Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / No Excuses for Kristi Noem who Wrote a Book to Impress Trump for VP Job
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: There's a controversy that is kind of imploded, and it
- 0:05Speaker 1: involves somebody that was on the list to be the
- 0:08Speaker 1: vice president. It is South Dakota Governor Christy No. Now
- 0:13Speaker 1: I know Christy. I've had breakfast with her and other
- 0:18Speaker 1: political people down in Florida at a Trump property. I
- 0:23Speaker 1: would not say that we are friends, but I do
- 0:27Speaker 1: know her branding and I understand that she desperately wants
- 0:30Speaker 1: to be picked as the vice president the United States
- 0:32Speaker 1: of America. So she decided to write a book. And
- 0:37Speaker 1: in this book, she made a really really dumb mistake.
- 0:41Speaker 1: One she told everybody that she killed her own dog,
- 0:44Speaker 1: a puppy, and two she then said that she had
- 0:50Speaker 1: a conversation of sitting down with Kim Jong ung that
- 0:53Speaker 1: apparently never happened, Like it didn't happen at all.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Why did she write the book? For one simple reason.
- 1:02Speaker 1: She wrote the book trying to show Trump that she
- 1:06Speaker 1: would be a good vice presidential candidate. She wrote the
- 1:09Speaker 1: book right in this book that she came out with
- 1:13Speaker 1: with this tough you know No Going Back title is
- 1:17Speaker 1: a book about kind of a memoir in essence of
- 1:20Speaker 1: her life and politics and how she's a really tough
- 1:24Speaker 1: woman on day one that he should choose. Now, killing
- 1:28Speaker 1: the dog was supposed to be a story to prove
- 1:31Speaker 1: how tough she is to impress I actually believe just
- 1:34Speaker 1: Donald Trump. She said she put the story in the
- 1:37Speaker 1: book because her political opponents had already used it against her.
- 1:41Speaker 2: The problem is the way that she wrote it in
- 1:44Speaker 2: the book.
- 1:44Speaker 1: It didn't make her sound tough, like she's some sort
- 1:47Speaker 1: of tough woman. It made her sound like she's a
- 1:50Speaker 1: crazy person who was inhumane to an animal. Now, if
- 1:54Speaker 1: you've ever had to put down an animal, you understand,
- 1:56Speaker 1: especially with your own animal, that the main.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Way of doing it.
- 2:01Speaker 1: And then there's just like shooting the dog, which is
- 2:03Speaker 1: apparently what she did.
- 2:04Speaker 2: But she wanted that street credit.
- 2:07Speaker 1: She wanted you to be like man that is a tough,
- 2:10Speaker 1: tough woman right there. And her audience for writing that
- 2:15Speaker 1: passage was one person. She was writing that for Donald Trump.
- 2:19Speaker 1: She was trying to impress Donald Trump. She also claimed
- 2:22Speaker 1: in the book that she sat down with a lot
- 2:25Speaker 1: of world leaders.
- 2:26Speaker 2: I'm going to put an asterisk by that.
- 2:28Speaker 1: But one of her stories they've now taken out of
- 2:30Speaker 1: the book, which she's claiming is actually the fault of
- 2:34Speaker 1: her ghost writer. The ghostwriter, by the way, does help
- 2:38Speaker 1: write a book. I had someone help write with my book.
- 2:41Speaker 1: It wasn't a ghostwriter, but it was someone that was
- 2:43Speaker 1: an editor. And if they would have written something that
- 2:45Speaker 1: was incorrect, especially like me meeting with a world leader,
- 2:49Speaker 1: you would know that that's a lie. And she I'm
- 2:51Speaker 1: sure read the manuscript for her memoir No Going Back
- 2:56Speaker 1: that was published right before it was actually published, and
- 3:00Speaker 1: in there she claims that, you know, this guy Kim
- 3:04Speaker 1: Jong Ung was like, you know, really terrified of just
- 3:08Speaker 1: how strong of a woman she was. Now, why did
- 3:10Speaker 1: she put that lie in the book. She put it
- 3:13Speaker 1: in there for one person. She put it in there
- 3:17Speaker 1: to impress yet again, one person, Donald Trump. That is
- 3:22Speaker 1: the only person that she was trying to impress. This
- 3:26Speaker 1: was a book to impress him. Now the media is
- 3:30Speaker 1: coming after her, and it's not liberal media. It's actually
- 3:35Speaker 1: conservative media because of how she's handled herself while she's
- 3:40Speaker 1: been on conservative media, and they've been asking basic questions,
- 3:43Speaker 1: as they should, because if you can't even make it
- 3:46Speaker 1: through your own book and what you wrote in your book,
- 3:48Speaker 1: why would I think you'd be an asset to Donald
- 3:50Speaker 1: Trump as his vice presidential candidate. It's a fair question,
- 3:54Speaker 1: and I'm going to play this for you and it's
- 3:56Speaker 1: going to just really shock you. But first I want
- 3:59Speaker 1: to talk to you about what's happening in the economy.
- 4:01Speaker 1: You've probably seen what's been going on with inflation. You've
- 4:05Speaker 1: probably noticed that the amount of money you thought you
- 4:08Speaker 1: need to save for retirement is not going to be enough.
- 4:12Speaker 2: It's gone up.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Because the cost of goods and services and housing and
- 4:15Speaker 1: interest rates inflation have just skyrocketed. That is why I
- 4:19Speaker 1: want you to know about Freedom Gold USA. Gold has
- 4:24Speaker 1: been an incredible head historically against inflation, and that's why
- 4:28Speaker 1: you're seeing gold be bought up at record numbers right now.
- 4:31Speaker 1: And not only that, but you're seeing gold that is
- 4:35Speaker 1: actually hitting all time highs as inflation is going up.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Goes back to the basic point, it's a great hedge
- 4:42Speaker 1: against inflation. Now, if you don't have gold or silver
- 4:45Speaker 1: as part of your diversified investment portfolio your retirement, now's
- 4:50Speaker 1: the time to look at it more than ever before.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Now there are a lot of gold comings out there.
- 4:54Speaker 1: And the main reason why I want you to know
- 4:55Speaker 1: about Freedom Gold USA is this. On average, they charge
- 4:59Speaker 1: twenty five to thirty percent less than most major gold
- 5:02Speaker 1: and silver firms. What does that mean to you? It
- 5:05Speaker 1: means you're gonna get twenty five to thirty percent more
- 5:08Speaker 1: gold and silver in your account than you will if
- 5:10Speaker 1: you buy with the same amount of money somewhere else. So,
- 5:14Speaker 1: if you're ready to take control your financial future and
- 5:16Speaker 1: see if gold and silver should be a part of
- 5:19Speaker 1: your portfolio, visit Freedom goold Usa dot com slash ben.
- 5:24Speaker 1: That's Freedom goold Usa dot com slash ben. Or call
- 5:28Speaker 1: at one eight hundred sixty five five eight eight four three.
- 5:32Speaker 1: That's one eight hundred and sixty five five eight eight
- 5:35Speaker 1: four three or freedom goold Usa dot com slash ben.
- 5:39Speaker 1: All right, let's talk about what she said on TV
- 5:43Speaker 1: that's gotten her in so much trouble. Christy Nome went
- 5:47Speaker 1: on a friendly book tour, and this is what you do.
- 5:50Speaker 1: You go on friendly book tours, you talk to friends.
- 5:53Speaker 1: And when you talk to friends, one of the things
- 5:56Speaker 1: that happens when you talk to your friends on book
- 5:59Speaker 1: tour is they ask you pretty easy questions. The problem
- 6:03Speaker 1: is this thing has gotten so out of control because
- 6:06Speaker 1: Christy Noom refuses to admit that she didn't actually meet
- 6:10Speaker 1: with Kim Jong Oung, and she shouldn't have brought up
- 6:12Speaker 1: shooting her dog in the book for an audience of wine,
- 6:16Speaker 1: which was to impress Donald Trump. She went on Stuart
- 6:19Speaker 1: Varney's show on Fox Business.
- 6:22Speaker 2: It didn't go well.
- 6:23Speaker 3: Listen carefully, workers, and it's just been incredible to see
- 6:26Speaker 3: the amount of feedback and people that are moving to
- 6:28Speaker 3: our state to take opportunity of those jobs and to
- 6:30Speaker 3: live like we do in South Dakota.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Do you still think that you are in line to
- 6:34Speaker 2: be Trump's vice president? It's up to Donald Trump.
- 6:36Speaker 3: He's the only person who will decide this.
- 6:38Speaker 2: It's true.
- 6:39Speaker 3: He's the only person who will decide.
- 6:40Speaker 2: And I spoke, yes, I do speak to him. I
- 6:42Speaker 2: asked what he said to you about No.
- 6:43Speaker 3: I never tell anybody my personal conversations with the story.
- 6:48Speaker 3: I talked to President Trump all the time about the dogs,
- 6:50Speaker 3: about a lot of things. And right now I tell
- 6:52Speaker 3: you what. He is being persecuted in a political hunt,
- 6:56Speaker 3: which hunt in.
- 6:57Speaker 2: This court case.
- 6:57Speaker 3: So I'm proud of him about how to he is
- 7:00Speaker 3: and how well he is doing. Did you bring up
- 7:02Speaker 3: yeah enough, Stuart, the interview is ridiculous what you were
- 7:06Speaker 3: doing right now?
- 7:08Speaker 2: So you need to stop. It is okay, it is.
- 7:10Speaker 3: Let's talk about some real topics that Americans care about.
- 7:13Speaker 2: I'm afraid around of time. Oh well, of course we are.
- 7:15Speaker 2: We do. Thank you for being with us. I know
- 7:16Speaker 2: I pressed hard, but that's what people are talking about
- 7:19Speaker 2: to this day. Now, Gunna, no, thanks for joining us.
- 7:22Speaker 2: We appreciate it. We'll be back now. This is what
- 7:25Speaker 2: everybody's talking about.
- 7:26Speaker 1: And she gets mad at Fox and then apparently she cancels,
- 7:30Speaker 1: claiming bad weather for her to go on another show
- 7:33Speaker 1: on Fox, Gutfeld, apparently on Tuesday Night. So now she's
- 7:38Speaker 1: got a bigger problem because now Gutfeld is going after
- 7:41Speaker 1: for being a no show. Now you can hear her there,
- 7:44Speaker 1: say enough Stuart, right, She's she's been treated with conservative
- 7:48Speaker 1: gloves for quite some time.
- 7:51Speaker 2: So she tries another network.
- 7:52Speaker 1: She goes on Newsmax and it doesn't go well on Newsmax.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Either listen to this from Newsmax and or interview back
- 8:00Speaker 2: to make a difference.
- 8:01Speaker 4: I agree with you there, but going back to what
- 8:04Speaker 4: you said a moment ago, maybe not lying to the
- 8:06Speaker 4: American people. And I think this is important to talk
- 8:09Speaker 4: about because the book's called No Going Back the Truth
- 8:12Speaker 4: on what's wrong with politics, And I think part of
- 8:14Speaker 4: the problem with politics today is that politicians aren't honest
- 8:18Speaker 4: with the American people. So if, Governor, if you asked
- 8:20Speaker 4: me a month ago, who's at the top of the
- 8:22Speaker 4: list to run with Donald Trump, I would have said
- 8:24Speaker 4: your name.
- 8:25Speaker 2: If you asked me that.
- 8:26Speaker 4: Same question this morning, I don't even think you're on
- 8:28Speaker 4: the list. Really, So my question for you, yes, really,
- 8:30Speaker 4: And it's because of things that have come out in
- 8:32Speaker 4: this book, like your claims that you met Kim Jong un,
- 8:35Speaker 4: and then over the last week I've.
- 8:37Speaker 3: Been to the DMZ, I've been tyr what I've.
- 8:39Speaker 4: Said Kim Jong. Let me Governor one second. I will
- 8:42Speaker 4: give you an opportunity to respond. I just want to
- 8:44Speaker 4: get this out there. So here's the quote from the book.
- 8:47Speaker 4: You say that I remember when I met North Korean
- 8:49Speaker 4: dictator Kim Jong un. I'm sure he underestimated me, having
- 8:52Speaker 4: no clue about my experience staring down little tyrants.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Governor, that never happened.
- 8:57Speaker 3: But I have said in the book is that when
- 8:59Speaker 3: I came aware of the content that we had, it changed,
- 9:02Speaker 3: and that's the way that it is. So I should
- 9:05Speaker 3: not have put that anecdote.
- 9:05Speaker 2: In the book that I'm not going to talk about
- 9:09Speaker 2: it happened.
- 9:09Speaker 3: I'm not going to talk about my conversations with world leaders.
- 9:13Speaker 3: I've been involved in policy for them.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Now, this is the problem I have with Governor Noman.
- 9:17Speaker 2: I agree.
- 9:18Speaker 1: I don't think she's even on the list anymore, because
- 9:21Speaker 1: if you can't tell the truth in your book on
- 9:24Speaker 1: a major issue, like you saying that you set down
- 9:27Speaker 1: and met with Kim Jong un, and then she's like.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Her response is, I've been to the DMZ. Well, i've
- 9:34Speaker 1: been to Paris, but I didn't meet with the leader
- 9:37Speaker 1: in France when.
- 9:38Speaker 2: I was there.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Okay, I've been to Germany. I didn't meet with the
- 9:42Speaker 1: chancellor there when I was in Germany. Just because I've
- 9:45Speaker 1: been somewhere doesn't mean that you meet with a world leader,
- 9:48Speaker 1: Like you don't check in with your passport and then
- 9:50Speaker 1: all of a sudden, the president of the country comes.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I was like, so oh, Christy, so nice to see.
- 9:54Speaker 1: I heard you were coming through like this idea. Her
- 9:57Speaker 1: response is, I've been to the DMZ, I been to
- 10:00Speaker 1: the area, right, That's what That's what I've said. No,
- 10:04Speaker 1: you said you met with the North Korean dictator Kim
- 10:09Speaker 1: Jong ung and that he underestimated you. He had no
- 10:13Speaker 1: clue about my experience. She wrote in her book. This
- 10:17Speaker 1: is her words, I'm sure he underest me. Again, she's
- 10:20Speaker 1: writing this just for Donald Trump. I'm sure he underest
- 10:23Speaker 1: me me having no clue about my experience staring down
- 10:27Speaker 1: little tyrants. What other tyrants has she stared down? I'm
- 10:31Speaker 1: curious besides her dog that she shot. Christy Nomes should
- 10:35Speaker 1: have just said straight up, I didn't meet with Kim Jongong.
- 10:38Speaker 1: She's still implying that she met and refusing to deny
- 10:43Speaker 1: that she met with him, and her excuses is quote,
- 10:47Speaker 1: I've been to the DMZ, I've been to the area.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Now look from what I understand, And I talked to
- 10:53Speaker 1: several different people that were at the State Department when
- 10:56Speaker 1: I was getting ready for the show, and I was like,
- 11:00Speaker 1: do we have a list, Like, is there a long
- 11:02Speaker 1: list of people that have met from America that are
- 11:04Speaker 1: elected officials with Kim Jongong? And they're like no, Like
- 11:09Speaker 1: this guy's like completely isolated himself from the world.
- 11:12Speaker 2: He's extremely paranoid.
- 11:14Speaker 1: He doesn't just randomly meet with some governor from South Dakota.
- 11:20Speaker 1: And if if he was gonna meet with the South
- 11:23Speaker 1: Dakota governor. It probably would have leaked out from his
- 11:27Speaker 1: own country, or it would have been figured out by
- 11:30Speaker 1: somebody in America. This has not been reported on by anyone,
- 11:34Speaker 1: so newsmax, right, I mean, they're hardcore, you know, pro
- 11:38Speaker 1: Trump network. Listen to how they respond after she says
- 11:42Speaker 1: I'm gonna back it up a couple of seconds here
- 11:43Speaker 1: when she's like, I've been there, Like I've been to
- 11:46Speaker 1: the dmz Okay, and I mean I've been to a
- 11:49Speaker 1: lot of countries. I've been to Spain. I never met
- 11:51Speaker 1: with a leadership in Spain. I've been to you know,
- 11:54Speaker 1: the border with Ukraine. I didn't meet was Zelenski because
- 11:57Speaker 1: I was there.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Just because you.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Go to a country, doesn't meet and you meet with
- 12:03Speaker 1: the leader of the country.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Listen, I'm not going to talk about happened.
- 12:09Speaker 3: I'm not going to talk about my conversations with world leaders.
- 12:12Speaker 3: I've been involved in policy for thirty years. For thirty years,
- 12:16Speaker 3: I've been traveling the world talking to world leaders, and
- 12:19Speaker 3: that is a conversation that I'm not going to have.
- 12:22Speaker 2: In this book.
- 12:22Speaker 1: By the way, I also don't think she's very smart
- 12:25Speaker 1: and The reason why is because of what she just said.
- 12:28Speaker 1: She just said, and any decent reporter is going to
- 12:32Speaker 1: do exactly what this host is about to do. She said,
- 12:37Speaker 1: I'm not going to talk about my meetings with world leaders. Okay,
- 12:42Speaker 1: then why did you write about your meeting with a
- 12:43Speaker 1: world leader and talk smack about your meeting with said
- 12:47Speaker 1: world leader?
- 12:49Speaker 2: Her words in her book. And you're going to hear.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Finnerty say exactly this in a second, but I want
- 12:54Speaker 1: to read it to you to understand.
- 12:56Speaker 2: Here's the quote from the book. You say that quote.
- 12:58Speaker 1: I remember when I met North Korean dictator Kim Jong un.
- 13:03Speaker 1: I'm sure he underestimated me, having no clue about my
- 13:07Speaker 1: experience staring down a little tyrants. Now, the governor wrote that,
- 13:12Speaker 1: and what we know now is that didn't happen, right,
- 13:18Speaker 1: and that never happened. From what we understand, there was
- 13:22Speaker 1: never even a meeting. He probably doesn't even know Christy
- 13:25Speaker 1: nom Is. I'm not saying that to be mean, but
- 13:28Speaker 1: like there's a lot of governors, and the governor from
- 13:32Speaker 1: South Dakota probably not on the top of Kim Jong
- 13:34Speaker 1: Ung's list, okay, or anybody for exact for that, you know,
- 13:39Speaker 1: in that part of the world that the DMZ can
- 13:41Speaker 1: we agree on that, there's a pretty good chance that's
- 13:45Speaker 1: just not something he's going to be talking about. So again,
- 13:49Speaker 1: go back to the interview. Listen to the response from NEWSMAX.
- 13:54Speaker 3: So I've answered that in other in interviews already. I've
- 13:57Speaker 3: been very forthright, and I think that a typical politician
- 14:00Speaker 3: wouldn't be that honest. As soon as it became to
- 14:03Speaker 3: my attention, I asked for the content to be changed
- 14:05Speaker 3: in it has been.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Governor.
- 14:06Speaker 4: I'm not asking you about the details of this alleged meeting.
- 14:09Speaker 4: I'm asking if the meeting actually happened. I don't think
- 14:12Speaker 4: it did, and I think if it did, you'd be
- 14:14Speaker 4: able to confirm for me that yes, it did, And
- 14:16Speaker 4: here's when it happened. It happens, say at such and
- 14:19Speaker 4: such a date or a month, or.
- 14:21Speaker 3: You don't have to be talking about I'm not going
- 14:22Speaker 3: to talk about my conversation.
- 14:24Speaker 4: You're going to continue to have to answer this question then.
- 14:26Speaker 2: I don't think so.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Because the average American citizen is more worried about the border.
- 14:30Speaker 1: I mean, what what a cop out there? Oh, the
- 14:34Speaker 1: average American citizen is more concerned about the border. This
- 14:37Speaker 1: is why I and again I'm calling this out because
- 14:41Speaker 1: she shouldn't be named as the vice president, and I
- 14:43Speaker 1: want to make it very well known that this is
- 14:46Speaker 1: a woman that can't even defend what she wrote in
- 14:48Speaker 1: her book about a very important and significant issue, which
- 14:51Speaker 1: would be meeting with a world leader, and a line
- 14:54Speaker 1: that she wrote in her book, and now she's claiming like, oh, privacy,
- 14:57Speaker 1: I'm not going to I'm not going to talk about
- 14:59Speaker 1: my private meetings world leaders.
- 15:00Speaker 2: And by the way, I understand that I've met with
- 15:03Speaker 2: world leaders.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Many of you know that I've been several different times
- 15:08Speaker 1: over to Hungary and met with a prime minister there.
- 15:11Speaker 1: I'm not gonna come on here after I sit down
- 15:14Speaker 1: with him for literally a couple hours each time and
- 15:17Speaker 1: tell you what he asked me or what he said.
- 15:19Speaker 2: A lot of that was off the record.
- 15:21Speaker 1: He asked me different questions about things in this country.
- 15:24Speaker 1: I'm not gonna And part of that is is there
- 15:26Speaker 1: was an understanding. Now am I able to say I'm
- 15:28Speaker 1: met with him?
- 15:29Speaker 4: Yes?
- 15:29Speaker 1: Are there pictures and news clippings of the two of
- 15:33Speaker 1: us meeting, Yes? Are there pictures on the internet of
- 15:35Speaker 1: us meeting, Yes, But I'm not gonna sit here and
- 15:37Speaker 1: tell you everything. She has no pictures, she won't tell
- 15:40Speaker 1: us a year. She claims because she went to the
- 15:42Speaker 1: DMZ that somehow she met with him. And again, this
- 15:46Speaker 1: is what she wrote in her book, her memoir, which
- 15:49Speaker 1: was written for one.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Person to read, Donald Trump.
- 15:54Speaker 1: This book is a book that she wrote saying, Donald Trump,
- 15:58Speaker 1: this is how tough of a woman I am. I remember,
- 16:01Speaker 1: I'm quoting now from the book. I remember when I
- 16:02Speaker 1: met North Korean dictator Kim Jong ung. It never happened.
- 16:06Speaker 1: I'm sure he understated, underestenated me. And so she said,
- 16:09Speaker 1: I'm a strong woman. Trump, you know what they underestimated you.
- 16:12Speaker 1: They people underestimated me. Guess what we can take on
- 16:15Speaker 1: the world. She then says, having no clue about my
- 16:19Speaker 1: experience staring down little tyrants. Now, if I was interviewing
- 16:23Speaker 1: Governor Nom, I would have said, Hey, what other little
- 16:25Speaker 1: tyrants have you stared down? Because you're implying that you've
- 16:31Speaker 1: also met with other dictators like Kim jongng? Have you
- 16:34Speaker 1: met with any other dictators in the world. And I'm
- 16:37Speaker 1: not talking about ANTIFA, Black Lives Matter, or protesters at
- 16:41Speaker 1: the capitol, Okay, I'm not I mean, the way she's
- 16:44Speaker 1: describing it is is like she's she's meeting with like
- 16:47Speaker 1: Putin and and Chavez and and and I mean, the
- 16:51Speaker 1: list goes on and on. Right, She's meeting with the Castros.
- 16:57Speaker 1: She's she's meeting with all of these little tyrants and
- 17:01Speaker 1: staring them down. And then she says, I have experience
- 17:05Speaker 1: staring down little tyrants.
- 17:08Speaker 2: It never happened.
- 17:10Speaker 1: I hate it when when we have conservatives that do this,
- 17:13Speaker 1: and I'm sorry, it sucks, it really does. But when
- 17:18Speaker 1: you listen to this host say, I don't think it
- 17:21Speaker 1: ever happened, he was saying exactly what I was thinking
- 17:24Speaker 1: here right, like I'm just being honest here, and and
- 17:29Speaker 1: and even at Newsmax, Eric Boeing was talking with Christy Nome,
- 17:34Speaker 1: and Christy Nome was confronted with the GOP criticism for
- 17:37Speaker 1: her shooting a dog.
- 17:39Speaker 2: Listen to this, governor.
- 17:41Speaker 5: I've also written a couple of books, and I know
- 17:43Speaker 5: how the process works. You write some chapters, you don't
- 17:45Speaker 5: write the WHO book at wants. You write a chapter
- 17:47Speaker 5: or two, You send it to the editors and they edit,
- 17:49Speaker 5: they read it, they add, they subtract, And here's my question.
- 17:53Speaker 5: The editor the editor. Was she possibly a plan to
- 17:56Speaker 5: liberal plan?
- 17:57Speaker 2: Because I'm not.
- 17:58Speaker 5: Sure either one of these stories, the dog story, the
- 18:01Speaker 5: North Korea story, seems like the christinom.
- 18:05Speaker 6: I know.
- 18:07Speaker 3: Now the book always stops with me. I take my
- 18:09Speaker 3: own full responsibility. I wrote this book, and I take
- 18:12Speaker 3: the responsibility for what's in it.
- 18:14Speaker 2: It's a great book.
- 18:15Speaker 3: Eric, I hope everybody reads it and buys it. It's
- 18:17Speaker 3: available tomorrow, no going back.
- 18:20Speaker 1: I mean, he's even trying to help her out right,
- 18:24Speaker 1: Like he's asking her.
- 18:25Speaker 2: He's he's like, help me, help you?
- 18:28Speaker 5: Right?
- 18:28Speaker 1: Was the book editor a liberal plant who inserted unflattering stories? Look,
- 18:33Speaker 1: she read the book before it came out. Her team does.
- 18:37Speaker 1: There's no way I've written a book. I know how
- 18:39Speaker 1: this works. Okay, there's no way this thing got out
- 18:42Speaker 1: there with her meeting with world leaders, you know, while
- 18:46Speaker 1: she also says I won't I won't talk about my
- 18:49Speaker 1: conversation with world leaders after I write about my conversations
- 18:52Speaker 1: with world leaders, Like you can't have it both ways.
- 18:55Speaker 1: And this is again another example. Lit's say Jesse Waters
- 18:59Speaker 1: what he said on Fox as well.
- 19:00Speaker 2: They're also attacking you. I guess you said you met
- 19:03Speaker 2: Kim Jung un? Did you meet him?
- 19:06Speaker 3: I've been to the DMZ, I've been to North Korea,
- 19:08Speaker 3: you know.
- 19:08Speaker 2: I mean, that's like saying I met with Wider Putin.
- 19:11Speaker 2: Did you meet with him?
- 19:11Speaker 1: I've been to rush Jaw Like, that's the worst answer
- 19:14Speaker 1: I've ever heard people.
- 19:16Speaker 3: I don't talk about my conversations with world leaders, and so.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Then why did you write about it in a book
- 19:21Speaker 1: and say you stare down little tyrants.
- 19:23Speaker 3: When I looked at the book and I saw that excerpt,
- 19:26Speaker 3: I decided to make the change to the content of
- 19:29Speaker 3: the book, and that's been done.
- 19:31Speaker 2: You didn't have a conversation with Kim when you were
- 19:33Speaker 2: at the DMA.
- 19:33Speaker 3: I don't have conversations about my conversations with world leaders.
- 19:37Speaker 1: So she will not say if she did or didn't
- 19:40Speaker 1: meet with Kim Jong ung, And that is exactly why
- 19:43Speaker 1: she should not be picked as the vice presidential candidate
- 19:47Speaker 1: for Donald Trump. She over extended trying to impress him,
- 19:52Speaker 1: and it backfired in a massive way. I want to
- 19:57Speaker 1: get to another really important topic real quick, the Trump Trial.
- 20:02Speaker 1: We now have more information that has come out about
- 20:05Speaker 1: the Trump trial prosecutor, and we now know that prosecutor
- 20:10Speaker 1: directly donated to Joe Biden's presidential campaign.
- 20:15Speaker 2: That's right. The prosecutor who.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Questioned adult film star Stormy Daniels on Tuesday is someone
- 20:25Speaker 1: who donated to not just Democrats, but directly to Joe
- 20:30Speaker 1: Biden's twenty twenty presidential campaign. Susan Hoffinger of the Manhattan
- 20:36Speaker 1: District Attorney's office gave the Biden campaign not one but
- 20:41Speaker 1: two different donations in twenty twenty. According to the Election
- 20:45Speaker 1: Commission documents that The New York Post found, this prosecutor
- 20:51Speaker 1: in the twenty twenty election cycle also contributed more than
- 20:54Speaker 1: nine hundred dollars to Act Blue, the fundraising platform used
- 20:59Speaker 1: by many Democrat politicians and liberal organizations to have even
- 21:03Speaker 1: more influence over elections. The FEC filing show that the
- 21:08Speaker 1: prosecutor appears to have donated exclusively to Democrats since two
- 21:12Speaker 1: thousand and four, with her first contributions going to the
- 21:16Speaker 1: party's then presidential nominee John Kerry.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Now it has been known.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Also that the daughter of the judge in this case, Merchant,
- 21:26Speaker 1: who's overseeing all of this anarchy, has ties not just
- 21:30Speaker 1: the Democratic Party but actually fundraises for the Democratic Party.
- 21:36Speaker 1: What's the number one way to fundraise. If you're a
- 21:38Speaker 1: Democrat right now, say you're gonna go after Donald Trump
- 21:41Speaker 1: or lock Donald Trump up.
- 21:43Speaker 2: Man.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Isn't it nice that the judge's own daughter is making
- 21:46Speaker 1: a bunch of money off of the Democratic fundraising she's
- 21:49Speaker 1: doing now, Stormy Daniels, she went to the witness stand
- 21:53Speaker 1: describing for jurors a sexual encounter that she claims she
- 21:57Speaker 1: had with Trump and O six and her being paid
- 22:01Speaker 1: off to keep silent, she claims during the presidential race.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Ten years later, she also put out a letter saying
- 22:08Speaker 1: that it never happened, but apparently now she was lying
- 22:11Speaker 1: to you then.
- 22:12Speaker 2: But you're supposed to believe her now.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Trump's defense attorney, saying Daniel's testimony was prejudicial, ass merchant
- 22:20Speaker 1: the judge to declare a mistrial. The judge denied the
- 22:23Speaker 1: request after Hoffinger argued that the claim was without merit
- 22:28Speaker 1: or basis.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Now Hoffinger isn't the only.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Prosecutor involved in the case found to have now have
- 22:34Speaker 1: direct ties the Democratic Party. FEC records also show that
- 22:40Speaker 1: the senior counsel, Matthew Colin Jello, once was the third
- 22:47Speaker 1: ranking highest official and President Joe Biden's Justice Department. He
- 22:53Speaker 1: took a massive demotion to leave the third highest position
- 22:58Speaker 1: at the DOJ to go back to the Manhattan DA's office.
- 23:03Speaker 2: That's not normal.
- 23:05Speaker 1: But if you understand that this is all the Democratic
- 23:07Speaker 1: Party coming together to try to take down Donald Trump,
- 23:10Speaker 1: it actually makes sense that individual who took a massive
- 23:15Speaker 1: demotion to go put Trump in jail or at least
- 23:17Speaker 1: try donated four hundred dollars to former President Barack Obama
- 23:22Speaker 1: and was paid twelve thousand in political consulting fees by
- 23:29Speaker 1: the Democratic National Committee in twenty eighteen. So this is
- 23:33Speaker 1: a paid Democratic operative who's number three at the DOJ,
- 23:38Speaker 1: who then all of a sudden takes a demotion goes
- 23:42Speaker 1: to New York to become a prosecutor in the DA's office.
- 23:46Speaker 1: There for one reason to prosecute a former president of
- 23:50Speaker 1: the United States of America. Now, this all comes on
- 23:54Speaker 1: top of last week where House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim
- 23:57Speaker 1: Jordan sent a letter to the USA Attorney Merrick Garland
- 24:01Speaker 1: in an investigation to possible coordination between the Justice Department
- 24:06Speaker 1: and the Manhattan DA's office and the what it was
- 24:10Speaker 1: described by Jordan as the politicized prosecution of Trump, which,
- 24:14Speaker 1: by the way, if you're number three at DOJ, and
- 24:16Speaker 1: you take a huge demotion to go back to Manhattan
- 24:19Speaker 1: where you don't even go normally. Right, doesn't make any
- 24:21Speaker 1: sense all, Not like he was moving home to just
- 24:24Speaker 1: go after Donald Trump. Doesn't That seem like coordination between
- 24:28Speaker 1: the Justice Department, the Manhattan's DA's office, and the political
- 24:32Speaker 1: prosecution of Donald Trump now an issue specifically for Jordan
- 24:37Speaker 1: and the House Republicans. In this prosecutor's efforts while with
- 24:42Speaker 1: the New York Attorney General's Office, led by the Attorney
- 24:45Speaker 1: General la Denisia James lawsuit against Trump as well as
- 24:49Speaker 1: the four hundred and fifty million dollar judgment earlier this year,
- 24:53Speaker 1: this individual who was number three at the DA joined
- 24:56Speaker 1: the Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg's office after a stint at
- 25:02Speaker 1: the DOJ became public.
- 25:05Speaker 2: Okay, so let's just back up for a second.
- 25:10Speaker 1: You've got premium lawyers that are all taking demotions, who've
- 25:15Speaker 1: all given political donations either directly to Joe Biden or
- 25:19Speaker 1: indirectly to Joe Biden through the different organizations that support him,
- 25:24Speaker 1: or just giving money to the Democratic National Committee, who
- 25:29Speaker 1: are all of a sudden all running to New York
- 25:31Speaker 1: to then try to put Donald Trump in jail, you
- 25:34Speaker 1: fast forward to the outcomes here, or I should say,
- 25:38Speaker 1: to the present day. You've got Trump that's been charged
- 25:41Speaker 1: with thirty four felony counts of falsifying business records related
- 25:46Speaker 1: to the alleged hust.
- 25:47Speaker 2: Money payments made to Daniels.
- 25:49Speaker 1: And the same guy that's going after Trump was at
- 25:52Speaker 1: the DOJ at the same time when they refused to
- 25:55Speaker 1: bring charges against Trump or to move forward the case
- 25:59Speaker 1: because they said there was no case there. Did you
- 26:03Speaker 1: hear what I just said. The guys who were at
- 26:06Speaker 1: the DOJ. Okay, they were at the DOJ didn't bring
- 26:12Speaker 1: a case against Trump because they said there was no
- 26:14Speaker 1: case there. And now they leave that office to then
- 26:23Speaker 1: go back and prosecute him while taking a pay cut
- 26:27Speaker 1: to go prosecute him. There's no other way to describe
- 26:32Speaker 1: this but total and utter insanity. I hope that they're
- 26:38Speaker 1: not successful. They very well may be, I want to
- 26:42Speaker 1: be clear about that, because they also made sure that
- 26:45Speaker 1: they went after him in a place where ninety percent
- 26:48Speaker 1: of the people that live there are registered Democrats. So
- 26:52Speaker 1: the chances of you getting a fair trial there are
- 26:56Speaker 1: basically like a joke.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Okay, it's just it's just a it's a joke.
- 27:02Speaker 1: The I the idea that you could possibly get a
- 27:07Speaker 1: fair trial there, it's it's not going to happen, folks, Okay, like,
- 27:11Speaker 1: it's just not. He knows it. They know it, and
- 27:14Speaker 1: that's why they picked it. They picked it solely for
- 27:18Speaker 1: that reason. One other thing I also want to say
- 27:23Speaker 1: about this prosecution is if they do put Trump in jail,
- 27:28Speaker 1: and and this judge seems to be moving closer and
- 27:30Speaker 1: closer to doing it, I do believe that it is
- 27:34Speaker 1: going to backfire in a major way, which is the
- 27:37Speaker 1: only reason why at this point I think they may
- 27:39Speaker 1: not do it.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Okay, like that they may not, just for that reason.
- 27:45Speaker 1: This is a president that is sitting there and he's
- 27:49Speaker 1: under persecution by his own government, and he's reminding people
- 27:55Speaker 1: at the same time, I'm out there fighting for you.
- 27:58Speaker 2: I'll give you an example. Donald Trump was.
- 28:01Speaker 1: And again he's in between this trial, he gets a
- 28:04Speaker 1: day off, he goes on a local wgal TV channel eight,
- 28:10Speaker 1: and he's talking about the issues that are affecting the Americans.
- 28:13Speaker 1: He's not talking about his court case. Listen to what
- 28:15Speaker 1: he said today.
- 28:16Speaker 6: We have to seal it up, go back to my program,
- 28:18Speaker 6: we had the safest border in history. I built five
- 28:21Speaker 6: hundred and seventy one miles of wall. We had two
- 28:23Speaker 6: hundred miles ready to go. We just had to flip
- 28:25Speaker 6: it up. And they decided that they wanted open borders
- 28:30Speaker 6: to allow people to come in from all over the
- 28:32Speaker 6: world from jails, prisons, from mental institutions. They're coming into
- 28:36Speaker 6: our country from mental institutions.
- 28:39Speaker 2: We're taking everybody. Yeah, some people my school. All you
- 28:42Speaker 2: have to do is.
- 28:43Speaker 6: All you have to do is ask him where do
- 28:45Speaker 6: you come from? They came in, We had a lot
- 28:47Speaker 6: of them. A lot of people came in from the
- 28:49Speaker 6: Congo from jails and the Congo in Africa. We have
- 28:52Speaker 6: people coming in from all over the world, not just
- 28:55Speaker 6: South America, and many are coming from prisons and many
- 28:58Speaker 6: coming from mental linescs stitutions.
- 29:01Speaker 1: It is amazing to me that Donald Trump can stay
- 29:04Speaker 1: this focused and he is laser focused on winning this
- 29:07Speaker 1: election while all of this is going on around him.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Make sure you share this podcast with your family and
- 29:12Speaker 1: your friends, and I'll see you back here tomorrow.
