 18:13Speaker 10: I never in life call back to this okay, because

- 18:18Speaker 10: ye I don't know even know me answer this phone. Okay,

- 18:36Speaker 5: hang on? Okay, now listen. What I have to do
- 18:39Speaker 5: is I have to talk to the person that made
- 18:41Speaker 5: the reservation in order to cancel it. Now.
- 18:43Speaker 10: I don't any means, but you're counseling right now.
- 18:46Speaker 5: But I need to hear that from miss Martina.
- 18:48Speaker 10: That is trust me, when she gets back, you're gonna

- 18:52Speaker 10: telling you now, cancel it. It ain't gonna be no honeymoon. Okay.

- 18:58Speaker 10: and I'm sitting back here. No canceling now. I'm telling
- 19:02Speaker 10: me the caunselor.
- 19:02Speaker 5: I cannot cancel it without speaking to her.
- 19:05Speaker 10: I tell you what your best better is to cancel that,
- 19:08Speaker 10: because if you put a charge on it, I'm gonna
- 19:10Speaker 10: ride it and find Joe. What's your name? Excuse me,

- 24:11Speaker 2: to try to get us in a better place, and

- 24:16Speaker 2: you want to keep the house, you know, we can
- 24:17Speaker 2: renovate it and lease it and have income property. But no,
- 24:20Speaker 2: I don't want I don't want to live that. I
- 24:22Speaker 2: want to live in a house that I provide as
- 24:24Speaker 2: a man. That's the best thing you could say, and
- 24:26Speaker 2: I want you to allow me to be able to

- 24:55Speaker 1: and there it writes my ex wife calls and tell
- 25:02Speaker 1: me that she's pregnant, and then she started crying. She
- 25:06Speaker 1: explained that she had a one night stand with someone
- 25:09Speaker 1: that I know, but she wouldn't tell me who the guy.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Is is it best to wish her well and block
- 25:15Speaker 1: her or is it best to find out which one
- 25:18Speaker 1: of my boys had sex with my ex wife?
- 25:21Speaker 3: Hey?
- 25:21Speaker 2: Bro, let that go?
- 25:22Speaker 1: Yeah, bro, let thatake go?
- 25:25Speaker 2: Whyles she calling you with all that? Why don't you
- 25:27Speaker 2: call the dude you had one night stand on? Tell
- 25:30Speaker 2: him you're pregnant and y'all cry, don't call me crying?
- 25:34Speaker 3: Cry?
- 25:35Speaker 2: Said?
- 25:36Speaker 1: We cried, We cried to do.
- 25:44Speaker 2: And then we and then that's what she won't and

- 26:05Speaker 1: He said, he feels like he's not getting the job done.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Uh if he if I need a toy, why did
- 26:12Speaker 1: he make it about him? Do I have to keep
- 26:14Speaker 1: explaining myself to him?
- 26:16Speaker 2: Well, you don't have to. You know, somebody gonna somebody
- 26:20Speaker 2: gonna answer some kind of question.
- 26:22Speaker 1: You need to know something use Yeah, because.
- 26:24Speaker 2: What he's assuming is he ain't in there fulfilling the job. Yeah,
- 26:29Speaker 2: and that's what it looked like. But listen, to me, dog,
- 26:34Speaker 2: just so you can be at ease. They all got more,
- 26:38Speaker 2: but they leaving it out though. Dog, It don't matter.
- 26:40Speaker 2: They got warm, they all got war. She just forgot
- 26:43Speaker 2: to put hers up. That's all they all got them. Dog,
- 26:46Speaker 2: ain't no need of getting you all up in your

- 26:53Speaker 2: somewhere they ain't got it. They got it. They won't.
- 26:55Speaker 2: They want something, they won't. They don't want all that
- 26:58Speaker 2: extra that come.
- 26:59Speaker 1: With it, all this, you know, so she doesn't have
- 27:03Speaker 1: to keep explaining herself to him.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Well, she's gonna have to be a little bit more careful.
- 27:08Speaker 2: She's got to practice a little bit more discretion.
- 27:11Speaker 1: Just put it away, okay, all right, all right, you
- 27:14Speaker 1: can't beat that gadget.
- 27:16Speaker 2: I'm just gonna tell you you're not better than that
- 27:19Speaker 2: gad And I'll tell you right now that I'm better
- 27:21Speaker 2: for they lasted a long time. You are not the
- 27:26Speaker 2: energize of Bunny. I can tell you that right. They
- 27:29Speaker 2: got names for it too. That's intimidating. The bullet, the
- 27:35Speaker 2: Native book. They got some stuff, all right.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Last one, Steve, Last one. This is from Toy and
- 27:46Speaker 1: Knoxville Toy writes, I'm in a long distance relationship, so
- 27:50Speaker 1: we have a lot of phone sex. He is making
- 27:53Speaker 1: me wait to have real sex because he's a pastor.
- 27:57Speaker 1: This feels like a game to me. We're in our
- 28:00Speaker 1: thirties and we've been together one year. How much longer
- 28:04Speaker 1: should I wait?
- 28:05Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 28:08Speaker 3: What you want me to do.
- 28:10Speaker 2: You're dating the past, and here gonna make you wait.
- 28:12Speaker 2: You know what you need to find out is what
- 28:15Speaker 2: are you waiting for?
- 28:16Speaker 3: Yes?
- 28:17Speaker 2: Yes, you need to find out what's the end game here?
- 28:20Speaker 2: Because you can play it if it's an end game.
- 28:23Speaker 2: You know, he trying to do the right thing but
- 28:25Speaker 2: not actually having actual sex with you. But you know,
- 28:30Speaker 2: and he thinks that's it. It's the same thing. That's
- 28:32Speaker 2: what I heard. It's the same thing.
- 28:35Speaker 3: It's not.
- 28:35Speaker 1: But oh, plee the very appearance of evil, like it says.
- 28:39Speaker 2: In the Bible. I don't know that.
- 28:41Speaker 1: What's that one, Shirley you It says, flee the very
- 28:45Speaker 1: appearance of evil?
- 28:46Speaker 2: So look, I used to walk straight into it. Yeah,
- 28:51Speaker 2: that was definitely that's maybe I should have learned that
- 28:54Speaker 2: verse because I used to walk straight over there towards it. Ah,
- 29:00Speaker 2: this stupid man, Hey man, I look back on my life,
- 29:03Speaker 2: and man, I just thank God for grace and mercy
- 29:06Speaker 2: because I've done enough stupid stuff to actually not be
- 29:10Speaker 2: sitting in the position I'm sitting here, I promise.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Of everyone listening. Yeah, some people are still doing it.
- 29:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:23Speaker 1: So yeah, so you're saying find out if there's anything
- 29:26Speaker 1: to wait for.
- 29:27Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 29:28Speaker 2: If he's saying, hey, listen, I'm saving you from marriage,
- 29:32Speaker 2: and when his marriage? Yeah, because right now, listen to me.
- 29:36Speaker 2: If he's a pastor and y'all just having phone sex
- 29:41Speaker 2: in it's long distance, when y'all not on the phone
- 29:44Speaker 2: having sex? What he doing?
- 29:46Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 29:46Speaker 2: Is that why? She said?
- 29:47Speaker 1: This feels like a game?
- 29:48Speaker 2: Is he in his thirties? Is her when I was
- 29:53Speaker 2: in my thirties?
- 29:54Speaker 3: Boy? What end this?
- 29:58Speaker 2: I don't what?
- 30:03Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 30:08Speaker 3: All of that now?
- 30:09Speaker 2: Yes, now, come on, getting right here, right here, come on,
- 30:17Speaker 2: you just got it right, I'm ready. What you want?
- 30:19Speaker 3: Thank you?
- 30:19Speaker 1: C l O coming, I tell them they are. We
- 30:25Speaker 1: will have some entertainment news for you right after this.
- 30:28Speaker 2: What you're feeling right now, I'm feeling.
- 30:32Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. February is National Cancer
- 30:41Speaker 1: Prevention month.
- 30:42Speaker 11: Right, that's right, Shirley, that's right, and this message is
- 30:45Speaker 11: sponsored by Pfizer.
- 30:47Speaker 5: Now.
- 30:47Speaker 11: Cancer is one of the hardest health challenges that we
- 30:51Speaker 11: face in early screening. It's crucial in the fight against cancer.
- 30:55Speaker 11: There are tons of excuses that we come up with
- 30:58Speaker 11: to avoid getting cancer screenings, but Peiser is fighting to
- 31:03Speaker 11: change that. Pfizer has launched a new patient focused website
- 31:08Speaker 11: to see which screenings are right for you. The site
- 31:11Speaker 11: is phiserfarall dot com slash screenings and you can see
- 31:15Speaker 11: which cancer screenings are right for you and find resources
- 31:19Speaker 11: to help you speak to your doctor again.
- 31:22Speaker 1: The site is phiserfarall.
- 31:24Speaker 11: Dot com slash screenings and shout out to all of
- 31:28Speaker 11: our cancer warriors out there listening right now. Survivors fighters
- 31:33Speaker 11: go to phiserfarall dot com slash screenings.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Big you go.
- 31:38Speaker 1: That's right, Thank you, Carla Switching gears now retail giant Costco.
- 31:43Speaker 1: Have you guys heard about this? They've started construction on
- 31:47Speaker 1: a groundbreaking mixed use development in the Baldwin Hills Village
- 31:52Speaker 1: area in southern Los Angeles. Construction is underway for a
- 31:56Speaker 1: brand new one hundred and eighty five thousand square foot
- 32:01Speaker 1: Costco warehouse and on top of that, there will be
- 32:04Speaker 1: eight hundred new apartments.
- 32:07Speaker 2: There will be studio warehouse. Is that the same as
- 32:10Speaker 2: the store. Is that what they call the store?
- 32:12Speaker 1: Yes, sir, Yeah, yeah, yeah, because that's that's what it is,
- 32:15Speaker 1: actually a big warehouse. Yeah, all right, eight hundred new apartments.
- 32:20Speaker 1: There will be studios, as I was saying, one bedroom,
- 32:23Speaker 1: two bedroom apartments, a rooftop pool, a fitness center, and
- 32:26Speaker 1: a courtyard. A percentage now of these apartments will be
- 32:30Speaker 1: designated for low income households. Residents will live directly above Costco,
- 32:36Speaker 1: with access to groceries, a pharmacy, and a vision center.
- 32:41Speaker 1: And here's the question, would you would you like to
- 32:45Speaker 1: live above Costco and just run downstairs for your groceries
- 32:49Speaker 1: and a heart need abs? What does your age have
- 32:55Speaker 1: to do with it?
- 32:56Speaker 5: What do you mean?
- 32:57Speaker 9: That just seemed like something I would have done when
- 33:00Speaker 9: I was single. Yes, I've done it. Have a whole
- 33:03Speaker 9: patio cover in my house from some tires Mustard, that
- 33:09Speaker 9: tune of them big packs of meat I have all
- 33:11Speaker 9: of in.
- 33:12Speaker 1: My paper towels.
- 33:15Speaker 9: Steve.
- 33:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I move in there, but before I move in,
- 33:19Speaker 2: I'm gonna need to be the one interview and all
- 33:21Speaker 2: the low income applicants. Really, I need to know who
- 33:26Speaker 2: they are because I believe in giving everybody a fair chance.
- 33:29Speaker 2: But I need to meet some of these people. Most
- 33:35Speaker 2: low income people are great people, but then you've got
- 33:38Speaker 2: some low income people who have that low mentality. You
- 33:42Speaker 2: need to watch that. So just let me interview all
- 33:45Speaker 2: the low income people and then put them all in.
- 33:47Speaker 2: You know, ninety eight percent of a mine in, But
- 33:49Speaker 2: I'm gonna keep that two percent.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Junior, What about you? You run it you in, you
- 33:55Speaker 1: run it down out there.
- 33:56Speaker 2: Wholeheard I'm in there. Yeah.
- 33:58Speaker 7: The greatest thing I think is that seventy five hot
- 34:00Speaker 7: dog and Drake I had it every day.
- 34:02Speaker 5: That boy.
- 34:04Speaker 2: You can't beat that. What Junior?
- 34:07Speaker 3: That pizza?
- 34:08Speaker 2: Pizza, get a hot dog.
- 34:11Speaker 7: You can get a hot dog in a drink for
- 34:13Speaker 7: a dollar seventy five at every class.
- 34:15Speaker 2: Come, I'm gonna delicious.
- 34:17Speaker 7: Yeah, that's dinner every night right there.
- 34:21Speaker 9: That's not important right now. We got to get this
- 34:23Speaker 9: hunt and some in screen upstairs to the apartment. That's
- 34:27Speaker 9: what we got to do. We got to get this
- 34:28Speaker 9: TV up there.
- 34:29Speaker 1: You got to get somebody to help you.
- 34:31Speaker 2: We got to get this TV upstairs. I don't know what.
- 34:35Speaker 2: That's why I need to interview these people. I'm gonna
- 34:37Speaker 2: have to get certain laws. That's why you need to
- 34:42Speaker 2: let me do the interviewer. Ninety eight percent of the
- 34:45Speaker 2: low income people gonna be moved, right on it here.
- 34:47Speaker 2: It's that two percent that's the whole neighborhood up. I
- 34:50Speaker 2: know who they are, I know how to dress, I
- 34:52Speaker 2: know what they talk, I know what the applications say.
- 34:55Speaker 1: All right, well, rooftop pool.
- 34:58Speaker 2: Name your last eight residents.
- 35:05Speaker 1: Interview question?
- 35:06Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 35:08Speaker 2: Were you never completed at least too many times?
- 35:14Speaker 1: No?
- 35:14Speaker 2: No, you're the worst.
- 35:17Speaker 5: Lord.
- 35:18Speaker 2: Well, okay, it's for your protection, y'all. All at the
- 35:24Speaker 2: rooftop pool and everything.
- 35:27Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, the fitness yard.
- 35:31Speaker 9: Yes, I'm walking around with that big bucket of potato selling.
- 35:34Speaker 9: Have you had that potato?
- 35:37Speaker 5: Listen?
- 35:38Speaker 3: Listen.
- 35:38Speaker 11: You can get a giant soup, potato salad, a couch.
- 35:42Speaker 1: House, candle computer.
- 35:48Speaker 2: They sell clothes in that too.
- 35:51Speaker 3: Yeah.

- 35:53Speaker 2: You can furnish the entire apartment.
- 35:55Speaker 1: Yeah, sofa's big old sectionals, all of that. You can
- 35:59Speaker 1: have your whole winter wardrobe. Refrigerators, you can get a refrigerator, carpet.
- 36:07Speaker 2: Yes, myself, you know you had a twenty five pound
- 36:10Speaker 2: bag of frozen shrimp out of there.
- 36:13Speaker 3: How do you know that?
- 36:15Speaker 2: I was in there with Boomerang one time and I
- 36:17Speaker 2: saw it. I just stood down with who the hell
- 36:20Speaker 2: by this much?
- 36:22Speaker 1: Shrill?
- 36:24Speaker 2: I love it?
- 36:26Speaker 3: All right?
- 36:27Speaker 2: All right?
- 36:28Speaker 1: Moving on. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Kelly Clarkson is

- 38:18Speaker 7: and the title of it is Black History Month Poem.
- 38:24Speaker 9: Here we go.
- 38:25Speaker 2: You better these babies.
- 38:28Speaker 7: I almost didn't write this poem because there's no reason
- 38:31Speaker 7: to cheer, because Black History Month is the shortest month
- 38:35Speaker 7: of the year. Our ancestors were inventors, creators, and freedom fighters.
- 38:41Speaker 7: We've been fighting for over two hundred years and things
- 38:43Speaker 7: still ain't brighter. We have a criminal leading the country
- 38:47Speaker 7: and he's full of hate. So there's absolutely nothing for
- 38:51Speaker 7: black people to celebrate. And NICKI min nine, please go
- 38:55Speaker 7: sit your nutty behind down. That man has turned you
- 38:58Speaker 7: from an icon to a big clown. Well that's it
- 39:02Speaker 7: for now, that's all I wrote. Next time, please get
- 39:06Speaker 7: your black is out and vote.
- 39:08Speaker 2: Happy Black History?
- 39:09Speaker 3: Mon yeah Jr.
- 39:19Speaker 1: Just vote, yes, never let me down.
- 39:25Speaker 3: Vote.
- 39:26Speaker 2: Nothing I like better than negative poem with a message.
- 39:34Speaker 2: Glad you got to the end and say get out
- 39:36Speaker 2: and vote, because the rest of us going we had
- 39:38Speaker 2: no reason to celebrate. Oh thank you.
- 39:41Speaker 7: He leading the country. He trying to take black history
- 39:44Speaker 7: out of school. They're not acknowledging black history money, you know.
- 39:48Speaker 7: Just vote, that's all. Yeah, be so much different. Just vote.
- 39:54Speaker 7: We told you how many times did we tell how
- 39:57Speaker 7: many mornings?
- 39:58Speaker 2: Oh year?
- 39:59Speaker 7: Oh?
- 40:02Speaker 1: I love it, happy black Happy Black History.
- 40:09Speaker 2: No, I don't feel like it today because you know,
- 40:13Speaker 2: because he's gonna do a few more these. I don't know.
- 40:16Speaker 2: I'm just gonna you know, he ended it on such
- 40:19Speaker 2: a good note, yeah, that I don't want to destroy
- 40:22Speaker 2: the rest of it. The rest of us complete negativity.
- 40:24Speaker 2: So I just told it was I was gonna do him,
- 40:26Speaker 2: and then he came and salvaged it at the end.
- 40:29Speaker 2: So congratulations. A brilliant piece of comedy, right.
- 40:33Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what makes it great.
- 40:34Speaker 2: Yeah, that's you know the vision I had that. It
- 40:37Speaker 2: woke me up at two in the morning to get
- 40:39Speaker 2: that out.
- 40:40Speaker 1: You wrote too.
- 40:43Speaker 3: Here.
- 40:43Speaker 2: That's why I was like that. It's just emotional things.
- 40:46Speaker 2: You just have to when you feel it, you have
- 40:47Speaker 2: to get up and actually lay back down to five and.
- 40:52Speaker 1: See, Junior, it was a great poem. Thank you. I
- 41:03Speaker 1: knew you were going to come through, all right, coming
- 41:06Speaker 1: up with thirty four minutes after. There's a new law
- 41:09Speaker 1: in France, guys that states married couples aren't obligated to
- 41:15Speaker 1: have sex. We'll talk about it right after this. You're
- 41:21Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, guys, wives
- 41:31Speaker 1: in France no longer have to make up excuses to
- 41:34Speaker 1: avoid having sex with their husbands. Now, law lawmakers and
- 41:38Speaker 1: friends have presented a new bill that abolishes conjugal rights.
- 41:43Speaker 1: It states that married couples, especially wives, are not obligated
- 41:47Speaker 1: to have sexual relations, and also states that the lack
- 41:51Speaker 1: of sex within a marriage cannot be used as grounds
- 41:55Speaker 1: for divorce. Come up with something else. Supporters of this
- 41:59Speaker 1: new law are excited to challenge beliefs that wives, oh
- 42:04Speaker 1: oh their husband's sex within the marriage, which begs the question,
- 42:10Speaker 1: what do you guys think about this new law in France?
- 42:15Speaker 2: I think my wife's French? I think what.
- 42:22Speaker 1: What got it?
- 42:23Speaker 3: I got it?
- 42:24Speaker 7: I think she French because she's not abidened by that law.
- 42:27Speaker 7: She got to be French.
- 42:35Speaker 5: With you.
- 42:37Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, come on, hey, we married not in ball
- 42:40Speaker 1: all this.
- 42:40Speaker 2: I'm pretty much convinced your old me sex.
- 42:43Speaker 1: So yes, yes, maybe in the US, not in France.
- 42:49Speaker 2: I've got news for you. That's in the US right now.
- 42:52Speaker 2: Frence just trying to make it a law, going to
- 42:55Speaker 2: ask her, go in there and ask her for something,
- 42:57Speaker 2: and she don't feel like you see what your chances
- 42:59Speaker 2: look like? I quit ask. That's why you have such
- 43:04Speaker 2: an outbreak of man caves and and strip clubs, and
- 43:09Speaker 2: it's just an outbreak. Have you ever seen a strip
- 43:15Speaker 2: club close?
- 43:18Speaker 5: What?
- 43:22Speaker 1: Out of bankruptcy?
- 43:24Speaker 2: You're not doing well?
- 43:25Speaker 1: Now, Oh you're saying that's big business. They're doing well.
- 43:28Speaker 2: Yeah, they're doing well. They open for lunch. Sure they
- 43:30Speaker 2: be open for lunching. The pandemic they've been.
- 43:35Speaker 1: That's the only thing open.
- 43:36Speaker 2: The smoke garage is being remodeled, turned them into man caves.
- 43:42Speaker 2: It's just all types of stuff.
- 43:44Speaker 1: So you're blaming that on what what? What is your
- 43:47Speaker 1: point here?
- 43:48Speaker 2: You're saying, because we know we're not gonna get it,
- 43:51Speaker 2: so let's get us a man cave. Oh what are you.
- 43:56Speaker 1: Doing in the man cave? What's what's going on in there?
- 43:59Speaker 2: Smoking the cigars? Got a little mini bar in there.
- 44:03Speaker 2: Some dudes got them little new little golfer monitors that
- 44:07Speaker 2: you can hook up to your TV. You know, you
- 44:10Speaker 2: got a sports channels down there. You got posters up
- 44:14Speaker 2: with your football team. Yeah, you gotta do something. Yeah,
- 44:18Speaker 2: you have to go do something. You gotta do something, sir.
- 44:21Speaker 2: They got video games down there.
- 44:24Speaker 1: Yeah, bring your boys over.
- 44:27Speaker 2: Yeah you got it. Just something you gotta That's why
- 44:29Speaker 2: we have all that, because y'all gonna slow down with
- 44:33Speaker 2: out putt and make all these decisions based on how
- 44:35Speaker 2: you feel. I don't know what how you feel got
- 44:37Speaker 2: to do with it, but that is always.
- 44:41Speaker 1: The little woman, how we feel our emotion.
- 44:46Speaker 2: Yeah, see, I think we should create a law over
- 44:50Speaker 2: here that you can't tie sex to how you feel.
- 44:54Speaker 2: Let's go that one. Yeah, at least three days a week.
- 44:59Speaker 2: At least three days a week.
- 45:01Speaker 1: I tell you all the female congress women be like
- 45:03Speaker 1: anybody doing it.
- 45:06Speaker 2: And we know it too, right, We're just on here talking,
- 45:09Speaker 2: that's all. We're just having a moment.
- 45:12Speaker 1: More like venting the house. Yeah, so well, I'm glad
- 45:20Speaker 1: to know what goes on in the man cave now though.
- 45:22Speaker 1: That that was interesting.
- 45:24Speaker 2: Girls just walk up in there, and that's the problem.
- 45:28Speaker 2: That's what they do. They bust up in there. You
- 45:31Speaker 2: can't even have that.
- 45:33Speaker 1: Here's a lilting door here is I slapped the door
- 45:35Speaker 1: right on open.
- 45:36Speaker 2: What's happening here? But I you know the fact that
- 45:41Speaker 2: just say this. If you're gonna go to your man's
- 45:43Speaker 2: man cave, listen, ladies, let me get this a real suggestion.
- 45:47Speaker 2: Stop going in there because you need to talk. That
- 45:51Speaker 2: is the talk zone. Stop coming in the man cave
- 45:55Speaker 2: to the cigar lounge because you want to talk.
- 45:58Speaker 1: But that's where you are.
- 46:00Speaker 2: But tell me what, you can't bring that in here,
- 46:03Speaker 2: killing the energy to talk of y'all walk upstairs in
- 46:08Speaker 2: the kitchen somewhere.
- 46:09Speaker 1: I knew you were mad. I knew you were mad
- 46:11Speaker 1: about it all right. Coming up next to is the

- 55:13Speaker 1: Oh you're not considering it, are you, Steve. You gotta
- 55:16Speaker 1: be stupid to do that, right, Yes, Well.
- 55:20Speaker 9: You don't have to be stupid. You gotta be brilliant
- 55:23Speaker 9: to do stupid things. And that's the difference. You don't

- 56:52Speaker 2: if you thank you.
- 56:54Speaker 1: Subject. I married a flirtatious man, Stephen Shirley. I met
- 56:58Speaker 1: a man online and we got married three years ago.
- 57:02Speaker 1: He is a dispatcher by day and a dj at night.
- 57:06Speaker 1: I'm thirty seven and he's thirty. When we met, he
- 57:09Speaker 1: was trying to find a career that suits his personality.
- 57:13Speaker 1: He told me he was djaying to network and meet
- 57:16Speaker 1: people that could potentially hire him. When I met his mother,
- 57:20Speaker 1: she said to watch out for him because he DJs
- 57:23Speaker 1: to flirt with women. I assumed she was a hater
- 57:26Speaker 1: until I saw it for myself. He is reserved in
- 57:30Speaker 1: real life, but he's outgoing in a dancing machine when
- 57:33Speaker 1: he's djaying. I saw it the night he asked me
- 57:36Speaker 1: to marry him at the club. He did it on
- 57:39Speaker 1: the mic. He called me to the DJ booth and
- 57:42Speaker 1: all eyes were on us. We were featured on the
- 57:45Speaker 1: news and in the newspaper for having such a unique
- 57:48Speaker 1: marriage proposal. You would think that women would not flirt
- 57:52Speaker 1: with him after that, but it made him more popular.
- 57:56Speaker 1: He has been djaying every weekend since we got married.
- 58:00Speaker 1: I tried to put my foot down, but he said
- 58:02Speaker 1: it is who he is and he loves it. So
- 58:05Speaker 1: I decided to sneak into one of the clubs to
- 58:07Speaker 1: see what kind of networking he's doing with my own eyes.
- 58:11Speaker 1: I saw my husband give out single roses to beautiful
- 58:14Speaker 1: women and give shouts out to women that looked like
- 58:17Speaker 1: Instagram models. I saw at least six women go to
- 58:20Speaker 1: the DJ booth to hug him, and he kissed each
- 58:24Speaker 1: one of them on the cheek. My cousin was with me,
- 58:27Speaker 1: and she looked at me and said that I married
- 58:29Speaker 1: a very flirtatious man. She's right. We snuck out when
- 58:33Speaker 1: everyone started leaving. I expected him to come home right
- 58:37Speaker 1: after me, but he came in almost two hours later.
- 58:41Speaker 1: He seems to be quote networking after the club too.
- 58:45Speaker 1: Is it cool? To tell him what I saw or
- 58:48Speaker 1: what I look. Very insecure. Don't worry about looking insecure.
- 58:52Speaker 1: This is not about that. And don't be afraid to
- 58:55Speaker 1: ask your husband or tell him anything. He's your husband.
- 58:59Speaker 1: Your marriage is hanging on by a thread right now
- 59:02Speaker 1: because he's too full of himself with all the attention
- 59:05Speaker 1: he's getting from the ladies. You've already seen him with
- 59:08Speaker 1: your own eyes what he's up to with the ladies,
- 59:10Speaker 1: with the flowers and the kisses and all that. I mean,
- 59:14Speaker 1: you've already seen that, So ask him about that, but
- 59:17Speaker 1: be prepared. He's only gonna, you know, probably lie and say,
- 59:21Speaker 1: oh no, baby, you know what, this goes with the job, whatever. Whatever.
- 59:26Speaker 1: But anyway, the good part about this is that he
- 59:29Speaker 1: found a career that suits him, like you say. The
- 59:32Speaker 1: bad part about this is that he found a career
- 59:35Speaker 1: he loves and that it suits his personality. The problem
- 59:38Speaker 1: is his career doesn't suit you. As his wife. You
- 59:43Speaker 1: don't like it. You don't like it. You don't like
- 59:45Speaker 1: him being married to you and doing.
- 59:47Speaker 2: What he loves.
- 59:49Speaker 1: But you're torn because of course you want him to
- 59:52Speaker 1: do what he loves. But I'm surprised his big hair
- 59:55Speaker 1: can't fit in the it can still fit in the
- 59:57Speaker 1: DJ booth. Coming home two hours after the club is
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: closed is not cool. You gotta talk to him about this.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: He's not considering you at all or caring about how
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: you feel. He's caught up in all of this, and
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: you need to sit down and talk to him about this.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: It might bring him back to his senses, but who
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: knows with mister DJ Steve.
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: You know, ladies, you're allowing a person to treat you
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: some kind of way. Now, listen, you can train a
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: man how to treat you simply by one simple thing
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: and it's nothing that's extraordinary or elaborate, or you gotta
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: be bold and sassy with it all aggressing. All you
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: have to do is stop allowing bad treatment. You don't
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: have to allow a person to treat you badman. You
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: don't have to accept bad treatment simply because that's what
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: he want to do. That's his dream. This is me, man,
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: what all right? I'm gonna walk you through this thing
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: because you've been bamboozled, and I'm gonna show it to you.
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: You met a man online. We got married three years ago.
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: He's a dispatcher by day and he's a DJ at night.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: You thirty seven, he thirty. That's a big jump between
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: men and women. I'm just gonna tell you that that
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: seven year age difference at that age for a woman, Eh,
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: it's tricky. Naturally, women mature quicker than men. That's a
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: known fact. That's not a Steve Harvey a pity. So
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: if you thirty seven and he thirty, and then he
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: doesn't have the thing together that I described in my
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: first book, act like a lady, think like a man.
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: When I told you, until a man determines who he is,
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: what he is, and how much he gonna make, you're
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: gonna be in a struggle with him unless he has decided.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: You are to help me to get him there. And
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: this guy right here don't have it together. So now
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: you're finnah, get in this struggle. He told me he
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: was DJing, He was a DJ at night right, and
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: then when he met he was trying to find this
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: is critical, trying to find a career that suits his personality.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: Trying to find a career that suits his personality. That's
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: so because and he was using DJing to network and
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: meet those people who I'm assuming he led you to
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: believe that would help him find a career that suits
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: his personality, because he said, and meet people that could
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: potentially hire him. That's what the dj in we told
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: you was for.
- 1:02:53Speaker 5: That.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: Right, there is nothing but a lie. You got Pam
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: Boutel right to begin the of the marriage.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: Sorry, hang on, We'll have part two of your response
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: coming up to Steve at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry Letters subject I married a flirtatious man. We'll
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: get back into it right after this. You're listening Steve
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:22Speaker 7: This Sunday, Redfin is kicking off an even bigger game.
- 1:03:25Speaker 7: During the Big Game, they are giving away a million
- 1:03:27Speaker 7: dollar home in an epic never been done before. Scaveton
- 1:03:30Speaker 7: hunt all on the Redfin app. Watch closely. The home
- 1:03:33Speaker 7: is hidden in Rocket and Redfins commercial during the Big Game.
- 1:03:37Speaker 7: The winner will be the first to solve six clues
- 1:03:39Speaker 7: and find the million dollar home on the Redfin app.
- 1:03:42Speaker 7: Download or update the app to play Redfin's Great American
- 1:03:45Speaker 7: Home Search presented by Rocket.
- 1:03:48Speaker 8: No purchase necessary. Fifty USDC must be agent majority. Visit
- 1:03:50Speaker 8: the Great American Home Search dot com for official rules.
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: All right, come on, Steve Let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: The subject is I married a flirtatious man.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: See this is really sad because this is a woman
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: who got bamboozel because she didn't have the ability to
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: read between the lines and pay attention closely to what
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: he saying. You know, ladies, if you listen to a
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: man closely, he will tell you what he's saying. All
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: you gotta do is listen. All right, you're thirty seven,
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: he thirty. That's a big age difference between men and women,
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: especially when the man is that young. Thirty, you're still
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: a young man. You're a man, but you're still a
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: young man. You got a ways to go. And then
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: he doesn't have it together yet. He doesn't know who
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: he is, what he does, and how much he gonna make.
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: Once you have a man that don't know those three things,
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: that don't have a plan of attack. If you sign
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: up for that, get ready, get ready. Unless you are
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: the person who is designated to be a helper to
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: him and he be a helper to you. That's not
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: the case. During the daytime, he's a dispatch, but he
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: did night now he told me that he's DJing first
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: of all. When y'all met, he said he was going
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: to find a career that suits his personality. And he
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: told me that he was DJing to network and meet
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: people that could potentially hire him, which means he was
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: looking for a specific kind of work and he thought
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: that he would meet the people at the club that
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: could hire him. But that's crazy. So that's what he said.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: He was DJing for it just to network and meet
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: people who could hire him. Then you met his mama.
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: She told you to watch out because he DJ's to
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: flirt with women. I'm assuming she was a hater. Where
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: are you getting hate from? That's called a warning. It
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: was baby, baby, you seem like a nice girl. Not
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: be careful because he dj to flirt with women. So
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: I had to go see it for myself. He's reserving
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: in real life, but he's outgoing dancing machine when he's DJing.
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: I saw it the night he asked me to marry him.
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: You saw it before that you ain't paying no attention.
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: He got real public because he brought you up into
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: the booth and asked you to marry you. You always
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: on the news because it was unique marriage for both.
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: You would think that women would not flirt with him
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: after that, but it made him more popular. Yeah, you
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: know why because now they saw he was to marry
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: in kind. Most people don't meet their husband in the club.
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: Most people don't meet their wife in the club. It
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: can happen, but that ain't how most people meet their wife.
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: But anyway, okay, it was unique and he been djailed
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: ever since y'all got married. I tried to put him
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: my foot down, but he said, it's who he is
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: and he loves it way. Well. I thought he was
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: trying to find a job that suits his personality, and
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: he was DJing to meet people who would hire him.
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: Who go to the club to hobby? What job recruiter?
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: You know, I'm going down to get some qualified people
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: help advance the company that I'm with. Um, I think
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: I'll go down to Magic City. See what's going on
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: in there. Ain't nobody recruited the job. Recruiters don't look
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: for the job Africans at clubs, all right. So what
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: he did was I tried to put my foot down.
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: He said, that's who he is. So you snuck into
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: the club one night to see what kind of network
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: he was doing with my own eyes saw your husband
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: giving out single roses to women, giving shoutouts to women
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: that look like Instagram models. I saw these six women
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: go to the DJ booth to hugg him. He kissed
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: each one of them on the cheek. My cousin was
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: with me, and she looked at me and said, you
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: married your very flirtatious man. She's right. I don't know
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: why you needed your cousin cousin at the club tell
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: you that. But okay, we snuck out when everybody started leaving.
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: I expected him to come home right after me. He
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: came home in almost two hours later. He seems to
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: be networking after the club too. Is it cool to
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: tell him what I saw or what I look very insecure? Well,
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: you're not gonna look very insecure. You are insecure, and
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: you have a reason to be insecure. I don't know
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: what it is with y'all new women, but let me
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: talk to you for me, and let uncle have a
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: word with y'all new women. Y'all got y'all letting these
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: new rules come in, and y'all getting the bad end
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: of the short end of the stick man. Y'all not
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: getting nothing. Y'all w out of these relationships. But they
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: getting everything.
- 1:08:36Speaker 5: You know.
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: It's like I love watching that show on the internet,
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: Pop my balloon. I love watching that. It'll be some
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: ignorant mess on that. And then I like that showed.
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: It's a relationship show where the black chick named Kitty
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: attractive girl spiritual, the name is Kitty, and the two
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: other guys up there, they give advice and these young
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: people come in this relationship and raise their hands and
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: asked questions. She always got a scripture or a reason
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: for doing stuff. Real nice show like that. But y'all
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: got some stuff going on now. I don't know how
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: y'all let the men flip the script on y'all. Y'all
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: got these men talking to y'all like like y'all owe
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: them something. So you done got to y'all in the
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: y'all in a time period now where you if if
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: you act like a man should provide for you, he's offended.
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: They offended now. But then y'all going into it like
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: if you want my number, here's my cashapp and all
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: this here. Y'all got these relationships to transaction. Y'all need.
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: Y'all need to get back. You know, love, Love ain't
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: gonna go out of style. I hate to tell y'all
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: that it's still in style. Love is in style. It works.
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: Why don't y'all try finding that instead of a transaction.
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: That's all I got to say. Uncle Steve signing out
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: on this one right here.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: All right, Steve, leave your comments on Today's Strawberry Letter

- 1:10:54Speaker 1: It is time now for junior and sports talk. What
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: you got junior?
- 1:10:57Speaker 7: First one, first big trade. Come here, you got James
- 1:11:02Speaker 7: Harden to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: Right now, coming through the check a flag, running through
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: the red light.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: I know, let him know.
- 1:11:17Speaker 5: I know.
- 1:11:17Speaker 7: They gave up Darius Garland in the second round pick.
- 1:11:20Speaker 7: That's all they gave up. So they get you know,
- 1:11:22Speaker 7: they get a James Harden.
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: What good there? You know he did good? There there
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: is Garlands. Yeah, so y'all keep you on.

- 1:11:33Speaker 2: They give up Donovan Mitchell, they're gonna have to, They're
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: gonna close. That's yeah. Now, I ain't really you know see,
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: I don't really mess with the NBA til we get
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: to playoffs. And I don't mess with him doing doing
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: none of that halftime Championship. I don't watch that. I
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: stop watching the All Star Game because it is just
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: it's garbage. I do not watch the NBA All Star Game.
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: I watched the dunk contest because they trying to fix
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: that a little bit. I do not watch the game.
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: I care nothing about the game. It's complete garbage. I
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: don't even want to see it because the last time
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: when you know Jordan and uh, Jordan and Magic would
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: go at it. Isaiah and Magic would go at it,
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: hit the flow and play deep them days is done.
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: So I don't like this running down letting some shoot
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: that had Courton missing. I don't know, O care nothing
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: about that. So I don't really watch it until we
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: get I don't watch the play ins. I wait till
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: we get into who who getting ready to play for
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: the you know magic? Mhm.
- 1:12:38Speaker 7: You know James Harden ain't really good, they say, he
- 1:12:40Speaker 7: you know, he's not really good in the playoffs.
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: Well, see, we ain't been in the playoffs, so what
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: what what? What's the matter? And man, just give us
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: what you got, you know, and and let's see. Yeah,
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: let's say yo, listen, man, we need j Is hard.
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: Now.
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: If we get the Greek. If we get the Greek today,
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: then we got something talk about. But we need to
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: get that boy out of Milwaukee. Okay, what about John Morant?
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: Could y'all take John Moran? Would y'all take it to
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: I would I take jall? Now you know, I'm gonna
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: tell y'all a little something now, Yeah, come up to
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: Cleveland with all that pistol. Point them gonna come up here,
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: act like you're shooting in Cleveland. I know Memphis is rough.
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: Memphis is not a game. Do not come to Cleveland
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: pointing pistols. They're a little bit different up there. They're
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: just a little bit different up that job. I wish
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: he could come to Cleveland, but don't point at nobody
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: with that pistol because they assisted.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: Well, thank you, Congratulations to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Come on,
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: come to clean this Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: So this is from Dina in Birmingham. In twenty twenty.
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: Dina says, I met a set of twins. I was
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: interested in one of the twins, but the ugly one
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: was more aggressive, so I dated him. We ended up
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: married and then got divorced after only one year of marriage.
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: The other twin, who is now my ex brother in law,
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: recently professed his love for me. I told him that
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: he was my first choice back in twenty twenty, but
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: thought he wasn't interested. I thought he wasn't interested. I've
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: been divorced three years. Here's a question, has enough time
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: passed for me and the other twin to start dating.
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: What because it has enough time passed.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: This ain't got none to do with time years.
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: You're Fina day Joe ex's brother, ex husband's brother. There
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: ain't no amount of time that can go by. This,
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: this is gonna have This is gonna stink up on
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: so many levels. Well, your first time going over to
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: the house for the holiday, all the women in the family,
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: they're gonna shoot.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: Oh, they're gonna drag her for fall.
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: Well she didn't.
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: She didn't want to marry the ugly one, but the
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: cute one.
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: Let me ask you the question, how do you not
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: want to marry the ugly one and marry them?
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: Well, she said, the cute one wasn't interested in hers.
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: So you just married anybody.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: Uh huh. That's how they how they twins and they
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: ain't both ugly.
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: You know, they may not be identical, but they got
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: to have some type of yeah resemblance.
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, But I mean you've seen some twins that
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: a little off.
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: You've seen that before you didn't know anything. It was twins.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: But it's like Steve said, this is not about how
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: they look. This is your husband's brother.
- 1:16:11Speaker 3: Yeah, is it time?
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: Is enough time? Ain't nobody forgot what she talked about?
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: Has enough time went by? Like you don't go over there?
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: And and and the mother gonna go and and who
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: are you again? That's right?
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: She wants to date the twins. She was in love
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: with that first.
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: I'll tell you what. Please date him and then send
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: us the letter of what happened when you went over
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: back over to the house, because you went over there.
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: Family reunion, yeah, Christmas and all that. Let me know
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: how they went.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: All right, we have time for another one.
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: This is tripping all the cud. They rolling their eyes.
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: I'm saying it's been three years.
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: Exactly, Steve. All right, we do have time for another one.
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: This is from Marco and Loganville. Marco says, I passed
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: my fifteen year old son driving my wife's car. She's
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: so lazy that she sends him to the grocery store
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: and doesn't realize that she could be sending him and
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: us to jail if he gets pulled over or has
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: an accident. He is an excellent driver, but he's inexperienced.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: There are grocery delivery apps available, or I could pick
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: up food on my way home. Not only does my
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: wife let my son drive alone, she vapes around him
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: and said it says it's a nasty habit and he'd
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: better not ever do it. I'm sick of her carelessness
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: and for parenting, so I have threatened to leave her.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: She said that's fine, but she's getting full custody of
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: our son. I can't let that happen. So am I
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: stuck with her? Wow?
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: Deep, I was driving to the stove at fifteen though
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: I was my mama was.
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: Driving, driving, walking all over heah.
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I had to just get there. I didn't have
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: I didn't even have temperary. Tam, I you have timperary.
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: I couldn't have learning permit. I will drive. So but
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: you know, I think she's a you the father? Where
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: where have you been fathering? Or you just being reacted?
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: She run the house, you run everything, and then you
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: just let her do what she want to do it.
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: Now you just deal with the results.
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: My son, he called her so lazy.
- 1:18:22Speaker 2: He my son, you're not driving the car. I'll tell
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: you what mama said. I could drive. Okay, cool. Let
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: me see you get in another car.
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: And she's vaping in front of and telling him he
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: better not do it? Yeah, do as I said.
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like my daddy cussing me and saying, now, boy, now,
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: don't do no cussing.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: That's where I got it from.
- 1:18:45Speaker 2: What did you get up?
- 1:18:46Speaker 3: Right?
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: All right, guys, coming up in twenty minutes after we'll
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this,

- 1:19:10Speaker 1: and he did see his shadow. That means winter is
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: prolonged for another six weeks, according to the groundhog. And
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: did you know that groundhog Day originated back in eighteen
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: eighty seven, which makes Punk satani Phil at least one

- 1:19:58Speaker 2: Was it part of your childhood? I don't pay no
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: attention to that.
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: Did you when you were a child.
- 1:20:03Speaker 3: Man.
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: My father threatened that ground hog every year.
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: I was sad when he saw his shadow. And I
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: was thinking about six and he.
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: Told him he saw his shadow. See I knew as
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: a child growing up in the country. I had already
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: worked out in my mind how this was with ground hog.
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: Don't see this shadow? What did people see the shadow?
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: And they tell you it's six more weeks. It's always
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: six more weeks. We just said.
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: February coming up. We'll play around him. Would you rather?
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: Right after this the.

- 1:27:28Speaker 2: I did everything but drink and drugs everything else.
- 1:27:33Speaker 3: I was in it.
- 1:27:36Speaker 2: I just never drink, never did drugs, but everything else. Man,
- 1:27:40Speaker 2: who participated? And I got worse? Man, And then I
- 1:27:47Speaker 2: got into comedy a little disconnected, and then God got
- 1:27:53Speaker 2: my attention. I became homeless, and lord, oh Lord, oh Lord,
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: did I get reconnected in a hurry, because he was
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: all I had. I had nothing, Man. I ain't have
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: a front door, didn't have refrigerator, didn't have a TV,
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: didn't have no bathroom, didn't have no living room. I
- 1:28:14Speaker 2: ain't had no key to no front door. Now, Man,
- 1:28:17Speaker 2: he had my divided attention. And then I got it together.
- 1:28:22Speaker 2: And then my relationship was a little strained because I
- 1:28:26Speaker 2: got into a bad marriage.
- 1:28:27Speaker 11: Man.
- 1:28:27Speaker 2: And then I was struggling with that, and my whole focus, Man,
- 1:28:31Speaker 2: was on how to be happy. For a moment. I
- 1:28:34Speaker 2: sought out a lot of stuff to make myself happy
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: that wasn't really making me happy, but just a lot Man,
- 1:28:42Speaker 2: and then I grew from that. After the divorce, It's
- 1:28:45Speaker 2: when my relationship with God really started to crystallize. Because sometimes, man,
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: you have to you have to be away from it
- 1:28:53Speaker 2: to understand how valuable it really is. That's sad, sad.
- 1:28:58Speaker 2: You think we'd realize how how valuable he is all
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: the way along the way, but sometimes it's human and
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: I'm just talking about myself. I had to get away
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: from it to realize how valuable it was, because without it,
- 1:29:10Speaker 2: I had no answers.
- 1:29:13Speaker 10: With it.
- 1:29:14Speaker 2: I had peace, I had problem of resolution. I had
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: I had a go to, I had a partner, I
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: had somebody to run it by. I asked somebody I
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: could get advice from. I had somebody man who could
- 1:29:30Speaker 2: order my steps. I found somebody in God that I
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: could actually trust. I found in him a consistency man,
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: somebody that always did what they said they was gonna do.
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: And it's in his word, and his word is true,
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: and all you got to do is read it, man,
- 1:29:48Speaker 2: And that word is thousands of years old, and it's
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: just facts. It's just facts, and it's undisputable facts. And
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: you got to be a fool not to see it.
- 1:30:03Speaker 2: And you got to be a bigger fool not to
- 1:30:05Speaker 2: want it. There is a scripture that says a fool
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: has said in his heart there is no God. That
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: that's a foolish, foolish man and woman. But it's a
- 1:30:17Speaker 2: lot of them, man, it's a lot of them out
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: there that has been deceived. But I know you to
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: be foolish. And that's sad, man, because how do you
- 1:30:27Speaker 2: explain all of this without without God? Where did the
- 1:30:34Speaker 2: beginning come from? Light?
- 1:30:38Speaker 9: All that?
- 1:30:39Speaker 2: What'd you think?
- 1:30:42Speaker 3: Wow?
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: Where all that come from?
- 1:30:43Speaker 9: Man?
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: Where does solar system come from?
- 1:30:48Speaker 5: You know?
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: I had this gull on my show What's This? Black
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: dude with the Afro Neil de grass Tyson is his name,
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: And I was talking him man and I like to
- 1:31:01Speaker 2: do man, real quirky, but he's all science and he
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: don't believe in God. And we went to commercial break
- 1:31:08Speaker 2: on my show. I had called Facebook watch and we
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: went to commercial and came back. He wasn't on the
- 1:31:12Speaker 2: show because I just told him on commercial break, man,
- 1:31:15Speaker 2: may bro me and you're not. This not the platform
- 1:31:18Speaker 2: to promote what atheism? That ain't That's not what I'm
- 1:31:23Speaker 2: on TV for. And I can't let you do that
- 1:31:25Speaker 2: on my show. I'm free to think whatever I want
- 1:31:27Speaker 2: to think. I said, Yeah, you're free, man, you welcome.
- 1:31:29Speaker 2: You just ain't finish thank it up in here no more.
- 1:31:32Speaker 2: That's all. Well, as a Christian, aren't you supposed to who? Well,
- 1:31:37Speaker 2: you can't go there because you don't believe in God.
- 1:31:39Speaker 2: So how you're gonna check me on being a Christian?
- 1:31:42Speaker 2: I'm not whatever Christian you think I'm supposed to be,
- 1:31:44Speaker 2: I'm probably not it. So with all that growth, Junior,
- 1:31:48Speaker 2: I still got a long way to go and try
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: better tomorrow. Y'all have a great day. Talk to God.
